Exactly what I was looking for. All the other phone photo editors I could find before were very limited in what they could do. Just preset filters with stickers and minimal effects. When I found this app, I was skeptical to be sure, but hopeful. To my upmost delight, it has layers...and masks, even without paying a cent! There’s a decent amount of things you can do, but like all good programs, it’s better if you pay, and I definitely appreciate that there’s different plans to fit different budgets. However, there’s probably no need to pay if you’ll only be using it casually. There’s still plenty to do without it. I’ve only started to dabble in the possibilities, and I’m excited for what I can make. It’s no desktop photoshop, but it’s the best program I’ve been able to find for iPhone, and I plan on using it for years to come.

Upset about the Update, can’t start from blank canvas. I use Photofox for more than just photo editing and I personally believe it is the best app on the market for editing. I don’t like the fact that in the update I can’t start a new project with a blank canvas instead I have to start with a picture and then go Darkroom settings and alter the Offset setting just to make a white or black canvas. That’s very annoying. It seems like you reverted that part to the basic Enlight app settings and I don’t appreciate it. I feel like your trying too hard be a photo editing app when you can just be an overall editing and graphic design app. Don’t try and please people by taking away parts of the app that make it unique. Please add back the feature where I could start a project with a blank canvas and choose the size of that canvas. SMH.

SOMETHING's WRONG.. (UPDATED). So, I subscribe to their One-Time Purchase (since I'm a long live Enlight user before Photofox arrived), and for me this app is such a mess. Here's why: 1. With the updated version, I'm no longer be able to transform Elements (ex: transform circle into oval, etc, since there's only 2 options which is flipping and rotate). There's no corner points, just like to transform a photo. (Update: to transform the elements, you must convert the elements to be a photo, I think its not a pretty clean process 😅) 2. IT IS A SCAM!. When you use "One-Time Purchase" as a term, it means that I pay to use this app with unlimited access for lifetime. But your app tells me that all the access only available for 10 years. Is that means I should pay again after 10 years?. New Update: I'll give this app a 5 star, if they can resolve the second problem, to make sure that Its not a scam for everyone. Take a note that I've paid the full version of Videoleap, and there's no problem from its end. (Yeah I'm that Mobile Creator, sorry 😅).

No back up options. I would give this app five stars because it’s been awesome especially when it comes to editing photos. BUT there’s no back up option, you can only save the final piece to your device but if your device fails or gets lost or broken, there’s no back up of all the work you’ve been editing so you can’t go back and modify anything, you just have to start fresh with the next device. This app would be perfect if you allowed us to back it up to our devices and navigate existing edits from one device to another, like I want to be able to open it up on my iPad and then also if I don’t take my iPad with me, I could later open it up on my iPhone and finish editing it. Please please please update this feature!

Stop Changing It!!!!!. Why do you always change the UI the interface the editing itself how setting work why there’s no point and everyone you change something you remove something else and make it so you have to pay for your subscription, Here’s a idea bring back all the stuff that I could use to edit 2 months ago and maybe I can actually use your app but in its current state you’ve taken away everything I had so now it’s a pile of unusable trash to edit with good job all your apps like VideoLeap and Photoleap are by the same developers and all of your editing apps do the same thing stop it I had to quit using VideoLeap even though I loved it because I can’t spit out $35 for your “Subscription” why do you guys ruin everything just stop it already all your apps used to be so good but you take everything and put it behind a pay wall and wonder why no ones using your app. 1 star trash company fix yourself. I do not recommend any of these Leap editing apps they aren’t worth anyone’s time and certainly not there money

Please Read PLEASE!!!!!😳🫨. So this app is great but it needs a little bit of help in the ads. It says that you won’t have to pay for anything after you’ve gotten the app but it turns out you do have to pay for it. Somethings you use it makes you pay for him. somethings you do use that don’t make you pay for them, but that’s only a few of them but pretty much other than at that, the app is great so that just really needs some help because in the ads it said that there wouldn’t be anything else but there are no ads at all and the time that I’ve had it so this app is pretty good. I’ll give it a four because it really helps, but but that just needs help so after they help that they should be the perfect app sort of

Takes up a lot of memory if not Careful. Love this app! I use it just as a simple photo editor. I haven’t got into much of the combing photos together features, etc so this is really just for editing basics. I did notice my phone memory was very low and couldn’t figure out why. Comes to find out each project you open in Photofox is Saved in the app. I had 670 projects saved in the app- after I also saved each individual photo on my phone. Photofox doesn’t have a way to multi select projects and delete in bulk so I had to individually delete each of the 670 projects one at a time. It would be great if you could add a feature to multi select those projects and delete. After deleting each project I added 50% of memory back to my phone. So it does take up a ton of space if you don’t remember to delete the projects when you’re done. Other than that, I love it 😊

Free trail was canceled and ended and still charged card!!!!. Update- I absolutely received a free trail. Im not sure why the developer responded back saying that it’s free. Whatever I signed up for the app gave me a 7 day trail. Anyway I did end the trail but was still charged. I reached out before I left this review via email. Someone messaged me back. And processed my refund for me without question. I still think it was weird how I was charged. My free trail ended yesterday. I made sure my subscription was canceled. I never was able to use this app for what I needed it for so of course I would make sure the free trail subscription did no carry over. I go to my subscriptions and canceled it. I go to the app and it listed I was not in any subscription. Why was my card charged yesterday afternoon??? I have been emailing f them. Talking with my bank smh. Plz do not download this app. I have not heard back from anyone. I would not be this upset even if I did use the app but I couldn’t even do that! There is no number to speak to someone only email smh I need my money back for a mistake on the company’s end!

Almost perfect mobile photo editor. Let me start by saying I’ve been using this app for years. I love the tools it offers and ease of use. The eraser tool is like no other where you can have multiple layers active and erasing and go back and restore them at anytime in your project. No other app I’m aware of has this ability and it’s the reason I stick with it. The tools are great and constantly improving the ability to save your work and come back later without losing anything is so great. You can save edits forever and come back to them to make updates if you need to take a break or waiting to make changes later. A few things I would like to see added. More fonts, let me import my own fonts. Shadows on layers, I often cut out people and put them on other backgrounds but I don’t have a tool to add shadows. Or maybe I add a sticker or object and I want to add a shadow effect. More layers for better phones, I went from and iPhone 10 to 11pro and I was hoping for more layers. But it’s still limited to 12 layers. So I end up having to merge layers to be able to keep editing. I’ve had some photos that went beyond 20 layers. Giving more layers or giving and option to support more for phones with better specs would be great. I love the app and I plan to use it for a long time. Thank you

Pathetic. I bought the old enlight app and loved it, I was on it all the time so to see a perfectly good app get taken down made me curious so I got this one and everything seemed all well and good until i started trying to add multiple layers of pictures and text and I was very disappointed to find that the only way I could do this was to buy the pro version. Now me being a 16 year old kid doesn’t want to pay something like $70 dollars for the pro version when previously I had an app that I had no complaints about. It’s honestly sad to see companies get this money hungry, I have already payed for the first app and can’t use it not even knowing if I got a refund for it or not, now I have to put up this this app that will charge me every time I click a button. I think it’s pretty unfair that I was forced to switch apps and then pay an insane amount of money for something that I already bought in the first place. Although nobody will probably see this and I know this won’t make a difference I had to vent somehow so thank you,

Research. So I looked up 1 time purchase for the best of the best being adobe (actually ranked 2; but can be used on multi platforms so that’s number 1 to me) which is $699 following the same model as lighttricks; a subscription to keep a low price which was aimed at students. After seeing this my previous thoughts of cash grab was altered; due to that I don’t have powerful computer just a iPad 2017 model; price seems fair cause I can produce great results. - 1 star support link goes to void and can’t animate a session but you can Enlight 1? And remember lady and gents companies pay other companies to inflate their ratings due to this and actual people don’t take the time to learn the product; you have to take the time and do research and come to your own conclusion.

Just Amazing. I’ll be writing this review as, well basically a review of all of Lightricks Apps. They’re really just amazing. The level of customization you can get even for unpaid versions of all of these apps are just amazing. For Photofox, it is the constraints of the unpaid version that give you even more power, as you need to work around them and innovate and be creative to make the adjustments you need. The ability to make PNG’s yourself by cutting out backgrounds with the erase tool is worth the price of admission itself. I would absolutely, positively purchase the full version for an indefinite period of time if I could, money is just kind of tight right now, as it is with a lot of people. To the developers, thank you so much for making this amazing series of apps available to the public. We all love you.

Brilliant and yes, the Heal Tool works brilliantly as well!. I am a medical doctor and have no relationship with and have never met anyone associated with PhotoFox. PhotoFox is about as significant as Photoshop and easier to use. If new user follows the tutorials, they will become proficient in the use of PhotoFox very quickly! As a graphic hobbyist, I am as enthusiastic about PhotoFox as I was when I first learned to use it. I highly recommend PhotoFox Pro as it uses layers to alter photos and drawing to create beautiful photo projects. It is these layers that make PhotoFox-Pro an extremely powerful in the world of photo manipulation. I say this as an owner of every other photo manipulation software out there (Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Polarr, Pixelmator, DTF... you name it I have it.) Enlight PhotoFox and PhotoFox Pro are the ones that I use 98% of the time. You are missing out out if you haven’t used PhotoFox. I love it!

This app is broken. Please fix it.. Hello. You recently made an update where you moved the Vignette feature from "effects" to "adjust" but for some inexplicable reason you specifically removed the blur feature, which I'm pretty sure a lot of people including me really needed, and it can't be found ANYWHERE else, not even behind your paywall. What happened? And can you bring it back please? Ok.... your most recent update is completely broken. I make an edit to a photo, but as soon as I click the checkmark, I can't edit the image anymore. If I select it, it selects a blank rectangle in front of it, and the image is somehow stuck to the background now. If I save the project to my photo album, it saves a blank picture with nothing on it. If I discard the project and start a new one, that same image is fused intot he background and when I add any more images, they just appear as more blank rectangles. I used to love this app but it only took 2 updates for yall to completely break it. I hope everybody else has this issue so that you actually think about fixing it. If you can't figure out what the issue is then literally just revert back to the last update. This update added nothing useful - just utter destruction

Not Enlight but still pretty awesome. I have been holding out and keeping Enlight going on my first gen iPad Pro because that is honestly the best photo editing app I have used, for blending images and general quick edits. I feel like there was this sudden push (years ago) to try to force me jump into what is essentially the same functionality but paying to just keep the same thing over and over and over. Now feeling the need to make the leap to the latest gen of iPad I am exploring this app because Enlight is no longer and option… and this is actually very good, not perfect, but as I explore more I like it more and more. I still resent that I can’t just keep using Enlight on the new iPad, but this does what I need it to, and the new AI generator is kinda fun too.

