Perfect game, couple bugs. Developer, please teach this game how to handle the portal when dividing for a decimal. The poor calculator doesn't know how to add a number value within a decimal place, and anytime it tries, instead of returning ERROR, it simply crashes. My problem is specifically level 184: divide by two then add a digit. another person seems to have had the same problem on level 182

Solve all the puzzles for a reward at the end!. The fifth star of this review is due to the end game sequence! It's worth getting there just to find out what happens when you "free" the little face in the calculator. You also find out who YOU are! It's great, do it!

No way to get rid of ads. Love the game but the ads are way too frequent. Tried to pay to remove them, but there’s no way to. The button to remove them doesn’t work. Tried buying 9 hints because others said that worked, but it doesn’t. So now all I’ve done is waste $2.99 and my time. Please fix it. 😢

Fun Game. Needs Sound Option.. Love this game. Well worth the $2.99 to disable the ads (and get 9 hints)!! I played through the entire game in just a few days, but I'm still enjoying playing through it again. The one thing this game MUST have added is a setting to disable the game's sounds and music. I shouldn't have to mute my phone just so I don't have to hear the button clicks and other noises. That's a basic setting that exists in every other app I've ever seen - how is it not here? Fix that one issue, and this is a no-brainer for 5 stars!

Great game ... worth the upgrade to avoid the ads. (Updated my initial 2-star review after discovering I could remove the annoying ads by paying $2.99 for 9 hints.) As a fan of logic puzzles, I've enjoyed this since downloading it. Makes for a great diversion during my work commute -- don't worry, I'm not behind the wheel ;)

Keeps me sharp. Nice math brain game. I’m so slow when it comes to math so I am glad there is no time limit. You just keep trying until you get to the next level.

THIS WAS ADORABLE!. Not only did I have fun and actually spent time thinking and calculating(pun intended) to figure out what to do but I really got invested into the game play. It's simple not hard but it still makes you think. The calculator was cute and I really love it.

Great game!. It's really fun. There are occasionally ads between levels, but very few. It's simple and fun. The one problem I found is that it uses X both as a variable and as a multiplication sign. For squaring, it'll say X^2, for multiply by 3 it'll say X3, and for multiply by negative 3 it says X-3. This can be a bit confusing.

Do you like maths puzzles? That’s what this is…. It is just like the game show Countdown. So really, if you like maths games, give it a try. Adverts are not super intrusive, and can be removed with $2.99 purchase. So if you like it, give the guy a few bucks, or deal with occasional ads. Have fun!

You can remove ads. Looks like you're using a Calculator :-). I didn't feel like the description made this very clear, but you can remove ads for $2.99. From the game, you choose the option to buy 9 hints for $2.99, and that (also) removes ads. Removing the ads removes both the persistent, embedded ad and any pop up video ads. What's cool about this game is that it kind of looks like you're using a Calculator, to anyone nearby who doesn't look very carefully :-) It also controls just like a Calculator, so it's easy to play very casually as you hold it in one hand. Oh, and the puzzles are pretty pleasant. At least so far, they've all been a fairly reasonable number of moves – between 4 and 7 – and I haven't had to use any hints. If I start seeing any 12-step puzzles that force me to use hints, maybe I'll come back and knock this down to 4 stars :-)

Cool game. Cool game, haven’t seen any flaws. I’ll get frustrated sometimes only to come back and receive an epiphany about how to solve it. Then I feel smart haha. A lot of math. Awesome for making you feel smart and think about math.

It’s good. One bug though. It’s really fun, and challenges your brain. But there is a bug. After a level, sometimes it gives you an ad, after that ad it goes to the next level. Whenever it goes to the next level it, it shows the “settings”, and “buy hints” buttons. It shows none of the progress buttons (i,e:”+5” “-3” etc). The only way to get it to go back to normal, is to close out of the app. Hope this helps fix the bug. Sorry for any bad English or punctuation.

Amazing. The idea is creative and the execution is amazing. I did get stuck on level 50 for like 2 years and gave up, but after coming back I did the unbeatable strategy of mashing random buttons and by some random chance it actually worked. Great game

Fun and unique. It’s a nice puzzle game based of a unique concept. one interesting thing is that you can use less than the total number of moves in some areas one being level 101.

