Is this even an app? 0 stars. This app blocks any number that I don’t have saved in my phone, fine. There is no easy way to toggle this on or off which I need to do occasionally when waiting for calls from new numbers. There are no features, every time I open the app it tells me that’s it’s “having trouble connecting to its server” and that I should relaunch the app but not reinstall. Calls are being blocked, but the app doesn’t really function otherwise and I have almost no control over which calls are getting through. Two of the 4 sections of the app (block and search) I can’t even access.

Worthless trash. Everyday I start getting BS phone calls when this app is supposed to be ON & screening every call. I have it set on the highest alert. Everyday when those calls start I open the app. Not on, not screening any calls! Literally every morning-it’s off! Complete TRASH! Since T-Mobile bought out Sprint things are worse now than ever for Sprint customers!🙄 UPDATE: after iOS 14 update Call Screener STILL TRASH! Was off again this morning! I’m done-deleting this garbage off my phone!😡

Does not work. I saw an advertisement from the T-Mobile CEO who said this service would be available for free to Sprint clients and it can be downloaded. I’ve downloaded but keep getting an error message saying server cannot be reached and try again in 15 minutes. Have been working on this for over a month and stop can’t connect. Imagine if this is representative of the customer service and reliability we can expect going forward?

FREE OFFER?? READ REVIEWS!. I’m a Sprint customer & now they’ve merged with T-Mobile I got an app for “Tuesday Thank You” & this app was listed as a FREE service/benefit to Sprint/T-Mobile customers. While it was downloading, just now, I started reading reviews. THANK YOU to EVERYONE who wrote a review as now I’m about to delete the app without wasting time opening it! Ironically, I don’t see ANY responses to the issues in the reviews from the developers. Do they even care? I suppose with it being free the old cliche applies, “you get what you pay for”! No thanks!!

Horrible app at this time. Constantly have to enable features. Every time you try to use it to block numbers you have to shut down and restart the app and even then you still get errors and have to restart it several times to hopefully work. Doesn’t automatically update spam list. Lots of issues with this app. Wish we could use the new one through T-mobile to see if it was any better since sprint and T-mobile are the same now. The free blockers work better than this horrible app.

App Support not available.. I get an error adding numbers to the my blocked list and when I open the App Support link it opens to the Sprints Call Screener page. On this page there is a Contact Us option but when using this option the person answering the chat has no idea what Call Screener is. How are the sprint customers supposed to report a problem with the app. Suggestions is to have a problem reporting option in the app.

No. Undecided. I am overwhelmed with the inundated spam calls all day long. There are some cases where I answer because I don’t know if it’s an important call from like my doctors office, my car dealership, or professional service like a bank or a company I’m waiting for to call me back. If and when I do answer the call it’s spam/Robo/fraud and these phone numbers are changing so fast and these tools they used to call me they use local numbers to trick me and make me think it’s an important local call as if we are dumb like we don’t know but at the end of the day it’s too much and it’s extremely overwhelming. I don’t see the point on answer my phone anymore and I do not know if this app actually works. The calls are truly overwhelming.

Resets everyday Spam calls are still coming in. Now that this is free it makes sense to try it. I am noticing that everyday the app needs to update. Recently, the app has trouble connecting to servers. Once connected and updated, my filter settings need to be set again. I am consistently getting spam calls everyday now which defeats the purpose of this app. I sincerely hope that there are changes to make this app functional. You get what you pay for I guess.

Does not stay enabled. I have to continually ensure the app is enabled. So frustrating. ***UPDATE*** You responded to me asking me to email you, which I did and received no response. I really wish I could rate this service zero stars!!!! It’s extremely frustrating to have to go in and enable this service after every spam call I receive. The block filter keeps switching off and never actually blocks any calls. Please remove this app, and start of because IT’S JUST NOT WORKING!

Adds your number to other scammers. I was getting 1-2 calls per day, not a big deal. I installed this app per the T-Mobile and Sprint merger. It changed my phone incoming calls to not show numbers, and since I need that info to decide to answer, I deleted the app and unsubscribed from the service. Since then, I have had over 10 calls per day from all over. Seems they make you get spam calls to force you into using their service, this service is very sketchy and misleading, do not use!

Works at times but frustrating to use and can’t disable. This app screens scam calls appropriately but also constantly screens legitimate calls and there is no way to pick up when you see a call is being screened. Additionally, every time I have tried to disable the screener it give me an error message and that I should try in 15 minutes. It will not let me disable the screening, and there is no support to reach out to. Extremely frustrating.

