Quick and Informative. I’ve found this app to be very helpful when I need a quick answer for what oils to use for a specific ailment. If I’m not sure of the oil but know the ailment, I can search that way. If I want to k ow what a certain oil will help with, I can search the oil. Each oil has the description, benefits, ways to use it, plus much more listed. It’s a quick and informative app and well worth the $6.99.

Misleading app. This app is worthless. I bought it with the intent of knowing what oil to use for what issue. This has been taken away and is no longer available on this app. Waste of money!! Company just keeps saying they are reformatting the app. Well, they have been reformatting for over a year and this option is still not available. Do not waste your money! There are better apps out there!!

Not impressed. This was a top pick when searching for an oil app. Unfortunately I disagree. I have tried to find some common ailments, such as pink eye or an ear infection and how to use oils to alleviate symptoms before going to a medical professional ... nothing there. There are also times when searching the app for an oil or ailment and it stops loading/freezes and I have to close it out and restart. I wouldn’t pay the $6.99 for it- i would like a refund. I’ve had more luck searching online or in a reference book.

Would have been 5 star until they changed the app. I liked the app so much better when it had an ailments section. I don’t find this app as beneficial or as useful as it once was. If ailments section returns I would gladly change my review. Until then can I get a refund this app does nothing that it is supposed to and is quite useless and a waste of money. Don’t purchase this app unless you want to throw your money away.

Needs more info. I love YL, and recently became a member but I am quite overwhelmed with all of the info, uses, and ways to apply EOs. Luckily I have a great team that’s given me the reference guides and stuff, but almost none of that info is included in this app! I thought this would be the easiest way to keep track of things, and it is helpful, but it is not all-inclusive. I’d like more simple and easy ways to use the oils. For instance, in the Copaiba section, it does not mention its use for teething babies! But this info can be found in the Welcome Book and he Pocket Reference. This is just one example of what I feel is missing. I look forward to seeing this app grow!

Very disappointed. I bought this last week and it won’t load 98% of the time. I click on different sections (“blends” for example) and it just does the spinning loading sign over the app page. I don’t understand how this got so many great reviews, I wish I’d bought another reference app. Feels like I wasted my money.

Needs work, search not working and freezes. I am new to EO and YL. Usually don’t spend money on apps but have a lot to learn so made the purchase for $6.99. Tried to search for specific EO on Oils page but not only did it not do anything when entering a partial name, but also did not work when typing in the full name and hittin search. Then it kind of froze and no longer had a full listing for me to scroll to find what I was looking for. Had to close out the app and reopen it. Not fun! Would love to be able to easily see recipes for diffuser, rather than having to scan through Ailments. Think the product is great, but really wish the app was better and worth the $.

Wish it was easier to use.. You have to know the exact name of what you are looking for. For instance (Stuffy Nose doesn’t come up) I wish it was simpler to use. Especially for $6.99

Nothing more than an e-book could provide.. With all the great reviews I thought this would be better. I have enough reference books, both hard copy as well as electronic, so this did not impress me at all. I wish I had seen when the last update had been made before I purchased (hint: It has been quite a while) as it would have saved me the $6.99. Lesson learned.

Oils app. Are used to agree with others about this app. I paid for this app with the intent of using it to find quick answers to what works for what ailment. This option is no longer available.I wrote to the software people to find out why and they only stated that they were reformatting. I feel I was scammed into buying it. I previously recommended this app, but now find it to be pretty useless. Bait and switch

Where did the “ailments” topic go?. Used to be able to search for oils to treat a specific ailment, now can’t find that search. Has it been removed or is it located somewhere else? That’s what I loved about this app...now, not finding it too helpful.

EO newbie. I am new to YL oils and this app has really helped me out. I can look up ailments, oil blends by name and get some great information. Includes recipes and tips. I wish I knew about the app when I first signed up. It’s the “google” of YL oils.

Love Love Love. This app is magical as well as educational. I love to read about the oils and be able to look at the app for the best description. Also you get a visual, family, synonyms,actions, history, and so much more.

Duplicate info. I’m very Sorry, and while VERY GOOD, basic, & CLEAR info for any beginner, it just happens that this is far too similar, and has perhaps even less info than my Current Oils App and now I don’t know how to cancel My $6.99. I was hoping for some oil blending recipes, visuals, etc.

Wish I could get my money back. Does not have many things I am looking for. Just paid another $7 for a different app that had the answers I need and have now paid double what I intended to spend to find the information I needed.

Quick + worth the money. Whenever I have any issue this is my go to. It’s like having a pocket doctor!