Good, but some stuff can be added. This game is so fun I love the way you feel like you are playing a game but it’s actually kindve like a math game! But other things can be added like maybe and actual calculator on it or maybe some other thing to do besides the usual game. Overall great game but some other things can be added would love to see those things added!!😁

Brain Teaser!!!. This game is a brain teaser!!! It's really hard but barely any adds! I feel accomplished when I finish a level. When the calculator talks it looks cool!!! I Don't really like the hints it doesn't give me ideas but I like it. The game is a Brain game that gives me a headache sometimes but I figure it out and it's addicting to play!!! Best game ever!. I LOVE this game. It is my go-to for traveling since a lot of games don't work if you're in airplane mode. I've spent quite a few fights hanging out with this cute little calculator. It makes you feel smart when you get the puzzles right and it's just the right amount of challenging. I love that there are no time limits or max number of tries before you lose. I would pay for this game or any sequels!

Great puzzles but.... So far I think all the levels are amazing I had a lot of fun with this game. There is this one problem... sometimes the puzzles are really hard and I just want to view the story without having to look up a walk-through. There is also this bug where if you have a hand and you go into settings and then go back the hint gets removed so if you want another hand it just tells you what you already know. Other than that it’s a great game so far. I think the story is very interesting I am on level 122. Keep up the great work!

Very clever game!. Well done game. Be sure to cover the solar cell with your finger for a clever Easter egg. My only complaint: I have the game on both my iPad and iPhone, but there’s no way to sync my levels between the two, so that if I stop playing on one device then I can pick up from where I left off on the other device.

Feature wanted. I do want a fiction to select level 1 by keep going right so it goes back to level one instead of going down all the time by going left. Great game I hope there will be some more levels.

Level 175. I was loving it. Challenging and interesting. HOWEVER...I am stuck at level 175. I have used hints for four straight days. One day, it even gave me 8 hints (costs $,). It is only 4 moves...how can I have 8 hints? I must be totally dumb? Explain to me how to get to 1991 on that level.

Really enjoy this and I hate maths!. I’m not a fan of math at all. But this is really simple math set up more like a logic puzzle. It’s a great time consumer. The ads are actually very minimal compared to most games. I’m surprised this hasn’t had a lot more attention. I don’t usually do reviews but this game deserves more screen time so I’m doing my part! I really do enjoy this. The simplicity, the level of difficulty that is challenging yet still lets me feel like the smartest person I know, the time consumability with added distractionacy to combat anything from boredom to an overactive guilt complex (so I’ve heard), and it’s pretty witty to boot. The instructions are easy to follow, layout is clear. I’m still pretty early on in the game but at this rate this may become one of my staple go-tos. Thanks, devs, keep em coming!

ThatCattt101. So first this game is great. My friend got it told me to get it, I got it now I play it when I have nothing else to do! There is no glitches, bugs. I love how cute the design is, the maffy (haha see what I did) kind of feel is a cool way to ‘learn’ I mean it’s not like ur teaching us what 3x7 (21) is. But overall just one thing u should add in the beginning: when it tells us to use a hint I HATE ABSOLUTELY HATEEE when games tells us to use a hint, and u can’t just not use the hint especially when it’s ez. Pls add or fix something for the future players! Thanks.

Plesant Game!. I downloaded the game last night before I went to bed. When I woke up, I decided to try to play it- which was a lovely surprise! The game setup is cute, our assistant is just ADORABLE, and the puzzles I've encountered are pretty enjoyable. I love how this game makes you think about math but in a fun way- it's a game and not math homework. The ads are slightly annoying, but I understand why they're there and I haven't had problems with it. Overall, a nice app!

Amazing and I totally recommend. He’s so cute- the calculator. He acts like a human, because of course the creators wanted him too, and it had me smiling so many times. It’s also a very pleasing brain teaser and not a rage emitter. Sure, you get stuck, but you realize why you did and you fix it. I love it and nothing is wrong with the app so far, gameplay and glitch wise.

Charming and challenging!. When I first saw this game I thought it was just a joke however now that I’ve played it I can see that it is very good and very challenging it’s as simple as a walk in the park if the park was filled with scorpions and there was a scorpion on your back or your fighting scorpion from server Mortal Kombat play list to say it’s a good game I’d recommend if you MATH and THINKING!!!

