I like it!. I do like this apt. However the advertising is a little deceitful you can not change fonts while typing which the little movie about the apt clearly showed you could. You can set up a personal font size and color for the over all apt and maybe for the other journals you have. However this is one of the features that drew me to this particular apt. I had to take a star away for that. The next issue I have was not clear in the advertisement so I won’t take a star but I will mention it. It lead me to believe that once I updated I would be able to have more than one emotion per entry. That is not the case. I certainly have many feelings going threw me at once about many subjects at various points of the day. I rarely have just one feeling at a time. I don’t know about other people but I want that function. If these things are fixed then I would be very happy to give a full 5 stars. I look forward to what other new items you come up with. Stickers are an idea especially for food. With lots of American foods. I don’t eat Sushi ever but I love egg salad regular salad even the habbatchi grill. Wonton soup, ice cream and much much more. Just a thought. This is such a great app and so much can be added to it. I certainly hope you all keep working with it and upgrading it and more.

Love the simplicity and insights you can gain about yourself. I really want to use this app instead of Day One but there's currently no implementation of Life craft with the Workflow app like Day One does. As soon as that changes, I'm using this app instead.

This is it! 🥳 I’ve found it!. This is journaling app is the one!! I have been diagnosed with adult ADHD (the extreme side) about 3 years ago, and as one can imagine, I’ve had ADHD all my life ever since I can remember. With that being said, I’ve been journaling as well all my life... and am trying to inter grade my digital world into my writings, I’ve literally tried about 10-12 different journaling apps, (paid money for half of them) and they where not exactly what I was looking for, let alone the amount of customization one has with font styles, color texts, and paragraph set up etc. and with a yearly (as well as monthly-yearly is considerably cheaper) subscription of $15- I’m hook~line~& sinker. And that doesn’t mention the fact that you also get writing prompts on areas of self reflection with an added “AI”. I could on and on about this one and I’d like make a suggestion if I can: adding some background images or colors to the pages of ones journal entries (maybe as a premium benefit) and some stickers (maybe limited for free and everything available for premium) I just think with more customization on the pages would really help make it ones own...like with real paper and stickers..... highly recommend this app for any person who has tried them all!!! Which was me until now!!!

Good start, but needs improvement.. I like this app, and has many interesting features. The problem is the cost. Having a monthly or yearly subscription to access the better features isn’t worth it. I’d consider the cost if it was more of 1/3 what it is now. Also, there’s sync issues. But I like the layout and the design of it.

Incredible 🤩. I’ve used most of the journaling apps in the AppStore and this is by far the best. I’ve only had it for two days and I’m already considering buying premium, which I literally never do for apps. It has everything but it’s so simple somehow. 10/10

Was amazing, now ruined.... I initially gave this app a five star rating but now I have to drop it two since the recent updates. It was an amazing app for adding emotions to your journaling, but now with the added features that do not work after three updates, it is cluttered and has too much going on and half the time syncing doesn’t work now (or it takes forever). This is no longer an simple, effective way to journal my moods. It’s more frustrating that it needs to be. I will be switching back to Day One and a separate mood tracking app.

Love it so far .... I read an article about journals and this program was very highly rated. I installed it on my desktop and imported my Day One journal, which I have used for years. Everything went smoothly and I like the program. I liked it enough to install it on my laptop and iPad Pro. WOW! It promptly downloaded my journal to these devices and I was off and running. Never had a program that ran so well from the get-go. I highly recommend this to avid journalists.

Great App. This is a great app. I love that I don’t have to photo my writing like in BuJo. I just snap a photo of it. It’s a lot neater than my handwriting. And I don’t have fancy pens. So this actually looks better. So I just phot it from my phone.

Lifecraft. The latest improvements in V 2.o2 are continuing to add substance to this app. Continuing with the objectives of the programmers to provide a wide canvass of journals and entries to record both emotional and physical effects of the day week and month. Keep going .......... I have been journaling for 25+ years. Both for fun and for working with my moods. I’ve used 5 or 6 journaling and word processing applications. Including others that Chronos has developed. This Lifecrate and it’s companion note taking application are as good or better than anything out at this time. Lifecraft is the best journaling app hands down that I’ve ever used. I’ve always used self improvement methods and the resulting tools. This is not only fun, it is a serious mood improvement tool.

I love it more every time I use it!. This app is so great, I love it more it every time I use it. Everything about it. I’ve tried the others, this one is so inviting, not cold and generic like the others. Plus it works flawlessly. Love it, Thank you!

