Rating for word trip. Overall I rate this highly,with a few things that I would alter…. I like the concept a lot and it provides enough challenges to sharpen my memory skills. The competitions are fun and the extras such as Jigsaw and Wisdom are fun but the time allowed to finish them has been shortened far too much! They’ve become almost impossible to accomplish now and not even fun anymore,especially with not having each puzzle have a word to find to help in finishing them. I live on a fixed income and can’t afford to buy the coins,so my personal satisfaction has been declining. It’s too bad because I used to love the satisfaction of solving the games and enjoyed the competition.I’ll probably keep playing but less oftenSome of my friends that I’ve recommended Word to have also been disappointed and cut back on the amount of time playing it. See the World. Fun as well as being educational. Even with six letters being played here there are some words that I do not know the meaning of. So I go look up the definition and learn a new vocabulary word or group of words. It is a little addictive, I’ll admit. There are games within this game, like a puzzle that has to be formed before you can continue on playing your word game. You can chose to play them or not. It is up to you and how fast you move on to see the next country. Let me wish you well as you take your first trip. You will be sure to enjoy your travels.

ADS!!!!. I really like this game but the ads are ridiculous! In order to get one letter, you have to watch 3 minimum (often times as many as 6) each lasting 30 to 60 seconds and often times 2-3 in a row! Being retired and on a fixed income, I can’t afford to buy packages and spins. The ads are too long and I get frustrated lose interest after a dozen or more. You need to offer a one time, reasonable price to buy the game AD FREE! As much as I enjoy the game I am deleting it. The LONG and NUMEROUS ADS drain the battery and heat the phone. It’s truly a shame that game developers are so greedy. You used to be able to buy games for a few dollars and be ad free and play for hours without interruption. No more. One round, two minutes of ads. It makes me sad to have to delete this but I’ll keep looking for a game that’s more user friendly.

Fun distraction, but word allowance can be annoying. I’ve now reached a part at the end of Gabon where I have to wait for more levels. Think my last level is 4060 or 4030 or something like it. It’s been a fun distraction to use and tire my brain to go to sleep instead of thinking of other stuff. I never thought I would enjoy this game as much as I’ve had, however there are a few times where the allowable words are annoying as sometimes those I think should be allowed such as Raccoon didn’t work which is an animal on the American continent, but the word Dingo was allowed which is only on the Australian continent. Other times the games allow ancient or old spellings of words and other times not. What I have liked is the usage of obscure words are limited. There are some used here and there, but it is not ubiquitous.

Great Fun!. I play every morning while having my coffee to wake up and get my mind working. I am home bound due to Cancer and this is a challenging yet relaxing game app to play. Be safe, be happy, have fun! I purchased the annual package but didn’t receive the 3,000 coins as advertised. I was told that it can only be purchased once but I argued that if that’s the case it shouldn’t be made available for purchase after a player makes the first purchase. They finally agreed and I was given the coins. If you’re not sure about a purchase then ask before you place an order or you may have a problem getting it corrected. I lowered my 5 Star rating to a 4.

Could be better…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (2-1/2 rounded up) Wouldn’t allow me to select a rating so I did it manually. It’s okay for what it’s worth. They lie on the initial ad and have you thinking that there will be full in the space puzzles that come up. That NEVER happens. It’s just a revolving door of unscrambling. To top that off, there is an ad after EACH puzzle! Why?! I understand there needs to be some money made, but I would honestly rather have the option to buy than be harassed by the same same sameee ad over and over again. Really takes away from the experience. I’ll be looking for another game to supplement. Something with a little variety.

Works better than most. Great tournaments too. I downloaded this one because it looked like it might do things a bit better than some of the others like it. There are SO MANY, but this one just works well. I like the design features like the use of common words in the puzzles but points for extra words you get outside the puzzle. Good implementation. The alphabetically listed puzzle target words is a help, unlike some that make you use hints too often. The tournaments are fun, but not any different from regular play, so you aren’t pulled off from just progressing through levels anyway. I like that. Overall, this is just the best-designed of these games.

Why are the rules different for different players?. Several members of my family play this game. We’re all on Facebook, and it lists us as game friends but we can’t send or receive coins from each other. It will let you play ads for coins or hints but then not give them to you. Some members of my family get credit for “bonus words”, some don’t. Some of us can spin for coins, some can’t. And we all installed within a week or two of each other. Some words are obscure and valid sometimes and not others. Some words are not valid. Case in point. Tea bag, which was the six letter word in a puzzle is NOT one word in any gaming dictionary. Stupid mistakes. Fix it.

Word Trip. This is one of my favorite word games. I play it everyday. It entertains, it prevents me from thinking about things that are bothering me, It is one of the games i open up as soon as i can and it is about the last one i play before i can go to sleep. And that is the truth! It is certainly true. Word trip is excellent to forget problems that have no solution. Your mind is entertained and it has a calming effect on anxiety. Thank you!!! What has been said about Word Trip game is true and more. Relieves anxiety, entertains, interesting and distracts your mind from ongoing problems. Thank you so much. Ah, and i can play it in both my phones, one with internet svc and another without!

Could use a better dictionary. I really like this game. I play it a lot. But I periodically swear I’m going to stop playing, because it has such an idiosyncratic vocabulary. There are so many common words it doesn’t recognize, yet so many obscure words (or prefixes that aren’t words on their own, or non-English words) that the player is expected to find. It can be frustrating. But so far, I have forgiven the app every time and gone back to playing. We’ll see if that lasts! Update: I kept playing the game, pretty much daily, until the words no longer appeared in alphabetical order. That finally drove me away. The process of finding words is much more dependent on luck or sheer doggedness if you can’t apply alphabetical order as a tool. So, I’m off in search of a new word game.

Game is alright but lots of cons. The game is ok and helps me kill time but there are a lot of glitches and cons . 1) game tends to freeze, lag, and shut down 2) it causes my phone to heat up after a few minutes of playing 3) they need to insert more words and they also use a lot of words that are rarely used 4)sometimes I feel like they’re cheating so that we can use our coins or buy the coins for the hints and special stuff for example, I would type in a word once or twice and they would not accept it and when I finally decide to use the hint button the word ends up being the one I tried earlier 😑 5) I find it stupid how one level they accept a certain word and the next level they don’t. For example they would accept “pee” in level 124 but in level 129 they wouldn’t accept. Dumb but the main issue for me is 1, the game lags too much.

Inconsistency of legitimate words. My friends and I thoroughly enjoy this game, however, we are constantly frustrated and angered by the fact that you do not accept scrabble words, biased slang, and many other legitimate words in the English language. We are baffled by some of the odd diction you do accept and do not accept. We find it inconsistent in every manner! And we constantly question our reasoning for continuing to play. Your selective process appears to be arbitrary and capricious, at best. We’ve resorted to maintaining a notebook with words you do not deem acceptable and words you reject and penalize us for. We are aware of many of the bonus words acceptable and words that are worked into the puzzle, however, how do you explain what you do and do not find valid under bonus words. And it’s ludicrous that you accept plural words of singular words you do not take! Also my mother and boyfriend NEVER sent me a request to join war games which is an outright deception!! Amanda Lee

Listen to the rest of the comments, try Word Cookies. Honestly, I’m only still playing this game to get LP on sims. Otherwise, I would delete it immediately. Half of the words I try are rejected, even though most of them make more sense than the words they want you to find. Also, what are the quests? Whenever I click the quest button, it says “your quests aren’t ready yet.” ...well then when will they be ready? Because the one and only time I got to push the button, the screen wouldn’t load and I had to close out of the app. My other big complaint is the wheel. Why bother having different sections if the wheel only lands on 2 coins, 4 coins, or re-spin? I don’t think that the creators of this game even bothered to think of what the other two sections mean, they just put them there to try and trick people into thinking that there are more options. This game is so bad, I might quit it without getting LP.

Word Trip. I very much enjoy this game. I can play for a few minutes or a few hours. The tournaments are interesting and, as well as I feel like I do with the game, I don’t do as well on the tournaments. I honestly would like to know what a person is doing to get several thousand more points (more than I am) is doing to get them! Well, not just me, than everyone! There is no way to communicate with other players sooo.... I’m 65+ and have been developing dementia for the past 20 yrs. (undiagnosed) and I enjoy my vocabulary increasing by playing. If you are strangely wonderful as I am, give it a try!! Wha ha ha. I thought of a problem I’ve had; sometimes I get a bonus of a word, however it shows as a free hint so I only get one letter instead of one word. The bonus’s repeat the same thing which is not usual. Those need to be checked.

