App is almost useless with a 2020 Ram 2500. I downloaded this app with high hopes as the description makes it sound like a very full featured and useful addition to my expensive truck purchase. Sadly, it doesn’t live us to the hype at all! The only thing that kinda works, sometimes, is the remote lock/unlock and remote start. When these features do work, it takes a couple minutes for the truck to receive the signal. Sadly however, often the signal is apparently lost and the truck doesn’t do anything. Also, the remote diagnostics is apparently not something that is supported either. And the “Send n go” feature has never worked, the app doesn’t even give me the option to send an address/route to the truck. And I haven’t been able to find any documentation specifically saying whether this feature should be supported and there is an issue with my truck, or whether this is simply another of them overhyped yet unavailable features. Truly disappointed and will definitely not be continuing my subscription after the free trial period ends, unless these issues are resolved and is Ram 2500 owners get the features we should.

SOS call not working. I just bought my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude and already having Uconnect/Guardian access issues. Was on the phone multiple times for 3 days with Guardian and Uconnect customer service and no one has been able to resolve the issues. I keep getting the run around between the two and no one seems to know what they’re talking about. This is absolutely horrible service and makes me want to return the vehicle. The last thing Guardian help desk told me was that it’s a software issue for why the SOS would not work. They told me to start and drive the vehicle for 10 minutes and turn it off. And repeat this process 2 more times for a total of 30 minutes and this should reset the SOS and allow it to work. Can you believe this is what Guardian told me to do to fix the problem??? This is crazy! Never heard such a thing. What kind of customer support is this? They should be able to reset or send a signal or something from their end to fix the SOS system or software issue. There should be simple fixes for these vehicle technology issues. They advertise that Uconnect & Guardian is so great but the first time experience that I’m having with it is not, it’s terrible so far. Never had this problem with my previous OnStar service. I hope that FCA or other technical support reads my review and can immediately help resolve my problem please. Thanks, David

Work ok but not great. Most of the stuff works for me like the lock/unlock doors, remote start etc. the one thing I do not like is the map update. It’s usually not accurate at all. It seems to find me ok but as for the car it’s usually several hours behind. I can be at my kids school and if I click on me it says I’m at the school but if I click on my car it says it’s still at home. Also like others have said the vehicle health report (which does not really tell you anything because it’s just either green, yellow or red lights.) is sporadic. You might get it one month but then not the next or it’s never consistent month to month (shows up on different day etc than the month before). People are paying for this app. I am paying for this app but starting to wonder if I should. Not sure why they can’t just dedicate one person to fix this app and make it work like it should.

Joke. I can not believe you have to pay for this service. My first year was free and I called several times with issues with the app liking directly to my Rebel for the vehicle maintainer screen and never fixed. I live in Minnesota and appreciate the remote start and wanted to get it work, but wanted make sure all the features I would have to pay for worked before I bought. Company made me pay for the app before they would help me and answer my questions. So like a fool I bought it and still continued to have the same problem I had when it was free, company has given me a run around for almost 2 months. App will not link maintenance items to my truck and no one can seem figure anythjbg out. Bottom line…this app is an overpriced joke!!! My wife’s Ford app works like a charm all the time. No issues for the last 4 years!!! And best of all it’s free!!!! Mopar, please consider your vendor for these services or this may be the last Ram I buy!! Technology is important in todays vehicles and this an epic fail

Why can’t they make this app work right?. We have used this app for the last 2 years, we have a 2016 Challenger. It has Never worked 100%, very slow to send lock and unlock commands. The vehicle location is hit and miss, it only works when it wants to. I have sent have a dozen emails to the tech dept, they simply ask for more info, I provide that, but it’s still an ongoing problem. I have sent them screenshots, even showing that the car is up to date on the software. The app is even worse now, it’s shows my car as being a Dually, two rear tires on each side. The outer tires show one has pressure and the other 3 are flat. This is not the case. The vehicle health report used to show about a dozen systems checked, that’s down to only 6 now. The health report used to come on the same day every month, now sometimes it doesn’t appear for several months or we get 5 reports in one month. I honestly think they owe us ALL a refund, this is a costly monthly service, but we don’t get what we are paying for. We hate to get rid of it, the remote lock/unlock is the main reason we keep it, it works most of the time, hopefully it won’t let us down when we really need it. Another issue is the gas level never goes above 73% even when the car is full, this used to work fine, not anymore, VERY FRUSTRATED.

Huge disappointment.. I have 2019 Ram 1500 limited with 12 inch screen. Downloaded Uconnect app, subscribed for remote control services and paying $27 per month for geolocation that works once in few days, remote services that won’t send notifications and you can’t determine whether your engine is running or not, the only notification you get shows “Request received” or “request failed”, you can’t see vehicle status like tire monitor or oil live etc. It takes about a minute to start the engine or lock/unlock the doors, like someone previously stated I can get faster to my truck. 2 stars only because customer service is good. Poor girls and guys(I can only imagine how many times they have to listen to people like me complaining about the same issues). I asked if Uconnect is working on updating the app for top model of Ram and they just don’t know. I read some reviews and app developers responses are automatic so I guess we should not expect any progress. At least I’m happy for Jeep owners and all others that can actually use all features that this app provides.

Terrible.. Ram/Chrysler/FCA should be ashamed of this app. I bought a $75k 2021 Ram 1500 Limited and the app for it is not only terrible, but they want me to pay to subscribe to use it. The Ford app is free and 100 times easier to use. The lag on this app is awful. Sending the truck any commands takes several minutes to comply. Here’s the kicker, if you choose the option of the 12” screen in the truck, they completely neuter the app. It has no features other than lock/unlock and start stop. No fuel level check, oil life, tire pressure, mileage, nothing. Can’t locate it to see where it’s parked or track it if it were stolen. Can’t even see if the vehicle is currently locked or unlocked. All features that exist and could easily be done with the hardware and software as is. And since it takes so long to complete an action, you never really know of it happened until you walk out to the truck and find out you have to do whatever you wanted manually anyhow. Once my free trial is over, I’ll delete this app and forget it exists. Why on earth would they punish the people who buy the premium electronics package with the completely bare bones app? Shameful. If the app was halfway decent, it would still be a rip off to have to subscribe, but it’s terrible AND costs money. Garbage, garbage, garbage. The fact that Ram cares so little about technology features is reason enough to shop for a different brand of vehicle when I trade this in.

Glad I am not paying for this service..... Or should I say lack of. Whenever I try to use the remote functions, I get the this could take 30 seconds or longer message. Then after what seems like 2 minutes (I did not time it exactly), it either fails or goes back to the normal remote function screen. It worked once a couple of hours ago. And why does it take so long to send the signal? If this is what I have to look forward to, I will definitely not be paying to continue the service after the year is up. So here is hoping that they get their stuff together and make this a desirable product in the next 11 months. I really wanted to like this feature. Update: I did exactly what the developer in their response asked for (twice for good measure), never heard back. I understand they may be busy trying to fix this disaster but at least acknowledge the receipt of someone’s email that you asked for.

I have used it many times it’s a great thing. Keep up with your maintenance when your spouse doesn’t pay attention to those things tire pressure forget watch side of the mall you parked your car out remind you to get gas lock your dogs inside the car by mistake remote start it from anywhere…Laying in bed at night and can’t remember if you lock the car.. Lock it with the app your key fob may not reach to your driveway but this will reach from two states over lots of benefits.. The only thing that I would say needs improvement is the speed in which the app reacts sometime a lock or unlock command or a vehicle OK takes a long time or returns with no response or failed I don’t know if we need to upgrade the servers or the speed or watt but when it functions fast it’s great

Super Buggy and not worth the money. I’ve had the Sirius Guardian subscription and uConnect app for over a year now and I can’t imagine why it costs $250 a year for the subscription. On the subscription side Sirius has no issue taking your money and refusing to present offers that will save you money. My recommendation is after your trial period ends wait for an email offering you a lower price and present that to an agent rather then letting them “assist” you in finding a deal. On the app side of things, (probably because of the lackluster Sirius side of things) vehicle info rarely updates and location/alarm events are not alerted on the app, but an email instead. Even after going in and restarting my account like the support person suggested this app is buggy at best. Compared to other vehicle apps like Toyota’s or BMW this app is a joke. The lock and unlock feature is a major convince if you’re in a pickle, other than that this app is more of a gimmick than an actual tool in its current state.

Zero stars. This app is an enormous disappointment. When opening on a mobile device, it says unable to connect, try again later. After 30 minutes and several attempts I give up. The “access” button in the vehicle is equally disappointing. I press the access button once. The screen displays unable to connect. I wait a minute and try again, same response, wait again and try a third time. Now the screen says please wait “ loading “. Approximately 5 minutes pass before the screen displays 4 choices. I touch my choice and now wait another 5 minutes for an agent, who by the way knows absolutely nothing about my vehicle nor the onboard equipment or devices. I lost 30 minutes from home on a mobile device and another 15 minutes waiting in the vehicle for an agent. Oh yeah don’t forget the additional 5 minute dialogue with the agent that kept telling me to just go back to the dealer.

Meh.... The old version never gave me problem for my 2015 Dodge Charger. But I’ve had this app less than a year for my 2019 Dodge Charger. And it’s the worst. At times it dont work at all, other times it cancels out, making me having to start the process all over. For what this is gonna cost me, I’m not sure I want it. Wasn’t for insurance purposes, wouldn’t even be an option. Just imagine your arms /hands full. You can’t get to your get fob. You pull off in the taxi go half way cross the country. You go to Uconnect yo lock your doors, and it comes back failed more than once. Yep that has happened to me plenty a times. The life of. Soldier. Smh, great option, but not that great. I really wish this app would do more. Like tell you if your door are not locked after a certain. Or was able to compatible with different devices, such as dash cams. But it’s actually working better now. I changed my rating to 4 from 4 stars.

