Essential training tool. I love this app and the watch! They have made my training more effective and I’ve seen faster times and better endurance as a result. The features offered on this one platform allow for me to easily set goals and and monitor my progress from week to week. Highly recommended!

It’s fine. It works pretty well and connects to my watch easily. The watch doesn’t easily display a chart where I can view how many miles i’ve run in the last week. This isn’t necessary, I would just like it. Also, whenever one of my runs is slower than usual, they make sure to tell me that! It’s just not the most supportive app. I recommend linking your account to Strava for a better display.

Sync problems & lack of notice. I have also been having a problem syncing to my phone. I now know that this is a known problem being worked on. It would have been nice to notify your registered uses of this so we could have avoided a couple of weeks of frustration and resets. Very poor customer service. Updated Nov 23- At the start line of the Turkey Trot this morning and the watch would not work (again). It went back to it’s original date and time when purchased and would not do anything. 2 miles into the run it worked again. Is this also a software issue?

Syncing issues. I’ve had my TomTom watch for almost 3 years but lately I’ve had issues with the app and the watch not syncing. I’ve had to re-pair the two 3 times this week alone. Is there some thing going on that is keeping them from syncing?

Software Updates Drop Bluetooth Sync. As many, not a few, have mentioned here and on other forums, the update from September '17 caused syncing issues with the watch to the mobile app. TomTom said to wait for the next update. That was back in October. Well that update is here and it's still not correcting the issue. As they said back in early October, they are aware of the issue. And with this update, they are saying the same thing. Meaning they just don't know. Yes I've done the troubleshooting with the app on my computer, mobile app, and watch. Forget device, reset, factor reset, uninstall and reinstall.

Good experience. Overall, I like the watch and the app, been using it for over three years now. I like the statistics part of the app. I dont see an option to have our own pictures taken during a run or ride uploaded to the app and shared in social media. Also the option to show the GPS map of the activity in social media would be good.

Fantastic. I really have grown to love this app. It really keeps me educated about my health and my own fitness level. I literally have learned how to track my heart rate during my workouts and after I workout I can check my actual stats during my workout. Awesome app!

Update software. They need to update the software, as any normal person I update my apps often, I updated my app and little did I know that it won’t fix anything but make the app worthless since it won’t connect with my watch. I contacted customer support but they told me surely the update will come soon but a months later not even a small update has been pushed. Normally I would give this app a 5 stars but the whole update just killed my vibe about the app since the main purpose was using with my watch but now I can’t even do that. I might be a little over exaggerated but the app helps a lot with the watch.

Trouble with accurate syncing. I absolutely love my watch and the app for the most part has been easy to use. I don’t have any issues anymore with inaccurate statistics when I sync but I had some issues a few days ago with connecting the phone and app. This has since resolved but it has occurred twice before as well. Otherwise I really enjoy this app and my TomTom Spark 3 Cardio watch!

Nice fitness app. New watch software seems to have fixed Bluetooth issues plaguing this app and phone pairing. The app itself is pretty nice, though fitness age is irritating (compared to whom?) The watch also gives me credit for distance when I'm writing at my desk, which is weird. All in all, not bad as a poor man's Apple watch alternative.

Fix swimming heart rate read. I bought this to record activities, specifically swimming only to be disappointed that swimming doesn’t count as an activity??? If the external heart reader cannot fix this issue then you need some estimate calculations in the software. Other than that I love it!

Very bad experience. There are a lot of functionalities lost with the new update. Just an example, since last update the app doesn’t access to photos on ios. In setting the option of allowing access disappeared for Sport app. After searching in the tomtom foro without any final conclusion i uninstalled the app and installed again and i could fixed it. The synchronization also sometimes doesn’t work, i have to wait and then test it again.

Just what I needed to get back in gear. So glad TomTom is still supporting the older GPS watches with the mobile app integration. Mine is from 2015 long been discontinued, I hadn’t used it since 2016 but I dusted it off this week, charged it up, synced it with my new phone and it works like a dream! Love the map my run feature also. Thanks.

Fantastic for an app not updated for 4 years!. Once you sync the watch too many times (about a years worth), it might get a little glitchy. However, just do a hard reset of the watch (instructions are all online) and it works perfectly again. For a watch an app that’s over 4 years old, it’s exactly what I want and need and is incredible. I love how it syncs magically to Strava as well. I wish they didn’t discontinue the watch. I hope they come out with a new version of the watch. The app is great!

App has improved brilliantly. This is my 2nd Tomtom watch and the app continues to improve. I love how it filters out pause time without me needing to do anything. Snowboarding this weekend I founds the summary at the end of each run so helpful. Keep it up!

TomTom sports. Love my TomTom spark music Hate the new app update! Thankfully tomtom, jumped right in and helped me to reset everything back to before the newest update, so that it syncs again. Seriously, they're really great for customer service my tomtom spark music does everything I want it to do & once they get the updates on the app fixed will be the greatest app yet. I have had several different watches and I'll never go anywhere but TomTom again.

It's never failed me. I've had this app and a Tom Tom watch for a year now and it has exceeded my expectations. The watch is perfect, but the syncing with the Tom Tom app hasn't failed me yet. All of my data has been saved and automatically uploaded to Strava, but I actually like the apps statistics and graphing better than Strava. 10/10 will use the app until they stop making Tom Tom watches.

Great app. Gives me pretty much everything that I would want in an app and makes it easy to upload and send my runs to different apps as well.