All that I have done. Challenging but fun; frustrating at times but very satisfying to complete each oneI I really enjoy this game. Sometimes the challenge gets to me, but I’ve discovered that if I keep trying, I can figure things out I am hooked. As a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin (the real UT) with an English major, I love words so playing this game gives me an opportunity to learn new ones, practice old ones, and just spend time using what few brain cells I have left. Love playing this more and more. It’s getting harder, but even though I get frustrated, I enjoy the challenges. 5/8/23. I can’t give it up. And I go from gold to bronze back to silver so I’m not the sharpest player, but the more I play the better I get. When I haven’t had time to play, I bottom out. Love this game. some weird words Enticing. Sometimes there are words that seem to have come out of nowhere and have no meaning. But I love to play I have learned some words that are so new they are not on the internet’s dictionary!YES! Addicted to playing this!

Great! But I agree that spin the wheel is very selfish with winning words.. Good way to keep up with vocabulary... as good as or better than crosswords! Spin the wheel is unfair. I spin 2’s constantly! Never get a word!! I was cheated out of my two spins twice!! Definitely an addicting but fun game... get tired of so many “2’s” when I spin though. Build one’s vocabulary with this game There is definitely a trend with getting low numbers on the spins! Let’s win a free word on the sound more often!!!!! Angry one minute because the spins stink yet so addicting and fun! Does anyone really read these????? The whole spin the wheel thing is a scam. Even when you DO get three spins it is often three 2’s!!! It seems that now that I am so far along in the game that it’s not always functioning correctly... Fun Game - Ad Service is Invasive. Fun game- some levels can be pretty challenging. i like the mini games. don't like that it can use contractions and some foreign words, but not proper nouns or most slang. Ad rate is what it is- but the most annoying thing is its intrusion- 50% of ads automatically redirects to its own ad space, then opens my app store too- pretty invasive. it cant buy the app unless you click of course, but the 30 second ad becomes 40 seconds by the time you click back and close all the windows. not real sure this is in tune with privacy laws, but i guess there’s probably a line about in the T&C’s. the other thing is ad removal at $4.99 a WEEK? don't know who’s counting, but that’s a lofty $20 x 12 annually. with volume of players, there’s no way they’re not raking in cash hand over fist. at that cost, i’ll suffer the ads, thanks- just stop the continuous redirects, please.

Thank you but.... Thank you very much but I think when you go to the spinner you only have one thing that gives you a free hint and so many that are coins. You should put an even hints and even coins because there is a 2% of getting a hint and a 98% of getting coins. You should have a 50% of getting a hint and 50% of getting coins see how the hint are even with the coins when I did it the second way and the first one wasn’t even close to each other see. Glitches. This game is fun and challenging when it is working correctly. However that is rarely the case. When I play on my iPad it freezes up when I am trying to solve words. For example you are trying to drag your finger across from one letter to the next and it doesn't even move for 10 or 20 seconds, sometimes even longer. That is bad but I will tell you is even worse. When I am solving words and have almost all of them finished and the game just abruptly ends and I have start over from scratch. I have also had it go back to a level - puzzle that I had already completed. I have less than 100 levels to go, seriously I just hope to finish the all and move on to something else.i think my problems all to do with me iPad be about 10 years old as it only has O/S of 9.3

Mostly fun, I guess. It’s fun and I figure it's better for my mind than other games. But they had an update recently where I get less free spins for bonuses. I don’t like updates that make it worse for the user. It’s just greed because now we have to pay money or watch an advertisement to get spins sooner. They also have these gold rush tournaments - sometimes it’s fun, but you get just as many gold leafs (points, per say) for guessing a 3 letter word than you do a 7 letter word, and higher levels have less 3-letter words so it’s harder to get leaves (points) if you’ve worked hard to get to higher levels. Also, I am thankful for the dictionary (after you’ve guessed a word), but some of these words I have literally never heard of. Some of these words make me think they’re working from some Old English dictionary. Not a glowing review, but I really have played 50 days in a row - I just don’t like the recent update (and I don’t like in-app purchases so 1/2 my hard work on this isn’t rewarded at all since my “piggy bank” has been full for a month).

Review. The last update doesn't work. Ads are freezing all the time. On a general note: the repetition of words over and over again are killing me and boring me. Not only that a certain limited number of words are used but even the same group of words are reused and recycled. Same 6-7 letter words over and over again. Not to mention 3-letter words. Am sick of the same 20-ish words used. The above is what I wrote last year. Now it's even worse. Your app blocks my phone. Freezes all the time. Doesn't allow me to usr other aps because it remains frozen for a quite some time. It won't allow a phone call to come to my screen although I hear it ring. It takes 15-20 min before it "releases" my phone so I can switch it off and on. Something is very off with your latest, and a few before latest versions of your app. When I press the option to seek help, the app took me to a web page that is blocked by my browser. The worst is that nobody reads these reviews and tries to fix the app.

Word trip. I enjoy the challenge of finding the words in the letters, particularly without time pressure so I can come and go at my pace. I didn’t know how long I would stay with it, but I have continued to enjoy it. I have now gotten far enough that I’m solving puzzles that less than 0.1% of players get to. The letter hints are helpful, letting me know where to start unscrambling. For a long time, out of pride and truculence, I resisted paying for them and just played using a separate word-unscrambler app. After a while, though, that felt like too much help; I wanted to look for the word myself. I have a few complaints. One, there are a lot of words they don’t use that they could use, that are more interesting than the common words the app allows. The same small words show up all the time, so they can get boring. If I’ve been playing the game for too long, it can be frustrating and annoying when I can’t see even the common words. One other complaint is that the words of encouragement that come up when you finish a puzzle are pretty limited. I expected more variety and more interesting unusual words. One early on was misspelled — that was pretty funny for a word-based app. All in all, if you like messing about with words, this is an engrossing game, without too many errors. When the dumb ads come on, you can just put the phone down.

Love this game!. This game is addictive but relaxing! I love the easy puzzles but I also love the challenge of the harder puzzles. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I want to quit but then I’m the type of person that doesn’t like anything to get the best of me so it makes me push harder to keep on trying to figure out the hard puzzles. I have been going thru a really hard time in my life right now but this game has helped me to relax & take my mind off of my issues in the evening so that I can unwind for the night. I would definitely recommend this game to everyone.

Very enjoyable!!. I have enjoyed Word Trip for several years but I can’t remember exactly when I started playing it. I got one of my sons to play and he liked the challenge of coming up with the words. I am giving a four star review only because I don’t like being rated myself from good to bad and back to good again at different levels. But I allow it because I am addicted to the game and the enjoyment I get when I complete the puzzle. I do need hints to different levels of the game when my brain doesn’t kick in and having the first letter of the words is the biggest help which I guess some may call cheating but I’m not competing with anyone so it’s more enjoyable that way. When my brain does kick in and I can get thru one game after another and end up completing several I feel a bit proud of myself. I think this is why I’m addicted and play almost every day. I find it better than crossword puzzles and I love word games but have not found any that I like as much as this one.

Addicting but…!. I get that mobile games will do whatever they can to get you to pay for them instead of using the game for free, I get that free games typically have ads (the creators of the games need to make money too.) My only issue in this particular circumstance is how frequently they inflict the ads on you, the ads are often VERY loud, VERY long and while I personally have no real problem with this some out there might but many of the ads are for gambling games (real money gambling games.) So, I’m including that here just as a heads up to parents or people who may not appreciate that particular ad experience. Otherwise it’s an addicting great little time waster game.

Brainstorming. It’s amazing how many words can be formed from one word. It really gets you thinking! Gotta be good for those brain cells! I feel very cheated. I play this game every day. I played yesterday for a couple of hours. I believe that I played into the mid-afternoon. I came back to it and should have had one more chest (or whatever you want to call it) left before getting to the super prize and I got zonked with “time expired”! That’s bull! This ways the third time this was done to me! I love playing this because it really makes you think, but it’s totally unfair when you get to near the end, and get knocked right out of getting the super prize. So I’m taking back two stars because, like I said, I feel very cheated!

