Great workouts, but app needs improvement. These workouts are fantastic and I am seeing results! However, the app has runtime errors a lot. The serve was down recently and I wasn’t able to use the app or login. Once it was fixed and up and running, I was able to use the app, but my previous days workouts hadn’t saved, my music playlist had been deleted and the process to generate the customized workouts took up to 10 minutes- it actually timed out twice and I had to restart. Prior to all this, the only issues i had with the app were that the music element would use the same songs over and over again, despite that I had added about 50 songs the the playlist. The other issue i had was the workouts are repetitive. Each ‘customized’ program uses nearly the same workouts- so it’s strange to see so many different programs when you’re kinda doing the same thing in each. So in sum, the app works to get you results, but it needs some major fine-tuning.

Seriously the only trainer for me!. I’m not a newbie to jillian. Have most of her DVD’s and used to work out to them regularly. But life happened (full time job after college, kids, hubby, etc) and found myself needing to get back into shape. Joined a gym but have never been a fan of group classes and working out on a treadmill only took my results so far. My screams for help were answered when Jillian came out with her app! I have tried similar trainer workouts before but Jillian is the ONLY one that gets my body into shape ... and fast! I saw changes during the first couple of months and was extremely pleased with the results. I don’t have a lot of time to workout so a 20-25 minute workout before or after work is just enough time. I don’t usually follow the meal plans but try to eat as healthy as I can. I love the variety of workouts.. and if I only have 10 minutes to spare, I can fit in a short workout. Stick with her... you will not be disappointed!

Still can’t give 5stars yet. After using the app for a year now, which I love, there are still a few things that could be there. You can log different meals but you don’t have that option with workouts. It would be nice to see “ log extra workout” like the Jillian dvds I do as well or a run or the treadmill and it would be also nice to be able to input “sick” when you are so you don’t feel like a looser for missing a day. I am on my sixth program right now: Transform 90 second week and it seems as though the exercises are the same almost every day maybe it’s a glitch or maybe that is how the progress goes as it is a three months program. All that being said, any problem you encounter you can submit a ticket and tech support, especially Chris Kludge, whom I usually deal with, is out of this world awesome. I couldn’t ask for a better tech support team.

Customizable!. I waited to review this app until I had been using it for about a month. Aside from the occasional glitch, it's excellent. You can choose your workout--depending on how much time you have, what level you want to work at, and the kind of exercise you feel like doing. There's even a 5k program, where you get outside and run/walk. When you switch between programs, it saves your progress, so you can jump back and forth on different days without starting over. There's a nice dashboard that goes along with it, and recipes, grocery lists, etc. if you want to add the nutrition component. The only complaint: wish I could view the workouts on my laptop, since my phone is pretty small. If there's a way to do that, I haven't found it. But the dashboard is viewable on your computer, where you can see your workout history, track your weight, choose your meal plan, and more. This app leaves you with no excuse to skip your workout!

100% Better than Previous Jillian Apps. I have taken part in Jillian's daily exercise and meal programs twice before. The first time I had great results and met my weight loss goals. The second time her app was SO buggy I eventually gave up on it. I recently needed another program to address some weight gain and was reluctant to even consider Jillian until I saw the great reviews for this app. If you are like me and hated what it was a couple years ago, you will definitely love it now. Beautifully done exercise routine videos and the meal plan is benefiting me more than the previous "just don't exceed in these areas" nutritional guidance. I also like that you can customize your goals (weight loss, shaping, 5k, etc). Definitely worth paying for. I've been using it for 6 days and am down about 4 pounds. I give the app 4 instead of 5 stars because it keeps resetting my meal selection for the day if the day is in the future. I'll customize a meal plan with substitutions for tomorrow, and then tomorrow will come and it will default back to the original plan. So I now set the meal plan at the start of each day.

ALMOST perfect. I want to give this app 5 stars, but there are flaws. The workout plans are set up great and I haven’t found any problems so far, except as someone else mentioned, if you’re moving onto a new workout, it’s hard to get setup before the timer starts due to not being able to see through the gray screen. Sometimes I have to go back to the previous move because I didn’t have enough time to set up. Once you get a hang of the program you’re doing though, it mostly becomes a non-issue. The meal plan and recipes however... some of the recipes are missing ingredients from the ingredient list or the directions are not clear cut, making the cooking process really confusing. The grocery list sometimes leaves out ingredients, and if you want to swap out a meal for the generated week, the recipe auto-sets to 1 serving, regardless of how many people/leftover days you’ve set up in your profile. That being said, if you’re going to follow the meal plans, you need to do a lot of upfront work and basically go through each and every recipe to plan your grocery run as well as figure out how and when to make some of the recipes.

It fine. I love Jillian, I love her workouts. But man I wish there was more variety. When you start many of the eight week to even three month workouts it’s just a lot the same for weeks and weeks with not a lot of change. Even in difficulty. I find myself going to other trainers Just to get variety and a higher degree of difficulty. Would be great if there were some workouts with no repeats etc., but it’s a lot of the same stuff in every “new” program. I know it’s hard to keep it fresh, but this is so much repeating. I was disappointed. My honest review is, I love her and love working out to her, but the app needs improvement. Possibly for people who like to go hard and have variety. I know you have to cater to a large audience but new stuff with different degrees of difficulty would be great. Like the cardio that has FOUR circuits of crazy similar exercises, good lord man! Maybe don’t announce every circuit so it doesn’t feel like Groundhog Day. At least keep us guessing until the end. But knowing You have four circuits of the same stuff makes you kind of “meh” about doing it and you start to search for variety. I am loyal to Jillian and will keep pushing forward with this app, but I Look forward to some new stuff.

1st time I LOVE EXERCISE!!!. And I’m almost 68! This is totally worth the money. Better and more fun and more motivating than a personal trainer. 3 months cost less than one meeting with a personal trainer. So customizable. Check off if you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced, check off your available equipment at home, and even add your own music! Choose from SO MANY workouts. And check off at the end of each workout if it was too hard or too easy or just right, and the next workout is adjusted accordingly. As soon as my 3 months are up I’m signing up for a full year. WELL WORTH IT! I don’t use the meal plans - just the exercise. But I love it. And it automatically tracks your progress, which days you worked out, and which workouts you did. The videos during each exercise and Jillian’s instructions are very helpful. And I do enter weight changes and the online app lets me know the average amount of weight I’m losing per week. You will LOVE IT!!!

The disappearing workout. I have been using the premium version of this app for over a year. I workout 7 days a week for at least 30 minutes. I use this app 3-4 times a week as a supplement to running and barre classes. Up until a few weeks ago I would have given this 5 stars. However, I updated to the latest version and am disappointed. My biggest beef is with the time of the workouts. When I start it will tell me that it is 25 minutes and 20 seconds. By the time I get to the cool down the time has decreased to 20 minutes. Even the 7 minute workouts decrease to 6 minutes. These are short workouts- losing 20% is not cool!! Where is the time going? Like I said I have used this for a year and this never happened until I updated! I track my workouts on my Apple Watch as well and the workouts are approximately 5 minutes shorter than they used to be. My two other minor issues are that it no longer gives a verbal cue when the interval is starting and it doesn’t give the 15 second time marker verbally anymore. I appreciate the verbal cues for the plank exercises where I am not staring at the TV. If these things would go back to how they were I would happily give a 5 star review. If they don’t get fixed I will be moving on to a new fitness app.

Life changing. This app has been such a game changer for me. I bought in when it was first released and have been a faithful user since. The customization is awesome - you tell Jillian your level of fitness and she will tailor the program to you. There’s even a program specifically for beginners to get you started! After each workout you give feedback and let her know whether it was too hard or too easy and she’ll adjust your next workout accordingly. You can preview all the moves before you start a workout and you can swap them out if you don’t want to tackle a certain move. You also tell Jillian whether you have any equipment and she will set up the workout with whatever you have (including if you have ZERO). This is the first program I’ve been able to maintain despite my regular work travel!! Do yourself a favor and subscribe!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this App!!! It works!!!. This App is Awesome! Everything is here...App Workouts like Bridal Boot Camp, my FAV Jillian programs like BodyShred, and even foam roller workouts! My journey with Jillian has totally changed my body! I’m a full-time working Mom of 3...now with a V-Cut! It’s time efficient and totally worth the money. I workout in my family room with just a yoga mat and a couple weights (you can AirPlay to your TV with Apple TV). I don’t have to pay for a gym membership. I can also take it whenever and wherever I go from a work convention to a family vacation. It’s challenging, but the circuits are do-able and build confidence. I am living proof that Jillian’s workouts get results. If you watch your calories along with these workouts, you will get your best body ever and feel Awesome...not to mention improving your health! Thank you, Jillian!!! You Rock!!! #healthiseverything

Love the app. To begin on a positive note: I have always loved Jillian’s workouts. I own most of her DVD’s. Having access to her DVD’s is a awesome bonus! I truly appreciate how dynamic and unique her exercises are, it truly keeps your interest when you’re not doing the same boring, redundant workouts. I previously used a different workout app for the past 10 years & I got very bored with the repetitive workouts. I purchased this app 2 weeks ago & I’m loving this app! If I could provide some suggestions that I’ve seen others also voice, the app would be even better. 1) would be great if you can input your own individual workouts (ie-runs etc) into the calendar. It truly gives members the ability to track workouts and view more precise schedules. 2) I love the set up of each separate program in the premium program workouts, however, is there a way to choose individual workouts randomly (besides hopping around between premium program workouts) ? I prefer to start my week with weight training with lower body first day, upper body second day, abs third day, total body on the fourth day, and typically run or HIIT on the 5th day. 3) when I have committed to one specific premium program (ie-low impact routine), some days seem to be repeats almost identically to the ones that you complete within next few days. Bottom line, if the app was more customizable for members, this app would be perfect!

Needs work but pretty amazing. So I’ve been using the app for approximately 2-3 weeks now. I love the workouts! I love that it syncs to Apple Watch without me needing to press workout (sometimes I forget to do that). It was nice that there was a fun message from Jillian when I completed the workout lol. Here are my cons: the app should probably have more individuality to it such as how many days a week do I want to work out and how long I’d like the workouts to be, the iPad app does not sync with iPhone/Apple Watch activity-so I basically didn’t not receive credit for the 45 minute/404 calorie workout I just completed as for as the activity and health app is concerned. As far as the completion message, it’s been the exact same one every day I complete. No one says the exact same thing all the time...even if they did, they would know that I prefer variety (making the “relationship” closer to reality). I wish recipes could be suggested based on different budget ranges but I realize that may be far fetched. And what is up with the 15s alerts...for a 20s exercise. If you’re meaning to give a halfway marker that is off...after 5s of an intense exercise hearing that I still have more than half to go is more discouraging than encouraging. Overall...if it stayed exactly the same it’s still a great workout app. Focusing on the cons would just make it more comprehensive...making it the best workout app. And who wouldn’t want to be the best?!

