Update makes program useless to me now.. Up until this week I relied on this program to guide me in successfully guiding me in knowing how much insulin to take based on the number of carbs I consume. Now, without the little calculator icon I’m back to the guessing game and searching for another app to fill my needs. Goodbye.

Love this app. This app has helped me and my Doctor to better track my blood sugar levels! I highly recommend it for its use and accuracy allowing for a healthier life!

Graphs don’t work.. I keep changing the date on the graphs to today, but it keeps reverting back to yesterday. It will not show me today’s graph. Maybe tomorrow it will show me today’s. Very disappointed, because the interface is actually pretty easy.

Don’t want to register. Was trying to register this application password was not strong enough tried to reset password from there I could not do a thing keypad would not come up and it was highlighted was not able to do a thing to this app had to delete it!!

Diabetes:m. This app is excellent in function and method. However, health sync time and database sync is the biggest problem ever I saw. The logbook never overwrote when sync. All the blood numbers copied and mess the estimated a1C

Scanning food. Love this app and the fact that it calculates bolus for you, only problem is that the barcode scanning feature doesn’t seem to work, but you can still search for the foods you want to scan

Good app just need some improvements. I am trying couple apps to track my blood sugar and so far this is the easiest. I like the layout and it helps me to show it to my doctor easily and clearly. I almost wanting to purchase for annual membership but just couple things preventing me from doing it now. Please fix those issues and I will be gladly to pay for annual membership. However, I have to suggest couple improvements when it comes to changing time and tabs about (snack, breakfast, lunch etc). The time & am/pm & the category tab continue to go back to preset and it takes couple time to repeatedly clicking back and forth to set up the way I wanted. Also, the medication info column sometimes just disappear and I have to continue to close and reopen the app and then add the medication on the setting page. I only take one medication and now it has 4 entries of that medication due to the glitch. Another suggestion is to add water intake goal in additional function which also help people to track the water intake. It is a good app and if the glitches are fixed, it will be a great tool for people to use and I will be glad to use this as the main app.

Really good - needs work. This app is a great start. It needs improvement in the foods database. The interface between the existing database and items the user adds needs to be seamless rather than requiring two separate searches, for instance. Some of the matches on a barcode scan provide the right food, but the information provided does not match the information on the package nutrition label - maybe a user should have the ability to update that? It also would be nice to turn off certain categories, for instance baby food which is just clutter for anyone who is not feeding a baby. Perhaps most importantly, the search interface should be able to accept several key words and then provide the exact matches - and the manufacturer/brand should be part of what is included in those key words - for instance the search string “shredded cheddar fresh thyme” should take me directly to just the listings for Fresh Thyme shredded cheddar cheese. If the app developer would like to work with me, I would volunteer, and have done this for apps in the past. This app is so close to being perfect it’s sick, but it’s not there yet. It could be.

Why. WHY would you remove the bolus calculator???

Poor Color, Small Font and Zero Accessibility. Your target audience is diabetics. The same market that experiences major vision problems. Your teal/white color scheme is cute, but near unreadable WITH reading glasses on. I really liked the functionality but without being able to actually read anything, it makes the app useless. Add some accessibility-friendly color schemes, larger font options and just plain larger UI/UX improvements and I’ll switch over, update the review and bring 5 bright, shiny review stars the same day.

Used to be perfect.. Not sure what happened with the newest IOS update but it tamed almost a minute before the app opens after “configuring database”. Have a hard time believing this thing is so well oiled that it hasn’t needed an update in the last 6months.

Slow and expensive but does feature bolus stacking. Love the bolus stacking but the ads are obnoxious, and I won’t buy premium because it’s really expensive and it loads so slowly on my iPhone 6 that I can’t imagine ever using it regularly. But finding an app with bolus stacking is so rare I give 4 stars for that alone

Apps is not open. I installed this app as i was in Australia , but I’m not in Australia and my iPhone location is usa , but my apps still mot open , massage is not permitted me as Australia resident

No more bolus calculator 👎🏻. Now not different that any other app. Used it for years (pro ver), but now will have to use something else.

Used to be good. I originally loved this app but consistently have had issues with it logging me out from premium and not letting me back in (even though it shows that I’m a premium member) so I can use the premium features. Usually I just get it to let me back in when restarting but now it will no longer let me do any premium content at all so I’ll be canceling my subscription and moving on

Quick customer service. I paid for the yearly subscription so I could use on multiple devices and have the additional features. Originally I had a problem converting from the free version to the premium one. Sent an email to support and within a day Nikolay fixed the problem for me.

