Love the game needs new styles. I am not exaggerating when I say THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!! I love the little story’s that makes it like a real cooking journey I love how you can interact with your guild as a team and I love how you can customize your character! And about customizing your character, I think you should update the styles ( the ones where you can go in and by with game cash or rubies not real money) I get you wanna make extra money and everything so the only updated styles you give us cost like five bucks each but I don’t think it’s really fair because I know I’m never gonna be able to buy any of the hair styles or outfits all that I can buy ( and not really because the really nice ones cost like 100 rubies witch I can never get ) is the same old never changing outfits that cost game cash or game rubies but you NEVER come out with new ones I can afford! My main problem is the hair styles been there worn that nothing NEW I want something like the ones we have to buy with cash with fancy updos and color highlights I would really like a hair style that is fun and I can afford. I also would like new and fun outfits to chose from but I mostly would like new affordable hair styles thank you for reading this and I’m lease out these thoughts into consideration!!

Fun game, but you take the good with the bad. This is my “go to” game. I love the different themes and the variety of challenges including daily challenges, long term achievements, and healthy competition against other players- especially when you join or create a team. I give 5 stars for those reasons. The biggest hurdle is to acquire rubies (used for upgrades)... So save them while you can. I don't suggest using rubies to “speed up” upgrades, as it wastes rubies you could use in the future. I use the waiting time to complete other challenges/ achievements. As much as I love this game, I will say I’ve slowed down In playing. With the current update, they started charging rubies for restaurant decorations along with doubling the “paper money” price tags on decorations. This was a massive disappointment. I used to use the in game “paper money” to upgrade my restaurant decor and in turn, receive ruby rewards for higher prestige. This was key in consistently progressing through the game and earning those diamonds. But, hey the developers need to make money.. I guess they caught on. It was fun while it lasted. All in all very entertaining game. I do give a thumbs up in hopes that they don’t make any more money grabbing upgrades. Id rather spend on extras like outfits.

Great time management game. I love this game. If you like fun time management games, then you’ll love this one. I played burger shop before and would have to say this game is better. You get to be in a team and compete, there are also competitions for individuals, you get to socialize in the chats, and you get to level up through the restaurants. There are strategic ways to get free gems. So you don’t necessarily have to spend money on it unless you want to progress faster. I also love the guild quest. I love the new feature of being able to speed up help requests for free. Great job devs. Can you do this an unlimited amount of times? If so, I’ll watch as many ads as you need me to because it is very helpful. I really like that you can progress within the game without having to break your bank account. You can spend money on it without going broke in the process if that’s your style of play. I also appreciate that there are so many levels and restaurants. It’s fantastic. One suggestion I have is a built in translator. In my guild, there are a variety of languages spoken. I would like it if this can be automatically translated to the language I’m using within the game so that I can communicate better with my teammates.

2 issues (4.5 star is what I'd actually rate it). The game is GREAT and all; BUT there is 1 issue; and the issue is: if you started are guild; it seems after a few days or maybe a couple weeks of not being online; the game makes someone else as admin; you don't keep it like you should after a while; the game used to not have this issue; but now it seems like it does; I've had to leave and restart a new guild at least TWICE now; if it can be switched back as to whoever creates the guild is the guild admin until that later either leaves the guild him/her self or places someone else as guild admin on purpose for whatever reason; hopefully you guys (creator(s) of the actual game): fix this only issue that I at least have; other than that; it is quite a good game; my other "complaint is: for the wheel of fortune; I seem to get more of the blue dollar bill looking things more often than anything else; it would be a whole lot better if it's just varies more often as to landing on other things like the rubies or even jackpot more often instead of the "dumb" blue dollar bill looking things; I hope if this review update goes through and stuff; you guys fix it please

Game is Awesome. But, rubies.. I kept on getting this ad over and over again and I was like “fine! I’ll download the game.” I THOUGHT I would delete this after 4-5 minutes because I don’t go well with cooking game their just not my type of fun. But, OMG never have I enjoyed a game this much. I was mind-blown by the game, the story, and just everything! I remember when I didn’t have rubies and the customers were saying to get upgrades and me saying “i DoNt HAvE RUBIeSs!” Now that we are done saying how great this app is, rubies. I know all the way to get rubies at the moment but, some of my quests are easy, but STILL require rubies. I have a suggestion. Either, get rubies depending on how hard the level is. Or, when you have other shops there’s a small chance to get rubies with your income. Now, depending on how long you haven’t collected your income from other shops, there’s a better chance to get rubies. That’s all I have to say this game is great overall just some stopping points. I’ve read other reviews and you guys have done such a great job! Please consider doing anything more events, gift rewards, anything! Just please let people get rubies with it. Amazing game :). This game is really fun! I’ve never been one to play cooking games for a long time, but I’ve already spent hours playing this game and it’s still enjoyable. I like how there are several things happening in addition to the main story: big events, small events, guild quests etc. I also like that you can add friends without having to necessarily go through Facebook. I really only have one major issue: the rubies are hard to get. I understand that it’s part of the challenge of collecting the rubies, but it’s at a point where there’s a lot of work just to get a couple of gems (unless I want to pay real money to buy gems). All the upgrades require gems to purchase in addition to coins. Coins I have no problem collecting, but the currency collecting is just disproportionate. I would LOVE if there was a way to trade in coins for rubies! This would definitely help those who collect a lot of coins but are unable to do anything with them because you need coins AND rubies to upgrade. Or, another suggestion would be to make the upgrades cost more coins but less gems. All that being said, I’m still able to enjoy this game, and while getting the rubies is a slow process, so far it hasn’t been too terrible. Oh and I would love if there were more clothing options that can be purchased with the banknotes. I really like this game! Thank you :)

Ridiculous ruby amounts. I love this game. It’s very addicting but they are many setbacks and even changes that are not ideal. Rubies are getting harder to come by! We get 2 rubies every so often in the truck levels, but a suggestion is to maybe allow 1 ruby every truck level instead. They are also winnable after finishing a story (20 rubies), but we need those rubies to be able to finish the story. We can also win them in the achievements but having to serve, for example, 2400 snacks in the Particles of Taste restaurant is ridiculous for only 5 rubies. This should at least be worth 10 or 15. I get it sometimes since snacks and drinks can be served more often than the main dishes, but that is a lot for less rubies. And the currency differences are a little ridiculous too. Since we get to a point where we’re not updating restaurants in a city anymore, what’s the point of still having free coins regenerate every 4 hours. It’s really a waste and would be more useful to be able to trade in for rubies. Like I have almost 900,000 coins in one city and haven’t really used them. One last thing is the update on certain updates in restaurants where, for example, we need 5 rubies to get a certain wall design or curtain design now. We already need too many rubies for restaurant updates and this is just too much. It’s not reasonable. I understand needing to up some stuff up for players to buy in-app purchases in order to make money from this app, but there’s a better way about it.

Constant updates prove frustrating for players. Not only do longtime players find that the new updates are creating new levels that are sometimes impossible to finish without added boosters (many of which have to be purchased), they are redesigning old levels so that players can’t go back easily to first levels to contribute to quests or to complete assignments in the book. The new updates bring ‘insane’ levels and many I have not been able to finish without boosters, which run out quickly and are expensive to buy. I have played for years and used to find this game fun and an outlet to have especially on down time during the pandemic. More recently in the past few months I have quit out of frustration and have not been able to help the team I admin for as much. They are quite indifferent in customer service messages as well and have solved nothing. The developers maybe have a quota to bring to corporate trying to squeeze every last dime out of the customers and every last ounce of joy out of the game, as it has just gotten more and more terrible and a money grubbing scheme. For all the time and some money I have spent on the game, in addition to the team I admin for, I still have some hope they will listen to the many complaints I know they’ve gotten from team members and those worldwide to change their game back to the fun, less greedy game it has become.

Make it affordable. I I have been playing this game for years, before all the new bells & whistle. Before instant delivery before Adam is painting, making sculptures etc. I love the new additions BUT it seems the game is becoming beyond expensive. Why are we required to use rubies to upgrade the furniture twice? We are upgrading trays and trash cans for what? I rarely if ever throw food away. It just doesn’t make sense, and it’s not like the developers make it any easier or accessible to gain free rubies in the same capacity as we lose/ have to purchase things with them. I’m all for making the game difficult because that makes it fun but this is getting ridiculous. I’ve made tremendous progress and would hate to delete but you guys are making it more difficult. Hopefully you’ll actually take this review into consideration in future updates. Update: DO NOT DOWNLOAD. The complaints have fallen on deaf ears and it’s gotten even more ridiculous. They gave us free delivery with Dave then changed it to be only every 12 hours and that’s IF you pay for the path of glory. You get blue bucks as rewards for everything and yet can’t really use them for anything. The wheel of fortune is rigged, I’ve spun it legit 8 times (using money of course) and 6 of those 8 times I’ve gotten blue bucks. BACK TO BACK. I am so disappointed that after years of this game, time AND money invested I have to get rid of it.

Have to spend money if you want rubies and to advance. Either you spend money the further you advance or your going to be waiting awhile or losing a lot of lives just trying to get 1000 drinks to collect them a few rubies. As soon as you purchase a large amount of rubies don’t expect free lives by watching ads they stop giving them to you they want you to spend your rubies instead to get you to want to buy more. My account alone today has told me my accounts been logged into on another device 4 times even though I’ve only ever played this game on my phone so now I’m worried about being hacked. I enjoyed this game for awhile and put alot of money into and now I’m starting to regret it. Sometimes you watch an ad for no reason because somehow you didn’t get that free life or speed up like your suppose to. After you move to the next area your coins are pointless can’t use them for the wheel of fortune so you collect for no reason. You can’t request lives from your guild mates like you can in other games only Facebook or friends you invited so get ready to sit and wait for lives if you don’t have or use Facebook. The further you get the more expensive everything gets and the more rubies needed and they like to give you 1-3 at a time after beating 20 levels.

BEST restaurant time-management game, I’m obsessed!. I’ve honestly never in my life written an app review before, even for things I use all the time and love, but I have to write one for this game. I’ve tried quite a lot of mobile time-management games, especially in the restaurant category, and this one is the best one I’ve come across. I’ve stopped playing the other ones I’ve downloaded, including one I used to play allll the time and have spent like $40 on. KUDOS to the team that put this together because I can tell it took a LOT of work, between the gameplay design and the graphics and the storyline… I tend to be stingy with in-app purchases but had no problem buying one $5 pack for this game, less because I wanted the items and more because I just wanted to support the developers! I’m not even annoyed at the ads in the game (which you can choose to watch to get more rewards - they’re not forced upon you) because I just want this game to continue developing more restaurants and storylines! There’s often new events popping up so that you can never really get bored of it. As you can tell I’m obsessed!

Super fun but difficult to progress. I really enjoy this game. It provides great challenges and a lot of opportunities to play different types of levels. I love it! The characters are endearing, the visuals are very clean and nice to look at, and the designers’ ability to play ads throughout the game (without taking over) is clever. I also enjoy playing in guilds with other players. Love the competitions for each of the levels and in the overall game. The major drawback, though, is that it’s pretty difficult to get upgrades in your restaurants. If you’re not able to get these upgrades, then you’ll have great difficulty in passing levels. It’s understandable that levels get progressively more challenging. However, the opportunities in which to get what you need to upgrade (without paying real money) are scarce, and the need for gems (the scarce payment, which you can conveniently purchase with real money) increases significantly as you progress. I wouldn’t call this a pay to play game per se, but I feel like it will soon be practically unplayable if it continues on the same track it’s on right now. It’s really too bad because I enjoy this game quite a bit! I will probably have to uninstall eventually.

This game is amazing for chronic pain!. I have a chronic degenerative disease called CIDP. I also have numerous other conditions. Between all of these, I am in bed most of the time and in severe to extreme pain. This game has enough going on that I am able to dive in and put all my focus on it, removing my focus from my pain. Even though I can’t afford to put much money into the developers, I have been purchasing little extras when I can. I really just want to support this game’s development team because of how amazing this game is! The only negative for me is that the lives system makes it really hard for long play sessions, once your higher level. I have been playing this game a little over a week, I think, and have gotten my level into the 50s (in the 3rd cafe, the cinecafe I think it’s called). In the beginning you can basically play forever because of either lots of storyline and tutorial type things that take a bit to complete or items/extensions to your lives. Now that I am in the level 50s, the extensions/items are drastically more rare (you can buy these items with real money if you can afford to) and you are having to play multiple difficult levels to get to the amazing and funny storyline (which at this level is much shorter). So, to sum up, THIS IS AN AMAZING GAME🥰😘💜🤩🥰! I just wish I could afford longer play sessions😞....

Addictive But The Coin Issue Is Annoying. I really enjoy this game and am impressed with the many features Mytona has put into this to make it an immersive game. I’m not finding the gems to be too hard to come by as I get quite a few from achieving ranks in restaurants or finishing episodes and achievements or spinning the wheel. I also took advantage of newcomer deals to buy gems at a steep discount, something I normally wouldn’t do. Gems are also available in reasonable package deals if so desired. Gameplay is engaging and challenging but so far not so challenging that I feel discouraged. My chief irritant with this game is the same as other players: I have a ton of wasted coins in the first district that I can’t use for anything, not even the wheel of fortune. I wish I had read reviews beforehand so I knew to use the wheel before opening the second district. It also seems unfair that daily quests send you back into places where you earn revenue that you can’t use. I’d at least like to be able to spin the wheel to earn banknotes and power ups or maybe be able to use the coins to buy pet supplies or clothing. I sincerely hope Mytona listens to the feedback of the players on this issue as it is quite frustrating.

I love this game, but.. I absolutely love this game. I’m obsessed and play almost every single day. My only feedback would be to add easier ways to get gems and items that help you during the game. Gems are extremely hard to obtain and even when you finish certain quests they have available, it’s not like you get much for a reward when it comes to gems, if you get gems at all. I know this game needs money to run and I’ve had no problem spending money in the past. Way to much money haha! But for those who can’t keep throwing money at the game, better ways to earn more gems. Of course not to easy, otherwise you wouldn’t make any money off the game. The items you get to help you earn more coins, make food your cooking not burn, I don’t really understand why you get points to add up to 30 to be able to obtain one. It’s not like these are easy to get either and should be something you just earn as a reward. It takes me quite awhile to even have one of these to use. Again I understand the game has to earn money, but this is my feedback to make it a bit more enjoyable. Great game overall! I can’t wait to play it more!

A Must-Have Cooking Game!. I love this game and I totally recommend it! My friends and I all have a guild and play together all the time. There are fun characters with different personalities, like a forgetful customer, a rushed customer, and one that takes forever. I also like how there is a TastyMe. With that, you can visit your friends' restaurants and get rewards. There are also daily rewards. It's also nice how it is quite easy to get rubies (in-game currency) which helps complete levels. I just wish that they would make it so that you could see all restaurants that there are so far. This game is a very good pastime for me and my family as well. I made a special guild just for my friends and family. There is also practically limitless restaurants and challenges to do. There is always something to do. My personal favorite is the Path to Glory, which is where you serve special customers and get special tokens for prizes. I also like the Food Truck, which is where you get 15 levels and after completing them all, you get a big reward. For every individual level you pass, you get a reward. All in all, this game is awesome and is a must-have in apps and cooking games. It's also a great pastime for friends and family to play alike. Thank you very much MyTona!

