Controls so difficult. The controls are so touchy and difficult to tweak, to use without a dedicated controller (ie use on iPhone by tilting for steering). There are a lot of adjustments for sensitivity, but none seem right, especially for a CASUAL race game player. I want to play in a semi-arcade mode, not full-on hard simulator. Or work up to full sim as I practice. I've played Real Racing for years and love it, the control is fine and linear. In GRID there are so many more tracks and cars, the pressure controls for accel/brake are great. But steering is just so touchy its almost impossible to handle. Plus, even on a brand new iPhone X this takes foreverrrrrrr to load. Sometimes there are cut screen movies you just can't exit from that take so long. You can't just pick this game up and play a quick couple laps, you need to dedicate 20 minutes - 10 for loading and 10 for driving. Props for such a complete game, cars, track, but without better input control or some kind of "motion smoothing" or "easy mode" it's just not truly enjoyable.

An iconic game for this platform. To those “devs” (it’s EA of course🤣😂) who implement countless greedy schemes to nickel dime us people who just love gaming, time to learn how to really make a game! No more fear of meaningless “repair” times when banging your car against others, no more fear of stupid “gas” or “energy” or whatever! This is THE GAME to play in your iPhones and iPads! I hope the game gets better with more and more bug fixes and enhancements. I really love to see all of the FREE (yes, all of them are free!!) DLCS. And also maybe there’s a problem with the iPhone X? It slows to a crawl in the middle of a race and times like that. And that home bar on the X... please make it go away when the game is on. It ruins the fun. Nothing unfixable through an update I assume. Thank you for your hard work guys!

Pay Once, Play Forever! An awesome game with a catch!. I just recently downloaded this game on my new iPad Pro 11inch and and I must say the graphics are top tier and might honestly be the best graphics I’ve seen on a game in the AppStore but there’s one issue that makes the game hard to enjoy and that is it does fit the screen and because so it makes for a difficult experience. I decided after trying it on the iPad I would download it onto my iPhone XS Max... it’s perfect. It fits perfectly on the screen and runs super smooth. All I ask is for an update to correct the resolution on the new iPad and hey maybe take advantage of the extra horses under the hood as well to maybe even push the graphics a bit further! Anyways, great game keep up the great work!

Disappointing.. Here is the TL;DR rundown on this game: If you have a Bluetooth game pad you are planning to get out every single time you want to play this game, by all means, buy it now- it will be one of the best $10 you spend. If you plan on using solely the chosen platform on which the developers released this game, i.e. an iPhone, then don’t waste your money- the controls are insufficient for the platform, lead to a poor user experience, and the developer is either too stubborn or lazy to update them to the arrow controls other iOS racers as well as the player community have become accustomed to over the last decade. You will have a bad time, never want to play the game, and eventually delete it like myself and thousands of others have done, chalking the $10 up as a loss.

Math is hard. So I decided to put this on my phone cause it might be easier to play then holding an iPad. After downloading the game and opening it I wanted to download the extra stuff and then am greeted to a message I don’t have enough room for the 2.06 gigs. So I then go to my settings and see that I have used 42 out my 65 available gigs. It might just be me but I thought 23 gigs is bigger than 2. I’m supper confused. Shut my phone off completely and restarted it and same issue. So tried downloading one thing and turning everything else off and it started to work, got 2 things downloaded then the game started and in the main menu tried to download the rest it made me go to settings to turn stuff on and restore for some reason and when I went back into the game I got the same thing although this time was telling me now it 3.08 gigs I didn’t have room for. App also made my settings app crash while I was messing with custom control settings. You have made a high quality product here it’s a shame I won’t be buying anymore of them. This was such a waste of money and time.

Terrible. I’m giving this game a one star because they do not give the option of zero stars. I read the reviews before I purchased this game thinking it can’t be as bad as all those negative reviews said, thinking, maybe they just did not have the car setup correctly according to the reply’s back from the developers. Turns out, they were right, you cannot control the cars even in ‘rookie’ mode with all the driving assists turned on, the only time you can truly control the car is just before the race starts and you are stopped at the starting line. Once it starts, (if this was a real car) you better plan on dying. I did not try it, but, ‘demolition derby’ mode might be fun, at least there you are supposed to crash! I can see why they do not have a free version to start with to see if you would want to buy a full version, they would not make any money. This is a game for those that do not know how to drive because they would not know difference any ways or know how bad this $10 game really is.

Amazing Just Needs Multiplayer. Overall a great gaming experience. Honestly fulfills that need to play Forza or Gran Turismo. Real Simulation racing at its finest on the IOS no doubt . The only thing that’s missing from this is in game multiplayer . Got a few friends onto this game and would love the opportunity to be able to race them as well as race the whole Grid Community and I know I can’t be the only one that feels the same . Literally just needs that one aspect and this game is a solid 5 star title for sure . (Really wish I could give it 4.5 out of 5 honestly a great with or without the multiplayer BUT would be a GREAT addition to this already amazing driving simulator!) Great Job Guys !!

Don’t buy it. After looking at the demos, I thought this game worked like Real Racing but with better graphics. The controls are completely different from Real Racing and are very frustrating. You have to apply pressure continuously to the screen to make your car accelerate. Turning corners is very difficult if you don’t slow down properly first. It’s like trying to turn on ice. The game overall is really complicated. I buy apps for their fun, but this one is more like a task. If the developers would add a mode, so that your car automatically accelerates and slows down for the turns, like Real Racing, it would be a fun game. Controlling the acceleration and braking by pressing buttons on the screen while your car slides all over the place is not fun in my opinion. It doesn’t appear that the developers had anyone test the game first, to see if it was fun. If they gave you a refund it wouldn’t be so bad. I just wasted $10.

Easily the best on iOS. This is hands down the best racing game on iOS. Not just racing sim, racing game. Forget RR3 and it’s pay to win or spend hours waiting for your car to repair after a race. Pay one reasonable amount up front and you’re good to go. They could have charged $60 for this game and it still would have been a better value than anything else out there. Great graphics, great options, great everything. I’m only starting to scratch the surface but I’m already way happier than with any racing game before it. Can’t wait to see what else it has to offer. It may take some time to get used to the controls (like 3D touching instead of only tapping, which is genius really) but you’ll get the hang of it and within minutes won’t be able to put it down. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Best Top of the Line racing Game for IOS. I been playing Real racing 3 for a very long time and when Grid autosport came out into iOS I got excited and was very impressed with the graphics physics and sounds and music this game has impressed me especially when I switched my phone from iPhone 5s to the 7 plus I was greeted by this game as it came out and the speed and everything about this game I fell in love with it This is a awesome game and I give credits to the team that designed the game there are a few things on my wishlist for this game that I feel would improve the overall experience +More variety of vehicles(Tuners,SUV,super cars,Luxury etc.) +Easier turning physics (Love the challenge but gets little frustrating when you can only turn the car so much and I have to keep adjusting it so I can manage the turns like the car actually would) +improved cockpit detail +not saying more music but yea,i was thinking something different like a club radio like forza has done with there horizons to give it a more exciting and better experience or just add more music like monthly or every few months to keep the experience alive for long term racers +More customizations (parts,engine tuning/upgrades) Keep up the good work and I hope to see these added to the game not only for my wishlist but for others too I feel it would attract a lot of racers and make the game experience overall more fun and addictive and keep the game itself alive

I LOVE IT!!!. Playing this game is to me even better than playing on console. The creators did everything right. The graphics, the real tracks that I have raced on other Grid games. I have found no flaw. The only thing that I want these guys to do is make a Dirt game. If they made a Dirt game for a similar price I can almost assure you that it would be a hit. I personally use an X-box one s remote to play this so I do not have the trouble in the controls that others may have so to those out there that are having trouble and have a blue tooth controller at all I would recommend trying that. All in all I would gladly pay dabble for this game and I have for much worse. Keep up the amazing work, and I am looking forward to more games from you.👍

Superb racing sim with small limitations. I’m so happy that this game exists. Having a realistic racing sim on my phone is insanely cool. I mostly race with the Formula cars, and they feel as close as you can get on an iPhone to the formula cars I’ve raced in PC sims. Really great game, well worth the 10 bucks. Notes to the developers: There are a few things that I don’t understand and wish you would update, such as how you can only race at night on a couple tracks in endurance mode. I get it might be too much to have night mode for all tracks, but why not make the few night tracks available for all cars? Abu Dhabi for example would be so much fun to race in a formula car at night. It’s such a small thing that I believe shouldn’t be too difficult to update, and it would improve the game a lot. Also, don’t underestimate street tracks in formula cars. I’ve raced every track available in the Formula A car and Chicago and Paris are by far the two most fun. Allowing races in those tracks in the Formula series campaign and time trials would add a lot. Thanks for creating such a great racing game!

Too touchy. The game has amazing graphics and is probably a great game if you have a wheel or controller but if you want to play from your phone forget it, the 3D Touch feature for the acceleration is too touchy and doesn’t work well making it extremely difficult to take corners without over steering or coming in wrong. I think there needs to be an option where you press the accelerator and it’s full throttle and you just release to slow down( the way real racing 3 is) I realize not everyone would like this and that’s fine, but for 10 dollars it needs to be more oriented for amateurs who haven’t played it before. There was no training races at all it just throws you into the game with no help. Great looking game that falls way short. Very disappointed.

My IPhone X burn in my hand. This game has one of the most detailed graphics out there on a mobile. It make your iPhone explode too much processing. And when it get hot the FPS goes between 5-7. It takes 25 minutes. Then you need let cool down, battery drain like a shot of water on the dessert. Aside that no micro transaction you get what you paid. For the developers, you really did an amazing job! You put the iPhone X processor to work more than it supposed. I don’t like the safe battery mode. And the drop frame rate. If you guys could adjust a lit bit more the game adaptation with the same graphics On IOS, Many of the complaints that I and many other would dissaper. Keep up the excellent work and all the Best! Great game. I’m loving the game so far. (Just by virtue of not being a wretched “freemium” game it probably deserves 5 stars.) The game play is fun. Really this is the spiritual successor to Real Racing 2 which I loved. I’d call the following comments rather than criticisms, but they’re worth knowing if you’re considering the game. (I’m only a dozen seasons in, so take it with a grain of salt, I’ve got a lot left to learn.) -I didn’t even know that there was qualifying until I was about six seasons in. I had expected that if there was quali, it would have taken me there first. Not every race has it, but now I know to check. (There’s practice as well, use it) -I’m happy that car setup is available, but it’s going to take you a long time to figure out exactly how all of the settings interact. Which is as it should be for a game of this type. -There is a pretty large jump in difficulty from one level to the next. The nice lady tells me it’s too easy on “professional” but I can’t break the top 8 on expert. I haven’t experimented with the custom difficulty options yet, so know that you’ll need to explore that as well. -I sort of wish the bumper camera view was more like a “grill” view. Meaning it’s really low, and it can be tough to see anything in traffic. If you prefer the other styles of view, it won’t be a problem.

