Outage information. App gives vague information about the status of outages. Been without power for 10 days but for 6 of those been getting same messages that the status is ‘in progress’. I would like specific details like ‘will be working on your address outage on 10/9. Also would like a toll free number to the power company that the app is used for. Good app for seeing kw used and billing information.

FPL Saved the Day. I live in an apartment complex, been here around 11 months. Come to find out through a shut off of power to another apt i have been paying for the wrong meter read. This mistake was made by the previous Power Company construction installation. FPL quickly reviewed my situation, corrected the problem and saw that my usage was slightly higher than what was paid. FPL decided not to back charge the difference due to the unusual situation. Thank you FPL for great “Customer Service”. Especially thanks to the three customer service representatives that helped me: Kashayla, Rhonda and Mike.

Wish every App worked like this. This App is very well designed. The information is concise, easy to find, easy to visualize. Very obvious when you do things that increase or decrease your power bill, as you can track daily usage, and very easy to tell when there isn’t much you can do about it, as the usage tracks with outside temp. It’s clear that our A/C is the biggest draw. Great tool for customers.

It won’t update my email or payment information.. I am in desperate need to change my email and update it, it will not let me. I changed it the other day through the app, then it tells me that the one I changed it too and trying to use is wrong. Along with my new password that was even saved into the phone. Very annoying to say the least. You cannot pay over the phone easily either. This has been so time consuming. Have been working to fix this for days. Wanted to change the payment information and it won’t let me!

FPL SMART meters allowed to remain unreadable. I pay my bill every month online when I get a notice. I just realized FPL has been estimating my bill for the last six months because the meter is broken. I noticed this when I had an unusually high jump from one month to the next and looked at my bill and detailed and realize they were estimating my bill because they couldn’t read my meter. I called FPL, and they acknowledge this, but not the fact that they never gave me. Adequate notice and they never made an effort to fix it. Instead, they’re estimating my bill and advised me that well it could be lower when they get around to fixing my meter. It also could be higher. If they haven’t been able to read my meter for six months and how are how are they ever going to adequately charge me for the past six months. What’s the excuse for not fixing a meter FPL knew was broken?

Vero beach utilities. Thank God FPL Purchased our lousy electric company located here in Vero Beach. It’s the greatest thing that ever happened to us. I sat and waited year after year and could not wait until FPL Agreed on a contract. You have a classy company. Your online service is outstanding. The extra extra amenities that you offer is just really good. When Vero Beach utilities operated here in Vero, they had no website. It was absolutely ridiculous. I actually look forward to seeing my bill because I know that you’re not ripping me off. There was 10 trucks from FPL a year ago in Vero Beach at a Winn-Dixie. They were getting ready for a big storm. You also had about 40Pieces of equipment at the Humane Society parking lot on Route 60. I was super impressed to see all the vehicles prepared for the storm. I never once seen that with Vero Beach utilities. Thank you so much you guys are amazing.

Report features. The charts provided with the option to filter by day, or hour is great! I would also like to be able to download this data, in a csv or excel file, by day and hour over a time period such as last six months or last year(s) so that I can analyze it for business purposes (I.e. for a vacation rental). I don’t see an option to download any data from the app, can this be made available?

To FPL review disappointing. I’d normally rate higher but with virus. Bank been closed. I’m disabled and use debit card for SS. I guess you don’t like that. I had cash, sent person to bank, which was closed. If you would take a SS debut car I could easily set up regular payments. So now bank wants $36 you want $30 and $5. All because of virus. Not friendly way to take patrons of 50 years. Disappointing, you don’t care because it’s monopoly. To be fare you should refund that money. Pnc bank closed I can’t go out. I had my payment to you on time. Always same date. This extra money comes from medicine, thanks for your kindness of disabled. NOT!

One of the most worthless apps ever!. Why would I use a power company app? To pay a bill, report an outage, to check the weather. So far, I have not been able to pay a bill with this app, reporting an outage was difficult, and it’s a poor place to check the weather and how widespread power outages are. It’s such a dumb app, that it doesn’t know my address after logging in, it doesn’t know my county after providing my address, And when I try to check on outages in my neighborhood it shows me a count of outages in the entire county. After some effort, I was able to report the outage at my home, but the response is that due to the storm they can’t give me an estimate on when the power may return. It really is useless, and I don’t even know why I have it on my phone. I gave it two stars figuring that maybe I can pay a bill with it, but since I do direct billing, I don’t really need it for that either.

Great app. Very accurate. You can view estimated bill throughout the month, lets me know what I can do to bring my bill down if it’s too high, gives you the option of paying monthly bill on the app which I like very much so I dnt over draft. Most places would just take monthly payments out of my account without asking first. Fpl app actually waits for u to give consent to make payment from card. Send email to confirm payments.

Moving/ restore power. FPL far exceeds my expectations as far as making things easy. Moving was a breeze the power was on when they said it would be. Power outages FPL is on top of things they restore power quickly and efficiently I just can’t say enough about FPL and how fantastic the people at FPL are there are the best and I’ve had several power companies for service my hat is off to the people who work to keep our power on 24/7 thanks to all.

