THE APP ISN’T EVEN GOOD My original review: I will billed immediately despite claims that there was a free trial. The app doesn’t do much for the price. Face App and Face Tune are more worth the money. I downloaded this app again (since it forced me to pay for it anyway) to give it another try but it’s just not that good. Add better features and I may give a better review. And billing someone during a free trial period is not very trustworthy behavior. Tsk tsk

Honestly best editing app I've ever tried. This app is honestly a great app. I have maybe 2 complaints and they are very small and fixable. So I was so happy because I was like wow you don't have to pay for anything! I realized there is a subscription you can get but I was even more amaze because the app doesn't shove it in your face and make you pay for everything! The results were very natural unlike some apps I've used. The only thing I didn't really like wa when I used beauty filters and the eyelashes were not really on my eyes. I also am using this for videos and it was a bit slow for videos and froze a lot but that was fine. I'd still rate it 5 stars besides a few other very minor lagging and thing like that definitely recommend this app for anyone who needs a quick touch up on a picture or video thanks for an amazing pretty much free app!

I like it but can't figure out how to get products. I like the app. The Makeup that shows looks natural and like it was really done on your face. However I can't seem to find the products. The main page has products to select however when I try on a look I can't find what products are used. There are a few that I'd like to look at purchasing the eyeshadows or lipstick but can't figure out how to get the actual products brand and colors. That seems a little strange to me so maybe I'm missing something. But overall a fun app. Just wish it was easier to know what products are actually being used.

Good app, predatory subscription. App works pretty well but much of the recommended makeup doesn’t actually come up through the link or when a search is done on the website. Set to renew for a full year instead of a month and very difficult to figure out how to cancel or change the subscription for a new iPhone user. No settings menu or help instructions in the app. Had to do an online search and finally figured it out, a day late. 😒

Best beauty app. I just discovered this app today & used the free version. I’m amazed at all that is available for free & how well this app works. So much so that I thought somehow I had accidentally subscribed, but I didn’t. I don’t remember any trial offer either. If I find out I was subscribed then I’ll come back & change my review. There is one issue though & that is the videos load really slowly or not at all. I’m still giving 5🌟🌟

Evasive and refuses to provide me with info. This app is a scam. I contacted them about a 40 yearly charge and they refuse to provide me with the support for the charge. This app is no use to me when I spend only 100 a year on makeup. They even DELETED my prior review! How is this right or even possible? They could have just resolved this but refuse to do so.

Installed and uninstalled same day. I wanted to like this app. I saw an ad for it on Instagram. I was hopeful. But as with many things heavily advertised, the money is being spent there and not on the product (see more farther down). But then the dark UX started. When you open the app it forces you to decide then and there if you want a 3 day free trial that auto-renews and tells you that if you reject it you’ll never get another chance. Okay... so I rejected the free trial because that’s skeevy AF to the point I took a screenshot of the message to show others. Then I played with the product. It’s a sub-par facetune knock-off that still rides in the uncanny valley of “this is clearly fake” and “this person uses way too many filters on their images.” As a photographer that uses Adobe Lightroom (there’s an App version of this) to edit images, I promise there are *way* better apps out there than the one with VC funding to pump into Instagram ads instead of their engineering department. Go for a higher quality App and ***do not waste your money on this because an ad told you to***

Customer service ?. Hi , I did the 3 days trial and unsubscribed on 3 rd day morning but I still got charged by night . How do I contact customer service for a refund ? I haven’t used the app at all!

Glitchy app & poor customer service. I contacted your support team regarding an app issue on Saturday, April 3rd. I received an automated email response stating you had received it and that a “human” would be in touch with me very soon. Well here it is, Thursday, April 8th, almost a week later and still no response. What’s up with your customer service? I’d be fine airing my grievance with you regarding the bait and switch via this review form. It’s your call.

Pro, premium, Deluxe, so confusing. What’s the difference between Pro, Premium, and Deluxe? I enjoyed my trial and now would like to select a paid version. Unfortunately there is no literature to help me choose! I would appreciate some feedback sharing the difference between the various upgrad options. The camera within VOIR takes better images than my camera ap with or without the many awesome filters.

Unfortunately App Stopped Working Again!. I normally love your app, but unfortunately at times this app simply stops working! I’ve tried to send a few emails to you folks at times to explain what has happened & my Gmail says something like “Sorry, however there’s no such email in existence!” HELP PLEASE! Disappointed. I was charged $41 for this app using the 7 day free trial. I didn’t even realize I would automatically be charged this much especially when there are cheaper subscription options available. After the charge nor Apple or the developer could do anything about. So disappointed.

Pictures. Love my pictures they showed me how I looked with different makeup on!!! But prices for the makeup is too much!!!

Not a free app. Just deleted the app. Read terms and said no subscription or fees. Tried to learn how to use it and it said one more try before I have to pay. Really sneaky and it’s just like Google photos editor with the same exact setup. Just wanted to save some people time and aggravation.