Great Journaling Software. There are a lot of great options for journaling software, but one thing that stands out for me is the ability to capture emotional states and thoughts about your emotions. It’s difficult enough for people to figure out what emotions they are experiencing and the easy way to incorporate how you are feeling when you journal or make a note about your current emotional state, so the way Lifecraft incorporated it into journaling and emotion states made me choose this program over other options. I’ve also heard back promptly from support when I’ve had questions (in a day or two) which is an added bonus. They haven’t updated the app in over a year from what I can see, but it’s still a great app and I’m looking forward to the next leap forward!

Good news and bad news. This app is just what I was looking for. I wanted a daily guided journaling application with the ability to create easily-separable folders for different types of journals. Lifecraft doesn’t have this feature exactly, but the tagging and template options are a great alternative. The compass feature’s interactive messaging-style interface is fun and visually appealing. I love being able to track my moods alongside my entires (although I wish I could log more than one emotion at a time). I was so enamored with the app that I sprung for the pro version. (I also seem to remember a pop-up ad that simply would not allow me to exit and return to the app...) Since then, the compass feature has not worked at all. I haven’t been receiving notifications, and I cannot get Zee to interact with me! This was my favorite part of the app, as it keeps the journaling process gameified. I’m not sure what the use of extra features would be to me if I can’t use the major one. Is it normal to stop getting compass prompts after subscribing to the pro version. I updated my app, then deleted and redownloaded with no change

Perfect for my needs. I have been using this app for a little over a year and I like it. It is great for journaling and I love that you can place moods for each journal. It is also cool that it notates the date, time, location, and weather. Great for looking back on.

ABSOLUTE BEST JORNAL APP. I have been on a mission lately trying every mood tracker app I can find! I accidentally paid (forgot to cancel trial ) like $40 for a year subscription to a mood tracker that isn’t even half as good as this one! You can use this free with no problem- if u want pro it’s literally $1 a month! This app is filled with information/ right now we are on Emotional Intelligence. It’s interface is straightforward and well organized. It had me free writing for the 1st time in years, and it explains why free writing is therapy. it It will even time it did u (8 minutes) This app is 100% my favorite. I decided to splurge and do a $1 monthly or u can do $14 for a year. It’s fun to use and free! Whoever developed / came up with it is a genius, and I hope they are rich now! Perfectly simple yet filled with intelligence and activities!

Great but questionable future. I like the layout of this app better than Day One. I also like that it uses iCloud for sync. Everything works very well, but I wonder about the future development of the app. The export ability is not great, so I worry that I’ll be stuck in it if the developer abandons it. I’m a Pro subscriber, so I’m going to give it until the release of iOS 12 to decide whether this app is going to have updates going forward.

Love it. I like this app more then the others in the App Store. I really don’t have anything negative to say about this app. The fonts option in a journal is very important to me and the layout of the entry as well. And you have basically hit those two features dead on. The font option is more then I expected. Because there are so many to choose from. So keep doing what your doing. And I’ll continue to be a premium user!

Perfect for my novel de-compression. I use my LifeCraft alongside my novel writing software; journaling helps me de-compress when writing about intensive subjects in my family history. The emotions give me good oversight in making sure this is a sustainable pace of writing or if I need to start incorporating more self-care. As I explore more topics I can tag entries to pull up information about emotional nuances exactly when I need it later. I’m looking forward to seeing how much I branch out to other uses in the future!

No Export and No Throwbacks Feature. I thought this was a replacement for Day One because it has more reasonable pricing. But, I was wrong. Although I enjoyed the multiple journals (very important for proper arrangement) but as months continue, I got tired of waiting with features I’ve suggested. First, I notice that, unlike other Journaling apps, they’re much complacent with updates and features. Also, I got tired of waiting for the Throwback (or other names that one could invent) feature. Moreover, when I decided to leave the app and change apps, there was no EXPORT function. So I felt imprisoned and they didn’t give any options for way out. What’s worse, I literally needed to copy and paste everything to my new Journaling app. Well I hope they improve all this concerns.

LifeCraft is the next level of journaling. What sets it apart: Effortless emotional tagging, visual emotional timeline to better understand personal patterns and video upload. What can be improved: Keep working on effortless input so the UI gets out of the way. Consider integrations with Zapier, so my outbound personal emails can be automatically logged. -So much of what we could journal is based on our day to day interactions, where we may have already written several worthy entries without knowing.

Nice features but not worth it long term. App is nice and I really like the features. I was about to buy it until I saw the subscription model. You want to continue your revenue stream? Sell upgrades to better versions. Forcing people to pay yearly won’t work for smart people. What’s to stop your company from sitting back and doing nothing for the next several years? No thanks. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Lifecraft. I love Lifecraft! It's the best app for me that helps me to journal and have interaction with the app. The challenges and different writing prompts I really enjoy . However, I've completed all the challenges so please update the app as soon as possible . I still use it to journal and I've repeated some of the challenges - but it's definitely a keeper and I recommend it to everyone that wants to monitor ,explore and enliven their emotions and feelings.