I love this app but. Does the bolis calculator not work in the US? I remember years ago when I was first diagnosed around 2017 that it was available. Now the app really has no use to me, I only really needed the calculator.

calculator assist. I used to use this a long time ago and now I can’t find the dose calculator. It used to show how much insulin I had on board and gave a recommendation for what to give based on the carbs… even a recommendation for how much carbs to eat. bummed if its gone completely. will improve review if shown where it is

Food database is not working. Paid one year subscription and it seems not much is in the database. Have not seen any of my name brand items. Otherwise, the app is fantastic especially the import and export capabilities.

Unable to Import. I was looking for an app to import my FreeStyle Libre data, but this app would not do so. I did not try any other features as the data import was the major one I was seeking, so I could combine my data.

Not bad.. Very helpful on determining amount of insulin needed for food according to glucose level.

Updating to new version. Will not update to new version. Keeps asking me to update. Takes me to App Store. Request that I open looks like it does but every time I open the app it wants to update again. Frustration.

Fixed access for iPhone 11. I had been using this GREAT app for many years when I suddenly couldn’t access the app. I would tap on the app and it would just sit there. I was devastated and tried several other diabetes apps, but none could compare. I’m glad it works for me again!

Synchronization with apple health not work. Problem sync with apple health

So helpful!. This app is so easy to use and helpful. The many options for entering data as well as a running A1C are a couple of the things I especially appreciate about Diabetes-M.

bug problems. this app is amazing! I love it! my only problem is that now it’s not opening at all. I have to CONSTANTLY delete and redownload the app just to get it working again. I have contacted the support team and the creators, but literally no one has helped.

Crashes. Won’t sync to contour next one, it crashes consistently. Good app in general, full of features

Insulin sensitivity setting not working. I am noticing that the insulin sensitivity is not working correctly. Example: I need the sensitivity to be 27mg/dL. I have to input 1.5mg/dL in order for it to show up as 27mg/dL. Please fix ASAP.

Great for its purpose. I started using this app specifically for the “insulin on board” function but I love that you can track so much more using the app. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that it’s really annoying to have to log my glucose into the app regularly when I have a Dexcom. I often forget to input the glucose readings because I usually don’t have to physically log anything. This app would be the ultimate app for diabetics if you could pair it with CGMs to input real-time glucose readings into the app.

New update for iOS is Bad. Can’t pull up almost foods anymore or just says no results. Had problems before update, even worse now

No more bolus advisor. This app changed our life in managing T1D in our 10 year old. We were happy to pay for the premium version. Now, because of an FDA issue (supposedly), the bolus advisor is gone making this app worthless. I emailed the company for more information and got no response. Without the bolus advisor, this app is no different than all the others.

Stop With All The Ads!!. I have been using this app for several months. I would give this app 5-stars for aiding in diabetes management but as a doctor and medical professional I cannot rightfully recommend this app. Why? The annoying and incessant Ads!!! Here is how it works… Once you enter a glucose reading, etc. and save it, an Ad appears. The best part (NOT!!) is that these ads are frequently videos with LOUD sound. The only way to disable the volume is to make sure your phone is muted. Practically, that cannot be done all throughout the day and if you forget to mute your phone before you enter a reading, get ready to be embarrassed as you sit in your next meeting and some annoying video comes on with blasting volume! 😩 I blame the makers of this app! If all the advertising is in order to be able to provide financial support for this app, make an app where there’s an option to purchase (for those of us that don’t want to be bombarded with the annoying ads)!

Please update app!. I have been using this app for over a year now. I don’t have many complaints except for the freezing. I bought the premium edition of the app and I enjoy it however I wish the app didn’t freeze as much. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Good App. This app allows me to monitor more than my glucose it allows me to monitor my weight and blood pressure. I also like the long graph that shows my glucose readings for a couple of months at a time. I have used other apps, but I like the data display format on this app.

Bolus adviser no working after update. I used to love this app. Now for me its worthless unless the bolus adviser feature come back. Please help. There has to be a fix, right?

I don’t like ads when I purchase a subscription. Now really ? Do you really think I should be seeing adds when I subscribe? And why is it so difficult to link a meter?

