Times take forever to be updated. This is a great app, but a week after a meet and times have still not updated on the app. Shouldn’t take this long.

Hardly Works When A Swim-meet is going on. The concept behind this App is great and fresh minded. Kudos on the ideology and positive perspective of its content. Unfortunately, I toggle during meets between Meet Mobile and this app while watching a meet and this App always shuts down on me. When I use it when Meets are over it works better. Makes me think they don’t have enough Markers on the hardware when at high capacity and they are in need of getting gear that can handle the load. If they charge for an App, they to make sure the product is functional. Maybe they can spend some of this money and update or increase capacities. Only a one star. I can get stats off my swim teams website. Update. Still junk! Tried removing it and reloading it. Only once in six weeks I was lucky enough to see updated info. All other attempts trying to see information was a waste of my time opening it. No data would populate. I wasted my money on this. Canceling it.

Don’t count on it. As the parent of a competitive swimmer, this gives her a concise look at her goals. That said, it’s broken. About 5% of the time it loads my daughters data. The rest of the time it’s just a spinner, or the app straight up crashes. I check it at least once a day, with high hopes, and I’m almost always let down. What’s the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Great App, Great Service. I’ve loved the Swimmetry app for the last few years. It’s got all the data I could possibly need for my swimmer including current times and cuts, USA swimming motivational times, meet standards, etc. Progression data is graphed, you can create a favorites list, and compare swimmers. It’s great for knowing where your swimmer is, and setting next step goals. Beyond that, I was having an issue with the app and reached out through the feedback link. I never expected a response but John emailed back and forth with me several times, and had an update submitted to the App Store in less than 24 hours- in time for upcoming Age Group Champs this weekend. Amazing customer service to go along with an already amazing app!

Missing information. I wanted to love this app and I did for a while, however now my sons events do not update. So his information is not correct. I tried doing it manually as well but it would stay for a few days and disappear again. Very frustrating.

Frustration. This used to be such a good app, but now it only opens 1/5 times. Updated it today and 1/2 the time it does open it uses sectional and national cuts as my swimmer’s times (which are regional or state level). It has been 3 weeks since the last meet but these times have still not updated. Swimmetry used to be my go-to but if it doesn’t improve will have to cancel. I’ve had it for years. My phone is less than 2 years old so that shouldn’t be the issue. Please improve Swimmetry!

No support.. The app has now tech or customer support available. Emails go unanswered. The app is buggy and will not update swimmer information such as birthdays and time standards. The swimmer search function doesn’t work very well either.

Great App but…. I love the app, allows me to stop using the spreadsheet that I built to help me automatically track the standards. However, the lack of Dynamic Type requires me to drop the font on my iPhone to the smaller sizes just so I can read them. Even the middle settings are too big for this app’s display. Please add this to your backlog.

Signs me out. So I love this app it’s very helpful it’s just that it signs me out. And when I try to get back in I can’t. It won’t let me click the i have an account button.

Great design, terrible execution. This has the potential to be a great app. The layout and content (sometimes) is wonderful. But it forever to load the data, if it loads at all. Searches are hit or miss (mostly miss - never completing and just getting a “status” wheel). And logging in is cumbersome. Please fix these issues. As is, this app will die. With a few minor improvement to major functionality issues, this app will be great!

Great when it works. This app is so helpful…When it works. Sadly, this is a rare occurrence. I’ve been through multiple emails with them and they are very prompt in responding, which is great. Unfortunately the resolution is slow and never holds. I check the app maybe 3 times a week and I’d say 75% of the time it either leaves me spinning or just straight up crashes when I try to login. Usually I’ll be in the middle of looking at things and it’s going great and then all of a sudden it winds up spinning and kicking me out mid use. Infuriating. If it would just hold it would be great.

Not working. Really tired of this ap never working or updating. I tried deleting it to redownload and now I’m stuck waiting for it to load to reset my password

Great when it works, but really glitchy. Sometimes when I click on something it kicks me out of the app. Sometimes it doesn’t update information. My kids were swimming last weekend and the app didn’t show live results for them but did for others. I like the app, but don’t love it. Would like it more if it worked the way they want it to.

Not working. Saw a recommendation for this app but it won’t let me create an account to use it. Click on free trial and nothing happens. Keyboard also covers up spaces where I need to type & buttons are off screen, can’t scroll to use them, meaning it’s not formatted for smaller phones.

