Ability to edit saved rounds from phone app needed.. For us old timers who are still running with the F3HR we don’t have the capability to input fairway hits and putts into the device while in play. Would be beneficial to us if the app allowed you to do this to saved rounds, not while round is in play. I leave my phone in the car when on the course and could then input the data while at the clubhouse. Who wants to hook up to their computer to input the info? In other words, allow users of older devices to play out the round on the device then save it. Once saved we can then edit the round on the app (i.e. fairway hits, GIR, putts). Having these additional statistics means a lot to us.

Has helped my game a ton. I have my app paired with my Garmin Approach S40. I believe it’s one of their cheapest golf oriented watches but works perfect for me. The watch along with the app have helped me track my HCP and stock yardages for all my clubs. Not to mention it’s always fun to go back and see every shot from every round I’ve played. I’ve been golfing for a little over two years but started using my watch and app about a year and a half ago. In that time my handicap go from around 25 to 12 and the app has played a big part.

Best bang for your buck. I highly recommend y’all get Titleist RCT golf balls(for more accurate reads) when using the R10. I just started playing golf three years ago(2020), and I just got the R10 February 2023. I wish I would’ve got it sooner. It’s the best 580 bucks I have spent in years! It’s already paid for itself in the many rounds of golf I played at courses I’ll never get to experience in real life. I use it in my garage as I have the space for it. I enjoy the weekly tournaments against real players around the world. I’ve already noticed a huge improvement on the courses with my short game just by using the R10. Godspeed to everyone on their golf journeys!🏌🏽

Great assistance gadget!. I have been using the Garmin S6 watch along with the G10 sensors and I have compared them with range finders other players have and it turned out to be accurate. I am very happy with the performance of the sensors on the club. The watch works nearly every where. It actually works better then your cell phone service if your trying to use an app. I do recommend this product.

Good app for R10 but could be better. Love the app and practice range while using my R10. Pretty accurate throughout my bag. The app gives loads of data, however something that could make this app 5 stars is the ability export this data to Excel or Jmp. I’m a data guy, and a lot of the people that would put that kind of money out for an R10, are probably data guys as well, that would like to perform data analysis to create metrics and trends to improve their game. Otherwise this is a pretty good app, but could be better.

Really nice app not perfect. I like the app. It works well with my Garmin Approach S62 watch. I don’t like apps that make things hard or complex. This app along with the watch generally makes things easy including shot tracking, club performance (even without the C10 system which I also got), scoring and distance. There are a few minor issues. First it’s impossible to import anything from other apps, so if you are switching you either have to enter manually or start over. Second the standard club lofts are not editable. They’re all wrong for my new clubs. That seems like it should be an easy fix. Third, I used club performance tracking first and then added the C10 system. All my club performance stats seemed to get wiped out. Then the next day the came back. Not sure what happened. Other than those minor imperfections I like the app a lot. Especially for use with the watch.

Garmin S62 and Garmin app is the absolute best!!!. I have completely stopped using my rangefinder ever since I got the Garmin Approach S62 watch and installed the Garmin golf app. The watch is more accurate in most cases, it’s instant, it saves me time, and I can use the extra 15-20 seconds to focus and prepare my shot. I also love how I can track my scores, handicap, distance per club, and utilize the virtual caddy feature on the S62 watch. It is FAR more superior than using an Apple Watch golf app.

Great tool to track improvement. I had various apps and gadgets to help improve my game and visualize it but it got in the way of playing the actual game. I switched over to the Garmin ecosystem and couldnt be happier. I have a S62 and my wife has the G12. That gives us gps ranges and also keeps score. The app syncs our data and lets us see how we are progressing. My S62 also uses the app data to power the Virtual Caddie which is great!

Won’t connect on phone with Garmin Connect. For many weeks, everything worked as advertised. Now, When I sync the Garmin Connect phone app with the watch, the data doesn’t transfer to Garmin Golf. I have to wait until I can plug the watch into my laptop and launch Garmin Express to upload golf data. Once uploaded via the laptop, the round will finally appear on the Garmin Golf app. I’ve tried all the suggestions on the Garmin web site but always the same result. The whole point of the Golf app is to be able to see your round right after you finish but I can’t do this when Garmin Connect and Garmin Golf won’t talk to each other.

Approach S20. I love the stats and shot measuring that it gives me. I love that it’s a watch, and I love the app and website. Occasionally, the shot tracking is a little off, but it’s still great. I do wish that “short” and “long” could be added to the choices for “fairway hits”. Sometimes I misfire and don’t get to the fairway. The choices are fairway, left, and right. Not being able to pick “short” messes up the accuracy of that whole stat. Still, I love it.

No course stats. Been using the g80 for 3 months. Scorecards upload to my iPhone after each round. Also sync to garmin connect on my computer. The garmin golf app shows all score cards and the courses played. I can see each individual stats for each score card but the course stats DO NOT SHOW on the app. I can login to computer garmin connect and see my stats for each course played but I want to see it on the iPhone in the app. I have complained and garmin says they fixed it with the lasted release. NO THEY DID NOT. Also in both the golf app and garmin connect I am unable to get course stats for my playing parters. For the 500 bucks I put out for the g80, consider another manufacturer. Garmin needs to get their programming right if they are going to have those features in their apps and do it timely.

Doesn’t Download from Watch. I always use my watch (Approach S20) when I play. The course always loads, and I enter shots, putts, fairway hits, and penalties, finish, save the round, and review the stats. However, the round doesn’t always upload to the app on my iPhone. It doesn’t matter if I have the app open on my phone during the round or not. I have revised my rating to downgrade from 3 to 2 stars. I played a round today and used both my watch and the app to log my scores, fairways, and puts. The scorecard is the only thing that shows up. It’s the first time I used the app to record the stats, but still no hole-by-hole shots. I have those from other rounds without using he app. I would not recommend wasting your time with the app since it’s so hit and miss if you’re going to be able to review your round. There are many other apps that are much more reliable.

Simple and functional. I’ve been using the Garmin S20 for the better part of year, a friend told me about the Garmin Golf app within the last couple months, I feel like an idiot for not having been using the app along with the watch the entire time. It does a great job of journalizing your rounds, tracking stats and even calculating your handicap. I play 4 times a week, so I’ve developed a large sample size, the app let’s me know how far I hit each club, it tracks historical data where you can look up every shot you’ve played on a single hole over a period of time and it has greatly improved my course management and my overall scores. Great job keeping it simple and user friendly, even old people should be able to figure it out!! Lol

Great app, like the scoring options. Got the launch monitor and use the app to keep score. It has helped me track gir, fairways, and putts to show where I need to focus my practice sessions. I am really enjoying the data driven side of golf. Am a 12 handicap that used to be a 9 am looking for the launch monitor and app to provide some data to help me improve my game. So far so good. I have my distances and am shooting much better according to the numbers. 😀

Below average golf app and trailing other applications advances.. I use multiple Garmin golf devices, S62 Golf watch, R10 Launch Monitor and C10 club sensors for in game data collection. There are LOT of opportunities for these product lines to integrate into the Garmin golf app for much better data collection and followup analysis. Other applications such as 18 Birdies and Golf Shot are advancing technology in terms of player performance for game improvement. 1. Strokes gained per round. Garmin Golf doesn't provide that information. It uses averages over 10 rounds. 2. Strokes gained for specific clubs. Garmin Golf bunches shots into Drives, Approach, Chips and Putts instead of strokes gained by club. I would like to know which club or range of clubs I should work on. 3. In round GPS overview using the phone is far far behind the other golf apps. One can't look at distances for possible shots. That information is available on the watch but that can be cumbersome. Additionally, the overlay is a 'cartoon' graphic where other apps use photos with more details. Overall, while I using the multiples Garmin devices where I do like the concept of a centralized app to collect all my data, this application is in need of a complete redesign to keep up with the competitors.

