The Very Best Remote App. Believe me, I’ve tried them all, with a view to achieving simple two-way remote control between Macs, PCs, and tablets of all kinds. I can’t speak for Androids and the like, but for iOS AnyDesk is perfect and amazingly easy to use. If I had a professional need, I’d subscribe immediately. For my personal environment of four Macs, two PCs, and an equal number of iPads and iPhones, this app is perfect to monitor and control one computer while doing something different somewhere else on a different device.

BE CAREFUL (READ REVIEW BEFORE DOWNLOADING). I tried to call apple support so of course I googled the number and the first one that popped is the one I called however this was a complete mistake the guy asked me to download this app eventually he kept asking me login into my bank so that he can verify that it’s me so I instantly got suspicious luckily I didn’t but all I did was kept clicking on both bank apps but never revealing any information so I guess the dude got irritated and just hung up the phone when I said I was getting anything from him I honestly think I’m ok but please be careful when you do these type of things I honestly don’t recommend this app for that specific reason I hope all of you who have been in the same situation as me don’t give out any information.

DON’T USE!!!!!!!. While using my desktop computer something popped up saying that my computer was infected and I should call the customer service number on the screen. I did and the lady had me to download this app, saying that she had to look into my phone which was connected to my network. I did but gotten suspicious when she wanted me to login and check my bank accounts to see if the hackers had gotten into to my account. The “pop-up” had only occurred on my desktop…so I’m thinking what does the hack on my computer have to do with my phone. I acted like I was checking my account and she told me that while remotely in my phone that she couldn’t see what was going on but had known that I didn’t check my bank account but checked my network account. That’s when I knew something was not right, basically this was a scam!!!!! I contacted Microsoft and they said they had no knowledge of a call to them about my computer!!!!!!

Scammers use this. Be aware make sure you don’t download this on the advice of a number you called on a pop up ad.. the entire time I just knew something wasn’t right. Thank god I disconnected because once he realized I downloaded it onto a device that had 0 info he was trying to get me to download it on my phone.. I kept asking him if this was a scam or proof it wasn’t because I just knew deep down it was. But the kids ran in with our lap top blaring virus and it just seemed so legit at first. I kinda applaud them because even with everything I know the almost got me. Just be careful under what circumstances you use the app..

Don’t listen to scam preaching, but app has a very real dificiency!. The reviewers here complaining about scams should not blame the app. This app is no more susceptible to scams than any other remote access app. If you provide your credentials to scammers to gain access to your device, regardless of the app, you will be susceptible to scams. Protect your devices and yourself! Now the biggest complaint; if you allow AnyDesk to go to background it will notify you of a pending disconnect in 5 seconds. This limitation makes the app of limited value for those who have it to help others. i.e. friends or relatives. Please address this big limitation in the IOS version of this fine app!

Scammers galore. Have been spam called for the past several hours and finally answered and was told it was about someone trying to hack my Apple ID. They told me to get on my computer and when I told them I don’t have an Apple computer they said they meant iPhone. Was already a suspicious going in but it kept going up. Then they asked me to download this app which was very odd to me and were very insistent even when I was asking why. Then some address numbers came up that they asked me to read to them and I immediately hung up and contacted actual Apple to confirm if this was a scam. Even though at that point I knew. Not sure what they can do with those numbers but I do not trust it in the slightest

SCAMMER’S PARADISE. I, too, almost got scammed by foreigners pretending to be Xfinity employees. I should have realized that I call them; they don’t call me. I was told that my modem had been hacked. I, too, was told to download this app on my phone and my computer. I realized that it was a scammer when he asked if my bank account was connected to my cashapp. But what’s so crazy is, the week before, I had got an alert that flashed across my phone saying, “your phone has been hacked. Download lighthouse to “safe” your data.” Please be advised that HACKERS/SCAMMERS HAVE THE SAME ACCESS TO THESE APPS REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY LIVE. I ended up calling Xfinity and contacted their corporate office to let them know that their number/ employee is using their number to scam people/customers. Do Not Use This App If Someone Calls You Out Of The Blue.

GrREAT TO BAD. I think this technology is absolutely wonderful. However, it’s horrible for the older generation who is not so technology savvy. Several times I have been called and they are helping me with some fraudulent purchases. And then they transfer me to someone who is going to help get my money back and they want to download this app on my device so they can help me. I came real close to doing it but something in my gut said no no no no!! it is so sad that these people use wonderful technology for evil evil deeds. imagine what they could do in the world of technology that would be better. What a waste of brain power these people have. it would be wonderful if the companies were able to trace these people that are making a bad name for a good product. 👆👆👆. this happened to me now! never download this app, never allow them to access your phone. you will be the dust of fraud. holding them in a tough question made them realize that they were originally fraudsters. my purpose in talking to them was completely different they just wanted me to access my phone. they talked to each other as if they were helping us. the fact that my purpose was different made it impossible for them to access my phone. Alhamdulillah. I got in here as soon as I lost touch with them. I hurried to read the comments in the app and I am sure that after seeing the comments, many people from this app have been victims of fraud. Be careful, my friends

Whew! Long story! A RAT. So — I remember I was being fully lazy and wanted to use my phone as a mouse for my PC. I already have a functioning Remote Desktop setup, but I got a bit greedy. Anyway, not long after downloading this app, I noticed my laptop would randomly just be shut off. It’s certainly gone to sleep before with the lid closed, but not been completely off. This happened two times. I believe that was the test of connection. Week or so later, I woke up one night with my laptop on the side of me, and I got up JUST in time to catch my mouse moving around my screen. I watched as they navigated slowly around my PC. It felt like a dream, but I stood by furiously watching. They for whatever reason searched Google voice and were in my Google voice account. They then headed towards trying to log into my crypto account (which, they would have been disappointed at the time, lol) I powered down my modem and wiped my drive after, but man…just leave this a app alone.

BEWARE!!!. This is an app for scammers!!! I called a number that said Apple support. It wasn’t and I should have known because Apple isn’t so easy to reach. You have to go through the website and schedule a call from THEM! Still, I believed they were the real deal and maybe Apple had made it easier. The first thing they had me do is download this dangerous app. As the conversation went on, I was getting more and more uncomfortable with all the things they were asking me to do and then I finally realized these were scammers!! I got in touch with the REAL Apple support, and the first thing they had me do was delete this dangerous app! Then they had me change my phone unlock passcode and Apple ID password.. I’ve been changing passwords for the past 5 hours! Will go to bank first thing in AM as there are two pending transactions that say ‘wyre’ but with no amounts. This has been an absolute nightmare and this app should NOT be made available to just anyone!! Shame on you!

Gets the job done. A few disconnects but gets the job done. All of you people that whine about being scammed, you don't blame a hammer company because the burglar used a hammer to break into your house furthermore with your consent. Have some common sense, if a company contacts you, you can always verify it by contacting them personally through their respective websites and not just cooporate with everyone that sends you a sketchy message. You either have a brain up there or just a wire keeping your ears in place.

