Like the app but hate the flashing red display. The app has the features that I was looking for and implements them well. But I hate it when the display flashes red when crossing over true north. That is very distracting when driving on a north-south road. On the “classic” screen, it’s overkill to have three direction displays simultaneously: compass rose, numeric heading, and textual heading. I would rather see my speed displayed in larger font in the center of the compass rose, and move the numeric heading readout to just above the top of the compass rose. Please get rid of the red screen!

Compass. OMG!!! I wanted a compass to use since I moved so that I can make sure of sun and wind direction. I mentioned it to a friend that I needed to buy a compass. He said there’s as app for that! Sure enough I got it on my iPad. I am a technically challenged 86 year old woman...now I know where I am and exactly where to plant my flowers in the Spring. Thank you so much! God Bless All!

Compass Deluxe. Sometimes it’s nice to know where you are going🤔 When in mountains it’s hard to know where you are or if you are making any progress until you get near the top and can look back to see your progress. The compass gives you direction and altitude so you have a better idea of where you are at in your journey 👍 Course you can still be lost to where you are at?😜

Fair tool but could be much better. It would be nice if I were able to double tap the screen to set a walking azimuth. Also, the ability to see grid coordinates on the screen in MGRS or lat long would be another nice option. If I was able to have a walking azimuth to others that had the app would be a great tool to use if I were at a park and trying to find someone. Just my two cents.

The Basics + The Fourth Dimension. For geography enthusiasts while traveling or at home; finding the altitude of an area, the orientation of familiar or newly discovered buildings or other structures, this compass accesses the accuracy of GPS and combines fundamentals of geography and topography to provide the information we want to know. I immediately opened the added features to access mph (traveling speed) which provides the fourth dimension of time when analyzing topography while traveling.

last0ne. I have down load it to use on the watch, and install on it, but can make it work just to try to see if it works and how it works. I use TestFlight for other developers to see and give input on their apps and I was wondering if you have a try out the compass on my watch 4? Can’t give you a good review do to I wanted to use mainly on the watch. I put 3 stars for the UI, but since I can’t make it start on the watch I don’t have enough to go further. Regards

Great for everything!. This is a very, cool, awesome app! It tells me where I’m going. It has elevation, and temperature! It’s perfect. The next time I’m in a airplane, I’ll see how high I am and which direction I’m going. I’m only asking for two things please. One, add a Apple Watch widget so I can check or go to the app on my watch face. And two, can you update the app? You don’t have to do my suggestions. Have a great day!

Lost. With my iPad cover on, it is off by 50-55 degrees. It doesn’t matter which way I point the iPad. If the cover magnet we’re doing this, then the error in pointing would vary by orientation. Passing an iron plate near the iPad does not alter the error. Elevation is off by approximately 23 to 26 feet, no matter how long I wait for GPS stabilization. If these are that far off, I surely wouldn’t spend money to upgrade an app which would in all likelihood remain unusable. And since the cover is an essential part of how I use the iPad, it will not be removed.

Okay. This is a great utility for iPhone! Good functionality, and great compass. However, iPhone has a built in compass , weather, and flashlight. This app has ads at the bottom, which makes the app a little buggy at times, freezing and crashing. Also, the compass is very inaccurate at times when using on iPad. However, since this is free, you might as well give this app a try. It is a great utility for iPhone, to have 3 different functions in one place! Just needs improved compatibility and bug fixes.

I needed a compass and there it was. It’s as simple as that. I was standing in my garage, I can remember like it had just happened. It was the end of an in unseasonably warm week in North Carolina, there was a slight chill in the air and I found myself in need of knowing the four cardinal directions... honestly, it worked flawlessly and did what it was supposed to do.

Great Compass App!. Downloaded this app a year ago to use when camping and hiking - it has never let me down. It works better than my old-school analog compass. I love the fact that True North is always in red and that I can constantly see the altitude while hiking in higher elevations. Keep in mind that the app will not work if you have a magnet attachment on your phone cover. I use a high impact case while hiking to avoid any misreadings. The updates to the app are very regular and the support team is incredible. Needless to say, this is my go-to-app while enjoying the outdoors.