Locking Privacy behind a Pay-Wall???. This app is pretty great for a freemium. I really like how you are able to add photos to your entries, and choose and emotion out of the emotion bar. However, anyone can just take your phone and read what you write. Behind a paywall is the only way I can lock my writings.

Needs updated. I loved this app until the compass and challenge features were added. Neither of them work and I have the latest version of the app. I have contacted support and they just say to make sure you have the latest version. The last update did not fix the problem. I use this app every day and it’s frustrating when parts of it don’t work. I have been doing the challenges for almost 2 weeks now and it still shows no progress. My compass messages do not show up when I open the app but I get 3 separate notifications to read my ‘invisible’ message. I wish they would fix these features or get rid of them. Outside of the parts that don’t work, this is a great app and it’s really useful.

Beautiful design and idea but unreliable. The concept of this app is fantastic. UI is pretty but functional. Navigation is easy and well laid out. However, the Pro Version extras you are supposed to get are unreliable at best. You are supposed to get these life coach type writing prompts every weekday called Compass in the app. Out of 15 days that I was supposed to get these prompts it only appeared 7 times. Help desk reply about the problem was timely but unhelpful and did not resolve the problem. I’m deleting the app but I’ll check again in 6 month or so to see if they have pulled it together. Cause if they do this will be a breakout, stellar app.

Great journaling app. There is much to like in this app. The prompts and challenges are excellent. I also like the dashboard. I have some upgrade requests. I love that I can easily import a picture from the Photos app. I wish it would bring in the metadata of date, time and location. I also wish there was an option for input via stylus with a couple of cool pen options. Typing is great for word count and all, but sometimes I just want to write.

I love this app!!!. This app has nearly everything I’ve been looking for!!! The only thing that would be so nice to see is the ability to add stickers. That would really make it above and beyond!

Good app, but.... The Compass and Challenges features are still not working for me. I have no idea what Compass is supposed to do since it is always completely blank, and the Challenges feature has showed no progress even though I’ve been doing it for two weeks. I love the writing prompts and the emotions check ins, but I will probably cancel my subscription to Pro after this month unless the other issues are resolved.

Sync problem. Sync problem with pro account. Information on phone and Mac isn’t syncing. Otherwise I like this app.

Great Journal So Far. I love that you can add emotions to each entry. Its also one of the few journals thats allows you to insert videos, which ive been looking for in a journal app for a long time. I love it.

A “done” button. I love the app. Is there anyway to add a “Done” button after every journal entry to pretty much “confirm” of change being made to a entry? It would be helpful so it won’t be so easy to change words or anything that was written before, as I read my past entries.

Just What I Needed in the Time of Corona.... As you already know, 2020 has been “(fill in your own thought)”. I was feeling pretty burned out and unproductive, so I started looking for coaching. The few people I sought out were completely booked. On a whim, I decided to search for a “coaching app”. Lifecraft was among my top three apps that resulted from the search. Lifecraft asks thought provoking questions and supports change through journaling. I also like the ability to “track” my emotions throughout the day. I can also write a brief description about that emotion which I can review later. It really helps to see patterns of emotions related to different experiences throughout the day. Lifecraft could be the remedy to COVID quarantine stress and lethargy. Give it a try!

Pretty good.. I’ve been using this app for about 2 weeks now so I can’t give a complete review on everything but so far I really like it. Other than the fact that you have to pay for a lot of features its still a really good app. I haven’t and probably won’t get LifeCraft Pro only because it’s not a necessity but it’s still good with out.

Happy convert from Day One. I’ve journaled almost all my life and have used many forms of journaling: art journals, bullet journaling, online journals (remember Livejournal?)...you name it. I found Day One several years ago and it has been my preferred method of journaling for at least five years. However, Day One upgraded and suddenly their apps stopped syncing, now you need to buy the app (again, in my case), and for what? Minimal features? Enter LifeCraft. Everything Day One is and $10 cheaper with an added layer of providing emotion tracking and an intelligent assistant. I think it’s innovative. LifeCraft has definitely tried to innovate in a genre that is saturated and still manages to provide something new. I appreciate that. I also appreciate that there is an easy import option for me to get my entries from Day One. The interface is straightforward, the intelligent assistant unobtrusive, and the emotion tracking is well done. It looks as elegant, if not more so than Day One. Their Mac App looks great. It synced rather seamlessly with my MacBook, iPad Pro, and iPhone 8. All of that is a recipe for success. Good job, LifeCraft!

