No customer service and was charged during free trial. Impossible to reach anyone for support so my only option is to leave a bad review. I wanted to try this app to see if I would like it. The basic plan hardly allows someone to do anything productive when you are actively trading and watching various coins at the same time. So I read I could upgrade to Pro for free for 30 days. The next day I was Charged about $180. I still have 3 weeks left of a free trial to see if this app can do allI need it to do on a daily basis and am in a FREE trial. I was duped into paying when it said I wouldn't be charged unless I did not cancel at the end of the free trial I have been trying for 2 days to reach someone. I opened a ticket as suggested by their automated email and phone message but it was never answered. I contacted PayPal and they denied my refund within an hour or so because they stated they contacted the merchant who said i didn't cancel my subscription before being charged??? That doesn't even make sense. I'm on my first week of a 30 day free trial so why would I cancel when I still have 3 weeks to try it out?? I love how Paypal gets a response within an hour but I try for 2 days and NOTHING.

Rare review. I don’t often write reviews, but when I do, I am at my wits end. So, I spent a very unproductive 3 hours attempting to explore this application. They do have a robust community of talented technical analysts, so I will give them that. The main reason that I downloaded the app was to check out the charting features. After about oh... 5 minutes, strange things started to happen. My indicators had disappeared, and despite my great efforts, I could not get them to return. But it gets worse: There is no way to close the chart, or reset the chart, or erase the chart. Once it gets buggy, you are cursed forever and ever until the end of time. I finally uninstalled the app, rebooted, reinstalled, and it was still broken. The support section is worthless, and the company makes it very clear with bold red letters that they are TOO BUSY to tend to support tickets. By the end of my time with the app, I couldn’t get ANY indicators to display. Okay, if the developers come back and say “ohhh that’s because it’s just a trial”, my response would be “a message stating why the charts start glitching, and the indicators stop working would be rather helpful” ...and if that is the case, that is the *shortest* trial that I have ever seen. Game over - I’ll be checking out the competition.

New widget design is a downgrade. Update: they ignored my feedback. I stayed on old version since they never improved the poorly designed new widget. Now they won’t allow the old version to view News anymore. Lame The latest update ruins the widget design Edit2: I don’t like how the price, change, and symbols have been squished together on one side. Old design has price and change cleanly shown along the right side and symbol + time on left side. That’s a clean design. The new widget design looks messy: asymmetrical and less legible, all contents mashed together on one side. Edit: Dev asked for more info. I’m not talking about the new widget options, the design on all the widget views has changed and I think it’s much worse than the previous widget design. The only way to get it back is to literally downgrade the app which fortunately I can do because I’m jailbroken, but that means I’ll have to stay on an old version (2.49)

Request: Saved Indicator Templates. Really great app, enjoy using, however, I’ve been asking for quite sometime now if you could implement saved “Indicator Templates” to the Mobile app just as you have it on the website, because it would make it extremely easier to simply click on saved templates & all my indicators and settings will automatically be applied to my chart, rather than having to goto indicators & manually install each individual indicator while also having to apply custom settings... This becomes very time consuming, would highly appreciate if you would consider this in the next update, Thank You!

Wish I could trade also. I’m a big fan of Trading View, have a subscription, and use it daily for trading on my desktop, sometimes on my iPad browser too. I feel like this standalone app would be more useful if I could trade from it, otherwise it’s just a toy for watching stocks. No offense, it works very nicely and all. I opted for the desktop version of your app and like using that a bit more than through Chrome or other browser, as it gives me a little cleaner screen space and a dedicated sign on for trading. Would be pleasant if the iPad version did the same. I will say however that this app was what tipped me off to trading view in the first place and I used it to familiarize myself with the platform before using it to trade on my desktop browser. So as an educational primer or sales tool it did work for me.

Great Start. Love TV! Great iOS app, clean interface to put all the important tools right at your fingertips. Only major request to make this a “5 Star” app is adding the “Edit Gear” button next to the indicator title (by the “X” button to close the indicator, just like on the web app). Sometimes double-tapping an indicator doesn’t work properly, this would make things fool proof. Other wishlist items: photo button saves photo to album (instead of just copy link), alternatively gives the option to automatically open link in Safari to manually save the photo. Minimize the lower bar - tons of screen space wasted for 5 buttons (maybe just make those 5 buttons a drop down option like the tools/timeframe/etc). Add split-screen, maybe iPad-only? And finally, Pine editor please!!!

Honestly great app except it’s optimized for iPads and not iPhones now. I would give five stars if it were easier to access certain functions like disabling drawings quickly and easily. It used to be better on the old app. In order to “hide drawings” which I use often when changing timeframe it requires a click two swipes and two more clicks. Used to be two clicks Realistically should be one. This would likely be slightly less annoying if using an ipad (which I have but have no interest trading on). Instead of my phone (which I always have on me) iPhone 12 Max. Wish you could add a shortcut key or instead of adding a favorite drawing tool (which I would never use on my phone) maybe a favorite button.

Huh? Totally useless for real trading. I can’t even figure out how to get the alert log to show me today’s alerts instead of last year’s. (And, yes, changing the sort order doesn’t help. As far as the app is concerned there has been no alerts since last summer.) Not sure what all those people who gave it 5* are using it for. Unusable for keeping track of what I need to buy or sell today. I wish I had thought to test this before I left my house without my laptop. I need to know what alerts went off today! I guess all I can do is pray that none of my stocks with against me before I’m back in front of my laptop at market open tomorrow morning. UPDATE: days later and I still can’t figure out how to get this app to show me the log of any alerts later than 3 months ago. Frustrating and a useless waste of my time, not possible to trade without being able to review today’s alerts. What a joke. 15 minutes to the close of session and instead of getting my trades in, I’m sitting here wasting time leaving an angry review.

Updated: Pro Member - Love the charts hate the captcha.. Remove the captcha for a 5 star review! I can no longer access indicators on the IOS app because I can’t bypass the ridiculous captcha. I paid for a pro membership. Why is a captcha needed to access the description of every indicator? Waste of time and money as I can no longer work efficiently using this app. Update: Tradeview quickly contacted me with instructions to submit additional info via the help center. Interestingly enough as I was taking screenshots of the problem to submit with the ticket, I clicked into the function option and attempted to view the description and the captcha that has been annoying me for weeks was gone. Hopefully forever! Thank you, Tradeview for your quick response. As promised I’ve updated my review to 5 stars.

Please fix alert system & watchlist creation feature on mobile and. I enjoy using the charting system but please fix the issue of setting alerts on rays and line while using mobile. On iOS the app will bug out and only half the screen will show after you enter in a description for your alert. If you try and go back and put a second alert (such as with an entry alert and a stop signal) then the app will most likely freeze and close out upon even opening up the edit alert on the second ray. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS! Also, an add on feature to add tickers to a watchlist straight from the chart feature or add (plus sign option) would help users create watchlists on the go. This would be much appreciated. A drop down check off menu, similar to what is offered on the desktop version is what comes to mind. Other than that I enjoy using the app but please fix the alerting system on mobile and consider a more seamless watchlist creation function.

James B Customer Service Bad Experience. The customer service is horrible. I was using this app for 1 year religiously as a Premium member. I was offered a promotional offer by James B, and since I did not respond right away, I was not granted the refund I asked for right away, nor was I granted the promotional offer. Customer Service definitely needs to be trained better. I feel like they are inconsistent, and I will not be recommending my friends and family this company no more. I was considering this company for Black Friday, but I’m not sure I want to take that risk to deal with the customer service. Trading View Account Name: Abatix. Update:Developer responded to send an email to their “Support email.” last time I wrote to the support email, it wants me to open a “ticket.” As their support email is nothing more than an email they don’t respond to. This in turn will make me be forced to deal with James B again. Not helpful!

Great App. I’m truly impressed that TradingView has been able to successfully port the web version of their platform to mobile. It’s already a very complex platform as is, and it works so well on Windows or OSX. To see it perform nearly identically on my iPhone is pretty incredible. I cannot imagine the effort from developers that went in to making this work right. Turn your phone sideways and it’s almost just as powerful as the web version. Also the alerts you can set on the web version are pushed to the app, meaning notifications on your phone when prices or indicators change. It’s honestly made me a lot of money trading. The lower tier paid packages are worth it in my opinion. The free tier is just as powerful but with only a few limitations. I just wish there were some testing features for the alerts so I can verify they are set up right, and that I could have it send me a text or even a robo phone call when my alerts are triggered. That may already exist though, and I may have missed that feature. I learn new features all the time.

Nice and clean, but could be way better. It needs a way to add symbols to a specific watchlist from the chart tab. It’s a huge pain to switch to the watchlist tab, find the watchlist you want to add it to, scroll up, click the + sign, add the ticker, then switch back to the watchlist you were cycling through, and scroll down to where you left off. There is so much room along the top bar of the chart tab to include an “add to watchlist” button. It also needs to display your tags and allow you to tag/untag stocks. Moving a stock ticker up in a watchlist is super annoying. You have to scroll all the way to the top, tap edit watchlist, scroll all the way back down to find your stock, drag it up, then scroll back down to where you left off. Just lots of scrolling... hard to do analysis efficiently which leads me to use my laptop even though I’d rather use my iPad.

So close!. Great app! I’ve been hoping to make my transition to having my full Trading workflow fully on the iPad. TradingView has almost nailed it. Some of the things I’d like to see is the features available on desktop also available on my iPad. I have the iPad Pro 12.9 so I have plenty of screen real estate and TradingVIew should take advantage of that. The multi tab UI is a must as well as being able to have the fully chart on the left while having utilities like alerts/watchlist/alert logs on the right. The current UI for switching between symbols on my watchlist so that I can create weekly alerts is extremely cumbersome and slows me down. As an iOS developer for over 10 years I can appreciate the challenges of building for multiple platforms and multiple screen sizes. If we can have the desktop app on the iPad then that will significantly increase my mobility because I will only need my iPad for all TA and for my weekly trading plans. I feel the desktop app has already solved all my UI/UX concerns, now it’s just a matter of porting that to iPad. Great work otherwise!

Good but could be better. I am trying this because Morningstar had taken away the key ratios page that I relied on and replaced it with crap. This has a lot of good things but a lot of simple things seem to be missing. For goodness sake how about a screen for stocks hitting a new high? New low? If it is there somewhere I can’t find it. There seem to be an awful lot of pointless stuff to appeals to the “wallstreetbets” crowd, and social interaction rather than actually choosing investments on a rational framework. I was in several free trials and this one is mostly easily understood. The vertical scaling changes every time I touch my screen and logarithmic scale seems to be absent or obscure to set up. That right there is an indication of lack of seriousness. Logarithmic should be the default setting and if you don’t know that they should protect the newbies from their ignorance. Time will tell.