Compass. Really like the Compass on my phone very clear easy to read. Mike automobiles installed compass stopped working and this is a very easy way to have a Compass available, but not have to have your mirror replaced. I get very easily turned around and this is very convenient.

Doing something hard and making it look easy. Compass Deluxe is the best compass App without question, that it is also free boggles the mind. How they do it or why they do it you'll have to ask them. Me I just enjoy, I go to strange places for money and sometimes I leave on a jet plane sometime I leave on my two old legs that's when you really want to know exactly where you are. Sometimes a few feet are the difference in going home or going to jail. Deluxe Compass has gotten me out of a few sticky situations you don't forget that. Thanks Guys.

Useful.. I wanted to do some quick math to see when I’d be able to see the moon from my porch (unfortunately the result was 2 in the morning) and I looked for some apps. I downloaded this one because it had 4.5 stars and when I used it it was quick and precise. The only thing I don’t get is why the thing turns red at exact north, but that doesn’t matter. Overall, very useful

Compass App. I initially had problems with the upgrade version of the App (it would change to video clips from the Weather Channel) but it was quickly repaired. Apparently it was a known problem that began with the newest Apple OS change. The App is now running as it should and is handy to have. The App tech was quick to respond to my concern which makes all the difference.

An astronomers best friend!. This compass program is one of the best I have used. The display is excellent and it is a handy helper for sky searching and finding north to align a telescope mount. You do need to find the magnetic deviation to arrive at true north but the answer is only a google minute away! Nice going folks!

Cured my cancer. I was dignosed with stage 4 kancker and compass told me north so i went north and found cure thanks compass for saving millions including the east and west which i like not as much as north because there is no red and red is my favorite gender so i think north is of utmost importance due to its red thank you Valhalla is coming south is a failed abortion nobody likes south

Decent app. This app has its downsides and upsides. One thing I noticed was that either the compass is complete bullstuff, or it’s just the earth spinning round and the compass is correct. This is because I decided to do a test and put the compass facing north, swipe away the app for 15 seconds. The moment I come back it shows that it’s 42 degrees east. Please fix this issue because I’m not sure whether it’s correct. Have a wonderful day and stay safe :^)

Great app. I downloaded this app because if you have an iPad you would know that it doesn’t come with a compass so i was looking for some apps and this one caught my eye because I’ve downloaded other ones in the past and there would always be a payment so when I saw that it was free (most of it) I was so happy i now download this app on all my devices when I travel I like to use this app as well anyways I hope to leave a good impression on this app that’s all please give this app 5 stars.

Oh No!. Whenever I go North all I see is “Oh No!” In BIG fluorescent letter. I don’t want to fix it I like the phrase “Oh No!” I think this is a bug but almighty and enlightening devs please do not patch this unintended effect for it read in perfect iambic pentameter. When I see the Blurple fluorescent lights it pleases my base animal instincts via activating my retinas thus highjacking my reward pathway. Cocaine could never be this visceral, and trust me I’ve tried. Just thinking about “Oh No!” is just so Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Also mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, anyways I digress mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Despite this euphoria I am honestly disappointed in the packaging of it as a compass app. This is a million dollar program that can give happiness to the world with its Blurple appeal. M

Exceeded my expectations. I’m literally the old dog learning a new trick. I love this app. It works great on my IPAD. I will always carry a compass when hiking or trekking, but this is an excellent digital compass. I really appreciate the Temp gauge and the large size. The more I use it, the more impressed I am. This app would make an excellent teaching aid for first time compass users.

Nothing better at this price. What could be better for getting your bearings in life: readily available, no charge, and totally user friendly. When traveling in foreign cities it’s fun and accurate and allows for some adventures finding desired locations. It’s great.

Please read.. So, to start things off, the app is great. It does not use Internet, and it works greatly on iPads. Now, I'm pretty sure that the direction is accurate. This is a very sophisticated app, and I suppose I would recommend this app for fellows that just want a simple app to record the direction they are facing and/or to go in a certain direction to get where they supposedly need to go. Now, I, honestly, did not have a personal need for this tool, I just wanted to test this app. But not only that I wanted to test this app, I downloaded it to assess any needs I may need in the future of my life. And as other people would need this app for a sort of personal need, others may want just as myself wanted. Thank you for your time, creativity, and most importantly, have a merry day.

