NESN 360 Comments & Reviews 2024

💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Developers. With all the complaints and no answer from the developers tells me that this app is not worth the aggravation . It’s a real shame that Boston fans have to have cable or go to other streaming platforms to watch games. When we have Nesn New England sports network that can’t even get their app to work . It’s just an excuse to team up with cable companies because of the greed. I use to love to watch baseball but I can do without watching it every night saves me a lot of money not having cable.

Won’t work on the road. I wanted to watch the Sox game on my ride back to Mass from NYC. When I tried, I learned that it won’t work in Fairfield County, CT, which includes Stamford. No big deal. I could wait until New Haven (New Haven County). Didn’t work there either. Or in Hartford. Or north of Hartford. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. Nothing. Not reliable when traveling. Works fine on smart TV at home but this isn’t why I got this service. Fix it or fix your promise!

Just ok. Cheaper than getting DIRECTV streaming for the months of hockey but like Fubo, the lag time and constant fuzziness is annoying. Hated Fubo because of the picture quality and this is the same. I do like that I’m able to get ruins games with a cheaper price but the picture quality isn’t there on the tv. It streams great through the app on my iPhone, not sure what the difference is. All in all it’s ok.

Good, with a suggestion. Can we get this app added to the Watch Now section of the Apple TV app? TV broadcasting (especially sports) is fragmented across multiple broadcasters. I use Watch Now as aggregate. NESN isn’t in there yet, so it’s more work to watch games on that network. I’d love to see that feature added.

Not working at all. Purchased on April 2nd via Roku. Have Roku devices on all my televisions. The app infrequently works at all and only inconsistently on my iPad. I’ve tried resetting system, signing out, and deleting the app which only was allowed once. Now it’s not even an option. Called customer support and spoke with Nichol who acknowledged an issue with the app on Roku devices. Per his direction I recorded a video of how when I select the Red Sox game it just never comes on. Nichol said a developer would get back to me and that was four days ago. Not a peep. I’m a Red Sox fan no matter how unlikely it is that they will be competitive but this app is trash and the complete lack of customer service is disappointing. I was even directed to contact Roku if I wanted any money back which I never asked to receive.

Almost there But not quite. After two years of trying to use this app it’s still not ready for prime time. Currently when I use it on my Roku TV I get a message telling me my travel limit has been reached And to sign in from New England to stream live content. I live just outside Hartford Connecticut and I use Cox communications which is based in Rhode Island. last time I checked those are both in New England. When I walk into my other room and use the app on my Apple TV box connected to the same Wi-Fi network as my Roku TV, it works fine. I guess the border for New England is right between my family room and living room. Please fix this

Good app, needs some work. Love the app in premise and in practice, however, each time you select a video, whether it be a replay or a live stream, you get a 5-second pop-up ad for NESN. Is this ad really necessary? I mean, if you are already paying for NESN steaming services, is it really necessary to pepper the consumer with more advertising for the same product they’ve already purchased? The ad itself isn’t the problem, it’s the fact that I often find myself staring at the thing waiting to load for a minute or more, meanwhile there’s a game being played. It might make more sense to just overlay a small “Nesn 360” logo on the stream itself, rather than have the app lock up every time you select a video… my 2¢.

Broken. I’ve never written an app review before, but this app is absolutely broken. Every time I try to click on something, I have to press it 5 or 6 times for there to be any feedback or response. On top of that, I pay for NESN in my cable package, but that doesn’t seem to matter anymore as now I have to pay for an additional subscription on top of that. Finally, because of wear I live, I can no longer watch Red Sox/Yankees games because NESN decided to have blackout restrictions. Fix it. Do better.

Years in the making. Years later and the app & website performance (iPhone/ipad/Apple TV/fire stick - doesn’t matter) is still completely unacceptable. I’m logged out seemingly every other day and there is always an issue logging back in. Either the website doesn’t load correctly, it has an error authenticating xfinity, or I just can’t log in at all. I might be able to watch 50% of the content I try to, at best. Just doesn’t make sense that every streaming platform in existence doesn’t have these issues, besides NESN.

It’s not that hard to figure out where “New England” is. So I bought this service after being fed up with Directv’s absurd prices, and while it at least loaded on my Apple TV, the iPhone app wouldn’t play because I was “outside New England” (I am not). Automatic dealbreaker if I can’t watch on my phone, so I cancelled. Like another commenter I’m right outside Hartford CT and I tried on WiFi, data, redownloaded the app, and nothing. NESN even has a site where they tell you if you’re in the service region based on your location - they got my location right, but said it’s not within New England! What?! And no I’m not going to contact customer service because I already did and it was clear they were not going to help me fix this issue, only blame it on the internet provider. YOU, NESN, should contact your own product development team to fix this app because there are plenty of people like me who want to pay this price for a working app but they’re not because it’s broken. You are throwing away free money here and I find that embarrassing. Please… you’ve got 4 months or so until baseball starts again so you should probably make the most of that time and work out these issues. Spring Training Edit: Hi NESN, I would literally be purchasing a subscription TODAY if your app worked but it appears it’s still broken, so I’m gonna have to get DIRECTV instead. Leaving money on the table here guys.

