Stormbound Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

It’s fun at a price. Stormbound is truly a fun game. Between the variety of cards and and strategies you not only of days of entertainment a head of you but are rewarded for putting cards together to get devastating effects. But the problem arises when you start encouraging players who paid for card pacts and fusion stones to upgrade cards. At the point you are not playing against an opponent who has worked as hard as you to refine their deck to its best, but instead you are playing someone who has bought cards that are far beyond the power of your typical cards. Playing against these people is a total up hill battle and even if you when you do not feel rewarded because you begin to understand the disadvantage you are at for not spending money. Now the game would be so bad if they offered more challenges to earn rubies (the currency used too buy the better card packs) but i have been playing for a year and have only managed to get 60 rubies putting me just short of the 75 needed to guarantee me an over powered legendary card (which I also do not have). In short you do not like spending money this might not be the game for you.

Top 3 on my game list. First off this is NOT pay to win, if you still think it is your clearly bad at the game itself. The battles are simple and I think almost anyone could play this, the challenge is building the deck really. Now I understand that I’m previous times the brawls were very expensive If you wanted to perform well, but with some of the newer updates, you can play against people on a more even playing field, without having to spend 1000s of coins to get good prizes. Now the only thing to note about this game is that it does take time, you don’t get all the legendaries and perfect deck in a week, but I’d encourage the people I know to go out and give it at least a week, who knows it might just be a new favorite for you too Edit: I know this quite often is written deep in coding but if there’s anyway that there could be a clan system that would be awesome. Being able to trade cards, discuss tactics, share decks and all the other great features that could go with that would be amazing.

Pay to win and Unbalanced destroys this game. This is an absolute masterpiece of graphics and gameplay for mobile but it is one that only goes that is it the game is serious pay to win driven and the cards are incredibly unbalanced if someone has one or two legendaries which are over 10 usd for a pack with maybe one then they completely tule the match it’s a constant see saw of trying to get through ranked to get more cards and the quest only give you enoughto make you feel even worse about playing the greed of the developers destroy a game that could be so much better every match is a fight against your deck pulling cards that need 8 mana after filling your deck with 2 and 4 mana cards and constantly pull cards that have no movement while your opponent who paid for a few packs moves graciously across the battlefield with cards that grow every time they attack or get attacked with base start of 5 plus people and less than 5 mana to put down which makes it impossible to beat if you can only draw a card that has less than 3 people because your hand is filled with the 3 lvl 8 cards you put in it at the beginning of the match this game is trash and if you read this all do not download this do not waste your time money or effort unless you want a bunch of headache and to spend a lot of money getting past the pay wall

Wow.. Past a certain point, Winners are decided by card level. When the opponents cards are all level 2-3, and you’re barely scraping by with 1s and a couple level 2s, tactics are thrown out the window and it becomes attrition. Attrition that you’re doomed to lose, since your opponents cards are outright BETTER than yours. And getting your cards upgraded? Don’t make me laugh. The chances of you getting a card you’re trying to upgrade can be near nonexistant. I get it, grind the game and eventually you’ll get what you want. But the grind is SOOO SLOW. Wins award a pittance and the dailies are better, if you can do their narrow demands. I guess you could progress in this game... if you’re willing to throw away whatever value your life or it’s contributions may add up to, in favor of a mobile game with questionable balance. You do you. Also the chat button screenburns into your phone. Screw this game. Edit : This game Cheats. I was in a game, and after my first play, I never got a second turn. It was just opponent turn after opponent turn for no reason. Spend your time on literally anything else.

Fun, but is in desperate need of balancing. I decided to download this game a couple of weeks ago. Since then, I’ve played it just about every day and have had fun doing it. The art style is great, the mechanics are simple, but near perfect, and the collectible cards are unique and fun. However, my one big complaint is that some cards are just ridiculously overpowered. I have found this especially in the ironclad types. At the beginning of a game, other players are able to play overpowered cards for very cheap. When these particular cards are played in the first one or two rounds, you can be almost certain you will lose that game. Overall, the game is great, but definitely needs to be more balanced. Note to developers: Most cards that directly attack your base more or, “Deal damage to enemies in front” need to be nerfed, or at least cost more mana. If a player plays these cards within the first rounds, there’s no way you can stop them, and you almost instantly lose the game.

fun at first.... when you first start playing it’s real fun and new, but once you get your cards up to level three then it’s all downhill from there. you’ll suddenly be getting matched with people with all level five cards, the algorithm for what cards in your hand starts to become shady, to say the least,(almost as if the system purposely holds off on giving you the card that should be in rotation until the point where you don’t need it anymore, while at the same time, your opponent gets the same perfect cards every other turn, and vise versa)but really the worst thing is that the game can actually be fun. it also looks really nice. but there is just something off about it... and some will say “get good” but the thing is, you’ll be playing with the EXACT SAME DECK and be losing nonstop, but then start playing some hours later, and suddenly you are winning nonstop; it makes no sense. the rotation of cards NEEDS to be fixed, the matching algorithm needs to be fixed, certain overpowered cards need to be removed, and there needs to be less “divine luck” that plays into the game. not salty just wish this game did a better job and let the skill of the player play a larger role in the outcome of the game. 5/10 give it a shot if you’re bored, but don’t say i didn’t warn ya

Magic the Gathering meets Clash Royale. I am a fan of Clash Royale but it was getting lame. Who ever can spam the most soldiers wins. But this game!! This game requires strategy, brain power and intellect. I absolutely love the art style as well! Also having the line of where you can deploy your troops and how it moves forward is another really cool little bit that adds another layer to the game. Do I obliterate the opponent’s forces right in front of my base, or do I try to hold my position so far up on the field? Do I gamble playing a spell in hopes he doesn’t have any more troops? Or how should I deploy more soldiers so that they can make it all the way to the other side? I absolutely love this game. It takes out the infuriating frustration of Clash Royale and delivers a game of casual play but with a Magic the Gathering like twist on it. I would give this game 10 stars if possible.

Great game, pay system need fix. I LOVE this game and it has great strategy! It’s a mix between a CCG and board game. Very fun and really makes you think. However, I find it very hard to get new cards to upgrade or get new units. You only really earn gold for free by completing quests, and you can rarely can get gems for free (mostly you have to pay for gems). I always spend a little money on games I like and play because the people who design and market it should get paid (especially if it’s deserving). However there is only one 3 card random pack you can buy or 3 singles up for sale which cost a lot of gold especially if not a common. I think their whole pay/earn system needs to be fleshed our more. I think the whole pay system needs to be re-thought in all app games! Ok, so there may be a FEW people who sink $100 into a game, but if games sold more things for $.50 or $1 or $2 or $3 think about how many impulse buys people would make. You can still keep the $20-$100 packs. But people would lose track and wouldn’t feel so bad about making small transactions. Kind of like old arcades... just my opinion. They also need some way to emote or communicate during 2v2 matches! It’s annoying not being able to communicate or say anything during a match! They need more campaigns after the initial 4, that would be nice also! But all boiled down it is a really fun game!

Good Idea, Horrible execution. Stormbound was a great idea. Combining cards, cool graphics, and strategy makes a great game however the gameplay is awful and there is very little variety. The only 2 game modes are Ranked and Brawl. Winning a ranked match only gives you one star so a win isn’t satisfying and offers no real reward. Losing a match is also frustrating because matches take very long and to earn back multiple stars is a hassle. Brawl is interesting and offers a twist to regular game mode, and it gives you real rewards. However, after winning 2 games you have to spend coins which you can only receive through the daily bounties and winning ranked games, and they give very few coins. Earning cards is also insanely difficult. The only way to earn cards is to get them through rare booklets from ranking up or buying them in the store. Since card level affects the game more then strategy and deck-building skills the game is a pay-to-win. You constantly go against people that are higher level than you and that have higher level cards. Others that pay real money also have rarer cards that are stronger and destroy you. This game is also very slow, the mana increases very slowly and you have to wait for your opponent to make a move which could take up to 30 seconds every time. This game is just frustrating, overrated and honestly isn’t worth downloading.

Good Concept… Very Disappointing Execution. Stormbound is an amazing card game idea with beautiful designs, but is unfortunately plagued with an incredibly blatant pay-to-win mechanic. I got the opportunity to play Stormbound very early on in its life about 4-5 years ago and found it exactly what I was looking for at the time. The game’s overall immaculate design and well thought through UI in a Turn Based strategy simulator was the perfect presentation to spend HOURS upon HOURS playing with. Everything from early-game mechanics to the community itself is very open to beginners. Unfortunately, the upfront and easy to learn mechanics is just a false sense of security as when you progress through the game’s more pay-to-win mechanics tend to show. As you realize your once favorite decks and play styles die out to other competitors who have PAID to get their hands on unbalanced legendary or epic cards which have the capacity to completely change the tide of a game that could have ended far differently without them. It becomes very obvious that the developers gave very over powered cards to the Swarm and Shadowfen factions as they are the primarily used decks throughout the game. If the developers just balanced the game in comparison to other factions than this game would EASILY become 5/5 stars, but unfortunately it remains at 3 stars solely for its very interesting game design and gorgeous art style.

Great Game. I got this game years ago on a random whim and I have keeps it up for years now. I even got some of my friends to play the game and they still play intermittently after years as well. The only issue with this game is how long it takes to level up your cards. I have had the game for years and don’t have a single level 4. With that said I don’t grind every day but it still is a little annoying. They do give you more gold per win then you used to get (up from 5 to 10) but it is still very slow. Another gripe is that because of faction restrictions in is very difficult to combine class based cards like dragons, cats or elders into decks that synergise. Some classes just don’t work at all for certain factions if you want a deck that actually wins games. If they added more cards from each class into each faction and made it easier to get cards the game would be reaching perfection. Oh also they just made it take longer to climb the ranked latter which is super annoying. It already took long enough since some even matchups can make games last upwards of 30 minutes. Bring the original wining streak bonuses back pleas.

Great but needs balancing. I honesty love playing games like these ones especially since hearthstone is my favorite online card game and this game uses a similar style to that. But also like hearthstone, at least half of the cards in the game are unbalanced. I’m fine with the idea of cards having different rarities and values and what not, but that doesn’t mean one card should clearly be better than others. Rarity should really only effect well... how rare it is. On top of that, most if not all buildings are incredibly op. Since I’m only iron 2 subset 2, the only spell I have to destroy buildings is one that does 3 damage, but in the situation where I don’t get that card in my starting hand but my opening gets some building, I’m already starting with a strong disadvantage that will ultimately lead to my defeat. There’s also the chance that they have a building with 4, not 3 health which will also give me a disadvantage. Not only that, but literally all it takes to get your value out of a tower is for it to use its power once and your already even in value, then it only gets worse for your opponent. This game could be so much better if you fixed these imbalances.

Fun, addictive and easy to learn. I used to play games like Hearthstone and MTG, I started playing hearthstone in beta so I learned as I went along. For MTG it took a while because of just how much cards there were and the complexity of it. This game is so easy to pick up because the tutorial alone. My playing the campaign you are slowly introduced to all of the cards making it very easy. Not only that but the polygonal design is amazing. The game is also relatively balanced. There are a few op cards, but you have to make your own entire deck based on that one card for it to work so then it is just like any average deck. It is very easy to get the basic cards and enough to be competitive in the game just by finishing the campaign then playing online. This is one of the best mobile games that I have ever played. At least give it a try, it’s free.

Perfect Balance. It’s been a long time since I’ve played a mobile game this extensively. The game is a more strategic and balanced version of ClashRoyal. The cards used are far more balanced and the ranking system prevents higher level players from dominated newcomers. They have just updated the game and have balanced the cards even more. I thought this was astounding. The cards they chose to weaken were the ones I found to be overpowered. If your opponent had them, they were at an extreme advantage. It’s really good to see that the game balance is being taken care of and not focused on pay to win. There are options to buy more card packs with cards of a “higher tier”, but I have found those to be just as balanced as the beginning cards. Two things I’d like to see in future updates: custom friend matches and more story mode.

Unbalanced and P2P. This game seems like easy and challenging content but this is where they trick you. I have played the game for almost 2 months but that is it. They have you play against computers to build up a feel for the game but once you play against people it is a whole other ballgame. The strategies implemented by players are always the same. Over the course of a month, a player favorite is “dragon matriarch” followed by “dangerous suitors” a spawn spam combined with strength growth, respectively. This is implemented early game and can not be stopped easily making your life that much more miserable when you try desperately to recover only to have them spam the tactic again and win easily. Another is P2P. Where you have either played the game for months on end to achieve or spent hundreds of dollars on. Cards have a leveling system making them that much better but to achieve these level ups you need duplicate cards that you get from pulls. Here is where P2P comes into play since common cards are well... common to obtain it is easy to lvl them up and have over powered cards over players who do not make such purchases. In short this game is nothing but rubbish for claiming strategy when the only strategies are either spam dragons or spend cash. If you have read this far congrats now never look at this game again.