Word Trip. Always fun-doesn’t get old or boring. Still fun and challenging. I still feel the same. Months continue to pass, and this game is still challenging, fun and aducational. After months and months this game is still educational and stimulating. My vocabulary has grown during Covid. I still give this game 5 stars! Still 5 stars. Still challenging. Still play almost every day. This game is still challenging and relaxing. It doesn’t bombard you with adds. It throws in some odd words, but that just keeps you from getting lazy. I still enjoy Word Trip, but sometimes the words are not in the dictionary and have no definition. That becomes frustrating. It didn’t used o do that.

Mixed bag. I have played nearly 7000 games, so I have a good feel for the game. I also am well educated with a large vocabulary, so that’s why I have played this game so much. I have a couple of problems with this game. The first is that the dictionary is HORRIBLE. It appears to be a random collection of words that appealed to a drunk person. I would guess that I have generated over 10,000 words that I know exist—but that this horrible dictionary does not recognize as real words. It is very, very frustrating. They need to link to a real dictionary. Another problem involves the ads. I realize that these folks make money by selling ads. I get it. However, we went from getting 10 coins for a 5- or 10-second ad. Then, over time, that has gone to 2 ads for 10 coins. Now, they have gone to 3 stinkin’ ads for 10 coins! I probably will stop playing this game as a result.

Ads far too long. I’m talking WAY TOO Long. As I got further into the game, the ads started appearing after 1 or 2games. Very annoying as I had to watch it for a very long time before I could get out of it. This review I’m writing kicks me out as I’m writing like they don’t want my full review. Due to the ad issues, I gave it 2 stars. But it put it as 3 star. Weird. I know ads help pay for the game usage if you don’t pay for no ads. That doesn’t bother me but to show one for a very long time before offering me the option to close the ad is enough for to remove the game completely. I have few other games on device but nothing like this. It is annoying as heck. Goodbye game.

Love and Hate. I went and looked up this game to read the reviews because I love this game, er I love the concept. I hate this specific game. I don’t think it was developed well at all. Some levels are fair, the words not included in the puzzle are put in the word bank for you which fills up and you can “empty” it to get more coins. It is still challenging but fair, most of the words are typical and it makes it addicting like why didn’t I see that!? If you are stuck on one word at least you can try to add words to the word bank. The other levels don’t recognize words to put in the word bank and have obscure words in the puzzle. Its like they didn’t do any quality review or maybe some of the puzzle designers aren’t native english speakers? Idk but its frustrating, who would spend money on this!? Its bad. But addicting. Also, it takes forever to get more coins. The words in stars on the puzzle will only earn you 2 or 3 coins, no matter how strange and difficult the word is. The levels vary in difficulty but not the coins you earn after completion. It will only give you 3 coins, no matter the difficult or number of words. The wheel isn’t fair either. There has to be a similar game designed better than this.

Fun Game. Interesting trip around the "world" through word puzzles. Good source of new vocabulary words, as well as testing those words already known. Spelling Bee, Gold Rush and Jigsaw Puzzle games keep it from getting boring. In all fairness, it is fun and educational. I feel like I am getting a lot out of it, mentally. I gave this game four stars for one reason: 1. There are many actual English words that the game doesn't recognize as REAL words - they would need to be added by the company. There is a "suggestions" area where a player can request them to be added, I've yet to see any of them added to the puzzle. That is my one issue with what is otherwise a very good game that has great graphics, albeit at a lot of battery power used - I usually have my phone plugged in to an outlet whenever I play it.

Fun but some criticisms... One criticism I have is 10 coins for if I watch an ad so u cn get a hint or help, but a hint is 25 coins, so u have to watch multiple ads just to get that and then u end up using all ur coins, so frustrating…when u win a level only like 3 coins u get ugh… I had to use a word site I found off google just to get past levels cuz some words they have I didn’t even know was a word or had trouble otherwise if I didn’t do that. I feel like u have to be really good with words to know how to play this, some levels are very challenging. Don’t get me wrong sometimes it’s fun that way, but sometimes it’s hard cuz u don’t get too many coins if u want a letter. Also the ad is falsely advertised for this game, when u actually get this game it doesn’t play as it’s advertised… u are going to loose players if u keep showing lies with ur ads.. i will never get this game until u make as it’s advertised…. It’s stupid to advertise it as one thing and then when people download it they find out it’s nothing like as the ad showed.. for example it shows questions like honest is the blank policy and ur supposed too put the answer in.. sorry but Im completely disappointed in this game

Ads are blocking game activity. I used to love this game. And I understand the need for ads to pay for the app. I am 100% OK with ads. But lately, the ads are doing this thing where you click the X and it sends you to the download page, which is where you obviously did not want to go. Then when you click done on the download page of the app they’re trying to get you to download, it sends you right back to the ad. Rinse and repeat about four or five times. Meanwhile, you can hear the game going on behind the ad. You can’t see where the points are being applied from your previous puzzle and added to your total. You can’t see your previous rank and don’t know how well you did moving up the ranks. It’s infuriating. I gave two stars out of nostalgia. I’ve had this game for years. Uninstalled.

Fun.…but bugs 🐞 🕷 🐛 🐜. I am addicted to this app. I have had this app for a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time and now it is December 2021 on my iPhone 13 iOS 15.1.1. I had to delete and reinstall this app several times. It had many spam ads about this weight loss keto medication and I deleted it. I thought deleting it and reinstalling it would help fix this which was true. It did! After I deleted WordTrip the weight loss keto ads lessened but much more issues appeared. Issue number one, it made me change my Facebook password many times just for reinstalling it. After doing that the second issue showed up. The app rewards stopped functioning properly. Thirdly, the notifications option never came back. Lastly, the rewards stopped collecting, growing in number and renewing. Sadly, I am not paying $15 for more coins so I’m gone for good.

Great game but..... This is a truly fun game and I just noticed the dictionary which adds to the fun. There have been a few words that I thought were names and I wished I had found the dictionary sooner. I love getting credit for bonus words which make me work harder to find the “right” that they want you to find. However, only rated it four stars because the ads are overly frequent and obnoxiously long! I would buy the game but it’s ridiculously expensive. I will just put up with them until I tire of the game. But I will admit there hasn’t been a game that captured my interest like this one for quite some time. It is very addictive but again $50 a year is ludicrous for a game. I can put up with the ads for that price. Addendum: I’ve been playing this game since February now and got my husband on to it as well. He’s a bigger game but than I am. However, I’ve now had an ad lock up my game totally 2-3 times now which is very annoying and bothersome. I’ve been troubled the number of ads at times but aside from that they didn’t bother me. Until they lock up the game! This most recent one is the McLaren of Palm Beach ad. It’s a video that doesn’t play and I now can’t make it go away either!! So no more game! It’s infuriating to say the least. I’ve enjoyed the game but could make better use of my time if it’s going to keep locking up. What can I do?

Decent game. This is a good game that actually requires some skill. I have played it for about two weeks now and although I mostly enjoy it, there are some criticisms. Some reviews mentioned spinning the wheel is rigged, and I totally agree. I have spun it about 600 times, never got the puzzle bomb thing. I don’t even know what it does. Also, when I watch the videos to get free coins, sometimes they want me to play a quick demo of a game, and then I can’t exit out of that, meaning I have to close and restart the game. And can we please have more than one track for music? And last of all, wisdom scores are useless. There’s not even a leaderboard for them. But at the end of the day I really enjoy this game as it makes you think other than rely on luck like candy crush. Most of my criticisms are minor really. I would definitely give it a try!

Fun game but buggy!. My wife and I love the challenge of this word game! However over the past few months the sound and and voice overs cannot be heard any longer. We tried several things, like ensuring the volume is turned up, turning off the iPad, removing and reinstalling the app to no avail (the latter resulted in having to restart all of our previous achievements, which obviously was a big nuisance). Also considering that the sound of ALL other apps we have on our iPad works just fine, it is obvious there is a bug in the game algorithm that prevents the sound from being delivered. In addition, lately, we noticed several words are not in alphabetical order anymore, making it weird to play, to say the least. So we may decide to switch to other word games, which is sad since we liked this one a lot.

