DIDN”T WORK!!!. I tried to connect it to my lifx, and it just didn’t it said it was connected, but it was not working.

Won’t recognize half my lights. I connected to my bridge and HomeKit and it only gives me the option of using 5 out of the 10 lights I have on HomeKit. Can’t even use this in my bedroom. If there is a fix I’d gladly update my review.

Groups?. Such a brilliant app and love the scenes, however where are my groups? It’s either each individual light has to be chosen or all of them in every room. This is why we group rooms together so we don’t have every light on in our place. Fix this issue and make it so we can see our groups, and I will bump up my rating and delete this one

Needs handoff capability. I just got this app today and I absolutely love it. I will definitely be using it. What I noticed, however, and why I gave it four stars, is that I can’t seem to make the app play through my HomePods. I already tried it a few times and I couldn’t make it work. I’m going to try it again, but if this is a limitation of the app I hope you’ll fix it.

No clue. I haven’t been able to shutoff the funky inverted screen colors from Aura If the aura app wasn’t the cause of my color array on my iPad screen I apologize please tell me what app I should look at

does not run in background. This app have few lightning options and the worst of all after you purchase in-app, it can’t run in the background.

Would buy again despite. Overall the scene selections are appealing. I use both the transitioning lights and the ambient music together and apart to great psychological effect. I dislike giving less than 5 stars, but two things: I’d like to make the scenes brighter sometimes. It seems the brightness slider caps too soon. Second and more important: if Aura is on, it is consuming 20-25% of my battery per hour on a brand new iphone.

A little expensive full version $4.99. It a very good app, simple and very easy to figure out. In the free version only 2 lights can be used. One big drawback is that the app must be open and running in the foreground or the flashing lights stop, that seams to be a big drawback . Some other apps are almost impossible to figure out

EXACTLY what I was looking for to control outdoor landscape lighting!. Great job! Smooth, gradual color transitions- very relaxing!

A demo so limited by an upsell I hated it before I could even try it.. i'm really not sure why every company seems to be so intent on destroying everything about a good idea just to have some kind of upsell in the application that limits the demo so badly that it is functionally useless.

So easy and fun. No issues just pick a pic and the colors come.

Already Paid For This App.... ...and they want you to pay for it again because they MAY have fixed their Hue/iPhone connection issue. How about FIXING your application for the people who already paid for it and then allow them to continue to use the service they paid for.

Can’t run in the background. The colors and scenes are pretty, but the fact that you can’t let this app run in the background makes it practically useless!

Not a good app. Not risking paying if they won’t even give me a description of what i’m paying for.

Great app and colors - No support for HomePods or external audio. Concept is amazing. Colors are great. Lack of support for HomePods or AppleTV to beam audio to multiple rooms make it only a 3 stars.

Universal OFF would be cool. Good app, good scenes...I recommend, great for a conversation starter with the full. To the point: why the F do I have to turn off the EFFING lights from the device that initially set the scene, as opposed the iOS devise in my EFFING hand presently? Pleas take your time to respond whilst I trundle through this slag heap to find which, of a dozen, device may hold the key to my release to the land of...Oh, your a dark lot!

Expansion scam. I paid the extra money for the expansion pack with extra scenes and there were no extra scenes. Not to mention, the scenes are all very dim. The scene Brightness is on max and it’s still very dim. Don’t waste any money on this.

Great but lacks two important features. I immediately fell in love with this app because it makes it so easy to have smooth dynamic light scenes without the headache of creating them. BUT!! it needs to be able to run in the background. I want to have the light show happening as i do other things with the phone. This is a BIG ISSUE for me. Also being able to add my own photos from camera role and have the app read them and create dynamic light show would make the app perfect!

Worst App do not download. I bought the app to be able to use with my LIFX lights. When I open the app I do not have access to my LIFX lights. I tried re installing the app and have lost the paid version of the app. There is no accurate link to get technical support. I feel I just have been scammed out of $7 by the developer of this app. Stay AWAY!!!!!

Nice. Good overall but needs more dynamic in some scenes and does not work in background which for lighting is important.

AirPlay?. Why won’t this connect to speakers? I’d love for the sound and light to be a bit more immersive than just playing on my phone. It’s really awesome otherwise.

Like the App, but needs more settings. Great app for giving you relaxed chill Hue lights faded colors. Only complaints - could use more light programs for the $6 in app fee. Additionally, lights freeze in last setting, once the you open another App on your phone or your phone screen goes to sleep. It needs to run indefinitely or on a timer in the settings.

Good, but not worth 5 bucks. My biggest complaint is that in order for the lights to complete the fill affect the app has to be open. Then on top of that the options of scenes are limited. What they do have is good, especially the Milky Way and Aurora.

Would not connect to any hue bridge. And although it said it was connected to my LIFX lights, it didn’t turn on or off or do anything. It was not connected at all even tho it said it was.

Stopped working. Expensive lightbulbs. They worked for a while, creating different colors and cool ambience, but then they stopped working and I cannot figure out how to get them hooked back up. I see no icon on the bulbs to re-download information. So I’m giving this only to stars until someone helps me get it hooked back up.