TCG meets Wargame. Expect multiple years of grinding if you decide to completely upgrade your entire collection. However, upgrading a few decks to the highest level while playing free-to-play is relatively easy. Reaching the uppermost ranks requires between 5 and 10 months of decent play, which is reasonable enough. Pros: Fun and varied card mechanics Decent friend system which makes it simple to add players you've met in-game and play with them Very quick matchmaking that takes level into account Very attentive dev team that engages in dialogue with the community at large Quick deck import/export Multiple game modes keep things spicy Cons: A few too many cards to time-intensively collect and upgrade. Some cards are virtually identical to one another insofar as stats. Some cards are nearly completely worthless, pointedly inferior to others, or designed around unrealistic scenarios. The new developers have steadily remedied these problems, but some cards have ascended to in-jokes as a result of going unbuffed for years. Inability to spectate any matches. I don't know about you but this has always been one of my favorites, just spectating matches back and forth with a friend to learn their playstyle. These are small issues but are still important to players, which makes it all the more heartening that they're actively being looked into. I leave a 5 star review to thank the dev team for the progress that they've made.

Tactics in style. The game is beautiful, and the style fits so well with the nuggets of storytelling woven unexpectedly throughout the game. More importantly, it’s inventive and really fun. If you enjoy seeing your plans unfold, outwitting opponents or admiring their clever tactics, this game is for you. If you don’t enjoy wasting time on game mechanics that don’t build a cohesive experience, this game is absolutely for you. Everything you think about here or spend time on focuses on a fun core game. The play styles of each faction feels viable, unique, and each very interesting. I see other people recommending ironclad decks, I think it’s better to lean into the faction that suits your play style. I’ve found more success with a swarm deck. My one piece of advice I wish I could tell myself before starting was to try more play styles and factions before committing points to any route.

So much perfection.. This is the best strategic, yet casual, yet exciting, card battler arena (?) game out. Whatever the sub-genre is, this is the one. The art is so great, huge Monument Valley vibes. Stormbound gives me the thrill of a short-deck card battler without anxiety going through the rough to spam cards on a battlefield. It’s turn-based mana progression with four card hands, and a chess-board layout that fuses placement tactics with card abilities. There’s a campaign that rewards deck builds, not without a challenge though. Don’t pick this up expecting to be a god within minutes because you think the developers are trying to rope you into buying something. Powerful cards and builds have an effect but strategy is of the utmost importance, more so with a fighting chance than other similar games. I think if the devs can keep this game fair, Stormbound will go on as legend. It’s free and it’s well worth the download for an entertaining, visually appealing, and mentally stimulating experience.

It could be awesome but.... Its such a good concept. The countless cards and addicting game play make this one of the best strategy games I've played... Until I started meeting players with completly unfair cards. One card allows the player to use their remaining mana to buff the character they just played, 2 buff for each mana. A cool concept but the problem is this card only cost five mana. So near the end of the game when each player gets 20 mana the enemy was able to place that card for 5 mana, and the 15 remaining mana give him a 30 buff???? 30 level card that stormed through my defence with no problem, despite putting all my mana into defeating it... Definetly wasn't a fun match at all for me. Building cards feel way too op too including the card that deals 2 damage to my base each turn. All my opoenent had to do was sit back and protect his building, laughing as he won the game in 5 turns while I couldn't do anything about it...????? And I couldn't use execute on it either which only does 3 damage and the building is 4....

Great game, but prices outrageous. So I want to start by saying this game is great. I’ve played for a while and it’s a really fun strategy game that is pretty easy to pick up. I’ve noticed though that normally you can tell if your going to win, lose or be close just at the start. If you look at the health of the building you will see if it is more or less than yours. Now what determines your building health is how many times you’ve upgraded your cards. Now when you see someone with a higher health you know you will lose. It’s a very frustrating thing to not even have a chance. For the most part you get people who are about as good as you. Another thing I noticed is that all of the prices for the paid for things are too high. Either you pay a dollar and get just about nothing, or you pay a lot and still not get that much. Yes I kind of like that because then it’s not as much of a pay to win kind of thing, but I think there should be like when you get the game a 1 dollar deal that is actually good so that you can get right into competing with some better people. I don’t know if you already have that, but if you don’t add it in. Either way though, I love this game, and would definitely spend a couple dollars on it if the prices matched the reward.

Gotta continue giving 3 stars. Can’t edit my last one for some reason rip. Anyways, matchmaking almost a year later is the same. I’m glad brawl is different now and that the team is working to try and fix things and make the game better, but brawl is still impossible for newer players. Getting matched against someone 3 leagues above you almost every match is very annoying (level 4 cards against level 2 cards isn’t very fair so all you’re doing is hoping to get matched fairly to get at least 2 crowns from a draw or a fair fight in general). Really love the game, but still, almost a year (my last reply was on June 11th if I remember correctly of 2021) and the matchmaking issue still isn’t fixed or balanced out yet. Last one I’m going to mention here is that paying to win spans until the latest league, where cards are maxed out anyways. It boosts players in the earlier games which isn't fun to go against, but I will say that it is nice to know that F2P players will catch up eventually…

Really well Balance and FUN!. This game is incredibly balanced and fun. If you think that having legendary cards and upgrading cards is the only way to win let me tell you that strategy come first of course this give you an advantage but I have beaten oponentes with increíble decks with some well though out strategies. Also the ranking process lets you always play some one more or less you level. Your ranking resets every month which I like and at the beginning of the month you may find high level players battling in lower ranks but this filter out fairly quickly as they move up and you battle your way to at your own pace. Hope they don’t screw this game up. DONT FIX WHAT WORKS. Also, Not sure if there is one but they should publish computer a version of the game on steam with multy plataforma matched to make this game more competitive and to create a community. It would be fun.

Great but young. I’ve been playing this game since it’s release and I love it. There’s a ton of strategy mixed in with a little luck. And the illustration is fantastic. The only thing that is really bothering me and is making me play less is the obvious “pay to win”. You can pay for better cards which is fine because at the end of the day the devs need to make money. However, make in game grinding for better cards not so difficult. When you win a game you only get 5 gold and games can be as long as 20 minutes. To upgrade a basic card it costs 50 gold. To purchase a book of 3 cards it costs 100 gold. To guarantee yourself a rare card you need 50 rubies. Do the math. It takes a LONG time to get good cards while people are just buying the best cards. I think that players should be rewarded more and in turn they’ll want to play more. It’s no fun constantly getting beat by someone because they only have a deck of rare cards they bought as an add on. There’s no sense of real competition!

League Card Level Locks No Bueno. Guys, I love this game. I’ve been playing for years. That said, I am really NOT a fan of the card level locks in the most recent update. I’ve worked extremely hard to claw my way up into Gold and Platinum on occasion, and use the rewards to build a more powerful deck to get and stay there. The lvl 3 card lock for Gold has undone so much work by people like me. What about all the time and resources we’ve spent upgrading our cards to be more competitive in higher leagues? It’s nothing now. Any old yahoo with a lower level deck can come fight up there who HASN’T put in all this work. I LOVE the strategy aspect, but the past work required for a strong deck has now taken a significant blow. AND my strategy has had to decidedly be altered because I rely on certain card abilities at their given level. The system worked fine before; good strategists could still punch up, but the hard workers had it a little easier to stay there.

Why you should get this game.... I have been playing Stormbound since it's release, and have been observing its growth for some time now. Stormbound is hands down the best mobile game I have ever played or seen for a long time. Stormbound weaves between rigid strategy that defines most of the game, and colorful luck, which adds excitement and tension. When Stormbound released the dragon cards I was a bit skeptic, and again, when Stormbound flipped the stats for a majority of the games cards I was doubtful. Despite these setbacks, I have played consistently, and have been rewarded by these changes potential. The only flaws with Stormbound is the fact that one can spend money to buy pretty much any card, or upgrade their decks to become super powered monsters. Anyway, their are almost no ads, a decent card selection, and it's a beautiful game. Stormbound exists as a beautiful dance of strategy and wit. THANKS TO THE DEVELOPERS! YOU ROCK!

Great but has one issue. The game is really good. The graphics are amazing, cards are getting balanced, and the gameplay is pretty fun. Overall, the game is great, but the only thing you really need to do is to implement strategy. Strategy is a key component to this game, and not having it makes it really hard to play and enjoy. So if you read a angry review saying “This game is so broken anything is unfair” heb it’s just some person who doesn’t know what strategy is. Even though this is overall a good game, I feel like there is one bad thing. With the new brawl mode, which gives you a whole new way to strategize and play, the only issue is thy e level of a player. I started playing this game about 5 months ago, and I have a pretty descent deck, for my level(level 12). The problem I’m getting at is that almost every time I play a brawl, I’m constantly matched with level 14s, 15s, and so on. This makes it hard for me to really enjoy brawl when I basically waste all my gold getting trashed on by really good players. I know how I said that all you need to do it implement strategy, but strategy sometimes won’t always work when you are severely under leveled and under powered. Besides this, the game is awesome, but if this was fixed, I would love it even more.

Solid gameplay, yet feels slightly pay to play. I love everything about this game, except how long it takes to get to end game. I’m fortunate to have the means, and have dropped about $1000 total on currency... Yet I still have only a handful of level 4 cards. And not a single level 5 card. I can only imagine how long it would take a person only willing to spend $10-20 total to reach the end game. This creates a constant feeing that you have to spend more money to be able to compete, as typically when losing the person crushing you has stronger cards. After playing (and definitely enjoying) this game for months, spending way more money than I’ve ever spent on a game, I’m still farrrr from maxing out any card, let alone a full deck. And as the gameplay significantly changes as certain cards gain new functionality at higher lever, the Pay-to-Play vibes are strong with this game.

Solid Game, don't be fooled by the whiners. This game has quickly become one of my favorite games on mobile that I'll keep for quite a while. There's solid strategy coupled with rng as well as progression with your rank and upgrading cards and your deck. Now some people will say it's pay to win, or all RNG but that's just not true. I have over 20 hrs in this game and I haven't spent a single penny and I still enjoy the duels and feel like I can outplay my opponent every time. Whether or not I do is up to me and also how they play. The reason it's not 5 stars is because there are some mechanical things I disagree with that I feel like hurt the game, as well as most cars packs are behind micro transactions, which is frustrating but understandable. This is Kongregate. It would be cool to see two different online battles, ranked and unranked. That way new people don't get thrown against veterans at the beginning of the ranked season. But all in all, solid game, and a much better and quicker style alternative to something like Hearthstone

Blatant Cash Grab. Stormbound is a game with interesting mechanics, a unique art style, and a lot of replay value. I say this because this one star review is with good reason. The game is designed to give players who pay money a larger advantage then those who do not. The most recent update has exacerbated the problem and made it unfair for those who do not have the money to spend on it. First they upped the number of cards it takes to upgrade things, incentivizing the purchasing of packs, which for the most part require rubies (this games micro-purchase currency). Then they took the price to upgrade cards from a scaled system, costing more gold to upgrade as the rarity of the card increased, to an equal system. In doing this they raised the price to upgrade cards to the max level (level 5) for commons and rares. This further incentivizes the purchase of packs with guaranteed epics or higher as they take less cards and an equal amount of money to upgrade. The game is slowly but surely adding or changing mechanics to reward pay-to-win players. Update as of 1/7/23: I’ve been playing since nearly the beginning and I cannot keep up with the meta even while constantly playing. New cards come out weekly, it’s balanced monthly. Which in theory is good, in practice it has compounded the earlier problems. To be the best at this game, especially starting out brand new, you need to spend money on it. This is no longer just a pick up and play game.

Good Game gets stale. First off the campaign is too short four lvls for four factions is really short. I would maybe put a story line or a bunch of levels and condition and preset boards for the campaign overall playing offline has its merits. Second the sound track kinda sounds the same maybe add more soundtracks in match have them alternate it kinda feels cold and boring and maybe something more intense. Third I’m fine with slow updates but maybe not that slow a major update is once a few months or every year makes me get bored. I also want to address maybe buff and nerfs more often for a new meta. I have some ideas for future updates 2nd faction slowly every month introducing a new faction a total a four every few years hopefully every year. I also think maybe add cosmetics to certain things like the base maybe have difference fields on each side and in the midde have a blank area they don’t do anything but mark the territory mostly for looks.