Useless. In the month I’ve used this app, it has blocked one call. ONE. Over 90 robodialers and “Canadian pharmacy” have come through, despite the app, in the same period of time. An average of 3/day. And when then do, you’d think I could easily just add the offending number, right? Nope. To add a number, you have to type or copy/paste the number from your call log. It would be SUPER easy to include a “choose from recent calls” option, but this app doesn’t do that. This could easily be a 3-4 star app, but clearly, meeting the practical needs of the consumer/customer is far less important to Sprint/TMobile than being able to produce a television commercial that (dishonesty) says, “We will help you manage and reduce your spam callers.” Shameful.

Update fixed an issue. Really lacking in features. I’m paying three dollars for the service a month and it doesn’t tell me the calls that it has blocked automatically. I’d like a history of all the calls that it has automatically blocked on my phone. As for the latest update that’s about 30 hours old as of the time of this review, it fixed a huge problem with the app that it basically was not allowing me to search numbers directly from my call list. However, there was nothing in the App Store on my iPhone that said there was a pending update. It could be that the update was throttled because it was so new. On a hunch, I went into the app in the App Store and I was just lucky to have seen that there was an update to the app. This is not the same as updating the call block list, which appears to work every time I open the app. It would be great if they call block list could be updated off-line without the app having to be open. Might be nice to allow us to use the T-Mobile name ID app instead.

What is this app supposed to do?!?. If I could’ve rated it a ZERO I would have. I installed this app...waste of an hour-ish of my life...had several issues but finally was able to install and “successfully” set it up. Then I waited and waited for it to perform its duties. The app didn’t seem to be working so I hard booted my iPhone and went back to waiting. All calls that I’d previously blocked with the settings in the Phone app are now coming through unchecked and NOT being blocked or marked at all. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS WORTHLESS APP!

Still getting spam calls. While they are fewer than before, I still get spam calls, I would like to know what calls they blocked and why, also, I have a big list of blocked numbers on my iPhone that are from spammers, but the only way to add them to the app is to go back and forth typing them individually by hand... this has the potential to be a really useful tool to use against spammers, but right now, it just doesn’t measure up. I hope they improve it.

Need a lot of work?. Super basic functions but doesn’t really block anything until you add the number to the system. I get calls from unknown numbers and they come through fine. When I search the system for said number is will pop up fraud, scammers, etc.! But it should be blocking those before they come through sense the number is already I. The data base. Could be good if it worked as advertised. I’m better off just using the call blocker built in to the phone.

App ineffective & time consumptive & has the nerve to charge $. I can’t believe Sprint has the nerve to charge for such an ineffective app/service! I don’t mind paying for an app that actually does the job but I have heard that with other carriers the service is free and is working well. This app costs and does not do the job effectively. Before the iOS update at least the app auto-loaded the caller phone number into the app in order to report the caller. No more. Now I have to write it down so I can enter myself and then report it. So all those robocallers and scam auto warranty calls come through this app. Since I rarely answer I don’t even know, but what I’d like is for the app TO NOT COST ME IN TIME AND MONEY AND ACTUALLY DO THE JOB!!! And now I understand that with the update the Call Screener does not let me see the caller ID? This is ridiculous. Unless you want this for someone who is not smart enough not to answer random calls...save your money. This app barely accomplishes the task of blocking any calls. Save your money and time waiting on hold with Sprint customer service to bother getting this app!

Not a spam number - no easy standard way to fix. There is an important number erroneously identified as SPAM. The app says to fix this send an email to a specific address they provide. I did this and was told they don’t handle that. I should call customer service. Really? Like the average random customer service rep picking up the phone is going to be able to fix this. Doubt it. And I have no more energy today to deal with non-expert customer service reps answering phones. The app could use a way for people to add numbers back in themselves and identify them as not spam on their phones. And the documentation needs to be updated with the correct information to fix this. Other than that. The app works great. Prior to this I would’ve rated it five stars.

Good idea but frustrating. When this worked it was great. But it only worked while I had the app open and on it. The moment I would leave the app it would reset and un-enable itself. So basically I would not get any spam protection from the app. It would update the spam list and I could search to see if the weird number that called me was actually a spam number since it didn’t automatically look for me. Maybe I will look at this again in a few months.

Junk app. Well if Sprint is now owned by T-Mobile and we are supposed to be getting T-Mobiles feature here then why does this app look nothing like T-Mobile app? Since I’ve got this app I’ve had to open it to get it to update the database and at total random for whatever reason it just turns the block filter off which is off by default when installing the app and that’s the entire point in the app. Then in addition it changes the phone number to the location which the iPhone shows you anyhow. I don’t need to be shown the location twice. This app was junk when it was solely owned by Sprint and it’s still junk now. Maybe get T-Mobile app developers to rewrite it and release it seems there app looks like it’s got good reviews.

