Most items are listed as not available in my store. I use this app just to load digital coupons and save sale items to my shopping list so I know what to look for when I shop IN STORE. I do not use the shop from home or pick up service. This app is the worst. When I try to add sale items to my shopping list in the app, most of the items come up with the message ‘There are no available products in your selected store for this circular item’! This is not possible! Many, many sale items have this message: Keebler cookies, Lays chips, Coke soda. There are many varieties of each of these items. I doubt they have not one coke product in the store, or not at least one type of Lays potato chips. I just want to save the item to my shopping list so that I can look for it when I go to the store, and I can’t even do that. I have to write the items on a piece of paper, which is ridiculous. I even changed my home store to a store across town, and I get the same message that there are no available products in your selected store. I absolutely hate this app.

Shop from home pick up. I shopped a day in advance for curbside pickup. I selected a time slot and came to pick up at the appropriate time. After sitting in the car for 15m I was informed “you are still being shopped and did you get a phone that we are behind”. I replied no, heard nothing. The associate went back inside. Waited another 15-20m. Called customer service who transferred me to curbside. I explain I have been waiting. She said “did u get a text your order was ready”. I said no I didn’t receive any commutation. She said she was finishing up my order. I said should I stay or come back. She said she’s working on paperwork. I asked again should I stay or leave. I was told “you can wait or you can come back tomorrow honey”. I left! At 636 I received a text that said my pickup will be ready 530-6pm. I was there at that time. My order was NOT! The worst customer service and system I’ve had to deal with in awhile. Personally I had surgery 2 days ago. I needed to utilize this service because I can’t move much. Sitting in my car is difficult too. Communication and less attitude would have been fine and there would be no reason I would have to write a bad review. And for the record it was a small order. Had I felt better I could have shopped my order in 30m. I won’t be using this service again!

Another Botched Order. Yet again, our order failed to deliver. Allotted time slot of 5:00pm-7:00pm. At 7:40pm I contacted the Lawnide,NJ location and the manager (Eric) was very dishonest. He stated that our delivery left the facility at 5:00pm, which was most definitely false. If my food was out for 2 hrs and 40 minutes, I would have serious concern about the quality of the proteins (chicken) and other temp sensitive materials on my order. Unless the delivery van is a refrigerated unit, this causes a moderate to severe safety risk. After the false claim of the deliver being in route, Eric decided to deface the quality of ShopRites partnership with Doordash. He claimed that the driver was delayed because Doordash was extremely unreliable and not good to work with. This will absolutely be the final shop from home attempt with the Lawnside facility. I would like to state that the normal delivery driver we have is an excellent gentleman and this no way reflects poorly on him. There is obviously some serious organizational issues with the shop from home department at the Lawnside,NJ facility.

Frustrated. I am a frequent user of this app and while it has a few improvements from the previous version (variety of products), I’m required to sign into the app about every 10- 14 days. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to be ready to head into the store and open my app , only to find I need to sign in. That takes a bit and sometimes it does it to me in the store where the reception is terrible. This week my basket disappeared. I had filled my cart up intending to schedule a pickup but changed my mind and went to the store instead. When I opened the app before heading into the store, I didn’t need to log in but all the items I had placed in the virtual cart disappeared. Once I got done shopping and got home, I checked my app to check for a sale price and my virtual cart was back with all the items I put in earlier in the day. I’m starting to miss just using a paper flyer. It’s getting to be too much work. Although having ALL coupons (including the special ones that were once sent in the mail)!digital is a plus.

Digital coupons. Tried today to sign up for the digital coupons for extra savings- Went to CS for assistance and was told to DL the app and create an account... told them I was having a problem because I couldn’t find my card and I was not sure of the phone number, if I can have a new card, she refused saying no because I already have an account (but couldn’t bother looking it up)anyways I found an email from ShopRite and signed in creating a new password- check my account # and phone number... went about DL my coupons but when I got to check out...it didn’t discount... manager put in manually but at that point most of items were in the bag and could not remember everything... so of course at least six items were not discounted.... I just wish the people at customer service can be more helpful instead of brushing you off... that’s why it’s called CS.. a lot of time and confusion could of been avoided. Now I have to go back and try to get my reimbursement for overpaying. Not everyone is tech savvy, but sometimes things are unavoidable.

New upgrade. This new upgrade from last week is horrible you cannot do anything on the app…all of my information is no longer there, I can’t view the circular, I can’t check my past purchases because everything is gone! I’m so annoyed now that this new version was put out and probably wasn’t tested before it was launched. Even using my laptop there’s difficulty checking items from the circular, which only on my laptop can I view the circular. Using the app on my phone, I cannot do anything. I deleted the app to reinstall it hoping that it will refresh to what it is supposed to be but still nothing. I wrote to ShopRite and they responded that they are aware of the issues and fixing it….that was days ago it’s still a disaster. If there was a way I can go back to the old version when it was much simpler I would. I should not have to go back to walking into a store to pick up a paper circular!

Great service to have. I love being able to order from home; especially since Covid-19. I avoid going out to not risk myself or my family. The app is great but when it comes to what’s offered for substitutions, there is room for improvement. For instance, I wanted a 45 oz of butter but all I was offered was one pack of butter sticks. For one, I think they should offer multiple options, and secondly, I know the store carries more than one brand of 45 oz butter, so they should offer those for me to choose from. Also, they need to also allow you to adjust the quantity for the substitutions. If I wanted 45oz of butter and you’re only offering a pack of butter sticks, that’s not enough. Other than that everything’s perfect. The delivery of the groceries is perfect and I haven’t had any issues. I will continue to order from home. Thank you for making it possible and I appreciate the shoppers that collect my groceries on my behalf.

