Fantastic!. Drops is an amazing app, and it’s organized really well and the graphics are clean. it’s extremely helpful with learning vocabulary, and the five minute lessons are a great way to learn. I have the drops app for japanese and actually makes the learning process enjoyable. If the five minute lessons aren’t your style, you can get a yearly subscription for only about 5 dollars a month.

Awesome app!!!. First off the layout is flawless and easy to use, I love everything about this app. I have tried many language apps and none of them are amazing as this one! I like how it teaches different categories that you’ll actually use in an actual conversation!! I also love that the app uses native speakers for the pronunciation, it makes learning the target language much easier. All and all I haven't really found anything bad about the app, except that we have to pay a couple of bucks, which I wouldn't mind doing because of how great the app is overall.

Learning!. So far, one the first day, I learned five words. I feel it’s a good first time due to only deciding to learn Japanese five minutes before this! I will continue my training! The app itself helps you learn how to write and speak the word, as well as letting you know WHAT is being said.

Better than Duolingo. For a couple of years, I’ve used Duolingo as my language learning app, but while it may be good for something like French, it didn’t improve my Japanese. In just the first day with this app, I have learned more than Duolingo could have taught me in week.

Incredibly easy and convenient. I’ve had this app for a bit, and I don’t have the premium, but I do get the free 5 minutes a day, and even with just the 5 minutes I’ve learned plenty of Japanese foods and writing, but this does take lots of time and practice, learning a new language isn’t easy! Anyways, great job drops team, you make learning Japanese easier than I thought🧡

Best flash cards. I love this app, with it I been able to master hiragana and katakana with about a week, I wish thought that it was a little bit more challenging, when it comes to cards, it will show you one correct answer and the other there are so far off you know it’s not them. But worth the money for sure. Buy if you want to increase vocabulary.

Relearning Japanese. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japanese used to be my first language. When I moved to the United States at the age of 7, I slowly started to remember less and less of the Japanese language, especially Kanji. Although Drops should not be your only method of learning a language (read books in a language of your interest) it is nonetheless a great way to learn or relearn the basics of a language.

Did it's job slightly poorly. I decided to come back to using Drops so I can learn new words. I set it back up & find that my progress has been reset. Then again, I suppose some review won't hurt. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is now a type of question where you draw a character from the hiragana/katakana/kanji(?) letters. The only problem I have with this new type of question is that it's a bit finicky. Most of the 5 minutes that I had to learn these characters/words have been wasted by the app thinking I did poorly in the writing questions. There was also some lag (not frame rate issues), but I guess I can blame Apple for that.

OMG I LOVE THIS APP!!!. This app is the best!!!! Not only is it really fun to play, It really is a great way to learn languages. It’s free and easy to play, and you can select exclusively what you want to learn! This app has to make money too, so you can buy a subscription for premium stuff. But everything is unlock able....as long as you work hard and dedicated to learning the language you want to learn. I think it’s a really good, ad free, fun, easy, language-learning game!!! (Also for people who hate monthly/yearly fees like me, just get the lifetime subscription!!!)

Amazing for learning. It amazing for learning. It’s easy to digest and doesn’t force you to learn an alphabet. It even has images to help you remember each word, ensuring that you won’t forget. You can choose a reminder time, and have the 5 minute lesson. I’ve learned more from 5 minutes here than multiple months on Duolingo.

UI/visual design. Wow, I love it when they get good designers mixed in with apps that help you learn although there’s some minor issues after using it for the last 20 mins. There are a lot of redundancies that I don’t think help you remember the meaning or spelling of a word, but I could look past that because the visual design, sound, and iconography are very nice. Also the most impressive part is the UI which has multiple, yet familiar interactions such as one that mimics a swiping password login to swiping left it right for a potential booty call on Tinder, all the actions are very natural.

I wish it was cheaper, but it’s still really good!. I freaking love this app!!! It taught me so much Japanese vocabulary, and it’s helped me so much! Not to mention it’s really fun as well. I bought the premium version, and it’s great; my only complaint is that it’s expensive. $9.99? Really? I wish it would be at least half of that, or a one time purchase. Anyways, this app is still really useful!

Helpful!. writing practice is extremely helpful in learning how to write characters (jpn, chn, or krn), but I wish the guides would go away earlier, and that we could write however comfortable (like when writing in your native language, how you learn to write whichever way you feel most comfortable/like best) rather than only follow the guides.

