Draining battery. I just installed a few weeks ago, love the app, but it is draining my IPhone 12 battery if I don’t force close it after each use! Please fix.

New update messed up the climate controls. I can use the app to control anything but the ac or furnace. All it shows is the rear room and has temp sensor error but there isn’t a error with anything when I check the oanel

Works as delivered but system does not allow upgrades.. The good; the Mira firefly system works with the features and options as delivered with the coach. The bad; unable to upgrade or add to the system - if wanting to extend or any new features look elsewhere.

The update added new features but doesn’t work. I’ve used this app for about a year with no issues. Since it updated a month or so ago it added a feature to see my electricity readings but it doesn’t work. Plus now I can only check the temp of my coach it won’t let me adjust the temp or even turn on or off the AC. One complaint I’ve always had about the app, is if I use the app to turn on my awning lights they turn back off after about 10-15 mins. If I do it with the inside pad they stay on until I turn them off. If you fix these bugs I’ll give the app ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

No notifications?!?!. What app in today’s modern world doesn’t send you notifications? This app doesn’t alert you to anything. I have three gray tanks and one black tank all of them were full and the app never let me know. The interface is nice, but not getting notified when tanks are full is annoying.

Lost my second grey and black tanks!. My coach came equipped with the Mira system and I have loved it for the last year and a half. It makes emptying my tanks (four of them) much easier to be able to monitor from my dump station. Unfortunately, after the last update, I can no longer see my second black and second grey tank from the App. I can still see them in the master touchscreen in the coach.

Worth the wait.. The dealer I purchased my Motorhome didn’t offer the VegaTouch Mira and I had to purchase it after the purchase. I love this Bluetooth Modem and the App. Well done.

New version freezes. I’ve used this app for a couple of years and haven’t had any problems. The latest update freezes. After using it to adjust the lights, I then have to shutdown the app (swipe up) and restart the app to do anything else.

Great App. Purchased our Thor Hurricane34j last October. App has worked great since our purchase. I have not had any problems with the App connecting. All updates have worked flawlessly. The only problem I have with updates is not knowing what some abbreviations mean. Like the current update. What is Ble? Please fix the propane meter. Always shows full or disc. Please explain in the new features.

A few of the controls are right. Just purchased our Riverstone 39RKFB and the app is barely usable. Only half of light controls on accurate. Went to bring in the awnings and the slide outs started coming in. Shows the thermostat sensors not working but they are working fine on the master touch pad. Great idea just not there yet.

Love using the app, but battery use is a problem. Great app for quickly turning lights and water pump on and off, and checking tank levels (not always accurate, but that’s not an app issue.) The app drains the battery if you don’t completely quit it, hope it will be fixed soon (then I’d rate it five stars.) 2020 Coachmen Galleria.

Needs Work. Takes too long to connect every time you open app. Always displays in C then converts to F after some random time. I had Co-Op engineering students write better apps.

Bad update. As of recently I have had the app lock up continuously when trying to change screens. Used to work as should with minor bugs but now new bugs!!!!! Help!!

Bluetooth based. This App should be WiFi based, not Bluetooth, 15 minutes after starting the app, the cell phone is seriously HOT and your battery is drained. Just getting out of the app does not stop the data stream, you Must actually close the app completely on your phone after each use. The functionality is very good, but the usability is Terrible!

Works great but drains battery bad!. This app works quite well. It covers the air conditioners, furnace, lights and all that stuff. That part of the app is a 5. There is no way to turn this app off and it will drain your battery fast! However, there is a simple work around for this. We all know that on your iPhone, if you lift an app up from th bottom of the screen and let hover by itself, then flip it up and off the screen you will close and shut off the app. This is what you need to do every time you are done using the app.

Great App. Just bought a 2021 Thor Palazzo 33.5 and this App provides great functionality to work about everything in our Coach. I’m able to be outside or inside and work the slides, lights, awning, and AC/Heat. It’s worked great so far.

Rear control disappeared with update. Have had this app for 3 years with no problem. Now my phone app updated and deleted the section that controls all rear controls in Motorhome. Lights, Heat, fans, A/C. Contacted company and was told they have heard of no problems with the update. I can see multiple complaints on this site alone. Another problem is they need you to be in your Motorhome when they finally call you back since they are not available when I have called. I have attempted multiple times when using the Motorhome. I do not full time and keep the Motorhome at a storage garage. I hope they go back to a system that actually worked.

