This app and its associated apps are way overpriced. The cost to get these apps together is ridiculous. The developer tries way too hard to sneak in purchase after purchase. This is a phone app priced like a full price console game. I can go out and buy a fancy sound machine cheaper.

Not-a-Rainy-Day-Blues. Beautiful scenes to rest your eyes on while listening to very soothing and relaxing rainfall. I live in a very rainy place, and the sounds of this app are comforting. Well done!

Free sound is amazing. Haven’t bought the full version, but the free sound is amazing.

Gift Button. The gift button no longer takes you to a share button in the upper right hand corner of the screen in the App Store. I looked around & I can’t even find a share button anymore on there. Apple has changed the look & location of everything recently. It’s going to have to be looked into.

Do not support a bad developer that can’t take criticism. My long standing review of this app has been deleted. In what I can only assume is out of spite because of my negative review of it. I have purchased many of the other apps from this dev. All reasonably priced as a one time purchase. This one still has some lame high insane one time cost and or subscription service built in. The app saw no updates for over a year. Almost two. The app only finally got updated after it stopped working. My original Review is the same. Great sleep sounds. Really good quality and worth a fair premium. Not worth paying a monthly fee or the huge fee hidden in this one. My original review has stood on this app for over two years. Very disappointed to see it removed after this sudden recent update after the app being a graveyard for so long.

Not working in iOS 13.2.3. I loved this app. But it’s not working for current iOS and needs to be updated.

Helped me for over a year now. I have struggled for years to fall asleep without noise and this is the perfect amount of noise that won’t disrupt my sleep. Love that I can layer it with my Spotify podcasts Nothing Much happens and it doesn’t stop one or the other. Sad that the app crashes every now and then but has been worth my money thus far.

Awsome like always only 1 thing.... I rate 4 stars , because all paid rains need a X sec preview , so i can see what i get if i paid . I waiting for this preview . Thank you for this and all your amazing app :)

Story only chapter 1?. The story about rainy is only to chapter 1 and then says “to be continued” and repeats on every screen except #2, which has the links showing. As this is not how I remember this app, I suspect it is a bug created in the newest update. Otherwise, I love Franz’s apps and have every one of them. The story usually explains each scene, which is why I believe there is a problem.

Love it.. I liked your 3.99 apps better, 19.99 is a bit much. Although this is a beautiful app. I plan to subscribe, I believe it’s worth it. Thank you for keeping it add free, and the promise of future up dates, I hope you can do a few seasonal updates. Would love to see Christmas and Halloween.

Outstanding!. Another outstanding app from this developer. This is the fourth app that I have of his and I use than all regularly. You can tweak the app sounds and music to your liking with a mixing board built into the app. So....put your earphones in, turn up the sounds, close your eyes, and enter another world, a world of rest and beauty.

Intention Matters. There are good apps and bad apps out there. This is one of the good ones, because you can tell that whoever made it made it to enrich your life more than to enrich theirs (via sales). I give 4/5 because nothing is ever perfect. There is great room for improvement (Looking at UI/UX) over what is already an excellent app. Thanks for this :)

THIS IS THE BEST ONE YET!. I LOVE the sound of rain. This is exactly what I need to relax and focus or drift off to sleep! The 3D sounds are mind blowing with my ear buds! Sweet! The music is gorgeous, too! Nice job!

Beware: Price is misleading. Update: Now down to one star as I feel like the price is confusing. Franz, I gave you plenty of time to respond, so please do. I feel scammed and hope you reply. Nov 15..have all of Franz's other apps, and this is my favorite. I can truly say that I would not have paid $17.99 to any other developer for any app, and I have been buying apps since 2008. Now I am wondering if I paid for a onetime subscription, meaning that I will receive future updates? Or will I end up asking Apple (😱) for my money back, because the true subscription rate is the amount still listed under the app's description? Still, this is lovely and soothing, and I enjoy all of it. It is just not in my desired price range for only what is available now. I really love the music, sounds and art so thanks for another superb app.

