Not worth the download.. This app isn’t anything to get excited about. There is a bare minimum of what you can do with a basic membership, meaning you can set the age and distance for filtering who you see. Everything else, you have to upgrade to a premium membership for. Also, you’d think that the administrators would weed out dead profiles and scam/catfish profiles, but you’d be wrong. You keep getting messages from people looking for “long term relationships”, and either they’re after your personal information, or they’re trolling catfish that can’t take ‘no thanks’ for an answer. Overall, a disappointment. I tried this app again after a few months, just to see how/if it had changed, and it hasn’t. Don’t waste your time getting this app, no matter what the 5star reviews say. You’ll get better results on apps like GROWLr and Scruff, and you’ll be a lot happier.

Huge waste of time. As others have noted, this app is full of fake profiles of men who claim to want “a serious relationship” but are just bots. When the distance keeps changing from a few miles away from you to over 5000(!), you’d think the developers would be able to weed these idiots out. That they do not or will not says a lot about them. Other apps I use do not have this problem. I tried this a second time after being gone for a few months but if I wanted to sift through the weeds to get to the flowers, I would have taken up gardening instead.

Great app!. I like the features. They seem much better than some of the other apps. I also like that you can see multiple pictures of guys without having to bother them. It seems like a great app overall, but the only drawback I see is there don’t seem to be many people in my area using it yet.

Nothing but spam accounts. This app is horrible, I downloaded the app and setup my account easily? It was easy to use but over a matter of minutes I had forty messages from accounts with the same name and profile picture sending me links to outside dating sites that try to steal your credit card information. No matter how many times you report them and block them they keep coming. I rated this app a one star because of the companies lack of control over account verification and user safety. Fix the app. I will never download anything from this developer again.

I have tried other apps and was very disappointed with the "boys" who try to be like men grown up... I know with every app there are bumps and hurdles the road... kudos to you for developing an app for men by men who enjoy the grizzly of men 🐻🐾🐾🐾... Not much new, lots of fake profiles. A well made app that unfortunately does not have much that makes it stand out from the crowd of gay dating/hookup apps. The one feature I thought could be useful is their “verified” status. Sadly this does not seem to be something well integrated into the rest of the app. Two stand-out negatives earns the app a two star rating (and deletion from my phone): hiding the “who visited your profile” feature behind the premium wall, and the real problem the app has with fake profiles (in other words, scammers). They seem utterly unable or unwilling to curb this problem. This makes the app so not worth my time.

MassageMagic. I joined Grizzly an hour or so ago. I’m thrilled as I’m already in deep conversation with several guys. The app flows so smoothly compared to others I find it amazing. It gives me pause to seriously consider deleting some of other the other apps I use. I’m seriously considering Grindr them into a Hornet nest. 🤔 Thanks Grizzly for being here for the real guys in my area.

Great App!!. So happy that I discovered this app!! Easy to use and I’m liking what I’ve seen so far! Love the layout and the ability to use your password to open the app as a whole. There have been times I’ve accidentally opened an app in mixed company that I didn’t intend to open. Looking forward to see future updates that will make this app even greater!!

App change. It’s not a bad app it’s just that when you are asking for specific things on your profile you can’t find people that fulfill the requirements and you end up with people that doesn’t respect you and are annoyed with the rejection and you always ends up alone again ! I know that this is happening in every dating app but you know hope always dies in the end!

Great App. I really enjoy the apps ease of use. It’s simple to view profiles and contact other members directly from their profile. I find the picture, gif, voice recording and location options in the messenger to be great ideas! Of all the apps that I frequent Grizzly is quickly becoming my favorite to use.

Could be better.. I don’t normally write reviews but I have to say this app is not what you would expect. There is no way of telling what guys are near you... at all. You literally have to go to their profile to see but even then that could be wrong. I get sooooooo many messages from fake profiles that I don’t know who is real or who is fake. Dudes that are 6000 miles away wanting to be your sugar daddy. I generally thought that everyone had to verify themselves but I guess not anymore. To be honest i had high hopes for this app and I have yet to meet anyone on this app. Been on this app for a year now and somewhat still have high hopes for this app. It isn’t all bad though, I love the design of it and the functionality of it. That’s literally about it though. Download at your own discretion but be warned of the fake profiles.