Fun but Pricey - Impossible to Obtain Gems!. This game is extremely fun to play and I’ve been obsessed the past couple of days. HOWEVER, the ability to obtain gems is EXTREMELY difficult. The game encourages you to purchase gems, however the gems are overpriced and frustrating, because there really is no other way to obtain gems easily. In order to obtain gems for free you have to complete quests which essentially make you replay a level hundreds of times in order to obtain just one or two gems. Upgrading your kitchen fully requires hundreds of gems. It would be a lot more enjoyable to play if things didn’t require HUNDREDS of gems in order to progress in the game; I often have to stop playing solely because I don’t have gems and cannot get anymore until the next day with the daily quests. Even after waiting a day, it is difficult to gain enough gems to upgrade enough of your kitchen to progress to the next stage. I’ve purchased some gems before, but since upgrading requires so many gems, the gems were used in SECONDS. I would honestly NOT recommend this game unless you have money you’re willing to spend. This is especially because once you get sucked into the game, you end up getting extremely frustrated since it’s so impossible to get gems.

I edited my review and it got deleted. Probably because I was open and sincere about what I posted. I have used and used to enjoy this app for years. But with the constant and increasingly unpalatable upgrades, I find myself teetering on the edge of actual dislike. What I loved most about the game, the sights and sounds of close to real life food prep., and serving has been lost; replaced by cartoonish looking items and zero sound effects of searing or other sounds equally attached to a functioning kitchen. And what’s worse, the levels that used provide a fun and challenging gameplay experience, are now near-unplayable… unless you spend more and more money on boosters. And forget completely your buying any of the outfits- unless you want the ones that take now thousands in game bucks. If I could revert to a much earlier version of this game, I would, in a heartbeat. Happily. But as the updates are forced, that’s not an option. You’re killing your fan base, dear Developers. You seem to be chasing a younger audience, but, to what avail? In this economy, the kids you seem to be trying to woo, can’t even buy your game currency. And the hard-working parents who are struggling to live through the pandemic, certainly won’t cover those game purchases either, for their kids, or in my case, for myself. You’re ruining your creation.

First I want to say that I love cooking diary I am addicted to this game.. I have spent tons of money on in app purchases. I have one issue so frustrating to me, I understand u get offers just pop up randomly in the game to purchase rubies coins, boosters etc I have never received an offer of 99 cents for 100 rubies,so I had my administrator of my guild send me a photo of the offer. I understand that people don’t buy a lot get this offer all the time. But those of us who make regular purchases never in 6 months ever have gotten this offer. I sent my concern to your support center then I was told there was nothing they can do they have no control over the game pop up purchases. I also have an issue with the restaurant Dessert Fair, this restaurant takes a minimum of 2, seconds to get first customer and then that level runs extremely slow. Example I played a level that required money and make 12 let’s just say happy, the game clock didn’t run down to o.oo it stopped with the last plate in my hand giving to customer clock stopped at 0.11 seconds. But over all I am addicted to CD I LOVE THIS GAME the graphic the story line but we want to remove the coins from old islands they are useless or can we figure out some way to use all of our coins trade for rubies or blue notes or dog supplies so many can be done in one day. Please consider making these changes. Happy gaming everyone!!!

Mostly great. i've been playing this game for a few months and i do make quite a bit of purchases, mainly for cosmetics and the path of glory. i can say i've enjoyed this game A LOT. I love cooking games and customizing my character, so this game really does it for me. this game is free to play, but it does take some time if you don't purchase anything. that is still the case but as i've played and as more updates come out, i can see the developers getting more and more greedy, making more events centered toward constantly opening new restaurants, which is not a good thing at all, especially for free to play players and even myself. i do not constantly spend money on rubies unless it is a good deal, and even then i am upset with the direction they are taking this game in. i don't spend just for the updates. however, if they come to a point where you are forced to open new restaurants, i will stop playing the game completely. TLDR; it is extremely fun, i love the cosmetics, but the developers are very pushy/greedy at times. Game is a slow grind if you are free to play, and some events are hard to do if you don’t open new restaurants. So i would play and see if the game is right for you or not.

Let’s talk about gems.. AGAIN.. I recently downloaded the game and got super hooked and gave the game a rating 4/5 stars... Today, I noticed certain things that ticked me off a bit. 1. When you pay to spin the wheel, the deals should become better. You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME with the ONE gem option *facepalm* 1 gem literally does nothing! It makes me not want to invest in spinning the wheel. 2. More options to win gems!! Even if it’s one or two gems every level or every two levels. It’ll keep people actually wanting to play. 3. Since you guys wanna charge for gems then you might as well do good deals... honestly, $3 for only 60 gems!? And $1 for only 10 gems!? That’s ridiculous! If I see a good deal I’ll take it and invest more in the game but all you guys have are lame deals where clearly you get less for your dollar. At least $1 for 40-50 gems and you’ll be getting a payment from me everyday. And last but not least, you guys aren’t listening/reading. You can tell in almost every review on this game that everyone has something to say about the gems and clearly that problem has not been solved. I understand game developers need money too, but think about the outcomes in the LONG run. Think about your loyal players that will invest more if you make better deals. The game is SO GOOD but there’s always room for improvement. Work with us, don’t let us down!

Great game but.... I absolutely love this game. I quickly got addicted and couldn’t stop playing it. The graphics are amazing and the storyline is interesting. One problem I have with the game is how impossible the levels get. I understand the need to make them harder as you move up, but harder shouldn’t equal impossible. In one of my restaurants, I tried to beat one of the levels and failed about 3 times. I then got help from my guild and even with the help and the extra tips I still failed. Then I made every possible upgrade to my restaurant (stoves, ingredients, drinks, etc.) and I tried again and I still can’t beat the level. The game raised the coin objective I needed to beat the level but decreased the amount of customers I would get so I’m always like 20 coins short from what I need. It’s so frustrating and makes me want to quit and delete the app. The second problem I have is the need for gems to upgrade everything. They’re already super hard to come by in large quantities unless you by them. When you do get them, it’s like you immediately have to spend them again. You should only need coins for upgrades, and if it’s a higher level one maybe it could require one gem but not eight. Other than these two issues this game is really great and I would start recommending it more if they somewhat fixed these two problems.

Actually Great. I really don’t review games nor do I enjoy modern mobile games because of the pushy capitalism that comes with them, the ads have taken truly over. HOWEVER - this game is entirely different. You CAN play this game pleasantly and still have so much to do without pestering ads. You CAN enjoy this game because of the quality of the game mechanics and there is just, like I said, so many things to do. Unlike most games, there is something for everyone here. I loved the integration of the food truck, different cuisines and restaurants, and most importantly GUILDS!! They’ve done it right, when many mobile games miss the mark on these features. This game stands out. It all makes Cooking Diary interesting and fun while remaining wholesome and doesn’t show children or adults horrible despicable ads or themes within the game (other than the witch in the newest update which I am not a fan of). It really is impressive and I give my thanks to the developers for taking their time to make what is, in my opinion, one of the best mobile games to date. Diner Dash can’t stand a chance next to Cooking Diary. And I didn’t even mention that the storyline feature in this game is surprisingly awesome, it’s actually cute and engaging and gives your character life. Impressive. Honestly the best free cooking app on the App Store currently. Interesting storyline, lovable characters, and very fun gameplay. The game doesn’t treat you like you’re an idiot, and gives you some pretty challenging levels. I feel like the ruby and coins distribution are fair with the competitions, achievement, and high scores you can rank in. However, with each new restaurant (another perk, multiple restaurants) things get more expensive, and you really start having to grind for coins. I wish that was scaled better along with the higher ruby costs, but overall it’s a lovely game. I will admit that I’ve spent money on this app for extra rubies, but that’s because I’m impatient. If the creators polished the game and made it a stand alone with even better in-depth game play, I would absolutely buy it outright full price. It reminds me of the original Cakemania games that I grew up with. I’m definitely happy with this game and supporting it, and really excited to see what other apps they’ll put on the market in the future. I truly wish I could just pay a standard set price for the full game honestly because I feel like with some tweaking it’s good enough to justify it.

A really fun & addictive game, but…. I really like this game. No wait, I LOVE this game! The mini side quests such as the ‘food truck’ or ‘help the chef’ levels are awesome! I also love how customizable your character is. The game play is addictive, I find myself spending upwards to an hour at a time playing this game. It’s also offers A LOT of gameplay through unlocking new restaurants (my favorite part.) Unfortunately, I do feel that earning gems is EXTREMELY hard, which is off putting to a casual player. When you are in the first restaurant it is VERY EASY to get gems, but after that you’re screwed unless you spend money on the game or save up (which can also be impossible as the further you progress the more gems leveling up your kitchen or even restaurant cost meaning unless you spend actually money you can’t progress further off 1 gem everyone 20 levels.) I think the developers of the app should make it a bit easier to earn gems, such as watching ads or other offers like “if you download this other game, you’ll receive 10-20 gems.” This would not only make players happy, but also allow the developers to gain ad revenue from featuring ads for other games.

Gems too difficult to come by. The game play is quick paced and really fun! ... at first. After about 3 or 4 restaurants in you start getting stuck because in a set time you have to serve x customers or make x amount of money. But to do that you need faster machines and more expensive ingredients... and how do you get those? With gems! But how do you get gems? Well, you can get 1 on day 4 of constant gameplay and 2 on day 5. You can watch an add twice a day and get 1 gen per add. You can spin a wheel for free once a day (I’ve gotten 2 gems this way maybe once a week, it’s hit or miss) and occasionally there’s special events where you can earn gems (1-3 gems every 5-10 levels complete). You also get a few gems when you get through episodes but you can only do that by whining levels. So when you’re stuck there’s 2 options. 1: wait. Every day you get a few gems. Save up to get that 16 gem tray or 12 gem oven upgrade. Might take you a few weeks of not playing and just clicking. Or 2: pay up. For a dollar you can get 100 gems.. sometimes. It’s one of those special offers that keep popping up. Or for $4.99 you can get a golden ticket and earn better prizes (gems and outfits) when you play events in the food truck. Gems should be a part of level prizes same as coins. Maybe to a less extent because I get it... ads aren’t enough, the game maker wants us to pay up. But it literally halts game play for me and that’s not ok. Do better Food Diary!

Wow, Insane.... I’ve been playing for over a year now and let me just say, this was a lucky find. From the very beginning I knew this was going to be my favorite game. So let’s get straight to it. There is a diamond balance, but honestly, the daily gems and quests you can complete make it nearly impossible to NOT have any gems. I wouldn’t see any reason why people would complain about not getting enough, when really there is a good amount you can gain. I tested it and gained 40 diamonds within 3-4 days. You could probably get more in that period of time. Also the amount of money that you need to play this game is absolutely none. I have gone through almost 11 restaurants without paying a cent. It just takes patience and hard work to save up diamonds to upgrade. Also you can buy certain rare clothing items but that’s entirely your choice. The harder the levels, the more diamonds you’ll need to improve your kitchen, which is what is necessary to complete the game. So be sure to spend them wisely! Overall I would say this is a FANTASTIC creation! The makers of this are geniuses, and they really do deserve shout outs for this incredible mobile game. I can play this all day if I wanted, but be careful with spending diamonds for clothing items (you’ll regret using them for that). Thank you for reading this review! i never write reviews, but…. I have played this game on and off from when it first came out five years ago, and it’s one i always come back to. this is the first cooking game that i’ve found that you don’t HAVE to spend money after a certain point as long as you’re alright with waiting for upgrades (15 minutes, 4 hours, or 8 hours depending on the tier.) the only thing i’ve ever spent money on is the $5 monthly pass to get instant deliveries bc i’m impatient, but it’s totally doable without. it stays fresh because many of the restaurants are very different, the little story lines are cute, there’s constantly a lot of events going on to keep things interesting, there are lots of opportunities to earn the premium currency required for upgrades (events, achievements, daily quests, guild quests, story completions, leaderboard tiers) so if you stay in each restaurant long enough to earn the diamonds there, you will never have to buy currency. and if you find yourself short on the premium currency, you can go back to other restaurants and complete achievements, or if worst comes to worst, wait til tomorrow to do your daily quest and/or any new events to earn more. it’s a solid game, very fun, and it stays interesting. (and no, i’m not a bot and this isn’t a paid endorsement. this really is the best cooking game out there, and trust me, i’ve tried them all.)

I think this game is a five star game there is not one single bug witches are in a lot of games and I didn’t find one bug in this game and also this game is so fun to do everything like it is so easy to get diamonds like you’re almost out of diamonds for like what few minutes and then it does it even though it’s on the sunny state stuff takes like four hours an hour or two for it to be at the shop it is still a really really good game like there’s just so much that you can do you can do a lot of stuff I love how you can actually ask people to help you and that is just so cool I love that people can send you guess which is like the best thingEver I would’ve never thought that if I was creating this game I would’ve thought like trying to I don’t have any suggestions just that I don’t like I have money to get the golden ticket but I just wish it was like a dollar then I would definitely buy it and then I’m pretty sure more people will want to buy it and and then it would just be more portable and then I would definitely want to buy this game to find my friends and they’ll download this and loved it so yeah thank you guys for listening to my review

Addictive?. I really enjoyed this game when I first got it. I beat the first restaurant level quickly, but when I upgraded to the bakery the levels started to become harder. One level was filled with all of the customers that forget their order as soon as they stated it, which was near impossible. I thought the bakery restaurant level would be similar to the diner one, due customers being able to customize everything, however, I was wrong. It is very much indeed similar, but it is HARDER. Example: How am I supposed to cook three cakes with two ovens, one triangle cake with chocolate icing and blueberries, one star cake with strawberry icing ONLY, and one cake with who knows what? And on top of that, dealing with what drink they would like, having to reset the drink machine, what snacks they would like as well, and making sure that they aren’t getting too impatient? One time I used all of the candies for just one level! I can’t even complete levels anymore without having the urge to close down the app! I was really excited to keep going along with this game until I made it to the last restaurant, but due to how impossible the levels are getting I might not be able to. I love the storylines/plot, how we can create our own character, and much more, but please make the levels a little bit easier so I can truly enjoy this amazing app!

Loved this game until it wouldn’t load. I was so addicted to this game and played it all the time. I was so far advanced in the game until I started getting messages that someone else was logged into my game. The first couple times I didn’t pay it any mind. But then I would notice things would mess up or when I would tap something it wouldn’t select it. So I would stop playing and go back later. Now this time around it constantly is loading but won’t open. I submitted a ticket after turning my phone off and on several times to see if that would help, but it didn’t. I ended up having to delete it and when I went to download it again all of my progress was gone. I’m so disappointed. Sadly I won’t play it again. Update: I was able to play again. And now after a couple years of playing I can’t get my progress back at all. I’ve tried loading it several times and playing the first two games but nothing is working. I loved this game and have spent money on upgrades but now it’s all gone. Update: The Mytona team was able to help me get my game back! I love this game and it’s such a great stress reliever for me!