Not bad, but a few annoyances. I don’t know if it’s necessarily the app’s fault or the network or what, but it doesn’t always start the truck. It’s nice when it is working, especially out here in Phoenix when it’s terribly hot in the middle of summer. Remote start from far away from the truck is very handy for getting the interior air conditioned before getting out to it in a large parking lot. The truly annoying thing about this app is the fact that I cannot paste my password into the app after it forgets the login credentials, either from a restart of the phone or an app update. If you are being careful with your passwords and using a password management app, you are storing unique passwords and pass phrases for every app. I copy mine from 1Password and expect to be able to paste it into an app, but this one disallows that. Ridiculous UX. Fix that and I’ll be much happier to bump up the rating on this app. There’s no security advantage to stopping me from pasting from my password management system. In fact, you may be causing people to use simpler, more dangerous passwords.

All good until your car is stolen. My 2020 dodge Durango was stolen. I reported it to Uconnect, they disabled me from being able to view the vehicle location on my end to track it themselves. They only track for 14 days and then tell you at that point it’s a total loss. They couldn’t get a connection to my vehicle until the 13th day! And even then there is a 30 minute lag time between when they receive the area of the vehicle and they call the police so of course by the time the police gets there the car is gone! On the 14th day I gained access to be able to track it myself and had to call the police stations myself to give them the location at that point because my police report was made 2 weeks prior some of the police didn’t want to assist! I wasted 2 weeks trying to get my car back no thanks to them! If your car is stolen your better off tracking it yourself vs letting them do it they don’t care!! I was even told my tracker was in my engine and if it was started without the key it wouldn’t be trackable which I found later was a complete lie!!

Too Many Ads. When I first got my truck a couple of years ago with this app you would only get one pop-up advertisement saying “new coupons available for your ram 2500“ maybe once a week, but recently it’s gotten much more frequent and now for a week solid I’ve been getting 20+ a day on some days, and yesterday I got 41 in a single day including some coming at night! It’s very annoying to have your iPhone constantly blowing up with these pop-up advertisements from the UConnect app and they all say the exact same thing and I’ve never been interested in any of them and I don’t think anybody’s interested in getting 41 of the same notificationIn a single day. This really needs to be fixed. They need to include an option to opt out of all marketing messages from this app. I’m not interested in and have never been interested in any of those pop-up coupons. I want the app only to tell me about the condition of my vehicle, remote start, etc. and not constantly bombarding me with pop-up pop-up ads on my phone.

NOT A 100%. Igvjhcchjyffcbhuyccvband white one. Must of the time it only works 60% of time. It only starts my truck or unlocks it 60% of the time. Other times it just says failed in the attempt I am trying to do. The other problem that happens everyday is when I go to open the app on my cell phone it does not open. It just a light blue screen that does nothing and I have to restart my cell to get it to work. I know what some of the problem is is that they use sprint for there cell service and once your outside any city there service starts to lose service. I have times when I am just on the beginning of the city were it’s still only in 1x and not 3g. I sometimes wish I would of bought a GMC because they have a much better system that actually works when your not even close to any city. To update I have called them and done everything they ask from installing to reinstalling and nothing has help. I am at the point of canceling not using it because of the price and it not working 50% of time. I have a 2017 Ram Rebel.

Not working correctly iPhone 13 Pro Max. First off I just spent $260 for a year subscription for guardian on my 2018 Ram 2500. First off upon starting the app it states that my device not compatible, is says “ensure the most recent official iOS release is installed on my device”. Second, Face ID doesn’t work, when I check to enable it is states, “please enable Face ID in my phone settings”, they are enabled. Third, because Face ID doesn’t work I have to re-login every time I open the app, this gets really old after awhile. For all the money we have to pay to have these features that RELY on the app you would think it would work properly, very dissatisfied and wished I would have tested the app before I just spent so much money. Please update the APP asap so I can actually use what I paid for! 3/4/22 - With the most recent update version 3.5.7 I am pleased to announce that nothing has changed. All the same issues I was having before.

Not everything works. Some features are not working while others work. My vehicle also thinks service isn’t active when it is. Dealer has called out to Chrysler who isn’t responding to the issues. Update: The problems mysteriously solved themselves without the dealer nor Chrysler acknowledging having done anything. But I will also give credit to Chrysler for reaching out based on this review to look into issue, however it came after the problems corrected themselves. As the app now works properly and the vehicle now says it’s properly activated I’ve updated the review to reflect the change. I wish the app was quicker to respond to remote commands to the vehicle. It’s also a shame you need to pay to get the remote features. Having a remote only plan at a attractive price would probably interest more people in keeping some level of service then requiring the high price monthly plans when most people just probably want/need remote commands.

Almost a year this app hasn’t worked…. TRASH. This app hasn’t worked since the summer of 2021 for me and I’ve called customer support we made a test call in Oct or Nov to make sure my car could be located and it could we remote started it after the call and it worked 2 hrs later it wasn’t working again and hasn’t worked since and I’m tired of calling customer support for it to keep happening and this is t the first time this has happened. I want a refund or fix your app and reimburse me for the time lost paying for a year and it hasn’t worked for more then half of it. It was -20 this morning after work woulda been nice to have this working. As a matter of fact I haven’t gotten a car health report in the app it email for 19 months!!!!!! Fix this app and maybe I’ll re-subscribe until then thanks for a year off nothing.

Terrible service!!!. Terrible service, before they sell you their product you can get through waiting no more than 5 minutes, but after they receive money from you, you will wait for an answer to your call for hours !! Moreover, from January 1, 2022, you need a special adapter because T-mobile no longer distributes 3G, but you will find out after purchasing a subscription, you will have to wait a week !! they didn’t tell me when selling it, they said that everything would work in 30 minutes, although they knew what year my car was !! but after that there is no guarantee that it will work properly !!! I have Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 limited, but even when you find that it does not work on your car, they will deduct money from you for allegedly using their services, on what basis do they want to deduct money from me because the service was not provided for more than one day !! ! Terrible service, employees lie in order to sell the product.

2021 ram 6.7. Works well… couple of things that could be improved. First it’s 25 dollars a month for the service, for that amount of money it needs to be more feature rich… basically for that amount you get vehicle locator, auto start, lock, unlock, sound horn and you can send locations from your phone to the truck if it’s Nav equipped you can also see some vehicle things like air and fuel level…. Some things that should be added… (BTW most of these items come standard on the FORD app if you have a ford truck and it’s completely free for life) so if we are paying this app should have more features than theirs….FCA pay attention …… 1. When you park and lock your truck you should be able to enable the truck to send you notifications if the alarm is tripped or if the truck moves. 2. If you are able to autostart from your phone you should be able to set the climate control temps as well… 3. Need to add more vehicle info … DPF fluid level, miles till empty, fuel filter status.. 4. Sirius XM service should be included … ( I agreed to the 25 bucks because I thought it included XM radio it doesn’t) … that’s redic 5. Maybe set it up so through the app you can get priority service appointments instead of having to wait weeks…. Again most of these things I didn’t think of on my own your competitor already had them and it’s totally free for the life of the vehicle ….

Needs to be fixed/updated. The app over all is nice but 1 super annoying issue that I seem to not be able to find a fix for or hasn’t been updated yet. When I open the app i immediately get a “Device Not Compatible” message. I have an iPhone 14 pro that is updated to the latest iOS and the uconnect app is also updated to the latest version. I have gotten the same message since I’ve had this app for about a year. I can login fine and everything works fine but as soon as I close the app, it logs me out and I get that same message again and then have to log back in. It’s incredibly annoying to have to constantly log back in. Please fix this issue. Also, update the load time of commands. 60 seconds feels like FOREVER.

Good app. I love the app. It is very useful with letting me start vehicle, locking/unlocking doors, and showing info on vehicle. A few things I do think could be better is the fact that you can’t turn on/off or control temps of A/C or heat to either cool down or heat up the interior when remote starting before getting to vehicle. Also, when I send a location to vehicle, it says it has been received, but sometimes it doesn’t never show up in vehicle, and I can send the location at least 10 mins before getting back to vehicle. I end up having to physically input address in system upon entering vehicle most times. And sometimes after a few minutes in the car, the address may then pop up about a new location after I’m already en route. Sometimes it doesn’t come up at all. Overall, very useful app.