Unresponsive after last update. Since the last update, the app now requires you to force close out of it and relaunch it before the controls will work and it crashes all the time. Before the update it would work perfectly.

Still wont reconnect after put in background. Since I have had this app for over six months it has not worked smoothly without c,losing the app and reopening. It works the first time and after a certain amount of time in the background when you pull it up again it wont connect. Each upgrade to this app seems to break something else. With this version my chasis battery will not show any reading.

Battery Killer, Unable to update floor plan. This app is responsible for 46% of my battery usage while the 2nd highest app uses 6%. Also, I’m unable to update the floor plan in the app, when updating the config it just gets stuck at 100%. Because I’m unable to update the floor plan half of the features don’t work.

Perfection. Was upset that it wasnt offered when i purchased out 2018 Thor Challenger. Really need to contact the dealers to sell the remote Blurtooth modem when they sell the Rig. If it was in the Financing the $600 would have been easier to digest. Waited until 2019 to purchase it. It works as described no issues since I installed the Bluetooh Modem. Wish It could connect to my Router so I could remote into it but it is wht it is, Perfection.

Initially misidentified coach; still not quite right. I purchased the Mira device for my 2017 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40SP. For months it misidentified my coach as an Allegro Open Road 36LA, resulting in most of the controls not working correctly. Eventually that was resolved, though several of the controls still don’t work quite right.

Useful and Convenient. We bought our THOR Hurricane this past April and love this App. It works flawlessly.

iPhone battery drain. As others have said. This app works great but it drains my iPhone 12 Pro at an insane rate. If I forget to close the app by swiping up to close. My phone will die in the matter if an hour maybe 2 at most. Very unsatisfactory for a higher end system in my Riverstone. This need to be addressed because it’s not a random issue with just a few users.

Poor quality app. Have had this app for about 2 years now and it’s never functioned fully correct. The worst is the climate control features. It fails to know the sensor temps, fails to control most of the heating and cooling devices correctly, and none of the updates have made it any better. We have a 2021 Dynamax Isata 5 30FW Xplorer with the firefly touch controller in the RV. The one thing that seems to work okay from the mobile app is the light control. I can control the generator, slide, and stabilizers, but there’s little reason to do that with decent controls in the RV for those things. I would find climate control to be useful in the mobile app, but it’s severely lacking.

Not great. It’s clunky and full of bugs, but the most annoying part is the fact that if you don’t close it from running in the background every time it will drain the life from your battery so quickly which in turn wears on your battery over time.

App drains you iPhone battery. This app will drain your iPhone battery because it has background activity that never stops. Even when the app is closed. It also is very buggy and the user interface is horrible.

Drains battery when away from coach. Silly app drains my battery when I am out of range of the Bluetooth connection. This is pretty basic stuff when building iOS apps. Please fix this bug!!

Doesn’t stay connected beyond 5 feet. I have had this motorhome for a year and have never been able to keep it connected unless I was within 5 feet from the firefly tablet on the wall. What is the point if I have to keep going inside to turn on lights or open awning etc.

Always crashing!. When we first got the MH and set it up there were a few issues with connecting to the app. After that was fix from an update the App is always freezing up and crashing. Please fix or address these issues!

Issue Fixed. Thank you for working to fix the issue with the menu, it is now showing up on my iPhone 11 and we have all the functionality we need to operate our RV remotely! Appreciate it!!

Last update messed things up. Can you please review the last update, it won’t let me adjust the temperature like before and I have not even checked if other things got messed up, thanks

Top battery draining app on my iPhone 12.. I use this app maybe (MAYBE) a total of 10 minutes each day (open, set a temp or turn on a light, etc.) and use other apps (email, phone, iMessage) WAY more. Yet this is the #1 user of my battery, draining a brand new iPhone 12 Pro in one day almost all by itself. It seems that with each update of this app there is always something that breaks something that worked prior…little to no quality control. Update: This app EATS BATTERY…still no update that fixes it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Irritating that there is no Background Refresh setting to disable for this app. Update 2: Took my iPhone to Apple…they say my battery health is down more than typical for the amount of time I actually use the device. This app is still the top background battery user. How hard can this be to fix?

