MouseTimer. I use this all the time as an ABA therapist performing direct therapy. The ONLY thing I would change is the ability to put in customized times. I would pay for that.

Very cool...but. Would be nice if you could enter in a different amount of time than the ones given. All in all, solid basic app

Not healthy for young children's impressionable and developing brains. The 1 star is for encouraging little kids to learn to become addicted to a screen and teaching them to become impatient unless they are staring at the mouse eating time. This does NOT HELP then learn about being patient and waiting like the rest of us did before screens. I would NEVER hand my phone or tablet to my kid just to watch a mouse eat up "time" like a brain dead moron. A child can learn about time the proper and "old fashioned" and NORMAL way, by learning to wait without a stupid screen in their face. Do you people really want to teach your kids to think screens are better than real life??? It has been proven that handing little kids a screen instead of actual hands on activities, delays talking, causes short attention spans and excessive screen time every day also can lower the IQ. This app is totally ridiculous and is not healthy for a young child because of the addictive brain dead behaviors encouraged by staring at a mouse eating instead of using their brain to THINK. What do you THINK happens when a kid stares at mindless drivel like this?? Their brain shuts down! People, turn your stupid devices off and take away all the screens from your kids instead of using them for babysitters. While the mouse eating the apple is cute, it is cute for 2 seconds. Other than that, this is a worthless app that really IS NOT FOR KIDS. Unless you want to cause permanent screen addiction damage to their young, impressionable, and developing brain, that is.

Good App. Very straightforward. Here are some things i would add to make it 6 stars: 45 minute preset option. Skip backwards/forwards. Timer dosent stop at 0, instead it goes to the negative numbers. Other than that, this is the best mouse timer ive seen!

It takes the anxiety out of a ticking clock – and makes it a cute mouse chomping on apples… With every click, it chomps. Adorable, useful, simple. The way I use it, I set a mini goal for myself, like "retrieve laundry; dirty dishes down to kitchen" ... Then, I set this mouse timer for ONE minute, and RUN! I have ADD, so setting small goals and time limits is super helpful for task completion. Kids are often the same, because they're still learning task completion, doing things in their own, and getting stuff done. This timer will help with that, whether you're a kid OR a grown up! There's a setting to keep little kids from changing the settings -- by giving them a times table – so only you can alter the settings.

Awesome: pointless for adults but.... This might be good for small child learning basic concepts of time but for an adult it is perfect for sitting through long dull meetings at work. I love it. It is very cute.

Wonderful visual timer!. What a great find! The mouse theme is so cute, and this is an easy and fun way for young children and others with special needs to understand how much time is left.

Very good. You people clearly do not understand the app's function. It shows children how long time is by providing a tangible object (apples) to show the passage of time. It is not supposed to be a babysitting app like some fool said. It is for education so kids learn about time.

Great idea!. This app is an awesome visual timer! This is not a game. It's a visual timer that allows kids or any user to visualize the time countdown to any task, project, exercise..etc I just used it on my 5 years old son to 'trick' him into finishing his sandwich! Within minutes the plate was spotless! He was racing the mouse to finish his plate, it makes it fun and entertaining for kids to finish homework, food, naps..etc.

Simple, Sweet, Perfect. A cute little mouse chomps away at apples until the timer is done with a pleasant little tone. Perfect in its simplicity.

Great Timer For Kids. Those giving this a 1 star need to read the description and category. This is a great app for pre-school kids or kids with disabilities that have a hard time understanding time. Allows them to know when the next transition will take place.

Could be even better. Would be nice to customize the timer to something other than the set time choices. Sometimes I need 42 minutes or 6 minutes. Another apple color would be nice. Or perhaps a different fruit choice. Otherwise a cute timer.

Good visualization for kids!. Young kids have trouble grasping different amounts of time sometimes and this is a great visualization aid for tooth brushing, time outs and more. Four stars instead of five because custom amounts of time would be nice.

Fun timer. This is a timer, not a game. And for timer, it is AWESOME!! It is great for timing kids' reading and homework, and my child loves it. She used to pause her timer to get up, but now she says she doesn't want to do that because the mouse really wants his cheese. Also good for setting time limits on things like like iPad or TV. It gives a more positive spin on "times up" because the little mouse finally gets his cheese! 🐭

Great App. Whoever is reviewing this and giving it one star isn't seeing the purpose for this app. It's to teach children how time passes. I work in a school and am set to recommend this app to my Kindergarten teachers.

Fantastic (except for one major caveat). I absolutely love this app. I've used it at work (at a school) and the students love it! Not only can they visually see the progression of time, but we've also used it as a 'beat the mouse' timer game - very useful for making clean up time competitive :D I love that you can see the digital countdown as well in the corner. The only thing that I don't like about this app is that it significantly drains your battery power. I had the app open and in use and went from 100% battery to 14% battery in 15mins! So make sure you have a charger handy if you need the app open for a while. It would be great if this could be solved in future updates.

Awesome!!. I have a child who finds it EXTREMELY difficult to stay on task. This app has been fantastic at getting her to stay focused and get stuff done. She has to get the chore/task done before the mouse eats the cheese. She loves it and it makes my life easier. The only thing I wish, is that I could set the duration for the timer.