I do believe I was scammed. Trying to access my fb called a number he had me to install this app pretty sure that was my first mistake then he had me to set up a cash app my second mistake luckily I used a card that only has a couple bucks in so hopefully they don’t screw me on anything else btw the reason he wanted me to set up a cash app because whoever hacked me was and still is sending out wanting money through my messenger with cash app fb has absolutely been no help at all the number I called was supposed to be fb number oh back to square one and done with social media just hope installing this app didn’t hack all my personal stuff, yes I’m a dummy for doing this should of non better.

Beware of scammers. I almost got scammed by someone claiming they were calling me back from Apple costumer support. I googled Apple costumer support and dialed the first number that appeared but got no answer so I went to the official website of apple costumer support and managed to get the proper help and after I was done with the call I got a called back for this guy claiming they were calling me from apple costumer support and everything seemed off from the beginning but he managed to get me to the point of searching for this app. BE CAREFUL for what you downloading this app for! I immediately hanged up the call after reading the reviews.

WARNING!!!. I recently received a scam email. It looked exactly like it was from Lifelock. The “agent “ told me that the charges were bogus. She explained that she would need access to my phone and wanted me to download this app so that they could cancel the bogus charges. This would have given her access to everything on my phone. At this point, I realized it was a scam. This app and others like it can allow scammers to access your personal information and steal everything you have. The moral of the story is that you never give anyone access to your phone or computer.

SOMEONE IS TRYING TO HACK YOU. This app is 100% a scam. It’s sole use is for a hacker to trick you to allow them to remotely take over control of your phone and steal your financial information. If a telemarketer or someone claiming to be customer service asks you to download this, they are trying to steal from you. No trustworthy company will EVER ask you to do something like this. They are pretending to be from PayPal, Etsy, Netflix, HBO Max, etc. Please hang up the phone and block them. The featured review of this app is LYING. There are ZERO legitimate uses for this app that you couldn’t do with a trustworthy app like iCloud or Google Drive. Every 5-star review comes from new accounts with no other reviews.

Real app - IT WORKS AS INTENDED. It’s a remote control app. Of course you’re giving them access to your device, duh. And for all those people who are leaving 1 star reviews, let me ask you even CHECK the reviews before downloading this supposed “scam” app? No, you didn’t. So don’t leave a 1 star review. You got scammed, and it’s your fault that this “microsoft”/“amazon”/“cash app” indian person who is totally not a scammer just scammed you. For the app, it works great! :D It works as intended, without any weird paywalls. Only issue is holding and dragging with the touchpad controls, and it doesn’t support custom cursors as every time you move your mouse, it would invert the mouse hue every second frame. And it’s only 60 fps for the mouse. No big deal, and this isn’t supposed to be a bug report as this is a review, but I’d figured that I’d still leave it here since I’m too lazy to go on their website. Anyway, please rate the app based on IF IT WORKED OR NOT, not “oh no i got scammed 😭😭😭”. Stop it. It’s cringe. Get some help.

Gets the job done. The following applies to both this app and the computer software that is necessary to have on a respective system. If you are doing some light work it’s great. But don’t expect to to much besides the normal word, docs, chrome stuff. If you are, for example but applies to other situations, playing a video game, the mouse will not go away to give you 360 movement like fps games. You will be restricted to how far the mouse moves on screen and thus cannot look around in game. This also affects tools like Blender for 3d creation as the strange mouse system affects looking around there too. Parsec seems to be the best free Remote Desktop as it does nearly everything save for it being a little inconsistent. Because of this I like to keep anydesk and parsec running in the background so if parsec stops working, I am not completely unable to use my computer anymore.

Inconsistent. This app randomly closes the connection for no reason sometimes with the error “result_quit”. Even when I’m literally clicking something with the app open. And then for some reason if you tab out it closes the connection after 5 seconds of inactivity. 5 whole seconds. It makes multitasking, ie checking information on your phone versus that on your PC, an absolute nightmare. And I have found nowhere to stop this from happening. I also don’t like that there’s no quick copy and paste buttons.

Scammed. I realize this is a remote app to assist users with desktop and IPhone issues but there should be a WARNING LABEL on the app stating to user to be sure that they are speaking with legitimate customer service representative before they allow them access into their devices especially where they have access to their checking and savings accounts. I thought I was speaking to a Venmo representative who was assisting me with a duplicate transaction and he was a scammer who got access to my checking account an scam me out of $3000. Please put an ALERT on the app letting people know to be carful when allowing external people into your personal accounts, I don’t want someone else to live through this nightmare. Thank you

Great app but i have a question.. Hello, Im sure the app works fine but (by my own fault only) I for a couple of seconds gave access to a Ticketmaster scammer. I’m sure the app works great and for IT purposes its very useful but I just wanted to ask the question if once I uninstall the app all people who I gave access to still have access to my phone. It was only active for like 4 seconds and quickly i got off the phone and uninstalled it and changed my passwords. I just want to know if theres something else I need to do or if I am safe now. From what I have read online once you uninstall the app your good and no access should be granted. Again great app i just wanted a confirmation on this

Almost got scammed. This app is so good that the Indian scammers use it to rob you of your hard earned money. I tried making a purchase on a website and my card was declined, it gave me a notification my card was deactivated and I googled my banks costumer service number and it connected me directly to the scammers line, the guy on the phone wanted me to download this app, it made no sense and I kept asking him why did he need access to my phone when all he had to do was unlock my card and he was PERSISTENT. I ended the call and he called me trying to get me to download it again. They are getting too advanced with their trifling ways. Beware.

Almost got scammed by a Scammer NOT THE APP. I almost got scammed by a scammer claiming to be calling from eBay. I had some issues regarding the payment on eBay and did a search on google for eBay customer service phone number (this was a big mistake). This search sent me directly to a scammer. I now know the only way to contact eBay is to request a call and they will call you, they don’t provide a customer service phone number. The scammer told me in order to get my payment back from eBay, I have to fill out an application using this app. It was suspicious and I ended the call. So, the app is not a scam, but scammers will use this app to get a complete control of your phone and steal your info. I don’t actually know exactly how this app works but this was my encounter and I just want to share with people to be aware!

SCAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM. If you are in a situation that requires you to download this app, RUN!!! I downloaded this app and was scammed out of my money that I needed for a personal emergency. I was lucky and grateful for the lady that helped me to get a dispute and to get my funds returned to me. But I recommend highly to delete this app and restarting/shutting down your devices to fully be sure that the scammers are NOT in control of your devices. I also recommend writing a review on the BBB website as well. I learned the hard way and not only have I deleted this app, but within the next few days, I will also be deactivating the app that my needed funds are in once it has been used for its true purpose.