Doesn’t work right. Pay for the app for an Apple iPhone 11 promax and steel tells me I’m not a member or I do not have a membership but yet then I hit the restore and it says no need to because you are a member I got my receipt saying I was charged forgot my receipt from Apple saying I was charge for it and now it’s still trying to charge me again if I want to use the pro feature until then it still has the pro features shut off a big glitch in system . Got all recipt Amd email to show was charge. But not allowed to used pro features cause it says I’m not pro memeber

Automatic Annual Charge. If you’re downloading this for a few fun filters, make sure to read the print whether it’s. Especially if you’re downloading on someone else’s account. It’s an automatic annual charge after your short trial. Not even monthly. They go for the most expensive charge, assuming you now want a full year and then they ignore your emails. Good luck getting your money back. Canceled and deleted. Sad apps do this. If your going to go the trial route with your app, don’t charge people annual when you have monthly options. That’s pretty slimy.

Beware!! It renews automatically with no chance to cancel the subscription!. I really liked the app at the beginning but now I can not cancel the subscription and there is no contact to reach to. It’s really frustrating and a no-go to steal money from users with no chance to cancel!!!

Please give me the option to remove eyelashes. I have looked everywhere to try and remove the eyelashes and it isn’t an option. It makes the pictures look so fake !!!! Please allow me to remove that feature from my pictures. I don’t want eyelashes

The Updates made this app TRASH. I’ve had this app for a little over a year now and I can attest that it’s worse than before. The products have been reduced, the newer versions removed my actual content and everyday faves, they’ve added borderline creepy/scary options and overall the app isn’t worth a penny. I’m actually canceling my subscription as I write this review and you can’t get in contact with no one. If they could bring back my favorite version, I’ll be thrilled. Until then, they won’t receive another red cent from me!

I would like a refund. I tried the 3 day trial, when I decided to cancel it, the app said I could try it for longer and get 30 days FREE before being charged for a year. I was already charged for the year 1-2 days into the 30 days FREE. You shouldn’t have charged me anything until the 30 days were up. I still haven’t decided if I want to pay for the year which is why you offered the 30 days FREE. Guess what it’s not FREE if you charge me for it. So I would like my money back and will not be buying this app, even though I actually do like it. I don’t appreciate false advertisement. I have already asked for a refund from apple. But feel everyone should know that if it says you can get another 30 days FREE, that’s a lie because I was charged the full year 1-2 days into my 30 days free. Thank you.

Don’t bother if you are BLACK. The app does what it promises if you are WHITE. How many shades of white people can you have without consideration for brown/black people. You couldn’t find one black movie star, artist or influencer to include. I had to use the customization tool to get close to my skin color. I deleted it after a few hours. No point wasting money on apps that don’t acknowledge black or brown folks. It’s 2020 for crying out loud and this is unacceptable.

Can’t get past the camera. Upon opening this app it continues to say it needs access to my camera in order to use the app. Usually an app will ask for access and prompt you with ‘yes’ or ‘no’. In this case, the app directs me to go into my phone Settings to give them access. However, there is no camera access indicator for this particular app in settings. Just in case, I have the app permission to access everything and it still says I need to go into settings to grant it camera access. Weird

Not reliable. It works sometimes and then at times it doesn’t. I am in the trial lga sand already had to try uploading and saving one short video at least 10x which was frustrating. Then I've also had to choose several different filters because for the ones that I choose it continues to say can’t find the filter you’ve chosen...🙄😬 3/19 I purchased the app just to give it one more chance and on the first attempt to do a video it uploaded into the app upside down!! That is not how I filmed it...please help! Deleted app and reinstalled and still uploads video upside down... I would like a refund please!

Can’t save settings???. Wow this app is amazing, but it’s effed up that you can’t save your settings!!!!! It takes forever to get everything just right, and then it’s all just gone once you close the app. The ability to save settings would make this app an easy five stars.

Complications. I’ve been a loyal user to this app for the last 2 years. Everything worked great until recently. All of a sudden, my filters weren’t loading. All I kept seeing was a red arrow and as many times as I kept re-installing it, it doesn’t seem to work. Help?!!! This is the only app I can count on and it’s not working now.

No Support?. I loved this app but then suddenly nothing loads- you can still use the basic face filter but no more makeup options, no more backgrounds, no more effects. When I click to report a problem the email associated is not working and my email bounces back.

Moving Target. This as not an app to touch up your makeup on a selfie. It just shows what is in front of the screen moving continuously. Try correcting makeup on a moving target of anything but a selfie. If it wasn’t sad, it would be funny. I did not see it have a cost on it’s app page. No cost whatsoever. Return my money Apple, again.

Help!. I signed up for the free trial and like a lot of people here ended up paying the yearly membership. My membership is about to expire and I want to make sure it doesn’t get renewed. I went to the App Store, and unlike all of the apps that I’m subscribed to, this one doesn’t give me the option to cancel the membership. It only gives me renewal options. My question is... if I don’t click on any of those options, will my membership automatically get canceled or will it charge me again the yearly membership fee once the time is up?. I do NOT want to renew this membership!

Best makeup app ever. Definitely buying the subscription it totally seems worth the money it really really is some kind of magic thank you so much to the developers/creators of this app. Sometimes we run out of money or the store closes too soon and we run into makeup troubles at times, this app is like a lifesaver and it helps boost your self esteem. real neat!