Light tricks iOS 15 Update broke an amazing app. This used to be one of my top five apps on my iPad Pro. I was hoping the update for iOS 15 would include some new features which I feel were missing from the app. Between amazing capabilities of the iPad Pro combined with iOS 15 there was a lot of opportunity missed to do some great updating on this app. Instead they did 3 things! Added sticker, made layers, other then the one being worked with transparent so you can no longer color match among many other edits that require comparison to multiple layers, and broke the snap to frame feature which was so amazing. In the past when importing from photos the import would be made to fit the canvas it was being put it into. Now every photo is imported smaller than the canvas it’s being put on. This makes the snap to frame feature even more important. Instead each layer imported must be manually sized to the canvas it’s been add too. It takes several tries to get the image manually sized to fit the crop area. And usually then it still doesn’t fit perfect. So I’m constantly having to check to make sure there’s no gaps on the edges. If you trying to match up layers precisely forget about it. After five years I’m downgrading my rating from five stars to two and now in search of a new photo editing app

Good to Bad. I started using this app before it’s drastic update, and it’s pricing variant came about; I used it for everything under the sun. While it was free, I grew very comfortable with what was being offered to me, I knew the ins and the outs, and without a doubt I’d finish in 10 minutes or less by simple proficiency. Now that it’s been changed and revised for a ‘smarter’ use, and everything I once used for free became “you must pay to use”, I didn’t find much drive for it. If it was the same app and I had to pay from the start, maybe, sure I don’t see why not. The changes aren’t in favor for me, and honestly I use it far less frequently than Photoshop on mobile. I wish it was the same app, but it isn’t. I’d give 5 stars, but perhaps if you didn’t turn what was once free into a must pay to use what we gave to you once before freely kind of app, I’d have an incline to return. We all must make money, I understand that. But taking things given for free and then making us buy what was given to us isn’t the path to go. Many new users wouldn’t understand that, but I know.

Use for AI generated art, but okay for image tool suite also. Because I use it for AI generated art, that is where my review focuses. Pros: The AI art is pretty good. So good in fact, that I’ve paid for a subscription to continue to use it. It’s got good response and relative good detail to images. The AI is good and the art styles are varied enough to give plenty of room for different images to prompts. Con: (only one con, but it’s a big one imo) However, of the AI art apps use, this has the lowest resolution at 900x900 with no room for bumping this up. Because it is an image manipulation tool, you are taken from the AI interface to the image editor for output which has options for higher resolution or quality…but that’s just not so. Regardless of bumping up the output, the image resolution and quality remains at 900x900 which is a bummer because there isn’t much you can do with the exported images. Compare to another of my AI art apps, where I was able to export and print a 20x30 poster with no discernible graininess. You just can’t do that with this kind of low res image. And that’s really unfortunate because the AI generated images are really fairly good. Also have used Dream AI (thumbs up), Wonder (thumbs up), DaVinci (thumbs down)

Absolute gem of an app. Even without the new AI generation / selfie features, the app is absolutely 5 stars. The editing, effects, and especially enhance are top notch. The improvements to the Enhance feature are incredible and I’m finding myself just running slightly blurry photos through it to see how it handles them. The old enhance would change faces but now there are settings to just apply the resolution / sharpness aspects of it without the correction, which is a great feature. It was an easy decision to go lifetime membership for me and I look forward to any new features and honestly just enjoying what’s already there because this app is the real deal.

Changing my rating from 1 to 4 stars. OLD: Forced subscriptions with a free trial period aren’t the same as free. I don’t mind trying out an app to see if I want to purchase features, but don’t force a subscription on me. The developer responded, and they were right and I was wrong. But I was wrong because the way to get free use without a subscription isn’t intuitive. You are given some options for starting a free trial, after being promoted with a few questions. Rather than signing up for a subscription, you can hit the “X” in the top right corner to bypass a subscription. Not exactly new-user friendly, but once you figure it out, you have access without a subscription. Like the app! Minus one star for interface obscurity on trying it out for free. Fair?

Update?. This was* my favorite app, I used it for everything. I paid $4.99 for it at the time of download and had access to everything. Then out of nowhere I get some notification that they’re changing it to this, Enlight Photofox, and that the original Enlight is being removed from the App Store. The new app is priced at $7.99 a month. I can’t even use the old app because it barely works anymore. I’m really disappointed because this isn’t what I signed up for. I would’ve really supported this company had i not felt a little ripped off. Good thing is that the free version includes MOST of the same features as the old version. You can use the other features in different apps that don’t charge monthly, it’s just disappointing to have to pay a subscription price after the $4.99 and using the app, suddenly for it to be revoked. Otherwise, Enlight was a great app and this one has most of the same features.

Most Powerful Photo Editing App. This is hands-down the best photo editing app I’ve used on iOS. It’s powerful like photoshop on your computer. I’ve been using it for years and I absolutely love it. You can do practically anything you want and it comes with a great selection of presets and filters. It gives you the ability to customize practically any photo. A few things that I would change: 1.) the opacity of the eraser tool feels like it goes from “100%———80% —0” so it’s hard to find the right middle-range opacity. It feels exponential rather than tapered. 2.) Don’t change he too much. I’m still getting use to the updated UI. It has been taking me a long time to find the the “add element” button (is it still here?) I liked how the layers worked in the last UI and how easy it was to add one. . 3.) Add more fonts. (The selection is good so far but also I would love some more Asian fonts and stuff) 4.) Add “replace color” please! 5.) A way to lock the zoom. For example if I’m zoomed into a photo to edit small details I want to be able to lock it. Don’t simplify it to make it easy. It’s seriously the best most powerful app for photo editing! I love it so much and like the smart cutout features you added for face, clothes, etc. There is no better photo editing app.

THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL APP!. THANK YOU SO MUCH! This app is the best photo editing app I have ever used... No watermark (That’s a big thing for me cause it drives me NUTS when an app is cool but they have a huge watermark and you have to pay tons of money to get it removed), WONDERFUL blending and other options even without Pro, not saying you shouldn’t get Pro, it has MANY other amazing features!, and it’s just the best. I DEFINITELY give this app 5 stars! It’s so awesome- especially the competitions! THANKS YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Keep on making AWESOME apps just like this one! This is good that I am actually convinced I should get the Pro! If apps ask “Pay to remove watermark” and all other stuff... I just delete the app. I don’t want to waste my money. But this app... My money will be worth it! Thank you again, wonderful creator(s) of this app!

Hate it.. I have been using the original Enlight App for a long time and I love it. Then one day I get a message saying they are no longer going to support the product I paid for and that i need to switch to their much more expensive app. I finally decided to shell out the cash and after a couple days using the new App, I hate it. The UI on the older app was much more intuitive. It was easy to explore and simple to make quick changes yet powerful enough to perform complex edits when required. Granted the new app has more options but it is not nearly as easy to use. Also, the new app deletes the photo EXIF data. This is unacceptable and makes it completely useless for what I need. In speaking with customer service they advised they had to get rid of the original EXIF data due to issues with the new iPad OS. This is not true since i have other photo editors (Affinity for one) that retain the original EXIF data after an edit. Thank you Apple for giving my money back.

Just got the app and I can’t even explore. I downloaded this app just minutes ago to see what the rave was and started playing with one of the AI filters. The second picture I tried to edit it wouldn’t allow me to see the filter I clicked on. Instead, a message popped up saying “Even AI artists have limits. I’m too busy for new commissions, so I’m giving priority to to Pro users” then gives me the option to either subscribe or not now…. Great way to advertise to new people. I can’t even explore and play with the app to see what it’s about without having to pay a ton of money just to test it out and see what the options are. Not to mention all the comments about how people have had this app for years and now all of a sudden they’re being asked for even more money than what they have paid and can’t use things they have used this entire time. Seems like a rip off to me. Deleting the app off my phone asap.

SUPER IMPRESSIVE BUT. Not gonna waste time for u to read this, this app is amazing i love the impressive ai it really impresses me the speed and quality of it, i would give five stars but one thing that annoys me is the app gives u a limit on how many things u can make and although i do understand for you guys to make spme sort of money by introducing premium and have infinite i think you should keep the whole premium thing but instead of a limit; every time u use the ai to make images and stuff u must watch an ad, instead of having annoying limits a day, just a tip i think that would make u guys money and not lose users since it would annoy people they only can use the app with a limit everyday and force them to pay for premium which eventually makes them want to leave overall amazing app would reccomend and rate again if you do indeed remove the limit!

AI isn't even good, but costs additional to subscription. So, I've been paying for this yearly for a while, and so when AI was added, I was happy to try it. It wasn't good. All limbs, appendages of persons or animals have always come out distorted, missing, to many of them, misplaced parts, etc (ex. 3 arms, one leg, tail on a head, and forget ever trying to get a correct picture of a unicorn that doesn't look like a darn monster) but hey, it was just another function included with subscriptions in the beginning, and still fun to play with even though you could never actually use any of those monsters it created. Then AI took off on social media, and suddenly this really bad AI function is no longer included in paid subs, it's an additional cost. And it's crazy expensive when it doesn't make anything useable. I'm mad. And I'm looking for a new app. I take that back, I'm looking for replacements for every single app in the bundle I pay for and I'm ditching this company for taking advantage of it's loyal paid users. Shame on y'all.

Almost photoshop mix. Bummer this out competes with photoshop mix by adobe, this is a great app, and if you don’t know adobe products you will be super impressed, maybe even if you do, there are many similarities. Couple big drawbacks are: when you buy the full thing, you have to buy this and the video leap separate. They also only let you set canvas size in pixels, which is a bummer if you are working on something for print. The magic brush tool was also superior to their “auto cutout” tool, which means for fine work, you have to tool around a little. Not being able to save in more formats in the app is also a bummer. But overall, this is way easier and more strait forward than even photoshop on the computer, so for new users it’s a great application. Great UI and UX, simple and straight forward.

Aggravated that I’m being forced to switch from Enlight OG. I’m sure Enlight Photofox is great and all, but I enjoyed the original Enlight and back then I could just use it after paying $4.99 and that was that. Now they will be dropping support and removing it from the appstore so if i have to reset my phone I lose an app I paid $4.99 for and now like most developers in this age of micro transactions its subscription only so how is that a fair trade? If I’m being strongarmed to eventually upgrade then as a previously paid customer either the pro features should be free or at the bare minimum the subscription HEAVILY reduced. I love Lighttricks apps, don’t get me wrong, but I’m feeling a bit screwed over and gonna get ripped off for $4.99 in the end. If this is the common business practice these days there’s always more reasonable apps to switch to with a one time paid price. I get the whole “subscriptions incentivize new features” thing but what was included with enlight version 1 should be made available to users like me and any extra features I could buy in app as a add on...

Avatars problem. So firstly, the D&D avatars work way better for men than for women. I’m getting the same face as people that look nothing like me (female) which I can find on socials AND the ads from the app itself. About 2/15 creations look like me. I tested with male pictures and about 6/15 have faces that are dead ringers (some faces are meant to have exaggerated features to be fair). The paid avatars are bull for two reasons 1. You pay for styles, which are random and you cannot select what comes out 2. I get generated photos of males when I select female and use images of a female that don’t even have the face of the person in the photo. 3. Same problems as the D&D but a bit higher on the ratio of faces that look accurate about 2.5/10 for each style. I did get some photos of men and some that generated photos of other races (that don’t have the face in the picture). The other features seem cool, but I give two stars for charging and not allowing you to select which styles of avatar you want.