NESN 360 AppleTV app: 10-second audio delay. Only in Apple TV app, not iOS app: there is a persistent delay in all Red Sox game audio feeds: launch RS game feed; T-Mobile commercial loads with audio/video in perfect sync; then game video loads, 10 seconds pass, then audio cuts in, synced to where the video started 10 seconds ago. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I guess I could watch the games with sound down - or cancel my subscription, which I’ve done. It’s absurdly frustrating. Astonishing how many companies grind out Apple TV apps with lousy QC. It’s not the same platform as iOS, test for both!! So disappointing, it’s otherwise a nice idea but this is a dealbreaker.

$30 a month is robbery. This app fails in pretty much every function. I am going into my second year using it and have never once had a seamless experience watching a Bruins game (which is the sole reason I pay for it). It never seems to work properly and load games, and when it does it is laggy and glitchy. They do not have an app on Samsung smart TV’s so I need to use the internet on the TV and it tells me I am not in the correct region (I live 3 miles from TD Garden). While trying to re-subscribe to this sham (because it’s the only viable option I have), I get a notification nonstop that an error has occurred and I cannot subscribe. A failing application, that charges an exorbitant amount for minimal return. NESN knows that their streaming service is the only option for true fans to watch the Bruins, and they exploit that to the fullest. It is sad.

Great idea, marred by bugs. We have encountered the dreaded 4K HDR bug. It refuses to launch and says my TV isn’t compatible. I disagree, especially considering it’s worked in the very recent past. I love the ability to just watch a Bruins or Sox game, but part of the fun is being able to enjoy it at top quality. You charge a premium price, and it should work flawlessly every time. It doesn’t, and it’s VERY frustrating.

Freezes every day at 8PM. Before subscribing, I read several negative reviews about the live stream freezing at 8PM. Initially, I dismissed these complaints as exaggerated—I had never encountered a video streaming service with such a specific issue. However, to my surprise, the stream indeed freezes every day at 8PM. When this happens, I spend about five minutes trying to restore the service by force-closing the app and restarting my phone. It seems there are a few certainties in life: the sun rising each morning, the changing ocean tides, and NESN360 freezing at 8PM.

No Sox in Arkansas. I don’t write reviews. I just don’t. Until now. We have Fubo TV because it was a valid tv provider for NESN. We have watched the Red Sox and Bruins on NESN for years, since Hazel Mae, y’all. App quit working on the smart TV because ‘travel limit has been exceeded’ and I need to sign in from NE. Seriously, they don’t want non-regional viewers? At least the app still works on the iPad and phone, right? Um…no. Not any more. Oh well…time to delete the app and send my Jimmy Fund contribution to St. Jude. It was great while it lasted. I’d rate 0 stars given the option.

$30 for a streaming service is insane. I don’t know why but I fork over the outrageous cost to watch my Bruins. Having to pay as much for this service as I do for 3 other services that have much more content is pathetic. NESN has us by the junk though. They charge this because they know we love our team so much we will pay for. It’s not hard to find a another way to make money and drop the cost of the app. If it’s really necessary then why don’t the pats or the celts do it? Greedy John Henry, et al, at it again.

Chromecast Constantly Broken. Every time this app gets updated, Chromecast support somehow gets worse. Even though Chromecast is officially supported with a button in the player, at the instant I attempt to stream to a Chromecast Ultra, both my TV and the app go black and the Chromecast needs to be reset. This has been broken since October with <50% success (sometimes it randomly works after repeated attempts?). When I called Customer Support to see if there was something I could do, the best advice given was "use a Roku or Apple TV." This is a paid subscription service. Really? I love NESN and the 4K is industry-leading, but this is always frustrating- particularly when the best advice is "buy another streaming device."

Don’t waste your money. Trying to watch some games are unbearable. It will randomly freeze with a black screen and the pause symbol in the lower corner. Tonight’s game against the Capitals was completely pixelated and blurry. Could barely see the puck. You would think the product would be better paying an absurd $20 a month. Will be glad once hockey is over so I can cancel this garbage. Watched YoutubeTV and Peacock with no problems. What a waste of money.

It’s not worth it. Clearly this app was rushed out of development and into production to keep up with the Jones’ of the industry. Hyper-sensitive controls during playback caused issues. I recently subscribed and my first B’s game vs MTL elected to play the game from the beginning. After two periods, I had to pause for a couple of minutes. I came back, and pressed play and the app went down. There was no place to recover where I left off. There is no option to rewatch the entire game also. You need to watch live or play from beginning without touching the remote the entire time. I was hoping to hunker down and enjoy a game for a couple of hours. I could only watch the game summary lasting a couple of minutes. My second game was tonight vs PHI. Accidentally exited the app, and had no place to revert back to. I had to watch Bruins in two, having already seen most of the game and knowing the final result. I really wish it was better, but $30 per month is lunacy. The 24 hr programming is below average at best. I’m canceling for sure.