Awesome App! Great for tracking progress. First I gotta say I love the TomTom runner watch, I literally cant go on a run without it! The App is pretty solid. Great dashboard. Really like the satellite imaging, & all the different metrics. Recommendations - have total miles for each month under activities. Have different options/filters for sharing run/picture. Also option to show mile pace when sharing. A lot could be improved in this feature (just look nike+ or strava)

Could be awesome but.... Needs Apple Watch version. This app writes to NRC and Strava so if it has an Apple Watch app we could have the trifecta of running records. I started with Nike+ Run Club so they have my historical data, my running group uses Strava. If TomTom had an Apple Watch app I could import to both right here. From what I see so far TomTom has it all anyway, and they were part of my 1st GPS Watch too so I’d stick with them, but I can’t see getting a 2nd Watch.

Love the simplicity but would be nice to update to 2017. The app no longer allows the placement of font. It does still update to all social media which is nice but wish they'd include notifications to the devices. I have the TomTom Spark 3. Would be nice to be caught up to 2017 technology. My other complaint would be that posting to social media is too sensitive many times. It's too easy to swipe out of the post and have to start all over. I would also like to see font size adjustment or font style adjustment so that more could be added into the text. Final thing I'd like to see is all workout stats able to be added into the share settings. Please also bring back the color fonts. They were done away with to where you are texts into your social media posts.

Great sports tracker app. I love the TomTom Sports app. Gives me all the biometrics and tracking info I need in a simple and understandable format. Use it with my TomTom Adventurer watch and sync it with Endomondo and the MyFitness app for nutrition tracking. I wish it had a gear tracker function like the Strava app has so I could easily keep track of mileage on my running shoes. I used to just sync with Strava for that info but the Sports app no longer connects with the Strava app. Unfortunately, I keep hearing that TomTom is getting out of wearable gps devices and will stop supporting the Sports app. Hope that is not true because I like the TomTom watch and Sports app. Functional and easy to use with all the info I want to keep track of.

Okay.... Tomtom has new and better features than the Nike app, but there are a couple things that would make it even better: -Shoe tracking -the ability to write notes with each activity -the weather from each run (it's nice to look back see "oh I ran when it was 95 degrees and sunny out- maybe that's why I ran so slow" I have one additional issue with the PRs. Why not keep it simple: (1st, 2nd, 3rd) for normal distance: 1mi, 5k, 10k, 13.1, and 26.2. Why do I need to know the fastest pace for "short runs" like 2 miles?? It's just useless. Update: This app crashes every time I open it.

Still using my TomTom!. I’m on my 2nd TT Running watch and it’s still going strong! I hate that they quit making wearables but I’ll continue to use this for all of my sports and workout activities until I just can’t update it anymore. I’ve always loved the larger readout, especially as I get older. I can’t believe how well it still works even though the last review is 2 years old. For reference, I have the GPS watch w/built-in heart rate monitor. 😃

Good app. I have been using this app for 17 months. I really enjoy this app and my Tom Tom Watch. It provides great data. I love the notifications and messages alerts, what a great feature. Its so awesome! I would give 5 stars but Lately I am having trouble downloading my runs. The app seems to drop my watch. The watch is still connected so I’m not sure what’s going on. I hope there is a fix for that soon, because I love this app and my watch.

App is fantastic, sad they’re pulling out of hardware game. Like the title says, the app is fantastic. There’s little to complain about (one small gripe is that when you zoom in on a map, it auto resizes to the full map view instead of allowing you to move around while zoomed in). I won’t even take off a star because it’s a small issue, but I do wish they fixed it, especially since I reported it as a bug and they confirmed the issue. Doubtful it will be fixed though since TomTom unfortunately has stopped selling the spark fitness watches. I guess they had too much competition from Garmin, Apple etc. It’s sad to hear because they’re product is reliable and accurate. It’s far more economical than other watches that are 2-3 times the price. For me the pros are the lower price, longer battery life, and the fact it does almost everything all the more expensive watches do. I don’t need bells and whistles, I need something that reliably does what it’s meant for. I’ll use the watch for as long as it lasts, but after that I guess I’ll become a Garmin customer in the future unless TomTom changes their mind.

Really like it now. I initially had historically bad luck syncing this watch but an update fixed all my troubles. Love that I can run without my phone attached to my arm because I can put a music playlist in the watch and Bluetooth to my earplugs. Great result stats are given. Love the messaging alert function of viewing messages and incoming call info. Weird, however, that if I start an exercise and immediately take watch off and sat on a table it will still show a heart-rate...how is that?

Love. With the tom-tom I have managed to lose almost 60 pounds in the last year my fitness level on the other hand has improved amazingly at 52 years old I feel like I did in my 30s I’m running again and it’s all because of this tom-tom. Being able to track my runs push myself to be in a better heart rate zone and go further in longer has been instrumental in my fitness goals

Several years done the road. Really have enjoyed my watch over several years and many updates to the app. I have the multi sport. It count my laps in the pool and does miles on my bike and run very well. It would be nice if it would track a little better on open water swims and I wish the was a setting for that. It must be turn to freestyle which is not in reference to the swim stroke, but doing whatever you want. Overall love the watch and ease of use with the big toggle and large number read out.

Pais. This is my 2nd Tom Tom watch ,my first was a multi sport, and I liked its ease of use so I upgraded when it was time for a new one. I really like the versatility of the Adventurer. Not only do I use it for swim, bike, and run, but it’s features for hiking are amazing. The ability to find your way back to the start point in the woods has been very useful. Finding a satellite in densely covered woods has been great.

Why can’t you copy your run to trails through the app?. Everything about this app is good mother than the trails and workouts. You should be able to copy your runs to trails through the app and not through the website. It kind of defeats the purpose of having the app.