About to delete this. Word Trip is fun and helps to sharpen your brain. However, I’m seriously thinking of deleting it for a number of reasons. WT has a daily spelling bee in which you used to be able to earn extra points in lieu of having to purchase them. That’s no longer the case. If you wanted to watch an ad to earn 10 points, you could do so. And you were told exactly how many minutes to wait. Now I’m constantly told there are no videos available so try again later. And still later. The daily ticket once had extra points or spins; now it’s mostly pithy yet silly affirmations or quotes. Finally, I should not have to restart my phone after I’ve watched a video to earn 10 points; which has happened several times.

Too frustrating. As an older adult I often look for new word games to keep the brain going, and the ad for this one seemed to have a different twist. i downloaded it, and just as with many apps before, the ad for the game is misleading because it does not play as advertised. I decided to try it anyway. Initially the game was okay, but then the ads began. Do not get me wrong...I get the ads and why they are used. You need money and it keeps the game free. We all have heard this before. But for a game that only costs a buck to clear the ads, you certainly use a lot of ads to cover that dollar. As a rule I do not pay for games unless I find it to be a classic, well designed, true to the game app. Once it is full of prizes and gimmicks, I am rarely interested. This game lost me with its ads interrupting me every other level and the prizes that constantly showed up. The ads often would not go away; just lead to yet another screen to watch and try to close. Sometimes I could not close out. I had to respond to screen to make it clear. This is not going to happen. The app is not as it was advertised, it has way too many ads to cover its cost, and it has too many gimmicks, prizes, and fluff. I just want a simple, challenging word game that plays as advertised. I can take the ads as long as they are incorporated responsibly. This one did not....so it has been deleted.

Inconsistent But Entertaining. It’s challenging and fun as long as you get the opportunity to score a lot of points with lengthy words or a lot of letters to form many words. The game is inconsistent. One moment you have 7 letters and about 30 or more words to form aside from bonus words that go in the backpack. Then when it’s inconvenient you have 5 or 6 letters and only 6 or 12 words to form which earns a fraction of the points you would earn and yes this happens even when maintaining Emerald status, so it is not the best way to win when competing in Gold Rush nor to maintain Emerald status. This inconsistency makes it difficult to maintain Emerald status. In stead of earning 100 or more points per round you end up earning as little as 16 points per round. Truly awful, but still very stimulating for the brain.

Enjoy game , But…. I enjoy this game, but it’s frustrating when a perfectly good word does not get accepted, goes to the top left instead, or just don’t work. Also, the complimenting voice is both too loud and too often. I tried the choice of giving information about myself once, but it was just too intrusive. I’ll go along with earning points by watching, but I wish that the music was not too loud, and my watching time so long, and could see more easily how to get back to the game afterwards. I also wish that I would earn more than 3 points for watching. Hope this helps.

Gets my brain when I wake up. I really enjoy playing this game, as I lay in bed, waking up each morning. It gets my brain moving. The daily games are not a challenge, but are a lovely break when I start to get frustrated with the main game. Thank you for those. My reason for not giving a higher rating is that I’m continually stymied by the ads that freeze on my screen. The ads for Royal Match do this this most. At least twice I’ve gotten to 60+ days in a row of playing the game, then an ad freezes the screen long enough to actually skip a day of play, bringing me back to day one. Very frustrating. I’m not complaining about the number of ads, just the ones that freeze the screen & do not let me get back to the game.

What happened?. This morning I had over 4000 points and was #2 in the Gold Rush tournament. Somehow, today, 3,000 points disappeared, and I fell to #11. I bought a gold piggy bank today. I would not have done it if I had no chance to win the tournament. At times yesterday, I was #1. I spent a lot of time and money playing, and I don’t understand what happened. Can you explain it? Maybe I should move on to other games. This happened a while ago now. I keep playing, but I don’t understand it when you say that words that are not words are acceptable. If a word is not in the dictionary and no one other than you finds it acceptable, how is that fair? Can I make up my own words? I hate all of the ads. I should not have to pay money every month to not have to see them.

Ceiling on earning coins?. I was not aware that there was a ceiling on the amount of gold coins a player could earn in the game. I got up to 59,999 gold coins and from that point on I could not earn any coins in the contests I won, I could not earn the 30 coins given for emptying my backpack, and I could not even get the 3 coins for each individual game I finished. What exactly is going on here? I gave you my money and did the add free version of the game. I enjoy playing the game very much but this apparent limit on how much coins a player can earn greatly reduces the enjoyment of playing. I see on the screen that I am supposed to spend some of my coins in order to earn more. Why can't I just continue to earn coins if I do not have a particular need to spend any? I'm very disappointed and am considering just deleting the game at this point. I would appreciate hearing from the developer about this issue. Thank you.

Word trip. I've enjoyed playing against others and it really is challenging. I think it's wrong to expect someone to pay to get their own coins out of their own piggy bank. I absolutely refuse to pay. I will collect my own coins the hard way. That's only fair when you're in a tournament. I like to see my own honest progression. Not cheating against my opponents. Also your instructions. Are horrible. I have had to learn the hard way of how to get more points for my words. One more thing, I did get to #1 spot but never got recognition on my board. I have a photo that I took to prove it. All in all the game is fast and challenging sometimes.

Ok time-killer. Update 2: still playing still not sure why. Same issues. Guess I just want to see what happens at the end. UPDATE 1: Still feel the same as my original post. It’s an okay game. Nothing more. Not exactly special and can be rather boring. Words are constantly-and I do mean constantly-repeated in every single game. Every. Single. Game. As if “ate, est, and tea” or “are,era, est” are the only 3-letter words in existence. Ugh! And way too many valid words are not accepted though you do get “credit” for finding words not actually in the puzzle. Too often a valid word isn’t recognized at all which is frustrating. I play this when I’m bored with my usual faves and just want to play something that is only minimally challenging. Have considered deleting several times but haven’t yet. Kind of want to see where it goes though I’m not seeing any improvement in the higher levels (if that’s what you want to call them?). Can’t recommend downloading but can’t give a total thumbs down either. Perfect 1-word description? Meh.

Inappropriate ads. I like the game but there are a bunch of dieting ads about Oprah approved gummies that supposedly help you lose more than 60 pounds in a few weeks without diet or exercise. Not even someone starving themselves could do that. Even if it were possible, losing that much weight in that short of a time would pose tremendous health risks. And Oprah DOES NOT endorse these gummies. It’s false advertising at best and a health risk at worst. The game says it wants you to report inappropriate and scam ads but it doesn’t give you an easy way to do that. I managed to message them on Facebook but have received no response. Also, the spinner cheats. I can see it stop on a good one and it jumps to another at the last moment. Also, some of the words are slang.

Recent change. I have been playing for several years. Previously the words were in alphabetical order. Recently, however, the words appear in more or less random order. For instance, in the game I just completed, the word ore occurred between ear and era. Other times, they are alphabetized by first letter but not by second letter. Words may appear as flow, foal fare. Arrangements such as these require the use of hints in order to solve the puzzle. I realize that this generates more ad income, but it is very frustrating to find such random and illogical solutions in what had previously been a logical and relaxing game. If this continues, I will probably delete the app

Fun game!. Yes, there is literally an ad in between every level. But, half of them let you skip them and some are for games I actually downloaded and enjoyed. The game itself is deceptively simple. I’m somewhere around the 21st country. There are now 6 letter words, but still 3s. The words aren’t hard… they’re words I am familiar with. But training your eye to see words you use less frequently or just training your eye to unsee a pattern you found can be challenging! Multiple generations in my family now play this game and all love it equally. Kind of fun to keep up with where you are against them. But the ads, my dudes! It’d be a 5 star if there were fewer.

Credits. I have bought a few credits recently. I have been charged for them but did I get them - NO. Am I angry about it - YES+++. A little message when I was updating SUGGESTS that my purchase will be credited to me but that has not happened in the last couple of days and not even in the last couple of minutes. So about a week later I still have the same problem. I am still angry ++++ about this!

