Worst service!!. They will not cancel the account even if you want to and it’s not easy, they have charging my credit account for the past 3 months ($137/Month) though I have cancelled it before my trial period ends, I called customer care and they said that you have cancelled via the mobile app but not desktop app which does not make sense, why I have to cancel it on both the apps (mobile and web)??? also their guidelines and alerts about the stocks are useless, this is absolutely not a good company to rely on, stay away from it!!

Bought the premium after the trial, 100% Satisfied!. After the three day premium trial, I immediately knew I could be a successful investor with this app. The education course, webinars and top picks in the app, I’m convinced I have made a smart choice!!

Worthless to say the least!. Against my gut feeling i followed the sell advisory of this app and within a couple hours the stock gained over a dollar a share. Good thing it was a small investment or i would have lost a lot of money left laying on the table. Bit then in this market pennies do count. In my opinion this far, this app leaves a lot to be desired. I guess if you shoot enough bullets sooner or later one is bound to hit the target but i dont think i want them shooting stray bullets on my dollar.

Just learning!. I love the app! Great info! You'd easily get a 5 with one major exception! The app is glitchy & it gets very annoying! Sometimes the app freezes. Sometimes you can not scroll. As a paying customer for the past 3 years, i expect better. Fix the glitches & you have a great app. If the glitches don't abate im afraid i will be looking for a new app. Thank you abd good luck. 🙏

Great idea. Found this app and it has great information about stocks. Also, I love the sugestión to buy, hold or sell. I give the 3 stars because of the educational videos don't teach anything new about stocks. Also, I could not find many symbols because I chose Canada vs the US. Canada is the market to invest now, but still, want to see US stocks. Finally, the stocks prices are not as timely as Fidelity has different values than this app. With a few improvements, especially education this app has great potential. Note even fidelity educational videos are not teaching anything new or valuable at the moment to make selling it buying decisions.

Review. I very much enjoy VectorVest but feel like I am drinking from a fire hydrant at times. There is so much to the service. The best part, for me, is the timing aspect. I do wish that VV would add more indicators to their inventory; CCI and DSS Bressert. They are super powerful indicators with the DSS Bressert being priceless!!! Thanks for all you guys do, I am very grateful:)

My Go-To Software. I’ve been a subscriber for over 10 years. No other advisory software gives Market direction, the True Value of a stock and a snap-shot of whether you should “really” be in the Market. I’m retiring this year at 63. No worries about running out of money at all…VECTORVEST helps me generate a weekly paycheck. Their advice for retirement is to just “keep on making money” and they show you how to do exactly that.

No Good. I’ve been investing for many years and have always managed to make money in the market. I’ve used this app for several months and took a very conservative approach in a very robust market but still lost money on a regular basis. Their information and recommendations seem to be old and outdated. My current challenge is trying to cancel my subscription. The app has no information or links on how to do so. Sent message to Support so we’ll see how that goes

The way they handle business looks like a SCAM!. They make you get a trial or susbcribe using a credit card online to find out that you can’t cancel unless you spend houra on the phone waiting to talk with a live customer support agent. Are you for real? Why not offer a way to cancel from the app or website. If you don’t call to sign up you shoudn’t have to call to cancel. They did not send a confirmation email to state my trial was cancelled. I hope they won’t end up charging my card pretending it was not cancelled. Stay Away!! Don’t waste your time!

Very good, but needs a few things. I have been a subscriber for several years (5+). And I rely upon the mobile app as I am an Apple Mac desktop user. I only own a DELL with Windows because of the need to get to the desktop version of VectorVest which has ALL the features. While the mobile app continues to improve, I MOST MISS the market timing graphs — especially the enhanced Protrader DEW timing chart, the ability to add parameters (multiple moving averages) to the stock graphs, and the ability to add to or sell part of a portfolio position. Those are what I do the most on the DELL, which is a slow boat to nowhere computer that constantly frustrates me (I used Windows at work from it’s invention until I retired in 2014). So these extra enhancements to the mobile app would be great. Otherwise, the mobile app is a total life saver.