I had fraudulent charges on my cash app. I called a phone number and they answered weird and I asked if it was cash app and he was like yeah what can I help you with. They would put me on hold and act like they were transferring me to different departments. They asked me what kind of phone I was using the app on and if my cash app was attached to my back account. Then they asked me what my balance on my cash app was. I was thinking something was not right here. So then they told me to download this app so I could file a claim. I was about to go off because I should not have to download a app to dispute charges. Anyways when I went to this app I saw a review that said do not download and scam. When I read what the app was I hung up. They blew my phone up I had to block them. They were trying to get access to my phone. This is crazy they allow these types of app this crap needs to be take off the App Store. Stay away!!!! No

Hackers Used this to steal money from my bank account. My computer went haywire Thursday morning. I went to a link for Geek Squad (which turned out to be fraudulent) in order to get remote repairs. Instead, the hackers took total control of my computer and tried to get money from my bank accounts. They succeeded with one but were blocked by another bank. I didn’t receive alert texts or emails from either bank, as the hackers blocked me from receiving them. Because I contacted them, I assumed they were legitimate and didn’t realize what happened until that evening. I hope I succeeded in canceling the wire transfer. Now all my bank accounts, debit cards, etc. are frozen. A local repair shop wasn’t able to remove Any Desk from my computer. They can’t do any repairs. They will have to do a factory reset. DON’T use this app!

Only good for very brief sessions. I’m trying to perfect a laptop-free workflow by using my iPad and remote desktop apps instead for when I need portable access to a Mac. Unfortunately AnyDesk is not it. Even though it supports tracking of the native iPad cursor for use with your Mac, you have to perform the bizarre action of double clicking in order to single click. It would almost be forgivable if it worked consistently, but unfortunately it often didn’t register at all and when it did, it acted like a double click. this made accessing menus and ticking checkboxes an absolute act of torture. A simple task that would have taken about 30 minutes if I had been able to click like normal instead took 2 hours, with most of that time trying to click on a checkbox/menu without also clicking out of it. If you just need to scroll and click occasionally, this is the app for you. If you have any heavy-duty productivity apps you’ll need to use, do not download this app.

Do not download SCAMMER USE THIS. I thought I was calling apple support because it was the first google number that came up and all I could see on the https: address was apple support. The individual who answered told me to download this app. He then instructed me to go to my setting “keep scrolling” multiple times. Said my cards were being used in NJ and PA for bitcoin and I needed to check all my accounts. Only when I said this is a business phone did he hang up. I then realized after the abrupt hang up that this was a scam. Called the real apple support and they helped me secure all my sites. It took resetting my entire phone and a 1/2 a day to correct. I was told that scammer are paying google to have their sites come before well known company’s so people click on that. I thought a sponsored site meant Google sponsors them not they paid for that place in the search.

People are gullible, not this app creators fault!. I can’t believe the many low scores for this app based purely on people being not very bright, downloading this app on the behest of a scammer trying to access their devices. You do have to use your brain when you’re on the Internet. It is totally unfair to leave these bad reviews, when you’re the idiot who fell for a scam. Maybe you should not click on an email coming from a rich Nigerian prince either who wants to give you all his money because he’s terminally ill. Just a suggestion. I downloaded the app, haven’t had a lot of time playing with it. Just noticing that my iPad is not very responsive when I try to work on my connected Windows machine. But I will research that, before I leave a nasty review. Had to get this off my chest first and will give this app 5 stars just to make up for one of these unfair reviews.

Was almost scammed. I was recently scammed for over 400$ through chase and when chase didn’t do anything i went to Zelle. I thought I called the Zelle support team but when they asked me to go into chase Face ID helped me out with not giving away the password, and cash app I only showed them the transactions. Then they asked to see my capital one and Face ID did the same thing thank god for apple technology do NOT download this to show someone else your info, he hung up once he saw chase was negative, cash app was 0.00 and cap one was also 0.00. I called back and it was his personal phone and when I told him who I was he said wait for a call back and I never received one.

Scammed. This app was used to gain full access/control over my phone. The guy told me that he was from Cash App because I had a unauthorized charge. He took a picture of me and said it was to verify my identity, he was a scammer he got into my phone and now has full access to my address financing information and anything everything else on my phone. he I had to shut down my bank account and close my debit card and I had to get a whole new phone be careful when using this app. I’m scared for my life now also had to make a report of the sheriffs department.

Do not download!!. Please do not download this app!! I might have been a victim of a scam recently. I admit it was foolish on my part to download this app that allowed someone I didn’t know access to my phone. However, I strongly believe the company behind this app should implement controls or extra layers of security that prevent or deter scammers from using this app. Why else is this app so popular among scammers?! Simply stating that the company is not affiliated with scammers or warning people of scams is not enough. Shouldn’t companies come up with products that are safe and effective? I might agree with the effectiveness of this app, but cannot say the same for its safety.

I just had a fake PayPal try to use this app on me. I had recently received a PayPal email saying I had purchased a phone from a different state l, I called the number on the email and the apparent pay pal guy said I needed to download this app in order for me to cancel the order. As soon as I said I don’t feel comfortable using the app he hung up the phone I knew it was a scam people please beware there are ton of scammers out there pretending to be real companies trying to screw you over

It works. It works like a charm. But I’m an idiot and got scammed by a supposed PayPal fraud desk. Out money and hard lesson learned. I was used to using a remote in app app from work so I never questioned the authenticity of using the app. I also called the number back and was told it was PayPal. The problem was the instructions I was given and followed. Heads-up: For the record PayPal handles things like this kind of issue online not by phone as I found out this morning. Again the app is better than what I used at work. Amazing.

Caution. Although this is said to be safe if downloaded through the Apple store it is being used by scammers. They down load it piggy back on something else modified to suit their purposes. It showed up on my phone without my knowledge. Their purpose is of course to take over your computer. This is such a big problem in India it’s even made their national TV news. This is where the scammers are operating out of. Be careful do not fall for things that might seem ok. These scammers are very good. They got to me through Apple security. Even though I did the normal checks they had thought of everything to make them look legitimate. I have now installed on my phone a security program by a company who’s been around for a long while.

Scams aren’t the app’s fault. This app is genuinely not a scam. Reading through the comments, most of the negative comments seem to be from victims of scams. If you are one of them, it is not the developers nor the companies liability to reimburse what another unaffiliated company took. Personally, this app makes connections very convenient for me so I just felt it was unjustified how many of the negative comments weren’t actually the companies fault

To Customer Service. I received a call, with someone indicating that they were from Etsy support. And we’re calling me back about my inquiry. However the original number I dialed was no longer in service for Etsy and the gentleman who I spoke with on the phone asked me to download your application to send a partial Refund to my client. From what I have read online your team is not affiliated with Etsy. And I just wanted to let you guys know thank you

Victim of a scam. I was the victim of a scam yesterday. I really thought I had a fraudulent charge and that this associate was here to help. Downloaded the app and gave them access to my phone. It wasn’t until 5 minutes later that I felt uncomfortable and disconnected the call. I uninstalled the app and changed my passwords, but who knows what they already accessed. I spent a day panicking and woke up today with anxiety. This app should not be available for download!!! I know I’m naive, but this is such an unfortunate situation to be in. I hope they remove this app even if it can save just one future person’s misery If you are a victim of scam, I encourage you to do a phone factory reset, change all your passwords from a different device, and put a freeze on credit reports. I’m also getting a new sim because I believe that they are cloning my phone number to make calls.