Don’t bother!. **Edit** If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your time with this app. More scams then genuine people that actually interact with you. I gave it a week or so to test out the waters. But I can honestly say that I was not impressed by the person whom choose to flock to this site. I downloaded another app at the same time to see which would be more responsive. The other app was and I wasn’t asked for my bank information, credit card verification, and what cell service provider I used, like I was on this app. I tried to message one of the admins to know they need to deal with these issues. They basically brushed me aside. So do yourself a great service and don’t even bother with this app. You have better things to do than to waste time. But overall, Customer service 1/10 User Interactions 3/10 Design and layout 9/10

Great concept, too many scammers in it!. They have a great concept and platform. But they need to implement a better way to detect fake and scammer users! Talking to people miles away should be a Premium. This way I can probably stop getting contacted by 10-15 fake men (All ridiculously handsome; yes the scammers are so stupid they only use super handsome pics they steal from people on Facebook and Instagram and it is so easy to detect). I was even once contacted by this Instagram personality! They dont even know some of these pics are from famous people. So sad!

Horrible site. Here goes my first review ever. But after a few days checking out grizzly, i deleted the app. The site was so horrid that I decided that it would be my first review. Within minutes of My first log in, I received over 20 messages out of 22 that were fake or scammers. After a few days, that number multiplied like crazy. Wow! I’d never even heard of the Hangout app until most of the fake profiles demanded I download to continue our conversations. Lol. Fortunately, I knew better and said no thanks to joining that app. STAY AWAY from Grizzly. It is a horrible site. Well unless u are into scammers and fake profiles. Bye Felicia!!!

Very easy to use. This app is very easy to use. There aren’t a lot of extraneous and/confusing options. The app interface has a simple look and feel - it’s very obvious to a new user which icons access which area. I’ll be trying out the premium features to see how they work, and will update this review with my feedback.

A sea of scammers and bots. I’ve used all the dating apps, some better than others, but this one is absolute garbage. If you want to have your phone blowing up nonstop with messages from blatantly fake accounts trying wanting to chat on kik or hangouts to try to steal your personal information, this is the app for you. As soon as you click on the profile pic for one of these scammers the app gives you an error message that there is no registered email address associated with the account. Support staff claim they’re “working on a system to eliminate the bots,” but clearly the platform is compromised and their security has been seriously breached. I’ve had it for a week and have reported an average of 23 fake accounts every day since. If you’ve never used it, don’t. If you have it on your device, delete it.

Tried to Bribe a Five Star Rating. The app is okay. I would have given it two stars, but an admin offered to give me a month of premium membership, for free, if I left a five star review and sent him a screenshot. Sorry, but you can’t buy my rating. Other than that, the app functions okay. Unfortunately, it is full of spam profiles. I was bombarded with fake messages from hundreds, even thousands, of miles away. UPDATE: The developer responded to rating saying that the free premium membership offer did not require a five star rating. That is a blatant lie. I saved a photo of the conversation clearly stating “send me a screenshot of the rating and the membership is yours”.

Decent. Having used it a bit more, I decided to review it in greater detail, but just to be clear, I seriously doubt the credibility of any 5 star review on here and instead suspect most of them are merely trying to inflate the actual rating of this app. Issues: Very limited features without premium. - Can’t see who viewed you, which comes standard on several competitors’ apps like GROWLr and Scruff. (You’ll get an annoying notification that someone viewed you but can’t tell who) - Most search parameters are locked. (Can only adjust age and distance) - Far too many fake profiles. Beware “Sugar Daddies”. (Not as bad as Grindr, but the fake profiles get annoying.) - The grid of nearby is not even sorted by distance. (This is a standard feature across all similar apps....) -If a premium member contacts you, their message will always appear “unread” unless you respond. (In other words, to get rid of the little badge notification of a new message, you’ll have to either respond to the fake sugar daddy profile, or delete them as they come.) Pros: - The UI looks fresh and unique. - Did notice new people nearby I hadn’t seen on the other apps I use. Summary: Overall a decent attempt, but the longevity of the app will depend upon how effectively the developers can remove the fake profiles as well as easing up on “premium” features that come standard on all other competitors.