Very bad. It does not let you change your makeup it just keeps loading and does not let you add the makeup to your looks and all the other stuff it just keeps loading

Too often won’t load or work. I absolutely love this app when it works. In fact, I would give it five stars if it always worked. But more than half of the times that I want to use it it doesn’t work it doesn’t load. I wish this app would work consistently.

Hefty auto recharge without warning!. I received a charge of $41 on my card and within the hour, I tried to manage my subscriptions but it was irreversible with no ability to reach customer service. Daylight robbery 😡 i understand if it’s a couple bucks but for them to put you on their most expensive plan is ridiculous!!!

Stopped working :/. I used to love this app, but it no longer works. None of the filters will display or apply. I checked that I’m on the latest version and even deleted and reinstalled it. Sad, because even the free one used to allow for some really fun looks.

Shuts Down on Me. I LOVE this app but recently every time I take a picture or make a video it shuts down when I hit the button to stop recording and I lose my entire video. Not sure what’s going on since I paid for the subscription. Hopefully it will be fixed soon

Expensive. Crazy expensive. What a rip off. Given it is advertising products to the users, I am questioning why the cost of the app is so high.

Accidental purchase. Same thing happened to me. Beware once the trial version is finished and if you haven’t removed this app, clicking into will automatically open the renewal option. Then touching the home button on your phone to get out of app is also the option to purchase on Apple iTunes if you have purchases set up this way. Trying to get a refund through the app says you’re not entitled to one. This is very annoying as generally once a trial period is completed, to purchase you would normally go into your iTunes account and select the contract period and purchase from there.

amazing! very realistic make up. the make up is so real except eyelashes are a bit fake (could you please improve it) also i wish i could choose the lash length and shape. But overall a good app, a little expensive, considering you possibly also make money when we click products and buy it. One thing i really like is that when you close your eyes the eye shadow don’t move and looks so real. Goof job! ❤️❤️ oh it also does occasionally crash when you use the customise makeup

Surprisingly amazing!. Even though you have to pay for the VIP it’s amazing you can still try on VIP stuff for free! I loved how it looked SOO realistic! This app is amazing because I was planning to dye my hair blue but I didn’t know how I looked in it so I found this ad on Instagram for this app and I tried it out. This app is amazing! If you haven’t downloaded this app yet your missing out on all the fun! It’s also amazing for little kids who want to look like their favourite cartoon character. Enjoying but need help with video. I’m really enjoying this app. My problem is the live video segments are only 3 minutes long and then if I try to import a video it integrates with filters and then won’t save. I can’t find any info - would love some assistance.

Angry about clarity of deleting. I deleted my app and did my best to remove it as it clearly wasnt working on my phone. The features looked very fake compared to the display photos and I couldnt access the settings to modify anything. Due to this I didn’t want to pay near $60 for the years subscription, however today my account was charged anyway. Not Happy. Very misleading....Why make the customer pay a second time before even using the app? The $40 downloading charge should include some basic filters for God’s sake.

Auto subscription. If you don’t read the fine print (I don’t recall even seeing it) you’ll be charged $37.99 for a years subscription! After trying to get a refund, I found that there is an option for a monthly $9.99 auto subscription, which would be much less of a blow to someone that may have missed that information, instead of automatically charging them for a full year. Shady practice.

Scam. This app charges insane amounts of money to use and nowhere does it say that before downloading (it says there are in app purchases, yes, but not that you have to pay to use the product at all). Misleading, dishonest and outrageous. According to the reviews of other users who say their card was debuted even if they cancel within the 7 day trial period, there is nooooo way I’m even clicking that. Useless.

Canceling the subscription. U can cancel the subscription by entering from the laptop into the apple account at report a problem. And there you will find the “ cancel subscription”.

Horrible app and the trial isn’t free save your money. Worst app I’ve ever used!! I wanted to use the trial but they charged me immediately upon downloading the app. No three day trial... it’s a scam. I contacted them and they refused to refund my money. This app makes me look uglier than IRL. I look much better when I apply my own makeup and take photos. This app made me so ugly, there was no point in keeping it on my phone. I would rather go on Snapchat and use their makeup filters.

Awful. App says it has 4.3 stars out of five, but almost all of the reviews are only 1 or 2 stars It’s way too expensive, and people are obviously getting charged/having a hard time unsubscribing, yet they haven’t changed that at all because it’s making them money. Don’t waste your time, it’s like 40$ you will be charged for downloading it

This app stole from me!!. I opted for a free trial, tried the app and didn’t like it so I immediately went to cancel the subscription 5 mins later, and they charged me for a whole year!!!! I am so mad. $60 for a crapy app. I want my money back!!!!

Okay. The app works well. The filters are great excepted if you have another eye colour than blue/grey. How am I supposed to figure myself in other looks if it changes my eye colour? Not sure about the price but if your eyes are blue, it is good app I guess. It is well done, great features, user friendly.

Loads slow, and screen glitches. The app loads very slow. Loading wheel just spins. The screen jumps or pulsates, wheter in still or video. The support email bounces so you cant get help.