King of mobile racing game. I did say GRID:Autosport is a good-but-not-as-good-as-it-can-be game on Steam when I played it first on Steam, the handle is a little strange with both keyboard and controller, the game progress is a little boring because back in original GRID, we can actually build a team...but when I play this game on my iPhone, OMG... First time to truly experience the concept of “grip” on a mobile game. And, no in app purchase, yeah! Ok I know this game has bunch of paid DLC on PC or whatever, at least I know they are “DONE”, may be they are off to holiday, may be they are off to brewing a brand new GRID, that’s all good. Better then sitting on base they built years ago and keep sucking money out off your account, yes I’m talking about “Rich Racing 3”, who just fail to keep the throne. Greedy king got overthrow by other competitors, I wound how many time that happened in history...

Stunning Achievement!. Worth every penny for a game that has so much content plus DLCs. Best controls and customisability of any iOS game I've played. Force touch analog accelerator and braking allow you to play this like a sim. I highly recommend using the steering position indicator when steering with gyroscope, especially for drifting. Using iPhone X I experience some of the high temperatures that are expected of a game of this graphical quality and only experience minor slowdowns as it heats up, usually alleviated by turning battery save mode on in the game. This most recent patch seems to help as well. My only gripe is cockpit textures since I love to drive from inside.

Best racing game out there!. Ok so I completely am satisfied with this game. It’s well worth the one time cost and I have very few complaints. The only complaint I can come up with, and it’s more of a suggestion than a complaint, is it would be really nice to have a better replay feature. Especially having a TV camera replay view. The only option for this is the view that toggles between multiple views. If would be much better imo with a stand alone TV broadcast camera view. Also it would be cool to have either a drone or helicopter aerial view as well. Other than that I can’t really complain. It’s a perfect game and you can tell the Deb’s spent a ton of time on the details One more suggestion, more options for the demo derby. This could include more tracks and car selections. The camera suggestions above would enhance the derby too imo. Tracks like a common figure 8, and even oval racing. additions to this could make this game even better.

Oh man.. I’ve never written a review for anything in my life. But this game is absolutely 100% the best racing game you can get for IOS. I have my settings to simulator (assists slow you down) so it definitely takes a bit of practice to get used to and I’ve crashed out of my share of races but wow. the AI is very intelligent, very quick on the higher settings, graphics are absolutely incredible especially for a mobile game. Ive had it for over a year and the game has crashed one maaaaybe two times. Feral and codemasters did an amazing job here. The only suggestion i have is to allow players to choose their number and maybe put some helmet options. other than that, if you’re looking for a racing game for your phone this is definitely without a doubt the game to pick.

Graphics are detailed but experience is not. I wont repeat what others have said about the graphics because they are amazing and the pay once price is the best bargain in the App Store. Also, I actually like the tilt controls on my 12 inch iPad Pro. It seems pretty direct and more like a real driving experience. What I I don’t like and am very surprised is missing are a few details that would help. First there are no useable rear view or side view mirrors. How can you find out who is behind you or beside you when overtaking. There is on view that kind of give you mirrors but they are obscured and not useable. This is probably my biggest complaint. Second, is there are NO DRIVERS! It’s kind of surprising and kind of freaky to see cars go around the track with no drivers. Given the level of detail in all other aspects I can’t figure out why this detail is missing. Either way it is the best game in the App Store but would really like to be able to see around me when driving not just ahead of me.

NO MORE IN-APP PURCHASES!. I don't know about you; but I'm tired of all these game developers getting carried away with in-app purchases. Your parents give you a $100 Apple Gift Card; and the next thing you know, you're out of money. Just because these developers can't do something as simple as charge you $10 for the game... once and for all... It's nice to see the people at Feral Interactive agree with me on that. In-app purchases are nowhere to be found in this game. They don't charge you anything extra for additional stuff; it's all right here! Thank you, Feral. For not overcharging us for stuff that should come with the game outright. Hopefully more developers will see your light; and jump on board.

Love the pay once approach, hate the game... I love how this is a stand-alone game where you pay once and you play to your heart’s content, just like a true console game would be.. But wow... They claim that this is supposed to be more of a “simulator” style game, but I have driven many cars, and have never had so many issues just trying to drive in a straight line! NO car on earth drives like these in the game. It honestly feels as if you’re driving a boat with how slow the game responds to your attempts at turning, but it gets even more “fun” once your car starts to turns finally and suddenly it’s as if your whole car is driving on a solid ice patch with no traction whatsoever.. The cars control horribly. The graphics are okay, I wasn’t blown away by them, but I also wasn’t upset with them. Also, I haven’t seen a single option in the game for any kind of customization to the cars, or even any option to try to buy new cars. I may be wrong on that though, because after an hour of giving this game a chance, I just couldn’t bring myself to continue playing it. But I know that I never saw any options in there for it at all.. Overall, I love the fact that they are not trying to do the stupid in app purchase garbage, but playing this game felt like more of a job, than anything I would consider to be fun. I personally would not spend the money to buy it. The game itself gets 1 star from me, but I added another just because I like and respect the pay once aspect of it.

Great overall. Thank you for the pay-once-and-play concept that most developers have completely abandoned. If you have a quality product you should be able to have the confidence to charge a fair price and let the game speak for itself. This one certainly does. The car physics are pretty good for a mobile game and the graphics on my 12.9” gen 2 iPad Pro are frankly incredible. Not sure how real world the individual car handling is but if it’s accurate, wow, the McLaren P1 is truly horrible. It’s loose under throttle. It’s loose under braking. It’s loose coasting. The thing just can’t go around corners. What lunatic would drop a cool million on such garbage?!

Console quality race game and fun. This game is the real deal and I’m not even trying to overhype it. It has depth, a learning curve, and is realistic. This isn’t like other games where you just mash on the gas and ram into other cars to win. You must use racing techniques and skill to win which makes each race feel different and unique. Lots of cars and lots of tracks and lots of ways to customize the game. I was happy to pay $9.99 for this game and this is exactly what’s been missing in the App Store. I’m tired of kiddie games with micro transactions and love console style games with full levels and those are the developers I’ll continue to support and rate high. Graphics and sound are both 5 star.

By far and one of the prettiest games ever to grace iOS. If you want the best racing game on mobile by far and one of the prettiest game ever to grace the platform, stop reading and go buy this game right now. Why? It's simple, really. GRID Autosport is a fully premium experience with content that will take you forever to complete, a ton of ways to play, fantastic visuals, and highly customizable controls and difficulty level that will suit every player out there. Feral Interactive has really brought a console-quality game to iOS. The port of the game is almost perfect, but expect your battery to drain faster than the gas tank of a supercar and also the rare frame drops when visuals are turned up (even on an iPhone X). Despite these small issues, GRID Autosport is a fantastic game and one racing fans have been craving for.

Not an arcade style game people!. Just wanted to let the folks who are complaining about how difficult the car is to control to go back to their favorite arcade racer. First of all nothing is gonna control like a real car so lower your expectations. Second, as far as iPad racing games go, wow! You have to compare apples to apples. Sure it’s not a console game, but it’s the closet thing going. The only complaint I have for the developers is that the manual shifting is a little tough and I wish there was a way to apply variable pressure to the throttle and brakes. If there is, please let me know. Having to go full throttle or full braking every time you touch the petals makes for a lot of spin outs and locked up brakes. Otherwise, great game!

Too Hard. This game is impossible. The most I have ever spent on a game for iOS and I haven’t had the least bit of a good time playing it. Actually it’s been down right frustrating. It’s supposed to be a simulation. If this is what driving a car in real life was like People would probably die their first day on the road. I have tried adjusting the controls to many different ways and have yet to find a happy medium or just a setting that will let me go for 60 seconds without spinning out. Every time I try to give this game a chance again I give up out of frustration. This is supposed to be a game that people play for fun right? I have never played a driving game this hard in my life. It’s a shame because the design and graphics are beautiful. I have had this game since it came out and have never even played it for more than 2 races before I give up. This is not fun.

SPUDANKY!. Best racing game on iOS. I’m an arcade racer nut! So dipping into more of a racer sim is a new experience for me. What a great experience! I like I can play when I want, without having to slog through a pay to win progression. Because I’m free from that type of over used progression model, it’s helped me to ease into this racer genre more easily. The game looks great, but some textures are still a little jank up close. The free DLC HD texture pack has failed for the inside of your car tho! But overall it is a beautiful looking game. The controls feel solid. When I mess up, I know it’s me, thanks to unforgivingly tight controls. I successfully use both tilt, and a wireless controller, but prefer to use the wireless controller exclusively on this one. Not true for other popular arcade racers, where I can’t control the car at all using a controller. With Grid, a wireless controller is a pleasure. CON: It makes my iPhone 7 hot fairly quickly. In terms of performance, it seems to run better than some people’s experience on latest iPhone. Performance is overall pretty good considering my dated phone, but I definitely will get minor frame rate issues at times. They can definitely do with better with optimization. PRO: Driving at high speeds down the streets of San Francisco. Definitely recommend as a great racing game, but also as refreshing old school approach to selling games. Respact!