Good but better if able to play without ads. Good game but the ads are annoying and you cannot get rid of them. Would be much better with this option. However very addictive if you like word puzzles

Too many Ads. Good straightforward game, easy to navigate and fun if you love the frustration of finding what’s obvious, but miles away. Too many ads and mini videos for other games that rely on ad revenue. Otherwise pretty solid little word game with some fun competitive features.

Great fun game. Have enjoyed this game immensely and played it every day. A word of warning if playing in the regular tournaments: if you are competitive you risk being locked out of the game. So enjoy it, despite the tedious ads, but don’t be sucked in to spending time pursuing the tiny points rewards as you will likely be locked out of the game. By the way, I checked on several occasions that it wasn’t a technical fault at my end. My friend was able to access the game at the times I was locked out, using her device on my modem. Issues. Let me begin by saying that this is a great game, I love word games and games that challenge me cognitively. Unfortunately, this game freezes constantly. Even after closing it down and reloading it is often still frozen. I’ve checked that the app is up to date that my phone is up to date and I’ve tried restarting my phone to no avail. It’s very disappointing because I would like to keep playing but it won’t let me!

Too many pop ups. I’m used to games having ads at the bottom, and I’m used to games that have the occasional pop up ad, but this game is too much. I’ve had it less than one day and I’m thinking of uninstalling it. I enjoy finding the words, but the sheer amount of ads and their cost to remove them is ruining the enjoyment of it.

Pleasantly addictive. I really enjoy this game and your method of allowing opportunities to earn coins instead of having to buy them should be the gold standard. What would make this even better would be for the music to reflect the destinations.

A Gentle Workout For the Brain. This is a great game for any time of day, whether you want to learn new words and test your brain or just relax after a long day. The idea of touring the world as you play is really cool. The ability to see the definition of a word just by tapping it is awesome for growing your vocabulary. Good game but some bad design flaws.. I enjoy the game very addictive , good puzzles. But when you load up the game it shows you the puzzle you are up to, the wheel of letters. Just as you start to see the words Jump out at you all these ridiculous things flash up about tournaments and coins you earned etc , and you can’t close these down you have to go claim them all and see what they are showing you; and in the mean time you forget all the words you already deciphered in the puzzle it’s super frustrating. I just want to solve the puzzle not all this other stuff in the way distracting me ! Please at least put an x so you can close these messages away if you don’t want them. I would happily give five stars if they would fix this. One more small annoyance is that even when signed into game centre If I move to my other device it hasn’t synchronised and I end up doing all the puzzles twice.

Challenging. I really enjoy this game, sometimes the USA spelling is different to Aust so it’s challenging! My only complaint is the adds that won’t go, keep on repeating and just too many! Several times I was going to quit because of the continued adds.

In your face advertising. I get that they need to advertise. But this app does a couple of really annoying things. First you’ll get an ad with a delay then you play find the x to get rid of it. But even if you do get the x. Another ad for the same thing starts immediately and you again have to find the x. But the real kicker. Despite having sound completely disabled in the app. The stupid ads play sounds. Wiping out my music. And at the end it doesn’t return to my music. 1 star for what is otherwise a fun game.

Word trip. This is an excellent game. Best I have come across so far. It is interesting as well as educative. I have already introduced this to several friends and they too love it. Some of them have got addicted to it. Best of luck for the future.

Unfortunately when it comes to the competitions, they are open to cheating by people who download the answers from the internet and are therefore able to post large scores in a short space of time. Stop the Cheats! I totally agree with this review. You must find a way to stop the cheats. Not a fair competition. STOP THE CHEATS!!!

Badly designed dictionary. Several of us play this in our house. Everyone of us gets frustrated that from puzzle to puzzle it’s totally random if a word is accepted. Ie in some ‘gam’ is accepted, then a suddenly it’s not a recognised word. Also words like ‘pees’ is a word, but not it’s core word ‘pee’ but seriously it’s like each level someone has tried to think up words and forgets what else is a word. It ruins “runs” and other awards because real words are missing from one puzzle to the next (you score bonus points for extra words). And you use a word you’ve used 50 times and suddenly just for that one level… it’s not a word that exists… then it’s back next time. Have a central lookup dictionary. Not one for each individual level. 1/5 for poor design

I'm not surprised. I was enjoying this game and the challenge but twice now, for no apparent reason, I have reached 0.22% and then gone back to 0.26%? 3May: Since I reached Myanmar level 12 I have not had a percentage rating. This takes away the challenge and a lot of the fun. Otherwise a great game.

Too many pop ups. It’s a great game and gets your brain thinking. For me, I HATE how many pop ups I have to click through before I can play. I just enjoy finding the words - I’m not interested in any of the side competitions or the piggy bank or anything. Sometimes when I open the game up to play and get hit with the million pop ups I have to click through, I just close the game off and move onto something else.

No videos available. I have been playing this game for a long time but of late I’ve been frequently getting a message saying no videos are available. I find it frustrating that a part of the game is often unavailable. Also the game has begun to freeze, coincidentally at the end of a video and therefore I don’t get points for watching it. I do appreciate that the dictionary feature has been added.

Word trip game. I think it’s rigged as the wheel mostly lands on the lowest score & this is very frustrating!! Plus ur freezes up & u can’t get through all the spins! Word play. The game is terrific but once all targets ate met there is nothing more. I just want to play the game without having to play a competition all the time. Account deleted. Been playing for about 2.5 years now - was in about 4,500 levels, and had gathered over 6,000 coins. Opened the app one morning to play - and my account has been reset…….back to the first level. Needless to say - I’m not going to do these 4,500 levels again. It really only started to get somewhat difficult (but still do-able) in the last 100 or so levels. If someone from Word Trip wanted to contact me to find my account - I’d keep going…….

Game differences. My whole family has recently downloaded this game. However there are some differences. For example some have a list of countries and others have a map. Most have a backpack for bonus words however I do not. All the games are up to date. Why are there differences?

Sissyliz. I have been playing this game for a long time now. I am determined to go as far as I can without buying any coins. The minute I have to buy coins to go further, I will be uninstalling the app, which is common practice for me. I’m almost up to level 1000 and the percentage of players at this point is at 0.054. It would be good to get better rewards for higher levels. BUT it is SOOO slow. I’m playing it offline, so I’m not getting any ads. But the minute I take time to look for a word it goes to sleep! I then have to tap tap tap to wake it up again- it doesn’t go black on me like others are saying, but it might as well. I am at this moment trying to get the update. Nothing is happening. I find it’s not terribly hard, you only need a good vocabulary to get through, but there are real words that it won’t even put into the bonus words which is a bit frustrating. Apart from all that, as I said I the beginning, I’m determined to go as far as I can. I am enjoying the challenge.

Quite a good game. I enjoy playing but get frustrated because after a few minutes I need more hints than I can get free points for. I’d love to be rewarded like in other games when words guessed are in the games dictionary but not in that puzzle. I’d also love to see the country ‘visited’ feature in the words rather than just random words.

Game has gone to ruin. I have been playing this game for ages. Originally downloaded as it has the words in alphabetical order. Now that I am in the expert puzzles area. The words are not in order and the latest update has the pen icon just hanging. Please fix or I’m out of here.

Frustrated. Very frustrating when app freezes all the time. No way of refreshing it other than delete and reload!!! This is happening more and more often. I love this game but am seriously considering deleting it forever. So sad!

Has become very frustrating. I have been, addictively, playing this game (and really love it) for some time now and have progressed a long way. However in recent weeks I am finding it really difficult because it keeps on closing down causing me to have to start it again. This makes it very difficult when participating in competitions. The time spent having to start the game up again so frequently has become extremely frustrating, taking the pleasure from he game. I hope there is a "fix" for this problem. I have only updated the program in the last few days and it seems to be worse since then.

Highly educational and fun game as well.. I would recommend this puzzle to those understanding the English language on a high level or even those wish to learn more.

Too many adds. Too many adds. I only get one go before I get an add. If you have to have adds at least give me five goes to get me interested. As it is I’m enjoying the game but can’t see me playing it as I’m sick of all the adds and the same boring one.

Fun BUT..... This is a well set out game but scoring is inconsistent. When it comes to tournaments, you can be stuck on a set of countries that score low points, while others are scoring three times as much. It makes an uneven playing field.

