Great App & Very Helpful. So far so good I just started doing intermittent fasting and when I typed it into my browser to learn more this was the first app that came up. I like that it not only helps with keeping a schedule it also gives you an option to pay for a coach or not (a lot of apps don’t give you a choice you either pay for the service or you don’t use the app lol). Granted most of the app isn’t open unless you pay for a coach, but for what I need it for and the basics are all free so if you’re like me you can at least use it without having to pay for a coach and whatnot. The other thing I really like is during fasting it has a list of everything you will go through after whatever time frame you’re at. It tells you what your body is doing at this particular milestone (4hrs, 8hrs or whatever) and how you can fix it. That alone is helpful because if you’re just starting out it’s refreshing to see what you may be experiencing at that particular moment. All the other stuff like keeping track of water intake, weight and other fitness stuff is cool too but it’s kind of expected.

“Coach” is useless - except if you have (almost) unlimited flexibility. I was surprised and disappointed that the “coach” doesn’t take into account any user preferences. It doesn’t even ask at the beginning of the week which meals are set in stone and the optimizes around that. So, if you’re like me and have family or work dinners that you just can’t move, bad luck. I try to shift the fasting windows to accommodate my schedule but most of the time it’s not even feasible because the “coach” suggests a 36 hour fast which collided with two work dinners... so the only solution they offer is to cancel the whole day and use the joker day?! That’s a joke, pun intended. So, I have to make my own schedule outside of the app which really defeats the whole purpose of the app. The app claims that the coaching version is more effective because it prevents the body from getting used to a fasting schedule which would make that fasting schedule ineffective. To the developer team: please post some proper scientific evidence for that strong claim. I wasn’t able to find anything that comes even close. Recommendation: don’t buy the coaching option. There’s no useful added feature. The free version is ok and, well, its free. 3 stars for that.

Helpful but frustrating. As a beginner, I find this app helpful and I really like the update that allows me to modify the start/end times! I also like that one can record body measurements as an additional way to track progress -not weight alone! One thing that is frustrating is that the start/end notifications don’t work. I have notifications allowed on my phone and also the app, and every time I use the app, I’m asked if I want to allow notifications. So I click yes, only to not have notifications enabled. I’ve searched the internet for solutions and tried the ones I could find. I also tried to contact them directly but wasn’t successful in finding a contact option.

I’m losing weight ..... And feeling great. I paid for the coach version for three months to start and around week 3 I was a bit dubious about the algorithm because it suggested a very easy plan— but I overrode it and chose a plan that looked more interesting and the next week and ever since the “coach” was spot on. The better feedback I report the better the plans seem to be. Twice I ignored the coach’s plan and chose another one. I’ve lost 9 pounds so far and enjoy that each week is different. I grab my planner and work with my schedule and tweak times. It’s quite easy to do so. The reminder notifications are helpful and I like the challenges even if they’re easy. I think I must resemble their target user:) !

Free in 2023!. I have honestly been so pleased to finally be free from emotional eating. I'm a single business woman and love dinner and conversation. I love all foods! After work, I would come home, have dinner, watch my favorite TV programs and thought I had to eat something. After going to bed, would sometimes not be able to sleep, do I would get up and eat a bowl of cereal. I was thinking about food constantly. Having participated in IF I have broken the emotionally eating habit, finally! I never get hungry and finding I'm eating less at mealtimes. I'm also selecting healthier options. I pretty much listen to my body on what I feel I would like to eat. Weighing is unimportant to me now. My clothes fit great and I am not fearful of gaining weight as in the past; therefore, less STRESS!! Totally recommend!!

You get 3 things. I usually don’t pay for apps but I went all in on this app. The full Monty. I was expecting some emails, and a newsletter from a coach— I’m confused, where’s the coach? Here’s what you get: explanation on the different types of fasts, which are on the internet; a countdown timer that lets you know when you can eat. Nice, but believe me, if you’re fasting you don’t need a countdown to when you can eat again; a “me” page, which keeps track of your weight loss, a chart, a BMI which they compute using your height & weight, how many total hours you have fasted, your water intake. What this app did is get me started on this journey. I use it every day. I am disappointed that there is t anyone there behind the app to answer questions but I do feel it’s worth the money for me at least.

I like it but 2 issues. I really like how easy it is to fast using this app! It’s really helped me to stay on track and I love how it counts down the hours/minutes/seconds I have until I can put on the feedbag. It’s helped me to maintain my weight and attain mental clarity! I only have 2 issues. The first is that there appears to be no option to pay to receive more diversified plans, without getting a coach. I personally don’t want a stranger advising on my fasting. If I wanted another person involved I’d probably get a life coach or a personal trainer or something. You know, someone who actually knows me as a person. Fasting for me is a personal, privately rewarding experience that I don’t want intruded upon by a coach. I can’t see myself ever paying for this app which is a shame because I do think it’s great and it deserves to make money. You need to have a paid non coach option with diversified plans available so I can give you my money already! So what if it would only be a one time purchase for the diversified plans instead of steady monthly revenue for having a coach, isn’t that better than folks simply using the free option because they don’t want a coach? My other issue is I wish it told you how many hours you have already fasted like it tells you how many hours you have left. Maybe it does that if you buy a coach? If so, I guess I’ll never experience that nifty feature. Other than those two issues, the app is great!

Awesome app!. The only reason why I gave it a 4 is the fasting graph. It is so confusing to read by 0-24 hours. Is there any way you can change it to times of the day vs week days? I don’t look at fasting on number of hours but rather the time fasting vs time remaining. Also, for someone familiar with fasting, picking a plan only for it to decide to ease you into it, doesn’t help those that want and look to follow a plan. Now it does allow you to modify but i simply prefer to set the time and watch the time fly without changing and risking messing up generating a weeks worth of stats. Thank you!

It’s good!. So far this app is good I love the free choices as other apps pressure you into buying a package that you don’t know will work. I haven’t been consistent with this so I haven’t had results but I will be starting tomorrow on this for sure, I’m in the routine of going to the gym 4 times a week already and starting to eat healthier. So I think this will all be a perfect mix. You just have to remember that in order to loose weight no matter what you do unfortunately you have to eat healthy and do some exercise 99% of the time. It’s the harsh truth. I wish everyone luck!! 🙃

Not Worth the download. So I used this app for about 4 weeks. Unless you’re paying for the coaching, I don’t see the benefit of the app. If you know you’re on a 16-8 fasting schedule, you don’t need an app to remind you when to begin/stop eating. Also, you can track your own water intake. You can also track your weight at the end of each week but the scale will tell you if you’re losing or gaining. They offer a power week but even that’s pretty basic to do without the help of an app. So if you buy the coaching sessions, maybe it would be worth it, otherwise save the space on your phone.

Expecting more from coach version. Just purchased the 3 month coach version and on my first week using the app. I got the app because of the accountability part of having it remind me when to fast and when to stop and tracking the progress, plus thought the coach version would enhance my experience with personalized tips to reach my goals faster. The major feedback which I have for the developer is the app is lacking flexibility with fasting periods. For example if I want to continue fasting longer on a certain day I can’t record that in the app. Or if I need to cut the fast sooner on another day (life events, how I feel etc) also cannot make the adjustment in the app. Very disappointed with this because I feel like the app doesn’t allow for realistic recording of fasting periods and sometimes it gets too stressful to stay right on track with the coach when personal life gets in the way. This is my first impression as I am on my first week of fasting. The main feedback to the developer please allow the flexibility to be able to adjust and record our accurate fasting periods so we can be at ease and stress free.

