Not bad. I love the fact that it has haptics and the typing experience is better than Apple’s native calculator. The free version has no ads so far which is something I love, just limited features. I think every third party app should do this instead of bombarding us with useless ads in their free version. Just limit the features so that people can get the premium version. My only complain here is the fact that you have to pay to change the theme of the calculator. I’m not a student so I’m find with the free version. It’s better than Apple’s in my experience.

It good to use. So I use this for homework because I did not get it so when I told the A.I my problem it easily show me the answer and show me how to do it so I think this is A good app the use of you don’t know math that much

Simple but limited. Buttons are good and large. I’d like to be able to edit the formula line instead of just being able to go back. Also, there should be a running summary shown before needing to hit the equal button. One thing all these apps need to do is let the user actually use them for a while before asking for rating. Otherwise it’s good and simple.

This came up under free calculator! It’s not free…. I asked my husband to put the same feee calculator on my Ipad air that I had on my old iPad. My husband found it when he searched “iPad air calculator free” in the ap store and sent me the download link where I saw that not only did it cost $5 something and change but then it was going to cost to keep a subscription. I was pretty steamed at him, but really I should be steamed at apple. It’s ready for me to download but I do not want to get stuck with more payments so I won’t…

Nearly $260 a year for a calculator - No way!. The calculator is great and has some unique features I would gladly pay a fee for, but nearly $260 a year is just wrong, particularly in this economy. I get it that it gives you access to other apps, but I don’t need other apps, and the pricing to access its best features puts it out of reach for those that could use it the most. Add to that the data this app tracks makes it a cybersecurity threat. I’ll stay clear of this developer.

If your working with money don’t get this calculator!. Hi! I was looking for a calculator app for my new iPad I found this as my first option. I have been using this for a few months with no problems but just recently I got a gift card from someone in my family so I was keeping track of how much I had then the next day it deleted my total!! So I thought I had a good amount of money so I was buying stuff and come to find out my card didn’t have enough!! So now I owe someone a good amount of money! Maybe for a update you should make the amount save that would be a big help for other people to not have the same problem as me!

Odd. I mean it has the most basic features of a calculator. That’s good I guess but having to pay weekly for a few features that could be helpful is a bit annoying and sketchy. Like why do I have to pay 5 bucks a week just to be able to use a picture to solve equations when I can just google it? was actually happy to see that I could just take a picture of an equation and get the answer immediately instead of googling it :/ nobody will pay for a feature that google can do for free

👎🏼 recent upgrade. upgrade adds an opening title loading screen… it’s quick, but can get very annoying if wanting to access a calculator asap. also, “Math AI” which was a free text prompt feature, is now only available to paid users. definitely a downgrade from previous versions.

Eeww. Apple needs to make a change to air calculator it needs to have where everything is free so including the pictures to where I can use the air calculator so I can do my math. I can’t use the camera because I don’t wanna pay 499 a week just to use a stupid camera so I can get the answer to my math faster. I left a bad review because of this. Thank you.

Pay to win, basically.. I’ve been struggling really bad in math for the past month and I though I had FINALLY found something to help me, but you’ve got to pay to use all the features, and the only free thing is a basic calculator you already have on your phone. I understand you need to make money but I can’t afford to pay that right now, I’m not even old enough to get a job or have my own credit card, and I know my parents wouldn’t pay for it, regardless of how much it was. Do not get this if you’re looking for something FREE. I get that it’s cheap and you have to make money somehow, but maybe make an ad version for people who cant? Thanks, I’ll stick to google and low grades for now.

🔥Hear me out🔥. Okay listen up, so basically i needed i calculator to get since i never had one and needed one. Now the thing is that i downloaded this app thinking it was just a normal calculator you know? Then when i downloaded it it said subscription and stuff and seriously? Are you joking? Money 💴 for a Calculator? So you clearly need money for this app so i don’t recommend this app if you just need a calculator on your phone or Ipad.