Excellent journal app. This app is well thought out, has a great emotion (a side bar with colors) and over all good feel to it. Sync is between devices works flawlessly and importing pictures is easy to do. A great app for writing down your thoughts and daily life. Thanks for a great app!

I needed this. I struggle with Borderline Personality Disorder and PTSD and have so badly wanted to pull myself together but can’t find the motivation to even want to. I’ve tried journaling and many apps and mood trackers. My schedulers are useless if I don’t have the mindset to use them and I’m sure this app is what I’ve been looking for. I love that it feels like I’m socializing with someone because my extroverted nature makes it difficult to concentrate on self improvement and leads me to scroll endlessly or leave my house and waste time. The app is beautifully formatted. I love the writing prompts which have pushed me to think about why I feel the way I do about important subjects like why I liked a certain habit and why I liked a certain activity; versus just listing things I like and want. I wish there were more challenges because the ideas, accountability, and structure is something I’m looking forward to and I only see a few of them and only 1 fitness challenge. I need the fitness aspect as well because it’s so closely tied to mental health. And maybe organization challenges. Please add more challenges. So far that’s my only worry. Thank you for making this app. It made me very hopeful.

Challenges component doesn’t offer much. This app has 4 components: Journal: The journal is simple and easy to use. You can customize the font. Entries are easy to add. You can make little drawings within the app and add photos to entries. You can link emotions with journal entries which is very nice. Emotions: I love the interface of the emotions component. It is easy to use. You can set time frames for emotions. This is useful for monitoring and self reflection. Compass: This is a daily “lesson” to guide your thinking and provides an 8 minute daily journal prompt. I enjoy this because it gives me a quick way to journal daily. Challenge: This component is almost nonexistent. There are only 5 challenges. It seems fairly useless. Considering this is 1/4 of the “program” it really kills the value/effectiveness of the process. You can track your progress in these four areas on the Dashboard. Overall, I was really excited about Lifecraft until I found out that “challenges” doesn’t offer much of anything. It seems useless. I had signed up for a year subscription but canceled when I discovered the serious limitations of the Challenges component. Lifecraft pIease develop a more robust “Challenges” category so I can change my review to 5 stars.

Thank You!. I have tried so many journaling apps and none have stuck. Until now! I really look forward to each evening when I can get a quick (corny) joke and an interesting topic to write about! I love it. But one thing has made this absolutely life changing.... My 11 year old son has been struggling terribly with anxiety and panic attacks. On a whim, I told him he had to try a couple of nights of journaling with this app. Well, he LOVED the writing prompts and took to journaling like he’s done it for years! And he said that it immediately made him feel better to put his feelings in writing. Thanks, Lifecraft! You helped to transform the life of an amazing little boy (and his mom!).

Nice but they changed the free features. I’ve been using the app for a few years. I don’t need much from a journaling app so I didn’t subscribe to the premium features. I just write my entries and log my emotions for that day… until they changed the model. Now I have to pay $4.99/month to log my emotions and see them attach a color to my entry. Was it really necessary to make this a paid feature? At this point, I can just use any note taking app on my phone.

I may be just a big dummy. I may be just a big dummy, but I can not figure out how to transfer my journal entries from Day One to LifeCraft Pro? When I go to the settings in Day One to export as JSON I am not seeing any option to send to LifeCraft? Only Box, etc...

Powerful tool for introspection and intentional change. I have tried journalling in the past and failed many times. It’s just a lot to keep trying to write with no direction. Life craft provides directive prompts to write, Timers to know when to quit so I am not just mindlessly typing, a schedule for various challenges in order to walk through a process of self reflection step by step and more. I enjoy the progress I make as I record my thoughts and have a a chance to read then later. I used this for over a year as a free app and decided Lifecraft Pro would be worth the small investment and it has been tremendous.

Lost entries. Regrettably, I’ve have to reduce my rating in light of the new update. I am a Pro subscriber and use the app regularly. In addition to journal entries, I used the Emotions section to save notable quotes without assigning a particular emotion to them. This allowed me to easily find the entries on the calendar because they were all in grey. When they pushed out the recent update, all of my quotes were lost! The entry dates are there but the content is empty. Two and a half years of entries gone. *sigh* ———- Previous review: I started using this app a few weeks ago and immediately loved it! I decided to upgrade to Pro so that I could use the emotions and sync between devices. A few days ago, they pushed out an update which works fine on my MacBook Pro but is very buggy on my iPhone 6. Specifically, syncing is not working properly so an entry I just made on my Mac is not showing up on the iPhone. The sync function just seems to get stuck and restarting the app does not help. Also, the new Compass feature is confusing and doesn’t really add anything IMO to what was a nearly perfect app. I hope the developers will fix the syncing issue and not clutter this lovely, simple platform with less than useful features in the future.