Needs to be more inclusive. I’m tired of seeing anything these days that doesn’t have more inclusivity and developers need to be held more accountable. There are more than female & male genders. When using the word gender, you should think about including more options; non-binary, transgender, even just including prefer not to say or other is better. If you want to know someone’s biological sex then your question should ask what your sex is. It has probably deterred a lot of people from signing up. I, myself am a cisgendered female, but it’s almost 2021 and there needs to be some change with a lot of things. Please consider updating the app to include more gender options, or make it clear you’re asking for biological sex. — Otherwise, the app is great!!

Weight loss. So I just started the app, about 3 days ago and since I have no money lol I’m not using a paid membership but anyway, for the first day I didn’t binge eat once but the second and third day I binged eat just a little but not much and I went from 161.8 to 159.2 which is actually kinda nice especially because I’m switching up the hours and stuff. I have noticed a slight difference in my arm and when I wake up my body looks a little slimmer and my family has told me I have looked a little slimmer which is nice especially because I need to lose 92 pounds. One thing I noticed was I can fit into my pants better and they actually slip off a few times which is insane to me. I have also been tracking my water intake my waste and have been keeping track with my fasting and decided to make it 12-14 hour fast depending on the day which I think is pretty good for someone who needs to lose weight. I’m also an athlete so it would be nice to slim down so this app definitely helps people in need like me cause I have tried so many workout apps and none worked so this one is helping a lot. Personally I feel you should do intermitting fasting instead of a calorie deficit because you will see results faster and it’s better for mental health in my opinion. But to end this review I definitely recommend this app because I lost weight already and it’s only been 3 days. So definitely get this app if your looking. For fast results.

Love this app. But wish you got more for the Coach. I hardly ever leave a review but I love this app so much that I had to write about it. It’s very easy to follow and I love the different fasting options available. Especially with the Coach. My only recommendation would be that the weekly challenges provided alerts to remind you of what you’re suppose to be doing. For instance, if you’re suppose to “give you pet love”, it would be great to have a notification reminding me. Or to drink my water, do my squats, use the stairs, etc. I’ve emailed the app maker and they said that soon the app will be available for Apple Watch, which is great! The one other suggestion would be if I move my hours one day that it moves it for the following days as well in order to keep me in track for the rest of the week. Right now I have to adjust every day. I lost 7 lbs in two weeks and my stomach feels so much better (chronic stomach issues). Highly recommended!

Super nice and well done. This is the only app that I have granted permission to send notifications to my phone. So helpful to have the week all planned out for me. I don’t have to make any decisions, just follow the plan. The reason that fasting makes it easier to lose weight is because you have a shorter window in which you have to make good decisions instead of having to exercise self control 24/7. The app is easy to use. You should come in with some prior knowledge of IF, why it is good for you, and understanding of nutrition, to get the full benefit. Have not tried the coaching feature yet. Would be more interested if it’s an actual live person but it sounds like it’s just an AI from the other comments.

New to the App. I’m new to the app so I’m only just now learning to maneuver it. Currently I’m starting slow and only using the free version. I’m one of those people who goes all in (logging calories, logging ounces of water, logging activity) and I burn out so quickly on the logging that I give up on all of it. One of the things that drew me to this app is I’m so tired of all the calorie counting. Of course, this doesn’t give me an excuse to eat a huge wedge of NY Cheesecake (as good as that sounds!) but it releases me from that obligation. I will still try my best to log my water intake but I won’t kick myself if I forget (or just don’t feel like it). The positive thing in such a short time is I’m being more mindful of when to eat and when not to eat. I’d like to do this for the month of April 2022 and then go from there (look at other fasting plans, consider the intro level of paid coaching, etc). I know a month might not give me enough time to make an informed decision to stay on or delete but it’ll will hopefully created the beginnings of a new habit!

Seems good but too early to tell!. Funny how Apps want you to rate them before you even finish your registration. I’m Now on day 3 of using the App and it seems just “OK”. Pretty basic but I guess it is “OK”. It is a good reminder of when you should and should not be eating but other than that I’m not sure of all the value the app has. If I could I would give it a 3.5 (a little above avg.), but since that is not an option I went to 4, only because I haven’t used everything on the App yet. I’m only rating the app now because it keeps asking me to rate it and it’s getting annoying. To be fair I did not do the PAID coaching option for this app so not sure if that would have made a difference.

So complicated. Idk how this has so many star review I already know what I need to do on a basic 16-8 fasting, but haven’t found motivation to do it so though maybe an app may help. Did not know what to expect as it pretty basic u just eat with in 8 hour and don’t for 16, but again have not been motivated so thought I would give it a try. This app is so complicated to use it made me cancel so I won’t be charged again right away so mad I paid around $16 for this. There this specific area that you kinda have to figure out on your own as there is a lot going on once you choose what plan you want at fort I choose fat killer thinking can shed couple pounds fast first week. Omg I was so stressed out did not make sense at all had you set up times, but when I did it juts did not make sense. For example I put 9:30am-5:30pm thinking maybe it’s asking what times I want to eat then when I pressed complete it stated I was in my eating time and it 2am huh? Next I was like oh Ok maybe asking for what times I don’t want to eat again I was in my eating time now? Soooo confusing.

This app helped me take control. I was fasting on my own without an app for about a month before I found this app. I was writing down my fasts on a calendar and it was really hard to kinda keep track of when and where of everything. When I found this app I tried it for the basic version for a few days and I really liked the features of scheduling out my week and being able to plan ahead. I did decide to do coach and I’m super impressed with the new things that were unlocked! This app has been making it so much easier for me to set my fasts around my work schedule (I work at different times each day, so I wouldn’t be able to eat at the same times each day). I really like being able to see where I am at with my fasts, and how it’s working within my body! It’s super interesting and being able to know what exactly is happening helps motivate me! I also really like that this app is more than just a fasting timer. It allows you to track your fast, track your water intake, track your weight, track your body measurements, and the challenges that it loads up during your week keeps the fast fun. I totally thought that this would be all smoke and mirrors but seeing the physical results, it’s one of those things that, if you feel like you have tried everything, you can’t stop yourself from yo-yoing, and you’re looking to put in the hours, this is definitely for you, and this app is worth it!!!

Fun way to loose weight!. This app is intuitive and easy to use. I enjoy the random fasting times and look forward at the end of each week to the mystery of the upcoming week. It’s a little exciting, kind of like opening a present, getting to see when I can eat the next week. I actually like the challenge of organizing my schedule around times I can eat, planning my families menus so I don’t end up cooking food that I love but can’t eat. On nights that I’m fasting, I make stuff that they like, but that doesn’t really tempt me. If I were choosing the fasting times I would quickly get into a rut, or cheat. The app gives me some accountability and sometimes even an excuse to not eat. The interface is easy, the coaching sessions are short, well written and motivational. The $60 per year is worth it to have so many diverse fasting schedules. That’s what I really love about this app.

The app is worth buying. We need to support the programmers and if you’re using this and losing weight not least investing in it please consider it because developers were very hard to make good programs and this is a very good app. So far I’ve lost over 30 pounds doing intermittent fasting. Started out with 16:8 and now I’m doing 23:1. I feel so much better. The app does a great job of educating people. seriously I’m saving so much money not eating crappy food and not eating so much. Missing just one meal pays for this app. I was in IT 40+ years and worked cyber security and networking. Developers many times are underappreciated. So to the developers of this app thank you very much for creating some thing that does good for people. One request would be enhancement where instead of just the hours of when the different stages are happening in your body it actually shows the time for each stage starting. it shows the start time so I would assume it could automatically add and show each stage time.