Best Charting Software Out. Tradingview has simplified analyzing charts incredibly. the layout is great, features are perfect, and you can find any stock, currency, index and get all the data (w/ upgrade i think, which is worth it.) What ticks me off is when my charts don’t auto save like they’re supposed to, and my mark-ups get deleted. i’ve checked my settings many times and it’s always on auto save every minute, but sometimes i’ll open up the app and the markups are gone. not a huge deal, but when it happens to multiple charts at a time, it’s a little setback to redraw It would be perfect if that would stop happening! thankyou anyway for the great app

Definitely Worth It..... One of the best charting apps and sites on the web... Especially for the cost... If you’re on the fence, give it a shot... and make SURE that you dig deep into all the features they offer.. The cost is MINIMAL compared to sites/apps like eSignal, etc... and it does pretty muchly everything you need to trade with technical analysis IMHO... I use TOS and TradingView to do my scans, and then most of my charting and trade plans are done through TradingView before I trigger them (to another broker).... the mobile app is great to use while on the go, to create and view alerts, etc... Again.. the cost is MINIMAL compared to other services/apps/sites.. its definitely worth a trial run and paying for a month to test it out.. Just make sure you give it your time and use it until you check out everything it offers.. I didn’t use it enough when I started trading, and could have saved a fortune testing out other services if I would have just dug deeper into TradingView.. The site and the app simply marry beautifully... Good luck everyone.. Trading is DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart..

Love it!. This actually is a five star rating. I gave it four stars only because of personal preference considering the lack of one particular feature I would love to see and could really separate this from other charting apps. I would suggest have a long and short position tool that was compatible with option trading. Other than that, I think this app gives you everything you need and more to achieve your trading abilities. It’s very user friendly, and has a ton of features that are a click away and easy to adjust, control, and modify. I have recommended this app to many and had great feedback from some as well, but have also suggested a compatible option trading tool.

3 syllables for the Devs. Love the platform. Been Pro+ for about 2 yrs finally transitioning to being consistently profitable and I have 3 syllables for you : Footprint Charts! Seriously guys the past few years I’ve noticed you beautifully expanded the chart types and even added choosable custom timeframes which is amazing. I love tradingview, I love the the brilliant selfless script writers and the TV community in general that’s why I’m saying I can’t express enough how helpful Delta Footprint charts are. Being able to see the trade movement inside the candles changed everything for me i.e. accurately selecting my futures contracts to trade based on a clear view of the worth of the candles and each of their segments to confirm if I could even get filled trading it with my account size and leverage. That’s one of many ways it can be used and I believe it would be very helpful to the TV community and a great addition to the outstanding platform. That said, to any traders reading this, for the time being search Volume Profile Volume Delta OI Delta [Kioseff Trading] The most brilliant minds in the TV community often release their scripts for free like this one. Best Delta FootPrint indicator for TV. Look into it. It will help. Trust me. Regards - Let’s win together

Complicated, but great if you know what you are doing. Just like the website the app is basically an open-source trading tool. It has a ton of features, but you have to pay to unlock most of them. It offers a 31-day free trial of any level, so if you are interested might as well get the highest one for the trial and see what features you don’t use, then choose the plan fits your needs. DEVS: I rated this 4 stars because while it does have a lot of information, to some people maybe too much, but that aside I find that when using the Full-Featured Charts on mobile there is too much sensitivity on the screen presses and the whole zoom feature, how each part of the chart can be adjusted separately, it is useful but easy to get lost in and there should be a reset button. Also, just because I rated it 4 stars doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve 5. Maybe I am just not that used to using it yet.

needs some extra support for the ipad to be perfect. excellent application BUT it’s lack to a key features, first it needs to add support for the mouse ( scroll to zoom in the chart), especially many people now using the iPad's with stage manager connected to an external monitor. second, the availability to choose to zoom out more and show more content (more chart) while using the stage manager mode will be fantastic to take advantage of the external monitor size. third, navigating through the watchlist and object tree while in the chart window is little bit challenging, it could be better, while i’m in the chart window i would like to see all the saved item of the watchlist and object tree directly maybe in a side window can be shown or hidden just like the tradingview on the full website. at least this changes should be in the ipad application to make use of the bigger screen. thanks…

Separate default chart for Mobile and desktop. Trading view is the best charting apps, however there are a few places in the mobile version that can be enhanced to be more user friendly. 1) separate mobile charts from desktop charts. Currently, when I view a chart on mobile, it modified the first ticker of my last active multi-chart layout on desktop. So next time I login to my desktop, it show the ticker that I last viewed on mobile. I want the desktop ticker to stick. 2) remember last chart layout on mobile. On mobile, I can change chart layout to multi chart layout (eg. 2-chart layout). But after I close and reopen the app, It reverts to 1 chart layout. User would expect it to use the last used layout. I think the main reason the chart is messed up on mobile is because it is linked to the last active desktop chart. An easy solution is to allow user to select a default layout for mobile. For example, user can define 10 layouts on desktop. Then on mobile, user can choose one of the 10 layouts as default for mobile. When viewing different ticker on mobile, the only thing change should be the ticker, not the layout. The time frames and indicators should stay intact.

iOS 15 bug, BOR Safari end problem!. It’s been three full weeks since iOS 15 was officially out and the app has this loading issue ever since. When you you guy plan to solve the issue? I’m paying the premium member every month and this app is literally not usable since last month… I may file a refund claim since I’m paying for a defect product which I can’t rven use………Just to update. I was lucky enough to get the reply from the company, but they said it’s the problem from the Safari end…. We’ll, this app on Safari works fine. It’s the phone end, that’s not loading the charts… it’s been more than two full weeks and we can’t see the charts at all, then what’s the point of using a stock app if it can’t load stocks… Like a lot of people have discussed, when are you guys going to fix the bug on the compatibility issue with iOS 15? Can’t even open the chart now… I’ll still give you guys 3 starts since this is the app that I had been used the most even though it’s not usable now…

Used to be great. This app used to be amazing. Mobile AND app versions. Now, they keep adding features that I can’t imagine anybody would use. Why add an extra “preview page” before seeing the full feature charts? Waste of time. Other users I know who use the app feel the same way. But this is nitpicking. My real issue with this app is it keeps bugging out and it will randomly revert back to an old ticker I was previously looking at. I’ve noticed it reverts back to the last saved ticker because sometimes it’ll happen on the same ticker I’m looking at, but reverts to the time frame it was saved in. But the revert thing happens so frequently that I can barely get anything done in a single chart. Extremely frustrating. Don’t know what the developers are doing, but this is becoming an app I hate to use.

This is ridiculous. I was automatically billed For $60 after my first free month ended and I was cool with it but I was paying way to much so I cancelled my subscription for $60 a month and went to the basic, my account even says basic and I took all my payment information off because I wasn’t using it. After canceling my subscription a week later I decided to use it and I went to replay mode and I couldn’t use that feature because of course that’s for paid members and I was okay with that, so WHY did I just get charged $60 again when I don’t even have the subscription and my payment info is not on there? I’m so furious right now because I have bills to pay for. And Everytime I try to contact Trading view, there’s no number nor email. Which is in called for. I need a refund. I don’t even know how did I get billed without even being subscribed. AND WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR CUSTOMERS SERVICE??? Like why would you as a company make people pay for there problems to get solved ???

Great App but becoming less mobile friendly with the new feature role outs. I have been using this app as a subscribed user for over 3 years. It has been a great experience and really loved the app. But lately some of the new features are not user friendly. For example, the most recent “quick preview on the watchlist” feature makes the whole user experience horrible and terrible when navigating from chart to chart. It is so horrible that it actually made me search for other similar service providers. The whole purpose of the Mobile app is to navigate between charts seamlessly. For some reason, they are moving away from this by trying to pack way too many things into the mobile app. Suggestion to TradingView: Less is more. And in case if you keep adding such features, at least give the subscribers the ability to customize. Thank you.

Nice and sleek app that can be improved even further. This charting app is fast and sleek, what truly is powerful that it mimics pretty much all chart functions of a main web application, including chart markup and annotations, zooming in and out with a pinch (an indispensable feature for any Mac/iPhone user) and multiple watch lists. There are some areas of improvement that can make it even more usable: 1) Reliable and fast sync between multiple instances: for example, if annotation is added in the mobile app, often it won’t show up in the web version (even with refresh) and vice versa. 2) Flipping through charts within the watch list: at the time of this review the app requires user to go back to the watchlist and select next ticker. In the web version navigation is much easier and more intuitive (with up/down arrows). 3) Among other minor improvements to consider: * Make iOS app more consistent with web version by adding features like Flagged watch list * Add support for multiple flags (by color) - use case is basically as a user you’d want to flag tickers based on some different criteria: bullish, bearish, etc.

Great Charting App/Tool. These charts are great compared to some of the other charts/charting tools I’ve tried. Depending on your subscription level, you can add several indicators to a chart. You can add alerts to these indicators, such as a trend line. This works great and nearly the same whether you’re on a your PC or mobile phone. It saves your chart markups whether you make them on your PC or in the mobile app. For example, you can research charts while waiting to pick your kids up from school then go home and see the chart changes at home on your PC. The beauty of cloud based charting!! The negative with this product is the subscription price and different tiers. Depending on your plan, you can only set “X” number of alerts. Of course, I find myself needing more alerts but can’t afford to pay for the upgrade to the next tier. With all that said, this is a GREAT tool and the best charting tool I’ve seen so far.

This is only for the mobile/tablet apps.. TLDR; Homepage the web version. You will end up doing that if you use TV for more than just checking quotes. In regards to the charts themselves, there is no competition. TV has the best charts hands down. However, they way the organized this app makes me scratch my head a bit. As others have mentioned, the web version of TV is far superior. The organization and ease of access to things like the DOM and a full featured news calendar are missing here. The DOM is hard to get at and has no grouping. There is no news calendar on the mobile apps at all. The mobile apps are great for a quick view, but attempting to do any real technical work on here is pretty restrictive. The drawing tools are also not easy to access. At least they have kept the favorites bar, so that is nice. I almost never use the iOS app unless I click the icon accidentally (which I immediately regret since I now have to close it) instead of the browser version I have homepaged as a standalone app. Also, while I have you here... what is with the TV app on the bottom left of the chart? There is no way anyone who has seen a TV chart will not know it's a TV chart... Also, I clicked the TV app icon on my iPad or typed your URL into my browser, guess what I know I'm using TradingView, trust me we know. I keep the app in hopes that one day I accidentally click the icon and it actually is the web version.