I love it!. I love the workouts and I like doing these in my own home. It would be great if there was a little more instruction of your form, before each exercise begins. I feel like sometimes my form might be incorrect. So, I watch and then it is move on to the next exercise. Of course we all want to get as much out of the program as we can. So if the workout is only seven minutes or twenty five minutes, I don’t mind more instructional time to make sure I understand the correct form. If the exercise is only 20 seconds, it would be nice to have a countdown at half that time, like 10 seconds instead of 15 seconds. The music could be changed around, also. I really like the option of the working out on the different body parts, abs, total body, etc. I love this workout program but also feel like I need to give some suggestions for improvements.

Solid workouts, highly recommend. I've had this app for more than five years. The workouts get results. The customer service folks are pretty responsive when it comes to issues with the app, which for me have been few and far between. I've tried other workouts, like the Apple exercise videos, but I keep going back to Jillian. I don't really use the meal planning, though I've gotten some good recipes from the ones available. There is access to the JM community right in the app, so you can ask questions and learn from others. With the new addition of the DB recovery/rehab workout, even those who have knee/hip/back injuries can get some exercise in. The free 7 minute workouts give you a taste of the full workouts. The best workout app on the market in my opinion.

Tough workouts but easy to do with active toddler!!. I started using Jillian Michaels app when I was 3 mo postpartum. She has a program fit for seriously everything you could possibly need including baby bounce back, beginner, HIIT, buns and thighs, and serious weight loss. I love that you can select easy, medium and hard. And let me tell you easy is not easy! I also love that if you are busy you can select 10 min workout to at least get something done. And you know her program is doing a good job if I am smiling the whole way through but yet cursing at her (ie my phone) on the first circuit!! With all these choices I am never bored. The best part is my baby has been watching me do these workouts since he was 3 mo. He is now 21 mo and loves to do workout with me! We run, do high knees, fast feet, jacks (sort of) and he even tries to do crab kicks. It makes my workout enjoyable to know i am teaching him exercise is fun and necessary while trying to stay in shape as a busy mom. Thanks Jillian for creating the perfect app!!

Lifelong Fitness Partner. I don’t know Jillian personally, but we’re friends she just doesn’t know it yet lol Jokes aside this women is the most transparent, realest fitness anything out there. I’m not intimidated by her, I’m inspired by her. Her well researched method to a healthy and balanced lifestyle is the most constant I’ve ever had. She is super realistic, that’s why I’ve been able to stick with a fitness lifestyle. Because, essentially that’s what it is. Her book, Master Your Metabolism 🤯 seriously changed the way I see food forever! I went from 157 lbs (5”3) to 120 in 2 months after my babe about 10 years ago. (That’s how long I’ve stuck with her) Seriously. I stuck to the meal plans, and faithfully followed the workouts even if in the beginning I almost puked. But, she motivates you in the realest way possible throughout the workouts that really drive you. I mean I hate her some workouts 😂 but it’s ok because I get amazing long-lasting results.

Love it!. I’ve tried many other exercise routines in my life and this one works best for me. I like being able to work out at home, alone or with friends and family. Things can get crazy around here so there are times I’ve stopped working out for a couple days and even a couple months. No problem with this app I can jump right in wherever my current fitness level is! I do not like wasting time, so I want to feel like I’ve worked hard but I don’t like having a miserably difficult workout either. Jillians app gives you different levels to choose from, the opportunity to provide workout feedback, and modifications for each exercise. I also appreciate the variety of workouts available and I have used the yoga, hiit, 6 keys, and several others. Which brings me to another feature I love!!! - the ability to preview each exercise in the routine before starting or even afterward if there’s a move you want to work on alone. A very well thought out app! I eat a plant based diet and the recipes I’ve tried so far are delicious! The app offers meal plans according to your dietary preferences. I don’t use the meal plan, I just pick and choose from the recipes. Everyone loves the maple coconut overnight oats!!!

Great concept but needs work to improve.. Like many other reviewers I love Jillian & love her story! Love that I have a similar story to hers which allows me to want to follow & trust her workouts. A couple things that I hope would improve soon: 1. There have been times when I do a workout & I’ll put the days on my planner to know what I’m suppose to do...I have gone to the app ready to workout & it’ll seem like I just did that workout the day before. And turns out I did & the app somehow didn’t log that I did it. 2. I can’t go to previous days to check my workouts or what workout I did. If I want to combine to workout series, it’ll only keeps track on 1 of them for the day view. 3. I m previously was able to change the amount of time between each exercise, when I went to go increase the time bc it wasn’t allowing me enough time to move between workouts. It was gone. I really liked that feature. 4. I was switching between days and when I would go to my current day it kept changing the workout (please don’t alter the workout unless I change it OR put a button at the bottom to change the workout sets. 5. Also there was a fitness test at the beginning. Is that gone? I haven’t seen it and would like to test my fitness level throughout the course to see the improvement I’ve had! I only use the app for the workouts, so I have no comments toward the logging of food or recipes portion.

LOVE!. I was so excited to discover this app. I used to use her Ripped in 30 workout religiously and was thrilled with those results. After hitting 50, my body was not having those workouts. I have been searching for quite a while to find something that my body would tolerate (without massive doses of Advil). Happy to say that the metrics behind this app seem to do their job perfectly. One week in and no complaints about the workouts at all. I get an age-appropriate (and fitness level appropriate) butt-kicking every day. The areas for improvement that I would suggest are: 1. I have had some loading issues and found that if I load the next workout as soon as I finish the workout for the day, it goes much smoother 2. As others have mentioned, some tips, or exercise demos would be great. I know most of the exercises I have seen so far from previous Jillian workouts but not all. I want to be sure I am doing them correctly in order to get the most out of each rep. Overall I am very pleased though and look forward to the results I know are on their way. Thanks Jillian!

Great content, interface could be better. I’ve used this app for years, and love the content. You can find or generate just about any kind of workout you want, and personalize it to your fitness level. However, I don’t find the interface very intuitive, and would love a more robust dashboard. For example, I’d love to see a list of my most recent workouts on my dashboard, instead of just the last one I did. Another example is the MB30 challenge, which lists different meditations and workouts for each of 30 days, but doesn’t link to that content or allow you to add that content to your dashboard. You have to get out of that page, go to workouts, then scroll or search to find. Most days there are at least 4 different pieces of content, so it gets time consuming. The Meals page is also a mess, with not much content or organization, the same recipes for years, and not much guidance on overall nutrition. They should either build it out or get rid of it. Overall, the app is very much worth the investment, but could use a facelift.

Overall good, could be great!. I have been doing all of Jillian’s workout videos for 15 years. I have my go to workouts that I know will keep me challenged and sweaty and not waste my time. There are always ways to modify when Im having off days or haven’t worked out in a while and options to amp it up when I want more! Downfalls for the app is that you can’t customize the workout calendar for workouts done outside of the app. Running, gym, or other videos. I would love to be able to plug thoes workouts into my calendar. Also I would like to override the calories it eatimated I burned. I wear a heart monitor and my calories burned are always more. Biggest thing I dont like is in the gym it takes forever to load the videos and sometimes it takes me 15 mins to get it going and stops loading all together during a workout. Lets face it that is a big time killer. When I download a video it doesn’t play at all. I own 90% of the DVDs and dont use the food and diet portion of the app so paying yearly for the same videos I own is a bummer. Would be great if I could buy individual videos that I could access without having to pay for all the app features I don’t use. Love you Jillian!!

Perfect for complete beginner. I have a full daytime job which I can't risk over some muscle fatigue as it would affect my concentration. But this is just perfect! Jillian has tons of different programs for everyone. That Fitness for Beginners program really suits my lifestyle and my fitness level. I can take it easy and I feel like being healthier is attainable despite all my old excuses. It turned out, I don't hate working out like I used to think! Even though I currently can't adapt the meal plan due to family reasons, I felt so much improvements and I'm feeling more confident as well! One suggestion that I have is that whenever the rest day supposed to show up, my training schedule on "My Day" automatically skip to the next workout as if today isn't my rest day. Hence, I accidentally skipped my rest day sometimes. Not a big problem, though. Keep it up! If this app at least stays the same, I'd be a long subscriber for sure.

Concept is 5 Star. Couple of bugs.. When Jillian said she was releasing the most comprehensive fitness app available, I thought ‘well.. I’ll be the judge of that!’ But it’s true. Meal plan and activity plan in one app is great! But the best part is NO TRACKING! As long as I stick to the plan, there’s no need to look up calories and enter what I ate. I just eat what the plan says and I’m good. One of the most amazing parts would be that the grocery list also tells me what to buy, so I wouldn’t even have to put any thought whatsoever into my ‘diet’ except... when you swap meals, they sometimes switch back on their own and, the most disappointing bug, the grocery list usually doesn’t update properly for the swaps. So it’s functionally useless right now :( The workout functionality is great! One time it didn’t register the workouts as completed on the days I did them (showed 2 days missed, then 3 workouts on the third day) but that’s not really important and hopefully is fixed with the new version anyway. So, bottom line, if they fix that grocery list issue, this will be the only weight loss app you’ll ever need!

So close to perfect. First, I love Jillian. I have done so many of her programs. I listen to her podcast and she is just wonderful. Having said that, I am beyond frustrated with this app. The concepts is incredible! The detail that went into this is just insane and we have to all bow at the level of hard work that Jillian and her team of developers had to go through. Having said that, you have 3 seconds to go from one exercise to the next and it’s pretty much a complete surprise what’s coming up next unless you have memorized every single exercise she performs. During the three seconds that you get before moving to the next move, it is grayed out so you can’t see if it’s a standing move or a lay-down move or bench or what. You find out when the grey is gone and you discover you are on the ground with a dumbbell when you were suppose to be standing in a lunge. Then you are scrambling to get into form and get your weights and bam, the move is over after you got two seconds to perform it. I connect my phone to my TV and blow the screen up and I still can BARELY tell what a move is if at all. Just take away the grey during the 3 second timer so we can see what she is doing and try to be in the correct position before the timer starts. That would make this app 100 stars for me.