Not So Happy Shopping at this Shop Rite. First and utmost, quite few managerial staff members are not pleasant. They seem to be annoyed most of the time. I heard a manager tell a customer who was trying to explain to her the pricing was wrong or the product was not in the right spot she told him I didn’t pack it out, so basically it wasn’t her problem but the gentleman told her you’re the manager take care of it. I find this to be a big issue. Things are in the wrong spot or mismarked and after it’s brought to the managers attention nothing is done about it. The item still stays in that spot tricking people, thinking that the item is a certain price and it really is not. Also, I find that this ShopRite does not carry a lot of products that other ShopRites have I.e. in Wall, or even in Lacey. Other ShopRites have more of a variety and carry many more interesting and different items this store does not have. Plus the fact the employees are really nice and helpful. The cashiers at this ShopRite arec very nice considering that they must deal with the not so nice managers. I would just like to say it’s not all the managers and customer service people. There are a few that that are obliging but some are not. Being rude is a big turnoff

A to a+ (updated to B). Adding to my original review below. The last three orders in a row have had errors, items missing from order (not listed in out of stock report). Deli is a big issue, I order 1.5 lbs of meat or cheese, I get .5 lb. (third time in a row). I order high end meat cuts (receipt says what I ordered) but actual product is of lesser quality. Not sure if it’s they are overwhelmed or just the fact they are getting complacent. Worth the 4.99 fee still, but we are just running out of things from the lesser quantity. Any other time I would just stop in any given day, but the whole point of using the service and taking hours to go through the virtual aisles to get exact products is to avoid the exposure since I am high risk. First it’s a great service for the Covid crisis. Unlike Costco and Instacart which inflates prices to ‘get’ more out of you (compare the prices, you would be amazed what Instacart jacks up)...this is a simple 4.99 fee - well worth it. They send you lists of items unavailable and offer to substitute them if possible. The staff has been kind, courteous and fixes any problem or missed/left item. The app is a breeze to use, via browse or search. I love the previously purchased option. All around it’s been nothing but positive, even when there’s an issue. Well done Shoprite!

Concerns Regarding the Efficiency of the Shoprite App. App needs to be user friendly. We should not have to click on so many buttons to get the sale items registered. Flyer page should have a “circle the item” you want to buy option like Stop and Shop does. This enable easy visual to the eye for what items you need to buy once your at the store. It should also compile a compile a check out list of the things you selected to buy with the total price for customer to see. This should include visual easy to read coupons deducted from original price so customers are able to look at it like a easy math problem without getting confused. I highly dislike the current way the recipts shows calculation of a cupon being deducted from the original price, because visual looking at the receipt I have a hard time figuring it out. Also a major hassle is sales item need to CLEAR STATE HOW MANY OFFERS OR NUMBER OF ITEMS IT WILL HONOR. Right now when I read it, it is not clear and more of a guessing game. It should also clearly state whether it’s offer is per variety or per category of item.

Curbside pick up. Every time I make a pickup order there is always a problem. Either they are out of a lot of the items I ordered or they take forever bringing out the order. Or they just don’t bring it out at all. I placed an order to be picked up today between 11:30 and 12. I checked in at 11:50 and waited for almost 2 hours and never got my order. The person bringing the orders out walked past my window and I said excuse me can I ask you about my order and she just kept walking. Maybe she didn’t hear me but nobody noticed the same car parked in the same spot for over an hour? I don’t know that I will be a returning customer having to deal with that almost every time I order. I could go in but the whole point of doing pickup is so I don’t have to. I do pickup because I have health problems and cannot walk around the store and now that nobody wears masks anymore I cannot risk my health going in to the store and even when I call to tell them I am in a spot to pick up nobody answers the phone most of the time so it’s very aggravating to have to spend half my day trying to pick up my order

ShopRite’s Online Shopping is Terrible. Basically you have a 50/50 shot at getting your order delivered on time, and if there’s snow in the forecast, all bets are off. What a disorganized mess. The third-party shopper was the one who called to tell me my order today was cancelled…I received no communication at all from the ShopRite staff. Then, when I called ShopRite back to ask about my cancelled order, they said the order isn’t cancelled, they were just running late. They assured me they would deliver this evening. I saw that they even charged my credit card. But nothing arrived…later I called one last time to find out the status, and a young kid answered and said everyone in that department left for the night. Now, I have no way of knowing whether they delivered to the wrong house, or just left my stuff in the aisle or never shopped the order. No one called to let me know anything. This isn’t the first mishap…Out of 20 deliveries, about 10 went smoothly. It doesn’t matter how far in advance you place your order, or what day you pick. It’s just the luck of the draw. ShopRite clearly lacks the right personnel to manage this service effectively. That being the case, they shouldn’t even offer it. Too bad…I really wanted this to work out. But it looks like I’ll have to do my own shopping from now on. But not at ShopRite. Thank goodness Uncle Guiseppe’s opened near me…I’ll be going there from now on.