I just moved. Moving is very stressful on anyone. So much to remember and take into consideration, but FP&L really made my transition so easy when it came to having my electric changed over. Here I thought I’d have to make a special trip down to their office to make all the arrangements, I was really dreading that on top of all my other piles of things to do list. I called them up and with that one simple call, they took care of everything and changed the power over into my name that same day. Thanks, FP&L for making my life much easier.

Puzzling aspect about the FPL app. Really enjoy the FPL app and hope FPL will keep and possibly expand its features. The puzzling aspect about the app is that I use it daily and, about every third or fourth time I use it the app, it opens but the display is totally blurred and unreadable. It remains blurred with repeated close and opens until I reboot my iPad or iPhone. I do not know if other users of the FPL app have similar experiences with the app. New features: It would be great if FPL could expand the app to include optional notifications sent to users for things such as daily power usage exceeding some user designated thresholds.

Very Helpful App - Complete Info & Mngt. This app has many cool feature, providing useful account information including a daily use and bill forecast feature. Of course payment, account management, and payment options are available, with interesting information on a host other items as well. One click bill pay right on home screen, couldnt be easier. Home-Run utility app.

Disrespectful costumer service experience. I had to call 5 times to finally get the power in my new apartment. It was my first time ever using this service and the lack of communication with all the different employees was tremendous. At first I had to pay the deposit which every other person that I now told me they never had to pay that before and even the internet says that there are some ways to avoid paying it, they didn’t want to help me with that. They never send me the email address were I was supposed to send my ID. Then I called back and they told me we will reply back saying that they recieved it and it will take from few minutes to 4 hours to get the power. Never recieved no email; waited 4 hours and no power, called again saying that I had food on the fridge and I needed the power right now!! But the guy told me again that it will be from few min to 4 hours… after 4 hours from previous call. The guy even told me that I wasn’t listening. And finally got the power, but now I see a new charge of 9 dollars on the account that wasn’t there before. It’s just awful that after paying over 100$ I had to go through all this to get the light. Shame on you FPL!!!

Good at Staying in Touch. I am in Northern FL (Flagler Cy) and even though we lost power at 4 am on Sept 29 and are still waiting for restoration (3 pm on Sept 30), FPL has stayed in touch with updates and estimates re return of service. It helps to know what to expect. As a senior who lives alone in a 3B/2B house, I especially appreciate the relevant videos on what steps I need to take with my electric controls. When power returns I will know what to do to reset my breakers without having to pay a handyman. I also appreciate the clarity of the monthly billing statements and the ability to estimate monthly usage and cost in advance.

Great App and Service!💯. I love this app from Florida Power and Light! It provides all the needed information you need to know about how much energy you use as well as what it’s costing you. The graphs, account set up and payment options could not be easier. Florida Power and Light is one of the best utility service providers I’ve have ever used. Great work by a very professional team! 👍🏻🇺🇸

Very good to control your energy spending.. While trying to figure out my energy cost. I find out that APL app has tools to help including a graph that sow your energy use monthly or daily. I figured that while away from home with the Airconditioning off My energy cost is $1.28 per day. That is $40 a month for everything that still connected that I don’t use. Now I know and will try to disconnect unnecessary devices.

Love it!. I have always lived in “all inclusive” apartments before, so when I moved in June it was the first time I ever paid for my own utilities. I was very happy with how easy it was to get my power set up and going, and now I can check and monitor my account at any time! Love that! I REALLY love the “usage” tab where I can see how much power I’m using, the average price per day I’m using for that bill cycle, and the projected bill for the month! Thanks for making all these things so easy for us!

Information available. Having the chart of the energy usage available on the statement is great ! It’s easy to follow and helps me see how much energy I’ve used so far on this statement compared to what I’ve used in the past months. I love it, it teaches me to pay closer attention to managing my energy usage. I’m glad it’s available, I don’t have to call customer service for answers. Truly it’s an outstanding way for customers to save money.

Pretty good app but no support. I generally like it. Currently have an issue where energy usage doesn’t show up for one of my accounts and I can’t seem to find any way to contact support about it. So for that, I have to take at least one star off. The “support” they offer is just an automated system that you submit a question to. If the answer you get back does t help, you’re stuck at a dead end - no way to speak to anyone via email or phone or even open a service request.

Problem with using app due to FPL not doing their job. I’ve been using this app for 51/2 years. It normally works well but the usage feature stopped working last month. That feature shows usage plus projected bill which I need for monitoring problems and budgeting. That stopped working so I tried calling FPL. They are very difficult to get through to other than automated which is no help with this problem. I was told a month ago that they were having problems reading our meter which is apparently done electronically, and that it would be resolved soon. A month later the meter still hasn’t been read so I still don’t have the usage feature. How about sending out a technician to read it? I miss the days when you could go to an office to get problems resolved. The app is good when it works. If there’s a problem it’s hard to get FPL on the phone and even then the problem doesn’t get resolved. FPL in general seems to be a good company but customer service gets a D-.

