WAS an ok app. The last version was clunky but functional. The newest update is trash. I’ve had multiple issues. One, it shows badges on the app but there are no notifications within the app. I am anal about clearing badges so that’s a big one for me. Two, all my favorite orders are gone, same account, points are still there, no favorites, so much for that crazy Mad Dog variant I liked so much. Three, it freezes often require a force quit and reopen, and that means starting everything over, including login. Four, you have to use Face ID or you are forced to manually login every time, security is good, but if someone snags my phone, the thief ordering themselves pizza is the least of my worries. Five, just a small glitch, but when I choose delivery and search for my store it says delivery not available in your area, but if I go directly to my store on the app I can choose delivery.

Convenient but flawed. I like the convenience of ordering from Mod in a dedicated app, but I had a horrible experience recently. I went to order a pizza for Friday night, and the closest location (which is the default) closes early (8pm). I started my order before 7 but placed it afterwards 7:15pm. The app placed my order for the FOLLOWING DAY AT NOON!!! No error message regarding closing early, nothing. It wasn’t until my food still wasn’t here at 8pm that I realized the issue. I also couldn’t cancel my order in the app - despite them creating a future order!!! And the app makes you contact the store - which wouldn’t open until AROUND 11am on SATURDAY! And to make matters worse, if I had ordered from another location - I would have had no trouble since the others were open until 11pm. It was a very frustrating evening for my family - we ended up eating cereal. 😖

App update is awful. I opened up the new version today and it was confusing to use and the worst part… when I tapped the button to pay, it didn’t give me the usual options to choose which payment method! The app just chose for me and went ahead and charged. I have several payment methods loaded in and I want to edit them, but nowhere on the app allows me to access and edit my payment information. I went online to see if I could edit in the browser version and I can’t find it anywhere, nor can I find a “contact us” for app support. Really bad update from and excellent pizza place.

App is good but could be easily be much better. I love that it saves your order history making it easy to re-order. Since we’re a family of 5, we’re always ordering 5 pies or more if we have other kids or guests. One incredibly annoying flaw is that if any single ingredient on your recalled order is not available on the day you are ordering, it won’t let you order from the history. Why can’t you simply add a previous order and then modify each one as needed? C’mon. Second, when using a gift card, if the amount doesn’t cover the entire order, it won’t let you use it. This is just mind boggling. If I have a gift card with $30 but my order of >$30, it won’t apply the card and allow you to pay the remainder. These two issues drive me crazy. Please add some common sense to this app!

Love mod for food allergies & multi orders. We order often as we have a family of 4 with multiple food allergies. We don’t specifically have life threatening food allergies but my son is pretty darn close to that for his nut allergies although he can eat things made in the same facility as nuts etc. anyway, we’ve never had a problem ourselves at Mod with our food allergies and intolerances. I do gluten free/dairy free pizza, I am not celiac. My son does regular crust with dairy free cheese and so does my fiancé. My step son does regular crust & cheese and we always order a big salad. For a family of 4 you can’t beat the price for multiple pizzas and we love the taste as well! Hyped on Mod!

Used to Be Good. This used to be a good, simple app. Now it is very buggy with many annoyances. It automatically logs me out and turns off the Face ID so I am having to log back in. In the update, all my past orders were lost—it doesn’t save them as easy anymore. The notifications are excessive and the notification badge says there are notifications when I cannot find any when logging in. I have gone other places for lunch because this app is now clunky and takes too much time to deal with. What used to take less than a minute to do to order ahead for pickup or curbside now can take several minutes or just not work at all. They had a good app! Now it’s an annoyance that deters business.

Great app, but missing two things. I would give this a 4.5 if possible. This app is fast, responsive, and has all the details of the online store. However, it is missing two things keeping it from being perfect. One: I would like to be able to specify (without typing in special instructions) if I want something to only be on one half of the pizza. So maybe have it where you can hit a topping three times: once for adding it everywhere, once to add it on a half, and another to remove. The second thing would be an integrated Apple Pay payment method. Other than these two things, this is a solid app.

Disappointed in Customer Service. Hi! We are frequent customers at MOD Pizza and so is my extended family (every Friday to treat our kids after preschool). Typically when I walk in, I’m greeted with friendly faces that seem happy to be serving me. Today, I did not feel that especially from the gentleman working the oven. When I walked in, I was given a long stare with a grim face from him until I finally said, “I’m here for my mobile order”. In a very unfriendly voice he replied, “it’s in the oven.” I proceeded to wait for my order (done in a timely manner), so thank you for that!! He did not offer to put it in a bag, or extra sauce like he normally does. He barely even said, “here’s your order”. I am just disappointed in the customer service today. I’m not sure the reasoning, but we will most likely halt our time here at Mod Pizza and continue our business somewhere else in Georgetown for our Friday treats. The app is not very user friendly when it comes to ordering. Multiple times I’ve ordered and would like to pick my food up at 11:15 with the understanding you all open at 11, so I can pick my kids up in time from preschool. I can never get it to work on the app and have to choose 11:30. Other pizza places in town have pizzas ready at 11, which makes it more convenient for us. I’m usually not one to complain, but I’m very disappointed in the customer service I experienced today, specifically from the gentleman working the oven.