Nope. I have two Hugh Bridges one it did connect to but it didn’t actually control any of the lights the second one it will not connect I have three other apps that worked great with both bridges so I know that it’s not the bridge bummer because I went ahead and got the 699 upgrade and I feel like I’m kind of a sucker

Doesn’t consistently connect to the bulbs. I have hue and LIFX lights, the hue connection is constantly trying to reconnect and works sometimes. The LIFX bulbs work scattered. I am open to chatting more if you want to reach out. The scenes are beautiful, just wish they worked.

Can’t get past setup. Won’t connect to my bridge. Can’t even find it. All other apps work fine. Don’t bother.

Needs some work but I like it. I love my hue lights and this app has some neat dynamic scenes but the biggest flaw is that it won’t work in background like other apps. If you fix this I will most likely upgrade and change my review to 5 stars. I love the paintings and interface looks simple to use. Until then I’ll keep using Ambee which is another great app with dynamic scenes.

Amazing! I just wish there was Siri Shortcuts. Please add Siri short cuts that the user can set up in app, that way we can use our HomePod and other Siri enabled devices to toggle a scene. I think your animations are the best and easiest to use out of any app out there! Maybe add more lighting effects in the future?

App used to work great. I don’t know what’s wrong with it now. It just doesn’t connect to or control my lights anymore. It sees the lights yet does nothing. I’m frustrated from lack of support

Great app - missing most important feature. Beautiful and incredibly smooth “moving” scenes but they only work while the app is open and freeze the colors when you close it

Terrible App & Product. App only works if you purchase— after you’ve already purchased the light bulb. Other light bulbs and apps do not do this— such a scam for more of your money. Returning the light bulbs and deleting this app ASAP.

Can not just turn it on and select color with no sound. I wish I could just turn it on with a color wheel and select a color with no sound. The themes are interesting, but I get tired of the up and down color and brightness other apps let me do this.

Bug with latest IOS. It doesn't want to stop controlling the lights even after you try to turn all lights off. Will try rebooting phone.

It REALLY needs to run on the background. Everything is great but this should run in the background. Or it kills your devices battery life Can you allow the app to work with a vpn?

Great themes and color setups, poor consistency with updates. Works great when it works. Struggles heavily with LIFx

I’ve tried them all. I tried all of the apps for my hue lights. I won’t pay a yearly fee for any app. This one is upgradable for a reasonable one time price! It also has a soft flickering candle light which I really wanted. The design is simple and very elegant. The music and sound of the forest or a fireplace are top notch. The only setting that’s not very well done is the lightning setting. The flashes are too long and they don’t sink with the the audible lighting/thunder. There’s another dedicated lightning app that does it way better. Other than that small issue I love this app!

Good not great. Love the scenes so far, easy to use, simple, and intuitive. As an efficient iOS user I’d like more control, more scenes, more options.

Very cool except where is the snap, pop, pizazz,…. I’m very happy for the temperature and style of the affects and quality art with sound effects,. Unless you couldn’t find the switch again or if it is not set up yet … we’ll then your not going to like lightning feature which is just a blue light flashing on off. Like a traffic signal and that’s supposed to be the most fun. I could only get the LIFX features to work. Hue requires a bridge… what a waste of 10 light bulb….

Maybe?. This could be really good but I can’t tell. I suggest reworking the “trial” part to perhaps being time based. Currently it only allows two lights before a $5 purchase, but I can’t really judge an animations quality with just two lights...

Update = Spinning Wheel. Loved the app, until this latest update. Now all I get is the “ spinning wheel “ next to the ( Phillips Hue ) in settings. I deleted it and reinstalled and it’s still doing the same thing. I also paid for the unlimited version, clicked on “ app support” which takes me to an outdated Twitter page. I know it’s only been 3 days, so I expect glitches..... Let’s get this back on track.

No ability to create groups!. Come on guys! This is super cool and easy app to use but why can’t we create groups for our lights? This needs to be added asap!

Almost!. It’s a single task app with justenough interface to expose its features but not enough to be cramped and confusing. One thing it needs is customizable or a much larger, well made set of presets. I think that is IAP-worthy. Overall, it’s a single tasker, to great effect, but it just lacks some content.

Dynamic visuals. After trying out so many Phillip Hues app this is by far the best one. The gradual fade in and out of the different colors are subtle and rich. Upgrading is a must. The only drawback is the aren’t enough images. Hopefully they will add some soon. But definitely worth the money.

Pretty great app. I just like it.. A really great idea and lovely execution. Some themes don’t have a sound but most have beautiful artwork and music. Would most likely purchase after an update. It’s a great idea that I’d love to see expanded. Very well done. EDIT: Bought it and it’s really great. I feel that it helps me enjoy my 37 LIFX down lights and bulbs in a different way. I do recommend this app to people.

you forgot an off button!. The light effects are very good but there does not seem to be a way to turn it off other than resetting it each time? Really needs an off switch, not a good design

Super fast transitions. I tried this with two of my LIFX lights. The lights transition so fast it’s enough to give you a headache. Nice idea, but needs more options. Transition speed and colour change speed would be a good start.