Fun but expensive. I’ve been playing this game for a while now, through many restaurants and it’s a great game. I like the gameplay and the way each restaurant is so unique even though the concept is still the same. I like that you can join guilds and dress your avatar and the storyline is pretty cute. Aside from the endless popups I think my main concern is that I’ve been having to spend at least 4-5 dollars a week just to progress through the game and not get kicked out of my guild. I’m not a bad player. It’s the gems and each restaurant has upgrades that are getting more and more expensive and requiring more levels to complete. For example the Coconut Coast restaurant requires 80 (eighty!) levels to move on to the next restaurant. I even paid for the golden ticket to get prizes and I’m finding that I have to buy even MORE gems just to get the prizes in time from the golden ticket that I already paid for! How is that fair? Like I said, I really like the gameplay and all, but I’m getting to the point where it’s just too expensive. Opportunity cost and trade-off is just about at my limit. I guarantee I’ve probably spent about $100 on this game so far and I haven’t event played it a year…

I like this game, but there’s some things about this event that annoy me. I love this game. I got this game because of stranger things, but I’ll keep playing after the event ends. I am really annoyed with this event, however. How come the food truck event ends in 2 days, the scoops ahoy in 1, but the whole event ends in 15 days? Now I’m not saying to reduce the time for the whole event, please don’t do that, but why aren’t they all the same time. They should all have 15 days left. I just started this game 2 days ago, so this is really difficult. I finally got to level 5 on the cake shop, so I can do the scoops ahoy event, but it costs 4 tickets every time! There are 15 levels, which means I have to do the levels at my cake shop and then the next places 60 TIMES! And that’s not even including the times I fail, because then it’s ANOTHER 4. In total, I’ll probably have to do the levels 100 TIMES. On top of that, I have the food truck, which is 15 levels as well, and there’s a long wait every time you lose your lives. Now I’m fine with this, but not when there’s also the scoops ahoy quest. I’ll remove my review if you fix these things, but right now, I’m really annoyed, because I can’t complete many of these things. Please extend the time to 15 days like the actual event.

Cool game but gems is an issue. When I first started playing this game, I really enjoyed it and the storyline is interesting and great too. However the only thing that is a bummer and I know I am not the only one who has said this, but it’s the fact that to upgrade the kitchen not only do you need to use the coins you have, you also need to use the gems too. This I find is a bit difficult because it’s not as easy to gain gems as it is to gain coins. So maybe my suggestion to keep this game going and make it better is hopefully just have the coins themselves be the only thing needed to upgrade the kitchen so it will make it easier and have the gems used for other special things or upgrades. Especially when the levels increase and get harder to beat and you need to upgrade the kitchen and you don’t have enough gems, you then have to be forced to pay for them and if you still don’t have enough gems after you do, where you have to spend another 99 cents for example is getting to just be pointless and not worth it. There are other ways to use gems but just not constantly along with coins to upgrade kitchen items. I hope you creators can reconsider and make it better and easier for us the gamers who love to play this game because it is pretty good!

Rubies. This game is very enjoyable and I got addicted fast. Like many other games you have a usual coin currency and then a special ruby currency. You need rubies to upgrade ingredients and appliances which isn’t a problem at first because they are relatively easy to come by when you first start. Now it’s still possible to get rubies but it takes a lot of time (unless you’re willing to throw some money at the game) and the amount of rubies rewarded doesn’t feel worth the task given for the amount of time and levels you’d have to play to get them (like serving 1150 plates of one dish for 5 rubies). Also I don’t understand why the coin currency changed when you make it to the next map. Now I’m not using the original coins for anything but still collecting revenue from those restaurants. I suggest an option to be able to exchange coins for rubies, that way the coins don’t go to waste as I’m not using the ones from the first map and I’ve already gotten more than enough in the second one. The only thing I’m falling short on in this game is rubies which is frustrating when you need them for all of the upgrades, especially when the next restaurant requires more coins and rubies for upgrades. The amount of coins you earn increases but the rubies adversely become harder to obtain. At the least I would like if the ruby rewards were higher and/or the ruby requirements for upgrades were lowered.

Cooking Diary. Great game! I love how all the customers and all the characters have their own unique flawless detailed looks! Fancy hair, nice outfits, cool accessories. BUT there is one MAJOR flaw though. They don’t look realistic at all to me. Oh actually there is another major flaw. It skips sometimes. All I want to do is play an awesome cooking game that’s completely different from all the rest but when it skips like that I can’t very well do that. So those two things should be fixed. Thanks! Oh and I’d suggest more main characters. There are only like two. My character/cooker and her cooking grandpa. But I LOVE the name of the town/city! Which is tasty hills. Cooking diary is an amazingly awesome game but.... I think cooking diary via an awesome game but there is a few things I would like to fix. First the ads for the game are nothing like the actual game the first time I got the game I thought you could level up yourself that’s what it showed me when I saw the add for it. The next ad I saw for showed a a moving belt like the one at the grocery store and had to take the stuff of the belt and give it to the people in the game you have to actually cook the food not get it off a belt. Please give us ads that actually represents the game.😕😕 The next thing is I never ever run out of time when I play the game and I have never burnt stuff but I never get and any of that blue money that you get like come on.😒😒 You can use that blue money to get new clothes and shoes and stuff like that i have been playing for 6 months and I still have not gotten any new clothes or anything. I am not a fashionista and I don’t need to get any new clothes but still make it more fun for everybody else. Super addicting and fun for a few weeks...then just frustrating and $$ hungry. I was so excited when I found this game. I was having so much fun playing it for the first few weeks. The animation is super cute, I love customizing the restaurants, and it’s satisfying to beat the levels. I was fine spending a few dollars on it because I was having fun, but as I advanced in the game, it became clear that I would have to spend a LOT more money to make progress. I realized this when they changed currency in the next district - I now have over 100,000 coins that are useless. You should at least be able to spend these old coins in the wheel of fortune to have a chance to get gems. To get the needed gems without spending real cash, you’d have to spend HOURS completing the same levels you’ve already played 100 times to get the measly 10 gems from a completed challenge - that’ll get you *one* upgrade in the more advanced restaurants (if that). Serve 1000 croissants? Guess I’ll have to play the same old bakery 200 times while earning useless coins. So annoying. Also, the story is pointless. They bring in all these random characters and there’s no real storyline and it doesn’t even relate to your journey as a chef, so why have it? Such lazy writing. And the ads to spend money in the game are CONSTANT. I’ve reached my limit with this game. No way am I going to spend real money on it again - way too repetitive and no incentive to finish the story.

AMAZING game. First off, great game. It’s very fun and very time consuming. But I still love it.😊 I also love the avatar editor. The outfits are really cute and fun! Although I do have a few complaints, just for the record, I still love this game. My first complaint is the clothing. I know what your thinking, “You where just raving about how good the outfits where.” Well yes the outfits are still AMAZING but the actual tab for it is locked till after some time. I wish the tab could open sooner. Also once you get the tab to open, you have to WAIT for some sections to be able to use such as the pet section and the shop. Another thing I want to add it the gems. The gems take A LONG time to earn. I wish that you could get gems more often even though they can be earned on daily login streak and wheel of fortune. Still... I just want to get more gems. The last thing I wanna add is something that isn’t necessarily about a glitch or a ad problem (which BTW there are like zero ads) or something like that. It’s actually something the players have been doing quite recently. On the guilds people have been putting “Dating guilds”. I don’t like that because there could be little kids coming across that and PRETEND DATING. That’s only something you would do as an adult. That’s pretty much it but please maybe fix these problems. Very good but some complaints. The only reason I am not giving this a five stars is because some things in the game are really annoying. Earning rubies is really hard unless you pay money, and even when you watch adds, you only get 1! I have three pets in the game, but they don’t help much. They just give me a couple banknotes and maybe some other things, but pretty much never give me rubies! So I am just spending a bunch of rubies to make them happy, even though I could be using those rubies to help me! Also, I don’t like how the pets can lose happiness even when you aren’t playing. That makes it virtually impossible to make them happy and still upgrade your restaurants without spending a bunch of money to buy rubies. If you could make the pets useful, like have them help you in the kitchen or at least get rubies from them, the game would be a lot better. Once every like 3-4 weeks you get a large gift of rubies, but that is really rare. If you could make it easier to get the things that the pets need, that would be really helpful. Overall, it is a good game, but if you could make the pets more useful, make it easier to get rubies without spending a bunch of money, and not have the pets lose happiness when you aren’t playing, this would be an excellent game. Honestly, I would rate this game 3 1/2 stars if I could, but I have to settle for this. Please fix this!

Favorite game for years!. I love love love time management games. I’ve downloaded my fair share over the years, but but nothing comes close to Cooking Diary. I have been playing for 3 years. So many levels, so many bonus games, i.e. food trucks, and competitions. Only ads are when you want to speed up a purchase, get more lives etc. no random ads that pop up in order to get to the next level EVER. Many in game purchases available, but you don’t have to purchase. Only if you want to! The best part is the levels are not super easy! They are not impossible by any means, and there’s so many boosters and upgrades to select from. Just need gems to purchase, and you win those by beating certain levels and participating in certain events. They are also constantly updating the app, which is great Bc there’s always new add ons, and it shows that the creators care. I am obsessed with Cooking Diary to say the least. Just wanted to take the time to thank the creators of this game, and to share how much I love it to others. If you’re still reading, don’t hesitate to download. You won’t regret it!

Impossible to play after awhile without spending significant money. This was a great game until I beat maybe 4-5 restaurants. The cost of upgrades keeps getting more and more expensive and it seems like there are less rubies to be earned. I wouldn’t mind spending a little money every now and then but $1 for 10 rubies! It won’t even buy you one upgrade you need at the Golden Dragon restaurant I am at now!! It’s so frustrating. And also, I used to be able to watch videos to speed up delivery of upgrades or be able to speed up asking for help from my guild and now it asks me for a ridiculous amount of rubies. I thought this game was maybe going to be different since the first few restaurants seemed fair and reasonable. But it’s just like every other game. The daily reward is only 2 rubies! And then spinning the wheel almost always gets me 5 measly tickets, sometimes 1-2 rubies. It’s very frustrating. And why did the currencies change? Now I have so many useless coins. What’s the point to keep accumulating them. I’m going to play until I really get stuck (which I imagine will happen soon when it would probably take me 2 weeks to save up for one upgrade which would only help for a few levels. It’s incredibly frustrating when you should beat a level because you serve every customer, have no angry customers, don’t burn or throw out even one dish, and still fail because you don’t have the rubies to upgrade the cost of ingredients.

BEST COOKING APP EVER!! 😍😍😍😍. So I never heard of this game until SSSniperwolf sponsored this game she is a YouTuber. So I downloaded it and OMG I LOVE IT 🥰 best cooking game I have ever had!! I have downloaded many cooking games but they never seem to interest me but this one really takes the cake! I LOVE the story that goes along with it it really makes the game more fun and interesting I have never seen a cooking game with a story line and well that’s just the beauty of it. And I also LOVE how you have your own characters! I love it how you can be creative in your own way to make your own restaurants and your own character! I played many cooking games where the chef is way too plain and you would love to give it a makeover but you can’t. Just two flaws with the game the first one is that it HEAVILY tells you on your screen “Do you want to buy 100 rubies” all the time! It’s super annoying then when you try to click out it says “ Do you want to miss this special offer?” I know it’s a free game and all but come on. And the other thing is that in my opinion there should be more free clothes I’m being honest right now there is only one free outfit ONE! Can you at least put a little bit more? But other than that I think this is THE BEST COOKING GAME IN HISTORY IF NOT I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS! 😍😍😍😍 ❤️💜💞💝💓💗💖💘💕💙💚❣️💛 😅

BEWARE: Super Addictive!!. I absolutely love this game. I’m not the type to get addicted to games but since I’ve started this one, I have been completely engrossed. Now the only downfall is the rubies, and the time it takes to be able to request assistance especially when you have a guild quest that you need assistance to complete. I have spent so much money on buying rubies at some point during the game I think it would suffice to be able to trade old coins from old towns to rubies for new towns, as many rubies as it takes to upgrade items they will run out quick and you’ll need to still buy more so it’s not completely unreasonable. The old levels are not really played and the money won’t be needed because the items are all upgraded so it’s coins for no reason that I can’t use on any other level across the map. Think about it. Plus it would keep people playing more because they won’t lose levels for not having rubies to be able to upgrade which means they will be more apt to purchasing small amounts of rubies more often to be able to upgrade items. But besides that the game is absolutely amazing and you guys did an awesome job!! UPDATE: A year later and I still feel the same way!!! This game is a must. I put it down for about two months and picked it back up...and I’m once again all the way addicted!! You’ll love it!

Hours of Addicting Fun. This game is great. The storylines are fun, the animation is bright and updates frequently for seasons and holidays. I spend hours serving up food to patrons and developing my restaurants. I would give 5 stars, but there are just a few things that irritate me enough to stay at 4. The need for gems increases as your levels increase. The ability to win enough to fully upgrade your restaurants are few and far between. Additionally, there are ads you can watch to augment your restaurant develop times as you upgrade, which made it easier, faster and funnier to quickly improve your cooking speeds and earning potential; however one you get to a certain level that ends and you are forced to wait up to 8 hours for upgrades which limits what you can do in your newest restaurant. Gems are expensive and I have been impulsive and spent money to more quickly and efficiently update my stuff, but if you’re patient you can get by with the free gems earned during game play. I love the variety of games within the game. There are team challenges, individual challenges and all kinds of mini games that keep things exciting. This is a great game. I wish gems weren’t so expensive and difficult to get and I wish I still had ads to help push the game along but these negatives aren’t enough to keep me from playing every day. It’s fun, relaxing and you’ll enjoy playing it.

Best game but a tiny complaint. Ok to be straight, I got addicted fast as heck, and I love this game, but the prices are a little high. Seriously though, 2.99 for just a kitty bank!? I can buy like, three songs on iTunes for that price. And these special offers (take the kitty bank for example because it’s going on right now but will end like in 2 hrs) barely last that long. I went on a Vacation with my family for two weeks and when i got this game, the “kitty-bank” had like maybe 5 days left at the time. Yeah I know you can’t run these things forever and yeah you wanna make more money with the offers but the southern key was 9 bucks like seriously, I bought myself an entire meal with that money. (10 bucks whatever it’s a one dollar difference) Maybe it doesn’t sound like a huge deal but I had 2.77 left in my iTunes and I hadn’t found any iTunes cards in stores while I was on VC. So I couldn’t buy the kitty bank or the southern key. I’m getting on my flight back to the US soon but all the special deals will end before I arrive and get some iTunes cards. Please if you read this please re-enter the kitty bank for just a month or two. Thanks for making a great game though, congrats developers!!