Very fun game, but.... This is a very fun game, quite a bit of variety, very interesting and fun. You can build your own deck with your choice units and the cards usually have abilities that can turn the tide of the battle. However, this game is not balanced. I do realize that at least 1/3 of this game is about luck, luck of what cards you get and luck of the draw while fighting but most games don't make you worry about luck of the player pool. "What do I mean" you may ask. What I mean is this: picture the game as a large pool with all the players swimming in it. Low level players at the shallow end and high level players in the deep end. Most games, you stay in the pool and stick to your area, slowly working up and progressing to differently skilled players. This game however rips you out of the water, carries you a mile up then throws you back into the pool, not caring where you land. What I am trying to say is, I am a beginner, and I can not personally say I have had much luck with cards. I keep running into high level people with 12 health bases compared to my 10 health base(yes, that is quite a difference) with at least a potion of strength that, compared to my add 5 strength adds 8. So, in conclusion, it is a very fun game but improperly balanced. I do recommend you get it because it is free and if anything, play with your friends, just stay with it until the problem is fixed, it is a really fun game which I believe is worth the wait.

Great game that has a lot of potential to be the next hearthstone. Stormbound plays amazing, it’s well polished, beautiful, and is pretty easy to get into and understand. It’s like a combination of clash royal, hearthstone, magic, and chess and I find it much less daunting to get into then hearthstone. I’m not a fan of leveling systems in tcg’s, especially when it comes to your own health but I think it’s still great. I’d also prefer more “books”(their like card booster packs) instead of just the four kingdoms and the dragon ones. I play dragons although I could understand why people playing some other faction may get upset. Artworks also amazing and I feel like adding some sort of premium cards that don’t affect the gameplay but have more detailed art and do the shiny thing that legendary’s do might be a good way to get people who like the game and are willing to spend money on something just to make their deck look even better.

All things considered:. For those of you with no knowledge of Stormbound; in the simplest terms this game is a turn based card game that uses a board like chess to strategically plan out your moves. I have been playing this game for about half a year. I’m level 13 and rank platinum 5, and what I’ve found is that although sometimes you are ranked against opponents that are much higher level than you (i.e level 17 with level 4 legendaries), there is almost always a way to outsmart them or use a more effective deck composition to beat them. A lot of other reviewers with complain about matchmaking being unfair but from a logistical standpoint, the Devs do as much as they can in order to make matchmaking fair, and for the most part, it is. There are some small glitches, like sometimes when swapping cards, one will get stuck on the screen, and there is no indicator when you have poor wifi. Additionally some things, such as the new Brawl game mode are badly balanced (rewards are not worth the cost at a certain point, assuming a 1:1 win/loss ratio, or even a 3:2 in some cases), but overall, the game is a challenging and interesting game that has kept me playing for over half a year.

New factions long overdue / lack of content. Used to love this game when it first came out a few years ago. Just came back and unfortunately not much has changed about it. I assume the developers have shifted their attention and energy onto other projects which is very disheartening considering the potential this immersive card game had to rival alongside with popular mobile games such as clash of clans, pokemon go, and even gwent or south parks phone destroyers. I remember the main factor that held this game back were the micro-transactions that made it feel like a pay to win game. That weight has lightened over the years but it still feels very much the same. Also the lack of content for the game hasn’t progressed much. They definitely need to add in more factions and develop new interesting maps and modes and ways for you to interact with other players in the community using the app. I’m probably cherry picking but man what a let down to what could have been so promising for many people. Still a solid game for when you’re stuck on the toilet

Please fix this. I played the game on my Samsung, I got pretty far in terms of level and obtaining cards, I had replaced my Samsung with an iPhone and all my data was gone even though I had a kongregate account, so I sucked it up and decided to start from scratch. After a couple months I have gotten even farther than before and was quite happy with game. But since this new update it has started me over all the way to he beginning, forcing me yet again to start over from the beginning. Please I’m begging you to fix this. Have some kind of data save program or save my progress to my account and restore my progress please (Edit) They have fixed my progress thank you very much, this game is very addictive fun and simple, if you like strategy games you will love this game, and there is only ads when you need to upgrade a pack thing so it isn’t annoying with ads popping up every 5 seconds. All in all one of my favorite phone games.

Masterpiece Game. This game is a simple strategy card game with beautiful art style and insane live action chess-like gameplay. If you enjoy 1v1 card battles against other people, you can create epic decks with key objectives. Brawls add another element of fun to the game, allowing players to rethink there decks and strategy’s based on the current buff of brawls. Ive made it to diamond leauge and have enjoyed this game for years. My only issue is the pay to play players. I’m not talking about the 22 health veterans that have played this game since launch, I’m talking about the 17 health players that turn one play a max level Collectors Mirz. These players have paid there way to the top, causing games to become incredibly unbalanced with no real indication by there health that you’re gonna lose. Don’t get me wrong, most of my cards are maxed level too, but non of them are legendarys. So the second I see a maxed leveled one, I’m better off conceding. I really love this game, and have no major issues with it. I will continue to play it regardless of what they change or implement, I just wish legendary cards would available to purchase with gems instead of money. I know I can win them in brawls, but good luck trying. I use up all my gold just getting the first set of fusion stones

Balancing issues. The game is enjoyable with a unique spin on typical collectible card games, but it falls short on one important front: balancing. There are plenty of cards in this game that are so blatantly overpowered compared to others that I’m shocked they didn’t realize it during play testing. The only logical explanation is that the devs made the cards overpowered intentionally, which ridiculous. The biggest offender of this is a card called curse of strings. It allows you to take control of an enemy creature with 12 or less power at level 3 for 7 mana. Getting a creature with 12 power for 7 mana is quite strong for level 3, but you also STEAL 12 power from your opponent AND gain board position. If curse of strings power was halved (6 instead of 12) it would still be quite powerful. I cannot believe cards like this are in the game that offer no counter play and lose you the game on the spot. The game deserves a solid 4 star rating if it were not for this issue. I hope cards like this get rebalanced in the near future or I’ll be forced to stop playing as the game is not fun when you lose to the same Broken card over and over.

Hope you like playing 5 games a month. This game is such a cash grab. You can upgrade cards, but getting the third level upgrade for a single card has taken me 5 months of ranked rewards. I get hardly any ranked rewards because past Iron, the first level of ranked, the game is no longer skill based - it’s based on how upgraded your cards are. There is no limit to the number of high level cards or even legendary cards you can put in your deck, but you do not even start out with one legendary. In fact, after 5 months of spending all of my rewards on chests I still do not have a legendary. You could have the exact same deck as someone, draw and play the exact same cards as them and they will win 100% of the time as their cards are so much stronger. The game has so much skill potential but it is ruined by your need to spend exorbitant amounts of money to be competitive at higher levels, and even then the lower ranked games are boring because they cannot match your power. In conclusion I would say don’t bother getting this game if you are looking for something to play more than once a month when ranks reset.

Fun and Unique Game. This game is really fun. It relies on the strategic movement of units in a way that echoes back to chess, while also adding in a diverse deck building element, and a healthy amount of luck! A lot of players have mentioned the pay to win elements, but in my opinion, the premium options are more balanced than in many other games. In this game, you do have the ability to slowly upgrade your cards without spending anything, and you can still have a lot of fun matches playing this way. I have a friend who has made it all the way to Diamond 1 without ever buying a card, and while he certainly runs into premium decks, a good strategy and high level cards can compete with a poorly managed deck of all epics and legendaries. If you don’t want to spend money, be patient and recognize it might take several splits for you to upgrade your cards enough to actually achieve that new max rank. The games aren’t too long, and the simple emoji system occasionally creates some really funny interactions. The one concern I have is regarding the sometimes unfair matchmaking. While this is likely an inevitability in order to keep wait times as low as possible, it is disheartening matching up against a player that is clearly much weaker or stronger than you, to the point where no strategy can overcome the disparity.

(BROKEN) Broken Earth Drakes. Been playing for 2 years now and I must say this game is my favorite card game of all time. Even better than Magic the Gathering and Clash Royale and I’ve played both for much longer than this one. I appreciate all the balances and updates made to this game it keeps it fresh, appealing, and still fun. But over the past few months I’ve had to deal with a literal beast that I cannot get over and that is the Broken Earth Drakes card introduced sometime last year. The card is placed in a deck that already specializes in board wipes and mana ramp so to put such a cheap destructive creature that has no weaknesses or downsides within the Pact is mind-boggeling. I find it to be extremely overwhelming when dealing with Winter Pact as is, because of the slow monotonous play style that it wields, adding a card that wipes the entire enemy board for little to no mana in this mana heavy deck is pretty frustrating. Partnering it with a dragon-centric deck is pretty much game over for the opponent and I believe more than half of my opposition has already figured that out. I hope you take into consideration my comments on this card and look into better balances for it later on but until then I’ll try my best to work around it. Anyways there’s my two cents thank you for this phenomenal game, keep up the good work.

Adding Friends. First I want to start off by saying that this game is amazing and definitely worth getting to know, I’m in love with this game and I’ve had it for about a year now. I just came from a game in which my opponent and I were so evenly matched that the game lasted a little over 40mins (quite unusual, most matches are much shorter), and I wanted to add them so I wrote down they’re player name, but to add friends it requires their player ID which as far as I know you can only get from them sharing it with you via text. In game I currently have no friends since no one I actually know plays the game, and I don’t even know if there is more to Stormbound to do with in game friends (although I’m assuming there is since otherwise the feature would be pointless). I believe the more activities to do with in game friends, the better the game will do, and this game is definitely worth it. Anyway my hope is that the developers will add a feature that lets you add players by requesting them by player name as well, as the developers do significantly update the game intermittently.

Fun but monetization feels unfair. While the game itself is fun the campaign feels overtuned: fighting the AI feels more like waiting for it to ignore a move and leave an opening rather than an actual challenge. At the 4th level of each campaign the AI gets a legendary and a deck with a win condition that’s optimized, while you have to hope your cards are drawn in the necessary order and the redraw feature tends to feel mostly useless or detrimental. The Battle(PVP) aspect is the core part of it but it’s either really imbalanced or never meant to be truly “competitive” due to the complete randomness of “skill matching”. I’ve fought against a player that was both inexperienced and lacked cards and won easily and the next game found myself against someone with an entire Dragon Deck including a Legendary Dragon. In that sense it feels immensely pay to win. I truly enjoy the game but some aspects feel incredibly unbalanced when compared to a game like Clash Royale, which I dislike immensely. I’ll keep playing the game but won’t likely spend a cent on it until it feels fair to do so.

Great game, small bud fixes needed. I love this game and have played it on and off for years now. I love the deck building, with the different types of cards having their own abilities, it’s very well thought out and the constant updates keep the cards balanced. That being said, I have noticed recently that when collecting rewards I am only getting a small percentage of what the reward said I would get (I.E. I win 4 games and instead of the listed 150 coin reward I get like 30) and on top of that, I’ve noticed that I will upgrade a card after finally finding enough cards to upgrade it, and in game it will still be the same as before I upgraded it. Not huge problems but can get frustrating making a deck surrounding one or two cards and then they don’t even turn out to be upgraded in game. Still a 5 star game no question, but maybe balance the dragon decks again lol.

Very balanced. I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years now. Gaming is a big hobby of mine so you can imagine I’ve played many great games, but I can officially say this is my favorite. With the beautiful artwork and well-balanced factions, this game is good to play both competitively AND for fun. The fact that you don’t have ads yelling at you after every match is also a plus. This game doesn’t have ads UNLESS you want to watch them to gain extra cosmetics. (I personally avoid that) Do be advised that this game takes practice, you will probably lose a lot of matches when you start playing. It takes time to learn the specialties of each faction and how to counteract specific cards. But don’t let this discourage you, this game is well worth your time. If you’re a fan of real-time strategy and/or card collecting games, you’ll fall in love.

Brawl Mode is Completely Unbalanced,Pay to Win Game (Hopefully will change though). This game would be pretty good if they added some sort of balance to the brawl mode (the mode that gives you the most rewards) and made it where people can actually fight others on their level as opposed to fighting someone with cards 2x better than themselves almost every time. The only other thing that happens is when someone has lower level cards than you and you just trample them. Its not even fun. After a year of playing this game I have only played about 5 matches where it really came down to skill in this mode, not just who payed the most money on the game to get the best cards. This game used to be good and more about strategy and just having fun, but one can easily tell that they are making this game more and more pay to win as time goes on. All in all, it could be a fun game if the developers focused more on balanced matches than just trying to milk as much money out of the game with the least amount of effort. -Hope this helps, PHILLIAMWILLAS

Cool game ruined by PAY TO WIN. Let me start by saying that the concept of this game is really cool! This deck builder style game with strategic chess like elements which requires both smart plays and patience to succeed, is however held back by its blatant pay to win mechanics. You start out with very few variations in cards after completing each deck campaign, encouraging you to purchase packs simply to have an adequate starting deck. Ok that's not new. The problem is that you can also upgrade each card to be stronger, requiring multiples of the same cards. Victories earn very few coins, cards and upgrades cost a lot, and the whole thing falls down to a "you can grind a bit each day for 5 days or just pay some money for the same thing". It's shameless but nothing new in the mobile game industry. Frustrating is matchmaking where you are often pitted against players whose cards are upgraded much further than yours so playing the same cards gets you beat every time. It takes a lot of the strategy out of the game and replaces it with the necessity to prepare before matches, often through buying upgrades and card packs. It's a real shame because this game could be so much better if sucking your money out of you wasn't such a high priority. That is unfortunately a backbone of the industry that gaming has become and this game has no issue embodying it at all. If you want a fun card based combat game to play a few rounds each day, this isn't really your game.