J Cuban. The Grizzly App is new to me and a huge disappointment!!! I would say that about 75% of the profiles are fake...which is disturbing to say the least. The pics of course, are too good to be true. Sadly, you get an email telling you that someone is interested in talking to you, and after a few greetings you realize that they are looking for a “long term relationship” which in reality translates to a Visa!!! Remember guys, the US government prohibits their military personnel to disclose their location, so when someone tells you that they are in a Peace Keeping Mission somewhere in the Middle East, it’s completely FAKE. Also, pay attention to the GPS location please. It seems that most profiles originate from the same places...which should be a red flag! The face does not match the age...another red flag! This App is a huge disappointment and a set back to all us as it represents an insult to our way of life and a complete and total advantage of who we are as a community! PLEASE BEWARE!!!!

More Features Need To Be Standard. Been using the app for a few days now and it’s pretty good! Love the verification feature, chat window functions perfectly, and Lubo from admin was super welcoming and helpful when I was getting set up. However, like the title says, more features need to be standard. With the free version I can’t see who viewed me, or favorited me, or more than 50 nearby profiles—who for some reason are NOT listed from closest to farthest. Other than that, it’s a good time!

Unfortunately limited .. privacy issues unless you pay!. Can’t even properly try it out , it’s so limited .. especially with privacy.. want even the most basic Privacy? Gotta pay .. want to do a basic search ? Gotta pay .. I can’t even give it a proper trial to see if it might work for me .. no wonder it’s failing to reach people .. I’m seriously shocked at how out of touch these app creators are with some dating apps.. I’m not expecting free, but at least a fair trial to see if the app works for me .. and I live in a big city ..

Nice, but... This app has potential, good features. however; if your concerned about your privacy, they require you to pay. for example, you must pay to see who has visited your profile, therefore; if your being stalked by someone in the app, you have no clue who is viewing you and how often. also, there is a also a big influx of bots and scammer accounts on here looking to steal personal info. the admin says to report them, and I do, but I still get at least 4 or 5 of them a day. not sure who's real or fake on this app anymore. admin says I can pay for other features to be unlocked, but I feel like my privacy should come before money. beware, clicking those spam message links you didn't ask for are dangerous.

Worthless piece of crap. This app is totally worthless, in the first hour that I was on there I got 26 messages, 25 of them were fake profiles from people living in the US and allegedly stationed in Kabul Afghanistan on a secret mission, your grid cannot be upgraded when you change your location, so the same people show up on your grade whether your 1 mile from your location or 100 miles from your home base, you are not able to view who has looked at your profile and less you pay, who would actually pay for this worthless app? Growlr is so much better for the free version, so many more features, less trash and cat fishing on there, if you were fake profiles, and the location is definitely more accurate, I have had this grizzly app for one day I will be deleting it after this comment, do not waste your time or space on your phone, like I said it is a worthless piece of crap, go to GROWLr. It is a much better app for free, don't waste your efforts with Grizzly

As BAD as it can be.... Initially I thought this app would be pretty cool. Instead I’ve found it’s about as bad as it can get. For the last week I’ve been unable to log into the app. A “We’re sorry. Some of the features are unavailable due to the maintenance.” error appears and then nothing. Killing the app starts the process again. Even the “web app” doesn’t work. All you get is a spinning wheel. An email to their “support” address has gone unanswered or even acknowledged. Don’t waste your money. I’m glad I only purchased one month and then immediately suspended my subscription renewal.