Please do better and fix. I was very very much in love with this app due to the fact that i could start my Durango from a far distance. It is especially helpful in the winter time because i can start my truck before clocking out on the cold windy chilly nights and my windows be defrosted by the time i make it outside. Now my truck won’t even start, lock, or unlock from the app. Not to mention i was also provided the work device with my subscription and since I’ve had it it only worked well for the first week or so before it completely just stop working . Despite that this app doesn’t really do all it says it would i am a simple person and was very happy with the ability to use the basic commands but now i can’t even do that. Please fix this or I’ll just find another app of better quality that’ll actually do what it says it does. If fixed I’ll change my rating

Overpriced for the functional options. Overall, it’s not bad. For the price to keep it functional? It’s a little steep. It would be nice to have more functionality for the price. I live in Texas, it’s hot. Sure it starts my car, but it would be nice to have the option to just roll down windows instead of just starting it. Additionally, using it can take up to 2-3 minutes to lock or unlock. By that time I could just go grab my key. This is true whether or not I’m right next to it or 600ft away, WiFi or cellular. Diagnostics are nifty but truly unnecessary. You can get the same through the vehicle menus. Never once in my life did I say, hmmm, I wonder how many miles I have on my car mid workday or lying in bed. I think having it is convenient, but not for the price. Some things it wish it would do: -Roll down windows -Turn on/off vented seats -Turn on/off heated seats -Adjustable air control while it is in autostart -Place a timer on the auto start (to see when it is going to auto turn off) Sometimes you start a little early -Trunk open option -Adjustable alert scale for oil life, tire pressure, etc. All in all, not bad, but could definitely use some work or a reduction in monthly price. Bought it for the first year but am highly unlikely to renew at the current time

App Doesn’t Work Often. Originally I got this app, my credit card expiration date changed and being human I forgot to go in and change it. First, never received an email or anything from UConnect stating my credit card expired, just shut off my subscription completely. Second, I fixed the solution and app was working for a while, then within the last 2 weeks I try to auto start from the app and it’s been in spin cycle for about 3 minutes then says failed. I wouldn’t have an issue if we didn’t have to pay for the app, however, I have family members in my household who have different systems (Chevy Mylink) and they can start their cars from their phone within 2 minutes and never crashes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, there is no updates as of today so not sure what the issue is. Just looking out for my safety and safety of other jeep/dodge/ram drivers who may need it to unlock, lock, locate their vehicle, or automatic start it. Please look into app redesign and bugs

2019 RAM. I purchased a new RAM 1500 Laramie with the 12 inch screen and was really expecting the Uconnect app to include more information like fuel level, tire pressure, mileage, etc. A friend of mine has a 2019 Jeep and DOES have this extra info on his Uconnect app. Neither of us can figure out why he gets this extra info and I don’t! Don’t get me wrong, being able to start my truck from anywhere is very convenient however I totally agree with others that the lag time to start the vehicle is not acceptable. I would really appreciate a response from the developer on why I cannot get this info for my 2019 Ram truck. Are there any SW updates to address this? What is the most current SW version for my 12 inch display? I just read that there will be a new Uconnect 5 coming for newer vehicles. Please don’t tell me that my 2019 Ram is old news and not being supported any longer! I canceled my Uconnect subscription after the free trial because of this! If someone can tell me that there is a fix for my complaint I would subscribe again.

Horrible system. Don’t waste your money. I love my TRX but dealing with the Uconnect subscription process has been horrible. The dealer was as lost as I was and I’ve gotten no satisfaction from the Uconnect people who keep telling me it’s my fault. And the numerous apps required keep getting replaced. I feel like I ended with 8 or 9 apps and none worked. Dodge’s entire electronic system is the worst that I have ever had. Tons of glitches and no one to help. I’ll never buy another Dodge for this reason alone. I wish I could rip it out and use another service altogether. If I could give 0 stars, I would. By the way, my subscription started almost a month ago and the dealer can’t fix the needed upgraded system for another 2 week. So I’m paying for a service that I do not receive. They said that I could apply for a refund by asking the dealer to send unidentified paperwork to Uconnect. I’m sure the dealer will have no idea what I’m talking about. And why should I have to apply for this? What a huge rip off.

Be careful buying this CRAP!!. I bought a Jeep because of the Uconnect system and features. Well today I and all other 2016 Jeep Cherokee owners along with Chrysler 200 owners are left out in the cold. Uconnect decided at the beginning of the year to just give up on these two vehicles and all of its owners for an adapter to run off of 4G. These two vehicles along with many others had 3G in its radio head units that were shut down. They developed an adapter for all other vehicles except these two. So yes remote start, vehicle locating, and all other features are deactivated and they didn’t even bother to tell you until after it was done. No explanation and no notification. Thanks Jeep and Uconnect! You just lost my business. Of all of the vehicles and as much money as you make you can take care of two vehicles in your lineup??? That’s pathetic!!! So much for spending money on that forever warranty to keep this vehicle for a long time. Off to buy something new and I promise you it WON’T be in the Chrysler family.

Uconnect remote start not working. I have a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the dealership helped me set up the Uconnect app.I have owned the vehicle for three weeks and have only been able to remote start it three times. I have had easily 20+ request failed replies while trying to remotely start the vehicle. I have been in contact with three different Uconnect advisers, two different advisers from SiriusXM guardian, and even brought the vehicle back to the dealership to try to get help and nobody there seems to be able to figure out the problem. One advisor even told me it could possibly be an issue with my phone being too old, I find it very hard to believe that that could be the issue as I have an iPhone 11. If anybody knows the way to fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it. The remote lock and unlock works as does the remote horn and lights it is just something with the remote start that is the issue.

No confirmation messages. I think it would be a whole lot better if you got a confirmation message confirming that the remote action was completed, such as if you lock the car after the car locks you should get a message saying car is locked, or if you remote start the car from the app you should get a confirmation message that the car has successfully started and is running, the whole point of this app on the phone is so that you can use the services when the car is not in your view or is far away, it’s just hard to tell whether or not the action was successfully completed without some sort of a confirmation message here in the app, can’t this be added?, I know other remote start apps from other car makers such as Ford do this and I think it’s great

Convenient but can improve.... Very convenient app with some great remote triggers. But, it can be improved with a few advancement of its features. What would be great is if the app would show the actual status of the vehicle when the vehicle info is displayed. What I am referring to is showing real time status of the vehicle running/not running. I have done a remote start and rec’d the notification that the request was received (in app notification), but the vehicle was not actually started. This could be done as an alternative through the remote page by “graying out” the start command button if the vehicle is running, and “graying out” the cancel command button if the vehicle is not running. The same could be done for the doors locked or unlocked. Overall, I am satisfied with the app and love the Sent and Go feature! It can be a bit finicky at times, but is a GREAT feature when it works like it should.

Can’t connect to app or vehicle and won’t update in vehicle. Had my 2016 Jeep Renagade since 2017 and Uconnect hasn’t worked correctly since I got it. My last iPhone would let me log into Uconnect app but said my phone was an unplayable device. I downloaded Uconnect app on my new iPhone and it won’t even let me log into the app and it still says my phone is an unplayable device. My GPS says I’m miles away from where I really am. Hasn’t worked in a really long time. Found out my Uconnect app in my Jeep Renagade wasn’t updating on its own. So I read what to do and the Uconnect website says my vehicle is up to date and won’t let me update it. It says my version is 15????? And the newest version is 18????? I read some reviews about it and people said they had to go to the dealership to get it updated and then get charged over 100$ for something that is wrong with Uconnect. So I’m not paying for it to be updated when it should be done by Uconnect for free and on its own.

Worst app for what it is meant todo. Rob, I really hope you take these comment to the company so they will maybe one day fix them and stop ripping everyone off when you respond to everyone, this app is trash and the RAM app is just as bad. Almost 4 years of it working less then 50% of the time. Why does it take several minutes todo a function on my truck??? Or it just fails all together? I’ve owned ford and GM and their apps are light years above your trash app. Ford let’s you set a time for your truck to remote start. The RAM app is just as bad, my vehicle info hasn’t updated in a full year on that app(yes I’ve left a 1 start review there too) And then when 3g got discontinued, I know have an adapter that anyone can just take out and know you cant track my truck??? Then what I lost my vehicle You use T-Mobile/sprint which is a terrible network to use, maybe that’s why your app is trash and doesn’t respond. No I won’t email you, I’ve call and emailed several times before and everything has got worse. Maybe hire someone from fords app team to redesign your app so it works

App doesn't work. I've had my 2019 Dodge Ram Laramie for 6 months now and this app is unfortunately the biggest disappointment. The location feature has worked maybe once or twice in the time I've owned the vehicle and the remote start just plain doesn't work for me. As a guy who really enjoys tech, I had high hopes for this app, but it just doesn't deliver even at the most basic level. I truly hope they make meaningful changes to provide a better experience for their customers. It has the potential to be truly awesome. After basic features are working, what about a feature that anticipates your daily schedule (just like Apple Maps does) and gives you a prompt to start your car to get the AC or heat rollin about 5 minutes before you usually leave? Or if it's tied in to the gas gauge, a reminder to leave 10 minutes early to get gas when you're low. I know having ideas for app features is way easier than actually implementing them, but I really feel like an app could be a huge service to a car owner.

What happend?. 2017 get my truck new and everything was working fine, nevertheless I was disappointed about the capabilities of the app, you can do a lot more with a regular aftermarket alarm system but ok, I get it , you guys try and I also call you and suggest about been able to access other function like the ac temp, they say we will take that in consideration, thank you for your input and that it, never happens. Now the darn thing after a couples updates and reinstall of the app only works wend it wants to, talk to costumer service and after receiving a lesson about how ilegal is talking on the phone while I drive nothing gets resolve, a technician or specialist suppose to call me but I don’t have the time to spend another hour try to fix a problems I do not cause, seriously thinking about getting my money back, this supposed to be and aided, no a headache. Would be nice if you get your things right and in the process add some good features like the ability to control the AC on the app.

Not as good as old version. The old version of this app worked great with my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee however this new version with my brand new 2019 does not well at all. Remote start works but the vehicle information can go days without being updated and vehicle location only works occasionally and when it does it takes an excessively long time. I’ve already worked with SiriusXM guardian and UConnect to check my account with no success. They said it was a issue with the radio settings and to bring it to the dealer for them to check. Dealer loaded the latest software and checked all settings but it didn’t help at all. Very disappointing to be paying for this technology that doesn’t work. Update Feb 10, 2020: How does this app have 4 stars??? Look at 90% of the recent reviews. Everyone has problems with it. This most recent update does nothing to fix the issues. Stop wasting time adding features no one wants and FIX THE PROBLEMS everyone is complaining about.