Worth it but one issue. This game is absolutely the best! I love cooking games and once I found this game I couldn't stop playing. I lose track of time all the time and have gotten yelled at by my parents but this game is so worth it. I could play this all day long and I love how you don’t always have to worry about gems. We can watch an add and get a gem, spin the wheel and get a gem, play events and open chests and get gems. This game is seriously the best game I have EVER played! They say that teens shouldn't play games but I am obsessed with this game and the creators were really creative and put a lot of effort into this amazing game. Just one issue I have is that it says inviting friend's gets you gems. I invited 5 friends but after my first friend, it stoped giving me gems. I got really frustrated because I wasted my friends time and they did it again and again. They even played 6 levels so I can get the gems but I never did. At last they said it’s just a scam for people to get to play the game. I love the game but maybe that could be worked on and I could be the happiest person with this game. This game is awesome but needs a few changes.. I absolutely love this game. By far the best cooking app I’ve played and it’s very addicting. I’ve been playing this game for about 6 months maybe and it’s still very enjoyable. I have paid like 8 bucks which I normally don’t pay for games but I wanted to get more gems and a cute Halloween outfit so I did. To anyone reading this make sure before you go into a new district spin the wheel and get rid of your coins because I have so many unused coins from the first few districts. I would suggest to the developers to find a use for the coins because I’m still able to collect but can’t do anything with them. Now that I’m up there in levels it makes it harder to upgrade my restaurant. You can go back and do certain tasks to get gems but it takes a while and sometimes I get stuck cause I don’t upgrade the restaurants all the way. I don’t use my bank notes for anything but decor and now you have to use gems to upgrade the decor that doesn’t seem fair. Also with the new update there is no time in between quests and it’s honestly too much. I usually play everyday for about an hour or more but some days I don’t have time to play and it makes it hard to contribute to quests. With the new update it won’t download. Not sure if this happening to everyone or just me.

The gems are the downfall. I’ve been playing this game for over a year cause it is a fun well made game. It becomes addicting and honestly sometimes challenging but nonetheless still fun. The reason for the three stars is due to how much you have to invest real money to move forward. (Which I have) . There should be a way for players to earn gems without leaving it to chance on the “daily wheel” or daily challenges or finishing a story. The user gets coins like crazy but not gems that you need to level up each restaurant. Not only that the furniture and tools you need to buy to level up restaurants also cost coins and gems. You can buy gems and literally use them all up within 3 minutes due to the things you need to “buy” to level up. Not only that but every single day you will get a pop message with offers to buy more “candy”, “coins”, “gems”, etc... to get your money. I understand that Apple takes a fee and I understand that the team behind the game needs to get paid, but dear gods, a game as good as this one should find away to fix the gem issue. I don’t know maybe award the user a gem every hour? Or every two hours? Something! I would rather buy the game if it means not needing to buy the gems, but let’s be real, that is not going to happen. Is a smarter business move to have people buy gems over and over again than a one time payment of $3.99 plus tax.

Rude Customer/Rubies. I love this game! The a guild leader and we have fun! Come to Holy Pepperoni if you’re looking for an active guild home! I want to complain about the white privileged, rude, impatient customer that makes the game unnecessarily uncomfortable. He comes with an attitude because he’s in a rush and thinks he should be served first! That’s so unfair. I work in food irl and I do have some of those customers but I wish to escape that rude and uncomfortable part of real life. I do not wish to have it in a game as well. He has the power to ruin an entire game or cause your turbo chef session to end when he’s ordering the whole restaurant with 2 hearts. That’s ludacris! This should be dealt with, at least give him 3 hearts or take him and his attitude all out together. Rubies. A necessity. It’s so hard to get them or at least get enough for an upgrade. Levels impossible to pass. I’ve really loved playing this game and all the features it comes with!! The only catch is levels become near impossible to pass and you have to spend a ridiculous amount of rubies to even come close! The ratio of winning rubies to spending them is way off and it would be advised that the developers look at how hard they’re making levels. It goes past having a challenge and a little competition.

Harder and harder to complete stages. I have been playing this game on and off for a few years now. It is super addictive but I do find it harder and harder to get through stages. With some stages, I’ve upgraded almost everything and still couldn’t complete it. Once you are stuck with a stage, you also couldn’t get the daily bonuses by completing stages. It’s as if they have purposely made it this way so you have to spend money to get the rubies. I’m close to giving up on this game.

It’s becoming impossible. I have had an continue to play this game for years now, but this latest update is making it impossible to advance. Reducing the tips you earn, customers losing hearts quicker, slowing down the speed of the character plus needing to upgrade multiple kitchen appliances every level is making it not worth playing anymore. If you upgrade 3 appliances that increase price points and still can’t get past the next level, your algorithm is wrong… I get that it’s increasingly gotten harder each upgrade to encourage the purchase of in app enhancements, but this has pushed it too far!

Money Grabber. I’ve been playing this game a few years and at first I really enjoyed it but now I’m ready to quit unless things change. The developers rely on the addictive nature of this game, they make it impossible to pass levels unless you pay money for rubies. At first I didn’t mind but now it’s becoming more and more expensive each upgrade. They have added exceptionally hard levels that are impossible to pass unless you pay. They have taken away the permanent ‘instant delivery’ when you purchase a Golden ticket and replaced it with occasional 12hr windows. They have added extra decor items that you must purchase with rubies in order to pass even easy levels. It’s a shame that money is the main driving force behind this game because once upon a time it was fun.

Really great game!. I have nothing to pick about it. So much fun. Fast paced and it lets you upgrade without thinking you HAVE to spend real money. You can watch ads to gain diamonds and you can earn them through the game so you don’t feel obligated to spend. I enjoy this game above all games and I have had bones to pick about previous games where you enjoy it until you get to higher levels where you are forced to spend money. This is not that at all. Well done to the game creators.

Review. I love this game so much. I had to delete from my phone as it froze and I couldn't continue playing. I had 6 restaurants and was very far into the game so it was frustrating. I can't fault the game so far, I think it's really well done and it allows you to keep playing without paying $$$ unlike some games. It does freeze at times, not sure if that's from my end or the game has a slight glitch. Anyway, thumbs up from me😄😄

New restaurant opening is too cheeky and unhelpful. I think there must be a new pop-up installed in the game where when new restaurant is ready to be opened it automatically popped up, it suggests to click. This is the second restaurant now that I opened when I wasn’t ready, thinking the game asked me to collect coins from previous restaurants. Both times when I was on the roll of winning streak so I just wanted the pop up disappear so I could quickly go back to the game. I hate this cuz I couldn’t play as much and I got stuck all the time. I normally fully upgraded the restaurants first and collected all challenges on serving items before I opened a new restaurants. You keep doing this and I can’t finish upgrading the last 2 of my previous restaurants I don’t like it. Please stop this pop up. I’ll open the restaurant when I’m ready. Losing days in and days out cuz I don’t have enough rubies makes this game boring and it’s a shame if I have to stop playing cuz I enjoy my guild mates

Great game, no fakes. I really like this game, i’ve been obsessed with playing it and i just downloaded it yesterday. It isn’t like those games that have a fake ad and when you play it, its totally different. This game is straight on and i love the upgrades and how you can have different shops around town. It doesn’t have the game that looks like candy crush like the others. Which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE. you even get to customize how your chef looks, i love it.

Good once upon a time. I started playing this game a few years ago and entirely enjoyed it since you could still play without needing to spend money and if you just wanted gems you’d have to grind and play a lot of levels. But since I started playing again recently I noticed with the new update there’re difficult levels and even insane level which makes it so hard to pass them. Every restaurant has these once they’ve passed a certain number and because of these insane levels I cannot complete the achievements and it makes it so hard to get the gems now. The difficult levels are hard but still manageable but the insane ones are so difficult that no one is fooled that the developers are just forcing players to spend more money to pass the levels. It’s fun to have a little challenge but at this point it’s over the limit where you’re just infuriating players because you’re just making the game harder than it should be for your own profit and I can assure you the game is not fun anymore.

Very expensive game and addictive. I don’t suggest anyone download this game if you’re likely to get addicted to playing it as you will spend lots of money on in app purchases. This game was fun in the beginning until they took away the chance to watch ads to shorten the wait time for an upgrade or to get rubies. It is very expensive as you progress to other restaurants to upgrade an item. The first or second upgrade of one item is between 15-22 rubies and that’s just one item. You have no chance of winning enough to service your whole restaurant so you’ll most likely need to pay for additional rubies. It’s quite a rip off.

Awesome game with no ads. Finally a game I can play and ads aren’t popping up every 1 minute, at the end of a level you can choose to watch an ad to double your points but finally I have the choice whether to watch them or just play the game! Which is why you download a game, to play it, not to watch ads. Similar to Cooking Fever but I like this better because you don’t need to spend money to advance.

Love the game, but is costing me $$$$. I love the game, it’s addictive and the guilds are SUCH a great idea to be competitive and connect with other players. The mini games (Chreightons Challenge, Adams Baking Contest, Turbo Chef Mode, Food Truck Challenge) are so much fun and keep it interesting outside the main game. The pets are a super cool addition also I love collecting cards and upgrading pets. However to keep having to buy gems in order to have a quality gaming experience. I would appreciate a member alike feature where we can subscribe to a monthly or weekly amount and we are rewarded with daily ‘membership’ perks like gems, boosts, pet cards etc etc. I think it would really attract a lot of customers and i’d be able to afford this game longer. Because as it stands, it’s becoming to expensive as the restaurants demand more gems as you progress

The game kicks me out. When I was playing the game it kicked me out. I had just finished one of levels and I didn’t think it was that big of a deal, because that happens in a lot of games. When I logged back in, it took me back to the level I just completed before it kicked me out. I did that level again and the same thing happened. Other than that it is really fun game, and this glitch is probably a one time thing.

Wooooow slow down. I love it. This game makes me start to think and my brain get’s switched on. It is soo real and has soo many features you just keep want to play. I like how the diary tells you whether to like someone and more about them. Then the decor is free! You just need to pass levels. And I like the way you get to chat with other people in the guild as when something happens I can tell them. And you can request an assistant. Just one thing. The Dimonds are hard to get and when you want to upgrade something they ask for a lot of them. So if you pay almost all the diamonds get used up. So I think people should make it easier to get diamonds .

Paying for items. The game is great but unfortunately you have to pay for items! It would be great to have at least one game that you can actually play and have fun without paying for things! Unfortunately this game isn’t one of them! Time to delete the game and more on but I still give it a 4 star as the game is great it’s just a disappointment you have to pay for the items when you are unemployed and can find work due to Covid 19!

Good Game But…. 1. This is a good game but I think it could have less costumers waiting for their food at at time. 2. Also could the costumers have a little bit more patience for their food to come. 3. Could you adjust the game so that it is not a game where you can chat, play and see other players scores. 4. Make the food makers and stove quicker at making food. 5. Put more staff in the kitchen to be able to cook quicker.

Best game EVER!. This is literally my favourite game, and if you don’t trust me try it for yourself. I don’t know about others but I don’t need wifi to play the game, there are a few to NO ads at all. It’s not like any other cooking game, there are more things to prepare and cook which makes it super fun. I really like cooking in real life too so I get to connect with my hobbies more. And I love the events/updates for prizes. This is my absolute game, not like any other ^^

Good game but bring back ads. Really enjoyed this game and the entire concept — not just the typical serve and upgrade — you get a number of stories and get to participate in competitions alongside others playing! I use to play the game every day and the app grants you chances of upgrading your store without having to spend money by winning diamonds and notes to spend however most recently they have removed the option to fasten your purchases by ads as well as the option to watch ads for more diamonds which has upset many users along with myself and when question on social media they suggest the app “at random” chooses who and when the ads pop up however this never occurred the first 3 weeks I played up until the most recent update???? This has caused me to no longer want to play the game anymore because some upgrades can take up to 8 hours and you can’t earn enough money or achieve the result to pass the goal because your store isn’t upgraded

It’s an alright game…. I really like this game! It’s one of my favourite games and it’s super addicting! I stopped playing as much when they updated the cake shop though.. I get confused very easily so the pastel colours all blended together confuses me and I often loose the levels. Personally I think it was better when it was the bright and more defined style as it was easier to concentrate and matched the rest of the stores.. just my opinion tho! Fantastic game otherwise! 😊

Best game ever.. Just one thing, I was really upset when I saw that different districts have different coins. Could you pretty please add a feature where you could you trade coins? For example: 20 Yellow coins —> 5 pink coins. Please… I just hate it when games do that 😭 because I often have a lot of coins (like 50,000) and then it resets. Please do something. Other than this, this game is really good. Compared to lots of other good cooking games I have played, (like cooking fever and cooking madness) this is the best cooking game. Grind game. As a Cooking diary player who hasn’t spend real money AT ALL on this game, I must say upgrading your kitchen equipments takes A LONG TIME. There are also lots of equipments that needs gems and for someone who doesn’t buy gems and actually earns it, it takes a lot of time. Overall, great game, there’s a storyline, can communicate with friends etc. Would like to see some more ways to earn money and gems and also gifts!😁😁😁

Great game but some problems. Hope you can fix up some bugs in this game soon. I’m doing the restaurant in “the heart of tropic” ( idk if this is right name in English, I’m playing in un-English version). The main is gilled chicken breast and another red meat that I haven’t unclock yet. What I want to say is that the drinks are separate machines but they can level up together. However, I level them up, only one machine getting upgraded, another didn’t. I tried restart the game or re-download it, but it not works. Hope you can fix it up soon. Plus, at the first stock investment playing, the drinks can be added on some ingredients like the mains. But we can’t actually add them on so that I have to give up. I literally just wish this game can bring me more fun, not such bugs. Please fix them soon. Thanks

First Impressions. The first time i saw the Cooking Diary Ad, I was really annoyed, plus when I first saw the ad I already had Cooking Fever. So then I kept seeing the ad over and over again, and as I was seeing the ad over and over again I was starting to get interested in the ad so I downloaded it and let me tell you. That was the best decision in my life, I’ve always wanted to have a game like this and im so glad a company was smart enough to think about creating this type of game. I dont play mobile games often but I can definitely see myself being addicted to this game! And as I was playing the game cause I just downloaded Cooking Diary I actually said this out loud “This is so much fun”. But. There’s always a ‘but’, so the only problem 𝐈 have with the game, are the choices, when you first make your character. I dont know if you can buy more choices as you level up, because like I said I just downloaded Cooking Diary! Ok, im gonna continue playing Cooking Diary now! Bye!

Astounding. Cooking Diary is an exceptional game to play and cures your boredom instantly. As soon as I played the first level I was hooked to the game. It has so many adventures and levels for you to accomplish and the stories are amazingly exciting. I would recommend this game from a random stranger and classmates to my closest friends and my family. That’s how good this game really is. MYTONA did an amazing job👍🤩😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m quite surprised!. I’ve been seeing ads for the game for so long, that I finally gave in and downloaded it... it’s way better than I expected! So many games these days have free to play but you have to use so called “energies” to play a level, making advancements in the game take forever! Best thing? No ads! I love no pop up ads! This game is the closest thing to the original Diner Dash game that’s free! I’m so glad I gave it a shot, thanks developers! :)

Beware-this game is a cash grab. I like this game but it seems to be a cash grab as some levels are impossible to get through without rubies or upgrades yet to get enough rubies to do this you need to pay real money. The food trucks are a massive cash grab. Don’t waste your time with these events as the developers make it impossible to progress through the levels of food trucks without paying real money for rubies. Even then you cannot make it through the next level and then must start back at the beginning of the last checkpoint. It’s an impossible cycle unless you are willing to fork out ALOT of money. Very disappointing. Developers are getting greedy.

Fun but costly. I absolutely love the game, but unless you are willing to spend money weekly on it don’t expect to get to far. It has a variety of games challenges meeting places teams and just about everything in between but really all cost something to get the best out of. Anyway I like it and am willing to pay but you can make up your own mind.