Found my nich!. Love this app - workouts include music, variety, alternative exercises - their upbeat, and keeps you on track. Schedule your next work out with Jillian and get a notification when its time. Also includes meal plans, grocery lists, recipies - all layed out for you. Includes physical tests before and after to see how you’ve improved. Keeps track of calories and is sooooo all inclusive. Can even add your own music to the workouts. If you have weights, foam roller, she works them in there, or if you don’t she still has exercises to meet your goals. Very impressed. Very grateful. I do it right after work - its $10 a month (if you do $30 every 3 months plan) which is like a Gym membership - but includes so much more. A personal trainer right in your pocket, with music, positivity, and food advice right in your pocket! Totally worth it. **But make sure you have a newer type phone, old generations don’t work. worth it. I was a bit slow to use. my first 30 day workout took me about 70 days to complete. But then I decided to re-commit I’ve been doing a 30 day workout that six days on one day off and i actually show up. I also decided to try to use the meal planning option. They give you a complete grocery list for the week with the ability to check off items as you get them in the store. You can say how many portions you want how much meal prep you want to do and you can also say if you like or dislike the items (so things don’t reappear) and there are a variety of diets you can cover. I wish they would let you be a little more specific with allergies.. I’ve got some weird ones like cabbage and kiwi. But that would really be my only flaw. It is definitely worth the 15 bucks/m cause you get a personal grocery assistant and tons of different workouts to to choose from and videos with instruction. give it a shot it’s better than a gym, cheaper and covid friendly. about me - 5’2 130lbs at the start 122 now aged 32. was pretty fit until ligament surgery on my ankle last year. this is helping me gain back my calf, thigh and glut muscles lost during recovery and PT.

First time reviewer long time fan. I’ve been using Jillian’s app for over a year now. I bought it during pandemic lockdown and thought I’d just keep it until my gym reopened. I love it so much that I think I’ll keep it for as long as it exists. I’m loving her library of workouts- all my favorites and more in one place. I especially dig the workout generator because I can choose the time and body area. I also really have been LOVING the breathwork and I’m super bummed it’s going away at the end of February. It’s been really helping me with my stress level and also, as a singer and voice over actress, breath is a THING. The food part is ok… sometimes it gives me the same dish every single night for a week… also, I’ve got food allergies and I’m single for the first time ever this past couple years. So it’s gotten me to start cooking for myself instead of snacking over the kitchen sink - and it’s also overall, especially with the meditations helping me with my depression. So I think it’s probably a work in progress regarding the food glitches, but I still gave it 5 stars cuz I’m glitchy too. lol

LOVE!...but.... I am really happy I found this app. The intensity customization is excellent and so is the variety of target situations/goals. I'm fairly fit, but I get up at 5am for work and don't get home until 7:30pm, so I don't have very much time to workout these days. Well, I've seen positive results by only using her "intermediate bangin bikini body" workout, which is a 25 minute daily workout. A couple things that could use some help though; one being that I wish the music in the vids would change up. It's the same everyday and I don't want to use my own since I'd have to really sync the songs with the intensity throughout each vid and who has time for that? The other thing is that there's no real teaching for the moves and the vids nice straight through, so there's no real learning curve of how exactly to hold your body, where to tighten or proper form, which makes for injuries and not the exact results meant for the moves. Other than that, I'm sold!

This app does not disappoint.... I have always been a fan of Jillian and after trying numerous workout apps I took a chance on an annual subscription and do not regret it. I like a workout where I feel tired and like I accomplished something when I’m done and this does it for me. I can take my plan anywhere with me and do workout when I travel and the sessions are not super long so there is really no excuse to not get your workout done. I like the options for training programs, one off workouts and having my data saved between my iPhone and Apple Watch. You can use the apps music or your own playlists which gives you options. I like some of the recipes offered but using another plan at the moment. If I had any suggestions for future updates it would be to have to option to choose your rest day when starting a program and to be able to schedule my work out more than one day at a time.

Great material but needs a few fixes. I love Jillian and think she has great material but her app has a few areas for improvement. I find that when I start a workout it either 1) takes forever for it to “personalize” the workout for me (a lot of time loading) and 2) it crashes. When I do get it to start, I occasionally have a video clip that will be greyed out and I can’t see what she’s doing. I joined because a friend told me she has excellent prenatal material (which is true), however, her app doesn’t always account for things that are specific to pregnancy. When I joined and synced my Apple health data, it called out my recent weight gain in a small amount time...yup I’m growing a human so that should be expected. Also sometimes she goes from lying on the ground to quickly doing things on your knees. Anyone pregnant knows that’s challenging to do quickly and without getting light headed. Finally I would ask the app developers to consider adding more music. I’m 30 days in and have heard the same 3 songs. I get licensing music is hard but the competition these days for at home workout material is fierce so if she wants to compete it needs to not get so boring so quickly.

Great app. I really like this app - I appreciate Jillian’s coaching style and that you can view the moves with directions before beginning the workout and that you can switch them out to something else if necessary for your body. I also greatly appreciate the variety of workout plans available. A few things that I wish would be fixed or improved: slightly more variety to the general provided music (great base just could use a few more general songs so they don’t repeat before the end of a 20 minute workout), sometimes the interface has some bugs (but that’s unavoidable I guess), and last but not least I wish that I could link this to my Fitbit!!! Instead, I have to manually log it into my Fitbit tracker but that is by far the biggest thing I see to improve upon. I understand this may be a Fitbit brand issue and that the two will never link but I think it would be so great if it did! Id also love to see a stretching program (like how the workouts are done) but one that’s focused on good quality stretching. Overall I’m happy with the app though, it motivates me to workout because I can do it at home and I detest going to the gym.

A LIFE STAPLE. I love this app and it has truly changed my life. Prior to downloading the Jillian Michaels fitness app I had never exercised before. I didn’t know where to begin but having gained the “COVID 15”, I needed to do something about it so I came across this app and I’m so happy that I did. It has taken me through so many stages of my life including prenatal fitness as well as postnatal fitness. I initially started this to lose the 15 pounds I had gained and to feel healthy but I’ve gained so much more. I would truly recommend this to anyone especially if you have no exercise experience. I started off with the Fitness For Beginners and Jillian really got me through LEARNING the moves, DOING the moves, and pushing me through FINISHING the program. The app grows with you and offers intermediate and experience level fitness as well. The annual payment I made for this app is the best investment I’ve ever made. I can’t wait to keep growing in my fitness journey with Jillian and I’m so very thankful for this app.

Will I continue? Not sure yet.. Biggest pet peeve: sometimes right or left isn’t mentioned when it seems like it might be important (certain lunges or punch combos). Maybe it’s not a big deal but I try to alternate when I remember. If there’s too much space between the first and second rep...it’s possible I forget. Also...sometimes it feels phoned in. You hear and see a lot of the same stuff. I realize this kind of thing takes a ton of work, planning, editing, voiceovers...but maybe 4-6 options instead of 2-4? If you want people to stick with this, variety is the spice of life. Doing the same exercise every day and hearing the same thing makes me wonder if I couldn’t invest my money and some thing with a little bit more diversity? I’m about a month into the 90 day program so we shall see if things change but I have a feeling I kind of know what I’m in for at this point. Still going to finish, but you did ask for feedback!

App layout needs major work.. Was hopeful at first, this program seemed very inviting. And seemed like it had a lot of variety and options. However compared to other programs this one really lacks. I don’t like the workouts being time based versus counted reps. My brain just focuses on how much time is left per interval and I don’t do my best. (This is really a personal preference thing). The menu seems okay. However it’s set up is terrible and WAY too many menu items repeat themselves too soon. I want way more variety. And I’d like to be able to easily glance at a week and see what I’m going to eat each day so I can plan and look forward to. It’s very very hard to go back days or swipe forward days to check out possible meals you may or may not want to try. I hate that the most. Overall, Sweat by Kayla Itsines far exceeds this program, and I went into this with an open mind and wanting to like it. It’s just not for me at all. Maybe if the meal plan was laid out better I’d still give it a try. Very poor app layout that needs work to be more simple and user friendly. Wouldn’t recommend.

Amazing - wish I could cast this to my tv. I’ve had my subscription for a couple of weeks now and am absolutely loving it. Jillian Michaels has been a real inspiration to me and continues to be a constant positive influence (which I’ve always appreciated and love about her - THANKS JILLIAN!) - that vibe has definitely carried over to this app experience. The only thing that I can say that would improve this experience is to add in the function to cast this to the tv like maybe via chrome cast. I find that to be a huge benefit that other fitness video streaming services do and I was disappointed that I can’t do that with this app. Otherwise, usability is easy, navigation is effective, content is fantastic. I’m impressed by the workout generator for quick 7 min workouts. I’ve been really using this to supplement another routine from a different fitness streaming service that I’m doing for that extra push when I’m feeling energized.

Great app. I just completed week 3 and right from the beginning I noticed my body shape was slowing changing. My weight has remained about the same but my arms and legs are getting some definition and my clothes feel a little bit loser. I was going to the gym and found myself doing the same cardio and same basic exercises but not pushing myself. I’m doing the Slim 60. I’m getting used to some of the exercises but some days I keep pausing every 40 seconds out of breath. Because of this I take 30-45 mins to complete a workout. I don’t like the meal plan. They require A lot of ingredients that I don’t use in my kitchen. I also eat out a lot so maybe having some popular restaurants menu included would be helpful. Last thing I would like to see a variety of music to keep me motivated. Overall I’m happy I found this app. I plan to try it for several months and maybe get the annual subscription.

Never had a big problem, guess I’m lucky.. I've had the app since it came out. I've seen it change many times from the purple pink gradient to the basic white and black now. It has added many other trainers, all her previous DVD's, some mediation, at the gym workouts, audio workouts, walk/run, pregnancy programs, meal plans, personal profile and a community to talk to people about your struggles or just encouragement. It has quite a bit. I dont know the current price plans (im locked in 😏) but she posts discounts every so often on FB. She also posts free circuits on her insta/youtube and advice on certain health stuff if you're into that. As well as a free podcast that kinda just goes with the flow on topics she wants to chat about as well as the occasional health professional on. What I love most about the app is it's completely customizable and I can use my own music. It has music but I like my own. The app most certainly has some intense training however, I feel its catered towards the average person. Many of the people in the community only workout with just Jillian (lol no pun intended). Only dedicated people use the app in addition to other exercise avenues. The app is all you need but adding on to it with outside workouts and equipment allows for better or quicker results.

Stronger and leaner. I discovered this app and started the Slim 90 program to begin with. With the Slim 90 and watching what I ate (I kinda lived on some of the smoothie recipes! Yum), my 5’ 10” frame was able to go from 235 to 215 and I gained a ton of muscle! I played around with the workout generator over the holidays since I knew I wouldn’t be able to stick to a solid routine. I LOVE that as an option! I pick how long and what areas I want to work on each day! I have since completed the Slim 60 along with REALLY watching my caloric intake and have dropped another 15lbs bringing my total weight loss to 35lbs in 8months! It’s not overnight results, but like Jills says (I call her Jills...we’re tight 😆), if you work hard and stick with her - you WILL see results. The workouts are adjustable and as challenging as you want them to be. Also, Jills will show you step by step how to perform each move properly, making it all kind of a no brainer. I am so glad to have discovered the app!

