Just my opinion. An excellent app HOWEVER, no app is worth this on-going costs. The app should be a one time fee. If nothing else there should be an option for departments to pay one fee for all their officers yearly.

In My Opinion. The 3 basic SFST’s should be available but I also understand wanting to fund the overall project or others... Just wish I could use the walk & turn and the one leg stand without having to pay

Review. Good so far but cannot figure out how to delete info after report generation. Also it is not possible to change data after inputting in the wrong category eg I accidentally filled in data at lack of convergence when I meant to do Romberg... report generated lack of convergence. Please add speed ( excessive) in vehicle in motion.

Nice try. This app starts out saying it’s free but ends up costing money! Would be great if it had a couple free trials to see if it’s worthwhile!

Some minor problems.... Some minor spelling errors noted in narratives, but can be corrected with a proof read. Should have some crash notes for prior incidents leading up to DUI. Otherwise the App does follow SFST’s and puts out a blunt narrative.

Good, solid App!. I have been using this app for almost a year and the improvements have made it hands down the best app I have found for the iOS platform. I agree that adding a few things such as a section for Chemical Analyst and Intox testing would make it that much better and a complete DWI app vs. just the SFST. Also, for walk and turn, re-arranging the check boxes to run left to right instead of top to bottom would be much easier to input, along with a description narrative on how the turn was wrong. The last thing I would like to see would be a voice record box so that the officer could speak the steps missed and then go back and mark them off bc it does happen quickly. I recently noticed that the pricing structure has changed and it has become a monthly service instead of a one time purchase. While I do love this app, I would not have originally purchased the pro upgrade as a monthly subscription.

Deputy Sheriff. App looks good. I would have done a one time fee, but no way am I paying a monthly feel for a app that might get us d 2-3 times a month. Please consider changing your prices. Very deceiving that you don’t tell the monthly fee before downloading!

Long time user, now app is useless.. Had this app for what feels Iike forever and now have gone to use it again and it’s rendered useless unless I pay $5.00 a month? Ridiculous.

Great tool!!!. Allows the officer to work faster and more effective. Not as time consuming and develops well written reports. Helps the officer whom is not well versed in SFST and DUI/DWI. Amazing app! Keep up the great work!

Just wonderful... It basically does the meat and potatoes of the report you just have to put in your two cents here and there to spice it up a little but it’s worth it all day..

Great App. Works great, use it all the time. Make sure you read it and just add or subtract what you want in it.

App is incredible.. This app is phenomenal. I highly recommend it. I would, however, rearrange some of the walk and turn diagrams to make them easier to fill out quickly. Overall, love it.

Will not let me upgrade to pro. I’ve tried numerous times to upgrade to pro so I can unlock all of the features of the app. Every time I click an option I get a loading screen and nothing happens. I want to do the one time purchase but nothing happens. I’ve tried deleting and downloading the app again but no change. Waste of a good app. Without the pro membership the app is useless

Incredible!!!. I have used this App for DUI investigations and as a training aid for new officers/deputies new to DUI investigations. This App is well worth the $. You won’t be disappointed.

Great app. I use this app on nearly every DWI arrest.

Useful but needs more. So I use this app a lot. DUI’s are big and prominent in my area for sure and this app makes it pretty easy to get a quick little guide down for your Fields. I do with they added a way to put the blood analysis in and also just counted the clues once you submit your test results. I think it’d make it a tad quicker and overall just better. Truthfully don’t have much to complain about with this app and recommend it to everyone especially those who don’t handle DUI’s regularly.

Must Have!. One of the best tools I have used in my 17 years. I use it daily.

Great. Great app and really saves time

$5 a month?. Paying for a subscription for this App just to do a DUI every now and again is not worth it. I would rather see a one time fee rather the. Get stuck into another subscription. Looks to be a great app as I have used another app just like it. I could only imagine the reports would be as detailed. get rid of subscription and charge a one time fee.

Best police app on the market!. Wish I had this when I started 25 years ago. All of the data is compiled for your report in a comprehensive way. I recommend every cop to use this app. It was obviously made by a very experienced police officer.

Review. Add thing to observations light unsteady on feet. Add speeding and cover up odors, smoking or chewing gum to mask the odor. I’m pleased over all with the app. It is a little pricey for a month to month subscribers.

Cover Photos. My review is actually more of a suggestion to the developer and I’m happy to remove it if they would like. The photos used to demonstrate how the app can be used have several flaws. Firstly, the officer’s report says that the suspects eyes displayed different pupil sizes, and uneven tracking. Then it goes on to give the results of his HGN test. If a suspect has uneven tracking OR different pupil size, they are automatically ineligible for SFSTs. Secondly, it shows the suspect having nystagmus at maximum deviation in only one eye, which I guess is technically possible, but in my experience almost non-existent In the real world. Maybe just have an actual cop write one up and change the names so it’s actually realistic. Just lends a little more of an air of credibility to the app from the start.

Great app! Two additions would make it even better.. The app works great. The app assists officers in maintaining organization throughout the DUI investigation while making the process much quicker and easier. Two additions id like to see in the future is a section for vehicle in motion with selectable most common DUI driving indicators as well as your reason for stop. I'd also like to see the ability to edit the narrative template used within the app, so officers could add their style or incorporate their department policies into the preprogrammed narrative template.

Great App, Needs Additional Features.. This app is packed full of functional, user-friendly features! It gets the job done! I would like to see additional features such as Intox. reporting, as I feel it would completely evolve the app from being just a standard SFST app. Great product though!

Way to much $$$$. Thought the app would be great for work, but I can't justify $4.99 per month. Are you kidding. Would have been nice to know the price before I wasted my time downloading it.

