Battleship Board Game. I missed so much the traditional game. But this is very similar. I’m so happy to play again one of my favorites games. Thanks to the developers. So far, is the best of the new class of BG.

Similar to Electronic Battleship. It’s a lot of fun. And I did pay the $1.99 to remove the ads. I do find it very similar to the old Electronic Battleship game.

More settings please. Wish you could reduce the number of ships and change the rules. We don’t play the rule that if you strike, you keep going. And there are too many ships. Otherwise, the game is fun and works well online playing with friends.

Fantastic Game App w/ Only One Suggestion. Interesting and challenging game. While simplistic it reminds me of the original game I played growing up. I play this on my iPad so the only suggestion is adapting the app so you can play it both vertically and horizontally. Most iPad covers prop it up horizontally.

Couldn’t play with friends. We were sitting next to each other and it still cannot get it to connect. Single player against the computer was fun.

More levels needed. I want to know if there are more levels to play against the CPU and I wish the online play would allow you to pick up where it left off when you are abruptly kicked offline.

Awesome and great way to relax and pass time. I am hoping that the inventor(s) keep it the way it is. I know upgrades will eventually be necessary; hoping it doesn't take away from the enjoyment it brings now. Great game.

Fun but needs tweaks. Wish it would save friends to play against instead of having to send an invite every time. Also, it locks up mid-game. Haven’t finished an online game yet. But it would be great if they fixed the online issues. Playing against the computer is fun.

Battleship. I like this game because of options in number and type of ships and because of added shot given for a hit

Pretty great !. Everything about it is great!! The only thing is after the game ends and you try to replay you have to close out the application and reopen it and re-invite who you just played. But so far so great.

Great game. I wish there we more levels instead of player the same one. Also games does not need a lot of ships just the basic would do with a lot of different level like being able to upgrade your ships

It’s okay.. Nice if you just want to play the CPU. Online matching never works. Gets boring fairly quick. But an okay, free game if you’re sitting in a waiting room somewhere, or whatever. Not too many ads, which is always a plus.

I like the levels. They’ve been fun to beat, but I beat all 14 quickly. I can’t find where you connect to online play, it just gives me an error message saying I’m not connected but I’m on WiFi. There isn’t anywhere to connect facebook or an email. I’m only giving 3 stars because I enjoyed the levels, please add more!

Doesn’t work. I played with my daughter who lives in California, and every time we try to play, it freezes up and then says my time is up and it shows my screen, but my daughter says she sees that it was my turn. Well, if it was my turn I would not see any ships. I’ve been playing this game almost my whole life but online it’s giving me A lot of issues and I don’t know what to do. That’s why gets one star. Please fix

Rules. I don’t really care for the rules of the game. I’ve never had a rule where you keep getting tunes if you keep hitting. I like the game dragged out so it last longer than 5 minutes lol. Other than that I love the graphics.

Good Game. I wish it had more than 15 missions. Did I miss something? As an earlier reviewer said a “pause” function would be nice. Maybe allow you to enter your name? All in all a worthwhile game.

Good......when it works. It will consistently let you play an online match with an invited friend and halfway through: surprise!, connection lost. Kudos to the developers on poor app upkeep. If this developer releases anything new, be sure to have the app immediately close upon opening it so you can outdo this game. Oh, and make your next release about 3GB. Just to tee off users when they download it and then it won’t work properly. And maybe charge 3 or 4 bucks for it. That only seems fair to your customers. Why not? This app is crap so why not make one even worse for a fee? Good luck on any future releases, you inept fools.

Fun but not sure how to play online. So far it is fun but I cannot figure out the online option and ran into a few bugs Day one of downloading.

Getting friends connected. How in the heck do you get friends to connect to a game so I can play with a certain person? I have input both a current e-mail address and cell phone number and neither will work. Any suggestions for me or a contact I might make for answers? Thank you.

Cool game, unless... Upside: Great game if you play solo and don’t plan on connecting with your friends to play. The solo missions are pretty cool and they build each level. Downside: My friend and I downloaded this game to play together even though we live far away. We got connected finally, then it kept telling both of us that the other person was offline. After numerous trouble shootings, we gave up and downloaded another battle ship like game and no connection issues.