Please help with incorrect readings!. We’ve used this app for about 1 1/2yrs without any problems. Just about a month or two ago I lost one of our gray tank icons, and the propane levels don’t read. I have tried restarting, deleting and reinstalling, re-pairing with the touch screen in the coach, and nothing has helped. I emailed their “Help Desk” and someone did reply back which was reassuring. I hope they can somehow resolve this issue. Up until now it’s worked great!

Pasting from safari and heavy battery usage.. iOS 14 is notifying me of a clipboard paste from safari when opening the app. Any explanation for this? Also, the app is heavy on battery use on my device. 7 minutes on screen use...15 hours background in the last 24 hours?! Polish it up! I love the app and panel but this is ridiculous.

Can’t connect and support is poor. A week ago we bought a brand new Motorhome. I downloaded the app and the panel will not connect with my iPhone. Called and left a message for support they called back hours later while I was At a restaurant so I couldn’t answer. I then Downloaded the app numerous times again still won’t connect. I have called 4 additional times and still unable to speak with anyone from support. I am disabled And having to get up to go to the control panel every time is difficult. Poor poor support and very disappointing in this day and age!

Won’t stay in Fahrenheit.. The app works great but constantly switches back to Celsius. Myself and others have reported the problem but it doesn’t get fixed. It should be a simple quick fix. The bug makes setting temp a real pain.

Could be good but has issues. Phone battery drains so quickly that you must swipe up and completely close it or your phone dies in a few hours. Also the latest update also broke the pairing of the phone and coach which is now intermittent every few seconds. You can only issue commands in about a 3 second window and then wait another 3 seconds while you cant. Totally broken for use like opening slides.

New upgrade software. Please advise fix. I’ve deleted old app tried installing/pairing with no success. Recent update has cause a bug to not detect all features of system software which has deleted the grey 1, & grey 2 tanks. Now it only shows grey tank. Up to know we’ve been blessed with a great app that pairs identical to our system.

I love this app but our floor icon is now gone. We have been using this app flawlessly for the last 3 years and about a week ago we somehow lost our ability to see the floor settings. I did find out I can hit the screen up at the bottom of the screen, go into help section, go into the floor section and then x out and my floor settings are there. But there is no way to find it on the screens without doing it this way! Can I please get it back? Other than that I love being outside by the fire and turning on the aqua hot to get shower water ready or turning off or on inside lights while we are outside. It’s great not having to get up to see what the gen settings are on instead of getting out of bed to a panel. Hopefully I get my floor icon back soon.

Works for me. Been using this app for over a year now… I have had a couple of challenges, always able to resolve them though… mostly user error or setting something wrong… Had one issue with my grey tank sensors going bad..called Firefly and got new ones sent to me… replaced under warranty.. bam that issue resolved. Had another issue with my center AC not showing correctly… called Firefly and after doing a quick firmware update.. bam .. it was fixed… It work great for what it is… and I fully suggest that you use it… Now.. if I could only get it to work with my Alexa app… :-)

The new update. Not working like it should, now I can’t view the living and bedroom on one screen. Have to go back and forth to the other screen. There’s a glitch working better before the new update. Why can’t you control anything unless you are in the coach only?

Lost features. I did love this app, but this update you loose the ability to control slides and awnings as well as you can’t move from one setting back to the main screen, you have to close the app and re-open it. Please fix!!!!

Draining battery when app is in background (not in use). This is a great app, does everything the keypad does however, if I don’t close the app after use (swipe app up to close) it is draining my phone battery. In fact it is the biggest user of the battery and will drain battery to zero so be careful using it. I have a screenshot documenting this usage. Work on fixing this and you will have perfection. Why would it drain a phone battery when it’s in the background?

Handy. My Apple phone is a bit slow but finally got this app set up. Actually works great!

Mediocre at best. Developers do not care or are basically incompetent. This app will drain your battery fast if it remains in the background and you don’t kill it manually. This has been mentioned in countless reviews and support tickets for months and nothing gets done. Shame in Thor Motorhomes for using this below average app for their control system.