Challenge!. I think this app is great! It would be even better if it included latitude and longitude, which is the challenge. I feel uncomfortable if I don’t know where I am on the planet! My late father was a forward observer while serving in the Army. He had to trig out the enemy, which the artillery used for aim. I know we can gps everyplace now, but it’s good to be aware of the background and foundation for the modern creation. He also told me this reason when I took trigonometry, and complained that I couldn’t see the application in my world. I aced the class because of him, and his logic. This app is user friendly, too. Church Group Rescued. This is Very easy to use , as we were able to find our church’s men’s single group retreat class that had become “lost” last weekend. They were found at what they describe as a small , boutique private zoo on the other side of town. You had a quirky name spearmint rhino, but sounded great. We even Used the app to direct an UBER to go pick them up. Apparently the animals are all nocturnal in this zoo , as it was 3 AM. But the men all came home, enthusiastic and full of the spirit. The pastor and I have decided to surprise our teen group next week and take them to place . It will be a Full Moon that night and The venue apparently has special attraction/guest naturalists coming through just for that occasion. The exact details are a surprise that will be revealed at night but we’re so looking Where you forward to another night at the spearmint rhino. Thanks Compass Deluxe What a lifesaver Compass Deluxe.

Accurate compass. I’m an amateur astronomer and use this app to show me where objects will rise and set on the horizon, and rough align a telescope mount to the North Star. It is very accurate. What I would like to see added is show both magnetic north or true north, and have degrees on the dial. I know how to calibrate the app from using the Apple app, instructions should be added for those that don’t know how to calibrate. Users should also be advised that accuracy will be affected when near metal object and inside autos. This is a good app and recommend it to others.

Quick and Easy. Quick easy and handy! I use this frequently when Glamping to help determine if my camp site is facing the right direction. Only thing I can think of to improve it for me would be the ability to save a favored location for future use in planning future trips. Still love it though.

Too Many Ads. Your app is amazing but I wish it didn’t have so many ads. I think a good feature would be having somewhere you can click if you want premium. The ads are very annoying and distracting. Overall I love it, but it always asking if you want premium plus the ads are distracting and annoying. I really do love it but if you could work on those two things, it’d be even more amazing!!

Better than my old compass. Works great, with my old compass, my Tates, I was always getting lost, with this one I’ve never been lost. Of course my old compass was quite expensive and all my friends told me I shouldn’t have purchased it. In the end I see they were right in saying, he who has a Tates is lost.

Malfunction. I have useing your compass for several years and it has worked fine. However, recently it has been giving totally wrong directions. It frequently tells me that North is somewhere thatI know it is not. This is usually 90 or 180 degrees off. Is there a way that I can recalibrate is, or some other way to fix it. Functionality. This app is great with my Apple Watch series 2. However when I upgraded to an Apple Watch series 4 I now get a never ending loading icon on my Apple Watch. I have tried redownloading the app on my Apple Watch and phone, but nothing has worked. I don’t know why it stopped working when I upgraded, but it was fantastic when it worked. I also do wish there was control center support.

Customer Service. I had a frustrating problem finding and using “Restore Purchase.” Sarah was terrific! She walked me through all of the steps necessary to solve my problem. She used her large store of patience with me I’m sure. I can’t say enough good things about Sarah and the help she provided with me. Highly recommend.

pretty good. If you just need to know which direction you’re facing, this app works pretty darn well! Although I do think that the premium features are useless since it’s a compass app, not a general information app, it is nice that they are able to incorporate some other features other than a compass for free. If you want more people to buy premium, I think you should lower the price. If you do that, you have my money!

Use it all the time. The compass app is far more than a Compass ∞. We’ll use it for elevation as we drive through mountains and sometimes to verify speed. It’s a fun and very accurate application. It’s sophisticated enough for adults but could be wonderful for children as well.