Lack of Tree Maintenance from FPL. It is a travesty that with 25 to 30 miles per hour wind around 70 houses then 60 houses and then 2 houses including mine be without power Since 11:00 SM on Thursday January 25, 2018 till 10:18AM on Friday January 26, 2018. I know that home owners are expected to Trim the trees on each property but since Hurricane Irma in September last year when we were for the same reason without power for 2 weeks it is hard to believe that the blame is on homeowners instead of FPL. Nothing has been done in replacing “old lines” and faulty transformers. FPL should do a review and survey of all of the Edgewood neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale and fix everything that needs to be fixed once and for all. Thank you

Mrs S.. I have been charged for surge protection and found out a week ago that I did not have the surge protection. I moved to Florida and had no idea that there was a device FPL put on your meter when you purchased the surge protection. A FPL salesman came to my door asking if I would like to purchase it. I explained that I already had it and he said, no mam, you do not. I showed him my bill to prove I was being charged and he advised to call FPL and let them know of this. I called FPL and spoke with the surge protection department and asked for a manager and was advised they could not do that. The woman I spoke with said she would send an email to a supervisor to call me back and no one has attempted to call me. They did send a technician to my home to hurry up and install the device. I have paid for the surge protection for 3 1/2 years and would like to be reimbursed the money I paid for something I did not have. FPL is wanting their monthly payment when money is due to me. I’m just a senior citizen who feels taken advantage of.

Easy navigation, easy tracking of energy use. I’m new to Florida, therefore a new customer. Since creating my login and credentials in July, I’ve enjoyed both the dashboard, the easy payment options, and the educational references in the FPL app. The notifications are relevant and timely, and the app opens without any issues. I’m able to complete most tasks within minutes.

Bug made app not very useful for me.. I needed this app to see payment history. But there could be a bug on Main page. And I have not been able to figure out a way to contact anybody to report this. Problem is on main page. There is a link at the very bottom that is visible only when you push the page up on iOS iPhone 12, max. It’s only visible in motion, and cannot be tapped. The link slides back down. Any remedy for this would be greatly appreciated. Even an alternative from menu and let me see payment history Aside from that app seems OK.

Highway Robbery. It’s sad to see the FPL is taken advantage of THEIR customers. They try to explain away the increases in price to have it doubled and sometimes tripled has nothing to do with weather. It’s even more sad that the county has allowed this to take place that the organization that is supposed to be monitoring organizations to prevent fraud seems to be turning the other way. It’s very sad that this company has made excuses with Covid weather and anything else they could grasp on to to excuse their steep prices that are causing people to not use heat and air at all which will eventually cause health problems as well as deterioration of the home etc. I feel very sorry for them that they can’t see how they are hurting the community or maybe they do and just don’t care it’s business as usual. 😢

I love it!!. We spent our first summer in a new house last year and we got hit with an extremely large bill that was so unexpected that it through us all off. After that I downloaded the app and I check it daily. I know when to budget and how much every month and in the summer I can see the projected bill and make adjustments so I’m not paying HUNDREDS of dollars a month. I’m hooked on this app and I definitely recommend it!

User Friendly. Simple yet functional app. I like that you can login with “face recognition” for quick access. As soon as I’m logged in, I am able to view my current bill details; I don’t have to go clicking around the app trying to see what I currently owe. I can easily select “view bill” or “pay bill.” I am literally in the app less 60 seconds and my bill is paid!

Fpl Saved The Day. It’s 11pm now and we had a power outage our power box blew and the tree next to it caught on fire we thought we were going to be stuck all night with no power but who would have known a woman driving in her Fpl truck came to save us not even a hour after the incident occurred. So thanks Fpl and thanks to the super woman who saved us from being powerless all night. She rocks!!!!!! Woman power that’s what I love to see. She deserves a raise Fpl hint hint. Hard worker deserves a higher pay.

Please stop telling me my session has timed out!!. Overall, the app is great and easy to use. My one gripe (albeit a minor issue), is super annoying….About 10 minutes after you have finished using the app you get a notification that your session has timed out due to inactivity. This is useless information, and definitely not worthy of interrupting people for. I am completely aware that I’ve stopped using the app. If you really feel compelled to tell me about this, why not have a little label that says so when I return to the app instead, so I know why I have to log back in? Personally, I think the message is pointless and wholly unnecessary. It’s otherwise a great app, I just can’t imagine why the developer would feel this notification is necessary.

HORRIBLE. Honestly there’s no way for me to have a different company but FPL is the absolute worse !! I made two payments in the same 30 min (because I didn’t have enough and was waiting for my significant other to send me the rest) and I paid by bank account. Apparently as long as my routing number was good the payment will process even tho your acc. Number is incorrect and it won’t let you know until 4 business days later. So now I got charged two decline fees at the same time and banned for a year from using the pay by bank account option. I’m FURIOUS they took off one of the fees but left the last one. When they happened in the same moment due to the same system letting it go through!!!!!

LONG Power outages ALL the time!. NO STORM NEEDED AT THIS ADDRESS! You simply wake up in the middle of the night and you have no power until the next day at noon or later with no explanations! First they say it’s underground! Then they say it’s a transformer… That might need to be replaced! We pay for a full-time service! Not an intermediate service! And just because we don’t get charged when we don’t have electricity is no excuse! We should get a credit for the inconvenience when we do not get our proper service! Unless, of course, there are storms or other uncontrollable issues! This has been an issue for YEARS AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT SO IT SIMPLY CONTINUES TO GET WORSE!!!! Get it TOGETHER FPL!!!