Pros and Cons. Overall the watch is great. It doesn’t accurate job monitoring my heart rate, distances, and speed’s. At the gym, the tracking is pretty spot on as well. The freestyle mode puts the best of both worlds together. My issues are mainly concerned with all of the necessary manual syncing and wire-connecting the watch needs. Battery life is not optimal either (often only good for one long work out). If you want to upload music, you must to do it through a PC or laptop. If you have a household that has more than one Apple Music account, it may be impossible to get your music uploaded do to iTunes strict features (e.g. The fear they will have multiple users sharing one account). The watch must also frequently be uploaded to a cell phone via Bluetooth. That sinking has many issues, as often times it can take up to 5 or 10 minutes to get the two to sync up. i’m times I just give up and sync it later in the day. There are a few bugs, but I love the device overall.

Needs an Update. The app definitely needs an update to adjust to the new iOS system. As I’ve seen in other reviews, the app has forgotten my watch and when I delete my watch from the app, it won’t let me hit “watch” to re-pair my device. Please fix this quickly- using this as a training device. There is a way around this bug, which is to just upload directly to a computer but this app was built for the convenience of having that process on your phone.

Can’t use app without internet!. I have spent hundreds of dollars on my TomTom watch and cycling sensors... However, I can’t use them because the watch and App require me to login to an online TomTom account to view my heart rate, cadence and gps data!!! There isn’t internet where I ride!!! I have searched for some way to save MY data to my laptop so I can simply view my data, but no way seems to exist!!! Many cyclists and other users have NO need to SHARE our data or have TomTom analyze our data!!! Please develop a program that will simply allow us “simple” people to access our data and save it to our computer!!! A method to download the watch data to a CVS file format would be greatly appreciated!!! Otherwise, does anyone want to buy a cheap bracelet?????

Better than before!. The application is great but it is still lacking important integration issues. The sleep function still does not transfer out, which is really big for me. My TomTom has the capability to track elevation but there is no alert to tell me to stand if I was sitting too long. I would also love if it committed with more application. On the flip side, I like the how the watch talks to the phone by it self, tethering is way better. I like the added features of phone calls and text messages, that was a surprise the first time one came in and I was not aware that was a thing. Last thing, I like the new power meter, I do not know what the specs for it but I try to hit at-lease all the stars five times aweek. In conclusion, TomTom can do better, but they are getting better daily.

Ugh!. The app is only reading the movement of the phone not the actual steps/information from my Apple health app. And since I don’t walk with my phone while at the gym the app will show I only did 250 steps (which is walking into the gym) when my Apple health app shows I did 3k steps on the treadmill. UGH! Why is this? I really want to love this app because I like the look of it but if it’s not counting ALL my steps it’s useless to me.

Great app, shame they got out of watch business. The TomTom watch works really well. And together with the app, you can collect data that other apps like Strava or Endomondo would charge for. And since you can link services on the TomTom site, all your activities can be pushed to another app. I wish I could permanently dismiss some notifications in the Latest tab. I wish I could launch the app into the Activities tab. But overall the link between watch and app is superb. That said, TomTom got out of the watch business last year. So I'll be looking for other solutions once the watch conks out.

Something is not right. In March, I updated my Spark and the app. Since then, my iPhone and the watch have a great deal of trouble of syncing. Sometimes, the app forgets the watch but the phone does not and I have to remove it from Bluetooth settings and add the watch new. Sometimes I can it it is connected on the watch, in the app, and on the phone, but it won’t sync without dropping it and re-adding. Worked before the big update I did. Is it doesn’t. Would not recommend based on this performance.

Design less than desirable. While I consider myself quite adept at tech devices, setup and install of this particular device was user unfriendly mostly linked to design. I used to be a Fitbit charge user, and have to admit that the technology and design of the Tom Tom device purchased yesterday vs the Fitbit device with two yr old technology have not progressed much. Neither the Fitbit nor the Tom Tom Charge devices left me impressed. Example for both ... the synthetic bracelets were not simple / easy to install. It took me a few minutes on the Tom Tom to get both buttons inserted. :-( :-( :-( After a couple weeks, now used to the ergonomics of the design, except the wrist band ... whose design leaves me baffled given all the simpler options available. Difficult to get both it latched. Well ... the inevitable happened, and not really a surprise ... the button that latches the wrist band finally lost itself on the golf course and the charge fell off. Hopefully tomtom redesigns the wrist band to be more user friendly.

Rock solid. Hope they keep this app going for a long time. It just works and the same can be said for my old Spark 3 watch. Bulletproof, easy to use tool. I wish all tech gadgets were designed like this. Too bad Tomtom decided to get out of the sports watch market.

Great App, great watch (spark 3), and awesome headphones. No issues, works great, connectivity on my iPhone 6s Plus is faultless and my 15 dollar no name brand Bluetooth heart rate monitor connects to my Spark 3 watch in seconds. The best bit about the watch is that I don't have to lug around my phone to listen to music while running. The supplied Tomtom Bluetooth headphones sound better than Bose or beats. Really good piece of kit for the money! Kudos to the Dutch guys for making a great product!

Went backwards. When I first bought my watch, I could swim and the app could tell my my pace per 100 yards. Now? It tells me how many miles per hour I swim, give me a number under the header ‘duration’ under a numeric row... is that a length or a lap? I’ll never know. I emailed back and forth for months and finally got someone who understood, said they’d submit ticket and would update me. Nothing. I tried to start it up again and never got anyone to understand what I was talking about again. I was including screenshots by the way.

Great App and Customer Support. Been using the TomTom Spark for almost two years with this app and it is relatively flawless. My only gripe is that it takes about four minutes to sync, but that may be technical limitations and not a flaw in the app/watch. That’s a relatively small gripe for an otherwise excellent product.

Just what you need, nothing that you don’t. Had a Garmin Vivoactive HR before the TomTom Spark 3, and the TomTom and app are far better. The app is simple, connects easily and just plain works well. Bluetooth inevitably will have some issues, but this has far fewer than Garmin did (in my experience).