Variation leads to Motivation. I have downloaded various intermittent fasting apps, and this one seems to be the most thorough and interesting. It keeps fasting doable by varying the fasting regime each week, and I don’t have to log in foods or times. I’m kind of getting a kick out of the little mini „trophy“ goals, too. I like that I can rely on something/someone outside of myself to keep me accountable and give me structure to this rather difficult job of putting boundaries on my eating times. I have not paid for the coach version, but decided to take a stab at choosing a plan for myself. I may end up signing up for the coach, but at this point I’m getting a good program without it.

Needs development for flexibility. I like this app. I would give it five stars...except for its inflexibility regarding meal times and the uselessness of the coach program. It uses algorithms which are preset and there is no apparent response to one’s notes. Why have notes if they are not read? I am almost 72, have lost 40+ lbs in the last five months, three months using BodyFast app. But I am on meds for a seizure disorder as well as BP meds and really like the OMAD 22-2 plan, but I need to eat something for my stomach before taking strong meds. You cannot really adjust the meal times; it comes back week-after-week with the same two-hour eating between 6-8pm. IF there is going to be an update, WHEN? Otherwise I will look for a different app.

Enjoying the app however…. I’m enjoying the app and have lost a few pounds so far however I downloaded it on my iPad and would like to use it on my iPhone as well. I do not have Facebook and therefore am not able to sign into my account on my phone so I am not able to use my account on both devices. I wish I could sign into my account using my email address. I think with more and more people leaving Facebook because of privacy issues, I’m pretty certain people don’t want their diet history up for grabs. I don’t like that there is no one responsible know all live coach for when you mess up… There is no one there to reach out to if you need help… It’s a problem for me because today in my second week I effed up so I needed someone to reach out to but of course I couldn’t because this app doesn’t allow it blah blah blah no one cares it’s an OK app

Update…. I had written a good review and wanted to add an update but I somehow I didn’t see my review to add to it, anyways. I have been using the app for a week and I have lost 6lbs. For week that is pretty darn good. I was giving myself 2 months to lose 20lbs and only needing 15lbs after just one week, I can’t be more pleased. Now of course along with the help of the app, I have also been watching what I eat and some physical activity such as walking but not for long walks and normal walking too, nothing fast paced. So in combination along with the help of the app and drinking a lot of water as well, I have gotten great results. So I am very pleased and super excited to reach my goal weight sooner than expected and thanks to app for helping me reach my goal. Ps.(developers) I want to try the fat killer fasting option so bad lol. Bc I have been doing the power week. I Would love to step it up a notch with my fasting. Also a note to possible bodyfasters: do not say the app did not work unless your willing commit. Meaning yes you can fast but it also doesn’t mean to binge when it’s time to eat and eating foods that won’t help your weight loss goals. You can replace one meal with a high protein meal replacement shake. And lotsss of water. Some may not see results the first week but give it at least two and you will see the pounds drop off. A good basic app. This app is great for jump starting your intermittent fasting journey. It helps you plan your fasting times, which is great for those that like the guidance and support. I was confused by the “coach.” There isn’t an actual coach, but a couple positive thoughts each day. If someone is needing the help of a coach that is available for support, this app isn’t for them. I also would like to be able to log my food. I currently have to switch over to another app to do this. It would be much more convenient to be able to streamline and log everything in a single app. But as I mentioned, overall this is a good app for jump starting your fasting journey, and worth the small fee.

Be Accountable. Doing something new is much easier when you set a realistic series of goals and persistent, positive reminders - which can get dull. And dull can likely lead to giving up - but less likely when progress is rewarded with another challenge to keep you engaged in solidifying new behavior. Before long you’ve reached your goal which not only reason to celebrate but - in the best possible way - beside the point. Because you haven’t merely achieved something obvious to others on the outside, you’ve gone and changed yourself on the inside. Keep going and you may just experience that grown-up brand of happiness known as inner peace.

Good function without subscription. I wish it were a little easier to use without getting a “fasting coach”, which is of absolutely no interest to me, but for a utility I’m using for free I can’t complain. Tracking my fasting has brought new accountability to my fasting and I love the alerts and tracking. I’d love a version of the tool that I could just pay $5 or $10 for one time and get the general functionality for life. I don’t need a coach or challenges or recipes or any of that.

“Great APP”. I downloaded this app 2-3 weeks ago because I’ve been hearing good things about fasting. I was kind of skeptical at first but when I tried it, I was amazed. I went full force of 12hrs ending my meals at 9:30pm starting back up at 9:30am. It was pretty easy for me since I work at night for 12hrs so I’m not focusing on eating because I’m very busy. If I do get hungry I will drink plenty of water or some hot tea. This app keeps me focus and so far I have lost weight, I eat more healthier and have more energy since I work nights. I give kudos this is a great 👍🏽 app!! Thanks 🙏🏽 guys for making this app!!

Lost 20 lbs so far!. Got serious about my health after I just could not lose weight no matter how little I ate or how much I exercised. Found an excellent endocrinologist who actually listened and did extensive lab work. They recommended intermittent fasting and I found this excellent app. I started with 16/8 and was told by my Dr to incorporate one or two days of 24+ fasting days to improve insulin resistance lab number that was needing to go down a little. I’m not diabetic. Very very happy with my results so far and I feel amazing.

Best IF App Available. I struggled with keeping my weight under control and was unable to lose weight over the years on my own. I tried exercise, gym memberships, trainers, diet fads, diet apps, etc… Nothing ever worked, or if it did, it was minimal results that weren’t worth writing home about. This app has single-handedly made fasting easy and allowed me to make my initial weight loss goal. I’ve lost over 50 lbs. and kept it off for almost a year now. I am ecstatic in the success from using this app. The reminders are easy to configure keeping you on track throughout the day, the trophies help encourage you along the way, easy to use interface for entering in weight and measurements, notes that you can enter per week to look back on that are saved in the plan history, historical graph for visual representation, and so many other features are exactly what is needed for your goals. The only feature request I would suggest would be to add a horizontal scroll bar on the Me graph when viewing weight/measurements history to allow zooming in and/or for a tracking vertical bar to show weight/measurements specific value at given dates. This would help with bragging rights. ;)

A Friends Success. I learned about IF from a friend who lost weigh at a healthy pace and I asked how she was doing it. She told me about Body Fast, so after much investigation and her strong recommendations I downloaded the app and paid for the coach. It has taken me a few weeks to learn the app (still learning) it has been something that doesn’t feel restrictive and burdensome like counting calories, WW meetings...etc. Because of the discipline it takes not to eat during the fasting period, I now have the mindset to make healthy choices during the non-fasting times, which has led to my overall well-being mentally and physically.

Keeps track when I don’t have time. This app is very helpful with keeping track of fasting intervals when I don’t have time to focus on them - some fasting schedules vary day to day and this app is critical for that. I only gave it 4 stars because I think it’s a bit “busy” in some areas, the info can become overwhelming when you are just looking for tips, motivation, reasoning behind each fasting schedule. I like apps that take your hand and lead/motivate you as I don’t have time to think about it. I do know that even after 1-2 days I feel so much more energy just from not snacking after 8pm before bed. I realize my body is actually craving snacks because it’s tired… not hungry. Happy fasting!!!