Worthless. I installed this app after Sprint made it free. I can’t believe they actually had the nerve to charge people for this at one time! I get several spam calls daily that it doesn’t recognize as spam so I go through the steps to mark the number as spam. Today it actually recognized a spam call but didn’t block it! It even said possible spam on my screen while it was ringing. Yes, I have my app set up correctly. Don’t waste your time with this app.

App doesn't work as advertised. I've had it for a few years and only keep it because it's free, but it has never really done what the carrier claims it does. It's basically repeating the iPhone "block" feature in iPhone settings. Even when you add numbers, it doesn't do a good job of preventing calls from getting through. The call search app does such a poor job of blocking calls that I always leave my phone on DND, which only helps a little. I also had Sprint remove voice mail from my account so I won't have to be bothered with all the spam calls.

Cumbersome.... When you receive a spam call, that’s not on “their” list, you have to actually 1) open up the app, 2) go to “add spam number”, 3) type in the Phone Number, Select Label, and Name(optional). Who will be doing all of this for each spam call????? Additionally, all of the spam numbers you’ve already blocked (I have hundreds), require you to sit and enter each one individually, via the above method. This is a joke! They had no developers capable of integrating #’s we’ve blocked into the App? If the #’s not already on their list, this “Newly Upgraded App” is really pretty useless. Though Sprint has become T Mobile, the apps are still separate. I wonder if the TMobile app is any better?

App doesn't stay open and keeps turning off call blocking. Edit again: nope, it’s still having the same issues, although definitely less frequently. Edit: the app finally got updated, and the below problems seem to be no more... I’m keeping the title as is for now. As the title says, this app doesn't stay open in the background, so you essentially relaunch it every time you want to have it update the spam caller database. Worse yet, it often forgets you are a current/eligible subscriber, so you have to tap through the onboarding process almost every time it opens. Additionally, the block filter doesn't stay enabled because the app doesn't stay open. Somehow this app is everything I need but nothing I want.

Worse than nothing. I got this app free with sprint when they merged with T-Mobile. I thought it would help me get less spam calls but I’m actually getting more. The other thing is that on the caller ID it only lists some name that means nothing to me or a city and not the phone number. At least before I would get the phone number so I could look at it and see if it was something I recognized. This app is completely worthless. The settings are actually nothing besides turning it on or turning it off. It does list certain levels but I have no idea what it’s blocking or not because I’m getting just as many or more spam calls as I used to. I decided to disable it and remove it from my phone. If they improve it I might try it again in the future but for now it makes things worse

Read the instructions. My 11 Pro Max was doing the exact same thing as everyone else is describing until I followed the directions and went into settings>phone>call blocking and identification>premium called id. If you don’t go in and switch this on. The app will not work. App works great people just need to learn how to read before writing reviews.

Can’t download. Overall I am very happy with Sprint. However, I can’t even subscribe to this service. I get an error message every time. I need to know when doctors are calling and I just get get the number, no more information, like name of company that is calling. Their tech support has frequently been in touch over the last week, which I appreciate, but they can’t even replicate the error I’m getting. This is a disappointment. I hope this gets an overhaul or T Mobile is able to do something better.

Sprint & T-Mobile MERGE?. This was a really great app. I still have it on my phone. I also now have the T-Mobile Scam at p. But I would really like to know… what will become of this app? Will it too be brought forward into the merge?

Needs to be on different level.... ... So t-mobile really needs to get with the program and to say it needs to be quickly is an understatement in regards to them improving the ENTIRE Sprint experience!! This app is just one tiny thing of the MANY needed improvements that have to happen to ensure they do not start lossing all of those subscribers the “got” from the merger... Not like anyone will see this review and respond. T-mobile you say? Nah same junky Sprint experience as it has always been!

Doesn’t appear to actually block anything. Yes I had all the settings turned on as instructed and told it to block everything. I went to add a spam caller that got through to the blocked list and was informed that that number was already being blocked. I think I’ll stick with just blocking these myself using the iPhone block caller feature. At least that works and I can see the number trying to call me along with the city/state.

Can’t stop it. My problem is that this blocker blocks EVERYTHING. Even local phone numbers from legit businesses. I don’t get a call unless it is in my contact list. I kept missing phone calls for potential interviews when I was out of work. It’s so embarrassing to explain that my phone doesn’t accept calls. And now I can’t seem to get rid of it. I tried to turn the app features off. But that didn’t work. I deleted the app. But that didn’t work. My phone continues to block all phone calls.