Best app for Registered reps and Investment Advisers. I find this app surprisingly good. Monitoring these many stocks with buy, sell and hold recommendations it’s very useful to anyone managing money. When a client ask about any stock you can have an instant intelligent conversation accelerating the sales process.

Very useful. There are 8,000 available stocks to choose from, and at least that many companies that, for a fee, will sell you their secret sauce for picking winners. This is actually quite useful, I use it on all my trading and have been very pleased with the results.

VectorVest. The VectorVest app is very accurate in the ratings and the data for the most part and since I’ve been using it I’ve made money but it would have been better if the app had the capability for real time data in the $20 premium subscription instead of the 15 mins delay and also if there was some sort of stock screener for industries like in the desktop version I believe it would be a huge addition in order to sort the stocks based of a person’s preference for a particular sector etc. The App definitely has a lot of potential and a lot more improvements could be made.

Best Tool for Stock Trading. I love this App and I hope Glenn Thompkins can keep hosting his videos! Love the way that guy talks! Vectorvest does everything to try to teach you how to read and use the app. I’m only a beginner but this app have saved me making poor investment decisions. It gives me more certainty on the stocks I’ve invested. They take almost every stock in the market and have a system that tracks the stock’s performance many years back. It’s never steered me wrong. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful VectorVest is. Even the cheapest $4.99/mo account provides invaluable advice. Whenever I’m thinking of buying a stock, I renew my subscription to get VectorVest’s input and it has never steered me wrong. This app has far better data & advice than any other free or subscription service I’ve encountered. It’s insanely impressive & I can’t recommend it enough.

Guide. To the people who give this one star. Guess what? I just subscribed. I use this as a guide more than them telling me what to do. The stock market is way too volatile to make a wrong move in my opinion. I make an educated guess and see if Vectorvest agrees with it or not. If not, I find out why and learn from that. I’d rather have professional advice than to go out there on my own. I guess that’s just me, though. This app is good if you’re not a professional trader. Obviously, a professional wouldn’t need it.

Don’t recommend for widget. Downloaded just to use the iOS 14 stock widget. After about 4 days it was blank and told me I needed to “upgrade” to continue using the widget. Wanting me to pay monthly even though I just wanted to use the widget. I’ll find another app. Response to the Dev’s response. I’m not reading the fine print or using the app, I have other apps I much rather prefer for charts/stocks and all I wanted this app for was the widget. IOS 14 is still new there will be more widgets developed and I am certainly not paying a subscription for a widget

Vectorvest. I have used VectorVest for years. I do not know what I would do without it. While I have used many sources of input for financial planning, VectorVest has been my most trustworthy resource. Highly recommended.

Great App. I love this app. Tells you right time, expected profit, risk scale, over all benefit. I did the free trial when I was new to the stock market and then cancelled without problems. I’m not sure why so many people are saying that they have problems cancelling after the free trial ???. I however later on, missed having the app and become a subscriber. Like I said, I love it :)

Saved my trading career. I was losing on just about every one of my trades until i discovered this easy to use insanely profitable stock ranking system, that gets you in the market and out with safe profits.

Love the ratings!. They give you a free 3 day trial. I haven’t had any problems with the app. I love the buy/hold/sell ratings, they’ve been pretty accurate so far (I haven’t lost any money yet). When the trial expired I chose the $5 subscription plan, which I think is a fair price for the information they give you.

Chart is not accurate. Me and some of my friends have been using it for a long time .The mobile version chart is not accurate some of the stock,i used to like it until I found out the chart is not accurate and this is a stock market ,the chart is very important and we paid membership fee every month for what ? If they don’t fixed the problem We will cancel our membership very soon.

Very smart tool - shout out to the development team - whoever you are.. Nice work!. This app helps me make decisions, save time, and most importantly make $$. I am a database administrator by trade and I want to make $$ in my spare time. I love the fact that I can query anything I want and I have access to smart screens already designed.. awesome! This is a learning earning machine that has helped me build better strategies and have greater success. Love it! customer for life!