App ok if you just need to check balance. Do not REPEAT DO NOT do any payment updates on their app or their website. Only speak with someone. There is no clarity to what type of payments you are updating. You may only be changing pay online option and not auto pay option. Which they will charge your old or closed account and then charge you a return payment fee, which they will not reimburse you for after your efforts to update your account correctly. Again app is ok if all you want is to see your bill and semi fancy graphs of your power usage.

Taken off the grid on purpose. How does FPL not know what is going on with my power? I lost power and they have no idea if a transformer went down if a line went down? It’s like a secret mission, they can’t tell me. They have computers that tell them if the system is down? They would know that? It’s a joke but yet they continue to raise our rates. It has been four hours and no electricity and they don’t know when my power will be restored. I have to wait for the hurricane that is in St. Petersburg to subside before they can go out to work in Charlotte. I know linemen have one of the most dangerous jobs out there but these are not linemen making these idiotic decisions these are pencil pushing suits shutting down the grid for no reason at all if not to fill their pockets and if you really think about it they are making it more dangerous for the linemen that have to go out and re-evaluate these lines to make sure they are safe to go back online.

Please Update. App is great but the notification “You have been logged out due to inactivity.” has to go asap. When I am done viewing, I quit the app and then 5 minutes later I get this notification every single time. I want to keep notifications turned on but this “logged out due to inactivity” notification is completely unnecessary. Please remove this as it is not helpful or a feature anyone would want.

The Best Electric Co by far. We have moved down to Florida from Ct and now have FLP for power. What an amazing entity. They don’t rob you for one thing and that is probably the most amazing feature to getting this service as opposed to having the one we had in Ct! I actually dont mind paying my bill down here. We also feel comforted with the fact that we do not feel threatened to just put on another light to see better for fear if getting screwed on our bill to do so!! Awesome app to view and pay my bill or reference aspects on it as well! Thank you FLP!!

Power Restored. I think they have been great. Even though there are people voicing their frustrations about delays, they surely have not been in a Fl hurricane before. And they did not stock up on basic stuff when they decided to ride out the storm. With, that said, people in Volusia county, this is just beginning of hurricane season, hope you’ve learned to be more responsible for your actions, and should be very grateful for the service we have received from FPL. Many improvements have been made over the years, but residents are also responsible for making improvements every year. We are responsible for our own actions, not someone else. Show some support and appreciation for persons helping that did not put you in your situation. But they are at our service during every catastrophic Mother Nature Event. FPL review. This company passing on the expense of building out its own infrastructure through added expense to consumers. The 4 scheduled rate hikes will result in major push back from consumers yet FPL knowing and working towards full monopolization of the Florida energy sector. There are so many data points signaling that FPL will not operate in the best interest of their customers and consumers are left with no other option for providers. The additional charges on everyone’s bill are seldom analyzed by consumers and FPL will and has inflated those to give incrementally to pad their coffers. Monopolies NEVER work to establish competitive and innovative markets, they destroy them. Floridians will rise up and the lobbyist for FPL will continue to push their fraudulent agenda with current administration will soon be getting an ear full and major push back. FPL also trying to take advantage of individuals who have invested in solar grid tie systems when in fact FPL tremendously benefits from the additional energy production their customers have paid for out of their pockets. The list of problems associated with the direction of FPL agendas is concerning and costly to consumers.

Outstanding!. This is a very well designed, straight forward and easy to use app. I would give this app 5-star PLUS if it supported landscape orientation on my iPad, like the expanded graph section. Especially like the real-time energy usage during a billing month. No bill surprise at end of billing period. Saves me a lot of phone calling and time. It’d be interesting if a customer could compare one year to the next, sort of set a goal to try reducing energy consumption ... imagine this capability on a day-to-day or month-to-month basis.

Customer Service. I have been so impressed with FPL’s ability to be on top of storm damage and keep us informed. Love that the power company is very innovative keeping on top of technology and constantly improving our power grid! We have personally been donating money from the time we moved to Florida to the solar power program. And now I would consider buying an electric vehicle only because FPL is building charging stations powered by solar energy!

It’sss Sooooooo Sloooooooowwwww…ZZZZ. The app gets three stars for its lack of timeliness. I’d write a review, but I fell asleeeeeeerep waiting for this app to accept my payment…. Unlike others in Northwest Florida, I don’t see that Florida Flash and Flicker (a subsidiary of NextEra Energy) is any more expensive than Gulf Power (another subsidiary of NextEra Energy). However, It is weird that I received a text that said my bill was ready, so I logged into the app, which said I didn’t owe anything. I called a couple of numbers and was actually able to speak with a Florida Flash and Flicker humanoid. She said to check back in a couple of hours and may be there—the app would receive the bill ny then. Of course, I forgot, which is why the text msg reminder should NOT come before you can pay it (in the app). But here it is, five days later, I remembered, and the app had an mount due And I paid. Sooooo….. going back to sleeeeeep noooooowwwww…ZZZZZZZzzzzzzz

Lights out?. I recently downloaded the app , middle of the night all the power went out. I was able to report the outage, AND …. It not only told me the estimated time power would be restored, AND how many people were affected by same power failure, AND a generalized idea of what the problem was caused by. It was so reassuring at 4am to know exact cause and time frame. ( In my mind burglars had cut the lines and a home invasion was next!!! Yes I’m neurotic)..This will be so useful during a hurricane. Thanks FPL p.s. the estimated time power was to be restored was one hour, power was restored 39 minutes later, YES!