Great watch. This is my second watch and it is a much improved version than my other one. I have not had enough time to check all the features out yet but so far it works fantastic. Looking forward to learning more about it in the future. Garmin is the only way to go. I already had my buddy get one himself because he was so impressed.

Works great after second round with it. I played the first round and It would not track distances or count the score. But after downloading both connect and connectIQ, it worked. I guess you need to go to a golf course once or twice to let it find the satellites faster. Only thing I wish I could tell it, is if my shot was anything less than a full swing or a bad shot.

Terrible UX for r10. You have to click into each swing when reviewing driving range stats, then switch to the data panel you want. Would be much better if you pick your data display screen and swipe through each swing, or default to the last data panel and open it up first when clicking into a swing. Makes it a chore to click 3 times to switch between data for each swing. User experience for the app is so bad, that im likely to return the device. Also noise from other golfers at the driving range, and varying distance between the ball and device missed nearly 1/3 of the swings i attempted to record.

It works but is very basic.. Nobody else ever on the Leaderboards as they are only weekly - would love to see options for Annual or All Time so it increases the chances of me seeing other players listed. The screen summary for a specific round is extremely basic. Would love to be able to add photos and see comparative metrics from previous games on the same course etc. While playing it would be helpful to see distance to the hole and to layups / bunkers etc, similar to the info displayed on the Garmin Golf Watches. This would help me convince other players to use the app, even if they don’t own the external Garmin golf devices. Overall the app is heading in the right direction, just needs more depth while maintaining the clean UI and ease of use.

Great tool. I’ve only been golfing for about 2 years, I’ve been using my S20 approach for the last 8 months or so and it’s a great tool for out on the course. Just realized there are features to measure shots , hazard distances. Once you are finished with your round , sync it with your app on your phone and it shows all of your drives and approach shots. Tracks your handicap, even compares and tracks your progress with other similar handicaps. It is simple to use and doesn’t waste time during your rounds. Just walk up to your ball, check the distances to the green (3 locations Front , Center and Back) grab your club and swing away.

Swing and a miss! Zero stars if it allowed it.. Couldn’t be more unimpressed with the garmin golf app. I’m not the type to typically write a review about anything. Having said that, this app is soo soo bad, I felt compelled. My father-in-law has raved about his garmin golf watch for years. I finally took the bait and purchased the S62. After setting up the watch and downloading the app AND starting the free trial ahead of the $100 annual fee…I promptly canceled the app after the first round of golf. It syncs with the watch to track your score and that’s honestly about it. The fact that the same GPS distance data isn’t available in the phone/app view is nuts. Compared to golf logix, grint or any other golf app…the garmin app might as well be a score card…actually that’s not a good comparison either. A typical paper score card provides more course Intel than this completely useless app does. If your still reading. This app is absolute trash. …so much so that I’m honestly starting to regret purchasing the watch. Thanks Garmin. Feeling sufficiently bamboozled after this one.

Great simulator for the price! (R10). I downloaded this app to use with the R10. I truly believe this is a huge market disruption in a great way. Far superior than Optishot and much cheaper but comparable to the other radar launch monitors. The stats and the 41k courses out of the box are unbeatable. I played the same course right after I got home and got a very similar score (a tad lower due to the benefit of the doubt most simulators give). Was hitting left all day and it showed on the simulator. Best purchase in a while.

Serious problem for shot tracking. I have been using this app along with my s42 and T10 for than 6 months. So, when it works it’s fine. But, I can’t never get by not editing every round I played. It’s impossible and It’s very FRUSTRATING when it miss track which shot is played at which hole. I often need to spend nearly an hour edit it if only it is allowed. Every once a while it will record all the shots from two or three holes I played in one. So I will have 10+ shots recorded in one hole, and there is not a single way I can change those shots that’s miss recorded to the correct one. They have the gps coordinates why can’t I’ll it just let me move it to the other hole??? The miss shots diluted statistic so I will have to exclude the whole round from the data. I just wish they can add a few more features in the post round edit. I am pretty sure many people have experience the exact same thing I have and they would definitely appreciate it. Anyway, I don’t even know if they read this stuff. I hope some day they will get to it…..

X40 watch. Pros: fairly accurate distance to holes, good sir distance measuring, like the scorekeeping and syncing to Garmin golf app which saves all your scorecards and stats. Bluetooth to phone let's you know when you get a call or text and every other notification which I don't like. Cons: Hazard distances are not good and difficult to maneuver. Can't fine tooth notifications. Seems to be all or nothing. Can only get 2 round on a battery charge. I really do like using the watch had a handheld Garmin gps and enjoy having the device on my wrist and not have to carry it. I don't use the activity tracker so can't comment on that.

LOVE it!. Upgraded my S60 to S62 and there’s no going back for me! Effortlessly tracks stats and gives me information I didn’t even realize I needed. Highlights areas I need to work on and my score and handicap are all moving in right direction. I further added the R10 launch monitor which also incorporated into this app. If I can spend enough time then can even lend to caddy recommendations. Great app and great products associated with it :)

Skeptical at First but Sold. I purchased a Garmin S62 golf watch so I would have all of the information I needed during my round The watch is magnificent and I would not golf without it. I also use the C-10 club sensors which are a great addition to the S62 watch and the Garmin golf app. I find the app useful for reviewing my round. Sometimes I find errors entered by the watch but they are easy to correct. I have very happy with my purchase and the Garmin golf app is a great compliment.

Love this app, please include a Left Handed user setting. I love this app with the Garmin Approach R10, comes with tons of golf courses including tiny municipal courses and executive courses. The interface is great, this should be a 5 star review, HOWEVER…. There is no left handed support at all in this app. I am using with a ball flight tracker to improve my swing mechanics but I have to mirror all of the visual data in my head. I’m sure the interpretation of the ball flight data is favored towards accuracy of right handed shots, and I’m ok with that, but the user interface visuals should be easy to add (literally just mirror the images) and I am sure the left handed community would greatly appreciate it! Hopefully this happens at some point then I will be happy to change to 5*

Severely Disappointment. I purchased the Garmin R10 launch monitor and this app is the companion to that. First, the device is wildly inaccurate. Definitely NOT worth the money. Any positive review must have been paid for. Second, this app looks to have been designed by a child, and not a very intelligent one. Pretty much all launch monitor software will show you almost all of the important shot data right on the screen, front and center. Not this one. You get three pieces of data. Now, you can choose which three, but come on. Three is a joke. Especially when using an iPad and there is plenty of screen real estate. Garmin falsely advertises that you get to sim courses for free where other launch monitor charge. That’s b.s. You get a one week free trial, then you have to pay. None of which you can do from their app. All there app is, is a launch pad into all the other apps from third parties, aside from the feeble driving range app. That one is all on Garmin’s head.