I’m not a sore loser…..Rigged. Broooo this game is a joke lol. I enjoy it don’t get me wrong but this game is rigged hahahah. I’m not a sore loser. In fact when I lose, I don’t mind as it helps me see where I can do better on/ in something. But my goodness. I been on the same level for some time now. And I’ll be honest I have lost. But I started to suspect that there was rigging in the game when I would get to the last two ships and suddenly the last ship was found. But nevertheless I continued playing. And then this last round, lol I got all but one ship. 3 of my ships were not found yet. With my last shot being all I needed to win, shockingly (yet not really) lol all three ships of mine were found back to back. With no hesitation at all. How convenient😂😂 All it did was show me that I was in fact correct. Do better!

Great but. Great game & exactly what I was looking for BUT there are only 14 levels. Yes you can replay each level, but it’s too many clicks to get to earlier levels. Or you replay level 14 forever. Otherwise, no complaints. Fun game.

Game froze. I was just winning a battle against the computer and when I tapped the third time on a ship it blew up the second spot I hit again instead of the third and froze on me.

It’s in between fun and ok. It’s an ok game. The annoying part is that you have to sign in to play with your friends and invite them. I have no idea how to sign in. Other than that it’s a super fun game for everyone! 😄

Good free battleship game. I’d forgotten how much fun it was— we used to play it on graph paper. The design is a little busy, and the graphics feel old, and a little slow, but the basics are there and I’m glad to have the free version, the ads aren’t too bad.

Online is a little problem. This is a great game. I just wish you could decide ahead of time how many ships you could play with online. When you play online, the game gives you a lot of ships, with a small area to play in. It makes the game go by to quickly.

Multi salvo. I swear I had changed a setting where you can fire five shots in a row and then your opponent got five shots in a row now I can’t figure out how to get that back on did they remove it from the game?I made the game so much better when you could fire six shots at once

More levels. This game is very fun but when you get to level 14 that’s it. No more fun levels. There are so many possibilities of making more levels. Create more!!!

Quite fun but beware of offensive ads. I’ve had this app for a week and loved it. But all of a sudden the ads are all about a game where men are assaulting women. A fine addition for a game meant for people as young as 4. Aside from being demeaning toward women, it serves as a trigger for women who have experienced violence in the real world.

Sea battle. Like the game hate that every time I want to play, as soon as I sign in it’s starts with a commercial! Every time! I have enough commercials to deal with! I don’t need one first thing off the bat! Deleting this game. I try and try to get out come back in and it’s always a commercial before I can even start the game, not that great of a game!

Fun game but. This is a really fun battleship game but I wish you could pause if possible. My husband and I were waiting for dinner reservations and I had to take a call and when we came back to game it had timed out. I also wish you had just a bit more time to set board up. Overall fun though. Update to my original review. I went out and read the official rules from the Hasbro game and turns are played alternately, one turn per player. Also each player has five ships each. Dispute the differences, still fun to play.

👍🏻👍🏻. Brings back a lot of great memories! When I was growing up my parents had game night every week and we played Battleship hundreds of times! Now I play the game with my son! Love the game then and still love it!

Love this game... Tired of playing solo.. Would like to start out playing singles of course & working my way up to teams.. Started out playing simple game in home living room with cousins, now can’t believe a top scorer on internet,, a life dream!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁

Typical Battle Ship game. This is a basic battle ship game. Others apps many have other games or different size boards to pick from. Graphics and sound are ok. I can’t compare against others apps as this is the only one I have downloaded and tried. I like the training feature where you can hone your playing strategies as well as pick how many ships each player will have. Nice you can play against the computer and each level gets more difficult. You can also play online against others over the internet or against friends you can invite. One downside to the app is that it appears there is not many people online to plays against. Most people I have come across online have quit the game shorty after starting. A lot of ads as well, but you have to expect that with a free app.

Can’t sign in. Would like to play live game but when I choose internet icon it prompts “not signed” which I assume means not signed in. Yet there is no option to register an account or sign in. Going back to the App Store there is a note to send questions to but it’s not linkable so I’d have to write it down then go type it in manually. Meh. Game itself is ok.

Can’t play against anyone online!! Please fix this. There’s an option to play against people online but unless you have friends through Game Center it does not let you play against anyone but cpu.

My favorite memory game board from childhood. Unbelievable that it’s available to play in my phone with friends and family all over the world! This was my favorite game to play with my siblings and will probably be again! Thanks for bringing people together! Reunite family members!

Lots of simple fun. I’m not much of a gamer, so I like simple fun games against the computer, on iPad. Scrabble and card games are favorites. This one is so far very enjoyable. I like that I can win or lose.

