Scribbling too many times. Hi, Recently, this app has scrobbled a song I’ve listened to over 100 times, when I’ve only listened to it a few times, and only once on one occasion. This has happened about three times now! Can you please fix this? Or tell me what’s happening when it does this? It’s really annoying and not fun because I don’t want to have a false recording of what I didn’t listen to. Please fix this issue. Thanks!

Needs Dark Mode Widget. Works well. My only complaint is that it hasn’t been updated for iOS 13 and dark mode support, at least for the widget, is needed.

Almost Good, but completely useless. First of all the set up process wasn’t necessarily as flawless and seamless as people make it seem, but once you get through it, it does work as advertised!!!… for a bit. I bought this last year as it seemed to be the only competent way to scrobble apple music plays. It worked mostly for a few months. Skips didn’t count and I noticed if I let too many songs scrobble in the background, half of them would get missed or something. That’s fine, a consistent bug at least can be avoided. All of a sudden- the app completely stops working lol. It scrobbled absolutely nothing for three months and then added 3 songs randomly and hasn’t worked since? Lame 3 dollars, do not spend until (IF) this app ever gets fixed.

Worth the price. It's a very good scrobbler, much better than the official one. However, lately my scrobbles have been showing up as 0, so I have to visit the actual website to get accurate info on my scrobbles. Please fix ASAP

Doesn’t work. None of my tracks scrobble at all, despite being sure it is configured correctly and tracks appearing in “now playing”.

best one this far!!. i have tried over three different scrobbling apps, some of which i had to pay for, but honestly, none of them were as great as this one. i love how it holds some songs & scrobble them automatically. also, how if this app isn’t in my background, they still receive songs that have been scrobbled.

Now broken. This app used to be perfect but now only scrobbles about 60% of what I listen to. The developers also seem to have abandoned the app for now. It’s better than nothing I guess

Best scrobble app that i've ever used. Works well

Really Good, a little buggy. Overall I love this app. It’s quite reliable and does what is promises. However, there are some songs that, when listened to, will register multiple scrobbles and since there is no way to edit the number of listens before hitting scrobble, it means I have to scrobble them all and then manually delete them from last.fm. This is particularly annoying as it consistently happens with the opening track of one of my favorite albums, registering >20 scrobbles for a single listen. If fixed, this would be a 5 star review

14.2.1. Make sure “use listening history” is toggled on in the latest version of settings in the music app. Otherwise it won’t work.

App just stopped functioning. I’ve had this app for about a year and have used it with no issue up until maybe a month ago. Seems like the developers either abandoned it or need to work on updating it, since all of its functionality is fully broken at this point. It detects your scrobbles but will fail to execute if you try to scrobble them. I try going to my profile or see your friends through the app and I get the error “no active network connection or Last.fm is currently not reachable. Please try again later.” constantly. I’ve made sure all permissions to it were allowed and that I had proper connection. For a paid app, it’s a shame how issues like this are overlooked, though I’m willing to continue to use it and rate it based on its continued performance if the developers begin to address these problems.

Beautiful. Beautiful app! It’s so smooth and does everything I want it to do very efficiently! If I could make a suggestion, maybe it would be a better idea to use the album artwork for the top tracks instead of the artist image, similar to how you use the album artwork for the recent tracks. Best Scrobbler App. No other scrobbler app even comes close. This app has great features, is actively maintained, and most importantly, *works reliably*. You can't go wrong with Eavescrob!

Worth the price. Great app!! My only complaint is that if you listen to a track multiple times - for example, once in the morning and once in the evening - it'll scrobble them all at once with the same timestamp. Otherwise, beautiful design.

Finally functionality on the Apple Watch!. Finally the Watch app has functionality! I’ve always wished that the Watch app allowed me to submit scrobbles and now it finally does. Now the complication needs work, on the Watch the icon appears as a square instead of a circle. It stands out and looks ugly.

Version 3.0?. Release version 3.0 it’s been 3 goddamn years

usually great. looks like recently lastfm has limited some of the features for this app? can no longer see album artwork and says i have no friends. other than that it works well with apple music. def worth buying. waiting on update later this yr

wen version 3.0. I’ve been using this app for a long time and am thankful for how well its always worked. I bought an iPad recently and listen to music on there sometimes, in addition to regularly using my phone. When I sync the music to Last.gm using my phone, it does not pick up any of the plays from my iPad however. If I open the app on my iPad though, it shows all of the plays for both of my devices, but includes the wrong date range and also shows other tracks that my phone logged already. I see that the app hasn’t been updated in 3 years, however it mentions to be patient for version 3.0. Given these bugs (and that we’ve been patient for 3 years), when can we expect version 3.0 to be released?