App Update Problems. So I use this app a lot with my Page I manage and it helps out a lot! It is one of my favorite apps out of all of them! But since the new update I am unable to Text and press the done buttons! When I go in to edit, it lets me type but it will not let me push the done button and go back to the picture to finish the project! I am extremely disappointed because this is the only editing app I use and I feel I am going to have to download a new one to use! I’m not a fan of the other ones because this one has more I can do with it and I also know this app better than the rest, which makes it easier and quicker for me to finish my project! Please help me figure out this problem and get it resolved so I don’t have to download and learn a whole new app! Other than that this app has been great and easy to use! If I could just figure out what is going on I will continue to use this one!

Best creative app I’ve found.. Photofox is a great tool for enhancing photos, as good as any out there but where it really shines is when you want to do more. I work in photoshop professionally and wanted to find a app for IPhone that would allow me to work on photos and graphics in a similar way. After trying several others I downloaded Photofox’s free version. I couldn’t believe what ‘free version’ of Photofox could do but when I upgraded to the paid version I was amazed. From photo enhancing, to making memes, to creating works of art, Photofox far exceeded my expectations especially at the price. I don’t mean to say it is an equal to Photoshop’s but with multiple layers, an eraser tool , prebuilt effects, lots of presets, a title tool and a little creativity you can do a lot.

it's a good app. dear lighttricks, i think you have a great app but there are two HUGE problems that have made it unusable for me. 1) you STILL can not duplicate a project. unless maybe i am missing something? i'd love to know your reasoning behind this. it seems ridiculous for a photo editing app. is it to encourage us creatively? lol. so basically it is impossible to have two alternates of the same project unless you literally build both projects from scratch. please help me understand why. 2) there is an ad/suggestion for videoleap in photoleap now. i have videoleap. i love videoleap. i would love to not have an ad/suggestion to import my photo that i'm working into videoleap. i can do that myself. honestly i wouldn't mind it that much if it was at the end of the list, or even halfway. but as the very first item in my list of tools... it's infuriating. if there's some way to get rid of it for people that already have and use videoleap, PLEASE DO. I miss using this app but my 1st issue makes it impossible to use it for real work on the go, and my 2nd issue just annoys the crud out of me, which is not how i like to feel when i'm editing. if anyone from lighttricks took the time to read this, thank you. i hope you can pass on my critique to someone who is willing to listen. you've created something great, and it's a bummer for tbe rest of your team that your dedicated users are needlessly frustrated.

Could be better. The app has so much to offer and so much potential, but right now with just starting to use it I honestly don’t foresee myself continuing to pay a subscription fee for this. The limitations it has seem so um dumb (for lack of better word coming to my mind). For example I can cram the whole picture but not the individual pictures within with the current layout I’m using. The add text feature is by far the worst and seems so insanely archaic. The blending tool or option won’t let you blend with a brush it’s just a basic sliding bar. The cutout options are a lot and I mean a lot but yet you can’t change any other the shapes just their sizes, so if you need and oval you’re not going to get one but if you want a triangle with pentagon or star in it then yes that you’ll find 🤷‍♀️. I’m like yes this is kinda cool, but meh maybe not worth the money.

Love it but one problem. I love this app, it’s the best, best photo app I have ever used and have had but I want to use a lot of the stuff you can use but u have to get the pro or whatever it’s called to have all the editing buttons, so I was like ok I’m going to upgrade my app to have all the stuff and then I saw how much money it is!!!!!😵😵😵😵😵🤯🤯 for a photo editing app!!!!! I get it this app is so great but if u changed it to where u can get it all for 5 bucks, more people and I would definitely would upgrade this app, but if all u want is money 🤑 that much money then no thanks I will just keep my little bit of editing buttons but over all it’s great but I would definitely change the fact of how much money🤑🤑 u want from us to upgrade this app, that’s the only reason I gave it a 4 but if u change that one thing about money, it would definitely be a 5 or even higher

Old Enlight was better. As many others have said, I was using Enlight religiously for several years and it worked perfectly for all of my needs. As minor as it is, it’s one of the only places I can intentionally invert colors as a filter. I downloaded the app again after maybe a few months of not using it only to find the UI changed so much I no longer knew where to access any features and the ones I needed were now listed as paid for features. Even if some features had been locked, I could have maybe swallowed that pill if it was the same familiar Enlight app that I had been using for years and knew my way around. However having to basically pay for a complete different app that doesn’t even fulfill my needs anymore? It’s not happening. I’ll find a different app if I must, but I deeply regret that I’ll no longer be able to use the familiar Enlight app I’ve been loyal to for years.

Almost Pro. It's a great app, I use it all the time for serious graphic design work on the go. But it's missing a few key features I'd really love to see. Guys, can you please give us the ability to turn snapping on and off?!? Can't tell you how much time I've spent wrestling against the snapping feature try to place a layer where I want it to go. Seems ridiculous it's still not an option. Have you tried your own app? Because I can't imagine using the app even once without experiencing the frustration I'm referring to. Also, it's missing some important blend modes like linear burn, add (although plus lighten comes close, misses sometimes), linear light, difference and exclusion. And although the heal tool works great most of the time, it won't work on any surface that's pure black. This aspect of the tool is more limiting than enabling, though I get why they did it this way. Maybe an additional stamp/clone tool to compensate would be in order? Also, the "urban" art feature is cool, except all the background images are in lo-res. C'mon guys, really ?? Very least it should be possible to import your own hi-res images to be used as the background. Lastly, you should be able to use a layer as a mask, or even import a photo that's converted to b&w and used as mask, the way "Union" by Pixite does it. Add these features and it's the perfect platform worthy of any price!!

Solid as it gets. Anyone who gave a bad review only complains about the price. They never complain about the app’s functionality, features, or anything other than the $4/month Pro version. Let me tell you this, those reviewers are poor saps who want everything for nothing. These reviewers are fools and tools. For what you can do, in terms of editing features, for such a small price, and short learning curve, this app is by far the best I’ve used. I also love the Facebook private community and outreach campaign the company stirs up via their social marketing. For $4 bucks a month I get the most out of it. If you’re looking to edit just a couple images for a lame IG account, then get something else. For real professionals, amateurs, and editing enthusiasts, this is the rockstar of apps.

Bloated and stop trying to make me create an account. I loved this app when it first hit. I enjoyed it so much I paid for lifetime access. I don’t do that much nor do I pay for apps much. But I used this a lot. Over time it just keeps getting more and more bloated and continues to try to get me to create an account and use other software made by the devs. So few things. 1. Don’t continue to advertise to people who spent that much on lifetime access to the app. It’s just gross commercialism. Or let me opt out of the continued advertising. 2. Stop trying to get me to create an account every time I open the account. I WILL NEVER MAKE AN UNNEEDED ACCOUNT. Ever. It makes me not want to use the app when I have to click out of a few pages to get to the art I have in progress and just want to jot an idea down in the image to work on later. Again let me opt out. And if you force account creation I’ll stop using the app. There is no need for me to have an account in a mobile photo editor. 3. Please put more time in to making the features in the app better and not just bloating the main screen and menus. Why do devs alway change things that were fine? The UI was fine. The older filters that were taken out were great. Don’t make it harder to find filters/options/etc. It’s a good app, but like many other companies, just going down the wrong path in their development model.

AI features were awesome until recently. Okay, first let me say I love this app. I’ve had it and paid full price for it for years and it’s been awesome. When they rolled out their AI features, I started toying with the AI transform tool, using it to create a rendering of what my home would look like if it had a second story. The images it produced were flawless! I shared a few of them on my social media and people were floored with the quality of the AI images. When I tried again just a few short days later, idk what happened but when I would use the same AI transform tool to create new renderings for my home, the images came out awful and that specific tool has been awful ever since. My phone and the app are updated, so idk what happened. I’m hoping it’s just a bug that gets fixed because I really hyped up this app to everyone I know!

Update: features fixed. Back to 5 ⭐️. Looks like it was a bug that the team fixed. All the filters look to be restored on the AI text/sketch to design. Back to loving it!!!! I decided to try the trial and ended up going ahead and buying the pro version, purchasing the year subscription.. then all of a sudden, the filters for the AI text or sketch feature dwindled from about 12 different ones to only 3…???? And they are terrible ones at that… Not at all what I had tried out when using the trial. I don’t know if it is a bug or if that “doesn’t come as part of the pro-version” I paid for… since I can’t find any information about the features provided once purchased.. I really liked this app- one I was willing to spend money on, which is NOT something I really ever do. And a big part of the reason was due to trying out the AI feature and being able to play around with the variety of filters they offered.. To say I am a bit disappointed and confused would be a bit of an understatement. I’d really like to know what happened

Was great until asked to buy again. Loved the app. I’ve used it for a couple of years. People like me who bought it when it was getting on its feet are the backbone of the app. Now I’m being asked to subscribe in order to use new updates and some features that I have always used aren’t available unless I subscribe or pay a one time fee. I feel I was duped and tricked. How can you sell someone an app , the paid full version, and turn around a couple years later and ask them to pay more money (actually an absurd amount for what other apps are now offering for free). This is the first review I’ve ever wrote because I generally don’t rock the boat, but this is completely unfair. Shame on you for taking my money so the app could grow and then take away what I paid for to start with and ask for more money for the initial features and future features. I’m sure I’ll get a response of “we’re sorry you feel this way.” When the response should be “Thank you for buying our app and your account is now open for you to enjoy all our features because if it weren’t for people like you who backed us when we were small , we would have never gotten off the ground.”

Waste of time!. So I needed a quick and easy iPad version of Photoshop Elements. This app looked promising, but it was Very, Very, user-UNfriendly. Not intuitive at all. I needed this app to do the most basic of photo editing out there. I needed to stitch 3 photos together. The only option that I could find was the Collage option. Unfortunately, like I previously stated it was very cumbersome and not user- friendly. Adding my photos to the app was the only simple step, everything after that was a mess. After about 15 minutes of playing around with the options, I finally discovered the complicated, hidden puzzle that allowed me to choose my 3 images for the collage and not use the stock images they kept forcing on me. But all of my images were completely resized and chopped off at the top and bottom, without any options to change it, making the Collage option totally and utterly useless. I found very few tutorials in this app, 3 to be precise and none of them were how to use the app for what I needed to do. I just wanted to stitch or combine 3 photos as is, next to each other. A photo editor should be able to do this seamlessly and intuitively, this app was a complete failure and I cancelled my free 7 day trial in under 30 minutes of use. I would not recommend it.

Scammers. The Enlight team sells you an app, they then update the app making your previous purchase obsolete. You must purchase again to use an app you already paid for. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Enlight Teams response: Thanks for following up and for clarifying. We would like to explain. After the update for iOS 13 Enlight is no longer supported and this is likely what is causing the issue you are experiencing with the app. While it is possible to reinstall the app, coming changes to iOS will affect its functionality and there's not much we can do about this, unfortunately. We have included an in-app message explaining this over the past few months, apologies if it wasn't clear. If you’re looking for the same photo editing functionality you had in Enlight, we would recommend you check out Enlight Photofox. Photofox is the next generation of Enlight, it is free to download and comes with many of the Enlight tools, as well as tons of new tools and functionality. Photofox also includes Pro tools that require making a purchase, but this is completely optional and up to you. In addition, if you purchased Enlight and still have an iOS device, you can access Photofox Pro for 6 months, on us! If you need help redeeming this offer, please let us know. Our sincere apologies again. If you need any assistance on how to use Photofox or redeeming the offer, please reach out to us. We are here to help.