Frustrating. Very frustrating when trying to connect to Apple Game Center to play with friends or even with strangers for the “online achievement awards”. Invite notifications show up hours later but not even from who they came from either. Disappointing! Fun game but definitely has MANY MANY MANY. glitches!!!

It’s okay because. I can’t play with other people around the world and In 2 players you will know which one it is a miss or a hit

Ads will force abandon your game. Fun game with my son however, ads will prompt when the game is almost won and force one party to abandon the game. Why not just pause and say the other player is paused? Why do you have to force abandon game on unsuspecting people all the time?

Fun game. Great game, nice effects, goes even beyond the board game with options to place as many as 12 ships on the grid. Stick to training level or one player though, or you’ll be playing against yourself.

Crashes a lot. It really is great other than it often crashes when trying to start and sometimes in the middle of a game... this is incredibly annoying but other than this, it's awesome. however this is a big problem

Old school game!. I am enjoying this game. It’s simple, just like the old board game. Ships are the same. I do wish I could stick with 5 ships though, without having to play with up to 12 or so. Other than that, it’s quite addictive!

It started cheating after I paid for it. Prior to Shelli g out a little money to remove ads, this game acted pretty honestly when I played against the cpu. Since I paid I’ve recorded patterns over many games where it will hit a ship once, miss in e, finish the ship, then miss three times, and then hit another ship. This is way too consistent to be a fluke.

Does not save your progress. I love this game, I love the different number of ships that change as you proceed through the missions however it does not save your progress. I have played this game several times and have got as far as mission 7 in one sitting but any time you turn the game off it starts you back from mission 1!!!

Crashes too often. It’s really fun when it’s working right. But very difficult to play another opponent because it constantly drops one or the other player. I have yet to finish a single game with an online opponent, because it always crashes. I have finished all 14 of the single levels, so there’s nothing else to do now.

Fail to remove ads. The game is ok, I paid for the ads to be removed, the banner ads were removed but NOT the video ads between every game! Very disappointing!

Very challenging , enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoy the clear and Concise graphics of the game. Each stage is challenging but easily accomplished . Like all games the ads are annoying but that’s the price you pay for free games. I recommend this game to any lovers of battleship like me 😎

Always freezes during play, not enough players. The latest version of the app is loaded but so often it will freeze during the game. Forget it if you don't have a friend to play against, hardly ever players available to play against when choosing the online option. Find another version

Does not work. Thought it would be a great fun game to play online with friends while quarantined. This thing freezes after almost every turn and then you have to quit and restarts.

Cannot cancel ads. Cannot send money to cancel ads through PayPal although I do have a PayPal account. After asking for my Apple password to allow PayPal to verify my account it keeps spinning for more than 5 minutes.

Paid for no ads. I had to sit through five or six ads before I could even find one that was closable, then try to find and click settings to “restore purchases” before another ad got in the way. Irritating.

Review. It is kind of hard rotating the ships and it was hard at first to find how to get into a sea battle but other than that it was fine.

The Real Thing. Comfort game. Reminds me of our playing as kids.

Too many ads and the game keeps crashing. There are ads after literally every move and the game keeps crashing - I have yet to be able to finish a game. Horrible image quality - not worth the download.

Great game, but. I purchased the “ad free” version of the game and enjoyed it. However, once you complete the 14 missions successfully there is no way to play any more missions. Is there any way to keep playing beyond game 14?

Fun but...... I love playing this with the kids who are out of town. So far 90% of the games default out. The screen says xxxxx is playing but no activity seen. Then my screen says I defaulted or timed out but I was not ‘up’ and could not play. Get it fixed and I’ll be back

To many bugs. This game is fun when it lets you finish the game. It’s always freezing. It tells me it's my partners turn and tells my partner it’s my turn. Very frustrating.

On line not so good.. Single player is fun. Haven’t been able to finish a game with friends.

I’d give it 5 if it didn’t freeze. It’s a well done game but there’s a goofy glitch that sometimes causes it to freeze up. It doesn’t happen every match but often enough that it’s annoying.

Can’t play online and boring. I was excited for this game, especially to play with others, but it’s really boring. No fun graphics and I can’t seem to play with anyone online. It just says connecting forever and never does. I suspect no one is on this game...

Can’t walk away. Can’t walk away from this game, or it makes you quit. Can’t take 2 minutes to think, or you have to quit. Deleted this game after 2 plays. Never finished one of them.