4.5 stars. Alert Management improvement gets to 5 stars!. I use the desktop application daily, but think the mobile app functions very well for reviewing on the go. That said, I find the “Alert Management” section of the mobile app cumbersome to locate (you have to click on a ticker in your watchlist, then click on three small dots, then scroll down to the titled section, and only then can you finally arrive at your destination.) It’s challenging to navigate to alerts in a hurry, which is unfortunate since often times alerts can be time sensitive. I would love to see an icon on the main dashboard that leads to Alert Management. Or at the very least have it listed up top after clicking on “Menu” at the bottom right of the dashboard. Other than that, I think the app is excellent.

The new update it’s full of glitches. When I delete lines and add new lines on chart. They automatically come back and new lines don’t show up after I close the app aka turn it back on. Edit: Thank you, it worked :) Trading view is the best app for charts!!! Another request I have is. Would it be possible for some sort of toggle to edit the percentage and price change. As I just want to see the percentage change not the price change aswell. It’s just more cleaner look. Would it be possible for next update for app there could be possibly an option to toggle both price change and percentage so customer has option to keep both on or one what ever suits their needs? That would be awesome. Thank you

Stocks at your fingertips. Love the look and feel, it’s really straight forward to use and as technical as it can get it’s still somehow really simple and straightforward. An app built with their users in mind. Also everything done on the app also gets updated to their desktop version which is amazing!!! Constructive criticism - I would really love to see the app have the same features as it desktop counterpart. Takes time and patience, which I am totally willing to wait for :) - the new Logo, not really a fan of… perfered the older one over this. Comes off too ‘edgy’ and feeling like distant from the rest of the design. Keep it simple.

Lacking basics. The ability to use the magnetic or ruler function with the pen would make the app immensely productive. Add it to the tap function of the pen please. Also needs a friendlier UI, the desktop app is tenfold better. I can’t even make a folder for my annotations on the charts using the iOS app. The basics seems to be overlooked. I was really looking forward to using this app with my iPad but it seems like 3 steps backwards from the desktop version. Response- I think the ability to tap the pen to take off magnet mode would be great. Have you tried to anchor a trendline at 1 point and then extend it to the future with no price? Its a nightmare on the app version. On the desktop just let go of ctrl. Or the desktop shift function of making lines straight, could easily be integrated to the pen taps function. Also make use of a tablets screen, why have my instruments all stuck in this little rectangle to the bottom left? If you improve in any one of these departments this app would be 10x better

GOAT APP !! Pinky promise!!. Try the free trial, and you’ll see it’s 100% Worth the upgrade. I’ve been trading a couple years and wanted to increase volume and prediction accuracy, and this delivers!! Really solid and help me stick to my plan, with so many indicators like ZScore and ichimoku alerts!! Just what I needed. I made about $2k ROI in under 24 hours of having the app with the crypto trading charts. They have every crypto pair imaginable with their smart and instant quotes populate from all the major exchanges. So f’ing cool. Great job Trading view!! I can see how much time I’m going to save now too, probably hours each day, as I now have tools to enhance my intuition. I’ll probably be going with the premium pro plan ultimately (middle tier with 20 indicators per chart) but I made that much money in one day with the basic pro free trial. Unbelievable. This is def a real review. BOOM 🤯💣💥🔥

Ouch! This app hurts like crazy!. Love the website. So I figured I needed this app on the road also. After about a half-hour fiddling with this thing, I am beyond shocked. It just couldn’t be the same guys who put together a phenomenal website. This seems more like an after thought. A box-checking exercise. Like, “They said we need an app, so, here you go”. First of, it lacks the intuition of the website. For me it’s get in, punch in the stock ticker, get the background info I need, and out. 30 seconds flat. With this app, I can’t figure out where the search bar is. And there seems to be an overemphasis on all the wrong things. For example, an overemphasis on technical charts. They are important of course, but so also are the financials, company profile, and that awesome sell/buy “odometer”, which are nowhere in sight! To the team working on this, I hope you get back to your true form. This isn’t it though. For everyone else, stick with the website for now.

Needs Improvements to Match Desktop. TradingView is the best charting tool available but this app needs updates to match the capability of the web and desktop apps, particularly on iPad. There are some basic things that are curiously missing from the web version such as the ability to view news articles by ticker and technicals in the information view. The ability to trade from the app is still missing outside of paper trading and there is no order book data. The stock screener is completely missing as well. On iPad, it would be nice to be able to view the watchlist alongside the chart view just like the web. The lack of split view is particularly frustrating because for active trading I constantly need to switch between TradingView and my brokerage. Switching between tickers is clunky. Support for multiple tabs or windows would also bring the app closer to parity with the desktop and alleviate this issue. Finally, I think support for Apple Pencil could greatly enhance charting.

Do not like update - time change hassle. I do not like this most recent update at all. I constantly flip between 1min-5min-15min time frames. Before we could just scroll to the time frame and that was it. Now you have to click on the time frame then look for the time frame you want in a list and then click on it again. Whoever is on SEO/Marketing should know better. 1 scroll is a million times better than 2 clicks. If there was a long list to scroll through, fine. There’s not. 😡 I change timeframes probably a 100 times a day. That’s 200 clicks 🤔, verses 100 quick taps to scroll. Ans please don’t say there’s a Favorites Interval Picker. It’s still two clicks. This is ridiculous and whoever did this should be minus a job. Also, now I’m having a problem where if I zoom in, the screen is much more sensitive and it will pull another graph up and overlay it on-top of the one I was trying to zoom in on.

I’m blue. The new updates are kinda weird and seemingly arbitrary. Not a fan of having to click a symbol and then click view chart. Charting is the primary use of this platform and to have it secondary to a less detailed line chart with a simple layman’s overview is sorta “noob friendly” and kind of insulting. The new logo seems to be a disappointment as well. The previous logo made logical sense and captured the idea and essence of what to expect when you open such an app. The new logo looks like it could be any kind of app like fashion, gaming, chatting, etc., and it has nothing distinguishing about it. Also not a fan of whatever teenager made the notes for the update. No need to be cute and sing-songy, it’s just a trading app. It seems like a lot of companies these days are trying to be ironically cringe or come off as “hip” with their advertising and public relations, but it comes off as unironically cringe and panders to a younger generation in a way that seems disingenuous and inauthentic. You don’t have to try so hard to fit in or make people like you, just be what you are; a charting app. I still use this app and enjoy it, but I don’t need the hyper conformity and fakeness. It makes tradingview less special and more basic.

Revised. I don’t know why there is an app when the web version is clearly superior. The app is way too simple and cluttered with the need to perform multiple taps to do simple things … etc etc I can’t even go through it all as I’m pretty fed up with TV not giving users their most requested features… New edit: I’m still not sure as to the use of the app compared to the web version, (just use safari but it didn’t deserve one star. It’s a regular old 3 star product. If you go by the Reddit page you’ll find no shortage of suggestions on new features. My issues for the app version are these: Landscape view in full screen is corny… It hides your tools and the top left is obscured by the rounded corner design of the iphone… Also if not in full screen but using landscape, there’s just blank white space on the ends There should be better method for drawing straight lines The buttons for choosing your drawing tools are so large and you constantly have to scroll through them. Additionally, one should be able to customize their order I’d prefer chart settings to take me to actual chart settings instead of the last sub chart setting I was in. In full screen view vertical you have access to draw Not in landscape… please fix. I would like to see a “recents” watchlist of the last 10-20 tickers… Going through diff watchlists when you’re only looking through 2 stocks in each gets tiring and making a new watchlist just seems inefficient.

Charts don’t get any better. I’ve had a paid subscription for the last two months and I love it. There are two improvements that I can think of that would make this a five star review. First of all provide pre-market charts for all stocks. Currently, there are many stocks that have pre-market volume that TradingView does not provide a chart of. It’s a little frustrating to not know what’s happening with the stock premarket until after it opens. Honestly I’m not sure if there’s a threshold that a stock needs to hit before pre-market data is provided. My second improvement would be to be able to tell what an indicator does regardless of what it is called by the creator of it. Many times you can get an indicator and then forget exactly what is being quantified unless you look up the exact name of the indicator again and get a full explanation this seems a little cumbersome when you really just want to know what that indicator is doing. I guess I’m a bit spoiled from the abundance of indicators available and perhaps I should be happy with what I’ve got. Lol. Enough said I am enjoying my subscription and hope to see these improvements in the future. Thanks TradingView!

Great tool but difficult to use. Spent a hour trying to make a chart and provide relevant information only to lose everything i worked on when the app wouldn’t let me post…. Why cant i post?? because my language wasnt set…. Seems like a glitch bc i was able to post before and after with no issues… please make this app a bit more easier to use. I dont like spending hours making a chart to get rep points only to lose everything after the apps issues…. Also why do you need rep points just to join a chat?…. Seems like the chats and the app is also full of scamming so whats the point??? i dont know why it kept asking me to change language when i only speak and write in English .. i lost my best work i made and I couldn’t even save it… still will use this app but hope it gets better before something else comes out

Please fix the iPadOS 15 bugs. The app is great on OSX and good for iOS, but it has a pretty bad experience on iPad. The iPad version is pretty much the phone version except riddled with bugs, when it should be more featured like the OSX version. I keep my iPad with me as I go around the house, and using the native iPad app is a frustrating experience. The most frustrating bugs show up when you use a physical keyboard. For example, if you press the command key, suddenly all of the positions will enter edit mode without an option to exit that mode; the only way to fix it is by killing the app and booting it up again. The command key is a navigation key in the iPadOS interface and it should never be overridden, please at least fix that bug and I will bump the rating.

Not worth the exorbitant cost. I did the promotion join at a discount at first then they tried to charge my papal $600 for this incomplete program that has no options or futures trading. I don’t think so, you can’t do option or futures on trading view and they want to charge you $600 a year for WHAT? I used TradingViews paper money to help some friends get use to navigating a trading platform. But without options & futures this program is just a toy. And a very expensive toy at $600 for a premium yearly subscription. After their attempt at taking $600 from my PayPal I’ve canceled my subscription. I don’t like people who do sneaky payments that aren’t authorized. Check your payment setup to make sure they can’t automatically charge you more that you originally agreed on. Value for money I gave it a 1 star for what they what to charge!

This is extraordinary!. The ungratefulness of some users disliking this app is self-entitled and quite disappointing to say the least. I mean not only is the app offered for FREE, it's also AD FREE! The developer has probably invested tens of thousands of dollars to fine tune it to the near perfection it is today. I've been trading for 11 years and have downloaded and tried tons of apps. Tradingview is by far the greatest. I ended up saving a huge space on my phone by uninstalling 3 different applications (one for commodity and oil prices, another for forex and currencies are and the third for technical analysis). Tradingview beats the three of them combined. I'm grateful to whoever designed this and offered it FREE to the community. Thank you!!