The worst company ever!. There is no bad weather and no hurricane still confused why after 2 hrs there is not a single FPL truck at least checking out the power outage in my apartment complex. The worst company ever!!!! They are always slow to fix a power issue but quick to take your money though. Also they take you though so much red tape just to speak to a rep. Once you get a rep they are not helpful and rude!!! I have 3 little children and these ppl don’t care about that! All they care about is charging they’re customers all these fees on top of they’re bill and getting paid. I literally hate this company!

Handicapped. I’m sorry two monthly payments were delinquent I’m 74 hearing and visually impaired from a 1974 head trauma I didn’t realize the payment method’s account # was changed by my bank. I’ve gone to Publix to make a Speedpay payment and made a debit card payment. I’m worried about another disconnect of my service and know why auto-pay failed and your strict policies I could add money to my account producing credits for a few months then leave Florida I attempted to speak to an FPL representative it was Impossible. Please allow me to pay you by debit or credit card. Mr Carmine Ricca

Excellent AP to keep you in the electrical know.. While sometimes difficult to find what you want, the FP&L AP is an excellent resource for today’s electric consumer. Track your monthly, daily hourly use. See the effect of your conservation choices. Learn how to conserve and save big money for a little effort. Learn how to go solar and decrease or eliminate your power bill. Learn about smart meters and net meters. While far from perfect, the AP allows you to take snapshots of use and compare your historical use. I wish you had more control over time periods, durations and other report parameters. But, who can complain, its free. Pay your bill online, see your projected use for the current month, and a whole slew of knowledge base for the consumer to use. Unfortunately, I just found this AP a few months ago. I could have been a wiser consumer and saved myself some money too! Just use it. It will become one of your favorite web pages to visit. But be warned, you may start turning off lights in unused rooms and performing other money saving tasks. Just don’t go OCD!

😡😡. I have been trying to make the online payment for an hour, the poor online service and the automatic system configuration are too limited. I want to make a March payment and it doesn't give me the option, it gives me the same February payment. I need help on the phone and there is no service or people to answer the phone and they leave the automatic system to answer and they do not have the necessary tools to use the services or improve the application for us the public it is a waste of time and energy to be able to pay a invoice please more consideration we are helping your company and please hire more people thank you.

Kept informed & competitive prices - I’m Happy. I never heard anything good about this company and when I learned this is going to be my electric supplier, I was nervous. Didn’t have a choice and I thought that has to be the reason. No competition so they are costly and jerks. ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE AT ALL!!! They are a good company and rates are reasonable too. If I have questions they answer and make sure I understand the answer. They lay it all out in their billing and online. I’ve never had a problem with FPL. I have friends who share. I’ve been with FPL for 18 years and I can’t remember a time I was not happy with FPL. Now, when I lived in southern NH, for 22 years, yeah, no problems with them either. Before that in MA, 40 min north of Boston and that was 10 yrs with that Co. Good company. Didn’t have problems. So, you can see, I don’t have problems with electric companies. I am so happy about that.

Zero stars. I love FPL, I love all the employees, the managers, the supervisors, the shareholders, everything about it except they were app then why is that you might today. Well, I went to the app to send an email or a message via the app to customer service, but they only give you a choice of problems in other words there’s nowhere for me. I have a different problem than listed and I want to describe it to them in an email with more than two words or a checkmark but they don’t allow that they don’t offer that for this reason, I give them zero stars on their app that I love the company, I love all the employees, the products the company that owns them I love my enemies. Service Outage. Within 1 hour of reporting a service outage a truck was at my residence repairing the blown fuse. The courteous technician explained what he had to do and gave an estimated repair time. Then he asked me if everyone was okay because it was warm outside and he knew that it may be getting uncomfortable. A technician that cares not only about his job but his customers too. Great job FPL. During the recent hurricane we were without power for 5 days. We appreciate all you did then and what you do now. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Great app. Stable, helpful app. I use the app to remotely check my power usage on my vacation home. I can tell if the electricity is running by looking at the hourly usage figures and it is critical that power is running. I can have a neighbour by my vacation property reset a breaker or whatever if the power from FPL has no local outage but power is not running in the home. Also can see predicted billing on the dashboard and adjust my air conditioning usage. Many other helpful features.

International Customers!. For some reason the FPL is using very high security so I can’t access my account to pay bills when I am abroad. Most FPL customers live abroad and travel a lot. So please allow access from abroad !

Provides Useful Information. I use the FPL app frequently. It is very user-friendly and provides a lot of valuable information. I can easily see why a bill is higher or lower than other bills because it gives me actual usage along with the average temperature and the number of days in each billing period. It is shown based daily and monthly periods of time.

terrible. it’s so difficult to maneuver on the web sight/application. first concern, i think i’ve been being charged for an account that i closed months ago (it’s so difficult to understand what is happening to my account) and about 2 months ago i switched the address of the existing account to a new home and received power for about a month until my power was cut off. this is my mother’s home and i don’t love there so i was unaware of this and she has been suffering in this heat without speaking a word until i finally visited and saw for myself and didn’t understand what was going on. now i am trying already for 3 hours to call FPL or use the web sight and the app (literally every single way i can think of) and i still haven’t been able to reach a human customer service representative. terrible terrible terrible service, if only there was a negative star rating as an option.

confusing showing power on?. it was 4 stars but I called 800 number after the hurricane I called yesterday about an outage and it is not undated on the app. It says I had power at 1:00am on 9/29 ? do you think I have power ? no updates like usual for Fpl. Fpl is still my favorite power company. your update service was alway top notch. Just thought I would let you know it’s confusing. Understanding customer And Thanks to everyone working hard.