Great app when it works. Loved this app from the start! Until Covid hit, and at that point I haven’t had any luck with customer service. The app seems to be working at about 50% and rankings are completely spinning. It’s a shame, but I will probably let it go if it isn’t corrected.

Used to love but now it’s so buggy. I have had to delete the app several times and recreate my swimmers only for it to still not work all the time. Some of the swims cross over and then others don’t. No rhyme or reason for why it doesn’t work. Loved the ease of the app when it works.

Buggy now and no response from dev. Initially I loved this app and accepted that there would be bugs in the beginning, but I think they’ve added too many features and it’s become difficult to maintain.

Data missing. When looking at an athlete, the times are not reflecting recent meet results that are officially registered and showing in the "meet" data.

Too many bugs for the money. This could be a much better app. Unfortunately, it’s plagued with bugs: 1. Crashes when loading an upcoming TeamUnify meet 2. Crashes when selecting fastest time under an athlete’s report 3. Will not consolidate more than two duplicate athlete entries 4. Reported times from a recent meet can be seen under the athlete’s meet entry but not on their profile If the bugs are not addressed, we will cancel our subscription. It’s just really poor quality.

Highly Recommend!. I love this app! Everything you need to track your swimmer is all in one place…I really like the at-a-glance ability to see your swimmer’s best time and how that compares to the next time standard.

Used to be great. This app used to be great but now that the SWIMS database is used, the app doesn’t pull meets correctly and times aren’t current. Super frustrating.

Great tool for swimming. I have been thoroughly impressed with Swimmetry. The app’s sleek design makes it easy to navigate, even for those who may not be tech savvy, like myself. I appreciate the ability to quickly see how close my child is to their next standard, which has kept my child excited about their swimming. The feature to compare to other swimmers is also pretty neat. Overall, I would highly recommend Swimmetry to any parent who has a child that loves to swim. This app has been a great tool for helping my child become a better swimmer!

I’d like to live this app. This app logs me out all the team. It won’t remember my password, so when I have to log in, I have to type everything back in. It doesn’t push notifications for favorite athletes when events are complete. I have other swim apps that are free that do this. It also takes forever to load. It also doesn’t always load the times for completed events to the swimmers’ profiles. It has potential, but it just isn’t there.

Best app for swimming. I absolutely love Swimmetry! 🏊‍♀️ The app is very user friendly and provides comprehensive analysis of my swimming performance. The ability to track my progress over time and see my next cuts has been extremely helpful in keeping me motivated and on track with my goals. Overall, Swimmetry is an essential tool for swimmers of all levels, from beginners to elite athletes, who are serious about swimming and looking to take their performance to the next level. I would highly recommend Swimmetry to anyone looking to achieve their goals in the pool.

Nice app but frustrating. This app is nice when it works. Recently it logs us out and won’t let us log back in. It just closes whe we try to log in. Needs some updates

Love the App!. So easy to set up and use. The graphics are great. I love the ability to customize the photos of my favorite swimmers and track their progress.

Great potential. I really want to like this app, have had it a year. When it works, it is great. Love the data cuts and comparison tools. That said the app is glitchy, often does not load swimmer and active meet data without refreshing it multiple times. Data is available on our other swim app but sometimes the same data takes days/weeks to show up in Swimetry. We will try it again when/if they get it working smoothly. But for year round competitive swimmers, who can be at meets twice a month, it doesn’t consistently keep up.

Great app when time standards are accurate. App is by far a very user friendly application. However it’s main purpose should be to maintain accurate information. The 2023 national standards iS open cut for example have been out of date for a long time (months). I have notified them multiple times to no confirmed time when these will be updated. Many of us use this app for that very purpose to see what the next time cut is and if we can’t trust the app is correct then what’s the point.

Loading…. I really want to like this app, but it’s just not working. I spend most of the time on screens saying loading. Maybe I’ll try it again at a future date.

Needs update. This is a great app, but needs an update to be able to sync with the new SWIMS 3.0 database. My swimmer’s times and data all disappeared from the Swimmetry app. Please update ASAP.