Love! The Dream to getting in shape. I first got the app when COVID emerged and still going strong! Love being able to workout at home and the best part is Jillian’s amazing training style. Worst part about the gym is I never knew what to do or how long etc. The varied workouts and guidance Jillian provides in the app make it enjoyable to workout and I feel and see the difference. My strength and overall fitness has already improved so much over these past months. Also her podcast is fabulous. Always been a fan of her DVDs but never really been able to stick with anything consistently...until this app! I’ve never been more fit. Please never discontinue it. Love Jillian, she really is an amazing motivator :) If you’re on the fence, GET IT! You won’t be disappointed. Also...where can you get so many workouts and a personal trainer for this price?! I guarantee you pay more for your gym and barely go.

Workouts are great. Meal plan needs work. I love this app for the workouts. There are many programs or follow or you can generate a workout that you are feeling. You can swap out moves if you have limitations or don’t like the exercise. I have a problem with the meal plan though. I have some foods on my “banned” list yet they still pop up on my plan. I will scroll trough the meal plan for the week and it will be the same exact meals for all meals and snacks for the whole week. Swapping meals is confusing and It seems to swap for a meal forever instead of just for that one day. I wish the app in general was more user friendly. I’d love the option of being able to build my own meal plan from scratch by choosing from the recipes listed. Also I have taken the fitness test a few times- it gives me my results but then on the “my journey” page it’s not there- just my original test. Very frustrating

Please fix text problems!. First and foremost as far as workouts go, this would be 5 Stars. I love the variety, the ability to customize based on functional area and the amount of time you have to work out. I travel often for work and love the flexibility of being able to stream these through my iPad, phone or Apple TV. But PLEASE fix the streaming problems, I often experience significant delay in loading of workouts, freezing of images when audio clearly continues it’s frustrating because I often have to close the app and start over. And it’s not a connectivity or bandwidth issue, I always double check that. It happens most frequently on the Apple TV and iPad versions. Would rate it less for those problems alone, but the workout content itself is really great and effective.

Prefer the video library’s series over workout generator. I’ve been using JM app for over a year. I have been using the Body Revolution DVDs for years over and over so was excited when this app came out. The workout generator concept is great and I did a whole series on the hardest level using the equipment I said I had, but its not as intense as the videos get and it lacks the true motivation you hear from Jillian in the gym videos. I just prefer the more snarky side of her and seeing those other gorgeous bods’ form and interaction, so I hope she keeps making them and doesn’t surrender to the generator. I will say there is some glitchiness in the app that has frustrated me, which is a reason this isn’t getting five stars. I have sporadically experienced starting a video and then needing to pause it and exit out to my Apple TV settings to connect to my headphones or to double check that I skipped ahead to the right number workout. When I either select the same workout or a different one, the previous workout plays along with the new one. This happens regardless if I kill the app and restart the Apple TV. The only way to move forward is to just let that whole workout play. This has happened on the iPad too. There are times when on the phone and iPad that the app just won’t play to the point that I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it. I think I was relieved that it kept my history though.

Pretty good needs work. I'm currently trying to get back on the healthy wagon. I usually don't like to pay for apps cus I know I don't end up using them the whole year. But this time I decided to try out the app because I've heard many great things about Jillian. Usually I don't use half the recipes people give for being healthy cus it's not very appetizing and I know my husband won't eat them. But there are a few recipes that I've tried and liked. The one thing about the recipes is that when you click to just look at them it doesn't show which ones are breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Also I tried to buy all the ingredients for one week and it ended up being so expensive. On the other hand I like the exercises, but it needs work. Because it only gives 3 seconds to get ready for the next position and I don't even know what I'm expecting. So sometimes she would be halfway done with the exercise by the time I finally get it correctly. It would be helpful to have a little more time between each one and to actually have it show what is coming up.

I love JM and her app!. Jillian is an awesome trainer and I live how to the point she is. She’s not selling crap and doesn’t bs. I have weight to lose and have been using this daily along with walking outdoors and then eating sensibly. When I’m done with her workout I know I did a good job because I’ve got my sweat on and my heart pumped up! I had a baby girl ❤️ so I’ve got about 50 to lose. That’s really only 10 lbs baby weight and 40 from bad habits. I’m glad JM created this and the custom workouts too. The back chest and arms is great, I was so sore the next day. Also love the slim 60 and baby bounce back... man I feel it everywhere the next day. I do with they’d make the dood entry easier like My Fitness Pal with a barcode scanner and search tool for entries. Also there are tutorials at the beginning of the workout- you can preview all the moves before you start the workout. That’s huge so you know you’re form is spot on. Thanks for this! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I feel like I joined a cult and drank the koolaid, because I worship Jillian and will follow her anywhere. I cannot stress how perfect this is for me. I’ve never counted calories or really dieted but I’m sick of trying to figure out what to eat and just wanted someone to tell me. I love that I could put in my food preferences and bam I now have all of my food planned out, seven days a week. And the recipes are *chef’s kiss*. With such an amazing variety. I’m so excited to cook and eat them! Not to mention a year workout plan based on my age, weight, height, goals, and on how in shape I am. On top of that, you have access to all other kinds of workouts and all of her dvds! And after the workout you can say whether it was easy and she’ll make it harder, or hard and she’ll make it easier. Or if like me it was perfect, she’ll keep it consistent. When you factor in that you basically have a nutritionist and personal trainer, the yearly subscription is INSANELY good. And Jillian is the best. I have used her workouts for so long and she always makes me sweat. Which is saying something cuz I’m in pretty good shape and have an active job. I’m excited to see what she can do for me with a whole year of planning my food and giving me new routines!!

Good, not great. Ditto everything that katyb113 said in her review. My biggest complaint is that each exercise just ... starts. No instruction, no preview. So I waste the first 5-10 seconds (of 25 total) watching Jillian to see how to do the exercise or scrambling to grab the dumbbells I didn’t know I would need. I know that going back to re-shoot and re-edit all the video would take a lot of time and $$; but there are some simple fixes that could improve this: (1) The pause button is tiny - would be nice if you could just tap anywhere on the screen to pause and re-start the video. (2) Add a “rewind” or “back” button. This would enable the user to watch and learn for 10 or 20 seconds, then rewind to the beginning of that set and start the exercise over, so I can get the full 25 seconds done. (3) Add a short intro video that users can optionally play before the workout starts which shows 2-3 reps of each move in the workout. This would just require editing of existing footage and probably would run 4-5 minutes. Also, could Jillian smile, like, ever? She looks like she wants to murder someone constantly. I know from her blog she has a lovely smile. Yes, I get the whole “no pain, no gain” / tough girl philosophy but working out can and should be... fun! :) Otherwise it’s a pretty decent app with lots of variety and options — I’m definitely a fan of that.

She Is My Angel. In mid 2020, I began working from home, and gradually I felt separated from the world. I gained weight, felt depressed, anxiety. Put on medication. But clinging to my phone one morning for some outside engagement, I came across Ms. Jillian Michaels, and after reading some reviews and then seeing her on a talk show; I felt I needed to take a closer look at what she offers and omg I am amazed at how I feel now. She gradually have me push myself, and now I am over 100 days of two programs and I am so proud of me, and is grateful for her. I look forward to my daily workout routine everyday and love rest days. I missed one day and hated it. And that was only because I was in the ER. I will stick with this program. I love that she makes me feel that she cares, and is right here in the room in person with me. Thank you so much. You’re a blessing.

Just okay. I respect the work that was put into making these programs , but honestly these are just too easy for someone who has been working out for twenty years. I’m female and 40 and while I don’t want to kill myself at the gym I do want to feel like I’ve really exerted myself after a workout and none of the interactive programs were above beginner in my opinion. Also tney are too short. This app is good for beginner to maybe advanced beginners. There are way too many free workouts available on you tube etc that are difficult. Also the format is annoying you have no idea what’s coming next until two seconds prior and then you need a couple seconds to figure it out whereas workouts like Caroline girvan have the next move in the upper corner as a preview so you have time to get on the floor or whatever. I just did the beast workout this morning and now I’m just going to go online and do another workout bc even tho beast is listed as advanced it’s not. I have this for three months unfortunately.

Low Impact Shred. I was in the best shape of my life after Bodyshred about four years ago. I worked on getting through the program 4 times that year and built up to it using modifications until I was able to complete the program (and do hand stands and donkey kicks!), but a couple of months later, I got in a car accident. After 8 months of scans, light therapy and PT, I tried to ease into her workouts again but they all had too much impact for me and I felt worse every time. Can I just tell you how happy I am to have this app?! I can customize the workouts and respond if a workout is too hard or easy and it will adjust my next routine accordingly! I hope to work my way back into Bodyshred someday because it is a FUN program with the best results, but if I can’t, I’m discovering how to modify for low-impact and still enjoy working out and getting my heart pumping! I’ve started LOW IMPACT SHRED and I am feeling *so thankful*.

Life changing. I have been using the bring back 2020 program to get me out of my slump both physically and mentally. Hands down the best fitness app. I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and love the incredible amount of options for workouts and meal plans.

Chromecast!!. I have loved using this app on/off for many years, always coming back to it. Having recently undergone multiple eye surgeries, I purchased Google Chromecast to enhance my workout experience - unfortunately, the JM app doesn’t work with it!!! As a result I’ve cancelled my subscription because it’s just not worth it for me if I can’t properly see the workouts on my iPhone. I hope the JM team can fix this issue, because I genuinely enjoy her variety of workouts and energy.

Needs a cast option. The exercises can be repetitious which gets boring. I’ve subscribed to other fitness apps for this reason along with not having the option to cast. I won’t be renewing my annual subscription unless the app at least has the option to cast.

Love the workouts. Great workout app, tailors to your needs and challenges you no matter your fitness level. Would be great if you could have a calendar overview of your workouts for the week and a list of equipment needs at the start of the daily workout. I'd like to be able to dictate my rest day. Loving the variety and results, keeps me motivated!

Simply the best!. I have tried different fitness apps and none of them have give me the results Jillian’s has. Fun, dynamic exercises, great recipes, easy to use.

As much as it’s possible for me to like exercise, this isn’t bad at all. I have the free version. Exercises change rapidly so I don’t get bored. Part of my regular routine now.

There’s no app better!. Loved Jillian’s workouts for YEARS and this app has everything you can think of as far as training goes. Recipes are yummy and u will NEVER be bored! Highly recommend!

Dishonest billing. The exercise component was fine but I was completely overcharged. The customer service team blamed Apple and took no responsibility despite the fact that it is their app. Unfortunately I will not continue with an app where I am robbed blind. Be careful with your money.

Excellent. I feel like these exercises are effort for impact! Would love more variety in the sound tracks. I enjoy hearing Jillians positivity everyday. All in all a top app and program. It’s nice to feel fit thank-you.

Not enough gym equipment. I love Jillian so much I do and this app is fantastic but there’s a lack of muscle building gym equipment workout variety. I may need to switch apps eventually sadly

Not yet suitable for all. Recipe selection is set for US seasons so doesn’t suit those in Southern Hemisphere. Allows for some ingredient exclusion but very very limited and doesn’t cover common allergens. Exercises are good, but doesn’t prompt or remind despite notifications being on. Overall app seems slow and still has many bugs. Disappointed.

