Painful. Cumbersome and not user friendly if you had a bank card and your banks app worked the same way you would switch banks.

Fantastic. Amazing service and so convenient

Keep getting error message. I can’t download this App with updated iOS 14.4. I keep getting the message “The app does not appear to be installed correctly (error 120)” even if I delete and reinstall the app. Very frustrating.

Unable to use app. I have never been able to use this app. I have gone through all the steps, accepted all the terms and verified my identity. Then a week or so passes. I click the app after I am verified and this has been done again. I will not have my identity verified every week that I want to use the app. This app has been a complete waste of time. Do not download and waste your time getting your identity verified.

Does not work for Service Canada entree. We are new to using a BC Services digital card. You really need to generate some intelligible instructions for it, as it doesn’t work at all. If you try to log in to Services Canada by clicking on the “log in using your BC Services card” option, it takes you to the app. Once you log in using the app, it says “you are finished with this; close and open server to go back to Canada Services,” at which time the cycle starts again, requesting you to log in using the BC services card yet again. There are no instructions at all to break one out of this fruitless cycle to oblivion, and obviously your call center is not adequately staffed, as there is no one to pick up when one wants to ask for help, and the line shrieks and squawks like a fax line. When you press “1” for a callback, as instructed, nothing whatsoever happens. Idiotic and useless waste of taxpayer money, especially since no one answers OAS’s phone either, and we have no idea whatsoever why we were not paid our OAS last month, and have completely run out of money, and no way to contact anyone to find out. Thanks a lot.

Clean and easy to use. I used the app to set up my services card through video call instead of going to a physical office and the whole process is really swift. The app itself works smoothly too and everything works as it should which makes life easier for once.

You really really want me to allow notifications. Try setting up an account and decline allow notifications. Its a continuous loop. Why is every single government created app so poor. QA the darn thing. 3rd try on two devices over the years to set this up. None have been even remotely successful. I give up its junk and appears will always be junk.

Not able to logon. I am not able to logon because it’s required you to login using your faceID and I don’t feel confounding using any faceID or fingerprint I’d due to security reason Please add a way to login using your email or phone with password

Absolutely Useless for those new to BC. Does not work at all without a BC services card. All those new to BC - even those vaccinated here cannot use this app until BC services card is received. Temporary residents cannot get a BC services card. So, despite BC requiring proof of vaccination and receiving both doses in BC, this app prevents us from providing proof of vaccination BC is asking for. Typical bureaucratic government efficiency. Brutal.

Easy setup & great integrations. I use it mainly to login to the CRA site seamlessly which can otherwise be painful. Secure access can be painful but this app makes it easy without compromising security.

Perfect service. This is a really appreciable service in which we don’t have to go at BC Service Centre and on phone we can register. This is the time when we should avoid unnecessary travel. I am happy by this video registration facility but after 28 minutes of call waiting I am able to talk with BC service agent. I suggest that at least you have to provide expected time during call to face agent as like during driving test call center. Thank you very much. Ok

Error msg. Tells me to reinstall the app because the app is incorrectly installed. I tried to delete it and redownload it for several times, but there is no luck.

Doesn’t work. Every time I submit my info, it gets reviewed and then I get get the “app not installed correctly” error.

Won’t work with iPhone 14 Pro Max. The app doesn’t correctly use macro mode to take pictures of barcodes and IDs, so it isn’t possible to get a clear enough picture to verify my identity.

Amazing New way to verify identity!. I love the innovation of BC Services Card way of verifying identity using new technology. I love the fact that using video call to verify identity will save me time by not going to an ICBC location to face long lineup. Good job BC Services!

Not user friendly. Asks for sign user ID and logon code when there wasn’t one given or set up. What a joke

Doesn’t work. Downloaded it a bunch of times and always get error 115... I have a newer phone and it’s up to date.

App doesn’t work on iOS 17.4. I’ve tried launching the app which has already been set up and worked on previous iOS versions but it’s not working with iOS 17.4. When opening the app it just spins a wheel as if signing in but doesn’t go past the main page. Fix the app 🙄

Just wouldn’t focus on Study/Work permits. I tried to give additional ID for my non-photo BC services card. Tried to use my study permit for it which is printed on a full A4 sheet. But the camera in the app only focuses on credit card sized IDs. Absolutely cannot scan a full sized document!