Best quality racing option in the App Store. I’ve been playing racing games all my life (and in all devices, consoles, PC’s and this game is by far the best option within all the other options in the store. I feel like I’m playing GT on my PS4 Pro. Superb graphics (if you play in a good device) performance mode 60 FPS and I always play with the Xbox controller and the game runs smooth as if I was running it on PC. Extensive career and options. Button mapping is amazing. Amazing game. Hopefully they keep making more like this. No ads of course. For the price I think is a bargain for such a high quality port. Thanks to the developers for this piece of work.

the BEST racing game on the market!. i had recently heard that this game was ported to IOS, and i instantly bought it! and to no one’s surprise, this is an amazing port of the console version! this has to be the BEST mobile racing game you can get, and its worth every last penny. it does burn your battery down extremely fast, but there is a battery saver mode that does the job. the controls can take time to get used to, but you can customize it to your will so anyone can get the hang of it quickly. and if you’re a console player like me, it has MFI controller support. Feral did an absolutely wonderful job porting this to mobile, and all of the DLC is free, of course. if you’re looking to play a racing game on your phone, choose this one overall! you get EVERYTHING at the start, so you don’t need to work for anything. this is a one of a kind game!

Grid. I can’t believe how amazing the game is! I’ve been playing it for a few days and still can’t get over how incredible it is to play. It’s also nice that you don’t need to pay extra money to advance in the game! Jump in and race whatever car and track you desire. Also how much fun the additional cars and tracks are in the additional career section. Thanks to the developers for that and again what a pleasure to play, graphics are amazing and it really is the best car racing game on iOS! For all of us that have been playing real racing 3, come on over and save “literally a bundle of cash and away from greedy developers” theirs a new game in town and it’s called “Grid”

This is an amazing game..... Sweet *ss game folks! It has stuff no other mobile games do! And like cars themselves, every vehicle is different and even if 2 vehicles of the same make & model, and year are identical, they are still usually miles apart when they are modified for 2 different racers...modern cars are precisely built for 1 driver, and even for 1 track, and even built and setup for certain weather conditions? Take this into account before you blame the game for poor control and handling? LEARN TO CHANGE YOUR STYLE AND ADAPT to whatever conditions you and your car are surrounded by? Do that and your driving skills will progress very quickly! Complaining is only wasted time you could have been using to practice! (For those who are requesting a refund, would you buy a car without a test drive or or atleast watch videos of others test drives etc? Be a smart consumer, it will benefit you GREATLY! ✌🏻)

Very impressive.. Feral managed to port the full GRID experience, with a much improved UI, to a phone—pretty darn cool. The tilt controls work surprisingly well, the “force feedback” on bumpy roads is a nice touch, and the graphics are stellar. Two criticisms—these games always use the external view as the default, which I think is a mistake. I went from terrible to pretty good, just by switching to the bumper view. You can’t get any sense of your speed with the camera hanging high above your car. Frame rate is an issue. I’m using an iPhone X, and things start out fine — right around 30 FPS. About 3-5 minutes into gameplay though, that frame rate takes a nosedive — down to a nearly unplayable 15fps. I suspect there’s some thermal throttling or something going on, but it’s enough that it hurts my driving performance. Please tweak the game, even turn down the graphical bells and whistles if need be, to get steady performance.

Needs some optimization. Game looks good and I enjoy playing it with a controller, but I’m having issues with the game slowing down anytime I’m around several cars or taking turns at a high rate of speed. I’ve been playing it in my truck with the AC blowing cold air on my phone so it’s nice and cool, but it still runs slow. Maybe the game could be a better optimized for each device or the graphics can be turned down a bit by the user with a future update. I’m playing it on a 7 and I’ve got over 100 GB of free storage. Anytime that I pause the game to send a quick iMessage, or leave the app, it needs to boot up the game again when I go back. I was wondering if there are settings that we can change while playing to help with this. I love that it’s a one time purchase and look forward to future improvements. I bought it soon after it was released because I feel users should really support this type of game vs those that nickel and dime you.

Great racing game. This ios remake is amazing and on point, but there is still things to be desired, especially for us the hardcore racing gamers: Better details in the cockpit- I play racing games only in the cockpit view and here it looks worst than gameboy advance port with 3 polygons for the wheel and textures as for a playstation 1 game. What makes a racing game good for me is the details inside the car while I race. I will have to compare it to Project cars and Real racing. They have a taste for the this things and made them perfect. The pc equivalent of Grid suffers the same bad details inside the cockpit, please fix this mistake. The controls are weird, I have to admit they are doing their job, probably better with a controller, but for tilt- something is very off. Too much gyro tilting and less steering while doing so is confusing me. I don’t want to compare again Grid to Real Racing, but just check how they managed to make it enjoyable. I know these two are different cup of cakes but still even tweaking the advanced settings don’t make it better for me. That is all I am having trouble with, other than that Wow you did amazing!

Amazing game!. I was looking to scratch an itch for something like forza to play on my ipad while sitting in bed, and this game is the solution. I play with my ipad held up by some cheap flexible mount and an xbox controller and let me tell you what, it is pretty dang close to console quality. I’ve only played career mode so far and it has a slight mobile zing to it. The racing itself is incredible, but I wish there was a little more diversity to the cars. It feels like I’m using the same cars over and over, regardless of what sponsor I pick. I really wish you could purchase your own for each type of race, and upgrade as you go. With all that said, for a $10 game it’s 5 out of 5 stars without a doubt.

Best racing game on iOS. I had $12 left so I decided to buy this. I I saw it was 3.9gb and I was like “wow that’s crazy” I bought it and I’ve been playing it for a bit. First of the graphics are insane. I was blown away. Something I noticed too is that when you hit a cone, drift, and go off road it make you’re phone rumble and I absolutely love that. I can’t think of any other racing game that is this good. Is near perfect. My only problem is that all drivers are ghosts. That’s the only thing think I don’t like about this game. Best app in the store. I’d say it’s even better than Asphalt 9 Legends. I highly recommending buying this. You won’t be disappointed.

Good game, entertaining physics. The preset controls for this game are absolute garbage. Feels like the car is driving itself, but once you do some adjusting of the acceleration and saturation of the accelerometer and put the driving mode on at least simulator pro it gets a lot better. There are a lot of well known tracks though less so with the cars, not as many cool cars but some unique ones and they cars all feel different which is really important. This game honestly feels very much like project cars 2. The cars tend to slide a lot on the asphalt but it’s not terrible and for the platform it’s on, the physics are actually great. Overall worth the money, just like real racing 3 back in its day, this game does the impossible and makes a smartphone game look almost like a console game, while still having good physics and a rewind feature.

Man.. What a great game. Ya know I just bought this game a few months ago and I’m pretty impressed. This is the first time I’ve seen game almost competing up to Forza motorsport. I mean, yes, people are saying that the steering seems a bit off and I had that problem turned a setting on and it was pretty normal from there. I like how there going for a more “Simulation style than other racing games” and I really like that. It brings out the heart of racing. I mean there’s a few bugs here and there but you gotta expect that it’s a game there’s always gonna be bugs. Overall it’s a great game and if you looking to buy then you should it will impress you if your looking for a good racing game that’s console quality. But if your looking for something easier then you should look for something else thank you for reading and have fun racing!

Pls fix - save file corrupted. This is awesome racing game and been playing for last few weeks and everything was great till the new update corrupted my save file and can’t continue. I have iPad Pro 2 12.9 which the file is corrupted, but for some reason it still works on my iPhone X. Pls fix ASAP! Thx Edited: this really bites as I tried to follow your instructions to email help from the game. So I tried to get passed the saved file to get to the main menu, but had to start a new game to send the email. Now my iPhone X saved game file is also corrupted and lost all my progress and have to start from the beginning!?!? I love this game but to have to start from the beginning and spend another 20 hours to get back to the same location really s*cks! Sorry but I’m not going to play this game till it’s fixed otherwise it might happen again.

PAIR A PS4 or XB1 controller first! THIS IS THE BEST AND GREATEST - BAR NONE. I will preface this review by saying controls for this game outside of a paired physical controller are useless. SO PAIR ONE FIRST BEFORE PLAYING! I don’t ever write reviews but what codemasters have done here is really something what a car enthusiast and driving enthusiast would appreciate in a mobile driving game. Variety of control options and the use of force touch is nice for throttle and brake control. Now this game has NO MICROTRANACTIONS and includes free dlc bonus cups and hd texture packs free! Now the real treat of this game is THE CARS! Every type of variety from so many different eras. E30, Mclaren F1, 1 Series M Coupe, RX-7, DC2 Type R, NSX R , a friggin HONDA HSV-010 GT CAR, it’s really ridiculous the awesome selection of cars and the crazy thing is you can try them all out from the start as they are all unlocked and ready for you to try in time trial and custom cup modes. I haven’t dived too deep into the career mode but judging from the small bit that I have played it feels like it is going to be long and very detailed one that would get anyone new to racing games build to a good understanding of the sport. Get this game, just pure awesome!

Best tilt-racer I’ve played. Thank you to Codemasters & Feral. This game has given me so many hours of enjoyment and I’m still having a blast. I’d have paid quite a bit more than I was required to. Like the good ole days, you simply pay a fair price and then enjoy the game...... no IAPs. The endless driving controls and difficulty options allow you to test yourself to greater degrees as your skill improves — which helps to make for an extremely immersive experience. I play on an iPad, using tilt steering and the “flick” method for changing gears in manual transmission. Only improvement I’d hope to see: Those of us that play on devices that aren’t touch-sensitive are at a significant disadvantage — we can only floor the throttle and slam on the brakes. I’d really appreciate a new optional system that allows us some level of control over how hard we push the pedals. Thanks again for a great game. P.S. Your new F1 free-to-play game is an abomination and (in my eyes) a complete waste of the license. A paid F1 game with this game’s physics, mechanics, graphics, options, etc...... would be great. Much of the infrastructure you’d need already exists, so maybe this would be a profitable project?

controls are frustrating. Tilt control has always been a part of mobile racing games which is surprising to me because it’s a concept that doesn’t work well. So I was hoping that the arrow controls could fix that and help me enjoy the game. However the arrow controls are a mess. The game won’t let you accalorate by yourself, and braking is very frustrating as you have to reach for the middle of the screen which could really send you into the grass on tight turns. The fact that the game doesn’t even give you the option to change the layout of the arrows and maybe also add an acceleration button is beyond me on a $10 racing game. Other than that the game is alright but I would still have to give it 2 stars because controlling the car is about 80% of a racing game. I really hope to see the re arranging option in an upcoming update. Edit: what a joke of a developer response. The fact that they try to put a bandaid over this joke of an overpriced game by writing “thank you for your purchase” like they have done on so many other 2 and 1 star reviews makes it feel like they are laughing behind their screens and tells me that there will not be any promising updates in the future.