My Search…Over!. I’ve tried SO MANY glucose tracking apps looking for the one with the best overall functionality, features that meet my “real-world” needs AND price (being a diabetic is already a drain on the finances). There are apps out there that have an abundance of “pretty” images but really don’t tell you much of anything. I work/live in a busy world (don’t we all) and need a tracking app that keeps up, Diabetes:M fits the bill! This has everything I need and so much more! They all track your readings with a logbook but this is where Diabetes:M pulls away from the others. This app tracks my glucose level, and my insulin injections BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! It also allows for EASY tracking of which finger (and where on finger) I used to draw AND where I’ve given myself an infection. I use fast acting insulin during the day and a slow acting at night, this app tracks the injection locations separately! Let my backup for a second - sometimes when I go to do a finger stick, I forget which finger I used last (I’m sure that’s a me thing because I’m crazy busy and once done with something I move on to something else) but the finger tracking inside this app resolves this issue. Med tracking, graphs and charts let you check your trends, share with care team, etc. It would be easy for me to go on and on because this app does so much! It does what I described and SO MUCH MORE!!! All at, what to me is, a reasonable price!!

Potentially Perfect App. This app would be perfect for me if the ability to set a target for fasting glucose results was available. Sometimes my fasting results are high, but the app will still color them as good, because this option isn’t available. This is the only drawback to this app. I’d love to go premium, but without this feature, I have to consider other apps.

At first I loved the app.. At first I loved the app. Used the free three month promo offered at the time and paid for the premium package that was due. As soon as my payment cleared my bank at the end of the promo period they took away these “premium “ portion of the app and told me I had to upgrade to something I paid for already in order to access what I had already paid for. I am now in the process of disputing this payment with my bank to get my $50US back. DO NOT deal with these people. There are other five star apps out there.

A lot of issues need to be fixed. The app has a lot of potential but things are clunky when it comes to viewing in HTML browsers and basic things like a US date format MM/DD/YYYY aren’t working so I can’t recommend it.

Close to perfect. I love this app. It is so much more functional than any other logbook or diabetes monitor I’ve used. It’s totally worth the subscription. The only issue so far (which I think I’ve seen other comments on) is that two weeks in, I still haven’t received a confirmation email so I can verify my account. I’d like to get that detail out of the way so I won’t be prevented from using whatever functions depend on having a verified account.

glitches. Many glitches. Set the opening page to be the logbook and can't get back to the main page to change any settings. Sent a note to the developers, no response. Info entered in one field showed up in another. Date and time field sometimes change randomly. Food database won't effectively change, gets hung up when doing search after reset.

Glitch somewhere. Just downloaded and tried to create a new account. Every email address I tried to us, I got a message that it was already in use .

Removal of bolus calculator. After the last update they removed the bolus calculator.I used that feature multiple times a day. It helped me gain control over my diabetes. With it gone I am now lost. There are no alternatives I have found. Please fix this.

Helpful but not fully adapted to iOS. Reporting is exceptional. There are some issues with the day-to-day UI, like popping up modal alerts while keypad is posted for data entry, leaving the buttons on the modal dialog obscured. The interface for tracking foods is pretty clunky with results sometimes flashing up and disappearing before they can be selected and returning long alphabetical result lists when searching for a fruit (like peaches) with lots of processed foods preceding the simple peaches entry, which should show up at the top of the list. There should also be a Next button to move between fields instead of having to tap on the next field.

New to the app BUT. It took me 5 HOURS to enter 5 meals in this app. WORST FOOD DATABASE EVER. Search function is practically useless. I was really hoping I could do it all in one app but it sure won’t be this one. Definitely going back to MyFitnessPal for meal tracking. Such a disappointment & a complete waste of money. Also, when I try to cancel my subscription it is keeps saying “try again later”!!!

ADD DEXCOM G6. Add the dexcom g6 with the sideways trending arrow too.

App freezes with recent update. I am a Paid Subscriber for the last 8 years and I used to like this app. It was a one stop medical history but lately, not so much. I put in a ticket back in August, they have never sent a message that it is being worked on and it is still not resolved. With this last update, the screen freezes and you cannot make entries. I am on a pump after years of MDI’s it is important that my info is entered as soon as it happens. I can’t even get into the log book after multiple reboots of my iPhone. I guess it is time to see what else is out there. Save your money. If things get fixed, I will update my review.

Perfect blood sugar levels. My sugars were so out of control before using this app , the app gives you tight control

Nice app. Helps me keep track of all sorts of information relating to my diabetes. However, the last update it replaces my blood sugar with how many units of insulin I’ve given. Considering I’m paying for the app please fix this.

Pretty OK app. Can keep track of a lot of info. I was excited to see a spot to record the cholesterol levels, but sadly for some reason the app will not save the data. So only 3 stars for now.