Asks me for a rating after every entry. I JUST got this app - maybe 20 minutes ago. The single star is because I can’t even make it through an entire problem without being asked if I like the app. How about giving a person a chance, and let them have the app for a few days (like most apps) before hounding them for a rating? Also, I see no option to uninstall the app, as I was going to do that after the 5th interruption and use a different app. Poor impression.

Great Calculator App. This calculator is an improvement over the standard Apple app. From showing your work, more intuitive operating system to a much more featured scientific calculator I'm very satisfied that I took the time to give this app a test drive. It is now has a permanent spot on my home page.

A bit annoying. Works just fine as a calculator, but the constant requests for a paid thing with this is just dumb. Not to sound entitled, but I personally feel that all mobile devices deserve some kind of free built in calculator and not have to pay for it.

It’s great!. I would rate this app a 5⭐️ but you have to pay to use some other stuff; taking pictures of math problems and some other things I didn’t use. But other than having to pay it’s a great app! Also there are some problems that they don’t have Solutions for. But I still love this app!

Fraudulent charges. When I look at app history, I used it 2 times for basic math a year ago (Jan and Feb 2022). When I enter the app, there’s a screen asking for me to sign up for a plan which I haven’t signed up for. When I look at my receipt, I suddenly started paying $4.99 per WEEK in November even though I haven’t used the app since February per app history and my memory. When I go into iTunes to manage, my only options are “do I want a subscription or do I want another subscription,” no place to cancel. When I go into the app, no place to cancel. WHAT A SCAM! I’ve turned it in. With all the evidence in hand.

The best for math if u got money. I saw this on a add and I needed a better calculator for my iPad so I can do math,so I downloaded this,and it was pretty good for me so I used it whenever I got homework and I NEVER got a question wrong after using this but it does cost me some cash and I think you should fix that but overall it’s quite good but you should make it for free and that would be better! 😀

Great App!!! 👍🏻. Hi, Im Justin, a 6th grade student. I started learning algebra 3 months ago and this calculator helped me a lot. It includes all kinds of formulas for algebra and helps me understand. I tried other calculator apps, but this one is the best! The only thing is if there is a help sheet to know what which button does what. At first when I wasnt good at algebra, i didn’t know what each button meant, so I hat trouble. Hope you response. Unpretentious and Simple. Most Every calc has an annoying way of interrupting your app use, but not this one. In another app, now long gone, it forced an ad on me when I was using it and just when my boss wanted an answer right there.

Why isn’t there an app where I can just get help and not have to pay. I have to pay to use every single feature, even just to take a picture and solve it that way, when there are actually plenty of other apps that give me the answer, however not this one. This one has been the worst one of them all. But still, for all the others, you have to pay for them all. Every. Single. One. Everyone just wants money. How hard is it to find a little g0dd*mn help?!

TAKE AWAY INTRO SOUND!. I love the app and the calculation memory feature, but PLEASE take away your intro "swoosh" sound. No one cares about the swoosh sound, and it always interrupts whatever we may be listening to (classes, music, podcasts, whatever). I hate it that I can't listen to something on my speaker or my headphones when using your calculator app because you guys randomly decided to add a crappy swoosh sound. It wasn't like that before, please take the intro sound out and allow for us to listen to things while using your calculator app.

I see people saying stuff on how everything in this app costs a subscription!! well, there’s this app called PhotoMath that doesn’t take ANY subscriptions/money. there’s a calculator feature on there, AND the photo feature that walks you throughout your problem FOR FREEE ! this helped me pass my tenth year of high-school. i’m not saying anything against this app, it’s just that a lot of the purchasers of said app are indeed a younger audience! No ads and I would 5 star. I would pay for this app if there were no ads but I don’t want the others. Everything else is great but that ad when you first start up is so annoying I end up using the one that come preinstalled just to avoid it. Like a second teacher!. I love this app. First, the calculator is easy to access on all devices and is perfect for me who is doing algebra. Second, the math AI is Al life saver. It’s saves me the hassle of emailing the teacher and even sometimes better explains it than a teacher! Please save the time and get this efficient app.