Try harder. I think it is sometimes a little boring to play because there are not a lot of updates and there is not that much spice in it and when you watch 5 ads we get 100 coins so it is more interesting

Awesome Fun!. OMG! I can’t believe how much fun this is.... I mean it doesn’t compare to watching paint dry but it’s almost as good.. well, not quite as good as watching two flies on the window sill but y’know that’s a pretty high bar! Enjoy this game, then wonder why you are wasting your life!

Word Trip. Really enjoy playing this game. Can be challenging at times, however, enjoy the challenge and I just wait until I've earnt enough credit for a hint, rather than spend money. It may mean that I have to wait for a little while but that is fine, I do get there. Unlike other games, that make it impossible and impassable to get to any level without spending a lot of money, this game is a refreshing and extremely pleasant change to not be one of those. Game freezes, no contact reply, time wasting. Enjoyed this game for free for quite a long time but it then started to freeze a lot and the lost time trying to unfreeze and/to keep moving forward made for a very frustrating program towards the end. I sent some comments about this but got no reply. I have not engaged the program for several weeks now and I doubt I will continue with it

Is it really a competitive event?. I think the game is fun until you try to do the events. I believe it is a scam cos as soon as you climb up the ladder to get to 3rd/4th position to win some coins, some other “player”who haven’t even been on the ladder comes and knock you off the spot and you’re back to 6th if not lower. And it always happens when you have only a few hours left on the event. I don’t think it’s a competition if it’s fixed. I’m dropping this game for that reason.

Me1. I have been playing this game for a long time. The adds are annoying but I have put up with them until now. There are lots of adds that you cannot close after watching. I have to close the game or the game will close by itself. If the ads continue like this I will have to close the game. It’s no use playing a game when you can’t progress after watching an add.

Game froze. Enjoyed game paid over $50 for coins at a high level. The game froze on advert and would not change. I had to get a refund for the money spend.

Brain work. Have to play at least twice a day, to keep everything in the brain box in working order ;-)

Good game. I really like the game but I do have a suggestion. I have been playing for nearly two years and in all that time (I play daily). In all that time I have only gotten the special awards ie free letter or word less than 5 times. It should be a regular treat so to speak. Maybe once a week. Something to hope for. WORDSCAPES. It’s addicting. Gets really hard the farther you go. I wish when you finished a country it would reward more tokens. There is no way I would “subscribe” for a year $50. I’ve never run across a “subscribe” to an app...witch in a year it will automatically Bill again. I don’t want to join something that I will probably be bored with in less than 6 months. No rewards for solving the bee game anymore. What’s the incentive? Things got worse. The scratch ticket is a joke. All the phrases and no reward. At some point with the cost of hints being 25 and up…..the spin wheel lands on 3 all the time, rarely able to make enough to get any hints unless you purchase a minimum of $5.99 package. I am close to deleting app.

Like the game too many ads. This is a fun game. It seems like one of those games that are used to advertise other peoples games. This game wants $49 a year to play that’s crazy. I’ve played other games that are far superior and you can earn the game for five dollars. That’s why I think they have no intention of you actually buying. But that game is very enjoyable. That would just prefer buying it for five dollars and getting rid of the ads. They have a lot of incentives, and they tell you what your score is compared to everyone playing, that’s kind of fun.

Too Many Marathon Tournaments. You’re just starting anothe puzzle and WHAM! A tournament lasting some 3 days pops up and you have no way to opt out. Keep in mind that these puzzles not only involve skill at finding words but time to complete them. It’s quite obvious to me that many participating in these marathons spend hours on end playing them. So unless you’re prepared to spend 40 plus hours playing this game, it doesn’t really matter how good you are finding the words. To avoid this, you just need to see how long the marathon lasts, then close out the gameuntil the tournament ends.

NFL teams have a long way in history and they. Word Trip. I’ve been playing this puzzle every morning for about the past 2 yrs. Today was the first time I landed on “Puzzle Bomb” when I spun the wheel. The Bomb quickly plugged in the remaining words for me which I still had about 5 words remaining to solve. My only complaint is that once the words were filled in by the “Bomb” the puzzle quickly disappeared & moved onto the next game before I had a chance to see what the missing words were. What a disappointment it was to not know what the words were that challenged me so. What’s up with that and what’s the point?

Get This App!!!. I love this app because some are hard and challenging. I like a good challenge every once and a while. You can create your own account and and put your birthday. When you put your birthday in it they will have it themed for you. I have had this for a while and still haven’t reached the end of the level yet. But let me warn you it has adds. There are not bad! Word Trip. I really like this app! However every time it is updated it freezes more & more! The screen goes blank & the only way I can get it to work again is to completely shut down my phone & wait about 30 seconds before I turn my phone back on! It’s very frustrating to have this happening several times per hour! It happens every time I try to get a hint! I hope the techs will fix this!!! If so I will change my rating to 5 stars. Only after it works after another update!

Great game paid by awful sexist game ads. I love this game. I have no problem working though game ads to use a well done free app like this one. The problem is this is a game for using your brain and the adds are constant adds of a helpless female that suffers house fires and freezing cold holding a baby based on obvious dumb choices. They believe I am smart enough to pay complicated word games and think it’s ok to play videos of a helpless women that chooses tape over a wooden door to keep out the winter cold? It’s an ad for a sexist offensive game that has no intellectual alignment. I’m shocked that anyone smart enough to create or own this game could think those ads are acceptable. I hope they look to other partners. Great game but lost all credibility via inappropriate partners.

Word trip. Hello! I love this game! I’m a very anxious person. This is my go to game! It’s so calming just the word search itself but add that calming music and it will certainly change the day for you. You guys are really on something here I’m sure this could help a lot of people if they were aware of it. So many of the games I have tried are great but the music it self can give you anxiety. Alphabetized?. I have been playing this game for awhile. Yesterday, I was prompted to update the app. I must add that this occurred while in ER being evaluated for head injury. I began playing the new version which appears to be mostly alpha but with a few “misplaced” words. I thought at the time that I was having serious issues (with my brain). Had to confirm with my husband on multiple occasions to confirm what I was seeing. Today, working on a puzzle with 3 four letter words. In order of how they are placed: year, tray, trey. It’s not my brain, but what gives?

False advertisement. This game is quite fun and educational...until you get into some of the upper levels. Then words that are known don’t count, and words that you cannot look up a definition from an outside source are listed....and the definition given by the game is questionable considering it can’t be validated elsewhere. In my last level, the word when selected even said ON THE GAME ITSELF (sorry! There is no definition for this word at the moment.) What the heck? If it can’t be defined, it’s not a word. It’s just letters. Any intelligent person knows the unbelievable amount of possibilities of putting random letters together. Need to keep to the description of the game-which states the words are all well known.

Good game, but technical glitches may make me delete. Once you get to the upper levels, the game is challenging and fun to play. However, I have had to uninstall and reinstall frequently because the game freezes. It often takes several seconds to recognize the pattern I drag between the letters and sometimes I have to quit in the app switcher and restart. I have a fairly new iPad with plenty of memory. My other gripe is I can’t turn off the annoying music. I’ve gone into settings and muted both and they still keep playing. The only way to stop it is to mute the iPad volume, but I don’t want volume muted for all apps. I expect I’ll have to delete this one, even though I like it.

Word Trip Review. Fun to play but recent changes to Watch Video for Extra Points taking some of the enjoyment of the game. Now you have to click out every time after 3 spins and sometimes you have to click 2-4 times before you can spin again. Before you just kept clicking spin again until 10 total spins were reached. Frustrating enough I may delete the App and try something else. And now you’ve taken away more points by requiring watching 3 videos instead of 2 to earn points. It means you have to wait over 5 hours before you can view the third video. Same with earning points via spin. When all my points are gone, so is this app.

Challenging word game. I’m now in Denmark and only 0.33% of players have completed this level and quite a few prior to this one. I keep going and the game keeps getting harder but I can’t get any better than 0.33%. It wasn’t easy getting here, but it was a lot of fun. Travel from place to place, all over the world, unscrambling words. The farther you go the harder it gets. I love the challenge and the bonus games as well! Love this game and have been playing off and on for years.

