Almost perfect…but a GREAT app. This is the way healthcare SHOULD work: A centralized place where I can review results from past visits and tests (including imaging results! Amazing!) Also scheduling appointments including video urgent care works incredibly well. However, it only operates in portrait mode, not landscape. I use my iPad rather than phone for the type of detailed information provided here, but it would be better if it worked in landscape as well. Especially for viewing medical imaging results: details are not as clear in portrait mode and this is a flaw which the developers should take a look at addressing. Five stars if this gets implemented, otherwise it’s a solid four star app

EEG Dept. My dgt with special needs had EEG done in Kimmel 17 th floor We had a very nice experience . The nurses were extremely good work very hard and has exemplary skill set The view in our room is like a 5 star hotel We’re overlooking the east river My dgt loved watching the boat and the sunrise in the morning. This added healing and calmness to our stay The Epilepsy team explained every detail related to my dgts care I’m a retired registered nurse myself and had seen how dedicated this young nurses are They work long hours no breaks and still manage to give a smile to the people they served Support our Nurses!

Very poor communication. Although I did like Dr Zarif as my doctor, I need to find another neurologist. I am on a medicine that requires me to have it renewed at the pharmacy each month. I was told that all communication needs to go through My Chart. Because I was going to be away for a month, I wrote in My Chart the pharmacy name, address and phone number which the prescription should be sent. Either no one bothered to read My Chart or totally ignored my instructions because the medicine was not renewed at the out of state pharmacy. It was sent to the pharmacy here. I must have called the office at least 5 times and was told it would be corrected. No one called me back and no one sent the meds to the out of state pharmacy. Because I was near the end of my prescription, I had to contact my primary care physician to help me out. I refuse to deal with office staff that does not care enough to even return a phone call. It’s a shame because Dr. Zarif is a very caring doctor.

Simply The Best!. The best app for the best care team! This app lets you interact with your care team seamlessly, whether it’s scheduling an appointment, question for your care team, requesting refills, viewing your test results, sharing your medical record with family or medical personnel outside the NYU Langone network. This app does it all. Integrates with apple calendar, apple health and uses location services for checking in. Provides educational information on a variety of health related topics related to you. With NYU Langone Health App it is NYU Langone Health staying with you on the move, there when you need them. They set the bar for what others should strive to achieve!

Gotta Take The Good With The Bad — But Do We?. There technician who administered my mammogram could not have been more lovely or more profession. She made an extremely uncomfortable exam manageable. She always had a smile & was encouraging & clearly competent. That, sadly, is not the end of my review. The staff at the front desk could not have been less competent if they tried — and they certainly weren’t trying! They are an embarrassment to a hospital like NYU. I arrived 30 minutes early — as instructed. The front desk claimed to not have a referral…and as I stood there — with my doctor’s assistant live on the phone — the staff claimed — for an hour — that they did not have the referral — as the doctor’s assistant continued to fax & re- fax & send again and again and again. She even sent a referral to my phone — and I begged the staff to let me email it to them or to take a picture & print it — I’d have done been speaking to the wall. Beyond disappointing.

Great post operative care.. I have been in the hospital several times and I have fund all nurses are very helpful and nice. But this past week I went in to NYU Mineola , the nurses were unbelievable, to the point I remembered their names,(which I never do) Veronica , Mike, Dee, Ellen from the OR unit. Mike went out of his way on multiple occasions it seemed he was more of an old friend. He was there 12 .5 hrs, he should have left but first wanted to make sure I didn’t need anything else and to shake my hand goodbye. I apologize if I left anyone out but again the staff was amazing. Thank you Dan Brandi.

NEUROLOGY-YOPD. We are very thankful to had the opportunity to be part of NYU family as patients, since 6 years ago we started our son treatment for Parkinson’s disease, Dr Drummond, Dr Pan , Dr Mogliner had help us to manage the disease , they are very humble and attentive to everything regardless to manage treat and understand the disease , after few years with the disease my son at 28 years old had DBS surgery and definitely we recommended, but is very personal , is a long process very slow recovery and each person with Parkinson need to be 100% sure to go through the process but it is worth the process we saw a miracle just first programming. We feel optimistic and confident been in there care .

Current version excellent. It’s really quite a useful app. My previous review talked about how problematic one of the updates was. Since I no longer have any problems with it, I must conclude that a subsequent update fixed any glitches. I regularly communicate with doctors via the message function, which is great because it eliminates having to play phone tag with busy physicians. It’s nice having a central location for appointments, too. I’ve often used the test results area, and it’s helpful seeing a doctor’s summary in that area. The only problem I’ve ever had is that sometimes the billing seems to get confused; if I pay my copay at a doctor’s office, subsequently I have gotten billed again through the app. But this seems to be a billing dept problem, rather than a problem with the app.

Nastiest Hospital. This has yet to be the nastiest hospital I have been too I had to stay in this place for five days and it again was the worst nastiest unsanitary place they never changed my sheets the garbage was over flowed constantly had to be reminded to give me antibiotic had the lady next to me wait for an hour just to be changed the whole entire room smelled because she couldn’t use the bathroom on her own after coming out of surgery slippers were missing had to walk out the hospital with out a wheel chair after having surgery the night before as well as walked out with hospital socks because my slippers were missing that was the first and the last and I pray no one has to experience what I went through in a couple day of pure disgust literally the hallway floors look like that have been swept or polished in months had blood gooze, plastics gloves, wrappers in the floor disgusting

Best hospital app that helps me keep my husband alive! Ty 🙏. For the last two years this app has been used continually by me to coordinate my husbands many many doctors appointments and monitor test results. It’s super easy learning to use on-the-fly and even allows you to communicate directly with your doctors!!! It also enables connection to other hospitals running on EPIC, (which clearly allows U/X personalization -meaning other hospitals can design their app differently so when you look for information it won’t be laid out the same) which is great for coordinating care and enabling multiple providers across health systems to share test results, and to read notes from other doctor visits, enabling greater continuity of patient care. Having had my husband in multiple hospitals, over a recent two-year period, can confidently say this is by far the best use of the customization functionality. Well well done and THANK YOU - this app helps me keep my husband alive!!

Dr. Nolan Karp's Eyes procedure. “I had the pleasure to visit Doctor Nolan Karp and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodations, made me feel truly amazing. The receptionists were very helpful and answered all my questions. I can’t wait to return on my next visit. Highly recommended!” He is personable, a great listener, and empathetic to the concerns of their patients. Thank you for your tremendous skill in performing my upper and lower eyelids procedures. Your talent and caring manner are a credit to the medical profession. You are truly a lifesaver. Thank you, again

Good way to manage my health information. Overall, I’m quite happy with the app. I can check in with my doctor’s office to ask a question or to make a request; all my appointments along with their summaries are available when I want them, as is information about vaccinations, test results, The main thing I think could be improved is being able to import information about tests, procedures or vaccines I might have received from different entities beyond NYU Langone and have it show up alongside the other things that were done within the system. For example, I have uploaded information about COVID tests and and flu vaccines that I had done outside the hospital setting, and I can’t see them when I look again. These are or should be readily available via the other entity’s portal as well as by direct uploads by me, but they don’t seem to ”stick”.