AWESOME!. I have had a few of the free compass apps. Those apps were very inaccurate, & had me driving all over the place. Instead of using GPS for everything, I am trying to learn directions in a new territory (that doesn’t have street markers, to let you know what hundred you are in). I have deleted all of the other compass apps. As a bonus, this also has a bright flashlight feature. AWESOME!

Grateful. The compass is acurate and quick. I am very pleased with this free app, I’ve used this for a few years. It’s especially helpful if I’m driving in an area I’m not familiar with. If a map/GPS driving instruction says turn North, East, etc and I cannot figure it out on my own, I use the compass to get to the next step of the directions. I’ve used it in others cities and found my way quickly. Its also an easy, fun tool to teach children and help them get a sense of direction. If I did more traveling, hiking and walking in unfamiliar areas I would want to unlock the premium features.

Compass Deluxe. I’ve tried 5-? Other apps. This one I liked the best. Simple and easy to use with just the necessities, not a bunch of settings an options. Something’s get way over complicated when they try adding a ton of stuff. This one is perfect for me.

Great app. I used this app before but had to delete a lot of things on my phone because my cell was running slow and hanging up. I thought if I removed apps that I didn’t use very often, it might help. I think it’s important to know directions, so I can find my way to safety if ever I need to. Great app. Thank you. Sharon

Quite Nice. I have an Apple Watch 4 and of course no compass therefore I wanted to find one that would also work with phone and watch. I paid $9.99 for it and although it works, I think, the developer recommended walking several steps to verify. No ads now and overall happy with it but I hope that further development will continue so that the watch might even be better

Easy!. I had another app and found it needed to be recalibrated but no instructions for how. This app instantly shows correct directions plus it has an easy to locate flashlight. I paid the little extra to get the deluxe and now it will talk to while I’m walking in the woods.

Overall it works!. The app does what it says it was going to do. However it’s a bit annoying when a popup window harasses me every second I turn on the app. Other then that the adds don’t feel intrusive at all!

Great App!. Though I don’t have premium, I was able to find my direction easily and use the flashlight. Perfect for hiking or just finding directions. 4/5 stars is a solid for a good app, but I didn’t want to pay $10 for premium. It’s a great app though- it doesn’t use service and is fairly accurate by my observations!

Boatbumper. Being a “flat lander” from So. Florida in an area where streets and roads are mostly on a grid system the compass is very handy traveling roads in the So. Carolina mountains, especially when foggy or dark. I wish I’d had the app years ago while navigating So. Florida waters. Thank you for sharing the compass to an old sailor.

Needed a lot of work and care to it! I LUV IT!!!!. I literally think it took two years to understand and animate the app. I just imagine how long, how much work, and how much care was in this app. Unlike some other apps, like games, the creator of this app is so amazing to care that people who don’t understand their derections,(sorry if I missed spell that) like north, east, south, and west, this app will help them A LOT!!!🙃🙂🙃🙂😃

Awesome 👏. Is great for my iPad, although the flashlight part doesn’t work on it, but I got it for the compass, not the light. It is really cool that it gives the temperature of where I am! It was an amazing unexpected feature🥳 I like that I can change the format from original compass to big letters that are easy to see. The best feature is that the whole background turns red when you are pointing your device due north🔴👍 This app is really cool! I would definitely recommend it👍👍👍

Best Compass I’ve Used!. This compass is pretty cool and functional. Buy the premium version. You can control your iphone flashlight from the compass. I keep saying compass but, this App is much more than just a compass and flashlight control. On foot or driving you will get pretty much every standard location reference (Sea Level) to just name one example. Buy It! ✌🏼❤️🖖🏾

HHHMMMM, some compass, .... While the compass works as it should, it could be better if it had a counter wheel inside of the compass so that one could use it like a protractor, finding out how many degrees one needs to move to get to a location, ... kinda like a map readers tool, ... which could be used for a lot of items such as setting up a saw, or other tools like maybe a drill, ... line of sight is ok, but being able to put a spot directly onto the mark, is even better, ... ya know what I mean?

Tracking Along. Louisiana swamps are not user friendly. Flooded bottom land feels like walking in the jungles again. Once upon a time my old compass and I were inseparable. Times have changed along with technology. I move with confidence knowing my knowing my bearings are always correct .