Just like Growlr with a little fewer features. So it’s good to have both these apps because you can meet different people since some are completely different than the same old tired queens on growlr. They [growlr] allow you to add more public pictures and I think even more private ones. One thing that is cool and unique with this app is the fact that you can add gifs to your message without even using the tenor keyboard. All in all it has been a great app so far, no crashes and you see more and different people. Two things I wasn’t crazy about was you have to be a premium member to unlock more profiles and there is a way to see who viewed your profile but it’s a premium feature. Just download it to have some more variety.

Grizzly...GRRRR!. There are a number of gay apps whose main purpose is for bears and others to meet. I use two of them, but find that Grizzly is easier and simpler. It’s easy to initiate a chat with another bear and to keep track of those conversations. Users don’t need to fill out long and detailed self descriptions. After all, photos are worth 1000 words. Finally, it’s great to see who’s nearby.

An Elegant Addition to the World of Gay Dating!. I appreciate the simplicity and clean, elegant/efficient UI of the app. There is a minimum of commercial intrusions, and surely as Grizzly is growing and refining, the community is increasingly larger and more varied. A fine addition to the world of gay dating! Aprecio la simplicidad y la interfaz de usuario limpia, elegante / eficiente de la aplicación. New app in town!!!. I just downloaded this app a couple days ago and so far it’s pretty good. Like all new apps it has its ups and downs but overall I can’t wait for them to get bigger and truly shine. My only issue is if you’re not a paying member you can’t see who has viewed your profile, unlike the other apps if you don’t pay your still able to see who’s checked you out even if it’s a small amount. Other than that I know once this app gets some steam it will be up there with all the rest of them.

Recently deleted. It’s rare that I feel so poorly about an app or product that I feel the need to review it. I encountered nothing but people trying to scam me on this app. ‘I’m stationed in Pakistan, am a Marine, and have no money, please give me your credit card number.’ Pakistan was a 100 miles from me one day and 8000 the next. The app would show someone to be 30 miles away, but they would be in San Francisco, CA. I’m in Austin, TX. I also think it’s dumb also that you can’t see who’s viewed your profile unless you pay for premium services. There are other apps, with more people on them, that deliver more for free.. I will continue to use those apps. Thanks, but no thanks. 👎🏼👎🏼

Too many bots, but yall probably knew that. This app had potential to be good, im not gonna lie about that. But at this point, i’ve lost track of gow many profiles i’ve had to report. 9/10 times, the profiles that slide in my dms are either bots that send me links to fishy websites or they’re people claiming to be sugar daddies when in reality, they just want to scam you. At this point, i can easily point out the fakes. They either have really low quality profile pics, single/2 letter names, or they claim they’re looking for an “honest and loyal sugar baby that they want to spoil with a weekly allowance of $____”. I’m done. Periodt.

Fantastic. I recently downloaded this app and I have to admit that the interface is fantastic! There’s a high degree of simplicity and a great quality of men of all ages and backgrounds. As someone that is older, I appreciate the huge number of interests to choose from, the ability to be discreet, and the remarkable resemblance to Daddyhunt (which I’ve been a fan of for years)! Great App. I absolutely love the app, the app is perfect. I haven’t had any issues with it. The admin team will message you to see how your enjoying the app and to see if their has to be any changes. This app is unique and isn’t like any other app. This app allows users to view guys globally, down to locally. You can also send users messages, and can also grrr at users you are interested in. I highly recommend this app!!

Is anybody home?. Downloaded the app in hopes to find some sexy “grizzly” bears, but seems to me there’s no traffic on the app. Not sure if its just my area, but when I get on there’s nobody here. I’ve even got on & used the online only filter & its like only about 30 guys IF THAT. I live in Dallas its hard to believe that only 30 guys are actively searching. Lol plus of the given profiles, majority have very little to NO profile information. On a better note The handkerchief colors was a cute addition to app life, but REALLY you have to go to Wikipedia to decipher what the colors are if you dont know them by heart? Wouldn’t it make sense to have what the mean on the app so people are more driven to use them? Smh needs development & possible advertising help to get folk to the app.