New User. Adventurer w/ BT headset. First off, the headset is the *best*, bar none, wireless gear I’ve ever put in my ears, and rivals many of the wired buckets I’ve owned. Also, the music streaming capability of the watch is awesome. I do think the proprietary dongle for charging / syncing was a miss, a standard connection would have been preferable. The integration with the phone is seamless and works well. Love having a buzz on the wrist, before the text shows onscreen. Now for the app. Overall it’s very informative and intuitive, but it seems to periodically have problems holding connections. Twice now, in under two weeks, I’ve needed to restart my phone (iPhone 7+) to get them talking to one another again. As a person recovering from a severe, chronic medical condition, the workouts, and other presets, aren’t relevant to me (yet). Now a couple of questions. Is there a reason the feature sets between the local and online versions differ as much as they do? My wife entered the tracker game well before I did and a competitor’s app does a really deep dive on the sleep side of the equation, differentiating between light, deep and REM sleep cycles. Could this be folded into a future update? In conclusion, between the hardware and software, I’m quite pleased, but give four stars as a rating due to the connectivity and features aspects mentioned above.

Mixed Feelings. I’ve had my Spark 3 for about 3 years. I like the data it collects but am VERY frustrated with the Fitness Age. I’m 59 and work out regularly cycling, jogging and lifting weights using my Spark 3 and the Aaptiv app. The more often I work out the HIGHER my fitness age is. I watch my points and work effort constantly. This watch makes me feel so defeated, I can barely stand it. I’ve searched online for a resolution and have basically seen only directions on what fitness age is. Signed. Mixed Feelings

Syncing Woes. I was SO excited when I plugged my phone to my MacBook and was told that there was an available update. I downloaded it, and from that point on I can no longer sync my watch to my phone! I even factory reset my watch, thinking that could be the problem, but it’s not. It’s the software. My iPhone recognizes the watch, but the app won’t give me a space to type in the PIN number to sync my watch. Not only that, but the PIN number flashes across my watch so fast I can barely read it before it disappears! I hope this resolves soon, it’s really frustrating.

Good app - needs Apple health sync. I have had a tomtom spark 3 for about a year and a half and really like it. The app works well and is easy to use also, with the occasional blip, which is just technology today. The reason I am not giving 3 stars is that tomtom advertises everywhere that it syncs with Apple health. Technically it does. You can get data from your phone into the watch. HOWEVER- you cannot get data (like steps) from the watch into Apple health. Developers on the site say it is an Apple restriction. Really? Fitbit does it.

Almost perfect.. This APP continues to get better and better. I am not going to suggest areas that I might wish for changes. There is simply no way every need for every training application can meet everyones expectations. I appreciate what we have and can work it out for most of my specialties. WillDyeAdventures

Watch and app are great individually, but syncing is unreliable. If only my watch and app would sync I would love the combo. The watch feels good, plays music well, and tracks my workouts well. When I can see the workouts in the app afterwards I love the detail. But that’s only when I can see the workouts afterwards. Often the syncing stalls at 9%, so I can’t see my last workouts, and the only way to get them is to let it sync for an hour while I’m not using my phone for anything else. This occurs even with the latest updates for both watch and app. I hope some future update will fix this.

Tom Tom is useless. I thought I’d move from a Fitbit to a Tom Tom thinking it would be better battery wise, what a mistake. Ever since I bought this 3 days ago it’s been a issue, one thing why do I need a computer to set this up? In an age when we either just have a smart phone or a tablet. Then it wouldn’t pair with the App, couldn’t get the body composition working probably. I’ve done all troubleshooting and it still can’t find my device. I’m ready to go back to the store I bought it from and going back to Fitbit. The device and the app are not user friendly, very disappointed Tom,Tom.

Unable to pair for music. I have had the watch and app now for about three years. I have never been able to play music.

No longer crashes. Great app let's me compare my runs

TomTom sport. I got the TomTom sport from my Popa and I absolutely love it it’s great and an amazing upgrade from my old watch witch broke recently

Can’t update. Usually pretty good only updating to 9%, not sure why. Redownloaded app, forgot device in Bluetooth, still won’t download fully

Great app. Great app easy to use

Great for motivation. I’ve had the app (and watch) for about a year now. Syncing is a little slow but never failed. I’ve been using it mostly for step count so far, but have recently started using the app to keep me accountable in my exercise. My watch itself has a heart rate monitor and it’s accurate only 50-60% of the time - so useful for just improving your fitness but not for die hard exercise buffs. If you need motivation for just starting out, this app is pretty useful when used often.

Great app, could be bettered with tweaks. Great app, love the stats and comparing speed with similar aged people. Auto pause is a great feature BUT would be better if you could customise the auto pause cut in speed. I’ve got to walk the bike for a part of my commute as cycling isn’t allowed. Hammers my average speed! Also zoom function on the map keeps resetting to default zoom level

Tom Tom. I’ve had this app and the TomTom runner 3 cardio and music watch as I wanted a waterproof tracker for swimming and my road to fitness. Generally the app is ok however the pairing is not at all a present experience. On automatic it needs constant updating if I want to look at my stats during the day; if the watch rums out of battery and that’s every two days on average since the newest updates then the pairing won’t work and it needs to be repaired; sometimes this takes two or three goes to get the pairing to engage. Got to say as new products that are waterproof come on the market I’ll be looking very carefully at their reviews and most probably changing to another device if you can’t get this to pair as easily as my other Bluetooth devices. And please look at the battery life, it becomes tedious to have to recharge three or four times a week especially when there are many articles on Garmin devices lasting between 10 and 29 days and the TomTom watch I have used to last between 5 and 7 days before the recent software updates. Hi There Reiss. I have the latest software .76 and that’s where I’m now not getting the Bluetooth sync.