Awesome Times 1000!. When I was beginning to learn Forex, I didn’t want to jump onto to something new which means I had to learn something new on top of all the stuff I was learning about Forex. My brain was overwhelmed! But when I got onto this wonderful site, I was able to apply all that I had learned about Forex onto my charts! At that moment I was like how crazy was I to be hesitant to add this to my Forex journey! TradingView is the best thing that I have come across in my life to aid in my financial journey from broke to financially stable! Don’t be hesitant like I was. You’re able to apply all indicators needed to help you forecast the market. This is truly a way to win! Thanks to the creators of TradingView to help guide me on my way to becoming a consistently profitable trader!

Alright tradingview you guys really prove to me you guys are the best in the charting industry. I had a previous 1 star review because of the update and listed what was wrong and you guys actually took the time and listened and went as far as sending that information to the developers and you guys actually fixed the exact problems I stated. You guys deserve the 5 star. I still loved you guys before even when i gave the 1 star (that was only because of that specific update) but now I probably just have to marry you guys. I would go as far as wearing a tradingview t-shirt to promote your business if you ever want to send me one (haha). Thanks for listening to your customers. Much love, much charting. I’ll have to upgrade my account from pro to premium now after this.

Great Overall App But You’re Missing..... Great overall app. Amazing amounts of data and the port from pc to phone is pretty astonishing as well. Especially how reactive and effective it is. But sometimes I am not around my PC and i would love to be able to effectively backtest. And I can not because when you begin to backtest you lose the option for object tree and to undo incase you make a mistake, It was much easier to do so before this update. Can you guys get rid of the backtest and chart settings / object tree out of the same spot. It ruins just a little bit of the experience. And I am also a premium member so not being able to effevtively use my membership that I paid for is an irritant. Thanks for the great service but please fix this for effeciency and effectiveness sake.

Great app (except the current version). Have been a paying subscriber to TradingView for years. It has been the best and easiest way to pull up my favorite charts with preferred settings, indicators, and drawing tools SYNCED across all desktop, tablet, and phone screens. However, The latest update looses connection often. Widgets that used to take a few seconds to sync now won’t sync unless I screw around with the app first. The app itself freezes a few times daily, and needs to be restarted to update quotes. It’s not reliable for me at this point, and I am researching alternatives. This is too buggy for a paid service. (iPhone 12 pro, IOS 15.1.1, TV 2.36.1 build 659) Edit: Thanks for the quick response, and it’s great to know that the team is doing everything possible to deal with Apple’s iOS changes. TradingView is still the best option for me, and I gladly renewed my subscription at Black Friday prices. Hopefully, the issues will be resolved soon. Thanks again for a great overall product!

User Friendly. I have tried several charting services including TC2000. I trade weekly stock and ETF options. For me TradingView charts have a simpler way for me to do all the technical things I do everyday. Their stock price alerts the fastest I’ve experienced. They are also the easiest to set and I like that they show up as an orange dotted line on my chart. For me their charts are the most pleasing visually. I use a faint green background and my candlesticks have black wicks, the green and red candle bodies are outlined with a fine black line. This and many other choices are in the settings. I was able to save all my preferences to a template. Now I can this to any new chart with a click of my template. Their charts are rich with all the features I have a need for.

Ok, but in the end not as good as using web browser. I’ve been using trading view for a few years now and I was pretty excited to see an iPad app. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough thought put into the design of this to make it a replacement for the web browser version. 1. The list of instruments on a separate tab is so painful... you have to toggle back and forth and its really disruptive to your flow. Also no ability to sort your watchlist by name, %gain/loss, or anything else? That’s not good. 2. There is no total % gain/loss on the chart... it shows it at the top but its relative to the timeframe you have, which is crazy. Show me the % gain loss for the day like you do on the browser version... that’s a no brainer 3. No favorites on your drawing tools. That means I have to click three times to get a trend line... that’s again a terrible design choice 4. Timeframe selector across the top of the screen, making it as hard as possible to reach it with your fingers and again requiring multiple clicks to get what you want. Here’s how that should work. Near the bottom left of the screen I should be able to press and hold to show me all my timeframes, then slide and release to select the one I want. All in all, almost isn’t good enough here. TradingView needs to spend more time thinking about use cases and design ergonomics.

Desktop watchlist features to iPad and iPhone app. Hi, for more seamless workflow on the go it would be great if you could update the watchlist capability on iPad and iPhone apps to include the colour flags and also the ability to view all items flagged in a colour, for example orange or red, just like you can on the desktop app. Thanks.

Pretty good. A good app but one thing I think would be awesome to have is Flags. I flag all the coins that I’m watching on my computer but then when I check my phone I can’t see them at all so it makes it quite hard to track. I realise I could just make a watch list but it’s a bit of a pain to edit it on the app

Ridiculous update. What were you thinking, open one chart to open another chart and have to reconfigure each time, you idiots have ruined it.

A great batch of improvements for 2020. Many of the usability issues have been resolved in 2020 which is fantastic. The watchlist incrementing tool is a great step forward! Remaining usability issues: The horizontal scrolling toolbar at the bottom of the screen is good for space-saving, but reduces efficiency as there is a lot of scrolling left & right to perform common functions. I know it’s a stretch but it would be great to be able to nominate key menu items from within the toolbar & sub menus to access quickly from the top level (ie allow the user to customise the toolbar to their needs). I’d like 4-5 common drawing tools, watchlist flagging, snapshot tool, load chart all at the top level and other less commonly accessed items (ideas, alerts, replay, add/compare, add indicator, etc) tucked away under a different menu. Key theme here is customisation to my unique needs not having to navigate a 3rd party’s generic navigation construct that has to cater for everyone.

Are You A Trader?. If you’re a Trader its a given you need charts, Tradingview is the best there is. It’s not cheap but if you plan on making money Trading, you should make that money back and/or write the expense off. I spend at least $1000AU per year on Tradingview and The Rational Investor membership and trading signals. I’m covered every way possible with the best Charting System, the best trading community and best trading signals.

The best trading tools. I’ve been using TradingView forever, along the way other sites have approached me and I’ve tried them… BUT THEY DON’T COMPARE! TradingView is the best, it’s got everything you need and they’re constantly improving the site with tools that make my trading easier and more accurate- making me more money!!!! ❤️ Lisa N Edwards

Useful, but lags behind website in functionality. App displays charts faithfully, and the draw/indicator functionality is there as well as Idea Stream etc. Unlike the website, you can’t manage object trees, you can’t delete all objects from a given chart (so if you have drawn hundreds of lines you have to delete them one by one, what a pain!) and there is *ZERO* trade functionality. You can’t make trades on the iOS app based on the chart. The lack of Pine Editor is a minor issue. There are other gripes that are not specific to iOS. The MACD indicator in TradingView is broken and does not reflect the same calculations that are done by other MACD indicators (Hence why so many have written their own MACD indicators for TradingView) and there are known bugs that wipe charts clean if you have multiple copies open which is problematic if you trade multiple time frames. TradingView, take note. I have paid for a Pro subscription and I won’t upgrade to a higher tier unless you fix these major issues.

Urgent!!!!! Issues with moving lines on chart. Hello, I am having issues moving lines on chart. It only just started this morning, was working fine for me yesterday. I have tried to update both the app and iOS but still the same. Can someone please fix this as a matter of urgency. I can’t be paying for an app and be experiencing such difficulty.

Best Charts Apps. I have been using this app for years and then when I recently updated it one of the features had changed such as the addition of the symbol screen when selecting a chart from my watchlist. I didn’t like this feature and did not realise that I could toggle it off. I left a bad review and one of the developers reached out and informed me how to do this. Thank you for the great customer support.

Near perfect, if only.... The app is in my dock on my ipad, and my iphone. I use it multiple times a day, and it’s absolutely great. Carries over the drawings and markups to the website practically instantly.. The only niggle I have, is that I can’t connect my broker(s) to the iOS app version (only the website) to place trades via the app (I have to switch to the website view to do that). Yes, it’s a first world problem in the complete sense, but hey, I can still have a nice-to-have list!

Good App. I like the App a lot. Its been very stable and reliable. Only one issue. The latest release adds a quickview of each chart on the mobile. This is very annoying as its not useful to me. Its feels like a spam popup as it wastes time getting to the real chart.

Great APP. Great free application with any easy and intuitive interface. The free version has plenty of features to please beginner investors and provide an insight into the market. I use it exclusively for cryptocurrency charting and have found it really helpful by creating and monitoring my watch list of favourites. There are also heaps of optional overlays, drawing tools news and menu options to explore without needing a subscription. I am just a beginner investor and if my portfolio expands significantly then I will consider one of the premium subscription options. Highly recommended and you have nothing to lose by trying this application.

Great but not a fan of new update please go back. Just updated app and you changed everything, why? Worked perfectly befor and found it way more user friendly. Anyway if it doesn’t get changed back, at the very least please put a remove/delete button in the little icon that pops up when clicking on drawings/ fibs. My whinging here is done, bye.

Fantastic app. Fantastic app, the functionality of the charts matches the desktop version really well. One suggested improvement... Add a place to review screener alerts (eg under watch lists), so can see any triggers that have been previously set-up in the desktop version that have been hit. Great work.

Best of the best. One of my favourite. Actually not one , only one which is my favourite is trading view. I wish this review will look by finance team and give me 1 year subscription free. Thank you trading view team. U made all your users life easier. Also highly recommend for any new users in this platform.

Please give iPad users the option to switch preview off. Every time I go back from a chart to my watchlist and choose another coin to look at it goes back to the useless line chart. Seriously, who uses line charts? It’s really frustrating. Last time I brought this up I got a reply from the team (which was nice) telling me how to switch preview off on an iPhone. I appreciate the effort to communicate, but I use my iPad to view charts not my iphone.

Trading View doesn’t work on iPad os 12.5.5 version, why not???. My iPad can only update to version 12.5.5 and the latest TV version requires iPad iOS version 14. Why???? Why not to allow older versions to still use the app? Then apple store asks if I want to download the last compatible version but it does not let pass this same message going into a loop until you cancel and go to the shop to buy a new iPad. This is not gonna happen so please I would like to ask the developers to consider a version compatible with older versions of operational systems of all devices. Thank you for your attention. On a last note, please fix and I’ll come back here to write a five stars review and delete this one. 100%. Apart of that, I do love Trading View, great platform, truly great!!!

Sensational Platform for serious traders!. I cannot imagine not having this premium groundbreaking platform as an essential part of my trading process. The charts, scanner, ideas and forum sections offer an invaluable edge in your trading arsenal.