Happy happy happy. This is by far my favorite game The only reason it's a four is because once in a while the app with crash and I'll have to reopen it and whenever I go for my daily hint I'll finish watching the video and right before it can give me the credit it closes out of the app so I have to rewatch the video After the game can get updated I'll most definitely come back and update my rating 😊😊

How to beat Clicky. (No real spoiler, here): On level 184, tap the div-2 button. Clicky tries to send a decimal through the portal and dies. You win! Seriously, the app is great fun, particularly if you like puzzles and math. Plus the retro calc vibe is more awesome than you think it will be.

I’d give it four stars.. I’d rather pay 99 cents for it to have no ads. There is an ad about every 5-7 levels. If you don’t mind that, then it is a great game. Other than the ad problem, there is nothing to dis about this game. Great levels, addicting, free, fun, this is a great starter or pastime game for math/calculator lovers. So yeah. If there weren’t as many ads, I’d say five stars.

Living my childhood dreams. I used to do this same thing with a calculator when I was little and bored in class, but now that I never have to take another math class or use an actual calculator again, this is a nice way to keep myself entertained like that, plus it adds buttons that I never would have thought of like transforming some numbers into other ones. I’m addicted lol

An enjoyable way to learn math!. I first downloaded this game in 2017 (It’s 2021) on my tablet while waiting for my food at a nearby McDonald’s. I immediately fell in love with the concept of the game. I highly recommend this game. Its fun for literally anyone of any age! From children who hate math class in school and need something to make it more enjoyable to adults who need a break from the troubles of daily life! Best of all, this game gets you thinking. All in all, this game really does deserve 5 stars!

Fun. Game is fun and just the right amount of hard. It’s also great because I’m not allowed to get games on my phone but I convinced my mom to let me get this because it’s “math” even though it’s not most of the time. I have the second downloaded but I haven’t played it yet. Great game!

A Fantastic Mathy Challenge. I feel this is a game for those who like a great challenge. Although it’s a simple concept, each level requires thinking through the numbers that will get you to your goal.

Not A Traditional Math Game. I love math games! I am disappointed in this one because it starts out using traditional math operations (/2 and +1, etc.) but then throws in the ability to remove the last digit of a number (456 to 45, for instance.) I guess I’m an old traditionalist, but this seems non-mathematical, and prevents me from enjoying the game. I’m sure it’s just me, however!

Level 129 and 140 skip. I know you’ve been mostly updating the sequel and not this one, but you can skip all of level 129 by erasing the total and adding 9 twice. It saves a move too. You can also beat level 140 without the [+1] button

Don’t Get This Game If You’re An Achievement Hunter. This game is all well and good on its own, but it has its own achievements. First off, it doesn’t advertise that you have sign into Game Center through the Settings button before level 5 or you won’t get the achievement. Second off, I tried getting the level 5 achievement several times, deleting and redownloading the game every time, only to not get it because of an ad popup. I’m an achievement hunter and when I can’t get 5 easy achievements because of ads, not only does it bug me, it pisses me off. The game itself is fun and deceptively simple, but don’t put achievements in the game if you’re going to block people from getting them by putting ads in the achievement milestones.

A Great Math Brain Twister. An excellent game. Rarely can it be truly said that a game is challenging, fun, educational, and not frustrating. What I like about this game is that the puzzles explore math but, not in a way that stresses the player. There are no, at least that I have encountered, stress inducing timed or hurried scenarios. If a puzzle is too challenging, simply take a break and the Puzzle Calc is patiently waiting happy to see you when you return. Developers: I gave 4/5 stars because the App does not rotate when the screen orientation changes. Also, the options menu is a little hard to figure out. Example, I can not turn off sounds and do not know where to pay and disable the advertisements. All in all, I love this game!

Pleasantly challenging. Enjoyable little game that makes me think without pressure. The only problem I've had, though, was playing on the small screen of my iPhone 5s. The ads' close/dismiss (X) buttons don't show up, and one time the ad disappeared and let me play the game, but the annoying music kept playing in the background. Otherwise, it plays perfectly on my iPad, with none of these issues.

Love It. As I have only been playing since this morning, I am not sure if this can really qualify as an accurate review but, I so far LOVE this game. But, to be fair, I am a huge nerd. There aren’t to many adds and it is so cute! Anyways, I definitely think I will continue to play this game. It is very underrated.

This game makes me giddy. I am definitely a math lover and often get frustrated with puzzle games that are just too easy. This one hasn't gotten too hard yet but it is a fun challenge and it is just too adorable at the same time. It causes a blissful feeling....I wish I knew more math lovers to tell about it.