Love this app. I love having the Uconnect app! I’ve been using this app for four years and have found it so useful! We can take it to hockey games in the winter and I can start it from in the event center we get into a nice warm car on the way home. It is also great to use when you’re not 100% sure you locked your car and you are in the house or when traveling. The send and go map feature is a fantastic idea, but it doesn’t always send. Hopefully this will get improved. Maybe someday it will have a way to turn on and off the heated and cooled seats on command. Lastly a locate my keys feature would be helpful as well.

Location feature still not working. Despite the updated versions and my communication with the support emails, the location has still not been fixed. I just clicked on the location and it said “out of coverage” and gave me a location from 30 minutes ago. When is this ever going to be fixed? I have been trying to get a location since last night and it finally gave me one this morning that was not even real time. Still disappointed. Again, why am I paying all this money and I can’t even track my car but I can track my pizza in real time? SMH Also had an oil change recently and the app is still showing a yellow caution advising that I need an oil change. Why is it not updating?

Uconnect and this app are a RIP-OFF. Why can this app not work properly? Why is it basically never updated. I have not received a vehicle health report in 7 months. Granted if there is a problem the dash will show a warning light but the $170 I paid to renew after my free trial I want all the features that I am entitled to. The app never works. Countless emails and phone calls and yes I even took it to a FCA Jeep dealership and was told everything on my vehicle is working and that the problem is on Uconnect’s end. Uconnect will not do anything to upgrade or correct the issue or admit there is a “PROBLEM” on their end. Just look at all the other reviews. Same issues as I described. Bottom line is save your money, all this is is a “money pit”. I call Uconnect and all I get is danced around and circle talk and a decision tree analysis by someone who really could care less and then says “I can make you an appointment at a dealership for you. Well I can do that too and I did! No Problems Found. Excuse me but the issue is on your end UConnect! Your Research and Development Department and IT Department isn’t doing their job. This app is a total scam it does not wok properly, is never updated and a rip off. Do yourself a favor and don’t do what I did and waste $170 on this piece of garbage system and app. Never again. Total junk and like I previously said a rip off.....

Not so good. Got a 2021 Dodge Charger and thought the app was a great addition. After having it for 6 months I realized I don’t use it at all. Reasons being are it takes over 2 minutes or more for the car to get any signal from the app to unlock, lock, or start. It really doesn’t matter what type of signal my phone has either I can be on 5G full bars or the best wifi network available and it’s still slow. One thing I was really looking forward to using besides the remote features was the ability to get diagnostic information on the app. It worked once when I first setup the app and now will not update no matter what I do and I have done a bunch of troubleshooting to try and get that to work. I have a KIA and their app is simple. Start the app go into the infotainment system setting and click diagnostics and it sends it to the phone. This app should be just as simple. I really wanted to like this app/feature not a deal breaker since I love my car but definitely not going to pay to continue using this.

Trash. Devs should retire to a garbage pickup job to make up for the trash they keep putting out. You have to be embarrassed and have to realize how bad this is for people to use. Please keep your response to yourself and just cancel the app and never program anything again. The world shouldn’t have to deal with this type of product that we pay money for…and you’re going to say I have a trial that expires that I have to pay for Thai afterwards lolololol. This is the worst most pathetic attempt at anything and if I was this bad at my job I’d quit and never go back. Stop doing this and just pay someone good from another company. Hide your pride for your customers and ask for help. I’m embarrassed to have this product and you should be embarrassed to have this job. Just so everyone understands, this is the rant of a person who paid a lot for their car to have the experience ruined and destroyed by garbage product and effort.

One of the best vehicle apps. Seriously.. I can not stress enough how amazing this app is. Let me explain. I recently leased my first Jeep, it’s my first Mopar since 2013. Before this I had a Mercedes and let me tell you. Their app for their cars is horrible. So horrible, so unresponsive, slow and unreliable. The reviews on the app prove it. I hated using it and you’d think from a company like that you’d get the best app experience. Now to today with UConnect, I now see the best car app is from FCA. This app is fast, reliable, easy to use and I have yet to run into a single issue since getting my new Jeep in September. I can finally use the mobile remote start feature with no issue thanks to FCA. I am one very happy customer, Thanks FCA! Keep up the great work.

Great. First vehicle to have an app for — 2021 Durango.. the app constantly gives me notifications that my fuel levels is less than an eighth when it’s FULL-full.. usually between full & halfway it sends me this notification. And I see the urgency of knowing this but it’s back to back notifications as the vehicle sits there.. with three-quarter tank full. Also, auto start doesn’t always work. Alaska is cold I understand the precautions of cold weather.. but a month ago I started noticing that it would say “received” but I get into my car and it never started. I appreciate the convenience, but I take the time to plug in my vehicle at night and keep the fuel level neural, get oil changes, but it seems a bit wanky. I recommend the application to others but I would appreciate knowing the remote start wasn’t received if it’s not.. an error notification would be greatly appreciated when it’s not actually received 😕 I used to rely on myself to start my car, then auto start from a key fob… seeing the lights turn on.. seems like now I am not trusting it more than walking outside in -15° to start it myself. This application has great potential but it needs more communication with the user. Thank you!!

Switching wireless service - loss of apps. I’m not impressed with the switching of wireless services that affect the Uconnect systems with my dodge ram truck. The loss of the applications that existed with the previous service, I hope was of value to you economically as a corporation. But for me it makes me want to seriously consider NOT purchasing another Dodge with or run with Uconnect system. You had OnStar beat. Now you have lost your advantage. Your technician that helped me today was excellent and understanding of my frustration. Your warning about the loss of service with the switch Did not spell out what services we’re going to be deleted with this switch of carriers. It said if we didn’t switch we were going to lose functionality, not what some us considered essential and worthy of inclusion of services we once enjoyed. 2017 Dodge Big Horn.

Why can’t you fix this app??. By far the worst app I have tried to use. This app hasn’t worked for the past 3 YEARS! After numerous calls to the support staff no one has been able to resolve the issue if “Unknown Error”. My latest attempt at resolution was when I renewed my subscription to Guardian package for 6 months. I have deleted and re-downloaded this app more times than I can count. Still nothing except “Unknown Error - unable to connect at this time. Try again later”. Of all the apps out there that WORK and you can’t figure this one out.... seems like you need a new IT department and start over. I will not be renewing guardian when this promo deal is over. No sense in wasting my time and money.

Brand new to Jeep and Uconnect. Well my vehicle is 36 hrs old and my uconnect does not work completely yet. The car says it’s still activating, my iPad won’t log in and my phone features work like my wipers, intermittently. I truly want to love this app because the truck is awesome but this is getting very frustrating and is having a negative effect on my new to the family experience. After reading so many reviews that resonate with mine, I hope that these issues can easily be resolved. It’s a bad showing for Jeep who is in the car/ truck business to have customers loose faith due to simple technology fixes. What can we do as a consumer to help fcv get uconnect to meet it’s potential and keep people interested in jeeps? Jeep is doing their part, now it’s up to fcv and uconnect. I will look forward to hearing from someone who can solve my issues and not have me follow up with an email quagmire. Please bring back my joy and excitement of becoming a new Jeep owner and never settle on acceptance of customers dissatisfaction as the norm. Please fix this once and for all. Thanks for your thoughts and consideration… I know you can do it. **Update: So everything is working suddenly. So very happy. My first rating was 2 starts and now it’s 5. Great job to whoever was reading my review and fixed my issues. Thanks for fixing. The only issue is with my iPad but this is a minor issue that I’m sure will be remedied over time.

Horrible Experience. I love my new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee 80th Anniversary Edition, but I hate this app. The remote start is a joke, and only works (when it finally decides to) after I cycle through multiple times. I basically have to unlock, lock, remote start (fail), remote start (fail), unlock, lock, remote start (fail), remote start (fail), remote start (success...maybe...if I’m lucky...you get the picture)! Totally ridiculous and since the app is so freaking slow the entire sequence takes like 5 minutes or more. And it doesn’t start from anywhere as I’m currently in Mexico, on strong wi-fi, and it won’t work at all. Totally unacceptable considering the price of the vehicle and the electronics and software talent up at FCA. My wife has a less expensive 2020 Subaru Outback, and has the MySubaru app. It cost significantly less than UConnect ($79 one time charge for the 3 year lease) and works flawlessly. I think it a year it has not failed to start the car once on the first try, and under 10 seconds. I started it just a few minutes ago from Mexico to warm it up and it worked like a charm. And she can also adjust her heat, AC, seats, airflow, steering wheel, and many more functions on the vehicle just by using her app. It’s embarrassingly good compared to the UConnect app. FCA needs to jump on this immediately and address before it becomes a larger customer dissatisfaction issue.

Trailing the competition. It seems Ridiculous to complain about an app that lets you start your vehicle, lock and unlock the doors from your cell phone! The reality of it is, however, that the system ram use his lags pretty far behind its competitors. I have the app for my Ford and Chevrolet and they are both substantially faster and show real time vehicle status. I can almost always walk out to my car and start it faster than it would take the Uconnect app. My other vehicles start within 3 seconds of starting via app. Even the new Hyundai app is substantially more advanced and offers more features. It seems like this is an area that could really improve the ownership experience without substantial development costs. People will continue to expect a better car/device experience. I hope Uconnect will continue to develop and it won’t just get dumped for something else leaving existing owners stuck with old tech.