Great improvements. Love the new improvements. I hated having to rotate to portrait just to change the time frame. The app looks much smoother now too. Only one more thing required to make it a 5 Star for me, and that’s an ability to drag from one point to another to see the percentage or time difference... like the website version Great app though. Highly recommend.

Good features but realistically expected better considering fees. The open source nature of trading view coupled with available native features undeniably makes trading view a very useful platform but the constant bugs, terrible customer support and lack of focus on amending these issues is quickly prompting me to look for an alternative. I’m having my lines I’ve placed on charts move their physical coordinates when I change timeframe prompting some unfavourable miss-informed decisions which are entirely tradingviews fault also the desktop app constantly freezes and on Mac minimises itself and changes desktop randomly. This is a useful app but if you require a platform that you can really put your faith in to be accurate and reliable I’d advise you look elsewhere as TradingView simply cannot be trusted long term. If these issues where amended I’d very quickly consider upgrading to a premium subscription but as it stands I’m angry with myself for spending any money at all on this platform.

New update is not good. The new update is dreadful. I want to be able to see a proper chart when I select it from my favorites but instead all I see now is a chart that’s hard to get any details from. It’s just a blue line that’s ‘cool’ looking but totally functionless. No doubt it was conceived by a graphic designer desk not an engineer. Please go back to the way it was or let me set a default action so I see the proper chart please.

Opening a chart now relegated to a tiny tile off to the side. Opening charts is the main activity I do. Now it’s that much harder. Use to be a large tile my fingers could easily access not its a tiny little tile off to the side of the screen. -1 star for that. Best bar none charting software for traders, but I’m an investor and don’t need all the bells and whistles. I look at the charts once a month, see if I have a signal on the technicals (really basic stuff) however most my DD is done elsewhere (fundamentals) and corroborated here on TV. I use to play with charts a lot and really enjoyed using TV but the ads are for me as an investor are driving me elsewhere as I don’t need 99% of the stuff. I wish there was an affordable option just to remove them but keep the basic package as I do love a beautiful chart. Anyway $300+ annual sub though standard is not practical for me when that could go to something me and my accountant would appreciate. -1 star

Brilliant app. Such a great mobile companion to the desktop version, allowing you to keep an eye on things while on the go. It’s def not a alternative/replacement of the desktop version.

Amazing app. This app is neat and developed well. Great experience using it. One suggestion, switching to other charts is still a slower process as having to go through the shortlisted. Would be great to have a function to switch different charts. Thanks

One star from paying Pro account user. Ive been with tradingview for over 4 years. I run 4 monitors on 2 PCs and the screens kept logging me out. I message tradingview to see how this can be resolved. I just get an automated message saying I’m abusing the system and violating the policy and saying it’s only for personal use only. Yes I am only using it for personal use and I’ve been paying for your pro account. What is wrong with you? Obviously you don’t value your customers. Get a real system in place so your customers can login with their IP address so you don’t accuse anyone of abusing your system.

Not Great Anymore. The standard being offered is well below what is now available on numerous platforms. Shall Trading View not make some significant changes here they will end up being the Nokia of this market. Fees are also high compared to the other asker options. Don’t get me wrong I like it, but use other platforms from day to day now.

Stay away. Since the update the charts constantly freeze up requiring the app to be fully closed, once lines are drawn on the charts they are near impossible to move again. Terrible considering I am paying for pro. Stay away from this horrible app until they fix it. It’s been buggy for weeks now.

Problems with Bar replay (back test). Bar replay doesn’t work over multiple time frames. Bar replay was changed so it erroneously calculates the profit. When I buy and stock price increase, it is recorded as a loss (I.e negative). I tried to use the website to raise a ticket and it won’t allow me to… I paid for premium subscription..

Charts rarely load. This app is very good when it works. Unfortunately I have been running into issues with the charts as they will often not load despite displaying current price and percentage moves in the watch list. I am writing this review to get the attention of the developers so that this can be addressed as I’m sure it’s a simple fix. I will then provide a 5 star rating. Thank you

Great app but can you trade with it?. I normally use the PC version of Tradeview but I tried use the mobile version as well to make quick tradings on the go instead of turning on and off my PC. However, I cannot seem to find a way to trade using the mobile version. Did I simply not find it or does it not exist?

Bugs in the trade notification. when using the app as a trader, there is this bug where the notification popups won’t close that it seems like its neverending. these notification would fill the entire screen and it’s impossible to look at the chart. these notifications are mainly for order fills, order rejected, stop loss moved, take profit moved. please make this horrible UI/UX feature go and find a better way to display these notifications. beside these notifications are low priority, and you can put all these notifications within a trade or non-trade history panel. most of traders probably won’t need to see it, especially like moving the stoploss notification. One of the better UX for trading is MT5. it is a great app for traders. Everything is simplified and of course it doesn’t have the amount of feature as tradingview but its way more friendly for the user. thanks

Terrible syncing. The sync between desktop app/website and the iOS app is terrible. I do detailed analysis on the desktop app and then try to use the iOS app and drawings etc that were deleted days ago still appear. There’s no sync of folders etc in object tree. It’s just an unusable mess. Please rectify this ASAP.

Limited with Australian market, slow charts. Not great for Australian market, as very delayed. I have lots of difficulty with the charts as they are very slow to change, and are often unusable as they don’t upload. I have two other platforms, and their charts have no such issues, which is pretty frustrating as I paid much more for trading view.

iPad version - still have to select “Full Feature Chart” every time. This version on my iPad shows just a preview line chart on the side each time I select a new ticker from my watch list 🤨 Have to select the ‘Full Feature Chart’ button each and every time to get to see full chart with annotations. No option in settings to change this on iPad?. C’mon TV, please give users options to select original default rather than force this on them. PS If your response is going to be: “you can change this in settings now”, then sirs please explain how to change on iPad? Thank you (iPhone is working fine, default is full feature chart)

When do we get an Apple Watch app?. Having the ability of having chosen prices as complications on Apple Watch would be great. I have to use another app (Swiss Forex) instead for this, even though I pay you for my web account. Better still, create your own watch face for Apple Watch so it can have multiple complications (recently introduced by Apple). This is all what you're lacking, but it's major for serious traders.

Unable to use the app on my laptop suddenly. I had the trading view app on my laptop and one day went to open it and it said that my operating system no longer supports it. Great app up until that point but disappointing that the updates are automatic and the developers have not considered those using older systems.

Excellent app. Almost perfect, for extra brownie points, full support for slide over, side by side and stage manager. And some icon shortcuts to the main toolbar at bottom: Layout, full screen and load… (layout). That would save so many trips to the …. Menu.

Unparalleled experience. Amazing experience using this app, so versatile, so easy and extremely reliable. I have never been so happy using my device with something so extraordinary that will ensure security for my future.

Almost perfect. No doubt it’s the most versatile app for forex trading . Just a tiny bit of frustration when using some of the tools. 1. For example why is there no option to add favourites?? For Example if I want to use fib tool then I have to go to edit then browse in the gann and Fibonacci and then select there which is so many steps . Would be so simple to add your most used tools to add to favourites u r not gonna use all of the tools . 2. In the latest update to delete something it’s a three step process . now if I have to delete for example long position tool then I have to select it then go to the three dots and then select remove which is just stupid. It’s a very best app but the functionality can be improved for that perfect 10/10

App update. You can turn the preview off in settings with this update. A top class app once again. Thanks for making that change.

Nice app but requires improvements. Great app with a lot of active traders and ideas. Though it is hard to navigate around. For example, I would like to ‘like’ a comment with the basic account. The app requires me to update my phone number. The option I have is ‘Ok’ to close the pop up. I am back in the square. It should have suggested me with options so I can update my phone number, etc. I went to setting under profile details, and couldn’t find where to update the phone number. This is basic and it should be improved.

Love the app but…. Over the last 2 weeks have noticed it is making my phone run very hot & its obviously using a lot more processing power than usual. Also chewing up a lot of battery. Any ideas on what might cause this?

Fantastic update! Thank you!. Preview screen can now be turned off in settings and it also no longer defaults to the yearly timeframe. Thank you so much for this much needed update.

Great app want you guys to add more. Hi I am here to help not complaining would love to see more help in area of getting setup Happy to share more if someone genuine can get back to me Will give the details Can you let me interface my software that runs off /on metatrade4 Does this mean I have to use an api key or maybe something else but many users in the thousands would love you forever for this add on happy to share more please get back cheers

No support. Pro member (paid decent money) yet can’t even get basic support after 5 days of messaging for support so my app actually work. Only support (probably a bot) message I got was after 3 days with a link to a generic article on using their app - with details of what I said didn't work. They then told me do something again that I mention is the issue that doesn’t work. TV app doesn’t works and their support is non-existent.

Great chart platform but needs some touching up. This is a must have for anyone who uses TradingView. It’s brilliant for checking charts on the go and getting alerts on positions. My only gripes are that the Alerts section is a dead end, and doesn’t take you to the chart for that alert, like the desktop version. Also, the colour coding system on desktop doesn’t come into the app, so I need to remember my positions instead of visually seeing them, which would be amazing on this app. Either way, it’s a must have for traders and I do leave home without it.

Pretty handy.. The app is great to take a quick look at a chart or two if you know exactly which ones you want. But I can't find / or it isn't possible to view the flagged list I've made on my desktop. The app would be great if this could be added (or maybe it already is and I just cannot find my flagged list)

Stable and very useful. This app has become a staple on my iPad and have it open all day. It is stable and very user friendly. My only feature requests are notifications, push or even just onscreen for alerts, the ability to manage alerts would be good too and the ability to undo an action, the lock chart function is a great idea to stop you from accidentally moving retracement lines or trend lines. Also some sort of ability to change the chart to others in your favs list while in landscape mode would be great, but not a necessity. Good work to the devs here. Edit: [Bug] Recently indicators I have paid for have stopped working, readout is not Authenticated however they are. I Have tried removing and readding to no resolve.

Made it 2 indicator max. Trading view don’t realise that 2 indicator max is basically useless, most scalping strategy use 3 or more indicators, when you are stuck with 2 indicators you start entering more losing trades as a result you lose the motivation to continue day trading, and can’t afford to pay subscriptions, trading view itself loses customers because they just aren’t trading anymore. With a 4 indicator max for example, traders can be more successful, make more money and be more willing to pay for trading view subscriptions.

High low average price. Please remove the grouping which has been enforced in the mobile app for the high low and average price on the scale. It was better at (high low) option and separate option for (average) .

