Pretty good. This is the best calculator I have found for iOS yet. I have two relatively minor complaints, though. First it would be nice if the loading screen was eliminated. Certainly we don’t need to wait to load a calculator, do we? Secondly the options should be persistent. I like the larger button size and don’t want to have to adjust it each time.

Useful. My son is studying engineering and this calculator along with the graphical Calculator , definitely is a must. Is very intuitive and can show the information in a coherent way.

Everything is great except.... ... the keyboard really needs to be larger. Especially because the newer phones like the Xs and Xs Max have a lot of space and the keyboard on this app is optimized for something like the iPhone 5s. Please fix it, I got a plus sized phone for a reason.

Would Recommend, 100%. Sometimes my iphone calculator doesn’t work that well and ends up throwing off my answer entirely. Desmos makes things really simple and can prepare you for the future when you have to take state tests with it. Every high school student should have it. Thank you, Desmos 🙏🏻💗

Almost There. This is a great app, a standard scientific calculator with almost all the functions you will need. One complaint I have is that there is no log_(n) function. It’s very annoying to have to write loga/logn every time I want a base that is not 10. Please add this! Other than that, a great app, I use it all the time.

Great Features, poor UI. Wish they UI was more user friendly. Also I wish the app would remember my settings. I try to keep the font in large and color scheme as dark, but every time I open the app it defaults to light theme small font. Other than that nice features for a scientific calculator.

Space. The space for the equations is too large and the buttons could take more space.

Layout funky, ads horrible.... For anyone who has the muscle memory from using 10-key, this will infuriate you...and let’s not forget the slide-up ad that just always seems to know when you’re going for the ‘equals’ key, and pops right on up in front of it. I could go on and on about the ads, but that is the theme of these reviews, so not necessary. There are multiple other apps I would recommend before this one, but for educational purposes, Desmos is the most thorough and accredited...and exponentially better than this one.

Decent app, needs more basic features. This app really needs to have options for displaying the answers in different formats, such as scientific notation, decimal vs fraction notation, etc. I would also love to see an “E” key, a common calculator shortcut for “*10^”, great for scientific calculations.

Love it but has an error. Love everything about this calculator, but it has an error or glitch. The input of -3 squared gives an answers of -9, which is incorrect.

Good, but doesn’t work correct for some problems.. I don’t know how to fix this- but something like 10 (to the power of 9) • 8, the answer will be 8 x 10 (to the power of 9). Just switching the order and symbol (meaning the same thing.) How do I fix this? Thank you

Fantastic and simple!. I couldn’t find a calculator app that let me do cube roots easily and conveniently, until I found this one! It’s nice and clear, plus it provides most (if not all) functions I need!

Should save preferences for button size and dark mode. It doesn’t save the preferences so I have to change them each time you open the app, default button sizes are too small.

Great!. It’s better than most calculator apps I’ve used that has many reviews and higher stars! You can solve ANY problem. I don’t see any problems with the keyboards you just have to get use to it I’ve only been using it for 1 day and I love it! I recommend it to everyone.

One improvement. I would like to be able to save the preferences for the dark theme and large font instead of changing the interface every time I use the app. Still the best calculator for iPad just add that settings function please.

Hit or miss. This is a great app which I've been using for almost 3 years now. One thing that I HATE about this app is that the buttons are so small, you may think that you pressed something but no .. the buttons are so small that it didn’t sense it. Although it doesn’t seem like a big deal, it can be really, really annoying especially when you’re working on long calculations. Other than, it’s okay.

Great App, Missing a great feature.. You guys should definitely look into a way to have a “Save Equation” feature or something like the “Saved Graphs” section you have in the Desmos Graphing app. That would be amazing, even if it was an option for people only if they’re signed in I would download this app just for that (if i hadn’t aalready).

Great. Works very well. I just have 1 thing to say. In the app, the section where the function history is shown seems far too large. And the buttons are too small. Perhaps you could implement some features in other calculators to fix this. For example, some calculators have you swipe down from the answer bar to view your function history. Also, there seems to be no way of using subscript like on the computer version. Although it is present in the graphing calculator app. Also, the median function is missus in this app where it is present in the graphing calculator app. And I would like to suggest a function for the mode of a set of data.

Decent. My only problem is that this calculator doesn't support some trigonometric functions, those being secant,cotangent, and cosecant

Great, except…. The functionality is wonderful, but I miss two things I learned to expect back in the days I used my TI-89 Titanium: seeing past calculations after closing the app and reopening it, and being able to pull the results of a previous calculation down & build on them. Instead, I need to write the equation in full every time I want to see it or build on it.

Update please. Can we please have an update so we can hold the delete button if you get this message it would be helpful thank you

This is great...except. This is almost as good as my TI-84. However, I wish it had better support for copying and pasting into the calculator. The buttons are also way smaller than I’d like.

Buggy. Doesn’t save your preferences after closing and reopens completely zoomed in after minimizing.

Almost perfect. If this calculator had an easy, one button press, way to add *10^ it would be perfect. Whether it writes it as EE or *10^ I don’t care, but that is such a frequent thing to do in many sciences it baffles me that there is no quick way to do it here.

