Annoyed. I work in healthcare and thought this app would help, at 4.99 a month I didn't expect the popups to start “popping up” every sentence!! By the time I would turn my phone around for my Patient to read or hear the translation, there goes the popup, they would look even more confused than just from our language barrier. Dont bother unless you want to upgrade your $4.99 subscription, so annoying!!

Useless. I installed this program but it won’t translate because it will not recognize my internet connection. I rebooted my phone, but that did not solve the problem, so the program is useless and a waste of time. Guess I will have to watch my credit card activity now to make sure they don’t charge me for this garbage program. Such BS.

Scam. It says Get. It doesn’t say you’re going to be charged until you download and that’s not fair.

It’s a complete scam. I accidentally downloaded this app because of an errant Touch ID press. That’s my fault. But this app is a complete scam. The screens are ads. And their supposed free trial can’t be cancelled — apparently it forfeits the trial and leads directly to a paid subscription. The fact that this app has been reviewed so highly further reinforces that this developer is using review pumping services. It’s shame that Apple makes it so easy for these types of companies to exist. They will give the App Store a bad reputation. Please save yourself the trouble and find any other app.

High rating. Everyone must be giving you high rating, this is the best thing!

Unethical. I thought this was a free app but no. You have to subscribe to even get a 7 day trial which automatically turns into an expensive paid version. I don’t mind paying for apps, I have several paid ones, but I hate being deceived. Ethical developers list their prices up front instead of trying to trick people.

No easy way to cancel. This app is free for “7” days, then the customer is automatically charged at “6” days. Which, ok, fine, charge for your app. But don’t offer it for free, have the app say when opened it is free for a trial only and to go to the App Store to cancel, but give no way to actually cancel. Give it a go—there is NO WAY to cancel given as an option for this app on the App Store or within the app itself. I’m certainly not ok with being charged $99 for something I downloaded to tell my mother if it was a good app or no.

Cancel. How do I cancel the app so it doesn’t charge me. I downloaded it today and the voice part for the languages I was looking for did not work. In the beginning it said you can go to setting and cancel the automatic app purchase but I don’t see such options.

Perfect. This app gives a perfect and accurate translation along with pronunciations. I really enjoy it.

Not at this time let me try the product out for a month and I’ll write a review.. I need to try your product before I can provide a review.

Not worth it. It seems that works well, but for each translation you see 10 adverts at least.

How to stop billing?. I purchased the app and the instructions say the subscription can be cancelled any time, but through iTunes. Now, where in iTunes? I wasted hours on this. Please send me a link to turn off the automatic renewal, or send me the actual instructions. Thank you.

Hard to cancel subscription. I would give 5 stars but it is very tricky to find where to cancel subscription. I still am not able to find how to cancel.

Speed of words translated. The speed in which the native speaker is talking is too fast to understand to be able to read Pete and learn. it needs to be slow down please.

No internet alert. It always says no internet connection, I have tried wifi, 3G, 4g LTE. Have tried all language pairs. But it just don't work. However ads are showing pretty well without internet 😋. I have tried relaunching the app, even restarted the iPhone 6s as well. this issue occurs for few hours, after that it started working.

Won’t pause. As soon as it translates to English the Japanese script disappears. I would like to copy it but it’s gone. It would be great if this app had a pause keyOr even a repeat key. If there is a pause or repeat key could somebody let me know?

Don’t Download This App!!!. You’ll be charge $21+ every month forever. There’s no way to cancel the charge except to cancel your credit card. No support from Apple to help delete the charges. The app itself worked marginally when I used it in Europe this past fall. Stay away from this app!

Scam. I never wanted to use this but the auto renewal and forced charge is unethical and wrong. I never installed the app when I saw paid subscription but eventually you have forced a payment. Refund my money. I am sure you know that such sales tactics don’t work.

Charges. I’ve deleted and uninstalled the app but I’m still getting charged for this. The same day that this app was installed it I deleted the app. When it asked me to use thumb print to install it it also went ahead and charged me for the app. I had no intention on purchasing an app that I was going to charge me to use it. This is the 2nd time I’ve been charged for this. How can I resolve this issue?