Galina. I had a test result of Friday 09/08 that showed complete blockage in my right artery it is considered to be life treating condition My cardiology dr Snyder in Nyu never called me with test results All weekends I tryed to reach somebody on call from his office . I got a nasty call from Ivan Coronado Yelling on me why I disturbing him when there is no emergancy!!!! He refused to look in my record yell on me there is no emergancy and hung out on me Nobody called me on a weekend and on Monday I had to call to patient relation of NYU to get dr Snyder's nurse call to schedule the procedure in a hospital. Today is September 21 and I still donot have any response from dr Snyder doctor to find out my after sergery condition. Of course I canceled my app to Snyder and went to another good dr I would like stress my opinion here that dr Snyder is known by his ignorance to the patient. I would never ever recommend anybody to dr Snyder His office is terrible too bc there is no responselitues for nasty behavior toward the patients there is completely mess in his office No tests are done in a time on and nobody respond on your calls I would say there is exceptional unprofessionalism of dr Snyder and his office From scale 0-10 I would put his number "-100"

Prefer The Old Layout, New One Is Now More Confusing. I preferred the original layout of the NYU Langone My Chart app. The new layout doesn’t look as aesthetically good, the Home page is way more cluttered, and therefore it is now more confusing to find what you were looking for when it was a lot quicker and easier before. The old layout was simple, to the point, and visually aesthetically pleasing. The “upgrade” was completely unnecessary, the app worked perfectly fine the way it was. It would be nice if they just put it back the way it was. I really hate “upgrades”, they always just end up ruining everything by changing things that don’t need to be changed, and adding useless unnecessary “features” that are just messy clutter. Advice: Always keep it simple- if it ain’t broke don’t “fix” it!

William Fuller Heart Care. I am 78 years old , a retired veterinarian and a Medicare patient . I live in Bluffton , SC now for 17 years. Previously, I lived for over 30 years in the Boston area. My medical care there was provided by Mass General Hospital. The care there was excellent. Medical care is a business and Medicare is a low margin payer for practices. The time spent with and dedicated to Medicare patients by private practices is alarmingly short. Patients are overly treated like a number. They are churned out. Basic care is provided and to be expected. It frequently does fall short of to be expected outcomes. Since I was in a medical field in my professional life , I can well understand this. In my case of heart failure due to a failed prosthetic aortic valve for bicuspid aortic valve stenosis and previously attended coronary artery disease , I made the decision to seek academically oriented medical care for heart failure. My acute condition was over looked by a 6 minute exam. I could not have confidence that I was going to be given the attention and quality of medical care my condition required for the best chance of a positive outcome. I made the right decision to come to NYU for continued medical care. I well appreciate the comprehensive care and time spent with me by attending doctors and the follow up communications through the portal has been terrific. The para medical staff including receptionists have been exemplary in their work.

Emergency room. My question is how is it possible that I will take my girl to the emergency room on Wednesday the 15th with a fever of 102 and pain in her body? The girl was diagnosed with a urine infection and influenza, they sent me home with antibiotics, but the The girl continued with a fever between 103 —-105 on Saturday I returned her to the emergency room with a high fever and a swollen side of the face, I explained to the doctor that I felt that something was wrong with the girl's body, especially in her mouth, which looked infected They told me that her mouth looked fine and that the infection with the antibiotic would disappear, in the emergency room the girl had a fever of 103.5 and they still sent me home. On Monday I called the emergency because the girl continued with a fever of 105 even taking two antibiotics and they told me that a nurse would call me back and that never happened. On Tuesday morning I brought her to her pediatrician and she drew blood and did the tests which came out abnormal and at night the girl's tooth fell out and she almost choked on it. On Wednesday I brought Amelia to the dentist and they brought me to the emergency room at Bellevue hospital for surgery and here we have 4 days and we don't know when we're going home. This situation could have been avoided and I hope it doesn't happen to another Child.

Notices. The app has so many great features in helping to keep one’s medical status in the forefront. Communication, test results and the connection to my busy calendar are great! The one area that continues to pose a problem, in that the link does not help identify what area the unread notice still remains. I have spent hours reviewing all areas and still am not able to close out these unread notices, including this in Messages and email. How can this notice of outstanding notices be made to identify what areas the notices are still unread? The other area that confuses me is the billing area. I see a billing notice, send a check from my bank and it takes 3 to 4 weeks before my account is credited, and this is still with identifying where this payment is for physicians, or hospital billing. Meanwhile new billing comes in with the same posted amount and causes me to wonder if my payment has been posted, or this is a new charge. Why does it take so long for payments to be posted?

Rock Stars. I have been a patient of NYU Langone for 3 years. Everyone at the practice has been very responsive to all of my needs. They respond to requests for appointments and prescriptions very quickly. The online portal is easy to use and they respond timely! I had a prescription for a controlled substance sent by a mail Rx service of my choosing which was stolen from my box. The pharmacy made it as difficult as they could but NYU Langone stayed with it and got it refilled. Dr. Rockland rocks. He is on top of everything and displays a thorough understanding of all issues I have had. When he needs to make a referral, he has referred me to A+ doctors. If there was a sixth star, I would have given it.

Great app. I don’t normally take the time to write any reviews even when it’s for a great app. Just wanted to say that from the moment I scheduled my first appointment with a neurologist, through my hospital stay over the last few days, the app has been essential to keeping me up to date. I received test results as they immediately became available which helped to keep me calm and in the loop throughout my stay. (I most often received results 10-30 minutes before staff would come to talk to me about them.) All my MRIs are saved within the app and all of my NYU Langone doctors have the ability to access each others’ notes and my treatment plan. I was able to quickly schedule a follow up appointment with a specialist who will have every bit of information available to him when I meet him in two weeks. Can’t complain about this app at all!

Terrible new update as of May 2021. This latest update is terrible! It takes so much more work to find the basic things. Why are my visits not on the home page? That’s the section I use more than any other to look at after visit summaries and see what I have upcoming and where I need to go. It’s so far down the menu. The label of “schedule” is confusing because at first I thought it meant my schedule of upcoming appointments. I far preferred when all my options were in one place, this makes no sense. It feels like they’re just trying to make it look flashy but have completely screwed functionality. And the way things move makes it a lot harder for me as a disabled person to access them. Everything was more accessible on the old version and I wish I could undo the update.

Very helpful app. The ability to view test results and communicate with your providers makes everything easier and streamlined. I feel more involved in my healthcare decisions because the information is available regarding my conditions. It is also easier to pay any bills right from the app. I do have one problem in coordinating the app sign-in between my iPhone with Face ID and my tablet with fingerprint sign-in. One seems to cancel out the ability of the other to use their respective methods. Would appreciate a fix to be included in next update, if possible. Thanks again for a wonderful app.