Best app for learning Japanese!!. So I only recently got this app but I’ve had a wonderful experience with it! I have learned so many new words and they actually stick! The app makes it easy to remember the words and it’s a great practicing app. I do recommend getting the subscription though because for me, 5 minutes per day isn’t enough and with the subscription more is available. Overall, a great app for learning Japanese words, the syllabaries (the kana), and kanji characters. 10/10 would recommend

I just started! 💖. About a year ago I wanted to learn a new language and this first thing that came to mind was Japanese. I was looking for apps and I just couldn’t find any. When I found this app I downloaded it and got to work! I’ve already learned so much and I hope you can to! 💖

Japanese needs work. If you’re coming into this app looking to learn Japanese for the first time, I can tell you there are some serious problems with the way they’re presenting the info. For one thing, the foreign words are written in hiragana when they should be written in katakana (e.g. “salad” should be written as サラダ but they’ve written it as さらだ which is not correct). Changing the writing style to “Kana & Kanji” didn’t seem to correct this. Why teach katakana if you’re not going to use it for the words in the rest of the app? A bigger problem is that they don’t include the accented versions of the characters when you’re learning the alphabet. For example, you learn that は means “ha” but you’ll never learn that ば and ぱ mean “ba” and “pa” and these accented characters are a SIGNIFICANT part of the language, which you’ll plainly see if you look at the rest of the vocabulary in the app. It doesn’t make any sense that they’d completely omit them up front and expect you to know them later on. The presentation is slick and fun to use so they deserve a lot of credit for that but for they price you’re paying you’d expect something a lot more complete.

So far so good. The way the romanization is broken up is kind of weird but that made me turn that option off which, in turn, forced me to work on my katakana again. So I guess that's a good thing! I haven't played it for long but I already really enjoy how easy it is to use. The interface is fluid and I am excited to see just how far this app can take me in my studies.

In Love. Love Love Love Love this app. I had to put it off for a while because of school and work taking up all of my time but with the tiny intervals of game time it’s pretty easy to fit in some learning every once in a while. With the Japanese version I am SO glad they added the learning how to write the characters while you learn them. Would recommend this app a thousand times over

Neat vocab building app. Not sure how useful this will be long term for me, but I enjoyed what I’ve seen so far. I will try to build a habit with this to increase my vocabulary. I am curious how expansive the word list is as I chose intermediate and already knew most of the words. But very cool and smooth UX so far!

Drops review. Drops gives a constant reminder on what a word means and the pronunciations which is very helpful for a beginner. It also gives a gentle reminder when you get something wrong, making it much less discouraging than most other apps.

Awesome but... This app is awesome itself. Great to learn, and easy. But my whole thing is; it would be nice if there was a separate kanji lesson section you know? Learning Kanji before hand with a different app helped me get things down easier so yeah. I know its kanji on the app but it’s just a thought of having a separate spot for it😊💞. Awesome and best app, 10/10!

Believe Me.. I am picky about my apps I use to learn new languages, I go on and off an many, but I’ve found Drops as one of, or even THE best, as it helps me remember things and do it in a fun way. I can learn Korean Japanese, French and more on her easier than I’d ever thought I could, and although the “Hangul” or “kanji” and etc, are important, you aren’t required to go through that process on this app, you are allowed to do it on your own free time. It’s amazing. Personally, Drops, Duolingo, Write Japanese, Write Korean, and infinite Korean are my favorite apps. I ten out of ten, so recommend, one hundred percent would do again!😅😊

Much better than Duolingo. I have been using this app for two days and know much more words than I knew while using Duolingo! This app, I say, is a much more focused app, and gets to the topic without repeating itself. I recommend it to any level learners!

Awesome 🥰. It helps when you hear it enunciated properly, see a picture and spell it. It turns into a game to practice what you learned using muscle memory. I love that because you can associate the emotional connection of winning and getting it right or losing and making you want to do better. That way, you don’t make that mistake again. Either way, you learn. This is a beautiful but difficult language that won’t be learned over night but this app teaches little by little so you are not overwhelmed. It’s great.

Wow. This app is amazing. Wow. This is awesome I just had first tried it days ago and I got to say it’s good. It will not let you forget words like I always had for mushroom in Japanese but it had keep had reminded me over and over. But only 2 problems with this app. 1. You need to more words like 6,000 but why 1,700. That’s is not enough. The only reason why I have said that because this app will be helpful remembering because remembering was very difficult for me but I am on my 1st level here. I would like this app to have more words built in to it. 6000 will be enough and learn kanji too. My next question here. Will the app will be shut down, selling it, takes if down of the store for any reason or if Drops has a website too will it ever go down too? I’m worried. When I had see something I really like then I get worried like what if it goes down. That’s my review. Yep. But please add more words like 6000 and learn kanji

Really nice!. I personally think this app is super amazing. It is one of the few apps who have actually drilled the information into my head. The repetitiveness within the lessons makes you remember the content. I had this app a couple of years ago and just recently redownloaded it, but even after a year or two, I still remember the contents of most of the lessons! The only thing I think is a little sad is that you can only get a couple minutes for free, and to get unlimited access, you need to buy the premium membership, which is quite expensive. Other than that, amazing app!