Best purchase ever. Wanted to start golfing more frequently and this watch helped me do just that. I’m not the best golfer but having yardage on my wrist atleast started helping me understand my clubs better and what to swing when. Watch also tracks direction of drive (left, right, straight) and number of putts which combines with other rounds to produce summary graphs and analytics. Shows improvements and trend analysis all which is way too much for a casual golfer but really cool to see. Best part is the gps tracking which tracks where you’re shooting from and how far your last shot was. The Watch turned out to be way cooler than expected

Garmin Approach S62 is the way to go.. It’s been about three years since I got my Approach S62 golf/sports watch. Never once have I regretted owning it. It’s accurate on the golf course, provides great feedback real time, and keeps such good data on all my rounds that I wouldn’t trade it for any other system. And then there’s the customer service department. Never once have they had any trouble answering any of my questions. They are my go to guys. My golf buddy has one, too, and he loves his Approach S62 about as much as I do. It just works like it is supposed to. That’s what I say.

Useless. Does not map shots accurately. I have a Garmin Venu. I bought this $400 watch instead of a cheaper Fitbit because I loved the golf features. Except that the golf app is horrible. It shows all my shots, and even the flag, as being behind and way to the right on the map. I’m a bad golfer but not that bad. I cannot even see what my drive distances are because the tee where the distance is shown is off the screen. You cannot zoom in/out, feels like a 2007 app. Btw, I reached out to support twice about the issue, never got a response. I have deleted and redownloaded both the connect and golf apps multiple times. I cleared the golf course cache on connect. Nothing has helped. If I could return the watch and get arccos instead I would.

S20 Garmin and App. Wow, what an impressive golf watch. Had a sky caddie for several years until the function button quit working. After long search and reading the reviews, looked like the S20 garmin had the edge, it it does. This watch finds courses and satellite signal super fast. Most impressive is the communication with the App. This makes golf real cool, seeing your shots, distances, and performance stats. Really enjoying this app and S20 combo.

Cool app but needs more features for the cost of the watch. I switched from an Apple Watch to the Garmin family. The golf app is lacking and competition is catching up and utltize the Apple Watch as a input! The animation of the course is very unwellming. Scoring is pretty easy from Tee to Green but entering putts can only be done post round on the app! I like to review the performance data post round for areas for improvement! I would like to see more data by Par 3, Par 4, and Par 5s. I really wish Garmin would connect to the GRINT or other scoring and tracking apps to easily input scores and performance stats. I will say the Garmin watch is an upgrade over the accross inserts in every club! Don’t plan on putting inserts in my putter and wedges!

Glitchy. I like the app and will give 5 stars once this glitch is addressed. I’ve had my Approach 20s for two weeks now and have played around 10 rounds with it. I’ve enjoyed the watch and app when they’ve worked together. However, my last 3 rounds, while saved in the watch, did not migrate to the GGolf app. First of all, I’d like to see my score from yesterday as I didn’t keep it on a card. At this point that whole round is gone. Secondly, I’d like to see where I need to improve. A handy feature when the watch and app work well together. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I’ve turned the watch off/on. Disconnected reconnected the Bluetooth. Disconnected reconnected the Garmin connect app. Tried syncing both GGarmin and GConnect app to watch several times. I get notifications from phone to watch. I see my steps and “activity”. It’s only the scorecard that doesn’t sync. Without that it makes the watch good for distances only. Which is not worth it. Please fix this issue!

I’m liking it a lot.. I mostly use the watch for information, but it’s good to have the app as a back up and a secondary source of information. The one thing that the app needs to do that it doesn’t do is track more swing data from the sensors that you put on the clubs. Right now it can give you the club distance after you walk it off but I can’t give you any intelligence like swing speed over club face angle.

Vegas Dan. I own a lot of Garmin products like dog training collars, GPS unit, Instinct watch and more. When I was informed about the Garmin Golf App I decided to connect it with my Fenix 5 watch and was not disappointed. Garmin makes everything easy to learn without having to be a computer programmer to make it work. I can keep my score easily as I make my way through the course and then review my stats at the end of the day. I love that it tracks your club performance with just a little bit of extra effort to enter your clubs information. Garmin customer for life!

What a tease!. When I got my s60 a couple months ago and started using the app I could add/delete shots to my scorecard when the round ended. Then after a recent update they removed this feature from the app but you can do it on the website. Also now when you delete shots that assigned to the wrong hole, it removes that hole from the scorecard for editing. The score and stats for the hole is there but you just can't view that hole anymore. Does this on both the website and the app. Also wish it would show all your clubs and the average distance like the website does.

Simulator is half baked. Bought the approach R10 and set up my indoor simulator setup with projector. The HUGE problem is that the simulator only works in the app. There is no way to use on a computer, there is no option to stream directly to a smart device (Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, etc), and the absolute lowest option isn’t even available either in the fact that you can even put the phone in landscape mode and mirror the phone. The ONLY option is the mirror your phone in VERTICAL mode. So you have a tiny vertical iPhone screen in the middle of your TV or projection when you cast/share your screen to smart devices. These are such basic things to iron out when you spend all this time advertising a simulator. At the very least set up your app for landscape mode! So disappointed.

Inaccurate Course Info CORRECTED. I’ve loved this app for the ability to review and track my play. As a member at Vidanta Golf Course in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico, the Garmin Golf app is extremely accurate for range. The issue I’d had for quite some time have been addressed and resolved very quickly, once I found the proper avenue via their website. This is easily a five star app.

Great when paired with S42. I recently bought an Approach S42 and it works very well with the app. All I did is pair it with my phone and off I went. When you get home from the round, the app has all your shot data and overlays it on the course making it very easy to see where things went wrong or right. The only thing I would change is to make the place to find course data a little easier to find.

Half Baked. I am surprised this app is rated 4+ stars. The foundation of a good app is there, but the execution is half baked. For this app to really be of use from a shot tracking and playing statistics perspective (which is what will help golfers improve) here are some much needed improvements Garmin should make: - The ability to edit the number of putts - The ability to add custom clubs beyond the stock list (7 wood isn’t even a listed option) - Tracking basic stats like sand shots (see other successful golf tracking apps like GolfShot or The Grint) - Edit shot type (full, punch, chip, etc.) so a 40 yard 4-iron punch shot out of the trees doesn’t impact your average distance and caddy recommendations - Optional satellite images of courses rather than just poorly drawn images Without features like this, the watch is basically just good for GPS. The shot tracking features are all mostly worthless. If that is what you are after, Arccos is a much more refined solution.