App connect is terrible. Upgraded IPhone and the APP will now no longer connect. Deleted APP several times and still will not connect, The app forces you to change PIN but after about 15 seconds to enter twice a six digit pin it moves to next screen. Give longer to enter pin and add an enter button. Poor customer service on Firefly part.

Password. When we got our new Seneca, the dealership told me about this app. I downloaded it and it worked great! Our RV is in storage for the winter, but in nice days We went to stock it up, and I’ve always just opened the app and could put the slides in and out, turn lights off and on etc... but this past weekend I went to open the app and it wanted me to scan and then put in my password. I don’t normally use a 6 digit password, and didn’t realize that I was going to need it again so I don’t remember it. Then, there’s no place to reset a password. Still waiting for a call back from the tech department. I had to squeeze inside the unit to put the slides out from the control panel. Update: Awesome Customer Service! Received a phone call this morning from Nate, he was very pleasant to talk to, he asked me if I was at my coach, I told him that I wasn’t and he said okay, it’s an easy fix. He told me what to do to find my password, then said it again, he asked me what coach we have so he could add it to our record and that’s it. We were done. Less than one minute! Thank you again, Nate!

Drains phone battery!!!. The app is useful, but it drains the battery more than any other app on my phone. I can go to sleep with a full battery and wake up with a dead phone. Checking my battery status and my screen was on for 3 hours 42 min. This app was used for 1 min and the background activity is logged at 3 hours 58 min. This app consumed 46% of the battery.

Holding tanks. With this new update I have no longer access to my too black tanks and to my too gray tanks on my 2020 Jayco Seneca 37 K

Inconsistent Function. With the latest update the app is in a constant state of switching layouts and which features are functioning. It’s like it doesn’t know what layout to use for the settings. Often the tank levels on the app do not match the tank levels on the coach screen.

Buttons missing. Missing furnace button on the app for the kitchen.

Please fix! Runs the iPhone battery down in 2 hrs. This app when running overheats my iPhone and iPad causing the battery to drain ina few hours - why can’t you fix this ?????

It won’t sync. After updating to iOS 15 the app will not sync. Many many tries, no success! Very frustrating!!

Mira. I used it for a year and then I tried to load it on my wife’s iPhone and now I lost it and can’t figure out how to get it back!!!!😭

Terrible. Can’t give it a zero so I gave it a one. I live in the US and use Fahrenheit. This App will never stay on F but constantly switches to Celsius. Sometimes I have to switch it 5 or 6 times in a minute or two.

As Donald Trump would say, “You’re fired!”. Folks.....who wants an app that every time you wanna go back to the main screen of the app, that you have to completely close the app and start over. Seriously.

Not stable. Worked fine for a couple of days. Now it will not log back in and continues to really drain my battery. What a waste!!!

Stopped working blank screen. Suddenly I just have a blank screen on my phone. Worthless. Updated the app and still no good.

AquaHot Diesel. The ability to turn on my AquaHot diesel burner was lost with latest app update. I have a Discovery Coach with FireWire controls. Do not update app to 2.14.13

Awful eng management. Management and development team as a whole is awful and inexperienced building high quality software. Had to decompile their android app to build my own around their firefly ble code. God, what a disgusting code base tho.

Latest version is awesome!. The latest version released on 4/12/22 has had major negative consequences on our 2019 Thor Outlaw 38MB. Specifically, the awnings will only go in or out about 12” per press and hold and the app will not turn any of the fans on or off. That’s what I’ve found so far. All of these functions work fine from the touchscreen and the wall switch controls.

App drains iphone 11 battery. As stated in other reviews. The only way to stop the drain is to delete the app and reinstall when you want to use it. Terrible!

Very “buggy “ could be great with a little tlc from developer. This could be awsome - hope they work on fixing for tiffin coaches !

Kills battery life. This thing kills my battery on my phone even after I close the app out.

Latest update is broken - no SOC% showing.. When it works, this app is a convenient way to get status and control basic functionality of our 2023 Jayco Terrain. Unfortunately the latest app update is broken in that it no longer reports house battery information (Firefly gui and logic V12.20). Others on the Jayco forum are reporting the same. I wish I did not have auto-updates turned on!