Can’t live without it!. I am addicted to checking this app on a daily basis and monitoring our power usage due to our very tight budget. I am able to lower our usage around the house if I see it predicted to go over my budgeted amount. It is also so handy to have if we have an outage so I can report or monitor it coming back on. Best app ever!!

Pretty Much Worthless App. It has this “energy manager” function where you can input different time amounts for appliances to run and/or thermostat settings (pool pump hours per day, thermostat temperature, etc.) to see how changing your lifestyle can help save on your electricity usage. So I put new hours for pool pump (from 8 hours a day to 0 or 4 hours per day) and set my thermostat to 80 degrees. But the app won’t save any new info when you click the “save” button. It just reverts to 8 hours pump run time and thermostat to 78 degrees. Totally useless.

Everything you need. I love this app! I check it every day and it helps us see an estimate of what our bill will be at the end and it’s always been correct so far! It’s also nice to see how much more/less we have been using in the past months. It shows everything you’d think you need and more!

Good for now. Great to see where how much I owe and to see how much it’s gonna cost as the days past because of the usage. What I don’t like is that I still have to call to pay the bill online. I can’t just type my card info onto the app and pay that way. That would be more convenient for me. Also they notify me when there’s an outage and when the services are back on which is good to know for when I’m not home

Power outage. We had an inexplicable power out in our condos recently. The first responder was there within 20 minutes and had 1/2 of the units up and working within an hour. A new transformer was needed and a truck with the new part was there and had us all back on line in less than 3 hours. The workers were very informative and extremely friendly. A great job!

Best phone call ever 1/17. Recently there was a mistake on my account and there was a $30 fine. I called customer support and was dreading the phone call because I am used to Comcast and others making the phone call a complete inconvenience and terrible experience. I have to say the professionalism and help the individual gave to me on the phone (his name started with a “A” I believe) was awesome. He was very respectful and helpful. I even told him I would write a survey/review on him to thank him. Personally if I get in contact with him again I would shake his hand and buy him lunch. Thank you so much FPL for having this person work for you. Absolutely a pleasure of a phone call please hire more like him. Thanks Jupiter Sean

PROJECTING BILLS. I am a former Gulf Power employee, now retired. I am disturbed at reading that our bills are being “projected” based on the usage during the first few days of the bill cycle. Gulf Power, while under Southern Company, would only prorate bills when meters could not be read, or after hurricanes when meters could not be read. The number of people in my home has decreased, and so has usage. Therefore, I will be keeping an eye on my meter readings, bills, and usage to ensure that I am being billed for my actual use and not a projected rate.

Very productive application. Yeah I’m pleased with this app has everything I need to know shows my daily usage however I noticed the prices of my daily have gone up a little bit economy is really taking a dump lately hopefully it’ll pick up and not have much affect on my electric bill.

FPL AS A SERVICE PROVIDER. FPL has been a great power provider during the 1 1/2 years we have used them. There has been no outages during that time. There cost is very reasonable compared to other service providers that we grave used in the past. How’re they do not pay customers providing Solar confection at the same savings as what’s used in under coverage system usage.

Brightness all over. I’ve been using online service for decades. Their software is super friendly user from all the imperative things which need to be done from beginning to end….all is done with a click of a button. No need to commute to their official office & stand in long lines. FLP is absolutely brightness as well as the staff!!! Great job well do!!!

Harry. Great app. Would like to see the FPL app add the features of DTE insight app. DTE uses smart meter and requires a internet connection. DTE monitors real time electric usage. FPL does not require a internet connection. Both apps are great. Adding the features of both apps would make for a more consumer friendly app. Would allow consumers to monitor energy with or without internet connection.

Impressed!. Wow! Huge lightning hit in East Englewood. Lost power and it was powerful. FPL on it and after estimating could be three hours til we had power there was a truck in our area within minutes and power back in about half hour. THANK YOU….all of you who had to work hard to make that happen. Very impressed and grateful!

FPL app review. Slow system response to inquiry and not easy to use. Options within app not intuitive and not easy to get desired results. Sometimes abrupt log off shortly after logging in. Results provided don’t match search data or inquiry. Status either wrong or extremely out of date. In short it was wasted effort because I got no useful data. I can’t determine if you know about my problem. Can’t send one star review because every nickname I choose is supposedly already in use.

Incredibly good service. The very few times we’ve had a power outage, it was restored much faster than a couple years back. The app makes it very simple to manage all we need from FPL and easy to navigate. Personally I want to thank you for the great service and I highly respect the teams that work so hard to keep the power running under any circumstances.

Poor. It’s terrible. I’ve tried several times to change my first account number to my new account number and even though the first account is closed it won’t let me open a new account on line. I have a new account number but the app won’t recognize it. I tried to add it and I created a new account for the same address. Now I have two accounts for the same address and they want another deposit. When I call by phone I’m on for hours and still no resolution.