Terrible app and service. Games have terrible lag and skip constantly. App doesn’t provide the ability to watch games on-demand, which NESN say on its website is included in the $300+ dollar standard package. Contacted NESN about this and they said it was a “planned upgrade.” Fast-forward and rewind functions have been broken since we purchased 2 weeks ago. Horrific experience and customer service, makes me wish I still had cable.

Overpriced subscription, lacking the most basic options!. At $30/mo for NESN+, the price is OUTRAGEOUS. I’m paying more than $2 per Bruins game, because that’s all there is to watch as the other programs are mediocre. What’s worse, is if you turn off the game then it’s GONE the next morning. No finishing the 3rd or OT over coffee, maybe you’ll get lucky and Bruins in 2 will be on, but don’t bank on it. What you CAN see, right on the front page, is the score of the game that you didn’t get to finish! Terrible, awful, embarrassing, abysmal product. Go B’s!

Worst app I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. I get NESN 360 through my Xfinity account, the app on my Roku doesn’t seem to know that though. After the link never working, I just did it on my laptop and now it finally works. But on my account on my Roku still, even though the lock icon is gone, it keeps making me sign in. But this time there’s no link, or when the link does appear, there’s nothing on the site when I go to it. If I sign in on one device, just make it work on all devices I’m signed in on. It’s not that hard.

Super Buggy. Kicks you out of the broadcast at random times. When you attempt to go back in you often get the spinning/buffering thing with no end, so you have to go back out and do it yet again. Then, when you do succeed at rejoining, it makes you watch an ad before rejoining the broadcast that it kicked you out of. Just missed the ending of an OT game because of this. Would be bad if it were free, let alone $30/month

serious airplay lag. Update: was having an issue with no bruins tickets left for the promotional ticket giveaway for the annual plan. called nesn and they said they were escalating the issue and was an issue on bruins end and they opened up more tickets. if having an issue with claiming the tickets before 10/29 end of promotion call support. they were helpful and they picked up the phone calls surprisingly fast. the technology however … the last app was laggy and skipped all the time. i bought the YEAR of 360 at the start of bruins season and used the hdmi cable from the ipad which worked fine. iphone airplay is laggy/choppy at best. but not for airplay of regular nesn content. just for live games. for this much money you’d think they’d get the tech right. and it doesn’t seem like they make any apps for smart tvs and where’s the apple tv app? i’ll increase to 3 stars because the support help on the phone was nice and understanding after i called and she indicated they were working on getting smart tv apps and apple tv. but nobody wants to watch the hockey games solely on their phone or tether their phone to the tv.

Can’t watch a complete game. Tried to watch live and taped bruins games and have had nothing but trouble on this app. I’ve lost three games because they’re playback doesn’t work properly. Can’t watch games without it reverting to the beginning and forcing me to watch it live. Customer service was no help. Definitely not worth it. Very unfortunate and you’d think in this day and time they wouldn’t have these types of issues. Game over for me! Lost my business forever NESN!

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Downloaded and now am subscribed to $30 a month to watch bruins games. I get serious lag during games. God forbid if I pause it to do something for a few minutes. The option to watch from the beginning is nonexistent because when I do try to it goes live. I have great internet so that’s not the issue. This app isn’t worth $5.99 a month nevermind $30. I’ve pretty much have had enough and cancelled my subscription. Shame on NESN with all they have done charging so much even to have the package on cable. Get your ——/ together before you rip off all us fans of New England sports.

I guess…. I mean, it works okay with some intermittent sound syncing issues, but that’s something I can suffer to not have to pay for conventional cable. That said, they advertise on-demand replay, but for the life of me I can’t find that feature on the app or desktop version. This is a big consideration for me, as I initially purchased the service for this feature given it’s rare I have time to watch Sox games live. Not sure how NESN is getting away with what feels a little like false advertising…

Horrible App. It may be expensive, but at least you’ll have the pleasure of having to close and reopen it at least a dozen times over the course of a nine inning game. So it’s got that going for it. It’s the bottom of the 5th right now and I’ve restarted it at least 8 times. Oh… and every once in a while it’ll randomly tell you that you’re outside the range of where it works (I’m in western MA), but don’t worry- just reload the page 7-10 times and it’ll let you watch. $30/month just doesn’t get you what it used to.

Poor performance. The app is barely useable on my Fire Stick. It will work well for maybe a half hour then just starts repeating the same 15 seconds over and over and over and over in an endless loop. It’s happened ever since I signed up. The only fix is to restart the Fire Stick. Not worth the hassle for how expensive this is. I tried this service a year ago and had similar technical difficulties. Things have NOT improved. I have Gigabit Internet. The problem is not on my end. I don’t know why NESN has to be so difficult. Why can’t they work out a deal with Dish Network. It will solve so many problems and they could scrap this streaming service. The only reason it exists is due to NESN’s unwillingness to negotiate with many TV services. So disappointing and comes down to greed on NESN’s part.