Not a frequent reviewer. I really like this app. The interface with my garmin watch are good. Not great, but it works. Distances are a bit off and not completely sure which way. And I’m talking about tee distances that I hit my driver. The course distances are solid. But sometimes I hit a drive and it tracks to the ball. I see the number. But when I review my round; I have a different number. Sometimes more. Sometimes less. I don’t really care about that really. My point of having this is to play on the course. It works well for that. Somehow though; I am never asked about my putts as I give my hole score. So at the end of my rounds; I have no putts recorded. Not sure how to fix this. As I get better; it’s kind of important. It also doesn’t ask fairway hits or GIRs. All this should be inputted each hole. And the watch never ask for this to be imputed. Maybe you can help me with this

Great gadget. I have the S20 for about 2 weeks. It took a little while, about 2 rounds to figure exactly how to use it. The yardages are close enough for my caliper of play. Much better looking down at my wrist than hunting in my golf bag for my Range finder. After the round it’s fun to see a diagram of how far and which club was used. It also took the place of my fitbit.. The fitness and sleep monitoring is right on.

Garmin Needs to step up its game!. I have used this app for two years. When Garmin decided to take all the golf functions off of Garmin Connect and link them to this app they RUINED it! It is more or less useless since all it does is record your rounds. You can get the same function using the GHIN app and at least that app will give you useful stats such as GIR averages, putts per round etc. This app won’t even give you hole by hole averages even though the data is right in it easily available. This tells me that Garmin couldn’t care less about its golfers using its hardware. I like using my Vivoactive HR for golf and its golf function works well but the app supporting it, this one, is a loser. Step up your game Garmin!

Essential tool for golf. I’ve been using the S60 approach for three years. Absolutely love it. Courses appear and load quickly. Yardage, image of the hole showing where things are, and scoring all work well during play. The new feature on scoring is nice- yardage is available to the end and you decide when to input score. After play- I can review every hole on the app to see where I went and how long the shots were. I can even review previous rounds. Best golf purchase ever!

I love the Garmin golf apps. I have been using my Garmin S20 with the CT10 club sensors for the past few weeks. The hardware, software and gps system have worked flawlessly. The system is easy to use, works very reliably, is clear and simple. I have used similar products that missed shots, got confused, posted incorrect data and often distracted me from the game. Garmins system never distracted me and provided useful data at appropriate times. I love this product.

Love This Thing. I’ve only played 5-6 rounds with my new Garmin S60, but I totally dig it. I love having yardages in my wrist at all times, so I don’t have to pull out my phone or scope every time I need a distance. It also syncs really nice and gives you a great visual overview of your round on your smart phone (Garmin Golf app). I have 58 y/o eyes, so was a little curious how I would read it w/o readers, but it’s fine for me. Couple minor drawbacks: Plenty of juice for one full round. Touch & go on that second round, though. I keep a battery brick in my bag, just in case. Also, you can zoom in a little and check yardage on that bunker or Creek, but it’s a little clunky for that. Not a smoothe pinch in/out for zoom. All in all, definitely a good purchase. BTW, I think you can get pretty much the same yardage functionality with Garmin’s more basic models for a cheaper price, but I was happy to pay more for the upgrade to Approach S60.

A62 Watch is fantastic. The app is not.. It may work better if all clubs had the CT 10 accessories. However, I don’t feel you should need them to be able to get semi-accurate shot statistics. For example, I accidentally put that I hit a 3 wood off the tee. When I went in to look at the round, I noticed that I hit the 3 wood button. I updated that to my driver, but it still shows that drive as the average for my 3 wood. I hit the ball nowhere near the average 3 wood totals in the app. I have several clubs like that now, but Garmin uses your last 10 rounds, so it will be on there for awhile. No way to manually update it. I really wanted the help of this functionality to tell me how far that I’m hitting each club. It isn’t valuable with all the skewed data. Since the CT 10’s connect directly. They would probably help with this, but I’m not ready to spend that kind of money until the app gets a bit better tracking. The watch is fantastic and functional. GPS works great and the features are first rate. I will keep uploading to Garmin Golf just in case it gets better in the future, but at the moment this isn’t helpful.

Golf stats plus. The S20 provides excellent basic functionality for golfers including distance during round and tracking and reporting of stats after. There were some issues during winter of 2020 when the app wasn’t working and the watch wouldn’t sync with the app on phone which were annoying. However the watch still functioned great on the course. Once the issue was resolved its been working well. Really like the extra functionality features on this watch!

Amazing golf tracking app. First, I CANNOT believe this is free and included in without additional purchases. This has worked flawlessly every time. It not only measures the distance to the hole from your selected tee box but you get a nice vivid image of the layout of the fairway. Very helpful on new courses to know what traps are waiting around the corner. It also keeps score and keeps many other stats. Honestly, I would have bought a garmin for this app if I was just a golfer, but this is an amazing bonus when it is actually My running watch

Always Improving. I’ve been in the Garmin universe for years via cycling, running and other outdoor activities. Took up Golf… and delighted by the Garmin support. Recently added the CT10 club/shot tracking sensors and it has simply completed the picture perfectly. Knowing the distance to the hole on the app and Garmin watch is great in-game, but now having this remarkable post-game shot by shot review capability is stunning. For those that love to work on improving, and enjoy using metrics to do it, Garmin have delivered a total package that really delivers. Garmin continue to be a leader in outdoor sports and this great, easy to use app is no exception. Highly recommended!

Garmin Golf App. Great App, easy to use.

Great app. Been using the garmen app for nearly 3 years and find it brilliant. I also bought the c10,s for the clubs to enhance the usability and it brings it to another level. I never have to enter club I hit as it’s done automatically so the whole round is recorded. There is a small bit of editing as some shots don’t get recorded especially the first tee. Once the round is finished I can review everything and my performance overall over all my roundsor performances per course. The way forward for this app would be to team up with golf metrics for strokes gained as the current system isn’t very clear but I can see my ranking against my handicap but to not much data. Swing u have a good strokes gained analysis giving handicap score for each element of your game per round so you can see what to improve on and to give your coach an overall view of your tendencies. With Garmin it’s good but I think it can improve in this scenario. It’s not a major issue and the stats are good enough but after using the other apps this would tie in easier with Garmin golf watches and club sensors as this tech is best I’ve used.

Keeps crashing after latest update.. Was working perfectly until latest update to 2.3 and now won’t open. IOS 15.3 installed and no difference……..otherwise has been a great app.

Great app. Really holds you accountable and helps inform you on what parts of your game most need improving.

Jan 2023 update no good. Pan and zoom works but the default hole map is TINY and there’s no ability to “move shot location” (the option can be selected but then it actually can’t be done). Previous version was absolutely fine - this update is wildly unnecessary and far less user friendly. Hopefully the bugs get ironed out but GARMIN aren’t known for their good customer service.

Course update for Craigieburn Golf Course. The Craigieburn golf course has been modified please update the Garmin app accordingly…. Why is it not up to date?

Royal Port Moresby Golf course change. Enjoy this app and use it often. Could you update the Port Moresby golf course as they’ve recently change the back 9. 15th now becomes the 10th, 16 now 11, 17 now 12, 18 now 13, 10 now 14, 11 now 15, 12 now 16, 13 now 17 and 14 now 18.

Stopped working. Recent update has meant that this app will no longer open on my Ipad. Not sure what is going on!