Social Network with real function Grizzly. Find new friends or connect with old ones Love the slogan and based on experiences thus far not really friend base yet but I keep trying. As to operation this site has everyone asking too many questions that should be addressed in the profile with a standard list of questions. It’s pleasant to ask for a about two peoples worth of cycle then it’s a lot of typing which men are just not willing to do frankly.

New Bears on the block. I recently downloaded the app Grizzly and so far I’m happy with it. It’s a fun and well constructed app. I’m of course a user of another really great bear cultural social app as well and this app is a welcomed addition to my Social Apps folder. Easy one hand app operation for the most part when browsing adds, sending a Grrrr and checking out pics. Although I did experience Bit of a delay with loading smoothness when switching between app sections. This is a small thing and will probably be fixed in an upcoming update I’m sure. My only real gripe is a glitch that resets your filters when you leave the personal adds browsing section of the app. Adjusting those sliders to the desired position is like an app mini game lol. It gets old having to reset It constantly. Other then that, I like this app a lot and will continue to use it. Thanks for the cool app, guys!

Great way to get scammed. *** Edit I'm also like 90% sure the developers ARE the fake profiles. I'm reporting app to Apple for removal. Totally unsafe app**** Seriously I don’t know how this app has more than one star. There is no protection from fake and spoofed profiles. Users in west Africa and other fraud ridden countries are spoofing geo locations and claiming to be military service members who “just want someone to love” and all they ask is for you to switch to google hangouts or WhatsApp then say they need money iTunes gift cards or steam gift cards. Do not be so naive as to fall for this crap. Come on developers get it under control. Especially if you expect people to subscribe to your premium. At least I don’t get these kind of crap profiles on Grindr Growlr or Scruff. DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING IN THIS APP.

The potential is evident. The more this app catches on with our fellow buds I can already tell that it will be right up there with the best of them. I truly feel less judged by the guys here which is comforting to me. Technical support has so far been top notch and are clearly there to provide you with the satisfaction you desire. So what have you got to lose... try it out.

Grizzly. The first thing you notice when opening the app, is the clean interface incorporating just the right ergonomics with clean design elements throughout each section. There is a logical approach to completing the initial sign-in, then populating your profile with images that represent you and your life along with your personal info and basic stats. I live in a large metro area, so I did expect a good representation of the handsome men in our community with a true diverse representation of the demographics of the place I call home. Customer support was quick and helpful with questions. Thanks.

Grizzly, the app for your next connection!. So just got this app for a few days now and it’s been a great experience, no lagging, does not close on you at all and the app works great, I’m able to see many profiles with multi pictures in them. Also easy to reach out to anyone you might be interested in and the hanky color list gives you the opportunity to let your own personal kinks out there with no judgement. Try it, it’s a great app and a new way to meet hot hairy men from around the world, have fun and be safe. 🐼❤️

Great App so far. I downloaded this app from a recommendation from another user. I must say, I am pleased so far with it. I like that their are some different guys on here than the usual bear apps. Unlike some on here, I haven’t yet gotten inundated with scammers so the admin must be doing a good job of filtering f them out. To all the complainers I say, get over it guys...this is the internet, there will be scammers out there. Just be smart and don’t give anyone your personal info! The Admins seem to be very responsive and answer questions/problems very quickly! Try it out!

Den of vipers. Seriously one of the worst apps for fake profiles. So many people trying to pull you off the app and fish you’re information. And on top of that I paid for a premium account and was charged again after 14 days. My account is currently locked even though I never signed out, while the only password I use is not functioning and they keep sending me broken links. Waste of time and seriously one of the most dangerous fishing sites I have ever come across. If I could give it a lower rating I would. Beware Beware Beware!!!!!