Addicting Gameplay!. This is a simplistic but yet deep, thrilling, and beautiful game. It’s easy to pickup and understand, with a starting deck for you so you don’t feel overwhelmed from the beginning. This game has a culmination of very unique cards from each of the 4 different factions, as well as the neutral faction. You’re allowed to make a deck with neutral cards, and from one specific faction. I love this because it helps to balance out each faction so you can’t have too many great cards. And ugh the art in this game is outstanding! Beautifully designed cards and animations for every unit, and sounds effects. Also different faction stages that have their own sound effects! At times there may seem to be different cards that may be a little over/under powered, but with more playing time you learn and master how to use certain cards and decks which make this game all the better. A couple things that I would like added into this game bluntly would be tournaments that you can set and bid different in game currencies, guilds/clans possibly to help you get some friends and just simply talk about Stormbound, and more ways to earn in game currency. Overall, I highly recommend this game as it is very fun and you can play with friends, and it is constantly being updated with balances and additions to keep the game fresh and fun!

Good game but needs balance changes. The game itself is really fun. I enjoy the variety of decks and the play styles each offer. Where this game falls apart though is the leveling. In the ranked mode, the games primary mode, no matter how well you play you’re pretty much screwed against higher level players. This is a massive issue because you basically become hard locked at certain ranks. I’m tower level 13 and stuck in platinum because I am consistently going against level 16-17 players with cards that have twice my strength at equal the cost to my cards. It becomes very frustrating as I find myself losing to people solely because the strength of their cards and not their skill level. The only real way to avoid this issue is to buy cards which is really disappointing and ruins the gameplay at later ranks. It would make a lot more sense if the ranked mode had set tower and card levels depending on the rank you’re in. Until they add something like this I wouldn’t recommend the game unless you’re willing to spend some cash.

Challenging, but still fun. Stormbound is a very well-made game that mixes board game and deck-building strategies to create a balanced and exciting online strategy game. A wide selection of cards enables a player to build a deck based upon their personal playing styles, and the limit on how many cards can be in you deck forces you to choose wisely. No system is perfect, however. Slight problems in the balancing of the game do exist. Some people complain that the marching system is unfair and that some people use “money decks” to cheat their way to the top. I personally think that Ironclad and Dragon decks need to be a little less powerful. However, the developers are very good about dealing with these issues. “Money decks” are hard to assemble, because nearly all card acquisition is randomized. Frequent card-balancing patches are made. Players are divided into ranks depending on their standings in pvp, so you aren’t likely to face many people that are out of your league (when you do, it’s probably just because someone didn’t play for a long time and hasn’t recovered from the rank reset yet). There are going to be games you lose horribly, but that’s no reason to quit or decide not to download this game. If you lose all the time, revise your deck. Despite what other reviews will tell you, I have found that a well put together deck and a good strategy can win even the toughest of battles.

Changed to make things equal- less than ideal. I have been playing Stormbound since it was released 5 years ago- off and on. I recently logged on and saw my card in gold level are maxed to lvl 3, when I have a few cards (and most of my deck) at 4-5. I’m sad I can’t take advantage of how hard I worked to get them to those 4-5 levels- and don’t like how equal it is now with set levels of the cards. My deck doesn’t operate the same way at lvl 3, and the card I built it around needs to be at lvl 5. Back when it wasn’t a set level for each round the more advanced players would just blast past you each season and honestly I enjoyed seeing them play, and how they played- I learned more, I also feel this new change removes the push to level up cards. Why should I level up to 4 or 5 if I’ll be stuck at gold? Please change it back, it was more fun and more wild in the previous seasons when we could use the cards we worked/grinded for.

Pay to win, if that’s your thing. Relatively easy to get through the first few ranks but after that you mostly can’t win against other people who have higher ranked cards once you reach Bronze or higher. Strategy and trying new decks or card combinations only takes you so far if you don’t have access to the same card as someone else with higher stats or the ridiculous Dragon cards. I don’t mind slowly grinding as FTP but fights also take a long time (about 20 turns on average) before the person who clearly forked out some cash gets the clear upper hand. No thanks.

Decent game. A fun little card game. A little annoying that it rewards heavily those that spend money or who have simply played longer. But still quite addictive. Be carful. More campaign options with an actual story would be amazing! Please and thank you. Also can be very buggy, especially when it comes to playing ads for extra rewards.

Just money maker. After spending almost 1 year playing this game (which was amazing) they just decide to patch the game and nerf a lot of cards and make others completely strong. This is mean a lot of money spent in this year building up my deck for nothing! Now is useless because the game completely change with this new patch! Doing this they just push people to spend more money again (expensive stuff) or like me just decide to leave this comment to let everyone know what actually this game is and delete it forever... Goodbye!

Great Game. The game is amazing and I found absolutely nothing wrong with it. The game never crashes, it runs smoothly and is just fun to play. I really enjoyed this somewhat innovative and unique strategy game and have been for quite awhile now

Excellent deck building strategy. Usually these games dont hold my attention for too long, usually due to the matchmaking being so terrible. But this seems to have this sorted pretty well. You can progress just fine without spending money, but this is one case where I think I might drop a few dollars to support the awesome job these guys have done. I would like a few more lower priced options in the shop though, so you could drop a few dollars at a time, under $10 (I don't care if there aren't the most optimal value). Absolutely love the artwork too. I would pay even more to buy some merchandise with in game artwork, maybe a postcard sized card of the actual deck cards - I have about 8 of those I would buy right this second. Or at shirt. Come on guys, everyone has tshirts these days.

Really good work. The app feels well made and polished, and after my friend introduced me not long ago it has been very fun for a casual player.

Great game. This game is great, not only is it a fun strategy card game with pvp, it also puts you against bots if it can’t find an opponent, so you always have someone to play against!

Bugs. The game is great. I haven’t spent a cent. But there are a few small bugs that i came across. There is a bug that can occur when you drag up the assist screen (when you place your thumb at the very bottom of the screen and drag up) this can cause a huge problem as i am no longer able to place cards down or even click on placed cards to see them, the whole screen doesn’t sense where you are clicking unless you click the ‘end turn’ button which still doesn’t solve the problem My second bug is one that i came across today, i have no idea how it occured but randomly during my game i was not able to place cards in the bottom row unless i placed the card at the very top of the row, however after two rounds i was no longer able to do even that and had to surrender my game because I couldn’t place any cards. Thank you for reading this and i hope it helps you in fixing your game :)

Doesn’t work. I downloaded the game but it won’t get past the first loading screen.

Good game but Cards keeps vanishing. Was happy to see when I got 2 purple card of the same type only to go into the game later to find it missing 😫 Support seems not to care, not sure how to prove it. All that said the game is still quite fun to play.

An okay time waster. For the most part it’s a fun game if you have some time to kill. Frustrating when the opponent clearly has paid for cards but a game which you can still win at. Lucky their is no option for actual talking back and fourth to one and another - the swearing would be out of control, mostly from me.

Love the game but can’t play anymore - resolved. I absolutely loved playing Stormbound, but one day it froze while I was loading the app and hasn’t ever worked again, even when I’ve deleted and reinstalled it. Luckily I saved my progress to my Kongregate account, but it’s still a minor bother. That aside however, this game is an amazing one! Issue has been resolved thanks to support from the developers. I changed my rating to 5 stars. Thanks for the help and this awesome game!

Great. This game is really cool. I was kinda hard at the start but once u gain cards it’s not that bad. But I would like it if there was more to the campaign mode and if it were to have offline access (only the campaign mode)

Awesome!!. Amazing game, just come across the fact that when I try drag a card up, my control centre will sometimes come up instead. Not sure if this is something you can fix, but all round a really fun game!!!

Improvement would make this game amazing. Ok first this game is awesome. It’s beautiful. But I would love to see a couple of things added maybe later in future updates. Such as a battle log to view the enemy’s deck, and also different card models. Instead of the same one. I know the legendary rarity has a unique character design but every other one is the same. That would be great to see. Keep up good work and regular updates.

Great game but needs new ways to play. I love this game in the sense that it has good gameplay, design and strategy building. But I think it needs more modes, events and vibrant ways to play and keep the player motivated.

Great game. The game is great to play. The leveling system, the cards you can unlock and playing with your friends. The only problem I have is that the game is a little bit pay to win. You can tell that someone has spent money because of how OP their cards are. It makes it very hard for people like me to play with play to win people. Other than that the games a blast. Me and my friends love playing it

Amazing game, balanced and almost completely bug free. This game is absolutely perfect, the cards all clearly fit a balancing strategy that makes them all seem viable in certain circumstances, and the skill involved in planning out your deck rotation and all the ways you can completely 180 a situation by “playing your cards right”. There is an element of luck in rotating through your deck but there are plenty of ways of getting creative with the hand you’re given. The game is not pay to win, but rather you can pay for cards that are quite easily earn able. Also the free currency of gold can be aquired very quickly and it can be used to buy from a select 3 cards in the shop that rotate every day or so. You can also reroll these cards by watching an Add if u really want to but I just wait till I see a good card for like 100 gold (you can get 100 gold from playing like 2 games)

Unique but unplayable in current state. The idea of the game is fantastic, battles are quick and fun. However it is a card game with upgradeable cards and when you vs someone who has cards that are at least 2 levels higher than yours you find yourself in a horrible situation, and it happens more often then you might think. The game doesn’t have enough strategy for this kind of a mechanic, and quite honestly this situation has killed the game for me. I get the developers want to make money, but implementing a P2W strategy just wont do. Sadly I cannot recommend this game to anyone so long as this upgradeable cards mechanic remains a massive problem.

Stormbound. Great app devs. Not overly time intensive. Good progression. Would be great, fantastic, awesome if you had the option to be able to fight your own decks/play your friends using pass and play on the same device.

Getting better and better. I’ve been playing for awhile, have not spent a cent but am doing pretty well. The seasonal rewards and daily missions are a wonderful addition from before and can’t wait to see what else you guys have in stock. Looking forward to the changes/improvements.

A suggestion. Great game but I have a suggestion. In the brawls when you win the first prize (one card) could that card be of the tribe that is specialised for the brawl thanks

Good game, could be more ballenced. Fun game, the concept is great, but I feel the game could be more ballenced. I'll pretty often being steamrolled by much cards I can't compete with - I think upgrading cards in a game like this was a big mistake. That all said, the core fame is awesome and worth a try. Please add controller support

Games fun but so unbalanced and unfair when u start to climb ranks. Games fun but as u progress through the ranks u get paired against enemies that are way above your power lvl and just makes for unfair games which leads to loss after loss. No way to progress and upgrade your own decks bc u can’t go through the ranks, making this game ultimately boring bc there is no progression. Needs better matchmaking and balancing of cards bc some are blatantly op and win the games themselves

Please consider lowering your prices.... Statistics not realistic... thank you and nice day to develop new pricing scheme thank you appreciate hard work lower prices good for everyone. Everyone happy and spend all money many thanks. Thanks for all hard work and contribution to lowering prices. Thank you look forward to lowered pricing scheme. Again many thanks appreciate your tough decision making hard work ethic many thanks bye bye now bye.

Beautiful Artstyle and Rad Gameplay!. I'm terrible at the game!, but I know others who have more patience for learning simple yet complex combat systems will enjoy it! The Artstyle is so unique and fascinating as well and one of the main reasons I downloaded it! The only critique I have is that I wish there was a way to earn cards via minigames or sidequests that wasn't the campaign or PvP as I'm struggling a little. But other than that, this is a great game!

.. This is honestly the best game I’ve ever played, the design of the cards and play style make it extremely strategic(and not pay to win) the only thing I’d fix is the PHOE-Nix thing it’s too broken

Fun but what is the point?. I’ve played over this weekend, completed the tutorial, all the campaigns though there is no story involved so they may as well be called increasingly harder games vs CPU, and I’m struggling to find the point or replayability of the game. Otherwise good graphics and sound, great art, and while there are little daily challenges to complete along the way, the gotta catch them all aspect isn’t appealing. Kept up the good work devs but it definitely needs more story content to keep players engaged.