Super disappointing and a waste of $7. I gladly would have paid $7 for a useful app with lots of information about Young Living but this app is poorly written, hard to navigate and the entries don’t seem to make much sense. Also, I have been involved with Yung Living for 12+ years and the information isn’t about YL specifically. A 100% ware of good money.

Where’s the info?. I had hoped this would tell me the uses for each oil - both what it helps and which way is best to use (ie, topical, diffuse etc). Also, when I go into search there’s no way to back out if it I was just stuck and had to kill the app. My upline said to get a different app but I went with the one that was FOR Young Living thinking it would be the most complete - guess not.

Good. I enjoy this app but wish it had more info on the kids line (there’s none that I’ve seen) other than that it would be 5 star for me at least. If it had anywhere near as much info as the gentle babies book this app would be gold.

Why did this app change?. I purchased this app a year and 8 months ago. I almost never pay for an app but a friend recommended it and it trust her. At first I loved it. It had an ailment section where I could look up a problem and find information and recipes. I felt that I had spent my money well. Just recently however, the ailment section has disappeared from the app. I feel a bit duped. I would never had paid for this app without the ailment section which I feel is the most beneficial part. I thought maybe it was because I needed to do an update either to the app, my phone or both. When I went into the App Store to check on the app, it no longer shows an ailment section in the description. I’m very disappointed and may just delete the app, if it doesn’t go back to what I originally purchased. Feel like a bait and switch that just took a long time to switch.

Disappointed. Purchased this app b/c it was supposed to have a ailment tab. Complete waste of money as it no longer has it and the it is slow as molasses to even open. I’d like my money back. If your thinking about getting this, read the recent reviews, wish I would have....

KidScents Are Missing. I specifically purchased this app to review info on KidScents Sleepyize and it's not listed. In fact, all of the KidScents are missing - GeneYus, Owie, SniffleEase, and TummyGize. If I had known these were not included, I wouldn't have purchased the app. Huge bummer and waste of money. The App Support feature generates a 404 File Not Found error. I want a refund.

Very informative!. My favorite reference book with easy to use support service.

Hard to use. This app is hard to use. Not sure where the high ratings are coming from and the list of oils are. not up to date. When you did your search and its not finding it, there is no way to go back to menu. You have to close the app and reopen to see the bottom menu. Very dissapointed.

Not very useful. There’s only three options. The search bar always freezes and never finds anything. I tried typing “lavender” - it found nothing and I couldn’t go anywhere from there. I’ve deleted the app and installed it at least three times. Doesn’t work. Don’t spend your money.

Disappointing. How long until the app is reformatted/reformulated? I read reviews and then later realized I read reviews from a year ago or more. Had I searched for reviews from the last few months I would not have purchased this app. How do I go about getting a refund?

Disappointing. Not what I expected from YL. Sadly this was $6.99😳 wasted. This feels like an app from 10 years ago. Not easy to search ailments, oil descriptions are very technical and they're are no suggested uses or recipes. I see most responses for over the past year are "...we are reformulating the app"🤷‍♀️

Unable to see content. I just purchased this app yesterday as reviews looked great and engagement seemed high. However after opening/loading the app, I did not see any content. When I switch tabs (from oils to blends) I eventually get content for ONE of the categories. This makes me wonder if a) the whooping prize of $6.99 is justified and b) if this app is still being improved on. At this point I would not recommend this app.

Confusing. I’m kind of disappointed in the layout/recipes. Maybe it because I’m type A... but the way the recipes are written is hard to read •Instead of: 2 oil 3 oil 4 oil Directions Like a recipe usually reads, It’s: You add 2 of oil, 5 of oil, 10 of oil, 3 of oil drip in roller swirl... etc ??????? I’m bummed and more confused that when I started to say the least. YL doesn’t even carry a lot of the oils they say in this app. (Sweet birch, Spanish Broom, Silver Fir Needle?!?) Another thing is; under an ailment it lists the oils helpful- but then the recipes call for different oils...?????? Maybe I just need to get used to it but it’s nothing like what I was told, and I’m hoping I didn’t waste my money on the wrong app.

Applications Needs Explained. As an example when you look up “SKIN TAGS” it has 3 options. Recipe 1 - 2 to 6 Applications, Recipe 2 - 1 Application, Recipe 3 - 2 to 6 Applications. The number of Applications is that per day or is it 1 Application for that many days? If it is 2-6 Applications per day, how long do you continue treatment? Days? Weeks? Or Indefinitely? This question applies to the Ailment for “WARTS” as well. Otherwise, I love the New App!!!

Disappointed!. I used to love this app, but for some reason the “Ailments” tab disappeared. That was my go-to tab when I needed to find which oils to use for a particular ailment. May have to uninstall and find a different app that is more user friendly and meets my needs.