Tom Tom Golfer 2. This product is no longer supported in South Africa. If fact I believe it has been discontinued by Tom Tom. So will me moving over to Garmin in the future. So the app is useless without the hardware.

Generally good but should read and write with health. Hard to review history in the app. Would be easier if it synchronised to health app in full, not just read but read and write. I can go via strava or something similar, but that seems a convoluted solution. With the update - didn’t connect so tried re-pairing. Now it won’t pair. Also the couple of times it did pair the app didn’t show me the latest data for a while.

re:tomtom sports. ive had no problem(apart from one sync problem)with the app. i think it is a great app.(im using a tomtom touch wacth that you should get)

The app and watch won't connect. They seem to have terrible reviews at the moment

Collapse frequently in the last one month. Hi, after installing new version from tomtom golfer 2 to this app, it always collapse from last month. It also does not record right steps during golf even I’m walking & using buggies.

Awesome. Great watch and app. Only thing is it doesn't pick up my steps when walking and pushing the pram

💖 it!!!. Obsessed with my new Fitbit. Love love love it, 💖💖💖

Good for Me. As a casual social runner, this is probably all I need. Pairs easily and gives me enough information to keep me happy. I like how it ranks me against others in my age group.

Great app. UI needs work.. I enjoy using this app with my TomTom Spark to track my runs. It gives all the info I need through an interesting UI, but I find the Daily Summary can be a bit confusing to digest. Overall it’s a good app that stops me from getting a premium Strava account. Does what it says on the tin.

Swim. I really wish the app had an option for swimming goals, the watch does and I want to be able to pair it with the app for goals. If someone could let me know how to do that or if the app gets a swimming option then let me know!

Disappointing. Doesn’t synch with watch. Will only synch via desktop app.

Unable to pair watch using Bluetooth. This watch has been great, but now it won’t even pair to my phone using Bluetooth. This is very frustrating, to upload my data I have to plug it into the laptop! Anyone know of a way to rectify this?

Doesn’t sync with watch. App might be great but it doesn’t sync with watch so it is useless. How is it meant to operate when it can’t read data from the watch. Please avoid buying TomTom they have not fixed this issue in over 12 months. They have no consideration for their customers. If undecided you should get a Garmin.

Great App. Thanks. Use it daily.

Lots of frustration with this app and hardware.. The fitness tracker has known problems which Support says a factory reset will solve, and it occurs quite often. Syncing with your IOS iPad is a major task!

Update renders it useless. Stopped syncing after update - wish the updates didn't stuff things up like this so frequently

Bit slow to sync. Love this app which connects my watch and shows me any progress I make. Seems very slow sometimes though to sync with my Tom Tom watch.

It's a neat little app.. I am good with tech but just started using this app with my tom tom adventurer that I got recently. It does the jobfor tracking my run realty well. It excludes pauses eg when I have to stop at red lights and tells me the excluded portions. Frankly there is a lot of data in there if you want to use it. Fab for an occasional user like me who only wears a smart watch when tracking weekend runs and listen to music while doing it!

Updates. Any updates please

App does not remember the watch. The app does not remember the watch. To sync data I need to delete the watch from Bluetooth devices and pair again. Used to work fine earlier. May be some update screwed it up.

Not syncing anymore. This was a great app, but after the latest update it stopped syncing with my watch. Installing it again didn't work. I tried another device with similar results.

Love the new app. Clean and functional

Great app and watch. Works great and syncs perfectly- user friendly and provides the most important information. Since the developers seems to be reading the review here’s my only feedback: I would love to be able to see the kilojoules on the band (I’ve got the sports with body composition) instead of calories, I’ve changed in the app but it doesn’t change on the wristband. Overall very happy.

I love the app!. Everything works as it should! It would be nice if it syncs faster, but that is perhaps more of a hardware issue.

Tom Tom vs Fitbit. For my money, the Tom Tom watch and app are superior to the Fitbit blaze, at least it hasn’t sprung a leak yet lol

Awesome App to track your performance. I use this for walks, runs & bike rides, and it is great to be a key to review your performance after your workout. Highly recommended!

Probably my favourite running app. I like every feature of the Tomtom app much better than all the others, I like the V02max, fitness age and I like how it ranks me among men my age. It has everything I need including history, I just wish tomtom would keep making running watches they are so unique. sadly when I upgraded to the Adventurer I lost the fitness points which I really liked.

Good stuff. Works really well. Syncs with watch and strava perfectly. Nice interface.

Good but couple of weak points. The app is good but the sleep tracking is really basic. The watch thinks you’re sleeping if you sit still too long and you can’t delete segments of ‘sleep’ that weren’t sleep at all. This is poor. The only stat you can see is total sleep time - nothing about deep sleep, R.E.M. etc. This is with Tom Tom adventurer watch. Also no VO2 max.

Doesn’t work with iPadOS 13. The app crashes immediately once opened in iPadOS 13. Please fix this!

Disappointed. Unfortunately my Tomtom Sports watch is hard to use, isn’t accurate in regards to taking heart rate readings (the whole reason why I wanted one of these style watches) and doesn’t sync with iPhone Apple health app. The watch was a gift, so I will continue to wear it, but all it is good for, for me, is telling the time.

Just one complaint. The app is fine. It is the sports watch that bugs me. It often give heart rate readings that are obviously too high (by about 50%) for extended periods. Also it can take up to 5 minutes to warm up some days (and just a few seconds on others).