Glitchy right now. I’ve been playing this for about a week now and I love it!! My daughter even got it and got way ahead of me. Right now it keeps freezing on me and won’t even let me get back to my home screen sometimes too! Not good! Thus the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 right now.

Almost perfect!. This game seems perfect, but it accepts HALF numbers (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 etc.), and then lapses into the “Helvetica” font to display “Error” some time after Level 1-25 (before it just said “Error” in the normal font that resembles “DB LCD Temp”). Can you fix this minor bug?

Nice game. Addicting. I would've rated five stars except that it has a bug the keeps crashing the program. I am on level 184 & every time I divide an odd number by 2, it shows the answer as xxx .5 and then one second later the program crashes. Please fix!

Paid to remove ads and I STILL HAVE ADS!. What a ripoff! Yes, I paid and was charged to remove ads and still have the bar at the bottom and periodic ads between levels and...WOW! more freaking ads for 30 seconds once completing a few levels. Seems to me that the money I paid was complete BS. I enjoyed the game up to this point, but why charge people more money for nothing? What a ripoff! The developers should be flayed for such disreputable fleecing of customers.

Best MATH app ever. I really like this app and it is so fun to see what numbers make the sum or product. I love it so much and I think people should get this app. I also like the little cool character. Even though there’s adds that pop up know and then it is perfect for making your brain work

Puzzle->Ad->Puzzle. Puzzle->Ad->Puzzle->Ad->Puzzle->Ad->Puzzle->Ad nauseam (pun most definitely intended) I understand developers need to eat and ads make that more possible in free apps. I understand ads can be removed for $1.99. But these puzzles are so quick, having a video ad after every. single. one! is disruptive in the extreme and breaks my puzzle-solving flow, making me irritated and more likely to close the game than pay to remove the ads. May dip back into the game for more puzzles later. May delete it. Haven’t decided.

This game is great!. This game is one of the best I've ever played (as a casual on the go kind of game). The character of the calculator is adorable, and puzzles are the perfect level of difficulty, and the addition of new buttons is great! The only things that aren't to like are the advertisments, however, I completely understand why they're there. Oh, and also, the game is very enjoyable by itself.

Level 40. OMG😱! Once I finished level 30, the little clip when the Calculator talks to you showed up and kinda surprised me when it talked. I won’t spoil what it said but I knew something was up, so I looked at the game app desc in the App Store and read through it. When reading this, I knew there was something more to this game so I suggest to you, to those are reading this review to download the game! It so interesting once you keep on playing! First, it seems like a problem solving game, but when you keep on going, there’s like little things you’ll start to notice! So omg guys, please play this game!

Some of the levels i played, i solved it with 1 or 2 moves left for example lvl 128. I feel like i solved the puzzle but not using the intended method. But other than that, great game 👍

Cute Fun Game. It’s so much fun! I know that since I love math. It’s simple to play! All you need is a calculator. Wait... it’s a calculator! 😱😱😱 But... You gotta fix it! You must solve equations in certain moves! It’s fun and is a big tricky. I love those games

DO NOT UPDATE - 28 JUNE. The game os fun but the last update, the game crashes on opening. Please wait for the fix before updating. Had to delete to get it to work and lots all my progress.

Clever. I’m doing maths and not hating it, so it’s a great app!!

Calculated the game. First when I reached level 24 I was trying to pass it and then the next day I went on again and..it kicked me out and kept on doing that and so I deleted it and then downloaded it again and works better but I lost my progress...

No option to remove ads. Full screen video ads that make you wait to skip. I am never going to click on any of them. I want them gone. There should be an IAP to remove them, but there isn’t. It’s almost unplayable like this – the ads are really intrusive and irritating. Close buttons are hard to hit and inconsistently placed. Also, all the buttons in the settings screen are unlabelled and the icons are not self explanatory. I pressed one of them, it clearly did something because its icon changed, but I have no idea what it was. None of the buttons appear to do anything at all.

So Addictive!!!. I only have had this for about 5 hours but I all ready love it. It keeps you busy for so long! 3.7 on the hard scale

Calculator Game. I love this game so much! I'm one of those kids who loves maths and this game not only is very fun but makes me use my brain.

Unfortunate. This looked like it would be lots of fun. Unfortunately, for reasons known only to the developers, they took a concept that could have been totally accessible to people using screen reading software and made it totally inaccessible. Creating inclusive games enables more people to play. It’s really not that hard, but does take some thought.