Lifecraft: A simple but powerful journaling tool. This is my top journaling app now. I tried Day One, but the desktop version kept crashing and it was at times confusing and overly colorful. Lifecraft is my alternative to Day One and my new go to app for journaling. I especially appreciate the ability to add emotional states. So far so good!

Perfect journaling app. This app has so many wonderful features that make it easy to capture the events of the day and my feelings about it. One of my favorite features is being able to add photos. When I take pictures of my son, I love to be able to remember the events and feelings around it. So perfect!

Love this app!. As someone who keeps getting gently nudged to journal but who struggles with doing so, this app is perfect for me! I can pull my phone out quick and jot thoughts down as they come out and I feel the need to big hold them in.

Good concept, needs improvement. I really like the concept of having a journal and mood tracker in one. I do both avidly and have been using two separate apps for some time. I also like that there are journal prompts and timers. This app has potential. However, for this to be a paid app (you must get a subscription if you want the top tier features) it leaves much to be desired. First, it’s a bit glitchy and does not operate as seamlessly as I would like. The “Compass” section has not worked for me at all since installing the app despite me getting notifications to check the app. I like the idea of having challenges, but there are only two available. One for physical activity which I’m not interested in and another one for journaling which doesn’t seem to be of benefit to someone who already avidly journals. I am hopeful that this app will continue to improve with time. Oh, I would also like the different journals or notebooks to be color coded.

Nothing works :/. I can’t seem to get anything to work. I don’t get the Compass messages — ever. When I tap “discover” under challenges, all it does is spin and say “loading”, even with the subscription. Nothing ever loads. The only thing I can use this app for is for journaling and for tracking my emotions, which you can do for free and with better, and different, apps. All in all, I am going to use it for the seven day free trial and then cancel the subscription. Even though it’s only $1 and some change a month, it’s not even worth it. Don’t waste your time or money.

What I’ve been searching for in one!. This app is what I’ve been searching for for a habit reminder, daily routine, and mindful data keeper ALL IN ONE! The price is also very reasonable-$15/year!!!! This app is self motivating and editable to best custom make your daily routine and have it reminder around your goals and your lifestyle. The journal and a motion data keeper is a perfect way to keep mindful recognition of what’s going on throughout my this app is self motivating and editable to best custom make your daily routine and have it reminder around your goals and your lifestyle. The journal and emotion data keeper is a perfect way to keep mindful recognition of what’s going on throughout my daily life! Love-I can’t say how wonderful this app is!!!!!

Great for Beginners!. I wanted to get into journaling but didn’t do well with previous attempts using a notebook. This app is so great if you’re not wanting to or are bad about keeping up with a journal! I have my phone on me at all times so I love making notes in my journal and keeping them organized with the tags! So genius!! I only wish I could get to my journals on my laptop. I don’t have a Mac so maybe an online version?

Great Way To Journal. I have tried many different ways to keep a journal but nothing has ever really worked. I start writing and continue for a few days and then it’s over. With Lifecraft I find myself writing more than I ever have! It’s such a freeing feeling when you can actually start something and keep it going! I love the fact that I have been able to find my passion for writing again and it’s amazing that I can sync my phone and laptop so I can work from either and pick up where I left off if needed! I definitely recommend this app!

Love it. One of my biggest pet peeves in emotion tracking journals is inaccurate or insufficient emotion words. I love both the default selection of available emotions and the ability to edit them.

Awesome Journaling App!. This is by far one of the best journal apps I have discovered in the App Store and believe me I have tried many of them! I love how straight forward it is, so easy to follow especially if you are not as tech savvy as most young people today. All instructions are written in simple language, no long ridiculous sentences that I cannot understand! Little added extras like font, colours, text size etc are plentiful with the choices it offers you. If you become a Pro Lifecraft Member it gives you unlimited journals and unlimited addition of your photos, weather predictions, as well as a few other extra things, and all for a very reasonable price with the option to pay monthly or yearly! If you are looking for a journaling app that’s easy to use but still plentiful of added extras and one that doesn’t rip you off like the majority of apps (charging ridiculous amounts to be able to type words onto a boring white background), then this is the app for you!!! You won’t be disappointed and if you are then there’s something wrong with you 🤪

Great app already. Built-in encryption, more features than you can poke a stick at and, for my purposes, suits me much better than a more popular alternative.