Mega iPhone battery drain!!!. Drained my iPhone 10 battery in 24 hours. Recharged phone and drained it again in 24 hours. Deleted the app.

Will not work after last update. Has been an excellent App but no longer works after your last update with my IPhone 6 Plus phone. Very disappointing!!!

Cooling snow icon missing. With latest update, the snow icon indicating compressor cooling is missing

App is Garbage. App is garbage. Doesnt work. Doesnt communicate. And Tech Support is worthless.

Version Update Disaster. I purchased my RV in Sep 2022, installed the Vegatouch Mira App and successfully installed and have been using it to monitor and control my RV without a single problem. Then today, the App was updated to version 2.16.1 and now I have nothing but temperature sensors errors on my Iphone and cannot control from my iPhone at all. So now I must walk to the control panel to see readings and to control the HVAC temperatures and fans. What?! Really, really piss poor. I have already done the typical uninstall, reinstall, restart scenario and it is definitely the APP. I don’t think I’ve been more unhappy with an App; especially given how essential this one is. And to top it all off, I can’t even assign a “star” rating to this review because the field is not enabled. Way to go.

Useless app. I can’t even get this app to open anymore, just a white screen. I’ve tried deleting the app and reloading it, but I get the same results. This app is completely useless to me!

Lame. Why can’t they make this easy to connect! All the hoops you have to jump thru is awful. I’m now gonna find somewhere safe to sit down , and punch myself in the face!

No longer working. 1 year ago the app worked great. I deleted it for the off season and now reinstalled and can not get it to connect. Is there new firmware for my Motorhome spider, maybe?

This App is terrible. This app will not connect, scan does nothing. Even at $.99, it is a waste of money. Should have read reviews first.

2.14.1 is broken. Will only work on initial load. Go to another app and return and it is frozen. Have to manually close and restart. Repeat every time you try to use the app. How do we roll back to the older version that worked?

Getting used to it. I enjoy and appreciate the app when it’s working. We’ve had a number of issues with the app not looking right on the iPhone or limiting the info available. Sometimes a reboot gets it going. Lately nothing from the App Store worked but when I used the scan code on the unit it booted and works fine now. I appreciate the quick response time from product support during business hours. I wish the app had a feature to stay on rather than having to resume each time I want it.

Last update 1/21/20 Display Trouble. On main panel (iPhone) the tank heater option briefly shows and disappears not to return. UPDATE 1/27/2020: Developer responded with a phone number and to call. Spoke with a knowledgeable and friendly tech and together we walked through steps to rectify what turned out to be was an incomplete download of the upgrade. Very pleased.

Vegatouch Mira. I opened this App today, and the version is not sufficient to monitor my whole coach. Especially, I do not see any information of fresh water tank, grey tank and black tank. This information was very helpful in old version.

Bugs in latest version. Downloaded new version. Now both living room and bedroom temperature sensors show an error.

2022 Thor Windspot 29m. App is a complete waste of time. Interior light master on/off is a guessing game to what lights or ceiling fans might come on or turn off.

So far, it works. I contacted VegaTouch.com for their mobile user manual and found everything fairly easy to set up. My only complaint is with app closure which should be a homepage function.

Ok but features are missing.. Recently purchased 2022 entegra launch it has 12.20 firefly firmware and it doesn’t show any details for the batteries besides house 12.2v and chassis 12.4. I’ve seen other peoples with older versions of this app that have detailed Renogy battery information such as load, SOC, house battery voltage (48v) etc. app is very useful but it drains phone battery and updates keep getting pushed that don’t fix the problem.

Update, gauges not displaying with new update. The last update or two I lost all of my gauge readings, including fresh water, gray water, black tank, LP. Attention developer, how do I get these back? 2022 review; 4 stars, For the most part, it’s been very solid We use this with our coachman beyond, and it seems to work with most items, including lights, the generator , Awning and the AC.The one issue that is not consistent is the tank levels, which, unfortunately are truly important. So all in all most things are working, except for the tanks.

Fix background refresh. This app is using 76% of my battery in the background. Please fix.