Photoleap wins by a landslide. Edit: had to lower my score because the new Ai anime selfie feature gives an error for most pictures, I’ve had trouble finding any that work unless they are very strictly cropped headshots. The results are in, and Photoleap is now towering over the competition. I’ve got 40k watchers on DeviantArt, I’ve used dozens of Ai apps, and Photoleap is the first and only one of them all to install the Ai selfie feature we’ve been looking for: upload a single pic, and choose your theme. None of this send us 10-20 pictures then pay extra for us to make a pack of 50 Ai selfies you have no control over. Coupled with their Ai scene enhance and photo editing features, not to mention generating art from scratch, and we have a clear winner. It’s not close folks. Install Photoleap right now.

Good features - when they work. Update: Been a huge fan of the company for a long time. Paid user of Videoleap and Photoleap. Photoleap making quick advancements into the AI realm has been great but recent updates have actually caused the AI features to be lackluster in comparison to when AI first appeared in the app. With that said the AI transformation layout is lackluster and rarely creates images and if it does they are usually terrible AI looking messes. Features I would like to see are proper cloning tools, generative fill, better AI for enhancing and colorizing images, and text effects and other text tools. Old: I hate to be the guy leaving a review because of issues but that’s going to have to be me this time. Been a fan of the app for a long time now. Also a paid lifetime sub of Videoleap. However I recently decided to go all in with a lifetime sub for Photoleap and am very disappointed in the app performance. Want to add an effect? Click to crash. Want to change an effect? THE photo editor for iPhone. I've owned several dozen apps for photography, but this is the one I always, *ALWAYS*, come back to. I wish I could put examples up on here of before and after images, but suffice it to say it can transform even the blandest image I've taken by mistake with the camera app open into an image worthy of wall space. I rarely review apps and even rarer still recommend apps, so I hope it speaks loudly enough to it's abilities when I say that I've got a bachelor of fine art with a concentration in photography, and I've had work displayed in two Smithsonian Museums as well as the SF Museum of Modern Art...and this is the app I'd give up all other 3rd party photo apps to keep. It really is nothing short of brilliant, and while most apps are limited by a users' imagination, I've found that this gem is powerful enough to greatly expand even that.

OMG Help pleaseee. I was literally just looking at this app and then the app combo popped up which I thought meant u can just click once to download all 4 apps instead of clicking download 4 different times. So I click the “get” button so I can download and preview the apps to see if I like them and all of a sudden after they have downloaded, it says PURCHASED!! What???!! How did that happen? And that was not my intention. While I would love to have these apps and I’m sure they’re lovely, I don’t have the money at the moment for this. I’m not even going to open these apps bc I need help to resolve and fix this situation I’m in. It all happened so fast- and I don’t even know what happened or how this happened. Help me please! (I’m new to iPhone and this is my first apple product- I’m still trying to learn it) 😫😭😭🥺

Love it but wish it had more. To me this is the best photoshop alternative that’s simple but has almost have all the features I need. One being I wish we could rename photos when I save it to the cloud but it’s just one extra step so that’s not huge. Another one is creating different size documents, I’m willing to pay extra for that feature. A 3rd feature, but I can see how it won’t be and I sorta found a way to work around it, is to save it other than a png, particularly as a tiff (in high quality) and or eps due to the layers and I can work on it later on the desktop if needed. Again I’m willing to pay more for that last feature, but other than that this app is amazing and prefer it over affinity and Pixelmator.

Buyer Beware - Storage Problem Force Crash!!!. As powerful and as fun as this app can be, it lacks a huge feature you should not overlook… Cloud Storage! Why you ask? Because if you’re like me and use this app a lot you’ll find that after a few months you’ll max out your phone or pad storage! And guess what?! There’s no way to offload your source files!!!! You either have to delete them forever or store them in your device backup for some future date when maybe you can reimport it back in??? Lame! How in this day and age can you miss something like this?! You want to compete with Photoshop but forget about file storage?! Buyer beware! I have had to backup my phone 4 times this year from a 256GB iPhone, then go back and delete the files to free up space. Oh and one last little nugget of fun… if you let your iPhone max out storage your phone will start buggin out and crash… last time this happened I lost my entire data! Luckily I had a cloud backup from the previous few days to restore at least most of my data. All because this app is not thought through. Boo!

Impossible to cancel the free trial - looks like scam. If you decided to cancel the free 7 days trial - app developers made it impossible for you 😈 The app doesn’t show in subscriptions list. The app shows in “purchases” list that doesn’t give you a chance to cancel it. If you try to email the app support team - they simply ignore your emails and don’t answer. And then charge you after free trial period finishes. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Fun app but beware the subscription. This is a fun and easy app. I subscribed for 1 month. I carefully selected 1 month subscription having read of others negative subscription experiences. Today a whole years subscription was withdrawn from my credit card! Not happy!!

Great app but has recently stopped working. I love this app, I use it for everything, it is great! But for some reason, after I updated it recently it stopped working, I would go in and it would just kick me out, I have been trying to get into it for quite a few days but no luck, please fix it

I love this game. The problem is you overexaggerate how good your game is and also why do I need premium so then I can have 10 templates I can merge 100 pictures so then I don’t need to pay premium so you should make merging a premium thing to because I can rookie numbers for how many pictures I can add

Limits. This is one amazing photo editor but the cost of the pro version I think is a bit to uneccseary. Although you can make amazing photos fpr free ypu hqve to pay because of the restrictions there are. Overall I did enjoy using this and all my friends a like ho did you do that?! Great job!!

Was great, now appalling as a business - DELETE. This is a fantastic example of greed. This app was destined to become an Adobe killer, so I paid for it - it was worth it. I also paid for its video editor. But now it is IMPOSSIBLE to know how much you need to pay to actually get the app with its features intact - they are using the classic gaming ‘coins’ hoax on us. You think you have paid for it - but you now just need to pay a bit more - again and again. Simply open up the list of in-app purchases available. You will see a whole bunch of identical purchase items at completely different prices - and some even make it sound like you will get everything - but then you don’t. So then click on the developer’s website to get more information. Nothing at all - NO information for users, just their media press kits. Extremely unfortunate. I’m backing to looking for who I am ready to give my money to for a great photo editor. I’ve got the cash, but not for this business model.

Love it. This app is a “must have”, it’s loads of fun and the creators always supply new tutorials for ideas, help and new features added with the app updates. I especially love creating personalised birthday and Christmas cards which I then use on social media, I funk up my own photos with surprising creative results and I love to be able to erase backgrounds or merge photos together to create fun masterpieces. I would highly recommended this app to all ages.

Used to love it!. I really used to like this app and thought that it was so good. Now in the new update everything I used to love about this app is gone, meme maker being no. 1. Maybe it’s not gone and an hour of searching to find it isn’t good enough but it’s just so much harder to use than before. Now that it’s in one long toolbar everything’s jumbled up and I liked it when there were tabs that would open sub sections like the ‘add’ tab which had everything you could add. Anyway, if you download it now without having already used the previous version it would probably be perfect so yeah,

Great app. Absolutely love using Photofox. I have learnt so much about editing photos and combining them to make interesting collages. Mostly easy to use but I do get frustrated when doing something is not intuitive like the heal too! It’s easier on my iPad. Seems to work slightly differently than on my phone. I’m really disappointed that Photofox is linked to Facebook without the option to disconnect (that I could find)! I find this a huge invasion of my privacy and am considering deleting it permanently unless this situation of handing off my info to third parties is rectified. It shows no respect.

New Update Had Made This App Difficult. I tried to fiddle around with some photos, but this new update has ruined the experience in fiddling photos around. I made book covers, character profiles and outfits with this, but the new update has thrown me into the ocean without any swimming lessons. At least fix this for those who were used to the old format. This used to be fun. Now it feels like work. B. O. R. I. N. G.

Thank you!!. Thank you so much for sharing this app, I really enjoy it! I definitely do not agree with the previous opinions because I know how much it costs to create one of these apps and it's really good! Even with just the free version there's a lot of tools to play with.

Quality app. This is an app that delivers and supports the customers ability to access support. Thanks guys I have been enjoying learning about the use of this new journey.🛴💨

Paid app. Pay more.... The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because premium package is expensive. But the app itself has lots of things. Just annoying you pay for an app And then you end up having to pay monthly fee to get all. Rather have the app just be fixed price and all included. Seems like money grab. Pity cause it’s a great app.

Already purchased Enlight now told to get this instead.. I had already purchased the Enlight app which I was happy with, now certain features are not working on it due to IOS updates so I’ve been told to download this app instead and I have to pay $109 to unlock all features!? I already paid for Enlight initially why should I have to pay again for a different app when your original app is no longer working properly. Completely ridiculous and unfair just to make more money!

Used to be good, now it is a shell of its former self.. OK, hear me out. I used to love using this app. I’d use it for editing my Minecraft Skins, for making questionably sized eyeballs on people, and for generally messing around. I had the Creative pack. But recently, Enlight began “rebranding” their apps. Pixaloop became whatever it is now, and it’s most basic feature became locked behind a paywall. Guess what? I deleted it. I deleted the other one, and now I just have the video editor and this. Actually, I deleted this ever since I found out you have to MAKE AN ACCOUNT for basic things. This is terrible. I am not making an account because for all I know after reading other reviews it makes you pay $50 every week for basic features. Please, restore this app to the glory it once had. Or let your studio collapse from infinite greed. Signed, A very unhappy consumer.

Greedy Develops. Waste of time. Don’t bother downloading this app, the free version has less available features then the original Enlight and the paid version is ridiculously expensive for a mobile-based application. If you want to spend that kind of money invest in adobe software and edit on your computer. Sick of greedy developers creating new paid apps instead of adding features to existing ones.

Again. I have to agree with others on price etc. most of us only want an app that will just tidy our photos not turn them into something there not. How many people look back through their photo of family, holiday etc. Be honest not many of us do that. I don’t even get to finishing an edit on them before the dust and cobwebs hide them from view. So high priced apps for the everyday person. No thanks. Subscriptions are just ridiculous prices. Be careful you don’t get caught out like so many do. Sorry if it’s negative but............

Me. I love how you can get the most amazing pictures and photos and make them so much better with out a lot of help from others. But I don't like how you can't use stuff just because you haven't paid money!! Thanks

All I need in the palm of my hand!. Been editing photos with mainstream computer applications for over 20 years and can say this palm held app has everything I need when I’m on the go or when I’m just too lazy to use the computer. Have had professionals ask me how on earth I have done certain edits on just a phone and the response from clients are always in awe. Still some room for it to grow, and some features such as hair selecting tool and incorporating the tech that now allows editors to remove subjects out of images just by selecting them would be exciting to see. Still keep the original Enlight app as it has a signature BW filter I much love that has yet to be incorporated into Photofox. Keep up the good work guys!