Great profits so far!. I don’t normally like an app enough to write a review, but VectorVest deserves a lot of credit. I signed up for a free trial of their premium service and have now kept it for the $20 monthly fee. It’s worth it because I’ve already made more than that in profits off of their rating system. Go to Picks, Premium Watchlists, and select Top VST Stocks. This shows you all the stocks with the highest rated VST - a rating based on a combination of value, safety, and timing. They also show what the stop price is so you can get out of a losing stock quickly. There is also a ton of data for each stock and you can personalize your graph to show the info you want. I highly recommend for anyone, but especially beginners who are overwhelmed by picking stocks. If you’re new, make sure to watch their video course which will help you learn what all the different numbers and acronyms mean to make the most out of your subscription.

Drscj. I have been interested in Vector Vest for 20 years. I previously attended two day training sessions round 2000. I quit investing several years ago, but I am excited to get back into the market. There is no one better than Vector Vest to lead me in the right direction for profitable investing.

Don’t waste your money on desk top.. Apparently this company isn’t integrated with itself. I paid for the app but that doesn’t translate to the desktop site. Even though you pay for the app you don’t get access there. EVEN THOUGH ITS THE SAME COMPANY. That might not be a bad thing though because looking at the desk top site pricing, even the lowest plan for $70/month only gets you end of day data. Yet on the phone app for $5/month you get data 15 mins delayed. Weird, screwed up company. But if you’re interested go with the $5/month app as you’ll pay less and get more current data.

Don’t look at the stars read the reviews. You pay $25 basically to even get in the app and then if you want notifications when to buy or sale you have to pay another $50 and then if you want notifications on when to buy options you have to pay another $50 it’s nothing but a money maker do not waste your time or money downloading this app

This is a great stocks app. I’ve learned a lot about stocks and trading just within 1 hour of watching the videos on the resource center. Definitely recommend this app along with all of the other great features that is had to help you in your investing journey.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced, you can’t even get a password reset that actually works. You send them an email and get an email back and no one ever resolve your issue nor they try to reach out to call you. You call them and you’re on an indefinite hold and you leave your name and phone number and no one called you back. You try to call them on a Friday before Easter and the entire staff has taken off, if they want to run a business they need to be open when convenient for the customer. If they’re looking to do this as a hobby then they probably should pick something else to do.

Educate yourself is the only real way. Just teach yourself how to become a trader. Use the money instead to buy stuff to educate yourself. This may work for some people. I would highly not recommend to anyone. I’m not here to trash anything. The site has a lot of work put into it. There are a lot of great things they offer. I just think the algorithm they use and there core stock picking beliefs may just be a bit off from the reality of how the market works.

Hold ''em Fold 'em but know why. Know when to hold and when to fold. This application sorts through real data and provided me with non emotional plan of action. Can't make money sitting on my hands or sitting on a tanking stock, my money needs to be working for me.

Not bad... but could be way better. There is no flow to the delivery of the information or it’s presentation. It’s just an app with stock tips. Hand picked and well thought yes, but just an app. It doesn’t push notifications about pressing investments or things to look into. For 20 a month you could be offering so much with this. But it’s new so hopefully it grows and learns as time goes on.

It’s pretty but that’s about it. The app is actually well done with a great UI and good stability for its function but that’s about where the good stuff ends. They treat you like a beginner even if you have experience. Some of their analysis is spot on but others, not so much. The biggest problem is sorting through all the junk to find good recommendations. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to their algorithm. Then they flood you with notification spam for things like Stock Market 101 course and try to sell you on other courses they have. Plus I got about 10 other companies all spamming me as soon as I signed up. It’s like they sold my email and phone number the second I signed up. I know it was them b/c I used a unique iCloud number to protect my real email address and I’m glad I did. Thankfully I used a burner number also. Overall, not what I was hoping for. Has a real scammy feel to it.

Not reliable!. I check your App everyday, for example you guys put the sign for market in the morning bullish and then 4hrs later change it to bearish! it doesn’t make sense to me at all! I know the market is currently not stable but when I trust you guys and buy stocks with bullish signs in the morning then 4 hrs later when the market goes down I loose a lot of money then you change it to bearish. If you guys are in this business for a long time and professional, you should give more reliable guidances to your users. Also I noticed you mention for some stocks and recommend to buy it but it goes down and I loose a lot of money as I bought it per your recommendation!