Needs work!. So the iPhone app seems ok but the Apple TV app is pretty naff. Considering the cost it needs to be flawless. Cable or something like fubo works fine.. but constantly greeted with “oops seems to be no connection” test connection just under 1gb and everything else works…(inc all other Apple TV apps) have to restart the app for it to kick in again. Extremely annoying when you miss important game action. It would also help if they allowed airplay from the iPhone app. But tbh I’d rather they just fix the tv app so it’s watchable.

Honest opinion. This app…is weird but good. The glitches, wonky pausing and “not in New England” issues make you rip out your hair… BUT being able to watch a sox game anywhere is awesome or listening to the beautiful one sided bruins broadcast rather than some national broadcast makes it worth it. I hope NESN fixes the issues and creates some good content thats worth the high cost. (Nesn 360 redsox broadcast done by bill burr??)

$30 for trash. Who developed this app/platform?? I use it on a brand new LG OLED tv with good WiFi and have it exclusively to watch Bruins games. I have yet to make it through a game without constant lagging. The audio consistently falls behind and either slows right down or just goes into repeat mode until it resets itself. $30 a month is just a bit much for this poor of quality. Of all the streaming apps we use this is probably the worst.

Linking TV Provider issue. When this app works it works well. The problem is I get signed out extremely often for some reason, and every time I sign in I have to validate my TV subscription through FuboTV. This just does not work 90% of the time making it completely unusable when that is the case. This is extremely frustrating and I’ve reached out numerous times and it has not been fixed and is only getting worse. I do not understand how a service like this that is built on needing a subscription to be used can just not let you validate your subscription to use the app. It’s ridiculous.

Garbage App - Don’t waste your $. I love the Red Sox and was excited tHat my kids are finally old enough to really watch the games with me. Downloaded the app on my phone and my Roku. On my phone, I could rewind and watch from the beginning. On Roku can only watch from whenever you tuned in. Not a great start, but fine. The bigger problem was that when I would tune into games, at least half of the time the app would flip coverage between all of the different offerings - a live Sox game, an historic replay, and a Red Sox Story - or whatever it was. This was so frequent I quit using the app. I deleted and redownloaded over a dozen times between my phone and my Roku. No dice. I contacted customer support who offered no solutions and no refund. People - save your money. NESN - Fix this garbage app and I’ll happily reup so I can watch the Sox with my boys.

Worst streaming service ever. Nesn360 has got to be the worst streaming service I’ve ever used by far. The airplay function is always crashing and the 4k option has never once worked properly. And for $30 a month I would expect the royal treatment. The audio is constantly lagging and no matter how many times I hit the LIVE button, I KNOW it isn’t live because I get the score update notification from another app before I watch it happen, ruining the experience entirely. For a network that makes their content very hard to watch without a cable subscription, they put forth surprisingly little effort to make if up to their viewers by way of having their streaming experience live up to even the lowest standards. I’ve been watching nesn my whole life but this is a new low for them.

Great in theory, terrible in practice. I like the idea of being able to subscribe to a streaming service to watch the B’s without cable, but this app is just so poorly done that it ruins it. I primarily use the chromecast feature to watch games on my TV and the stream is constantly skipping around and disconnecting. I keep needing to open the app again every few minutes to reconnect it. None of the other streaming apps I use have this problem. Likely just going to cancel my 360 subscription; it’s not worth the frustration of using this app.

Worst App I’ve Ever Used. Sadly, this is the only option I have to watch certain local sports. This would be a poor value if it was free. On my TV, the app is glitchy, it abruptly shuts down, won’t allow for 4K broadcasts to be joined in progress and be rewound - and when I open the non4K broadcast and select “start from the beginning”….it brings me to live TV for a period and THEN it starts from the beginning. Great to see a score that I’m trying to avoid knowing! There is no way to record broadcasts and the only rewatch options are the “in 2” options which are truncated….you can’t actually watch the full game. These issues have been the same for multiple years, so not only is this app lacking basic functions, for some reason there is zero investment/interest to improve…any…of…it. If you have any other option, it HAS to be better than this.

Horrible. Every game I watch there is a glitch repeating the feed frame three four times then freezing have to exit app and reload when watching hockey that’s a huge issue especially when playoffs start missing valuable game time. The 4k option is a joke you get a shadow on the ice from adds that are on the boards . Can’t even get Hd feed right never mind trying to broadcast a 4k feed .What a disappoint for watching New England sports

Good but very buggy. I like the app and the content. It’s fairly easy to use and navigate. But it is extremely buggy. Every commercial break during bruins games the app crashes when I am streaming and using chrome cast from my iPhone. It also seems pretty delayed from real time. Make it more stable and it’s 5 stars. You can have the best app experience ever but if it isn’t stable it’s worthless. Not sure I will continue to subscribe. I switched from Fubo which is $95 a month but atleast it always works.

