All the right info. I’m am a licensed charter boat captain and 50+ year scuba diver This app has very complete wave , swell and wind predictions which are necessary to plan boat trips and diving days It’s easy to set up so that with one click I get the info I need. So far the accuracy has been great Picking the area that you want to check is easy. I normally use the noaa site but this one has the info with faster accessibility. Totally recommend it.

Must Have. There’s no quicker mor accurate way to figure out what you need to know to go offshore. Thank you!

Reporting stations. I like this app and use it all the time it would be nice to have more reporting station maybe we should petition NOAA for more reporting Buoys.

All the data I need. Every thing you need. Nothing you don’t Very accurate They don’t collect any data from you. That is unusual these days

Great app. We live 2 yrs. away from our boat in Tarpon Springs. We rely on the short and extended forecasts before driving to the area. This app is a definite go-to necessity. 👍

Dependable. Always accurate and dependable for conditions. Only wish they broke it down more than twice a day.

Easiest way into the NOAA info I've found. By far the easiest way I have found to access all the information from NOAA using a simple graphic interface. I travel constantly and getting marine forecasts other ways has been awkward til now.

Great tool. This app is a great tool for boaters or anyone living along the coast. Simply touch a location on the map and weather and tidal information is at your fingertips.

Good app but. Does not always show wave height info for every location which is important for smaller craft. Otherwise it’s spot on I always check this before going out.

Well built app. Just downloaded, been going offshore fishing. Easy to use

Beyond basic. Just a lousy local chart with low definition an one far away buoy giving you basic tide information Zero wind maps with arrows as it should have even if designed by a 2 year old And you call this “ Marine “ I am a sailor and there is zero added value in this app and nothing that anyone can’t find on any weather app Be serious put a wind direction map with arrows and wind speeds

Top weather & sea conditions source. This app has become my first choice when planning fishing trips. The weather and sea condition forecasts are generally very accurate, and the tide predictions are very helpful too. I do wish there was a little more info on the tide predictions though, perhaps a little more granularity so it’s easier to see tide changes at half hour intervals.

Alaskan boater. This is a fantastic app. I have been using it for several years now and the information is almost always accurate. I live in a remote area and if I want to go town, it’s a 14 mile trip across the bay, this is the second thing I look at, the first is sky outside my window.

Reliable and helpful. Living on a boat and traveling the ICW it allows us to plan ahead and almost look around the corner to avoid unwanted surprises room for improvements? yes, but a great format and easy to read.

Changes needed - include Wave Period for Marine Safety. Wish this contain the same information as the Coastal Marine forecast by zone info provided by NOAA that is important for Boater Safety. All experienced Boater know that Wave Period can be far more important than Wave Height. Time between waves (Wave Period) will define how good or bad the offshore conditions will be. If 4 foot waves have 10 seconds between wave it will be a super enjoyable day. If 4 foot waves have 5 seconds between wave it will be an awful day. Just go to the Marine Forecast by Zone information proved by NOAA and save the money of buying this app (app is handy for quick info but us Boaters end up just going back to NOAA Marine forecast web page and finding out the wave period and height for our safety anyways.

NOAA 5 day marine forecast. I really enjoy this app! I always used NOAA weather as a captain in the Merchant Marine. Unfortunately I don’t go to sea anymore but still keep an eye on local weather and the tides for my sons fishing endeavors! I am really impressed with the ease of using this product. As far as I’m concerned NOAA always has the most accurate weather forecasts. Thank You for sharing this app

Pretty good but lots of room for improvement. It seems a little crude to click on a location and then have the app pick the closest tide buoy. Why not show all tide buoys and let the user select one? Also why can’t you save favorite locations? The biggest problem I have with the app is that it doesn’t seem to include all tide buoys. There are several that are missing in the area that I sail in.

4.5 Stars. I like that the tide chart and marine forecast are both presented. It’s also really convenient, being on my phone. The online NOAA marine forecast has more info, in forecasting the weather and the marine forecast. Can you add that extra info here? Thx

Handy app. Very simple to operate. I run a 21-foot Whaler offshore and the app is much more fun and user-friendly than the clunky NOAA site where it draws its data from. Has it’s only limitation in that the NOAA site goes into hibernation every so often and the App then tells you that it’s loading data as it endlessly cycles. P Good app and worth the small fee.