Outstanding staff on the Peds Acute unit-8th floor- Hassenfeld Children Hospital. The staff working on the peds unit 8th acute are all amazing and should be recognized for their service to their patients and their families. They were cooperative, professional, and helpful. Special recognization to the following nurses Amy, Girlie, Stephanie, Vivian and the PT and OT team. They ensured my son and I had everything we needed as he recovered from major surgery. They ensure his pain was well managed and he was active to ensure his recovery process started on the right page. Dr. Rodríguez (Pediatric Orthopedic surgeon) was the attending physician for his case and he ensured I was informed and prepared for the road ahead prior to the procedure. Dr. Rodríguez truly cares for his patients. He visited my son several times after the surgery to ensure he was ambulatory to ensure a successful recovery and answered any questions we had regarding recovery. NYU definitely has a rock star team and each and everyone of you is appreciated. Health care heroes.

Fair, not good app... Too many options in the menus - Simplify! Plus - There is no good mechanism to contact the provider except email, which is a slow process and might not be in time. There are issues that are not an emergency, but need less than 3 days to be responded to. I had an appointment which was supposed to be a Televisit, but I keep getting reminders to show up at 38th St; last was today. Appt is tomorrow. I called GI, since sending an email would’ve been too late; the appointment was in one day. They said they would correct it and send me an email confirming it. I have not received one. As of this writing, I have a visit to the clinic listed on the app, which is still not correct; it is a video visit. I will be there to sign in for the video visit, and hopefully NYU will correct the situation before that. If not, NYU will have wasted my time - something I positively hate. They should have corrected it by now. Bad patient sevice.

Getting ready to donate. When my husband entered stage 4 kidney renal failure it was time to set in place “where” to possibly be accepted as a transplant recipient. NYU was listed as one of our choices by his nefrologist (who wad not affiliated with NYU…we have since changed and have one of the best NYU nefrologists on their roster). Since entering the NYU system in October we have experienced nothing but the best quality of care, compassion and medical procedures. Though not a match for my husband, I am now completing the final stages of donor testing in the hopes that I may be able to give the gift of life to another. We live in Eastern Long Island and do not mind the 2 hour commute (on a good day) to travel to NYU. Not knowing NYU’s stats with kidney transplant success rates prior to coming, we are now grateful to be a part of NYU’s patient family. However, the success rate (which is 100%) is only one part of the equation. The bigger part is from the team who work at NYU Langone. Whoever we meet, whoever calls us, whoever becomes involved in our procedures have been wonderful. We are always give a wealth of information. And everything is explained. Not only that but the patient portal is fabulous, and all testing, appointments, and results are posted expeditiously. We are eager to continue in our journey (for both transplant and donor) and feel so fortunate to have NYU and its team as our medical facility.

Stellar care. No one ever wants to go to the hospital but sometimes end up in one under emergency circumstances. I arrived in the Emergency Room under the care of Dr. Daniel Matalon. I was swiftly examined and it was determined that I needed abdominal surgery. Dr Leon Pachter fortunately consulted with Dr. Daniel Matalon and I was admitted. The pain was intense but the medical team - Dr. Pachter & Dr Hui, saw to it that I was as comfortable as could be up till the surgery and then after. The nursing staff was beyond stellar. I asked one of the nurses - how is it that everyone is so kind and thoughtful and he remarked “we try”. I corrected him to say “ that’s the thing you do not have to try “ you are all genuinely kind and professional. An extra pillow, a warm blanket , making my bed so I should be comfortable was part of their daily routine and they were a busy floor but you wouldn’t know if. I hope and pray that I will never need surgery again but do know there is no hospital like NYU - first class service for everyone.

Hyperbaric Team. The team is above exceptional and truly beyond excellent in their ability and care of anyone taking hyperbaric therapy. When I began it, I was totally afraid of the treatment but by the next day I was totally comfortable with it that is thanks to Danial for walking me through the process. Kudos to Kevin for his calming personality and working through scheduling problems as well as preparing me for my visit. Carley is just wonderful. She runs the therapy sessions with a calming support system. Besides their expertise, they genuinely care about the patients and their problems. They listen to you and care about your well-being. I know that I did not mention everyone but they are also included in my appreciation for the outstanding treatment that I received. Again, thank you Catherine Walsh

Amazing App. I’m a young, healthy college student who has had an unexpectedly rough semester. I’m so happy that I was introduced to this app. I see all my visits to doctors and the ER, medications, payment prices, and I was even able to add my insurance in. This app has literally everything you need regarding medical health such as scheduling an appointment and filling out the pre-appointment questionnaire days prior to appointments. You can even submit payments on the app instead of sending checks, very convenient. Definitely grateful for the app! It’s a great, simple, and easy to navigate interface…I’m amazed.

Horrible experience. Called in July to schedule appointment, they told me first available was October but I could do a video visit 9/11. Doctor did not get in the call. NYU app didn’t work. When I called the first person said we will reschedule to 9/25 and order bloodwork. Then another called and said that would have to be done in person and next available is in November, and then course of action would be the one after that 4-6 weeks later, so from first attempt to get help to when I MAY get help is after the holidays almost 6 months later. NYU is getting too big, 6 different answers from the same phone number and no one seems to know what’s going on, and worse, doesn’t seem to care. I hope NYU reads this review because there is no other way to complain to them but use the phone, no place to leave written reviews… Hmmmmm

Extended wait time for svc. No access to my new Pcp, due to existing Pcp retirement. I hv called everyday since my first visit on the 8 of month. I’ve held on waiting for a response more than thirty minutes on each call. The recording is over n over repeatedly. I applaud the increasing of hospital sites for more quality care, however if no one respond to yr calls I’d rather hv less sites with quality care as to more sites with no patient care. I’ve been a patient for several years with Winthrop/ NYU and I’ve never received this type of treatment. I had to call my previous doctors number to try n get a referral for appt for neuro visit. The good thing I found out was I didn’t need a referral since they are all in the same network.? I am a disable senior can you imagine the frustration of constantly getting no response yet knowing you must get the appt. due to wait time to see the doctor. I thought it was patient care which is important from recording message apparently not. People fail to realize TODAY IS ME, TOMORROW IT could be you. You must do better. It’s all about money the quality care has left the building.

App needs work. I tried to schedule a virtual visit with my cardiologist using the app, so I messaged her. I found out by whoever replied to my message that she went on an extended leave. They could have posted something here about this. They still had her info and profile up. I tried to use the NYU app to find another female cardiologist . I found someone, made a virtual visit appointment online. Later that day I got a phone call that she does not do virtual visits. Obviously a disconnect there. I have since gotten 2 more messages about my cardiologist being out and offering other doctors. Very odd that the senders had some setting that would not all me to reply to them. This is very cold. I had some questions about their messages to me. I feel abandoned. I also wanted to find out if they had another provider in Westchester. I like NYU but with other options like Columbia, Montifiore and Yale New Haven nearby I am going to seek a physician with one of them.