Favorite App ♥️. I truly don't know what I would do without this app! It has changed my life!!! I can now spend more time with my family, also not lose my mind inside of shop rite with 3 kids!! I was spending so much more money going inside with kids because they we're just tossing snack after snack in the cart! Now I get the ones they love and can keep on top of there stock they need. This app is convenient! Saves your past orders so all the stuff I get weekly is so easy to just add to cart instead of looking for it. Also during the week if I think of something new I need that I don't want to forget to get I just open the app and add to cart then and it saves it for me till the weekend when I place my order. Props also to the Nutley NJ shoprite women who pick me awesome produce and always call me and are so helpful if something needs to be switched out!! Thank you guys for being awesome!!! ♥️-Leone Mom

Terrible Update. I finally was happy with how the Shoprite app was working and then it was recently updated and it is just so terrible. It keeps making me choose my store over and over again and I can no longer easily switch back and forth between shopping in store, pickup, or delivery. I used to like to make my list throughout the week and then choose to check off items as I shopped in the store or simply choose to have the items shopped for me. Now when I try to switch my order to pickup it makes me choose my store (again), transfer the whole list over, etc. A real pain. I also can no longer see all of my past purchases in one place but I keep having to go back, into the next category, load more items, etc. Another real pain. To top it off, I finally got my order completed only to realize that Apple Pay did not appear as a payment option under digital wallets, which is always has in the past. I am very disappointed in this new update - I haven’t seen anything good about it. I’d much rather have the old version back!

Unable to view Circular. Hello, I have been using the Shoprite app for a while to view the weekly circular and load digital coupons for when I do in person shopping. However, since the recent major update to the app, I am unable to select any of the locations that i frequent to view their circulars. This is because when I go to select the stores from the circular tab, it gives me a list of stores for Pickup and none of mine are on that list. I am not using the app for the pickup service however; i only want to see the circular, which i can access easily from the Shoprite website but not on the app. Please look into this issue. I would also like to suggest another improvement to the app. Before the major update I did not have to make a Shoprite account to load digital coupons to my card. This is now necessary it seems, which is incredibly inconvenient because no one wants yet another login to keep track of and another company with our emails and data, but also the login system is unwieldily and seems to log itself out. I understand that perhaps developers cannot remove the login requirement for bureaucratic reasons, but i would suggest that you at least allow us to login by scanning our Shoprite cards with our phone cameras. Still, if you are able to, please go back to not requiring logins, it makes the app even less usable and offers no benefit to me at least, as i just want some digital coupons. Thank you.

Great, but with new bugs. Recently when I click on some products the app doesn’t respond, and I have to restart it or give up in frustration. Sometimes it seems to work for the first few items I add to my list, then nada for the rest. It may be worse on Sunday, when the new circular comes out and perhaps not everything is perfect yet. It’s worse on the iPad. But there are so many handy features to this app that once you fix these new bugs, it’ll be back to being great again. Old review: 1) your shopping lists used to be printable. Please restore this ability. It’s nice to have a paper list for backup 2) Once you clip a coupon, the product image fades so much it’s hard to see what it is. I barely can tell what coupons I have once I’ve clipped them. Please make it more visible, maybe lightening the picture only slightly and including a check mark over it or elsewhere that still makes it easy to see. I tend to look through the coupons quickly by image rather than text, so retaining the picture’s clarity helps that. 3) maybe I’m missing it, but I don’t see where to find my receipts. If They’re not accessible in the app, this would be a helpful extra. If it’s already there ... never mind! Make these additions and you’ll definitely deserve 5 stars.

Don’t fix what wasn’t broke. Please revert back to the old version. I’m a user that started creating shopping carts for in store shopping in order to remain on budget. I’ve given this new version quite a few months to get used to but it didn’t get easier. I like the concept of keeping the “all items/checked/unchecked”; makes it easier to create my cart with items I purchase regularly. However, the price total only reflects all items vs having a separate total for unchecked items (my actual shopping list). The new search is the worst part about this. Making it multiple step to see all items with the category/name being searched; it’s too time consuming for a working mom. It would be great if when I searched a word, ie: pasta, it brought up my frequently bought items first, but instead it gives me items I’ve never heard of let alone items I shop for. Or making my digital receipt interactive so I can just add items from there to my cart. It used to be so simple and vision friendly. This version is too much. I miss the old version very much. And if what I have mentioned are actual current options in the app, please help bc I can’t figure it out. Thank you.

Not Happy With May 2022 App “Enhancement”. Last week’s update was the opposite of an enhancement for me. It turned app from landscape to portrait on my iPad, removed most of my order history and item notes, required me to manually type in Credit card number (instead of allowing Apple Pay or CC auto fill from my device or pasting in the number). Made me keep losing time slots as I struggled to check out. I started using ShopRite curbside pick-up during the height of the pandemic, in March 2020, even though we have closer options. Recently, I decided to see if they had worked out the substitution kinks, now that the supply chain issues aren’t nearly as bad. Unfortunately, all my 2020 and most of 2021 order history and item notes have disappeared with this update. I also can no longer use my iPad keyboard since the app is only in portrait mode. Not worth it to me to invest the time to recreate all that info. I will be using Stop & Shop for most of my curbside pickup orders going forward.