Not satisfied.. Did a free trial. Looked at the highest rated stocks, made a list and 10 days later they hadn’t done any better than random chance. Didn’t cancel in time, got charged. You can’t cancel unless you WRITE A LETTER or call by phone. Okay I called by phone twice and had been on hold for an hour the first time waiting, about 35 minutes the second time. They make it difficult and inconvenient to cancel. They basically force you to call to cancel so that they can try and convince you not to, by offering a free extra month or something. Their recommendations are no better than chance from what I can tell. They’re over a hundred dollars per month. Many of these reviews on the App Store seem fake. Very unhappy with Vector Vest, strongly recommend to avoid.

Stock Investing Made Simple. I love this application. I think it’s great because it allows me to minimize risk as I grow my portfolio with minimum effort. I use this app in conjunction with Seeking Alpha to make more insightful decisions. I wish I had known this app was available sooner. If you try it you will get hooked on it. Thank you for allowing me to use your app.

Not ADA Compliant. The one star ratings is for the app alone, and not for the vectorvest service. The service is good, but the app has some issues. I reported to vectorvest support way back in 2018 that the font size of the Friday views newsletter are too tiny for me to read, even with reading glasses. This issue has not been fixed so far. This is a failure per ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines. Please fix this issue asap. What I am asking for is the ability to increase font size. Thank you.

Ignorant people. I can’t comment on the app as of now only had it for 3 days but the people complaining about not being able to cancel there subscription! You are so ignorant learn your stupid phone before you make comments on someone’s apps! Just stupid!!

Highly unreliable; WARNING: You May Blow Your Account. They do give you buy and sell rating on stock that are very risky and volatile. You may be lucky and make a fortune. You may be a professional who have experience and know when to buy and sell, in that case you don’t need this app. You can you the think of swim scanner! But if you are a naive new trader chances are you will blow your account listening to their suggestions. Be careful if you insist on using it. The subscription is not worth it.

Use this before buying any stock!. The Vector Vest app is my first stop when buying any stock or stock option. It’s proprietary system tells when you should buy, hold, or sell any stock. Be sure to study it’s VST (Value, Safety, and Timing) system to get the most out of the program. It also gives you the market timing in general, when it is safe to jump in or time to start getting defensive. The only major issue is that it is not fully IOS 11 compatible for iPads split screen option. The split screen, for example, allows you to run two programs side by side, such as your broker on one side, and your research app on the other side of the screen. Vector Vest has been adding features, such as a new stock screener function on a regular basis, so I hope the split screen function for iPad is in the works.

Best app I found so far. I love this app because there’s education along with recommendations that are based on data algorithms not somebody trying to sell you a stock because they have other motives. Been testing it out buying undervalued stocks based on vector vast data and I’m succeeding finally!

The BEST financial and market timing app!. Vector Vest is the best market timing, stock financial analysis tool I’ve used in the 24 years I’ve been investing in individual stocks. Vector Vest has taught me how to time the market, profiting in both directions, while preserving capital and profits. Through the stock screeners, model portfolio tools, you have the ability to pick winners. Please understand that the Windows product provides additional features, but the mobile app can get you started. It is the best!

DO NOT SIGN UP or DOWNLOAD THIS APP. SCAMMER ALERT, BEWARE !!! They make you type in your address info and your info and then dont let you sign up and freeze, you just cannot use the app at all because they would not let you in so you have to delete the app, then later email you without your permission to advertise their classes and to join their group for a flat fee . Scammer trying to steal information and advitising, never trust a group who trying to ask you to join their group, it will always be pump and dump scam. Do your DD!

The app is not working. Try to register account but get lock up at the next button several time. Update: installing a newest update on my phone, still have the same problem. Found out that I use automatically general strong password causing the issue. The app is okay to use but nothing special for pay monthly. But this app give you more stock to choose and invest. Anyway you need to do research and pick your own best stock. Nothing is set to make money, stock is risk but try to low your risk with your own experience.