Fantastic Sound Quality!. The sound quality is just WOW! The app transports me to the scene and really feel like i am there. I also got Thunderspace and absolutely love every single track. Can’t wait to try more :)

Love. A time ago I cancelled my subscription to one of your apps, only because I was almost bankrupt, due to COVID-19, and had to cut all cost that weren’t essential. Your apps have changed my life, truly. I’ve been using them for many years now. They are truly the best for deep relaxation and meditation. No one compares, honestly. I have a steady job now, and want to help again. Please tell me the best way I can? Please, please know that there must be thousands of people out there just like me, who’s life have been dramatically enhanced or changed entirely, by your beautiful apps. I’m NOT joking. You have changed the world, and that’s a fact. I’m so sorry I had to stop supporting you. I have a job again, but keep in mind I move lumber with a forklift for a living, so my pockets aren’t very deep.😉

Force landscape is annoying. I use this developers other app Thunderspace daily and find it be insanely high quality, especially the sound quality. I much prefer the more utilitarian interface that it uses. This app doesn’t seem to know if it’s a video game or utility for playing rain soundtracks. Forcing the user to use the app in landscape is overbearing and frustrating. I want to open the app, start playing rain sound and sleep the screen quickly, not stop and look at a pretty picture-book. I’d buy the in-app subscription if not for that one thing.

Excellent, BUT: Won’t Work On Smart Speakers?. 6 years back when I had to do a bunch of air travel, I searched high and low for beautiful, reliable nature noises apps to help me sleep. After I found Rainy and the rest of the series, I was won over and my ears have never looked back. All this comes to a sad BUT: I recently upgraded the apartment to both a HomePod mini, and a Sonos smart speaker expressly for the bedroom nature noises (moved on from air travel to living in Brooklyn). Rainy and the rest of the apps don’t work. Music, YouTube, voice calls, all come out the smart speakers. But all I get from these beautiful, long-loved nature apps are sharp, grating sounds from my 12Pro Max’s tinny loudspeaker. No Sonos. No HomePod mini. Which all comes to a hopeful BUT: I’m really hoping this is a leftover from when these apps were first developed, and smart speakers were less ubiquitous. Hoping Franz and his team read the user reviews and either lemme know what I’m missing or patch the incompatibility. My man-made noise defying sleep depends on it. With luv, :)

Seems very nice. I’m not quite sure where I should go if I want to buy another instance of a “scene” as you now have so many separate app that have many scenes... I’ll check this one, but love “Thunderspace” and will probably keep buying those scenes. No messing with setting, no visuals, & no fuss. 👍👍

The Reason atop Few Subscribers. The reason you have too few subscribers for you to update it as you mentioned, it’s because of price. Don’t look at the other developers. We stay away from them. If you had price it right like the other apps you have, more people would buy and your revenue would be higher. I’ve always looked to see if you changed the price but never did and never added any new scenes to encourage people. That’s why people stay away. You have had lots of fans when you were reasonable with your price.

Great App(s). This app and all of Franz’s creations are of the highest quality. I started with Windy and have been a loyal follower since. Wonderful graphics as well as pure natural sounds. The music is also well orchestrated and fits the theme of each app. I hope that Franz continues to turn out these varied themes of nature. Put some headphones on, kick back and enjoy the 3D sounds and sights of nature. It’s the next best thing to being there. Sweet dreams!

Great. I love all the apps from this developer, each ones unique and have great sound and lovely pictures. Rainy is my new favorite with the cute reindeer, and the developer even gifts you with a new scene just by talking to him. Sound quality is great and overall helps me sleep, and relax. Great app. look don't get me wrong it's a great app cool art and rain sounds but like just make it free or a one time payment because this app is only able to be used if U have a job like I'm in school so how am I ment to pay for a subscription but besides that great app

Nice but no AirPlay. Nice sounds. The interface is quirky, I could have lived with it but it simply refuses to play over AirPlay 2 (to my Sonos speakers or any others) rendering this app useless for me ... I don’t want to go to sleep with headphones on.