Best mobile racer, but missing key elements. GRID is very good for sure. Excellent tilt controls and fairly realistic responses from the cars. Cars look great from the outside. Tracks and races are plentiful and fun. The various race disciplines fit whatever mood I may be in, and the pacing is just right. But! The car interior models are sad at best. Very low quality interiors and this spoils any sense of an immersive experience. This is a straight up racer where you are just a driver. No car buying or collecting, no painting, or customizations. You are just borrowing the cars for the race, and you do not choose your vehicle for the race series you sign up for. I suppose those classic premier racing game features being missing for mobile can be forgivable as the attention to physics and an overall enjoyable racing experience is excellent....again, for a mobile racer. GRID ain’t Forza and it’s not trying to be, but a lot of the fun with these types of AAA racers is buying your cars, and racing from a realistic cockpit perspective. Both are absent in GRID. Still, this is a much better alternative to the absurdly expensive and shamelessly price gouging Real Racing 3.

Frustrating Controls. Graphics, interface, and progression are all fine. But the only way the user interacts with the game—the controls—make no sense and each have a fatal flaw. I hope the developers can add another controls complaint to their list and please fix or add another option. The driving controls for any Grand Theft Auto on iOS would be great. Left thumb for arrow steering, right thumb for braking and acceleration. The current combination of auto acceleration, incredibly jerky invisible steering wheel steering, and a braking system that requires you to obscure the middle of your screen makes for a very frustrating experience. A shame when we can tell a lot of work went into this game.

Amazing potential. I wanted to enjoy this game so bad. I’ve played around 5-6 hours and I simply cannot seem to get enjoyment out of this game due to underwhelming controls. I am an avid racing sim fan and have spent countless days playing Gran Turismo and Forza so I eagerly purchased this sim hoping to achieve a similar quality of gameplay and graphics and while this game looks stunning, the lack of an intuitive control scheme makes controlling these cars an absolute chore. I tried all options and found the virtual wheel to be best, but still frustratingly difficult. The lower difficulties are easy to win because your opponents turn into snails, but as soon as you increase the difficulty to get a challenge you will see just how unfair the AI will make you feel. Cars are very aggressive and with no proper control scheme it makes these races more frustrating than fun. Unless you have a 3rd party physical controller to play with this game will take you on a very steep learning curve

Okay this game is so dry but it’s definitely far from bad. This game is amazing with some of the most realistic physics for drifting. Even more realistic than forza (yes it is cars don’t move like they do in forza I drive a real car every single day) but the customization and vehicle selection compared to forza is absolutely horrendous. The most disgusting customization options it’s like upgrades aren’t even fun bc it’s just click and boom the car is the fastest it can go. I’d love to play this more but the only thing fun tbh is drifting for fun. More cars and actual UPGRADES and at least a few parts for your car. That would make me play this more than any other iPhone game I have no idea why you guys haven’t done that in the years this game has been out. Great game now add the final step so I can have my friends download the game too lol I won’t if it’s this dry bc that’s embarrassing on my part. Help me help you.

New update creates more problems than it solves.. I have knocked this game from five stars down to three. Here is why. This is the first time I have been right in the middle of a race, and the game kicked me out. So I lost all progress in that race. Maybe the problem is with the latest IOS update. Also you never addressed my question concerning when you give your partner instructions, wether they follow them or not. There is no longer any audio confirmation. You guys very rarely fix the problems we complain about. You need to update your game a little more often. If you fix these problems it will go back up to 5 stars.

Great, but could be better. My biggest complaint is the nearly 6 gigabytes this game takes up with the dlc’s, yet it still takes an eternity to load into a race. What is all of the 6gb doing if it isn’t already loaded? There is not nearly that much content in the game for it to be using that much storage. The graphics are ok, but, again, not 6 gigabytes good. All of the cars always sound like you’re riding up against a wall with the reverb sound, besides they sound pretty bad to begin with. Surprisingly though, the R35 sounds pretty accurate. I’ve noticed that it’s hard to make minuscule movements when steering and often my car is stuck in its own racing line at certain parts of the track. Just a few tweaks to the handling would be nice. As far as content, I’d love to see some LMP cars, (Porsche 919, etc.), and some LMGTE cars such as my favorite modern race car, the 2016 Ford GT LMGTE PRO. Obviously I’d love Le Mans Circuit, Nüburgring Nordschleife, but it seems as if the content additions are done, especially since the game is entirely free after initial purchase. Overall, great game, console quality is a bit of an ambitious statement, unless you’re comparing to PlayStation 3, but still the best racing simulator for mobile.

Amazing once customized. This is definitely the best racing game on iOS. However, it takes a little bit of customization and tweaking the settings to get the game to run how you want it. There is TONS of customization when it comes to the controls and difficulty settings and you’ll have to spend some time trying out different setting combos to get the best control and feel for me. Once you get everything dialed though this game is great and a pleasure to play. Definitely worth the $10. Also you get tons of free DLC and every mode and car is accessible from the start so you can play how you want right away.

Shut up and take my money. Not only is this the best racing game on the App Store. It’s hands down the best game period. Loved it on the ps3, now it’s on my phone to play anytime. I’d never spend $15 on a mobile game but this was a no brainer. Of course they’ve had to scale down the graphics a little bit but what do you expect. It still looks amazing nonetheless. The complete game with all the dlc, unbelievable. Perfect and just what I’ve been waiting for. I hope there are updates in the future including custom button layouts, resizing buttons ect. Good game but expensive and hard to Control. This game is exactly what it suggests, I accidentally bought this game and after Apple wont give me a refund I’m kind of stuck with it. But anyways the graphics are the best I ever seen on mobile and it has super realistic sounds however it is super hard for me to control the car i don’t think this is the games fault but I feel like they could add a more in-depth tutorial/guide for new players. Other then that though this game is good, would give it a 9/10.

Heyo. I saw a review that suggested free drive. I think that is a great idea and that it would help people get better at racing. I am currently installing the game so I have yet to experience it in its entirety but based off comments I’ve read it seems to be a very good game. Hope to see a bright future for this and please bring in free drive It’d be so useful for people like me who can’t even play RR3 with the assist off 😂. But thank you. Best of luck to you guys too

Its about time for an upgrade. This game’s great, trust me, been playing it for years, first on a measly little iPhone 6s. The graphics quality option had a 30fps cap, which was very fair as st the time performance wasnt capable of reaching a stable 60. Now comes the modern age, we’ve got phones with enough power as to be able to play AAA PC games in the palms of our hands. Point is, LIFT THAT LACK-LUSTER 30 FPS CAP FROM THE GRAPHICS QUALITY OPTION. Nearly everyone has got phones nowadays with 120, sometimes even higher refresh rate screens and even more powerful GPU’s. On newer iPhone models, such as the 13 with the blistering fast A15 bionic the cap DESERVES to be uplifted to 60, if not more.

Brilliant. I’m new to any kind of racing on an iPad and a real novice but this game I can’t stop playing. The huge choice of tracks, cars, disciplines is remarkable. Every car handles different, every track has its challenges, the sound and look of each individual car is perfect even down to a different sound from inside the car and the track noise is spot on as are the controls. Yes, its not easy to drive but after fine tuning its wholly manageable, it wouldn’t be a challenge if it was easy right? Not a complaint but I haven’t come across a Porsche 911 yet, that would be great, drove some of the hyper cars yesterday and they are insane. Money well spent, Thanks.

Best racing game for iOS ever!!!. Grid is literally a ported Xbox/console game into an iOS platform. This game is Meant for hardcore racing fans as it’s tricky to drive because it’s so realistic. The only thing missing is rally. Rally mode would be so great and it’s sad they had not added it into the game as it would be such a great event. I do wish also that Lamborghini would be added as the Lamborghini touring cars are awesome as. Keep up the good work. Oh and drift has no hand brake which makes it so hard to drift and making campaign hard for the modded cars. Overall it’s an amazing game and even though expensive it’s worth your money.

Delayed controls and feels like Heavy to control. I’m using iPhone SE / iPad 9.7 inch and i felt the delayed of sliding left/right control and feels like heavy to control. Hope this will be on the new update. I really like this game than the RR3. Tired of racing with the Cheaters! No possible to get a highest point to the RR3. And no possible to get upgrades with their small amount of gold and cash. Only cheaters can. No point to race. Here in GRID™️, no time, no limits. No waiting.. and nothing to pay. I will wait for the next update. Also 1 thing, i tried to download the rest of the game says “not enough storage”. But i still have 9GB. Can you please fix this one as well. Thanks. 👍🏼

I’ve played this game for years on PC and the transition to mobile is flawless! Forget EA’s Freemium Real Racing nightmare. Best Racing Game on iOS. Grid is the best racing game you can get on iOS BY FAR & is worth every penny. Runs fantastic on iPhones & even better on the 2018 iPad Pros. A note to developers, not a complaint but it would be greater if the game could by updated to support 2018 iPad Pro screen resolutions. Otherwise, I have been blown away with what a fantastic port this is. Keep up the great work!!! Now PLEASE release dirt rally series as well!! I’d buy in a heartbeat!!

The is impreesive!. To start off ive just got to say I loved this game! I was going to give it 4 stars but then I tried career mode... It was so good! It was as good or even better than Project Cars 2 and Dirt 4 its simply faboulous . Its so realistic there’s the best cars and just an amazing driving experience But there’s two things that need to be fixed: The fuzzy interior and The main menu is too complicated. But from me: highly recomended

iPhone 8 framerate and cut audio. Amazing game, really good car physics, exact same gameplay as on consoles. I have had some issues on my iphone 8 with some inconsistent framerate and audio cutting. I would love for the game to be more optimized, so that it could run at least at a fully stable 30fps. Also, ive had issues with sudden audio cracks then suddenly all sound from my iphone is gone. to fix this I have to reboot/restart my phone. i hooe these issues get fixed in later updates

Steelseries Nimbus support?. Absolutely love this game, but I was hoping that I could truly get into playing it with a gamepad (specifically, the Steelseries Nimbus). Sadly, it’s not supported 😭. Would absolutely love if you guys could add support for it.