Helpful with Booking, History and Transparency. My family sticks to NYU doctors and facilities because of how automated it is to share results between doctors, as well as see the results clearly yourself. Book experience is super straightforward, you can tie your pharmacies to your profile, and your entire test and vaccination history is easily accessible In instances where you need to get the info. When I or a loved one has been to the hospital, I really liked the experience getting lab results direct on MyChart. I didn’t see my nurses or doctors much but I felt like I knew exactly what was going on because I would ask what they were ordering as they took it, and saw immediately what the results were as they were completed. Lastly, you knew the exact name and dosage of the medication you are taking or need to take, as well as when. The only area that needs work is telehelp (experience is a bit clunky, but that’s most of the industry). I wish everything about the American healthcare system was this straightforward.

Where is the courtesy at Langone?. I just went to get a bone density test at the Women’s imaging center at 221 Lexington Ave. I waited 4 months to get that appointment. This morning when I arrived I was told by a nurse that the bone imaging machine had just broken. I told the women at the desk the machine was broken, and they asked me to wait in the waiting area. They said they would get back to me, but they let me sit and wait for an hour in a very cold waiting room. Finally, I asked at the desk about what was happening. I was not given an answer, so I made the decision to reschedule. The woman at the desk instead of offering me an opportunity to reschedule at the desk offered me a card with a phone number for rescheduling. She should have been kind enough to reschedule on the spot. This is no way to treat me or anyone else. But, what do you care? I am writing this for my sake, not yours.

works well!. Uhh what? This app is actually so good. Apparently the old UI was better based on some reviews but I never saw it and this new one was a breeze so! Hey! Take that as you will. As someone outside the NYU health system I was having trouble finding doctors with my horrible insurance, even using their own provider locator. On this app I was able to find a lot of specialists in-network, and then schedule an appointment seamlessly. And video conferencing is even built in for remote appointments (have not used this yet admittedly)! There are so many shoddy medical webportals out there that it’s nice to see one that works effortlessly.

Wacky billing. My billing for Dr Ohri, who I only see about twice a year, I get billed multiple times over a period of a few months. Furthermore, if you owe a doctor from a missed payment/co-pay - they send an NYU Paper bill (God willing if you didn’t decide to go paperless) when you got to pay through the app AKA paperless the bill doesn’t show. You just have to then stay on the phone for a while, get a customer service rep to review things for a while, find the missing bill, then post it to show on the app, then pay it. I love my doctors, their excellent, everyone I have dealt with is nice, hence the 3 stars…. The billing of NYU and/or the app… (???? I’m not a tech guy or a bookkeeper there, so I’m not sure honestly) is honestly mediocrity at best. I have truly and honestly never left a bad review for any business! But receiving bills stretched out over months and I keep paying them … has got BEYOND frustrated. Additionally, if it straightens out I will most definitely change my review.

Glitches. In preparation for a future radiology visit, I fully completed all forms, answered all questions and signed a required document in advance. Nevertheless, the system kept coming back to me via emails and text messages to sign the required document. I re-signed several times and was still being notified to complete the process. While this system is a great tool and source of information for patients, apart from the particular incident referred to, it is generally redundant with repeated notifications and reminders which in my opinion are not necessary. The system needs a close look see.

Emergency room. I unexpectedly showed up there today because I was already visiting others at Kimmel. After my shift was over, I was heading for the elevator; when I got on, I almost collapsed. There was a doctor that happened to be a cardiologist in the same elevator and I asked him what I should do. He graciously got me to the emergency room to check everything out to make sure I was OK. He wheeled me down himself! This doctor, Dr. Webster went way out of his way, and I was very grateful for that. The people in the ER were exemplary in their care and courtesy with me and toward me. His name was Dr. Webster. I recommend a Nyu Langone highly. Louise Fitzgerald

The providers are excellent, but not all the staff. I’ve being a patient at 38th street east location, I would give it a 5, but every time I need to make an appointment or ask any questions at the reception, Mr. Rodrigo Novillo (receptionist) seems to be upset and after you see him typing for a few minutes he just asks you again what is it that you need, no paying attention to whatever your request was, and he ends just sending you to call customer service. this morning I finally expressed to him that I didn’t think he provided a good service and he could do better since his job is customer service.

Used to be great, now it’s the worst hospital in nyc. Came in via e.r got in at 7:30, told them I needed to know asap how long this will take since I have a job and need to make work place arrangements. I also asked for some water and some food. At around noon the next day I had enough. How do you expect people to not eat or drink for 18 hours??? Adding onto the fact that o hadn’t eaten the whole day when I checked in. There is no treatment with human dignity, they couldn’t even do discharge papers in a 7 hour time span, they do not communicate with you at all, you are left to fend for yourself in every way possible. But don’t worry, they will run as many useless tests as possible to rule out some exotic causes. Got some cellulitis? You need a cat scan! I told them what the issue was, and explained everything, my mother is a doctor. Trying to bill insurance for as much as possible I’d unfortunately standard, but the fact that they do not feed you, do not give you water, do not treat you with human dignity and do not communicate is unacceptable. I highly suggest going to another place

Dissatisfied with adherence to medical appointments. I had a scheduled appointment on October 26, 2022 with Next Generation radiology in Great Neck and they canceled my appointment with no explanation. When I called to determine when I was to be seen again, the staffer tried to give me a date in January of 2023. I did not accepting this date becauseI will be traveling abroad. I was given a date of Saturday, October 29, at 3:15 which I accepted despite that fact that the service was offered at another facility less convenient to me. Today, October 29, the staffer called me twice asking me to move up my appointment because this location has a shortage of technicians. I don’t know what the truth is but I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. I want to get this mammogram completed so I’m attempting to do everything I can to get to the appointment early, including having my husband leave his job early to accommodate this request.

Overnight. Katherine Christine is amazing I was kept overnight from august 4 to the 5th on the Kimmel pavilion 2 16 floor room 12 she was the sweetest most pleasant nurse I ever had in my 35 years of living she makes me wanna get sick on purpose just so she can help me and I can come back lol but thank you everyone I also was happy to have Nigel as well this am before surgery he kept me from crying and made sure I was comfortable before surgery of course I cried but he cheered me up you guys are amazing keep it up when you love what you do you will be amazing at it and you can tell that these guys are for the patients thank you dr Quirno you took great care of me Sincerely Eugenia brown

Bloodwork appointment. I’m typically a needle phobic person and I would love to avoid the doctor at all cost. I had to come in for some routine bloodwork and I have to say that I’ve had the best experience that I’ve had at any doctors office with their nurse (Patti). She was extremely patient and understanding of my fears, before I knew it my blood work was completed and I never even felt a pinch. This experience has eased my fears to finally experience a patient and gentle nurse who helped me get through my bloodwork painlessly. Thank you for being very sweet and anytime I need bloodwork again I will definitely make sure I put in a special request for Patti.