Constantly crashing. Even when no one else at the house is using wifi, every other game will be an agonizing experience. Sometimes it works fine, and others is like today where I’ve had 9 connection problems over two periods which required me to restart it each time (when it does restart, sometimes it doesn’t). With the price I’m charged I’m seriously rethinking how I’ll watch the Bruins next season.

LOUD SOUND FROM LOGO INTRO. Why the insanely LOUD sound with the NESN logo every time I click a game? It’s terrible and makes me despise NESN and its logo from the PTSD I suffer from the ringing it causes my ears. The game volume is so quiet compared to to the LOUD logo intro. Plus the logo intro is unnecessary in the first place. Sometimes I get home and want to quickly turn on a game and know every second is precious cause I could miss something but I have to sit through this stupid logo thing EVERY TIME. Please get rid of it! My friends hate it too!

One of the greats. I’m a huge bruins fan and I’m not always able to watch all the games. But NESN is always there when I can’t watch I can still watch it. I saw some of the one star reviews and those people are crazy. This app is amazing keep up the work NESN.

It's got issues. I mostly use this with a Fire stick 4k and when it's working it's not bad. You open the app, click on the Bruins game and if the game has started already you can choose to watch live or start from the beginning. Generally the fast forward, rewind and pause works well enough with no issues and you can get through an entire game. Having said all that, when things aren't running smooth, this app is like a stubborn teenager and will not cooperate. An example would be tonight's game against the Lightning. I opened the app around 7:50, had to mute and look away because it always starts live even if you choose watch from beginning. Usually this works, but not tonight. I tried 3 times to watch from beginning and it kept playing it live. Tried rewinding and all that did was buffer and go back to live. I missed the first half of the period, then the app quit, had to restart. Has a pause functionality but when you unpause, it plays live. Oh yeah you have to be careful towards the end of the game. If you're not caught up to real time by the end of their broadcast it cuts out and immediately sends you to Bruins overtime live. Overall it's not great because the coverage is so erratic. It's buggy as heck and frustrating at times but I'm willing to put up with it bc I love the Bruins and I dont want to shell out $90 per month for Fubo.

Actively Destroying the Sox and Bruins brand. The most disappointing and disastrous commercial product execution I have ever seen. Period. This isn’t hyperbole. The price vs product execution, fan $ expectation, is absurd, offensive, and heartbreaking. I have lost nearly all respect for the Red Sox and Bruins management and network, after following their teams for the past 43 years. But clearly nobody at NESN actually cares about these 1 star responses and feedback. The fan base deserves better. The players deserve better. You are failing us all.

Absolutely terrible app and streaming service.. For $30 a month you’d think you’d be able to watch a game with no issues. But I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to watch the last 5 minutes of a game, and wasn’t even able to do that. When watching live, the game will jump 5 minutes ahead, go backwards, or even just restart without me touching anything. It is so incredibly difficult to watch anything through nesn. Not to mention you have to watch live or within 24 hours of the game, or you can’t watch the game at all. The blackout doesn’t lift for other streaming services after the 24s either, so there’s no way to watch the game unless you know how to create a vpn. I also called the customer service, and their only advice was to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I’d give less than a star if I could.

$30 a month for what?!. So, not only is the monthly cost of this app outrageous, but it’s also extremely buggy. The iPhone app seems to work fine, although the Apple TV app is completely useless. Every time I try to watch a game I am greeted with a message that says: Oops! Looks like your device or setup does not support the NESN 4K HDR stream. For reference, I am attempting to watch on a LG OLED tv with a brand new Apple TV 4K - 128GB - Ethernet edition. Video settings are 4K SDR with match dynamic range and match frame rate enabled. My internet is Verizon Fios gigabit connection through Ethernet. I’ve since gone into the settings and changed the format to 4K HDR and now the app works. For those of you who are not tech savvy the Apple TV match format section in video settings takes care of this. So when I originally had my format set to 4K SDR it would automatically switch to HDR when watching HDR content (EXCEPT NESN 360). This is incredibly annoying and is unacceptable for the price you are charging. I suggest you fix your app and lower the monthly price if you plan on keeping customers.

Awful. The app has worked incredibly poorly for years. Now that NESN is starting to have 4K broadcasts I’ve wanted to use the app to watch Red Sox games through Apple TV and my iPad. I’m located in Massachusetts but the location functionality of the app insists that I’m outside of New England. I assume this is because my xfinity / Comcast ip address pings me to New Jersey. This is a very common problem and they need to figure out a better way to determine your location or simply remove that restriction. It actually works on my iPhone and my wife’s Google Pixel, both of which are connected to the same Wi-Fi. I have called customer service multiple times and submitted multiple requests. The only Troubleshooting they suggest is to delete the app and reinstall it. If that doesn’t fix it, they’re clueless.

Skips or lags. The amount of times the app lags especially during commercials where the same commercial will play for about 5 seconds, then jump back 3 seconds, then go forward and repeat is outlandish. It’s happened multiple times in tonight’s game alone where it was so bad it missed 50 seconds of game play towards the end of the second and the first 30 seconds in the third. I’m glad there is a way to watch NESN anywhere but please work on functionality especially for the price.