Stats and Strokes Gained Needs Work. It would good if the strokes gained showed up as overall performance to your round like most other apps in terms of total shot impacting your overall score from each element (currently gives you a weird decimal which doesn’t correlate to the real world or 0.33). Also need to advance the app stats feedback like driving accuracy. Currently this is only available on the Garmin watches, which I have, but I would like to look back and review the rounds in the same detail on my phone later.

Update to Connect removed statistics. Very disappointed at the latest update, which removed from the Connect app all the hole by hole statistics that were highly valuable. The statistics in the Garmin Golf app are aggregate only and so are of minimal use

Won’t open after latest update. Won’t open after latest update

Continual crashing. This app was great until the recent update. The app now crashes around the 5th to 7th hole on different courses I have played. This has also been the case for my playing partners. Please fix this issue!

Love this app!. Great app, has really improved my golf game. Would be awesome if there was a function to measure shot distances before shooting. I.e. to determine distances of bunkers etc.

S62?. Does this app link with the S62 golf watch?

Good app with basic stats. Enjoying the app. But would like a little more detail in your stats. Like missed greens short long left right etc like how you have for fairways hit and also up and downs and sand saves. There’s heaps of extra stats but only available with garmin club sensors. Just allow us to add those details in during our round the same as we do with putts and fairways hit.

Good enough app for free. Does everything it says it does. It’s not seamless but is good enough 1 feature I wish it had was for me to connect with my friends who also use the app to see their scores.

New update has issues. Loved the app but new update has bugs. Course front 9 and back 9 are around wrong way. Shot tracker on map no longer working. Very frustrating as won’t work into stats from previous rounds to compare.

Was a 5* potential. When I first got my s40 watch, it was the BEST thing ever- then they did an update to the whole operating system and ruined everything. The watch is now unreliable, you have to constantly tell it what to do and when to do it. Please please PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FORMAT !!!

Great app. Works well with Venu 2 watch.

Impressive accuracy. I’m impressed with the accuracy and features of the App. I’m new to the S62 so still learning how to edit shots. Haven’t found any shots of pitch or above missed, but as to be expected does miss some chips. The process of reconstruction after the round actually has the benefit of forcing you to review and reflect on dumb decisions. One good decision was buying the S62 couldn’t be happier.

A20 time setting poor. I travel a lot and go through different time zones. The automatic time does not work so use manual setting. To change the time I need to press ok, down five times, ok, down seven times, ok, down once, ok, ok, set hour, ok, set minutes, ok, either down or ok for am/pm, back four times. Given that this is the second most used function it would be sensible to change the menu tree to get to manual time change quicker and easier. Alternatively have the watch sync its time from phone since they are able to be linked

Recent update has big improvements. Latest update has added the ability to edit shots on your phone (rather than having to go to the website). Lots of info about each shot (lie, club hit, result), add shots that weren’t captured, move shots that were captured incorrectly and accurately place shots onto the green. Still seems to be a bug if it doesn’t capture your approach shot to the green as you can’t add putts, so you can’t add a shot into the green if it thinks your approach landed in the middle of the fairway.

Scorecard enhancements. It would be awesome if scorecards included distance and stroke index.

Great App with Approach S60. Great app, love being able to see my shots & stats after the game. Be good to have some more on course editing & functions eg Indicate when you wish to take a shot or remove a shot. Overall good value 👍🏻

Not really an improvement. Does not seem to improve things at all. No longer has the Long Drive function

Needs different game options. It is a relatively good and uncomplicated app. What would stop most golfers I’ve spoken to from going to another app is the option to select other round types. For example Stableford, probably more common than stroke for most golfers. Would love to see this on an update. Mitch

Terrific App with the Approach S40. Great app, syncs easily with the S40, just enough info to be useful without distracting from the pleasures of golf.

Ok but stats could be better. The app is ok and does the basics well, given the amount of data it collects would be good to a simple filter on club performance last round, last x rounds, date range. Average since the beginning is not overly useful

Love my S20. Simple, stylish, easy to use. I was wondering what it would be like when my wife bought it for my birthday. Now I don’t take it off.

Using Approach S62 coupled with C10 club sensors. Loving the amount of data I’m getting from my C10 sensors linked to my Approach S62 watch. I can see current and past performance for all shot types as well as a pretty picture of every hole played! Brilliant Garmin just Brilliant!

Great App but has faults. Can no longer edit shot location. This morning it picked up wrong tee box.

Good but could be great. Working on the Fenix 5 and functionality is very good during a round. Shot tracking could be improved by enabling the user to indicate when they are about to hit a shot and/or particular club (i.e. by manually hitting a button). I’m sure this won’t be everyone’s preference but would be good as an option. Will save lots of time after the round editing shots and estimating where the shot was hit from. Would be also good to review shots hit on a satellite layer to ensure greater precision. All in all a good product, but a few tweaks could make it great.

Shot tracker not displaying. I just changed from Fenix 5x to Fenix 6x Pro. I’ve played two rounds with the new 6x and recorded my round and saved. All I get is a scorecard. With the 5x I got individual shot tracking displayed in Garmin Golf and was able to edit shots and add club data. The app had been excellent until I changed but now it’s no more effective than a pencil and paper scorecard.

Not really accurate. Starting to realise my Approach S60 is not as accurate as it should be. As much as 15 meters out. Have compared it with my range finder and other players range finders. It’s only good for data collection now. To be honest even that is questionable. For putting stats, what is the length of a short putt, or medium putt, or long? Not good enough for what is paid.

Garmin 6pro for golf. What a wonder accurat device, working perfectly with my golf distance. Since i start using it my golf have improve because i now have the correct distance to each green and i know now how far i hit each club in my bag. Thank you

Great App. I have been using the Garmin app for a few years. Easy to use and it gives me information to keep track of my activities, golf scores etc.

Garmin fenix6s watch user. Love garmin fenix6 series and all the analytics it provides with this app.

5 stars. Great app, makes it really easy to compare past games and track progress. I’d highly recommend any advanced, intermediate or beginner to use this app.

Need iPad Version. Really disappointed that this app isn’t offered in an iPad version.

Garmin Best App I have ever used.. Pinpoint accuracy. Easy and friendly to use. Saved a lot of money by purchasing the G80. Great battery life. I highly recommend the G80.

Charlie. I love Garmin golf very much, I have improved my score since using it. Thanks so much to Garmin golf team.

No landscape mode. Not having landscape mode on a golf simulator app is such a massive oversight it’s unbelievable. Otherwise the app seems fine, but hitting into an impact screen with an image that’s 1/12th the screen is terrible.

Prefer the white ball tracer. I like the update, but I find that the old white ball tracer was easier to see compared to the coloured thinner ball tracer. Especially further away where I usually have the phone mounted at the range. Would be nice to be able to change the ball tracer color.

Great app to have!. Have an S40 now after having an X40. Works much better with the S40. Along with the Connect app, they tell me more than I need to know!

Concept great, but stopped working.. The app used to work really well but over the past 2 months it has refused to download any rounds, rendering it useless. Rounds get lost in the ether. I’ve tried everything but no luck. Time to move on I think.