Go anywhere, no excuses ⭐️. I love the variety of programmes available and how you can customise the equipment you have on hand at the time.

The training program works. I've been training with JM app for nearly a year. They work, I am a lot fitter and leaner. I love how they have variety of programs to keep it interesting and also low impact shred program as I have a lower back injury. Having different fitness level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) to adjust to is great too.

Jillian Michaels right by your side. Perfect fitness app. Every workout makes you curse but once you are done you feel your absolute best. Most of the workouts and programs are around 30 minutes and can fit into everyone’s schedule. The audio only and mindfulness programs are also amaaazzingg. The only missing bit is yoga that’s slow and flowing. Hopefully there will be more yoga programs and flows in the future. Definitely love this app and will recommend to everyone.

Just started. Not sure yet but I find the grocery list doesn’t add everything you need from the meal plan or if I swap meals it doesn’t update. Very annoying I end up having too much or not enough, makes it hard when money is tight.

Best fitness app; daily schedule editing problems. Have tried a bunch of fitness apps - I reckon this is the best one. Amazing variety of programs, short length of workouts, adjustable levels of guidance from Jillian, customisable meal plan — Jillian and her team have done an excellent job with this app. A small annoyance is that it’s really difficult to edit the daily scheduled workout. It would be better if the user could just select any particular workout and schedule it and then easily delete/ reschedule it when desired.

Trine. I love this App, it is the most challenging exercises. Ounce you know how to do it and your body feels up to it and eating right foods then you will be fine. Anyone can do it if there with someone or done those exercises before.

Awesome!. At the moment I am only using the workout section (can't wait for the vegetarian meals!) I love the workout options, I can change my workout depending on my mood and energy levels. No two workouts are the same so there is no boredom and I can swap individual exercises if I don't like them (or if they are too hard, lol). Also the constant updates means it's only going to get better. Thanks Jillian for putting your heart and soul into this app! 💕

Never miss a workout. I have been on the app for over a year and I never felt the need to go to the gym. Workout at the comfort of your home or a park. All you need are a pair of ear plugs and a phone. Love the app.

Fantastic. This is the next best thing to having Jillian Michaels in your home. Great range of exercises combining strength and cardio that mixes it up so you get a great work out without getting bored. And for some reason I find Jillian’s voice both motivating and soothing. Works for me and I’m seeing great results.

So encouraging. Jillian has been my favourite coach to workout with for YEARS! I got so fit the. With a bought of depression and weight gain due to IUD messing up Emmy hormones Jillian was the only one able to get me out of my funk. From 74kgs to 52kgs and now from 84+ kgs to 62kgs She’s amazing. And so is this app!

Everything you need. There’s some niceties missing from the app functionality but really it has everything you need. I’m so impressed by the meal planner, it caters for all my food intolerances so no need to edit recipes or shopping lists - this is a big, big, plus for me. Workout options are equally impressive. You can tailor your fitness level and what equipment you have and even though I know it’s just an app, I absolutely love that I get to work out with Jillian Michaels. 🤗

Efficient workouts with great results.. I have been using this app since March and am still really enjoying it. I have struggled to juggle motherhood, work and exercise as I just don’t have the time or support to get to the gym or do long workouts as I once did. I can use this app at home while my toddler plays nearby & actually complete a 30 min session. She will even tolerate a session when I get home from work! Although the sessions are shorter than I am used to, they are efficient & I feel as though I have had a great workout each time. I started seeing results faster than expected and can see my fitness progressing. I am stronger, fitter, firmer, flatter & rounder in all of the right places. I highly recommend Jillian Michaels app/workouts.

I love this app!!. As I said I really love this app, How it is laid out makes it easy to use!!! I also love the encouragement when you are doing the actual exercise it makes it fun and exiting😝 The only thing I don’t like about this app is how you have to be a premium to do all these workouts and to plan a diet🤔. So because I am not a premium I can’t do the exercises I want to. But I would really recommend this app it is amazing 😉

Great workouts by a fantastic coach, but some minor interface annoyances. Firstly, I really love Jillian as a fitness coach. I find her very motivating and there has been an overall improvement in my fitness. My main complaint is that the interface could be better. For example, on the Apple TV app, there’s no way to skip ahead to later sessions. I would like to do this because I tend to repeat workouts with heavier weights.

Love it.. I find Jillian and her energy motivating, and her body a fit, toned, healthy example to aspire to.

Seriously Good. I have used Jillian’s website prior to the app, and her at home workout platforms just keep getting better and better. And now we’re all working out at home this app delivers even more. I am loving the consistent upgrades too. For instance, she has recently added all her DVDs to the app. It is seriously good.

Can put your own music into the workouts, choose her music picks, The only crappy thing I’d have to say is I can’t have it on my smart tv. But that’s minor.

Beware of overtraining. The app itself is fine. The programs can be dangerous. After boredom with several other programs/trainers, I thought I’d try out Jillian Michaels for a change. Her programs seem to be a recipe for overtraining, which is a very serious condition. Instead of focusing on one body area each strength day, all of the strength and cardio workouts in the Slim 60 program are basically full body HIIT. I didn’t bother trying any of the other programs. There is not enough rest for each body part (absolutely necessary) and intense workouts 6 days a week is just not even sustainable for the average person. I would suggest finding a more sustainable, well rounded program with a different trainer.

Great app. Better than a trainer or gym, both of which I tried for 2 years each with NO success prior to the JM app!

Worth it!. It’s great to have the whole discography in one app alongside many new workouts, recipes, and customized approach. Jillian’s been with me (unbeknownst to her) for over a decade, and I’m so glad to have another means of getting her militant, though warm and well-meaning, instruction.

Broken. I downloaded it yesterday as the reviews look great, but didn’t have time to get started. Today, I open the app ready to pay for the subscription and get going, but on my phone it just keeps saying “network error” and “can’t download content” and other errors. So I try on my iPad: keeps playing the welcome video, can’t get past it. Delete app on my phone and redownload: keeps playing the opening welcome video and I can’t get past it!! Very annoying as I was looking forward to using it because when I opened it yesterday it looked great and I was excited about the meal planning.

Great. Awesome app with good variety and ability workouts. I like the option for building workouts with equipment available and short duration for busy days. I lol at Jillian’s sense of humour 🤣

A real motivator!. Love this app. User-friendly, allows you to select body area, equipment available, and length of workout, or you can choose a program (30 days, 90 days, etc.). It's the first time I've been able to stick with a program consistently. One wish - I tend to alternate app workout days with treadmill (I prefer watching Netflix to doing the in-app treadmill routines), and would like to record these in the app workout history just to keep track of my exercise days, but so far there is no option to do that. It would be even more motivating to see "treadmill" on a given day, rather than just "no workout". Hoping for that in an update. Customer service is excellent! Very friendly and helpful. Overall, well worth the subscription price.

Used for years phenomenal. Starred in grade 9, and it got me so fit that I could enter into pageants! Always takes me three days max to feel or see results. I always feel stronger after, and it keeps me consistent. Been happy for years will always stick with Julian.!

Great app!. Thank you Jillian for this app! It has lots of options and workouts to match what results you want. The short reps make the time fly by so it is easy to add a few more minutes here and there. I also like that you can substitute other exercises in the pre-made ones. I cannot use my shoulders for health reasons so I just switch out push ups for something I can do. I love the progress tracker as well. I also feel like I’m letting my work out app-partner Jillian down if I’m a no show so I find it helps motivate me to ‘show up’. I’m way more consistent than pre-app days.

This app has everything!. Jillian got me through my pregnancy and postpartum to body and I am back on track! This app is amazing for at home workouts and going from zero to as fit as I want to be. The exercises and workouts build on each other, you can pause, go back or skip as needed and there are lots of options for build strength. I feel like the stretches could use some more variety at the end though they are adequate. Also the yoga program she just added with a yoga instructor could be a good permanent addition as Jillian’s yoga program was more of a workout. Overall I sincerely recommend this app. Update: 30 Strong Program gets results! I have been converted to the ways of the foam roller. Still love this app 2 years later. Aiming to work out four days a week - she has so much variety to keep my interest. Amazing app! Has everything for all my fitness needs.. I am a big fan of Jillian Michaels and I ow a lot of her DVDs. This app is incredible - it has all her DVDs in one place and so much more. A great app. A very thoughtful way of selling something that really worth buying. It’s a very user friendly app, where you can choose the equipment you are going to use, the meal plan and there are also a lot of additional stuff. The only tiny minus for me is that Jilian repeats a lot of things from the lesson to another lesson. It kinda of bores me. I wish she would change that.

Great workouts - app has problems. Love Jillian’s workouts, and have no problems paying for subscription. I am unable to playback any videos however. New iPhone, lots of storage and no issues with wifi. Waiting on response from help desk. Fingers crossed for current year resolutions. 🤷‍♀️

Best Fitness App I've Tried. And I've tried a lot of them. I have such a hard time with organization and getting overwhelmed by all the options out there, this just tells me what to do every day in sequence, the workouts are fast-paced never boring, well edited, motivating. Wonderful 😊

Absolutely worth the subscription. I am a big Jillian Michaels fan and her straight up demeanour and no-nonsense approach to fitness. I love that she takes NO excuses. Sometimes yes I do find myself cussing during workouts that challenge me but then later I’m thanking her for my results. I enjoy the variety of workout programs and especially the generator where I can customize. This app has never glitched or failed in me in 8 years. Worth every penny I pay monthly.

13 years and counting. I absolutely LOVE JM’s workouts! I had a section with my fist born, was a Student and Broke - I bought the 30day shred and it’s exploded from there! I play hockey, run, Mattel arts - but my most consistent and efficient workouts are JM’s!! Cheap, hard and have results!!! I do also have the BB app and I do those sometimes as well BUT- If I could only have 1, it’s JM hands down!! Thank you thank you thank you!

Glitchy. I wanted to love this but it is SO Glitchy. Ended up wasting a ton of time each time I tried to use it.

Great workouts!. Really appreciate Jillian and love the workouts! Only thing that prevents a 5-star review is the app could be a bit better: it’s lost track of my program a couple of times; it’s messed up the balance of workouts on occasion (for example, will do a left leg lunge and then not include a right leg lunge - it’s probably only happened 3 or 4 times, but is noticeable when it happens); it doesn’t notice if I’ve missed a few days (and will say “Rest Day!”) - better tracking would also help me stay more consistent; and I think it could do more with the “My Journey” (more check-ins, more interactive, more tracking, customizable notifications outside of the app, etc.). Overall very, very good though. If I could be more consistent with it, I would be very happy with my health! lol!

Love Jillian’s workouts but. I have been a fun of Jillian for many years. She designed an excellent app. Unfortunately i am nit able to use it when i am offline. I wished i could download workouts in the app.