Bad in editing portfolio. Although the software itself is unique and this app is easy to use but there is a flaw that turned me very upset about it. If you create a portfolio and suddenly you got delivered an option that has a price different from the current price, the app will not allow you to enter your own price. It only ask you how much you want to spend and it will apply the current price. The other thing is that the screen in iOS will hide half the entry form which means the developers never tested this feature to predict how annoyed users will be in such a situation.

Great tool. I use the Premium version and am very happy. Saves me the hassle of building charts and is good for technical analysis. It is best for more experienced traders, because there is more to the market than tech analysis, so this isn’t good for new IPO’s. However, for more established stocks, and knowing current market conditions, it can be an invaluable tool.

Great stock screener. I came to this app after my brokerage stopped offering a screener in-house. The proprietary indicators quickly solve a lot of number crunching to find the best undervalued stocks. The momentum indicators have also helped me jump onto a number of high fliers at the right time over the past year. Highly recommend!

Best information available to make educated decisions.. I have had a few stocks that have been stale and neither making me money nor losing so I held. Based on my own research I was prepared to sell however was advised to hold by the “experts” I’ve had Vector for about two weeks now and sure enough they confirmed the decisions I was on the fence about and actually saved me in the Nick of time with their advice to sell allowing me to break even or keep what could have become unmanageable losses into manageable ones. Whether it’s time to cut the fat or discover new stocks in this ever shifting landscape, this tools invaluable and legit. I’ll submit another review every few weeks to verify the validity of this over the long haul.

VectorVest is Great. Mobile App helpful. Now that I understand and use VV I am making good money on this Rollercoaster stock market. The desktop software is complete. The mobile app is pretty good but not a good enough duplication of software. Graphs need more capabilities for one. Regardless the pair has me ahead in April 2020 beating the market by almost 15% in a horrible Covid situation.

Disappointed. Going through getting to know this app I was pretty impressed & though I would subscribe after the free trial is over. Unfortunately though I’ve noticed now it gives me market info from the previous day which undermines the app somewhat

Tail of two services. Signing up for VV provides quite an extensive level of capabilities when using a PC. For some reason the iPad version is considerably less capable even tho I have paid for the full service. As a person who relies mostly on an iPad I find this most disappointing. To get the benefits I need, I have to revert to my home based pc. I pay for the full service but get the much lesser iPad service. I could not recommend the iPad service to anyone.

Pretty but useless. Live market data is freely available, but no live market info on this app.

Stupendous. This is a great programme to use when deciding stock purchases and what they offer in terms of Divs, long term capital growth etc.

I don’t normally provide feedback but here I am at a service station having just filled up and I thought I would check my portfolio performance, for yesterday when low and behold a rating prompt popped up...and I felt compelled to comment as well!! This app is truly revolutionary...and believe me I have tried them all! This is one of the bests apps I have used to keep track of my shares with buy all sellInformation available with this app plus computer software That gives even more information when using on your home computer great package great use of colour codes for buy-sell hold it certainly is everything you need if you’re going to trade shares .

VectorVest new mobile app - brilliant !. Absolutely brilliant for users of VectorVest for people to track stocks whilst away from your desktop. I was involved with the beta and thought it was great and the proposed improvements in technical analysis and screeners will only make it better - well done love it !

Money grabbing. Beware if you want to cancel - you have to cancel it yourself through your iTunes settings on your phone. I didn’t know much about these things and it took me 3 weeks of asking for help from VV support to finally work out how to do it. This included several phone calls and emails with conflicting information being given each time and no follow through. If the programme has merit I will never know because of their appalling service

Simple app with good education. I like the simplicity of the app and the explanations and transparency of the metrics. The full reports are pretty good and the graphing functions are pretty detailed for a mobile app. Good stuff!

There is no one like VV. Before VV I was never see there is any profit in market but VV give clear vision in or out very simple way and very short amount of time and very very simple and upcoming opportunities and market warning If people not experience by them self they can not see what a simple and safe and goodnight sleep VectorVest is best of the best of the best.