Such a waste!!!. I downloaded this app and it said no connection, I specifically check my Internet connection several times and it still said there was no Internet connection. I turned on and off my Wi-Fi to see if it was my Wi-Fi. It appeared just to be the app, the app cannot tell when there is Wi-Fi connection or not, this is a big rip off and a bunch of waste of your space. Please show this app is worthy to download I am very frustrated with this app!

Awful. I would give this a zero star if I could. As other users, I cannot cancel the free one week trial subscription. I downloaded to try it today. It does not show up as a subscription, I think, because the trial is free. Even though it says you can cancel any time within the first week you can’t because it does not show as a subscription. Apple was no help because they just keep saying it isn’t a subscription, even though I had to click on free one week subscription. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO KEEP IT AND PAY FOR IT.

Paid for a Pro subscription, only supported language doesn’t work!. Was looking to translate spoken English to/from Ukrainian since Ukrainian is listed as a supported language. When we got to the conversation mode, clicking on the microphone popped up the message that translations were not available for this language pair. Really?? This is an essential language right now with what’s going on in the world… shocked that it would be listed as an available language but not supported. Cancelled the subscription.

Really bad. This app constantly says ‘no internet connection’ When all my other apps are working on my WiFi..Probably does this because I opted for free version...What they are trying to charge for this app is BEYOND A JOKE!!! One option is for 20 bucks a week!!! Lol Are they serious? They then offer their best option for 40 bucks for the year...These developers are nuts!! If they just charged 10 dollars one time fee then it might be worth it...$9.99 for life in my opinion...These people are rip off merchants...Keep your money in your pocket and go with a $4.99 one time option...There are enough of them out there for just 5 bucks with no ads!

Severity 0 Application Crash. Application crashes 100% of the time upon launch on IPhone 6/6s with latest software update

3 day trial impossible to cancel. My Iranian friend and I used the app yesterday; English and Persian. (No Farsi available). The live language audio was inoperable. When trying to cancel my subscription, I discovered it was impossible. There is no way to do so, unless you try e-mailing the Lithuanian Developer!

Horrible. It charged my card 5 times I tried to cancel the app and it keeps charging my card my daughter purchased it playing on my phone and idk how she accepted it but I deleted the app and it’s still taking money away from my card . I need a refund .

Horrible app. I didn’t subscribe any plan of this app but even after deleted app they still charged me for it. So I had to delete my card information in my phone but to pay for another app I just updated my car info and they took off the money again just right now.

Doesn’t recognize being on the internet. While the app in general does a pretty decent job, it is frustrating that it doesn’t always recognize being online and will not translate. Restarting the device, closing the app doesn’t work to correct the issue. This one I actually am paying for and it is only working about 75% of the time. Therefore should only be pay 75% of the bill. I am considering canceling the subscription and deleting the app. It needs to function at least 98% of the time.

Teachers Aid. This App is very useful when trying to communicate with students speed a language other than English. Thank you 👍🏼

Not satisfied at all.. I downloaded this app to check it out and decided I didn’t want to use it so I deleted it. Today I got a notice saying the charge to my card did not go through. Thank God the account I used has no money in it right not. How do I get out of this?

Difficult to cancel membership. I’ve been charged for not using this for a few months...I admit it’s my fault for not checking my bank statements but there’s no way to cancel my membership...at least it’s not easy to do so without contacting them. I just emailed them and I’m waiting for a response

Super user hostile. Tried scrolling to a language to have some text translated and it kept swiping down the screen making it super frustrating super fast, only to find out that Japanese was not a language that was a led to use the picture part

Extremely Helpful!!!. I work for the USO at the Regional St. Louis International Airport. I cater to the military service personnel and their families not only from the USA, but from all over the world. I’ve tried other translator apps but I’ve had problems with each one as well. They don’t always have all of the words and/or phrases I may need at the time. On any given day, we literally have dozens of service personnel coming in the USO headed to a variety of bases, or seaports to cross trained with our military. This translator is so helpful and easy to use. All you have to do is first select the country you want, then type/speak what you want to say in English, hit the Translate and it will be displayed on your screen and speak in in your selected language. It’s that simple. It’s also a good tool to have at your disposal if you travel outside the United States to a country where English is not their primary language. I’m glad I found this app and can tell you I’ll never be without it.