Absolutely Embarassing App. I paid well over $300 to watch the B’s this year and I own 4k new TVs and the clarity of picture if the game is not on the NESN 4k channel, it is worse than antennae tv. Why would NESN play the Sox who are last place on the 4k channel and not the Bruins trying to close out the Panthers in the first round of the playoffs? This is a repeated problem and if there were any other possible way to access the B’s without monthly cable bills, I would definitely avoid the NESN 360 app. Extremely extremely disappointing. Would not recommend.

Awful. I canceled cable to use all streaming services. I’m a huge Bruins fan so only use this app during the hockey season. There’s been at least 2 games this season alone that I’ve been forced to watch on my phone instead of my flatscreen bc the app doesn’t work with my smart tv. It’s truly infuriating. $30/month to watch my Bruins, and service is either shotty, delayed or blacked out. Tonight I had to restart the app on my phone three times before I could even watch the game. Have had the app open on my tv for the past hour+ in hopes it’ll open eventually, but I’m not holding my breath. It’s appalling that although NESN has monopoly over Boston sports, they can’t provide a service to subscribers unless they’re watching the game through a cable provider. The app is useless for games like tonight’s, and for the other games where the same thing happens randomly during over the season.

Sell The Sox Henry. I seldom write a review but I am compelled to complain about the NESN app experience. Horrible is what comes to mind first. I can deal with lag time but there are so many commercials that when they return to coverage the game is already in progress. It’s so bad that you miss at bats by players and defensive plays in the outfield. Totally unacceptable to make me miss the game and then want my money. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Horrible stream quality & consistency. I paid for the full year of Nesn 360 prior to the start of the Red Sox season, and already regret the decision. The app does not work to stream for more than 15-20 mins at a time; you constantly have to turn off the cast, restart the app, and behind again. I have not successfully cast a full game in one sitting without repeated issues

Not read for production. Buffering, freezing, rewind sorta works when it wants to but no preview, constantly missing several pitches after commercial. It's all about showing the commercials and make even more money. No care for customer, fans or general presentation. Oh ya, the same commercials over and over again. Very disappointed and I don't see where all those five star ratings come from and I'm a huge Sox fan.

Worth it if in the same boat as me…. App allows me to watch when the gf is not feeling hockey… I can just pop it on my iPad and watch. Also, the best way to watch when I’m traveling! me to

Awful!!!. You cannot record, pause, fast forward, or rewind games and there is no database of old games to watch when you want to. Every other streaming platform lets you do these basic services. $30 a month for this product while the Red Sox are unwatchable is literally insulting.

Faulty. I like the app when it works it is flawless but this app is so faulty i keep having to sign into my TV provider and when i do i still can’t watch the team i want to watch (bruins) other then that it’s pretty decent.

Disappointed. Garbage app. Signed into my tv provider and still couldn’t watch anything. Prompted me to pay for a $300 subscription😂😂. Nobody is paying that for this garbage. I’d say if you want anybody to use this app, let people watch what they already pay for. Thought the app was for convenience and I’ve experienced none of that.

Glitchy. Fine for if your away from home, but when trying to watch from home, it’s a terrible option. There are no 360 apps for smart TVs, so you either need to watch on your small phone screen or try to cast/Airplay the game but both those functions are extraordinarily glitchy/annoying and will repeatedly cut out and just stop playing and struggle to reconnect. Better off using the website on a laptop, but casting or using airplay from that also struggles and also randomly stops playing. It’s even more annoying because the MLB app works much better and “out-of-market” Sox fans can use it to watch games, but the games are blacked out for us.

Do Not Sign Up!. I signed up to live stream NESN on my smart tv only to discover that one has to pay for an additional service just to access NESN. This is misleading advertising and the crooks at NESN purposely bury any reference to this in their FAQs. It should be reveled on the sign up page. I was reluctant to sign up in the first place as the service is way overpriced. Poor customer service wouldn’t let me speak with a responsible person. I repeat, DO NOT SIGN UP FR THIS SERVICE - YOU’LL BE SORRY YOU DID

4K broadcast is terrible 😣. Got this just to watch Bruins home games in 4K. It’s horrible. Freezes, flashes every second, flickers, can’t pause … etc. I tried EVERYTHING to improve this 4K experience. Cast iPhone to TV: Just a black screen. 360 app on a 4K Firestick: Nope, flickers and freezing. 360 app native to TV: Nope, flickers and freezing. Eliminated Wi-Fi connection with hard wire Ethernet cable to the router: Nope, flickers and freezing. 360 app is fine in all operations and ways with HD, just can’t do Live 4K broadcast. I have absolutely no problems with 4K live sports using YouTubeTV. World Cup soccer is flawless, so I know it’s technically possible. Someone from NESN might wanna ask FOX and YouTubeTV how to execute this, because they have no problems.