Robotrader & Profitlocker both MIA in Vectorvest IOS App. We ought to be able to take advantage of the functionality that Robotrader & ProfitLocker Pro are “supposed” to offer using the convenience of our ubiquitous iPhones - however this functionality ain’t working on my Vectorvest App!!!! Disappointing……. There are still other issues however, they are for another time.

I am not able to load the application. Is there any issue with this app for IOS

They will not give your money back. Worst customer service and refund policy I have seen from a company. I tried the free 1 month trial. They do allow you to cancel auto renewal subscription online! You will have to call. I called a day after subscription renewal and they refuse to refund me. I left a voice message for the manager and he never returned my call!!!

I recommend it!. If you're just getting the mobile app version, be sure to choose the right subscription so you've got the features you need. Also be sure that you understand the methodology behind the approach vectorvest takes to the stock market. Then simply place your faith in their system and ride the highs and lows, while you follow the technical indicators for the markets and your chosen investment or trading instruments. I found some tickers lacking in especially the Canadian market directory. And none of my NEO tickers were listed. I reported this more than once. Also, in my opinion, if the focus of your portfolio is on stocks, it can help. But you don't need it if you're investing or trading in ETFs. If you want something that tells you when to buy or sell, this might be it. But it won't work all the time. If you're a trader, you probably know what you're looking for, and this might not be it. But if you're not going with robo advisors or ETFs or something else, why don't you give this a go. I think this is a great software product. I recently had a billing issue and got a quick ‘developer’ reply. I'm thankful! Personally, I've discovered that I'm more comfortable with trying to ‘ride’ the market, instead of timing it. But of course, you must walk your own path and be the judge.

Love the app BUT. To expensive for a average investor!

Sucks. Makes you pay , also delayed 15 minutes. Not cool

Fraudulent app. They take 25$ for subscription, which literally not working. Their CS says that “I should contact Apple App Store support, since it is App Store can’t match subscriptin to app”. Useless app, useless CS, fraudulent subscription model - beware.

App issue. I am um able to login or use the app. I canceled my subscription thinking it was that but it didn’t help. Is there some type of problem from the last update?

Money grab. Very bad service

Limited coverage of stocks. Many smaller stock, especially mining ones are not covered. Sent them requests to add but no answer. A premium subscriber.

Expected real time quotes. Like the announcement feature but the quotes are delayed even in the paid version.

Useless. Couldn’t even create an account.

Cannot Purchase. Error: Cannot connect to iTunes Store (Code : 2). I tried purchasing the 2 week trial but it gives me the following message: Error: Cannot connect to iTunes Store (Code : 2)

VectorVest dashbord. Kept simple...powerful...simple visual dashboards to help you decide to buy, hold, sell your stocks! A must!

The app is hungry for personal data. Why do you need my name and email before I can even use this app?

Unable to switch country. Downloaded the 14 day trial version. Canadians trade US and Canada stocks.After you select the country to Canada and you want to switch to US I am not able to switch to US or find a way to do it. It should be a no brainer. Fix this pls and we can be in business hopefully.

No free trial/ crooks. I signed up with the promise of a 14 day trial and they charged me the full $26 dollars right away with no trial. Called customer support and was told if I unsubscribed right away the amount would be refunded back on my visa (which was untrue, still no refund). Don’t fall for their free trial scam!

Rip off. You can only see stocks of one market per email account. Once your trial is up they have very little information and very basic charts. They found you for money on the app and send countless emails.

Paid for a month, tells me im not subbed. I paid for a month for basic vector vest, when I log out this morning after 4 days of using it it tells me my “free trial” as expired and can’t use any of the functionality of the app. Yes I checked that I paid, and I was working for four days until today that nothing works anymore...

Buy sell ratings seem to be at the peak of a trend that almost always crashes soon after. Every stock recommended has seemingly always had a huge crash shortly after, example Jaguar mining, few weeks ago was at the top of their charts, dropped 30% this week. This app literally just identifies peaks of a rally that you’ve already missed and recommends you buy the stock, 2 weeks later sell at a substantial loss. Also can’t seem to cancel my subscription

Only mineral trades ?. I like how it is, but I wish it wasn’t only just resource stocks, like gold, silver, lithium, etc. Is there a way to see other stocks ? I have the basic premium.