PLEASE FIX. i like mod pizza & the mod pizza staff. However this app got to go. When the app was upgraded recently it’s now screwed up. i order from the same mods location & each time when placing an order it ask me for my location. This new app does not store my mods gift card “EACH TIME” i place an order it ask me for that long gift card number & pin. this annoys me can someone please fix ASAP Another issue… if i make 2 separate purchases the same day it will not let me scan for points until the next day — please fix this issue also update i took a star away — i can’t log on to the app — it’s giving me error message. i tried changing my password 2 times & still won’t let me log in. App still logs me out all the time, & it does not hold my gift card info. i have to put 19 numbers + 8 more digits for the pin each time i place an order. PLEASE FIX —

Repeatedly Kicks Me Out. It seems like every other time I use the app, it’s kicked me out and wants me to sign in again. That would normally only be a minor inconvenience. However, mod uses a third party to manage their logins and my password app doesn’t recognize the Mod app as a recorded password since the account was created somewhere else. Since I have no idea what the third party site’s name is, I always have to reset my password. After the last time, I manually edited the account listing in my password app. However, this ended up not helping, as the Mod app wouldn’t accept my password. After resetting my password, the Mod app STILL wouldn’t accept it, despite having been copied and pasted to avoid errors. The inconvenience of the app has definitely affected the frequency in which I visit the restaurant.

Needs a better process for toppings not available. When ordering pizzas with multiple toppings, occasionally the shop doesn’t have all the ingredients listed. It would be helpful if the items they’re out of don’t appear on the list as an option. Currently, when you go to check out, an error message spears saying “(topping) is not available”. You then have to go back to the order and remove the topping item yourself. If you like a lot of toppings, this can be laborious. Seems like this could be a quick fix and prevent frustration.

Issues with sign-in via Facebook. I have had intermittent issues in the past that were tied to app updates I believe. This seems to be the longest one though… Is anyone else having issues with signing in to their Mod account using their Facebook account? I keep getting error messages since last week stating the app is not accessible right now and that the developer is aware. Both Facebook and Mod are updated with latest versions. All of my history and rewards are tied to my account via Facebook. Is there a way to access without going through my Facebook? Will update my review once the error is fixed.

Out of ingredients every time. We can hardly ever reorder the same thing because each time the store is out of one or more items like onions or green peppers so we have to keep create creating new orders. What is even worse is that when we go into the store to pick up the order, we’ve seen the out-of-stock items in stock and behind the counter on more than one occasion. I really love the MOD concept and when my order is made the way I request, it’s wonderful. As you can see, I’ve ordered at least 100 times. Unfortunately, quality control is a MAJOR problem so this happens less than 50% of the time.

Gone downhill. The app used to work pretty well most the time. Lately, I’ve had trouble with just logging in on. Today, I had trouble logging in, but then it said that I could order pizza, so I tried to order pizza. That attempt failed with a message that there was some problem with the address. I could find no place where the app had an address so we decided to not order through the app. Later we came to find out that our credit card had in fact been charged. So now we have to deal with that. I think I’m going to stop using this app.

Issues with customization. This was my first time ordering with the app and I didn’t get a good first impression. I ordered the Dillon James but made a few customizations (I added pepperoni and the balsamic glaze). From the restaurant’s end, it looked like I ordered a pizza with only pepperoni and the balsamic glaze, so that’s how they made my pizza. Unfortunately it was delivered to me so there wasn’t much I could do. Also the app gave me an error when I tried redeeming a reward but it still charged my card. I had to submit my order again to get it to go through so I ended up getting double charged.

Great Service, Great Pizza. I wanted a place that had cauliflower crust and dairy free cheese and this place had it! Not all pizza places do so this is our go to place now! And, when they were extremely busy and their system was down, they still served everyone with great customer service without charging us!! We love the boss lady there as well, wish I knew her name because she tries really hard to make sure everyone is served and taken care of. Plus, the pizza is delicious!!!

Love Mod Pizza! Especially the Snoqualmie location.. Super happy to have Mod here in Snoqualmie Ridge. You can always count on fast service, tasty pizza and a great value. The app makes ordering super simple and works excellent. Mod automatically calculate my rewards and they are waiting for me in the app. The people are super friendly and seem to really love their job, which makes it a pleasure to visit this location. If you are trying to avoid gluten, be sure to try their Cauliflower Crust.

Much better. The Mod app was pretty problematic before and I’ve messaged the company a few times when I’ve had issues with it. Recent update has cured a lot of my ails. It’s not quite as intuitive as I’d like and I’ve encountered a few buggy things, but I love that if I want to edit something now, it still keeps my previous selections so I’m just adjusting and not totally rebuilding the pizza. I also don’t get errors where I can’t generate an order from history or favorites anymore if something is out of stock. It’s still a little buggy here where the same item isn’t always recognized, but at least now it just omits the items with problems not the whole order. Building an order for a family of 6 is really tedious and time consuming if you’re starting from scratch every time. I don’t like how there’s some back and forth between food menu and app control menu and it’s cleared my order out on occasion when I’ve tried to adjust the location, but at least reordering from history works now so it’s not as big it a deal. Appreciate that the devs are listening to feedback and making it more user friendly. We love the pizza and love that it’s much cleaner ingredients than your standard chain pizza places.

App is frustrating. I like being able to order using the app but there are some issues that need to be fixed. When I try to use a gift card like a $20 one on a $50 order it never allows me to use the gift card to cover part of it. It always says cannot be used because it doesn’t cover the whole bill. It should take off the gift card balance and then let me pay the remainder with another method. The other thing is when I have an award and try to add it it never lets me and says it is not valid with that order. These issues should not happen and need to be fixed.