Subscription model is very Unfortunately. I believe this is one of the best calculator apps on the AppStore just for the fact that it allows you to see history. I genuinely want to use it, but the pop-up screen when you open the app is so annoying. I would definitely pay about $20 to get rid of that and continue using it. I do t really need anything else but the basic calculator and being able to see my history.

Made me pay money without permission.. One day, I was just minding my own business and for some reason I decided to find a calculator app because I didn’t have one. A little bit later on, I saw that something was charging me 4.99 a week and I thought it was my Roblox subscription. Then, I checked on my purchase history and saw that it was changing me 4.99 a week and I knew I hadn’t given it any debit card information. I had to cancel it and I have payed way too much for a CALCULATOR.

Need A Calculator App For iPad?. This is the one! I thought a calculator would be standard issue on any Apple product. My iPhone had an app installed and I was somewhat disappointed my iPad didn’t. I liked the one I was using on my iPhone and looked and looked for it for the iPad finally finding this. I didn’t even realize all the extra functionality was available on this app until one day I accidentally turned my iPad onto the side in landscape mode. It’s worth the small fee in my opinion to get the pro version. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed but, check it out yourself!

Remove the sound. The calculator is great, but the sound that plays at the beginning is annoying. I also wouldn’t mind buying this app, but a $20 subscription for a calculator is insane. And please don’t respond to this review with that copy & pasted response about the subscription unlocking access to all your other apps. If I wanted to use your other apps I would have downloaded them. I just want the calculator, at the very least offer a paid version for like $5. But y’all won’t do that because you know the only thing people want is the calculator. There’s so many calculators on the market that offer the same features, it’s unfortunate because this one looks the best imo.

Love the fact it has basic math but there is a problem…. For simple problems this app is great! It’s straight forward and gives you the answer right away but for more complex problems you need to ( you guessed it) pay money I feel it’s kinda pay - to - win but it helps with simple math and that’s the only reason I still have it

I love the lack of ads. Thank you so much for being the only calculator that doesn’t show me ads for basic use. I much prefer your approach to the problem. Is there a limit to how many times you can use the ai? I love the idea of that feature, but I’m hoping it doesn’t require a subscription to continue to use it.

Lifesaver for Parents. I am the type of person that has ALWAYS been terrible at Algebra etc. I was able to take use my finger to write out the examples she had to solve and immediately received answers with a breakdown of how they solved the example so that I was able to help her learn how to find the answer correctly!! ABSOLUTELY recommend!!

Hideous. The app was so beautiful before!!! I loved how I could see my calculations fully while I kept adding now I only see half and the “...” along with the font and image it looks so childish, I miss the old set up it was classy and attractive!!!

Just trying to find a calculator with fractions online. I do not recommend this because of multiple reasons. You have to pay to get any feature added on, which i understand but you would think it comes with atleast one free feature. I also would not recommend this because you can’t see what you were to get if you got the add-ons. This is just a normal calculator otherwise. This is not worth it to me and overall would not recommend. Did not soothe/meet my expectations.

Intrusive ads. To this day I have no idea why this application has such positive reviews. If you want a free calculator, this is not the one. Should you choose not to Pay for the full version of this application, it will prompt you each time you launch it. I just want to do simple math; I can get an actual calculator for cheaper than this app costs. I still find it acceptable that Apple does not have an appropriate calculator app to do simple things on the iPad. Relying on applications like this has been an inconsistent experience at best.

No basic algebra?. I might just be stupid but why is there no x? There’s x to the second power, x to the third, but no just x? You can’t make exponents on your own though. And you cant write 3x = 9 or something like that because the = button just tries to solve the problem. And where are the steps? Do you have to pay for that? Does it come with the ai bot which I don’t see either? If all of this is behind a pay wall that’s stupid but I might buy the subscription if their other apps are good.