Used to be a great App, not anymore.. I bought this app to help me figure out what oils go with what ailments. This app used to give me a list of ailments and tell me what essential oils help. Although the past 3 months the app has taken away this feature. I emailed the App’s technical support and they didn’t help. I ended up calling the YoungLiving company and they said this isn’t an App from their company, this is a 3rd party app. I’m disappointed that they took away the ailments, but then to find out it’s not even YoungLiving is so disappointing. The $7 dollars isn’t worth it anymore

Sacred sense. I find this app to be very helpful when I am talking with people especially if they are experiencing some form of discomfort mentally, emotionally or physically. Thank you !♥️

Missing oils. This is a great app, and so handy to have and look up the oils and the blends, and what they are good for. I just looked up Jojoba, and it’s not included. It makes me wonder how many others oils are missing from the list. Including all oils will help oil users in their selections as they continue to use YL oils. Also, as another reviewer pointed out, it would be helpful to have a list of ailments and the recipes suggested for each. This, again, will help the consumer make the most out of their use of YL products. I recommend that that you keep updating and developing this up. Thank you!

Sadly Unimpressed. I used to really love this app, as it explained oil compositions, usage, etc. I particularly loved the ailment section, as it explained what oils to use and how for specific ailments. However, the ailment section has recently disappeared. As a result, I do not feel the app is worth the money. It is informative about oils, in general, but does not explain (as in detail) the practical uses of the oils.

I used to love it, now not at all!. This app used to be my go-to for help with ailments. Now the whole ailment section is gone. Please fix! I paid for this when it was the best essential oil app. I hope it will be fixed soon and not a total waste of money. I think I sent this review when I first realized the ailments/recipes were deleted. I was hoping after the revamp that it would bring those back. But it hasn’t so here’s another 1 star rating. PLEASE BRING BACK THE AILMENT RECIPES!! THAT’S WHY I PAID FOR THE APP!!

Good Start. The app is nice and easy to use, but I wish there was more information about the oils especially oil blends. The oil blend information is very lacking. Wish it would tell you good uses for the oil blend. App has a lot of potential though.

Ailment section. I bought this app just now under the impression you void search various ailments to find an appropriate oil for. I get the app downloaded and there aren’t any search options for an ailment. I wouldn’t have paid the money for the app if I had have know your couldn’t search!

So much info. ...so much to learn. I am amazed at the wealth of information contained in this app. I’m new to oils, and am pleased to know I can learn a lot all in one place. So far, very happy with this purchase.

not what I expected. wish I could have tested this out before spending the money. It's not as user friendly or thurough as I had hoped. Also, the oil suggestions and recipes offered aren't familiar or what I would think of off hand. I may get used to it, but I am not using it as frequently as I had hoped.

Search function doesn’t. The search function within the app does not function. This app would benefit from a cross-referencing capable/key word search function, and definitely needs more specific info about the best uses for each oil. Needs improvement.

It needs a bit of work. I am new to EOs and also YL. I would like to see more information in the blends section. For example what you would use a certain blend for and what each of the constituents adds to the blend. Like: the lavender in this blend is relaxing etc. Also I think there should be recipes listed in the single oil categories. So you know what to use them for. Finally, I would like to see a ‘Uses’ category. For example a list of all EOs that are good for relaxation or good for energy or are antibacterial etc. This kind of cross referencing would make the app much more informative and user friendly.

Annoying. I can’t stand this app. I love young living but this app stinks. I go to look something up and either they have it or they don’t. Or they have some judgmental explanation and on why the thing your looking up is happening. Don’t waste your money! In response to the developer not all young living oils are listed! Thanks for your judge mental response.

No Ailments?. Someone recommended this app to me because you could search by oil singles, oil blends, and ailments. I mainly wanted the ailments feature, but once I purchased it, I don’t see it? Someone sent me screenshots where the ailments were, but it’s like that section is non-existent for my app. I’ve never paid for an app—ever—and I felt like this would be worth it, but it’s not.

Love this app!. I absolutely love having this app at my fingertips! I only use Young Living oils and I can rest assured that these recipes are Tailored for the Young Living brand as other brands of oils are weaker and would require more drops of oil! I love how user friendly this app is!

Slow and cumbersome. I’m very disappointed. I thought with all the ratings that this app was out for a while and had the bugs fixed. This is even worse then the free app I downloaded. I’m about ready to give up on these oil apps. They all seem to be knock offs. I thought maybe this was the original one. I was skeptical of the PINK. Now I realize I should have trusted my hunch! Do you give refunds?

This app use to be so much better. I bought this app when it had some of the greatest resources for ailments and much more guidance and information than they do now. Why did you take the best part of your app away? I wish I could get a refund to buy an app that I can actually use.