Grab for cash with constant crashes. This used to be a fun game but now you have to wade through nearly 10 cash spend adds before even starting the game. Then adds are used for speeding up play but half of them crash the game or worse luck it up. The greed shown by the developers has made this unplayable and the constant competitions (a three day competition usually involving recent restaurant levels which require costly expansions and only a few hours before the next one begins) has made most players sick of the game and pressure for team play. My advise is to enjoy the earlier levels then delete the game entirely as its a massive cash grab!!

Beware of this game. To all my friends and Facebook people: Re Cooking Diary: I can't believe what the game developers have done with their latest supposed improved update! I spent good money, REAL money, on rubies to upgrade all my restaurants to 100%. And what do you do? No, you don't do anything that makes us players happy, such as make more restaurants, instead you just keep raising the benchmark. My 100% restaurants have all been put back to 75%, earnings from restaurants have been HALVED! and where once you could pass a level, now it is almost impossible. You have totally ruined the game for me and I refuse to play it EVER again. You can't keep changing the rules, no wait! Yes you can, you're the developers. Well, you know what? You are thieving developers, and not even the so -called free gift of 50 rubies, which I now see as a bribe, after the upgrade is going to make me feel any different. I am deleting your game right now, and I am going to post this as a public post on your Facebook page, the App Store, and my page. Sure, I am going to lose out with the money I spent, but better to quit now than to keep enabling you leeches 😡

Stupid purple levels. Get rid of these stupid, ridiculous purple levels NOW, do you people even play this game? Without spending a ton of boosters and gems (which equals real money) they are pretty much impossible to complete, rendering you completely stuck from moving on in that restaurant, I don’t know why this was added, the game was perfectly fine up til now, I’ve seen some extremely experienced players struggling with these stupid levels, the red difficult levels are bad enough but these purple ones are just a money grabbing ridiculous farce, I’ll be deleting this game if you don’t rectify this, absolutely stupid, not impressed

Scams away diamonds!. The game is awesome but it just keeps eating away my diamonds/rubies for no reason! Bought 70 diamonds in game and save up at least 48 from rewards and ended up being eaten for no reason at all! The diamonds ain’t easy to earn too! That’s why it’s so not cool! I notice that every time I lose a level I lose at least 10 diamonds, even if I still have lives and didn’t click on the extra 20 seconds to complete the level. Hoping the developers do something about it because the game is addictive and fun.

Family Fun!. I started the game 6 months ago and fell in love with it. Now my husband and mum play it too. We all enjoy the challenges and have made a guild that makes the game more enjoyable. We set aside a time during the day where we all sit down and have game time to smash guild goals and meet new gaming friends. Definitely 5 star. On a side not without purchasing rubies it can get frustrating but we Pursue and achieve what we need to.

I love this game it’s so fun you can communicate with other people the guild I joined has really nice people and they can help you cooking in the kitchen and yeah it’s nice you get to give candies out to give the costumers more patience and you can give them mystery dishes and you can ride on roller skates and it’s really easy to get coins a gems and you get to meet lots of interesting people and you can read stories about them in the diary. Good to play but little to no help with things go wrong. I enjoy playing the game. I find it to be incredibly challenging to earn money and rubies. It seems to be a never ending circle sometimes with trying to upgrade and get to the next chapter so you have some rubies. I’m incredibly frustrated because I’ve wasted about 25 rubies in upgrades and when I come back to play the game with my new and improved equipment or prices, the upgrade has not gone through and I’m left without upgrade, money or rubies. When I mentioned it the first time I was helped out. The second and third time I was met with a response basically telling me I was lying. Im competitive and will not resort to lying or cheating in any game - so at this stage I don’t want to play and I won’t be recommending this game to anyone if I spend the rewards from playing it and get absolutely nothing back!

Game Play. This game is great, was first looking for a free game to play till pay day, found this and have enjoyed it. There’s plenty of in app purchases (which I’ve been considering for lil added enjoyment) and they’re not pushed in your face, it’s great ! I can’t wait to see more challenges as I progress (lvl 5 atm, noooooo complaints) It’s an interesting rush game with a lil personalisation and guild fun. A great game if you can’t commit all 7 days, you can always get back to it and continue to progress just like any other player. Highly recommend play on large screen tech. 👍

Suggested improvements. This is a good game and I enjoy playing it. An annoyance that I have encountered is that the restaurants do not show their names in the map. So when you are trying to obtain achievements it is hard to actually find the restaurant that you wish to go to. This would be much better if u could just click on the achievement you are seeking to fulfill and it takes you to the appropriate restaurant. Or alternatively, even though less user friendly show the name of the restaurant in the map so that you can identify where to go.

Love this game!. Iv had this game for almost a year now and I really love it! There are so many levels and they bring out new updates all the time. Even though this game has what seems like never ending levels they don’t get impossible to complete. I was addicted to this game when I first downloaded it and I normally get board of games like this really quickly but the storyline kept things interesting. Even if you don’t follow the story line it’s still very entertaining! I also love my guild and the extra bonus we get working together online. I highly recommend this game.

Stop making everything cost rubies. Getting sick of everything being made to cost rubies! I really enjoy this game, and when I started, you could speed up purchases by watching ads, then it went to spending rubies. Then you could buy new clothes using the blue notes, now it’s rubies! I don’t mind spending rubies, and I put real money into the game, but where do you draw the line?! I really want to see the daily special clothes go back to blue notes!! Best game ever !!!!!😍🥰😜. Dear creators of this game, I personally think that this is the best game that I have ever seen as it is challenging but fun at the same time. I’m here to say in this letter a big thank you for creating this game I love how you made an option for you to create and put clothing on your avatar. There are no ads unless you really want a diamond. You can watch an ad and get a diamonds or money, but the best thing about this game is the cooking part it is so exciting seeing your next restaurant and it is so exciting seeing the food and I love how you get to create your own home and go out to the park. I also love how this game has what ever season four for say, if it was Christmas Halloween or Easter something similar would be on the game like a Christmassy food truck or Halloween decorations to the park. it’s so cool seeing how these changes change every time you go onto this app I love this game and I hope you do too ! I loved it! (I got really interested by the doggy ad idk why). Wow! I really loved the game, I don’t like REALLY impatient customers and I saw a dog in the ad hat got me interested by the game. At first I was annoyed because I hate pop-up ads, I kept getting interested by the ad until the dog ad (It was so cute!) I have played cooking fever before but I kept getting up unsatisfied customers. Nowadays I keep getting satisfied customers! I have played it the day I’m writing the review. I hope that there will be new updates on the kitchen stuff because I got all of the stuff HIGH quality.

Actually kinda cute. It’s a fun game that’s addicting to play, the characters are quite cute and the meal preparing is easy. I am a bit unhappy with the characters design as it’s limited, the whole “guild” is the exact same as any other game and isn’t that unique, I find it rather difficult to complete guild tasks as they won’t show up. It easy to earn diamonds and decorate the store. Introducing characters and dialogue is a bit chunky and out of place but the storyline and personality makes up for it.

Avoid!. What is with the developers of this game? I along with other players have left feedback a number of times telling them the game is all but impossible to progress in. The standard response is that our feedback is important to them and they’ll take it into consideration when they do the next update. Well the next update arrived a few days ago and it was done with blatant disregard to their players feedback. The kitchens have now changed so we have to learn them all over again, the level I had been struggling with for days has now been made even harder, the customers moods decline more rapidly, the coins received from guild member help have been halved, no wardrobe combo bonuses anymore and it keeps going. Avoid this game at all costs. Ramsay Dash however is awesome and is made by a developer that actually listens to their players.

Fairly fun to play… while you can. This game is fun, and I get how it’s “equal” in your minds as to free to play versus pay to play. But it’s not. This game is so glitchy. Watch an ad to speed up (dozens of times), to unlock decorations etc. yet the ads barely work. You end up watching about 5+ ads that don’t count to anything, and crash your game, and don’t get any reward. At one point I quit the game in a rage after 7 ads in a row screwed up. You also end up spending over 80 gems in order to “upgrade” as needed and it still won’t pass. Those 80 gems, without money, would’ve taken days, weeks, super luck etc. and that’s just to pass one level! It’s definitely weighted to make people spend money, which is disgusting. Over all, fix the ads, allow people to enjoy your game with or without extra money….

Addictive, but expensive. If you think this game is “free”, think again. Some games you can play to a high level without paying for any in-app purchases, but not this one. Once you get beyond the first few levels, you absolutely cannot progress without rubies, and you can’t earn enough rubies, you need to pay for them. And the further you get into the game, the more rubies you need to buy upgrades. So be prepared, if you’re going to play this game it’s going to end up costing you hundreds.

Surprised!. Really like this, like other reviewers I was very wary getting into 5is game but gave it a shot! It’s actually quickly becoming my fave game! It’s very fast paced and the story isn’t something you only get snippets of every 50 levels (looking at you merge games) it’s very easy to understand and fun! Loving the story so far, and the fact you get to design your character! Omg, love it

Feedback. I really like this game, and it has the potential to be even better. The main aspect that could be improved is the gems, it’s rather annoying to have to have ‘the kittybank’ and put in all the effort for the gems and not get them. There isn’t even an option to decline the offer of ‘the kittybank’, which is frustrating because you can’t even earn gems like how you naturally would (because it all goes to the kittybank). And the rate in which you earn gems is ridiculous, you only earn bit by bit by doing so many levels which makes it harder to upgrade equipment and buy decor etc. The game should also have more variety in culture, for example, including a range of different cultures and cuisines to be more inclusive (I’m Persian and there is no middle-eastern cuisine depicted). Overall, it is a great game, but there is always room for improvement. I hope my feedback helps.

Too expensive for me!. I have been playing this game for a number of months now. This is the first time ever I have chosen to spend money on a game because I was enjoying playing. The first purchase was only $1.29, then it went up to $2.99. Now the lowest offer for less gems is a minimum of $7.99, often up to $30 or even over a hundred dollars because the ‘deals’ change all the time. The last upgrade also increased the difficulty of many levels, I have fully upgraded restaurants, with max prestige and cannot pass a level without using boosters. I am still playing, but refuse to spend a cent, enjoyment is no longer there because it’s really hard to pass a level, so I can foresee that I’ll be looking for another game soon. Lots of players are complaining, so I really believe that the developers need to rethink their business model. More people will buy gems if the price remains at a reasonable price!

I saw the ad many times and got sick until today I installed and a wow came on my face sooooo addicting love this also for all items can we pay with only coins and only diamonds for pay since it is a bit hard to earn diamonds😉 what I mean by that is that you can purchase items with diamonds or you can purchase with coins or coins and diamonds! Then this would be even better

Good game but things to consider. Hello I actually have a lot of fun playing this game and am able to communicate with other players. But I do have some things to pick the developers: Bring back the ads for the upgrades. This motivates me to play and earn more to progress the story and make my restaurants the best they can be. What’s the use of each district’s currency when we progress the story and we just keep earning without real use for them? May I suggest to perhaps allow another use for them which I will point out in the next and final point. Pet supplies: I get it that we earn them in quests but ITS NOT ENOUGH. Especially when we accumulate more pets in the collection. Why can’t we use the coins we earn in cooking for upgrades for the same thing for pets. Pets are living creatures and they need supplies to be happy. Levels.. Since new update, there seems to be a glitch and the screen goes in two. Have to close down and restart game. Also keeps asking to update even though I just have.

Need to play completed levels due to crashing .. I am playing cooking diary for almost 2 years and I love this game so much. After the new update, whenever I complete a difficult level or any other levels , after finishing . It shows am completed and ask if I want to double up the money. When I click it , it goes stuck and I need to repeat the whole level again. Its been happening for couple of times . I want to play the games , but need to fix this asap .

Bad update. Just got the newest update and now the game freezes at the end of every level. Brutal!

Upset. This was my favourite game until they changed it. You used to be able to watch an ad to speed up your upgrades but now you have to wait HOURS for the upgrade. It’s the only game I’ve actually spent money on. But I won’t play much anymore. Who wants to wait 4 - 8 hours for an upgrade when it takes hours just to get one Ruby anyway. Disappointed by latest update. I was very thrilled when they decided to come back to the older way to do daily quests (midnight reset and gems were give for finishing a task and not all of them) With the new update they went back with quests resetting every 24 hours that you open the game and you get gems only if you complete ALL daily task. This is clearly an attempt to force us to buy gems and I am very disappointed it really kills the flow of the game and our participation in guild quests because you get way more stock on some levels Please listen to the players and go back to the anniversary update tasks systems

Constant shortage of gems!. I really like this game. From guilds, to restaurants, to stories, to gameplay strategies. It’s all great. However, it’s incredibly hard to have enough gems! The Wheel of Fortune never guarantees any number of gems when spun, and watching ads for (the large sum of) 1 gem is only an available option twice before needing to wait. I understand that developers need money, but there are other ways they get them as well. I’m not saying to abolish the concept of gems, but to make them a little easier to obtain to the non-paying player. We want to enjoy the game too! Gems are needed for upgrades that become arguably essential past a certain level in your restaurant. If there wasn’t such a limit on the amount of gems we can get from ads, that’d be great. Or, if we can buy gems for in-game money, that’d be even better. That way, we could even out the ratio of money to gems. It’s still a great game though!!

Wonderful game ❤️. From challenging levels, to online friends, this game has everything! My only concern is that it is quite difficult to get gems. I never have gems and the wheel of fortune gives you 1-2 gems every 24hrs, or you can pay put it gets quite expensive. Other than that great game!! ❤️👍🏼

Ok. I don't like how it tell you to do things I don't wanna do but it's a great game.

Overall a good game. Love this game, been playing for few years. Only criticism is as the game has developed over time, I find there are too many “activities” so upon opening the game to play everything is trying to load at once and it freezes up. Have to go out and in a couple times before it sorts itself out. Can be frustrating. As well you have to be prepared to spend some cash to obtain the upgrades for rewards and for rubies as well to further yourself in levels.

Terrible update. Why would you completely change a restaurant in the new update? All the food and sides are different so after 50 levels, I have to re teach myself how to make everything based on what things look like

Enjoying the game less and less.. Update: They have made the game more difficult, so I am having to use multiple boosters in almost every level instead of the levels listed as more difficult. This forces me to spend more to get gems for getting more boosters. At the same time gems are $3.99 instead of $2.99. Quite a big jump. These companies are getting greedier all the time. Too bad because it was a good game. If you don’t mind spending lots of money this is a good game. This was my favourite game. However, it is becoming another cash grab. I no longer have the option to watch ads to speed up delivery in the store. They want you to spend more money to get instant delivery or wait a long time for upgrades. This makes it harder to move forward in the game or help in the guild quests. Bring back the days when you could pay for a game just once and not constantly.

Rating for Cooking Diary. This game is inappropriate for kids because they talk about love and everything like that. It is not so much like a big cooking game. So I wouldn’t download this game if I were you.