Flawless, simple, worth it. This is a beautiful app, the only scrobbler I’ve ever found to work flawlessly with Apple Music, and the only one that I will ever use. I love the minimalistic design, and I like having the the option—and the default setting be—of not being able to Autoscrob. It’s fun seeing what I’ve racked up when I haven’t checked what I’ve been listening to for a few days. It’s an easy to use Scrobbler without any annoying prerequisites (i.e., I don’t always have to have it in the back, nor do I always have to have it on background refresh, especially with that Autoscrob function off. So unlike many other third-party scrobblers I’ve used in the past, I’ve never missed a single track). Very much worth every penny, at a very ridiculously fair asking price.

I love this app but.... Overall, this app does everything I need it to do. It scrobbles really fast and even scrobbles music in the background. However, the app can have just a few tiny improvements. 1. For some songs (mostly my purchased songs) it‘ll say I’ve listened to the song a bunch of times when I didn’t. Also, the ‘Friends’ tab doesn’t work anymore. I think we should be able to view GIF profile pictures as well. The app is very fast and way better than the original lastfm app. One other thing that should be fixed is Artist/Album Artist.

Um.... I bought this under the impression that this app allowed scrobbling natively from Apple Music without the songs being added locally to one’s library. But that doesn’t seem to be the case, and I’m not exactly sure what “My Music” means when looking at your FAQ.

Where is 3.0? It’s been two years.. App was working just fine, the best third party app I’ve been able to find. However, I upgraded to Last.fm Pro to change my mouthful of a username only to find out AFTER I changed it (through here on the app page in the app store, nowhere within the actual app) that it ceases to function at all if your username is changed. This needs to be fixed immediately, as it was promised with the last update over two years ago.

Perfect!. Works perfectly with Apple Music

Two major flaws. 1. Repeated plays of the same song at different times scrobble at the same time. 2. Syncing with an iTunes library causes songs played there since the last sync to show up under Eavescrob.

Works great, needs pictures though. It’s smoother, and works better than last.fm app so I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off but one point of complaint would be that the app lacks any album artwork except in the album section. No pictures in the song or artist section, i would like to see the whole thing completed

Very nice design. I like it, but I wish songs didn’t get multiplied whenever I connect my phone to Itunes. (The official app does this too so I always have to make sure to delete the songs when connecting to avoid duplicates)

Seems almost flawless. The very first time I tried to go to the "Scrobbled" tab the app crashed but that's the only time I've seen that problem. Other than that it's been fantastic and works great.

won't scribble multiple. if I listen to a song more than once it only counts one of those plays. please fix and this rating will go back to a 5 star

Please don’t buy. Not worth money.. Sure it’s a good scrobbler but it’s definetely huge in the bug department. Can’t even use all the features of LFM pro because of you do it will break the scrobbler.

Best replacement for CloudScrob. The perfect iOS scrobbling app. Doesn't make you play music through it, and actually keeps track of what was played correctly. This is the correct replacement for CloudScrob, which used to be the best option but is no longer updated.

works great but. usually great app, but for some reason i can no longer see my friends activity or any of my friends for that matter. it just says "so sad you have no friends"

Worked great for a few weeks but not at all anymore.. It literally does nothing. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and still, useless.

Bug causes massive over scrobbling. There is a serious bug. If you are listening to music on say a plane where only certain limited internet sites are allowed access to it will keep trying and failing. When you finally connect to a full access network after landing, each failed attempt seems gets counted as a separate scrobble that needs applying. I just listened to an album ONCE (12 tracks) on a plane but this morning when I connected to my home network a total of 6000 scrobbles were sent to last FM for a twelve track album! This ruins the accuracy of my scrobble chart. Please fix this serious bug. This also means you are sending LastFM seriously incorrect counts.

Works Amazing!. This has solved so many scrobble problems that other apps have not been able to. Please keep this updated, well worth the purchase.

Not fully functional. Many features of this app don’t work anymore and it’s not compatible with foobar2000. The watch app is neat but also not fully functional. Mostly this app is useful for checking stats, scrobbling does not work.