It’s ok I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️. So I saw an ad for this app a few days ago, and I final decided to download it today because some math homework I had was kind of hard. I downloaded it and went straight to the photo feature and it told me I need a subscription to use it. After I went to the import photo feature, but that also needed a subscription! Everything besides the regular calculator needs the subscription to work!! I’m in 7th grade, I don’t usually get money from my parents for subscriptions on apps so this kind of bugged me. Other than that though the app works pretty well, but I’m still upset… 😕

Don’t even try this Calculator Air App!. I always read through the description and reviews for an app. There’s always good and bad reviews. 1. The first thing I see is a message on the first start of this app that this app will cost $4.99 to use. Ugh 2. Click Continue, and it goes directly to the Pay For This App 3. Didn’t even get to try it and your asking me to Pay. 4. Description says there are free features and pat features. How can you say that if you can’t even try this app first before you pay for it. You need to correct your description to this is a Paid App Only, because that’s not truthful and misleading. There needs to be a Flag to ask for Apple Moderator to review the description and make the developer correct the misleading statement. This needs a Zero Star Rating in Red to warn other consumers.

Why would I pay money for a feature that is expected?. I downloaded the app to test, use and play around with, and I downloaded it because it’s main gimmick is that it can solve problems with a picture. I’m supposed to pay money for it, which is not great, as all it gives you is the feature that was, in my opinion, supposed to come with the app. Without paying for it, you just get a normal calculator.

ANNOYING AND ASKING FOR MY RATING EVERY SECOND.. I’m a middle schooler who happened to need a calculator for math class. Due to me not having one I decided to download a calculator app . Nothing harmless right? Great. It does everything I need w/o being complicated. It has a back arrow to delete, which was very hard to find on so many apps. I just needed to do the basics. Only one ad when I first open up app which u can get rid of easy enough.

Excellent value for a free app!. This is an excellent app. Feels like a native apple app and the interface is very user-friendly. I especially love the AI option. Ofcourse there are some paid features but it’s definitely the best if you’re just looking to add that all familiar apple calculator to your iPad.

Don’t even bother downloading. This is literally just a paid or ad-filled version of the free inbuilt calculator app. Just turn your phone to the side when you’re in the free app and you’ll have all the same options. It doesn’t even look different. Total scam.

Get real. A review Don’t waste your time people. Look elsewhere. Constant ad interruption. The ad displayed on the bottom of the calculator is bad enough but I would’ve put up with it. But when the full page 30 second video ads start randomly popping up in the middle of calculating that is unacceptable! There are plenty of other calculators available out there that are free and have NO ADs at all. Putting ads on calculator apps....... what were you thinking?

Nice app but 2 star because of subscription. It is a really designed calculator app, neat and well functioned. The problem is the subscription, and I don’t need all the other apps that in the bundle. If there is an option with one time payoff for the single calculation app with a reasonable price, I will pay it for sure. I think most of the user will think like that.

Literally unusable. For the first second I open the app the UI looks beautiful and the calculator functions great. But then I get stuck in an infinite loop of full screen ads that, I kid you not, make it compeltely unusable. I cannot even begin to click a button on the calculator before another ad plays, and the only way to get rid of this is by paying a MONTHLY subscription. I would pay up to around $5-10 to remove the ads, but I am never going to pay monthly for a godamn calculator.

It charges me for no reason.. At first I was happy that the calculator’s function looks amazing, and I downloaded it to my iPhone then only used for a couple of time only. However, since last month the app secretly charged me for 4 times with a total amount of over $50 for no reason. They just sent me email but I haven’t checked my mailed box for the registration Apple ID so I totally had no ideas till I accidentally found it through my bank transactions. Luckily I claim redound and should be able to get it back in days. I remove the app from my phone but still will keep on eye on it in case it charges me without notice and permission in the future.