Great app for the avid golfer. I really like using this app. It’s user friendly and gives you good data to work from. I have my s62 paired with the ct10 sensors and it’s made score tracking a breeze. The only thing I would want more is to be able to classify (lost ball lol) immediately after the shot so you don’t have. Does Garmin make ball trackers? Lol

Leaves a lot to be desired. I love my garmin watch. Great for tracking shots and yardages. The app does not match up unfortunately. I use the premium version of hole 19 and have used golfshot in the past. Both apps are way better for tracking and displaying stats. The garmin app is not very user friendly and the layout is awkward. I’d gladly pay an annual fee to have an app of similar quality to the ones I mentioned above. Love the watch, app needs an overhaul

Not enough we buy your device?!. Greedy!🤑🤮

Very Helpful. I learned a lot about my game.. Between my Vivoactice 4s and the C10 and the app it’s definitely helped my game. . Been able to see where I am losing strokes and where my game needs help. The only problem I have my watch does not record all my shots and I have to manually enter. Been very happy overall and my game has improved because of Garmin.

So much potential. They have so much potential to compete with the other golf apps, but they’re software execution in the golf space feels like a total afterthought. As a result you get what feels like a bunch of hastily done or half baked features that are kind of “meh”. I’m annoyed by the unrealized potential.

Great App. App works great for my game. Stats are fun to look at and see if I have improved. Usually haven’t but still fun to look up.

The latest upgrade has regressions. I like the app. But the latest update created a big inconvenience. The functionalities added are fantastic though the UX change is questionable. Now we cannot swipe left and right to change data screens in driving range sessions - we must click on a button then select the screen to look at. This is a horrible change, feels like going back to the 1990s in terms of usability. Please fix this.

Garmin golf. Nice app work great lots of info

Doesn’t work. App does not work very I reliable

Great app. Easy app to use and it provides good stats.

Need landscape mode support. App works well with R10 unit but lack of landscape mode prevent me from projecting the golf courses and driving range into the screen. This feature is definitely needed in order for me to justify monthly subscription of other features.

Awesome app for fun and game improvement. Garmin Golf app paired with the CT10 trackers and S40 watch have taken my game to a new level. Skill wise I’m so much more accurate knowing the distances for shots, and what my clubs will give me for range. Fun wise it’s a blast reviewing my rounds (and good or bad shots) through the app. Five stars for sure.

Don’t waste your time on the R10. Absolutely horrible device. Have been using for 3 months and has turned into me almost using it as a golf ball. Results are incredibly inaccurate and inconsistent if it even picks up a shot. Would leave 0 stars for review if it was possible.

Simply the best golf/activity/health/smartwatch. This is Simply the best golf/activity/health/smartwatchon the market. It is accurate, interactive and wisely intuitive. The battery life and fast recharge times are nothing short of amazing. The fast start upgets you out the course in minutes. Later, read the manual and be blown away by the Garmin S62 ‘s capacity and capability

S10. Did not know about my s10 watch being blue tooth. But it had all my rounds saved and shows a lot of info! Also my handicap which is nice. Still no data about my where and how far my shots are on each hole but hopefully it’ll sort out now that I have the app

Useless. It’s fine when it functions, but far too often it won’t even launch. Another broken update. Maybe test it a bit before you release it?

Lack of ability to download data or i put putts/hole. I can’t download my stats to figure out things like , how often do I 3 putt ? I also can’t input Pitt locations or the hole location to measure putting stats like make % at different distances

App Is Unpolished But Has Potential. This golf watch phone app is good, bit the UI is so sh!tty. The ability to add notes would also be nice to have, but I don’t see that happening.

Best free app for golf. This has been one of the best free apps that I have used in golf. It was easy to pair with my phone and track my yardage. As a mid to low handicapper this app is extremely helpful. Can’t wait to try it with Garmin ct10 approach.

Stops Working. Freezes up. Not sure why but after 8 holes the App freezes and stops working.

Great overall app. Good feed back on courses and golf clubs enjoy using

Problems using Fenix 5x with this. Frequently my golf scorecards don’t load into Garmin Golf for no explicable reason even through the activities show up in Garmin Connect. I use a Garmin Fenix 5x watch. Contacted Garmin support and they could not help.

Excellent. Parfait comme application, surtout avec la montre Garmin. Vivement les capteurs sur tous mes bâtons.

Good start, but missing some key features. Got my Garmin s42 and was really excited to start playing with it. The watch works great and although it takes some time getting used to - it really works well to make scorekeeping and distance finding easier. My main critique is on the app - the main points I feel are missing: 1) the app should show you where you’re on the course during your round. It helps visualize what’s around and seems fairly basic since both the watch and app have gps. Sometimes going to the phone helps dial the distance a bit to a hazard. 2) The strokes gained high level trend statistics are ok, but I really want to know how I’m performing on a hole by hole basis. Maybe add the stat of strokes gained on the summary section when reviewing my post game shots?

Version for IPad. With IPad, number of putts per hole and totals are not available. Why is it working only for IPhones?

Home Tee Hero. Downloaded the Garmin Golf app to pair it with my new Approach R10, very happy with the tracking and current features. However I took a star off because I find the lack of some features that I feel would be easy to include as competitor apps have them warrant the loss of a star. I would really love the option of opting out of following the ball in the air as it totally removes my ability to tell how the ball is tracked… surely a option to choose wether you watch the ball from where your shot, or track it mid flight would be an amazing addition. Also features such as hole in one challenge, playing specific holes or even choosing front nine or back nine would improved our quality of life. However the simplicity of pairing the device out of the box and getting onto a local virtual course was amazing. Almost all of my locals plus many amazing courses available to use. Many are very accurate in layout however some lack elevation accuracy. The graphics of the home tee hero on course and range are simple and beautiful to look at. It is a hand held device app therefore I am not expecting amazing graphics and resolutions. But the cartoon aspect makes me happy and the colours are beautiful and overall experience is amazing. I consider the features to be fairly priced as the amount of courses I can play is amazing. I will continue to practice and play many rounds alone and with friends for the rest of the winter and can’t wait to take this to the range to get some dialled ranges for my clubs 4/5 because of lack of features: Viewing of shot tracing options Hole in one challenge Playing specific holes Live Multiplayer I hope that these features can be added soon.

Great App. Easy to use. Great stats.

Love it!. I’ve tried a lot of different Apps and ways to track Golf performance, handicap, club yardages etc. The Garmin Golf App paired with my Garmin S42 Golf watch has been by far the best option I’ve found. Highly recommended!!

Paired with Garmin S62. I love the way it tracks everything.

Good. Pretty good, except one of the holes on the course I play on is different then the in the app

Impossible de se connecter. Depuis septembre, l’application est très lente et ne me permet pas d’enregistrer mes parties de golf. Aujourd’hui, j’ai essayé de me connecter. Impossible?!!?!

Works Very Well for Keeping track of Stats. Seamlessly connects to Garmin devices and keeps track of analytics as long as you plug them on your watch during the round. Ability to update your stats after the round is the best feature. Detailed graphics for each hole, help as well.