Bolus Advisor Disappearing. I live in Canada, a place that doesn’t have the FDA. My Bolus Advisor Calculator has been disappearing and reappearing sporadically and without notice. I’ve had to purchase a VPN to ensure the app thinks/knows I’m in Canada. Despite being connected to Canadian Towers. Even then, when I reconnect, it still is inconsistent.

Not opening. This app does not open with the new update, which means I cannot use it to calculate my insulin. This is the only program I use, and I do not have my ratios written down anywhere else. Thanks a lot for running a crap app when it comes to someone health

Unable to pair. My original app was working just fine until it stopped communicating with my onetouch. Help directed me to delete my current app and load a new app. I have not had success in getting it to pair.

Great App. Very detailed only thing missing is 2 things. There is no direct connection to Abbott FreeStyle Libre. This is a must!!!!! Other issues is the body of comment when writing a review on an iPhone you can not read the font colour. It appears white on white if you use dark mode. It is common for eye problems for diabetics so please fix both issues and I will buy this.

Broken. They haven’t updated it in over a year and the app doesn’t work. Constantly freezing all the time. Who has time for that? I emailed to ask them if they’ll start updating again and they never responded. Don’t pay for this.

Not fully working. I as a diabetic educator, LOVE this app in the android devices and I have been waiting for it to be available on apple!!! It's a valuable app for diabetics as long as all of it works and this one doesn't!!! The sensitivity factor calculator isn't working!! I can only get a dose recommendation for carb entry, not correcting!!! Please fix this ASAP and let me know when it is so I can recommend this app to my patients!!

Does not support freestyle 14 day US ver. I try this app but does not read data from the freestyle 14 days sensor so the far i am concern is useless , i read somewhere that the android version does support Freestyle Libre sensor reading if is true who not supported fo apple IOS? Please add support for Freestyle Libre 14 days version.

Calculator gone. Without the calculator the app is not worth the cost. I’m canceling. I feel my $49.99 Renewal was money down the drain. They said temporarily but 7 months now isn’t temporary.

Best diabetes app out there...does work of a pump!. I switched to iPhone from Android at the same time as this app, and now that it has Apple Health integration everything in my diabetes management and communication with my doctor is working together perfectly!! My endocrinologist was amazed by everything this app can do even when I started using it over a year ago on Android, but it was missing the automatic transmission of my BG numbers to my doctor that I can do via Apple Health. I was having some trouble managing my diabetes due to being type 1.5 (LADA) and with the level of stress I'm under as a lawyer, and so my doctor wanted to start real time monitoring via technology. I was willing to switch to an iPhone to make that happen when I saw this app was newly available on the iOS platform, and now that the second version has integration with Apple Health everything is so easy. If you have diabetes type 1, type 1.5, or gestational and are not always using a pump, I cannot possibly stress how amazing this app is. It literally does the work and math of a pump for you on your phone. Absolutely saving my life!!!

Bolus calculator stopped working. Are use this app to calculate my bonus, but here lately the bonus calculator doesn’t work and I have to do it myself and then Internet and all it does is the Apple phones in your system now, but it doesn’t calculate it for you anymore. I can’t find that feature anywhere anymore. I’m not sure why it was taken off, but it makes this app kind a like the rest of all it’s not as helpful and I’m not sad about it. I used to give it five stars but I’m only gonna give it to insist mean feature that really helped me.is no longer available

Crashes. This app was great until two years ago. It continues to crash daily on my iPhone. It works great on Android platforms. I have informed the developer but there hasn’t been any support.

Best of them all. I was diagnosed LADA 2 years ago. Downloaded a bunch of apps in Android and used them all for a month. This one was easily the winner. Then eventually switched to iOS and repeated the same process with the same result. IT'S HARD NOT TO LOVE THIS APP. It's extremely comprehensive, has a complete set of features and enough customization to track carb intake; initial no pill and no insulin treatment; then medication only treatment; then long lasting insulin treatment. And I know it’s future proof for when I start the short term insulin and then the pump. Thank you! 🙂

Entries disappearing. I keep having entries disappear. BIG inconvenience as this does not track correctly because of this.

Locks up on note 4. I have sent reports I don’t know how many times about a note for that I have that I have this running on and I get no support. Absolutely none considering that I am paying for an app that just doesn’t work 35 to 40% of the time you would think after I have complained I don’t know how many times that they would try to look into it and fix the problem. They don’t seem to help anybody who sends them problem reports and tells them what the problem is you never hear back from them. The Apple version of the app doesn’t work the same as the android version of the app it’s very confusing.