Doesnt include tan inverse. I downloaded it to calculate tan inverse of some numbers. And there were value of tan but not tan inverse so need to uninstall it. Otherwise it seemed gud.

Best calculator but ads, make this app so bad. I loved this app for the first week because I didn’t see a single add, but now every single time I open the app I get a full screen add that auto plays sound. Deceptive Charging. Loaded this in error, thinking It was a calculator app, I soon found that I’d signed on for a $ sub each month. For a calculator! Needless to say will be disputing charge via my card provider, and can also say this is a total rip off. Beware!

Stop telling me to get a subscription. Like every other time I open the calculator, the pesky, full-screen message appears. I just want to use a calculator, and I’m not going to pay a weekly subscription no matter what. Also, please add external keyboard support and history for previous calculations. The “=“ icon is wrongly centred too.

Forced upgrade?. I’ve had Calculator Air for a year, maybe less. I liked it because it was most similar to the iPhone default calculator. However, a few weeks ago, I opened it and new splash screen popped up preventing access to the functions and asking me to pay a premium to upgrade. I thought it would go away but it didn’t. I even tried deleting and reinstalling. The app no longer works, so I’ll have to find a new calculator app.

Absolute trash. This doesn’t offer anything better than the standard iPhone calculator app. Annoying pop ups come up every few seconds asking if you like the app and rate it. Well here’s my rating. Good luck!

Not a scientific calculator. It’s 2018. Display formulas like in the normal order like any recent scientific calculator would. Otherwise, dont label as one.

Simple calculator app that works in landscape and portrait. This is what I’ve been looking for. For years, I’ve just wanted a Calc app for my iPad that looks and works like the standard iPhone calc. This is it. I have no clue why iOS does not include calc app for iPad????

Ads. I’m not a fan of being pushed to get the air package EVERY time I open this app especially since I would’ve been more than happy to pay once for this app alone. I guess the days of not feeling like a product just because I want to use an app real quick are gone.

Calculator options. Calculator is easy to use except would also like to have a standard calculator and even a couple of financial calculator buttons. That way you can use one app instead of downloading 2 or 3 calculator apps. Overall nice to use.

Rip off. Deceptive ‘free download’ that requires outrageously priced all-or-nothing subscription bundle with all of the developers other apps. Honestly, the calculator app itself isn’t half bad. I would consider paying for it if the developer offered it as a standalone purchase without forcing you into an overpriced bundle that includes a bunch of apps I don’t need or want.

Calculations. Used mostly in conjunction with the fitness Ap, I am on track to my 150 minutes of exercise weekly, thanks to these calculations!

Horrible. It’s just the calculator app that already comes on iPhones. You have to pay to actually get the real thing. I would give it a zero cause it’s crap but it won’t let me do that so it’s a 1. Don’t get it. You basically just have to pay for something that already comes with your phone.

Great. I was in math class and my teacher let us use these it was great to click on when I was really playing Fortnite mobile really convincing that I care.

Terrible and unfriendly. When you make an app in such a way that it forces you to make a payment on the very first screen and then shoves an ad down your throat on high volume - it results in me getting irritated, deleting your app and posting a negative review. I understand you need to make money for your efforts , but when you make the trial experience so unpleasant before the ability to try out your product - this is what you deserve.

the subscription on photo needs to be removed. This is my first time using this app and I’m trying to get my work done by using this calculator but one I go to photo to take a picture to find the solution it says I need a subscription pls developers remove the subscription for the photo bc I wanted to pass my class and succeed to my dream job and go to college with my best friend

Constant annoyance. Another app that insists on launching each time with a page asking if you want to upgrade to their subscription plan. This is a calculator. Many of us users just want something a little more than the iOS included calculator. A subscription? No thanks and apparently saying no once isn’t enough for this developer.