Aggravating and incomplete.. This app insists on notifying you (with a sound and a red badge on the app icon) not just of new messages but also whenever anyone so much as glances at your profile, even when that view is not available to you. Also, apparently messages can’t be deleted unless you block someone, so there’s no way to keep the inbox tidy. And it’s full of spammers — how about requiring that ALL profiles get verified? I kept reporting “tinyurl” link spam but still got the same spam over and over. I contacted an admin who had offered me a free trial of premium but never got a response (and from other low-star reviews it appears that they’re trading premium for five-star reviews, which is super-slimy). The rights they reserve in the fine print to use your images in ANY way they want are also hideous (despite repeated promises that this is changing, it never has). Don’t waste your time on this app!

1 of the BEST sites I've Ever Used. Grizzly is, without doubt, one of best sites I've used for meeting new people. Whether you want to hook up, date or just making new friends, this virtual gathering place has what you're looking for (and friends say I'm too picky otherwise... go figure). Over the years, I've seen web sites evolve from bare bones, DOS-like chat rooms with hardly any graphics to overly complicated sites that attempt to be all things gay to all gay people.... The latter are usually so overrun with sponsors / advertising that just checking mail can take 30-minutes }:-[ Give Grizzly a try.... you will not be disappointed Steve H.

Great app, good people amazing support.. My husband and I truly enjoy your app. We liked it we can search for specific way we enjoyed talking to other people on the app. And we find that individuals of our specific caliber attentive as of this app. And that caliber is perfect for us. Greatest App of all times. The reason why am rating this app to be to be the greatest app of all time is that they have friendly user interface and also shows much people online at the moment you launch the app. Also gives you access to use the app fully without going on premium but it just that the premium kills the game and makes the app supper cool so make sure you go in for the premium. Best app ever though 👍

I like this app. Seems pretty easy to use. There are quite a few people in my city in here. I was a little skeptical at first but now that I have played with the app, I actually kind of like this app. I haven’t had any glitches. App seems to run pretty smooth. I actually talk to people and not robots so that’s a big plus. I would recommend this app.

Beware.... Just a heads up: one of the admin. By the name of “Lobo” (if that’s even his real name) told me if I rated a 5 stars, gave a positive review then I screen shot it, and sent it back to him the image, I’ll get one month free of membership. Well, here’s my review: DELETE the app if you have it, or don’t even download in and sign up!. All you get is these scammers that are looking for sugar daddies, people with fake profiles ready to catfish you (and with the new revolution of the internet, you can catch them on there scams) and people trying to get your personal and private information, then yes, this is the app for you!!. If you want to meet members of the bear and such, please look into another app. But not this one. Funny thing like someone else reviewed the app prior to me, the admin. Team is just stating to “ report “ fake profiles but really are doing nothing to prevent these individuals from doing such practices. I can see that this app will not last that long.

Feeling safe.. So far it’s very much like a polished and more pristine Grindr. I like the look of the app, the simplicity to its interface but mostly the way that profiles are set up. None of us have time to waste and finding what I want to know is easy and streamlined. So far I’m not having the issues like with Taimi and I’m getting matches for people who are across the country. I really hope one thing Grizzly understands is how important it is to not make the location part of this a pay to play tact. I get really excited to see I’m compatible with someone on Taimi to figure out we will never see each other and it’s just super discouraging.

Good app, bad users. I was given a month of free premium use just to try out the app. It's very easy to use, almost too easy as I sent some fire to some people without knowing it. The problem is that a lot of the guys I see in the list are a bit far. Some are so far, in fact, that I would have to travel to them. Another user mentioned romance scams: unfortunately for me, two such scammers hit me right off the bat. The pictures they both used were of super hot military men either in some far off fort or in service off West Africa. They both asked me what I was looking for being on the app. They both insisted on chatting with me in KiK. It isn't the best situation, unfortunately.

Way Too Many Fake Accounts. Everyday I'm getting messages from over 5-10. fake accounts. Asking me to look at their pictures on a phishing link. Until the devs work a way, around the account creation process, to avoid this mess. I'd star clear.

Fake accounts. I love the men on this app but it has many fake accounts . I try blocking them but they come back. I complain to admin, no response.