Terrible service at the deli counter. I arrived at the supermarket at 6:15 and placed an order at the digital deli machine. I then did my shopping returning to the express pick up area at 6:50. My order had not been started due to being understaffed so I got on line. I informed the worker I was waiting for a specific order and when it was my turn in line a different worker bypassed me and made the order for the man behind me. He then instructed me I was standing in the wrong location and to move. Really? Should I just stand by an empty express refrigerator for hours and wait? That makes no sense. Makes more sense to inform them I am waiting for my order so they will begin it. Why does the man behind me in that line receive his order 10 minutes ahead of me??? I could not be more unhappy with the service at this ShopRite deli counter. I will not shop at this deli in the future. I realize these men want to go home but I have also been at work all day, am tired and want to go home. There is no reason that at the very least I wasn’t taken in the order of the line.

Deli Delight?????. Yesterday was the first time I went to the deli counter for some cut to order cheese. I was almost finished my shopping and there was no one waiting at the counter so I asked the gentleman behind the counter for some cheese. He looked at me and said, “you have to order at the kiosk. Really, he’s right there talking to me but no, that’s not how it’s done. So I placed my order and roamed around the store for a short time, maybe 10 minutes and went back. I didn’t know where to pick up my cheese, so I had to ask. I then looked through the case for pick up and my order wasn’t there. He said, “what are you looking for” and I told him. He was just finishing it up so he handed it to me. I asked for cheese sliced ver thin. Well every other store I have been to had always placed sheets between the slices because otherwise, you get a clump of cheese, stuck together. Not here. So I got home and ended up with a big blob of cheese that was impossible to separate. I’ll never order from the deli department again! If you don’t want to provide this service, discontinue doing it! Not only was it a mess, the gentleman was rude.

Great that we can order online. It is great that we are able to order online and have our items brought to us while we wait in the car . However, last time we waited over an hour for our order to be brought to us. It was busy and we understand the circumstances, but, more than an hour is unacceptable and a stress for both the employee and the customer. We thought by selecting the option to pick up at the store, it would be convenient and hassle free. Yet, with the time we waited, we could have just gone inside ourselves. We don’t blame the employees who were managing the pickup section as we actually felt really bad that there were so many cars but only 2 employees running around trying their best. Secondly, the app or website does not show all the items available. Often, they are not shown and when we go inside the store- the item we need is there. There should also be more opportunities for customers to have the service fee waived. Especially for customers who spend significantly every other week at this location.

Awful and slow. Terrible, TERRIBLE service. I reserved a time slot to pick up my groceries from 2:30-3:00. I arrived at 2:40 and couldn’t even locate the pick up zone. So I had to take my infant son inside so I can ask what to do. I waited 5 minutes at the service counter while a women looked at me multiple times from the office on the side and answered a phone call before asking what I needed. Once I got outside to the loading zone and texted the number I waited 15 minutes and nothing happened. My son started getting upset and antsy by this point because he’s an infant sitting idol in a car. The guy walked out and stared at my car while walking into the main part of the store and said nothing to me, I thought maybe someone else was in the building he was in so I’d be helped shortly. Another 10 minutes went by and he finally came back from the main store to the loading area where I was trying to comfort my screaming son. He almost went back inside but stopped and asked “oh are you waiting for an order?” Um yeah! Hence my parking here and text message! There are signs all over the door that say do not get out of your car or enter the doors, just text and wait. I wait another 5 minutes before he comes back out to put them in my car. By then my son has gotten so upset he’s thrown up all over himself and his car seat. I finally left ShopRite at 3:27. It should have NEVER taken that long for a grocery pick up. Absolutely ridiculous. Never again.

APP Great. I have a Great Pharmacist at My Shop Rite so the few issues I have with the APP get taken care of. I just hate wasting Her time with something should be at My fingertips. The APP needs to keep Medications I take longer in History. Some I take once ever spring. When go to fill the Script it is gone. Also a issue does not tell You when last filled a Script wish it did. And biggest problem and do not know why it is set up this way. Why in there no warning when a script needs to be refilled. I hate auto refills at the Pharmacy. Always have medications no longer taking or I do not need yet. I wish the APP had that feature just to let Me know My refill is due soon. This way I have a chance talk to My Doctor first . Some my diabetic meds change doses month to mouth . And some only take when need. A one month supply can last 2 or more. And I hate having unneeded medication around so auto refill for as nice it is for you is a hassle for Me. A warning in app would stop excess waste of Pharmacist time. Having to look up info on medications being taken. When last filled and Auto filling unneeded scripts.

Almost perfect app with one flaw. I am writing in hopes that the developers see this and can make a change to the app. Pros: it’s great that the cart does not get deleted after a certain time, it reminds you of the past purchases, so that saves lots of time, it’s fairly easy to use although the search feature is not quite as good as it could be, I often need to go into the individual aisles to find things because the search bar couldn’t find them. Con: in the portion where you can reserve a time slot for delivery, it gives you three hours to do your shopping and check out before the timeslot expires. However, as in most busy families, I suspect, I will sometimes start a list, and then I have to stop to attend to something. I come back and they are only 20 minutes left in my timeslot, not enough time to figure out what I need. Even if you switch to a different time slot, it does not restart the clock, you still have only the original amount of time left to finish everything up. I basically have to wait for the timeslot to expire to pick another one, and like in the case of today, there were no timeslots available by the time the original one was expired. It would be really good if we could restart our three hours as long as the timeslot is still open. That is the way things used to work, but for some reason, now it no longer does with the update. Please switch it back to how it was!