It’s pretty good. Has some minor issues. Don’t know why they had to change apple’s standard y root of x function, to the much less desirable (imho) x root of y, but overall, as a calculator, it doesn’t fail in the myriad of other ways in which apple’s standard calculator fails.

Great Calculator App for IPad. This app is unique in that I you are not constantly spammed by advertisements or locked down behind pay walls to use simple tools on a calculator. This is hands down the best calculator on the App Store available for iPad.

Edit?. I wish we could not only go to our history of calculations but be able to edit them too. Otherwise I am satisfied with this calculator.

Very upset!. I just realized that I have been paying $4.99 a week for the last six months for some thing that I never bought. This feels very scammy. I want every last penny of the $120 I have paid, back! I am in process of seeing if my son downloaded this unaware that they are charging weekly. I am VERY UPSET!

Stupid. You CANNOT do anything that’s any different from an average calculator without paying. So dumb. Without paying 5 bucks a week it’s just a worse calculator that takes up more storage than the built in one on your phones. So if your willing to pay 5 bucks a week for this go ahead it’s not worth it. Not Ann app that you want to get if your smart and don’t like paying for their premium

its a calculator really, i dont have to say more. Theres weird pop ups sometimes and the “Ask app not to track” also happens too (idk why i would be needed to be TRACKED by a CALCULATOR) but anyways simple, modern, sleek calculator that is better than most other calculator apps.

Do not recommend this app, no reason a calculator needs to have advertisements.. I do not recommend this app to anyone because it contains advertisements when there is no reason that a calculator needs to have advertisements. When I am doing calculations, I don’t want to be distracted, interrupted with advertisements. Again, I do not recommend this app.

Don’t download. I couldn’t even handle this on my iPad for 1 math problem because it asked me for a review 4 times within a minute. Terrible. Find another calculator that won’t bug you as much. The first thing it tied to get me to do is buy an add-less version. I understand they want to make money but every other time I hit equal it slowed me down with some pop-up.

Good at First :/. I’ve been using this calculator for about a year and it’s really come in handy for my school work or any quick calculations I wanted to do. Unfortunately the calculator has been infested with ads and I couldn’t even type anything. It was very frustrating. Anyways if this wasn’t happening I would for sure give it five stars. It was very useful.

garbage. ok so i got this app because math is hard and my teacher gives us work everyday and so when i saw the picture feature i downloaded it but gosh you have to pay to use it like what and most the features all that’s locked besides the normal calculator which the only thing that changed is the freaking you get to see the equations used like come on now most of everything’s locked so now i’m deleting this app waste of my time…. it’s not that much of a waste but at least make the picture answer thing free that’s what was advertised

Great, but missing keyboard support. Works like a charm, ads are minimal and non intrusive. I only wish that I could use my keyboard with it. Also,I wish that I could buy the app with a one time purchase instead of being pushed into a subscription to a package full of apps that I don’t need.

Do NOT download this app!. I've had this app, unused, on my phone for months. "Somehow," I have a subscription for $4.99 a WEEK. I NEVER signed up for a subscription, I haven't even used the app in months, probably over a year, and no one but me has access to my phone and apps. I had to cancel a subscription I never made that has been stealing my money the last 4 weeks. I would rate this app in the negatives if I could.

Useful -- but. . .. The app has a lot of helpful functions and the primary calculator screen is easy to see. To use any of the functions besides + - x /, you have to swipe to another screen to access them and then swipe back to see the product.

THIS IS A SCAM. It makes it really easy to sign up to a premium feature and then charges you $5 per week (almost every other app is monthly). That is ridiculous for a calculator. Update: Their response basically confirms that they’re just trying to rip people off. I am going to contact Apple about having this removed from the AppStore.

Worst App Ever. First off, wth heck? You have to pay money for using the camera to calculate a problem? And the price! Not everyone on this planet is wealthy you know?