A little quirky. This needs some updates as the interface is very sensitive if you accidentally touch a point when you meant to move the map. Wish it had favorites. And if alerts are given it doesn’t tell you how long they are in affect for.

Great App!. As a professional mariner, I use this app multiple times a day and it’s a must have.

Go no go for launch. I live in Southeast Alaska and fish offshore a lot with my 15’ whaler and reference this app 1st before planning my trips. Pretty accurate for the ever changing weather around here. I’d recommend it. I use this and the windy

Convenient to see weather and tide in same place. Note you have to swipe left to see tide. Swipe right to see weather.

Drop the extra couple dollars for the other app with more features.. There was no clarification in the description that this was just the cheaper, less utilitarian version of the other NOAA apps. Spend a couple bucks more and get many more features, instead of buying a bunch of apps for a few dollars. I bought the better one and now I’ll be deleting this.

Fast and solid. Great info that you can get quickly. The graphics also help you make sure you are getting data for the intended area.

Water Temperature Please!!. This is a great app. Very useful for getting marine forecasts. The one item that would be great is water temperatures. Here on the shores of Lake Erie, they typically give water temperature from 3 different points. The variance of knowing them can also be helpful. Thanks for a great app.

NOAA weather and tides together. EZ to check before heading out. Before using the app, I had to go to different sites for both tides and weather.

accurate and up to date. impossible to find local marine forecast for where I live .. it is available for nearby areas but those are useless when it comes to tides.. this app is more accurate, full of good detail that anyone who plays or works on the ocean would want to know!

Kayakers Must Have. As of now this is my go or no go app when planning a kayak fishing trip. I have used It over 10 times and the information was spot on. It takes the NOAA data and presents in a very easily understandable way. Just tap on where you want to be at and that is it. I like the wind data and the swell info. If the wind is over 7 kts or the swell is over 3 ft it is time to stay home and do something else.

Know your weather. I think this is my best source of reliable forecast. I still check two other sources as well before heading offshore!

Simple. More convenient that computer

A must have. Essentially for quick weather information. Integrated with NOAA advisories. Slick interface all apps should work as well...

Walker marine service. We are on the Gulf Coast and are in the large boat business. This app is great for scheduling service calls to advising travelers headed on long journeys. We are recommending it to all oof our customers.

First impression it’s a great intuitive app. Really surprised me since this app is very intuitive and easy to use as well the pleasant graphic layout complete the positive impression. I’m very happy to have discovered it. Down in the Florida Keys it’s an essential application for boaters and local living people

Rotation. Would love it if the app would auto rotate on my iPad from portrait to landscape Very cumbersome to use otherwise Thank you

NWS marine forecast. Love this app. Very easy to use once you know how it works. Choice of point forecast vs zone forecast is very useful. Attached tide chart is a big plus. What you need all in one app. Only thing I would like to see is a weather radar ability. Then it would be my only app.

Not fully accurate. I use a handful of marine weather apps and like this one for the links to warnings and craft advisories, but the wave height reported is never accurate. From winds 5 knots to 45 knots this only ever says “waves 1 foot or less.” Definitely a problem there.

Great response. Developer contacted me after my review and gave me a simple fix. Thanks for response. Can you make the map area larger with less text below?

Not worth buying. I just bought the App because I needed to know the marine Forecast off Charleston, South Carolina. It was unable to give me any information at all on the forecast. I checked the next zone north of Charleston and the App couldn’t give me any information there either. It did not appear to be a problem with NOAA, but with the App itself. I didn’t like giving this App even one star because I see it as worthless, but the only way to rate it is to give it at least one star.

Rarely acquires NOAA forecast data. I’m disappointed. I’ve had the app for a couple of days and I repeatedly get the message that it can’t get the NOAA forecast data for the region I want. I only wanted the app for getting the marine forecast for parts of the mid-Atlantic offshore region. It has never been able to provide this.

My #1 Go To. This is by far my favorite and most accurate weather app. Have used it while boating up and down the ICW for two years now. Spot on.

Exactly what I needed.. This app is beautiful and makes it easy to find marine information for the closest point to where I am boating and to jump back out to the zone forecast to see what’s happening offshore. Perfect for Southeast Alaska.

