Onirim - Solitaire Card Game Game Description & Overview

What is onirim - solitaire card game app? "Asmodee Digital has done a great job with their virtual board game releases, and Onirim is one of their fantastic new releases!" - App Advice

"Onirim is a simple and well-crafted adaptation of a solitaire game" - Board Game Quest

"Asmodee is very good at making modern and well thought out board games for mobile. Onirim is no exception, with a rejuvenation of the solitaire card game that is simply perfect on your phone." - Pocket Gamer

Nominated for a Golden Geek in the Best Solo Board Game category, Onirim is a card game where you play as a dream walker, lost in a mysterious labyrinth. You must find the dream doors before the dream time runs out, or you will be trapped forever!

Will you wander around the dream chambers hoping that luck will reveal the doors, or will you meticulously explore each room type? Either way, you'll have to avoid the traps of the dreaded nightmares that haunt the labyrinth's corridors.

Onirim is a solitaire card game. You must beat the game by collecting all eight dream doors before you run out of cards. You can get them by playing cards of the same colour for three consecutive turns or by discarding one of your precious Key cards when you draw a Door card. In both cases, you will need to make the best use of the cards you have in your hand while paying attention to the Nightmare cards. These cards are mixed in with the others, and if you draw one, you will be faced with a painful choice.

In addition to single player play, Onirim offers players an intuitive interface, automatic deck management and statistics that measure progress and success.

Onirim includes the following elements:
- Shadi Torbey's Onirim base game in solo mode
- The original illustrations of the base game by Philippe Guerin and Élise Plessis, with animations
- A solo game mode
- A detailed interactive turn-by-turn tutorial integrated into the game
- Statistics recorded offline to allow you to see your progress
- No purchases or ads in the application
- Supported languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish

Latest expansion has bugs but great game otherwise. I'm glad this game keeps getting expanded because I really enjoy each new mechanic. They've also addressed some issues with speed and frame rate that definitely make the app shine! However, the latest expansion has some bugs. Sometimes the Chromatic Chaos denizen fails to trigger. Thus, you make a match of three cards you've already got all the doors for in that color expecting to use then denizen you've rallied to open a different color door, but you do not get the option and instead the deck just automatically reshuffles. Other times you get all of the other doors with Chromatic Chaos symbol. Also the Hammer Bird doesn't always trigger correctly. Sometimes it includes too many cards and other times it includes too few cards. For example, let's say these are the cards you've last played: red red multicolor green green green. If you play the Hammer Bird, you expect it to remove all the green cards. Sometimes that works, but sometimes it takes the green cards and the multicolored card too. At that point, playing another red card doesn't trigger a door like you might think, so it's almost like the game doesn't realize it took an extra card. Fix these and keep bringing us more expansions. 😀

I wish they’d add more expansions.... New update made an already great game nearly perfect. Buy the update. It's awesome. I have around 200 games played so far. I'm not stopping anytime soon. Two expansions have been rolled out so far, and I know there are a bunch for the physical card game, too, so I'm guessing they'll keep adding more stuff if we keep playing.

Please speed up animations dramatically. It’s great to see this app finally getting support again, but you’ve now made the animations bafflingly slow and have totally removed the ability to speed them up by holding on a blank spot on the screen. Why? Even at top speed, everything is extremely, unpleasantly sluggish. I used to play this app almost daily, but since this update, I get bored before I can even finish a game because I have to sit and watch for minutes at a time while the app sloooooooooowly shuffles through everything. Again, good to see someone caring at all about this app, but you’ve only made it worse at this point.

What happened to faster animations. I don’t know what happened recently, but the ability to hold your finger on a blank spot on the screen to speed the game up is gone and makes for a really frustrating experience. I have played this game over 5500 times and one BIG reason is that it is quick to play…when the animations are sped up. Please bring this back for a better rating.

Great solitaire (canfield) alternative. Solitaire relies on a good deal of luck... This game gives you a lot more alternatives to think about and strategize... planning your next move based on what has been played is key. luck is still a factor ( i got eleven sun cards in a row once) as is with nearly all card games but you have more control and options and that makes it more interesting

Fun once you get use to the rules. However it's annoying how the dark creature card gets drawn too often (I got it twice in a row) and too many times throughout the game to enjoy, becomes very frustrating after the first day. Other than that, cool game!

Great fast little fun game. Why am I still seeing an ad at the beginning of the game when I paid for the game? Wow, this game has grown and keeps growing! If you are looking for a fun solo game, get this. First, the game started with the basic version. It was fun. Then they added a second expansion, then third. There are so many different ways to play. Asmodee is supporting this game and expanding. Awesome. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm willing to pay for the expansions. Second, this is an easy and quick single player card game. It is fun and there is some challenge to it. You need to think because your choices effect the outcome. Third, there are now achievements. They are a fun little addition to the game. Latest comment: I still think this is a great game, but despite what Asmodee has been saying there are no new expansions. I think this is all we will get.

Great game.. The tutorial makes this gam easy to learn. It is very challenging in terms of luck sometimes. The first several games I played after the tutorial went downhill immediately after I found my first or second door. I couldn’t get the cards I needed and kept getting spoiler cards with no ability to come back way before cards ran out. I played about 3 games like that before I got a decent deck where strategy played a bigger role than the bad luck. That may be comparable to the actual card game and doesn’t change how I feel about the game, but too many unwinnable games in a row will be frustrating.