NON STOP CALLS. If I could give this a negative rating I would. I decided to get the app cause why not—it’s free and let’s me know if it’s a scam call. Since downloading the app, it’s been NONSTOP callers from different states and countries. This has literally never happened before. Pretty sure they’re selling your information/phone number to different companies to make a quick buck / put your number through a automated robotic system designed to call different numbers. -10/10 would not recommend.

No instructions ANYWHERE!. I guess the reason they give it away for free now it's because it's completely worthless! I signed up and installed it and it did nothing if the app is supposed to be running all the time there are absolutely no instructions in the app or even online separately that that is the case so as far as I'm concerned this is a worthless piece of crap! Yes! it let a call on the spam list get through that I even verified and it's on their list already!!

Terrible. It’s blocked tons of calls....calls I actually need and am waiting for. Like, it literally came through at the top of the screen the name of the Physicians office. Why are you blocking it?! You know who it is, it’s clearly not spam! I then turned it to the middle blocker and it was still blocking everything. I turned it off and it made no difference. Finally I deleted it, but I guess it’s still connected to my phone somehow and I’m still missing important calls.

Very good App. This App worked well for me and very simple to use even though I had to put each phone number in that I wanted Blocked. Now I have TMobile Scam Blocker I can’t single out numbers I want to block anymore which makes the App useless.

Mostly garbage. I’m not paying for it so there is that. However it doesn’t do what it says it will. I have it set to block all risk levels, but it blocks very little because the numbers keep changing faster than they can update their database. I’ve seen no additional caller ID information as promised. Another thing is, in the couple instances a number rang through that was already identified as spam/fraud, they were not labeled so I didn’t find out until I tried to add them as spam. Those are the only unwanted calls in my history that are not labeled spam/fraud & no label I try to add will stick???? Also there are too many steps to add to fraud list. There should be a way to default some of the settings and only override them when they’re different. We’re helping them build a database of bad numbers, for what I don’t know, and getting little to nothing in return. I’ll keep it now that I started with it, but if you haven’t installed it yet, I wouldn’t bother.

Sprint needs to reevaluate this offering. In addition to the other reviews that rate this app on the lower end of the scale, I would like to add that my experience thus far has been similar. I have not found this app to work particularly well, if at all, and the most irksome issue is that every time the database updates - which is often and a good thing - the app turns off blocking which is NOT a good thing. What this means is that I must constantly monitor its status and then re-engage blocking several times a day. Did anyone perform a quality check on this before injecting it to the masses? I appreciate that it’s free to use but seriously, take it off of the store if you won’t do it right.

Don’t waste your time // I’m deleting it now. App doesn’t report what it has blocked, and in my experience it doesn’t actually block spam or fraudulent callers, because the spam calls I was getting before are still happening 👀. It blocked me test calling from a new number once too😰 Since I installed the app I’ve taken calls from people claiming to from my internet provider trying to get me setup on a bigger data plan, and other things like that, so there really isn’t a point to wasting your free space on this thing.

I miss this app. I wish T mobile would have brought over the features of this app over to their app because I want a app that allows me to block text messages only and not calls this app gave me that option and I miss it very much

Does not stop calls. I download this app because it was free with Sprint. If you are looking to stop unwanted calls from getting through this is not the app for you. Although I’m sure it does block a few numbers for big companies or registered corporations. The main problem I have and what most people have are robocalls and cloned numbers. Thus app will give you a name to an unwanted number but that doesn’t mean that’s who the call in coming from. So these type of calls still get through. I still get about 5 per day on average. So if you’re looking for something to stop the madness of unsolicited phone calls, this is not the app to do so.

No longer works. I’ve been using the Call Screener app for about two years. Up until a week ago, it seemed to work really great, but all of a sudden it stopped working. I’ve noticed an influx of spam and Robo calls. When I share these with the Call Screener app, it no longer populates the number of the call. There is the same phone number there, the last one I marked before the app stopped working. I have to manually add each number. I’ve also noticed that some numbers that have previously been blocked, still ring through. Unfortunately, there’s no “contact us“ on the app and I cannot ask the developers what is going on. So all I can assume is that the app no longer works correctly.

Doesn’t update often enough. Every other day isn’t good enough. Sometimes it is everyday. Be consistent. Also set to update early AM auto push update instead of needing to open the app. I’ve gotten 4 calls this morning and all spam. Update even if it is only a few numbers in the update. On the other side, it does help with stupid spam calls but needs a little love to work better. Thanks.

Blocks more than needed. Such a great app. It does block most spam calls. But it also blocks calls from places like airline companies, banks and hotels that are trying to return your call. And even when you see the call coming while its being silenced you cant pick up that call. The only way to make it work is to disable the app if expecting to receive the call. I know that the developer wants you to e mail them the legitimate number that was blocked. I think I have better things to do with my time.

