Doesn’t show all choice available. The app doesn’t always show all the options available when searching products. Also, order fulfillment is sparse. Staff don’t replace item with alternatives, even when selecting replacements allowed. I always end up going to Shaws after just to complete my shopping list!

Slow and Buggy. I honestly just wish Hannaford would go back to paper coupons or something. The app half the time doesnt even remember you loaded coupons, resulting in adjustments and slow check out times. It crashes all the time and is very slow to load. Not to mention it takes multiple tries and reloads judt to get it to even open the coupon section. Typically it just crashes on the front page of the app.

Stop!! With required log in!!. I have never had any major issues with this app aside from having to clip my coupons a few hours before going to store or they will not be there!!!! Erh ! Well now my problem is the the need for me to log in every time I use the reward section or check coupons!!!🤦🏽‍♀️😡 come on!!!!! This section is the reason I have the app!! Stop requiring a log in!! Go back to previous way!!...who wants to use key pad in a pandemic!!!!!

Super slow. This apps purpose is great and I use it a lot but it is very frustrating how long it takes to load and switch pages. Soooooooo slowwwwwwww please make it so it’s quick to use and not 30 seconds just to load the coupon page. I will change my review once it speeds up and is as quick as every other app out there. I use this app weekly and order Togo all the time. Please make it faster

SUPER laggy. I like the layout of the app but it is SO SLOW and laggy it makes it impossible to make a pickup order. They’ve updated many times and it still hasn’t fixed the lag issues in this app(and no it’s not my Wi-Fi). Gosh forbid I want to add something to my cart real quick while I’m thinking of it, it’ll take a solid 5 min just to open the app/search and add item. Really hope they fix all these app issues because it’s a great concept

Very Slow with Update. The latest update makes this app worse than internet explorer. With every tap, you see a progress circle that turns and also times out with errors. The fact that logins are not persistent is also problematic. Turn on an app pin or Touch ID if you want to add a layer of security, but requiring login so frequently makes Hannaford my least favorite store to shop since I show my digital card at checkout each purchase.

Not user friendly. This App is so hard to use. It’s slow and difficult to use. The Wegmans store app is much better and much more user friendly. I just want to search for groceries and make a list-that I don’t have to name every time. Also, if you’ve put an item on your list before, it shows up as if it’s on your current list, but it’s not. I really do not like this app. In addition, the photos never load, which makes making the list much more difficult. Also, items should be grouped by aisle numbers. Ugh, this app is just so bad.

Annoying. I find this app much more difficult to use for ordering groceries than the store I previously used. It’s glitchy, very slow, and tends to freeze. When I attempt to search for items, it often presents me with a blank screen and I have to scroll up quite a ways to get the search bar. Once it searches there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the ordering of items.

Good app, could be better. The search option and the ease to access my account info is nice. My issue is not being able to see that image of what I am buying. Also there seems to be a disconnect when I try to log in, some reason the login feature doesn’t connect to my phone’s password vault where I have Hannafords password already saved.

App difficulties. Buying brand-name or specific items is very difficult to find with in your app. In addition, when shopping off the ad if there’s different vendors in the ad (picture) your website directs your consumer to only one of the two vendors for example.... when I tapped on your this weeks ad for Marie calendars macaroni and cheese it only showed the other brand name not what I wanted. I have purchased many items that I did not want, but the descriptions are very similar to what I did want ...because there was no pictures provided.

Rewards are awesome, but app is terrible. The rewards are really fantastic. The app itself is very clunky. Load times are often terrible and at times don’t load at all. I often have to repeatedly close the app and reopen multiple times to get anything to load. It definitely leads to a lot of frustration when trying to access it in a busy moment.

Great service. This has been a wonderful service during COVID. The experience with both of the delivery people (Chris and Ryanna)that have come to my home have been exceptional. They both went above and beyond and I hope they can be rewarded or recognized in some way. Thank you

Extremely slow. I want to love this app but it takes me over 20 min to place my order when all I have to do is click down my shopping list or previous purchases. Each click I have to wait. God forbid I need more then one banana. I have to wait to add. I often take the day to place an order as I don’t have time to do in one sitting.. We are several years in. There is really no excuse for it to be like this. Please fix this!!!!!