Important To Have. We were out hunting when a fog rolled in. I couldn’t figure out how to get back to the truck. I couldn’t see twenty feet and got completely lost. I thought about the compass and tried it out. I didn’t want to believe the compass and was sure it was wrong. I found the road and the truck all the while thinking I was going in the wrong direction.

Great Compass app!!. Coulda used this baby yesterday when we got directionally challenged bushwhacking thru a remote forest preserve with our dogs. We were intending to head west but unknowingly on a due north bearing. Easy to get “turned around” in dark, old growth woods on an overcast day, with a half hour before sunset. If it ever happens again, having this app would be more than comforting. Love it, thanks!!

Wilderness survival upgrade!!!. This is serioulsly Outlook of date, where are all The letters inbetween? Where is NNE or SSW? My question is why are their only N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW, why is it so hard to just add 24 more letters? Plz respond.

Kayaktwba. No indication or help to identify true north from magnetic north. On my iPhone the headings seem reversed eg. what should read 10 degrees ( or 010 deg) as I rotate to the east is displayed as 350 degrees. Very confusing

Doesn’t work on Apple Watch. I purchased got the app and upgrades to pro straightaway as wanted to use on the Apple Watch. The performance of the compass on the Apple Watch is terrible, so bad it is not worth having. It should not be sold as a Apple Watch app.

Top App. Very happy with this. Big and super-responsive. Maybe won't use it for South Pole treks because of the True/Magnetic divergence lack (just jokes!)

Doesn’t work don’t get. This compass is just completely wrong, I compared to my iPhone 8’s built in app and it just showed the complete opposite. My phone was pointing the correct way north whilst my iPad was saying I was facing south! This is a dangerous app especially when you need to find you’re way home without internet. I suggest you just to buy a real compass or find a better app.

Get what is needed. I mean it is a compass app so really all you need is directions and maybe elevation. It’s totally free and amazing, and as I am a Muslim I need to always make sure that I pray facing west so it really helps. Nonetheless a great and simple app!

Great compass, ads are anoint though. It is a great compass with excellent features like big letter. The ads can get a bit tedious. You don’t get all the features without paying but otherwise great!

Travellers in Nth Qld. This has helped us enormously to set up out Vast satellite TV. My husband can’t live without football and this gives it to us. Very happy with it in my Apple iPad.

Unreliable at startup. Got this for my iPad 7th Gen, as Apple version not available. When first opened, indication is way off and pointer display is “sticky”. Took a few minutes before things smoothed out and looked trustworthy, but won't stake my life on it. Presumably it needs to connect to internet to download temperature data, etc, hence the delay. (My iPad is wi-fi only). Not tested with no internet connection. I'm guessing it displays magnetic North, so different to true North, and another error to consider.

Helpful. This app is very helpful with schoolwork and directions, I recommend this app. Very useful and helpful and fun when you play scavenger hunts! But whenever you go out then back in it asks you about getting premium witch is SUPER ANNOYING! Whoever is the inventor PLEASE FIX IT!

Works But cannot have a magnetic phone case. Ok, purchased and had issues. So it’s not a scam! My problem was my home had an magnetic backing.. mucked up compass reading. A refund was processed and payed back to me. Thanks

Compass review. Well I’m an Uber nerd proud of it. I really like the app for aligning solar panels. Pretty snappy app guys. But alas the closest I’ll come to catching a fish or a pig god forbid is one of the 3 Majors lol I’ll use the app to hunt down coles in my Toorak Tourer. Living the dream. Great app

Great but!. It’s a great app, but I found myself soon deleting it. I could put up with the ads, but what was super annoying was every time I opened the app, a large pop-up window appears asking me to upgrade, I’d have to answer “no” every time I used it before I could continue. I’ve no probs buying in-app purchases, but annoying me right at the start to take my money every time was a bit much.

Why did I even download this???. This app can be helpful but the the tab window that asks you to buy premium when you was so annoying I uninstalled it

Just a little bit annoying. Every time I log into the app, it tells me to get premium features. So I have to click on “not now” to get into using it. (Anyways, I’m just a kid so I just play with it.)