BE CAUTIOUS OF SCAMMERS. This app is great. It works as intended, but unfortunately, it can be used with malicious intent. I think it’s important that the UI of this app provide some messaging to try and discourage easily victimized users from giving scammers access to their phone. Warning messages that indicate caution when sharing your address would be a great initial step. Additional messaging on the app Home Screen stating something similar to the above would also be an improvement to help curb scammers using this app maliciously. Lastly, Apple itself could have some indicators in the App Store about how this app can be used maliciously.

Outstanding remote control app. Having been a network admins for almost two decades, had a lot of experience providing remote support. Used MSTSC, Dameware, VNC and others in an enterprise environment. This app is way faster and very easy to use and setup. A friend of one of the developers told me about this app when it was in beta years ago, and even the early versions worked well. I've used it on Windows and macOS and iOS with equal success. Ignore reviews complaining of being scammed, AnyDesk is not liable for the naive who take orders from strangers. I'd also question any review questioning ease of use. If you aren't tech savvy enough to use AnyDesk, you shouldn't be using remote control apps.

Have a question. I have a question I had a high dollar amount say got charged from my PayPal account there was a number I said it wasn’t me so the said I was hacked and they to me to download this app I did and I gave them the 9 digit number and they said press broadcast so I did and they said go open up you checking account to see if anything says pending and I did and then they said open my cash app and said press the 100 dollars and answer the questions so they can see if it was me but it wouldn’t register as me so they said they will see what they can take car of on there end what should I do because after reading all these reviews I think I messed up and I just don’t want any problems how can I fix this if they have all my info from my phone like people are saying

Beware of SCAMMERS!. This incident just happened today. I was having problem with my phone. I then did googled for Apple Support and called them. The person on the other line introduced himself as Apple support. I then told him what’s going on with my phone. He then told me that he can check it remotely if I download this App. So I did. Then he said there’s something wrong with my phone and that he’s going to give me credit and I should check on the bank app. which I did again. So, it was too late that I realized I was being scammed! I was very upset with myself to fall to these scammers. I then went to to bank and changed passwords for my bank acct. Emails, Social media. I will go to the authorities tomorrow and report this. I’m sharing my experience so this does happen to anyone. I never thought this could happen to me.

Definitely popular with scammers. I had a false purchase using my PayPal acct. I was uncomfortable but logged in to PayPal on the internet and used one of their numbers. The hacker had me download this app. Then he managed to steal $1000 out of my checking. I was suspicious the entire time. Fortunately my bank caught on but while they tried to call me I was on the phone with the scammer. So the bank froze my access. He was done trying to get money. Told me to call the bank to unlock my acct but NOT to tell them about my calls with him. That definitely sent up a red flag. I told the bank and she said definite scam. Had to freeze my account. Have to go to the bank in the morning. Then to the cell phone carrier to wipe my phone and tablet. So upset I fell for this!! Now a big mess to clean up and hopefully I won’t be out $1000!!!!!

DONT DOWNLOAD IF PAYPAL OR ANY OTHER SERVICE TELLS YOU TO. I almost go scammed today. I called what I thought was the PayPal service number, a man picked up, told me to download this app; which would’ve given him access to my phone. Right when I was about to give him the access I decided to quickly search up the PayPal service number and it did not match. The man then started rushing me to give him the access and started cussing at me. If I wouldn’t have questioned him last minute, I would’ve been scammed and given some stranger full access to my phone. Lesson of the day: Do NOT download this app if PayPal or any other service tells you to - no service should require you to download this app if they are legit. Be careful!

Almost scammed…. I needed help with my Facebook. When I was googling Facebook help with my account, I clicked on what I thought was a service through Facebook. It looked legit. The guy on the other end of the line had me download this app, and when the thing popped up showing that it was going to give access to even my banking information, etc.. I started asking questions he got mad at me because I wasn’t going to allow them to have access. Eventually, he hung up. Just a little note to warn others. All this app may be used by some legit people. Unfortunately, the world isn’t always that way.

Total scam. I was recently locked out of fb by a scammer asking all my friends for money. I called a number I thought was fb and the lady told me she could fix everything. I have to download this app. She said they’d be asking for my debit card number to assure it’s me. When I realized I was being tricked, I asked the lady if she was truly from fb and she hung up. Low score due to the fact that you guys aren’t hearing this and fixing it. I almost go taken with this product. Has your company ever called these numbers to see what’s going on for yourselves? Please. People are being scammed and the scammer are using your product. You’d think that you’d be bothered by that. Do you folks care about us getting robbed and the thieves are giving your business a bad name. Being a business owner myself, I’d be bothered by a tarnished reputation.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS. I see the company tries to come back and say they aren’t associated with the other scammers using their app but I don’t believe it AT ALL. I received a very realistic email from PayPal saying I was going to be charged $800 and to call a number if it’s fraud. The phone number was NOT associated with PayPal, but AnyDesk. AnyDesk begs you to download their app, runs you around in circles to not answer questions, and asks you to insert your payment information to the app (for protection and security LOL). Now, tell me why a scammer would want you to send money directly to the app… It’s because either the app is a scam or people working for them are. Total lies. My PayPal was 100% fine and no tried to charge anything.

GOT SCAMMED THROUGH THIS APP.. My review is not for the app per se because I am not a computer or technology savvy but I hope my experience can help somebody out there. This app can be used to scam people who like me are naive enough to fall for this type of things. I have made a purchase which resulted to be fraudulent so I contacted the number for PayPal I found on line. The bastard who tried to “help” me made me download this app through which he had full access to my bank accounts and now has scammed me for a lot of money. BE AWARE!!! I am victim. I had scammed by a scammer via any desk app these days and my bank account money had been stolen. Unable to accept connections.. This would get 5 stars as sending remote control requests to my laptop works perfectly and is very easy to use but anytime I try to remote control my iPhone from my laptop I get a security warning which I got the two bubbles to accept and not show again; however it does not allow me to click the accept button. I hit it over and over again and nothing happens until I either close the app or hit either deny or deny and report. Please advise how to fix this or address it in future update. I have an iOS 16.4 iPhone 12 mini.

Scammers. Scammers use this app to access phones, etc. Although you need to enable the link once they’ve established you have the app, it shares everything on that device and others if they are linked.

Awesome app works perfect. Best app for remote monitoring. I’m using on my iPhone and i[ad. It’s easier on ipad because bigger screen but works on iPhone perfect. It’s just so easyand I love it! A lot of tasks pending are not anymore the case. Things are getting done quicker no need to set reminders until I’m in front of my computer.

Disconnect all the time. I downloaded this App to help my parents with their devices and this has proven to be nothing short of a nightmare and full of frustration. We successfully established a connection but repeatedly the App just disconnects. I realise it’s a free App but I never expected the performance to be so dismal. After about 30 seconds the App disconnects. I’d rather the developer be honest and just state, we want your money for and adequate service so please subscribe! Just got a call from “Telstra” saying stuff about internet being compromised about people accessing my ip address and downloading this very app would solve the issue. Lucky I always read the reviews and seen it’s a scam or else would have been pretty gullible to continue following what she was instructing me to do.