Service is quiet good. I can’t believe it! I literally have no complaints. Service has been exceptional. Since there has been no hurricanes in the last two years since I’ve moved to this new location, I will do a new review to see how service is handled after losing power from a potential hurricane, hopefully not, in the future.

Couldn’t find what I was looking for.. I was a little disappointed when I had to choose what I was looking for. I couldn’t just type in my question and get an answer. Not even from Julie, in the chat room. I was only given certain options. I guess I’ll have to spend hours on the phone, when I get the time to sit on hold :(

Worth downloading. Since downloading the app, I am able to monitor my household energy usage and understand the usage from different activities, such as lamps, fans, oven time, cooker time, other appliances. Useful to understand sudden hikes in energy usage, to increase your consciousness of electricity use, especially during these uncertain times and more time at home.

New to the app!. So far FPL app seems to work very well! Couple issues, one is even though you log out you get push notifications that logs you out? Number two is scheduling payment is limited to Checking accounts and Credit Cards. What if I have another type of account, like savings or money market. Used my savings account from my bank and FPL charged my savings account as a checking account, confusing my bank??

No help. I previously had FLP at another residence. I closed it out last September and moved to another home in Florida. I’m trying to set up a online payment option but because of my previous account it is saying that I have to get permission from the account owner but I never get a notification or anything. I really don’t want to be bothered with a monthly bill. I would think your company would appreciate that. I need help setting up online payment!!!I I wasted half my day either trying to talk to someone or live chat or just on the Internet with no avail

Homeowner. Been without power since Tuesday September 27, at 10:00 am, all of our surroundings neighbors have power but us, I notified FPL within 6 minutes of power outage on Tuesday and before winds reached 45 mph…more than a full day before others started losing power, their power has been restored but not ours…mismanaged to the fullest. I was told on Friday that there were no managers available until the next business day, which meant Monday…who believes that there were no managers available during a catastrophic event as Ian, that is simply not true.

It's convenient & easy to use.. Being a first time renter its hard to keep track of things and know when things are due when everything's so new, but having an app thats easily accessible and easy to use makes it way easier on your mind so you dont drive yourself crazy.

Refreshing. Having lived in MA and putting up with the “we’re not happy ‘till you’re not happy” attitude of Eversource it’s refreshing to see a utility (Florida Power and Light) committed to conservation, reducing cost, and improving service. With this app, I can monitor usage on a daily and even hourly basis to understand the cost and usage impact of temperature settings at our house to optimize use. Highly recommend this. Keep up the good work!!

Suggestion for the Outage Option. First off, love the app - no hard complaints about it. I only have a small suggestion: would you please change the name of the Outages option at the bottom to Report an Outage? I found out the hard way that it was not, in fact, meant to show if there were outages, but to report an outage…and there’s no way to cancel said report. Thanks!

One stop shop for all your power needs.. Love the ease in which to follow a power outage, or to look at the stats for an entire year, month, or day for power usage. You can pay your bill, check for payment if you have paperless billing or auto pay! Thanks for making this available!

My opinion. Finally my account is easily observed and able to pay with a push of a button.! I appreciate the reminders as I am a very busy person and I can have paying my bill slip my mind.! I don’t have direct pay monthly but this is the next best way for my needs... It’s worth downloading the app and if you don’t like the app Delete it...!

My password isn’t going in. I like the app! But now it seems to be acting up. It doesn’t want to let me in. I’m putting in my email and password like always and even my finger print but it doesn’t work... I refuse to make another password because I have this one store to my brain. So can y’all fix that problem plz... I don’t wanna go online to pay my bill anymore when this is the easiest way.

Worst electric company ever. I’d give it a zero star if I could. My electric bill doubled. Typically it goes down in the cooler months. Ever since FPL took over Gulf Power my bill has been $547 and $665. Never have I ever had a bill that high even in the summer months. They will allow you an extension on your payment. They gave me 5 extra days. Which doesn’t help at all because I still won’t have money by then. An extension isn’t helpful in the first place, it’s the price that is hurting everyone. I really don’t know how I will survive being a single mom. I am not sure how I can pay all my bills.

They really try to make it as hard as possible to pay the bill online. They want to tap into your bank account which I think is crazyAnd don’t offer any way through their site to pay by credit card. As a matter fact through the app you can’t even link to the pay by credit card. So then you have to go to a third-party and be charged a convenience fee just for the privilege of not letting them go into your bank account. If I had any other option believe me I would take it but FPL owns me.

Appreciate the information. I appreciate being able to see my utility bill when I want. Having the comparison tools to monitor my usage is extremely useful. Also, I am very thankful for the Storm information which kept me informed of the restoration progress. Keeping the power on is a challenge, that’s for sure. Thank you

Disappointed. I thought that this app would give me detailed information about power outages and expected restoration times, specific to my account. This is not the case. All I get is a generic estimate of possible restoration over a multiple county area. It does give me specifics on my personal usage, but I can get all that same info when I go online and view my account. The app does not provide me with anything new beyond what I already get on the internet.