The worst app I’ve used. I’ve never been contacted by so many phony profiles and scam artists. Endless messages from catfished pictures from guys pretending to be US servicemen serving in Iraq or Afghanistan and “looking for love with a serious guy”. Except their lies are transparent. Clearly looking for lonely vulnerable men to prey on. I’ve used Scruff, Grindr, Growlr, Daddyhunt, Bear411 and others and this is by far the biggest waste of time. Not sure why these crooks have chosen to use it but I give it 2 stars instead of 1 only because the developers have tried to make it up with offers of 30 free days for the premium features but that doesn’t change my issue. Probably just going to delete.

Fake scammers. I get five or six guys per day that are just trying to scammer you. Why on this app are there so many? I got a reply to this review..... your number one thing is to stop scammers..... I have news for you.....it’s not going well. Since I have sent this to you earlier I’ve had four more scammers. I alway report them as a fake account but I can change to block them if that’s what you want. It really is ridiculous the amount that are on here, they read the same script it’s not hard to know who is a scammer.

There are good and bad side to this app. There are a lot of fakes and scammers and there are a lot of real and nice looking sexy guys on here who aren’t out to scam anyone. But the ones who are out to scam need to be removed.

Do Not Recommend, Too Many Bots. Decent app, but the community and user engagement is not there. Fake profiles/bots ruin the experience. Block and report is one option, but shouldn’t there be separate actions as well? Sometimes icon badge does not disappear/messages remain unread.

It’s great. I like this app. The only downfall that I see with this app is that in order to see who viewed your profile is to pay for the membership. This app is “okay”. Literally the only thing I’ve found useful in this app is the fact that you can meet guys with similar builds to yourself, but the entire thing is all basically pay to use. You wanna see who viewed your profile, pay to for the pro. Wanna see more than just a small selection of guys in your area, once again, pay for the pro.

Apple delete this app!. I’ve had this app for a few months now. New members are few and far in between. If you do get messages, they’re most likely spam asking you to talk on another site, prostitutes, or fake sugar daddies. Free options are so limited, you’re overall better off and safer with another app. Maybe they’ll fix it in the future, but developer responses and constant comments from others who have tried the app show they haven’t. Stay away!

Great. No problems with the app, hopefully upgrading to premium will expand the experience and make it even better. Experiencing a few troubles loading pics on other profiles when I tap on them but nothing else has been an issue.

Sketchy app. I used this for a few months but a lot of the conversations / profiles just didn’t add up. I kept having guys try to get my Google Hangout info, often the app would say they were close by, but then they’d claim to be military. A lot of the stories seemed sketch and the conversations seemed like bots. Plus, the app admins keep trying to get me to post positive review in exchange for free access. Be careful out there - if your gut tells you something’s not quite right, it probably isn’t! Back to Scruff and GROWLr!

Get ready to pay for everything. Unlike other gay male apps which allow some basic communication with other users. This one does not allow any. You don’t know who looked at your profile. You are extremely limited in searches, interacting, etc. You must pay for allowances to see who looked at you. You must pay for basic services which are free in other apps. You must pay to go gay on this app.

It’s actually a good app.. I’ve actually been connecting to some pretty awesome guys! I’ve been really liking it so far. The app is super easy to navigate as well. I’m not usually into the dating app thing, but I would definitely recommend the download because it changed my whole perspective on online dating.

Scammers App. Over the past 10 months of using this app I have received message from guys requesting I follow their escort/video accounts, “sugar daddies” in other countries, along with U.S. Military wanting me to either give my bank info or other personal info. Too many scammers on this app. Just deleted my account when I noticed some random email connected to my account. Don’t use this app! I wouldn’t rate this app any stars but it’s forcing me to in order to submit this review.

Grizzly App. I find the Grizzly app to be a better version of the gay dating apps out there today. It has a clean interface and cuts to the very decision you need to make for a guy. If that’s looks the pictures are high resolution and if it’s intellectual reasons they have an informative profile.

Great& amazing. I love the fact that you feel that your talking to the real person behind the picture when they have the verification check next to them. Still has a long way to go but definitely worth to check out.