FANTASTIC. This game is amazing. I’d definitely recommend it. You don’t have to spend a cent to enjoy it. I can’t remember seeing any ads at all. It’s a fantastic strategy game, free and you don’t get bombarded by ads every couple of seconds.

Dissapointing update. It takes a long time to build a deck and then you come and change the cards? The field levels itself by acquiring cards doesn’t it? And now some have been changed it seems other cards are hard to combat... eg you changed the chaotic rat but now cards that split into multiple squares can’t be killed... Great game - please don’t mess it up

Fantastic game!!. The game is fantastic really enjoyable and a nice challenge at the same time. The one thing that I would like to point out is the black ice card is to powerful I understand that it’s a rare card but to be far in the game and they play that card containing 40 units it’s to broken. Otherwise really good game hope you continue to update.

Card fix. Stormbound is an amazing game with four different factions that suit your game style. But I am here to talk about restless goats. This card is a good card to push your front line up BUT! It 1 strength and one damage to your own base makes it a almost horrible card to have. I would like to see a buff to this card like 2 units to start of with. Thank you please reply stormbound.

Beware of making Purchases!. Great game, was thoroughly enjoying it. However multiple in app glitches cause time critical defeats and missed rewards. Much more upsetting was an in-app purchase that was not honoured. When reported to support team, had one reply, then ghosted. Currently on my 4th email, requesting compensation and refund. Beware of making purchases in this game!!!

Fantastic Game with its limitations. This game is super fun and has some awesome mechanics. It’s constantly updated and balanced to make it better and add more cards. The downside is that it can absolutely be pay to win and the costs are wildly expensive so I haven’t spent any money personally. It’s gotten better with the league rewards and quest payouts but progress is still a bit slow. Hopefully they keep working on free to play because it’s a really fun game with clever strategy!

Awesome game with potential. Hi again, After your most recent update which is not shown in the version history, I’ve noticed the cards drawn aren’t consistent... I’ve seen people draw and play the same card on their next turn... isn’t that a bit unfair? Please shed some insight on how the cards are rotated in the deck during play. Thanks, Wai Hi, Enjoying the game so far, gameplay is simple but deep. The variety of cards are awesome and a lot of different ways to win. Some thoughts on improvement: Expand on the social aspect, Friends don’t do anything at the moment besides knowing they are online and fighting. Adding on to the social piece, a chat, friendly match, viewing friends profile, match spectate mode. Perhaps look at incorporating features from similar games like Clash Royale. A ladder or tank display, good to see how you’re doing compared to other players. Overall great game, a lot of potential, look forward to future updates.

Very good but match making needs to be improved. This game is amazing but the match making is extremely poor to say the least. I have 11 health for my tower and lvl 1 and some lvl 2 cards yet I am consistently playing against 12 and 13 health towers and lvl 3 cards which is just unbeatable. Not fun at all atm so pls fix this.

Really fun. Great game, and I really enjoy it. The only problem I have is the fact that paying money to get cards gives the people that do an advantage over the people that just want to do it for free, since they can upgrade duplicate cards. Other than that it is so smooth, runs so well on all my devices, and is really fun. Would recommend. A suggestion would be more Player vs Computer games that you can play offline. Would be so cool to do it offline and not use up all my data... again... thankyou👍👍👍

Better ranked system needed..... Stormbound is a good game which I have been playing on and if for a few years now. However, whenever I start playing after a few seasons it is a really big grind to get back to my normal rank. I smash anyone I go up against and it really isn’t fun. A “promotion” system like in league of legends would be great here. Otherwise, a great game!

Minesss. I suggest a mine added to the game, which produces gold and has dungeons in it that have gold in them; the more the dungeons you beat, the more gold per hour you get, and plus, at lv.5 the upgrade point increases the strength of not only surrounding, but all constructs.

Connection issues on my phone. I used to play this heaps as it’s a really enjoyable premium game but as time went on the common occurrence of connection issues ceasing my ability to play turned my away am playing on a mates phone and still enjoying it but still the issue prevails on my phone

Awesome. Really enjoying this game. Great art and music. So far, doesn't feel pay to win. I'm really liking the different cards and putting together my decks.

Amazing but.... This game is amazing! It’s super fun, and great for a quick battle or two. The graphics make this game super stunning, and truly a game worth Apple’s design award. However because of the great graphics, this game does drain battery faster than other games. It isn’t too bad in comparison to other high graphic quality games, but still something to note. Other than that, this game is AMAZING.

Mad game. Beautiful art style. It’s beautiful and fun. Could do with a better story and more depth, but it’s a good game if you don’t wanna waste a whole day, and just wanna enjoy perfectly simple complex gameplay and beautiful, beautiful art styles

Enjoyable. The game is really fun, the mechanics are good and the visuals are beautiful. Personally, i uninstalled it because i hate pvp and here is no exception, there was no more progression through something at one point, and the only playable game mode was the battle one. Still is a good game.

Why we play against bots in new version. All was right before march update , At new update matchmaking changed and we play against bots . Thats ridicules . I will quit if it continues

Get it!. *review update* Brawl mode awesome. Downside - app crashes even more often than it did before! *end review update* Awesome game without paying. Only drama is that it crashes precisely at the end of a round about every 6 rounds or so. You don’t lose awards from the round, but very frustrating none the less.

So far so good.. This game is very good. The adds are optional, it doesn’t feel like you have to spend money to win. The strategy aspect is fantastic.

Lack of AI & Requires Connection at all Times, Spamming Rewards. It’s a really enjoyable game except for the requirement to have an internet connection at all times. It’s also littered with reward spam which is quite over the top. I’d love for a single player game mode to be added

Read this plz. This game is one of the best games I have ever played of not the best game I hope that in the future I can skip the tutorial if I already know how to play. I loved the graphics but the units could have looked a little more similar to the art on the card. Apart from these two things I recommend this game for everybody.

Alters cards after releasing them. I’ve played the game a lot and its usually really fun. And regular updates are a good thing. But regular updates that nerf key cards in decks and suddenly drop the deck from a gold level deck to a bronze are not. If you have to alter cards after releasing them then they weren’t balanced properly in the first place. I’ve dropped the game twice after updates like this and came back. But after the most recent update I’m fed up with it.

Nice!. Very nice game! Lots of fun!

Needs a balancing team. Hi! Loving the game, been playing round after round. But as I do, have been noticing a ton of cards that to need to be tweaked. Judging by the reviews I’m not the only one. I luckily haven’t come across the amhi issue like others have. But a wall of leveled up trueshot posts is damn near impossible to overcome. Some cards can become such an uphill battle where I’ve had rounds last over an hour. Again, I am having a lot of fun with the game, but many cards need to be balanced better.

Kinda fun. It’s a fun game but it seems like a poor imitation of Clash Royale.

Fun game. It is a fun game with some minor problems with balancing with certain cards, but it is a super enjoyable game to play

Duplicate Deck. Love the game! Would be awesome if we had ability to duplicate a deck! Sometimes you have a favourite deck that you just want to try and tweak a little with different cards but don’t want to mess up your existing deck

Offline mode pls!. The game is amazing, but I just wish that I could play offline...

Fun game, unfortunate circumstances.. I’ve been playing this game for a good year or two with a “guest” account, collecting a bunch of cards and almost making it to the Diamond league. However, with this new update, I lost all of my cards and have been forced to start all over. To make matters worse, it was only after the update that I got the message that guest accounts could potentially be compromised, thus making the “warning” absolutely useless. I’ve sinked too much time in this thing to start over so I’m afraid I’ll have to delete this app and move on. Too bad, because the game itself is fun and doesn’t require you to spend money in order to advance.

Fun. Pretty pay-to-win after a while but still fun anyways.

Great game, terrible feature. This is a terrific game, but the mandatory update gets it a lower score. No game should force a player to update in order to play.

Ok game. The game is good but the pay to win in bad some goods cards if you don’t pay you’ll never get what is strategy if you don’t even fight under a fair rule

Addictive! But problems on Apple Silicon. Tried to play on Apple Silicon using the Kongregate login but fails to login... hope they'll fix this soon.

很好玩!. 会推荐给朋友的

Great strategy game. I’ve been playing this game off and on for a few years now. I’m pretty picky with my games but this one’s awesome. Sometimes I go months without playing but the game looks and feels exactly as when I started playing

Great but. This game is godlike but I wish the single player campaign had a little more content

I WISH to see…. I really would like to see game history, like seeing my wins and losses, my winRate ratio for every season, have a look at the opponent’s deck after the match. Things to help a player get more information about his performance and the cards that he is playing, like in the game clash royal it shows the mana ratio of your deck, thats very helpful to see how heavy or light your deck is. I really love the game keep up the good work!

Brilliant!. What an extraordinary, addictive, well balanced game. The only negative side are the new cards that are being created since the last year. Too complex, too random effects. The strategic side is less and less possible now compared to what is was. Another negative change, in my opinion, was the limitation on the level of the cards that can be used, depending of game level you are playing. Now everybody are equal, it changes nothing to buy card upgrades. All the gameplay I have done to upgrade my cards to level 5 are now useless.

The latest update…. I’ve been playing the game a few years. It’s decently fun. But it’s hard to support with actual money. The costs are ridiculous for what’s basically gambling for a digital card. I was considering getting the monthly premium rewards, but this update changed how those rewards are redeemed. It was once a day, but now it’s 24 hours to get the next reward. To optimize you’d have to grab your reward at the exact same time everyday. Even once a day is not great, especially if you’re paying money. It’s kinda crappy that if you miss a day, you lose that reward instead of you know, just getting it since you paid for if. This game IS good, but doesn’t have any good ways to spend actual money on it. So the only way I support the developer is by watching 2-3 ads a day. If they weren’t just whale hunting, maybe more people would be willing to pay.

Last update shat on the non paying playerbase. The Ranked matches similar to the brawls now have limits on card levels. At first glance this sounds like it would make the matches more fair and balanced but this is absolutely not the case. Paying players will have more legendary cards and those cards will be at a higher level, while a non paying player will have few legendary cards at all. The non paying player therefore must grind away the non legendary cards till they’re maxed out and comparable with at least the mid level legendary cards to sort of match up with paying players. This is a much easier and more feasible way of getting a decent deck as a non paying player since legendary cards are so rare without real money. As the game is now with the latest update, if you are a non paying player you will be putting your deck of largely non legendary cards against a same level deck of all legendary cards at the highest available level that the paying player has. There’s literally no contest in who will win in this scenario. I’m a player who hasn’t paid a dime and have grinded my way to the diamond league over the course of the 4-5 years I’ve had the game. Regularly doing the daily missions and watching ads. This is literally the only mobile game I bother with anymore with how monetized and gross the mobile games industry has become. And as of today I feel stabbed in the gut and I’m considering just uninstalling the game. The update to brawls was a step in the wrong direction and this last update to ranked matches has outright ruined the game. Normal cards are not worth using against legendary cards unless they’re maxed out and now that isn’t possible. It’s full pay to win and lose if you don’t pay.

Great game. It’s a great game that mixes deckbuilding with grid based board games. The dev team is great and know how to update the game without killing it. Only gripe is that the log in system (kongregate) is kinda annoying. All considered Stormbound is a unique and refreshing strategy that I would definitely recommend.

Error. I try to watch the ad to get the reward but it only gives me the reward (entry card for draft) if i watch 2 ads.

Awesome card battler | Nerf Ahmi pls. I’ve gotten pretty hooked by Stormbound, as it’s a well made game with actual strategy and an incredible art style. Levelling up cards is technically pay to win, but you usually won’t encounter players with more powerful cards than you until the later ranks, and levelling up your own cards without paying is pretty easy. That said, please make Counsellor Ahmi less overpowered. There’s really no way to win against it, except for getting lucky and killing the player early. Trying to defend against Ahmi is pointless as it will always end with the enemy having a row of 30+ strength units every turn. At least set a strength cap of 10 or something. Beyond that gripe though, Stormbound is a great time passer and hobby alike.

Game is good. I’ve been playing this game since 2016 on and off but I always come back to it. Anyway people put to much hate on this game because they are just bad and complain about p2w there is a p2w factor but you can also climb up ranks without buying stuff also remember he devs need to eat lol. Point is got to gold without spending money almost platinum so basically git Gud :/

Good game. A good game, but high priest klaxxi needs to be nerfed

Its The Bestest Game. Tbh I don’t really Play Mobile And I really Like It..

Losing or winning animation. Why is the “you lost” or “you won” take so god damn long? It’s so annoying

Good game. I like 👍

Great strategy game. It is a really good game. Lost hours to it for sure. I’m not sure if anyone remembers adventure time card wars? But this is as close as you get to it. Even with people paying to win if skilled enough can still beat ‘em.