Fair. Nice to have a delivery service but unfortunately there is always mistakes in the products they send which are different from those I ordered, as well as amounts in that I would order one product and receive more than I ordered. There were times when I would get less and not more. Ordering a half a pound of grapes but receiving a quarter pound witch amounts to nothing more than a few grapes. Apparently, when they updated their entire site or year or so ago, it was filled with way too many glitches which was causing these mistakes. Though it’s gotten better, it’s still very faulty The women and men who work in the delivery department are very helpful and courteous so it’s a shame I have to give this honest review which is far from positive but there is no way I can give an exact figure of how much money I threw away by receiving the wrong product which though it may be five or six dollars, rather than exchange it I just dump it due to time restraints which I would consider those mistakes for worse then the ones I wrote about first. Having never enjoyed food shopping, I continue to still use their delivery service, But slowly have change my shopping habits and now use their delivery service a whole lot less. I have to say that since they in large the store, there fish department and they’re fresh meat department and deli, was not offering The same quality as they had for so many years prior to the expansion.

Awful service. I like my in-store shopping experience, but their online service is complete trash. I’ve had a much better experience with Whole Foods. I have been using ShopRite Shop from home since the pandemic and nearly every single time they claim to be out of certain items with absolutely no substitutions (even though I’ve asked to be offered substitutions). I’ve have to go inside the store before or after collecting my groceries only to find perfectly fine substitutions for basics like whole milk, eggs, gluten free bread, chicken and vegetables. With Whole Foods, there are always substations offered and if I accept them, they add them to my groceries. The straw that broke this camels back is when I showed up and had to wait over a half hour for my order and when I finally got home, the order was completely wrong; not one item was mine. Did they make it right? Yes, but they have made my shopping experience so unbearable that I now have to drag my two year old through a grocery store while trying to keep her mask on OR I have to pay almost double to use the Whole Foods home delivery service. Either way, they’ve officially lost this customer.

Decent, but still needs work.. In this time of uncertainty, thanks to COVID, this app does come in handy. It’s super convenient to have the order prepaid and ready to go upon arrival. However, it’s not without its fair share of frustration. The search engine is incredibly challenging, I only find what I’m looking for about 50% of the time, and many of the results have nothing to do with what I searched. There are many items still missing from the app’s database, though I assume that’s a work in progress. My biggest complaint is regarding the coupon function. You cannot scan/load a paper coupon into the app, instead you have to use a digital coupon from their list. You have to find the ones you need and tap them to load into your purchase. None of the digital coupons match any of the manufacturer coupons I have piled up in my kitchen, and that’s extremely annoying. All things considered, I will still continue to use the app, but I’m hopeful for some improvements down the road.

HORRIBLE UPDATE!! Change it back!!. 5/20-EDIT-it looks like the delivery part finally works. While signed into my account I changed the store to one that is farther away from me to see if I could get delivery there but it deleted my entire cart. I then went back to the original store I’ve been getting deliveries from and my cart showed back up and I was then able to select a date and time to get deliveries. This is good! But my cart shouldn’t be deleted if I move to a different store. If items that I need are available at another store, I should be able to easily switch to it like I used to do. I moved my rating to 2 stars for now. REVIEW FROM-5/18-It took me almost 3 days to get my order together and now that my list is complete, the coupons loaded back on (they were taken off on Sunday and then put back on hours later), the sale prices finally updated on Sunday evening, I’m now trying to do at home delivery (I don’t have reliable transportation going on 4 years) and it doesn’t work. I even tried everyday this week and it won’t let me reserve a date. I then see a reviewer state that only pick up is working so what are your customers that rely on delivery supposed to do? Now I have to spend another hour on Instacart copying this (over $200 list) with them and spend extra money. Shoprite your tech desk needs to get it together!! I’ll change my review and rating once it’s been tested out and works smoothly for everyone.

Very helpful. To minimize our time in the store my husband and I create the shopping list - a combination of sales from the circular, items we need, and our saved staples. We then set it to shop the aisles and each log into our account from our respective phones. He stats from one end and I start from the other and we can be done in half an hour. It really helps to pick exact items/ flavors although sometimes we need to make on the fly substitutions when items we picked out the night before aren’t available. Would be nice if items I checked also reflected on his phone in real-time. At least once last-minute changes made on my iPad before we left didn’t sync. And it’s annoying but predictable when specific sake items are not available in our store when I shop by next week’s circular on Saturday night. I have to remind my husband to check the notes at the bottom. But all in all I like it.

Needs Improvement. While there are things that I appreciate about the app, it needs to be either updated or fixed. The most rather frustrating thing about it is receiving the message that I have to wait to use the app because too many people are using it for ShopRite from home. It is understandable that ShopRite would want to manage the numbers of people doing ShopRite from home; however, it makes no sense to make someone wait for the app to work when trying to just download coupons. It has also happened when I just want to scan my loyalty card in the store, I have to wait “in line” in the app. Today, when I waited after five minutes for the app to actually work, the coupons would not download. There always seems to be something wrong with the app whenever I use it.