So good. I have a lot of stress and anxiety all the time but this is like a therapist but at home so great if your anything like me deftly get this today

Really disappointing conduct. I was so excited for this product. Little did I realise that ALL the features touted in the description are in the paid version only. Yes, the description refers to the paid version down the bottom, but at no point does it say that none of the promoted features are available for free. That's really disappointing. I've deleted this app, as it's essentially just a plain old ejournal.

So far so good. Have been using it for a day and loving it. Simple and easy to use. Data seems safe. I like the emotions feature and how the emotion category takes you further into sub categories. If you want a good journal to capture your thoughts and moments, this will do it. Cheers.

good but some issues. The notifications for Compass doesn’t work. I’ve had the app for a long time and have never received a notification. yes notifications are turned on in my Settings. please fix thanks. also tried to send you an email through the app— “ send feedback” cannot send.

Love it and feeling nervous. I’m sensitive about writing in third party apps, especially when they advertise that they sync across all devices. I pore my soul into an entry and then to notice it doesn’t sync and then ‘goes missing’ is a disappointing feeling. So far Lifecraft seems to be working, mostly...I using it on the iPad, iPhone and Mac.... Mostly working...tonight...day 3 of trusting this app with my journals, the iPad lost all my entries 😫....the only one I could see was the one long entry I had just wrote, I was worried 😱. I used reset sync and at the same time noticed it was not picking up the Pro Subscription. I launch over to my iPhone, everything seem safely there, the emotions, journals etc except my latest entry. Back to my iPad, I copy the only entry still present, even after the reset sync, into my trusted Notes, which touch wood, has never failed me, thank you Apple. Once copy and paste was complete, I head back to the iPhone, run reset sync there again, logic says that if I have erased everything from the reset sync on the IPad, the IPhone was were all all my data was so it should sync back with that. Having watch the sync complete, I then restart the app on the IPad. Everything magically appeared back there again. Thank you Lifecraft for working, I am feeling nervous to continue, the hiccup is worrying but I love everything else about Lifecraft so will continue on rocky grounds in the hopes it was a glitch. As a side note, I will be exporting (which by the way is super easy and a most have feature for any 3rd party’s journaling app) regularly now to be sure my data is safe (the worry and glitch tonight results in 4 stars). Hopefully the glitch will not show up again and if it doesn’t I’ll be sure to change this review to 5 stars in a month or so!!!

A hidden gem!. It’s like Evernote for your thoughts. Love the UI, the ease of use and synching across devices.

A work in progress. The app looks good, but it lacks some basic refinement that I would expect from a subscription based tool.

Great app but challenges not working. Every time you go to accept a challenge the app crashes and closes. Please fix!

So good. 23 snaps stopped working for me so I am so happy to have found this. It is amazing.

Like it. Love that you can attach photos and videos without limitations. However won’t able to use the camera :( perhaps in future versions? Hyperlinks too I hope) Easy to use at fair price.

Very handy. Tracking my mood is really important to me and my mental health and this app makes that very simple

Wonderul. Simple and well designed. Visually pleasing. Motivating. I LOVE Zee - the writing prompter ❤️

Waste of money. This app isn’t doing anything for me. I want a refund.

Waste of space. It’s not free as they claim! You practically cannot do anything but write if you don’t subscribe. I mean, I can just write on the notes app already in my phone. What happened to just buying an app? Who in their right mind will pay a monthly fee just to write on a journal? Seriously? People are getting so greedy nowadays! Delete!!!

New Theme Please. Ok going to try now that I have updated the app. Will come back for an honest review after purchasing the year membership. Please add pretty back ground themes that look like stationary paper would be great!

Feedback. Hi I need a password for this app because I don’t want everyone my entires Please listen Patrick O’Came

Thank you. I like that I can review past days and see that is not that bad. Thank you.

Challenges not working. I really like the app but the challenges are not showing suggestions

Such an awesome journaling app. I really do love this app. It makes journaling a joy.

I like it a lot. I’ve actually chose this over my other journal app now

.... I think that you should able to use the “pro version” for a week or so, then if the user likes it they can buy the subscription. Also this is false advertising, in my opinion. :P

Great start. Needs: 1. dark mode 2. 3D Touch integration/icon integration for quick entry 3. calendar view that's easy to access (e.g. Swipe down from top?) 4. Option for 24 hour time stamp insertion 5. System font integration (SFNS Display?) Essentially the only things it's missing from my favorite diary app (Grid diary) Keep up the good work. Sub'd to keep you guys working on those features ;)

Compass Messages. Compass messages still aren’t appearing.

Convienient and easy to use. I've been using lifecraft pro for a week now. It's easy to use, easy to organize, and the tutorials are helpful. I have always had a need to jot down my thoughts, and I love that I can do it on my phone anytime, anywhere. It's also a great alternative for those of us who want an easy way to keep a record of our every day lives and incorporate photos into that record, but who don't necessarily want to broadcast on social media.