All about money. I’ve paid for the old enlight app and used it for many years now it’s gone from my phone and i have to pay for a subscription again? What’s wrong with all of you people? How many times do i have to pay for the same app only in different names now just to get my features back? That’s very low i’m sorry but it is low from you

Amazing editing. Hello, PhotoFox community I have one problem with the app, that I think the pro editor is a bit to expensive (for me at least) but it’s great just the blending and erasing sides of things are a little advanced (for me) but the app is amazing at editing and I tried out VideoLeap and its amazing all the Enlight apps are amazing! Kind Regards Me

Awesome app. Could you guys just add an outline feature please? (Like when you add another png layer to a picture, instead of just having it look flat, add a feature where you’re able to add a shadow or coloured outline with thickness kinda like text)

How Awesome PhotoFox Is. Photo Fox is probably my favourite editing game I know, it has a lot of stuff you can edit with like doodling it has a lot of different fonts and the stickers and stuff are excellent if you doing something cute. The only bad thing is the pro it’s like free pass that I can’t buy but everything else is boss.

A free, portable photoshop. I’ve been using this app for years now and it’s absolutely brilliant. It has everything a basic photo editor needs and is definitely worth the subscription if you’re a frequent user. Pro or not though, this app is well equipped for many tasks that I haven’t been able to perform on any other app for free. I love it and I hope it never changes :)

From Joy to Tears.. I just... I simply want to thank the creators of this app. Honestly. This and Videoleap are the best editing apps out here. I’ve made money from making things on here and if I make enough, I swear to god I’ll pay for the full version. I’ve only ever paid for two apps before. This and VideoLeap are next, just... thank you. It’s truly amazing to be able to express my artistic side like this UPDATE: This app has turned around so quickly, the last 2-3 months, the latest and needless rearrangement of the app is exhausting, removing shapes from eraser and inverting the shape eraser function has been put into another feature and inverted so I can no longer cut away perfect squares but can now only cut away what isn’t in the square. This isn’t the biggest issue. The biggest issue is the random but common crashing of the app. No matter what updates I do or if I restart my phone, if it’s on power saver or not, if I delete and redos load the app, the crashing is happening within 10 minutes of use. I use this app to edit photos monthly or weekly, I use it to make money and am now being hindered by it. From Joy to Tears. I truly hope this gets sorted out VERY soon.

Bring back the original. The new enlight is terrible and difficult to use. Bring back enlight legacy. So annoyed this app is no longer available as it was the best for detailed photo editing on an iPhone. Where is the collage function on the new app? Where are the previous preset filters? It’s so hard to navigate, messy, not as accurate and downright disappointing. Not to mention the absurd price point of the pro features which were standard on the original!

Ripped me off. I purchased a combo app purchase from these guys and when I visit either of the apps I purchased it says “purchased” but I can’t use either because they both say to purchase a subscription . My thoughts are I purchased before they jumped onto the subscription leach model and something has glitched but they should honour my original package purchase but support claimed they have no record of it even though I produced apple record and showed them.. very disappointed as I was enjoying the apps before they did this to me but I refuse to be forced into blood sucking subscription models for any app, one time purchase or no purchase and I encourage all app users to write the devs and voice concern for the leaching mentality to be stopped. the app is 5 star but I can only give 1 star for the devs and the bad customer service and subscription parasite model used

Aswome axcept. It’s a bit exspemscive. For the healing what if you just want that and you have to by the whole set but it’s so cool you can use your own photos and also use different types

Fraud. This company has taken my money and I have no evidence on my account or email of them doing so but they have taken it from my bank account. I have sent countless emails and and countless reports and not one single reply. This company is online only and will definitely scam you for the money. The app works as it should but the customer service is awful and not safe. Will definitely never be using it again and will continue to send countless emails to them. Very sad

Edited from 1 star to 5. I downloaded this app on a free trial basis. I was still charged $60 despite cancellation free 4 week trial, I may not have read the fine print? Despite this, support got back to me via email and resolved my issue, issuing me a full refund and apology. For this, I rate the app 5 star as it’s an AMAZING APP! Absolutely hilarious and scary what the Ai can create with just a few key words. Thanks for refunding me as I just wouldn’t have the time to use all this apps features. Would be a must have for people that love editing and getting creative with their images.

BIG CHEAT. I’ve had this app for years. I used it all the time to slightly edit my pictures when the iPhone photo editing wasn’t very advanced. The app has recently stopped working and I had to delete it and install it again. Guess what?! I had no idea that deleting it would have deleted a perfectly working app with a nice interface with this new confusing interface and most of its features being locked and unusable!!! I would be happy to pay a reasonable price for this considering I have been using it for free for so long but the price is absolutely outrageous! I can’t believe I was forced to delete and reinstall and I get the nice surprise that I can’t use if for free anymore... None of this is too bad though cos unless you want to scatter stylised hearts all over your pictures, you can do most of the editing directly on your iPhone photo app. No need to pay this ridiculous money for a coupe of needless features. It’s a shame because instead of being used by professional photographers who want to slightly tweak beautiful photos, it will now be used by teens with disposable money. I guess it does reflect the look of the interface, it used to look professional now it’s just random 👎🏽 not cool! Bottom line is, the app used to be great, it’s now changed to not so great and the definitely not worth the money! I will sadly uninstall after 5+ years and look elsewhere.

Dumb dumb dumb. Whilst I get the developer claiming they have to sustain a business hence the exorbitant price model and whilst they field all the complaints of the pricing model, telling users just keep using the free version. This is not well thought. Why not a more aggressive price model to make the leap from free to pro edition only a slight one than the yawning gap which exists now? If users keep peeling off or only use the free version there won't be any "business" left

Confusing. Even though there were tutorials I still couldn’t figure out how to make the photos with a cool background like in the ads. Seems okay though, a lot of variety but will probably delete since, again really confusing.

Not for the long run. I chose Enlight from the same developer years ago, then one day they dropped the support for that app and luring me to buy their new app, there is no more support to their previous product, Enlight is bugged, basic functions like MEME is broken and no one cares to fix it. Being a loyal customer to their previous App, I feel I have been left behind, so think twice to spend your money in their new products

Bring back the old enlight. I really miss the old enlight (as many reviews here have said). It had a simple, intuitive way to touch up normal photos and make them even more beautiful- to bring them back to how your eye saw the scene or image before the camera took it. I’m finding this new version nowhere near as easy, quick, intuitive, or user friendly and the filters aren’t as good.

Hmm. This may have the best features but I can only afford one of you're suite - even the most basic photo editors allow more than one text element. Please allow for the less fortunate graphic enthusiast. Part 2 - looks like you think I cant add one text. Try adding two without subscription. I bought one of your other apps, I can’t afford this one. You can help by unlocking the other suites for the price of one - or at least let me use more than one text layer.

Is this necessary?. I truly agree with a previous review stating the outrageous cost for this app. Why not add features such as layers into Enlight, and improve on the original app, instead of proudly showing off this new, subscription based editor that demands far too much money for its capabilities? The fact that Enlight is a one time pay app, and one of the best on the App Store, makes you feel it was worth the money for the unlocked features. I just think that it would be a more successful app and better for the buyers to improve on the one, instead of producing others? Again, the costly subscription really isn’t worth it :(

Amazing. Just like photoshop but 10x easier and better quicker results. As soon as I got this app I started using it and I loved it cause of how well it worked and how easy it was. Highly recommend it 👌

In ways, better than the others. Over the period of time that I have been editing photos I have come across many different applications. But this is certainly one of the better ones to use. Well done to the Photofox team

ON-THE-GO Social Media Manager. I’ve found that all Enlight editing apps are incredible. Even for those who haven’t paid for the extra services — the apps are well worth the subscription by the way. I am a Social Media Manager, the apps Photofox and Videoleap have been massive game changers for on-the-go editing. I am so grateful for these apps Enlight, thank you.

Great Editing Software. I’ve been using Photofox for six months or so and I really really love it. It’s great value and does everything you would expect. Just a message to the developer, with the weekly battle thing, you can only upload your entry via Instagram. I don’t have or wish to download insta and I was hoping you could make it possible to enter the competitions through the app. Thanks for this great app!

Change for the sake of change. I tried to like the app, I tried to replace the older Enlight, but since the UI is vastly different (and I feel, less usuable) and features I use often in Enlight are now behind a subscription, I've dropped it from use. I'll keep using Enlight until it stops working, then that will be it. Unless the developers decide to offer a migration path that places the new app as a direct feature replacement for Enlight. Then I might give it another go.

Sickening customer service. This company doesn’t care about people at all someone obviously stole my card information and when I bring it to their attention they give me some stupid ring around about needing account information…account information I had no clue existed until I got charged $58 absolutely shocking how a company is willing to just ignore fraud so they can make a quick buck. Wouldn’t recommend anything by this company at all haven’t even tried their products but customers being frauded is not the way to run a company

Seriously!?. This app is an amazing editor. It truly is but.... seriously!? I am not paying that much money! Greedy, greedy, greedy. And one more for good luck —-> Greedy (Replying to the developers’ response) Ya true though, rated 2 more stars because you actually read your reviews but still you cant really do much with only 2 Layers just saying.

10/10. It’s a great app! I can easily edit photos in my animations and edit out things I don’t want in a photo, the setting of the app is simple so I don’t forget what to click and I think that it has everything I need to edit. I love using the doodle tool to draw and edit my cartoon characters. I recommend this to people that are just learning to edit photos and to experts!🤩🤩🤩

Good… but…. Love the app for photo editing. Very versatile BUT when you pay this much for an app, updates should be free and having to pay for all this new AI stuff should be included for at no extra cost.

this app is great but subscriptions are pricey. I get why your subscriptions are pricey but the fact that I have to merge every layer so that i can add a new photo or transparent layer is pretty stupid... 2 layers isn’t enough for a free version. It would be nice if you would let us have more layers... even basic features such as blur are for pro only. I still use your app but only free because the pro isn’t worth my money.

Yotube videos. This is the perfect app for getting my avatars looks to the best they can get! It’s an absolute help with editing especially when your trying to get attention 👏 With or without pro it is honestly has enough editing tools to get your heart out to the picture whether tour coming an imagine or listening to music. I recommend this app to people who like to get their hearts out on a image or make a great video with amazing effects. Obviously there are video editing apps but I say photo editors like this one really make your video stand out!

Scam or what. So first you get enlight, which costs money. Then you upgrade to Photofox which, when you’re in the enlight app doesn’t say that it costs money at all let alone once you get into it, is also a subscription based model. So I have to pay for photofox, but upon paying I’m not entitled to all the features, and instead have to get a subscription. So it basically does less than enlight but for more money. Poor decisions guys

Great app. I have been able to edit the hardest things and writing on my I-pad was messy now this app made this a lot better. And helping me support my parents by doing these pictures thanks a lot! You got a 5star Rate from me

Deleted the app, but it wont let me redownload it 😡😡😡😡😡. It’s not a bad app it’s just I JUST want the dang app to redownload IT SO PLS HELP ME GOD!

Amazing. The best

Don’t waste your time. Money grabber, deleted

Love it.. Even the free features are amazing. Not limited in what you can do.