LOVE THIS GAME! 100% Recommended. I really recommend this game to a lot of people, it’s free and based on strategic play and luck. You can also play this game with real cards, you would just have to buy it, just like I did. I hope you like this game and play it and share it with others! 😊

Fun, but way too hard. The difficulty is insane. I’ll be doing amazing at the start, then suddenly draw nightmare cards left and right and lose all cards in my deck, end up not having the cards to win. So far I haven’t won a single game, even with no expansions turned on. Generally doesn’t want me to buy any of the expansions to make the game further impossible. It’s HIGHLY based on luck.

Great implementation of a wonderful game. The app all but replaces the original game for me. It is perfectly implemented, and the artwork/graphics really draw you into the Oniverse. The best part about the app is that it takes care of all of the shuffling for you, which is a huge bonus. If it contained every one of the expansions present in the second edition of the physical game (plus add-on expansion packs), this would absolutely replace the physical version of the game for me. As it stands, I’m glad that this doesn’t actually have everything I could have physically, because I do enjoy bringing out the physical game from time to time, and that would increase the barrier for me. This is great for a quick 5-10 minutes when you have nothing to do, or for playing game after game, trying to unlock the dozens of in-game Game Center achievements.

It’s as exciting as Zee Garcia said it is!. It is well known for those who follow Zee Garcia from The Dice Tower that he adores this game. I’ve never tried it because there’s a lot of shuffling involved. This app works beautifully and takes away all the downtime of shuffling and searching the deck for the door cards. Well made, Asmodee!

Bring back ability to fast forward. I’ve played this app 5-10 times everyday for the past year. Loved it. I’ve grown used to rapidly flipping through shuffling animations by pressing somewhere on the screen. For some reason, this feature was eliminated with the latest update. The game is way more tedious now that it’s forced to slow down (even with the ability to toggle animation speed in settings). It’s frustratingly slow now that I can’t speed things up at a finger press during gameplay. I regret installing the update- please bring back the ability to fast forward.

Great solo card game. Thank you, new developer, for acquiring this game from the prior owner and updating it to work properly. So good to have this back! This is one of the best solo card games out there. Simple enough to not be off-putting to a casual gamer, but complex enough to keep you interested. And the expansions add even more interesting elements once you get the hang of the basic game, so you can change things up each time you play. Perfect to play on a short work break since games only take a few minutes. And I’m so glad it’s in portrait mode, I don’t like landscape games. It’s good on storage and battery too. The only glitch I’ve encountered is that sometimes it crashes when Game Center loads. But if you try again it works. No biggie, and I’m sure they’ll fix it at some point. Thank you for updating the app!

Fun, good effects, one annoying bug. It’s a fun game that makes you really think through probability and logic in different ways. I love the Nightmare sound. One very annoying bug is that sometimes the UI won’t let you discard. It takes several tries before it recognizes that you’re trying to discard.

Great game, wasted app. I’m glad I bought a physical copy of Onirim when I did. I originally discovered the game through this digital version, but sadly it seems it’s become nearly unplayable over time. I was miffed to lose my expansions after the app changed hands, and now I’ve revisited the app only to find it extremely glitchy: if it loads at all (if Game Center doesn’t crash it at launch), the pull-down for the settings menu renders a black screen, then a freeze before crashing to my Home Screen. Restarting the app, I can begin a new game, only for it to blackout, freeze, and crash as soon as I begin tapping to move cards. The biggest benefit to this app was the ability to hop into a quick game without needing to shuffle all the necessary cards myself. Big win for analog. Go buy the real Onirim & an automatic card shuffler; this app is barely hanging on by a thread, and the physical game has the benefit of multiple expansions bundled into one gorgeously compact box.

Loved it until update. It's speeded up and no longer the relaxing game. I loved to play. No matter where I put the animation rate, it's racing along. I don't know what limit frame rate means. I'll keep trying to find out how to slow it down. Better yet, give me the choice to slow it down. I love the game.

Great for when you need to fill in some time. This game is challenging, with a good balance of skill vs luck. I know the cards are random, but it can seem like those nightmares are out to get you. It is a great game for when you need to fill in some time, as a single round doesn’t take very long. I know this is also a physical card game, but I actually prefer the app, as it shuffles for you. Highly recommended!

Could be fun. I actually really like the basic concept/gameplay of this game, but the nightmare cards are frustrating as hell for me, and takes all the fun out of it. It’s so hard to play when almost every turn, you get bombarded with 3 nightmare cards in a row and basically shoots you in the foot. At first I thought it was a one off, but it’s almost every game. At this point, I feel like it’s rigged.

Good, but glitchy.... It's a credit to the developers that I find this game so fun on the iPad, since I wasn't a fan of the original card game. I liked it so much that I immediately bought both expansions. Unfortunately, there are a couple of glitches that reduce the enjoyment from "five stars"... First, on the latest expansion, there is some lack of clarity about the order of cards being put back on the deck when using the "re-order" feature. Sometimes it seems like the leftmost card is next up, and sometimes it's the rightmost card. This is making me a bit crazy since I can't exactly reproduce the issue and then compensate for my misunderstanding... Second, when re-ordering cards during a "prophesy" (at least with the latest expansion turned on), the game provides no way of actually exiting the card re-ordering pop-up! As a result, I'm currently in the middle of a game that I will have to "lose" because there is no way out of this mode! But other than that, it's great... so let's fix those bugs and keep up the awesomeness!