This is a good app. I really love this app. It was very helpful for me. I like how there are different categories you can work on. I love the features in the game. There is a good span of lessons you can do with out getting the premium. I have used this apple for 2 weeks now and it’s really good. It helps with beginners, intermediate and upper mediate.

Good vocab but.... There are sections where the broken up pieces of the word are in romanized lettering. This isn’t as helpful as ordering the hiragana/katakana together because that’s what a learner will generally be seeing once s/he has weaned off the training wheels of romanization. Not to mention sometimes when the words are broken up they’re not even broken up by the syllables academics would use to romanize each syllable of kana. It’s a great starting place for vocabulary but this would assist the app in growing stronger. (As far as I know, this is only from one play-through. If this changes further on into the learning levels, please disregard my suggestion.)

Icons. This app is amazing! It’s helped me so much. It’s more helpful than duolingo and kaizen. The only thing I’d change is the icons for certain words. On “onegaishimasu” it really doesn’t make sense to me. It’s a little confusing. So is “mizuokudasai” it looks more like a soap bottle than a water bottle . But that’s it, other than that it’s great and I’d rate it 10 stars if I could.

Recommend for the adventurous!. Personally, I love this app. It’s a great little in-pocket way to train yourself to a new language in your spare time. The app is colorful, engaging, and exciting. Animated verbs display what the verb actually is, instead of just telling you and hoping you don’t start mixing them up on sound alone. This app isn’t going to teach you to speak the language, but it will teach you to recognize it in a functional way that will help improve your understanding of a place that is foreign to you. I currently have the free version. I may pay for an upgraded version at a later date. The free version is definitely worth your 5 minutes!

Great app, honestly.. I love this app I honestly love how you can learn how to draw the charaters! Plus I don't have to deal with the anoying you must upgrade to premium! box without it i can freely learn the language with 100% power and nothing can stop me! But I do wish I could get 10 minutes insted of 5 I feel like with this amazing app I feel like I want to do more and more but then the 5 minutes are up and I have to wait till the next day. I hope with this app I can learn my dream langague!!

Amazing app!. I've been using this app for about a month now and I love it! I feel like I've already learned a ton of vocabulary, but there're still plenty of sections left to go through! The app keeps things interesting with different ways of learning/reinforcing both the written and vocal versions of the words it's taught, and that's been working well for me. Plus, you can always go back to any sections you complete if you want more practice. I will say, the app hasn't explicitly explained any of the language's grammar to me, but I feel like I've been able to start picking some of it up through context clues. I don't get the impression that I'll be able to use this app to learn the language fluidly without any other aids, but it's still an amazing amount of free content that's a great as a building block, and great for daily practice! I also don't know if the upgraded versions are more helpful for going further with learning, but I'm still very happy with the free version! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start out! If anything changes, I might do an updated review later down the line!

ITS SO HELPFUL. M Currently learning Japanese (so I can have the dub without subtitles and Japanese guys are hot) because it’s really fun and the way they pronounce stuff is adorable I’m learning Hebrew as well and the way that it works and you can write stuff down is just too much fun I’ve learned a lot of words and I mean there’s no reason not to get it

Overall pretty and engaging, time pay wall. The title says it all. It’s a very engaging app in my opinion but there’s a paywall for more time. You can use it for 5 minutes every 10 hours which I mean is something, but it’s not ideal if you want to learn a lot of vocabulary. They rely a lot of furigana instead of the actual katakana or hiragana so I’m not super sure whether or not it’ll help for reading menus or signs, mostly more for picking out vocabulary in spoken sentences. Still, very fun to use

Excellent way to learn new stuff!. This app is way cool and exceeds expectations a lot! The bite sized lessons are a fantastic approach, as they happen once every 10 hours you can actually see if you remember stuff or not. The visuals and graphics are soothing to the eyes and fantastic. This might be called nitpicking but the only thing that threw me off is the narration (or Text to Speech, you may say) sounds a bit strange, but other than that, hats off to the Developing team!

Awesome!. Really great app! It’s awesome! It shows a picture, shows how it written in the language you are learning, and how you would pronounce it, and you can choose for it to also show the word in your language. Overall great app, highly recommend for learning a new language. Oh, also, they offer lessons for beginners, intermediate, and expert.