Tedious. Constantly signs me out. After logging in, it continues to say “log in for personalized coupons”. Links to coupons from email requires me to search the entire list of coupons to find the one from my email. Trying to access the app while shopping to look up coupons that I clipped is so incredibly frustrating that I either won’t buy things or more recently just shop elsewhere.

Good but slow. I love everything thing this app does. However, the app is very slow, which is frustrating. I would also love to see a feature where I could scan a barcode of an item in my home to add it to my shopping cart.

Hannafords Horrified!. Hannafords app has become something out of a science fiction movie. I use to love having my groceries delivered. No service fees for delivery. No tip unless you want to trip your driver. Tried to place order today. No openings until next Wednesday to have ur food delivered. Plus a 10$ service plus another 5$ tip. I’m disabled on a budget. They just lost another customer I will never shop wit them ever again!

Good useful app. I like that it tells me which aisle things are in. Sometimes the scrolling doesn’t work in clipped coupons. Swiping up through clipped just bounces on the two or three coupons visible. Eventually it releases and you can see them all but usually it takes leaving the coupons or app and coming back.

Coupon Scrolling is broken on iPhone XS. I’m unable to scroll past the first page of coupons in any capacity as the app keeps pulling the page back up to the top. I can get around this by turning the phone upside down so the app rotates 180 degrees. I also tried deleting the app and reinstalling and it didn’t work. So app developer monitoring this page, please come up with a different solution. I’m not sure if the 1800 phone number you keep pasting is your direct line but it seems like a poor excuse for fixing the bugs.

Necessary evil. I use the app to load my coupons and do my pick up order. App is generally slow and glitchy. Easily frustrated by the app not opening only popping up a "loading" screen with no response. Another annoyance is the quantity add or subtract button is not immediately responsive so I end up accidentally adding or removing too many items while waiting for the app to catch up!

Consistently a cut above!. Every time our family orders from Hannaford, they always have what we need and fresh. Sometimes , the occasional item is out of stock, but that rarely happens and their customer service, shoppers & drivers are super friendly.

Originally a 3 star. I had originally rated the Hannaford app a 3 star because it was super laggy and wouldn’t load the images of products after just a few minutes of browsing. Hannaford actually reached out to me and said to delete and reinstall the app and it’s 1000% better! So definitely a 5 star for the wonderful customer service and the great working app.

Slow, crashes and never works. I get beyond frustrated trying to use this app. I’ve had it since it came out and the amount of bugs and poor loading times drives me insane. It’s always terminally loading, whether I’m on wifi, or on cellular work full service. Sometimes it will open to a blank white page. The click delay is awful. “Coupons” never opens, and every time I try “delivery” it gives a “proxy error” and I can’t add anything to my cart. Most of the time it doesn’t register when I’m trying to open one of the tabs. This app needs a huge upgrade for user experience because all it gives me is headache and frustration. Every time I open it, I get more and more angry at it because it never works. It makes me want to not shop at Hannaford.

App not fully working. For weeks this app has been working perfectly, I’m very thankful for this capability and it has literally been a lifesaver in regards to groceries being readily available for someone who doesn’t have a car. Starting last week the app has stopped working. I am unable to click on departments as well as the top menu. I am able to click on and open my Hannaford rewards on the bottom and view them. Truly hoping it gets fixed soon.

Needs improvement. The app has been freezing and crashing a lot lately (I did uninstall it and reinstall it and it still does it). When it does work, the layout is nice but you should be able to quickly look up the aisle directory and where things are. A digital receipt option would be nice to have. The coupons don’t always load right and it constantly kicks me out.

How can an app perform so poorly. The app is slow to load, slow to download offers and whenever I make a purchase from a coupon I clipped 30 to 45 minutes ago, it is not acknowledged at checkout and the store employee always says “ sorry, it can take some time!” Really??!! Does everyone plan a trip to the store a day in advance to use the coupon. I do not experience this through other grocers apps that I use just before entering the store

Need iPad version soon. Having an iPhone version on my iPad makes it very difficult to use the keyboard. As an older person (who does online shopping and curbside pick up), I really need to use the larger keyboard. Please get the iPad version working soon! Until then, I won’t be using the app.