Perfect. Best trading app

Used to be the best. Not sure why TradingView decided to go downhill, but they’re really excelling at it. Instead of adding things that would make me want to spend money to use the tools, they’ve decided to take basic common sense functionality away. I’ve got my grandfathered watchlist of ~200 charts, yesterday I clicked to open one and it disappeared off my list. Now I either have to pay $30 usd/mo to add it back or delete 170 charts off my watchlist. And on top of this, a couple updates ago, the ability to see what indicators I have active in the top left is gone, so I have to clear all indicators in order to remove just one. Not going to give it 1* because it’s still usable, but it’s probably time to start seeking out a replacement platform.

Stock overview.. If there is a option for general information to get idea about stock like investing.com it would be very useful and grate

Stock screener. Wondering if the stock screener is available on the app.

Phone app constantly freezing. So frustrating. I cant stand this app. I have zero issues on desktop yet this app glitches and freezes constantly no matter what wifi network or signal

Worth your money. It’s either love at first sight or get it out of your life y’all.

MacD. Liking what I see so far.

One thing missing. Great app! Been using it 3 years now and started using the widget everyday for the past 2 months but for some reason the widget feature is no longer available? How come? What happened??

Awesome charting, brilliant indicator programming, terrible stock screening. There’s no charting package like it - it’s the best by a very long way. Ability to program and share indicators is amazing. But you can’t use any of this to screen for potential trades in the market. That is a massive downside that keeps me trading at other platforms.

New bug on mobile,. Only happens on mobile, template button is not working, does not show my saved templates anymore. Works great in Computer, just started happening recently on mobile. Please fix.

Best trading app for retail and pro. This app is the most intuitive and comprehensive for traders, hands down

Pure garbage. Pure garbage don’t waste your time and money

Useful tool. Very useful to traders

Incoherent overall.. The software and interface is not intuitive and works terribly with brokers. The charts are great. That’s it. The support is non existant.

Update. Great, informative and easy to understand

Please add this feature. On my watchlist I prefer to only keep percentage change, but there is not option for this. Both features 24hour price change and 24 hour percentage change shows making my screen look very full and not very productive Can the back team please add a way to toggle off the 24 hour price change Thanks

MacBook. Wish this was available on the MacBook

Excellent platform. Such a wonderful stock trading platform .! Unbeatable and unbelievable.!!

Responsive App. Links Great on all Platforms

Quality charts. Wish other software had this quality of charts on a free platform great

Great App. Fantastic app, everything works great, however I use a keyboard with my iPad and it would be nice to have the same gestures on the touchpad to work like on a MacBook to pan in and out and move along the charts.

can’t flag more than 500 symbols total in one colour. have premium plan. the app states you cannot add more than 1000 symbols; yet when I add less than that I get an error message saying ‘you can only add 500 orange colour symbols per watchlist’. but starting a new watchlist makes no difference as you can’t flag symbols of the same colour over 500 which is silly. so now i get confused which symbol means what as there aren’t enough different coloured flags OR the abulity to use the same colour over 500 in the entire app. happens on PC, ipad & iphone.

Been using it for almost 4 years. I’m still using it for a reason.

Including AMP futures. Trading view on your phone is great even better if you happen to use a brokerage account that is on there currently Unfortunately I do not and I was wondering if AMP futures could be introduced to the mobile app for future investing

Amazing product with amazing support. Lots of cool tools indicators etc. The support team is usually very quick and very helpful. They even take ideas and will let you know if your idea is something possibly in the works. I do have a pro after using free it’s worth it. I would love to have the top package as well totally worth it!

#1. Best place to get all your ideas and Information about stocks

Great app. These guys are awesome and actually do take user input into consideration even if it might take them a while to implement changes

You are the beft forever. You are the Best forever

Adam’s rap song with his buddies. This app is very good Please try it onThe App Store

Great app; quit changing things around arbitrarily. The iPad version defaulting to a limited-feature line-chart and requiring an extra tap of the “Full Featured Chart” button to see an actually-useful candle chart, is MADDENING

Best view of technical. I don’t see anything better than this for technical

Essential app for traders worldwide!. This app is extremely well developed and I can only imagine that it will continue to get better with time. Seamless synchronization across iPhone/iPad/Mac.

Great for charting and news not for trading. When the market gets very volatile this all tends to bug, but it’s great for charts. The news on the futures market never updates on the iOS devices so it’s half useful on my phone.

Nice.. Very nice.

Excellent application. Very helpful application

sooo slow. after iOS 14.4 and app updated refresh is painfully slow. please fix!

Great!. This app is awesome!!

Valiosa App. Es muy fácil de de usar, súper práctica y sobretodo útil.

Widgets don’t refresh after iOS 17.3. Please fix asap

Connection impossible avec Iphone15. Vérifier la mise à jour car aucune connexion avec le téléphone IPhone 15

Great app. Definitely the best stock app for iPhone. It is crazy how much information is available on our phone with this app, even charts like MACD and RSI.

Easy to use. Very easy to use

Great app. Perfect app for tracking your portfolio assets

Great charting, super slow candles. I love using TradingView for your charting ability but I don’t know what kind of system you guys are using because I use webull for live charts. TradingView is always lagging. I see the 1 min timer finish and no more candles and no more timer. I have to go back to webull for a couple minutes before I go back to TradingView. TradingView has better visuals and more accurate candles where I can chart but the candles and timers stop once the timer runs out on any timeframe. Can you guys fix this ?

Best in class, but…. Why do I have to force close the app so often because it gets stuck on « refreshing quotes »?

Scam. They charge me premium account now they don’t give me service and no tech suport to respond

Please remove the in your face premium service suggestions. Hi team, I don’t mind you guys showing ads within the app. You gotta monetize somehow from free users. However, can you please remove the in your face premium service suggestions once I close the ad? It’s really ruining the user experience. Thank you.

N’est. Clairement le meilleur outil jamais créé pour du trading , mérite le prix de l’app de l’année

My go-to charting software. I've had a paid TradingView subscription for a long time now and have always been very happy with it. After doing extensive technical analysis for years, I nowadays invest long term based on overall market conditions, basic candlestick charts, support and resistance; but I still like to look daily at some of the charts in my collection of sectors and stocks on TradingView. The layout is easy on the eye and makes looking at stocks interesting and fun, like reading a newspaper in the old days, and sometimes I see opportunities that are too good to miss! TradingView is also always a great tool to get a good initial overview of any company that's not already on my list. I recommend TradingView to anyone that is serious about self-directed investing.

Any real problems Trading View WIILL NOT HELP. I’ve invested a lot of time into charts on TradingView so I don’t want to give up on it. Wonderful program WITH ONE MAJOR PROBLEM: they won’t help you with a major problem except for a daily text message. Yes in theory help with features you can learn about online is great. But I am getting very loud alerts even though there are no active alerts. And I’ve tried texting with their help desk with a few suggestions. To no avail. How would someone at Trading Vies like to have incessant loud bells going off on their computer and not get help except for another daily text? And I have the Pro version which is supposed to have enhanced support. They have a wonderful product for the most part. Yes I’d rather they keep rates reasonable but for a problem like this that continues to go on? It is inexcusable not to have a live person help for 5 minutes for a problem with their software. PLEASE CHANGE THIS!!!! Ps - I’m writhing because I can’t figure out how to talk to someone - silly as that sounds. Tradingview - please have more respect for your customers. Or you won’t have any.

Was working fine until new update. Was a big fan of the app/interface for the iPad, but ever since the new update yesterday/2 days ago, the app works fine for the first few minutes and then everything starts to freeze. Been noticing the same problem if I pull up my charts on a web browser on my iPad as well. Hope this can get fixed soon! Update: 48 hours after this review, the problem was solved. Thank you TradingView! Great app to use for beginners and more advanced traders who want to step up their chart game!

Mobile Alerts. Mobile Trading.. Alerts on Mobile are waaaay too late. The fact that one can’t trade on mobile is ready strange in this mobile world. Now I learned that I can’t even use it for alerts :( Amazing soft btw, doesn’t really deserve such low stars, I’m really just trying to attract the attention of the devs here, as even in paid version I can’t find a customer support option… many improvements are being made in the app lately, yet biggest, most important, most useful aspects aren’t being addressed for a long time. Bitget integration, for example, was promised over a year go :( Mobile trading, and timely alerts please!🙏🏻 I don’t want to use any other soft, but I still have to after all this time…

Love the app, missing something. I love trading on my iphone and ipad. And my goal is to live traveling and with only this 2 devices. Something that is missing and the only thing I can think is to be able to add a symbol/ticker from a watchlist to the color red list (and other colors) from the chart. On the web is easy because the watchlist is next to the chart, but on mobile and ipad you have to switch from the chart to the watchlist to add/remove the flag and then go back to the chart. Is not much, and the app is great, but is just something that could make the experience more seamless. Thanks for everything, best trading app.

Some bugs and other issues. Been using this app from 2019. At first it was real smooth and had lots of technical indicators and tools for free. However nowadays you have to pay to play. Moreover you can’t have more than 2 charts connection any more which can result into loss of your analysis of the chart is not connected real time. As for bugs, at times when you try to run your own pine script by combining with with other publicly available ones, then the indicators or strategy will become slow. And back testing the combination of more than two strategies will take a lot of time. Kindly remove this issues related to charts and indicators.

Upgrade plan. Hello developers, So as I have been using trading view for over a year now (great app) I have come to notice that you guys offer upgrade plans but are unable to upgrade in app. So I went through the actual internet and purchased a plan( starting with the 30-day free trial). Upon doing such I went back in the app and tried to access the features that the plan above the free package offers(pro) and not only was I not able to use them but I also could not access my profile. I love the app and would hate for this to be deal breaker for future readers/ current readers. Plz fix :) thank you!

Can’t believe you don’t need my money…. I didn’t find any other place to write you guys…apparently you are hard to reach company, unfortunately. I bought Essintial free trial subscription, but right away realized that those two indicators I need (and only reason your paid subscription worth it) both of them only in Premium subscription… well, that’s fine, let me just upgrade my free trial to try and I’d be ready to buy it, your Premium one. But no…the system simply didnt let me do it, despite on that it’s possible you tell about it everywhere. So right now I have only Essential sub which is no use at all, definitely I’ll cancel it, but how can I try that Premium if I already don’t have the free trial option?

Great App. I love this app. I never have any problems. They never give me pop ups asking me to rate the app. So I’m doing this right now of my own free will because that’s just how much I love the app. What really pushed me to rate this app was the snow update. I think the app icon is so cute. I had also accidentally almost dropped my phone and I saw it started snowing in the app!!! That’s how I found out if you shake your phone it starts snowing! 10 out of 10 best trading app. (P.S. I think you should keep the snowing update forever, it will be very much appreciated:))

Best platform ever !!!!!. Tracing view is allowed me to excel my financial studies. I’ve learned so much from members who post their insights. In addition how flexible the charting software is. Without this platform i wouldn’t be nearly as successful. And I’ve used, TD ameritrade platform, Think or swim, and by far TradingView blows away the completion. I’m so thankful for who ever designed and implemented this software. I continue to learn more about the platform, and utilize its features.. if you’re considering TradingView as a investment tool. I highly recommend it.