Why the change?. I paid good money for this app and all of a sudden you take away its best feature? Why? I should still be able to search for the ailment and get a recommendation. Very vag information.. Why would a App that is labelled Young Living ,have essential oils that they don't carry? You name 3 and 4 of the same oils different species. Young Living uses one species per essential oil. Why have the other? Horrible app, Does not represent Young Living oils at all

I didn’t think it was worth the money. Not a very detailed reference and missing a lot of information. I am sorry i spent the money.

Poor Changes. I got this app, paid for this app, because I wanted the ailments section with all it’s recipe suggestions. I am very disappointed and feel rather ripped off that it got taken off. Before I would have given the app a high rating, now not so much - there are other free apps that I had prior to this that gave similar information to what this app now provides - definitely would not have paid for this app as is.

Changes. I recently got the app, a huge factor was the ailments section. I used the app maybe three or four times and suddenly the ailments section is gone. I would have gone with the other app I was looking at if I knew this one would disappear. Very disappointed. Can I have my money back?

Loved it before update. I loved this app until they got rid of the ailments sections. I mainly used the app for the ailments but since it’s was taken off I hardly use this app anymore

Not accurate. App does not accurately reflect all YL oils. There are many of the blends that are missing from this app. Not legit. Not worth $10.

Booo. I purchased this app to find out what to put on my burn only to find out this app did not have a the ailment section... wouldn’t have purchased it if I knew that was not included. 😒

Waste of Money. I bought this app because it had the ailment section. However, I questioned why the oils recommended for an ailment, differed from sample DIY rollerball blends and recipes they included in this section. Now it is gone completely. I can get the info about the oils from Young Livings website or books. I did not need to buy this app for what is on there now. I want a refund as I am sure many others do too. Total rip off.

New update. I do not like the new update. I really liked that this app had an ailment section. Being a new user of essential oil I found this very helpful. Pls put back the ailment section. Not worth the money.

Many of the oils aren't UK oils. Maybe I'm just confused but over half of the oils they list as singles are not YL oils. Garlic? I don't think that's an oil. Many many other ones that just are not in anything I've read ! Very disappointing.

Missing Info. Very disappointed to see so many YL oils are missing and so few ailments are listed. Not sure why this is so and would like to have a response from the developer.

Not a fan. From reading a prior review I thought this would be a great app to research ailments and receive oil recommendations. Maybe I’m not using the app right but then that just goes to show it’s not very user friendly. Kind of wish I could return this app and get a refund.

No info, cannot add to it. This is my first ever review of any app. It’s awful! It lists oils and has four other tabs with nothing in them and it doesn’t let me upload my recipes for oils. I want my $6.99 back!

This app is not great. Please don’t waste money on this one. If I’m ever looking for a remedy I never get a good answer. Yes they define each oil and the usage very briefly if you look one by one. There is another app that is better. Refguide4EO. Wish I could get my money back for this one.

Paid $6.99 for this? Totally not worth it!. This is just ridiculous!! Bottom line - you can get the same info on any other app for FREE!! I deleted the app bc I know I will NOT go back to it. I think my $$$ should be refunded since I was on it less then an hour!!

What happened to recipes. There was a recipe I use to make for my aunt and now I can’t find it. I don’t see the different blend recipes that use to be on this app.

Not informational. This application is confusing to use along with the fact that it’s not very informational. I can learn all of this through my Young Living website. Ive only had the app for maybe an hour and I would like my money back.

Not worth it. I️ wish there was a way to get my money back. You can’t search an ailment and find an answer. To me, there is no point in this app. I️ can just look at the YL website to see all the blends and singles. Literally, all this app does is list the oils. What’s the point 🤷‍♀️

Does not work. This app does not work like I thought it would. When searching items nothing comes up. All my screens come up blank and there is no use for me with this app. Wish there was some way to get my money back.

Thieves. I purchased this app to be able to look for oil combinations. I was not pleased to see that Thieves is not in the list of oils. Considering Young Living sells Thieves and it can be used for many things.

No information on how to use oils for ailments!. The most important part of an EO app for me is its information on how to use the oils for specific ailments/conditions. This app does not offer this feature and therefore pretty useless to me.

Cannot search ailments at all. I used to be able to search for specific ailments but now that is completely gone. No ability to search for a need and get a list of helpful oils. That was the entire reason I purchased the app.

Do not use!. App is a joke, has no blends by YL, total waste of money and little information! I would give it negative 10 stars if I could.

Junk. Use the Young Living site instead. The Oils tab on this site is empty. You can find blends but can get this info for free from Young Living. If refunds were available I certainly would be in line for one. Don’t waste your money. 🙁