Never works properly. I find this app super frustrating as I keep trying to login into MyEducationBC and it never works.

This app was made by tech children. I recently got a new phone and tried to transfer my account to it. I get 3 tries every day before it locks my out. The qr code it gives me doesn’t ever work. All i’m left with is a screen telling my i tried to login to many times

Invasion of Privacy. This app somehow downloaded on my iPhone automatically without my approval or asking for it. The only thing I can think of is I recently renewed my BC driver’s licence. This is an invasion of my privacy as I didn’t even know it was on my device and I can’t find any info as to how or why it got there. That alone is enough for me to not want it and to tell others to stay away from it.

It’s OK. Better than the CRA but still a tedious and complicated process! 6 hours to re-register just because I changed phones and now 48 hours to get blood test results from June 2023. A good portion of my historical records aren’t even listed or referenced.

Imagining. I find this site difficult to navigate at times. I found imaging and when I went I found what I wanted but when I went out and came back in the images I wanted to look at were gone. Very frustrating

Doesn’t work!!. I tried to download it to have my vaccination card, but it’s not working! I keep deleting and re downloading it and each time it says the app was downloaded incorrectly! This is really annoying because I really need to have my card available to me.

Multiple steps to get to where you want. It takes multiple steps from the app then click on BC Health Gateway, then leave the app to open the Health Gateway in your browser, then to the BC Services page to login then continue with the BC Services app to login with Face ID then its says you're done with app and open your browser, then finally shows your timeline, click on Covid 19 card then download the PDF. Could you make it simple - login with Face ID then show a QR code or PDF?

Doesn’t work with IOS 14. If you want people to use this as an essential service you can’t be sleeping on your updates. The beta has been out for a while so you could have prepared.

Fails. It fails to give me access to my account

No clear way to log out. Good app except no clear way to log out. Even if you go to the website through a convoluted path via the app and logout there, still logged into app. Otherwise, seems to work well..

Review of bc health card app. I am very happy with this service. Gets to all my information easily plus the link up to CRA acct has been extremely helpful. I also had a problem signing in and called a service person, service was quick, problem fixed, excellent !!!

Great utility app. Works seamlessly with the government websites where security and confidentiality is very important

CPP and AOS application. Too many errors on the web page. I’ve been at it for hours and am getting no where. The help numbers dial busy all the time. I’m getting very frustrated.

Does Not Work on my iPad Pro.. I installed this app and the linked to government EV website to get an EV rebate. After I signed onto the BC Services APP and linked back to the EV application it appears to go into an Endless Loop! NFG

Terrible app. This app logs me out every couple days and I have to wait a couple more days for re-verification and cannot access my student loans information. Get it together.

Login data suddenly gone. Account spontaneously missing from an app in less than a month of use, have to reset everything again, frustrating. Otherwise ok

Circular workflow. It appears that this app is failed or the designer misunderstood that the intent was to make this service more efficient. I ended up calling the service desk to obtain an appointment. I then had to call to cancel the appointment rather than it being simple to cancel. MS outlook perfected this process nearly 30 years ago. Please dissolve the approving persons or person that accepted this app. It’s an utter failure.

Account disappeared. Account disappeared with no notice (possibly after the recent update). Frustrating to go through the setup process again.

Too complicated. A problem every single year

Disappointed. This app is a bit disappointing for me. Whenever the app gets un downloaded from your phone (which is frequently since I rarely use the app and my phone automatically un downloads apps I rarely use) you have to go back in and re set up everything and wait 24 hours each time to use your ID for booking anything. If the developer could make it so you can log into a verified account with a two step code instead of all of this the rating would be much higher.

Identity Verification Broken. Can’t video call to verify identity. Can’t take video to verify identity. Only 3 locations I can go to identify my identity in person in Metro Vancouver.

Signing in. I am having trouble signing in all the time. I have two accounts on my computer and can’t switch from one to the other