Absolutely fantastic. Brilliant app and from what I can tell, unique in its animation of hue lights. Great to help set the right vibe to match your mood. I find it really soothing, different scenes for different times of day. When you live in a dark apartment it can really help boost mood and brightness in the room. Highly recommend. Love the new scenes, please keep adding more. Great artwork too!

Good App but can be improved. I like what you have done with the app so far, it would be nice if you could make an Alexa or Google skill so we can trigger your scenes without having to open the app.

Great app for Hue. This is a great app to control my Phillips Hue globes. It works extremely well. Unfortunately it does not work changing the lights’ colours in the background

Absolutely stupid app.. All it does is give you sounds. Has no effect on the lights whatsoever.

Background App Refreah is needes. Hesitant to buy until background app refresh is supported. Kind of a deal breaker without it.

Lights show up multiple times. Good presets, though more to choose from would be nice. Also, my bulbs show up multiple times in the list of bulbs to choose from (and no, using the reset function seems to make no difference). Also, I have it connected to HomeKit, but Siri doesn't seem to be able to set any of the presets? Ie. If I say "Hey Siri, set office light 2 to Aurora" it doesn't understand I mean the preset Aurora in this app.

Great. Works as described. Just wished the app would work without the app running on tge for ground and it boasted more scene.

It may be good BUT... The fact you can only chose 2 bulbs to test it shoots yourself in the foot. If I can’t test it on all 9 bulbs then I’m not sure if it’s worth it . Add a timer or something before someone needs to upgrade , 2 bulb test is just a bad idea. How can you tell from just 2 bulbs if it’s good . So I guess uninstall.

Read the Fine Print. I made the mistake of not fully reading the app details. In order for it to work you must leave the app open and your device running it active or it doesn’t work. If I had known that up front, I wouldn’t have made the purchase.

Doesn’t work. Does not connect to my Hue lights. And the developer has no website for support. Apple will not give me a refund on it. Do not buy this app.

Easy. Beautiful.. The effects are stunning. Very simple to set up. So easy to select a scene and just enjoy the light. The best app out there for dynamic light.

Phillips HUE. So far not worth a dam. I’ve tried everything from the Phillips instructions to Google home. At my wits end on this adventure

not enough lights enabled in free version. It's is impossible to tell how good the app is without all the lights being active a better way might have been to fully enable the app for a set time. Maybe an hour? And... a five rating without any review? Maybe I'm wrong about the app. Maybe a video in one of the windows in the app store.

Cool, but no background mode. Cool themes and animations. However, after purchasing the full version I was disappointed to find out that there is no background mode for this app. If I lock my phone or leave the app, the lights will revert to their original colour. Could not find an intuitive way to fix this in the options leaving me with a lighting app that I do not see using in the future.

Great app!. One of the best parts about this app is that you dont need to set up your light. Since my phone is conntected to my computer there was no need. That meant I could use it as soon as possible. I like how the lights go with the sound and how there are so many themes. Great work!

SO SO GREAT. This is a great replacement for thorlight on my iphone. It is easy to use, it looks beautiful, it is tremendously creative... IF I may as for one thing!! Add moe "NATURAL" light settings. How about: "Warm sunny day" "Clear day" "No Clouds" "Cloudy day" "Scattered clouds" Anything that would give the impression that we're outside. Likewise, if you could add few presets that lend themselves to fantastical thinking like: "Aquarium" "Comet" "Beach" "Deep ocean" I'm a writer, and I am all about cultivating headspaces to be creative. Your app is SOOO GREAT - - PLEASE KEEP MAKING IT BETTER!

Consistently Freezes, Extremely High CPU Usage. I like this app in theory, but in practice the GUI freezes anytime I leave it running. It also uses 78.4-96% CPU on a 2017 Macbook, which is unnacceptable...

Awful. So not user friendly. No wonder they were giving it away for free.

Lacking LIFX Control. The app showed my LIFX bulbs. I toggled the switch to enable bulbs and activated various scenes. My bulbs didn't respond at all. I tried A19 bulbs and LIFX Z strip. It might be worth noting I use a Netgear Orbi mesh wifi network. I assume if the app sees the bulb then it should be able to control it, though I could be wrong.

Worthless App for LIFX; Don’t Buy. Just flushed $7 down the toilet buying this to control my LIFX theater room lights.

Missing Lifx Polychrome Support. Works like a charm! However, the only two Lifx lights I own are a lightstrip and a Beam. Unfortunately this app doesn't recognize the multiple zones, so these "polychrome" lights end up one solid color. Would absolutely keep this app with proper multi-zone support!

Not Customizable. It's just settings with sounds. You can't edit the settings, just turnthe sound off. I wish this was more fully featured.

Not syncing. Not syncing with iPhone that is connected with MacBook Pro

Locks up. The app is currently unusable on iPhone 11. Constantly locks up and I have to force shutdown. I deleted...

Great app... Custom?. App has allot of potential and its a great start...I love how the app works and the sync with the music. Possible future developments: - custom light settings/scenes - multiple mood/zone settings for various room instead of just one for all