Map pinch zoom move badly broken. It is almost impossible to pinch zoom in and out and move around on the map. You change zoom or move and then it just zooms out again by itself. Tapping a km section and using the distance bar down the bottom kinda works, but touch that map screen and it zooms out again. Almost impossible to examine zoomed in detail from a run. This doesn’t stop me using the app but boy it’s infuriating. It’s been like this as long as I’ve used the app (July 2017). Note. No change on this issue as at Nov 2019 Reducing to 2 stars. Note. Just saw developer response from Cameron from last complaint. Cameron said “glad to hear you like it”. He obviously did not even read my comment. Speechless. Down to one star for you. Update April 2020. No change to the above. It’s not possible to give zero stars so I guess we’ll have to leave it at one star.

Mmmm, won’t sync for me anymore. Was very good until update, now can’t get watch to sync. Have reinstalled app, reset watch etc.

Great app, disappointing product. Layout of app nice and easy to use. Downfalls are the constant need to update quick gps, lately it’s every other day and even then it won’t do it through the app so I have to run it through the computer. Battery life is woeful too at the moment, needing recharge every 3 days from a 18month old device. I’ve had to do hard resets on the device a few times since purchasing, TomTom really needs to lift their game. Not sure I’ll be replacing it with another tomtom product..

Worst app. Haven’t been able to sync with my phone since end of October. Yes it’s up to date, yes I’ve connected to the computer. Interested to read through the other unhappy costumers and what they upgraded/new watch purchases so I can get away from Tom Tom. Not happy with the $400 I’ve wasted with nothing but issues since the day I got it. Never again

Useless. It only randomly pairs with the watch. Hasn’t synced for almost a week now. I’ve done lots of steps and activities yet it chastises me for not doing exercise. A waste of $$$. And the TIME I’ve spent trying to make it work. Support is useless.

No longer works. The app no longer pairs with my Spark watch!

Good app. This is a great app. Works great and suits me. Particularly for running. For sync you need to keep the phone and watch really close together.

Tom Tom adventurer. Great GPS watch for running and cycling. Measures your heart rate, pace, time, distance

Latest updates make this a brilliant app. I’ve had the sports app for almost a year now, and to be honest didn’t really rate it that much. HOWEVER the latest updates and new features on this app are brilliant. The website, when used alongside the app, adds to its functionality and makes the information easy to understand, fun to engage with and interesting - but the app as a stand alone tool is great. I’ve used Nike Run and Garmin apps in the past, and this is easily up there with them. At the moment I’m mostly using it to track gym classes (spin and treadmill work) so I can comment on how good it is for outdoor running. My only complaint is Tom Tom - please add a category for Yoga and/or Pilates! Overall though very impressed.

Perfect. Thanks TomTom!

Love my stats. I love the way I can still compare my treadmill workout w my outdoor runs. I wish it would sync automatically w my ihealth app though... also if you can make the watches smaller for women, please and thanks!

Great. Love it! Wondering about the heart frequency feature and tracking. Also surprised by the calorie count for my runs. Higher than any other app I have used.

Fréquence cardiaque de ma tomtom watch multi. Complètement nul dans mon cas. Acheté il y an8 mois environ

Easy and Effective. The app is easy to use and gives me all the info I want. I would recommend especially for someone who gets flustered with too many bells and whistles!

Fantastic App. This app has motivated me and helped me see the information I need to get myself into the best shape of my life. A+

Great new app!. I highly recommend this new app

App. Bought new IPhone XR...tomtom gps golf watch no longer communicate...watch can’t connect via bluetooth... hint?

Super. Ludique. C'est motivant de baisser l'âge physiologique .

Frustrating to sync. I love the gps feature for running. It is very accurate and easy to use! But it is so much work to sync it. It gets to around 9 or 13%, then disconnects & closes the app. And I have never been successful in loading music on to the watch. I’ve been using it for 2 years and I’m ready to try another brand.

Too personal. Asks you to provide your full name, date of birth and country. WHY? The only information any sports app needs is height, weight, and age (not birth date).

Awesome. Great update! Works well and provide interesting metrics and displays.

Awesome. Perfect for tracking my habits and runs

Vikram. Nice! Specially the comparison with the last week's performance. It keeps me motivated to surpass that benchmark.

Vraiment pratique. Plus besoin de mon ordinateur pour opérer ma montre! Très bien fait

Marcus. The app is not showing Saturday runs on the weekly summary. The data is still there though.

Gorgeous and very functional. Solid app that slices data all the ways that the better known apps do.

Sync on the go !. Good to have the ability to “Check in” while you out and about. But the issue with not tracking you indoor cycling distance sucks, and the time to sync seems inordinately long.

Won't sync. Used the old version of the app without any issues, but this one doesn't sync with my Tom Tom Runner Cardio.

Sync issues. -It takes 5 minutes to sync a 30 min walk -my old workouts are gone in the app -app is not in sync with the website -website also laggy with refreshing the data Don't you guys test this before you put it in production? I ran version 6 already, not 4 :-)

Crashes. I like the app well enough... but it constantly crashes on me. All software is up to date. And, you can’t zoom in on maps very far.

Good. Bonne application!

Never syncs. Never syncs with my tomtom running watch

Spark w/music. Great app, great gps w/hr watch holds lots of music. Synchs with Nike App well.

Use to love the app. The new updated app with all the silly pics does not appeal to me whatsoever. The old format was metrics oriented which is what serious athletes want to see. Use to love the watch and the app but hate the new version. Can you at the very least make the old version still available. One thing I do like with the new version is the gps update with each sync.

Very good app. This is my second Tom Tom watch. Upgraded my oldest one to the adventurer. Bought a Suunto but broke after just over a year. Very happy about my new watch and the app. Would love to have more sports like XC ski for instance. Also, all my swim sessions are not giving me many stars as the heart rate monitor is not working I guess.