Finally Losing Weight. I am only on my 4th day using this app and I have already lost 3lbs. There are different fasting options, but you are limited if you are using the free version. I fast from 8pm to 12pm and the app alerts me an hour before I break or start a fast. It also allows you to track your weight. In addition to this app I do Pilates 5 days a week and although I am not on a strict diet; I do eat healthy and limit my carbs and sweets. A large cup of joe (black) keeps me sane during my fast. I recommend intermittent fasting to anyone who has been struggling with their weight. It works!

Not very useful past week 1. It is a good educational app... for about a week. Once you get through your first week, this app has very limited use. In fact, some of the features are not user-friendly at all (e.g., try changing fasting times to the actual start time of “last night at 22:30” is not allowed.) Too rigid on what it allows a user to do (e.g., you actually must “close” a week to be able to start the next... even when the actual “next” week has already started.) Lastly, as a first time user I am not convinced of the value of any of the coaching plans. Perhaps the developer should consider a “freemium” option or explain better what a coach can do. Honestly, I really see no value at the moment 😕

Love it!. I really love the way you can plan your own schedule or have like a pre-made schedule. A couple things I think could improve the app, I feel like people really like to personalize things like this, I feel like if I were allowed to add a picture, or customize my avatar that I would enjoy the app experience a little more. Also, I think it would be cool if you had like articles or blogs or something like a “learn about fasting while you fast” kind of section, because sometimes you get so bored and hungry while you’re fasting, I think it would be cool if you had stuff to do in the app. Anyway, just suggestions. I love everything else about this app!

Miraculous!. In addition to needing to loose 30lbs, I was experiencing inflammation, mystery aches and pains, low energy, depression, carb cravings, digestive issues, an increasing feeling of hopelessness and the resulting low self esteem. I was stuck in the vicious yo-yo dieting circle; never finding a solution that was sustainable. Until now. I’ve had the app a week and honestly dreaded fasting but it’s actually not as difficult as I imagined. In the first week alone; my relationship with food is changing, I have more energy, I’m not hungry! cravings have decreased dramatically, digestive issues have vastly improved, self esteem is improving and best of all; hope is returning. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me! I recommend this app with zero hesitation.

I was skeptical but I am already seeing results. At first I didn’t think that this would work. I still wonder if the results I am seeing are just the placebo effect, but I really am seeing rapid results. If anything,I am way less bloated now and my waist is more snatched. It’s hard to stop snacking without setting specific rules for yourself, and this app allows you to gain control more easily. I like fasting because I don’t count calories I just eat at specific times. I have found it very easy to just not eat during the fasting period and not gorge myself during the eating period. I eat much less but still eat a good amount. I used to snack before I went to bed and now I don’t. I used to eat a whole lot and then feel guilty and even considered throwing it up. Getting rid of that toxic mindset has been really helpful in making my days better. I also find I have more energy at school. If anything, fasting boosts my confidence (and that’s all that matters).

Does what I need it to. Been looking for something that focused only on intermittent fasting and I’m glad I finally found this. The UX/UI feels fairly basic (atheistically it’s a bit disappointing - i.e arrangement of design patterns feels a little weird, along side long scrolling pages of content... feels a little off/old fashioned to me) Aside from that, functionally it works well for all I need: track the days and hours of which I’m fasting + track weight. I’d be curious to see improvements to goal tracking or other nice to haves you guys have sitting in your backlog.

Really seeing results!. I’m enjoying my results after just two weeks that’s why I’m marking it a 4 I’m down 4lb within 6 days that includes a 30hr fast. I signed up for the three month Coach. Power Week 1 & 2 which I’ve done are both apparently part of the free app. So I’m unsure what I’m actually getting for the price. The challenges seem stock and not really customized. I don’t seem to be getting any daily customization or counsel. I think this would really be a value if it included a calorie counter or linked to an an app like My Fitness Pal. But...I’m losing weight and feeling good so I’m marking it a 4 and not complaining. I will say too that the connection with the IF FB page is HUGE!!!! Having a community to cheer you on is awesome. Though I don’t see why this isn’t all linked through the actual app...

New Life Style. I’ve been using and learning from BodyFast for one year today! It has changed my life and life style. I’m healthier, have more energy and my wife has gotten used to me not eating dinner a couple times a week. I’ve lost 28 pounds, my joints ALL feel better and my heart meds have been reduced by 50%. I hydrate regularly which has been key. I am encouraged by my coach regularly and have learned much about my body and how & why it functions as it does. BodyFast is an excellent program, well worth the nominal investment and Has various different fasting programs. Love it !!

Limited. There are a few things that I really like, but they are also offered by competitors: metabolism stages tracking are inspiring to keep going, recipes are nice, overall progress tracking, trophies. I like the water drinking reminders as well and the mini goals it sets to follow. All good inspirations. So why 3 stars? - $ signup is gimmicky - when I installed the app, it gave me an option to sign up for coaching within 10 min at a discount. That “discount” is the app normal price, but you have the fake added time pressure - you can get an extra trophy by rating the app within it… guess what - the rating submitted for you is 5 stars 😂 no way to change it in the app - I went back to the app store on principle to add my honest review - app limitation - it says you can edit your fasting times…. You can in some cases. Except if you are starting a new week, which defaults to start fasting at 12 am on that day. I could not update the start fasting time to the night before - that’s super annoying. - trouble switching between views - it doesn’t always work, you have to click on things twice. Buggy area.

Hard to get the basics. I’ve been fasting daily for three weeks. I was looking for a very simple app that would let me set my windows for the week and that would alert me at the start and the end. I don’t need a “coach”. I don’t need a “community”. I just want a tracker. The coach is so generic it is useless to me. I don’t need badges or a cheerleader, so I’ve only set my starting body stats and my window for fasting each day. When I went in after 3 weeks, the app is still waiting for me to tell it I’ve finished my first week. I stopped getting alerts, apparently because I wasn’t going into the app daily. The format is not particularly user friendly. I should never have paid for a lot of features that are worthless to me.

Love the app. I’d actually give 4.5 stars if I could. I love the accountability and the changes in times of fasting. It keeps it interesting! Also, it keeps me motivated. If I’m fasting during daytime hours I have to find things to do instead of binging on a Netflix show. I’ve already noticed a decrease in bloat and feel better. I also don’t feel horrible if I have to end a fast an hour early to do a family meal. It’s not the end of the world! I try to adjust my times to account for this but things happen. I just extend the next fast by an hour to make up for it a bit. The program is super easy to use. I dreaded it in the beginning but after the first day I realized it wasn’t so bad. I admit I watched the clock like a hawk. Then not so much. I wasn’t really all that hungry and when I was I drank black coffee and the hot fluids helped. The reason I took a little off is the coach because it’s computer generated. It’s not TOTALLY worthless as it does have good pointers and tips but I’d love for it to be more individualized. My next issue is water consumption being 14 oz increments. Really. 14 oz? Please change to 8 oz or 16 oz!

Life changing. I was a college athlete and have always been an avid exerciser. A few years ago when I turned 30 I STOPPED losing weight, no matter what how much cardio I did, no matter how I changed my diet…nothing could help me lose weight. When quarantine started I gained an unreal amount of weight very quickly. I started the day after Labor Day, 2020. To date, I’ve lost 70lbs. I finally feel like I have my life back. 2 things you have to do: do a full day (or a majority of the day) fast at some point during the week and ALWAYS drink your water. This has been one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me and I’m very grateful for this app!