Not the game it used to be!. Honestly, when I first started playing this game in September 2019, it was amazing, right up to I’d say spring 2020 when they started taking away things from the game, including rubies and other items from the things we PAY FOR in the game. Food truck and PTG rubies all went down significantly as well as rewards. Food truck went down from 20 levels to 15, and the trucks do not include hair styles anymore. The Ruby rewards for completing guild quests were reduced by half, so now it’s not even worth the effort needed to stay in the top 3 spots. They completely removed the free festival store that everyone could compete in and get items in. The keep removing in game games that we liked like turbo chef. They keep altering and adding new stuff to old restaurants and changing the dishes as well, so that you have to relearn everything, update new things (which spends more precious rubies), and added more stuff to the blue diary to complete, which is completely unfair because you shouldn’t be changing old restaurants, nor adding new achievements. Blue notes have become obsolete but we still get receive tons of them. They ruined a few great restaurants that now people hate, like Rock Yum Roll. I have well over 1000 levels played there and once they changed the restaurant completely and added new things, it’s not fun to play in anymore. The game keeps getting harder. Levels are more difficult, level timers have been reduced. The timer patience of customers has sped up, so now they lose patience and hearts quicker. The game is laggy and doesn’t respond when you tap on something. Dishes disappear as you put them down on the cutting boards, pick them up off the cutting boards, or when you go to give them to a customer. You have to tap sometimes 10x before your avatar will do anything! The avatar moves slower. There’s more to complain about but these are some big ticket items ive mentioned that have made people who’ve played the game since it started, leave permanently! I’ve stopped spending money on the game because it’s not fun anymore and our rewards have been significant reduced. It’s almost as if they like to penalize their PAYING CUSTOMERS. This game USED to be fun. I couldn’t put this game down before. I’d play for hours on end, especially when stressed out because it was fun and enjoyable. I would put thousands of dollars into this game to buy VIRTUAL items because it helped me to destress and keep sane. Now, I don’t see the point of spending money as it’s not fun anymore and they keep penalizing paying customers. Quite rude if you ask me. They wouldn’t be where they are today with OUR MONEY. Remember that!

Won’t load after update. Love the game, but after updates, it won’t load past the first screen unless I come to the App Store, search it, and open it from there. After the newest update, it also freezes after every single level. I need to close it out and reopen it through the App Store.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BY THE GREED. I have been addicted to this game since discovering it at the start of the worldwide pandemic, even spent a lot of real money on it but since the last update and the increased difficulty level of the game I NO LONGER enjoy it! The addition of the IMPOSSIBLE (YES…IMPOSSIBLE!!) INSANE level is nothing but the developers greed to fill their pockets (please don’t bother responding with your cookie cutter response saying the level is balanced because it ISN’T!!!!). For the first time I am completely stuck and can’t progress, I can’t help my guild (and I’m the admin) with a quest and the game is NO LONGER FUN! I have used every booster, all sorts of different assistants, all my rubies (which I purchased most of them) and almost every life that I had stored and I can’t pass it. The developers are going to lose a LOT of loyal players who have been playing for a long time….I know because almost all of my guild has expressed their frustration. If the developers THINK this is going to fill their pockets they are wrong….people will just delete and find another game to play!! I suggest they give it some serious thought!!

Not loading. Just updated the game and now it's not loading at all. Just stays on the startup screen. Please fix.

Latest Update BROKE The Game.. Ever since the latest update, I LITERALLY cannot play the game. I start the game and it tries to direct me to the Path to Glory. I I tap the PTG icon and then nothing happens. It’s almost like the game is frozen except everything is still moving around in the background like other customers in my current restaurant but I cannot interact with anything. it’s not like I can avoid it either. Anytime I try to tap anywhere else on the background gets darker and the game highlights the Path to Glory icon so the only thing I can do is tap it and then the game stops working again! I can’t even report this through the game systems because the Settings icon doesn’t respond and it’s been going on for several days, anytime I try to play the game I get directed to Path to Glory and then nothing works.

Fun but too many popups/mini games. You spend the same time on a level exiting pop ups to buy stuff. I get wanting people to buy things but if it’s not diamonds, it’s tickets or tokens for another mini-game, it’s boosters for levels. It’s too much

Best Game You Can Get. I have been playing this game for months now and haven’t ran into a single problem! First off there are no forced ads!!!! If you wanna speed up deliveries or get something extra you can click watch an add! I seen where some people say it gets too hard and you have to pay money; that’s not true; you can go back and complete achievements to earn rubies. Also the whole thing where the currency changes doesn’t really effect much other than to make the game a little bit more challenging, but if you know your on the last level of a world just use your money to spend the wheel. It is weird that you can still collect the old currency but hey it doesn’t make any difference on game function. Also advice don’t use rubies for anything other than kitchen upgrades and use banknotes for decor! And with all that this game is fun as heck and addictive I’ve been playing for an hour and half straight right now and it’s not the first time! I wish all the games made it this easy to play!!

But when i saw the reviews that were way better then the other games I’ve tried i was like ok it seems like a good game so ill try it i went to sleep at 6 in the morning planning this game and i was not tired i got this game yesterday and right now i have 2 restaurants open about to have 3 and that’s so cool because with other games it only gives you 1 restaurant but this one you one you just keep on playing and rearming award then when you finish with restaurant you go to the next there’s a shop and everything people coming in and taking pictures of the food and rating how good it is. No matter what other people say about the restaurant they keep it official and honestly if you don’t want to be obsessed with a game [you will want to do it with this game if you don’t get this game you are missing out] then that’s on you. When i first opened the game i thought this was going to be a stressful game but it’s not for me personally It calmes me. PS YOU CANT HATE THIS GAME EVEN IF YOIU TRY TO JUST TRY IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻

SO FRUSTRATING IM DELETING THE GAME. I had to come back and change my review from 4 to 1 star because this is just unacceptable there are 2 glitches that make this game infuriating and unplayable. Forget about how expensive the gems are, with these glitches it’s literally unplayable. : 1) your assistant Johnathan is constantly mixing up the ingredients. In the Sakura restaurant for example let’s say you have ramen that needs shrimp and rice that needs seaweed. You’re holding 2 dishes and there’s no real way to ensure that the ramen will get shrimp instead of seaweed unless you set the rice down. If you have things on your warming tray you just have to hand it over to him and hope he doesn’t switch them. 2)Say you have 2 dishes in your hand again, one needs soy sauce and one doesn’t, a considerable amount of the time it goes on the dish that did not want soy sauce and you can’t take it off so now the customer won’t take it and you have to put it on a warmer, hold it in your hand, or throw it away in order to remake their order. It frustrated me enough to not only write a review, but to delete the game, and tell everyone I know to not play it. I also reached out to technical support with our response. Shame.

I love it, but.... There are only a two sections (5 restaurants in the first section, 6 in the second), so if you play this like I did you’re done with what’s available WAAAAAAY before you want to be. When I go back to the first section there’s one location where I can’t get the side ingredients on the items I need, therefore I can not complete the achievements. There’s currently an event going on for Halloween which is cool and all but shouldn’t you be working on the full game play before you do an event that lasts a month? I appreciate that it’s not too difficult to get rubies (just don’t expect to get enough to buy everything), but the ratio of how much they go up as you upgrade feels disproportionate. I know you need to make money, but I’ve deleted games that make it this hard to advance. I feel like all the upgrades for the restaurants outside of the food and interior should not include rubies in their prices since I already always buy rubies when you offer the “one time deals” during gameplay so I can buy all the things I need for the ingredients and interior to help me with gameplay. I do love it, but those are my issues and the reason it won’t get 5 stars from me.

Great game but…. Don’t get me wrong, this game is great, but I do have a few suggestions. I think gems should not be this hard to get! You either wait everyday to get a couple, watch an ad to get one, or spin the wheel which is also kind of a low chance of getting a gem. Gems are required for getting kitchen appliances and/or decor, but sometimes I can’t even finish a level due to my gem number and what the game is recommending me to buy for the kitchen. Let’s talk about pets. Don’t get me wrong, I love interacting with the pets, but when I’m offline, I don’t think they should loose happiness, because there is nothing I could do about it. Taking care of them is a stress as well. It’s pretty hard to take care of them at the same time as buying necessities for your kitchen. If I also complete a level, it will kick me out of the game then make me redo the level. I’m also really upset about how you need gems for instant delivery?? If I need something for my kitchen to complete the level, I have to wait until tomorrow so it comes. The great is an amazing creation, just these few things do bother me. Thank you for reading.

My favorite game! Hands down 😊. I just love this game so very much! I have been playing it now for 3 years and I'm addicted lol. I love the outfits , the change in scenery never gets old because once you finish your levels required and update a restaurant, your on to your next place! Very exciting and challenging. Although, mytona, it is extremely hard to get through the Creighton challenges. It just gets a little too much going on past level 4. I've had a stroke back in 2017 and I'm only 51 going to be 52 in Sept; my point is some of us chefs are older or have cognitive problems such as myself. As much as it does help exercise the brain it’s also very frustrating. Some of us spend a Lot of money in the game and I feel that is why the levels are getting to be so hard. Please do try take it easier on us so that we can continue to enjoy playing. I've seen a few players say they were not going to Play anymore due to this. 😔 Other then that, the game is wonderful! 😊

2&1/2 stars really, Mytona ruined an awesome game. I really wish I could rate this at 2 and a half stars. I've been playing CD for over 2 years now. I used to absolutely LOVE this game. I mean, it was seriously a problem how addictive and time consuming it is! I could spend HOURS playing. Then Mytona stopped listening to what their fans wanted and turned to corporate greed instead. This is no longer a game for the fans. It's turned into a money grabbing situation! We send in tickets to complain, they don't care. We plead with them on their FB page to bring back the game we once loved, they don't care, because it's all fallen on deaf ears! SHAME ON YOU MYTONA!! Instant Fan! No Ads! Easy level ups! So cute!. First off, I came to this game from Diner DASH Adventures because that game had gotten so frustrating and they weren’t looking to fix its flaws any time soon. This game? Flawless so far! So much better than DDA and the storyline is much cuter. Love that you can customize your character and that getting to the next level is easy. The game is fast paced but quick to learn and always has events going on. The guild is a cute side thing where you can get extra help. It’s not hard to get rubies and cash and you don’t HAVE to upgrade stuff in your restaurant to move forward in the game (though it helps, but again not hard). There’s always tons of ways to earn rubies without spending money and the game does not force you to spend money or make you feel bad. But the best part? NO ADS. NONE. No pop-up ads, no “watch this to get the money you desperately need”, if you need one more ruby to get that one upgrade you can watch a very short ad and that’s it. This game is awesome.

Best cooking game ever, But like all cooking games does have some things that are annoying.. I have been playing CookingDiary for about 6 n half months, and Imma say this game is the funnest cooking game I have came across so far. (Very addictive) There are endless things to do and I do catch myself spending to much time on the game because of it. The story line is really fun to read and watch, I must say Johnny intrigues me. (LoL) A lot of the updates are awesome and the rewards you get are amazing, but I do realize that if you don’t pay real money on the game it does get really hard to progress in it; Along with that it is incredibly hard to get rubies. Also I had an idea about a cool feature that you could add to this game that would be more fun and efficient, Tasty-me is the app in-game that allows you to communicate and interact with other players.. Well what if there could be a feature added that allows you to “text” other players or message them. (Just a suggestion) But overall, this game has helped me with my boredom and even with all the ads and annoying stuff this game is awesome.

Fun To Play. I really love this game it is addicting to play and have been playing it for a long time. I love how you can see the action of the characters in the kitchen as you play along. The colors are vibrant and it really makes me happy overall and it helps to pass the time especially during this quarantine period. I love the food truck levels it gives me a fun rush. Please note: A few issues I have noticed is that there should be an option to purchase the pets in the store as well as playing videos to get gems. With this recent update this disappeared. It seems logical that the more you allow us players to purchase items, the more profits you could ring in. Some games offer you a chance to play for the progress and if you notice your not getting the item in time they offer you a chance to purchase. I was bummed I couldn’t get the rabbit because the progress seemed slow due to the changes in the update it became a bit lore challenging and because of the financial issues currently going on. I hope you will reconsider the purchase options. Other than that I definitely recommend this game.

Money Hungry Game, Less Fun Now. I used to love playing this game, however, the more you level up the less fun it is. I hate the constant pop ups of the game basically begging you to spend money. You exit out of one pop up, there’s about 2/3 more after that. The developers who made the game are basically money hungry. You have to continually spend money just to make it pass a level and if you don’t you fail that level. It’s annoyin when you complete levels & stuff you don’t make as much gems but you make A LOT of coins and majority of everything you need to buy requires gems. I have so much coins I could spend but I can’t because I’ll need gems as well. I wish I could make equal amount of gems and coins without having to spend money. I’m not about to keep spending money on a game that’s supposed to be enjoyable. You spend money that one time, you’re gonna have to keep spending in order to enjoy the game and get pass the levels. I’m literally stuck on one level because I have so much coins but no more gems left due to upgrading the kitchen. It’s hard to obtain gems but easy to gain coins??? Game is less fun now, I hope you guys make some changes to that. I really loved the game but not anymore.

Gems gems gems. As many other reviewers said this game is fantastic other than the gems. I didn’t find it too bad and was able to get all the way to the top level released if I was patient and worked towards some of the achievements. However, I’m frustrated with the update and the pop ups. The game constantly asks you to buy gems. It’s really annoying. But also with the update now I don’t get decor upgrades unless I pay out some of my blue cash (I forget the name) to watch a video to get the item. The only reason I bother with the restaurant decor is to get more stores to eventually get gems. But now I can’t do that. And now this new kitty bank is just another frustrating you can’t do it unless you pay real money. It’s getting annoying. I’d much rather pay out a couple bucks to have an ad free game then have a game with no ads that’s always in your face asking for money. Oh and pro tip: don’t ever pay $20 for the “key” to the food truck events. It always drops down to $10 and then $5 as the end of the event gets closer. I never pay because that’s a ridiculous amount of money even at $5 for a key that only works for one event. But if you do choose to buy wait til the last minute!

Worth it! Short review and suggestion. This game is by far one of the best cooking games I’ve ever played on my phone. It’s challenging at times but always do-able AND the story is a great addition. One of my favorite features is the guild system. I love being apart of a group and competing against other guilds. I love the events and the golden ticket event. The community is great and it’s super easy to make friends! Even though there are ways to get gems with quests and finishing story sections, I think it would be great if the company added another way to get gems or increased the number of gems you get from watching ads. I noticed many people that say gems aren’t a problem actually buy gems. I think most of the people that play this game don’t want to spend money and therefore have a problem getting gems. The game heavily relies on upgrades and it is frustrating not being able to keep up since gems are an inconvenience. Anyways, I really like this game and I’m very addicted to it. I will for sure recommend this to my friends and family. ❤️

My only major issue is that when playing the game you receive free time to play as a reward for certain challenges or completing story lines, etc. I admit I spend money for gems or the Golden Ticket. I dislike the fact that you can not select when or how to use this time. I have had as much as 6 hours of free time . What working adult can play for 6 hours straight? Often I lose my free play because I don’t have time to play when it is awarded to me. This is definitely not fair when the free time is the result of a purchase you made or “reward” for completing a challenge. Especially if you had to pay at some point. I have emailed the developers about this several times, but their response is a standard “ thank you for playing and we hope you enjoy the game”. This is beginning to frustrate me because I should be able to use the free play time when I want without using it. It it was not for this issue I would have rated the game 5 stars.