I have trouble. I have trouble with the app I tried to have customer service email me and the website is not working properly. I do not know why every time it asks if I’m a robot the website glitches and only shows half the pictures. I went to the ShopRite store to add my new phone number to my current account and they made me another account with the wrong information , wrong email and someone else’s name has my new phone number under another account. So now my current phone number is connected to someone else’s account and I can’t add my new phone number to my account that I’ve used before so now I have an account with the wrong number because I had change my phone number because I had too and someone has my current phone number on theirs! So it’s very hard to change phone numbers on the website, App and in the store I can’t believe how complicated and difficult it has been to just change my phone number because I do not have the old number anymore!!! Why do I have to struggle on the phone with customer service about something so simple to fix when half the times it automated lol

Delivery works well – with one glitch. The delivery system works well for me, and with the flat fee of about $15 I try to order as much as I need to amortize the cost a little. The order pickers are usually pretty accurate too; don’t recall having a problem. Where I have a problem is when they’re sold out of something and they offer an alternate product. Their choice quite often isn’t the item I would choose, so I’m forced to go without or buy something I don’t want; when I know full well that the alternate product I would choose is right there on the shelf but I can’t get it because they didn’t offer it. Two better ways to approach this would be either to offer SEVERAL replacement choices, or allow the customer a blank space to write in an alternate choice. Case in point: 1/2 gallon lactose-free 2% milk. They were short the two needed. They offered soy milk which I am allergic to, which meant I had to go without milk for the week. They could have offered any of the other lactose-free choices like lactose-free whole milk or 1%, or even a different size container. Hope someone important reads this and can fix the problem; I may have to start using a different grocery chain if I find I’m forced to do without food items I need for no real reason.

Meat Department. I was on the store last Saturday the 19th and wanted to get an angus rib roast. Was told by the butcher at the order/pick up window that angus roasts never came in. It was advertised as a 4 day sale item. Next week circular angus prime roast and choice angus were both on the front page of the flyer. So the 20th I asked again. Same butcher again said they never came in and both times was rather snotty in replying. So went back 12/26. Same butcher again, light colored hair and glasses and again at the order window, and asked about angus roasts. His reply was no. Snotty again . I asked prime was available... snotty no reply. I asked when they would be in... “I said No” spottier than before. I did tell him the dept sucked. The never came in is used a lot there for not having your advertised meat products. This is not pandemic related as it has been heard before. I have been shopping there since I moved to the area in 9/18. This butcher just cost you my business. As an aside I was a Shop Rite employee for 32 years 27 as a dept manager. There are other options available.... Price Chopper in Matamoras a Shop Rite in Newton and a new Weis in Dingmans Ferry. I want to add that Katie up front and Katie in home shopping are two great employees. Adios John Hirt

Previous app version was better. Downgrading to one star as app is no longer functional and we can not place an order. We either get a “check your connection” error or a “something went wrong” error when trying to get to payment. Admittedly, we were spoiled by the convenience the previous version of the app gave us before the update to 5.0 because it worked and was reliable. Trying Acme instead. Original review: The previous app did everything it needed and nothing it didn’t. You could add items to a list, and see what isle they were in for your store. It also remembered what you chose for your store. This new version asks you to choose a store any time you switch between Pickup, Delivery, or their new Store Planner mode. It doesn’t remember which store you chose for any of those three. It also doesn’t seem to carry your cart between the pickup/delivery and the store planner. So if you build your list in the delivery section but stop by the store, you can’t see what aisle anything is in unless you switch to the store planner view. …but the cart contents aren’t viewable in the store planner view so you have to build your list again. Overall these make the app feel much less polished and intuitive. It feels more like I would expect a supermarket app to feel like: poor. The previous version felt much more functional to me.

Has potential to be so much better.. Should have a button for each product that allows or doesn’t allow substitutions. Should not allow you to order items that are not in stock. Every single time I’ve picked up my order, the same items I’ve tried ordering are out of stock or not stocked at that particular store. The text messages I may or may not receive in regards to substitutions or order completion are so inconsistent. Once in a while I will receive a message about my order. I feel like the “notes” section is never, ever read by the employee shopper, perhaps that’s just a particular store flaw. A huge pet peeve of mine is regarding bags. There should be options for this. I want the option of bringing my own bags and the option of deciding what I want bagged by shoprite. Most of the time, I do not use any bags at all. I find that all of my orders are so poorly bagged. A lot of times I will find that several items on the same order are bagged all by itself- so wasteful. Most of the time I can’t reuse or recycle the grocery bags because there’s a piece of paper with my last name taped to the plastic bags, with no way of removing it without tearing the bag. On the flip side, I really like the ease of matching a coupon with an item you’re viewing. I also like being able to schedule my grocery order more than 1 or 2 days out.

Meh! Not as good as they should be.. I have been using the app for a while now specifically for purchasing groceries online. It was great at first, then not so much. Not sure what happened. Perishable products either come expired or are about to expire. I pay $5.00 for this service - it isn’t free- so I’m expecting at least for the food not to be expired or not to go bad in a day. Also, the food/products we order were always in stock, and lately we’ve been getting texts “we don’t have this product, would you like this one?” Well, I would expect an equally good product as a replacement or at least a variety of products I can choose from, but NO, you can only choose the suggested one. I gave it 3 stars and not 2 or 1 because some of the employees we get this service from are pretty good, and sometimes they call us to let us know when something is wrong. It isn’t the employees fault that the store is out of stock or the manager tells them to get rid of products that are about to expire first. The idea of online grocery shopping had me expecting good service and good products as if I were actually shopping for them. So to improve this experience please add more products we can choose from, always check the expiration dates are reasonable, and don’t put expired food in our bags. For other things, the app is good and works well.