Amazing app. A must have.. If I would have discovered TradingView years ago my accounts would be in a much stronger position today. It has everything I wanted coming into it, and it was super fast and simple to setup it up and tailor it to my needs. And each week I come across new features that make me say “wow” out loud. The desktop and iPad versions work seamlessly together and I’ve been using them for a few months now. Amazing app. A must have. At this point I can’t imagine needing anything further from a trading app.

Amazing resource, yet needs more features on mobile. TradingView is an amazing resource for traders and investors of every level. There is no other product currently offered that is easier to use and as smooth and responsive as TV’s web browser experience. The mobile app is a welcome and handy offshoot, yet leaves out some of the amazing features that makes TV my go-to charting application. The main omission is the lack of sortable watchlists. This simple feature would be of great use to me and its quite mind-boggling that it is not yet implemented in this app. Anything the developers can do to make the app more like the browser experience is a win in my book. Cheers to the team and keep it up!

This is not a gaming app. Love this app but as traders we are all used to a routine and this app keeps changing exactly when you get used to changes. Sometimes even reverts back on changes. This is not a gaming app, even games dont change their user interface this often because we are creatures of habit. Specially us traders. its getting to the point where this app is just downright unreliable, charts wont load, have to figure out how to go to your watchlist or timeframe cause it changed for the thousands time. I feel like the developers want to please everyone which I get but release it to TestFlight have a dozen people test it before going live. Or create a trading gaming app and move over the idea part and have incentives for traders that predict correctly. But dont change what already works. I dont want to learn one software over and over again.

Ultimate Platform for Traders and Investors. TradingView is an amazing platform for traders and investors of all levels. It offers a wide range of features, such as powerful charts, real-time data, social network, alerts, and more. You can track and analyze any market, from stocks, forex, crypto, to futures and bonds. You can also learn from the experts and share your own ideas with the community. TradingView is easy to use, fast, and reliable. I highly recommend TradingView to anyone who wants to take their trading to the next level. It’s the best tool for market analysis and education.

On its way to 5 stars!. I only give it 4 stars because I want a couple features that would make it even more amazing than it already is. As others have sai, it’s a great adaptation from the web version to a phone app. Really amazing. Features I would love to see: 1-finger Zoom like Google maps I’d love to be able to zoom in and out with a tap-tap-drag up and down to zoom in and out like you can with a trackpad or scroll wheel. Rearrange tools I’d love to be able to hold and drag drawing tools so the 3 or 4 that I use on the mobile version are more easily accessed. Other than that, you can tell that there has been a lot of thought put into the usability of this app. Like the scrolling list in the lower left to swipe through your list, or tapping it to type in a new symbol. Little things like that are delightful and reassuring that whomever is in charge of design and UX on this app is engaged and capable. I’m grateful for that. Thanks for the great app!

Best overall cloud charting software!. If you require a consistent and customizable charting software for all platforms then look no further. You can bring all your charts everywhere and it’ll look the same no matter which device you use. It might not be the most advanced like some dedicated desktop softwares but it has everything you need to get the job done and more. I know the new app UI rollout was a disaster but the developers have been constantly optimizing it making it more efficient and user friendly with each update. TradingView is completely worth every penny.

Some flaws. there’s been this same problem with it that’s never been fixed and only got worse (as now it often adjusts itself auto) The auto adjust view (double click right price bar) often causes a flattening of the chart and you have to scroll wheel or drag on the same bar to get the candles back to a reasonable size, then you have to drag on the chart to get them back into view.. also when trying to publish scripts the staff are unreasonable tyrants. You have to privatize them to share them otherwise they’ll likely take it down even if it is unique or similar to another but tweaked. Appealing does no good. Their pricing is not reasonable to me.

Not Always Real Time. I’m not sure if getting real time data depends on your plan, I’ve used all of them and have noticed there are sometimes maybe 3/10 times, data doesn’t load the price for minutes at a time, you can see this in cryptocurrencies, ATOM, EOS, and many more, frequently.. ultimately using only the exchanges data. The lack of real time data is off putting enough, as a scalpter; being in and out of trades within minutes, to not rely on this platform. *Even with the paid data plans, I also use this platform to practice trading strategies, and lately it’s also been not entering trades, in the paper trading account! Setting limit orders, market orders, are failing. This is my last review. This product is no longer usable, and is just wasting my time. Even more with this review.

Refresh / freeze too much. This is my second review about the app and the website in general. It seems that I am not the only one here complaining about the chart either freezing to often or crashes or refresh. I have the latest IOS 15.1 and the latest update and the latest update of the app and it still does the same thing every 5 sec or every minute and the worse part is that after it crashes or refresh it jumps to 5 previous currency pair which it screws up mi set up that I am currently on. The website does the same thing. This is very bad. I highly suggest to fix the website in general. Otherwise I’ll be considering on cancel my premium and other people will too. Doesn’t make sense to be paying for something that it doesn’t work or it doesn’t get even fix.

Please allow us to move stocks to the top with one button. Edit #2. I want to move a stock to the top of the watchlist ! Why are you telling me to tap the name of the watchlist and scroll to the top ? I want to move a stock from the bottom of the list to the top with a click of a button, instead of pressing and holding it and drag it to the top I want to be able to move a stock to the top of the watchlist with a click of a button, instead of pressing and holding and drag it all the way to the top of the list.

Doesn’t work right on every ticker. Very disappointed wasn’t able to find there support so just leaving a bad review....... also I was viewing a few tickers most of them works fine but for some reason a few tickers just don’t have a chart at all when I click them not on app or website I tried different setting time frames nothing will show up been like this for awhile now on those certain tickers tried to loo at at DKS MRNA today and no chart showed up on those 2 everything else I looked at showed up fine and again why no link to go to support in the app that’s why your getting a bad review right now willing to work with you guys but just getting more and more disappointed also I signed up for the beginner plan and was told I would be getting some kinda training Um the training never came no even a email about it nothing

Best Technical Analysis App. Provides a cloud based application with fundamental and macro chart data which gives it its competitive advantage. It also allows to connect to a lot of brokers and trade via the platform. In addition, the charting features are distinct in having Renko, line break, point and figure and kagi all in one platform which is very unique in itself. It also caters to harmonics, Gann and Elliot wave analysts/traders which makes it one of the most complete charting platforms out there. And we haven’t even gotten to the scanner and social aspects of the platform.

Tiny screen limits usability. As a long-time user of the Web version of TradingView on my desktop, I'm used to the multiple charting tools and the PINE scripting language capabilities of their desktop product. I still have not figured out how to find charting and notes from my desktop work, on my phone when in the field. This iPhone app does link to TradingView's news feed, a handy feature to have. But the user interface could be made more intuitive, in my view. There's a learning curve to switching from desktop to mobile.

Excellent trading tool. Powerful and easy to use charting tool. I’ve used the website for a good while and it has enabled me to learn the basics of charting and pick much better entrances and exits of my positions. I have not ever felt forced to buy the subscription, the only time I have been tempted to were the times I had enough free time to sit down and actively follow multiple stocks simultaneously at a desktop. But when using the app, this feature is built in with my watchlist being able to flip between multiple stocks and charts instantly. That being said, I will be subscribing to the service, if for no other reason than I am happy to support the tool and the company.

New update unstable or is it iOS15?. I’m not sure why but ever since the last two TV updates and the ios15 update trading view has been crashing and not saving my chart objects and drawings. It’s getting really annoying. Desktop version is the best charting app by far but mobile needs to revert back a few updates and reassess and debug. Hope it’s just my phone but well see. I like the new features of the update but it’s difficult to enjoy them when my charts constantly have to reload. 🤷‍♂️

new update toolbar. I have not written a review in a while but since i use tradingview so much mobile i feel inclined. The new update has the toolbar on the bottom and it is very frustrating for those who have used tradingview for awhile and grown accustomed to it at the top. There are also more buttons like a separate one for indicators which is less efficient. The one good part of the update was the zoom but other than that it is pretty bad. I love how tradingview continues to try and update and improve but this is not the update we needed. Please put the toolbar at the top and condense the buttons like before. :)

Stay away, manipulated articles posted by paid off hedge funds.. I’m sure no one will ever see this with todays suppressed truth and only paid off corrupt political news, but who knows… This app is nothing more than a political scam with articles constantly fed to you by paid of media corporations. They pump stocks to get retail to buy and then sell, basically legally robbing you. The fact that you can’t up vote or down vote articles or make a response should prove my point. If people had a voice and call out all the garbage articles it would be worth looking at. The 1% have complete control of what they want us to read and this app does nothing more than fuel that fire. Don’t fall for monthly payment scam, there are plenty of stock apps for free that just show you information, not hedge fund driven news to cover their investments and rob from retail.

Overall pretty good but there is room for improvement. I find myself using the browser more than the app for a couple of reasons. Maybe I am missing something but I can’t seem to edit indicator settings in the app. Something is going on with sync that causes the app to take priority over changes made in the browser. Unless I remember to completely close the app and re-open all the changes I made in the browser get erased. Open app > switch to other app in background > open in browser > make changes to charts/watch lists > save > open app again > everything gone > open browser > everything gone

New watchlist behavior is horrible. The new version of this app which has a preview card that pops up when you click on a ticker in your watchlist is horrible. It now takes two taps to get to your actual charts and the timeframe and zoom levels are all different. This is WAY less efficient at viewing your watchlist than the previous version. At least give us an option to forego the extra card step and remember the chosen timeframe and zoom. Too many steps now for something that was a single tap. Update: developer quickly adjusted the behavior of the app and made this card an option. Thank you!

Annoying that charts reset ticker.. It is very annoying that on the app the ticker gets reset to another different one in your saved list each time you log in… And it is even more annoying whether you are on PC or app that the ticker and date range / time interval resets when you simply load a new saved chart layout! Very annoying for day trading and it makes you lose track and confuses you!!! I am trying to look at the same ticker while I load a different chart and the ticker and date range and interval gets changed... why???? Allow an option to always display last ticker chosen and another option to keep the date range and time interval as last selected!

The best. TradingView is the charting platform every other platform should be measured against. It’s easy to use, has more functions than I could ever possibly need, and has broker integration on the desktop version, which means I can trade right from the charts without resorting to a clunkier platform. What’s more, the recent update added paper trading support to the charts on mobile, so I can place orders and adjust them by dragging them around on the charts. Honestly, broker integration here would be a game changer for me. I’d be moving my funds over from Webull to Tradestation just to be able to trade through tradingview’s app. Keep up the good work!!