Glitchy. Gets the job done most of the time but almost never smooth. There’s always some glitch. From a 15 second repeat to black outs. For $30 which I only use for the bruins, it’s pretty disappointing and expensive

Not even remotely worth it. $30/month to not be able to watch it on your expensive smart tv, only be able to watch an entire game on your phone, and on top of that not be able to watch if you travel for work? Absolutely not. Not worth it.

Only works on the phone. Works great on my iPhone 11. Clear picture, very little to no lag, overall 4.5 stars for the phone. Yet, If I’m trying to cast it to a tv…negative 1 star / forget about it! Awful lag and impossible to watch! Why have an option that doesn’t work?

AWFUL. How on earth is this service $29/month The extensive lag and rebooting CONSTANTLY is something I have never experienced with a streaming app before Not a WiFi issue as we have gaming caliber wifi along with modems. This app is atrocious and needs to be fixed before you start charging people all this money for such an awful application.

Bad service. App freezes and goes into repeating like a broken record. Only way for to continue playing is if you hit the back button to the primal Home Screen for NESN 360

Super buggy. App has a ton of bugs that I encounter at least half the time I’m watching. The idea is there, but the execution is poor. One common issue is if I want to start the game from the beginning, it still starts mid game or keeps reverting to the start. App could really use some work.

Unskippable ads every time. App is an ad infested scam for $30 a month. As if NESN wasn’t taking enough of your money you have to watch the same unskippable ad every time you open the app regardless of whether the game is on an ad break. Horrendous customer experience. NESN execs should be ashamed although I doubt those lizard people can feel shame

Most times unwatchable. Watching a Sox game on 360 and buffers every few minutes. Support says, reinstall app. Commercials play without issue but the games lag like crazy and as a first year subscriber, I’m very disappointed, and won’t be renewing next year.

Awful app. Consistently freezes, won’t let me watch games that I have connection for and have paid for, ugly layout, will make you watch commercials for 4 hours instead of letting you watch the games you pay a ridiculous amount for

Awful. For $30 a month you would think you could pause, rewind, forward or watch a game at a later time. The lag is awful. Oh and if you think you can tether to your TV, well they won’t let you. Absolute ripoff. As soon as bruins season is over, I’m done. Plus cannot use my Roku live either cause they are having “known issues” that after half a season isn’t fixed. Run if you can. I can’t.

Not worth it. $24 a month to not be able to watch it on my tv because it doesn't support Samsung so I have to watch it on my phone and half the time at least 5 times a game it crashes at this point I’ll just buy cable again

Unusable rewind / fast forward. Clearly no one at Nesn actually uses this app. If they did, they’d see how useless the rewind and fast forward features are (at least on a FireTV stick). Even on the slowest speed, it jumps way too far backwards or forwards, making it impossible to use. It also doesn’t shut down properly - sound keeps coming out even after exiting the app.

Fantastic viewing!. Crystal clear and makes you feel like you are at the game!

Poor quality. Freezes all the time. Sound audio is low quality, the announcers voice over power everything else. User interface is also confusing. The fact that this app cost 30 bucks a month is a crime

NESN 360. What was previously a less than satisfactory experience is now seamless and responsive. Thank you for the dramatic improvements.

Terrible App, Terrible Gauging. They remove nesn from everything forcing you to subscribe to nesn 360 which is TERRIBLE value. The app rarely works constantly making me log back in and it almost never works too stream from the phone to tv. Honestly criminal that they charge people as much as they do with such a defunct app. Sadly though it's the only way to watch the bruins when they're not on TNT. Overall I'm extremely dissatisfied.

Such poor tech. The tech is so, so bad. App essentially has a seizure when you click on something. You constantly have to sign in again, even when the app actually remembers you. During games the screen goes dark, the audio broadcast continues, and a message comes up saying, “Your program will return after this commercial.” Stunning.

Tired of signing in. The only problem with the app when you want to watch the Red Sox game every day I go on there I have to sign in with my provider that is a real inconvenience if you would fix that it would be a better app

Not Great. Finally NESN creates an app and monthly subscription, but they completely screw it up. $9.99/month for ESPN+ which has 10x more to offer and NESN charges $30 just so I can watch a bruins game in November. Also, while paying $30 to watch the bruins per month the app freezes and does the 5 second NESN Ad every 2 minutes. NEEDS WORK. Happy to jump into the conversation on improvements

Not worth one star. It’s disgusting what they charge for this awful app and the only option if you stream to watch the Bruins. It’s also comical reading some of the other reviews that they act concern and want you to call support, which I’ve never actually been able to get through to.

Overpriced Trash. This app harkens back to the good old days where apps were almost unusable. Trying to use Airplay is a roll of the dice, sometimes it works sometimes not so much. Sometimes when I actually magically get it connected it’ll just disconnect. Such crap. This will be cancelled and deleted the moment the bruins season is over and I won’t subscribe again next year.

Choppy, inconsistent feed. When this works, it’s great. But half the time the feed is choppy, it skips frames, or it freezes randomly throughout the game. It’s basically unwatchable when that happens. And it’s not an iOS specific issue, it happens on every platform I tried. So you’re paying $30/month and half the time can’t watch the games. Absolute scam.