Why do we have to pay for a useless service??. I haven’t even found that it has blocked any calls that I have reported. I haven’t found it to be worth spending money on each month. I have talked with people who have other cell providers and the service is free and actually prevents spammy calls. As far as I can tell, I pay each month and then I spend time reporting calls and even after blocking them, the calls still ring through. Don’t bother! Sprint, it would be lovely if you provided this service IF it worked. As serviceable as it is now, you should be paying us. We shouldn’t be paying you

Does not work. I have had premium caller ID for years and it worked fine it was not until I upgraded to iPhone XS Max that I start having problems. It does not work at all I have reset my phone, taken it in to the store only to waste an hour of my time, been on the phone with technicians only waste more hours of my time. I was even told to download this app🤦🏾‍♀️ this does not make it work. I have been with this company for almost 20 years I’m starting to think it’s time to part ways

Waste of time. After reading that Sprint (as part of its merger with T-Mobile) was providing customers with robo and scam call protection, I called Sprint customer service three times. Each time I spent over an hour on the phone and each time I was given a different answer. The last time I was directed to download this app. After I did, all I ever got was a message that it could not connect with the Sprint server. When I spoke to a Sprint technical assistance specialist he was unable to resolve the problem and, after another long call, promised to “report the problem.” The promise to provide this service is a sham. Don’t waste your time.

Sprint customers must be second rate. Apparently T Mobile customers get Scam Shield which is rated with 5 stars, while Sprint customers get call shield which does nothing. I downloaded a free version of HIYA and a free version of YOU CALL. Sprint is first and catches nothing. HIYA catches all the calls, but since it’s free, your phone rings. YOUCALL catches messaging. Also Sprint is supposed to identify the caller. All I ever get is “No information Available”. Another thing, is I have an iPhone blocked call list that has all the spoofed numbers from this same fraudulent caller, but I cannot import my iPhone blocked calls into the app. This is a normal premium function that is available on all the paid call screeners I’ve looked at. Sprint Customers must really rate low in T Mobiles opinion. What’s next, a price hike?

Doesn’t block anything at all. This app is useless. It doesn’t block any spam calls. You go through the process of setting it up and have it running but no spam or fraud calls ever get blocked. I “share” every single call I don’t want getting through and the app says it has already identified it as span or fraud. So why did my phone ring then???? It’s free and useless. I wouldn’t pay anything for this service. Sprint/T-Mobile needs to do some serious updating and make the service work and stay running in the background with closing all the time before this will ever be capable of blocking anything. Very disappointed

Useless - ZERO stars!. The regular caller ID on my phone shows the phone number and the city/state of whoever is calling me. I downloaded this hoping to get more information on the random callers, instead it shows LESS INFORMATION than regular caller ID. Now I knit get the city/state on bold print instead of showing the phone number with that information. So dumb! Sometimes offices have a few similar numbers so even though I only have one saved if I get a call from a similar number I’ll sometimes pick up and sure enough it’s another number for that office. This app eliminates that ability to really screen your calls because it hides the phone number. I also get a lot of spam calls from numbers similar to mine and I know NOT to pick up when I see that - again this app prevents me from screening those calls since it doesn’t show the phone number. Developers really dropped the ball here - I can’t believe some people think this is a good app..... mind boggling! How is showing me LESS information helpful for screening calls.

Not Supported for iPhone Xs Max per Sprint Support. I was paying $2.99/month for the Sprint Premium Caller ID since 2016. It worked great. It displayed the caller ID of almost every number that called that wasn't in my contact list, except for the "Private", "Wireless Caller" and "Unknown" numbers. Half way through my iPhone X it stopped working. It currently doesn't work for my iPhone Xs Max. I spoke to 8 different Sprint tech support agents. The last agent I spoke to a few days ago mentioned that this is a known issue with the Sprint Premium Caller ID with the iPhone X and Xs series and there is no estimated time on when it will be resolved.

SCAM. When you first see this “wonderful” app, it would appear to be free since it says nothing about a fee. Once you download it and give it access to take over like it tells you to do, it then freezes and demands you join for a monthly fee of $3.00. As if they don’t make enough money from us they now have to use tactics like these to trick people. Next Sprint will charge us for using our phones outside and double for the indoor use. Oops, gave them an idea.

Useless. This app has been useless to me ever since I added it on my phone. I am not paying for it, it is free being provided by my carrier. However I set the risk and turn on the blocking and come back to it in a few hours and I have to set it again. It doesn’t hold the setting, it has not blocked one number that I know of. Very disappointed!!