Worst customer experience. I have never been more disappointed in a service than this one. I used the app to order food today for pick up as it is my only day off to do so. I scheduled a time slot for pick up as to save time. When I arrived at my scheduled time i was told that my order had not been shopped and they were two hours behind and they apologized for not calling me to let me know. As you can imagine i was upset that I now lost out on a whole day of food shopping that had I known this service was ineffective I would have just gone food shopping. They assured me that i could pick up my order later in the day and it would be ready for my at 9pm. While upset at this I agreed and said not a problem. I received at call at 8:55pm informing me they were now 4 hours behind and wanted to push my order till tomorrow and could not accommodate today. I now lost out on food shopping for the entire week as today was my only day off. Had they just told me when i placed my order they were behind to begin with I would have never used this service and would have went. I now have no groceries for the week and no free days to go shopping until next week due to work. This was the most horrible worst service i ever had and now I’m without groceries for the week. I reccomend never using this app or service

Store lines. Your store at Tuckahoe road in Yonkers is becoming unshoppable . I am aware of employee shortages and have seen the results of this in your store , having 4or 5 registers open and empty shelves not due to product shortages , but to no one available to stock them . I understand and allow for extra time while shopping . What I don’t understand is that because of the limited registers open , lines form quite often going the length of isles adjacent to registers . Now here’s the part that troubles me . …. In those long isle length lines the people on line are often down the middle of the isle or double parked with their carts making it impossible to shop the isle or even pass through . I’ve alerted the manager on duty to the problem weeks ago , and nothing is done . In fact the problem is getting worse by the week , especially now with can can sale going on . Often this is in 4 or 5 isles at a time . People block and are slow to react to requests to make room to access shelves or pass through . In my opinion a monitor of some kind is necessary to maintain order as the situation is becoming untenable . It will eventually cause myself and other shoppers to seek other accommodations . If everyone in line would co-operate , things would move smoothly . I’ve been going to the Tuckahoe rd. store for 25 years and would like to continue . Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter .

Terrible experience!!!. Worst customer service ever! I’m a single mom of 2, ages 4 and 6 and it makes it very hard to get groceries!!! Even doing pickup, slots are scarce. So for starters, Jessica from ShopRite at home was very rude and unprofessional!!! I could not believe how she behaved. I went to pick up my groceries and after getting there and jumping through hoops to get there cause of this pandemic, they tell me my payment wasn’t completed. I was confused because when I made the order, the payment posted to my account immediately! Now I wasn’t thinking to bring my card since I already paid online. Now I go outside and call my card and sure enough it says the money was taken out! I call the card back to check the transactions and then there was a refund only after they canceled my order. I call to complain and Jessica says it’s my fault that I left without my groceries and there’s nothing she can do to help but tell me to place it again for another day! No empathy and no help. Then says my payment declined when it showed it processed on my online statement that I was willing to show! She stated it didn’t matter and they wouldn’t waive any delivery fee or help me in any way for the inconvenience of any glitches of their system!!!! Glad they showed me not all of us are helping each other and sticking together during these times! Hope these glitches get fixed!!!

Clipping online coupons and problem with produce. When you unclip a coupon by accident and try to reload it always comes up with ERROR. FOR EXAMPLE I loaded a coupon but hit the load button a second time so it unclippef the coupon and when I hit it again it comes up ERROR AND WON’T LOAD NO MAtter how many times you hit it or go out coupons section and then come back to it. The coupon is good till August 8 so it’s not expired. This dames problem has been happening for months. Why don’t you fix it????? What good is the coupon if you can’t load it ? There are always fruit flies in the produce dept. and I’ve seen the staff putting wet onions and potatoes out sometimes and ShopRite strawberries always have bad spots in the container. The checkout line is too in late afternoon 4 and 7 pm. . If you get anything frozen it’s melted before you get out of aisle 10 to a register. Why don’t you get self scanners like stop and shop. You scan it , bag it and pay at a self checkout You would save on waiting in line, checking out at the register and bagging time at least a half hour -to an hour if you have a full cart

Catering Service. I am a new Shop Rite Customer. I visited this morning before work, I was greeted by a very nice security guard-who thanked me for being a front line worker, my reply-thank you sir, you are a front line worker as well, he then told me he was an EMT-and he understands the necessity of health care workers. WOW!! Awesome start to my day!! I returned later in the day, the same security guard recognized me and said back again? When I said I was back to pick up a catering order he led me to the nice gentleman who was taking care of my order. I am all about excellent customer service and what I experienced today at Shop Rite was exceptional. Also to note:the food was amazing, my children and I celebrated Thanksgiving today due to work schedules on Thanksgiving-Shop Rite has a new and loyal customer and I will spread the word Thank you for the kindness shown to me today, thank you for the exceptional catering-thank you for being a light in an uncertain world. You are truly amazing front line workers and I am grateful for the care shown to me today. Cheryl

This is a review for the ap not the service or store. Why are people soo oblivious to what they are doing? This is a review for the shoprite ap not the store you have a problem with! The developers cannot help you with bad customer service or your Karen situation. That being said… the website is beautiful and light and modern and user friendly, most importantly. But I am having trouble with my password. I have used the shoprite ap for years, and I mean like probably since it was first developed. In my former address in fancy NOrthern NJ we had the scan as you go feature and it was FABULOUS. Now I’m in Delaware and they are just catching on to using your own bags.. dark ages I know. Either way with the new ap my password never saves and I always have to re-enter it, not a big deal really. However today I tried to log in to clip my digi coupons and got the wrong pw msg. Hmm ok? Tried again, and again on my laptop and again, no luck. my phone has the pw stored correctly for sure. Laptop does not. So I decided to do the reset, and it’s been an hour and still no email to reset. So I can’t login and do the coupon thing. I know it’s a first world problem but I’d really like to save the .50c on the coffee deal today. Thanks!