This game is getting greedy!. This has been a favorite game of mine for a little over a year now. I’ve created my own guild and even get to play with my sister who lives in another state. The game is very fun, challenging and all of the outside features keep you looking forward for new fresh places and outfits. In the last few months however, the powers that be have decided that us players need to start spending our own money on things that we used to be able to earn. Winning quests used to deliver great rewards. Those rewards have been cut in half! They also used to offer special outfits for our characters that we’d save up for and excitedly we would purchase them with those hard earned game dollars or “bank notes.” Now, they are only offering them for actual money. There are already things some of us will drop a few dollars on, like the food truck prizes, but now it’s getting excessive for a game. I hope they listen to the feedback of the players and give us rewards for being loyal players and stop penalizing us for winning or wanting to play to get items. You don’t need more cash from us.

Time stealer. Yes, a fun addictive game. But the developer knows how to keep you playing this game by stealing your time on the clock. If you find yourself playing the same level more than 10 times before you can move on, that is the reason. Just watch how long the customers take to stroll into the restaurant after you clear the change when you have 20 seconds left on the clock which is more than enough time to make money. Or how about when you start a level and the clock has already wasted 15 seconds before the first customer arrives to order. Good that I have a habit of having drinks ready and always buy trays to hold prepared food. Yes I get robbed of time too much due to the pace of customers. And no you don’t have to keep spending limited precious rubies to keep updating the kitchen for better results when the customers are just too slow. On the crazy fast pace food truck and blitz special where you don’t have to worry about the time, the pace of the customers is better. Still pretty fun and one of the better cooking games.

GREAT game, but EXPENSIVE. This is a great game! I don’t typically find games that I enjoy playing, but once I started this game I couldn’t stop! The only down fall is eventually you get to the point where you are only accumulating 2-3 gems/rubies at a time and it is very far in between. The further you are through the game the more gems/rubies it requires to upgrade your kitchen equipment. For example, I might not be able to pass a level until I can collect enough gems/rubies to upgrade a part of the kitchen which in turn makes me score higher to pass the level. If you cannot collect the gems/rubies through the game play itself you are left with the only option of purchasing them with actual, real money. $2.99 a pop, which isn’t TERRIBLE but isn’t super cheap either giving you would have to purchase this AT LEAST once a week to continue moving forward in the game. I’m on the very last restaurant of the “second town” and I cannot go any further in the game without purchasing rubies through iTunes. I’m DONE spending money on this game. Great game, but TOO expensive to play. The gems/rubies should not be so hard to earn through the game play.

Needs improvement, but great game. I love this game. The only things I dislike are having to wait real time for product/equipment to be “delivered”. I use to be able to watch ads to speed up the process. I didn’t mind watching them because that meant I got to continue playing the game. Now I can’t watch ads (apparently some people can and a lot of them can’t??) so I’ll have to wait and I can’t beat certain levels if my product/equipment isn’t upgraded so honestly I just get off the game and play a different one. I think having people watch ads is a win-win for the consumer and developer so I don’t know why you guys don’t just make it to where everyone can watch ads to speed up the delivery process. I also hate how currency changes through out the towns. I have no many coins for certain towns and all my stuff is upgraded to there’s nothing left to do with those coins? Maybe have a currency trading of some sort? And it’s crap that we can’t change coins into rubies. Overall I like playing the game a lot but these improvements would make it so much less frustrating and way more enjoyable.

I edited my review and it got deleted. Probably because I was open and sincere about what I posted. I have used and used to enjoy this app for years. But with the constant and increasingly unpalatable upgrades, I find myself teetering on the edge of actual dislike. What I loved most about the game, the sights and sounds of close to real life food prep., and serving has been lost; replaced by cartoonish looking items and zero sound effects of searing or other sounds equally attached to a functioning kitchen. And what’s worse, the levels that used provide a fun and challenging gameplay experience, are now near-unplayable… unless you spend more and more money on boosters. And forget completely your buying any of the outfits- unless you want the ones that take now thousands in game bucks. If I could revert to a much earlier version of this game, I would, in a heartbeat. Happily. But as the updates are forced, that’s not an option. You’re killing your fan base, dear Developers. You seem to be chasing a younger audience, but, to what avail? In this economy, the kids you seem to be trying to woo, can’t even buy your game currency. And the hard-working parents who are struggling to live through the pandemic, certainly won’t cover those game purchases either, for their kids, or in my case, for myself. You’re ruining your creation.

Cash cash cash. This game used to be fun, with minimal cash to move restaurants...last 2 updates it’s gotten out of hand. You cannot advance at all. They took away 50/20’s unless you buy boosts. I had a ton of boosts and now less then 10... they have a challenge every other day that is no longer attainable... I had to quit spending money on this game because it’s outrageous to play it. I’m probably mid restaurants and cannot move because I’ve not ever got enough rubies to move to the next restaurant. I don’t mind paying if I get a little kick back, but they have tightened it, added “insane levels” on top of their geek levels (unobtainable in my resto) and businessmen which are 3 levels within 10 levels. They put these super hard levels every other one. It wasn’t so bad when I 1st started back in Oct 2020 but now they have gotten way past greedy. So bad that the guild I am in used to be in Royal but so many of us are frustrated we said we love our teammates let’s not play to support their game, our money is not worth the frustration they are doling out. If I had a choice I wouldn’t give this game 1 star anymore. All they want is money money money and all us players do is suffer suffer suffer. Find a different game. Save your pain, agony and sanity. Their support is total CRAP!!

Well... Because money. I have played this game up until a certain point twice now. I love the game and love the story line. Although once I get to a specific spot in the game it becomes harder to achieve the goals without spending real money. I tried a second time around to see if maybe there was somewhere I messed up in upgrades etc where I could have done things differently to make my success more achievable and boom, same situation. This happens in a lot of these free games though to be honest. And another thing is that it doesn’t happen until about halfway through the map so you still get some pretty good gaming in before this becomes an issue. I recently discovered the world of trying other games by the same developers and look forward to possibly trying other games by this developer if there are any, I have yet to look into it. So if you’re looking to play a game for a while to get your fix in, I’d say download it! Like I said, fun game with an interesting story line! But impossible to complete without spending real money for gems. Which if you’re looking to do, they ask you plenty of times so you’ll never miss a chance to do so!

Best phone game ever!!!. I downloaded this just for stranger things and because I was bored one day. I saw it as an ad on another game I didn’t really like. This is basically like Diner Dash and it’s soooooo much fun!!! They never show you ads unless you want them to and you always get rewards afterwards. All phone games have long wait times, hearts, and gems. In most games you need to watch 1,000 ads to speed up the wait times, wait 30 minutes for a single heart, and spend $10+ on gems in order to actually progress in the game but that is NOT the case here!! If something in this game takes 8 hours to ship, I just need to watch three 5 second ads and then I have it. They’re constantly awarding you unlimited lives, and you can get gems from completing challenges and regular levels. No real money required! But they, of course, offer paid promotions and things like that. But I like that it isn’t 100% necessary to win. I haven’t spent a dime on gems and I’m already almost finished with the whole thing! I love this game. The story and characters are adorable, the pets are adorable, and the gameplay itself is so much fun.

Deletion of old profile. I absolutely love this game. I originally logged into this game a few months ago on my galaxy phone. I recently purchased and iPhone 11 and safely was able to log into Facebook using my original log in and didn’t lose any game progress. I decided to try this game on my iPad because on the taco restaurant the ingredients are not very visible and are extremely hard to see. Please make the ingredients more visible. My biggest problem is when I logged into this game on my iPad I went to use my Facebook log in and somehow logged into a old Facebook page by accident. I tried to log out of that Facebook profile and there is no option to entered a new Facebook log in. I log out and back in and it says profile found and only allows you to choose that one. I have requested over and over again to delete the profile and I have done the deletion process. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled but that date is still there and does not give the option to fully delete the Facebook profile and enter a new email address. Please help me to be able to log in with a new Facebook profile. The problem is my old data is still stored and can’t be deleted I have tried.

YES YES YES. This game!!! There’s so much to do, plenty of restaurants and events! Gems are pretty decent to acquire I’ve only been playing for 5 days and have at least earned a little over 400 gems. I’ve been able to upgrade my restaurants pretty fully and it’s been a blast playing. I can spend HOURS on this game and don’t even realize the time passing. It gets harder on some levels which I enjoy. I will say even though the outfits are cute, i wouldn’t spend my gems on them. The main goal for me is upgrading my restaurants and that’s the only thing I really use my gems for. I have not spent one penny on this game and that’s what I love about it, you’re able to do pretty much everything in this game without spending money! Unlike cooking fever where it’s literally scrapping to get gems this game offers a lot of rewards and plenty of fun activities that can get you to keep coming back to play. And the guilds are fun too! So happy I stumbled across this game because it has become my favorite

My favorite game, only 2 complaints. This is by far my favorite game to play on my phone. I spend at least 3 hours a day playing. I only have 2 complaints about the game. 1- rubies are very hard to come by so when I lose a level and there's the option to spend 20 rubies to keep playing, I wish if that were selected the game would ask are you sure. There have been many times when I've accidentally hit that button and still lost which is annoying, especially when trying to save the rubies to buy something. 2- when trying to complete a specific achievement (win 50 levels in a row for 20 rubies) the game makes me start over frequently. I can literally be at 45/50 and put my phone down for 5 minutes to walk away and come back and it has started me back at 0/50. This is very annoying since that means you have to play nonstop for over an hour to complete it. I wish the game didn't start the counter over until you actually lost or at least allowed you time to walk away from your phone if it weren't for these two issues this game would have 5 stars.

Works but no more. I love this game but seems like every time I have gotten to this lvl and doing amazing it just doesn’t let me on anymore I click on the game hit play and then it just goes back to my phones front screen and it just won’t let me on now again I have already had to delete the game and reinstall and lost all my gems all my progress and had start to start all over again from beginning I wish I didn’t have to do it again or I would give 5 stars please fix. Just changed my star to one because I can not get on to play no more it will not let me I’m going to have to delete and reinstall and that means I will lose everything again and I was in the best guild ever but now I probably won’t be. And I had so much gems that I used to do all my updates in the pizza shop dang I was doing so good.————————————————- Update: I give y’all 5 for now lol because well my game let me on just out of the blue and I didn’t lose anything thank God because I was just bought to delete hopefully I can keep playing because I freaking love this game!!!!!!

Good game!. I love this game a lot. I’ve been using it for almost a year, But I have never gotten bored of it. There is a lot to do, like you can get a pet, and at some point in the game you get a house that you can decorate, and there’s different challenges, and a lot more. I highly recommend getting this game. If I were to have any complaints, it would be that all of the deals were you spend money in the game are really expensive. Sometimes I just need a few more gems but they make you pay one dollar for only 10 gems. That’s a lot of money. It would be nice if they could move it down just a few cents. And the Thousand gem deal is $99. 😂 how do they expect anybody to spend that much money on a video game? Also, the different packs you can get include bank notes, new outfits, diamonds, power ups, coins, and more. But they charge over $19 just for all the packs. So it would be nice if you guys moved the prices down a little bit. But I’ve been playing this game for over a year, and have never spent any money. So it is possible to play without waisting your money on it. Still highly recommend to anyone who is bored.

Almost perfect. The fact that are you guys reward us (which is very nice) with 30 minutes or an hour of free play time that we don’t have a choice to save is ridiculous. It’s 11 PM at night for example and I had two hours and 30 minutes of free time because I cannot bank them for later. I’m not about to sit here and play this game for 2+ hours because I can’t save my free time which means that I ultimately lose that free two hours and 30 minutes of free game time. Does that seem fair to you? And as somebody who spends money on this game, I really find that unfair. It’s cool that you guys reward us with free time, but it’s unfair that a lot of the times were unable to use it because we have to go on with our day or go to sleep like normal people and it just goes to waste. Now I’m going to lose over two hours free time, yes I have screenshots, so you know I’m not lying, because there’s no way to save it for later. Please develop someway that we can bank time for later. Just as we can stock up on our boosters, it would be nice to have that as a booster or some thing so that we can use it at a later time if we want to if that makes sense. Last time I have 4+ hours that I lost because it was on Christmas day and I went to go spend time with family.

Great but if only.... Love how this doesn’t have u in one restaurant making the same food, you move on to different kinds of restaurants with constant change but can always go back also. A lot of games to be able to move forward you have to wait hours or actually purchase the games “currency” this game is very fair and you can continue playing and moving forward without the annoying weight and going out ur way to purchase gems or coins. However, this game has me so invested and interested I’ve actually CONSIDERED making purchases. Just to enjoy it a little more. But I personally don’t have it in me too. (Even though it is fair prices, but I know the second I do it, I won’t stop-which is a n-go for me) I also enjoy that there’s several challenges, and if ur competitive like me, you’ll really enjoy this ! Ur playing against players all over the world in these challenges, have a guild (team) and and get to communicate with them . The ONLY thing I’d wish was different is if I could buy rubies with my coins.

Upgrades needed ASAP. I’ve had this game since the beginning of Covid. I love the concepts, the storylines, and how fast the pace is. It makes me feel like my brain is staying active. My biggest pet peeve about this game though is that it has change so much and it is almost impossible to progress without having to spend real money. Rubys used to be the prize for completing a level (at least one) now you have to almost break a neck for just one which inhibits you from growing the restaurant. There’s also no use for All the revenue acquired from other restaurants. You can’t use it to upgrade your restaurants your apartment or pets. t almost makes it feel useless, and mundane to play because you know that no matter how many levels you complete the rewards are either minuscule or useless. Even if you try to spin the wheel and use the money, you have to get rubies to upgrade your restaurant nine times out of 10. You’ll only gain five dollars which is extremely frustrating. i’ve even shown this game to my friends and we’ve all agreed that if there aren’t changes to the prize/ruby system, it’s really not worth it to play anymore.

You need to pay for lots of things. It's fun, but hear me out. If you want a nice outfit or better, more realistic hair, then you need to pay for it! I mean, this game is fun, but I am not willing to pay for things. Especially when they make the payment way over priced! Like to get one hair style you have to pay $4.99. And in my opinion that is way over priced. To get one hair style it should be only .99 cents. And the gems are too hard to get too. Like if you complete a level that was hard, you still only get 2 or 3 gems! There are some prizes that you can win but for the most part gems are hard to get. But if you just stick to the basics and don't upgrade as often (upgrades costs gems) then you might be fine. But as the levels get harder you are going to have to upgrade. And the upgrades take forever! If you upgrade to a better stove or something then you will have to wait like 30 minutes to get it delivered. And if your only on the 4th upgrade (for a stove) it takes TWO HOURS to deliver! That is way to long and I think if your going to make it hard to get gems and hard to get upgrades then at least deliver it to us right when we upgraded.

Game is unplayable if you don’t plan to spend money. Diamonds are needed for everything. Upgrades take coins plus diamonds. Some of the longer upgrades, if you don’t want to spend diamonds for instant upgrades, they will finish after you clear the restaurant levels and move on to a new restaurant which I find annoying and a waste of coins and especially diamonds. I play so many of these games that I find this game a rip off. After upgrading my first restaurant with the free diamonds, my second restaurant cannot be upgraded, so my drink dispenser cannot keep up with customer orders. You cannot play this game unless you are prepared to purchase diamonds. I understand if diamonds are used for beautiful decorations that enhances a restaurant (which I have spent money in other games just so I can acquire those unique items), but to have it as a necessity to upgrade equipments to the point where the game is unplayable is ridiculous. I deleted this game after I got stuck on restaurant #2. To the developers, come up with cute or limited items that players want to buy with diamonds instead of making the game unplayable if players don’t have diamonds to upgrade essential kitchen equipments.