EPIC FAIL with new update! What happened?. This app used to work fairly well even though there was definitely room for improvement. This latest update does nothing but buffer and crash all the time. And it isn't correctly taking off coupons like it used to either. Has Shaw's taken over your programming? (I say that because the Shaw's app NEVER applies coupons and errors all the time)

Don’t like new features. I have loved this app and program until just recently. There is now a chat bar at the top of the page that doesn’t allow me to see the top of the page or access my cart. Also when you click on the bar to access chat, it doesn’t do anything. Really frustrated with this because I am sick and can’t just go shopping in store so I was hoping to order to-go groceries to get medicine and food. Guess I will try somewhere else :(

Glitches on glitches. Super glitchy. I had to restart the app 8 times while putting together a grocery order, and then it wouldn’t let me check out because of a “gateway error”. I spent 30 minutes trying to check out before just going on the computer and doing it on the website, which was much quicker and easier (and actually worked).

Slow and buggy. Similarly to others, I never write app reviews but I simply had to for this one. It takes the app ages to load literally anything, and oftentimes I find myself having to press the same directives multiple times in order for the app to respond. It functions especially poorly on cellular data, if at all. I typically have no problems with any apps or the minor frustrations they cause, however this app is unusable a majority of the time.

App. Love the app! Easy to clip coupons and see what I am saving. I use to-go for quite often and the only complaint with ordering is the search bar. If I do not know the name of the specific item it won’t pull anything up. I wanted the hannaford brand of a certain snack but did not know what hannaford calls it. I could find the name brand but it didn’t show me similar items.

Needs improvement, but has potential. I’m a frequent shopper at hannaford. The biggest complaint I have about this app is that it’s very slow. It definitely needs performance improvements. Everything takes a long time to load. I would love to see an actual map integrated in the app based on which store you’re at it would Be a useful tool when trying to locate things.

Has a few bugs.. I like the concept and ordering to go pick ups, but the app will often hide the pictures and I can’t see the item I’m ordering. It also won’t let me scroll and I’ll get stuck until it decides to let me again. Would love it if these bugs got fixed. A brief description of each item might also be useful to add. And as someone from a family with allergies and dietary restrictions, this app definitely helps with planning and making lists.

Excellent interface, horrendously slow. The interface is very intuitive and nice to use, but it takes forever to load anything and half the time it ends in error. I have to remember to open “My hannaford rewards” multiple minutes before I check out otherwise I’ll be waiting for it in line. If they can fix these issues it will be a wonderful app

Buggy & Poor integration with iPhone. After most recent app upgrade, I regularly encounter an endless spinning wheel, which requires closing the app to continue. Also very slow since app upgrade. Makes me log in each time I place an order and doesn’t integrate with Apple’s password vault so the checkout process takes much longer than necessary. Can’t edit billing address - after clicking “edit” the screen attempts to show the editable fields, then closes again so no changes can be made. Unnecessary clicks in several places - if you want to edit your existing order it takes 3 clicks. No need for an “are you sure?” as it would t hurt anything if I clicked “edit” by mistake.

App has been lacking. App has been lacking after last two updates. I hate updating because it was working fine until I updated and now I can’t get it to connect at the store and it keeps logging me out. Stick a fork in me I’m done! At the register in store it doesn’t enter my rewards account only at times when I’ll save over 20 dollars because of coupons. What a scam! They won’t fix it or acknowledge it either. What happened to customer service?

Bugged out. The features of the app are fine and overall user friendly. However- it is the glitchiest ap on my phone. Often takes multiple tries to do whatever my goal was on opening the ap. Often pics won’t load with the products if you’re trying to order groceries which has lead to some items I had no use for in my bag(turns out the description doesn’t specify between canned or fresh) would be a perfectly good ap if it only worked

Ok app. Since new update clipped coupons do not clear and remain “available” in the clipped coupons section. Previously they dropped off after a few hours of use. This creates confusion - “did I use this yet?” I find the meter when opening app annoying. Don’t know why we need to know how long it will take to load the app these days; it should be practically instant. App still heads above the new Shaws app, which is an epic fail. Don’t go there, Hannaford.