No customer service. I have paid my bill on time since 2003. We moved here full time in October 2020. I changed bank accounts to bank in Florida, and I did not correctly enter the new bank account number. I was notified payment didn’t go through and promptly paid my bill. The issue is been corrected. But I now have to pay a fee every month to pay my bill. ( on time). Tried calling FPL dozens of times but cannot physically speak to a rep, to explain the situation. Why do you not have a customer rep to speak to in person

Good experience. I’ve been paying my bills on this app for quite a while now with no issues the app is pretty fluid and responds right away with payments. I once had my light bill cut off so I paid what I owed & within a minute or so my energy was back on at home, so great response time with this app.

Not a fake review…. This company has serious money and I’m sure all the glowing reviews (propaganda) on here are legitimate. Sure….. The company charges some of the highest rates in the nation and they have a monopoly. Whats to love about them? The fact that I can only use bank account within their app to pay their exorbitantly high rates is a bit ridiculous. You have use a separate website and pay a $3 fee to use a credit/debit card. FPL is already making money hand-over-fist, the least they could do is make it easier to give them money………….

Update tedious. Shouldn’t have been this difficult! Part of problem: 1. FPL used 3rd party vendor for update, which is confusing. It’s hard to trust when not sufficiently notified, especially with so much fraud. How can I trust a 3rd party vendor when I don’t know them. 2. When updating, the FPL 3rd party vendor uses terms, like “Apple ID” when it should say “Apple log in.” It isn’t until the next screen where it requires “Apple ID” (which is Apple Password). Then you have to start all over and figure out what was really meant to go where. Again, shouldn’t be this difficult. 3. Now that I’m in the APP, it’s saying there’s a problem, “try back later” and now I’m worried about fraud!!! I will try again and if it doesn’t work, I will remove the APP! And of course, I will be changing passwords and log ins, which can take some time. Thanks for nothing!

App gives no access to an outage map. Very disappointed that the app offers no, ZERO, access to an outage map. I guess FPL wants that information kept secret. Would not want costumers to know how poor restoration efforts are going??? My other power company in Michigan, DTE, offers an outage map with shaded boxes around areas without power. I can tell if my relatives are in trouble. Upon opening the app, they immediately try’s to sell me a surge protector. You would think it would be the power companies responsibility to filter out voltage spikes. Underwhelmed. May as well delete the app I guess.

Not bad. Needs work. What’s the point of push notifications if the app logs you out in few minutes? Session is over - what notification will be sent? Same way - the session is not over yet but you’ve been inactive in the app for some time - outage page gives error most of the time (and there is no way just to refresh, btw!) without repetitive logging out/in again. Otherwise - a nice FPL website wrapper (Do understand that those downsides would not be present IF it’d be a real standalone Application).

Enjoy the App. The Breakdown of how the power is utilized is very informative. I am interested in the Solar program. A draw back in are project is the fact of your roof getting blown off during a storm and the coast of replacement falling on the owner’s instead of the Home Owner Insurance Company who we pay each year , your a resident.

Outages. It’s more like the bill in your face, FPL is making easy for them to collect their money. . There’s no wow factor, no pie chart to compare LY or Last Month. The service a joke .... 5 hours to turn the lights back on, always having power outages when it rains. .. they’re always doing a quick fix. Living in my place for 5 years. They can’t fix the issue and how are they going to improve the application. My mother has cancer and is with out electricity... I feel bad for elderly... Great job FPL... your doing amazing, just like Cuba !!!

From a Sarasota FPL Customer. This is the best app I’ve experienced in many years. It is accessible, easy to understand and I check my usage nearly every day. In this extreme heat (July/August 2018), it is important to minimize the contrast between indoor and outdoor temperatures and yet remain comfortable indoors. In our 1,100 sq. ft. condo, 77-78 degrees, daytime and 73-74 degrees at night are “livable” temperatures—and I can easily keep an eye on and control our monthly FPL expense. Thank you. It’s a brilliant app!

Convenient and helpful. This app has been very helpful. We moved into our home the months ago and have lost power twice. Once for a bad storm and the other for equipment failure. And both times I used the app to report the outage, and also check on the progress for repair. Also it estimates your bill so you’re not in total shock when it comes.

Florida Power. Your service is fairly good. Two issues I see: first the price is high and second considering the old outdated wires in the air over the sidewalks and under the tree branches is just too much. During the recent cleanup FPL groups have skipped some big trees while they should have trimmed them but for odd reasons the clean up crews have skipped $don't know why?$? Is it really fair to pay $200 for power of the $820 left SS payment? Don’t profit as much please.

Review FPL. Great app, I’m a snow bird from the state of Pennsylvania, I wish our current electric company was as intuitive as FPL. There web it easy to navigate, and contains information that all customers need to know. I especially like the usage/analysis feature of their web site. Their app is very direct and informative. Energy Engineer comments. As someone engaged in both the generation and conservation of energy in Europe I can say without reservation that FPL have provided probably the best application for users. With the ability to see consumption on a daily basis it is possible to control and be aware of energy waste. With this sort of awareness, one day the people on the USA may just join the rest of the world to reverse the degrading climate.

Great app. I like the comparison charts showing usage and temperature. My other company doesn’t have that. I wish it had a way to track who the landlord is to notify in case the power is cut or the property is being moved to another name without permission. I have heard that other companies have this.

A bit better but. What happened to the daily by hour? Would be better if it was averaged with consideration of previous month and previous year which would give a more precise estimated end of month. But still lags sometimes with updates not sure if its the program or maintenance of the system or just a bug. App does run smoother not as buggy but not bad thanks