This is amazing. I needed a digital compass for school, and this was the perfect one! It has great features and is suitable for young kids and older kids. This is because you can change it to big letters instead of the actual compass which is much easier for little kids. THIS APP IS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accuracy. I was a commercial pilot for 53yrs and I am glad this rubbish was not part of the aircraft nav system. Out by at LEAST 40 degrees.

Compass doesn’t work. I have an iPhone 8 and the compass is static and doesn’t move at all. I tried several different things and basically gave up

Just won’t work on my iPad. Have tried for 20-25 minutes,....just cannot get this app to work. Calibration won’t finish before disappearing....directions swing around,....mostly nearly opposite from what I know to be directionally approximately correct....don’t see any option to force calibration....now deleted as useless.

Great. I rotated my phone all 3 ways to recalibrate phone and the compass was reading backward afterwards. Just closed and reopened all fixed. Works good

Canadian wind storm. last night as the 60km an hour plus winds were blowing down the chimney to our wood stove and stripping soffit from the house i felt that it was important to what direction the wind was coming from that was creating this much destruction so i would be pre warned in the future this compass app would beautifully when i needed it to

Updated Review. I was able to receive a refund through Apple Pay. Thank you for the kind response from the developer. Other than that the compass app works as you’d expect. I use it to confirm which direction properties face and it works for its intended purpose. Just have to make sure I keep an eye out for when a pop up shows up to purchase and not be so quick to push buttons that activate my Apple Pay. —- Was charged on app for feature I don’t need Don’t recommend downloading. This app charged my Apple Pay $13 for a speedometer function I didn’t want. Function isn’t even accurate or necessary. It charged me because I tried to exit the app.

Very good app.. I don’t use it much but when I do it works very well. A compass is a welcome tool when you are in a strange city or town or just to cruising around in the country. The best feature of all is the level. I use it the most.

This is a good app. I like to look up to the stars and see what is going on and sometimes when a event is about to happen and the video I am watch says in like for example so I don’t turkey know which way that is by heart and I need help from my device and this app has helped me experience beautiful space events

App doesn’t work on iPad. This compass app doesn’t work on my iPad or iPhone. It reads 150 -180 degrees off. It is better to have no compass than one that doesn’t read right . I hope that it doesn’t kill anyone.

Very accurate. As aircrew member all my life, I have with many navigation devices and I find this to be very accurate. As a bonus it’s not affected by surrounding ferrous materials!

Works well. I've been using the free version and Constantly Referencing this app's accuracy to my Mariners compass and handheld magnetic compass for the past 3 years and find it to be accurate and dependable. Having the compass on my phone along with my charts, I find it simple and easy to use,although only for reference as it is essential to have a properly set up and adjusted magnetic compass forCoastal marine navigation.

Amazing!!!. I downloaded this for my iPad because the pre installed one didn’t work properly. I’ve tested the accuracy of this compass and it’s Always been 100% accurate. I’ve done MANY weeks or month long trips into the wilds of BC, Ontario and Newfoundland over the years where my life depended on the accuracy of my compass. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to put my life in the hands of this app. I’ve only wrote 3 reviews for apps in my life. Two were for horrible apps. The consistent accuracy, handy features, very low battery drain and simple elegance of this app inspired me to write the most positive review I could. Well done Developer!

I should have read the specs. I wanted a compass app for my Apple Watch, and this one was on a list for top apps for the watch...only it doesn’t appear to work on my watch. I should have made sure before buying the package, although I’ve spent $5 on worse things.

Y'know I needed this compass!. Well first the app is very great and I wish for this app to have a storm detector or Anything that has to do with storms idk because there's a storm going on right now! And it said it was going east and idk where's east so now I know!

Love it!. I only need this for setting up my Tailgater satellite dish when we go camping but WOW, it works great! Easy to read and very accurate, it even gives you elevation and temperature. I am so NOT disappointed!

This is the best compass app. Love the large typeface and altitude. Since you’re so good at this, write a truck stop finder app for over the road trucks. My favorite used to be “Truck Stops Pro” but they no longer support iOS. THANKS. Keep up the good work.