I like the flexibility. I’ve never done a diet like this. I’m on 2d week and starting to get used to not eating for certain periods of day. I prefer late night and day fasting ending at 4pm as I’m so busy during day it’s easier to do during day. Knowing I can enjoy a nice dinner at the end of my fast period is a plus still getting used to the coach and have only lost 1lb but the help message I got says your body has to change so I’m getting the idea now I feel great too. Try to do a workout during your fasting period I think that helps too.

Visual App. This is a great fasting app for me. There are so many visual elements that show what stage of the 16:8 plan I am currently on. It shows when I get to the fat burning stage, the ketosis, and then the autophagy stage before the 16 hr fasting stage is complete. This way I can sense my biofeedback at each stage. That’s just me and it’s a good match. Also I like the badges you can earn and the app is free until you decide you like it and you want to open up many more features. Right now I’m deciding whether intermittent fasting is for me and until then free is good for me.

It’s great. I love this app and recommend to others. I am not using the premium version but I still love this app. It alerts me when I am close to or am starting my eating period or fasting period. I get a notification an hour before each starts. I wanted to start intermittent fasting since I wanted to lose weight but without always having to eat healthy and workout. Now I eat semi-healthy and get my workout from my gym class in school. I’ve only used it for one week but I’ve lost 1.5 lbs and I ate cake most of the week and had pizza and everything unhealthy and greasy. Anyway I definitely recommend trying fasting if you don’t want to have the hassle of trying to eat extremely healthy. At the beginning it is a bit difficult but after a few days you get used to it and you aren’t hungry. I use the 16-8 fasting method and skip breakfast. I am a student so I don’t fully skip breakfast but I only eat a small and healthy breakfast. This way I don’t get hungry until lunch.

I can't find anything wrong w this app!. It does what it's supposed to do. It has tons of content to educate yourself. Notifications are super helpful and best of all, all of the content you need is available for free. I'm sure that if you find you are still fasting and using the AP after 90 days or so then you might benefits from the paid version. I have only been doing this for a week so I can't speak on weight loss or anything, BUT I know that for the last five days I have woke up to find that my ankles and fingers are not swollen for the first time in a while. If that's the only benefit I get, it's enough to make the process worth it

Helped me lose +30lbs. This app is perfect for people who are new to intermittent fasting. I moved away to college and ended up going from 132lbs to 165lbs at my heaviest. I tried other diets that failed miserably and made me gain all my weight back instantly, and never found a workout routine that I consistently stuck to. Intermittent fasting was admittedly hard to stick to at first, but with enough persistence and getting myself back on track I was able to get my weight down to 130lbs. Intermittent fasting has “reset” my stomach or rather how much food I can intake in one sitting. You should be warned that in order to see real weight loss results, you have to pair intermittent fasting with healthier eating and moderate to light weekly exercise. I have been using this app for two years now and have never purchased anything on this app, I was able to lose all the weight by just using the free services provided. I would recommend this app to people who are brand new intermittent fasting or people who are seasoned to fasting.

Great Fasting App. Good, easy to use, fun challenges and badges, plenty of different fasting options. Interesting little tidbits to read daily from the coach. I’m currently using the paid version, but found the free version gave you a several different fasting plans and other features, so I may go back to that version eventually.

Pretty great!. I downloaded this giving it a try like my friend did. I didn’t realise how much I snacked until I stopped myself eating through different periods. I paid for the coach because I just want something to work. I had a spinal fusion, due for leg surgery and on top I have inappropriate sinus tachycardia. Exercise can be extremely hard for me, but within 3-4 days I lost 2.5kg.

Paid for 1 year & coach has disappeared. I never write negative reviews for apps but this one has me fuming! While I like this app, I was charged for a 1 year membership instead of 3 months. When I contacted customer service about the error they never responded to me. Now, despite paying for 1 year, when I log into the app and use the plans with the coach it is asking me to re-subscribe to the coach. Save yourself the money and just the app for free! I won’t ever pay for this app again!

Misleading. Don’t appreciate how it’s promoted as $3 a week and then they deduct the whole price in one go. Unimpressed Update. They got in touch with me to tell me they don’t see how they are intentionally advertise the price incorrectly. And they (as a big corporation) don’t have to uphold consumer rights regarding refunds. Do yourself a favour and just avoid. It’s not worth the money - hence my trying to get a refund. $3 I would cop for this app, but it’s not worth a $50 upfront investment - it’s essentially an alarm telling you when to eat.

Simple, easy, no ads. I really love this app. I downloaded it 3 weeks ago and I’ve been using it non stop since. There are no advertisements in the app and it simply sends you a notification when you can or can’t eat. Already lost 2.5 kilos and I’m feeling a lot better about myself.

Body fast works fast. This app is excellent to use very easy and simple process to start with. The timetable and reminders are great to know where I’m up to and to help me stay on track. Highly recommend! Membership is reasonably priced.

Too good to be true?. Honestly I never write reviews for apps 😂 but I feel like this one deserves one ! BodyFast Experience. I am using the app for a guide I’m losing the weight, cooking the meals everything is going great I am just not recording my progress as I should be as I’m a bit illiterate to technology at 70. Coach keeps prompting me to stop fasting or drink more water which is good I am reading it but just not acknowledging it. So my experience with the app is very positive I have learnt to also fast a lot longer, so what I will take away from this app is positivity & success. It has been a great experience.

Great app.. I am enjoying this app, a lot. The interface is easy to understand, layout is good. I wish there was a calander / diary section so I could document my personal progress, and add notes about my progress, to look back on.

Disappointed. The marketing for this app says it will teach you about intermittent fasting as give special tips to help make it work. This is misleading. Most of the app is marketing the coached program, which costs extra and seems to give access to the recipes and tips. The basic app is really just a time keeper. It also gave me access to a recipe for toasted chick peas, which are nice. I would not buy this app again.

Great beginner app. I’ve found this great for beginning intermittent fasting. I get an alert when I need to fast and then again when I can eat. I haven’t paid for coach yet, a few fasting schedules are available still for free. Will probably add the coach (paid) service soon

Explanation required. So I need to pay $40 3 month sub then another $30 3 month sub for a coach correct me if I’m wrong. Wasn’t expecting to have to pay another subscription after paying $40 just to gain access to app. Haven’t paid the other $30 btw seems scammy expecting a 24 hour turn around in response before I contact my bank to get the initial $40 back.

So far so good!. Great app and easy to use. I just wish I could get some more coaching and info without having to ‘earn it. Having said that the Facebook group and the community that comes with this app is awesome.

Very helpful. I’ve done fasting myself on my own and I have had great success. This app was recommended to me and I am pleasantly surprised how it provides support and information that is not only helpful, but encouraging. I would highly recommend it.

Loving it!. Not sure what the naysayers were after - but this gives me exactly what I want. Tracks measurements, and now I really only start feeling hungry when I get the “nearly done” message! Only improvement would be if the app integrated with Health Kit to see everything in the one place.

Don’t know why I didn’t consider this sooner!. I have been trying to budge some weight for years and I just couldn’t do it! Tried the diets, the shakes, the meal plans, the exercise regimes and I just could not keep it up with work, life and me! Now… I am feeling better, losing weight and still working, looking after family and fasting…and nobody knows…just noticing a better version of me evolving.