I love Swimmetry!. As a parent of a competitive swimmer, I cannot recommend Swimmetry enough! I can see detailed breakdowns of my child’s swim strokes and she can identify areas where she needs to improve. The app’s user friendly interface makes it easy to use, and the comprehensive analysis provided has given us insight into my child’s swimming performance that we never had before. The ability to set goals and track progress towards them has also been extremely helpful in keeping my child focused and motivated. It’s going down the hill…. It used to be a great app, it barely works now. It’s so annoying, logs you out for no reason, it doesn’t upload info and takes forever to show results.

Would be great if it worked. This app has the potential to be really helpful to a swim parent. However, getting logged in after it kicks out the user (every new meet) is nearly impossible. The newest “think” is that it won’t take you to a login screen. It takes me to a ‘new user’ screen and won’t let me scroll to the bottom of the page so I could tap on ‘log in’ or ‘existing user’, etc. When it works (which is rare), it’s great. But good luck.

Simply the best!. This app is genius! It eliminates the need for any other swim app. I love that I can track a meet live, view my daughters’ best times and their progress to goals all in one place. Well done 10k Lakes!

Keeps Crashing. I would rate 0 starts if it was possible. This app keeps crashing. I have to delete, redownload and edit everything every time this happens. Currently the app continues to crash after I have reloaded it AGAIN for the third time today.

Always crashes. This app is great when it works which is almost never. I’ve had to delete and reinstall several times and it still fails. Not worth the money. Look for something else.

A must have app for swim enthusiasts. Always up to date and easy to use. Great for meets where you need many different time standards at your fingertips. Great customer service. I noticed an issue with certain swimmer’s times not coming through and emailed customer service. Communication was quick and friendly. The problem was fixed. An update was uploaded within 48 hours. I don’t normally pay for apps, but this app was worth every penny. Thank you for the great work.

Abandoned and full of bugs. Every click in the app is an experiment to see how it can crash a different way. Reporting bugs go into the ether and the only way to make the app work reliably is to delete all data and start again every month.

Great app!. I’m a competitive swimmer and it works great for keeping track of my goals, and is easy to use.

not updating times. My daughter’s times are not updated on this app and haven’t been for two swim meets. However, her times are on USA swimming’s site along with swim ranking. Also, the app is great normally but it would be nice if it would age up the swimmers with regard to ranking.

Broken. The app has been broken, won’t update and now when trying to login it crashes …

Unreliable. You can count on this app to let you down during important meets. I paid for this app for myself and my swimmer daughter. The last day of a regional meet it logged both of us out and will not let us back in. Developers, there are a ton of similar reviews. Do something about it.

A must-have for swim families!. I can’t say enough good things about Swimmetry. If you’re an iOS user and love hitting the pool, this app is an absolute essential. Checking best times against different standards, setting goals, and tracking progress is a breeze. The team behind Swimmetry is responsive and genuinely cares about user feedback. It’s evident they’re committed to making this app even better.

App doesn’t work. After futzing with the app for over an hour restarting my phone logging out and back in patiently waiting .. I have to concur this app is not usable with my updated iPhone. Bummer!

Great app, awesome customer support. I used to log all of my daughters times in Excel. And then manually chart them so we could track against goals. No more, this app makes that obsolete. Easy to track current times vs next time milestones. I can even compare our two girls times against each other at the same age, very cool. I had an issue with this working on my old iPhone6 with older software. John got back to my message almost immediately and implemented a fix over the weekend. Wow, doesn't get faster than that. Very much recommend this app!

Useless. After the latest update yesterday, this app is now useless, the main page keeps loading forever so you know it’s hanging. Switching to the “upcoming event” tab, and click any meet event, the app exits immediately so you know it’s crashed. Tried many times yesterday and today, no luck. My kid is swimming in a meet these days, and I couldn’t see any his times of any event. This app is now a trash.

Doesn’t work. It hardly works. When you try to log in, it kicks you out of the app completely. If you are lucky enough to finally get in, it logs you out after a while and you have to go through it all over again. We were told it was USA Swimming doing an update and we needed to reinstall the app to fix it. I’ve done that and haven’t been able to log in since. It’s sad because it does have cool features.

I wanted to love this app. The theory is great. Graphed progress, scraped times, time standards, etc. The reality is this app only updates some meets and ignores others. Not reliable. The whole point is to have a one stop shop to see everything you need to track your swimmer’s progress. This thing takes way too much work and even then sometimes the times just won’t load.

However, unlike other apps it literally kicks you out every day, meaning you have to log in with your username and password. This is a five star app if that bug can be fixed. Particularly since it’s a paid for app.