This app is such a pain. I love Mod Pizza and I hate this app. For not the first time, I was all set to order pizza tonight and the app is too much of a hassle to use. It also has no method to give feedback in the app, and it shows. I don’t think anyone who works on this app actually uses it. They would sell a lot more pizza if they made this app not such a pain to use. A few examples: no shopping cart tab to show what’s into your shopping cart. No way to favorite a store you’ve ordered from in the past so you don’t have to look it up every time, no way to look up current promotions (they send notifications but then there is no way to view them in the app). No way to save credit card info before you order the first time. I can’t describe how annoying this stupid app is. Just go in the store. The pizza is great, the employees are great, the app is the most annoying app I avoid using.

It works but difficult. I can order pizza, but it’s a pain. We are a large family and tend to have a reorder of 5 custom pizzas… but if you want to use a different store, or if just a single ingredient from a previous order is out this time, you have to start over from scratch. Not sure why it doesn’t just let you know about the difference and let you move forward. Also special instructions is limited to 40characters… if you are trying to ask for half/half pizza that is far from enough space to specify.

Revise Historic Order or Custom Item. Honestly I get frustrated so much sometime that I end up getting something else for dinner because I can take a previous order and modify it. Sometimes I want the same pizza, but modify a few items on the salad or pizza. Or maybe kids aren’t eating or wife isn’t eating so I want to take one specifically built kids pizza off or wife’s salad. Also within the same order, while ordering it would make the app so much better if you could clone an item in cart so you do to have to start from scratch for same pizza or salad but different size or same pizza but may different protein, same veggies. Trust me these changes would go a long way to enable more $$$ revenue by enabling more frictionless order customization and reuse.

Fix notification badges please. Notification badges are extremely annoying because they never go away, even after deleting everything from the “inbox”. I suggest anyone reading this to disable notifications for this app in Settings. This is an armature hour level of issue that just goes to show this org has no QA process or even ability to use the app they created.

Good Pizzas, Bad App. Mod pizzas are very nice since you can customize them exactly to your liking. This is what our family has done. However the App is almost always fails if you try to reorder. Trying to reorder everyone’s custom order, the App first gives a message that one of the item is missing (does not even mention which item on which pizza) and if I wish to continue. When I click continue, it just gives a message that none of the items are available. So I have to manually reorder all the custom pizzas. And low and behold the order works, all the items are available. As a result ordering custom pizzas becomes a lengthy process instead of just doing a reorder. Just because of this app behavior, I find myself ordering much less.

Order failed, but payment went through. First off, mod pizza itself is AWESOME. The employees are awesome and the food is awesome and the service is awesome. So I open the app for the first time to place an order. No problems there, actually one of the better ordering experiences. The problem was with paying for the order. First off, it’s impossible to type in the exportation date since you can’t type a / because the keyboard is a number pad. (For anyone else having this issue, copy and paste it in) but the big problem was when I hit the pay button. The app said “credit card declined invalid billing address,” but I immediately got a notification from Apple wallet that my card was charged the EXACT amount as my mod pizza order. So I go to the store annnnnd they didn’t get the order. Thankfully mod pizza employees are awesome and understood my situation and made the pizzas without charging me a second time. The app fails to accomplish its purpose, ordering pizza. Also they should just use Apple Pay, I’m sick and tired of having to give each restaurant app my credit card info each time I order since I don’t trust them to keep my credit card number secure.

Extras and Special Instructions Character Limit. When selecting “add more”, customers are not given the option to add less or extra of the items already on the pizzas and salads. The only option is to select items that are not already on the pizza. When given the opportunity to add special instructions, the character limit is only 40. This impairs the customers ability to inform the staff of the full quantity of extras they would like if they have multiple extras to add. For instance, say the customer is ordering a super shroom pizza. In the special instructions, they would like to request extra mushrooms, mozzarella, spinach and cheese. This request exceeds the 40 character limit, cutting the customer off and infringing on the customers ability to request extra cheese. It would be great if in the food customization screen, not the special instructions screen, there was a list of extras and the ability to select more or less of the items on the pizzas and salads. Example: if a customer wants extra cheese, they would have a choice between three options: light, regular or extra. It would also be great to increase the character limit on the special instructions screen. What if a customer has multiple food allergies? They might be unable to inform the staff of all of their allergies if they exceed the 40 character limit. Otherwise, the app is fine. I would like to add, the staff at the Happy Valley, Oregon location are wonderful. So extra kudos to them. 👍🏼

Awesome App & Food. Mod Pizza has always been a go to spot for me and my family when we don’t feel like cooking. The pizza is delicious as well as their sides such as No Name Cake and Cheesy Garlic Bread. We order all the time. One great part is they have Gluten Free Crust for lots who don’t eat gluten to enjoy. Only one time was there a mistake where somehow the delivery ended up blocks away but even then we eventually still got our pizza. Thank you Mod and all of their Amazing Staff! Keep making those awesome pizzas! 🍕❤️

Mostly good. I really enjoy my pizza and appreciate their customer service and them having an app, but there are a couple flaws. These don’t ruin it, definitely not, but they make it less user-friendly. Number one, you can’t use multiple gift cards. You have to enter in your order and then manually enter in all 30 digits of the gift card. It should work more like Starbucks where you can pool giftcards into one card and then just charge that one. Also, instead of having to manually enter in every ingredient, you can click order history and order one of the pizzas that you got before. But if one of the ingredients has changed or they don’t have it at a certain location, then you can’t just quickly add it or cut that ingredient from the list, you have to physically re-enter all the information to build your own pizza.