Love. Wonderful privacy options, easy to use, motivating challenging section! Highly recommend!

No subscription. I will not pay for a subscription for any app, I tired of so many apps expecting me to subscribe. I don't mind paying for an app, but I will not continue to pay.

Amazing.. I downloaded this app to give it try. It’s an amazing way to put on hard copy your thoughts and feelings ! I added one Entry but not keeping the app for the reason i have to upgrade for options I could leave on another app for free

I like it very in tune to what I need. Good job

Very nice. Love the concept Love how I can change my fonts colors and size of text in case I need to express my emotions

Useless. Basic free version is useless. No way I'm paying a monthly fee to use an app.

Awesome Fun. nice to be able to vent and have it with me at all times

Pleased. So far so good. New to the journaling way of life so I am real elementary so I can't speak as a educted scholar but I finished yet as I promised!

Love it!. If I can just get rid of All Tags banner that won’t go away, I’d be a happy camper. Otherwise, I really like this app. Have started journaling daily and it does reduce my stress.

Using it for travel. Looking forward to taking my next cruise with Lifecraft.

Lovely app. Haven’t seen anything like it. Great app. In a sea of apps this one is a gem

App rating. This app has fit my needs perfectly. A diary where I can record my thoughts, however inconsistently, and not be poked and prodded to express when not in the mood. It does what I wish without annoyance, so I give it five.

Everything comes with a dollar sign!!!. All you can do with this app is type! If you want to use any of the features you have to pay!

Constantly crashes. Everytime I create a new entry the app crashes, when i go back into the app tye new entry is there but this is crazy.

J Nwosu. Amazing!, it lets me vent out how I feel without speaking!!

App with great promise. I enjoy using this app. It's lovely and has the potential to be a useful coaching experience.unfortunately, many of the most useful or exciting features require subscription. This causes the on-boarding and reminder notifications, excellent tools to help users build a new habit of interacting with the app, to lead to the base app instead of new content. This is both confusing and frustrating.

Journal. Consistently completing a new habit journaling

Love this app but would love it to be Apple Watch compatible.. I would love this to connect to the Apple Watch as well. Would make this even better

Abandoned?. Two stars as a kick in the butt, although it seems to me that this app has been abandoned. No new version in a year (which means no privacy labels) and no blog posts since February 2020. It’s been a difficult year for everyone, of course, but the lack of activity doesn’t promise anything good. It’ll get a real review if/when it comes back.

Life sun. Theyerrrrrr Grrrrrrrreat

Best ever. Easy to use, intuitive and powerful. Just what I needed

Just a Daily Journal Prompt. of this app, everything is locked except a daily journal writing prompt. I expected a lot more. Disappointed.

Great app! My life needed this!!!. The best features are in the Pro Version...definitely worth the upgrade!

Looks great from the outside. No formatting ability, no ability to sync photos, at least not reliably to all of your devices. The iCloud syncing sounds great, but after giving it several months to let them try to answer my many issues, I gave it up for something remotely dependable.

Changed the way I journal. Lean and beautiful interface

Not my preferred journal method. Too much tablet time.

Great guided journal. I have struggled to consistently journal for years. I honestly need to prompts in order to be motivated and get started.

Fantastic Start!. I love the clean interface. There are options so you can go crazy with fonts/colors if you like, but it stays out of your way if you just want to write. I like the option to tag entries with emotions (and I like the little stripe of color down the side of the screen, too). I've grown out of my Evernote puppy love, and Lifecraft has the makings of a real contender! A couple quirks: 1. I have found that it does crash if I create a new entry, go directly to editing the font, and change font size to 14, type to bold, and paragraph to centered. 2. If I go to assign tags to an entry and choose to view all tags, I can't find a way to exit back out to my entry. I'm excited to see where you guys will be taking this. I would like to see some kind of calendar view, a way to manually edit the title of an entry, and a quick way to change an entry's font to the default setting. Maybe even text styles--Title, Body, Quote, etc., like Wordpress formatting (though that may be a stretch). Long review short, keep up the great work! I can't wait to see what you guys roll out with future updates.

Sync. Syncing between the iOS and Mac apps is still terrible and doesn’t work half the time. It keeps displaying “Zones problem.” Or, I’ll have to manually stop and restart it.

Thank you. Great tool

Excellent app. Looking forward to utilizing this app every day

Well.... This looked like such a cool app so I got it and loved it. But then I realize I could barely do anything without paying for it. Even for the emotion bars. Could you make some things free?