Amazing!. I’ve just started today and already learned a bunch of new words! I highly recommend this app if you really badly wanna learn Japanese like me! This app may be best for all ages! Maybe not for people who have problems with remembering stuff,But besides that, this app is highly recommended! Thank you for all your hard work you put into this app! ^^

A different way to practice vocabulary. I’ve been self studying Japanese off and on for several years and one stumbling block to study has been finding an engaging way to study vocabulary words. Flash cards have never held my attention but the memory games in this app keep me coming back to practice and keep words fresh in my mind. It does not teach grammar but I find it a useful supplement to my study.

So Far It’s Great. I got this to learn Japanese because I have family that’s Japanese. Plus I’ve always wanted to learn it. I’m only on my first day but I’ve learned a lot of the words. It makes it fun like a game and also pairs it with pictures. I would like to say that so far, on my first day this app is amazing!!!

Amazing app!. I’ve been wanting an app to help me learn a new language and this one was the one for me. It contains many languages to choose from and not just the bare minimum like 4 languages. Not only is there an app to help u learn the language, there’s also an app to help you write the language which I think is even better! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No icons for the menstruation course?. None of the vocabulary for the menstruation course have any pictures or icons to go with them. Not only does this defeat the purpose of the app, but also it leaves you gambling which “picture” is the correct one when it comes to matching them. On top of this, 5 minutes is not nearly enough for this app. There’s already advertisements so i’m not sure what the get up is..

Worth the money. Honestly, the best app for learning Japanese vocabulary. The pronunciation for each word is clear and concise and not just a weird robot voice. I’ve never had any issues or weird errors; runs super smooth. Plus, they always seem to make great improvements. Oh and on top of it all it’s aesthetically pleasing :) It’ll be a great addition to anyone’s study tools.

Fast and flashy. It’s nice to learn with images, though notably these are vector graphics and may not result in the same mental correlations as you would have seeing images of real things. Time will tell. There is a misusage of hiragana when katakana should be used for foreign words. The flashy animations for transitioning between screens are kind of annoying. It’s hard to rate the program as a whole when I’ve hardly tried it. Hey devs: try making you app wait alittle longer before it asks for reviews.

6/10. I love this app so much. I am a visual learner so the graphics really help. If you are an auditory learner it’s also great because there is a lot of sounding out available. The only thing I wish was in the app is more games. When I played Kahoot in school that always really helped me so I think something like that would be great. Other then that, I have no complaints :)

Good for 5 Minutes a Day!. 5 minutes a day is a great enough time to learn but not too much time that you’ll overwhelm yourself a quit a few days in! I like how everything is split up into topics so I can choose what area of vocabulary i want to study. I especially like the specialty topics that pop up during the year like this month’s Halloween topic to teach you Halloween words!

I would but…. Now I like this app and all, It’s very cool and a convenient learning app but you have to wait 9 hours until your next lesson if you don't buy the offer. I would recommend to anyone but only if they are willing to wait like I am. The app itself is very enjoyable and easy to learn. So I’ll be giving it 4 stars even though I truly think it deserves 5 stars.

Never thought I’d be the one to say this.... I am having a super fun time learning Japanese with Drops. Using simple pictures and games, I’ve already learned to speak 17 words and I find myself looking forward to the next session. Another feature of this app that is sort of built into the learning style is that it provides the next word to learn rather than just picking words from a list and mimicking them. Very good, fun app!

Highest Quality Language App. The app employs a sweet cocktail of simple pictures, repeated pronunciation, satisfying drills, and calming sound effects. It functions very smoothly and the lesson glides by. It’s a high quality language learning app with numerous ways of customizing your session schedule. Also, make sure to use with headphones to pick up on the pronunciation nuance and subtleties.

So Far So Good. This is only my first day, but I really enjoyed the way this app is laid out. There are some points that are a tad bit confusing, but I think it is just because I am new. I love that you can turn off the romaji.I don’t quite yet know my Japanese characters, but I feel like this is already helping me to get a grasp of them.

A fun way to learn!. It’s so different from any other language app I’ve used, and it’s so memorable and engaging. I can’t wait to practice more with this method! It starts off in a way that almost anyone can truly remember, use and build confidence with, and it’s something fun to look forward to doing everyday. A perfect 5 stars from me! I love it!

Love this app!!!!!. It makes it so easy to learn and is so much fun! Solidifies your memory of each word form different angles and so quickly!

Amazing!. I have just started using drops and although I don’t have premium I am learning so much! I get around 2 five minute session a day (without premium) and although they seem quite short, I get a lot out of them. The fact that they are short sessions helps me to really remember the information and I love how every day they go over what you have learnt the previous day so that you don’t forget. I would definitely recommend using this app if you are looking for a steady and efficient way to learn some Japanese!

Great visual learning. Easy and fun to use to train your mind to read Japanese hiragana and Kanji - also a good refresher if you learned years ago.

Really thoughtful and well designed. Nicely made app would consider buying...