Very disappointing. I was so exited to get a garmin watch but the app doesn’t work with the garmin s10, the one I have The app is now useless and I could only leave 1 star, I would have left 0

App. Great app! Thanks

Love it. All is good, no complaint. I would like to compare my games scoreshandicap with all garmin golfusers

Won’t allow download. It won’t even let me download the app

Great Golf App. Great way to track your game and see where you can improve. Always show distance hit and distance to go so it’s easier to choose the right club. I now know my handicap. Enjoying the game again with the assistance of this app.

Solid. Zero complaints

S62. Amazing feature for me is that it tracks and stores every shot and it’s distance in pictures so you can go over every shot in every round. Lots of fun after the fact.

Great tool for any level of golfing. I always used Garmin on the links and when I got the Approach S40 I decided to use the mobile app more. I must say that it gives me great insight in what part of my game needs attention and which one is getter better. A must have for any golfer

Very good - but could be great. Excellent set of features tied into Garmin device ecosystem- my S62 watch and CT10 sensors really help track the specific aspects of my game. I only wish the selection of clubs were more extensive (no 7W or 9W options, and limited wedges- a gap we don’t see in Arccos offerings) and the responses on Support Forums were more timely. Still- looking to add an R10 monitor to maximize value for the excellent app.

R10. I bought the R10 all shots are short indoors using any Garmin software..I have to use E6 to be able to play with adjusting correct altitude to get correct distances..Due to chip shortage this would be a great time to fix software and add putting and club head speed and other requests your customers have suggested..Thank you for a great product and will be looking forward to any additions you could make,,,,

Driving range simulator: bring back swipe. I as much as I like new features that were added to the driving range simulator. I am disappointed that the swipe right feature to review the different aspects of a single swing was removed in the most recent update. Its extremely inefficient having to click into the menu to view the different aspects (video, launch data, impact data) of a single swing. The change makes accessing the data I purchased the launch monitor for difficult to navigate to. Not sure who decided the change was a good idea. But they must not be a user of the app or a golfer for that matter.

Excellent Golf Aid. This watch is not only impressive looking, but highly functional. It greatly assists me when I am on the course. The only setback is that the lock sign comes on all the time and I am constantly fidgeting with it to enter my score. Otherwise, it is excellent.

Every golfer needs an ap like this. I’m old-68- played golf since I was 12. Been a 6 index forever. My point: that whole time I’ve never really known how far EXACTLY a shot goes. With this ap, I now know. For each hole, for each shot. It’s helping me hit more greens in regulation. It may help you too.

Garmin S10. I have the Garmin S10 which does not have Bluetooth capability. However the app is still worth it. Rounds will be entered into the app when you sink with your computer, or you can enter them manually. You can also make edits if need be in the app. Totally worth it even without the various bells and whistles the higher level Garmins offer.

Weak golf app compared to shotscope or arccos. Love the S62 watch and bought the C10 club trackers to go with it. App is weak, though. Ability to revise incorrectly tracked shots is difficult to use and buggy - sometimes you just can’t fix a shot at all. Strokes gained compares your performance vs PGA and your current handicap, but doesn’t allow you to compare versus the handicap you want to get to. Would love Garmin to invest more in enhancing this app to match the quality of its devices.

Lots of potential- not ready for prime time. Few major functionalities are missing making this app unusable. You can’t edit scorecards like you can on the website and it doesn’t show you the shot information (Garmin connect app does). Until this app has equivalent functionality as the Garmin connect app don’t bother. Also a it would be nice if it calculated your handicap. Lots of free apps do this and there is no reason Garmin can not provide it.

Even works on old models. I am very pleased to be able to see all my scores. I have the Approach S3 watch which thankfully still works. I love that it shows a handicap for me which I like to use as a benchmark. I have this app on my iPhone and iPad. It works well on both.

Underwhelming. It shows the layout of the hole, and you can keep score with it...not that great otherwise. Does not show distance from hole, only syncs with your device when you manually sync with it, the course layouts are low resolution. Just very not impressed overall. I thought it would be in constant sync with devise to show a map layout of where you are in the hole if you needed more information or detail on occasion than you had on your Fenix or Approach.

Could be so much better. It syncs your rounds with your Garmin golf watch but it could be sooooo much better. Examples: - editing and deleting shots recorded with the auto caddy feature is very cumbersome. Impossible to delete all the shots in one hole. Adding a tee shot also impossible. - statistics are so basic. Could provide so much more insightful information and have more creative ways to filter based on last six months, etc - if you accidentally record a shot with the wrong club, it screws up your averages and the only way to fix it is to go hole by hole until you find the errant shot and delete it. No way to get to all the shots recorded for a club across rounds, etc Hoping for a rewrite or a new major release soon!

Great app!!. I’ve enjoyed learning everything that the app does and it’s been more than I could have dreamed. It really helps me to think on the course and make good decisions. I shot my best score of 80 using it the first time. Now I’m am going to go lower!!!

Can’t do without. This app is the best ever. After each round you can sit back and review every shot and club from your round. The pictorial representation of each shot and the club stats will help you improve your game.

A little more interactive. Overall easy to use. Just wish there was a little more information available on my watch(it’s an all around watch, not a golf only watch), and wish you could input more stats info on the app. Hard to keep track of other stats on scorecard and sore on watch/phone.

For use with R10 Launch monitor and home tee hero + range. Great app but lacking in information. For one, I cannot enter the club I am using when playing a round in the home tee hero. Also cannot go back and see shot by shot stats or even get an in depth diagnosis that you can when you use the watch in a real game. Second, if your friend plays they cannot use their own account they only can play as a guest.

Love it. I’ve been using this app for the last year and really enjoy it, it works well, the only difficulty is sometimes switching between courses and I’ll have to delete and reinstall it but besides that it’s a great app

Great app. Love the app. Starting on the back 9 sometimes makes the app hard to use. Doesn’t show distance only the scoring part, if you don’t start on the front 9. very useful thou.

Great app. Love that it keeps my strokes and distances. Haven’t been able to play a course that isn’t already pre-loaded on the watch, which is a huge plus. The only thing I would love to see is an overall course map.

I love this app!. Received the approach S20 as a gift, and was told to download this app to go with it. The information you get back on your golf rounds is incredible. So much useful info to help you in between rounds, and improve on your golf game. Plus you can re-live your round later and see mistakes and wins from the day. Coolest golf accessory I own!

Not bad. There are things I like about this app. The shot info is helpful. Shows the drive distribution and best yardages to the hole for me. What I don’t like is the lack of editing available. It would also be nice if I didn’t have to sync to get my round info. I’d rather see it in real time. Also if using a watch the course stats are unavailable. This to me is the biggest drawback.

App slightly ruined for R10. The interface to view shot data was horribly updated. In the prior interface, you could swipe between data pages. Now you have to open a menu and choose a data page. This was a horrible UX update that makes it frustrating to use. In addition, the R10 doesn’t read draws at all. Super frustrating, even with RCT ball.

Won’t show my text messages. This watch is my first golf watch, and seems to calculate yardage well and functions are easy enough to use. I’m disappointed that alerts including incoming calls show up BUT my text messages don’t . I’ve tried troubleshooting online and it seems that this is a problem with this watch.