More than expected. Love customizable apps to create forms/templates to make an all and one go to app

WOW. This is absolutely amazing.. Hello kind developers, I want to take a moment and give you a raving review. This is a journal app that is the closet to my dream journal app. 📓 You know you've really, really put some amazing thought into this beautiful product. The fact that you have a Mac app companion to the iPhone version is sheer bliss. It's just as polished and even has a menu bar app for adding quick entries! Thank you! You guys knocked this out of the park. I discovered Lifecraft just yesterday and it came right before my birthday. I signed up for the Pro as a gift to myself. 🎉 I have been disappointed with most other journal apps in the App Store ... and I've searched, high and low believe me. Momento, is one of the gems but it has held up development. Day One is not my cup of tea, but obviously a high quality app too. I really love how you designed this app. With every important feature. You didn't skimp! You threw your love and joy into this app; it shows. Well done! 🏆🏅🎖🥇🎗 Couple tiny suggestions if they're not already on your list ... Be able to past text into an entry and maintain the default font, otherwise you have to reformat the text after each paste. Dark mode. Perhaps a few nice pastel themes to choose from for note background color. Widget for quickly adding entries. And perhaps favorited entries. Just some thoughts ... I'm sure you'll be surprising us with some nifty new features as Lifecraft matures ... that is something to look forward to! You get it! Keeping your users EXCITED about your app is important to user moral and in attracting new users. 'Cause if your users are excited guess what? They'll write raving reviews like this and word will spread fast! And magical things WILL happen! Keep your own enthusiasm going too!!! It's magnetic! Again ... WELL DONE. A big round of appreciative applause. 👏👏👏👏👏

Just Okay. I want to like this app, and I paid for pro, but it just doesn’t work half the time. The compass feature is nice, I just wish it would work everyday.

Lifecraft: Journal + Emotions App Customer Service, Editor Notes:

3.1.1/2 • fixed subscription verification problem. 3.1.0 • New & improved Compass messages. • Compass messages can be translated into more than 100 languages. • It’s now easier to start a Compass message on one device and continue it on another. • Zee can speak journal entries & Compass messages (recommend downloading an Enhanced or Premium voice like “Ava”). • Improved photo browser for inserting photos/videos into journal entries. • Added a Search button to the toolbar that appears above the keyboard. This makes it possible to search for text in the selected journal entry. • Redesigned Entry list. Instead of combining the LIST and CALENDAR in a single view, there’s now a List/Calendar control for switching between the two modes. This makes the interface much cleaner and easier to use. • Redesigned More (···) view. Added a More > Insert button for all commands that insert content (photos, calendar events, links, etc.) • A dashed list can be started in a journal entry by typing a hyphen followed by a space at the start of a line. • Multiple journal entries can be selected in the entry list (More > Select Entries) and moved/shared/deleted. • Long-press a journal entry in the entry list to open a shortcuts menu. • Many improvements to the Import/Export/Backup features. Day One journal entries can be imported. Lifecraft backups can be imported/exported. • Lifecraft now uses Apple’s weather service, which provides more detailed weather forecasts. This includes 10 days of forecasts with hourly weather for each day (hours can be selected to see the conditions for that hour). This feature requires iOS 16. • Added a setting that controls whether weather is included in printouts/PDFs. • When an entry is printed or exported to PDF, images are now scaled better so they don’t fill the entire page width. • Smoother animation when new messages are added to the Compass view. • Improved colors in the Compass view, especially when the Conrad theme is selected. • Improved journal icons. • Many user interface improvements. • App is faster and uses less memory. • Lifecraft now uses the latest App Store framework for easier subscription purchasing/verification. BUG FIXES • More > Insert > Calendar Events sometimes displayed the wrong events - fixed. Calendar event text is better formatted when inserted in a journal entry. • If the selected theme didn’t match the device dark setting, the text in the entry list search field (and other places) was illegible - fixed. • The keyboard color now matches the selected theme (light or dark). • The Dashboard > Settings window wasn’t opening correctly on the iPad - fixed. • Fixed a bug where the text of an entry created from a template may not be the correct color when the Conrad theme is selected. • If a new journal entry was created by clicking “Start Writing” in a Compass message AND the Conrad theme was selected, the entry text was sometimes the wrong color (dark text on a dark background) - fixed. • Fixed several text color problems when inserting text in a journal entry while the Conrad theme is selected. • Fixed a bug where the text of an entry created from a template may not be the correct color when the Conrad theme is selected. • Fixed a bug that occurred when entering an emotion between 11PM and midnight. • If a voice recording was trimmed so the entire recording was deleted, then the recording was continued, the original recording wouldn’t actually be deleted - fixed. • Many more bug fixes.