Take money out of your account. Do not do it i have just downloaded the app and not even signed up to it and the have taken $58 out twice already. I emailed them with proof that i do not have a account as well as the money being taken out of my account and the reply was. We will not be refunding your money due to it being after the 30 day trial. I DIDNT SIGN UP TO THIS STUPID APP. I now have to go thrpugh my bank and get then to refund it. There is no communication from this app nor os there any care for or from anyone. Do not download and definitely would not recommend. It should be shut down

Very confusing. The app is free and looks alright and it’s very good on how you can change around your own clock of how you want to fast. BUT.. as I was trying to set my own schedule it became very confusing on how long it I would be fasting for. And if I wanted to set a time to start the fast it would say I couldn’t and changed it to either 12am or 3pm?? I would love to start using this app but it’s just so confusing on how too!!

Preview. Great app. Love the variety in my programs. No criticism just a suggestion . I would really love to see the next week’s preview of fasting times. This would greatly help me to plan ahead for social engagements and meal planning . Thank you for your consideration .

Review. Keeps me on track. I wish the coaching sessions had a little more information but they are decent. I wish the recipes would change and more would at least be added as you move through the weeks, as the same recipe has been the recipe of the week for over a month now and no new recipes have been added. I like that you can modify your time and choose from many plans.

I’ve got 75lbs to lose. I just completed the power week for weight loss. It was tough. I got through it with sure mind power. I’m not sure I could do that hard a week again, but it helped me jump start my weightloss and health journey. This app does the work of calculating for me. It tells me when to eat, fast, drink water. Highly recommend it.

Takes a bit to learn how to adjust stages for shift work. I found it hard to learn how to adjust the time periods. As a shift worker I don’t have standard hours so am constantly having to adjust.

Great Idea. I’m not sure of why you don’t have a food tracker attached to this program. I personally believe it could be better for the people who like to track the food they eat. I help to be accountable. So no that note I give this a 3 star rating. Would love to see it improve.

This app Sucks- Don’t waste your money. Once you subscribe it doesn’t allow you to change times. It is so inflexible. I have used other apps that were a little more money but they did so much more and were much more user friendly. I thought I would save myself some money with this app. I have been using it for a week and I’m done. Going back to the other app.

Not free at all as advertised. Clicked on this looking for a free, simple fasting app. I put all my information in, as soon as I had my email it comes up with monthly subscription options. That’s a real sneaky way of getting someone’s email information so they can sell it off. The only thing free about this app is that it has a calendar for setting up your fasting times. I’ll be deleting this pretty damn fast.

Impossible to cancel do not purchase. I signed up for this app several months ago and it is impossible to cancel subscription. I do not use it or wish to use this app and they keep charging my credit card !! I have contacted them and they do nothing.

SCAM, DECEPTIVE - DO NOT PURCHASE. Imagine you’re given an empty box, making claims, and you pay to see what’s inside, only to find that when you open the box and it’s empty. You then don’t get a refund, even after 5 exchanges with support. They offered me a year free, but would not return my money even 5 min after purchase to be able to see what it is about. If it doesn’t create any value for me and I want my money back, why would I want a year free? Normalization of Unethical, immoral behaviour in our world does not make that okay.

Amazing!. Keep up the great work guys! This is a pretty freakin useful app. Also the Facebook group? Amazing!! Have a couple of suggestions for you guys tho. 1. Is there a way to add more stats let say workout or health ones that can be extracted directly from the health apps or external devices like fitness watches? I would really like to know how my health data affect my IF plan. 2. Have you guys think in integrating with a couple of WiFi scale apps to get measurements data from them? Same goal from point one. I think it would be a nice extra feature. 3. Can you guys integrate the app with the Facebook group so comments and support could be access directly from the App? These are some of my ideas about this app. But overall great work.

Great app for weight loss!. I love this app! I’ve had it for about 5 weeks and I’m at 16 lbs lost! If there’s one thing they can fix, though, it would be where you put in your water intake. I wish you could just manually key the number of ounces/liters consumed, instead of having to do the math with the current setup. Otherwise, it’s simple to use and gets results!

THE BEST. This app will change you. The effort needed to follow this diet is minimal. One week is all you have to try it and you will be committed to keep using it - makes it so easy to lose weight! Get the paid coach subscription for this app, it will adjust your fasts to keep the rate of your weight loss a healthy pace to accomplish your goal. BodyFast is a great App. I have been wanting to undertake an intermittent fasting routine for quite awhile. Getting this App made the commitment easy. It’s fun to see how far you are in a fast, and plan for the time you will eat. I am looking forward to seeing how I feel at the one week mark. I have ten pounds to lose, but body composition needs to change too. I highly recommend this App to help motivate and keep track of a fasting routine.

Great so far. I just joined and my problem is I don’t eat enough at the right times. I like this app because it reminds me that I should eat and now I am keeping track of my water as well. Since I have just started I have seen progress yet. But I am going to keep an open mind and do as the app says. I will update this as soon as results are seen. All in all I like this app Patty B

So far it’s interesting. I just downloaded and started the app. No trial use of premium. It’s not a deal breaker but I do like to see what I could be doing. It’s difficult to figure out the fasting set up. I will try it at least a week. Then I will update my review. I like the set up so far but it is difficult to see what plan I am able to use and which I have to pay for.

Wonderful App. I have fasted before and started again, I was looking for a good app that will help me keep track and this is the one! I love how it explains every stage of fasting and what is happening in your body during the process. Very clear and understandable. You can also keep track of your weight and the amount of water you need according to your body size. Yes it calculates that for you! There is so much more to it! Love it!

Would not have believed IT!. I have never let myself go until I felt need to refuel my body. Because I kept adding to the calories and fat already in my storage which they call OBESITY. This app is awesome in guiding me to a who new way fo doing and seeing food. Exercising is also going great. Able to rest better and no more cholesterol meds.

Body Fast Coach Delivers On Their Promise.. I had an issue accessing the coach feature when in first paid for the app. After contacting support and my bank to report what happened, I heard from Body Fast. This all happened over a 2 day period, but Body Fast responded, heard my concern and provided a viable solution. I’m now fasting with the support of the coach feature and I’m happy😊

Helpful. I have been struggling with my weight my entire life. When my Dr suggested I try intermittent fasting I searched for an app that could help. It may be a simple thing but I like that there is a countdown clock for fasting and Eating periods. I’ve been using it for less than a week but I find it fun and motivating. Even if I’m hungry, seeing that my fast will end in a couple hours is motivating and like a personal challenge. Simple but useful app

Be prepared to follow a very strict weekly routine. This app gives you weekly routines to follow. If you vary from those weekly routines you cannot document that without Changing the data from previous days. No customization available. So basically, if you sign up for a routine and you are suppose to fast for 16 hours but do 18 hours instead the app can’t accommodate/track that. Horrible app not worth the money unless you can truly commit to a week. It should be able to track your fast in real time but it can’t . There are other apps that are free that are much better (zero). They deleted my post on their Facebook site. I tried to get my money back but was denied.

Putting Weight Loss Goal Within Reach. I am new to fasting and I thought it would be arduous task of being so hungry I would want to eat everything in sight during the fasting periods, but so not the case. This app almost feels as if I have a buddy holding me accountable to sticking to the plan. Even though there are apps like this that are free, I guess I feel more inclined to continue with this because I paid for it? I dunno, but I am greatly satisfied thus far.