Scam alert!. I received a call today claiming to be someone representing Prime regarding my account. They told me that I would be charged $99 tomorrow to continue and so naturally I said that I wish to cancel my subscription. They directed me to this app and when I queue why I would give them remote access to my iPhone, the guy had all sorts of rubbish excuses. Needless to say I terminated the call.

Easiest remote app except.... On my iPad it spams the L button so I can’t type easy without having to go back and delete all the extra l’s that the app adds. Please fix! Doesn’t do it on the desktop version.

Scammers. I got a call today that my account subscription is on automatic renewal as I already unsubscribed. I fallen for it. I downloaded this app they asked 9 digit number then ho send something to tick where was written to tick and agree ( that I’m going to give them authority on my phone and bank account). This is tried to hack. Someone scam called me saying I have unauthorized transactions in my bank account and told me to install this and ask me the 9 digit number when opening this app. I was suspicious so, I didn’t tell the number and hung up. It might be helpful for personal use but please be careful don’t share this with anyone you don’t know!

AnyDesk. This app is fantastic, but a huge letdown is I cannot connect though mobile data. I have to have my iPhone connected to wifi, before I can use this app and this is a huge letdown and makes it so unreliable. Very disappointing that this app has huge potential yet this issue lets it down.

Good, Needs Display + Mouse Features. Great app (especially on PC/Mac), extremely fast and fluid Remote Desktop. However it is missing a couple of key features on iOS that make usability for real work difficult: Firstly, the inability to scale the display resolution/stretch to fill the display on a 10.5” or 12.9” iPad Pro means you’re constantly having to pinch to zoom in and out to see and press things. Secondly, a “mouse” mode where you can drag the mouse around the screen (rather than just touch input, like how TeamViewer does it with an option) is sorely missing. This issue is compacted by the first issue above with the display not scaling properly, so it’s hard to press small buttons on the remote machine without first constantly zooming in. A mouse cursor you could drag around like a trackpad would be helpful here in selecting smaller screen elements. Other than that, good app!

Soon after, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the same company. The operator instructed me to download an app, which they said was their home app. It is crucial to note that if a stranger contacts you and demands that you owe them money, and in order to cancel the supposed subscription, you must download an app, please do not be deceived. It is most likely a scam, and you should not fall for it.

I got a call by a scam caller claiming to be a Telstra employee, with some indian accent, he asked me to download this app.. i did, then he wanted me to give him my address details and a 9 digit address number lol .. i said if you're truly a telstra employee then please send me an email and i’ll reply to you, i asked him: do you have my email address? He said of course .. then he hung up on me haha they are joke .. be careful everyone and don't trust just anyone. Too many scammers

App won't connect most of the time. Very happy with the desktop product. Most of the time I on the iOS app I get a message saying that AnyDesk isn't connected to the server. With many attempts I can usually connect eventually, and once I've connected it seems to be able to reconnect consistently, but there seems to be no logic to the randomness of whether it will connect. Doesn't appear to be just waiting a specific period of time.

Worst app. This app was used to steal money from my account. I got a call telling me I have someone attempting to access my account and I need to download this app, and it was hell from there.

BEWARE USED BY SCAMMERS. I just had someone call from a bank and told me to download this app and then tried to take control of my phone. Seemed it could work (so the app works) but people directed to this app need to be very cautious they know who they are giving their details to.

Outstanding free remote desktop form iphone. Anydesk have addressed key past issues with this app, and it is now my favorite remote access app. Free, fast and easy. Mouse accuracy is great with iphone. I would love to have an address book however but i think that’s a paid feature. anyway, i’m very happy with it.

Intrusive. A criminal used this app pretending to be a Telco technician. Yes I know the developer is not the crook in this example. Stole my account numbers! Partly my fault as I believed this professional hacker. Download this app at your own peril and know that the other person is seeing what you see like your accounts. It is also an app for honest normal people but used by others especially crooks. I wish I had never downloaded it.

Useless on iPhone 12. Cannot connect to network on cellular even with a reinstall, restart, and network configuration. Please update soon! And yes my settings are correct for cellular permission.

Scammer. Just had phone call supposedly from eBay saying a purchase had been made and checking veracity. He asked me to accept AnyDesk so he could send me a form to process refund. Fortunately I did not accept after I saw AnyDesk warning. Thank you AnyDesk.

Scam DO NOT OPEN. I was scammed all the money from my bank account as the scammer put this app on my phone. So when I was using my NetBank they got in and took all of my money. And the CBA WILL NOT REFUND ME THIS MONEY AS THEY SAY IT WAS MY FAULT I HAD NO IDEA THAT THIS WAS PUT ON MY PHONE.

Still no keyboard on iPhone???. Why is there still no keyboard on iPhone, yet an option to enable auto keyboard. Makes it pretty difficult to function without one! The keyboard appeared for a while, but the latest release has dropped it off again.

They wanted to hack my phone and get access to all my details on my phone. Don’t fall for this guys. Desktop sharing is great but.... It’s all a great app, but the one thing missing before I delete my current Remote Desktop app is a mouse control, like teamviewer / VNC viewer. If this can be implemented then it would be perfect

Stop Complaining. Just felt I needed to reiterate that I use AnyDesk over and above anything else and is perfectly safe. Their reputation for being deployed by scammers to all the naive morons you see complaining here is not AnyDesk’s problem. Stop taking candy from strangers and/or believing everything you see and hear and then blame AnyDesk for all your problems because you are tarnishing a good application to the benefit of the real crooks, TeamViewer. Just admit you got sucked in. AnyDesk doesn’t make broad assumptions about my usage and then cut me off like TeamViewer. I have eight computers and counting. All of them are mine for my own personal use and AnyDesk doesn’t question my usage. I would gladly pay for this service if their pricing was geared towards personal users with one session per computer at a time.

Yeah it’s great.. when it works.. About 90% of the time it won’t connect, for no reason. A reboot of the pc usually does the trick, it will work once and then not work again until i restart pc again. This app needs some serious stabilization work.

Good for a first release. Great to see anydesk available now for iOS. It would be even better if it was available for iOS 9 so I could run it on my iPad 3 :-) I would recommend that a "virtual mouse" option be added so that you could see the mouse pointer on the screen and then move it by using the screen like a touchpad. Many other remote access products have this and it makes remote access sooo much easier. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next release.

The gentle Asked me to download THIS anydesk app so he can access my phone, that was when I said that I need to update my credit card information on AppStore- then put me on hold from the 1-888- 502-1258 number then called me from a different number 505-331-0034. He used three different voices when I asked him to transfer me to their supervisors. Used three different names Dave, Alex, Adam…. But clearly they are from India with a very thick Indian accent! Absolutely nothing that sounded like those Christian names!!! BEWARE PEOPLE

Well designed. This is a well designed app. If it happens to be popular amongst scammers it may be because it is powerful and easy to operate. Any remote desktop app can open the door to scammers. Don’t blame the app. Some apps only work with devices on the same LAN. Other apps require you to reconfigure your firewall. Not AnyDesk. If you are already using another app, consider installing this one in parallel as a backup in case your first one fails. My home PC currently will accept an incoming connection via my primary or my backup remote desktop app.