Great content, little bit quirky app. Love everything about the content but the app could be improved. Says I have no internet/network connection and won’t load any of my daily workouts, whether on wifi or data. Also some of the exercises freeze the app in the middle of the workout and are greyed out/won’t video play the exercise move. (For me this is burpees, diagonal cat cow, etc for a little example). I’ve learned to work around it a little but definitely would be nice to get fixed.

This is the best app on my phone. I went from using Nike Training Club (free) to Jillian’s app and I haven’t touched NTC since! This app is amazing. From the seven minute workouts, to premium programs, to the complete customization - everything is perfect. Please give us even more premium programs, Jillian!!

This is the one!. Jillian succeeds where other programs have failed. The workouts are meticulously engineered to get the results you want. Combine it with a free calorie counting app and you will see results. If you’ve tried and tried and didn’t get anywhere, this is the app for you. Jillian has proven herself time and time again. Great fitness app. Love this app as it has so much variety and it allows you to personalize it to your goals, abilities and preferences. It would be great if there was a way to favourite certain workouts to make them easily accessible.

Great works but app needs work. The workouts are great but the app is lacking in user functionality. Improvements to consider: - ability to look ahead at workouts under the “my day” section vs having to launch the workout under “workout” section - ability to restart workout - ability to switch out individual moves in session vs before launching workout - ability to manually add a different workout. Example: if you chose a different exercise for cardio liking running or spin should be able to add - ability to pull data from garmin or other apps - ability to change personal settings and not have it reset program. Example if you’re travelling and you want to change your workout to body weight only or resistance bands bc you don’t have access to a gym; or ability to change your level from intermediate to advanced to test if you can move up mid program - end of workout feedback on easy, perfect, hard doesn’t seem to change level of the program overtime so does this feature even work? Overall user experience is todays digital world is not on par. Consider looking at other competitor products like the sweat app for other UX improvements

Problem with smart tv connection. Love the app, but the app could have the smart TV connection box. The mirror option slows down the videos. I have a very high speed internet.

I not only lost weight but my body became more defined, just by using her App! People were shocked to see how much I changed with her fitness app. She has a variety of workouts to choose from that are from 7 minutes to 40 minutes. You can choose to follow a program or create your own workout to fit your level. I LOVE how her workouts can make you sweat and still feel powerful and energized after! The nutritious menu with yummy easy to make recipes is a bonus along with her health tips. Highly recommend Jillian’s app!

Almost Perfect. I love that it links to my Apple health because the meal tracking is a little lacking. It gives you great recipes, but if you tweak them, the calories don’t change. I use My fitness Pal to track my meals &, because it’s also linked to my Apple Health, it transfers my calorie data to this app. I also wish there was a way to record measurements besides just weight because while I’ve lost 3 pounds this month, I’ve lost inches too and that’s really what I’m after. I also wish that I could see all of the recipes, not just the ones on the plan I choose. Some days I need quick and easy, but other days I may want to spend more time in the kitchen trying a new recipe. Other than that, I’m loving the workouts and the meal plan options. It’s really helped me to stay consistent and that’s the most important thing for me.

Great health app. Bug fixed :) Not sure what happened, but when i tried to do my daily workout- it kept throwing an error. So i logged out of the app, and when i try to log back in, its stuck on a loop of Jillians splash page video. So now i cant even log in. Love this app, and almost all of the recipes I’ve tried are delicious and filling. Couple things I wish were different- 1- water tracking. Would love to be able to input water intake. 2- list of ingredients are in the same order as when they need to be used- like every cookbook out there. Makes prepping go quicker. 3- body measurements. Weight and pictures are ok, but measuring is the best way to see results.

Best workout app ever. I love this app so much. I’ve had it for a while and downloaded several exercise apps at the same time. I can kick myself for taking so long to start using this app. It is a one stop shop and has everything you need. I love that the workouts are customized for me and it is linked to my iwatch and apple activity app so I can get accurate readings of my calorie expenditure. I have started working out with a personal trainer as well and these workouts can give hers a run for her money. So they are excellent to do on the days when I can’t get to the gym or am traveling and I can feel the difference. Jillian has even made me not HATE planks so much. Almost lol

Pretty happy with this app. This app is exactly what I was looking for- I wanted a replacement for my small class at the gym, someone just telling me what do, different every day, at home. I like the different programs and the ability to choose what I’d like to do and piece together shorter workouts- it’s to the point and done without a lot of chitchat. The negative for me is that the upcoming exercise is blurred out before it starts. If you’re unfamiliar with the move, it means you’re waiting to see what position you need to be in and then trying to get in position or grabbing for weights while the time is running on the exercise. It would be really helpful to have a clear image, or even a thumbnail on the screen letting you know.

Gamechanger. I’ve been using the app for two months now and it’s a total gamechanger for me. I don’t have to plan my workouts I basically just have to show up. But I can also give input whenever I want: i love that I can switch up the exercises in case something would be too painful or cause injury. I also do cardio days on my own either on the elliptical or at a dance class, when I return to the app for strength training I just pass over the cardio days no issue. I also added my own music, which makes working out more fun. In 2 short months I’m already halfway to my weight loss goal and I think this app will be great for maintaining and keeping toned too.

Good app but a few tweaks could make it better. I’m enjoying this app and I use it on my iPhone, Apple TV, and I watch. My biggest gripe is that the Apple TV version does not allow you to turn off the built in music during a workout like the iPhone version does. So I’m forced to choose between either turning off all of Jillian’s audio cues along with the annoying, repetitive music so that I can listen to my own music or just suffering through it. I also have the same issue other reviews have mentioned where the total workout time decreases as the workout progresses. I’ve never substituted an exercise so this is not the cause. 26min workouts tend to go down to 22min or so. Considering how short they are to begin with, I feel like I’m shortchanging myself.

Very Excited. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so excited about a workout routine. I’ve completed Insanity twice and P90 both with amazing results. I’m 45 now and my knees can’t seem to handle the jumping in Insanity (or the intensity!) and I am discouraged by the hour workout in P90. I saw an advertisement for JM app and decided to give it a try. I am 2 weeks into the Transform 90 and I am loving it!!! It is hard enough where I know I am working out but not so hard that I am dreading it... I actually look forward to each workout! I’ve lost 3 1/3 lbs but more importantly my legs, my abs, and my arms all are toning up. I am very excited about the change. So far it’s worth the $69 cost...

Unlimited workouts, never bored. I am so impressed with this app. I love how I can follow one of the many programs or sneak in 7 minutes of abs. I have been following the Transform 90 and already see and feel a difference. I feel firmer, smaller and I move through life stronger. Jillian is a smart woman who understands the many facets of fitness. Here are some of my favorite features: swapping out exercises you don’t like for others you do, the workout generator that allows you to create your own program, the clear and no nonsense exercises, the fact that it asks you what equipment you have(I finally can use my workout bench), the recipes and it syncing with Apple health. I am a fan of working out at home: I can wear whatever, keep an eye on dinner, don’t have to drive, save money, etc. This app is the answer to my prayers!

Delayed updates. When will Apple TV all update? It’s behind for months sometimes. Still waiting for Build 30 workout to appear. Instead stuck screen mirroring. Had the app for three years now. Probably won’t renew again. It’s just too problematic and not streamlined. Would be nice if updates for Apple TV app matched my phone updates. I can’t do new workout programs on Apple TV. First, Strong 30 Challenge and now the new one that launched April first. Not to mention that 2022 new year program was launched two days late, and thousands were expecting it January 1st. Not first Monday of the new year. Kind of embarrassing…and the app is still so archaic AND GLITCHY. I can mirror my phone to Apple TV but it can be glitchy too and I shouldn’t have to. Would be nice if updates happened promptly and across all platforms.

This app is my workout holy grail. Jillian Michaels’ Fitness app is my go-to for wellness inspiration and workouts from the fitness guru herself. I’ve always liked Jillian but have come to love her through her connection via this app as well as her podcast. I have never written an app review before so this is a testament to the significant impact this tool has become in my daily routine. As a certified yoga instructor and personal trainer myself, fitness has been a longtime passion of mine. Even so, this app continues to be a source of positive motivation, out-of-the-box tips and consistently killer workouts from a person who is as authentic and fun as she is downright serious about the instruction and advice she gives.

Nothing comes close to this app if you are truly looking to start a healthier version of you the correct way. Thank you so much Jillian! I have gone from 20% body fat to 7% with your app!

Motivating and creative. I’m on day 5 and I’m really liking the workouts. I am recovering from a shoulder injury and being able to swap out parts of the workout is crucial for me. My biggest issue so far is the reloading every time you leave the app. I’m assuming this is because it is getting data from other sources like Apple Health. Regarding the meal plan- I am really liking the recipes. They have all tasted amazing so far. I appreciate being able to swap each meal out if you don’t have the ingredients or if you have leftovers. My only issues so far is recipe portion size. If you make something that serves 6 then the meal plan should assume you will eat that again the next meal or day. I found that I’m not using all the groceries because of leftovers. Next week I’ll modify the grocery list after reviewing the meal plan.

Best library of workouts. This app has the entire catalogue of Jillian’s workouts so there is something in here for everyone at every fitness level, even for pregnant women. My favorite workout is Weightloss Extreme which uses her 6 min strength, 2 min cardio and 1 min abs formula for each circuit on strength days. Each workout packs a punch is just over 20 min plus time for warm up and cool down making it a 30 min workout. You do each routine for two weeks then start a new one. It’s crazy how I struggle with one exercise the first time I do it and then can manage it by the second week. So so motivating. It also comes with meal recipes.

Great program.. Amazing contents. 5 stars for the workout content and meal plans. Some minor functioning annoyances. - Can’t delete double ups on logged workouts when it accidentally restarts. - Can’t track on Apple Watch while watching on iPad then just not “complete workout” on the iPad so it doesn’t double track. - Doesn’t show calorie total at the end of the day - unless I’m missing something. You can however do the math yourself based on meal totals. - You can log in MyFitnessPal and have it show up in the Jillian app but meals logged in the Jillian app don’t seem to show up on MyFitnessPal - Meal don’t appear to show macros. I would be interested in seeing how much fat, carbs, and protein I’m getting in the vegan meal plan and wonder if that was taken in to consideration - why or why not, etc. More control on deleting and adding other workouts would be great. Overall it’s a great app for getting your health on track and I’m immensely grateful for having a vegan meal plan option. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for guidance in healthy eating or if you’ve just run out of ideas on how to feed yourself!