The best. This game, is the full complete Xbox/PlayStation title from 2014. All additional content is free and included in the $15. It’s challenging and rewarding. You certainly want a recent phone to take best advantage of the graphics and performance. Also, due to the incredible graphics, it will drain your battery - but it’s well worth it! :) If you’re into racing simulation games, there is nothing better on iOS. If you hate micro transactions, timers, in app purchases etc - there is NONE of that in this game. Great game overall. Graphics are amazing until one looks inside the car. please improve the cabin quality (with rpm and speed dials that work pls). I am convinced that modern devices are capable of so much more. I would like to see more customisable graphics settings as you state that this is console quality and console games have graphics settings. I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max 64Gb and i cant get the manual mode to work with the nudge. I have resorted to the on-screen buttons. Please help me fix this issue. If you were to add one feature my top pick would be clutch physics (with the ability to stall). Please add this I beg you, I’m a programmer myself and I know it shouldn't be that hard. PLEASE I love a challenge. Cannot wait to try this out on an iPad with a controller. Also VERRY important, now that iPads come with keyboards could you please implement keyboard controls. Awesome game, worth the money. Great graphics, great game. Please put a rally and rally cross mode. As well as the V8 Supercars championship. That would make the game even better. Unplayable on iPhone 11 Pro Max. Unplayable on iPhone 11 Pro Max keeps crashing every time also makes iPhone behave strange after playing grid even when apps in background iPhone 11 Pro Max behaves strangely keeps freezing.. I would highly recommend not installing this game

I can’t stop playing.. Really awesome to have a great racing game that isn’t just an achievements game based on racing or an arcade style. I’ve owned all the Real Racing games and been a RR3 fan from the start but now it’s less about racing and more about ticking off goals to progress through it. Wow! To be able to practice, adjust my car, qualify and race is unbelievable. I only have one request. Could you please add an option to invert the flick up/down gear change method. Flicking down feels more like the natural feeling of pulling back on a sequential shifter to change up a gear and flicking up the opposite. I can’t get used of it the way it is. Everything else is awesome.

Rookie settings still too difficult for me. I simply can’t drive the car. Steering too difficult and acceleration seems to be stuck on full whenever I touch it. I can’t believe racing cars would be this difficult to drive. I hate this app because it makes me feel worthless when ever I try using it. Money down the drain.

Best iOS racing game. I just wish you could improve that sorry excuse for a driver camera, i understand that you might have been going for a faded look because the driver is looking at the road, but my eyes do that by themselves. Anyone who complains about bad controls is just being a noob. Steering wheel works fine for me after I tweaked it a bit in settings. Works fine on iPad Air 2

Amazing Game!!!. Hey devs, I just bought this game today, and I must say, it was the best $15 I’ve ever spent! I’ve been playing non stop, the graphics are great, physics are great, everything is great! But the only tiny thing that I would like to be worked on is the cockpit views, the don’t look very realistic. So if you could, please work on that, because I love racing in cockpit view. But other than that one thing, THIS GAME IS AMAZING!!!

Excellent game. Top quality game and graphics without being hounded for money to progress, will gladly pay $15 for games of this calibre and no freemium BS. Only minor thing is the steering, turning a wheel in a circle doesn’t feel as natural as sliding left to right as per most other racing games. Can get used to it but would prefer to see this addressed in an update. Had no performance issues at all on iPad Pro 10.5 Hope to see more games of this standard on App Store.

Waste of money!. Having read lots of positive reviews I bought this as I wanted something more than just another arcade racing game. Trying to control cars is near on impossible, as the steering inputs are hard to predict. the AI cars are constantly driving into you trying to push you off the track Whenever you drive on a piece of track which is bumpy, the movement on the screen is very jittery, and ended up giving me a headache IF I HADN’T PAID FOR THIS GAME, I WOULD SIMPLY DELETE IT AND PLAY SOMETHING ELSE INSTEAD! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME! UPDATE - I received an email from the developer giving me some tips on how to set up the steering which in fairness did help.

Now that’s how it’s done. Game is a cut above anything on the App Store..it’s literally a bench mark for the other so called big developers..a perfect fit for my gamevice controller as well...congrats Feral u have done it perfectly 🙌🙌

Great game. Lovely game to have on the IOS platform. It doesn’t work on my iPad Air 2 but works great on my iPhone 8 but I’m guessing my iPad doesn’t have the power? Perhaps you could make a basic version for the iPad Air as I’m sure many customers would have these devices.

Epic and undrivable Lag. On an iPad Pro the game is undrivable. Steering inputs seem to lag up to one second behind so even driving down a straight is impossible. I weave down all straight making corrections to my previous correction, cannot stay anywhere near the racing line in corners and after a couple of races have yet to hit an apex successfully. Graphics are nice but being able to drive would be nicer. Unless this is fixed soon I will be seeking a refund as I cannot play this game.

Awesome port. Really well done port of GRID:Autosport for my phone, handles perfectly! I do ask for one improvement though, and that is to please let us use our own music! It’s weird that whenever I try to force my music to play, the game audio cuts out. Otherwise, this is an awesome sim to spend hours upon!

Best racing game. Thank you for updating the game to support the newer devices! For beginners, I highly recommend using the wheel touch controls and turning on the various driving assists. Also turn off 3D Touch to avoid any wrist fatigue when accelerating. Btw, can you please change the name of the app icon so that it isn’t truncated? Atm it’s called “GRID^tm Auto...”. Would be nice if you could shorten it to “GRID: AS” or just “GRID”.

Amazing but why the lag?. Everything about this game is amazing. I used to have it on PC when i was younger and couldnt stop playing it. Nothings changed. When i saw it was available i had to have it on my new iphone x. HOWEVER. Despite how epic this game is im experiencing some massive stutter moments and im not sure why? I have nothing else running in the background and even switched it to energy saver mode in game. Still not fixing. Other than that. Love it.

Impossible to drive. I’m well versed in the original version of this game and played a lot of racing games on iOS such as real racing. This fame is impossible to control, I could not get past the first stage after several attempts and adjustments to the control settings. Runs and looks great but it basically unplayable. Like a refund now thanks!

Good But.... Rippa game, finally great to see a non pay to win game and also a game where you can do any level with any car! Good customisation for the individual racer and pretty realistic. It is basically from the console apart from 1 thing. Graphics the graphics are ok, unless I have a setting wrong but it’s set to optimised for Better graphics on my 8 Plus but RR3 has better graphics, especially in the interior - it’s shocking in here. Apart from that it’s fun to play but I wish the graphics can be turned up a notch!

Best racing simulator. Having played RR3 and got tired of the freemium model and constant parts upgrades to a car to progress through the races, it is very refreshing to see a game that lets you play as much as you want, customise the difficulty as much as you need to progress through the levels. While yes it is a large initial cost, it is worth the money. Be warned this game is “no” arcade game. But if you want an “as close to real world” feel of a race car, this is it. The thrill of passing several cars through tight corners or fast straight has never been this exciting. Never once you feel like going through the motions of racing. You need to concentrate to finish the top of the pack.

Best Mobile Racing Game out there. Having played the asphalt series, real racing series and even Gear Club I can say Grid Autosport is absolutely the best one out there. No micro transactions at all and the game is incredibly similar if not the same as the console versions and it’s less than half the price. Amazing game would highly recommend to anyone Rip Real Racing 3 you will not be missed 😂

Great game but how do I customise the control. Great game, excellent graphics and huge fun. But I really wanna customise the arrow control which is the turning arrow is on the right and break is left. Otherwise it is impossible to turn the vehicle while drifting or reversing. Hopefully there is an update for customise the control panel on the screen rather than go to the app settings.

Great graphics, with great battery drain. An awesome race game with the best graphic that I see so far on iOS. Also have to command the development does not also the god awful money grabbing in app purchase ruin the gaming experience. The Taptic feedbacks from the crashes are on point. There are many things that I love about this game, it’s just too bad the battery drain is certainly not one of them. Otherwise grip is still an excellent game!

Best racing game on the App Store. When I first got this game, I was a little disappointed because the controls were so weird. Very sensitive steering, and the gyro tilt was disorienting. But after turning that off in Settings, the game really shines. Plus, the graphics are absolutely amazing, and there are so many cars and tracks to race with. Very happy with it now!

Unplayable. Three days now fiddling with gyro and tilt controls and not one car will stay in a straight line. It's like driving on ice. How the hell do you get these cars to act like cars instead of sliding from left barrier to right as they skid uncontrollably? Even open wheel cars skid around corners at 40mph!! There is no sense of speed, since you can't take a gentle bend at moderate speed without skidding off the road. It's impossible to even drive in a straight line no matter how still I hold the iPad. How is this a simulation? If my real car drifted all over the road while going straight, I'd be dead. This is the worst purchase I have ever made.

Buy a controller. It’s an amazing game but I feel it’s almost un playable on a phone screen button/tilt lay out... use a controller ✌️

Nice, but could be better. The let down if this game is the in-cabin graphics of the cars, this is where RR3 excels. Since the update, cars float above the track. And why do the cars have no drivers?

Progress resets every time I load the game. It’s a really great game but I’m encountering an issue where the game resets itself every time I close and open the app. I’m playing it on the iPad Pro with a PS4 controller. Not sure if this issue happens anywhere else.

Amazing game. Easily my favourite game and well worth the money, GRID offers countless hours of fun with so much content. Furthermore, once you finish you can download even more maps and seasons. However, although I love this game and will continue to play no matter the answer, I was wondering whether there will be more updates to the game - nothing massive but just things like rain or changing conditions. Hard to control cars? I LIKE IT!!!. One of the most epicest gaming experiences you will have it has great graphics and visuals. Cars are hard to control which because well it’s a sim racing game DUHHH! Last thing is the “pay once” like PAY ONCE consumers love it. Over all I love the game it’s worth the buck.