Not quite solitaire.. Nonetheless it’s super fun, I’ve been trying to find more challenging “solitaire” games and this is one of the hardest I’ve found. You have to carefully figure out what’s worth dropping or if you might regret losing your hand or the deck. If you enjoy harder single player card games you might enjoy this one!

Interesting Concept. This game has a lot of dimension. Player decisions are more important here than in more traditional card games, and there are many opportunities for careful thought or instinctive action. Cards are beautifully drawn, and animation speed adjusts automatically to allow a faster pace after initial learning. The only thing I don’t like is a certain rule that the player’s hand must always have a fixed number of cards, even at the very end when the deck has run out. In one game, the cards remaining in my hand would have won the game, but I lost automatically because the deck had run out. I have a feeling this rule exists to prevent infinite loops, but it is frustrating every time. That said, this is a wonderful game that keeps my interest. Thinking and planning are rewarded but not required, so there is challenge without headache.

Wonderful. Somewhat easy to learn, and then it’s just addictive! I hate seeing those nightmares pop up. Hate em! It might seem like they come up too frequently but the game plays totally fair. You can definitely develop a strategy to this. It said to sign in to asmodee and I would get an expansion or something but I didn’t notice anything after I signed in. I will be getting the DLC after a while. At 99 cents each it’s a steal. If you want to try a game you can learn quickly and that’s totally fun look no further. Try this game!!!

Great game to pass time but yet intelligent. Love this game, one of my short-list games that I always have on my phone. It is great to pass time (love this kinda game) but it's still a very intelligent one in which the player decisions are really important. Love the soundtrack, love the concept, love it all. Wish only there were more expansions for free in limit-time offers!

Anti-climactic win. Excellent game. Beautiful graphics. Love the creepy music. But when u win it is super anti-climactic like I want a song! Or some kind of a jingle. Make something dance across the screen. It makes a little two second sound. COME ON! I worked hard to conquer this game. I think I deserve a jingle. Something loud (I want the whole world to hear) cuz yeah, I’m one of those.

Fun, with a fantastic atmosphere.. I started with Onirim through its tabletop variant. This app was a must-buy when it hit the store. It's entirely faithful to the tabletop version, has a lovely little soundtrack, and has been perfectly stable throughout its life. It's better on a larger screen to better appreciate the fabulous artwork on the cards, but is very enjoyable on the iPhone as well. Please support this great company.

Easy to pick up. Game is super easy to learn, not thaaat hard to master, but even still it usually comes down to the last few cards. Perfectly balanced. Really good. Makes me want to play the actual physical game. If your interested in it at all do yourself a favor and just buy it. You'll get your money's worth. Now if I can only find the physical game at a reasonable price....

Very addictive!. I won’t lie, this game can keep you playing for hours! It’s one of those “just one more time” type of games, which I love! Also, the tutorial is thorough and gameplay is smooth with nice sound effects and no ads. BUT... Once you purchase the expansions, the game gets very frustrating! I rarely win anymore - I’ll be one door away and I’ll lose! That gets annoying after several hands in a row! But you need the expansions to get the fullest experience, so what can you do? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Overall, I recommend this game. Again, it’s very addicting once you get the hang of it, and I like the gameplay. Get it! 😁😁😁

So much fun. I had never heard of this game, but I have other Asmodee apps, and, after seeing some of the recent reviews of this game, thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did! It’s a great way to decompress after the stressful days we are currently going through. The game always presents a challenge, which keeps me interested. There are add-ons that I haven’t tried yet. I’m having too much fun with the original game!

Imaginative, simple, and fun. It's pretty simple and fun. A bit of risk, luck, and strategy. The rules are easy to pick up, and it's got a nice theme going as far as the gameplay itself goes. It does end pretty quickly, but other than that, it's not bad.

Neat graphics. I like it. This is a simple card game for one--but do the tutorial first. I specially like the art, which is very dreamy, and it's this atmosphere that makes this game shine. The Nightmare cards can really mess up your play, so don't assume the game is a pushover. The glyphs expansion makes the goal harder, but gives you more choices. You need an Asmodee account to get the (free) expansion, but it's not a necessity to play. I rated this at four stars until the 2nd expansion, which provides more tactical choices. I really like this now.

Glory with a glitch. This is a great game with great art! Now I know why folks rave about Onirim. I like it so much I may also get the printed cards. There is one frustrating element in one of the expansions. The rules allow discard of a spiral circle that triggers an opportunity to reorder the next 5 cards dealt. However, once discarded and the cards are reordered, it doesn’t allow you to return to the game. Either I need to re-read the rules or this is a technical glitch.

Game freezes with five suns and can’t play. I get a hand of five suns. Last card played is a sun. I can’t discard or refresh my hand or do any thing. How to resolve this problem. Tried contacting Asmodee digital support and after solo g their puzzle got stuck in an endless loop where my question did seem to get submitted and back to solve puzzle to verify me. Otherwise works ok.