One Way Only. I have the pro, paid version of Anydesk, which works well on any PC. Therefore I assume Apple has made it difficult (don’t they always) to use this as expected. What you get is some sort of stream / broadcast of the screen image…and that’s it.

works with linux. better than teamviewer quick support. still getting to know the software, but linux support alone is worth 4 stars. teamviewer quick support says they support linux connecting to iOS, but it does not work from a browser or their latest available desktop version. this worked on the first time to connect to my iphone. broadcast view only without any control, but i believe that is true of all remote desktop/support apps right now. if their desktop to desktop remote control works as well as this iOS version then it’s time to ditch teamviewer completely!

I just got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon prime and they were trying to get my husband who was talking on the phone with them to download this app in order to cancel our Amazon prime subscription… WE DO NOT EVEN HAVE AMAZON PRIME! he knew it was a scam from the beginning as I said because we don’t even have Amazon prime. They ask me to open any desk app. Processed to help me or make it look it it. Then told me I need to pay for them to get someone to secure my network. Of course I would have to pay that is when the red flag came up. I told them I wasn’t comfortable doing that and would have to discuss it with my husband. Almost perfect. When fully zoomed out during a remote desktop setting, there are small black areas on the right and left, as well as the bottom of the screen. This occurs even when the remote desktop resolution perfectly matches that of the screen it is being viewed from. Having a full screen experience without any gaps on the edges would be ideal.

Please add proper support of External Monitor for iPadOS. When docking an iPad to an External Monitor, everything breaks and Anydesk is simply not usable. It doesnt matter if AnyDesk is on the External Monitor or on the iPad itself, it becomes completely unusable when connected to an External display. If you guys fix this it would make my workflow so much better with my iPad! Please fix this!

Almost got scammed!. I got a call from a person claiming to be from Apple. I had talked withApple the day before and I had problems setting up my new iPhone 14 so I left a call back request. He had me load up this app on my phone and when he started having me go to gift cards I realized it was a scam and hung up. Be aware that spammer are using this app!!

SCAM!!. This app should not be available for download or should have a very low review on the app store so those who are about to get scammed know. My story is similar to everyone else’s. I had an issue with my Facebook account and called ‘Facebook’ to fix it and they told me to download this app and they saw so much information they shouldn’t have. Creepiest experience ever. The guy saw my face through this, all my text messages, banking, like literally so much. Ew Ew Ew please remove this app!!! Or have a WARNING or something! like come on. I didn’t end up getting scammed of money but the guy saw way too much because of this stupid app.

Beware of Scammers. I had an experience with someone claiming to be a supervisor from Cash App. Little did I know cash app will not call anybody. I was requesting a service from what I believed to have been cash app support. I was told to download this app and was ripped off out of my cash app account. Long story short this is an ideal scammer tool!! Stay away from this app. Shame on any developer that has not been upfront with it’s users for not letting us know exactly what could happen when this app is used! At the very least a CAUTION OF HOW THIS APP WORKS WELL WITH SCAMS!!! Enough said!

Talk about giving this App a bad rep.. Regardless of this being a free app. Unfortunately for some it did come at a price. The whole scammed victim giving a shout out is nice and all. But this isn't the place to wine about our mistakes. Either we review this app 5 stars. After all, it's obvious it did serve its purpose. No joke. Review the app. Not the irrelevant theft experience which only spreads the wrong idea.

CAUTION- Almost got scammed. Caution, I called “apple support” (ended up being a fake number on an apple forum) and they got me to install this app (was pretty odd to use outside tools). They remotely viewed my screen then asked to check the apple wallet “to make sure it was working”. Disconnected and changed passwords. Be careful out there.

Don’t not download. I was told by who acted to be EBay manager to download this app and they went into my phone and transferred all my money using my cash app and transferred into their account, I got an email saying I disconnected my back account t and my card and I had bout $$$ in B coins and sold it back in to another account, I then checked my bank app and saw I was robbed, I deleted this app when stright to my back closed out all my account and bank card andDisputed this scam, with both my bank and cash app!! Don’t down load this app

AnyDesk. Just tremendous! Way better than TeamViewer and other remote admin tools I’ve used. I give free support to my 91 year old grandfather and some other elderly friends in their 80’s, and it wouldn’t be possible without AnyDesk. Most of the other remote support tools don’t offer a free-for-noncommercial-use option (or say they do but then cripple it like some of AnyDesk’s competitors do). I’m a big fan!

Disgusted senior citizen. Do not let anyone talk you into downloading this app if you call any company for a refund bc they tell you to download this app and then they get into your account and steal your money. I know bc it happened to me. A lot of money. It is a app used to scam people. It’s sickening that there are thieves out there like this that instead of working for an honest days work they sit back and steal it. Just remember if you call anyone out there and you call for a refund from a company and they ask you to load this app DONT!!!

Good App... But DO NOT USE BY REQUEST OF ANY PHONE CALLER. There’s nothing inherently wrong or sinister about this Remote Desktop application. It does what it’s supposed to do. But if anyone calls you and then tries to direct you to use it, then that person is a SCAMMER trying to gain access of your computer. Don’t give phone scammer access to AnyDesk app info. Do, however, pretend to be compliant and try to waste the scammer’s time as much as possible. Doing such drains them resources.

Beware: app being used for scams. I called a big-name pay service (or thought that’s who I called) regarding a fraudulent claim, and the “tech” asked me to download this app to my phone and begin broadcasting. He then asked me to log in to my pay account and my bank account. I quickly began to suspect that this wasn’t right, and ended the call and deleted the app and changed all my passwords. I’m not saying that this app doesn’t have legit purposes for business or whatever, but it can be used by scammers, too, so be careful.

Horrible. DO NOT USE I REPEAT DO NOT USE I had called customer service cause my cash app was messing up n the man told me to download this I simple need help cause I couldn’t unlock my card when I tried to I would lock itself right back so when I downloaded the app he tried to have me open up my photos n paypal til I caught on n told him off then I recently got a message sayin that my account was banned I can’t even log in anymore so it’s a trick so they can gather information on your phone to do whatever they need to do luckily I didn’t have any money on my account

Watch Out For Fraud. I just had a call today that claimed a fraudulent charge had been made on one of my accounts. The caller told me I had to download this app and give them a ticket number so they could fix a problem with my account on a “save & secure server”. If I didn’t do this, the hackers could get into my other accounts too. Once they asked me to download this app I knew it was the caller that was the hacker. This app would have let the caller hack into my device with remote control. Watch out. The caller/hacker was very convincing.

It works as intended. It work, just be careful of scammers. Thankfully I was looking at the reviews while talking to a “Disney plus” representative trying to get Disney working on my console. Realize quickly they were using the app and trying to mirror my phone, so I disconnected the call and deleted the app. Hopefully they weren’t able to get anything

Great Remote Desktop software, just needs some work on stability.. I used another RDP software for a long time until a major issue came up. AnyDesk was a life saver! Usually works great on the desktop. Occasionally, the app’s connection will crash for no clear reason. The only issue I have had specific to the iPad app is that the audio is has a constant popping (at least once per second). The popping is not present when connected on the macOS app.