Disappointing - several bugs that was expensive apps don’t have. I wish I could give this app 5 stars, simply because I have worked out with Jillian Michaels for years, however, this app is a huge disappointment. It glitches regularly, it doesn’t connect to my smartwatch properly so none of my workouts are logged properly, it doesn’t register the saved information I have entered such as food, weight, etc - instead it constantly asks me to add the information, then upon checking my entries the app show multiple entries on the same day, why - well because it’s not registering the information - HUGE BUGS, this app needs some serious work. I have another app from a less well know fitness trainer and there are zero issues like this on that app, if this app could auto track my workout properly and fix all the other issues I mentioned it would be great….otherwise it’s not worth the $$$ spent.

Wish nutritional information was available. This is a great app for workouts. I agree with others that have said you have to watch the workout first before doing it so you can see how to do each exercise. Otherwise you lose time trying to see the exercise and then catch up to the rest of the workout. I would like to see the nutritional info for macros of each recipe. There is only calorie info; no macros. You can choose what kind of diet you want (keto, vegan, carnivore, etc) but you can’t customize any of the meal plans calorie and macros according to your fitness goal, weight, and height. I would love to be able to pull this app up on my Mac. Alas, I can only use my phone. If you have emailed questions about the app, or leave comments on the app message board, it may take a few days to get a response. Again, I love JM’s workouts! They are super fun! And there are LOTS of workouts to choose from.

Incredible. Convenient. Challenging.. I have been doing the banging bikini body workout and I absolutely love it. I’ve been telling everyone I know about Jillian’s App. I love the variety and the meal plans. It’s very challenging but just the right amount of challenge. Overall the best workout program I have ever purchased, because it is convenient (especially being able to choose how long you want your workout to be) and because of the variety. I’ve been doing this for about a month and a half and I have not even had a chance to get bored and I don’t think I will. The only complaint is that the program does freeze sometimes and/or Jillian just doesn’t show up on some of the 25 second sections of the workout... Other than that, it’s incredible!! Totally worth the $.

Best workout plans EVER!!!. I never review apps, but I have to give my thoughts on this app. By far Jillian Michaels has the best workouts for PROVEN results. I am only looking to lose no more than 10 lbs, I have been using the Nike Training app for over a year and so glad I switched. I have never felt stronger in my life than now, her workout plans are powerful and condensed to optimize your time - as well as challenging which keeps me motivated. I am a working mom so nothing is more important to me than time. My entire body is transforming to the point that the scale doesn’t matter, I look and feel sexy stronger and happier. She has the program for you no matter what you are looking for! Try this app, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Jillian!!

Best designed workout app!. I’m just trying this out in comparison to others like sweat by Kayla and this app is so much better than the others! Apple TV mirroring, full screen videos, music volume choice not just on/off, audio overlay to remind you of posture, customization on difficulty, time, and body area. And the exercises are interesting and effective - true to Jillian. Easy to pause and skip ahead. Scrubber at the top at all times to let you see where you are in the workout. I’m really impressed. Things that could be improved: 1. The videos freeze up sometimes. The audio keeps playing but the video gets stuck. You have to tap around to skip the exercise and come back to fix it. 2. There is a fuzzy overlay when transitioning between videos but it’s annoying because you want to see the picture of the next video to start getting in position. They should get rid of that or make it just behind the loading circle so you can see the body position coming up. 3. Each exercise lasts only 30 seconds or less. By the time you get into position you only have time to repeat a few times before the video is over. They really should be increased by 10-15 seconds.

Expect to Gloriously Surprised!. I am a skeptic when it comes to fitness DVDs and online workouts. I’m easily bored with mundane workouts, and I was honestly expecting little more from this one. However, prepare to be amazed! Once I put in my stats and filled out my goals, customized workouts were ready to go! They are varied, adjustable, and provide many options. The meals in the meal planner are not as wild as many others I’ve seen. While I don’t stick religiously to the meal plan, I use it as a base for the types of calories and content I should be eating. It also syncs with MyFitnessPal, which I have used for some time to keep track of what I eat. Try it! Worth the money! If you do this stuff daily, you WILL have results.

Just what I wanted & needed. Absolutely PERFECT for my busy schedule- you pick when you want to workout, what you want to do, tons of programs available! You also can choose the intensity (and change it if it’s too hard or too easy!) if you schedule a workout time/day and if you forget - you have options for reminders OR Jillian offers a 7 min workout for your whole body! That was you get something in for the day! Meal planning ideas along with grocery lists! You can choose your eating habits as well: vegetarian, meat eater, gluten free...etc! Not to mention she cheers you on the WHOLE workout! So you can push yourself — she believes in you more than YOU do....... Worth every penny! Sticking with jills, for life! ♥️

Great workouts but the app could use some tweaks. I love the workout programs. I’m just a beginner but the moves are perfect and get me sweating. I would LOVE to have a way to track my inches lost because I don’t use scales. My issue comes from the meal planner, it’s a bit glitchy and could use more options. I like that you can choose days and times you want to eat but I’d like it to go a step further. Example, I’d like to select breakfast and lunch on Monday but only breakfast and dinner on Tuesday and just breakfast on Wednesday. I’d also like to be able to alter portions for each day instead of making it the same for the whole week. When my husband is at work I only need 2 portions for my kids and I but 3 when he comes home for dinner. It would be great to add even more vegan recipes eventually because the ones on the plan are extremely delicious and I’d love to try more!

All mommies should have this app!. Love this app! It’s great for mamas that don’t have time to go out to the gym you can just do your workout at home! And you can customize it to how long you would like your workouts to be. also if you have certain equipment it customizes it to workouts that have that equipment or if you don’t have equipment for example dumbbells it customizes it to a workout that doesn’t use any!:) you may need to purchase to be able to customize but it’s so worth it! Because it really works! You just have to be constant! Im 5’4 and weighed 160lbs and using this app I went down to my goal 135lbs and that was in 3-4months I think even less . Love this app!

Pregnancy workout. I am seven months pregnant with my third baby and just found this app two weeks ago. With three pregnancies, I have tried so many different prenatal work out routines and I have been consistently disappointed. THIS APP is it for me! I can’t believe how much better I feel following the carefully thought out routine provided for your third trimester. Since I’ve started: My shoulder ache has gone away I can pick things up off the ground without getting stuck down there My posture is better 24/7 The back fat has minimized I DONT PEE WHEN I SNEEZE After three pregnancies, I don’t pee and I’m still pregnant!! This alone has me convinced whoever developed the routine for the app, really knows what a pregnant body needs. On a side note, after following the routine for two weeks and having two routines that you alternate, I was starting to get bored. So I looked ahead to the next video and it is actually two new routines to alternate (I assume) for two more weeks. The monotony of pregnancy is the worse part, so switching things up really makes this more interesting for me personally. Thank you!

Pregnancy Workouts. I love this app! It’s the second year I have been consistent with it. It’s easy to use and has tons of workouts to choose from and I really feel a difference when I stick with it. However, I wish that her 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester pregnancy workouts were catered a bit more towards pregnant women. I wish her commentary offered some advice on form that is specific to pregnancy or even told us things we should aim for or avoid. Sometimes it’s hard to watch her super fit, un-pregnant body easily and quickly go through the workouts when the reality is there is a big belly in the way a lot of the time. It would be awesome if the app offered tips and meal plans that were pregnancy specific too. I have read “Yeah Baby” and it would be awesome if the app had some of the material from the book.

Great for self-directed exercisers; weird distinction between beginner, intermediate, and expert. I love this app for working out in the mornings six days a week. I usually work through the entirety of a program and then start another one. So far I’ve done Yoga, Extreme Weight Loss 90, and Low Impact 30. I also like the workout generator for days I have less time or want to work a focused muscle group. The only thing I find strange about the app is Jillian’s rankings of beginner, intermediate, and expert. There are some expert moves that feel super easy to me and some beginner moves that feel like torture no matter how many times I do them. You’ll find your own level as you work through the exercises. Be sure to rank your difficulty level at the end of each workout. I’ve noticed it actually does change what exercises I’m served next.

Love it! It Works, Could Use Variety. I’m a 19 year old doing college remote from home. I got the app in a spur of the moment decision 3 months ago when I realized that if I didn’t stay active, not only would I gain weight, but every negative emotion that 2020 brings would be worse. This app has gotten me into the best physical shape I’ve ever been in. It keeps me motivated, and the structure really helps me. The only thing I’d say is that some of the programs feel repetitive and too similar to each other. I’ve switched to using the DVDs right now, and those are great. But the newer programs can feel redundant at times. I still love this app and am so grateful! 2020 has been hard but getting into shape and paying more attention to my health has been a saving grace this year.

Life-changing. I can’t stress how amazing it is to have Jillian’s workout app. It has changed the life of my husband and I. He travels all the time with work and he can summon Jillian no matter what country he is in and get a solid workout whether in a gym or his hotel room. As for me with kids and dogs, I can fit a workout in at any time of the day that works for me. We have seen incredible results using this app and eating better (one naturally eats better when you are feeling the burn during the workout!) I particularly love when Jillian gives you advice during each move, like “keep your tummy tucked”, “head off your chin”, as just when you might feel fatigue setting in and forget the correct position she chimes in to re-focus you. Thank you Jillian! Great job!

Jillian Michael App is 🔥🔥🔥. This app truly is amazing! These workout! 😍🔥 I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life and struggle to find workouts that work for ME and these just do it for me. I love that you can switch up workouts and if you are limited on certain things you can banish certain workouts and the interactive workouts are 😚👌🏻 chefs kiss. 💯💯 10/10 recommend. I don’t follow the food portion of the app because of a calorie counting app I use but I do look at the recipes for inspiration. I love the daily mode on the app it give you motivational tips and educational information and lets you know where you left off.

Rocking the treatment. I’ve been a follower of Jillian Michaels for the past six years now, and I can’t get enough of her workouts, meal plans and constant improvements and updates she makes particularly on this workout app. The app constantly adds new workout routines so things don’t get stagnant along with meal choices. I’ve completed booty boot camp and am on courses now like lean legs and sexy abs. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in august of 2020, I thought I may have to stop but I kept pushing myself and I am still working out as I rock out my chemo treatment. Thank you Jillian for making it possible for me to believe in myself and still get a major sweat on! Much love and appreciation for this app and all that you do.

Best workout program SERIOUSLY. I've gone to gyms where they turn up the heat to make you sweat so it looks like it's effective but your results don't lie. I've tried Tracy Anderson's dvds which wasn't enjoyable so I quit. I've also done yoga, spin and barre which are fun but did not get me my desired results. I wanted to look toned and I didn't want to wait years to get there. This program got me real results real quick. I was looking to tone up which I have but I also lost 20 pounds in 6 months. The workouts are very effective and the meals are actually very tasty and leave me full. I also enjoy her daily health tips. You can set your diet preferences, goals, equipment, etc. Jillian is the real deal.