Tom Tom Sports. Excellent app. Convivial, sans fautes, résume bien les infos d’activités. J’adore 😊

Tomtom very good and very helpful. Very good and very helpful for me to keep a good track of my work and activities.

Pretty good app so far. App is straight forward and easy to use ! Use it if you have a tomtom watch. Great watch!

Good tracking only app. The app is user friendly but lacks in features. It seams limited by the linked Bluetooth device It would be great to be able to do interval programmes

Great !. Serving the purpose well, getting better and better through the updates

Excellente application!. Claire et facile à utiliser.

The app wouldn t connect to my watch after the update. Installed the update on my iPhone, then the app wouldn t “sync” with my watch. I had to “forget this device” in the bluetooth manager and pair it again. Everything seems fine now. I haven t seen any difference from the previous version of the app.

Got better. The app is getting better by new updates, it'd be great if it was possible to export data to Apple health.

Love it. Faster than previous version &easier to use

Good but.... Good app. Have been using for just over one year. For some reason I’ve lost my ski summary in the activity page - seemed to disappear after the new year. Then reappeared a few months later. Better watch than most out there given the low cost. Hopefully Tomtom will continue to support app improvements

Great app!. Extremely user friendly, complete and reliable ! Too bad these watch are being discontinued.

Bluetooth connexion finally works!. With the latest version, the quick GPS update function now works flawlessly.

excellent. Un upgrade superbe, j'aime surtout la fonction de faire défiler sur les graphs, qui existée déjà aux autres apps similaires. J'aimerai voir l'option de "playlist listened to" pendant une course, afin de le partagé en ligne.

Does not sync with Spark 3 Fitness Watch. Apparently it's a known issue so if you need to sync workouts, you have to hook it up to your computer. Annoying as I didn't have issues with the previous app when I wanted to sync it to my iPhone or iPad.

Awesome. Works flawlessly Please add a log for shoe mileage

Unable to sync activities. I keep getting part-way through the synch and then it stops, saying “unable to sync activities”. Frustrating - otherwise, the watch works OK. Takes a long time to find the GPS sometimes, which delays my workout.

Good app. I have my second tomtom sport watch. For reasonable money they give you all you need. The app is neat. Sometimes there is a problem with satellites detection, not often.

Solid and reliable. A year ago my 2 year old watch failed. Tom Tom fully replaced it, without hesitation. Simple functionality easy links to Bluetooth. I like see how my runs averages compare to other men my age. Links seamlessly to Runkeeper, which I have used since my 1st run.

Works great!. Easy to use and works great. Would like to see some on the online options on the phone app. Otherwise, it has really helped me setting goals and motivations.

Tres bien. Jaime lapp et jadore ma montre !!!;))

A bit limited. But that may be my watch. Overall more accurate than Apple Watch for HR 💙 function and more user friendly than garmin.

Tom tom app. Facile et claire, je recommande

Stopped working. One day it stopped connecting to my iPhone. I have a 7 with the latest upgrade. It hasn’t worked for 6 months+ the App support is horrible it keeps sending me in a loop back to Apple or TomToms page that offers the same information but no solution. I get to the point when I pair the watch to the app and it never recognizes the PIN number so I can’t get passed it. I need help and have no idea how to get it.

Phone won’t sync to my watch. I have tried everything possible to sync my phone to the app and it doesn’t work!!!! This is very frustrating. Please hurry up and fix this problem. Love the watch otherwise!!!!!

Syncing Woes too. I’m having exact same syncing issues as Femmephily. So frustrating!! I’ve even rest watch to factory mode but not syncing with app. Very frustrating. I’ve lost all my data for last few months. Sigh!! 😔

Very solid, reliable app!. I have my Tom Tom runner watch (from 2014) syncing via with this app also to strava, Nike Run club (RIP Nike+), and Map My Fitness and it works great.

Syncing TOM TOM To fitness watch. When I finished syncing my fitness watch to this app, the information either didn’t update or is very much wrong!!!!!

I love my Tomtom. I really like the updates. My watch now receives texts and calls. Tomtom spark was one of my best purchases for fitness to date. Great job! Keep up the good work!

Data not in sync. The calories on cell phone and PC are not in sync with what shows on the watch.

More iTunes Love?. You guys are doing great! I wish you could simply the transferral of music from iTunes. I can’t seem to get it to work.

Can’t change email address and password. Email address and password on the app. Because of this I’m not able to access tom-tom from any other device and unable to link it to my other fitness accounts. Because of this I have to start a whole new account with my tom-tom devices. Years of tom-tom down the drain!

Two oceans half. Have only had my TomTom for little more than a year but is was an excellent training partner in my first ever Two Oceans half marathon this year. Looking forward to many more.

Stop trying to monetize my data!. Even though I have explicitly opted out of there anonymous data sharing program, the app continues to present at the very top in the most prominent card and the option to join this program. Even though I have dismissed this card 100 times it continues to present itself every time I use the app.

Be able to merge. Could be nice to be able to merge two or more runs

Missing a feature. Maybe I'm missing something. When I run intervals, I don't see my actual split times on the app. Only my mile-pace. Developer, please let me know if that feature is available and I just can't find it. Developer! Please read!

Sync issue. Hey. Watch is great but syncing has been an issue for some time. Can’t recall when it started but could be with iOS 11. Please fix it. Bluetooth is on, my iPhone says it’s connected, watch shows connection icon but app says Bluetooth is off on phone..

Best running app. Have been using this app for years now, no issues, great for tracking pace/splits per mile/elevation/progress

Phone won’t connect to app after update.. I just updated my Watch and it won’t connect to my phone. When I am prompted to pair , the watch goes back to pair new phone and the app stays at connecting. It doesn’t give me the option to enter the pin. The watch won’t connect to my phone. Please fix it.