Great app. I love this app so far and it’s only been a single day :). I really don’t care about the negative reviews. :)

Not good. It’s not a good app

Great App. I love this app!! Super easy to use.

object, removal, as in people, useless.. so you have a group photo and you want to remove the boy that’s blocking your daughter someone and maybe one other person you can’t you just simply can’t it either wants to erase them where are you gonna have a big hole in your picture and then somehow figure out how to fill it in there, but ultimately it is the same as all these other apps to promise they can remove people. They simply can’t. This app is no different than any of the other ones. You can’t just remove a person from a picture and have it look natural. So frustrating.

Simple changes. I feel like there could be some simple changes that would improve my experience with the app. Having the option to line up the text boxes with each other (not just having them lined up in the centre of the image). More basic shapes for the elements or stickers there isn’t even a rectangle to choose from. Lastly I dislike most of the fonts I can never find one that fits just right, there’s always something wrong with them. All of the cursive text options are ugly in my opinion. I have the full version of this app so it would be nice to not have to give it up so soon and have these changes be made.

$ grab - look for alternatives. Really expensive for what it seems to offer. And even though, I am not a fan of the subscription model anywhere (because it reeks of greed), Photoshop has better subscription plans than this. I understand that this is targeted at achieving PS like results on a mobile environment but still, that one caveat cannot be used as the sole USP for putting a higher price on the product. That being said, 0 stars for removing the option to have a lifetime subscription. Also, I see reviews from not even a year ago and their lifetime subscription price seemed to have bumped up from being at $40 to a $100 just a few days ago to totally being removed as an option today. That is simply being a money grabber. Pathetic.

Ripoff. They get you to sign up for a free trial and never send a reminder like they said they would. Then they charge you $49 and don’t respond to any emails and keep your money. It’s a scam.

The need to sign. It’s an incredible app but I don’t want to sign in and I can’t go in as a guest.

Enlight Photofox. Best..App..Ever for editing photos on an Apple device.

Amazing. Use it!

Thanks!!. I paid for the full version a while ago and was comfortable with that, and now my money has gone to waste since the full version is gone? And now I have to pay $100 for it? Just create a new app if you want to upgrade, but I was happy with my smaller simpler version. That I paid for.

Double exposure. I would like to use two of my own photos for double exposure overlay rather than use one of your stock photos. Is this possible? Tutorials?

Creative. Love this app. Ingenious. Fun and easy to use.

Purchased previously but now unable to use. Bought this app previously but it no longer works; now a monthly subscription price for something I already purchased. So frustrating. Not to be trusted.

Misleading! Not Midjourney AI. I was mislead into purchasing a years long subscription when I viewed this on Google. The company had a sponsored post that was the first thing to appear when I searched “Midjourney AI”. Even in this sponsored ad, it specifically said in the description ‘Midjourney’, which is why I was mislead as it was a blatant copy. I understand you offer a similar service to Midjourney, but I really did not appreciate this misleading advertising. I am not sure in what capacity this service is related to Midjourney AI, but it is nonetheless non-transparent in mentioning so.

Not the best. I did not really enjoy this, it was not what I was looking for

Can’t cancel the subscription. Can’t cancel the subscription within App

Please keep Enlight available!. I’ve been a long time user of the app Enlight and I was very disappointed to learn that soon it won’t be supported anymore. I liked the interface and the multiple options of tools and effects. I’ve just downloaded this new version that they suggested to have a look and this is what I saw comparing the two apps: the filters in the good old Enlight that could be set&saved in the app are now a lot less ajustable; passing from meany great options (structure, brightness, contrast, offset, saturation, film intensity, dark hue, lights hue, fade, grain, vignette intensity, spread, transition, corner, light leaks and border) to a ridiculously small amount of options (grain, fade, intensity). That means that to make a consistent feed of picture with the same kind of effect it will take 10x more time to achieve. This is without mentioning that they are selling the “full” app of the new version at a 100$... I honestly would prefer to pay that and keep Enlight!

Not highly developped. We should need to cut a picture like it would be a sticker’s but of course not the white circle between de the cut picture still show up Would love to retry if this probles is solve

Pixelated images even with the Pro plan. I bought the pro plan to save high definition images all I got big images but pixelated. Very disappointing I won’t renew my plan starry ai has crispier images than this app.

Good photo editor. This app is great if you what to edit photos for free. Their is no adds and saves your work!! I only problem is some of the features are locked by a subscription.

Olivier. New festures does not working Internet issus please fix it

Great app!. I’m enjoying this app very much. It’s very fun and useful.

I make edits. I make edits for my friends and people online

Too Confusing. I was very excited to use this new version, as I regularly edit using the Enlight full version app with ease. For example, the tutorials talk codes ES71, tried to layer with no success; it's stays a checkered screen even with effects. Overall I'm just extremely disappointed with having paid for the full version and no matter how many times I try to figure it out, it doesn't click.

Y’all Frl ruined it with the watermark. 🤡

Miss the old version. I had the old Enlight when it first came out years ago. It glitched a few weeks ago and I went to delete and redownload it in hopes it would fix it— yet I was incredibly disappointed to find that I can’t redownload it, it’s gone. I tried this version and I dislike it in every way. I can’t do nearly as much as I could with the other version.... unless I pay a bunch of money. and it still wouldn’t be as good as their old app. I emailed support really hoping I could get it back, yet I never received an email back. smh. I don’t know why they had to delete such a wonderful app and replace it — and based on these reviews, I know I’m not the only one who thinks so. BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION, PLEASE.

Yo. So far so good

Awesome photos. Photo Leap has an awesome variety of photos to choose from!

Just reading the reviews. Made me realize I don’t want this app. Sure enough, some options it states pro version. Ok. I leave those alone. Try some where it doesn’t say pro yet as soon as i want to apply, it asks me to choose a plan. I bought videoleap and am very happy with it. Not this one.

Stop with the subscriptions. I purchased enlight over two years ago and I decided to make the switch over to Photofox. I just deleted enlight off my phone HUGE MISTAKE. all the features I enjoyed for a one time payment of $8 are now gonna cost me 10 dollars monthly? I don’t often edit photos probably less than what ten bucks a month is worth. I really hate having to factor in how much my mobile photo editing app will cost me every month while paying rent. I wish software developers would stop being greedy when we are paying for a product and not a service.

?? Think twice. Not what expected. Tried canceling, it wouldn’t. They also will not respond to emails

Worked for a few images, now crashes all the time. The Animate feature started to fail first now the other features are crashing every time I try to use them. This was both before and after the recent update.

Uhm-. I don't really get it it's very confusing pretty good for beginners! , Otherwise don't recommend

I’m already not happy. I purchased Enlight 2 years ago and while I understand that you have a new product I don’t want to subscribe. I want to be able to do everything I do in Enlight because I PURCHASED IT!! I don’t understand how you must subscribe to something that shouldn’t cost more than a 1 time charge since nothing is updating!!

Stay away from free trials. This app will not let me cancel the free trail. Do not subscribe.

Beware updates. I was happy with this app for more than 3 years but with their recent update, I’ve lost faith in it. Where are the stock photos? It’s great to add to an App but when they change/remove what customers are accustomed to, that’s poor customer service. Trying to get help is beyond frustrating. Thanks but no thanks. I’ll spend the extra and go back to Adobe where they improve by adding, not removing. So disappointed and 6 months left of thrown out money. Cancelled all my subscriptions.

Update ruined it. The users that paid for tools of reshape or reform now are obligated to pay again ? C’mon we’ve supported you from the beginning now what the hell ????

A bit of a learning curve. I’m slowly getting to figure out what I need to do to get what I’m after. Some tutorials would be nice but I guess difficult to tailor. Still learning, having fun.

One Hell of a Tool.. This application saved our lives. I wanna thank the developers that built this thing. The team here is really thankful. The UI is intuitive. Great job guys.

I feel betrayed. T’was better before the update!

Make a bundle price package!. Instead of these individual subscriptions, I’d be more tempted to go pro if you could bundle some into a one payment/subscription- just makes it easier to keep track, and build your own package.

Photo fox. Love it

In-app purchases inside a subscription bundle?. I love Photoleap (and Videoleap) but Photoleap has depreciated Motionleap by taking on its functionality and now there are subscriptions inside my subscription. I’m not going to use A.I. avatars, can I get rid of the ads for it inside my already paid app?

Money taken from me. Signed up to try the one week trial, and I made sure to cancel before the trial end or it automatically signs you up for a annual membership. Noticed money was taken from my bank account for an annual membership regardless of my cancelation of such services. I reached out to the support team on my issue with photos of my cancelation as well as photos from my bank showing money was taken out, and still not one person has responded to my inquiry.

Don’t get me wrong. I completely understand that it takes money to run a business and to make improvements but I feel the quality of the product itself should be enough to sell mass amounts of downloads at a low fixed rate and through this the creators can make a fair amount of money . considering after all that most users are using this for phone photography , and most iOS phones although great at taking photographs , aren’t the gold standard for photography ... Youd figure for that amount you can just buy desktop software . I understand the portability of this being on a phone but you also have to be fair when considering the medium .if you were using a 12 megapixel digital camera ... it’s just not logical to pay a recurring fee or the high amount you’re charging .

Really?. Charging for features that are already FREE for users that ONE TIME PURCHASE the original Enlight app. I would understand this app had the exact features of the original for FREE and then charge for newer and different ones but that’s not the case. Also I don’t appreciate the message on an update that was made to Enlight app stating that they will still support the app for now. That’s not ok, I understand there’s money to be made but don’t take away something that people purchased on your own terms of a one time purchase. If the objective was to have a monthly, yearly, permanent purchase charge, then you should’ve executed that business model from the start. That way you guys wouldn’t have had to make a new app that’s so similar but with a different look and name to get that business model up and running.

Great Photo App but too expensive. This app would get 5 stars if the buy to own price weren’t so steep. $60 to own is a bit over the top. I really want to unlock it’s full potential because I could see this being my new “Everything” photo edit app but not for $60. Im checking here and there to see if they put the one time purchase fee on 1/2 off sale like they do the annual price because $30 I could justify spending but not $60. I’m not saying it’s not worth $60..the polish of this app alone is top notch but $30-$40 is usually the price for a decent non-pro photo editing suite so I compare it to that. Until then I’m still using my other photo app that I won’t mention because that’s rude to push a competitor’s app in another app review.

Bring back Pinchy Sizing!. The new update is so annoying. I literally made 1000s of graphics with Photoleap. PLs best feature was pitching and zooming and turning a layer to get it precisely where you want it. It felt so free and easy. Now when you pitch and zoom it zooms the whole canvas! Ughhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Dealing with the square makes it such a chore to place objects. It’s even more of a pain with Paint Booth. See I want to put the original image over it and cut out the person. But the image comes out smaller than its actual size. I could easily just snap it back yesterday but now I have to painstakingly pull the square to get the image perfectly right again. Such a waste of time! I liked the eraser icon. Even though it did get in the way. I liked pressing + to bring up the menu. Pressing X to get into a hidden submenu feels so unintuitive. New users probably won’t find it. You guys have the best image editor I ever used. Don’t fix with isn’t broken! Please bring back the pinchy sizing!

BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. You do not have to pay to get in and most of the stuff is not pro and almost no adds!!!!!!! You can save to camera roll for free and without adds. It gives a free tutorial!!!!!! It is my new favorite game!!!!!! Make sure to download this app!!!!! If you did not ir missing out on a lot, and you can barely edit ur photos. But if you download this app you are complete, and you can easily edit ur photos with just a couple of clicks!!! The best part is it is free and you don’t have a time limit for long you do it! And also you can use your photos, take photos, or use the web for photos!!!!! And I can not find one bad thing to say about this app!!!!!

Just buy the $3.99 original Enlight. Do not pay for this. I loved the original app and how affordable it was for the price. It had a lot a features that I personally used. But then they added this app. Which essentially has the same features as the original, they just removed most of them for free users. I was happily ready to pay the full price, but then I saw that the price is absurd for what is a really basic photo editor. $70 for the one time fee! That’s $76 more just for little more features than what the original had. For crying out loud it’s a basic photo editor. You can get Affinity Photo, which has many many more features than Photofox, I think it is the photo editor with the most features on iPad, and is only $20. I think I’ll stick with the original, thank you.

Used to work better!. I have used this app since it was Enlight. Overall I have been happy with results it has helped me produce as a photoshop substitute. However, recent updates, while bringing several upgrades and streamlined interface has also made several frustratingly poor design choices. For instance, the delete button now appears just under every jpeg you put into a layer, making it way to easy to delete your work. Several other updates also hurt the app more then they help especially when you pay a subscription fee and there seems to be no fix in sight. This app worked much better before all the changes and they got greedy.

Truly Awesome!. I have been using this app for only a few days, but I LOVE IT! As an amateur photographer and photo editor, I love that it’s so easy to use! The fact that is has a huge library of beautiful photos is wonderful too. The only complaint I might have is that you can only use two layers per project if you don’t have Enlight Photofox Pro. I would really appreciate it if we could have just one or two more layers to work with without having the subscription. It can get a bit frustrating to only have two to work with when you’re a broke student with a big goal. Anyway, truth be told, I have never had more fun editing and creating photos, and I really love this app. I recommend it to all! ☺️

Great app. It really is a great app. It is free. The just of it is really nice. There are some things that like cost money for like premium whatever. But who needs those? I really enjoy playing around on this app. I just wish the brushes had like transparency and a little more options. And maybe a little blend tool. So if you are looking to photoshop super convincingly, than no. Get photoshop or adobe pro and pay for it. It’s worth it. But this is fun and goofy and easy enough. But I just wish it was a bit more technical. But that’s not really what the app is about. And it’s a great starter beginner app. It’s very self explanatory and just fun. Not to technical. But I am looking for a more technical. But this is really fun and good in all.

Kinda sad.. The og enlight app was great, just kinda sad that it’s probably going to rot in iOS updates, making it unusable. Photo fox seems good, but paying 65 bucks more then original app for some new features just doesn’t sit right. With the amount that enlight offered for 5 bucks means that you should be getting at least 10x the value in photofox. I understand that subscription services help the company make more updates, (and make more money…), but coming from an app that seemed like a deal to something where you’re gawking at the fact an PHONE app can cost THAT much… honestly I’d be fine with all of this as long as they just made sure the og enlight still works after iOS updates for those who PAID for it. please consider this developers.

Cumbersome at first. The original Enlight was the perfect photo editing app for me. It was streamlined and I was able to collage and add text, something extremely important to me for social media with my job. This new app was cumbersome for me to use at first but I eventually got used to it and learned my way around it. Unfortunately it’s simply not a very practical app anymore. I really miss the collage feature because no other collage apps really satisfy me like the old Enlight did. If they simply brought back collage options and the more practical features of the original Enlight and attempted to make it less unwieldy, I’d feel like this app was really worth it for me. But all in all, it’s been disappointing after losing an app I loved and used so much.

They raise the price even if you already paid. This was an awesome app while it lasted. A few years ago i already purchased this app and now i’m being lead to a new subscription plan. They should have grandfathered customers that already paid or given us a deal for already paying not knowing they would eventually make a subscription service. I won’t be using this app anymore because i don’t trust that they won’t be asking for more money to use the app. They being said, it was awesome and if you aren’t already a customer then it’s a good app but the deceptive move for customers that have supported this app for years before them making you sign up for a subscription is a bad move. Beware if you buy it. They could change without offering anything. This wasn’t a rental app when i bought it. And now i’m walking away with nothing.

5 stars for sure! Just an issue with the newest update.. Hello! I LOVE this app. I’m an editor who has used these tools since 2017, and I’ve had to adjust a few times with new updates that have come along. There hasn’t been a problem with an update until now. But the update that makes it so you can’t adjust the size of a photo by zooming in with your fingers has made everything more difficult. I liked how it was before, and I would very much like that feature back! It would be a 5 star review from me if it was back. Other than that, this is a wonderful app & I find it useful every time I use.

One of the very best. I’ve used various tools to make AI art, from old-school methods to the most popular ones today, and gotta say that PhotoLeap text-to-image is at the top of my list. Easy to use and really great results. * * *I need help with a glitch, though. I’m a subscriber and most of my creations are no longer showing in the app, so I can’t edit and export the larger versions. Can someone tell me what I’m missing? This just happened out of the blue. I don’t need PhotoLeap to access my device photos ~ I just need to regain access to all the app-created images that used to display in the app. Thanks!

Great App!!. I really enjoy this app, I think it is great for editing. I like that there is many different things you can do to the pictures and I really like that you can blend 2 or more pictures at a time, many apps do not have that option. I definitely recommend getting this app, and I would be giving it 5 stars but I do think it is a little confusing at first and I do like that they did a little demo for you to kind of give you the feel of doing it yourself but after that there wasn’t a help button or anything to click on. Other than that though the app is excellent for editing and I really like the options it gives you!

Was convinced to try AI portrait by amazing ads / examples. Scam.. Just downloaded Photoleap because I was convinced by their ads that they could actually create pro-quality portrait photos. Their ads show realistic professional LinkedIn like situations. Instead, the app made me look like a shrunken head in a polyester suit they got from a stock photo. Not usable. Tried multiple variations, photos, etc with bad results. Close to scam level when you look at their example ads vs the actual results. Beware. Worse, I now realize they tried to charge me immediately, after saying clearly when the app loaded that they had a 7 day trial. Now I’m having to request a refund. I’ve gone to the Apple refund request immediately, but they won’t take the refund request because it’s still processing. How much you wanna bet after it’s done processing they’ll say it’s too late?

Mixed Success with AI Portraits. I got the app because of their DND film collaboration. The first few times I did it were wonderful, but all of a sudden it became quite bad (even when I used the same photos). I understand AI can be a hit or a miss it’s just a little upsetting, especially when I later paid for the 100 pack, that it was far from the same quality as my first attempts (the renders themselves did not even share similarities). Again I fully get that not every render will be successful, but there was a MASSIVE dip in quality where it failed to show any likeness whatsoever. Still a decent app, just be wary that quality fluctuates if you ever choose the paid options!

They had my negative review REMOVED!. I had a 1 star review up titled buyer beware and they had it removed. I’ll just keep posting so you can have it taken down all you want! Do not buy a subscription to this app, it was working fine for the trial and now that I paid the $$$ for the subscription it all stopped. Colorize, enhance, AI.. nothing. All I get is “An error has occurred, try again later”.. Later never comes cause it’s all that it does. Keep saying error try later. The development team does not care about your problems. They will make empty promises about working on the program, but the updates only ever break more things that did work. This app is a scam and should be removed from the store and every person should be refunded who bought into it.

Pro or Not 5 Star. I don’t have Enlight or pro, and I don’t necessarily plan on spending money on it anytime soon. But I absolutely love this app! It’s got several great features for free and looks like some amazing ones I really want to have the money for. I like the ability to customize the brushes such as the eraser and doodle. I have never seen this in any other photo editing app. I enjoy the simplicity and yet ability to do complex things. I love what I can do with these photos with Photofox! I really wanted to leave a good review because I’ve been on this app maybe way too much and nobody ever knows what I’m talking about.

Needs 2 improvments.. Hi, I find this app very cool. Its just that things are kinda expensive. Like the ‘Pro’. I don’t know how to use much of the tools very well, so I wish you could explain every tool? I also wish there were a little more pictures in stock, I enjoy the app because I make really cute art on it, but I wish you could just fix these little things in the app. Please also respownd! But when i frist got this i thoght it was like you make a people and play games but i was worng,Now that i have been playing this game so much i love this game im like the best pro EVER,Thank you for making this game i love it,Also Please Respownd!

I lost some features after updating. I bought this app year back ago when it was a one-time purchase, it used to be called Enlight, and I had all the features available, some filters, and most importantly the Healing brush, the app used to work just fine for me, and I used very often and I was happy with it, however, I noticed the text adding isn’t working properly and the app just freeze when I use it, so I thought updating might fix it, and when I updated it, I lost my healing brush and many other tools and now it asks me to pay for it again when I already bought it before, this is a scam and there is no way I can revert to older versions to get back my paid for features, wish I never updated. if you have the app with the older name don’t update or you will lose everything like me.

Missing a few things. I really enjoy the app. It does some amazing things and produces amazing results but is also missing some very basic functions. The first is the inability to change the size of your brush. The second is when you return to your photo album to select another photo, the program doesn’t hold your place. It places you at the beginning of your photo album to start to search. With a thousand photos on my phone, that’s very time consuming. I have other apps that return me exactly to the place I left off, so I know that capability exists. These seem like very basic functions that such an advanced program would provide. Otherwise, I am very impressed with the app and love experimenting with it.

The best photo layering app currently. There’s nothing else quite like this app on the app store currently, I’ve been enjoying it. The ability to layer photos ontop of each other and erase parts of it out works perfectly. There are even several configurable settings and tools for it, and I especially appreciate the ability to control what file type and export size and export quality of your project. That’s something a lot of editing apps don’t really think about. Great app! My only critique is that I would like more layers, especially if you aren’t pro. 3 layers is really restrictive.

Bad update: Not intuitive, cash grab—DELETING. TL;DR review: Long time Enlight user. This new update is not intuitive. None of the features work the way they used to. The worst: Features I used heavily in the past are only available if I pay. Addition of layers is genius but not worth the above drawbacks. I’ve used Enlight for the past two years and loved the free version. Then the other day I started having problems with various features. So I decided to delete and re-download. The only similar download to the older version was this one. Immediately it was clear we weren’t in Kansas anymore, Toto. None of the features operate the way they used to. None of it is intuitive. Then when I went to use several of the features I used the most, I was taken to a pay screen. 🤦🏼‍♂️I can understand if they added new features and wanted to charge for them, or maybe charge for the layers feature. But to try to charge me for something I used to use freely is a deal breaker. The addition of the layers feature seems to be the only positive in this new version. All of this adds up to an app that will take up storage space and not get used, so I’m deleting it. Let us know if things change! 👋🏼

Is getting old. This app was the best for me I used to use it all the time for editing my pictures and they had pretty cool editing now all those editing are not free anymore plus the app push and push and push you to get the membership like every other app out there is getting old like it was fine with the few things they had…. Is still not a bad app so if you are trying to get it go ahead is good for some stuff but coming from someone that use the app back when it came out the possibility were endless now they are still endless once you pay.