Free trial. Even the free trial is helpful! Like this app a lot has helped with few words already

Amazing. I have just come back from an exchange to Japan from Australia and I really don’t want to loose all the Japanese I have learnt so this is really helpful!

Decent. I think this app when used along with other methods of Japanese study can prove to be pretty useful. Using this app on its own in my opinion would not be effective enough to teach the full Japanese language efficiently.

Visually pleasing and not hard on the mind. The 5 minutes makes it really easy to just do something quickly before or after school. The colours and art are very aesthetic.

Love it. It is nice and easy but also want to know what the characters are used for

Great way to learn new vocabulary. Would be nice if you could erase your progress. I haven’t used it in over a year and forgot a ton of Vocab. I had to make a brand new email account just to erase my progress. Other than that it’s great!

Very nice app. Have been looking for an app to learn how to write Japanese, after trying a few I stuck to this one. Play-full, easy to use and it somehow always gets me to do a bit more. I like how repetition works within the lesson, it does not getting boring, as it’s mixed in in the right dosage.

Email spam. Thought I’d give it a go and signed up to use free but then got bombarded with emails. I tried to unsubscribe but it said I wasn’t on their mailing list. Ended up having to block them and deleting app to stop the emails.

It’s Fun. Just starting to use this app but so far I love the bright interface, the ease of use and the feeling that that it’s an easy game

👌. Very good use of animation to help understand Japanese culture and language, and is very user friendly

Japanese.. This is the best app I've found for learning Japanese so far. It is perfect for getting the characters stuck in your memory. The only negative is the price of the subscription. I think you guys are pricing yourselves out of having one of the most popular language apps on the market. A lot of people, especially young kids(your main audience), will not pay for the subscription at its current price. I think lower prices would get you more users and you could really challenge duolingo for top spot on the language app chart.

I love it. I really enjoyed the bite sized lessons, they were very effective in teaching the pronunciation and spelling of words.

To learn. I pick up Japanese faster then normal and it’s helping me learn a lot faster

🙌. Really good, just needed to brush up on my vocabulary again before going back to Japan, very easy to use

Nice. It is nice to take it step by step but 5 minutes is not enough time.

Neat, easy to use. A great way to learn Japanese. Nice simple interface that is calming and fun to play. Other apps focus on the words, while drops helps you learn the characters as well.

Sydney’s should. This is what I need to retain new words, repetition in a fun and interesting way that doesn’t drive me to tears with boredom

Free?. I know you guys want money but instead of a subscription maybe make it a once off payment?

Great app👍👍👍. The 5 minutes is a really good amount of time as it allows you to focus more. I find that I can learn twice a day some days which is really helpful. This will defiantly boost your skills, no matter what language you are learning.

i love this app. this app is so fun and easy to use. the pictures are very helpful and i like how it speaks the words to you each time you choose them. it’s a visual and audio app and i love it. this visuals are really helpful and i love it.

Great app. Love how they give you simple understanding of what things are called, very easy way to grasp a language

JUST WOW. I have just started my first lesson on Drops and now I know good and cutlery names I have been taking Japanese lessons and this with definitely help my learning abilities go through the Roof

Excellent program.. The use of a variety of mechanisms to review and expand your vocabulary is a great way to ease you through learning new words.

Great app that helps learn foreign language. especially words

Surprise. I’m surprisingly impressed with the easy navigation of this app and the user experience. Very easy to learn.

Wowsome. I am a grade 8 school girl learning Japanese, and this helped alot! It’s like all the apps combined into one and more! I’m going to keep it brief but keep it up it means lot (and keep it free plz)

Fun & keeps your attention. The constant change in style of question keeps you interested and the app is attractive and easy to use

Very easy to use. I learnt around 10 words in only 5 minutes and it works really well.

Drops are the best language class I ever had. Try drops every time you want to learn language it is really helpful.

Great idea. Love the interface, so much easier to learn the language. Great work guys 😊

Brilliant for visual learners. I’ve tried heaps of different apps and this is by far the best one. Associate the word with an image, which is the way children learn to speak. In love this app. Just wish I could adjust when I’m ready to learn different Japanese characters or not.

Love it. Drops gave me the push to start learning a new language

Easy to learn new words. I like the fact that the contents is easy and repeat. It helps me to learn new words as a beginner.

3-4. Bit hard to remember them, feel like it skips them too fast

Learning Made Easy. Effective and easy to use.

One of the best language apps.. This is so much better than Duolingo. Its a fun and effective way to slowly learn words and the language. It helps you read, pronounce and say japanese words. I love it and highly recommend it.

Really enjoyed it.. Loved how they started with foods as I will most likely use Japanese in a restaurant and had a very clear voice for all the words and worked well for me.