Helped Some. Sprint provides this for free and it has reduced spam calls a lot for me. I used to get about 6 spam calls a day and now it’s down to 2/3. It seems to be improving its performance over time.

Doesn’t screen much at all. Simply shows the caller ID, but since it’s probably faked it doesn’t do much. I’d say it has flagged 1 call out of 20. If you decide to take the time to add one to their database it just sits there forever like the app is stuck. Assuming every call that you don’t recognize is a robocall accomplishes the same thing.

Was this even tested before it was rolled out to clients?. It’s extremely frustrating to be offered a feature that is supposed to improve your phone usage and it doesn’t work. All this app did was consume my time and take up space in my phone. With all due respect please exhaust all testing possibilities before sending out a notification for “a great new feature”.

Blocked my husband!!!. Was excited to download the app when I received the email. Downloaded that night and the next day ONLY my husband’s calls came through as “No Caller ID”. After I deleted the app and worked with 4 reps, his calls were back to normal. Ok great! I’ll download the app again, only for the same thing to happen AGAIN! Install, delete, repeat. Very annoying! How can it block a contact that’s in my phone.

Completely ineffective. This is possibly the worst call screen. I’ve gotten more spam and fraud calls than ever!! I keep having to tell it who the spam calls are. If I’m going to input data on their database for them, perhaps they could pay me!!😠 Further, it said it had blocked a number it didn’t not block, it came thru on my phone & watch with no alert, warning, risk potential, nothing. Incredibly bad app.

Worthless. I’ve had this app for years. I don’t know if I pay for it or not but it’s not worth it. I’ve just never taken it off. I hope from time to time they update the features and application in general but I always let myself down. Don’t let these pictures fo you when you open it up. This app is trash. They should really think about adding or merging with the T-Mobile app.

Absolutely horrible. I can’t get the darn thing to work at all it keeps saying error. Ever since t-mobile and sprint merged it has been the worst service I’ve dealt with. Although I’ve been with sprint for over 20 years, I’m about to drop them like a bad habit. I’m just sick of the entire company. As soon as I can find a company that I’m satisfied with, I’m outta here!

Keeps resetting, turning off call blocker. Update: I deleted this app because it kept blocking calls from my doctor. This app keeps resetting itself, turning off the call blocker feature. Basically, the app needs to be restarted daily and even then I'm not sure it works. I get as many robo, spam, telemarketing, and silent calls as before.

Poorly done app. The biggest problem is that the app appears to think you are just start out using the app every time you open it. When I go into the app to see why a call has not been blocked, it shows the call filters are off. That has been an issue for several months and has not been fixed.

Not always working. Most of the time when I open call screener the block filter keeps turning off🤔suppose to stay on and also the app keeps going back to the main screen like your using the app for the first time

Creates more spam calls. I installed this app... although it does work with anonymous calls. It creates a lot of spam calls. From the day that I installed it I kept getting multiple daily calls. It starts with once a day then it just increases. It’s been a week since I deleted the app and all the spam calls stopped. This app is a waste of time and invasion on privacy.

******DO NOT USE THIS APP****. The app took away my ability to see the phone number of people who are calling. Sprints tech support team does not know how to fix it. I have deleted the app... factory reset and everything..people who were saved in the phone as contacts no longer show up when calling. It’s a mess. Why you you market this to someone??? And then have no way to fix it.

Don’t download. You’re better off turning on “silence unknown callers” in your settings. Send them straight to voicemail. Yes you might miss a few calls, but it catches more than the app. I do not like that you have to open the app in order for it to refresh to add new numbers to the list. I really wish they would let us use T-Mobile.

What great service. Got this app about two weeks ago. Tried “enabling“ and said try back later well two weeks later still not able to “enable” it. What a worthless app. Maybe work the bugs out before offering it? Maybe take a bit out of the two but apps that sink because of the hurry up and release before their ready.

Hasn’t blocked one call. Good thing Sprint is giving away this app for free. That’s what it’s worth. In the two months I’ve used it, the app hasn’t blocked one call. The app seems to work by crowdsourcing the list of spam/robocalls. BUT...if people using the app don’t add to the list, it doesn’t stay updated and calls still ring through. It’s a good concept that only works if everyone participates.

Caller ID is useless. Incoming Caller ID only displays city/state with no way to see the actual phone number! You can only find the phone number by going to Phone > Recents > Information after the fact. iOS already displays city/state for incoming calls by default, we don’t need it twice! Please fix this. Update: Have had to open the app to re-enable blocking daily! Block Filter Settings do not persist.