Fun game but ads too intrusive. It’s a fun idea for a game and it’s good for the public transport commute because each level isn’t too big. Some are really easy, but I’ve also been stumped for a while on quite a few. I agree with a previous reviewer who noted there was no in-app purchase to remove ads. I get the need to make money, but full-screen ads every 3 levels is too much. They’re the nasty ads too, that try to hide the close button. Maybe every 10 levels would be a bit kinder. Update: ok, I have just seen the dev response to another review. The bigger hints IAPs also remove ads, but that’s not mentioned in the IAP list in the App Store here. So it’s hard for people to find out.

A really intuitive and simplistic puzzle game!. This game is quite the time killer and to be honest, it gives off the whole ‘fun arcade game’ thing vibe, which is hard to find in today’s era… :( I hope to find many more games like this pop up in the App Store and to be honest, on any platform whether it be Roblox, itch, steam, Google Play, etc. The game developers really thought a lot about the minor details and the puns which the calculator cracks (the bubble gum one was my favourite), and the overall vibe of it is just the same arcade thing i said earlier; -with a modern twist! So, overall, if you’re looking for an enjoyably challenging experience, I would highly recommend installing this game! P.S. and to all the people complaining about the ads, just launch the game when you’re not connected to the InterNet! it is a simple fix that can be found out by a monkey. stop polluting this onderful application’s reviews.

Full screen ads that cant be removed. Looks cool but unplayable because of ads

Good. SO HARD

The only game I’ve decided to keep. I’ve never gotten why “super addictive” is a selling point for games. I mean it keeps me playing, but afterwards I tend feel like I’ve wasted way too much time. There are much more fulfilling things I’d rather be spending my time on than beating pointless little iPhone games. I don’t want an addictive game, I want a fun game. I want something that is able to keep me occupied and entertained on the commute, but doesn’t continue calling to me when I have work to do. That’s what this game is to me. It somehow manages to be incredibly fun while playing it, without being too satisfying as to distract me when I’m not. I recently decided to get rid of all the other games off my phone, but I ended up keeping this one.

this is a national treasure. This is such a fun puzzle game that makes you think and problem solve while practicing basic arithmetics. It's hard to find a math game that is this fun and still uses the brain. This is great for adults and children to play together.

great. this app is perfect for people who have spare time on their hands and want a bit of a challenge. Levels get increasingly harder as it progresses but every time they introduce a new button, they give a few easy levels to ease into it! My app crashed at level 184 so might want to get that fixed... overall would recommend!

I love how even though it’s cute and simple, you can do so many things and honestly I am not a math lover but this game is addictive and it is possible that it can help you with math in the sense that it will help find ways to make that number with only a few numbers and not to mention the cute little calculator that will help you out and make your day better. I think everyone should have this game in their life! Some people say that gent don’t like it because it’s math but I am here to prove that wrong because I probably would’ve thought the same if my friend didn’t let me try it on her phone! good math game, but terrible ads. Some of the most invasive unavoidable continuously pestering ads I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately these ads ruin the experience of an otherwise excellent puzzle/Math game. I really want to recommend it but the ads are simply toxic and really ruin the experience. Furthermore the pricing on hints is ridiculous. A hint gives you only the number of times one button is used. Blew my free hints really early on and the “daily free hint” feature barely functions.

Was good, now change something please. I cannot get past level 155! Of the hints, I did what they said but when I was finished the answer was 3003 and the was 3001. It means that the hints were wrong! Please fix it in the next update.

Solid Game. I'm a fan. Relatively challenging puzzle with a cute little side story as well. Very nice experience. I would like to see the integration of puzzles using decimal numbers and maybe fractions.

LOVE it. This is an awesome game and gets people using their brains in math! However, I got through level 122 and there's an error, so that level cannot be solved which keeps me from advancing. Please fix it! Therefore, I give it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Ad frequency ridiculous. It seemed like a game I’d love, but we’ll never know, because the ads come way too frequently before you’re even finished the training levels. Let people at least learn the game and play a few rounds before expecting them to make the decision whether to purchase or not. Uninstalled.

Entertaining w/o adds. I hate adds. I hate intrusive advertising, and the free version is loaded with them, so I choose to pay the $2.99 extortion to play without adds. It is a nice concept though and entertaining but not really worth $2.99.

Mute. Is there a button that mutes the sounds in the game or not? It bothers me when I'm listening to a song yet the beat is thrown off by the clicking of the buttons in game. Pretty good game overall though.