It Gets Better and Better!. It’s been my experience that “My Chart” has improved the proficiency of both the patient and their provider(s). I am usually able to click on, read a summary, view test results and communicate with any of my providers within 24 hours of my office visit, test or lab work. I also have the confidence of knowing that my providers in the system have immediate access as well. They, nor I, have to rely on my relaying information that may differ from being fully accurate. There are occasional glitches, but overall it is easy, informative and very convenient.

doctors nurses care at NYU. There are no words to express the amount of gratitude and appreciation I have for the care I received during my stay at Kimmel . At a time in my life where I was so in need of attentive care after surgery , your state of the art facility is second to none ; your wonderful caring nurses and team; and the best surgeon , Dr Sen and his team ; thank you from the bottom of my heart. Although , I still have to recover , I am content in knowing that I have the best doctor to care for me. God couldn’t be everywhere that’s why He created Dr Sen and all of you . May God bless you and again thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Amazing App - NYU and Epic App are outstanding. NYUs app is the best possible tool in the shed that any patient, regardless of condition or how many Doctors (1 or 100) you have. Immediate access to test results and appointment feedback. You will see the results of your test before your doctor even gets to review it. If you’re an adult you can set it up to MANAGE YOUR ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD’s CARE, and it is EASY. This app is designed by a company called Epic and although the color of the screens and the hospital logo may be different, this seamlessly integrates with all the hospitals. I have all my Doctors at NYU, had a procedure at NY Presbyterian and everyone could communicate because they all use the same app. I unfortunately got Covid, had to go to St. Francis emergency room and instantly by NYU doctors has everything and St. Francis medical team had everything they needed. My Uncle uses the same app for Duke in NC. NORTHWELL HEALTH IN LONG ISLAND NY *GET ON BOARD** You are one of the biggest hospitals and your patient systems are antiquated. Get Epic!

Best Healthcare App. This app is user friendly, providing detailed information regarding all healthcare mattersThe menu is complete, I’ve never had a situation that could not be handled by this app. Finding providers is easy and gives full details of each provider. Making appointing, including rescheduling or getting on a wait list is simple and the wait list is a great feature. All after visit summaries are available within hours or sooner. Results of every test, procedure are available for my review. Reminders are always on time and helpful. I appreciate the messaging service for non-urgent matters; I’ve used this for questions I may have and for asking for renewal prescriptions and I receive a response in less than 24 hours. During Covid or when I have a contagious disease I used the Virtual Visit, even sending pictures of a severe rash which my physician reviewed prior to our Virtual Visit. I could go on with much more but all that needs to be said is that it is the most all-inclusive, user-friendly healthcare app out there.

Convenient & a time saver too. I’ll admit, when it seemed like any (& every) medical office was using tablets, and medical facilities were using “My Chart-type apps”, I was not thrilled…I was more “Ugh!” HOWEVER, I am happy with this NYU LANGONE MY CHART APP. I like being able to quickly type a BRIEF message to my Dr’s office, and getting a response, rather than dealing with a phone call. Of course, there are times when a phone call may be warranted, but, it is NICE TO HAVE THESE OPTIONS. Today, for the first time, I used the “check-in” for my appt, via the My Chart app. You just need to ENABLE LOCATION on your My Chart. I checked in on my phone, but, I also checked w/front desk to be sure it was working. It worked!! But, I’d say ALWAYS PLAY IT SAFE AND DOUBLE CHECK, so you don’t sit there thinking they know you’re here, when the feature may not be working, because no matter where OR who, sometimes even the best technical equipment and software might not work. Overall I like My Chart with NYU LANGONE.

NYULangone App. This is one of the best apps a patient can have. You get your test results at the same time as your physician which may relieve any anxieties you may have. When you make an appointment, it shows up immediately in the app and you can add it to your personal calendar from there. All information is filled in for you. The same happens if you book an online appointment. You can also communicate in writing with your physician who will answer you back in 48-72 hours. This is not for emergencies. It’s good if you’re thinking of something and want to ask them.

Giving Birth at NYU. I am so blessed and honored to say I have given birth at NYU Lagone this past week. What a wonderful experience I must say! From the doctors, nurses, MA, service and cleaning staff everyone was so friendly, caring, supportive and helpful!! They made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my whole stay there. I love how informative everyone have been to me, providing me with tons of information for my health, my baby, how to breast pump and take care of my mental health. It was truly a blessing for me to be taken cared of there. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Thank you everyone for your remarkable hospitality! NYU Lagone has amazing staff members!!!!! Thank you for having me. God Bless, Farath Raphael

Syosset Imiaging. It’s a shame that I wouldn’t return since the staff is wonderful but the procedure to get my appointment & results are ridiculously time consuming & frustrating….it took me WEEKS to get an appointment…first you talk to a receptionist who take some information & tells you she can’t make an appointment I have to speak to a nurse….Days later the nurse calls takes all the information except what color socks I was wearing….then she says she can’t make an appointment until the Dr looks over the information! When some time passed I called several times to make the appointment to no avail….finally the nurse calls to say the Dr hasn’t had time yet to go over my information again NO APPOINTMENT….I start calling again for a nurse to call me back….when another couple of days go by I called very upset & another nurse finally made my appointment for almost a month later! The day finally came….no the fun begins to get my results! We’ll it’s been a week. & you guest it…no report…wish me luck maybe tomorrow???

No accountability for scheduling personnel. The app doesn’t show a list of people info (or reference numbers) performing scheduling and cancellation. I called to cancel appointment (because Online cancellation button was disabled for that location), a completely disinterested and disengaged woman picked up the phone, she didn’t even confirm the appointment info, and cancelled two completely different appointments for different location but kept the one I was asking to cancel. Well, I found out that 2 hours later, that spot was already filled, I had to schedule a new one, instead of next week I have to wait 7 weeks. No way to found out who that person was, no name, no reference number, no accountability, no consequences. No contacts to file a complaints nor give a feedback or suggestion. Technical support couldn’t help, only provided with a random number they had in files. This is how totalitarian systems works - built to provide services for the users but completely ignores their experience and feedback.

NYU App Overlays and Improves On MyChart. I initially resisted using the NYU app because it seemed unnecessary since I already had MyChart, through Epic. At some point I decided to try it. The NYU app has all or most of the information available on MyChart, but sells it better in a cleaner, more intuitive interface. One difference, is the number of characters allowed in the messaging part of the app, which I find useful. The tight character budget forces messages to be truncated. (Maybe for the doctors, that is not a bug, but a feature.) Another item is an annoying message that NYU is having trouble getting information from NYCHHS Coney Island Hospital. This is ongoing. I have tried to speak to support about it, but at NYU they say it’s NYCHHS’s problem. I don’t know. For my part I made sure NYCHHs is a linked organization through information sharing. I do enjoy the cleaner interface and use it more.

How Pleased I am... I am Sooo Privileged to have Maureen Geary in charge of my Health…She and her team are the Ultimate Professionals..So caring, efficient, kind etc,etc etc…I am so Fortunate that I know Jodi Feinberg who put me in touch with these Amazing Special Team…I Look forward to my visits twice a year as I live in Florida and knowing how Amazing and Caring they are always hoping for a Wonderful report…I am Blessed Thankful and Grateful that I have the Best Care so a Million thanks to Jodi for having the Best Care…Yes Maureen is so Special…❤️🙏❤️

Recent changes removed a good feature. I use the app often and like it generally but we used to be able to bring up a test result on an iPad and see the same test over time so you could get an idea of how values were changing. Now you can only see the one result which makes the same analysis much harder. Why did they remove a feature that allowed a patient to get a better view of their health over time? This is likely related to the app on iPad presenting only portrait now instead of landscape.