Really bad on tv. For some reason it’s pretty good on a mobile device but when watching on my smart tv it will cut to a commercial and then just play commercials on loop until I exit the app and start it up again…

Freezes so frequently we have yet to watch a full game. We watch until we get so frustrated with the app freezing that we give up and turn the game off. For the limited amount of time between lengthy frozen pauses that the app functions it is really nice to be able to watch so many games, even if for only the first few innings before my patience runs out.

Greedy mega corporation. This app is absolute garbage. My cable provider has nesn but they still want $30 a month to watch content I already pay for. John Henry and Linda Pizutti are greedy elitists who have no regard for their customers. They own NESN and literally gouge their subscribers at every turn. They are an embarrassment and NESN will be better off when they sell it. They will NOT get any of my money while those two are in charge.

Pretty Awful. The worst. This app is laughable. How can a team that rakes in this much money produce an app this terrible? It's darn near theft!! I'll be watching a game then within minutes audio or even sometimes video from some other show starts coming through. Super super super annoying and completely unacceptable given the $30 price. The best I can say is sometimes it works ok for several minute stretches.

A lot of bugs for $30 a month. A lot of bugs for something that is overly expensive. Unable to cast to tv, unable to watch via browser on laptop. Games constantly buffering (not connection related) just seems like they have a lot to fix for the price point.

Picture in picture. Give us picture-in-picture! Other than that, this is a huge improvement over the old NESN Go app. Please add the picture-in-picture feature like most streaming apps have. It’s great to be able to use your phone without the game just shutting off.

Freezes constantly. Terrible app. Freezes constantly when trying to watch live content. NESN clearly doesn’t care about its fans or they would just sign deals with the major streaming providers. Until then we are stuck with this trash app.

Apple TV app is atrocious. I can’t believe how bad this app is. Every time I try to watch something I need to reauthenticate. If I’m watching a game - say, a Bruins game, which NESN decides ends at 9:30 - if the game is still being played at 9:30, the video stops, I’m dumped back at the menu (to choose Bruins Overtime, for example), and I NEED TO AUTHENTICATE AGAIN!! I haven’t tried to use a worse app. It’s 2022, almost 2023 - this should JUST WORK.

Wish it worked with Apple Airplay. I wish thisapp allowed air play rather than having to use a device. Other than freezing up at least once per hour,it is okay.

Improving. I have the app and have had some technical issues. They are improving. Crashing, subtitles, and freezing. Less and less the last few weeks.

Hasn’t worked for years still doesn’t work. I was hoping they’d fix this janky app when they started charging folks $30 a month for it. Nope!!! Still have to sign in a million times, freezes, can’t cast, lag, buffering etc. Absolutely comical that Tom Werner and co can’t fix this joke. No wonder the Sox are garbage if they can’t even find a competent developer.

Terrible App. What’s the point of having an App to watch Boston Sports (Red Sox and Bruins) if you’re going to black out every region outside of New England? How do you expect me to watch my favorite Boston teams when I no longer live in New England anymore? Absolutely horrible and unfair for the loyal Boston fans that don’t live in New England and want to watch their favorite team play. Please make this change.

Worst Streaming App. There are Uzbeki public access stations that offer better quality streaming viewer experiences. The 4K stream never works, the HD stream is mediocre at best, the fast forward function doesn’t work, and you get all of this for the low price of $30 a month. This app is absolute garbage and if you have any other way of watching the Bruins or Sox do it.

Too much buffering. This app is obnoxious. You’ll be watching it on TV and during the commercials it repeats itself and freezes and you have to back out of this $30/ month app - that you pay for ONE channel. Over priced. I’d drop this nonsense if I had another way to watch the Red Sox. F-

Doesn’t Have Spectrum Cable. I have Spectrum cable where I watch games on NESN all the time. If I’m not home I like to stream games through my TV provider. It works on every other app, but this app just doesn’t allow Spectrum cable as an option to log in with as a TV provider. It just doesn’t list it. Awful

Embarrassingly bad for an embarrassingly high price. The amount of times this app will freeze and crash during the course of ONE game is infuriating. I have to restart the app every 5-10 mins give or take. John Henry is basically scamming people with this app. He needs to sell the team.

This is the worst app. I left a review a year ago that said if I didn’t have NESN through my cable company, I would cancel my subscription to NESN and that stands true today. The WORST app, using on Apple TV and iPad. I have constant lagging and freezing and usually get alerted to goals by the NHL app before I see it in game. The overall picture quality is terrible and the ads are absolutely obnoxious. I don’t understand why they can’t get it together.

Worst Streaming App Ever. This is by far the worst app. It doesn’t work on Apple TV and their customer service is awful. I gave up after opening 3 tickets for the same issue. It is also impossible to link my TV provider. Every time I click to do so it prompts me to create a NESN 360 account. Do not waste your time with this app. It is THE WORST!