Cumbersome to use compared to the old Marine zone forecast app.. Really miss the old Marine Weather app that gave NOAA zone forecasts. The graphics were better as the zone boundaries were easier to see at all zoom ranges. This app defaults to a point forecast which I don’t really use. When trying to plan a passage up the coast this app gets positively annoying.

Good to Have. Very helpful when you need special alerts on weather conditions and stuff. I like it a lot. Thanks! I have another app by the same developer too!

The UI could be a little better done.. The user interface could be better done. Alerts pop up and they don’t have any context. It’s difficult to chose an area on the map to view.

Exactly what I was looking for!. Great app - 5/5! Just wish it had the water temp but that might not be possible for super specific locations.

Captain. Great features that are easy to use.

User. It’s working great now.

Forecast area is limited to the immediate coast.. About 60 to 70% of the forecast Zone does not provide a forecast. Instead when you touch the map a notification pops up stating forecast unavailable.

Not sure how to contact support.. Email address to make suggestions does not fill in address. Can't save locations, map very small to maneuver on iPhone.

Not accurate. This app is not even close to being accurate! It says in app 1 foot or less and the local new weather report say 4 feet! This is very dangerous!

Fixed point forecast. I’d like to be able to set a point forecast, name it, and have it always available in a list. I don’t see how to do that here.

Not for saltwater fisherman.. Doesn’t give NOAA weather and sea conditions offshore. Paid for an app that gives me 0 useful information. NOAA give weather and sea state past 1000 fathoms. Wouldn’t take much for this app to do the same considering their info probably comes from NOAA.

Not enough detail in forecast.. Easy to use, but forecast is by day an night only. Would be nice if forecast could be more specific for different times of day.

Go to weather app. Concise, accurate for SW FL and glitch-free. Use it regularly.

Solid. Limited but works for me. Anyone who wants accurate weather forecasting should be using multiple sources anyway.

System down. I just purchased hoping to make offshore plans. System is down and not working. This might be something to mention before allowing people to spend money on the App.

Offshore Grouper June 1st. I find this mobile app very helpful. Good info for planning day trips even overnight trips to the middle grounds.

Can’t find wave heights. Just like any of the other free weather apps. Don’t see any wave heights. Tides are very general. Much better free apps out there

Calm water and weather yet received a “Risk” warning. Currently on the water and search for weather to see how it compares. The water and weather forecast is calm, yet I received a pop-up “Risk” warning!!

Better than.... Easier and better than that other marine app with bouy in its name.

2 stars. Could be better rating , but the size of the font for the current day is so small it’s unreadable. All other days are fine

Nice. So far this has been very accurate and reliable.

Too little. Not much info fo an app you have to pay for. Can only look at 1 point at a time, no saving favorites. Or am I missing something? Free aid I use are better.

Expected more!. I was hoping for this app to have the NOAA marine forecast discussion. All this information is available in many websites for free. The tide chart is ok but not accurate for my area.

Great for SAR. But! Would love to also have water temps included, please.

Not happy with app. Not user friendly. Too hard to get an accurate zone forecast. Found the app to be slow also.

Not very specific. Cape cod bay and Nantucket sound are close on the map but have two very different weather patterns. This app lumps them all together making it useless to differentiate between the two areas.

Not worth it. This app has only the most basic information, all of which you can get from google for free in one click. Not worth having.

Works well. Simple but accurate.. Nice to have forecast and tides so easy to access before fishing off Central Cal coast. Nice app.

Inaccurate. Inaccurate wind directions and speed along with often no wave conditions, and when they do show up they are also inaccurate.

Easy to use. Use this app every morning heading out, 20 foot boat, knowing wave heights is a must .

Could be better. It’s ok but it needs an hour by hour weather forecast that’s 24hrs out instead of possible showers all day

noaa data can’t be beat!. data from noaa is the most accurate, and this app helps to present it in an understandable and interesting way. i was originally looking for an app by noaa, and am glad i happened upon marine wx. it packages noaa’s data in a concise package that’s easy to navigate.

PNW Island Boater. Great! Easy to understand and get the data for my location.

Ice features. Easy to get point measurements for what you need! It beats googling it.