Easy learning. I like the concept of the drops system.

Hi. I was just learning Dutch and now I decided to learn Japanese and I am telling you I love learning Japanese because of drops😊

Great. I think this is a great way to start a language you don’t even need to pay for the rest you can just practice the words it has given you.

Very good app. Very easy to use and is always reliable. Let’s you practice letter symbols for trickier languages such as korean and Japanese. Love this app

Nice introduction. Just getting started: good visuals and approach - free version seems quite limited but you can extend time slightly with ads etc

Easy way to lear a foreign language. Learning new alphabets has always been hard to me. Drops system is incredibly easy and helpful!

Helps at school. I have can now go to class and speak to my teacher in Japanese

Keeps crashing. Would be better if it didn’t keep crashing. Also, on many sessions the screen doesn’t load or interact properly. There are components missing from the screen. Disappointing quality. Hopefully they’ll fix the issues.

Great app wish it had recap tab :). Really enjoying this app but wish there was a recap section as I’m learning a lot but feel like I’m going to learn too many at once and a recap would help! Otherwise it’s a super fun way to learn

It’s amazing!. I’ve learned so much Japanese from it!! It’s so worth downloading.

Very good. I love how this is bite sized chunks that you can go away and process before learning more. My problem so far has been pushing too long and learning too much at once. This really helps slow me down. I can review what I’ve learned at any time.

Not a bit trust me. Very friendly and so easy to learn!

Very helpful. It helps me memorize the words a lot 😃👍

Japan. Japan is my dream land and learning the language is great for the job opportunities that I want in the future どうもありがとうございます

🇯🇵Learn with fun 🇯🇵. I think it’s really a good app to learn Japanese

Déçue. J’adore l’app. MAIS, lorsque je veux me connecter (j’ai essayé autant dans l’inscription que dans la connexion), ça me dit que l’email est déjà utilisé. Même quand je suis dans « connexion » j’ai tout essayé... je perds mais streaks et ça m’énerve vraiment.

Fun learning experience. Great app to increase daily vocabulary!

This game is awesome. Definitely get this game it’s amazing

方法容易. 非常好的方法引導我記住發音,過程中不停重複單字發音,如果在發音時,日字可同時發光,可能會同時更好記住日字

It’s pretty awesome!. Having it repeat the words and show illustrations is really nice and makes learning easier and more fun.

So easy to learn!. Love it so far!

It helps!. Idk what to say but I hate that it’s makes u only do it fir 5 mins

I love it!!!. I love this app so much!!! I would’ve gave it 5 stars if only the lessons were longer without paying so could you make the lessons 10 minutes longer pleaaase!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best app ever. The reason I want to learn Japanese is because I started to watch anime, and I want to speak it and understand it instead of using the sub

Apps keeps crashing. I was doing well until my app crashed me. Fix your program!

Very easy. It’s easy to use and helps learn fast

Good. This app is good ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Learning. Visuals are amazing

To Korean drops and Japanese drops.. Thank you I knew I can move to japan and Korea when I am twenty so just thank you you are the best drops

Formidable. Facile d’utilisation

Jadetheriault. Super!

Pleasant. It’s simple, colourful, and user friendly. A very enjoyable way to learn.

Easy and fun!. Love it so far!

Ion know. It’s really fun and really helps me learn how to write hiragana

Omg it help so much. This is so amazing

Gf. Vg

More kanji early on, svp. Works much better on an iPod touch 6th gen 32 Gb than i had expected. This may be useful if can review my kanji list at least weekly: prefer next day then 2 days later, then 4 then 8 then 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and if need be, 512. As ever, chai is not brown unless in agglutinated form with iro 茶色 お茶 is Japanese tea, not a brown eminence.

Japenese. This app is really good and I’ve learnt a lot of japenese 😌

Hi. It’s amazing

AMAZING. by far the best Japanese learning app

Question. The app is amazing! But… I notice on the main drops app in the Japanese section it is more updated and has more topics and levels… when will you add the update to this app?

great. easy to learn

ajnsisjdjx. ayo five star, its rlly good tbh

Nic4. Nice

Perfect!. The app corrects you when you’re wrong and helps you improve. I would really recommend it!

Wow. Love it

Great😊. I love it would rate 5stars if there was a bit more time for free other than only 5mins but otherwise great 👍

Review. Best vocabulary builder ever!

So far so good. They way it teaches is awesome

Awesome!. It’s super fun, doesn’t even feel like you’re learning but you definitely are!

Easy peasy. A fun way to learn

Love it. I’ve been learning 8 days and I have 100+ words memorized!! It’s amazing.

Amazing ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡. I love this app and the various techniques it uses to learn languages!! It’s easy to use and fun!!