Surprised by all of the features!. I really really like this app! I’ve fasted For all sorts of lengths by myself. Everything I wanted is not only included in this app, but in the free version! Reminders, encouragement, countdown timer, ability to adapt to my lifestyle, weight entries... it’s fantastic! I’d love to try the coach sometime but I’m a bit leery of paying for 3, 6, or 12 months all at once. Not at the app, but at my level of commitment - but isn’t that the point?! Accountability on point! Great Job!!

Works for me!. I’ve tried a lot of ways of losing weight which didn’t work, but intermittent fasting has helped A LOT! This app is perfect because it makes my schedule for me with reminders and reminds me when to drink water as well. I’m so happy with the weight that I’ve lost and the increase with my metabolism. Even once I reach my weight goal, I will continue this lifestyle as it makes me feel healthier and better!

Good App but.... I really do like this app! And it has helped and better than other apps I have come across, BUT I wish you could do something with a fasting week all ready in progress like pause and it adds on time to the next day for example when you sleep in, significant other surprises you for a date night, friends come over with food etc...I don’t pay for coach as I don’t want the monthly charge, if it was a one time purchase I’d be all over that!

Miraculous. Been on a plateau for the longest time and I only just started losing weight again after I went on BodyFast specifically. Cos I have tried other IF apps but they dint work for me as well as BodyFast. Not really sure why haha but I’m loving it. The best part is the freedom from logging what I ate and counting calories! Doing the 16-8 is not so hard and I find I can eat almost anything I want and still lose weight. Highly recommend this.

So far, so good! Great app.. I really like this app so far; it offers more than any of the others I looked at, including weight tracking. The coach feature I opted for looks great, too. I started with the intermediate plan and love the way it varies my fast days and times so that my body won't adjust and stop burning fat. It will also adjust to the results I'm seeing to optimize my fasting plan. So far, I've lost a few pounds fasting and it's been super easy; this app makes it easier and kind of fun, too.

Tell me how many hours. Please tell me how many hours I have fasted at a quick glance. I am new to fasting and trying to work up to 16/8 schedule. I started with a 14/10 and it has varied, when I can do more or I’ve adjusted for family gatherings etc. I love that the app allows me to do this but I’m doing math all the time to figure Pitt fasting hours day to day and having to keep track of them outside the app. Just calculate my Daily hours please! Also time adjustment should be able to be made without effecting the end or start time. Everything else is great!

It’s a new day!. I just started yesterday. It seems very easy I have actually extended my fasting hours for the day. This is something totally different than I have done in the past I am very excited to be on this new journey. I’ll have to comment more in the coming weeks as this is just a day into it. I haven’t gotten a coach yet because I want to see if this is going to work for me. Moving forward!!!

So far so good!. I am really enjoying this app. My sister was the one who actually told me about it snd we started fasting together. I’m trying the free version first to see if I would like to purchase a coach. A couple of questions I have, does this app link with your Apple Watch and Apple health? If not, it definitely should be able to link with Apple and Samsung devices, since there are so many apps that can link together now. Other than that! I love this app!

Credit card phishing. New users beware this app may not be safe. I was planning to restart BodyFast for my New Year’s resolution. Somehow as I was updating my information in the app on my iPhone I had a pop-up it took me to credit card entry for what looks like free use of the app. Before I realized what was going on, I had entered my credit card info. Multiple transactions were immediately attempted, then declined by my credit card. I consider myself somewhat savvy, and I still got duped. I deleted my account and will not be using the BodyFast app in the future. Developers you need to check your app for safety and security of your users!

Don’t waste your money. I never leave reviews, but after reading so many positive BodyFast lovers, I jumped right in without caring about the money. I had no idea what to expect, but the pictures previewing the app is literally all it is (there is nothing else) I don’t know why the developers call it a “coach” because there is no coaching. Ex) Focus on a healthy diet. No sugar or white flour...sounds great, but for someone without experience in a “healthy diet” they would be lost. The “challenges” are ridiculously simple. A 30 minute walk twice a week isn’t a “challenge” <— to some, yes and I encourage them to improve, but the app states it’s individually tailored to each person. It’s clearly not. I saw another app with a built in meal plan for less money, so I expected way more out of this app. After seeing all the people having trouble getting a refund inside of their 14 days, I decided to let it go. Best advice. Use the Free features or take your money somewhere else.

Wanted more flexibility. I got this app thinking if I paid I could have all the flexibility I am looking for having just read Dr Mindy Pelz's book, "Fast Like a Girl." It allows women to fast according to their hormonal cycle: Days 1-10 Power Fast Phase, Days 11-16 Manifestation Fast Phase, Days 17-20 Power Fast Phase, Day 21 to end Nurture Phase. So, I wanted to define a 10 day plan, a 6 day plan, a 4 day plan, and an open-ended day by day plan. No go. There is only an 8-day plan option. The plans also force you to start on Sunday (or Monday, can't recall), and I obviously want to start my 10 Day Power Fast phase whenever my cycle starts. Can't change plan start day, either. So the app might be great if those limitations on plan length being a forced 8 days that start on a only day of the week, but since that doesn't work for why I'm fasting I didn't try it and got a refund from Apple.

Beginning my journey. I absolutely LOVE this app!!!!! I’ve tried intermittent fasting before but didn’t continue due to my own inconsistency. This app helps me stay on track as well as giving me incentives as I accomplish each week. I also like the fact that I get a coach that knows how to fast properly, which makes it easier for me to follow. We will see how this goes. But I am optimistic and excited about the results in the future.

Doesn’t accommodate night shift. This app is pretty good. I like it. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now. I really like the body measurement tracking. Great. But... even if I put in my usual meal times correctly, the app doesn’t seem to notice. I work overnight shift. So I would eat breakfast at night and dinner in the morning. Sleep during the day. Work (awake) at night. No matter what, the app usually has me fasting during the night and eating during the day. I have to flip the schedule every time.

Simple!. I am using the free version of BodyFast without paying for any of the optional additional purchases. The interface is clean and simple and so are the functions. If all you need is an app to help you with a intermittent fasting schedule, this does a good job. However, I wish the app had more options for functions. Some ideas - Display of how much time is left in my current phase (eating or fasting) in the notification review bar - More personalization in notifications received for start/end of each phase (ex. I'd like a notification not just an hour before a new phase starts but a reminder an hour after and an encouragement halfway through) - Shifting the schedule more effectively (i.e. not having to shift each day manually - all days following the shift should automatically adjust)

Not happy. It said it was a free app. Yes to download the app it’s free. Then to use the app there is a monthly charge. I did opt to use the 3 mo plan. That’s the only way you can find out anything on what this plan entails. I found it not to be user friendly and not something I want to try. Now I am paying for something I don’t want. I have tried to cancel as soon as I got to see what this plan was but now I am stuck paying for it. What a waste! I just received a reply from the developer. What a scam. There was no real answer to my complaint. Steer clear from this APP. THEY are not willing to help you soon as you send them your money. I am hoping that I canceled this App when the 3 months are over. They don’t make that clear either. GOOD LUCK

My Journey. BodyFast Improved my Health. Today I’ve been on BodyFast for 2 years. Yayyyy. Not only did I lose 50 pounds, my diabetes, which I had struggled to control for more than 30 years, is now under control! I reduce my insulin intake by over 90%. I can walk six flights of stairs straight, without resting, and my arthritis has improved. I love my new self. thank you, BodyFast.