Fun and easy to play. I have the physical copy of onirim and it’s a ton of fun, even of the nightmares pip up and make you have to discard cards you really needed. Haha! The app plays really well. The tutorial is easy to follow. Everything looks great. I’d love to see more of the expansions added to this app and hopefully get some apps for the rest of the oniverse games. Sylvion, castellion, & nautillion.

Good time killer. It's well designed, and a good way to occupy your time when you have a few minutes to kill. Since I paid for the game, I'd love to not see ads everytime I start it. Also, the animations are unnecessary. I don't need to watch all the cards move into the discard and door cards come into my hand and then move to the side, and then another and another before finally having to watch the cards shuffled again. Tapping the screen speeds it up, but how about giving the option to remove it completely?

Not compatible with iPhone XS Max. The App Store says this game can be played on iPhone XS Max. However, the game is not compatible with the phone’s resolution. I used to play it in portrait mode, but now this game only runs in landscape mode. The game font is too small and it’s hard to read anything in the game. I’ve contacted the developer last year, and received a reply a month later saying that they’re working on fixing this issue. A year later, the thing didn’t change.

Solid Card Game. This is a really good game. You can grasp the rules quickly after a few playthroughs, but it really challenges you to think through for the right move each turn. It’s is perfect when you have a little time to spare and want a quick challenge.

I don’t know. When I got this game I thought it would be fun but the game is so challenging I always get the same kind of card every game! I forgot what those monster cards are called but there are to many of them! There should be less. This game needs to be easier I know it’s the point of games to be challenging but this has gone far enough I’ll still play it it just makes me mad!

Every day I play. Seriously, I don’t miss a single day playing at least one game with these delightful cards. I think of the game as a mystical journey (almost like something Doctor Strange would encounter) through a dangerous land—where you must make careful choices to escape. Lots of fun and super strategic with plenty of replay value!

Great game!. Very easy to learn (the tutorial takes you step by step), beautiful art, and requires both skill and luck to do well in the game. My only complaint is that there's no undo option. I'm not one to cheat, but I do often mess up by touching the card to the right or left of the card I want (I think my fingers are too fat/slippery) which can be really irritating when it happens often :( I'm not a competitive person, so I don't care about my statistics, so I get how an undo button can screw with that. However, I think there could be an option to turn that off for a "rankings" game? Other than that, it's a lovely game. My husband and I are ordering the tabletop version soon!

Super Fun and Simple. I was looking for an alternative to Solitaire on my phone and this game fits the bill. It’s easy to learn and the games don’t take too long to play. It’s a little more challenging than solitaire and I’m looking forward to adding in more expansion packs to continue challenging myself. I highly recommend this game.

Finally back!. Ah, what a sigh of relief. I’m so happy to see an update to the app after 4 years. Asmodee had really done a terrible job with a lot of the apps they created and this one fell to the wayside. One of the iOS updates essentially broke it and it was barely playable on iPhone. Happy to report that inpatience has acquired and updated the app! Finally I can play Onirim on mobile in portrait orientation. There’s still some graphical bugs that need to be worked out, but 4 stars for the playable app as well as updating. This is my 2nd most played game ever, behind drop7. I have over 700 games logged on this app, and I think I had more before Asmodee erased my record one time over the years. I’m hoping inpatience adds more extensions (although just the first 2 alone make this game great), but more importantly, i hope they release more digital versions of the Oniverse series! Lastly, I’m so happy they reprinted Shadi’s games! I was finally able to pick up one of them that I waited years for. I have 3 physical Oniverse games in my collection (of over 150) and I hope to add the rest eventually. Welcome, inpatience, I’m glad you’re here!

Fix aspect ratio. The pictures show a virtual rotation being used, but the game forces me to use horizontal. I don’t mind too much, but it’s more of a windowed look so o can still see other things like time and battery percentage…etc. It doesn’t look good. Other than that, it’s a great game! I can’t find the card version anywhere, so I downloaded this. It’s a lot of fun!

Such a great port of the card game. The game looks amazing and feels a lot like you are playing the card version. The music is great and adds a bit of ambience that makes it feel really tense at times. Also having the glyphs expansion included with the base just adds to it. Highly recommended for anyone that likes strategy games.

Well designed game and app. Onirim is a rewarding solitaire experience. Games are very short (5ish minutes) perfect for a small break. There are enough strategic decisions to allow the player to improve, but not nearly enough to intimidate casual players. This game is fresh enough for seasoned gamers, but accessible enough for a great aunt coming from spider solitaire. The app is also very well designed, with a thorough tutorial and an interface free from bugs, clunky interactions, or miles of text. For $0, it’s unbeatable

Fun game, better with expansions. This is a fun game, but I got bored with the base game fairly quickly. It is greatly improved by the expansions. I find that the Door to the Oniverse makes it a little too easy to win, but that's ok because it's still fun to focus on beating my own high score, which is challenging. Still, I find that the Glyphs and the Crossroads/Dead ends were the best expansions for adding fun but remaining challenging. I have not experienced the bugs that people complained about. I also saw someone say that you can't win. I struggled at first. Wise key management was what got me over that bump. I recommend this for a relaxing game that requires a bit of strategy but not a ton of focus.