Get a new dictionary. This game was fun and challenging at first. In fact I got a little obsessed the first weekend I played it. But then it started getting more and more annoying to see questionable words arbitrarily accepted and commonly used words that are in the dictionary rejected. My latest examples-“gide” was accepted, and defined as the surname of a French Novelist. Usually the game rejects names, whether of people, products, countries, etc. Also “los” was accepted and defined as “the”. So are we using español? I’m fine with using Spanglish, but the game is not consistent. Another questionable one that was accepted was “dos” and defined as one of the usages of “to do”. That may be the way toddlers say “does”, but it is not English. This kind of stuff started happening often enough that it took the fun out of the game. Instead of feeling like I am being challenged to discover uncommon words, it seems more like a quest to figure out what the developers might think is a word this time around. Anyway, it was easy to stop the annoyance-I just stopped playing the game.

Terrible Contact Options. If you download this game, be aware that if you need to contact them with an issue, it HAS TO BE a match to the specific categories they list. Anything “outside the box” cammot be Sent. And don’t be fooled by the statemnt that words to be found are alphabetical. That may be true in the beginning, but the longer you play, that claim fails. You will waste your time trying to solve a missing word that comes between two other words that start with the same letter because the missing word is a random word that starts with a totally different letter. And since that issue doesn’t fit the given categories of problems, it will not be sent to anybody!

Isn’t it supposed to be educational. This game is sooooo frustrating like one time I put a word that actually made sense but it said it was wrong when I put random letters together it said it was right so clearly this is putting random things in my head and so this means it’s not educational and to get hints you have to spend 100 coins like seriously when I started playing this game I could barely earn 20 coins so this is clearly the worst game ever the p my reason I have it is because my brother likes it

I enjoyed the game until I realized I spent about $40 in three days!. Then I got my head back on and had to stop playing and paying $4 and $7 for a piggy bank, so I can break it and go up another level to do the same dumb thing again! What do I end up with? Nothing, just some computer telling me that I just made a fantastic move!?! If you like word games and have money to throw away, and no friends to talk to for affirmation about your abilities, then this game is for you!!!

MANY WORDS NOT USED IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE USA. I’ve found English words used in Germany, Ireland, Scotland. However, I appreciate the Dictionary you provide. It provides learning how words are used in other countries. It does cost many coins sometimes for the words not used in the USA This Game does provide a brain challenge. Thank you. This Word Trip Game is becoming too expensive. I’ve been spending an average of $60 plus per month. Browsing for a free word game Getting very expensive! Some rounds have many easy words until I reach the last 3 spaces on the average…..then I have to use plenty of coins to solve the foreign Cutting back on number of games played to cut the costs.

Challenging!. I love this game, however, there are a couple of things I would like to see change. When designing we should have access to all of our inventory. Several times when designing on my Kindle I get almost done and the screen goes black and I have to start over. My daughter has the same issue at her house. Third, when voting we should have the opportunity to vote approval of both designs. Last, it seems that voters don’t read the descriptions of the goal.

Mediocre at best. I already play Word Cookies!, so I was not really looking for another almost identical game. I saw this game as an ad in another game I was playing, but the video ad clearly showed the word list at the top as more of a crossword layout instead of just a list. Thought I’d try it out, but haven’t seen any levels that give you this type of puzzle. Not a bad game, but not what I was expecting, so I think I’ll delete and stick with Word Cookies! If you’re interested in this type of game, I’d try out Word Cookies! instead (maybe these guys will pick up some ideas from them...) Word Cookies: * Same game, but better use of words. * Places answers in alphabetical order, so you at least have an idea what letter your word might start with - not as many wasted hints. * Has lots of good words that don’t make their list, but gives you “credit” for finding extra words by rewarding you when your cookie jar fills up. * Occasionally gives “bonus rounds” by adding an additional letter and more words to find in the same puzzle.

It used to be fun. As you make your way through the game the amount of words in a puzzle resets from a lot of words to around 6. The more words the more points you get. So when you are at a high level you can’t score enough points to keep up and your ranking drops. Also, when you complete all 175 of daily spelling bee there is no reason to participate….ever. Finally, their vocabulary is truly lacking. There are many words that are not used in this game. If you let them know about the lack of words allowed they send you an automated message that says they’re working on it. I’ve gotten this message for about two years.

Fun game, annoying ads. If ads aren’t annoying enough, they are LOUD! Do not try to play this game in church, a meeting or anywhere you need to be quiet. I have set it to no sounds, so game is quiet but that does not mute ads. You can silence most of them after they blare loudly, but then next ad comes on and it plays loudly too. Silence in settings should apply to ads as well. And some ads don’t give up. The only way I can get some to stop is to quit the game. Yes I know I can mute my phone, but I’m expecting phone calls and don’t want to forget it’s on mute. Very frustrating. All that said, game is addictive and fun.

Ads won’t close. This was a fun game, but as others have said, the ads become too intrusive. 30 second ads won’t close and lead you to downloads and more wasted time. This is pretty much spam. It is also supposed to be a way you garner points, but you have to close out of game to get released from ads and don’t get the points you just wasted time watching an ad for. I thought the update might correct this but it didn’t. If you can find another similar game with out this ad baiting, skip this app and get the other one. I am going to start looking for a replacement now. Word Card Fun Collect Game is one video you are forced to watch to earn points then won’t close so you don’t earn anything.

Two annoying bugs. Please fix.. Rarely is there a word that one doesn’t know in one of these puzzles, but occasionally it occurs. You have a dictionary that one can touch the word to see its meaning, which is great. The problem is that it does not work for the last word found in the puzzle. If there is a word that one is not familiar with, and would like to see the definition, it’s usually the last word found, because the player is just guessing until they come up with that word they don’t know. In one of your other word games, you could press the definition button at the beginning of the next puzzle to see the definition of the last word found in the previous puzzle. You can’t do that in this game. Second, when the bonus word box is full, player should get prompted to clear it. As it stands, if you spell a bonus word and the box is full, it doesn’t remember that word. You lose it if you don’t know what word you spelled.

Wheel too Small. Update on Black Screen. Reaching the end of this good game. But the wheel is now so small, I keep hitting wrong letters. This is a simple technical issue. Make the wheel slightly larger and this irritating problem will vanish! I just started playing this game and it’s way too easy for way too long. But I like the feature where coins are awarded for valid words not in the puzzle! Good feature which keeps the player from feeling cheated by arbitrary word choices. But the shrieks of “SPECTACULAR” are ear-grating and terribly annoying. Maybe tone down the silly voice and have it less frequent. It’s truly awful and ruins an otherwise fun game. I like the low level sounds so I hate to mute the whole thing just to shut off the horrible voice! Now as I advance, suddenly the background is a plain ugly black screen. It’s hateful and I’m losing my enthusiasm for this otherwise good game! Surely you can put a decent background scene ... the black is dreadful!

Word TRIP. Really enjoy this, i am old and feel this helps me keep my mind active. Live by myself so This is very good theropy!! I play it all the time, it passes the time. And i really do believe it helps keep my mind from just shutting down!! This keeps my mind from going from pillar to posts!! Inot jumpybg for a second or tie and then I am some where else!! When I solve the issue puzzles here I feeel like I have accomplished something!! Passes a lot of hours, by myself so I love it!! Five stars from me!! Still having fun thanks!!

Good brain exercise. I used a variation of this game before and knew going in that as my vocabulary reached its limits I would have less enjoyment. The added longer term goals of completing puzzle piece counts etc. did add more incentive – good job on that. The negatives I have are related to the inconsistency in dictionary coverage between individual solving sets. 1) Not every word in the dictionary is acceptable at some level. The database could be larger. Some archaic words are valid and others not at all. 2) Some slang is acceptable but only because of popularity. 3) Proper names of countries peoples or persons are prohibited. But I find there is overlap with acceptable categories. It would be nice to have a settings page that turned on-off various dictionary levels and a way to tap an explanation icon - “contained in obscene word dictionary” or “slang dictionary disabled” or “medical term dictionary disabled” Still I like the game in its current state.

Would be 5 stars but. To the developers: you need to fire whoever does your ads. This a good game. Challenging and fun. But what really gets under my skin is when ads for this app come up and show that they give clues to unscramble the words and it changes with every word. That is not how the app works. You’re basically lying! It gives one word with NO clue and you have to unscramble the word. That’s the game. Stop making it something it’s not. Show people what the game really is since it is a god app. I don’t understand the need to make the ad something the App is nothing like. For that reason alone you lost 2 stars.