Best iOS scrobbler. After having tried a few apps, I settled on this one to scrobble to lastfm and I'm glad I did. I've had this app for awhile, and I've never had any issues. The best part is that I can also use it on my Apple Watch to track what I'm listening to on my walks. Keep up the great work, and please never remove it from the Watch! It's invaluable to me!

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t work. Why’d I pay money for this? Seems like the whole point of the app is that it can track your plays even when it’s not open but it doesn’t do that. Apple never sent my receipt so I couldn’t even get a refund.

Great app, not what I'm looking for. This app is well designed and maintained, and it does its job, but there are plenty of free apps that perform the same function. If this supported Bandcamp scrobbling, I would definitely give it 5 stars, and it would probably be among my most used apps, but alas, I paid $2 for another iTunes scrobbler.

Please update to the new API!. I love the app and unfortunately did not see the message about changing my username so I am stuck back using the default app. Please update it so I can use this one again! It is so much better

BEST LAST.FM SCROBBLER EVER. Just wrote a huge glowing review for this app and of course my iPhone didn’t save it, thanks iPhone!! Don’t really feel like rewriting it, it took me a good 20 minutes. I’ll just give a brief rundown of the app instead. This app is amazing. It scrobbles everything, it runs efficiently in the background, it never crashes, it never misses a song so long as the song is actually added to your iTunes library. And it will also recognise if you’ve listened to a song on repeat, and scrobble the song for each time it’s been played. Also, if you’re listening to a song which is NOT downloaded to your iTunes library, and you realise ‘hey I like this song!’, quickly add/download the song to your iTunes library and Eavescrob will STILL scrobble the song!! How cool. This even works if you add/download the song with only 10 seconds left in the song! Haven’t tested it for 5 seconds. Maybe that is your challenge, should you choose to accept it 😛 Get the app, you won’t be disappointed. IT IS WORTH EVERY CENT. Thank you for making such an efficient and amazing app! Most reliable and convenient scrobbler app I’ve come across!. I have always had problems with scrobbler apps throughout the many years I’ve been using lastfm. Especially when internet connectivity was lost, even if only for a minute or two, the song would not scrobble. The way this app works is that it catches each song you listen to and scrobbles them when you next open the app (and if there’s internet). The very big positive of this is even if you were on a long flight with hours of no internet, once you opened up the app with internet again, all of the songs you listened to would scrobble without any being forgotten or left out. The most reliable and convenient scrobbler app I’ve ever come across and will continue to recommend it!

Perfect!. This has frankly been one of my favorite discoveries when it comes to combining music and last fm on mobile. I had to seek out a new app since SmartPlayer finally refused to launch. Eavescrob is simple to set up. It does exactly what it says on the box with a few nice touches. However one thing that genuinely impressed me is the user interface. It may not be the prettiest app ever made, but that doesn't mean that the experience is sub-par; user interface is polished and simplicity feels thoughtful and deliberate for best experience. The scrobbling is reliable. Every app, including the official last fm, either doubles up out misses scrobbles, and most have big reliability issues when network connectivity issues are concerned. To this extent I haven't been using any automatic scrobbling features on Eavescrob, however I know that whenever I open it, anything I've listened to will be there so I can listen to whatever and take care of pushing the scrobbles when it's convenient without worrying about them getting lost. I also want to note that your played tracks feel like first class citizens even in this manual mode, rather than like in a basement for naughty children - which is how many other similar apps tend to treat cached entries. Perfection.. Best Last.fm app I’ve ever used. It’s nearly a fully-featured replacement for their website, along with scrobbling support. Très belle!

Lifesaving. I was about ready to give up on Apple Music because of the lack of decent scrobbling options in iOS. Even Last.fm’s own apps are full of bugs and I was dealing with manually choosing songs and/or double-scrobbles. Worst first-world problem ever. Eavescrob has fixed all that. It’s worked flawlessly so far, and as a bonus, is beautiful to look at. Apple should be paying the developers for keeping people in their ecosystem.

Ok. Nice interface. Doesn’t show some album art, but overall looks better than the official app. Has the issue of double scrobbles when using this in addition to desktop iTunes, but the official app also has this behaviour so J cannot fault Eavescrob for it.

Best Scrobbler. You've tried the rest, now try the best. An iOS Scrobbler that actually works, is unobtrusive, easily allows me to filter out duplicate scrobbles from other devices, AND looks nice? Sold.