Can’t open the apps after update. Pls note that the apps cannot be open after a version update yesterday!

Can not login. Installed the app but when tried to setup the login and clicked “next”, the button “next” greyed out and nothing happened. App stays on the same screen without any prompts. So what’s the point?

Emails that you can’t unsubscribe from. They keep sending me emails. First email I clicked unsubscribe, and it said that this unfortunately doesn’t unsubscribe me from ALL emails. There’s no option to do so. Today I got an email with no unsubscribe button.

Not too bad but pricey and overrated. It’s not a bad app and makes data a bit more visual with recommendations you can actually figure out yourself if you read financial related papers and news, and you’re alert about what is happening in the market. Subscription is a little pricey in comparison to what the app provides.

Missing features. I’ve been using it for a few months as a premium subscriber and have set up a portfolio of stocks that I own. Unfortunately, the app does not do a good job notifying when it’s time to sell stocks. All I want is for it to send me an alert that a stock in my portfolio changed recommendation from buy to hold to sell, but it doesn’t do that. Even a visual indicator is missing unless you click on each stock individually. I want this in one view for all stocks in the portfolio. This should be a no brainer but VectorVest support is for the most part unresponsive. I see that this has been requested by others many times already so I’m not holding my breath. I don’t think I can continue paying for the app because of this.

Costs money for app. Said free and then it now makes me pay to have it like a week later. All my stocks I have don’t show up on this app. Don’t bother.

Cost to get lots of advertising. Why pay so much just be bombarded by more advertising. Disappointed from that point of view. I also assumed that paying the premium for the app would also allow log in from a computer browser- nope only app access for the fancy charts. Finally ending with Vector Vest being hacked and not getting anything for my subscription for the last half month. Not their fault for being hacked- well, yes it is. Shame on this greedy service provider

Seems like a lot of good reviews, but..... Found the app very difficult to use as the text was tiny on the iPad. Even worse, it was of low contrast, blue on white, which made it worse. Looked in the prefs to make it more readable, but there was no support for that So from this users point of view, kind of unusable

Misleading subscription details. I downloaded a trial version and had access to multiple markets... as soon I purchased the subscription I was limited to ONE MARKET! Multiple subscriptions are required to access more markets... in my case, Canada and USA, $12.99 x 2. Update: I called the support number, unfortunately when you purchase through the App Store, VV is unable to provide the needed support. So to conclude, if you’re interested in the VV app, purchase through their website and save yourself the headache of dealing with Apple.

Market stock. After Canada market has been chosen, system does not allows me to switch into American market

Great informative app. This app is like having a knowledgable expert trader sitting with you the lessons are great, and fun to do and my anxiety has been calmed knowimg that i can follow the suggestions and be able to trade with a purpose and a plan for success.

15 minutes data delay. Even if you pay $14CAD/month there’s still 15 minutes delay on data. Their buy&sell ratings are also delayed or just not right.

Trash. Just another useless app unless paying for subscription. Idk why Apple allows these apps that are literally not usable without paying in the app. It is literally a paid app pretending to be free on the App Store. Apple doesn’t care if developers take advantage of their system.

Horrible app. Horrible app! Their evaluation is mostly built upon hype. Therefore, you buy when the stock is at an high and chances are that their value will decrease soon after. You get a free trial so look into the graphics and pay attention to the buy and sell rating. You’ll notice that they suggest to buy when the price is too high and to sell with a loss. Dont lose money with this app. Make your researches and invest in your knowledge.

Impossible to unsubscribe. App fraudulently signs up for the premium trial, even if you decline. Then the subscription doesn’t show up in the Apple store, which the company says is the only way to unsubscribe. Customer support is completely useless. Plan on talking to your bank to cancel charges, because Apple doesn’t offer support for this product. Complete scam.

Definitely a tool for everyone. I never review or write about apps. If I don’t like any app I will just delete it. I tried free time version of VectorVest and it was very helpful and accurate. It really help to check my analysis. However it is too costly.