Missing tactile feedback. This is the most enjoyable and addictive game I've played in quite a while (along with Onitama); to the point that I had to buy the physical copy too, just so I could get the tactile sensation from shuffling and handling cards and to get my eyes off the screen for a bit. Since the boxed copy has all of the expansions, I'm looking forward to continue expanding this one as well. The best part about owning the app version is being able to play a few quick games without the physical real estate and setup required by the cards; which isn't a lot; but it's something greatly appreciated while on the go. This game is straight up 🔥🔥🔥

Top Notch. This game is awesome. It’s challenging, intense, fair and strategic. It just gets better and better with each session. It’s the type of game where losing makes you want to play more…and, oh, you’re gonna lose…a LOT… and you’ll love it. Great job. I can’t wait to get the card game version.

BEST! GAME! EVARRRR!. THANK you, for making quarantine bearable… even enjoyable! The mechanics of your game are ingenious, and your cards’ artwork is quite evocative. I’m very much enjoying how this app has translated their design into animations and sound effects. (The continuous background music of any app is something I usually turn off pretty quickly, but the first several minutes of your app’s background music was also fun, and quite thematically appropriate!) I now intend to acquire a physical copy of your card game as well, with the seven expansions, because your artwork is too enjoyable not to have a printed copy of. Thank you for this accessible introduction to the Oniverse, and I’ll be checking out your other physical solitaire card games as well!! 😃🧩👍🏼

Great game, excellent app version. Smooth app for a great game. I’ve had others say they prefer the app since it shuffles for you… well, I actually love the physical game; i find the short play time and frequent shuffles to be oddly calming. So ya; enjoy the game on the app, but don’t discount the physical game. It’s arguably the best in the Oniverse series.

A great game!. An amazing little card game. Would be lovely to see digital versions of other games by these guys!!

Great time killer. Very good easy to understand version of the original card game.

Download now. Perfect digital version of one of the best solo card games ever created.

Onirim. Three (3) games in and I am addicted already. Even better you can enjoy this for free, what are you waiting for?

Unique solo card game!. It's a very interesting and fun card game, although the amount of 'nightmare' cards can get frustrating at times. Would recommend my friends to try it out!

Awesome. One of the best solitaire games of all time. The app version provides a great setting and theme with a wonderful soundtrack. An intuitive game. Get it now !

One of the best. This is one of my fave solo games. Excellent port a great casual game that’s not a dumb pay to win card game. I hope they adapt the other games in this series

It's free. Best app for anyone who loves board/card games

Card game which is lots of fun. Fairly quick game of luck and a bit of logic. Recommend

Good. The closest to playing a card game without cards, also without the space and shuffling needed. Keeps a record too. Missing the expansions from the physical package but has its own new one

Better instructions.. After the main mode there aren't adequate instructions for the other modes. I had to google for the board game PDF.

Worth the time. I dont like interacting with others but i like to think. This does it all.

Fun & addictive. This is a great single-player card game. The design is beautiful, the music just right, and the gameplay is challenging enough to keep you coming back for more. The addition of the glyphs in the recent update has brought another dimension to the game. I've been playing this frequently, and highly recommend it.

Wonderful. Oh, the atmosphere! Such a clever and simple game yet challenging with every hand dealt. The suspense! 😱

Wendy. Love this game, frustrating

Great mobile version of a good game!. The adaptation of Onirim to mobile is fantastic in my opinion - it speeds up the shuffling dramatically and the format works great to play on your phone while waiting. My one complaint is about the description: it mentions “no in-app purchases or ads”, but this isn’t entirely true. To be fair though, the only ads only come up upon opening the game and they’re for other games by the same devs, and there’s just two (very reasonably priced) in-app purchases to unlock the expansions. So not really a problem, just a bit weird.

Favourite solitaire game. Please keep the expansion packs coming!

An excellent app version of a challenging solo card game. Asmodee Digital have made a beautiful digital version of the very challenging game Onirim. Onirim does not go easy on the player, but is still a fabulous single player twist on solitaire card games that even has hints of Pandemic mixed in. The app version has faithfully kept all the gameplay mechanics and made it so much easier for the player as all the shuffling is taken care of by the app. Kudos to the designers for the delightfully creepy animations and the slightly odd music, which really add the finishing touches to this excellent app. Only two questions remain: 1) when do we get the expansions? 2) will you please also make Castellion and Sylvion as well?

super fun and addictive!!!!. great game

Awesome!. A great 10 minute solitaire card game. Also, it’s free, and there’s no obnoxious advertising!

Fun digital version. This is an enjoyable version of a great card game. The soundtrack is very pleasant and sets the mood well, with the music getting more intense as the deck gets closer to running out. The animations are very smooth, and short so they don't feel like they are getting in the way of gameplay. Highly recommended.

Good solo card game. I’m preferring this to a physical version as it shuffles cards for you :) Only option I’d like added is the ability to change the amount of nightmare cards in a game.

Great game. I love this as a solo card game, and now I don't even need to shuffle. Really well realised digitally as well.

Very nice little 1p game. smooth, clean and responsive design and an engaging game. good job.

Nice. Never thought I’d find a game you could enjoy by yourself, but I was wrong

Easy as. Own an analog copy of this very simple game already. Digital means not having to shuffle every 30 seconds, which, tbh, isn’t all that hard. Stats are a nice touch, and the saturated colours of the original are everywhere in this terrific port. Nice.