Its fun until the screen freezes. I was happy to find this word game. I enjoy playing and these types of games keep me sharp. The ads don’t even bother me all that much, but what I can not tolerate is having to restart my device every time the ads freeze up. This seems to be an ongoing issue, and its always the same ad. I used to deal with it, but it takes too much of my time and why should I have to pull my hair out for something that is not my problem? Life is too short. I don’t have the patience any more, so the game gets deleted and I move on.

Can’t mute the ads. This is actually a decent game. But recently the ads have been playing audio with no way to prevent it. My phone itself is muted (with the physical switch). I have the game settings set to NO AUDIO. And yet; when that moronic king from Royal Match pops up trying to find the loo, I hear it until I can tap the on screen mute button. It didn’t used to be like this. I attempted to contact customer service about it only to have their “contact us” form repeatedly tell me to “please make sure all fields are filled out properly”. There are 3 fields. Email address. Name. Message. They were all filled out and I couldn’t even send a message to customer service. So… sadly, I’ve deleted the app. Too bad. It was fun.

i’m at level 896... So that should tell you something already. I’ve been looking for a game that can hold my attention and give my mind something to do, most games now are terrible and when i want a simple game, word or solitaire games are what i usually go for. this has been the best word game i’ve found so far, simple to play but keeps me coming back. Would be cool if there were other events or game features but i’m still satisfied with the game overall. oh and it doesn’t an arm and a leg to play and make progress!

Mind Boggling!. I think I am on day 85! How many countries are there? I play this game morning and night during the week! And anytime during the weekend! It is very addicting. I introduced it to my nephew and his three kids! The 2 young boys came up to me a couple weeks ago at different times and thanked me for introducing them to it! Wait til they see how hard it gets! Now my sister, my sister in law and my brother in law play it! My sister said she hates me because she can’t stop playing it! Ha too funny! Week I love this word game! Good for the mind! The perfect medicine with no bad side effects. I love this word game! I will play it till I can’t anymore, as it is helping to keep my brain thinking, working my thought process, remembering words from the previous games and especially learning the definitions of new words found! Hopefully this challenging game as well as my “find the differences” games, will slow down the debilitating symptoms of Dementia/Alzheimer’s. Problem. I would rate this game much higher if it didn’t freeze on most ad pages. Not all, but most. I tried every few hours trying to load and play, without success on most tries and when I was able to play, it would be only a few times until the ads froze again. I finally deleted and reinstalled it. Even that did not work for long. I really like the game, but your charge of $7.99 per week is way too high, especially since other games charge as little as $2,99 to $5.99 as a ONE time fee.

Mind stretching game. This is a fun game which makes you think, good for all ages of those who can spell. While the rules are not always consistent, you can manage to overlook that. I find it quite addictive. Learned from my school age grandchildren, I am elderly and appreciate that I have to really think to find all the words to fill the blanks. Better than today’s TV! You can play anywhere, put it down and return easily to continue. Highly recommend!

I really enjoy this game. I really enjoy this game. The reason for the 3 stars is that I have to reinstall the app periodically because the words will be out of alphabetical order. Reason 2 is I was getting long puzzles and now I’m getting short ones. I feel like I don’t have a chance to get as many words as I can. Reason 3 is I wish I could opt out of the ranking tournament. I don’t really care how I compare to other players. Other than those 3 reasons, I find the game enjoyable and sometimes a bit challenging. This game has also really helped my spelling and I have even discovered a few words that I never knew.

The Aloof Lexicon. Why is it that these puzzles don’t include familiar answer words but do include obscure words that aren’t included in the current vernacular? Example: Not answers : cares, acres, races Answers: scree Come on, devs. Your answer words are inconsistent. -However- On a good note: I continually come back to this game for the mental stimulation and to learn both spelling, and new words obviously but the learning aspect is actually much richer still. Bottom line: I’m sure it’s my GoTo for many reasons. A good way to burn some time and still get in a little mental stimuli Peace be with you all.

Ads. Some of the ads cannot quit we you press the X. The ones with stories takes you out of the game so you have to start over. And the ones with the king are teaching kids that Doing torture us okay and that despite drowning in the previous one the king is alive again. And they are so stupid. How many times do I have to see something that dumb. I will never pick that game. It is not teaching good things to kids by chaining the king at the bottom of a pool and the kid can’t save him. Too much stress. I hate when I have to hit this botton and then wait and hit another one abd you try to hide them

Great Game. This is a great word jumble game. It doesn’t use a lot of obscure words but the jumbles do get harder as you progress. If you guess a word that isn’t on the “list” you get extra points which can be redeemed for coins. Ads are after every couple of games, but you can tap through them fairly quickly. You have the opportunity to watch 30 second ads to get coins to buy hints, so if you’re really stuck you can figure it out. The are LOTS of levels. Very satisfying game.

Good Job. First action after a night’s sleep is my meditation and then my puzzle; I always start first with the “BEE” and then on to the daily puzzle, sometimes finishing up a missing word from the day before and then on to the challenge of the day. You see, I know how to get my mind alert and I look forward to every morning and the new search for each correct answer. Thanks for providing the daily challenge that keeps this “old lady” on her toes.

Word Trip Review. I like this game very much. I have a illness calledBoarderline Itellecual Functioning. I’m 55 years old. I’ve recently lost my lucrative job of 17 years with the Department of Homeland Security (TSA). I really enjoyed my job. I made enough to care for my daughter and myself. Unfortunately,eventually. It became overwhelming for me. Playing this game keeps my mind strong and well oiled. I’m learning new and old words e dry day. It keeps. E busy so that my bouts of depression are far and few between. Thank you for developing this game.

Tricksters!. I enjoyed this tremendously until I participated in tournament on weekends! I was in first place after playing for sometime, keeping track of my position when all of a sudden I dropped to 4th place, with 3 new players who just appeared on the ranking out of nowhere with hundreds more points or gold! I caught up again and boom 2 players suddenly appeared once again, pushing me down to 3rd place! If there is going to be a tournament then you should be able keep track of those playing and not have players suddenly appear with lots more points! Waste of time to try and win~

One thing more. I’ve been home bound with serious CHF and I play games all day. Having played dozens of games, I have found this one to be the most challenging and the most rewarding one ever. Thank you for hours of brain-training entertainment. 4/11…why does it seem that some games score very low, I.e. 40 points per win, and other games are in the 100’s? And often when I am invited to the Treasure Hunt game, others have already scored a few thousand. By the way, I have tried some of your other games but they are all much too similar.

Too much ads. Ads are one thing, but this game has long ads. Too long. And even though l had sound and music off, l had to shut down the sound on each add. It’s almost impossible to get rid of the stupid game ad with the king. And with sound turned off, you get blasted with loud ads. They tell you they have no control over that. Really??? Don’t use ads that disrespect your players’ wishes. It’s about impossible to get any questions answered, and they have long lists of “help” categories, but any one you click on takes you to the same place. And games, people, organizations, etc. that assume everyone is on Facebook are disgusting as is facebook

Miss words on some levels. On some of the levels they are missing words. They have the ones you need to fill the puzzle and they have bonus words that aren’t worth as many points but you don’t loose your progress. All the words possible should fall into one of these two categories but they miss more than a few on some levels. When you miss a word your point progress starts at one again. Several levels are missing words that are fairly common … whoever programmed or fact checked the game missed several that are in the dictionary and word searches. Still a fun game to stretch the brain but could be better

Hard work rewarded????. I’ve been playing this game for some time now, and don’t expect it to get easier as the game progresses, but this game is getting ridiculous! I’m now solving words that only .34% of players solved! I feel that deserves more coins via spins or making videos more available to watch ( other than once an hour). I know this is a way for the game creators to get you to buy coins, but I refuse to spend any more just to be able to spell words that SHOULD be counted...and not be counted as bonuses! And no one should have to do the stuff you’re asking to “earn” coins either! Download this or that ......Step it up people-there’s too many other games out there and I can uninstall your game as quickly as I downloaded it!