Barely functional. About once every three times, the app treats me like a new user. After getting calls I wouldn’t think I should be getting since I have everything suspicious being blocked, I go in to the app and my settings are set. Going back to my iPhone blocking until they can’t get in line with T-mobile’s scam shield (which they own so...?)

App no longer works on new iPhone. App worded great on my iPhone 7 and works well on my wife’s iPhone X but after I got the iPhone XS this year I get the “App can’t connect to servers please try again in 15 Minuets do not uninstall the app.” Well by now I’ve tried the uninstall reinstall and take off and re-add the subscription to my account with no luck at all. Tried sprint support but they don’t understand what I am taking about.

Doesn’t work. It keeps turning everything off, and saying I’m not registered or server can’t be reached or there is an issue. Everyday it is asking me to “register “ again and it doesn’t even block any number. Every time I go to look at it, it’s asking me to enable now (when I have multiple times) and then it has my block list level turned off. Very frustrating.

Worse than nothing. I downloaded last week when Sprint emailed about it. Before then I got maybe one or two spam calls a week. Since downloading I have been besieged by spam calls. Sometimes 4 in a couple minutes. It’s like someone hacked it. I deleted yesterday and still getting lots of calls. Do yourself a favor and avoid it.

Gave me more spam calls. Since downloading this, I’ve had a ridiculous amount of new spam calls that continue to call even after asking them to stop. I was honestly better off before downloading, and have unsubscribes and removed this service. I wouldn’t recommend at all, it’s less of a time-waste for me to block calls individually myself.

This is so weak. Forget about the fact that this is one of the most poorly implemented solutions of all the carriers for a moment and realize that there will come a time you can no longer add new spam numbers because this software’s list is full. Try and provide input, nope this is the only place. Enjoy your star. Huge fail.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. !!!!! You can’t delete the app once you download it !!!! I tried deleting the app multiple times, but sprint must have some restriction on that. This app is horrible. Why merge with T-Mobile if we’re not going to get any of the benefits? This app shows less information than regular ID. And is now just a bright yellow icon I can’t get rid of. Trust the reviews and save your home screen!!!!!

Made spam calls increase. An hour after I downloaded this app I started getting spam calls. Several an hour. I used to get one a week. I don’t think it was coincidence. And this app is terrible anyway! You have to manually type in numbers of spam calls. I’m deleting. But I’m afraid the damage is done and I’m going to keep getting the frequent spam calls

Great. Strange, some people say that they payFor this app. It is free and over the last month I have been almost completely spam free. I am pretty impressed so far.

Finally. After merging with T-Mobile this app is now FREE! I’m sure there are bugs to work out but worth it to have annoying robo callers blocked

Spam Filter turns off Daily. Every day I have to go back into the app and turn the Block Filter back on. Once it’s on it should stay on. There must be a analytical or data related reason why we need to open this app every single day

Bad Sales Gimmick. I have tried using this app many times with no success. In order to update the spam list, I have to delete the app and then reinstall it. I have tried adding numbers to the list and the app just sits there and spins. Now, I get this error that repeatedly states to try again in 15 minutes. Not worth the $3/month. In order to get that removed from your bill you have to go through the run around with Sprint.

Wow this app is bad. I used to not really get spam calls but a few times some were coming in and I was sick of it. I wanted the feature to know when it was most likely a spam call or block it altogether So I decided to try this app and wow, was I disappointed! I now get about 5 spam calls WEEKLY, whereas before I received a few MONTHLY - every OTHER month. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Could be better. Main pet peeve is that it shows the “name” of the unknown caller, but telling me “Toll Free” or other generic names isn’t helpful. It would at least be better if the phone number were also displayed on an incoming call that it identifies.

Does not actually flag spam calls. I was hoping this app would flash potential spam as “potential spam/scam” but instead, calls from unknown numbers have their city and state in capital letters instead of standard case, and still provides no indication as to whether they are spam or not.

OK as iOS apps go. Fine as the service goes.. The UI is just ok. Basic. The thing works, though, and you don’t need to spend a lot of time in it if you don’t want to. The background issues are common to these apps. Other apps suffer from it too. If you reboot your phone or force quit the app, it stops working. Turning on notifications helps, because notifications being enabled helps the app avoid being terminated in the background. This app does what is needed. But it’s not a great app. Delight does not seem to have been among the requirements, and the app seems not to do any more than is required.

This app is a joke. I can’t believe this is the app that Sprint (now part of TMobile) has us using to reduce spam. Since the TMobile merger my phone gets anywhere from 5-10 (sometimes more) spam texts or calls every day. This is ridiculous. I pay good mo way for my service and they deliver this crap. Seriously? Seriously looking to move companies due to this problem!!!