Great. Love the artwork and gameplay.

Great solitaire style game. Super addictive and original card game. Never played the physical version but easy to pick up and play

Fast, fun solitaire game. Easy to get into, one of my favorite solo games. The app is even better than the physical game - no shuffling required.

Excellent adaptation.. This is an excellent adaptation of the physical card game, which I think is a fantastic game anyway. This retains the charm of the original and removes the least fun - and time consuming - aspect of the game: the constant shuffling. Highly recommended.

Great conversion. This plays exactly like the card version without the shuffling. It also will not allow you to play an illegal move.

perfect companion. Great little game for the road... always an interesting companion

So clever. Such depth for such a simple game! I really hope more expansions become available. 👍

Get it. Just a delightful little single player game. Quite challenging and elegant in its simplicity.

Constant nightmare cards. I don't play games to constantly have my sandcastle kicked over. Deleted.

Great solitaire game - weighed down by slow animations. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this game and it is my go to 5 minute solitaire game. My enjoyment peaked when animations were sped up rapidly as I could get through a game much quicker (which matched the complexity of the decisions in the game). I have now noted it has been slowed back down again and hence why I found the rating of 4 stars appropriate.

Can never win. Can’t figure out this game. The game appears to be well done and attractive. But the black demon card appears too many times. So after playing over two dozen times and losing each one I’ve deleted it.

Great game!. Bought the card version and used the app to learn to play. Fun, quick games. Love it!

Beau, simple, rapide !. Super jeu !

Smooth play.. Excellent overall. Eye catching graphics. Challenging but not impossible to win. Brilliant choice of physical game to IOS adaptation.

Quick fast solo challenge. Base concept very nice. Easy to learn. Lots of achievements for challenge and expansion are cheap so you can add variety at low cost for quick solo card game.

Patience nouveau style. Fais changement, beau graphisme, ludique... un bon remplacement aux jeux de patience habituels.

Love this, but.... No longer works with the iOS 13 update :( please fix!

Amazing. Love this!

Very Fun. Just a great solitaire experience.

A great game.. Easy to pick up and hard to put down. A new take on a old game.

Good Fun. Only played the base version so far but it’s a lot of fun. Lots of choices to make and it stays interesting throughout the game. Great choice for when you have 10 or 15 minutes to kill. Highly recommended!

Super!. J'apprécie ce jeu!

Excellent!. Très beau jeu.

Good. Fun and simple

Très agréable. Très amusant comme jeu seul

Love it!. I really like this game and I think it’s done it’s job because I’m thinking of buying the physical game now!

Quick and handy. Fantastic to be able to play Onirim in a car or on a plane or on a train or skydiving

Love it. Abstract solo card game with great mechanics

Wow!. Great game!!!

Great game. Simple to learn, fun to play. I downloaded this version while waiting for the physical game to arrive, I think I’ll be playing both.

Great game. Fun !

Wow !. Superbe App ! Juste triste que toutes les extensions n’y soient pas

Best Solitary game out there period. I never liked solitary games for the sole purpose to be boring, uninteresting and poorly made. This is easy to understand can be a challenge to master job well done 10/10 I hope they gonna implement more expansions in the future.

More expansions for this amazing game please. Did not think this would be as addictive or fun as it is! Great port of a great game. But you seem to be four expansions short according to board game geek. Any chance of adding the others?

Fun time passer. Great spin on a solitaire card game. Considering buying the real version.

Wow!. What an amazing game!!!! It’s just stunningly beautiful!!!

Good game. Really fun little game, wish the expansions were free.

Too many crashes. iOS 11.4 Iphone 7 plus Game crashes too frequently to play

Fun & Fast. Great game! Nice to play when you have a few minutes. The graphics are very nice.

Tight, beautiful game with a lot of replay value.. This is a lovely game and the mobile version better than the physical one. Very repayable, has a nice rhythm to it.

Bon bon bon. Vraiment bon

Great game. This is a great solitaire game

Great game!. I love this new take on solitaire! Great 5-10 minute game😊

Awesome. Love it! Good fun relaxing could play for hours!!!!

Great game but…. I’m glad to see the return of portrait mode, but there is a problem with the animation speed. No matter what setting I use, the animations go at lightning speed. Other than that I love the game.

Awesome game. Awesome game! I own the physical version and this one keeps me busy when I don’t have the option to play it.

One of my favourite games. As noted, one of my favourite games. 4 stars cause it’s missing the option for me to select the order I want to complete the doors in for the added challenge :p

Great way to kill time. Nice, simplistic graphics. Challenging game play. Expansion options. I have been enjoying the game (despite my abysmal win rate of 16%) 🤫😁 **Edit** Removed a star for a gaming glitch that developers have not yet replied or fixed. Understanding that there’s a delay with current world events.

Awesome. One of the best solitaire games. Based on a card game now out of print. I hope it comes back for now this is the same game.

Casual dream play. Love the idea of this card game, best fun in awhile thanks to all involved great concept

Great implementation!. I don’t play the card game any more because this make is so much easier.

Onirim. Excellent solo game. Hard game to win. Requires some skill but luck of cards as well.