Rip off artist. These people are rip off artist I tried this app and it was not what I wanted so I deleted it and did not use it at all however they took money’s every mouth for the last seven mouths and I can’t stop it without going to my bank and discontinuing my card and getting a new one

What a ripoff. If you’re unfortunate enough to download this app and witness it subscribe to itself, check your email for your apple store receipt. The impossible to find link to cancel the subscription is in the email. Who in their right mind would pay $20 a WEEK for this garbage?

Rip Off. This was the biggest rip off. Really my own fault for not catching it sooner. They charged me $10/week for a few months before I got smart and figured out what was going on. They also have an option for $10/month but they’re happy to take peoples money and not look back. Just wanted folks to know and be aware of the subscription you sign up for ...

Ripoff. 1 week free and then it’s 50$ No app is worth that much. If you travel once a year for vacation that’s about 5 days of use, you can literally hire a translator for five days in Mexico for that amount, and he’ll probably be a tour guide as well lol.

Scum. I had an issue similar to other users. Free subscription could not be cancelled and “translated” into a paid one at over $20/month. I noticed on the second month and thought it was another security breach with my Amex. Amex statement does not list the name of the app just “iTunes” charge. I had similar fraudulent charges before and every time those were a result of a security breach. Replaced the card, hassle in itself, disputed the charges and now my Apple ID was disabled. Customer service at Apple was supposed to be open until 11 CST but, apparently, they changed it to 10 without notifying anyone. Very disappointed in this developer but, especially, in Apple customer service.

Unsubscribe. Hi - I am on the one week free trial and would like to unsubscribe. For some reason my apple account shows don’t have an ‘active subscription’ but when I downloaded the app I understood the trial would automatically convert to a paid subscription after one week? How can I make sure I won’t get billed?

Can’t connect to internet. Worked fine when trying for free. After I paid for it and went overseas, it no longer works and keeps reporting “internet connection appears to be offline” while my phone IS connected to internet. Tried re-install it but no difference. My $69 is totally wasted.

Google Translate.... I downloaded this app to avoid google translate and then, on the side in a font colour that matches the background it says translated by google. Other than that the free version works well.

Awful. Rubbish, going elsewhere. I downloaded this app and it wouldn’t work on my iPhone. It keeps saying there is no internet connection however my phone is connected to the internet. So essentially it’s a lemon.

New version 2.17. Latest app update for iOS 11.2.6 keeps on crashing. Not opening the app. Unable to open the app. Closes itself immediately. When double clicked home button it shows app running in background but not able to bring forward.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP. Very sneaky to automatically charge 68.99$ for a year plan 3 days after you download the app with no warning. I was just checking it out at work and forgot about it for a couple days. Boom! No warning and I automatically get charged! It may not seem like a big deal to some but it is a big deal to me! 0 stars if I could rate it. This is unfair and should NOT be allowed.

SCAM. I downloaded this app wanting a translator and then a tab about a 25$ subscription popped in my face and I didn't read it thinking it was a terms and conditions type of thing and the face ID activated to confirm my purchase. After I realized what I bought, I tried to look in the app settings for a cancel subscription button and found a recover purchases button. I clicked on it and deleted the app thinking they wouldn't charge me but they did. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

Not working as expected. Not able to translate a single word. Apple speech recognition picks up every word I said on both languages I test, but the app only return not able to connect to internet and no translation at all. Lucky it allows 1 week for trial; I stopped the subscription and deleted app within an hour.

Some languages are not supported.. Some languages are not supported for translation. Thankfully i am using the free trial version. This should be fixed!

Ambush subscription.. This app tricked me into a membership I never wanted with no posted warnings. It wasn’t until I saw it on my statement that I realized they were swindling me out of $21 a week!! Screw them!