Lazy. Conroe store is lazy. I ordered my pizza on the app and didn’t have any issues. I unintentionally showed up 5 mins early based on the time app instructed me the pizza would be ready. I was asked to be helped at the online order pick up and come to find out they haven’t even started the order yet. Now, keep in mind I ordered the pizza ten minutes earlier (not like I ordered in the parking lot and then walked in the store looking to complain), there weren’t any other online orders to make, there was no one at the counter ordering in store, there was one person cooking the pizzas in the oven, and there were three others standing around goofing off. I get stuff happens but the person who originally asked to help me never said a word to me after locating my ticket seeing the order hadn’t been started. No “sorry we are getting on it now.” No “give us a bit and we’ll have it ready.” No further communication of any kind. Thankfully I don’t have to come to this location regularly as I was just passing through.

Good pizza, bad ordering experience. The pizza is good, but the app struggles. We order often, and always want the same thing but the “reorder” button either fails, or only adds half of the items, seemingly randomly. Half the named pizzas on the restaurant menu are missing, and toppings randomly disappear from the menu, even though the store tells me they have plenty in stock when I call them.

Fraudulent behavior. We bought 4 pizzas. They scanned my membership barcode. I had a screenshot of my points before the purchase. I would have been entitled to a free pizza. He didn’t mention it so I thought get it next time. The guy just took out my entire points! The receipt just showed we paid for all 4 pizzas so where did all my points go? Update- they added it back to my account.

Facebook Login not working. I have 141 points trapped in an account I can’t access. I have been trying for months to log back in through my original facebook login, but it gives me a message saying, “App not active: This app is not accessible right now and the app developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in when the app is reactivated.” I have even received emails offering bonus points to use my account, but I can’t access it. Even before this problem, I would get logged out every time I use it. Please fix the issue! I have lost out on many points because of this problem.

Terrible app and needs a lot of improvements. Several issues with the app and looks like they don’t do due diligence in testing their apps because some of these issues have been open for a while now. 1. Shows notifications even after I clear them/ read the messages. This is super annoying. 2. Face ID has to be turned on each and every time I logon instead of remembering the option. One time. 3. The app logs me out after a few days. Why can’t they let it be logged on unless I explicitly log out ?

Newest Version is awful. The newest version has so many issues. I am anal about being able to clear notifications and I can't with this one. It's showing I have notifications but nothing is there. Please fix it! Also it had kicked me out so I was forced to re-login but all of my favorites and my favorite store were gone. Only my point and card on file were the same. Which is almost scary to me that you can find a way to keep my card on file but every thing else was gone? What the heck? I liked the old version much better.

No Apple Pay, seriously?. Love the restaurant, hate the app. Doesn’t let you type in the full address so hotel locations end up as a mash of street, hotel name and room number which I’m sure your staff love to have to decipher. Once an order is sent, once you move off the status page there’s no obvious way to go back to the status. But worst of all, though, the app asks me to manually enter my card details which are already stored in my iPhone and could have been requested through the proper APIs, but why if the customer can do all the work again. And fittingly, there is also zero support for ApplePay. Was this procured as a high school project, or just sloppy work of a developer who doesn’t understand iOS? Because that’s a seriously low effort app unfitting for a great Pizza place.

More customization options needed.. I love MOD Pizza and love the fact that they have upped their vegan game by adding a vegan pizza to the menu the Willow Vegan! This app is pretty good but definitely needs some more detailed customization options. For example it would be lovely to select light or extra for a topping. Additionally on the restaurant side they should be able to provide customers with more information about their location. Due to the recent staffing shortages not only have hours changed but some days our local Mod Pizza, has in person orders only and other days online only but the app doesn’t make that clear.

Used to be great but it has a major problem. Before shortages this app was great. Let me start with this. We always order the same pizza when we use the app. It was so easy to order, all I would need to do is hit the re-order button and presto, pickup would be easy. However the app has one major flaw. You can’t edit a past order and if the location is out of just a single ingredient the entire order fails. Last week it was arugula. The week before it was basil. This week it’s chopped tomatoes. Why not give the customer the option to simply skip that ingredient and order the pizza with everything else on it? Seriously having to rebuild 2 pizzas from scratch? Seems like an easy fix. Please fix this!

The pizza is phenomenal, the app is buggy. Every single checkout attempt I get card declined, I delete and add card and confirm zip then it goes thru. I save card for future. Then in a couple weeks (okay days) I place another order, card I saved is declined so I “add” the exact same card and it works. I checked my bank to see if they got like an authorization attempt and nothing. It’s the app. I’m too addicted to the pizza though, so I suffer first world style. And that’s okay. The pizza is worth it.

Great updates but missing saved orders. I like the options available on this app for ordering visually, changing pick-up modes, applying promo codes and rewards, and saving payment options. It would earn five stars from me if it still included the “favorite orders” options from a previous iteration. My family is quite boring and we tend to order the same items each time. It’s such a nice time-saver to apply a favorite order as a base and then make changes as needed. Please consider bringing this back as an option in a future update. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to order MOD and knows what they want. Such a pleasure to order in advance with a few taps, pay for it, earn rewards, and then walk past the line to pick up our pizzas on a Friday evening.