Love it!. I love this game, it’s so fun I can’t get enough! I definitely recommend :)

Fun. It is a beautiful game and lots of fun! The app is pretty easy to follow.

Great!. Like this much better than table top

Terrible Game. Fundamentally just does not work as a board game. Unplayable.

Ethical Free to Play!. Finally a game with an ethical pricing model! Pay for new game modes, not for boosts or other limited consumables that are required to overcome an artificial difficulty wall

Great port.. I have the physical game and I love being able to play without pulling out the cards.

Stellar adaptation. With both the app and the physical copy of the game I find I always play the app. It is the best adaptation of a tabletop game on iOS

Addictive!. Fun, fast paced game with lovely graphics, that you can play for hours! The app itself runs very smoothly, and the expansions are a great price.

Bon jeu simple et efficace !. Très bon jeu !

Very nice!. Nice game, played the card game, love this app! Tutorial is very clear, no ads, simple, clean and fun game. Keep it up!

Impossible to win - game glitch?. Played for awhile and cannot win no matter what. For example drew a nightmare, gave up my hand, and got a night mare in every single refill of the hand until it ran out and I lost the game. 7 nightmares in one turn?! That's not random - that's defective. And it seems to be that bad every single turn. Game is a good concept but something is broken in the programming or something. It's literally impossible to win. Frustrated.

Still addictive after so many plays. I have the print version, but I like the app just so I don't have to shuffle the cards manually anymore. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more expansions (DREAMCATCHERS!)

Have the physical game and this is a great adaptation. Just want the reset of the expansions! Love the quickness of the auto shuffling, still like playing with the actual cards better but I can play this wherever and whenever I’m like 10 minutes!

Oniverse on line. I love this game, but would love to see more of the Oniverse games be made into apps. They are all a lot of fun and I think some of them would work better as apps.

Great game. Very Fun card game I bought the physical version first and this digital version second but both amazing.

Rough start. Visually appealing, sound is good, altogether smooth. Prepare to lose a lot in the beginning. Slowly bringing my 10% win ratio up. It all starts to come together once you fully understand the mechanics and counting cards.

Soothing and stressful at the same time. An amazingly balanced game. Love the cards and wish I could carry them everywhere. Finding a digital version is the next best thing.

Immersive. This game requires quite a bit of strategy and wit. I love games like this and I wish there were more out there like it! One of the best games I’ve ever played, if I could give it a 6th star I would.

A Good Fast Game. This game is quick and easy to learn, but it’s hard to win. I showed it to my wife yesterday and she’s already hooked on it. That doesn’t happen often. Lots of strategy and decisions, but a very simple objective. This is a very well designed game.

Great game!. One of the best solitaire games that I enjoy playing over and over again. The achievements are also fun, but I wish they would elaborate more on how each of the achievements can be achieved.

Intriguing. Possibly the coolest version of “solitaire” I’ve ever seen. I use the term solitaire loosely because this is so vastly different. It’s challenging and captivating. I would like if the other options didn’t require paying for them, but even without them this game is very fun to play and worth coming back to.

Best Solitaire Card Game. I’ve played the card game half to death. The app fixes the game’s one flaw, too much shuffling. Would be worth a few bucks for the app. At Free is a must have.

Easy to learn and great concept. Only played a few games but the tutorial is great, the game is free, and it’s a blast to play. Why waste ur time with time wasters when you could play a fun, engaging game.

Very good. Personally, I think the game is only good with the 3 dollar rune expansion. Luckily, it gives you the expansion for free if you make an account for the game. I like the game and play it a lot with the expansion, and I think others would enjoy it too!

Still loving it. This a wonderful game. Probably my favorite solo game as well. I have the physical version but this is so beautifully done and I hope to see much more from this series of games. Please add more expansions!

Quick but challenging.. Love to take on the go or when I have a few minutes to play. Great game. Pretty to look at.

Clever solitaire variant. Really enjoyable and excellent replay value, quick but enough strategy to keep things interesting. Haven't enjoyed the expansions as much, stick to the original. Also mystified by the scoring, mostly just care about my win percentage.

Needs an Update. I love this game but it recently stopped saving where I left off in a game. If I minimize the app and come back I have to start my game all over again. It also only supports the horizontal orientation on my iPhone 11 Pro. I would rate it a four or five if they would give it an update to optimize it.

Favorite Solo Card Game. I love this game. It is my absolute favorite solo card game I've found, and this definitely goes for both the digital version and the hard copy. Digital is great for travel - Hard copy is great for the house!!!

Absolute Gem. I have been playing this since the release until today I can imagine how many year now! Best time clipper in public transporting and before sleep. Sometimes I find my self opening this game in bathroom also why not!

Where are others in this series?. Wonderful game! It saves me from all the shuffling in the physical game. I would love to see the other games in this series - Sylvion, Nautilion, and Castellion - brought to iOS.

Good game for commuters. Saw a review of the table top version and randomly saw on BGG there was an app. Great way to bide my time before getting the table top option. So far so good, already knew I liked the game mechanics and liked how clear the tutorial was. This is a good time killer on the train- so I'm in love.

Fun short strategy game. Was always curious about this game as I’ve seen reviews that recommend buying the card game but I hesitated. After playing this game app I like it and come play it more often that I thought.