Great. Great for learning Japanese

Very well done. I like it a lot, five minutes a day is just about enough for any beginner that wants to try a new language. Of course, as you get more experienced, going with the premium version is something I would personally recommend.

amazing app! 10/10. i love this app! i’ve been wanting to learn japanese for awhile now but all the apps cost money and there are no local classes near me! i love how this app says the words multiple times!

nah itd good. nahh bruh frl its fkg good

Fun fun fun. Fun to play and learn at the same time !

thx. This app learned me japan and i love it but bad part 5 m i dont like it

My request. Hi, I love the app so much because it’s really making progress with my Japanese learning. I would love if you can add sentences where we can see if we know how to read the sentence in japanese.

Drops is fun. I’m interested in learning Japanese, so this app and Duolingo go great together. It’s fast and fun which makes it great for quickly learning vocabulary words and the alphabet

It’s working. So far the pictures matching with the words is working well. It took a minute to figure out the dragging to the right picture move.

Wonderful. This app makes learning a new language easy and do able. With their new updates, it’s smoother than ever. You look forward to using this app on a daily.

WOW. This app has so much weather you have premium or not i think that the price for premium is really good to they have me a offer for only $50 for a year i am truly impressed with this app!

So far, so good. Time will tell if my brain retains lessons beyond the app, but I feel the presentation approach used, there is a greater chance for more success than failure. Depends on the student, too, but if one wants to learn, this seems a good way to be taught!

Drops is the number one app. Drops is the number one app i use for new languages because it gives u time to process it and has other categories of languages. Its a pretty simple yet fun app to use.

Learning!. So far, one the first day, I learned five words. I feel it’s a good first time due to only deciding to learn Japanese five minutes before this! I will continue my training! The app itself helps you learn how to write and speak the word, as well as letting you know WHAT is being said.

Satisfying. I normally don’t write reviews, but I’m very pleased with how this application is set up. The layout, the frequency and the ease of use that this program affords has really helped me and won my accolades. Great work to whom ever is responsible for making this application.

Helpful. I'm just now learning Japanese. This is one of the first apps I downloaded. It is going to be helpful I know it. It teaches words so far but I'm sure you can learn more as time goes on. I'm still going to need another app to learn the alphabets but this is still a great app! Four stars because I know they can do more! Can't wait to learn!

Not a bad tool to have. For 10 minutes a day, this app provides a nice little extra practice when studying a language

Amazing. The illustrations are amazing and it helps a lot with pronunciation and the voice isn’t annoying at all. It feels like someone is actually teaching you in real life! I recommend

OMG. This app is amazing, quality, language, and you can learn words fluently witch i love (i cannot speak japanese fluent) but this app is a life savior its hard to tell when someone is a bot writing “good reviews” but Im no bot this app id amazing and you should try it 🤤

I like drops. I love Japanese a lot and I’m happy that drops has Japanese a learnable option and I like the detail that whenever I touch the screen it makes a ripple! Small details like this is what make apps like these great

Great!. I’ve only been using it for a short while, but I love how there are multiple different methods of learning. And the words repeat enough times so that it gets stuck in your head, and you remember!

The drawing is an amazing way to learn and it makes the sound after everything you do. Definitely recommend

Cool. I wanted to learn Japanese since I might go to Japan in a couple years. I just started using this app and honestly it’s kinda fun. I’m 16 right now so the only way to keep my attention for learning is if it’s fun and this app is. :)

Great for 5 minutes. The 5 minutes you get for free is amazing but I wish that you could study for as long as you want without having to pay for premium

Love it!!. I’d used this for Korean as a beginner so I already knew it was great, but this is even better! I really needed an app that could let me trace the characters and get used to them and this has exactly that

Simple and effective. The fact that it’s such a short paced app that allows you to progress forward at your leisure makes it incredibly convenient to use.

AWESOME!. It helps me learn better when it repeats it numerously! I’ve been wanting to learn Japanese for a long time since my grandma is Japanese and my mom is too! My mom unfortunately forgot how to speak since moving to the US, only my grandma knows! So this hopefully will help me converse with her as well!!

Really user friendly!. I love that it’s fast paced, but allows you to really remember and learn the new words. Also, I like the option to wanting to learn the new words. Fantastic app!

Improved since last time I used it. Many bugs have been fixed. Great for learning on the go.

Thank you. I love that you can be slow with this and repeat lessons if need be. The repetition is one of my favorite parts (other than the vast diversity in the languages). Rehearsal is the best way to learn anything. So thank you for that

This is great. This made learning easy and fun. I think that 5 words is the perfect amount to learn so it doesn’t overwhelm you, but just enough to make you feel like you learned something that day.