Incomplete. The game seems like it’s unfinished, it’s nothing like advertised waste of money, I was expecting it to be better than real racing 3, but it’s not, it’s poor and you asking for way too much for this game.

The expert mode is too difficult. I noticed that the professional mode is too easy and the expert mode is too difficult, given that it’s not easy to play a game like this on a smartphone. Therefore, it would make more sense if the expert mode was a bit easier in order to have something in between.

Has potential. The game has some good potential to it, I just wish they would push out some updates a bit quicker for the more powerful devices. The 13 pro series with the A15 should easily be able to run the ultra performance mode. The M1 iPads could definitely take advantage of a graphics boost in the high performance modes.

Game is amazing - no arrow touch controls on ipad. Game is amazing as expected but lack of arraw touch controls on ipad makes it really annoying to control the car. Please add this asap. Iphone version has it so put it in the ipad version

Worth every penny!. Hard to believe I missed this game when it first came out. Fantastically well balanced game, love how sharp the graphics are on my iPhone Xr. It has force feedback, and none of that ridiculous in-app foolishness to progress. Glad I picked this up, I’m pretty sure you will be too! Now, where do I sign up for the online beta?

Best racing game on iOS Oahu. The controls are so bad u just keep drifting all over the place

Its good but…. This game is quite amazing, but incredibly difficult. Steering is a pain. If you steer even slightly too much BOOM you start drifting and spin out. Heck drifting feels impossible in this game. I played for a couple hours after apple denied my refund request, and could not get a hold of drifting. All I want is a refund as this game is clearly not for me. I can’t even play and every race I end up last because of the bad controls. Mobile controls are way to difficult in this game and it is only ever beneficial when you use a controller, even then I can’t say I recommend this game unless you are a HARDCORE sim racing fan. I just can’t play this game I always mess up the turns because of the difficulty level even when it’s all the way low and apple refuses to refund. I’m seeing other reviews that are calling this game trash because the car slows down, but that is incredibly unfair to the game as it is obviously gonna do that, unless you want to spin out at every turn tryna go 150 kmh. Feral overall you did a splendid job with this game but for me personally I want a refund as it is not for me.

One Device at a time - no icloud sync.. Great game overall but i can only play on one device. Works fine on the iPhone but to continue where i left off on the iPad it doesn't progress past the sync icloud profiles option. Tapping on the sync option does nothing and it doenst go past the option.

Can’t save my progress. I have been playing this in my iPad Pro for a few days so far. I couldn’t save my progress at all. After close the app, or restart my iPad, I have to start from the very beginning. Anyone experience the same issue?

Where to begin... ?. This game is FABULOUS. If you're interested in racing games... even if just a bit... BUY THIS. I have been playing games on iOS for 7 years now and this is by far the best port i've seen on the platform, Feral, you guys NAILED it ! I wont leave a detailed review about the game since theres already a whole bunch out there. But it is one of the best racing games ever made IMO. (Not the best, but one of the) and its by FAR the best racing game on mobile.

Everything it claims to be. Yes, this is the real deal. Console-quality racing! The graphics are great, the feel of racing is superb (I realized I was feathering the accelerator coming out of a curve... on my PHONE)... loads of variety with different disciplines. Pay once, no subscriptions, no in app purchases (well, there are... but they're free! It's just to split up the big download). This is not a one-finger tapping game, this is a genuine racing game. Use a XBox controller (or touch/tilt controls if you need to) and dive in to a fantastic game on the go!

Best racing game on the App Store. This game is a console game ported to iOS and iPadOS. It is simply the best racing game in the entire App Store. It has controller support and rumble support. You will enjoy it more with a physical controller, as is the case for many console games ported to iPhone and iPad. I can’t recommend this game enough. The bad reviews are quite misleading.

The Premium iOS Title We’ve All Being Waiting For. A quality premium game on iOS is pretty much impossible to find, the amount of games that fits this category could probably be counted with the fingers of a single hand. Needless to say this is an absolutely fantastic game, mobile desperately needs to have more premium games like this.

Terrible steering,. I Paired my Playstation controller to play this game hoping I would be able to steer properly, nope, No matter how I configured the controller it's still terrible, How hard can it be to get simple steering physics correct ?! So I just uninstalled it and said goodbye to my money. May try it again if I hear reports of the steering being fixed. Also Drag mode really sucks and it's Half mile only.

Where did the crowd in the stands go?. This is the best iOS racing game I’ve been bought, and I absolutely love it! However, after downloading the latest update I realized that there were no more spectators alongside the track! Is that because of COVID-19? The races just feel a tad empty without people to cheer on us! That’s the only reason why I’m not rating the game 5 stars. Before the update it easily would have gotten 5 stars from me. If that could be fixed I’d appreciate that. Other than that, FANTASTIC game. You really outdid yourselves. Keep the games coming.

Grid Auto Sport. This is terrible. I really just wasted 13.99 for a game that does not work. The free games like real racing 3 and need for speed most wanted are way better. Seems you need an iPad Pro because my iPad 2018 seems to not keep up. I want my money back, this makes me not want to spend in the App Store for games again. Update, this works well with a M1 iPad, however this game is very repetitive they put no effort in. Season after season looks the same. Exciting at first until you finish a couple seasons to realize it’s all the same.

NASCAR please. Could you eventually add NASCAR it would be awesome if you could and maybe online multiplayer too. And could you maybe make it so you can actually own cars and customize them or something like that at some point that would be pretty cool. anyways best racing game ever played love it everything is absolutely outstanding the graphics the physics everything it’s the most realistic racing game I’ve ever played thank you for making it it’s worth the money you pay.

Huge feature missing- still 5 stars though. Cockpit view has no detail whatsoever, this is something you expect when paying premium prices. Aside from that, it’s definitely the best racing simulator out there and the fact that you can access all the cars right away is nice. One last gripe… It would be nice to be able to just pick any track pick any car and pick any race style very easily in a ‘free race’ style option.

BEST RACING GAME. This racing game is honestly the best out there. It doesn’t let you win automatically, like ashphalt 9 or other games. The price was a bit up their but once I got it it was so worth it. Their is also a lot of modes for racing too, 27 tracks that are all real y good, and you can change routes on the tracks to change it up. Great game overall!

Expensive but worth it. I have been a big fan since the longest time of need for speed most wanted on iOS and was looking for a game with a similar feel. This is kind of different with more emphasis put on the actual racing details and less on the overall style of the game but blows away NFS on every technical aspect of the game! As said in my title, I would qualify the game as expensive but worth the price :)

Not a good fit for mobile. I’ll admit the game looks nice, and with a controller can play nice too. Just not the best game for mobile controls, add the sim like realism and it becomes a chore to slog through. Little lags on an iPhone 12 and occasional missed input on touch steering wheel makes me go boof into a wall. If I have a controller on hand then I’m at home and 10/10 times I’ll choose console or PC over a mobile game with finicky controls.

Game not Saving. I loved this game a lot until the time I bought a Sony controller to use it with my iPhone 11 Pro. The game is not able to save and it’s really frustrating. I have reached out to the developers and haven’t got this fixed yet.

Buggy/broken/crashing. This game crashes at least every 45min. It’s frustrating to restart races or seasons due to this. Currently using iPhone 12. This game isn’t worth the money.

Multiplayer. This game should have multiplayer, it would be much more fun then playing single player. And you can actually make comtact with other online players. Add multiplayer and it would make my day.

One word AWESOME. First if all thank you developers for creating such a beautiful piece of code that not only provide premium feeling but also can be compared side by side to console racing games. Everything from a welcoming voice when entering the carrier to the in game feedbacks from that taptic engine The amount of detail is absolutely stunning. However I have one small issue. I don’t know if that is a inbuilt feature or a bug but whenever I do the setting in between a race for the TEAM ORDERS to very aggressive and the TEAM RADIO to all, it’s keep resetting itself to NORMAL and to NONE respectively after a few seconds. Even if I go to another race then again I have to do desired settings again and again. My opinions that option is really cool but to have a bug in it that makes those settings unusable at all. If the developers can really help me to fix this problem I will be grateful.

It’s keeps crashing. This is the first app I actually paid money to play. I was super excited as I loved playing grid 2 on the console. But also I was blown away by the racing the ai give you, as well as the tracks, cars, and options of what kind of race you want. But I’m having a problem where I’m in the middle of a race and the game keeps crashing. I don’t know if it’s because I have an iPhone 8+, but I do have the latest IOS update. Can you please look into this.

What you need to be perfect!. Guys, I gave you 5 stars, excellent physics, great soundtrack, details, amazing job taking it to the next level using manual gear but there are 2 stuff that its a headache on the game. 1 cockpit view, pleaseee! work on that at least on textures, I always play on this view and its just awful. 2 cuztomitation, try to make a little bit more fun, talking about, ailerons, vinilos, u know I don’t mind if I have to download 10 GB. Please take advantage of the power you have with such a great game and make it the best one ever for racing games on mobile. Please make it perfect.

iPhone X - Perfect 👌🏼. I don’t know what all the fuss is about frame rate. I’ve played for a few hours now on an iPhone X, I get perfectly smooth gameplay all the time. Developers nailed it. A pay once style masterpiece. Better than RR3, no doubt. I do like the steering in RR3 more, seems crisper. Graphics are off the chart for a mobile. Sounds are beautiful, finally a racing game with more authentic engine rev. The force touch is stunning, wow, you guys nailed it. Love all the control settings. Drifting is insanely challenging.. no tutorial? Get it 🤙🏼, play it 👍🏼, love it ✌🏼

Best racing game for mobile!. I have played many mobile racing games throughout the years (e.g. the Asphalt Series, the Real Racing Series, etc.), but not a single one has matched the pure genius of this game. When playing Grid Autosport, you can begin to imagine what I am talking about. Each turn, wall, and tree is extraordinary in its detail and design. This game deserves an award. Keep up the great work! (One thing I would recommend they add though is an ability to disable haptic feedback. For it was cool the first few times I played the game, but over time I grew worried that it may break the haptic engine in my phone.)