Not a pay to win. This game I played over 4 years if not more. Not always consistently but whenever I did it felt like I’m progressing closer to the higher leagues. Yea you can pay to accumulate more cards and level them up faster than you would playing the game for free like I did, but I honestly never felt that my choice to not spend real money resulted in an unbalanced match. The game gives you a large variety of cards that complement one another and the way they do is totally up to you. I personally love my mech and buildings deck that spams and upgrades my units as they overwhelm the enemies and their attempts to reset my front line. Each race has its own distinct strategies which are a lot of fun to experiment with. My advice for those who do not wish to spend money on cards is this: play the game whenever you feel like - complete the quests which the game provides and save up coins (I’m currently sitting at 4K). THEN pick up 3 copies of the card for that you really want to level from the store, alternatively, new new players should save around 1k and blow it ALL on the 100 coin 3 card packs. This will generate many new and cards to try and improve your deck while also providing copies of existing cards which will allow you to upgrade them. The game is fun enough to grind through the initial couple of leagues until about gold. After that it’s essentially all up to your knowledge of the cards and flexibility to adapt to your opponents build. I’m currently at the platinum league and have a lot of fun getting back there each month. In a world with so many shameless money exploits and built in mini transactions this game is pretty tame imo. They give you the option but it is not necessary. The devs really do have passion for their game and that shows in their art and game design. If I had to recommend something to add to the game it would be a way to communicate better to your opponent other than a preset amount of emotes. Sometimes I face an enemy that resembles an NPC but sometimes I face one that greets me with the handshake emote (which I try and do every time) and it makes the experience that much more satisfying seeing that your opponent is genuinely paying you respects for a good set of moves which they didn’t see coming. I gave this game 4/5 only because I believe that there is always room to improve. Highly recommend.

Unbalanced. Really love the campaign but after that you just end up getting put up against stronger players with better cards and more base health. Extremely unbalanced pvp in the beginning

Amazing, been playing for years!. This game is just plain fun. Collecting cards, building decks, playing against other players. Very original and addictive. One improvement that could be done: on iPad, allow playing in landscape mode. It’s currently only available in portrait mode, but on my iPad with a keyboard, playing in landscape would be a great improvement!

Was great but no more. I’m a player of this game for many years. It was a 5-stars game, but no more for two main reason… There is no point of upgrading your cards since you can’t always use their full potential. The levels of the cards are limited depending on the league you’re playing in. What is the point of upgrading if you can’t use their potentiel. Most of the players now fight only for the win. So you will encounter cheap shot such as using the 2 or 3 square movers to get in the opponent castle quickly. It is so disappointing. Plus cards get changed often by the developer. And weird cards appeared with too much powers. So you get a game that was a 5-stars one but loose its shine.

A DREAM COME TRUE. I’ve always dreamed of a n mobile game with card decks coming to life on a board strategic battle against another mind… I’ve searched far and wide for thy game, but alas, it was not found. After many years of childhood searching for such a dream, it came true today, short and sweet was my joy, when I discovered this hidden gem among the fakes. I truly admire this game, and hope it never falls, for it is my dream come true.

Not bad. It’s fun enough

Help. Bought a daily and I never seen my pack where it is still need help

Pay to Win. It’s good and relatively skill based, but sometimes it is literally impossible to win when their cards are level 5 and your cards are level 2. Sometimes they also start with 2 more health which usually makes a difference. I know you need to make money somehow but please balance the game.

New features. Great game I have nonstop been playing but I wish there were more features to the game

Making the game pay to win. Before it was possible to pay for better cards with money or play the game until you gathered the coins for them. Recently a change was made to make getting certain powerful cards virtually impossible without spending money. Players who pay will likely have an unfair advantage even at the highest card levels due to this

Amazing, but some "essentials" features are missing. I've introduced my friends to Stormbound and not a single one of them has resisted to its attraction. Though we can all agree that this is an amazing game, we are all disappointed to see that we are unable to compete against one another.

Good. It’s good but I wish that the game would load faster and that if no one is playing the game would connect with a bot faster

Keep freezing. Almost every 2 games I play it freezes up and I can take my turn, when I go to pick a card it stays stuck enlarged on the screen and stays that way until my turn is over ,witch is frustrating please fix it

I cant get in. When I click on the app it stays on The loading screen and doesn’t change. Can i have help?

Will not load. After uninstalling and installing, resetting network and phone, the app still will not load.

Can’t lot in. Used to be able to login via Facebook login but now I can’t?

Good game but. Having played this game for a long time, I’m continually disappointed in the designers lack of transparency when they tweak cards and rebalance them. You’ll show up one day after having used a card and upgraded it to it being less powerful. It’s diminishes the value of gameplay and loyalty to the game. Tell your players what youre doing before you pull the rug out from under them.

Really good concept.... All of the mechanics in the game are really well done and over all I love the base mechanics... But the fact that cards level up, along with your base’s health slowly increasing leads to fights that’s are just impossible to win simply because the other player has put more time or spent more money. Until you reach maximum level this will continue to happen at which point the game already feels stale. If you really like the game go ahead and download it, it’s lots of fun. But don’t ever think about spending money or you’ll just end up repeatedly dying to someone who’s spent more.

Exquisite. I love this game, it’s perfect as a short time waster when things get boring during the day! I’ve been playing for a while and think that it’s fairly balanced (although my deck from a while back got nerfed really badly😓). Anyway, I think that way more people would play this game but just don’t know about it.

Magnificent game bruh. This game is the game you should be playing right now

Counselor Ahmi broke the game. The latest card update to Counselor Ahmi totally breaks the game. People just spam this card now and it takes no skill to win anymore. Too bad.

Superb Experience. Wow usually I expect mobile games to entertain me for a few days but this game is fantastic! Beautiful art style and strategic gameplay what more do you need. Ads aren’t shoved into your face and it values strategic deck building over good cards. I just wish you didn’t lose stars whenever you lose.

Good Game. I like the concept of the game and it is a lot of fun. I wish we could make decks across the card types or at least have a league were you could. Also i wish you could replay the campaign mission to get more cards. Actually adding more campain missions would be cool. And have different game modes with more tiles in the arena. Anyway thanks for an entertaining game.

Long time pros and recent cons of a unique card game. I’ve been playing this game since it was new, and I’ve loved it. I’ve loved fine tuning a small deck, trying to be as versatile as possible while also not having useless cards in a deck where you have little elbow room for mistakes. It was fun always going against different decks, seeing different strategies, and coming up with ideas based on that. Recently though, Stormbound expanded its player base in to Steam, and this had a major drawback: hive mind decks. I’ve had a great time making a dragon based deck, and since the steam update, have consistently ran in to players with about 8-10 of the exact same cards in their deck. It takes away from a good experience when all of the players are playing almost exactly the same deck, and all that matters at that point is how much money people have put in to the game to level up their cards. Other card games suffer from similar issues of course. Why not build the best deck? The biggest issue is the small card pool makes it so instead of having 3 or 4 “tier 1” decks, we have a single deck with tiny variation. Before the issue, the game was 5 stars. It’s not the devs fault that the player base isn’t imaginative, but the game simply suffers as a result. Also, love the art style.

Best game I’ve played!. I usually never write reviews unless a game is trash. But for this, I just felt compelled to write about how amazing this game looks and plays! For starts, the artwork in the game is amazing! That’s a huge selling point for me in any game. I love the card-style gameplay as well and having unique factions for special cards you can play and go up against. The leveling system is very fun and challenging! Setting up your deck is a very fun process as well and really makes you think about how you should go into a match. The daily challenges are a super good way to make you switch up your style and make you keep coming back to the game every day. I would recommend this game to anyone who is just looking for a casual game to play but still having a challenge aspect to it. Thanks to the devs! You rock!

Amazing Look, Bad Gameplay. Although I love the graphics and the user interface, this game is just way too hard for someone who is a beginner. You’ll be playing campaigns and play against people with far better decks and it just isn’t fair. I am experienced in this, so it isn’t nearly as hard but for others who I have asked to play it has proven to be a very difficult game. Furthermore, the app gives little explanation on how features work and I found myself having to figure it out myself. Overall this game hasn’t given me a good or enjoyable experience. I will give credit where credit is due. This game has lots of potential and just could some reworking through updates. I hope this treaty strategy game goes far and reaches its potential. Also one more thing I would like to add. The draws in this game are very imbalanced and will cause me from time to time to loose.

Could be a lot better. After playing for a weekend two things stand out quickly. 1) The campaigns are super short. They provide access to some good cards. The negative is once those are done you’ve lost your good access to cards, which takes me to the second point. 2) Progressing through upgrading cards and getting new cards is an extremely slow and long progress. If you’re the kind of person who likes to binge play and be rewarded for playing a lot this game will get old very quickly. The best reward is a daily reward of 50 coins, which is the equivalent of 10 match wins. The game has great balance and is very fun to play but will get old quickly unless they change something about how new and better cards are obtained. Update: I lowered my star rating. Twice since I started there have been update that supposedly impacting balancing issues. I saw no change really. I have now deleted the game because I found the game to be getting old fast. The pacing of upgrades is so slow that you’re rehashing to same fight over and over. Time to move on to something else. Sadly, I think a lot of creativity and playability went into the creation of this game but it’s missing the mark. It could be a highly addictive fun game that more people would spend money on.

Great game so far and I'm looking forward to what's to come. Great game. There are still some cards that aren't so fun to up against like the Swarm card that gives a unit strength and then makes everyone in that row go forward gets extremely overpowered as it levels up. There's also the cards that summon other cards, those get extremely powerful if that card has a lot of power. It doesn't affect gameplay too much though and I still enjoy the game. Maybe add daily quests that are worth more than normal quests. And also maybe make a buyable in the shop that just gives you one random card . Also Plz add fish cards and dino cards. Thx for making this game.

So much potential ruined by p2w experience. The gameplay itself is pretty fun. When you and your opponent have similarly leveled cards the game is a great strategic card game. However once you start to level and build your deck, you’ll notice that card levels matter. Increasing your card levels becomes the new game and really throw any strategy the game had out the window. And in order to keep up with the increasing costs for leveling your cards? Throw money at the game. You could theoretically play a ton everyday to scrimp and save to buy and level cards but the amount of play and work to do so is ridiculous given the high costs. Even more so when you basically have no chance of winning (and thereby earning a measly 5 coins out of 100 to buy a pack of 3 cards) when you are matched against stronger opponents. To the new players joining, beware that this game is very p2w past the beginning point.

Great strategy. Honestly I love the game, the art is fantastic and the gameplay is usually fair. The only problems that I have are 1.)a bug that i keeps happening when two summon units kill each other. This stops any action and at the same time allows the timer to continue so the game essentially freezes. 2.) Second is the leveling of cards. When I’m facing higher card-leveled-oponents, its kind of hard to even have a chance at winning because their cards are so much better than mine. So adding a balanced system to stop players that are stronger from fighting weaker players would be great. Aside from the games flaws, I think the game is awesome. It runs without lag, no adds, in app purchases are aren’t necessary and a reward system that keeps the game flowing, so keep up the good work and i would recommend to a friend!

Lazy. I read a review on how this game is paid to win from someone else back in November, idk what year because it doesn’t say but what I want to point out is that the devs said “they’ll try their best to work on balancing those problems”. You wanna know what the developers thought was a good idea? They made a feature that gives you more loot if you PAY for multiple packs and build up points for that extra bonus. This game is getting to the point where I’m stuck in low level ranks and there is people with almost max level cards. UNPLAYABLE. This is the most pathetic pay to win game ever. You guys can’t think of a creative way of earning money. Instead of cosmetics that don’t affect the game you want more money and have players pay for in game currency to have an edge against other players. There is no such thing as progressing in this game without having to buy a bunch of gold and rubies and shards and a bunch of card packs.

One small bug : 1st edit. I’ve been playing since this game only gave you 2 quests a day and no leagues. You just had to go from rank 25 to 1. And the prizes were even less noticeable than they are now (trust me I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true) on top of that, I never received my ranked box at the end of the cycle. Now it’s back to 32 days and I have none of the stuff I was promised. I’m missing all my bronze 1 rewards. What’s the point of playing if you can’t collect your hard earned rank box? 1st edit : received my ranked box. Didn’t mention in my first post but some of the adds just lock me into a idle buffering screen and I have to shut down the app completely. And when I log back in, I don’t receive any of the bonuses from watching the ads. Happens when I try to upgrade 3 card books and winning matches. I’m back to 5 gold a win. Running this app on iPhone X, never been dropped with plenty of storage.