My favorite scientific calculator. I was very glad to find the Desmos Scientific calculator in the App Store. It has a wide range of usage and is very helpful. However my biggest complaint would be the buttons are too small. They should have an option of turning the screen horizontal and have the buttons be bigger

There isn’t a matrix calculator.. My class is currently learning matrices and we are using the matrix calculator that desmos has. I go to download this app and see if it calculates matrices also, and turns out it does not.

Make your numbers bigger. My fingers are way too fat to enter in all of my calculations correctly because the numbers and controls are WAY too tiny. Please fix this so I can pass my college math class. Thanks.

I just want the E button. I know it’s not a lot to ask, I just have to type *10^-6 a lot and I’d like to just go E-6, it adds up

My fourth evaluation finally wins!. I was looking for a calculator that would let me do some basic algebra, then take the arccos of the result and show the value in degrees. I thought it was a pretty simple ask but three other calculators failed me. Finally I found this one and my problem is solved. I’m docking one star because the UI got a little confused when I wanted to wrap a whole fraction In parentheses. It assumed I wanted to put them around the numerator or denominator. I fiddled around and eventually got it to work. In all it looks like a solid app.

Great except buttons are small. I really like the layout and functionality of this calculator. I would just like to see the buttons bigger as most of the screen is used for past calculations. I think maybe half screen for buttons and half for calculations would be much better! Thanks!

Terrible. There's no way to use the answer from the previous calculation in the new calculation. The history screen is obnoxiously large and cannot be reduced or minimized. This calculator was not intuitive and made it difficult to complete equations that required multiple steps. I deleted this app and decided to look for a better scientific calculator app.

Great app, and no ads!. Every other calculator app has ads, this one doesn’t! One suggestion though is make the keypad bigger. All that open space at the top is a waste of real estate.

Very good, but could have some improvements. This app is very good so far. However, here are my suggestions. “Expression open, “needs to be announced by voiceover whenever clicking into an active expression. Braille mode should not have to be toggled on and off in settings when using a braille display. of course, I am using an iPhone 8 plus. I have not downloaded the graphing calculator app yet, but I will do so when I can. I see this being helpful for my future students, and a replacement (if not an add-on) to the Orion TI 38 talking graphing calculator, and the Orion TI 34 talking scientific calculator.

Works for anything. It is hard to find a good calculator to assist you in math, but this one is the one that really works for me.

Close to perfect. This is the best scientific calculator that I’ve found. One thing that can be improved is if history remains after the app was closed and restored when it’s opened again.

Wonderful. I love this calculator and use it all the time. I was wondering if you could add a feature that gives us the ability to save things to memory though. Whenever I close the app everything is lost.

reliable but needs design tweaks. For the iPad, please make the keyboard larger so functions are all visible. with the larger display you have the opportunity to display more so users can input faster.

I Have a question. How can you change a decimal to a radical or exact value form?

Best calculator app. Works awesome easy to understand and edit stuff never had any issues or ads. Just wish they’d add more functions over time! 10/10 great for physics class.

Getting me through precalc. This is a great calculator. My only issue is the buttons are a bit small.

Very high quality calculator. I’ve looked at calculators on the App Store that had all functions like- fractions, exponents, and algebra equations, but was not able to find one. So, I’ve found Desmos. Since I’m going into the 8th grade, I need a calculator that had all functions. The Apple stock calculator is very good, but it doesn’t have fractions and exponents. Thank you for this app!

Beautiful, wonderful, amazing calculator. This is better than any of the other calculator apps. A far cry from the one that’s automatically on iPhones. Upgrade to this app. Delete all other calculator apps. You won’t regret it.

Easy to use. It’s way easier and more efficient than non digital calculators and any other scientific calculator I could find. It’s easy to navigate and has all the functions that you’d need in basic college level math.

No ads!. Excellent calculator for making more-complex calculations. Completely free with no ads. Can you please add log operations to the main interface for convenience?

Great but need more features. Awesome idea, but it would be useful to number outputs so we can refer back to them. For example, "ans" only refer to the output above, and putting variables for each output is inconvenient. Something like ans(6) or %6 (Mathematica syntax) would be convenient. Also, it lacks the ability to create and save multiple notebooks like the Desmos graphing app. That would be a useful addition. It also does not include calculus functions, unlike the graphing app.

Finally a real calculator. Most calculators on the App Store suck. This one doesn’t. Except that all the buttons are really small. Really, really small. Too small.

Great but needs more usable Greek letters.. As it stands, there are only three. Which is insufficient for many applications. Tau and Pi are in there but are already assigned so no help.

Great App. This is a superb app, the only (minor) problem is that the buttons are a bit on the small side. Other than that, I definitely recommend this calculator.

Excellent scientific calculator!. Now I have a scientific calculator on my iPhone and can actually perform some meaningful calculations when I'm outside. This is way better than all those paid scientific calculator apps. Very happy with this app. Very grateful to the developers for providing this app for free.

Nice Calculator. Good Calculator in line with other desmos apps. However, I was disappointed to find that it didn’t have the option to give the result as a fraction (when possible). It can’t compete with hardware calculators on the market for this reason.

Only 4.6 MB, the most lightweight calculator I can find. The Desmos calculator is fast and lightweight. I cannot find any other calculator which is smaller in size. It even has many scientific functions.

Scientific Notation???. Would be PERFECT if it had notation for scientific notation. Eg 1.2E4