Not playable. The game does feel nice. The driving is realistic and the graphics are good, etc. Unfortunately, I was unable to load up any career races whatsoever just minutes into installing the app. It would consistently crash each time I tried to start the race. I have an IPhone 12 Pro Max which is odd considering this is a newer phone for this to be happening on. If this was not an issue, this would easily be one of the best racing apps on the market. For now, it is deleted until I feel like trying to install it and try again. Any app that charges over 5 dollars for its purchase should not have any technical issues as catastrophic as this.

Pretty game but overall disappointing. I really like the original GRID game so I figure this one would be just as good. Unfortunately this GRID Autosport is rather disappointing. Unlike the original this version takes away a lot of the great things that I enjoyed. The career is very arcade-like and the driving is nothing to write home about. The drifting is nothing like the original as it’s basically the same mechanic as grinding rails in a skateboarding games but through an entire track; fighting the car to go the way you want to. The game has nice graphics but unfortunately that’s the only redeeming aspect of this game.

It’s ok. I was just looking for a game that would actually change my thoughts than the same old car games on the App Store for the past year. This game did a good job of that, something new. But my main concern... the controls. You spend 10$ on a game and the controls are awful. I’m used to touching the sides of the screens, but not a really small button that if you miss it, you won’t hit it. Also, the steering is so messed up. This game needs a little more work till it’s playable. But great graphics and I’m really hoping for an online multiplayer.

So glad I pulled the trigger and got this.... A sim, but with so many control and difficulty tweaks/options, you can really customize it to feel as you’d like. And MAN is it pretty. Playing on the XS Max, and especially after they put out their latest patch which upgraded the textures/visuals/lighting/effects, it really shines. I loved the old Real Racing 2 (before pay to play/win set in) and this scratches that itch but with more tracks, cars and way better visuals. Drives great. I’m loving it; definitely worth the purchase price.

Amazing game. Just as the previous franchises editions this is a fantastic game. You get used to the controls easily and the graphics are superb. On the downside is the battery which is drained from a fully charged iPhone 7 in just over an hour. One annoying thing on the gameplay is that there is no way to turn off the acceleration driving assistance and the game doesn’t let you fully throttle while in turns. Definitely something the developers need to fix to have a real fully drivable car with no acceleration constrains. Worth the money

Disappointed. It’s a great felling Simcade. Playing with a Backbone is fine. Not enough in terms of fine tuning controls such as dead zones and sensitivities. Looks good with solid performance. Biggest disappointment is car choices are abstractly categorized and those categories are directly tied to track choice. Secondly is the AI is horrendous and spoils the otherwise fantastic career mode. AI doesn’t obey the same physics and has catchup mechanics for both the player and the AI. The game tries to force you into not winning nor getting blown away at higher difficulties. Hit goes from too easy to impossible. It feels like it wants you to place 5th-3rd even though I’m setting fastest laps.

GRID AUTOSPORT - Best Racing Game For iPad!. This title is definitely the best racing game for mobile. You have to buy the app but it is so worth it. You get so many cars and tracks plus all the DLC for free!!! No adds and no premium currency, just pure racing. Also the game just updated the graphics and all I have to say is “WOW!” Super clean and crisp edges, brilliant lighting and shadows added to a game that already has amazing driving physics and superior sound quality. Nice job to the developers and many thanks!

Almost perfect. This is a great game it has almost everything I hope that we continue to get updates for years to come but in my opinion 2 things are missing one cota was in the game for ps3 we need that and also I feel we need more variety in the highest level of endurance similar to the gt3 cars and we also need Le Mans I hope to see more free dlc coming soon thanks for a great game and fixing the save issues

Totally worth the money!. At first i was sceptical about this game but after i tried it out my mind was just blown. This is the best racing game on mobile hands down. People who complain about the controls should try it with a controller and tune their vehicles. After tuning its so much more fun to drive. I would recommend every racing game lover to try this out! I only with they had another graphics settings which would increase the max graphics fps to 60. Max detail with 60fps would be so nice!

Poor graphics. Over priced. This game given the poor graphics should be $2.99 tops. You can’t even tell what kind of car you are approaching from behind until it’s in front of your bumper. Heavily shadowed. On the newest and biggest iPhone, and this has nothing on Real Racing 3, in terms of graphics. And you can’t own cars, likely the best part of a racing game, but this does not have that option. I do like the idea that you buy the game and then there is nothing more to buy, you can play all of it. However, as mentioned above, $2.99 tops. I do not recommend buying this game at the current 9.99 price.

Game crashes second career cup. Spent $10 to just have the feeling of throwing my phone across the room! Completed the drift cup 10 times and it crashes every-time it is completed, and take like 8 races to finish just to keep doing it over and over because the game crashes at the same spot every-time. Upon reopening it, it forces you to to it again...and again and again... this has been the buggiest and glitchiest game I have ever paid money for...it has been a huge headache and just non stop repetitive races that I can’t get out of...no matter if I fail or win it will not save and resets everything when completed....tried so many things and no matter what I do same outcome...doing the same cup over and over without advancing or being able to do anything new but drift...

Great Gameplay!. Superb Graphics make this the best game app offered in iOS. I love that this game has only one charge upfront and no other iaps even offered. Tilt controls on my iPad Pro simply rock! Variable difficulty levels as per user experience. Top notch responsiveness comes close to simulation excellence. I could go on. I won’t. Some lag occurs but to be expected for the richness in graphical performance offered. Battery drain does occur over time tho easily explained by processor usage requirements. Easily my favorite game. Thanks to the devs and eagerly awaiting more games as good as this one.

U ruined the multiplayer experience. Y’all ruined the multiplayer realism experiences of the multiplayer system I hate the ghost system that’s not realistic at all I almost forget I’m playin a game until I ghost right through a car I hate it just add strikes for players who drive dirty were they get bends for like a day for driving stupid and dirty but don’t take away one of the aspects that makes this game great the multiplayer was the best now it’s just like real racing 👎get it together

Still not quite right. I’ve been waiting for an update for quite a while. I made the purchase on the release date of the iOS version, hoping this paid game will teach the other greedy premium games a lesson. However, something is just wrong about the game. I use an iPhone 7 Plus and an iPad Pro 10.5. The graphic is so lack of optimization and you see teeth and rips around all edges. When you play the game it feels like you are looking through a camera filter with too much contrast and low exposure. Most people who play racing games on mobile devices would enjoy the car browsing experience but the menu system of this game makes things look dark and almost in slow motion. It might look nice in certain ways but it’s not very practical for most users who’s looking for instant racing experiences.

Love the tilt to steer. I enjoy a great arcade racer as much as the next guy and a big part of the fun is grabbing the wheel and feeling the speed as you rip around turns. The developer did a great job with the tilt steering in this game to simulate the feel of driving - best I’ve seen and combined with the rich graphics and haptic feedback as you race over cobble stone streets and other terrain, it makes for an immersive experience on mobile. Glad I bought this and appreciate all the free DLC I’ve continued to get since buying.

Grid, iOS, easy.. Downloaded and installed everything left and right, thank you developers as a long time IOS gamer this is an excellent move unlike other cash cows like Real Racing 3, once I started racing WOW, the exhaust notes are on point, I asked myself if this was really on the go, a little bit of fine tuning the controls helped but everything, racing on the X takes getting used to the notch, but so far I am stoked at this new approach, take my money and my hard drive space! 5 stars is not enough. EA take notes.

Bunch of Dumb Reviewers Here. Feral is an absolute one of a kind porting and development team. People are complaining and artificially reducing ratings for a game they DID not create. Feral ported this game, they didn’t create it. Stop complaining about gameplay and physics unless it’s about the controls themselves. Blame the people solely responsible for the (very few) atrocities in this game, Codies, and leave the folks at Feral alone. Look at all the other port attempts, go play Assetto Corsa and see how trashy it is and maybe you’ll have more appreciation than 2 stars. Love you Feral, keep it up!

Best Racing Game in Market!!. Whoever talking bad about this game has no understanding about racing games and physics. I’ve been playing this game since 6 hours and it gets better and better. There are no stupid in app purchases! Just levels and races. Beautiful design, not a lot of crowd on the interface like horizon has. It is basic and beautiful. Every racer fan should purchase this game. Such a DONE job.

Multiplayer suggestion. When multiplayer is added, make a ranking system that has two parts. One part is a sportsmanship rank, this rank dictates how clean u race and if u bump etc it goes down. The second part, is the race rating. This rating is dictated by how much u win or how well u place. Finally, please please please make multiplayer part of the green game but keep everything else paid. If you don’t do this, the queue times will be god awful and no one will play or buy the paid game. Please take this into consideration.

Great game, but be careful with the DLCs. After the initial game prompt for installing the DLCs, I selected all of them. It prompted me to download the All Pack extension. After it finished downloading, the app remained in processing state for more than an hour until I decided to quit it. I was able to go around the problem by enabling each DLC one by one and restarting the app each time. Sadly, it was a terrible first experience with the game. Other than that, it seems to be a good game.

Finally, a real racing game on iOS. It’s about time! Absolutely love the new enhanced graphics and support for the new 2018 iPad Pros. As each day goes by, I need my gaming laptop less and less when great games like this come along, at this quality. It’s the full GRID experience with essentially PC level graphics on the latest iPads and iPhones. I don’t know what else to say other than you need to buy this and support full ports such as this one. I hope we get to see Dirt Rally soon!!!! Go Codemasters and Feral.

Great but needs improvement. This is an awesome racer. Better than. NFS Shift. Please add more demo derby tracks and rally mode. Online mode for playing with friends would make it worth it. Also, pikes peak might be fun. Maybe you could make a dirt rally mobile for rally. Also, you should consider making open wheel racing damage realistic. Examples: wheels fall of or get loose. Maybe that on all races. Of course, this could be turned on and off. Please don’t stop updating this fantastic racing game. Your are the best in the business! A satisfied owner of Grid Auto-sport mobile.

Great game. Needs some things.... Grid Autosport is a great game. Plenty of cars, tracks, and events. There are something I would like to see. The controls were a little odd, but they recently fixed that in their last update. Also, I would love to see more modern cars, such as the srt hellcat some trucks. Grid autosport is the closest thing to forza Motorsport or grand turismo for iOS. Big thanks to the devs and maybe thing about adding some tire marks and smoke. Other then that, big shout-out to codemasters.