Kind of disappointed. I purchased this app since it first came out. I used it all of the time. I don’t do anything special. Add words, make a collage. With this new update I have to figure everything out again and some of the things I liked and used are gone. Replacing them are constant pop ups to subscribe. I know there are people that really use all of the features, but I just want something to edit a photo. I don’t want to pay even more money every month to use an app I already paid for once. This isn’t the only app that’s doing this, I’ve had to delete apps asking for a monthly fee to use them. THAT’S what is disappointing.

Good At First! -And Then..... Hello! I absolutely love this app and use it sooo much to edit my photos! Well... I used too. Until this happened: I was editing a photo, (like usual) and then I saved it. Sounds cool, right? Yes! So I went to make another (cuz it’s addicting) and it had a typed thingy on the screen that said: Xmas Exposer By Photofox; and there was nothing I could do to move it! I tried EVERYTHING! And it was in the way of my photo for NO REASON!!! So I just quit and started a new artwork. As soon as it uploaded... that thing was there again! I HATE IT! And so I quit and just got a different editing app. Problem solved! Though I do like yours much better, I wish I could make art and create stuff without that in my way. Thank you, #FoxInTheSnow

Great but I have some questions. Okay, I’m not gonna lie, this app is absolutely amazing and when I downloaded it I immediately downloaded the other three apps. I think with the bundle people don’t understand that it’s free and they don’t have to pay unless they want in app purchases, so they give it bad reviews. But these apps are completely free. To wrap it up, I have a few questions ( I just got this an hour ago don’t judge I’m a noob ) How do you save/share the photos? Also how do you enter the challenges? Thanks for reading, I would 100% recommend this app for passionate photo editors like me!

Free? Revised Review. I’m revising my review because it isn’t fair for me to say what I said when it was operator error that caused the issue. I’m giving 4 stars instead of one. I’m still not good at using the functions but it does what they say it will for free. Here was my original review for reference. I apologize if anyone made a choice to not try this out for their self based on what I wrote!!! I downloaded so that I could test it out since support kept saying how great free version still is. I didn’t opt in for any payment and it went to a screen saying tap here to start and froze. It’s not my phone either, working with iPhone X so there should be no issues. Disappointing.

Ridiculous. I purchased the original Enlight a few years ago. It was Ana amazing app until it stopped working today and crashed every time I tried to do anything on it. I figured I would just delete the app and redownload it. No big deal. Come to find out you can’t redownload the old app and now I have lost hundreds of photos I have saved and edited over the years. As if that wasn’t bad enough, now my original purchase is completely null and void. If you have the old app- save all of your saved and unsaved photos to your photos on your phone before you change apps because they do not carry over. I will not be purchasing the new app and I sure feel scammed that the original $15 I spent on the app is gone now unless I want to pay $80. Ridiculous business model. I’d love my money back for the app I can no longer use

Perfect!. This app is perfect! There are so many preset super cool filters to choose from, or you could do your own with a bunch of simpler filters. I’ve made a bunch of my own and have impressed family and friends. I was looking for a photo and/or video editing app for weeks, and in my search, I came across this app! You can pay to get even better filters and layers, but if you can’t, this app has so many different things to choose from anyway! I highly recommend you get this. Also, I have never written a review for an app before but this is just too good not to!

Literally remove the entire update.. This app was perfect- easy to use. Now it’s unbearably tedious. So many extra steps for things that used to be so simple? No more pinch to reshape? No instant option to add another image? And “show all layers” now makes the layers TRANSPARENT??? How am I supposed to match the shades or colors of two images when the one on top now shows up transparent while I’m adjusting the other????? Are you guys actually stupid? Are you trying to ruin your reputation and lose money?? You pulled a 180 on accessibility. I am so glad I only payed for one month’s use. Like most developers, I’m sure you’re going to be ignorant about your flaws and take little action (even though everyone clearly hates the update). So with that, I’m going to delete this app and you can enjoy watching your product slowly rot. Say: “bye bye money”

Would be a good app. I love this app. Don’t get me wrong. But it makes me really frustrated that I have to pay a ton of money if I want to save my photos. I understand having expensive subscriptions to use all the other features, but I shouldn’t have to pay so much money just to save photos. That said, if you do have that much extra money, I highly recommend this app. No idea what the developer response means. I’m still a little mad, but when I think about it, this app is probably meant for serious photo editors, maybe someone with a degree in photography, and I’m just some kid complaining about it. Actually, if your like me, you can’t try Artleap. It’s a little more limited, but the subscription is cheaper and saving is free.

Text to AI Has Changed. Edited: It appears the glitch mentioned in my original review was addressed, and all the options have been restored. I will be using this often again! There used to be so many options in the text to AI feature, but now there are only three (Photo, Hyperreal, and Anime). I don’t really use any of these and I pay for the yearly sub. Was using Fantasy, Dystopian, and more of the painted looks before to help brainstorm ideas and create my own stock images, but I can’t see myself using it without the previously offered styles.

Disappointed with the “upgrade”. With Enlight being phased out and replaced with Photofox, I would’ve expected the same features to be available in both of the free versions. But this isn’t the case; the heal, patch and target features are only available now with the Pro version of Photofox when they were available in the free version of Enlight. Photofox also feels like a more “a five-year old can use it” type app, rather than one geared towards photographers. If I recall correctly, Photoshop did the same thing with their app and lost a ton of customers. In my opinion, Enlight was much better than Photofox, and I’m very disappointed the company decided to go with this “forget the customer, make as much money as we can” route. Photofox may be a good option for some, but it is no longer an app I will be using.

You know you can kinda get sued for this stuff right?. So recently you added AI text to image generation. That's all fine and dandy, but there's one issue. You made it cost money. Now if you haven't realised this already, you were able to download that ai model for free. Stable Diffusion is free, and open source. You can't just go around making people pay for something free, you guys truly have upgraded in your scammery since last time I was here, and don't even come at me with the "oh it's hard to host it on our servers", just put it in your app maybe? Just saying, and well, if it takes up a bunch of storage, make it a downloadable extension, that is, of course, free. I'd love to get a response from you and see what you have to say about this...

Photoleap is a scam. I would rate this a ZERO STAR app. During my 7-day free trial, I attempted multiple times in multiple ways to end the trial and cancel any pending charge for subscription. I could not find a button to click. There is nothing in the settings. When I follow the directions to cancel they just lead in a loop. I have emailed, sent a message on the app, and replied to texts and emails from Photoleap asking to have my subscription terminated. Day 7 came and they still tried to charge my card. Fortunately, my card alerted me to the charge and I had that charge cancelled before they got my money. This may be a lovely app for photo editing, but they have deceptive business practices for those who don’t want to go beyond the 7-day trial and there’s zero chance I would ever do business with them.

I love the original app.. I’ve checked out Photofox, and it’s just way more than I need. I’ve been using your original app for years. It’s the perfect basic editor. I use the mixer to quickly overlay something. I love the filters, and I find it smooth and intuitive. I’d be. We happy to pay a modest subscription fee to keep it. I’ve tried the new apps, and they’re amazing. That being said, they’re way more than I need and much more money than I want to spend. I’d be very happy to spend a few dollars a month for the original app. I hope you keep supporting it. Many thanks. PS: my five star review is for the original Enlight.

DO NOT GET THIS APP! Impossible to cancel. I subscribed to this app and it took three months to cancel it. Each month I had to call apple directly to have them cancel it, and yet the subscription kept on charging my account. They are, quite simply, operating illegally. I have a screen shot of 2 separate months where it said “expired subscription” on my subscription file on my phone, while receiving a simultaneous bill saying “renewed subscription” on my billing invoice. I had to call Apple ID people, and both times they said that because it said “expires on —— date” it will automatically cancel. This is false because each month I would get a receipt where it says “renews on —— date”. This process was infuriating and after three months of this in a row, I finally spent 45 minutes with a supervisor at APPLE ID to cancel it manually. A few cool pictures are NOT worth the trouble.

Has some good features. Has some good features, useful ones at that. But it’s lacking some things for me to consider it over my favorite app, Bazaart. If Bazaart added like one or two of the features from this app, it would make this app irrelevant, but since this app has some nice features, it breaks my heart not to commit to it. Here’s some things Bazaart has that is missing from this. Add these things and this app would be phenomenal for me. It isn’t copying either, it’s just minor things. -Add the ability to add shadows to objects. Make it editable (direction, opacity, blur, color, amount). -Add the ability to add outlines. Make it editable (thickness, opacity). -Add an internet option. Like in Bazaart, I can click to add a picture from my photos, from their stock options, or from searching the internet images. That way, I can search for say a lightning effect png. Then a bunch of already cut out lightning images will appear from the internet search and I just click it to paste it into the canvas. -A more organized text/font layout. Capable of adding my own fonts. Those are just some things off the top of my head.

Your welcome.... Early user of the original app that back when you were new and cutting your teeth in the App Store we paid $4.99 for. All of us paying that back then was the catalyst of your group growing to where it is today. But killing off the old app completely is really wrong. For me and what I want to do from my phone the original app was perfect. I’d been away from iOS for a while and just getting things back during my return only to find you destroyed my favorite quick edit app and now I have to go pro in order to save a photo with a few text layers? Crazy... I’m all for business growing, expanding, doing new and better things but you should have treated the early adopters better than this. I’ll use any tool other than this just based on the principal. A brief read of the reviews shows I’m not alone in my opinion.

Wrong Pricing Model. Yes, the app is good, but I'm ready to cancel my subscription as soon as my 3 free months come to an end. I am not cheap. I've purchased literally almost every photo and graphics app for iOS, but I cannot support the hefty subscription model, or the overpriced one-time purchase price. There are many one-time purchase price points between $0 and $40 that would be much more appropriate and would at the same time expand your happy user base. Would I pay $10? Absolutely. Would I pay $15? I likely would. Would I pay $20 one time? I likely would, but I believe that would be the upper limit for an app in this category. It's fun and creative, but not necessary nor life saving. I would rather you revise your one time purchase price now, rather than wait until you have alienated and burned through your entire existing customer base. Just my 2¢.

Update changes everything that was good about this app. I’m all for improvements but the most recent update had made this app a chore when it used to be simple and fast to edit multiple images/layers. I’ve paid for lifetime access and feel like based on the changes made this week this money is now wasted as I’ll need to look for a new app. I suggest you guys look at the most recent reviews (since the last update) and seriously consider restoring the functionality that was in place previously

Tried it out, love it. Decided to try the free trial, I love it. I just wish that the paid couples portraits let you choose categories or something? I love the dimmed and film noir but don’t really like the world tour, royal & rodeo as much. I would just rather have more options for the ones I like more since some of the photos aren’t as usable sometimes. Still a pretty decent app. Small edit: everyone saying it’s impossible to cancel your subscription, open the App Store. Tap your picture, it should say subscriptions, that’s where you cancel. Same for all apps.

Bring back old version. I loved my enlight Photofox, but then it was upgraded and i could not get it to open anymore. I had to get the new version and had to pay all over again. The new version barely does anything. I think they want you to buy the 4 variations to do all that you could before in one app. I can no longer heal or add text. The only reason I have it at all, is that it’s great for me aging photos by letting you erase the background and then overlay. I really wish I could still use the one that still is the only one that comes up in all the tutorials if I google for help.