Great for people without a lot of time. I love drops so far it is great if you only have a few minutes a day to try and learn a new language. I wish they would add a feature where you could watch a video to earn more time.

Best app!!. So I was looking to learn Japanese since I want to visit my friend in Japan but I don’t want to be that foreigner y’know? So I gave this app a try and oh my god it is so easy to learn from it! Recommend to everyone who wants to learn Japanese!!!

Drops language learning. It’s an interesting way to learn that uses images with words to help with association and only asks for 5 minutes, which makes it feel less pressured to do too much where people end up choosing just not to do it, which is nice.

Best Japanese learning app. I have been wanting to learn Japanese for a while now, I installed 20 Japanese apps to see which ones were good. I only ended up with this app, and doulingo. Though I think this sis better. It’s super easy to learn with this.

Not effective. You cannot use this app for learning. Even alphabet can't be learned if you going to learn kana for 5 minutes per day. 10 and even 30 minutes is still not enough. So why even bother with "free" or "polyglot" if "genius" is only option for someone who really want to know Japanese? Prepare 13$ if you want to learn something with this app.

Learning Japanese. Nice app. I would like there to be more words and characters per day and not have to wait so long to use the app again without having to pay so much for it.

Still learning but very helpful!. This app has been a wonder to help me remember basic hiragana and put my skills to use.

Enjoyable baby steps. A beginning is a delicate time. Learning any language can be overwhelming with all the rules, sounds, images. Drops packages the critical first steps of Japanese in a really enjoyable way. This helps keeps the momentum going on the long path to mastery. Thanks!

One thing needs to go. The time limit forces me to migrate to competitors like Duolingo during the cool-down period. Maybe allow us to watch an ad for more time? I understand that free games have to make money somehow, but forcing users to wait without the option to watch ads (which every other game does) isn’t a good idea.

Pretty Darn Helpful!. I was looking for an app that can help me memorize the Hiragana and Katakana alphabet and this really does it! Not only does it repeat it several times, but it helps you memorize the strokes to actually write it out (if you ever need to). Also, it’s not boring or pushy, it’s quite fun! I recommend :)

Good app. I wouldn’t say it’s the best app for learning Japanese, they kind of blow through hiragana and katakana. but it’s a good tool for learning vocabulary when you’re into kanji. The rewards make it fun to keep up with the app every day.

Fundamental and easy. This is great I have been able to get to conversational fluency with this app. It review in different lessons that you learned it in which is also a good feature.

Pretty good. This app is really good for beginners and pros! It gives you time to learn about everything! I really like this app. I would recommend for all ages from 9 and up! Thanks drop! It’s a very fast way of learning in just a week! You’re the best drop!

It’s great.. It’s awesome for a free app. I’ve seen way worse learning programs you have to pay for. It’s nice of the devs to not force you to pay to be able to Learn. tysm! ☺️

I love it. I had used it a few years back and didn’t like it very much, but apparently it has changed quite a lot. I would definitely recommend the current version to anyone willing to improve their Japanese.

Amazing app. Before getting this app and subscribing, ive always had a hard time memorizing words and characters. This app helps a ton with that by going over the same things until its drilled into your head. Very useful

Works Great. I started learning a little bit of the Japanese alphabet in under 5 or so minutes. Great app to learn a language. I love this app and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn something.

So far, so good. I have only just started using this app, but so far I am really enjoying the interactive aspects of this. I find the variety of ways it sets you up to see if you have learned a word to be engaging.

I love the app. The drag and drop feature is faster and more convenient than if I had to type in my answers. I also like the option to skip a new word if I want to.

I just started. As I just started I haven’t gotten really far but I’m not sure if this app teaches you how to read Japanese characters. Although I am Filipino I would like to learn Japanese for fun as I am also working on Taglöhne.

Amazing app. I wanted to learn Japanese so I tried Duolingo but it didn’t help so I tried this one and it made sure that you understand what they’re saying

Love!. This app has helped me a lot with language learning, except I kind of wish that it didn’t teach you food first, but rather the simple Kanji and pronunciation. But otherwise, the five minutes a day is very helpful!

Please fix. I have a few things in the app that need to be repaired! 1. Part of the lesson involves ordering the romanized letters into the word. However, the letters are not broken up into syllables and it is very confusing! 2. I shared the app with 5 people I know and I haven’t got my 20 minutes. It has been over a month since I did this and I’m still waiting to get my extra minutes (my friend actually downloaded the app) and I would like this to be fixed. Thank you so much for reading!

Drops review. Drops gives a constant reminder on what a word means and the pronunciations which is very helpful for a beginner. It also gives a gentle reminder when you get something wrong, making it much less discouraging than most other apps.