I’m staying with NYU. I am very satisfied with all aspects of care I receive from NYU Langone. From my doctors, PA’s, RN’s and straight through to the attentive office team. Everyone I come in contact with to assist me in keeping my health where it needs are so on the ball. I feel “heard and understood” all the time and walk through each day feeling secure that I’m getting the best care for me to get the best out of my life! And I DO like to enjoy my life. Thank you all!! 👍👊👍😊

Pastor Barbara. I love having this service! In the beginning my daughter was also able to view my messages but now she cannot get in anymore. We have tried to get her reinstated since she works, and needs to see my schedule in order to fit hers, so she can take me to my appointments and see results of tests to ask questions. Also the new surgeon who will do my operation is not yet in my system. We have asked twice for him to be added on. It is great to have the convenience of asking a question or checking appointment dates this way and I hope to get it operating fully soon.

Super happy. My husband and I are super happy with NYU Langone and the portal. Being able to communicate with our doctors, see test results, schedule appointments, etc is so easy. I have a few doctors that are not affiliated with NYU and it’s so disappointing because other portals are not user friendly, plus so many portals and passwords. I wish there was one universal portal for all doctors, test results, etc., where everything is all in one place.

Great app. A must for modern-day monitoring of one’s health: Easy to use, links up with my iPhone calendar so doctor appointments transfer over with one click; easy, fast access to test results; messaging capability (I can’t guarantee your doctor will message you back quickly unfortunately!); ability to search for doctors within a specific specialty that take your insurance; TennisFan320and ability to hear about and pay bills online, thereby saving trees and paperwork. In summary: a keeper!

Decent app. Horrible company. While the app is decent, NYU Langone is nothing more than a criminal enterprise merely in business to make money at its patients’ expense. It’s a sick people factory that pits patient against insurance company in order to extract the highest payment despite one’s coverage. Rest assured, though, that the NYU billing department will ‘yes’ you to death while continuing to pursue its pound of flesh — and will place blame on your insurance company as they do so. They will tell you that the Explanation Of Benefits (EOB) determines how they bill you, sidestepping the fact that the claims they submit to insurance companies are incorrect to start with. You, the patient, will be left holding the bag — which is bad for your health! Their billing strategy is attrition and they will win. Avoid NYU Langone like the plague!

NYU MY CHART REVIEW. This is the worst app I have ever used! I would rate it zero if I could! My husband and I EACH have an account, but we share one computer. If I log in to my account, it will not let me log out. If my husband tries to login to his account, the site will NOT accept his password, even though it is correct. He keeps getting a message that he has to change his password. If he does change his password—which is very time consuming and annoying— then the site works for him, but then HE cannot log out, and when I try to log in, I get the message that MY password is wrong and needs to be changed! WHAT DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE ARE TWO PEOPLE WITH TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS???

Langone Review. Dr. Lascarides is a great doctor as he explains everything related to my case in a clear fashion and always stresses undertaking the best procedure that helps the patient medical condition and improves his/her health. I have also noticed the very professional and efficient medical care provided by the nurses keeping clean and healthy environment all throughout our visit. We were impressed with the service at the facility and will recommend NYU Langone to our friends and relatives

Great app!. MyChart is incredibly user friendly. I love that I can send a message to my doctor and they can get back to me so easily. It is very helpful to be able to access all of my test results and scans as well as visit notes so I can show this to my other providers. My doctors have also told me that they communicate with each other regarding myself and other patients using the MyChart app. I cannot say enough good things.

My Full Right Hip Replacement. Dr. Davidivitch and his staff did a wonderful job with my full right hip replacement over two years ago. Although I no longer run, I have found an exciting new life as a walker. I walk long distance (10 miles) every morning and a few miles more while I’m working and I am in total comfort. It was a positive life changing experience for me. I tell everyone about the whole procedure and it was the best decision I could have made to live completely again.

Four month wait to see my internist. The title says it all. I like my internist but what is the point of having one if you can’t get an appointment until four months later for a current issue? I did a video visit with my internist who ordered testing. After results she wanted me to be seen so I saw a Nurse Practitioner instead of my internist at the same office, which was suggested. She was only practicing for two years. I had assumed she and my internist worked as a team, but turns out that is not the case. Only after pushing did she agree to speak to my internist but apparently she works under a different contract so does not work in conjunction with the internist. I know there is a shortage of doctors and nurses, but perhaps, as one of the nurses who took my vitals suggested, the internists who are overloaded ought to stop taking new patients which could help availability. Also, there should be more appointment slots held open for people who need to be seen. This is not acceptable and I am looking for mother practice because of this. Very unhappy.

NYU Portal. User friendly, great info at my convenience. My visit recaps are great, I don’t have to file printed reports (saving forests of trees!), test results I can read and understand, can even text a message to my doctor with a question, I can renew or review my meds, check on upcoming appointments, pay my bill, all my NYU Doctors see all my history at a glance, it goes on and on. So well designed. I am a HUGE supporter of NYU, their Doctors, Hospitals, and all the support Team. I am proud to be part of this Family. Thank You Very Much, Carole Masuck

Very good (My Chart) app for your medical system, not for all billing !. Good Med system, however the billing should be a lot better to need of the patient. For instance the billing part, should all be in my chart, sometimes you don’t know of some bills of other NYU medical center being bill separately. Then there’s no sense to paperless and different billing area, where you have one system for us patient (My Chart), that’s working great and perfect for all your needs, except no transparency, because other billing, not in the same system which make you forget about them.

Puts other hospital apps to shame. Over the years I have used quite a few hospital apps and none compare to the high quality of this one. It is easy to access and use. I do not have to spend time endlessly searching for any thing because it is very user friendly…clear and concise. Doctors, test results, visit note etc…are easy to find, and appointments are easy to make and change. NYU Langone got this 100% right!

Useful and engaging. The app logs all records and keeps them in one place- test results, lab work, billing (ugh!), appointments, vitmrtuak care, communication with doctors and admins so it is easy to stay engaged with taking care of your own health. It's intriguing to see all the minutiae and even though some if it might be outside of my understanding, it opens the door to do a little research before and after office or online visits and to dig a little deeper in preparation for consultation and inquiry. I have verbally recommended NYU Langone specifically because of the MyChart platform and here's my online rec! Peace!

Total incompetence. I had a procedure done this morning and it went well and the medical staff and everyone was very professional but then the catheter burst inside me. I had to return to the emergency room or somebody from urology put a catheter that was wrong down the wrong way the minute I sat down to make a bowel movement I started bleeding through the penis heavily if there wasn’t enough slack with cable. I had to return the second time to the emergency room and sit in the lobby and wait my turn to be done again which I think is absolutely outrageous I just went through an operation and this is what I get. I tried to explain the emergency room that I was bleeding from my penis profusely and nobody wanted to be bothered. absolutely atrocious!!!!