Needs more of everything. The gameplay for this game feels unique and is very fun; however I feel as though it is an uncompleted game. The fact that I can't battle my friends is simply terrible design for a pvp strategy game. Along with a feature to battle your friends you can release a guild or clan system and be able to put more unlocks through that. Cuz right now my only option is being able to battle people with way higher level cards and that is simply just unfun for everyone involved. I as well understand the need to make money but the rate at which you acquire resources in this game is way to slow, like who would ever spend 500 coins on a rare in a shop? Also if this game had a draft format it woooould be sick once more cards are released.

Addictive and extremely well done but.... I love this game. I don’t play a lot of mobile games and my interest usually declines after a week or two. I’ve been playing this game for three months! I would say that beside the occasional glitch that my only complaint is with matchmaking in Brawl mode. The programming should only allow you to be paired with an opponent that is maximum 2 base levels higher or lower than your base level. If it’s more than that, it’s not fun for either party. Strategy and luck of the draw can help you overcome a stronger opponent, but not six levels stronger! As an example, I’m currently base level 14 and just played three games in Brawl mode. I faced in order a level 20, 19 and 17! The games were over quickly as I was easily outmatched by sheer numbers. Cmon devs, this needs adjusting. Thanks

The creators have never played a card game before. In an attempt to create something original, the creators have missed the mark by a few galaxies. The animation and art style is great, and your first couple hours may seem great if you play the tutorials and campaign, but once you play online battles or brawl, you see how blatantly bad the entire game’s system is. By having the ability to upgrade cards (with no added mana cost) you essentially allow players to buy or mine for better decks through brawl events. Players are placing character cards with 9 or 10 strength in the first round while a newer player at best can put out a 2 or 3 strength. It’s honestly the funniestand most embarrassing misstep I’ve ever seen by a game maker. It shows the creator has never played a real card game before, considering most of them have strict deck assembly requirements.. Do yourself a favor and find another game, maybe Gwent? I’ve played only a little bit of the mobile app, but the in-game play in The Witcher was always great.

They shat up and took my money. So it’s got an interesting grid-based combat with card collecting and leveling up. The card stat boosting due to leveling up feels a bit unfair if you just haven’t gotten the right drops from the card books, but the fact that you can’t lose ranked stars past a certain level balances it out until you can level your own cards and compete. This game definitely incentivizes paying money to get more cards and more powerful cards, which I caved to and indulged in. Although the currency rewarded for completing daily quests and daily first win is satisfactorily sufficient, the prices in the store and level costs for cards are too steep for the returns and time put in. Maybe if they lower the costs for cards books and leveling up, I’d come back and give it 5 stars, but currently the blatant pay-to-win system is keeping it at 4 stars.

Used to be a great game.... ...but the latest update (May 2019) killed it. At least if you like dragons. I’ve been playing for over a year (now in Platinum League) and earlier tweaks to the game were mostly fair. The latest update is a money grab, pure and simple. I play a dragon deck and was able to build it slowly over time by using coins to buy a card or two everyday and rubies to buy four cards every month or so. Now one dragon card is 15 rubies?? Coins are now worthless. Dragon cards are almost never included in the daily card sale and almost never drop when you level up. The last update made fusion stones very difficult to obtain. What’s my motivation to play now? I’m certainly not spending money on the overpriced tribal card decks, which might include one card I want, or none. Too bad. It used to be a great game.

It was Unique and fun, but cheats your upgrades. I’ve been playing this game for a while and I still enjoy coming back. Their support is responsive and empathetic the few times I’ve needed to reach out. the updates occasionally downside some of the cards I’ve spent a while building up and that can be frustrating, but they give you bonuses abs you can usually quickly adapt. Still one of my favorite phone games. Edit: the updates have really taken a turn in my opinion. I’ve played this game for a few years now. While the game play is still fun, the card building seems pointless. Years of collecting rubies and upgrading cards to have them constantly down graded. Now I can’t even use my upgraded cards in the matches, so what was even the point of all that effort? Not nearly as fun as it used to be and honestly feel cheated

Great game but some very annoying issues. Love this gam the only major issues o have with the game is that there’s cards in the game that let you just stall the game out by directly attacking your base and people do everything they can to stall and wait for this cards to slowly kill you, the in app purchases are a little too expensive for a few cards feel like it’s pretty pay to win, and lastly the game often freezes if I click anything other than my notifications. If an alarm comes up and you turn it off, it freezes. If you accidentally press the home button and try to go back it’s frozen. There’s no fix to the freeze either you just gotta restart the game and take the loss

Extremely Well Made. This is an extremely well made game. There are many different styles of decks you can build that match different play styles. For example, I have a deck that relies on surviving until mid game and counters a lot of large units while someone else may have a deck that relies on building structures to sustain their units. The gameplay is smooth and the sounds/ambience are relaxing to hear. I wish they would add more to the game in terms of the campaign. The campaign currently exists just to help new players acquire more cards and learn different beginner strats. TLDR: This game is worth playing if you want to enjoy a satisfying fantasy card strategy game. Super worth. Mega worth. Just play it.

Fun as hell. I love this game. This is one of the best time killer games I’ve played. Only problem I have with it is it’s of course semi pay to win aspect of it. If the person your facing has better legendary cards then you it’s pretty much over. The other problem is this strange freeze I keep encountering. Cards from my hand will get big and cover up half the screen and then become unplayable. So I’m at a disadvantage because I can’t see the field and I’m only playing with 3 cards. Just recently this happened to me then all my cards from my hand disappeared and wouldn’t come back even after a couple turns. Can’t play a game if there is no cards to play. Normally I’d ignore it to small glitches but this has happened to me more than once in a while and it’s super annoying when I’m trying to move up in rankings. A small update is needed to fix this otherwise great game.

Good yet bad (pay to win but insanely fun). As the title says, this game has the most awesome mechanics I’ve seen in a card game. The turn based strategy is really amazing, how cards interact in the game is fun ! However pay to win absolutely kills this game for me, you can only climb so high and because some one has a card just slightly higher level, or you have a spell is just a little weak, they keep their front line close to your base, or prevent you from even getting close to them while all your mana is spent holding them off, not even making an advance. Two cards are needed to kill their one.

Unbelievably Well-done. This game is a masterpiece. With phenomenal art and graphics, intuitive mechanics, and constantly evolving strategies, you’d think this game couldn’t get any better. But it does. Though the game seems basic enough, there are always cards that shine above the rest. Luckily, a devoted and competent balance team along with constant updates make sure that no one strategy has the upper hand over all others. Furthermore, deck building games of this style are typically grindy and infuriating, but with rewarding daily bounties and rank up packages, the game rarely feels like a drag. In conclusion, Stormbound is a fantastic game that anyone and everyone can enjoy, and I’d recommend it to all fans of Clash Royale, Hearthstone, or Magic: the gathering. Keep up the good work Paladin and Kongregate, I look forward to many more hours of enjoyment with this game!

Has massive potential. I love the gameplay, art style, music, in-game gold system, pretty much everything about this game. I would easily pay $60 for this as a full priced game, but the business model is so completely horrendous. It’s a near-endless cash grab pit. Instead of having a large card pool, and opening packs for individual cards to build your deck, you have to get lucky enough to get all of the cards you want 100 times, because you have to level up your cards. This is undoubtedly the greediest monetization of a game I have ever seen. They want you to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on your card collection. This is one of my favorite games of all time, but unless you’re okay with staying in bronze/silver due to low level cards DO NOT play this game. Devs, if you read this, PLEASE rethink your business model. Consider making it like any other wildly popular card game (Hearthstone, Shadowverse, etc) and this game could be perfect.

Amazing. Straight up love the hell out of this game. It’s just so good. The graphics are amazing, you can link your account to your computer if you’re on the phone or the other way around it’s just awesome. The huge variety of cards is just epic, tho I will say I think winter pact is the best just cus it is obviously. But how many different affects all the cards have and the different types just makes someone like me who loves strategy and planning just get super excited. Just like every game on earth tho it’s still super annoying to run into the pay to play players, but that’s not the games fault or anything. Anyways this game is awesome if you read this get the game you need it.

Best game. The gameplay is like nothing I have ever seen, sending out units and casting spells at the price of manna in a 4/5 board. Different units and spells with their unique abilities and attributes, and able to get more cards to upgrade. You rank up by winning and can’t be brought back down so if you get up to high you will be destroyed by players way stronger than you. You learn unique strategies and tactics the longer you play and grow your deck by collecting cards. The Champaign is simple and easy to figure out. You eventually start to learn the parts of the game that no player can teach. You learn to see their weak points and determine what card will destroy them with ease. All in all, I am stuck on Stormbound and can’t wait for all the new cards that will come in the future, and to new players, your on for one heck of a ride.

Garbage updates needs to be balanced better. When I first started playing this game it was balanced and fair to each player, as the updates have come in starting to notice inconsistencies in the new style of play. Players are receiving the same cards 2-3 sometimes 4 In a row which makes it unfair to one side and gives one player the advantage. If I’d had written this review In the beginning I would’ve given this game 4-4 1/2 stars seeing as though there was more strategy involved, now it’s just whoever the game is favoring more at the start of it, building cards are more OP then ever with no real way of countering them as was before, spell cards have been nurfed down to almost useless. Again, the game still has the potential to be good and fair again, just needs to be adjusted a bit more and cards need more rotation to make it equally balanced again.

Beautiful game, one bug. I absolutely love this game. Brilliant graphics, incredible design, and of course it works out my mind as it forces you to think ahead and plan with strategy. I’ll recommend Stormbound to almost anyone, which is why I’m bringing up this bug. I want the best for the game, including its reliability and smooth operation. In fact, it’s the only reason why I didn’t put a full five stars. So I encountered the bug a few minutes ago, and it was the reason why I lost the game. I was going first, and I went to exchange a card, expecting a new one to be switched in. But I didn’t receive a card back, leaving me with three total. I was stuck with a hand of three for the whole game. The rounds before and after were normal as usual. I hope this can be resolved, and wish for great new cards and features to continue to be added. All in all, fantastic job creators!

Decently good. Stormbound is a fun deck building combat game that’s slower paced and well balanced. The biggest problems are lag spikes in the game which can allow your opponent to get a few consecutive turns in a row without any interaction from you. The game has a turn timer which is useful if your opponent doesn’t play for a while so you don’t sit there too long, but you can’t play another card until the animation from the previous card is done playing, so the timer will sometimes finish before you’ve finished playing all the cards you wanted to. Other than those issues, it’s a good game and I recommend it.

Needs some improvement. This game is very fun and very well made. However, matchmaking in player versus player is very skewed. Players who spend tons of money upgrading their cards and reaching very high levels are matched with players who’ve spent little and have not maxed out their cards and there is almost no hope at all of getting a win above the lowest levels of ranked play. This is an issue because there is an extremely short campaign and then nothing but player versus player, either arena or the occasional brawls where rules are different but a player at the very top of the rankings can be matched against a player near the bottom in a completely one sided battle. Please balance the matchmaking system of this game and match players with others of close card levels so that skill actually matters, not just levels and how much money has been spent.

Outstanding/Disappointing Freemium Game. Long time player of this game and have loved it for a long time. This game is enjoyable to me because it allows you to play at-will without the commitment of a clan/team-based commitment. That being said, after having worked for a couple of YEARS to upgrade my cards/deck, at the beginning of each season reset, your deck is set back to several levels lower than what you have built it up to, forcing you to claw your way back up, just to be able to use your cards/deck at the level to which you worked so hard to get them to. This is a deterrent to me to continue to work to upgrade cards when I won’t get the ability to enjoy the upgrades unless I spend considerable time grinding to level up my overall rank over the course of a month. Please fix this and allow the players to enjoy the fruits of their labors.

Great Game Infected With Pay to Win. This game is fantastic, but it's very easy to pay to win, and not in a good way. The card upgrade system is where the pay to win becomes a real problem. In games like hearthstone you can pay to get all the best cards, but the cards are at least the same for everyone. In this game you can pay to have your version of any given card, be better than other peoples version of the same card. It makes it near impossible to win against a player who's using a full deck of level 3 cards, when you're stuck using your lowly level 1-2 cards throughout the match. Also it's not cheap to upgrade your cards. Expect to be shelling out quite a bit of cash if you actually want to be competitive.