Great App Thus Far, but they do need require at least some basic profile info.. Easy enough to use but they need to require profile info and what guys are into. Most profiles are empty and it's a waste of time asking guys what their stats are and what their likes and dislikes are.

The user base is healthy in my city as well, without too much of the user overlap one might expect. The buttons operate on a hair trigger, so be careful with your fingers—you may inadvertently growl twice or thrice by accident.

They pull you in with sweet words, then ask for your WhatsApp or Hangouts info. Once they get that, they do a little more sweet talking, then ask if they can either (a) transfer you money directly or (b) ask if you can help them transfer money to a friend. Large amounts, too. Fake members WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!. I got this app two days ago and I thought it be a great app to meet bears from the community. But most of them are fake members always asking for like hangouts or WhatsApp. It really bothers me that the accounts aren’t being identified as fake and aren’t taken down. I don’t wanna waste my time on a fake account or someone who just wants to hack into like my personal information and do God knows what with it. So if the creator or administration can do something about it I’ll be really helpful.

Bears. I recently downloaded this app and I am very satisfied with it and so far I’m happy with it.I think it is one of the best apps that you can have and in my opinion, what you are waiting for just go to your App Store and download grizzly it’s fun and well constructed.

Cannot believe they have this high of rating. Had it for a day. All messages were fakes to go to a site and then to view their fake profiles you had to pay. Realistically there are no free features to try it out. Not about to spend when there is no one around me either. I dont pay for pen pals. I live in a big metropolitan city so to have few around while other apps I use have lots of people.

Pay to use. This app is ok but to get the full experience you have to buy the premium features, and there is a lot of scammers and catfishes on this app. I found Grindr more easier and accessible to used while this app has most of the profiles hidden and make it hard to filter stuff.

Grizzly app. Actually it’s a very nice well put together app. Easy to use. There are a few profiles that won’t load and are just stuck on loading the pictures. That’s the only issue at times. Which is rare. So 5 stars from me.

Don’t do it!. This app is full of fake profiles and catfish people. You’ll give messages from guys who say they’re from your area or near you in the United States but in reality they are some kind a scammer or catfish. When you ask any of them to FaceTime or video chat they will either beat around the bush or block you. I had one guy tell me his name was “John Tony” if that’s not a red flag I don’t know what is! I wish I can give them less than one star. There so many more other apps that are better than this one, do not download I repeat do not download!

Grizzly is pretty SiCk!. Downloaded the app to see how it compared to other apps and its actually pretty great. Hasn't been buggy or glitchy for me at all. I like that you can grr or msg as many times as you want, no limits. The amount of guys in Miami is alot greater then other app. Hopefully i can find something good through Grizzly.

I will say this app is pretty decent but does have that potential even as others have said I already have been contacted by one “sugar daddy” when it seemed far to sketchy, even people sending me links to very questionable websites that I don’t even click. This app does seem to either maybe have 1 out of 3 legit people sometimes but after that you may see scammers, sketchy people etc

Basically rubbish. After having this app a few days I find it very limited. I hate they make you pay to see who looks at you. That part is rubbish. Its also very dark.. and I hate the annoying haptics n sounds. Otherwise the app to navigate. Intuitive. Fresh. Offers easier pic upload, which is probably the best feature. In that regard its miles ahead of Growlr. But.. no one is here. Its a wasteland. So what good are extra easy to load pics without an audience? I would never pay for this. Certainly not 6 bucks a WEEK.

Interesting app. So far I have liked using this app. I think it will be more interesting as more users become aware of it. I will say that some of the more standard features in some apps though are only included in the upgrade. Overall easy to use and I’m sure users will pick up over time.

Pretty chill. The app seems pretty easy to use so far. The weight section has the pounds set to an enormously high number so that may need fixing. Other than that, I like the dark colors on the app and the filters are easy to use. There is a “Grr” icon you can press to start an initial conversation, and that is pretty cute in my opinion.