Not good. Ford pass better and free.. Just all around not good. Ford pass much better. Commands take way too long to receive or it fails. GPS won’t update while moving and even once it’s parked it takes forever to receive command to update. If your cars off it won’t update until you turn it back on and few minutes after you shut it off. Right before your trial is about to expire or membership is going to expire, expect a daily call from them for about 2 weeks trying to convince you to purchase. Monthly health reports aren’t monthly. It’s random. Went a few months without one. Then any update the stereo needs has to be done at the dealer. The ford connects to your home wifi and updates the unit on its own. They also say Alexa can use these features, that’s a lie. Alexa app never connects and commands fail. There’s nothing good to say about this app and features. Love the car. Hate the guardian Uconnect. After purchasing a 45k grand Cherokee they still want you to pay over $360 for these super slow or non working features. I’m not sure where these positive ratings are coming from Because any real owner who uses this app and car daily knows it isn’t worth the money and time.

Not working every time. The remote start and location update are not working every time I try to use it. Failed attempts are much higher than successful ones. It is really frustrating. I don’t know what is wrong with that application. I hope it can be upgraded in order to fix these problems.

Uconnect doesn’t work on Apple Watch. I cannot add the app to my Apple Watch! Why?!

Needs updating. Convenient tool. Lacking a lot of up to date features as per other brands. Very slow communication with vehicle. Also a lot of options not available in Canada where there are a lot of these vehicles are sold.

Needs work. Picture of the truck provided is missing half its body. Should tell you if the vehicle actually started with command start.

Decent but... This service is decent, however it’s extremely overpriced. They’d probably have way more subscribers if they offered a reasonable fee. I can live without it.

C’est le pire démarreur. C’est le pire démarreur que j’ai eu

App is good but , too expensive. App

Decent handy app but needs updates. The picture of my jeep is all messed up on the app it looks like a scrap yard removed half the parts. Like very unprofessional looking for 20-40$ a month…

Needs some updating!. Not very helpful! The location doesn’t work. Sometimes the remote buttons don’t work. This app needs a serious overhaul! I can’t use a lot of functions because of a “connectivity issue” that is not on my end and has been happening for months now.

Dosent always updstecl. The app is nice but dosent always up your fuel 3/4 of the time please fix it’s need an update so it can regular update your fuel info and it should say how many km per tank not percentages

Not worth it. This app rather expensive for features that ford offers for free

Fails about half the time. Can’t figure out why it fails. Mostly on coldest days. Have had request received and request failed messages, but in both cases it was not started. Why can’t they send and receive a signal to let you know it is running. The app can tell me my tires are low, but not that it is running or not.

Needs work. The service is very slow when trying to unlock and remote start my truck. The app can never find my vehicles information or location as well

Useful. Good app. However it needs to be more quick in response. Lock & unlock will take more than 45 sec.

Needs lots of work.. App needs to be update, poor set up, poor pay out. Needs big improvement.

Terrible app, next vehicle will not be FCA.... No option to delete my last vehicle from the app. Had to make several calls and spent some time on hold before speaking with anyone. New vehicle info won’t load up. Takes nearly a minute for remote functions to work (when they work...). For a relatively simple app to be this crappy and poorly managed is quite disappointing. I wouldn’t pay $1 per month for this garbage.

Best thing since…. Love the app!! No need to carry my keys with me all of the time!!!!

2500 Ram diesel truck. This feature is a little expensive, Although for the right job, person and location/situation it would be worth having for some... thanks

Does not work for starting 2020 Rebel. This app is garbage and has never worked for remote start.

Doesn’t work. We went on vacation, got back and it doesn’t work.

Report. Not getting my health report. I have called about it and still not fixed

Don’t advertise features unless they work. I downloaded this app excited to use the Watch complication to start my Ram quickly from my wrist. Upon downloading the app not only did the Watch complication not work, it didn’t even show up. Please enable the complication, or even better give us granular control to start/lock/unlock from the watch face.

Totally Garbage. Ford apps are better

Save by an Angel. After work realized I don’t have my remote in my bag and the temperature outside was -32 celsius and I’m in panic attack, then my guardian Angel whisper in my ears that I have Uconnect. Of course I start my Compass Jeep and there’s my remote waiting for me.

Terrible and ages behind competition. IF your vehicle actually receives the signal/command sent. You can expect to wait 3-5 minutes. But that’s only if it goes through. Most of the time it doesn’t.

Great app but expensive. Great app but it’s expensive. I subscribe to OnStar for my car instead. Safety features cover you in any vehicle with the options of adding more members to your plan. I’d pay for this if it were reasonably priced.

Be nice if it worked. It’s great and handy my girlfriend always forgets her keys in the truck but it would be nice if it worked faster when you want to unlock or lock and even start the vehicle most of the time it takes 1-2 minutes before it does anything. I get it but if I am paying 13$ a month for something that’s half fast

Guardian Review. I’m paying for a service I cannot access. Shows prescription expired but yet they have not missed taking a payment. When attempting options when it was working poor quality. Expensive disappointment!

Ok. Really nice to have in the winter yet. I do find quite a few times I will try to use it and it doesn’t actually turn my car on.

Expensive. For the same product on my Toyota it cost $10 cdn. On my Ram 3500 it’s almost double.

Jeep Wrangler. Love my phone remote feature

SUV. No call back to let me know the vehicle is running. Because there is a cost I fell there should be a way to tell if my vehicle has started. If I am starting the vehicle from work or from another province.

Command start. Being able command start from mikes away is great

Latest version crashes on IPhone 12 Pro. Downloaded latest version and now the app on my iPhone 12 Pro crashes every time you launch the app

Vehicle info will not update. The app stopped updating my vehicle info. I’ve tried updating and reinstalling the app, but that doesn’t fix the issue. It is disappointing because the app and service is expensive. I expect better.

No go. Been a pain. In my Mercedes this took 20 to set up but for Chrysler I had to do the ASSIST button to get a live agent. Then he asked me to FAX HIM, no joke, FAX HIM THE bill of sale that has my name and then VIN to he can set it up. Been 4 days and still nothing. So cumbersome. Why can’t there be an online version you can do yourself!

Working. Some time its not working properly

Lenteur. Trop lent avant d’avoir les informations

Worst remote app ever. Useless

Remote does not work. Since I’ve had this, the remote on the app hasn’t worked. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, and still nothing. Called support, and they said that everything was working on their end….. not happy

It’s CRAP. This is absolutely the worst app. It doesn’t do what it says it does, and costs a fortune to have! Other than unlocking/locking my doors, it is virtually useless. The reason I bought it was to keep an eye on my jeeps health. It hasn’t updated in over 2 months now, and there’s no way to reset it. I want my money back!!

Uconnect Slow. It’s slow and at times does not connect. Other vehicles other than Jeep like GMC have no delay at all.

Needs improvement.. -Seems to function intermittently. -takes too long to deliver feedback that vehicle has started. -No longer has the avitar of a truck in the app which is weird. -cost is high. Only want the vehicle start option. Shouldn’t be this expensive.

Needs some UI Cleaning. The layout has lots of good information and is easy to use but the top of the screen text is cut off on my iPhone 14 Pro Max so it seems it’s not formatted correctly for this screen and the colour of my vehicle in the photo is wrong and can’t be changed. The colour scheme looks juvenile and not sleek and polished like the branded apps which don’t have the good info this one does. UX is great, UI needs help.

App sucks. This is my 3rd Ram 1500 in the past 3 years and the remote functions never work. I’ve tried phoning numerous times and they always tell me everything is good and it should work. It doesn’t!!

No Run Time. Why doesn’t this app show run time, you don’t even know if your vehicle has started. Very limited app

Only works half the time. Only works half the time. So annoying when you think your Jeep is started only to go out in the cold and it’s not. App needs a lot of work and for $30 a month you would think they could fix the issues. Update still no fix to the app. Only works sometimes.

Device notifications. Why cant i change device notifications in the app? Keeps failing Hello hello hello. Do you ever respond to users? Update this app ASAP and make it stand-alone no need for a paid subscription!!!!! If you read the reviews HOW CAN THIS POSSIBLY GET A 4.3 OUT OF 5? When will this app be updated to actually work?

Not accurate with Pacifica Hybrid. Lots of times when you try and update, you don’t get the right information. Today it says I have a range of 254 km electric and 230 km has. Clearly the electric estimate is wrong.

I’m 54 years old I’ve spoken to multiple customer service people. UCONNECT WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THIS HUGE PLANET WAY TO GO. If you can’t have good service go 4 the worst that you won

Terrible customer service. As a sales person for Chrysler and an owner of 2 Chrysler products I can say I am deeply disappointed and disgusted in the customer service from Chrysler through unconnect. Somehow managed to lock my keys in my 2019 ram 1500 while trying to get my kid out the door to daycare and then myself to work. Called Uconnenect only to be told that because I do not pay for the subscription I could not unlock it. I even offered to sign up for the subscription and was told it wouldn’t work right away and that my best bet was to wait for roadside assistance. All I can say is I am glad my kid was still in the house and not locked in the cold truck because Uconnect was not willing to help me in any way shape or form. Absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated and thank god it was not a dangerous situation for my child.

No active subs option. My app says I have no active subscription yet I’m able to access Uconnect features through my web browser on my phone. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here. Had the Jeep for 24 hours and still can’t use the app. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Logging out and back in nothing works. Frustrated. After contacting the agent via my assist button in my Jeep they were able to resend my account information after I logged out for 30min. App works perfectly now. Not sure how to get a vehicle health report yet but all other functions seem to be working.