Numerology ICU Dept. I can’t say enough about the care I received while in Neuro ICU. Dr. Lee and Dr. Bhamra you rock. Your daily status updates, medical explanations and next step plans made a very scared patient feel safe and confident in the care I was receiving. The nursing staff was excellent as well and I enjoyed interacting with them on a daily basis. My daughter likened our experience to that displayed on the show Grey’s Anatomy. LOL! Thank you all for your great service, it was very much appreciated. Best Regards! Cheryl B

Messages to me. I get numerous reminders re appts. They come via my cell phone and email. This is in addition to requests prior to appointments RE insurance, meds, allergies, etc., etc., etc. I sometimes feel that I am drowning in your requests for info, payments, and confirmation. I am not a 5 year old and do not need to be harassed like this. As it is, I am always asked the very same questions when I finally get to the doctor’s office. Don’t you think you can minimize the need to constantly contact me. Furthermore, when I arrive at the doctor’s office I sign in myself but then have to be asked by the receptionist for my info again. Once should be enough

All of my healthcare details in one place. I like to use this app because it keeps track of all the tests and the results from bloodwork and x-rays and MRIs. It helps me set reminders for doctors appointments and to communicate with doctors that I am under the care of. For a person like me with different types of health problems that affect me all at once this app somehow manages to balance everything just perfect so I know when my appointments are and much more. I highly recommend it to anyone who sees doctors on a regular basis.

One stop for all your needs. I appreciate being able to use this app for so many reasons. Test results are uploaded quickly. Messages to care providers can be easily sent and responded to when they can get to it. The appointment reminders are fantastic. Everything is made so much easier by being able to answer questions and fill out forms before an office visit. I have my husband’s account connected to mine so I can assist with all of his medical needs as well.

NYU. I would like to express my thoughts on how I have been treated at NYU Langone Hospital since 2000; The amount of Information, Respect, Like a Family, and the Love they shared has been very helpful and very encouraging that has kept me as their patient Healthy as possible. I have reflected my concerns and shared with many people that the experienced doctors know what to expect and how best to treat patients effectively. Thank goodness for the neurologists who’s had the training to get the vaccine quickly! -Reyna

excellent choice. Excellent choice! I am so happy to have chosen Dr Frempong-Boadu. The professionalism and follow up is amazing and eye opening. I was so accustomed to shabby treatment at clinics and practices upstate, I assumed that was the norm. Here I was listened to and at each and every stage I felt valued and more than just a number. I was given the right to be a participant in the process. Never once was I made to feel my questions or opinions were out of place. I could go on and on!

The best. When your in a time of need your already under stress . Going to a hospital and Dr only adds to that stress . From the first day I walked through Nyu langone I was relaxed and comfortable. Wonderful staff all over front dest office hospital anywhere you are it’s a pleasure because the ppl really care . I’m not just a number . I’d like to thank each and everyone for the kindness care understanding and commitment you give . Exceptional dedication and I am very grateful many thanks to all of you !

Impressive!. I am very impressive with the NYU MyChart app. It never ceases to impress me. Today I learned that I can link all my medical records with other institutions directly into mychart. Also, the ease in which one can schedule appointments, message with medical professionals and get any and all medical details about past and present procedures is truly impressive. Thanks NYU Langone for making it easy for us, especially during trying times when efficiency in systems and people is what we need most. You’re awesome and I’m grateful!

App review. -The app is end user friendly. -the layout is curated in a visually pleasing format that makes it easy to leverage - the ability to have all info in one place makes the experience seamless. - it allows for quick and easy communication with the medical team - the ability to link other Drs and/ or test is beneficial. - it allows eliminate paper but for those who need paper the info is print friendly. - it improves on accuracy of information for both Dr and patients - allows the patient the ability to see the test results etc and proactively prepare questions for Dr if needed. - based on the diagnosis one may forget the instructions however the after summary explicitly spells it out. - easier to spot data entry errors and fix with the team

Follow up Mammo is scary to begin with. I just had an awful experience with my follow up breast exam today. I sat for almost an hour and a half after my appointed time to get into this "nerve wracking" test in your radiology department. And, I arrived 20 minutes early to follow the department's request. If indeed you cannot handle this simple routine then I’ll probably not return to Langone! Your staff has phone numbers…let them use 'em. Tell patients to come at a later time. Also, if this facility within Langone isn’t important enough to have radiologists on the premises you need to get out of this section of health care! Dolores Weinberg

ER. My experience in the ER was excellent , I was sent there from 120 Mineola Boulevard where they found a blood clot in my leg. People eat or made a very stressful afternoon bearable for me. I just wanna give you three names that were exceptionally nice to me. Dr. Daniel Herzog was very patient and explained everything to me. Kristi Erickson RN couldn’t have been more pleasant on a day that the emergency room was packed and nurse practitioner Taesong KimWas very pleasant also. They have a very stressful job and these three people did it very well. Sincerely Mrs. Barbara Silverstein.

Save a life and go to NYU!. I was at 4 hospitals in 5 days. Each was worse that the one before. Each didn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Then. They wheeled me into NYU and I knew I was at the right place. Within minutes, they realized I was in adrenal shock and gave me the necessary shot. It was a miracle. I don’t think I would have survived another miss. NYU is full of professional doctors, nurses, Technicians, and all others necessary to keep you alive so you can spend the time with loved ones. Anyone who’s life you value…take to NYU!!!!!

Disappointed. I did not receive appropriate care at the ER. I had to visit a second ER for the same reason because my primary care was shocked they failed to do the appropriate testing. Meantime, they send me an almost 10K bill to my insurance that included services not provided, then they changed it because I told them about it . They billed again but ensured to keep high amounts and keep billing the insurance different high amounts. Insurance paid and I paid. Now they sent me another high bill many months later that exceeds the amount they billed to me and insurance even though both what I paid and what insurance paid adds up to more than services proved. I’m like ????? They didn’t give me any major tests. They just kept me on a stretcher.

DR Roberto Cabral. DR took over as my Family DR when DR Peter Eckberg moved. We really liked DR Eckberg. We have been blessed and very lucky to find DR Cabral. He is knowledgeable, especially on new resources to help address my many health issues. He is a very caring Man also. He takes the time to go over issues and explain everything in a step by step manner, so I am not anxious about the way forward. Thank you DR Cabral. I hope to have you for my DR for many years to come.

Confusion. Although, I am generally happy with the medical care, I am getting conflicting and confusing information. Scheduling medical appointments has become an absolute nightmare. It appears that no one knows what they’re doing, no one knows how to listen. Very frustrating. Why, on Dec. 7 I am told I could not schedule an echo stress test in January? I then get a call on Dec. 18 to schedule that exam and once again, am told that they were not able to find a date in January. They offered, again, an appointment on 12/21. I said, AGAIN, that I would be away. Then I get a text and Message that I had an appointment on 12/21. ?????? Doctors notes do not accurately reflect what I said. What’s going on?

Really helpful. There are a lot of apps out there for and a lot of them totally unnecessary or just not efficient. T Since I have been usingyChart, it has simplified and streamlined all of my records and combines all communications and makes appointment scheduling and maintaining so much easier- it even allows you to link different hospital groups like for instance I have drs with NYU and also NYC Health and I can access all from the app. It is probably the most valuable app I use in fact. 5+ stars.