Needs Data Features. Garmin, please add some functionality to look at aggregate data more easily. Let me slice and dice the data so I can get some more meangful insights into my practice. When looking at my r10 sessions I shouldn't have to click and swipe into each individual shot to see key data like club path. Thanks

Love the app!. I really like the scorecard feature, distances and the download to my phone. On the phone app I can see each shot and distance in the hole by hole function. It collects tons of data, putts fairways stuff like that. Only thing i wish it provided on the scorecard is the hole handicap for betting and games purposes.

Great app. I have been using this golf more than 3 years now and I love this app, I can go and look at all my score from last 3 years and it is very easy to use while playing and track my numbers after the round.

This makes golf more fun!. While playing, my S20 has every course I play on and is very accurate as to distance. This computer app makes reviewing your game and score most interesting. It is unbelievable how it shows the course and all the shots you hit. Get the watch and app!!

Great App!. Used this several times on different courses. Each time gave consistent distances against a buddy using a scope. Courses are already loaded so it’s use is easy. Highly recommend. For reference, used on a farming Fenix 5x.

Taking strokes off my round!. I got out today with my Garmin and it’s already helping my play and score better! I’m hitting the correct club more often. It saves me the from hunting for sprinkler heads! My wife got this for me for our anniversary and I told her I never need another gift as long as I live!

Fenix 7X lost connection mid-round and will not reconnect. My Fenix 7X is connected to the Garmin Connect app, but will not connect to this Golf app. It was connected for about 6 glorious rounds of golf, but the app rebooted or something mid-round, and now the watch shows up in the list of devices as being registered in Garmin Connect but not connected to the golf app. I’ve tried rebooting the phone and watch, deleting it from Garmin Connect, uninstalling both apps….nothing works. Come on Garmin, fix this.

My Favorite purchase of my life. I’m a 45-year-old man. Honestly, this is by far my favorite toy that I have ever owned. I’m still learning the game modes but it has checked all the boxes so far! Thank you Garmin for making a quality affordable sim!

Great app. The app can track pretty much any statistic you may ever need. It works great with the R10 and allows you to get club data that other way more expensive units do. I hope that next updates include a better interface so it works better with the iPad.

Garmin golf with x40. Overall accurate and easy to use. Some issues with club tracking of you forget to select your club between shots. Would be good to be able to edit or delete errors in club selection so it doesn't impact average distances

All the needed stuff.. I love that this app isn’t overly complicated but can take data collection just about as far as you want. I love the app and how you can scroll back through shots to see where you landed, which club was used, and distances, etc. it’s very useful.

Great App and watch. Very easy to pair with S40 watch. Love being able to review my round and look at overall stats. Having handicap tracked is nice plus being able to look back at scorecards again before playing the same course.

Amazing app when pair with the watch but missing one BIG feature. The scores don’t submit to GHIN. I would 100% give 5* if I didn’t have to transfer my scores to GHIN each round. All my other apps support that feature. All in all, love the garmin golf package.

I.O.S. Update. My app hasn’t updated scored in a week and since I was on vacation I have several rounds not recorded. The other day I received a pop up that said the developer (you) needed to update the app to be compatible with the latest I.O.S version. Is this accurate information? Will you be updating soon? I’m using an S20 watch.

It’s ok. They should add gps to the app so you can see the distance to any point on a particular hole. Yes, you can get the yardage to the green on your watch and to some hazards but it would be helpful to get a more detailed look on the app. I wish they had more statistics. Just seems kind of basics. I’ve used TheGrint app for a while and there’s a much better breakdown of stats.

Garmin S20 Watch. I can’t imagine playing without my Garmin golf watch. I do wish they’d let you select the fairway hot as soon as you hit the shot, rather than waiting until you finish the hole. Also, let us specify left, right, short or long on all shots.

Love my garmin. I have a s40. That’s the one I chose. It’s not to big and packed full of tech. Does not hinder your swing at all. I have tried other brands to bulky but this watch is perfect. Great battery life and tons of stats for latter on the app. I do recommend and will but it again if I have to.

Doesn’t show distance to doglegs. This app is user friendly and I like how it shows distance to the front, middle and back of the green. However I do not like that it doesn’t show distance from the tee box along the hole. I have to estimate how far it is to doglegs and bends around the course.

Thanks for the update, but requiring internet to accept the terms?. 1) Updated license: My app got updated in the background and when I got to the golf course the app demanded I accept new terms. Well, that is OK, but there is poor coverage at the golf course so I couldn’t accept the terms… Which means the app is stuck… Not awesome. 2) UX need to be redesigned to use bigger fonts. Some are so tiny. Considering the demographic of who plays golf a little consideration is warranted.

Landscape mode is a must!. I have been using the app for the R10 and specifically Home Tee Hero. While the graphics are very cartoon like, I can deal with that. However, no landscape mode is a deal breaker. I am using this for an indoor simulator with a projector and the fact that only a sliver of the screen is filled due to no landscape mode is disturbing. Update the app with this simple feature and I would increase my rating.

Very Nice App. Syncs easily with the Garmin S62 watch. Score card feature is great to keep track of your progress, at both a course and hole specific level. Club tracking works well but no data available for chipping a putting without adding the CT10 system.

Very happy with my Z82 & app. Everything works nicely together. The scorecard feature became easy to use after a round of fiddling with it. The only thing I’d like to see is the information in my rangefinder come up on the app so you can get a basic idea of what you’re looking at.

App works great. Especially with the watch. Been using the approach s40 this year. Paired with the app it’s great. During the round the distances are accurate. Keeps score well, gives you your handicap and allows you to go back and review the round. Big fan.

Great App for Shot Tracking & Statistics. I’ve now used the Garmin app and Approach S60 watch for six rounds and LOVE IT! The app does a great job of shot tracking and keeping statistics of rounds. The watch is phenomenal. It does so much and is very easy to use. Because it does so much you have to take some time to learn how it works. But it is very intuitive. Great products!

$1k of devices and an awful app/support. This may be the least attractive and buggiest app for golf that exists. You would think all that money for pricey gear would buy a decent ux/ui. Constantly tracking errant shots, wrong holes, etc. Latest is a magically long drive (false) that Garmin support tells me I need to go through all my past scorecards to find and delete. They can’t help. A needle in a haystack. Garmin support has ALWAYS let me down. Their basic mo seems to be solve it yourself.

Great App. I own a Garmin S12. Very basic but easy to navigate and gives users most anything we could want. I am really enjoying the scorecard that is on board. When you reach the green the watch prompts for the score. Reviewing my scorecards on the app is fun to do.

Perfect caddie. Have used for a year and rely on it for every round. The statistics are meaningful and easy to understand. Thanks to the scorecard graphics I have learned to manage my rounds more effectively. Lowered my GHIN by 4 strokes. A must have for anyone serious about improving their game.

Garmin approach s62. I love the garmin golf app and the watch. The only simple concern I have is looking at the weather on my watch asks me to open the app to refresh the device. Is there a way to have it auto refresh? All in all, love the watch and would definitely recommend.