A SCAM. They sent me an email saying there was a payment. I called the number at the bottom, and they tried to help me block the “scammers.” They got my iPhone model number, but that was it. They can already do much with that. As soon as they hung up, I deleted the app, took my sims card out, and reset my phone. There hasn’t been any signs, but it’s only been a few minutes since it happened. Also, right after they hung up, another number called multiple times. Don’t answer! Stay safe!

Fast, lightweight, not as intuitive as TeamViewer, though a whole lot less scummy.. Right-click is an inconvenient and unsatisfying “hold,” rather than double tap(iirc like TeamViewer uses). Also, no built-in scroll(like TeamViewer has), which makes it very inconvenient to search through long folders remotely. That said, it’s super fast, easy to set up and takes practically no space. Easily a 5-star app with built in scrolling and better right-click.

Warning ⚠️ this app does what is says. This app is perfect it does exactly what it says it does. You can show your screen to anyone in the world even if you don’t know then and that is wow fancy But for real. This app is dangerous because scammers use this app to trick you into showing your personal information. And I have to write it like this otherwise the Reveiws gets deleted

Used for scamming. I don’t want to give this app a rating, but am being forced to. Please disregard the rating. I’m simply leaving a review to inform the developers that their app is being used to scam people out of their crypto currency. The hackers are using a phishing email, disguised as a PayPal service email to get you to call them and then download this app, so they can see everything on your phone. I’m not sure what you all can do to prevent this from happening. Just thought I’d let you all know.

Scam. This is a scam anything that ask you to allow someone else to review anything and everything on your phone, so they have full access to your bank accounts anything you have on your phone they will have access to once you give them permission. This is not an app to help you when you’re hacked or your password have been compromised this is an app to help scammer scam you and get access to everything you have on ur device bank accounts credit card everything! Almost scammed. I almost got scammed using this app!! A week after I got my iPhone (very first one!) I was trying to delete a business page on my Facebook, mind you it wasn’t mine and I don’t remember ever becoming an administrator on a Business page. They froze my Facebook. Googled Facebook help desk. They had me download this app to restore my Facebook. !! So I disconnected and deleted this app. Reported them to the bbb I won’t be using this app ever again!!!! But you really should know that’s why people are using this app for!!

Gets the job done with exceptions. Application is stable but it needs a few enhancements: 1- change how the the touch controls work, other remote apps are much better handling clicks. 2- enable the app to work in the background, sometimes i need to copy something from the notes but the connection is terminated when i switch back.

Poor anydesk. Scammers use this app and I fell victim to it (I only downloaded it but got suspicious and hung up). This app is great and it’s sad the scammers abuse it! If your on a call for customer service and they tell you to download this , HANG UP. Ignore the rude comments insulting the people who got scammed, be sure to give this app a thumbs up, I haven’t officially tried it yet but it works and does what it’s suppose to do!

Not a scam but not easy to use. First, my God people. If you are dumb enough to let a total stranger talk you into installing an app and connecting to your device don’t blame the app. Would you blame your phone if they asked for your account numbers and you gave them over the phone? As for the app, it does connect two devices but I found it very hard to use connecting from an IPad to a PC. You have to first drag the cursor to where you want to click and then tap the screen to send the click. You should be able to just tap where you want and have the cursor go there. All that dragging is a pain. I’ve tried Ur several times and I still can’t figure out how to get a keyboard to appear so it’s basically useless. There are better solutions but probably not free ones.

Scam,Scam,Scam❌🚫📵Do not get this app. I got in touch with the corporate office of Etsy at the complaints department and a worker there tried to hook up this app to my phone and say this is the way they do returns! After hooking up the app a serial of numbers come up! The person that was speaking to me on the phone asked me for that number! That is so they can’t control your phone from another computer 💻! But they won’t tell you that! Instead they’ll tell you to go on your bank and send money to a number! There are hackers on the other side looking to scam you! Do not trust this app!

One way door?. I use AnyDesk for both personal use and from working remotely from home. I only have one issue. And apparently I am not the only one. I wish any desk would address this issue so I could give the app five stars. My issue is below. I am trying to log in from my 27" late 2015 iMac to my iPad Air 2. I get this error message. "Logging on to the remote computer is blocked by the AnyDesk settings." How do I fix this? When I log in from the iPad to the iMac it works great. I also have no problems logging in from my personal iMac to my work iMac.

Fake PayPal rep. Beware!!I had an issue with my PayPal account when I called and actually it was not the correct number. At that moment, I did not realize it they told me my account was hacked to download this app, I don’t know what happened, but I actually thought PayPal would try to fix my phone and then I realized after the screen started flashing and warning me that somebody was trying to see into my phone it could be a very good tool for work but it’s also a tool for those creepers.

PERFECT SCAMMER APP. The app worked perfectly for the person that got the better of me and my limited tech knowledge. Got me disguised as PayPal. I’m the idiot, not the app. He got all the information he wanted because I was barraged with tech talk and instructions and opened the app. Now dealing with bank account lock down and fear of identity theft. Like I said, I’m the idiot, not the app.

Perfect for our needs. As a business owner, I often play tech support to my team. This works excellent for this purpose. Highly recommended and at a price point much less than a well known competitor. For the people who were scammed by someone who used this software to exploit you, I’m sorry it happened but your 1 star ratings don’t belong here, in my opinion.

Reliable-ish. Networking issues are a problem, and don’t think you will have the buttery experience of a full on Remote Desktop application. But it is easy to set up, can be used on any device, and will same you a lot of headaches if something goes wrong while away.

Used by scammers. Just now almost got scammed using this app. They would not transfer me to a “cancellation department” unless it was through this app. They would not email me cancellation form. I was in my phone and kept telling me to turn on my computer. I told them it was off and told them to transfer me by phone. He said yes I will do that but I need you to open this app first. Makes no sense. Also after looking this invoice did NOT come from the company, it was a random email address. Be careful people!

Popular Scamming App! Don’t be gullible!. Terrible experience with app! I contacted Instagram support to help me with the app, what sounded like an Indian man answered the call and directed me to download this app. I tried to give it a chance and not be skeptical but the man immediately told me in order to fix my instagram account I have to do so through Cashapp/Venmo(which he seen on my screen while I was sharing access to my screen). He would not tell me why I had to do so and kept saying to me “So you don’t understand anything” after I would ask him to explain the purpose of that. After I repeatedly asked him he went silent and hung up.

Scammers. App all the way. This appt is for scammers the ones you see in the reviews giving a 5 star are scammers wanting you to believe this is a good app what it does it lets the person on the other end to take access to your phone they can see what you are looking at with out permission so if you get a email or text saying that this is PayPal and seem like someone has paid a bill don’t call or answer Call PayPal bye looking up the website and call that number if you have questions I don’t even know why apple apps would allow someone to put this in there apps and why it is on their apps.