Not as good as used to be. I’ve been playing for over a year. The game is very addicting and used to be fun. Now, I’m at the page or two to the end of newest restaurants. I save enough gems to pass a level, can only pass one more before I’m stuck again. I would need to buy multiple upgrades as well as boosters to pass some levels, just to be stuck again two levels down. I feel useless in guild challenges, as well as sugar rush, because I’m not able to complete multiple levels in a row anymore. Trying to go back and earn gems with challenges at old restaurants, and I don’t want to spend all my gems trying to upgrade my old restaurant just to earn 4 gems on the challenge. Also not happy that they took away speeding up the wait time for upgrades by watching ads instead of spending money. Having to wait 8 hours when you just spent 20 gems to upgrade something stinks. You would need to spend money consistently on gems to keep advancing at a normal pace. I’m okay with occasionally spending money for quality, but it’s getting ridiculous. Getting very frustrated and not fun to play anymore.

Love this game BUT..... I love this game. I’m so addicted to it. There are a couple problems though. As others have mentioned sometimes its impossible to get past certain levels without upgrading your things, but to upgrade you have to have gems. What am I suppose to do when I have 2 gems and I can’t get pas the level without upgrading everything that’s 22 gems? I’ve usually found a way around it at times, but the thing I HATE the most is how I hit things and it doesn’t take! I don’t know how many levels I’ve lost due to hitting the item and it doesn’t take it ESPECIALLY in the food truck!! I don’t know how many things I hit and it doesn’t respond. I hit an item and then a person, next thing I know that person is still there and the item is still in my hand. I’m really ticked that I have spent $3 on gems to continue when I’m at the final level in the food tuck and I lose because of that issue. It’s not right. Another thing is I give my things to Johnny and he messes it up! I want to put mushrooms on one thing and tomatoes on another and it gets switched up! I don’t know how many times that’s happened as well!

Fun but a money sucker. So is the game fun. Yes, it is a fun game so for being fun it gets stars. However what isn’t fun is the whole guild system. It honestly is a massive drawback from the game. You have these guilds it spams you to join but the problem is you either get in guilds that are super inactive or guilds that are so active that if you are offline for one day they kick you. On top of the guild system being annoying, the amount of spam pop up messages that happen during your time on the game is ridiculous! And each spam message is a click bat system to get you to spend more money, which brings me to my biggest issue with the game. If you want to get anywhere in the game at any decent amount of time you have to spend money. Yes you can VERY slowly earn gems which are needed to improve your stores but not at any rate that actually makes the game playable. The reality is though that is how mobile games are, they make the game fun but then bring you to a point that if you don’t spend money you can’t progress and the more you progress the more money you have to invest to continue. I’d much rather just have a mobile game I pay full out for that is fun progressive and isn’t a pay to progress .

You HAVE to have a STRATEGY!!. I love this game soooo much more than any other game I’ve ever played....EVER! I feel like the levels are not that hard to complete including the side games and quests. Once i got to colafornia i noticed that having a strategy with the gems is all you need to keep leveling up and moving forward. Mine is making sure i have enough gems before the next restaurant so i can level up my store once i get there and get more gems from achieving stars and whatnot. Those once in a lifetime deals where it’s 100 rubies for $0.99 are the best but i rarely see them anymore ( probably because it’s supposed to be rare) the game is fun and having a successful guild and contributing to your guild daily is helpful in moving up too. It also takes a lot of focus sometimes for those hard levels. I don’t think this game is supposed to be crazy easy, it’s supposed to be challenging. Anyway i love this game to the moon and back and i think the developers are doing a bombass job! Keep up the great work and offer more of those .99 cent deals cause those be coming in handy asf lol

Loved it...at first. So basically the game has great graphics, enjoyable plot and basic game plan. My problem is the fact that you need rubies for EVERY upgrade and the further along you get ya'll start to get selfish with them. If it cost $3500 to upgrade the stove why do I also need 10 rubies? It's like they want you to spend money for more rubies. Another complaint is the fact on how much battery life it uses, I have to play the game plugged into my charger, don't have this issue with any other games. My last complaint is the fact that you make everything so close together, I noticed in the first restaurant everything was fairly easy but now on restaurant 3 I will clearly press to make a red smoothie or corn dog, go back to get snacks and come back the object I was trying to create and not only is it not making it, it's not even there. I keep having this same problem. It's now started with the baking level which comes before the cinema level. Idk if the harder the game gets the more touchy it gets and more forceful you have to press the buttons but this is getting beyond annoying. I shouldn't have to break my screen just to grab a cake out the oven.

Constantly trying to sell me something!. This game would be amazing if the whole purpose of it wasn’t to sell me gems and coins and outfits and home decor and restaurant decor and power ups and the list goes on. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. The game tries to peer pressures people into buying “gifts” for their guild members and pops up with “special” offers every 5 seconds. I just finished a level and had to close 10 different offers to buy things in a row before I could get back to the actual game… that was the final straw. I don’t care how much fun it is to play, I have enough pressure to spend my hard earned money on real life things- I don’t need these hard sales tactics in my life too. I saw one girl on the chat boards the other day saying something about being broke but that she was buying a guild gift for everyone anyways. I just feel bad for these folks who have gotten sucked into this nightmare of a game. Also I did give in and make one purchase that was supposed to be 1.99 and it went through at 7.99. There must have been some shady fine print I missed. Do not download, and more importantly, do not give them your money. Rant over. Thank you for reading.

So fun!. This is one of the best “cooking” games I’ve ever played. HOWEVER, one thing that makes me want to stop playing, is the rubies. Why does it cost coins AND rubies to upgrade kitchen stuff? Like the stoves cost 1100 coins AND 5 rubies to upgrade. Which means, once I run out of rubies, I’m expected to spend real money to get more rubies, in order to level up my kitchen stuff to be faster. It’s ridiculous. It never fails tho, you find a game that you love, and sure enough, you end up having to pay for something. This really makes the game less fun for me. I’m currently stuck on a level where I can’t lose any customers, but I can’t upgrade my kitchen appliances because I have no rubies, and I REFUSE to spend money to get some. You should be able to earn at least 3 rubies for each level you successfully complete. Like for each level you complete on the first try, you get rubies. Give us a chance to EARN THEM, without forcing us to buy them. This is the first game I’ve played that costs coins AND something else. I play Cooking Craze, and you only need the cash to level up you appliances and food. Please change this, or you’ll lose a lot of customers if you don’t.

I never write reviews but i just love this game and I have been playing this game about like 2 or 1 day it I never get bored about this game it so fun to play cause when I was little I love to cook and I never found a perfect game to play because I always finish the game fast but this game is amazing there so much restaurant and more stuff like I can’t stop playing this game when I wake up I just play the game this game is amazing like there’s not alot of ads and it perfect for when the internet goes out (if I actually does go out) but this game I can play it all day all night this game is so much better from the other cooking games I be playing, I will definitely give his a 5 star I don’t know how to explain how great and amazing this game is I have so much!! Btw I have a very tiny issue when I try to play this game and I wanna purchase some thing it always cancels it but I don’t really have big issue about it cause this game is sooo……. FUNNNN thank you so much if you read this just let you know please make updates and add more stuff cause I love this game and have a amazing day!!

Its fun! But one thing.... The upgrades are too expensive a lot of times, and I would really like to be able to grind levels. I am only in the first restaurant, and I already see warning signs of over-monetization. Devs, would you guys be able to fx this? Maybe erase having to use rubies for the game, and switch that to hair, shop decor (NOT food or equipment, please!) and clothes. Or lower it so that upgrades aren’t as expensive. Maybe 1 ruby, + X gold. I don’t have the budget to be buying rubies.... so having to use them almost every day is frustrating! If you guys can increase the Ruby rewards from the Spin, and achievements, (if you’re not willing to erase having to use them for upgrades) it would be greatly appreciated. As for grinding levels- this would allow the player to save up, and learn from past mistakes. I personally believe this is a great way to let players learn! Maybe allow for grinding, with half the rewards as when they played that same level for the first time. Half the gold, but infinite plays, would allow a player to learn how to better play the game. I play so slowly because i am working with a broken phone, sadly, or i would play much more often than two levels a day :(

5 STAR GAME!! ❤️👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I love this game because of how fun it is! It isn't just an ordinary order food- and serve game, but it has a great plot! I also like how quickly I can be in this game; I can just click the burger to the stove, put the drinks in the dispenser, and serve customers in a flash! The other games I've tried like Cooking Fever and the new flight attendant game (btw, still great games), it takes a little long while to get done what I need to. I have one suggestion: Could you guys please add more hairstyles, makeup and clothes to make the player more diverse? For example, you can do competitions on how quick the two chefs can complete all the requirements for that certain level being complete, how many 😍faces the chefs recieve, who throws away the least amount of dishes, who burns the least amount of dishes, and more! I hope this suggestion is put into consideration!

Almost impossible levels. Some levels I get to and it seems like they’ve been purposely set to be impossible to pass without paying for something to help. Sometimes even when I use instant cook or something similar I’ll still be off by the slightest bit right at the end. I just played a level in the Sushi restaurant with an instant cook and I had the all the required coins yet still was missing a person out of 12 and the clock said I still had 5 seconds left and had no one else coming to order so it said I failed. How is that my fault? I kept the counter clear for people to still arrive the entire time so it’s not like they didn’t have room to show up. It’s just set up so you have to pay rubies to “get a little more time” to pass it. Edit: I finally somehow managed to get one last person a few seconds before the end of the timer yet when I delivered his last item, I had two seconds left and it didn’t count him and still said I only had 11/12 people when he was my twelfth. And you want 20 rubies for +3 people and +30 seconds?! I’m convinced now that this game is set up to require payment to advance. Maybe don’t set the timers to be just little enough time to not be able to pass without paying for an extra 30 seconds.

Frustrated. I’ve been playing this game since the very beginning. I use to LOVE this game until now. Every update they lessen the Ruby rewards and make it harder to earn them so that you have to buy them. They added the “insane” level to make it more challenging but it shouldn’t be to the point that you can only pass with boosters. Most of the FB fan groups of Cooking Diary are all saying the same thing. We feel that this is a ploy to stop you from earning the 20 rubies from winning 50 levels in a row. They’re dismissive with feedback from their players. It’s quite clear now that as the game got bigger they want to make more money. Understandable. But not at the detriment of your regular loyal players. Lessening rewards will never sit well with your loyal players. Ever. You give more opportunities to earn rubies but they end up being around the same amount if not less than before the updates and then acting as if they are doing us a good deed. You’re going to be losing A LOT of players and you’re going to be getting an influx of negative reviews coming. Start listening to your players or you’re going to be losing a big fan base.

Great Game but.... I feel the developers are becoming a bit “greedy” with requiring most things to be paid for with gems instead of coins or blue bucks. While there are different ways to gather gems throughout the game the amount of gems needed to upgrade your kitchen as you progress through the levels/ game become ridiculous and then if you want to get anything “special” they have replaced trading blue bucks with needing rubies to purchase. Another thing is as you progress through the game, you go to different areas with different currencies. The currencies from the previous area then becomes worthless after all upgrades are finished, but you still will end up playing those levels for turbo chef or daily quests. There’s should be a way to exchange previous area currencies for either rubies or even “specials” in the game. The censorship in the games guild chat is also a bit ridiculous and overly sensitive. While I get wanting to have a “family friendly” environment for the game there should be a option for guild leaders to turn the censorship on or off. There have been times where I have said nothing wrong in chat, but it gets flagged and I have to start the sentence over trying to figure out what word they flagged.

Game Losing Appeal. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game and it’s a great way to spend spare time. Love the challenge of it. But, you know what I’m about to say too, the gems. When you first start the game off, gems are easy to come by. Mostly because you level up fast and if you’re in a active guild you get the prizes, all that jazz. You don’t have a need to waste money and that’s great. But by the time you get to the second map, everything basically revolves around gems and they are not possible to come by to upgrade unless you spend money. The ‘discounts’ aren’t even discounts to me anymore because of it. I have over a 100k coins just sitting there because they're not being used for anything. I don’t mind using gems to upgrade but I think it should either be reduced or getting said gems should be easier. It used to be that the food trucks helped, now you have to pay money to actually get good stuff. Totally understand that the app needs to make money, but the appeal of this game at first was that I didn’t need to throw money at it to have tons of fun. Now, that appeal is dying.

Recent Flaws within game otherwise my rating has always been a 5!. Enjoyable game play rated at a 5 but would rate it at a 1 for odd in game losses through no fault of the player. I absolutely love love love cooking diary!! I have had this game for 2 years now. I have been noticing that recently there seems to be some scheming in the game. For example there are delays in customers to where your time is ticking away and the customers don’t show right until you have 1 second of play time left which means you really aren’t getting the amount of customers you’re supposed to during the level. Another example, when you have to serve a certain amount of drinks say for instance 7 but you only get 6 customers requesting drinks. Doesn’t seem quite right especially when the player serves all the customers. In the end these in game cheats force you to just give up or choose to use 20 gems to add additional customers. I played a level 4 times thinking maybe it was just me but realized that the level was set up to where you fail and hopefully get frustrated enough to use gems or just don’t realize the developers purposefully didn’t give enough customers. I hope this “issue” is fixed because I love this game and would hate to delete the game.

APP BROWSERS REA...... This game is addicting and fun! It really is. The social aspect and game aspect are amazing! I love that we can friend people and join guilds. The story line develops as you play, and it’s really just amazing. I never really take the time to write a review, but this deserves it. The only thing that stood out to me, is it takes me at least a minute after I fail a challenge, for me to play again due to the animations and confirms. Maybe add a way for the player to turn off all the special offers. I bot some with my allowance, but it makes me sad and kinda annoyed when I keep getting the same offer that I can’t buy. Especially the multiple confirms to close it. Overall the game is perfect and I really suggest downloading! You absolutely can play without spending money, but I love buying stuff to help the amazing developers who made this work of art! Edit: I forgot to mention that it would be great if we could cancel a movement. Like I accidentally clicked to put something on the tray instead of giving it to the customer, and it wastes a lot of time not being able to cancel it.

GETS WORSE WITH EACH UPDATE. Look, I don’t mind spending money on this game. It’s the only one I play on mobile and it brings me joy, so why not? (Trust me, I’ve spent way too much money on this game).And, to be fair, developers have to earn an income too. That being said, this game gets worse with each update. Developers think we’re not smart enough to realize what is happening. First, gems started to be used on everything — on decor upgrades and clothes — when it used to be on just kitchen upgrades. Blue bucks have become near obsolete because you can’t buy clothes with them anymore so they just accumulate. Furthermore, now the developers want to decrease the amount of gems we get from Guild Quests? You must be joking. They have literally decreased the amount -10 gems in rewards. I used to earn 20-25 gems each Guild Quest and now earn just half of that. Even when you express frustration to support, they respond with the same message (as I’ll most likely receive in response to this). Everyone hates these updates but MyTona doesn’t care at this point. Plus, it’ll keep getting worse. Guaranteed. I was tempted to make a purchase again on one of their offers but I don’t want to support a terrible business model. To be honest, I might let go of the game soon. So disappointing as I did love the Cooking Diary.