Astronomy. I use it for telescope alignment. An option to point at true north would be nice. Deviation could be looke up by location automatically. Otherwise, I find it works well.

Disturbed. I have never once in my life had an experience as such. This app poisoned my whole family’s mind. Ever since everyone in my loving household started using this cancerous app, they all now are mindless compass gurus. I do not suggest this app unless you are prepared and willing to constantly be reminded what exactly degree and angle you are headed every three consecutive minutes by your annoying family.

Response from developers in my junk mail. The app does not work on my Apple Watch Series 4. I asked for assistance. The developers response was in my junk mail. They say they are working on a solution. Problem may be related to Apple Watch update.

I like this app. The only reason why I’m leaving a 3 star review is because every time I open this app, it tells me if I want to unlock premium. And every time I have to say “Not Now” and it gets very annoying. O there than that I really like this app. If you could please fix that I will change this review to 5 stars

You lost me. It seems good. I downloaded it intending to spend time with the free version to make sure it worked as it should, but every time I open it I get hit with a screen asking if I want to upgrade to the premium version, and I have to say Not Now just to get it out of my face. So now, not only will I not pay the $10 for the premium, I’ll just delete the app altogether. Don’t annoy your customers like that and you’ll be more successful.

Accurate or not?. It appears that the directions are accurate. I had a Compass app on my iPhone and it was giving me the wrong directions But so far this one seems to be professional.

Very useful orientation tool. I’m currently in Rome and not familiar with this huge city, it’s rabbit warren of streets, or orienting to direction. This app and a fair map have enabled me to independently navigate to and from anywhere I wanted to go. The app enabled me to orient my map and I just followed landmarks and cross streets. Love the app!!

Simple and Effective. Very clear, easy to read compass. I checked it against a standard and a digital compass and it is spot on. I’ll happily recommend it to my friends to have on their phone as a backup compass when out adventuring.

What I could see from my own experience is what I used. I now know that I was not very accurate.. The APP gives an extra layer of correctness to the direction you use for your projects

Stuck on 45 degrees and won’t move.. This compass doesn’t move. I’m not sure if it's my iPad’s problem. But if it works I’m sure it will be great. Please fix this. BTW I’m not using device cover. I think it’s because my device is a magnet. It sticks to iron and steel things.

Love it!. I mainly use this compass for feng shui for my home but it’s came in handily for hiking as well. I’m very direction illiterate so this is awesome and it opens your phone light with one click as well so that’s very cool. I’d definitely try it! The paid version gives you latitude and extras.

Wonderful. This app is great! I have used to do land navigation while camping and has never gotten me lost. Works great everywhere and I do like the elevation feature as well. Helps me verify my location on terrain maps.

Excellent compas. It does what it's supposed to do. I tried another one that worked the first time it loaded then always pointed east. This works on the iPad 1. Easy to use and shows the direction accurately. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Double check. I have checked the accuracy of the compass several times each time it was a exact match reading with a expensive model my friends as well as I have. I would highly recommend this app.

Works when you need it!. Use it all the time for work to find position of front door of a property. Unlike many adds it doesn’t take long to load and works great!

Three stars. Works but rather inconvenient.. I originally gave one star because the app would work. The developer responded and suggested I remove my iPad from its case because the hasp has a magnet. I removed the cover and the compass and other feature now work. It is, however, inconvenient to remove the cover each time.

Simple yet great!. Easy to use, not a bunch of undecipherable crap to have to wade through to use it. Just a great compass to tell you north south east and west. Use it for my business all the time. Works great and is dead on with other known calibrated devices.

Simple and Accurate. Well done, the App gives you information you need in a very direct and uncluttered way. First, a compass that’s just like the real you had in Boy Scouts, Elevation above sea level, and Temperature. It’s simple, and most importantly idiot proof.

Nice features, but.... Unless you pay $5 to remove ads and opening pop ups, you will be irritated. That said, the added features are appreciated compared to the free iPhone compass app which is sufficient for most. Note to some complainers: no compass will work if you use a magnetic phone case.