Love this app! One issue though!. I’ve been using this app for 2 years to follow crypto’s, and I wouldn’t use any other app. I do have one recent complaint that I’m only including in a rate because I can’t find a customer service email to message. Coinbase recently added $XRP to their app, and this app did a great job of getting a chart up in a few days. The only problem I have is the ticker doesn’t carry out the decimals far enough, for a coin that trades at less than a dollar, every fraction of a penny counts, but the chart on here only carries out 2 decimals, (ex. .30, .32, .50). If you could update the chart to carry out another 2 decimals, (ex. .3014, .3234, .5064) that would be amaaazinnnngg!

ios update. This latest update to the app on my ipad making server side alerts extremely difficult. what gives? tapping the line with the + sign was super simple. Also, why must i tap a tool to turn it off now. that is also super annoying. please revert or give the option to go back to classic. otherwise, it’s a good app can we please get the favorites bar on the iPad app. it’s hard to navigate through the menu alerts on ios crash the app. fix this. been like this for months

Update has been fixed. Need to bring back the single click “reset price scale” button on the chart tab on app. Shouldn’t have to expand the sun button to access the reset button each time I change timeframes. UPDATE-I received an email where a developer updated the function to turn off the quick view chart preview. Much needed thank you. Prior Review-New “quick review” of stocks is stupid and inefficient. Used to be able to click on watchlist and immediately it would transfer to the chart. Now it gives overview. Nobody who uses this wants an overview we want the chart. Stupid update.

TradingView is one of the best if not the best charting app out there. I wish I’d known about TradingView in the beginning of each rating and all the tutorials that they had on it before it started it would’ve been amazing there vocabulary dictionary did it you could use is amazing the selection of currencies that you could use is fantastic especially since the update and all the different indicators that you can use a Phenomenal when it comes to this app it is essential if you’re trying to be a traitor no matter what kind I absolutely love this app I use the grammar because it was all talk text.

Rating of your software from a wizard. You’re trading platform is phenomenal, however someone like me with 40 years of technology and investment experience measure things like support response people to health questions and from that perspective you don’t exist However you have not one single broker will use the functions of your training tool. We’ve spent two months trying to get connected with a broker they all sell their own platform they don’t connect you half of the brokers you have listed don’t even connect to your play toy watch social media watch LinkedIn the worlds going to know about this gimmick

Amazing and Great Platform. I’ve been a member for almost 2 years and I can tell you that I’m very happy. Even when I signed up and a few months later they had a special for thanksgiving I asked them to honor the discount and they did!! As a business owner I can tell you that this folks doing it right and the care for their clients has been amazing to me. I’m definitely staying and will recommend to my friends. I actually already recommended. And just to let you know I have the highest membership possible due the fact that I’m trading very often. They succeed and they deserve it. Gabriel.

LOVE THE APP! Minor Improvements. Love this app! It helps tremendously when planning and reviewing trades. I use this everyday and is my preferred charting software on my Ipad Pro! Absolutely a must have for any mobile trader. One small request would be to be able to cycle through the stocks in my watchlist by using either the space bar when connected to keyboard on ipad or possibly using the arrow keys that would be amazing. That whay if we are using keyboard we dont have to click on the ticker symbol to scroll to the ticker we can just go one by one using the arrow key. Another small request would be able to click on the chart and type in the ticker symbol and it automatically brings up the search bar. i love this feature on the desktop version and it would be amazing to see this come onto the ipad as well. Thank you guys for such an amazing and seamless product! Happy subscriber here!

My current favorite for charting. The date that I get access to you and all the indicators and everything else that’s available on this platform is wide overview of the markets, and all or certain type periods that you want to watch. There are many many options available so I would definitely try a free account if anything NCU what you’re able to do but it did not take long to buy a subscription after I was able to get the data the way I want to show it the way I want to see it the way I needed. Great product and will continue to be a member unless it gets crappy.

Love it... butttt. Love using the app and website however, as each app update comes up it’s harder and harder to do the SIMPLEST things like drawing a trend line. It’s now made to go through like 3-5 different buttons for on simple function, where as the PC version you have all your tools right there. I wish it was made easier for app users as sometimes I don’t have any time to make it to my PC, PLEASE update to an easier hands on approach. Updates are great, but make sure they’re easier for the user to atleast perform simple things without jumping through hoops

Updates makes it less every time. With every update you get less, less items in your watchlist, less watchlists, and less indicators to use. What it adds? It ada bugs and ads every 10 second to make it unusable to force you to purchase their monthly plan. The latest update that they added the name of the item you are viewing, right when you want to see the price in chart. So you can’t see the candles. Candles will go behind the name! For a mobile phone that you can only see so much, with this update, they definitely killed the mobile app. It is so unbelievably unusable right now. Tradingview killed this experience for me, i’m switching to other free alternatives without these stupid limitations.

Okay but. To start I wanna say I LOVE tradingview for charting. It’s so simple and smooth, so many indicators and tools you can use BUT…. That’s IF the app even works. The app freezes periodically and is impossible to use at times. No lie I know for a fact it happens around 75% of the time that you change the charts. I also know it’s been a problem well before December 2021. It makes the app unusable at times. Outside of that bug the app is perfect. And before someone says anything about checking or changing the connection (which is the only answer you get from customer service 98% of the time) this happens across multiple networks for me and multiple others that I know have the same problem.

NO LONGER FREEMIUM. I have used tradingview for several years, on a daily basis. It’s with a heavy heart that I must officially announce the end to tradingview’s freemium model. Now you must pay their SAAS fee (min $20 a month) just to add more symbols to your watchlist. That is ridiculous and in my opinion the worst move tradingview has made. Instead of forcing freemium users to your paid sub, offer extra value to the paid sub that justifies someone purchasing it. Forcing someone to pay $20 a month just to add more symbols to their watchlist is going to hurt tradingview and their DAU’s in the long run. Free alternatives will become more attractive. Please tradingview I’ve been a user since 2018. Id love nothing more than to continue being a user, supporter, and brand ambassador. But I cannot support this recent decision to force your users into a paid subscription.

Your Guide to the Moon. The best app on the App Store by a light year. By FAR the best app I have ever used, and I’ve had every iPhone since the start. And that’s still an understatement. How is this app free? You can do pretty much everything without paying a cent. Some advanced tools are included with the premium but it’s NOT like those dumb “optional” premiums that hide 90% of the app behind a paywall. This app is so unbelievably valuable, I actually feel bad for using it. Undoubtedly the best tool in the App Store if you’re invested in crypto, stock, etc. and still amazing if you just like to read news/ideas/strategies. This app set a bar no other will reach anytime soon.

Great but could be greater and more friendly. Superb App in many many respects with all kinds of data access. Two relatively simple and useful features easily found in other systems (eg Thinkorswim TOS) missing here: 1. Can’t add customized columns to watch list 2. Point of Control / Volume Profile data not available for periods longer than daily (eg Weekly or Monthly)- this is easily found in TOS monkeybar plots and is quite useful. Another Big minus: Don’t assume live market data (I didn’t appreciate that as a Pro+ customer I hate nickel and diming customer approach)… they want even more money for that. For TOS live market data is a given!

Overall observation is chart reliability for gold futures. This review is based on the data I observed on 10 April 2023. I was doing some comparisons on the the price action o. Gold futures and coin some disturbing results. I follow some very reliable people who track precious metals. At the close of the day (10 April 2023) I was comparing notes and NONE of my closing, high/low, three day high/low, March high/low data was even close. I’m not talking normal data feed discrepancies of a couple penny's but $20 to $30 different! When I checked it against Think or Swim I found that TOS agreed with the data points by the other gold source. I am now wondering if I now have to go and check other futures and see if the data is reliable. Very disappointing to discover how inaccurate the data is.

Good but needs Serious work.. The app is very frustrating. I just want to be able to hide my drawing tools & indicators without having to delete them entirely. This feature is already native on the desktop version. I don’t see why it can’t just be added. Additionally I think you guys should make it easier to switch through custom chart layouts. I just want to apply my custom indicator settings to the current currency pair without having to switch to the currency pair that’s saved on the layout. My last complaint is with regards to the iPhone X version of the app. When the app is in landscape mode, there is a lot of space that’s not utilized at the bottom of the screen. If these issues were fixed, I’d rate this app five stars.

Could be even better. Trading View is amazing. This app is good also but it could be a lot better. Simple options and features are missing. I have the premium version but I can’t access some of those features on the app. The addition of alerts is great but I am only able to edit alerts or add them through trend lines. I just want to be able to view them as I do on the website. The main feature I do not see is the stock screener which is one of the main reasons I use trading view. Also I did not see a way to contact the developer through the app to ask questions or request features.

Lackluster on iPad. I'd really like to see the iPad app make more use of screen real estate. Compared to the website charting, most useful tools are missing: sidebar for watchlist, technicals, financials, headlines, calendar, etc.; the stock screener; and the ability to change layouts, just to name a few. As someone primarily trading from an iPad, these features are sorely needed. My compromise has been to add the chart webpage to my homepage from Safari; however, due to the way Safari handles web sockets to save battery, as soon as I leave it to go make a trade, connectivity is lost, and I have to wait a few seconds for it reconnect when I switch back to it. As a Pro+ subscriber, it is frustrating to not be able to use the platform to its full potential on my primary device.

Keep chart in background small window. I love the trading view app and recommend it to many people. I was just thinking for iPhone users if somehow you guys could make a button where if you want to shrink the chart but keep it open in the background while using other apps. Like have it in the upper right or bottom left hand corners. Big enough to just look over at it and be able to see the price action. Just a thought, I feel multi tasking individuals like myself would see that as convenient and fancy. 5 stars keep doing what you guys are doing!

Too many clicks to change pair. Tradingview web is easily 6/5 but on a tablet it is 3/5 max. On web the chart takes the entire screen and i have my watchlist on the right side and can change the chart of the pair with a single click. On tablet the watchlist is on a separate tab so I have to click the watchlist tab, then the new pair, then the chart button for a total of 3 clicks. When you have many pairs it becomes extremely slow to change pairs. This simply makes trading a hassle and trading is already very hard the way it is. This app makes it even harder. Solution is to just add the watchlist on the side of the chart just like on web. Make it optional so those who want a full chart screen can turn it off. Also it takes 2 clicks to change the time frame unlike on web and even on phone! I should be able to add multiple time frames like on web and phone and change them with a single click. All of this friction in the app makes it extremely bad for trading.