MOD APP 2.0 👎🏼. If I could give this zero stars I would ...I don’t I even know where to start. While using the app it looks like it belongs to the very first iPhone produced, its elementary, basic and it doesn’t even fill the whole iPhone screen like 1.0. I can no longer create a favorite pizza to save on file so now I have to build the pizza each time. I can no longer view my order history and there is an annoying notification bubble but no message and no notification. I did verify that 2.0 is compatible with my iOS currently on my phone and it is...I have also deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing changed. Something is terribly wrong and it needs to be fixed STAT!!

My review. Burlington is amazing. Never had a bad experience, have been going there since they opened. I sometimes can’t access my history when ordering online, which is a bummer, especially when I am driving. Anacortes is another story. I live in Anacortes and was so excited when they opened. Unfortunately, I try to avoid that store because there is 0 modness. Not friendly, they are 4/4 screwing up my online order. I feel like I am putting them out when I order something and they look like they would rather be anyplace but there. Manager is not professional, even in the relaxed mod way. She does not want to do the best she can to make the customers experience good, she passes that down to the people who work for her.

Rewards?????. Got a message, 75 bonus points to order pizza, salad, and no name cake. Wife wanted a salad and I always get no names so this was a no brainer. Put 3 pizzas, a salad, and 3 cakes in cart. Hit pay for order and got a message saying the no name cakes (in my cart) we’re not available. So couldn’t get the dessert we love and got screwed out of 75 points at the same time. Next time don’t bother with the special offer, they are worthless if you can’t use it and it causes us to not be able to get a complete order…

Not accurate with store timeline. This app is great - easy to use, pick toppings make favorites, order BUT (and this is a big BUT) this app doesn’t predict anything about how long your wait is. I arrive late regularly to my pick up time- tonight it wasn’t even close. Over 30 minutes past the pick up time. The expediter is telling us each time we walk up “We are about 30 minutes behind” - why can’t the app update to that instead of not really being convenient at all for speedy pick up.

Save Individual Pizza Favorites. We love Mod Pizza, but attempting to utilize previous orders is frustrating. If ordering more than one item, it would help to save each pizza or salad as a separate “favorite”. This would make re-ordering much easier. As it is, I have to find a previous order that closely matches what everyone wants, then add or delete missing items. All that and if that order was at a different store, you can’t change the store after adding items. Finally, if an item on a previous order is discontinued, the app won’t let you remove or modify that one item, but instead the whole order is rejected.

You Broke the App!. My family and I eat at Mod every week, same location. Love the pizza, love the team at our location. I loved this app until the latest major rebuild. I use the favorites and re-order function all the time and it worked really well until a couple months ago. Now the app makes me log in most of the time. And when I use favorites OR re-order it only enters one of the pizzas. I order for a family of four. Which means I need to enter all pizzas but the one that transfers over. MOD the App for easier use. It would be nice if I could choose an order from my order history and edit the order. I tried to reorder something that I had last time, and because the shop ran out of basil, I couldn’t use that order. So I had to create a whole new pizza the same except without basil. I think you could MOD the app to make it easy to change. That’d be way cool

Good but not as intrigue as in-person.. This app makes finding your favorites easier than ever. But I find it lacking in specific areas like asking for extras or lesser amounts. Easy fix to not absolutely ridiculous Aline per order is to limit “Extra” toppings in the app to 5 or 6 options. I also don’t understand why the tip option is there? They aren’t cleaning up after us or waiting on us, so what’s the tip paying for? I just tipped so that they make our food with care out of fear of otherwise.

Allow to make changes to reorder and clarify selections. If I select to reorder a recent order and something is no longer available I can’t modify the order, I have to start from scratch. Can the functionality to make changes to the order be added? Is there any reason why it’s allowed to make selections like both, a sauce and “no sauce”? I can’t think of a situation where that make sense unless maybe it’s for part of the pizza. As of right now that just creates confusion.

App Needs Work. Employees at Mod can’t see special instructions. My orders are wrong 50% of the time. Also, there is no way to cancel an order through the app. ***UPDATE**** This app is still garbage. I just tried to pay for my order partially with my remainder gift card balance. Because this app was designed by app flunkies, i could not pay a split bill. Also, my orders are still wrong 50% of the time. The other day, I watched employee leave pie spatula under the pizza while it cooked. It caused crust to stick to spatula, eventually breaking crust apart. Getting tired of tipping for employee incompetence, but that seems to be the Mod Pizza norm.

Pretty good, but could use some additional features. App UI is pretty easy to navigate, especially when ordering food. Also, having access to my rewards and being able to add rewards to my account by scanning my receipt is great. However, there are two things I’ve come across that I wish was implemented in this app. First, it would be great to have the ability to add and store gift card credit on my account in the app. Then, when I go to pay for an order, I can use what’s left on my gift card first and then move to another payment. To further explain, my issue was my gift card couldn’t cover the entire cost of my order. This in turn prevented me from using my gift card to pay for my order in the app, so I’ll have to wait until I go into a store or make my order total in the app be less than the value of my gift card. Second, when I select “reorder” from my order history, I would like the ability to easily change what store I am sending my order to on the resulting page. Right now, it seems to default to the last place you made the original order from and it won’t let you change it.