No customer service: app stopped working. Totally unacceptable. I’ve reached out to customer service by phone & email repeatedly with no success. I’ve gone through social media. I’ve brought my hero to the dealer & yet no one could figure out why the app is not working. This is subpar service for a poor app/selling feature. It’s not a good look. The dealer referred me to the app and the people at Uconnect referred me back to the dealer?!! Is this a sick joke. I don’t want the app or the vehicle anymore after being treated like a fool. Nice work !! This app hasn’t worked in months. Can’t locate , do anything remote or see vehicle info.. nothing. The dead beat app just wasting Space on my phone. Thanks.. appreciate all the frustration & time wasted.

Very Disappointed - Does NOT work!. After being an OnStar user and having GM vehicles for the last 6 years, I was really excited to find out that Jeep had a similar app feature with U Connect. I used to use the remote start, lock/unlock features in OnStar on a daily basis. Don’t be fooled people, the U Connect app is about as useless as it could possibly get. It literally does not work - ever. Out of the couple dozen times I’ve tried in the last 3 weeks to get my car to start or lock/unlock remotely, it’s worked maybe 1 time. It’s so unbelievably frustrating and I’m so disappointed in this app. People with GM and Ford vehicles are having absolutely no problem with their apps providing them the luxury of remote access to their vehicles - why can’t U Connect developers figure this out? I feel like I’ve gone back in time.

Can’t even use it.... I'm having trouble doing something with my 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that I bought used the other day. I can't figure out how to get it connected to my Jeep. As far as I've seen, there's 2 ways to get it "registered," one option is to press the "assist" button on the rear view mirror and a customer service rep will help you. But I don't have an assist button on my rear view mirror.... the other option is to do it through the uconnect system by pressing the "APPS" button and then selecting "Uconnect registration." But I don't see that option either... the Uconnect app says it's compatible with the 2017 model and the Trailhawk is one of the top trims so I don't see why it wouldn't be supported. This is one of the features I was looking forward to using the most so it's pretty disappointing if I can't. Can someone help me??

Ok, needs work. Judging the apps alone (not the 8 calls it took to initiate service) the app is just ok. I have the security package and it shows me my last recorded gas level, mileage, and tire pressure. It doesn’t seem to be much good for anything else. The market places section has a separate login which never stays logged in so I was always inputting double passwords - until I stopped using it. Also, the Apple Watch complication doesn’t recognize my subscription at all and doesn’t appear it would work unless my phone is nearby (I have a S6 with cell service). As I move more things to my watch to avoid carrying my phone it’s odd how clunky this is compared to most other apps.

Way to much work to activate. I have had my truck for 5 days now, have sent two faxes and called in 4 times and still do not have service. I am getting extremely frustrated as most of the features that I was excited to get with the truck are not working. Every time I call I just get that the truck is has an active account already and we need you to send a bill of sale. I did, got a fax confirmation, however they claim they don’t have it on the other end. I am a small business owner and have already wasted too much of my time on this. You guys need serious Improvements to your registration processes. I will certainly not pay anything extra for your service when I’ve had to waste so much of my time and it’s still not working. Relying on only a fax machine to send in documents in 2020 is a joke. I guess I should have got a different truck.......

Limited functionality. The app is a great concept. The ability to lock my vehicle from my phone from anywhere intrigued me. I frequently forget if I have locked my vehicle and being able to tap a lock button to give me peace of mind seemed like a great feature. This peace of mind is only as secure as the reliability of the app. I have found that the features offered on the app are very unreliable. I have attempted to lock my vehicle using the app on multiple occasions only to receive an error leaving me unsure if my vehicle is secure. I have never been able to access the vehicle info from the app. I have attempted for months with no success. Hopefully these issues are unique to me but I would not place the security of your vehicle in this unreliable app.

Won’t update vehicle info🤬. My vehicle info hasn’t updated in 4 days I called customer support and I uninstalled the app reinstalled it and logged out and logged back in again and nothing. There isn’t even a place to refresh the vehicle info. The remote part works fine it’s just the vehicle info and sometimes the vehicle locator that does not work. Please fix this bug cause it is an option I plan on using for the whole term of my purchase beyond the free year they give you. ***************Update************** For the past week now the app has been working correctly and updating every 24-26 hrs. So thank you for whatever update or patch that was done. Great app

Would give zero stars but not an option. Used app to remote start my car and it locked it also when it did. My purse with keys were in it and then the app would not unlock the car. I was stranded and over 2 hours late to work. I finally shut my phone off and turned it back on and I guess that’s what finally triggered it to register that my keys were in the car so it auto unlocked because this junk app never did unlock it! Called for help and that was worthless too said nothing he could do but transfer to roadside assistance which never did even act like they were starting to send someone. Glad I finally got it myself. Delete this app if you have it! It’s worthless!!!

Needs morning start. Can’t give it a 5 star, simply because of the potential it has to be a good app. Raptors include morning start which allows you to set a time in the morning to start warming up, no need to wait for 5-10m to start up. Other than that, it’s a very helpful app! Can start my truck miles away. One thing that happened that made me appreciate it more was when I was at the store and took my other vehicle, took my keys to my truck, and a friend needed to come get something, turned on the app, hit unlock, and tada! He was impressed with it as well!

Not happy. Can’t see vehicle info in the app. I have the 12” screen in a Ram 1500. Can’t get vehicle history reports in the app can’t use valet settings cant set up geofence boundaries or curfew or speed notifications in this useless app. All I can do with this app is the same thing my keyfob can do, oh and locate my vehicle, but that’s the only extra feature. My app and operating system is fully up to date. The reason it’s not fully working isn’t due to something on my end. Please fix this, the third icon (which should be on the bottom farthest left) in the bottom banner, isn’t showing up. This app should do and I’m sure people are expecting it to do much more. Such as show status of the vehicle if it is locked or unlocked. Please fix it soon, otherwise it’s not worth paying a subscription for really is it.

Uconnect is now useless on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I am writing this review out of my disappointment that UConnect has become useless on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee. I bought this new in 2016 and unbeknownst to me without even sending me a notice that they have abandoned the upgrading of the system to a 5G from 3G. This is not a cheap SUV at least when I bought it new. Ditching the upgrade with an USB is unconscionable to us who still own the 2016 model. Six year old vehicle is not old to me! If this is a bait to exchange it to another newer model, you’re wrong! I’d buy a different brand! Jeep and Chrysler, had I known you’ll be doing this years later , and not be included in the upgrade, I should have bought from another manufacturer, not Jeep!

Worst app ever!. Always having problems with this app not connecting for remote commands. Not updated or accurate vehicle health data. The latest issue is location services on app! You open app and bounces back an forth between pages remote operations page finally loads and then you tap location services at the bottom of the page, the app just crashes and shuts down! Weeks ago, SiriusXM because that’s who handles the app says we are aware of issues and is anything fixed NO! And FCA doesn’t stand behind anything, I email them thanks but you need to contact SiriusXM, it’s your friggin car! If I am this frustrated with a trial I can’t imagine how angry I would be if trial was over and paying hundreds of $$$ a year for a completely useless app!!!

Consistently… poor. Despite assurances that the UConnect App would be fixed to provide Vehicle Information ( mileage, oil, gas level) for the RAM 1500 with 12 inch screen… 3+ years have passed and it seems “engineers are still working on it?” I thought I may re-subscribe to my service this year in hope things had improved / fixed. After being transferred at least 5 times to different “customer service specialists” who could “help,” no one was able to provide information on whether this feature was fixed and available for my RAM model. Clearly some consistency with this program over the years continues to be incompetent (though at least polite) customer service and poor, lagging technology with connected service. Dr -Not motivated to jump back in.

Several issues since using the 4G adapter. I have almost the exact set of issues and complaints as Neepers reported earlier. The app used to work great seemingly until we had to start using the 4G adapter. Now the current location of the vehicle is “old”, the stats like tire pressure and other stuff is wrong and now I notice that the send n go feature no longer works. A developer responded that there will be a new release upcoming to correct an issue with the location map, we’ll see if it also fixes the current location “lag” as well as the send n go feature. Something else I notice is that I periodically get an email from Uconnect indicating that I have a problem with my engine, but there are never any warning lights in the vehicle. FCA really doesn’t seem serious about supporting this Uconnect service.

Not worth the download. This app is as useless as the Uconnect itself! First of all it’s suppose to be driver friendly so you don’t take your eyes off the road...okay but if you want your gps on your phone has to be connected to the car, it randomly disconnects your phone but...it says it’s still connected.... Second if you open an app it’ll randomly kick off the radio and take you to audio..so if someone is charging their phone and they open snapchat, Pokémon go, Facebook, google chrome, it’ll instantly and non stop kick you off the radio. BUT! There is a way to fix this issue..and by fix I mean you gotta go into your PHONES settings and not the app..you have to completely turn off your phone connecting which takes away the the whole (driver friendly) option! And when you complain about it...have you updated? Yes...have you reset it..? Yes....... okay doesn’t seem to be an issue even though there is tons of forms complaining about this crap service. The fact any vehicle still uses them is amazing. My favorite is oh you wanna unlock your car? Okay pay $100+ a year on your brand new vehicle to unlock with your phone..Chevy had it for free year round, from what I’ve read so does Ford. I love my car but if dodge would fix anything I’d say this

UConnect are Thieves!. UConnect promises to make it work with software update and if the software doesn’t work, they say you need to buy a new radio! If you are unable to update the software yourself, they tell you to go the the dealership and they will take care of it for free. When the dealership tells you to pay for it, out of pocket, UConnect personnel tell you they will reimburse you. When your software is all up to date ($387 later), UConnect goes back on their word and tells you they will NOT reimburse you. They are real good at swindling you out of you money. It Is, apparently, their policy, to string people along and make empty promises to persuade people to spend their own money for the benefit of UConnect. Why would You EVER do business with this company!!