Do not buy subscription. Within a few minutes of using the “coaching” subscription version I realized it is a computer generating “coach” with little feedback opportunities. The fasting schedule is way too erratic to be healthy and beneficial. I tried to cancel within five minutes but was rejected. I would steer clear of this one. The response to my above post is incorrect and untrue since I asked for a refund within minutes and it was denied. Update: I tried emailing your support group as suggested below and got the same response as before...that I had to contact Apple. I did and was rejected again. So what is basis for your representation that you will refund within 14 days? So far, this is not true for me.

Helps you be accountable. I've used this app off and on for a few years but never consistently because I was inconsistent. I just decided one day that I didn't like the numbers on the scale and I knew how to change them because I've done it before. This is a great tool that allows you to track your fasts, water and weight. It let's you be accountable to yourself for your goals.

Starting off with a bang. I’m into my 2nd week of fasting and my 1st week weight was down 6 lbs. I had been dieting for approximately 2 months prior to fasting and I just couldn’t get the weight off. I’ve had weight issues all of my life. I would lose it say never again and the next thing I know I’m back where I started. I’m hopeful that with intermittent fasting I can use it to lose the weight and also make it a way of life to keep my weight and BMI at a healthy level.

Lost 22lbs in just over 4 weeks!. I was very skeptical at first thinking not eating would “put my body into starvation mode and store fat” as people always told me, but I figured I would give it a shot and do not regret! I’ve been 100% dedicated and did not cheat, and every meal I was motivated to eat clean, (no bread, or high in carb food, sugars, and milk.) it may seem difficult at first but I’ve gotten to the point where it doesn’t bother me and feels natural!

Take Charge and Change Your Outlook. I just had a friend share this concept with me on Wednesday. I was reading through it as I was sipping my coffee with 1/2&1/2 and Stevia, so I started Thursday. I love that I can check in with my phone to see how long I wait to eat. One day in and loving it. Needs to shed some poundage that just keeps hanging on. Looking forward to results as I change my rating habits to be a lesser (on pounds) of me!

Not enough. I have being using BodyFast for a few days only. App is neatly done. However, being user of many other food tracking weight losing apps, so far BodyFast is more a time keeper rather than a true losing aid. No way to connect to your fitness apps, no tracking whatsoever. Even though fasting is not about tracking or counting calories, some sort of analysis would be of great help. If we already paid for an app believe me that we would’t mind to keep track of things to get more insight of our progress. If this is all I am gonna get probably I won’t be extending my usage period.

Life changing.. Body fast has made me aware of my old eating habits and changed the way I not only look at food but how I eat and relate to food. Fasting has changed my life for the better as I am more productive, aware of surroundings and situations, and overall feel normal. Fasting has changed my outlook on life and my outlook on the future. As long as it remains free. I love this app. The ability to modify the fasting schedules according to what is happening in my life is great. Also wouldn’t be able to do it without the reminders. As long as the app remains free and doesn’t require me to have a coach I love this app. Down 1.5 in a week eating what I want when not fasting, using 16-8 skipping breakfast. I’ve noticed already that when I eat I am eating less and feeling full.

Good App!. I’ve been searching for a an app to help me stay on intermittent fasting. I’m using the free version right now and like it a lot. It even reminds you it’s time to hydrate. I downloaded 3 other apps and found out you have to subscribe to a plan AFTER I downloaded them. Then I stumbled on this. The available subscriptions have more coaching and recipes which I may consider once I see how IF works for me.

Feeling better. Since I started fasting I noticed a change in my body, no more blowing, no more bowel obstruction! And I can manage my times, is difficult at the beginning because you are changing your life style but get easy with time plus there is lots of options you can choose that is better for you! So far I been accomplish some new habits and trying to get more deep on fasting since I feel really good

A simple change = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I haven’t used this app a lot yet to truly attest to its effectiveness, but one thing is certain: being in the military, I constantly use 24 hour military time. Considering that this solely revolves around monitoring time, I’d appreciate it if I didn’t have to do the conversions in my head! Secondly, but of less importance, how about an optional persistent notification that counts down until the fast is over? Or at least a widget? Shouldn’t be too hard to implement, but I think it would serve as a constant reminder, and an easy go-to in case you want to check.

Fasting. Who knew?. My girlfriend lost weight on this program and recommended it to me. I am disciplining myself and reading the coaching tips daily. I am amazed what I did not know. The coaching really helps my mind stay with the fasting. Thanks to anyone involved putting this app together. Just wish there was a way to track food in this program as well. One stop to get it all done would be nice.

Very difficult to get in touch with the developer. I had issues with the user name and password and had no context from the company. I lost my money. Update : they communicated with me and had refunded all the money. Hope in the near future I can use the app and they can improve how to reset the password in an easy manner. Thank you for the refund .

Got me off to a great start, could use some more features. I’m thrilled that I tried this app. I’m eight weeks into IF and I feel fantastic. The app really got me started off right with lots of guidance. Now that I’m out of that early Ogaden there’s features I’d love to have. Adjusting the times is a little clunky; I mix up my fasting window and would love a simple “Start/Stop” button. It would also be great to have the ability to track my fast on my Watch. Still an awesome app that I hope will get even better.

One of the easier programs to follow. I’ve enjoyed using this app to keep me on track for fasting. I like that you can move fast times to support changes in your weekly schedule. I also like you have one day you can abort (if you just had one of those days) and the extra challenges are fun to add, to keep you excited. Overall I have enjoyed this app more than most others!

Not that serious. I feel that you make people feel they can lose weight just by sticking to these hours and it’s just not true! Before starting this I was already doing it due to health reasons and had lost about 8-9 pounds. I had changed a lot about my diet then, so I am not really surprised all I’ve been able to do on this APP is maintain. I’m 65 and not going to eliminate all good things from my lifestyle. A little overweight is fine by me.

Didn’t think I could do IF. I feel like the way we change the times is very confusing. That’s the only part of this app i dislike. I really enjoy the daily lessons and the “help” tab lessons as well. That’s what keeps me going. I didn’t think i could do IF because i have binge eating disorder and typically being restrictive with my diet makes it worse but honestly sense IF with this app (3 weeks ago) i haven’t binges sense! I’m kind of in shock!

Cool enough. Well to be honest I just got on this app today and I really think you guys will help me with fasting… with the fact that I could eat anything I want till a stoppage time is the best I just need to train myself more on my cravings now… I subscribed to a year plan by mistake honestly lol 😅… But I’m absolutely happy I did.. I hope you guys get downloads as possible 💪❤️

Could have a few more features. So far I really like the app I just wish it had a few more features. I wish there was a place to log in food and exercises for the day even though I know it is not necessary. Then I wouldn’t have to use two apps. I also wish there was a way to click when I start actually fasting vs only having the clock of when I’m supposed to be fasting since it may not match up perfectly every day.

Good app...unless you’re traveling. I really like this app but it doesn’t adjust with time zones. I travel for work and everyday I’m in a new time zone but it doesn’t adjust accordingly. I have my fasting schedule and now I’m having to do it manually counting forward/backward. Which is fine, but I can count hours without the app. This was just a way to make it easier but I wish it would count the actual hours fasting rather than go by my phones clock. Super big flaw if you are a traveler.

Love the app but.... This is the best app for intermittent fasting that I have found thus far. It is only missing one feature. It should have a start and stop timer so that we can keep up with the hours that we actually committed to the fast. I am having to use a separate app for that. I like to look back at the week and see how many days I actually completed the whole fast, or for how many hours. Nevertheless the app is amazing.