Game is great, iPhone 12 Pro Max display isn't. I love this game and have multiple copies of the physical version. I really enjoyed the app on my iPhone 8 Plus; however, the app seems stuck on landscape on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is also not full screen in landscape, making it physically awkward to play.

Surprising, deep, and fiendishly difficult. This game is an enigma, and it will have you thinking in very different ways. How can a new twist on solitaire games be so unique? Worth every moment to find out for yourself.

Great - needs the other expansions!. Love Onirim but hate all that pesky reshuffling every 20 seconds? Try the app! Game is great, but they should add the other six expansions from the physical game (8 total). Great job on this app!

Great So Far. I’ve been looking for a unique card game to play. Been looking around and stumbled upon this game. Something about it intrigued me, so I downloaded it. So far I love it! I can’t wait to really dig into it!

Good intro. I own the physical version of this game but must confess that I had never played it. I’m glad that I downloaded and played the digital version. Not only do I get to enjoy the game on my tablet and phone but my desire to play the card game is renewed and now I know the rules!

Simple fun!. Push your luck style card game with a bit of strategy thrown in so you still have some decisions to make. Quick and easy to play means it is easy to say, “one more game…” if you lose. Fun little solo filler. 🙂

Update change. I love this game but on one of the updates they took away the ability to make animations speed up by holding down. So now it feels REALLY long every time you make a play before you can go again. It really throws off the rhythm.

Fun solo game!. Sometimes your friends can’t hop online to play. That’s where fun solo games come in! There are so many out there but none as interesting as this one! Fantastic concept and even better boredom buster.

Old eyes. I like the game, but can’t always play on iPad. Any way to zoom in so old eyes can see it on an iphone? I have the 11 Pro Max, but the game is small and centered on the screen with ~1/2in black borders on each side.

Fantastic digital adaptation. I first tried this in the physical board game format and really liked it. The digital version is fantastic as well! It feels seamless; the graphics, music, and animations are great! Well done Asmodee. 🌞

Fun and frustrating at same time. This game is a strategy buster to win....excellent and fun...they also make a board game called "Gloom" that I can't wait until it comes out in electronic form....wonderful and challenging fun...

Very Well Done. I'm a huge fan of the physical card game Onirim. This is perfect because I can't always bust out the my cards. Glad this has become available on iOS and I look forward to further updates!

Last update broke the game. While the game is great, I'm having difficulty playing on my iPhone 7 since left side of the screen (where new special cards are) often does not respond to touch. Just now I had a card to remove nightmare, but no matter how I tap on it it does not activate 😕

Fun game. Great game but I haven’t played it since it was changed so that you have to turn your phone on it’s side. I wish they would put in an option to switch it. Won’t play it till they do.

Excellent!. As a fan of the physical game, I appreciate the work put into this app. It's easy to use and fun to play digitally. Now I'm just waiting anxiously for the other Oniverse games to be built for iOS!

Great card game, solid implementation. I've been interested in Onirim for a while though I don't play a lot of paper solitaire games. This digital implementation is a great way to learn the game and the digital 'shuffling' seems like it really helps the game run smoothly. Actually the amount of shuffling has me reconsidering the paper version - I hate real life shuffling and am slow at it. The sound effects and music are perfect for the theme. And the mechanics of the ui are smooth and intuitive. -v

Cool Game. Easy to learn and quick to play. Haven’t had any bug issues. If you create an Asmodee account you’ll get a free expansion which is cool. I’ve played it over 100 times in 3 days so Overall, I’m very pleased.

Just as fun as the real life version.. Simple user experience and a nice translation of the actual print game’s gameplay. Huge fan of being able to enter the oniverse on my phone.

I like it!. I like the card game. Thought I’d try the digital version. Aesthetically pleasing and intuitive interface makes for an easy transition from analog to digital play. I like playing with the cards the best but this digital version is a very close second.

Simple, but enjoyable.. Props to Asmodee for making the base game free. Also, nice that you can get one expansion just by having an Asmodee/Days of Wonder account. I always enjoy board/card games turned digital. I think they’re better than standard mobile games.

Digital vs Board. While I would rather have the physical copy of the game with the two player variant and seven expansions, you honestly can't go wrong with this digital copy... Especially for a quick (yet tense) diversion.

Hours of fun. I started with the physical game a few years back. Once I found this digital copy I downloaded it with all the available expansions. It’s a great fun game to play. The best part is that you don’t have to do all the shuffling.

Great game. Please update for iPhone X. I have really been enjoying this game but ever since I upgraded to an iPhone X I can longer play in portrait, when the app is opened it forces me into a small landscape window. Please update the app!!

A less boring solitaire. This is a fantastic little game to play while wasting some time. I just got it and I’ve already played it a dozen times!

Solitaire with high replay value. I bought this game at least a year ago and I still play it. I have two expansions now and I varying the game by combining them. I will surely buy the third expansion. Excellent value.

Amazing game!!!. This is one of the best solitaire games out there and the app functions even better then the table top version because it shuffles for you!!! This is a must have for people who collect designer TTG’s.

Frustrating update and ads. Pop up ads after paying multiple times. Difficulty factor also seems to have been increased drastically with latest expansion. Detracts from the fun somewhat.