Best Scrobbler. This is a incredible app. The widget is very useful. It loves the track both locally and on last.fm, which is perfect. The app is very beautiful and scrobbles reliably. It has a cool name too. I love it!

Best solution for scrobbling Apple Music. Still the best app out there for scrobbling things from Apple Music — just be sure the tracks are added to your library.

Good UI, Duplicate Scrobbles. The app functions fast and efficiently, but due to using Apple music I'm getting duplicate Scrobbles over from my PC. I could avoid using the PC scrobbler, but I'm worried I'll miss out on a few Scrobbles. Perhaps some duplicate protection should be put in place, but really a minor issue.

One very frustrating quirk. Works great but then when I connect my phone to my computer it scrobbles a bunch of tracks I played on my computer that my computer’s last.fm already scrobbled.

Pleasantly Surprised. I am very pleased with this app. I took the risk when it had no reviews, and man am I glad I did. The app functions perfectly- you listen to music on your iPhone, iPod, or whatever else, and with the touch of a button it will scrobble your past songs. It's very helpful for those who frequent last.fm like myself, but hate the fact that you can't scrobble from your phone. Definitely would recommend this app.

A great app but No Spotify. This is a really well-designed app. Although I foolishly paid the two bucks before checking the internet for info and it isn’t comparable with Spotify, which is what I mostly use. Still, I guess it’ll come in handy when I (rarely) listen to the stuff on my phone from my iTunes days. 5 stars still because it really is a beautiful app and my disappointment is 100% my fault.

Ruined my last.fm account. This app Scrobbled from my iTunes and my Spotify. I only wanted it to track Spotify plays. Unfortunately, now my last.fm account is screwed up. I cannot fix this. I don’t know why this app chose to track things that I didn’t request on the last.fm website. I have to delete my account and create a new one because of this error. Please, anyone who cares deeply about their music being tracked accurately, DO NOT purchase this app. Coming from a huge music fan this was the biggest mistake I could have made. Never again.

Superb— Well worth the meager price tag.. I rarely pay for iOS apps, this was an exception, due to few good options for last.fm scrobbling apps. It exceeds expectations. Have had zero issues thus far. App is updated regularly; even has an Apple Watch app. My only desire is the ability to scrobble Amazon Music tracks, which I assume is a limitation that can’t currently be addressed. 5 stars.

Inaccurately Scrobbles My Songs. I like this app but it keeps scrobbling songs many times when I only listened to them like one time. It’s getting ridiculous. It says I listened to somes songs I have like 90-100 times when I know I only listened to those songs for half those times. I then go on another app i have and it says that i listened to those songs half the time this apps says I did. It’s really frustrating and i had to delete the app because of it. What’s the point of having an app like this if it doesn’t even accurately show what you listen too.

Best investment ever. I was praying for the longest time that the last.fm app would get an update and it never did, so I started looking for alternatives. This is by far the best app for scrobbling that I've come across. Great design, super fast and no issues so far. 5/5 for sure.

The WatchOS app changed my life. I’ll be honest, I’ve known for a long time that you can pair your AirPods with your Apple Watch and listen to playlists or albums that you download onto it. While this sounded amazing, I never tried it because I didn’t want to lose scrobbles from listening on the watch. But then Eavescrob released their watch OS app and I am on cloud nine. It scrobbles EVERY TRACK you hear on the watch. While Radio tracks can be hit or miss (in their defense it was stated), it works great with any album or playlists your download. Now since Apple Music doesn’t want to go to Spotify Connect route, I would LOVE to see a TVOS version of the app. The iTunes TVOS app is gorgeous but I always hesitate to use it because I cannot scrobble. So a TVOS app, would be the only thing I want for Christmas! Oh and scrobbling all tracks played on Radio. But overall, phenomenal app. Get it now!

Probably your best bet. The app does not update your last.fm profile as you listen to songs, but it does capture your plays and scrobbles them every time you reopen the app. Instead of resorting to other scrobbler apps which haven't been updated in years, this is a nice app. Just wish it updated live.

Does what it says on the tin. Definitely my go-go app for scrobbling to Last.fm, something that has been a problem for me on iOS devices.

Amazing!. This is the best $1.99 I've ever spent on an app. Eavescrob is the best app for scrobbling to last.fm. It works seamlessly with the music app on the iPhone. Thank you for giving us 2.0!