App not working. Just purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee and we downloaded the app it does not work even how many times we call them!! They tell us to take it back to the dealership!! And to top it off we only get it free for one year then we have to pay well for as much money you have to pay for the vehicle that should be included free all the time you have it!!! GMC never charged us for it the 3 years we had the vehicle!! We should get the app free too!!! It’s just a disappointment finding out after we purchased the vehicle about this feature it’s wrong it should be free all the time!! We used our gmc app all the time!! Just a big disappointment to learn this on top of it not working right to turn on our Jeep because I really love my Jeep!!

Live app. Love the app, just wish whatever the vehicle is doing that the picture of your vehicle in the app would do the same thing! Like when you do remote start from the app and when the vehicle receives the request and flashes the lights that it does the same in the app, or when you open the back, the vehicle in the app turns around and shows the back open! Idk just think it would be cool, even though there is lag in the request at times! Also it would be cool if the app shows the temperature outside!

Subpar at best. I just left a Ford vehicle to come to my Dodge. Ford has their own app while Dodge uses this Uconnect app. When I push the button to lock my vehicle the message is “request received.” It doesn’t tell me that it actually locked it, but just that the system received the request. This is simple UX type work fellows, nothing really difficult about giving the user a confirmation message so we know it’s locked. The lag time between holding the button to getting the above message is definitely slower than the previous app I used as well. If Dodge is going to use this app, more vehicle information should be at the users finger tips to avoid using multiple apps. The user experience is lacking and not just a little...

Only empty promises. This app offers a lot of cool and useful features but none of them work. During my trial, some of the services worked for about a month and others only periodically. The best feature, vehicle finder, doesn’t work unless I am actually in the vehicle and the engine is running. Remote start doesn’t show up in the app even though I have remote start. Other Remote features dont work either. Send to vehicle directions only works occasionally. The promise of these features are some of the reasons why I purchased the car. But now I am so disappointed I just want a refund for the new car and will probably never buy another mopar product. I have reported these issues to uconnect and they were not helpful.

Bugs galore- frustrating. As a person that has used The Ford app, Lincoln and Tesla this lags seriously behind. It randomly and of course at the wrong time dumps credentials- lags or won’t connect- poor feedback. Press remote start and definitely don’t sleep your phone because you will arrive to a cold non running vehicle. Keep the app alive and repeat the start button 2-3 times to start but not rapidly. Wait 1-2 minutes in between clicks. Wondering where you parked your car and hoping for location? May as well wait for other cars to leave the lot. Don’t count on this app for location- you may get the location from yesterday. As an app developer my guess is that the communication between the vehicle and servers is poor trying to minimize data and cell time prioritized over functionality. When the free goes away will definitely NOT pay for this.

Uconnect & ATT 4g WiFi Hotspot Don’t Work!. I purchased a 2019 Jeep Renegade TrailHawk this past Memorial Day. On Friday June 4th, I purchased Sirius XM Guardian - the Remote package and 4g WiFi hotspot from AT&T. NEITHER WORK! The Uconnect app does not do anything at all. Instead of locking, unlocking, starting, flashing the lights or sounding the horn it shows “request in progress - may take 30 seconds.” After 5 minutes pass the app shows a message request received but the vehicle has done nothing. USELESS! I see the 4g WiFi hot spot signal on my dashboard and the network is listed on both devices (my iPad 8 and iPhone 12) but when I put in the password to connect - both devices state unable to join network. Also when setting up 4g WiFi hotspot with an AT&T representative on the phone, she informed me that the hotspot will not connect unless I turn off the vehicle’s Bluetooth. Is that even possible? Because if it’s not possible to turn off the vehicles Bluetooth, consumers should be notified that Jeep Renegades are not compatible with AT&T 4g WiFi hotspot. I am very dissatisfied!

Just a remote starter. Does not update vehicle status, does not show status other carmakers do. My biggest gripe isn’t that it doesn’t update the status of my vehicle for 20 plus hours (who knows why you would show fuel level from 20 hours ago)…my biggest gripe is the app does not show the status of you vehicle other than the fuel and tire pressure. did I lock my doors 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s raining, is my sun room still open 🤷🏻‍♂️ it seems trivial to some but like blind spot monitors, once you have a feature it’s hard to live without (other car is a 2022 VW, the app is amazing). and if you don’t think these are feature customers want, at least make your app update their vehicles status when the refresh.

Terrrible app. Where to start? First off slow. Second, very unreliable. Third, always getting pop up’s to sign up for the Mopar app which is completely useless as well. Bought an after market alarm for our RV and it works faster, more user friendly , and with millions of more stats and option settings. You should feel ashamed of yourself for designing such garbage. Very disappointed in paying 60k for a car that’s has such weak features in the App. So sad. Let’s add when I want to find my car on the map 80% of the time it won’t even load. Maybe next time ask someone who is intelligent to test your app and give you an honest opinion of how bad it is before you release it?

Zero stars needs to be an option.. Since my last review was deleted we'll do this again. This app works about 30% of the time. Standing next to my car with full cellular signal this app starts my car about 30% of the time. Start times can be up to 3 to 4 minutes when it does work. The app doesn't remember preferences so you need to put your pin number in up to three times to perform any functions. The price of the service is ridiculous too, apps like drone cost a third as much, work within seconds of activation, have actual customer support, and the applications actually remember preference. It also appears Chrysler is deleting reviews to inflate the score. After a year with this app, I can't imagine anyone rating this better than the minimum rating.

Why does this have 4.5 stars???. Worst app I have. AT BEST, it starts your vehicle 50% of the time and it doesn’t tell you when it doesn’t turn your vehicle on. This has been terrible since the old app went away. Why have all the bugs not been worked out? I understand you have added another “touch point” on your communication channel in order to reach out to the vehicle and that is why it can take up to 5 minutes to remote start but there is no excuse for it never starting. The app also doesn’t show each time a failed start happens in the top right icon. Which I am guessing helps your internal numbers to show fewer missed activations to use for Marketing/Sales but c’mon, you have had more than enough time to fix these issues. Can you tell me what your timeline is to fix the failed communication issue at least?

Just ok. Feels pretty “basic”. Bought a 2021 Wrangler with the 8.4’ UConnect screen and got a year of this apps functionality included. The Pros: It will (eventually) start your car, lock or unlock your doors, or honk the horn and flash the lights (vehicle finder). I say eventually because it takes on average about 39-45sec to do so. Granted it’s gotta travel from the app to the server to the satellite to your vehicle so I guess that’s actually pretty good. It’ll give a basic rundown of your vehicles health, fuel level, etc. The Cons: It’s not cheap. We renewed the service as my wife like to start the car from her phone and it’s $130 for a year. So for a little over $10/mo we get this futuristic function. I’m honestly on the fence as to if it’s worth the extra cost.

NOT THE SAME!!!. I don’t know what happened between July and now. But the app was working just fine. Was able to locate my vehicle with no problem and unlock doors and remote start. Recently, I’ve been trying to remote start my vehicle and I get a notification stating my vehicle has been inactive for some time and it may take a while to start. Well, it never started. I’ve decided to check to see if I missed an app update... it appears I did. So I updated the app. Not I get failure after failure alerts whenever I try to use the unlock, lock, horns/lights, and remote start feature. I don’t know what happened, but this needs to be fixed. There’s no reason I have to pay so much money just to look at an app that I can not use. Luckily there’s only a few weeks left on my plan. I most certainly will NOT be renewing if this isn’t fixed by then.

Waste of money. The features of this app sound amazing, but that is all because nothing actually works. If you want to do anything remotely, expect it to take AT LEAST 5 minutes to process... IF it even decides to process. Locate your vehicle? Yeah, I can see where my vehicle was 24 hours ago but it does not show real time location. I’ve called about this several times and I’m always told to first try to use the remote process “lock or unlock doors” that should update the location as long as the car is in park. When this doesn’t work, log out of the app & log back in. If it still isn’t working the uninstall the app & re-download it. The first two options NEVER work!! And I am sick of uninstalling & re-installing this app. It’s a waste of money.

UNSATISFACTORY. Why does this app only provide basic functionality with a premium vehicle and premium price plan? I own a 2020 Ram 1500 Limited with a twelve inch screen. This generation truck is now in the third year of production and it is no longer acceptable for the app developer to state that all app functions are not available with the twelve inch screen. How difficult can it be for smart developers to make this app compatible? Furthermore, the app is extremely slow and does not provide feedback on whether a requested function is successful. This is pure laziness and greed on the part of the developer. I will not renew my subscription unless this app gets better. Whatever happened to customer good service and satisfaction? Shame on you for three years of doing nothing to address this travesty!