Still Great!. Lost my new watch and went back to an ancient TomTom. The app still works and the GPS is fast. So glad someone is continuing to update the servers. Great job!

Great data; poor connectivity. The layout and metrics are great and there are a variety of capabilities for tracking exercise and progress. But, ultimately, my watch rarely connects via Bluetooth when I open the app, it has stopped receiving message notifications for texts, and consistently has errors connecting via hardline to my computer.

User friendly. I love this app. I love the stats it gives and goals you can set. I am run for fun and personal bests kind of runner. I like that it ranks your fastest runs.

Great.. I love the app. There was a few problems where it had taken a while, but it fixed its self. Other then that, I love the app and the watch.

Race Mode Error. Race Mode finishes when either the time is completed OR when the distance is completed, whichever comes first. How totally crazy it that ? The race can ONLY be finished once the distance is reached ..... end of story.

Sync not working. My watch and phone are unable to sync.

Notifications. Great but wish could get emails too

Great for runners. Easy to read, fast, and helpful for training. Couldn't ask for more.

Great App. Used Tomtom for close to 5 years now. The app only gets better. Will like to know the Men my age sample size. How many men my age are using the app? That will create some context. Otherwise great app. Highly recommended

Great watch! Love running without my phone!. Love the watch and app! Would like for Tom Tom and Nike to get together to allow dat transfer to the Nike Run app. The Heart Rate function is hard to figure out as well.

Happy with It!. Seamless. Improving workouts fast. Easy tracking of my activities

Tomtom sports app. I have the tomtom spark 3, it’s amazing but it does bug me a little when the app sinks up with the watch and the number of steps is off even by a little

Fun, easy to use, lots of useful details. For a novice in this area of fitness watches and tracking programs, I'm enjoying this a lot.

Great app!. Wish they would keep updating it. Very useful information. I’d also like a rollerblade activity type. For now I just use freestyle.

Constant sync problems. I have constantly had issues syncing data from my watch with this app. I've had both for over two years, and the issues have gotten so bad that the app literally doesn't sync any data anymore. I now have to plug my watch onto my computer to get the data.

Quality App. It gets the job done... that’s good enough for me. The accessibility and simple view of statistics and data is quite good and accurate.

Swimming credit. I’m both a gym rat and a swimmer. I wish the app gave me some credit for all of the swimming that I do during the week. Also the Spark 3 is not particularly accurate at keeping track of swim laps.

Apparently does not work with apple products. I downloaded this app in order to sync my workout information with my health insurance website. I use an Apple Watch, and my workouts are tracked by both the Activity and Health apps, but they don’t sync with my insurance. I set up this app to sync with the Apple Health app, but all it tracks is my steps.

A gift I finally used. My wife got this for a gift for me over 2 years ago and I finally took it out the book and it is amazing!!

The app no longer syncs. Since the update to the Spark 3, and the updated app, the watch and app no longer sync. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, turning the watch off, resetting the watch...still nothing. Supremely disappointed about this! Please fix it!

Syncing problems. My watch isn’t syncing with my phone or the computer. It gives me a error message. I tried everything even talking to the support staff. Don’t know what it is. It’s making me crazy.

Sub standard compared to others. The app is really clunky and confusing. For tracking your runs, no problem, it’s fine. However all the other stuff (weight tracking, logging, etc) is really subpar. Make it cleaner, synchronized (what is with having multiple inputs of weight? They’re not synchronized!) and better reporting and it would be a great app.

Very nice App and watch. Amazing equipment for exercise, however the strap is made using very bad quality products, I change it several times and expend more money than the watch itself

Can’t sync with my watch. I just updated to the latest version and I can’t connect my watch to the app it shows up but whenever I click on it it goes back to the menu page on my watch.

App is good. The app is really good with plenty of data for someone like me. I swim 2-3 times a week and run a few times a month. The lap counter is accurate and I like the data that shows SWOLF and pool length time.

Great tracker, poor sharing functionality.. Please improve the share function, additional options, more personalization. I’d lie to share my workouts with my fitness community but your current format is way too clunky. Fix this and you’re gold!

Works great but interface needs work. Works fine but interface has way too many features and is cluttered af right now. Simple is better! Things like fitness age seem meaningless but take up huge amounts of space on the home screen.

Very useful app, but please adapt to iPad screen!!!. Dear devs, thanks for this app. I’ve used it on mulTiple phones, and recently on iPad Air 3, but the app doesn’t size to the screen and neither do the fonts etc..please make it more iPad friendly !!! Thanks!!

TomTom Sports Watch. I have had the watch for a few years and I love it except for the time data. I am 68 years old and I walk slowly with my dog and let her stop and sniff when she wants. I do not want to know active time. I want to also have total time. Please add that to the app or tell me if I am doing something wrong. Thanks.

Like it. Easy to use. I like the visual layout and how the app compares me to people of my age. Only draw back is once I get comfortable, the product changes and sometimes we would Iike to repurchase the original. Old fashioned I guess. I would recommend this product.

Continues to improve, and needs to. It couldn’t sync with my phone any slower...and yes, I have all the updates and have done all the troubleshooting

Good basics. Good basic app, but more customization of features on the watch (faces, fonts, pacing alarms, distance alarms, etc) would be beneficial to be competitive.

This goes to Nike TOMTOM as a whole. I really wish that you didn’t have to have the app to figure out your splits, and different things that the app has. But the app is pretty great itself. It’s got a good layout and as a whole is really great.

Handy app.... This app makes it very easy and quick to review one's exercise performance.