App is missing one of the required Walk and Turn Instructions. I think this is a great tool, however, I am a SFST instructor. A required instruction for the Walk and Turn is, “and do not stop until you have completed the test.” You can not count the subject’s pausing as one of the 8 clues if you do not give the instruction. It is part of the standardized test! The instructions in the app omitted that instruction, which could create problems for the officer up on the witness stand under cross examination by the defense.

SFST. It’s a good app for documentation. It’s gives good information for a report. Although the instructions that can be read to the driver are off from the NHTSA SFST instructions so be aware of that and use your NHTSA instruction card.

Officer Bergesen. Very good app! Has complete information and great when it comes to paper work

Awesome Tool. This is a great tool to help the Law Enforcement officers ensure convictions and keep drunk drivers off the street!the app to help me keep track of all of my DWI notes. It's missing two article and that is "was the vehicle in motion?", "Did the vehicle cross the centerline/fog line?" That will help strengthen your probable cause. The app does freeze at some parts but once you close it re open it, issues are solved. Not bad for the report either!! Get the app! A few of these updates were added!! Simple and stunning!

Great tool but need a section for vessel in motion.. This application is great for DUIs and have the tasked for Seated Field Sobriety. I work on the water and make Boating Under the Influence BUIs all year long here in Florida. This tool would next level if there was a vessel in motion section. I can provide common observations if you would like to add this option.

Great app. Would love to see sections added for “vehicle in motion” phase and “reason for stop”... other than that, it’s very close to perfect !!

Good but bad. I like the app but every time I use it I have to restore purchases. I’m not sure if it’s charging me each time or not. I only can use HGN now

Great App!. Love this app and the features it has. Cuts down my report writing time. You’ll still have to add a few things to your narrative, which is expected to make it sound more “personal” if that makes sense. All in all I give it 4.9 out of 5. It would be nice if it also had a feature that allowed me to read Indiana’s Complied Consent!

SFST Report Writing. A must for all beginning officers in law enforcement. Highly recommended and easy to use.

Great asset for Police Officers!. I love this app! It is a great asset in the field when conducting field sobriety tests! The report feature is very nice and helps cut down on paperwork time a bit, though I have to modify the report to our department standards. Buy the full app, you won’t regret it!

IPad. It would be great to have this app in the I Pad as well.

Great app. It’s quick and easy. Great too to speed up the process. Especially for a new officer. Would like to see an option to read the instructions for the exercises.

Security concerns. The app is good in its functionality. I am actually in the process of trying to get this app approved for my agency to put on city cell phones for officers. My concern is personal information security. When I ad in the suspect’s information, who is getting access to it. It doesn’t seem like Apple can confirm the security of this app and that is a problem.

Awesome App. This app is so easy to use and makes report writing a breeze. Everything is right there for you. It’s well worth the money.

Great app...but why the membership?. I have used this app a couple of times since I’ve gotten it, and even played around with it some with my fellow officers. However, I do not see the need for the membership, let alone $5/mo or $45/yr for a membership. I’d be better with a “one-and-done” payment, and LEO only verification. Again, great app, but my only issue is the monthly or annual membership costs.

Passenger. Love the app, however, it has one issue, it always selects a passenger even when you have 0 passengers in the vehicle.

DUI patrol. I will not pay that much per month. I agree with others. Make it a one time purchase. I would pay $20-$25 for this app.

Excellent app. I have been using this app since me and my partner found it about a year ago. We have noticed how easy it is to use and recommend it to anyone who asks about improving efficiency in field sobriety testing. It is really easy to use and it keeps improving.

Rating. This app is a great tool to use out in the field. I usually put the information in to the app while waiting for the tow truck to show up. Transport the subject put them on the intox. Then email the report to myself. Copy it past into our reporting system done and on to the next one. Happy hunting.

Looks like a good app. Just downloaded and playing with it. WARNING: it's a purchase for all 3 SFST tests to be used. Generated a report and am pretty impressed. Have. It used in field yet, but will purchase the others and test this weekend.

Not bad. Not a bad app, needs indiana state plate option added, also would be nice to have instructions to each test so you have them word for word.

Overall very handy. I’m an officer with nearly 1K DUI evaluations under my belt. I was pretty excited to discover this app. It works very well for the roadside bit. I have a couple of recommendations for how to really send this app over the top: 1) Add a Vehicle in Motion section where we can either select violations or type a narrative right there. 2) Add “additional observations” sections in each of the tests so we can make comments on elements of the tests that were noteworthy but not official clues (ie, counting weirdly during the one leg stand). 3) Add a chemical test section, ideally one in which we can upload our own preloaded templates. For example, have a screen where the options are blood or breath, time of test, results if known. These improvements would vastly assist with the time I’ve spent adding all these things to the narrative after the fact. Additionally, there are a couple of small grammatical errors that I have to correct in the template prior to submitting my reports. Thanks for a useful app!

Changes are making this app better. Working with the developer over the past few months to make this app more useful and an asset out in the field as a law enforcement officer has been very positive. The response time is reasonable and communicates with you on the process.

Chris Horne. The latest update has caused a problem. The app won't open.

Update causes errors. The latest update has created issues: Does not open (iPhone). I have used the app several times and it is very useful and user friendly. I like the report/email feature as well. Just please fix the last update!!

Why hide the fact that it costs $2.99 until you try and use. Just charge $2.99 from the beginning instead of waiting until I download to find out that I cannot use all features without paying.

Frio. Helpful app the only thing is missing is phase 1 vehicle in motion. Your pc to stop the vehicle, other than that this app is golden

Agent Garr. This app should be free on IPhone. It’s free for android and it’s hard to pay for something out of your own pocket when it’s something for work. Some agencies, mine specifically, won’t pay for something like this. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star rating.