Buda, TX location. Do not order delivery from this location. Three times in a row that they have left the drinks off the order. So I end up paying $33 for one pizza to be delivered with no drinks, heavy delivery charge AND the employees are getting so laxed that they don’t bother to cut the pizzas all the way. This pizza has one cut down the middle and I had to cut the rest myself. Maybe dine-in is better because you can make sure you get all your stuff, but shame on me for continuing to order here. That was the last dime they will see from me.

Great service. I went to goggle last week to order but couldn’t pay, had to order when I went to pick up my order. The manager said there has been a problem with goggle and suggested to us their app. He even gave my 10% off my order for the inconvenience

Best ever for the price. Man I would pay what other big chain pizza joints would charge for a MoDs before I ever eat swill like dominoes or Pizza Hut again. So many toppings, so good. Heck Pizza Hut or dominoes would charge more for the toppings than you pay for an entire pizza with unlimited toppings at MODs. About to devour a tasty MoDS, just thinking of dominoes or little Caesar’s makes me loose my appetite. Love you guys

Eric is the pizza king!. Just had an awesome experience with Eric from the time I walked in to the time I left. He made me feel so welcomed and talked to me the entire time he magnificently pieced together my pizza. Claudia was also great and cooked my pizza to perfection. I’ll be sure to revisit this location again even though it’s out of the way of my local spot! Would give it a 10/5 if I could!

Deer Park Store. Love those folks at Deer Park! Always very kind and courteous! Very clean pizza place too 👍🏼Great way to have a cheat day per-say as everything is fresh and my families fav is cauliflower crust! You say extra meat/cheese/toppings is they give ya just what ya ask for lol! Add favorites. Hey save favorites feature. And if you already do, make it easy to find. I use this app a lot, and it would be nice to be able to re-order the same thing over and over again. Maybe I missed something but it just seems like it’s changed and you know longer have that feature. Thanks

Intuitive. In general I’m not fond of using apps to order. I find that it takes MUCH longer than just going to the drive thru. As an older adult I appreciate the simple ordering system. And the meal is always worth it. Can’t beat the friendly and courteous service at pickup. Thank you!

Using Mod App. Generally easy to use unless you want to modify or cancel and start over.I wanted to modify my order but when I called the shop I ordered it from they were unable to make any changes to the order or so they said. They were able to cancel the original order, I hope, and then I re-ordered the way I wanted it.

More ranch!!. I absolutely adore your pizza, it’s delicious and I can’t get enough of it but when I order online the option for ranch on the side ( or even extra ranch ) isn’t available, even when I put it in the special directions box i never receive it so if it’s not to much of a an issue please add an option, i’m willing to pay extra! …..mod you are my villain origin story, I cannot devour an entire pizza without my ranch. The creaminess and the slight sweetness to it makes my mouth water, but without it I am nothing, so watch your back.

Very cumbersome interface. Can’t change type of pizza without losing all your other custom details. Impossible to update credit card info and if you add new card to update exp date you end up with two cards that have the same name based upon last 4 digits. Pick wrong one and it’s “oops - something went wrong” tried to order for 10 minutes with repeated errors and gave up. Love the pizzas - hate the app

Wonderful app. Great app with awesome deals. Makes the ordering process absolutely smooth. Nice way to keep track of orders and get offers. It’s been a wonderful experience to use the app! Would highly recommend others to order through it as well!

Update is awful. App was previously very easy to use. I would place the same order every time, so I would just select re order or select my favorite. Now need to re-enter the order every time, which is tedious for multiple create your own pizza orders. I will not use the app anymore and instead use the desktop site.

Frustration with payment options!. Have multiple gift cards but unable to use them unless they cover the FULL total price. Very frustrating. Even if I could only use one gift card at a time, it would’ve have been nice to have the $15 off my order. And then pay the rest with my VISA. The only other option was to order each pizza for my family separately. This seems ridiculous since I’m having them.

Needs more time in the oven. This app has been terrible since the latest redesign. The previous version was fairly bare-bones, but at least it worked. This new version is riddled with bugs and basic experiences are completely broken. Most annoyingly, the app forgets my password CONSTANTLY. I feel like I’m logging in almost everyday. To make things worse, they block pasting in the password box, which is incredibly frustrating for anyone who uses a password manager. The app also doesn’t invalidate notifications properly. No matter what you do in the app, it’s impossible to clear the badge count. Every notification increases the count forever, so I just resorted to turning off the badge for the app. Just use the website until they actual test and fix this app; it’s garbage right now.

So many issues that I won’t use the app. 1. Couldn’t get my coupon to work. Tried changing pizza sizes to see if that was the issue. Every time you change the size, it deletes all the toppings so that you have to start all over. Got so annoyed that I ended up paying full price even though the coupon was the only reason we were going. 2. Don’t have the option to put toppings on half of the pizza. Has a special comment section but is very limited to how much you can type.

Please Allow Unsave Of Payment Method. The app works as expected, and is convenient for me to use. I haven’t experienced any issues so far. However, there is no option to remove a saved payment method. I do not want my payment method to be saved on the app in case someone gets my phone and starts placing an order without me knowing. Please fix this by adding an option to remove a saved payment option.