Nothing else matters. A handheld racing sim - no other way to describe it. Pressure-sensitive throttle and brake, infinitely customizable difficulty, great graphics, great game play, realistic physics...this game lacks nothing, save for two things: F1 cars, because the company worked on the the official F1 game (which in comparison, turned out to be about as realistic as Pac-Man); and it lacks networked racing / duel mode - again, another feature provided by the F1 app, which could be put to better use in this better game.

Fun. I absolutely enjoy this game. It's one of the sharpest looking mobile games I've played and I have had nothing but fun while playing it. I really love seeing these types of games on iOS that feel like I'm playing on a PC or console, the team behind getting this ported did such an amazing job getting it to run and look good on small and large screens. Some textures can look a little yuck up close but it can be forgiven being that this game is packing so much into tiny smartphones.

🔥My phone is on fire! 🔥. Okay I love the game and how it’s set up! Love the graphics! The crash physics are simply amazing! Even better than forza 7! (And that is embarrassing for the forza’s) But! But but but buuuutttttt!! It takes up 6GB! and I can’t play it for 3mins before my IPhone 7 gets sooo HOT it literally feels like it’s going to burn my hand! I don’t know how Real Racing does it but their game has really really good graphics and doesn’t even take up 1GB! And my phone never breaks a sweat 💦 while playing! BUT I HATE REAL RACING 3! WITH A PASSION! So please keep developing this game so I don’t have to have a bag of ice to keep my phone cool ❄️ while playing. Thank you! Truly love the game it just needs help. Andrew :)

Arcade users stay away!!!. Most of the critical reviews seem to be from arcade racing players. Who in my opinion are either children or people with mental issues. Who the heck uses steering wheel control??? I honestly haven’t made it through the whole game yet bc after not too long it does feel like a grind, which is unfortunate. I love this game and have nothing but praise for the devs who put a game like this on the App Store. It’s been a grind for many years trying to find a game like this and then it just showed up. Keep up the good work!

One of the better games on the App Store. Got this game 1 day ago and it’s pretty fun, all the dlcs are cool. The game does crash if you try racing again so I found a way to fix that, so when I finish a round, I close the game out and enter back in, that way the game won’t crash on me on the last lap or the 4th lap which happened to me before, but other then that it’s a very great game. 8/10 since that’s balanced

ALMOST there!. I will first off start by saying, if you’re on the fence about buying this game, go ahead and do it, because it is that good. With that being said, it does have some quirks. 1. Please fix the steering issue. I don’t feel like I’m driving a car, but a sport bike. This feels very unnatural one driving the cars. Besides that, the sound effects are awesome, the force touch is awesome, and everything else literally about is great. 2. Is there anyway to turn off auto stop? It is extremely annoying when I’m trying to go into a turn and the computer stops for me, I want to be able to stop the car when I please not have the computer do it for me. 3. All of the vehicles interiors need to be redone. They are horrible, but the outside of the cars look absolutely incredible. So good job on that. Other than that, if those issues would be fixed, I would have given it five stars.

AirPlay to TV for max fun!. I screen mirror over to my AppleTV and play with a gamepad. Make sure TV is in “game mode.” I tell you, I can’t believe the quality we are getting from a PHONE game. What’s up on my screen easily looks and plays like an XB1 type game. The biggest dilemma I see the devs and games at this level having issue with? Content. They can’t make these games 10gb+ in size. So this is the one area you feel the “phone-ness.” You want more cars, more tracks, but unless they do DLC packs to let you grab them over time and slowly fill your phone, not sure how else to handle it. This game and EAs Real Racing 3 are my favs this far! However, this might be my #1.

Simply Amazing!. One of my favorite games on my Mac now on iOS, and it is truly a faithful, full game! We need more of these full-featured games where we can keep playing without buying gas (looking at you EA). Thank you Feral for another great game. Well worth the wait! Also, despite the warning at the opening screen, this works perfectly on my 6s Plus. I was prepared for the occasional crash, lag, or long load screens, but it works as if it had been optimized specifically for the iPhone 6s Plus. Amazing!

Gladly supporting this developer!. I haven’t even played this game yet and it’s getting five stars for me. And here’s the reason. I am so grateful to the developer for allowing us to pay once and then play the entire game with no more in app purchases! Thank you for doing this! I wish all developers would do this instead of nickeling and diming their customers with stupid in app purchases that make the game much more expensive in the long run. That is the primary reason I purchased this game! I encourage all developers to do the same thing that this company is doing.

Good graphics, good gameplay worst controls. Let me start off by saying this game has the worse on screen touch wheel control ever especially if you want to drift. Why couldn’t the developers just copy the steering method of real racing where you just slide left or right Instead in this game they make us rotate the wheel. Each time I rotate the wheel beyond a certain angle it either flips over to the other direction or just gets stuck while doing drifts since we have to move steering pretty fast . Sometimes when I touch the steering area the wheel doesn’t appear and I have to touch it again . I like all other aspects of this game except the steering it makes me angry and frustrated.

Full Fat GRID ON THE go. At first I can't win any race. Im used to the controls of real racing 3 which is way easier. But i tried adjusting the tilt controls and adjust the "Deadzone" to 0 and the steering is more like realracing now. I tried playing simulator race on PC and this game is same. Need to apply all driving techniques in order to win. The flashback button is there for a reason. Realistic fast driving is too difficult to handle in real life. Thank you for there is no IAP which is i hate the most in RR3.

Why tho. Its kinda stupid how we cant make the controls how we want them like if you want to use arrow controls you cant have manual on and you need arcade handling on. Its just dumb. You also cant turn auto accelerate off cause it like blocks it. This game would be so much better if we could make the controls and difficulty settings anything we want instead of everything blocked off. Im kinda disapointed cause i payed 10 dollars for this game and i cant even put the controls how I like them. But overall this game is great and the cars and graphics are awesome.

Hidden Gem. I have been looking for a racing game for a while now. I played some of the more popular “free” games but eventually you get so far you hit a point where you have to pay to progress further. But then I stumbled upon this app and there is so much content and its all great. This is the perfect racing game and you can spend hours playing it. Honestly thing it is a steal for the price! I look forward to the addition of new cars! Maybe the Acura NSX or Lamborghini Aventador.

Excellent. If you are looking for a simulator with good physics and gameplay, this is the game to get. Let me explain. The gameplay is excellent. Cars handle how they should, sports cars handle well and muscle cars can’t turn. I like how you have to get used to all the cars. Physics are excellent as well. Unlike RR3, there are realistic physics. Examples are car crashes, and something you can do in this game is flip your car. Not many other games allow you to flip your car. Graphics are good but the interior looks horrible. Would recommend this game 9/10

Overtaxed iPhone X; not a universal app. While the app is impressive conceptually, it overwhelms my brand new iPhone X, which has the best iOS has to offer technologically. Graphics stutter, the phone gets warm and nearing the end of an early race (which I was going well in!) the app just quit. I appreciate the developers’ efforts to excel but maybe they load too much in. I’d rather it have 90% of the capability and run like butter. Disappointing given the cost. Also disappointed that the app wasn’t universal. Asking for another $10 to get it on my iPad. I’m not averse to paying for a good app, but that feels like a lot to ask.

Great game. Console quality racing game, best that I’ve seen so far. Looked great on a iPad 2018. Can’t wait to see it on my new iPad Air 3. I have asked them about it. I understand that writing updates can take time especially when the new hardware isn’t available to them until it’s released to the public. Thanks fo bringing console games to iOS. Just the very fact that such a prominent racing game is now available for iOS — makes me happy. Well done! I can easily give it 5 stara even though there are some issues at this point: performance is not ideal on iPhone X, but still good for what you’re getting. Also I hope there’d be a bit more work on the controls, as in racing simulator (non arcade) it is tough to tilt and still be “in control” of the situation. Combining tilt with force touch for acceleration is even harder. Touch controls for steering weren’t that great either.

UNTOUCHABLE. There isn’t another racing game/simulator in the App Store that even comes close to Grid. The initial price may seem a bit high but it is worth every penny! Hands down the king of mobile racing. When they claim “console quality” they are right on the money!!! I’ve been playing Grid for roughly 6 months now and it still blows my mind. I encourage skeptics to give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed!

Best racing game for mobile. To have such an amazing racing game on mobile is great. Graphics all look exceptional minus the cockpit view. I hope they bring out an updated interior view, this game deserves it. So many settings and options to fine tune everything. Controls are pretty tough to dial in but once you put the effort in it becomes very good. Having practice and qualifying before races is awesome. Wish it had pit stops, but most the ones on console aren’t great. Well worth the price for a console grade game and no loot boxes. Keep up the good work.

Love the graphics and gameplay!. I just bought this, love everything so far but one issue I have. I play on the iPad 10.5 and I have a lot of screen real estate to play with so is it possible you can add an option to adjust the button controls on the screen how you like? In other words, I would want to place the buttons at places I feel comfortable with and also be able to change the touch response sensitivity also. Thanks loads!

Just not much fun.... I love driving games, and the “pay once” aspect of this game immediately made it a product I wanted to support. Unfortunately, as many other reviews found, this game is really not that much fun because of the difficulty and the controls. There is no feedback mechanism that gives you any sense of when a car will have grip and when it will suddenly go off the road. The developers have said that there are plenty of ways to adjust the difficulty, but they really do not change much at all. I have played this a few times and felt nothing but frustration.

Phenomenal!!!. I was just wondering.....what happened to the animation of the people (audiences) in the background? They use to move realistically but now they just hold still like a ps1 version. I hope these poor people wasn’t sacrificed for these updates textures on car models etc....couldn’t you even it out with some textures taken out for the updated animation of the people? It will look nice and even the previous update for this game the graphics were still superb. Just a thought, Still a 5 star game though!!!

Finally!!. I couldn’t be happier that this developer has not followed the current trend of IAP, timed, pay to win junk, and has given us an amazing game that I can sit and play for as long as I like and progress through because I’m getting better at the game and spending non grinding time with it. Although I prefer the more arcade approach to racers, this game looks amazing and plays great as well. This game is worth every bit of the $10 and hopefully it will help bring back premium racing games to iOS.