I’m 19 and I’ve never wrote a review for an app until today. I’ve always liked card type games and I downloaded this with the bar at zero thinking “this is gonna be some over complicated time consuming card game I’m gonna play once and delete, but it’s relatively quick and easy to get. I’ve played a lot of games and really enjoyed some but still would never rate them because I didn’t care enough too, this game asked me to rate them and I did it immediately, and the thing is, I’m not even getting a reward for rating this game. It’s a really fun game, very easy to get into, nice gameplay, smooth soothing graphics, outstanding game. I wish I was famous so I could sponsor this game

It Could've Been Great.. The game had a good idea, was visually pleasing, and just accelerating in general, but I've had the game for 3 weeks and I haven't even been able to complete 1 game. The game has always lagged constantly, I will lag out in the middle or near the end of games, and sometimes I can't even access the app. When I did get. To play Stormbound it was fun, but it doesn't even get close to making up for the lag and glitches. Just a side note; I use a iPad to play Stormbound, so if anyone working on this game sees this, I suggest you try working on the game to see if it's either my network or there is a legitimate problem with Stormbound on the iPad. (I feel like it is more of a problem on the iPad. Other games work mainly fine on the iPad, it is abnormal to find a game that is apparently compatible on the iPad, but it doesn't work with the iPad).

Great game, but hard to get into. I love this game. It’s a unique deck builder that feels more like chess than most, which is very refreshing since every other deck builder is the same. I wish that it could be easier to get into, though. It’s impossible to win at first without spending money or grinding, which locks this great experience off. I quit and only came back after I unlocked a better card from a seasonal chest. I also hate the loot boxes. You should be allowed to buy any card. Loot boxes are a disgusting business practice that is dying, and I hope this game ditches them too. The gameplay is fine, though. It’s a lot more strategic than others because you have a lot less units and they seem to always be on a cycle, so you can predict the cards you’ll get.

A great game held back by card balancing. This game is really fun, I play it with my friends a lot. The only thing that stops me from giving a 5 star is how good some cards are compared to others, specifically the legendary hero cards. Some of the are literally so good that using it at lower ranks basically guarantees you a win. If these cards had like direct counters it would be fine but the way this game is designed makes it so that some cards, say Siren of the Seas will completely invalidate a push with no way of countering it unless you have a ton of cards and Olf the Hammer will be spammed over and over and over again. I suppose this is a good way to make money but when you’re trying to play the game and someone just pops up with some legendary card and you just have normal cards the imbalance shouldn’t be as prominent.

Love the game but.... Game play is easy and addicting. The new update was a smart one and look forward playing more. So there is a HUGE problem that make the game frustrating and almost unplayable. The Swarm deck is way to powerful and almost impossible to defend against. Because if this 95% of you everyone you play against is using this deck and this is where the frustration is. All decks should be equal, and certain cards in each deck maybe more powerful . This would creat more variety of game play and enjoyment. Update... Feb 2. After 6 months of playing I am deleting. I do love this game but it has become unplayable and redundant. Everyone uses the same deck and that deck is way over powered. I wish they would of made it more of an even playing field, but after waiting and waiting they have not. Good bye.

Difficult. It appears I wrote yesterday’s review in a flurry of rage. I did, in fact, over exaggerate, and I apologize. This game is not impossible, but you really have to think about what you do. After obtaining “moments peace” for my winter deck, I proceeded to completely destroy stage two of the ironclad campaign. I was actually using a poor strategy, and now that it has changed, I find success coming easier. That said, there are some things this app needs to improve, mainly the “level” stat. As far as I can tell, it does nothing and makes no difference. If this actually did something, like give level up rewards or resource multiplier or may he card quality increase (new cards have a higher chance to be rarer), that would be cool. I hate having meaningless statistics in a game.

Fun, but has room for improvement. This is a really fun turn based strategy game. I love the customization aspect and the rewards system. It's also good that paying money doesn't *automatically make you unstoppable (*it definitely helps though). It's a good idea that they match you against someone of a similar level but that's also wherein the biggest problem of the game lies...your level is based on number of games consecutively won, not based on the strength of your deck. So I can get matched with someone who's on a bit of a losing streak with a deck that outmatches mine by so much that even though I'm a better player I cannot beat him/her, and so the loss makes my rank drop and the problem trickles down to the next person I face...not ideal. Fix that and you've got a real winner of a game.

Great strategy game. I play almost exclusively strategy games on mobile and this is one of the best I've ever seen. Thought provoking and unique gameplay adds something new and interesting to the genre. Card art has an (again) unique style that I enjoy, and the game mechanics are quite creative. I can not recommend this game enough to strategy game fans. The game - from a young developer - does suffer from some pay-to-compete aspects, though with good planning I have been able to beat more upgraded opponents (and lost to many underleveled tacticians). However, a few dollars in to the game balances you out nicely and pays for what looks to be regular updates and thoughtful balance changes.

Great concept, needs more. I love the variety of decks and cards to use, good gameplay, however it’s an extremely hard game to start to play. You face apparently more experienced players with a plethora of “heroes” that can’t be matched by basic decks. There’s also no way for you to get these same cards because there are so few rewards in the game you have to beat the super-stacked teams in order to see if you can get a hero card. There should be a reward for daily log-ins that could eventually be a hero card. Experienced players will be able to level up more and you’ll be able to keep newer players. More daily rewards that you don’t have to wait 12-24 hours after you complete one, I’d be willing to play more in a day but it’s simply not worth it to bang my head against the wall for nothing.

Good with glaring problems. Illustration, animation, sound, gamification and behavior design all on point. However, it repeatedly displays issues with ranking and earning coins. I’ve completed many sets of challenges only to be shown the animation for completing and then reset back to zero achievements. When I send a report thru the app, I just receive a response from Paladin stating I should contact Kongregate. So you can’t send them a complaint. Also has a very bad pay to play issue where some people can spend a lot of money and dominate everyone else trying to enjoy the game. Therefore significantly reducing the frequency and number of win states. Eventually, you get stuck at a level and have very little hope of ranking higher, unless you pay to do so.

Could have been great.... This game starts off so promising. Fun to play and good strategy. The campaign mode is nice to get started and get some cool cards. You will blaze through your first couple online games and really feel good about your cards. Until you reach bronze 4. This is when this game goes downhill. The matchmaking is just plain awful. I don’t know if players with 13 health should be able to regress back to bronze 4 but it happens. When you are at this level your cards are mostly level 1 with a couple level 2. You will have 11 health and it’s all good when you face others at same level but that doesn’t happen anymore. This is a game I could have gotten into and put some money into, but with this poor support early on there is no reason. I hope this will be fixed and I may re-download.

Intense Strategic Matches. This game is about building a deck of cards and taking on other players with that deck. Each card is fun and unique and you feel like you are consistently either unlocking new cards or upgrading previous ones. The game has a small single player campaign which I really enjoyed because after each match (that you win which might won’t be every time) you receive a card. I like the campaign because in this game there are four factions with strengths and weaknesses. In campaign you know what faction you are up against and you can try and tweak your deck to deal with it. The multiplayer is extremely frustrating but rewarding. Every time you lose which if you are at my level is a lot you never feel cheated. If you lose it can be attributed to a mistake you made.

Starts as skill turns to money. The game is amazing with the variety of cards and strategy you can implement into your decks to out play your opponent. And it stays this way up until you hit iron rank and then it turns into a cash game where skill just doesn’t matter anymore. Example would be a card called veteran of war it originally costs 7 gems to play and gives you a 8 power creature with 1 movement but if you have invested a good amount of money and upgrades it you will easily be able to overpower a player who hasn’t spent money as each upgrade boosts its power by two. And this is the same with all the cards in the game. And this wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t nearly impossible to upgrade cards without spending money. Anyways it’s a great game it just saddens me to see it turn from a genuinely fun strategy to a money game where skill only gets you so far.

Fun but pay to win. This game is gorgeous and mesmerizing, but there’s one glaring issue that keeps it from being five stars. It’s blatantly pay to win. It’s impossible to beat someone if they’ve spent a good deal of money on the game, no matter how tactically skilled you are, as their cards will inherently beat yours in any circumstances. It would be nice to have matchmaking sort players by amount of money paid (for example people who are free to play only playing other free to play people). I love this game, but it’s the second most unbalanced game I’ve played when money comes into the picture (only behind the travesty of greed that is War Robots). Devs, could you please try to make it so that us free to play players don’t constantly get stomped by people who’ve dropped a thousand bucks on their perfect deck?

May 2019. It’s a shame.... I have been playing Stormbound since the first week it was launched. Loved the game and have played it consistently for almost two years. Great strategy game. Up until now, the updates have done a decent job of balancing cards. When I started, Ironclad cards dropped heavily for me so I stuck with them and built a strong deck making it to diamond tier. This May 2019 makes building a deck extremely difficult almost like it was meant to drive P2P and micro transactions. Additionally, the update altered Ironclad making them quite obsolete. Since I’ve focused my grind on only Ironclad, there is no lateral move I can make. It is now impossible to build anything without paying: fusion stones are harder to acquire, card duplicates needed for upgrades have increased, common card vs rarer card upgrade scaling has been destroyed... It really is a shame. This was an amazing game and I genuinely appreciated it until this update.

It’s not what it used to be. I downloaded this game back in 2017 and thought it was the best game ever. They update cards, and come out with new cards, which is cool. But I’m very frustrated because of this “balance”. I can’t pass a rank that I used to be able to get through before. Not that it was a breeze before but I had some fun, challenging games but it’s like now I can’t pass and I’m stuck in the same rank literally always. There’s no progression. I thought the whole point was to get to a high rank and the higher the rank the more challenging it would get. Yet here we are at a pretty low rank. Like what’s the point of having level 4 or 5 cards if I have to use level 3. And the only time I can use my cards is when I’m in a brawl or challenging a friend, but that doesn’t mean I can rank up. I think it just defeats the purpose.

The best amalgamation of Strategy and PVP. I used to play CR but as soon as I played this CR ain’t the same. The different play styles and factions allow for a unique and kickass experience. I highly recommend this game due to its great visuals, monthly updates to balance the META, and ultimately for it’s great card selection. Every card is different and has a purpose. Good job and best of luck to Sheepyard. Edit: Revision So I was a bit hesitant to hop back on with new developers on the job but Sheepyard has done it. They made it so much better with updates that are frequent and needed. They listen and respond to fans. This game is not only amazing but the people behind really care - that’s what keeps me coming back. Great game 12/10 and great developing team 12/10. Keep it up people, you’re doing great.

Great game, but kind of annoying. So first off, Stormbound is an amazing card game that I’ve had a ton of fun with. The graphics are nice, the gameplay is challenging but still fun, and the car system is easy and fun to use. The only problem I have is that some cards(which are the troops or units placed on the battlefield) are a little unbalanced. This can be annoying, but it is covered up by the fact that each of the groups has those annoying cards that seem a little busted. Unfortunately, most of the slightly OP cards are of the higher rarities. For some one with terrible luck(like me😭), you never get a legendary except once in a blue moon.

Might still need more, update adds complexity(?). Been playing stormbound for a while. Not to brag or anything but at one point i just sat on my living room floor with my phone plugged into a charger just to keep playing. Ok, so i think stormbounds a LOT of fun obvs, and that if the creators keep up it'll prove to be a casual phone alternative to, say, hearthstone. I love hearthstone (if it wasnt for hearthstone, im nit sure i wouldve gotten into Magic later on) but matches can take a while and i prefer playing on my computer. Stormbound is charming because it meshes the kind of unit placement that rts players for example, or fans of XCOM and the ilk could appreciate. It combines this with a fleshed card system that is shallow in comparison to card games like magic and hearthstone, but the benefit of this is a tight game with matches that only take so long as you and your opponent "know what you are doing"

My review. I personally love the game the challenge it presents against each deck you face and strategy each person has but I think when being put against a higher rank it gets ridiculous some times I’m only level 12 and I’ve been put against people that are level 17 battle after battle and I just keep proceed bc I can’t win also wish that the people your friends with could trade or sell cards to each other to help out other decks. I just wish that could happen and a better queue when finding an opponent put same levels against other people that same level or one above or one under not 5 over or under it defeats the purpose of someone trying to proceed through the battle levels or brawl

One of the best! But one major bug.... Love this game! Most games I have on my phone are just time fillers and I delete most other games that are too time consuming. I have a life! LOL This is most likely gonna stay for it is great for all situation. I could play it whenever and one game doesn’t even take that long. However one major bug I have experienced twice already after only a week of game play is this: it shows I’m still waiting for opponents but took too long so I quit the app and reboot, when I’m back in it says I am in a game and already missed few turns. WHAT?! Of course it’s hard to win that game after missing the crucial starting turns. Please fix this. It’s a huge problem. Losing hard earn stars like that is very upsetting. (Update) I just decided to delete the game, because I realize in ranking games I ALWAYS got matched with opponents higher rank than me and get beaten. It’s a very extreme situation. When I played with people of same rank I win most of the time. My strategy is not that bad. I suspect this is a trick the system does so that it makes me want to buy the products. I’m tired of the game giving me disadvantage. I want a fair game. Sorry I can’t waste time in this anymore.