MOD. Love the pizza , so many options to customize order without paying more. Also love that there are so many options for people with food allergies since there are family members with these issues. Great family friendly place to eat. Customer service has been great at every MOD I have been to.

Saves time waiting at the store. Very helpful to put in an order ahead of time and pick it up. Unfortunately the App doesn’t appear you can delete a credit card from your payments and I’ve had a few frustrating moments trying to sort that out.

More options needed. I would like to have more options available to specify that I want basil on the pizza before baking, but also basil added after baking; or if I want to put some topping only on a half of the pizza. As I also learned, some stores put as little as possible of the chosen topping and for that particular stores (or because of that particular store), i would love to see “extra” options too

Lost data. Was never happy that my IPad & iPhone apps didn’t sync. Someday I new it would be a problem and that someday is here. The new app only retained points from the iPad. The iPhone points are still active on an account that i can no longer access. The only upside to this is now that It’s safer to go in the restaurant to order I don’t have to use this silly app. For the record, I thought the old app was great (except for the sync issue). Super easy to order. Super easy to see which locations were open.

Convenient. Love this app. I can order from the convenience of my home selecting the toppings I want, there’s even a section for special instructions. I can order anytime then select the actual time I would like to pick up my order. The pizza always tastes great and I can conveniently have it delivered to my car.

Nice for fast ordering, 1 update request please. Once you add something to your cart, it is difficult to remove completely. Maybe it’s easy but not intuitive? But I had to finally sign out and back in again to restart the order from scratch.

PLEASE fix Reorder, Please stop wasting our time. If 1 item on a previous order happens to not be available at a particular store you cannot reorder the entire rest of the order minus the 1 topping not available. This means you have to rebuild your ENTIRE order from scratch is is a huge waste of them. This is increasingly happening to me more and more and is infuriating. Please consider prioritizing fixing this.

Wow!. This location is the best!! The team remembered my order after only 2 visits. I am new to the area, and stopped by for lunch. The staff is so friendly and the ingredients are fresh! I love the wine selection to accompany my pizza. The establishment is clean and the food is great! Cooked to perfection! Make sure to download the App to get your points. I will definitely be back with my husband and kiddos.

Pretty good app, just keeps logging me out. I like the ease of ordering. I do wish they had the scanner as an immediate option at the bottom. I don’t have too much feedback for it, but I do think they should have it as an animation and you can see what toppings you want on your pizza as you select them.

Liked by an Italian. This pizza is very enjoyable and the ingredients and good. You can make it loaded or not, I prefer keep it simple like the Italian pizza is. Thin crust and crunchy, maybe too crunchy, but the dough has a good flavor and also easy to digest. Keep the price low and I’m gonna be a customer forever (when I’m not going to bake my own pizza at home ;) ciao

Dual method of payment. I was given a gift card. My total bill was slightly over the gift card balance and the app would not let me apply the gift card and use a credit card to pay the difference. I was told that the order total had to be less than the value of the gift card in order to use it.

Mod pizza is awesome; app needs tweaks. Here are my recommendations for making the app perfect: - for special instructions, allow more than 40 characters. I wanted to add pineapple to both and light cheese on one but there wasn’t enough space! - where is the pineapple option? - I also wanted to order the no name cake but couldn’t... without these abilities, the app doesn’t help me. I either have to go without those things or not bother to use the app.

No order history 😟. This app has changed more frequently than the weather. We have custom pizzas that we have saved from prior orders and you used to be able to pull up your order history and reorder. Unfortunately, every time they change this app, the order history is lost and we have to start all over from scratch. Now there is no order history feature. They are lucky that we really like their pizza, or we would have been long gone as customers.

Reorder through history broken. The app used to work well before the latest release. As another rebuy has stated, using the reorder feature only adds one item which makes reordering from history completely useless.

Why can’t I use the app in store?. It is extremely inconvenient to use earned rewards. Why is there no barcode to apply rewards at the register? I want to place my order in store and use my rewards without having to order in app. Thanks.

No Apple Pay, IPhone App in 2023…. I know it probably so you can save a few cents on a transaction but you don’t accept Apple Pay. So instead of ordering I chose not to order because I, like millions of others don’t want to have to go through entering all my details. So instead of losing a few cents you lost a whole sale. Wonder how many times that happens everyday. I willing to bet the lost sales would make up for the small transaction fees.

Pizza is great, app needs some upgrades. Why can’t we check the status of our order? Or why doesn’t it tell us if someone is bringing it to us or let us view details of the order? Also extra or less should be options as well as on the side. But seriously most important is being able to see how long the it is til pizza is done. I didn’t even get eta of time to be done…

Love the restaurant hate the app. My family and I love MOD pizza! It’s one of our favorite places to go. Can’t beat the fresh ingredients, artisan style crust, delicious drinks and it’s well priced. The app on the other hand is awful! It kicks me out and makes me sign in every time. Every time I have to re-do my password because it doesn’t recognize it, even thought it’s the same password I always use on this app. Then I have to go through the registration process all over Re authenticating my e-mail and so on. Finally I get back in and all of my points are gone. Super frustrating!

App Error!. When I open the app on my iPhone 11 Pro Max now I get this message on a blank screen: “Something went wrong An unknown error occurred.” Any suggestions? It works on my iPad and they both have the same iOS 14.6. The new version worked last week on my phone, but not now. I turned off my phone and back on, but that didn’t help. It show 4 notifications on the app even though I have opened the app on my iPad and read them. What has happened and please tell me it is being fixed. Or am I the only one that had it work last week and not now?