Time for my review. I’ve had this app for almost a year now and I’ve made about 85% of what I’ve invested. I'm new to trading but at the rate I'm going I'll double my initial investment before a year. For 240/year you can't beat it! Highly recommended app.

Do not recommend at all. Success. I have had very good success using this application. My declines or losses were not due to VectorVest rather due to manipulation on my brokers part.

So far so good. Loved the navigation in app, very smooth. Good options which stock to choose based on level of investor’s comfort. Like aggressive vs safe good stock to buy etc.

It’s a bit confusing. There needs to be more detail / help symbols with small pop up windows next to phrases / words that may not be as easily interpreted by everyday traders. I don’t want to have to refer to google every time I read a paragraph about a potential buy just to still not fully understand it.

Very Solid Stock Recommendations. I originally got this app as a “2nd opinion” brokerage app to determine if Robinhood’s stock ratings were viable or not. I’ve made +27% in the 4 months I’ve been using it. Take that info as you will, but so far I love this app and it’s services.

New mobile Vector Vest app. I like the clean, simple designed for a busy mobile lifestyle! When at home I can use the more robust desktop version. But this version gives me what I need to know "on the go" Good job VectorVest!

Cannot make account, error message.. Cannot make an account, says error creating account contact support. When trying to contact Support, the page doesn’t load. All other apps, support pages, internet, other websites working fine on this iPad. I did turn it off and on again too 😜😁

Scam. The free service is much better than this one, I installed this one to try it this one says it’s free but then I don’t know how they upgrade and start charging $70 a month I find out after 3 months. Make sure you delete the up after you figure out this is just a waste of time.

Great service. I have used VectorVest for several years. It’s a great source of stock data plus a lot more. I’ve learned a lot about the market and selecting stocks. Great for market timing. Love the ability to backrest different strategies. A valuable tool!

Superb analytics !. VV mobile does a sensational job (thnx Patrick) of giving you a snapshot of the broad mkt at any given time - this app ensures that I am not overwhelmed by data and fall into “analysis paralysis !”

BE VERY CAREFUL. When paying for this service be careful, make sure you do not get charged twice for it because they will not. The app is not worth the price. I paid 5 dollars for the vital then upgraded to premium the same day because vital is literally the same as free. I was charged for both vital and premium to pay 26 dollars and it’s still worthless and pretty close to same as free.

Vector Vest New User. It would be better if Vector Vest can give me a price on when to enter a trade and when to exit. It tells me the stock that I should buy, sell or hold, but it does not tell me to buy and sell at what price. Can Vector Vest work on that and it’s okay to charge premium subscriber like me more.

Untrustworthy. I was using this for almost two months and just cancelled the subscription. You don’t need to pay $19 per month to know to say “Buy” when a stock is skyrocketing and “Sell” all of a sudden when the stock fall 70%!!! Nice looking piece of junk software. Do not waste your hard earned money only to gain more and more losses. That’s what you will end up with if you buy a thing per their advice.

Does not support split-view multitasking. While I like VectorVest as an investing tool, this app is a bit dated and is profoundly different than the web site UX. The lack of Split Screen Multitasking support makes side by side comparisons or n taking notes while doing investment research a real problem.

No access to premium watchlists. Yes I’m a premium member. I can’t view any of the premium watchlists. “An internal server error has occurred. Please try again later.” We’ll i’ve been trying again later for a week now and I’m fed up with this app, both on the iPhone and iPad.

Over priced. The app is ok. Certainly not worth $20 every month. Also if you even try the free trial they will send you about 5 emails every single day. I’ve asked them to stop and they won’t. There isn’t an unsubscribe button in their email either. Do yourself a favor and stay away, they aren’t doing anything special.

Very useful when trading away from home. I found it very useful for trading away from home. And at home I use it to help check price action. It has helped me make money and cut my losses.

Poor customer service.. I write a detailed email to get something resolved and the customer service representative completely evades my issue and did not resolve my issue at all. That kind of customer service doesn’t keep customers it makes them get refunds and write poor reviews.

Great APP. Removes the laborious research requirement and jumps straight to the meat, saving time and energy. Color coding is helpful. Training is top notch. I have a paid subscription and it pays for itself in 15-min of market success!