Review. Everyone could not be more helpful! My only feedback to improve on is, the food. The kitchen staff are wonderful! The food itself is the worst I have ever tasted! I know there is a process in place to improve the hospital and the food is near the end of the process… I worked for HD for 20 years as a designer and trainer. I have met Mr. Ken Longone. I have the most highest respect for him and he is true to his word. I look forward to all the wonderful changes coming to this hospital…especially the food!😂

Works well. I have used several different medical office smartphone apps over the years and been disappointed in them all for one reason or another. The NYU Langone App is very user friendly and feature rich but best of all, NYU Langone actually uses it well. Other places I’ve often felt like the organization had an app “because they had to” and they really didn’t care if it worked well or not. Langone, big as it is, seems to have unified around this app and its effective utilization.

Nimia Montanez. I have been a Care Giver for the past 5 years for my husband who was gravely ill. He passed last year and now I have to take care of my health. Your “My Chart” was set up so well that I was able to bring up my chart so easily after all these years. Thanks for the amazingly easy way I was to bring up my file and info without having to waste my own time or the valuable time of your personnel at your office. Now I am ready to take care of my health after neglecting it for too long.

Rude..!!!. Rude.!!!the personnel who made my appointment screwed up my appointment. I've Dr. Azad way back August and told me to come back for 2 months while doing the Physical therapy, when the time of my appointment comes i found out that they made mistake with my appointment. They decide on their own to put me in the morning appointment which is i cannot come because its to sudden i cannot just live for work because they said so.. now they are giving me a hard to to see the doctor, and put me on December appointment!!! From August to December. Isn't too long for me to see the doctor for my elbow injury.. what a professional NYU Langone center is!! This is how they treat their patient..

Horrible. No, patient should be required to sign in order to make an appointment showing that they are going to pay for an appointment that they have not had yet in order to make an appointment. Now make that makes sense because it doesn’t make sense to me not to mention your office managers within, the facilities, just repeat, parrots the same thing over and over again with no full on explanation or anything solidified there’s no documentation. So if I’m signing off on something, it should be documented somewhere so you could show it to me not verbally just tell me that this is your policy. That’s not OK and that’s not professional and that’s not how a healthcare system should work.

Patient Jeanette Davis-Adeshote. I am impressed with the doctors and staff at Langone. I have received the utmost of care, treatment, and respect by them. Dr. Goldstein gave me a thorough evaluation, diagnosis, explanation, and surgical plan. I am so pleased to have chosen this facility to undergo spinal surgery. I am expecting a miracle during my upcoming surgery, because all of the key people and preparations are in place. I thank God for you all, and all that you do to help those of us who are in need of your expertise. Your concern for your patients is remarkably demonstrated. Thank you all.

Rude Support Staff. I have never commented negatively on those in the health industry as I know their jobs are not easy and the pay is less compared to other less important industries. Today I visited a pulmonary doctor at 6 Ohio drive. I stopped at the lower level to check in-- and the person was abrupt and rude -- i thought maybe she was having a bad day. After taking my information I was instructed to go to 201. The woman that took my information at the front desk was even more rude and condescending. This is the first time I experienced this type of treatment so will assume it is the exception.

Not functioning at 100%. The NYU Langone MyChart does not communicate fully with my providers at Weill Cornell’s MyChart. My Weill Cornell records have been missing some random information when reviewed by my NYU Langone doctors, ie: past test results. This has caused confusion and unnecessary stress until I double-checked directly on my Weill Cornell MyChart portal. When I have sent texts to doctors at NYU Langone, the text field has too small a character count so I can’t send detailed information without editing it down quite a bit. I am not able to verify my cell phone number. These problems need to be fixed.

Love my care team. I am very lucky to have the best care team, caring, knowledgeable, friendly, very professional who respond quickly to my messages, and answer all my questions in a simple way, not in the medical lingo that some Drs love to use and they leave me scratching my head and wondering what the heck did he just said? How long do I have to live ? Couldn’t be happier with Dr Ngo, Dr Anju Malieckal, Dr Klein and Dr Zack plus Dr Gambino who performed successful arthroscopic shoulder surgery on me few years ago and he’s now part of Langone, I would highly recommend them.

Easy access and excellent communication. I enjoy having access to my post visit summary as well as any tests or notes related to my care. This is the future of medicine, involving patients in their care and the medical chart is no longer a mystery to the very person it is in reference to. It also allows me to to share my information with other providers or even trusted family or friends as needed. The people at NYU Langone are the best and I am lucky to have access to the level of care they provide!

Great app. Just downloaded the app a few days ago. And just got my blood work results today. I have been gaining weight lately, and after reading my results for myself, I have scared myself into going on a diet immediately. My results were less than stellar. It also keeps track of my appointments. 2 of my doctors are not within this group. I would love to see their results here too, and since they don’t always share, I may have to switch doctors. I also received both a text message and a email to tell me that my blood work was in. Great job NYU Langone 👍🏼

Appreciative. I like the way this program is set up It keeps me abreast of the conferences with my doctors at my appointments ?what are the outcome of our conversations as well as additional steps that need to be taken to deal with my health I also appreciate seeing the results of any test I take and some breakdown of the significance of the tests A copy of the test results gives me a basis for informative discussions with my doctors on my next visits either in person or through video conference

Excellent caregivers. I started visiting NYU when I became ill in March of this year. From the first day I walked into one of their facilities, the reception was good from start to finish. What I admire about the team is that they strive to be excellent caregivers, which tends to be lacking in many healthcare facility. Not to mention their professionalism. They show interest in health problems and do their best to help you overcome them. I would recommend any of friends and family to visit with them.

It’s a joke. I can never get on it. I have a Touch ID on my phone and I am supposed to sign in earlier Even this doesn’t work I get frustrated try to get results of test with this system. Why do you make it so difficult Who cares about someone stealing my blood test. What is it good for anyone? I keep changing passwords in order to get in and NOTHING works The only way for me to find out my results, is to call my doctor and they fax it to me. It’s a useless system I have NOTHING good to write about it Even when I go to doctors that don’t belong in the NYU Langone, I asked the people at the reception to help me and the said they don’t know how. They don’t belong to this system. They didn’t want to help me.

Completely transformed how i engage with medicine. This app is transformative. It is incredibly easy to schedule and reschedule and appointments, including with specialist. No more waiting on the phone for hours or struggling to find a specialist. You can search for your condition and you’ll find tons of specialist. You can also easily filter by location or soonest availability. NYU does a much better job of using My Chart than Weill Cornell. It’s a big part of the reason I use NYU.

Langone Health Services. I would like to congratulate the staff members as well as the medical staff on their professional and yet personable treatment's of the patients that go there. This health facility has brought back my faith in the world of medicine and professionalism. I hope that all in Langone continue to grow and work together in aiding and helping patients to work and manage whatever ailments they have incurred. I always recommend Langone to my friends and coworkers.