Beware Scammers use this app!!. This app is a great app and works with good intentions but it can also be used for scams. Scammers will call you trying to get you to download this app mine was “cash app” and once you follow all directions they thrn have access to your entire phone. Wallet, photos, notes, apps. Cash app, paypal, google, microsoft DO NOT CALL YOU!!! For any reason ever NEVER trust it.

Literally called Walmart “customer care “ or so I thought he asked me to download this app but when the signal went out he was like I’m sorry ma’am we lost connection can you reconnect what’s the numbers again I immediately hung up deleted the app blocked the number reported it to google and to Walmart. Scam. DO NOT download this app if someone asks you to if you are looking for assistance! I had a problem with my Robinhood account and what I thought was customer service ended up being a scammer who got me to download this app and share vital information with. 10 mins into the call I hung up as something seemed off and I deleted this app. Who knows what this scammer has access to now and if they are still able to access my phone ect…. The creators of this app know the risks and don’t take safety measures to helping pp stay safe

DANGER!!!. I was asked to download this app by a person claiming to work for PayPal! I called a telephone number on a paid Google Ad that claimed to be PayPal. Because I downloaded this app and the person has access to where ever I was going on my phone. They directed me to go to my PayPal app and go to the problem areas on my PayPal account. Because of this app, they were able to obtain my name, address, the last 4 numbers of my social, and my birthdate! Now I am open to identity theft and had to close down all my bank accounts and credit cards! Use this app and any remote access app with CAUTION!!!

Good app. I was contacted by PayPal which was not a PayPal account and they try to hack me using this app once you open this app they get access to everything you have on your phone including all of your banking information and all of your passwords be mindful please share your app with do not class except at the bottom unless you read what it says stay safe good luck

Scam. So I’m actually seeing several reviews verifying the same. Scammers use this app!! If anyone calls or texts you and instructs you to use this app do not do it! I thought PayPal was having a fraudulent charge. I called the number listed and told him them I didn’t approve the charge. I actually fell for everything… I ended giving over $600 to these guys. So completely upsetting and I feel so violated. No one should have access to this app as it’s just too dangerous. I seriously could not believe what happened to me and how ignorant I was to this.

Scammers beware. I clicked on apple support phone # from google and got someone claiming to be apple support. They then had me sign up for this app and had me navigate through my banking and PayPal app. Then they had me get a crypto app and wanted me to transfer money into the account. I caught on finally but they almost got me. I hope they didn’t get any info from my phone screen. It was weird that the phone number link from google connected me with them. Don’t fall for tricks. You should actually monitor who is on the other end and bust the scammers

No full screen with iPad. I’ve been using TeamViewer from my iPad Pro to access my desktop PC on the same network at home, but ever since TeamViewer decided that is “commercial use” I have switched to AnyDesk. Unfortunately I can’t seem to figure out how to make it full screen on my iPad Pro, so having big bars on the top and bottom of the remote window makes everything incredibly small. I have a standard 1080p monitor. If this feature is available, it’s hidden somewhere because I’ve yet to figure it out.

Scam. I almost got scammed by a scammer claiming to be calling from PayPal. I had some issues regarding the payment on PayPal, (this was a big mistake).. I now know the only way to contact eBay is to request . The scammer told me in order to get my payment back from eBay, I have to fill out an application using this app. It was suspicious and I ended the call. So, the app is not a scam, but scammers will use this app to get a complete control of your phone and steal your info. I don't actually know exactly how this app works but this was my encounter and I just want to share with people to be aware! Today

Pretty good. Original review: I use this sometimes when I’m at home but don’t want to get up and go to my desktop. The one time I actually left home and needed to use it, my Windows cursor got stuck in the top left corner of the screen so I literally couldn’t do a single thing. Update: I realized you are able to do a remote reboot which fixed the cursor issue for me. Overall a useful program, but doesn’t always work seamlessly.

Cautious. I received an email today regarding a renew fee l don’t recognized. I called the cancellation number, the person asked me to download this app and open my camera and check my banking account. I refused to do it. Do you charge a annually or renew fee for this app? I never use this app, l just give a rate to send my comments.

Exceedingly Poor UI. I tried evaluating AnyDesk as an alternative to TeamViewer (which now has rampant false positive detection of "commercial use," instantly blocking use for more than a few seconds at a time). Unfortunately the iOS app UI is poor, almost to the point of being useless, and AnyDesk support seems uninterested in addressing these: -The displayed mouse position is usually slightly off from the actual remote mouse position, so clicking on anything has unpredictable results -"Touchpad mode" (similar to TeamViewer default mode, where touching the screen controls the mouse cursor) is horrible --Lacks any way to drag the mouse (lacks the double-tap and hold feature that TeamViewer and MS Remote Desktop have), so you can't, e.g., select files in a folder --When you're zoomed in (as you have to be on a phone), scrolling past the edge of the current view does not automatically pan (instead you have to scroll with two fingers, which in turn sometimes registers as a click instead)

Scammers. They need to definitely be held accountable with the scammers. However, they should make this more secure like requiring an ID to use the service. A legit ID verified there’s billions and billions of dollars being taken through this app by scammers i n India and it just needs to buckle down and make it more secure for elderly people and they allow scammers from India to use this platform. Maybe they should block all Internet activity from that country to protect the elderly here in the USA This platform is used to scam people not the people who develop this platform, but they allow scammers to use their platform to scam our elderly community.

Put a warning right in the title please!!. I was scammed. They initiated this through a friend snd I was trying to help her out. She told me Venmo would call me to help her straighten out a bank issue. I installed this app and they used it to see what i was doing. What else can this app do? Could they hear me when I was on hold? Could they see other things on my phone while I was on another screen? Can it do key logging? Fortunately, I use face id.

Good and useful for remote accessing computer. Little by little functionality in IOS is more buggy and less reliable. Program does not recognize the space bar or arrow keys on hardware keyboard attached to ipad air 3. Does not permit repeat keys by holding down a key. As the funtionality diminishes its like the program or its ability to function in ios is decreased. Laptop with windows works fine, just not ipad in ios. Tried upgrading ios and restarting ipad and desktop windows 11 system, but still no functionality. No idea why.

Sorry that I have to give 1 star to Anydesk even though they claim to not have any businesses with the scammers, this Anydesk scam is widely spreading for months and they should have taken actions on combating the scammers from misusing the app such as tracking the IP or the account and provide a way for the victims to report these information to the police instead of just doing the public education.

Not Anydesk fault but just want to know more!. Like many who wrote reviews, I was scammed through Anydesk. I just wanted to know the just of what they could access in my phone if I downloaded the app. The hacker was able to get $299 from my Venmo but I am wondering if there is anyway—for my peace of mind, he still has access to my phone after deleting the app and even if I didn’t open certain personal things, could he still see other applications and personal info in my phone. Please help! I just want to take care of this swiftly!

Beware of Scammers. I was stupid, I allowed scammers access to my phone and they had me for awhile. I should’ve been suspicious when it kept breaking and I kept having to allow them access through the app. I got my money back but god knows what they accessed on my phone, there seems to be no way to contact these people to ask any questions. They just say they’re not affiliated with scammers and link a useless abuse site. I just want to talk to someone and know if my phone is at risk and what they could have accessed.