Great app but with a few bugs. Love the work outs and ability to choose your fitness level. The videos are crisp, well shot and easy to follow. Jillian does fitness well and you can tell that part of the app is solid. The meal plans have great recipes and I love that there is a vegan option but here is where some of the bugs come out. The recipes are pretty complex and I think it's unreasonable to think someone would be able to make all of the meals exactly in the order they appear in the app. The grocery bill alone getting all the ingredients would be expensive. It would have been better if there was more repetition or you were able to pick and customize your own plan easier. They say you can swap meals but they don't label which are dinners and which are lunches in the view all list. Same issue I have with the workout plan. When I swap equipment settings between working out at home and at the gym it resets the entire program to day 1. Wish it would keep your place so you know if you did that day already or not. Also would be great if there were a reminder feature to get you to come back to the app each day. Overall good app and worth the money

As much or as little as you need it to be. Let’s be real, this app has the ability to whip you into shape lickity-split. You can go hardcore, track your workouts, follow the meal plans, and be super regimented. It also gives you the ability to do yoga programs, train for a 5k, and stay fit while preggo. Basically, it’s whatever you need it to be. But if you allow it to it will keep you accountable. I adore it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that there are still occasional glitches (one day I turned up for my program and it gave me the same workout I’d done the previous day, etc.) These are rare and overall I think it is 100% worth the money. I’ve ditched my gym membership and I’m stickin with Jillian!!

Best Fitness App ever!. I’ve known about Jillian Michaels for years as I watched her on tv (The Biggest Loser) and listened to her podcast. I had never used her fitness DVD’s but fast forward to 2020 gym and fitness studio closures and Jillian has been my savior. I downloaded her My Fitness app and have used it consistently every week since March. She has almost all her DVD’s on there plus premium programs and special challenges. She continues to add new content (meditations, audio only content) and have I mentioned her recipes and meal plans? It’s insanely inexpensive and highly addictive! She also has a very supportive community on FB who are so positive to everyone no matter where you are on your fitness journey. Jillian is the best fitness trainer and motivator you could ask for and deserves 100 stars not just 5!

Great Motivator. I’ve always liked Jillian Michaels as a person and a fitness expert, so her spirit and the trust I have in her expertise led me to try the app. I like that the workouts are challenging but you can select a mode so she encourages you during your workout. I think the variety of workouts and the ability to customize them makes this a particularly great app. I love that I can play Apple Music or just use the app’s built in music. I’m really impressed by the recipes provided. You can follow a daily menu but I’m just enjoying the smoothie recipes. The main thing is one month in and I’m still doing it and I look and feel different. It’s big because I’m overweight and middle aged, so cardio is like a swear word to me. I’m actually enjoying it though which is probably the biggest thing I can say. Thanks Jillian!

Mar. I have been using this app for a month now and I absolutely love it. Yes, there are some things that need to be improved. For example, I have knee and hip problems and I cannot do the cardio part of any of the programs because it is too much jumping, however, I usually do the previous workout again or the next one. I think when you are picking your level of intensity, there should be an option for those who need low impact cardio. Other than that, I love love love this app. Jillian always delivers results and that’s why I keep coming back to her for my workouts routine. I have started to see some changes in my body, and for me, that is enough to rate this 5 starts. Jillian YOU ROCK!!!

Great app, but..... I love this app. I use it almost every day. That said, there are two issues I have with it: sometimes videos don't work, and rather than seeing Jillian perform the exercise I get a static image of her, which isn't particularly helpful if it's a move I don't know well. Also, it would be great if, after swapping moves, the exercises selected could be saved. For example, the other day I was using the Bounce Back Baby program and swapped a few of the suggested moves for ones I preferred. Right as I was about to start the workout I accidentally hit an arrow that took me to the next day of the program, and I lost all the preferred moves that I'd selected. It would be great if these selections could somehow be saved.

Great workouts. I have been working out with Jillian for years. She was my go to workout partner when I was in the Navy and she has remained my go to workout partner (little does she know). I have been using this app for a few weeks now. Aside from one hiccup, my workout got stuck at min 5 and repeated itself, it has been great. I simply closed out of the app, restarted, and began again. Glad it was at the beginning! 😄 I actually canceled my Beachbody on Demand access when I discovered this app because I would prefer these workouts to most of the ones offer through BoD. There is always room for improvement, But I will need some more time with the app to give any suggestions. Thank you Jillian and app developer team!

Jillian Michaels- best workouts from high school all the way to my thirties and pregnant!. I’ve followed Jillian Michaels from her workout videos when I was in high school, through college. Now that she has the app- it’s even better! I have almost never gone to the gym, save sooo much time working out at home- and truly get a more effective workout in less time. This app helps me stay consistent.. I mean come on who can’t do a 30 min workout!? Now I am pregnant & there is so much concern around what’s okay and what’s not. As per usual Jillian Michaels takes the guess workout and delivers a great solution to stay on track. The workouts are so doable pregnant and without them I think I would be lost! I tell all my friends about this app & always have had a nice body thanks to Jillian Michaels. I’m convinced this is the best way to workout.

Amazing workout, every time. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I don’t want to workout. Those thoughts start running through my head saying, “it’s gonna hurt, I don’t want to.” But Jillian’s workouts are fun and get an amazing sweat every time. There’s the option at the end of the workout to say whether it was too easy, too hard, or perfect for you and 95% of the time it’s perfect for me. In the workout programs that she has available, each week gets a little harder because you’re getting stronger. It’s amazing at the the end of the program to see the difference in how I look and how I feel. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to feel good, look good, and get a great workout in within 30 minutes.

More like 4.5.... Happy that some things have been fixed this go round, but what would really be useful is to be able to eliminate some of the menu items based on ingredients. I can’t eat shrimp or dairy (intolerance) and frankly I just don’t like avocados. Seems like it would be a pretty easy query into a database. I’d like to be able to tweak the Jillian to Music volume quickly because I don’t want to pause the workout for too long. Would like to swap out a Jillian cardio day for other random cardio - biking, rowing, running, etc. and have it all track. I get what other people are saying about the cueing, but I’m glad it’s not there. I’ve done the DVD’s for years so it would just be tiring after awhile. Pretty cool now but I only expect it to get better.

Best workout App by far from Jillian. I love the ability to make your own schedule, routine workouts, and the meal plan. Not to forget the duration you can start from as short as 7 minutes to 45 minutes. Then she asks if it was too hard or too easy. It goes from Easy to hard and you can pick your level of workouts from Abs to total body. This app is awesome with tons of recipes. You won't go wrong and might I add even if you the 7 minutes beginner to hard you shall SWEAT! Eat right follow the workout daily and trust you will see results I lost 60 lbs from Ripped in 30 and 15 from 30 day shred 1,2,3. She's the truth I'm starting over since I gained 30 lbs back losing track. Now, its a new year and this us the perfect app. Download this App I promise you won't be disappointed rather happy you started NOW!

Absolutely AMAZING!. Jillian said an app for everything I need and SHE DELIVERED!!!!! I LOVE how she actually speaks to you through the training. That’s what I have always been looking for. It’s as if she was in the room with me. The food recipes are delicious and straightforward and easy. I also appreciate the option to say that I ate “off plan” but still was in my goal. I appreciate the tips she provides and the reminders. Also, the multiple ways to track my pro free was with photos and the date and weight is shared on the photo! She thought of everything. I also, appreciate how you can be on your plan AND do a different workout, like the audio workouts, AND save all your progress without glitches. Jillian you the bomb. Thank you.

Love it, but could use some improvement. I’ve been using the Jillian App for about 2 years!!! now, and while I love it, there are some things I wish were different. Her specialized programs do tend to feel pretty dang repetitive, and I miss the interaction of her teams in her DVDs. I do love that she added the DVDs, but wish she would have even more variety. I find myself getting bored/frustrated with lots of repetition. I was so excited when she added a new program called Tone and Shred, but to be honest, the other 2 trainers are so irritatingly peppy and annoying to listen to that I just can’t do that workout. I had to mute it the last time I did it! So feedback would be that while this app has totally changed my life (went from working out 1x per month or so to 6 days x week), I would love some more variety!!

Great workouts, but still needs tweaking. I love the variety of workouts to choose from and the efficiency of them—saves so much time on busy weeknights. Jillian’s cardio workouts are more effective than any other type of cardio I’ve done—even marathon training. Awesome strength training, too, especially with exercises that just use body weight. However, the cuing on the workouts in the “Generator” tab is sometimes off. In a 5-circuit workout, I’ll have completed 2 circuits, but Jillian tells me I still have 4 left. There are other sound bite editing issues where she’s giving the 10-seconds-left message, but another one of her directives is partially voiced over it. If these bugs could be fixed, it’d be perfect!

So so good, but some kinks. I've been using this app for about 6+ months now. Love the intensity, the variety of workouts, and the convenience. I can say with certainty that it has improved my quality of life in a lot of ways. One thing that I want the JM team to know is that whenever I choose a-la-cart programs (i.e. A lower body workout), it tends to repeat the same exercise multiple times. I know that for certain sets of course things will repeat, but for example, for the buns/thighs program that I just did today, I did butterfly bridge back-two back during one set. My hunch is something to do with the algorithm, because during the customized programs I do not seem to have this issue. Regardless, I have every intention keep using it! Thank you.

Getting better and better.. I’ve been using the app for 5 month now. I use it for exercises only. I get that the videos are a bit dated, but who cares? With these totally customizable programs you can achieve the best shape of your life for the fraction of the gym membership! Two month after I started to rock with Julian, I got abs I didn’t know I could have! My favorite part is that if I can’t hit the gym, I can hit the floor at home (!)- no equipment necessary. I don’t have any issues with music apps comparability (Apple Music and pandora work just fine) and setting up the time in between exercises. Honestly, the only thing that annoys me is the blurred picture of the next exercise. Please fix it! Developers constantly working on bugs, so I’m mostly a very happy user!

Enjoying it so far. It’s a good habit has great work out a few things I’ve noticed is I wish when you swap between workouts like the 5K to the bikini body I would let you do both. It doesn’t let you cycle back-and-forth between two different workouts you have to pick one and stick with it for and since I’m a beginner in a bikini body with weights but I’m intermediate with running so I either have to keep changing it back to beginner or intermediate it doesn’t keep that information saved. I also agree with another reviewer that the calendar should tell you what workout you did last that would be great what day you did because if you skip a day or two or you do a different workout you forget. Overall though a solid app am I really enjoy it and I’ve lost 6 pounds in three weeks.

Great app-but some recipes are a bit vague.. I love this app for so many reasons, lots of variety, adjustable to many fitness levels, easy tracking, easy to follow moves. My only critique would be a little more clarity in the weights and amounts of the ingredients in the recipes. Some of the recipes say “serves two including leftovers”. What does that even mean? When it calls for a handful of spinach, my handful is much different than my husband’s. It would also be very helpful if the amount of carbs, fats, proteins and sodium were listed as they used to be in her early cookbooks. Having said all that, there are some delicious recipes included here! Also a great variety and more are added all the time. The app is also VERY user friendly.