Watch App Works with phone only?!. What is the point of having a watch app, when the app on the phone has to be logged in at the same time for the watch app to do anything? If I had my phone on my body, I’d just use the phone! The entire point of the watch app is to have another access point to the car. I have an Apple Watch 4 with cellular. Was expecting to have my watch be a backup to my iPhone for accidentally locking my keys in the car. Turns out the watch app can’t work on its own from a cellular Apple Watch. It has to connect to the phone. Defeats the purpose a bit if I lock my keys and my phone in the car. (Yes the watch could Bluetooth to the phone in this use case, but if the Uconnect login Is screwed up on the phone - you’re basically SOL even though the watch is perfectly capable of being on the internet$

Doesn’t Work. After owning GM cars that’s had the Chevy app, I was used to it consistently working. I don’t think it ever failed to start. Oh, and it was free for 5 years. Not only does the UConnect never work on my Grand Cherokee, it is VERY expensive when the free year is up. It’s complete garbage. I attempt to start my car about 5 minutes before I leave work when the temp is above 90 to cool it down, which is most of the summer in Atlanta. Imagine my disgust when, 9 out of 10 times, I come out and my car is like Satan’s inferno inside because the app failed and didn’t start the car. The app was a selling point for me. Now, it will be one of the reasons that I don’t buy another one. This is my first Chrysler product and will most likely be my last.

I want to love it, but it barely works!. The concept and the features are fantastic! If they work right. I will send a request from the app to start the vehicle, or lock/unlock the vehicle. Then anywhere from 3 minutes to 15+ minutes later the vehicle will finally respond! I understand there may be delays because of communication or data lags. But 15+ minutes to remote start a car, ridiculous! On a plus side, the information I can get instantly such as fuel level, tire pressure, mileage etc. is very convenient. However I probably wont be renewing the subscription after this month. I do not think paying $14+ monthly for a partially functioning system is worth it. The manufacturer has had this technology for several years now. They need to get it together... this is on 2017 Ram 2500 for those wondering.

Works ok but needs some usability updates. This works great for our Gladiator but upon acquiring a Wrangler 4xe we discovered that we could only have one or the other active in this app (unlike Mopar garage where we can switch vehicles) As there is no sign out option for the app you have to delete the app and reinstall and then add the new vehicle under a different account setup. Pretty inconvenient! Our solution for now is that my wife has the Gladiator under her account and I have the Wrangler under my account Please fix this, it’s not too difficult these days especially with cloud enabled systems like these

MOPAR Technology. I love mopar cars, the response you get from driving and the different things you can do to make your car custom to match you. But this app does not define who mopar is. This app works when it wants to, this app should be able to work at anytime and from any range. The technology of this app is by far in last place. My friend has a Hyundai and they are able to set the temperature of the car and turn on the heated seat or A/C seats from the app. They even have a scheduler where you can set the car to turn on at certain times. Why are we behind when the company is able to make a beastly engine. We need to step it up!!!!!

Brand New Charger With Uconnect. Well I’ve had my charger for two weeks now and I still haven’t been able to connect my car to the Guardian system. I’ve called in 4xs now and keep receiving the same answer to call back in two days because they are behind from the holidays. At some point this has to end. What is actually taking so long to get my vehicle updated?? ***Update to my review... I’m changing my stars to 5. Now that I have connected it’s an absolute amazing app. Dealers should tell customers to give it 10 business days to connect.

Sadly doesn’t always work. It’s very frustrating when you work the night shift and have the capability of starting your car from your office so it will be warm and toasty when you walk out in frigid weather to get in your car only to find once again..... your car didn’t start. I’m certainly hoping this update helps, otherwise I’m not going to continue to pay monthly for something that works 2 out of 5 attempts. It should work 5 out of 5. I accidentally left my keys in my office to grab something out of my car, by the time I got the app to unlock my car and lock it back I could have walked in and grabbed my keys 10 times over! When it works it’s awesome but it’s just not worth it to not have it work properly all the time.

App needs help. Seriously.... This isn't difficult to accomplish. My Hyundai had a far superior app. Go look at theirs and copy of you have to. Main screen should provide a clear precise status of the vehicle. I never know my doors are locked without submitting a lock request. Same goes for remote start. Says it was submitting but does that mean it's accepted and started? How about a countdown timer until the autostart shuts down. Also my vehicle info is not updating. Mileage has not been updated in 7 days and the car has been driven. You expect people to pay for this but you have a long way to go. P.S. Hyundai app was 100% free.

Not working well. I am a new Jeep owner and this is my first time using UConnect. I was excited at the prospect of being able to remotely start my car from anywhere, but it rarely works from the app. It works better to simply push the button on the key fob. I also have found that when playing my audible book (connecting through Uconnect) it always starts a couple of chapters back and I have to listen to chapters I’ve already heard. It also did not stop playing the audible book when I received a phone call, I guess because it was through a different system? I don’t know—this is all very confusing to me. It should be simple to use. I’ve never had this many problems understanding a simple app before. If I’m not able to figure it out soon I won’t be paying the monthly fee and will just use the key fob to start my car.

No subscription detected. I had a 2500 with this feature and loved it, however I’ve since purchased a 1500, after 3 separate reps via 3 separate calls on 3 separate days no one could get me an account set up with the new 1500. I then contacted them via the in truck option which requires me to stay parked. After 17 minutes of that, they claimed it would work within 10 minutes. I’ve deleted the app, re-downloaded the app, signed in, signed out, and it’s been several hours. I still have no subscriptions detected after speaking with 4 people on 4 separate occasions now. I’m going to simply chalk this up to poor quality product and service and just consider it not an option to have available on this new truck. I’d really like to use it, but they can’t seem to figure it out. Waste of time.

Car located in the ocean 115 miles away. This app has worked well for me when it comes to detecting issues with my car if any. I do have issue with it starting my car and locking my doors. After a couple of tries it will start or lock the car. The issue is if my car got stolen I wouldn’t be able to track it with this app and this is one of the reasons I have this app. I know my car is sitting right outside in my driveway. I go to see the location just to see what pops up and it says my car is 115 miles away in the Atlantic Ocean. I pay my bill faithfully every month and I expect this app to at least track the location. I removed the app and reinstalled it still says my car is in the ocean.

Way better in theory. This app has all of the things you could ask for in a mobile app for your car, the execution is just NOT THERE. Performing any of the main actions (lock, unlock, start, location) take upwards of a minute to complete, and you aren’t exactly sure if it even worked. It would be greatly improved if you could see the live status of your vehicle on these. For example, after you waste 60 seconds for it to lock, it would be nice if it showed that the car was currently locked. Same with remote start- would be comforting to know that it is running, and maybe display the counter until the remote start cancels and the car shuts off again.

Update screws up PIN -Poor customer support. Went to use app and was told my pin needed to be initiated. I set up a pin months ago. The app directed me to a number. After three attempts and a total of an hour waiting to speak to a rep, I finally got to do so. Told an “update” was the culprit. Don’t these idiots test there updates prior to release? Told to delete and reload app. UCONNECT has my email and cell. Why did it simply send out an email or text and tell its customers simply to delete and reload app? Too easy. Same idiots who came up with an “upgrade” that adds nothing new.

U connect services. Wish the app could have more options for car functions. App seems great when not near car yo start or unlock for someone. However, had a bit of a delay when using controls while connecting to server/car. Wish the app would also have the ability to control the heat and air before getting into car after starting and able to control the front windows and sunroof would be awesome! Hopefully they take that into consideration. I feel like the app is just e same as the key remote that is free to already use in my possession. Overall good app as a secondary remote..

App severely under performs. The app is a good thought, but they don’t do much for implementing it fully. The app does not always start the vehicle, and it will not inform you if it does fail, you just got to hope. On occasion it will say fail, however when I go outside the vehicle is running. It would be nice to integrate the app with Siri, the same way it works with Alexa. I have quit paying for the app, since it’s very useless in the summer with no doors. The only fiction that might be good is the location and fuel status, but it’s often outdated information. Now for some reason I am getting a notifications literally 30 seconds for the past 10 minutes that my trial is expired. Time to delete the app

Absolute TRASH!!!. This app is absolute trash!!! Not only is it unimpressive in how poorly it was made, but that is only surpassed by the sporadic accuracy of it even working. Locked my family and I out of our BRAND NEW 2020 Ram for 2 1/2 hours in a hot parking lot when it decided to stop working. Calling the help number was equally useless because nobody took accountability, and nothing got fixed. In the end, girl on the phone told me that her computer said it was unlocked on her end (even though it wasn’t) and that I should contact the dealership. And just so I’m crystal clear, the dealer was the first one I called and they told me to call Uconnect in the first place because there was nothing they could do. Do yourself a favor and don’t spend $$$ on such a crap product until FCA fixes it.

No info in app. First off I love the app, this is my second Ram and forth overall dodge/Ram vehicle. However, I have a brand new 2021 Ram 1500 with all the bells and whistles and I do not get the information for my truck in the app. I only get the remote and location options. I have reset my phone deleted and re-downloaded the app and nothing. I’ve called customer service and I’ve heard some say that the 2021 Rams with the 12 inch screen don’t have this feature, while others say it does and it’s just not working for me. That does not make sense why would a loaded truck not have that feature? Please let me know something definite.

2019 Ram Laramie Should Work every time right?. Purchased my 2019 Ram Laramie back in May. The Uconnect app works whenever it feels like working. There are no guarantees. Some days no problem then other days just errors out. Cannot find location half the time, remote start from app is inconsistent, same as locking or unlocking. I am very disappointed, purchasing a rather expensive vehicle with loads of technology and the apps signal is not received more then half the time. My wife’s 2020 Subaru Crosstrek has an app that blows away Uconnect. Heck she can set her temperature, heated seats, and much more before she even starts it. Her crosstrek was a 1/2 of the price of the Laramie. Get yourself together Uconnect, this RAM owner is not subscribing when his trial is up. Complete joke and waste of money if you do.