Don’t install it. I received numerous spam or robo calls when I had this installed and it did not flag any of them. Further more I turned on the “caller ID” feature and now my phone no longer shows any phone numbers that are calling so I can go back to self screening. Apparently once you turn on this caller ID feature there’s no way to get it back.

Worked until I got the new iPhone. Was actually a decent app until I upgraded to the new iPhones XS - as soon as I upgraded it stopped working. Kept saying that it couldn’t connect to server. Tried to connect with Sprint support and got nowhere. They just kept saying I should unsubscribe and resubscribe - which makes no sense - since it seems like a technical issue. Would reinstall in a second if Sprint actually updated to work with all phones they sell.

Uses a lot of battery. The app uses an incredible amount of battery power ever since I downloaded it my battery dies in half the time as normally would. It hasn’t blocked one call yet it has only provided caller Id which doesn’t help with spammers since they spoof their numbers anyway

If zero stars was an option that’s what it would get. Seriously needs to be updated Issues It does not interface with my existing I phone blocked caller list or phone list so white listing or blocking a caller requires inputting the number into this It’s caller ID function provides caller ID information for unknown callers which since there is a setting on I phone to block unknown callers has resulted in a significant increase in spam calls Until they improve it and synch it with the Apple features it is completely worthless and a waste of time I actually get more calls with it installed than I did before Maybe t mobile will be better when I get ported over

Less than useless. I keep opening and updating the list in the hopes that maybe it’s user error. So I spend as much time updating the list as I do ignoring spam calls. I had AT&T and their app before this and it worked so much better. I used to get one or two calls a month with AT&T’s screener. With this app I get multiple calls a day. I keep it in the hopes one day it will be useful but it’s more of a nuisance right now than a help.

What a joke. This app is completely useless. Doesn’t block any spam calls as I keep on receiving them everyday. What I don’t understand is, if sprint is now part of t mobile why can’t we download their app for spam calls. Reading their reviews it’s night and day comparing the two. Really deserves no stars but forces me to give it one

Doesn’t even connect to servers to set it up. I’d give this app zero stars, but 1 is the minimum. I wish I could give a review of the app, but the thing won’t even communicate with its servers. They made a big deal of promoting it on T-Mobile Tuesdays. You’d think they’d have a working app. The best part is it’s tag line is “The Protection you deserve”. Is this what they think of customers?

Doesn’t work for long. This app is kinda nice. The info it supplies is usually not helpful and hides the number of the incoming call in most instances, and replaces it with location. However, if that’s not enough, the program constantly closes and you have to keep opening for it to work. Needs some serious updating, please!

A caller ID that works!. I have tried several of the top rated blockers caller ID’s ect and I find this app gives me great onscreen information on who is calling and add the number to the spam list couldn’t be easier.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I have made Sprint aware that the app reconfigures the settings on your phone so that incoming calls do not display the number. Also has been marking legit calls from Sprint and Edison as Spam calls. Even deleting the app does not restore to your original incoming call display settings. I have reset my phone and have had Sprint work with me on this issue without any success. Do Not Download this app

App constantly resets itself. Since the most recent update that made the service free, the app resets itself at least once a day. Meaning o have to agree to the terms on the start screen, again, and I set the app to block all spam, and that setting turns itself off, meaning if I don’t go in every day and turn that setting back on, I start getting bombarded with spam calls again. Not a great start to all the “perks” this merger is providing.

Not worth it. I got this thinking it would help, but it made it worst, even after I took the app off. I still can’t receive calls unless it’s a number I have saved. I have no way to get this off now. I am missing important calls. I rather just deal with the spam then missing important business calls. ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FOX THIS🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Highly disappointed. I have only had this app for about a month. Before I downloaded I was receiving only a few unknown calls a week. Now everyday I am receiving calls from unknown numbers. I now have people texting me asking me why I called them and I never did! I am so mad that my number is out there for these hackers to steal. I thought this app was safe since recommended by sprint. I do not recommend.

Absolutely worthless. Since I downloaded this app I get many more scam calls than ever before. All it does is display the city/state that the call supposedly comes from in capital letters. Doesn’t block anything. If I have to type in every scam number into the app what good is it! I am starting to think that the app is spreading my phone number to the scammers instead of the other way around!

Can't turn on Call Screener Basic. I can't turn on Call Screener Basic. I keep getting error "Unable to complete action. Please try again in 300 seconds." Has anyone else seen this? Tried deleting app and re-installing. This is the only app on my phone that doesn't work and it is created by the company that I bought my phone from!