Highly satisfied customer. Thank you to the people who made this Mod happen. Close distance to home and friendly service every time I step through the door. Oh yeah, and the pizza is always on point🔥 all credit to those hard workers that put a smile on my face with each encounter!

Bring back the old app. New app is glitchy, clunky, won’t let you stay signed in, won’t clear notifications, lost my favorite orders, etc. Anyone who is giving the new app 5 stars is either a paid reviewer or has not used the previous app which had a couple of faults but was far more reliable.

Pizza is good, app needs improvement. 1. App doesn’t show an option to update payment information in account settings. That’s a first. I had to provide new card info when placing order and even then, it fails if I try to save card info. Works otherwise. 2. No option to opt out of promo emails

Rewards nice if you can use them. Hate that I have to log in every time—was in line and couldn’t log in on time but was told I could scan my barcode at a later time to get my reward points. Was not told I had to do it within a timeframe. Saved my receipt and when I got to it the App said the scanner wasn’t working. When I sat down to enter the barcode numbers manually it said too much time had gone by so no rewards I should not have to log into an app every time. The scanner should work. Points should not expire in ten days.

Cancer journey. The team at this location is amazing. During my first round of cancer this was the only thing I enjoyed eating. They were concerned about my health and went out of their way to help. They cheered me on and celebrated my last radiation treatment with me. After a year and a half it came back much worse. I go here whenever I can and it feels like home.

I thought people were just being babies. I thought people were exaggerating on how bad the app is. First time launching I cannot enroll into an account and then it doesn’t let me scroll down. I think it’s weird so I try to place an order as a guest and I can’t do that either. This app is formatted for an IPhone 4 with no buttons to exit the keyboard so you cannot scroll down. I haven’t written a review in years since I was a little kid but by a company this large this is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen and I had to write this out of anger

Love Mod but always out of items. Come in, if you’re gonna sell the pizza; you’ve got to have the salami and broccoli and cauliflower for the salad and all the lettuce types and real sausage (not only chicken or plant based). Your phone ordering system was really good until I tried to order the Greek Herb & Tahini dressing. She would repeat it as one of the most popular dressings but not understand me when I said it. Maybe you should give her numbers to assign to the dressings in case she can’t understand you.

Wish I’d never updated. This new app is NOT user-friendly and SUPER glitchy. Even when my FaceID “logs in,” I end up having to log in at least 1-2 more times before I actually get logged in. The menu navigation is annoying and the last one was way better. Plus, even after I’ve read and deleted my inbox messages, the notification indicator will NOT GO AWAY! This makes me want to completely delete the app. I have OCD tendencies and the fact that I can’t clear my notifications annoys me a significant amount. Please switch it back or actually FIX this one.

Need bug fixes. I couldn’t use my reward points for my order. Said it wasn’t valid for the order but didn’t say why. Also, when trying to add card the app doesn’t use the standard autofill native to iOS so I tried using the camera from my iPhone 15 Pro but it wouldn’t focus on the card. I had to enter the card info manually. This all seems minor but the expectation is for these apps to have a good user experience and this one was clunky.

App improvement, suggestions. I think the app would be greatly improved by adding the half function, so onions on half for example or half onion, half pepperoni, something like that would be ideal. Also, being able to split out prior orders and just order one pizza that has been ordered in the past, would also be very helpful

Worst app provider yet!. Ok guys, I’ve done all the updates as required. Each time it’s forgotten my password, then I have to go thru password reset. The first app I could save my favorite to make it easy, that’s gone. With each update I lose my points too. Waste of time, the goal with an app is to make it easier, reward frequent clients, this app just added more time to my day. Adios MOD!

God help you if you want to reorder a past pizza. If any item of your past order is not available (e.g. "Fountain Drink - PICKUP ONLY" gets replaced with "Fountain Drink"), you're completely unable to add the pizza of your order to your cart. The entire order workflow is so clunky and straight-line. Instead of being a cart based system, it's entirely linear... Heaven help you if you ever want to pull up a past CUSTOM PIZZA! Nope, have to meticulously recreate it... because if that FOUNTAIN DRINK item isn't available, it doesn't allow you to add the PIZZA to your order again.

Customer payment options limited. This app is fine for ordering pizza. Want to change your payment info outside of the order process? (Meaning update which cards are stored on file, erasing cards already on file): You can’t. Want to send feedback on the app? You can’t. Need support? None. No options. Not letting customers have granular control over their own payment info from within the app is just garbage design at best, and blatantly manipulative at worst. Do better. Overhaul the payment options entirely such that a customer can decide from within the app (not while ordering) what cards to store, what to delete, delete all cards, etc. This isn’t YOUR card information, and you should be absolutely transparent about why you don’t let customers have granular control over their own info. Super shady design choices.

Good, Fresh, Fast and usually with a smile. This is my go to place to get quick bite…the salads are fresh and the Pizza is just the way you want it….can’t blame the pizza maker when my topping choices don’t really jive. Occasionally the thin crust ends are crispier than I like, but it’s still an excellent option.

Generally good app. You need to add the ability for customer feedback in your app. Currently you can only leave a review here. You need a message send feature. I second the comment that someone made regarding the ability in the order app to request more of specific ingredients. For example double pepperoni or double Italian sausage