Much improved but sign-in issue. This app has steadily improved and I appreciate the shopping list features and knowing which products are eligible for coupons. However, I am constantly asked to sign in AND the app does not save/pull the details from Google passwords. So I have to re-enter my information (almost) every time I use the app.

Needs Work!. The Rewards Program works and it’s great. But this app is very frustrating. It’s very laggy, non responsive at times, and makes you frustrated to use it. I’ve saved a great deal of money because of Hannaford Rewards and am thankful for it but this app needs work. There are no other apps on my phone that have this bad of an user interface problem. Scrolling can be hit or miss, pages won’t load, trying to open different pages is very laggy.

Login Required Obnoxious. With the last update we are required to log in just to look at our rewards or current clipped coupons. That would be okay if the app either “remembered” my log in or would use biometrics to log me in. Instead I have to type in my long email address and then try to remember this week’s password. Not something I want to do while standing in an aisle during a pandemic. Please fix this.

Love the store HATE the app. Literally love Hannaford biggest fan of the store the products and the people. I dread using the app to do my grocery shopping, it’s awful. Constantly (I mean every 5 seconds) freezes and spins and the search bar leaves something to be desired. I sometimes just order from target for pickup because the app is so much more Effective and user friendly. Please get a better team on this app and it’s development because what you have now is not doing the trick

Unable to access app. I have not been able to access the app since early last year. Following the link to reset user and password have not worked at all. I even sent an email to customer support as I am unable to use my rewards. I tried removing the app and reinstalled but still giving me errors😩

Not at all user-friendly. The layout of this app makes no sense; coupons are not grouped logically and it’s not easy to navigate overall. Most of the time it simply stagnates on the loading screen, at which point I have to uninstall, reinstall, and log in again. If I can log in and want to browse coupons, I can’t scroll down past the page fold. Coupon text is often mislabeled and doesn’t match the picture of the item. Needs to be thoroughly overhauled by app developers who know what they’re doing.

Working out the bugs slowly but surely. The Dev team has been great hearing my feedback. I gave the new scrolling style a fair chance, but ultimately it’s just annoying and unnecessary. I should be able to put my finger anywhere below the header and above the footer to initiate scrolling, like before. I appreciate the continued work on the app, as I am a big fan of Hannaford Rewards.

S-L-O-….. W…. Still loading. The slowest app I use. This app is only good for the Hannaford members rewards only coupons. Otherwise it is excruciatingly slow, I feel like we’re back in AOL messenger days I’m expecting to hear the beeps while it takes 3 minutes to open a page. Plus it’s just a bad app - take a look at almost any other grocery store where I actually can click on the product on the weekly ad and see if there a coupon available - this is not available on the Hannaford app.

Needs work. Freezes up a lot when searching for products but doesn’t allow user to cancel search or stop search. Every screen should have an exit for the user or a way for the user to tell the app to stop trying to load something that isn’t working. Developers need to add a way for user to stop the search & go back to menu, the retry button gets user stuck.

Why is it sooooo slllloooowwww?!?. I am not sure why it takes forever for this app to load but it lags bad. It typically takes anywhere from 10-30 seconds after a page loads before I can do anything on the screen. Scroll, tap, change quantity. It is soo freaking slow. I end up getting frustrated and go to my desktop to shop. None of my other apps does this. Devs need to fix this.

Painfully slow…freezes up nearly EVERY. TIME.. There are many things I love about this app… Saving master lists, adding items from weekly flyer to cart – most importantly — ordering from Hannaford To Go. BUT… The functionality is ridiculous. App is slow, hitchy, and crashes with maddening regularity. Beyond aggravating, especially because I count on this app to do most of my grocery shopping. Takes what would otherwise be a five star review all the way down to one star.

So buggy I can’t use it. Every time I open this app, a pop-up asks me to create a new account. (I have an account, I’m logged in.) I can’t clip coupons, I can’t change any information, I can’t access my rewards. Every thing I try to do is met with the pop-up asking for a new account, or a pop-up saying there is an error and my request can’t be processed. I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded multiple times. Such a bummer because I want to use this service and I just can’t.