Applause. I want to commend everyone at the Watchung and Clark stores. During the pandemic I shopped from home and picked up my order in Clark, since Watchung, my preferred store, does not offer this service. Over the decades I have always been more than happy with my ShopRite experiences. The employees go above and beyond assisting you as you are shopping and you could not find a more courteous group of individuals. I applaud their courage and dedication for coming to work every single day to serve the public. It is not easy to wear a mask all day long but yet they do It to ensure that we the customers are cared for. God bless everyone at ShopRite. On another note, it’s time for the watch on ShopRite to the upgraded. The facility is old and should mirror the Clark and Gillette stores. Customers deserve the upgrade so that shopping is a more pleasant experience. I would also hope that they start to provide Boar’s Head products at the deli counter.

Curbside pickup. I have used the curbside pick up since it was was first available. I am VERY upset on the service I had today. I ordered my groceries at 1200p today with a pick up at 630p-730p that night. The blocks of times that still has openings was from 4p-730p. I chose the latest with the guarantee it would be ready when I arrived. I arrived at 620p thinking I may have to wait a little since I was early. I was greeted at 625p and was told that my order was not ready yet. I did not mind waiting a bit since I was early. I was completely thrown when I was asked to come back tomorrow. The reason was that they were really busy today. Why did I not receive a call earlier in the day with an explanation that my order was too much for them to handle? Why did I have multiple choices of time slots if I did not have a chance to get my order filled that same day? It’s not a free service and do not mind paying for the convenience. This is not a convenience!

Website and services. I normally do not like to give reviews but I feel this is necessary. I feel like your website needs updating. I shop at PeaPod as well and Wholefoods and both websites are better in terms of functionality. Your website tends to be very slow and add items I do not add to my cart. Also, it’s an entire process if I need to update my order. I should be able to update easily. In terms of the pickup/delivery services, I have been very disappointed. This might be the last time I am giving ShopRite pick services a try. I receive poor quality fruits and vegetables and when I call and complain, your reps are not helpful. For example, my cauliflower came with a dead mosquito. When I called ShopRite I was told there was nothing they can do and that I should just simply eat it that way. Very disappointing! Another thing is that some items don’t come because your reps say they are not available but when my husband walks inside the ShopRite while picking up an order, the store is fully stocked. That being said your pickup/delivery services need to be better managed.

Improved. The new app is an improvement over the old app, BUT I still am not completely satisfied. When I went to look at previous purchases, there were none listed. And even more aggravating, the search engine was completely useless. Put in what I wanted to search for, and NOTHING HAPPENED. As a result I did not get all the products I needed. Please continue work on improving this app. I like the convenience of shopping from home and the delivery aspect of Shop Rite. This is an ADDENDUM to the above. The current Shoprite app has improved so much since I last used it. It was easy to navigate. It allows you to browse & shop from the circular. I am very pleased. I always opt for delivery, but I find there are never enough current slots open & I usually have to wait several days to get my order. I hope this aspect will be improved in the future.

App. Your app is a piece of garbage! Stalls out; gets errors; goes to the wrong place; and wiped out my cart, my list and my reserved time slot!!! 😡 Update: the app is very attractive, has nice graphics & options. Sadly, usage has become even worse, as now there is a wait time (often greater than an hour) just to get into the app. Even worse, my reserved pickup time was four (4!) days away; this after spending nearly 3 hours getting my order into the cart & going through checkout. The ultimate crusher, though, was when I arrived at the store at my designated, reserved time slot (8:00 - 8:30 pm), only to be told that the store was closed!!! Sorry for your luck!! As a 74 year-old with diabetes and a heart condition, this was very sad news indeed. Now I have to physically go to a grocery store (NOT that one - Four Seasons ShopRite), endangering not only myself but others that I come in contact with! Now, it’s six days after my first attempt to use this app, and I’m forced to go out shopping because there’s no food left. So much for human kindness during this awful pandemic!!!

Love the store, not the app. 1. It looked like there is a ShopRite store opening up in King of Prussia. I love ShopRite and there is no nearby store. I tried to find out if King of Prussia is opening or is already open, and have not been able to get an answer. If and when it does open, I will definitely shop there. I used to shop in Marmora, New Jersey, but I no longer live near there. 2. I registered in the application for the first time today. After I registered, I tried to clip coupons and each coupon had a black box under it requiring one to register or login again. I tried to do that and had to keep re-entering my email and password so many times that I nearly gave up. At the point where the app told me my user ID and password were not registered three or four times, I gave up and got out of the application. I opened the application again out of curiosity and low and behold, I was able to clip coupons without having to enter my user ID and password again. This application needs more testing.

Long way to go!. App shows items in store, then when you shop from home of course shop rite of montague Nj Doesn’t have it,extremely irritating, they need more room in that store either expand the store or move to a location to build a Shoprite that can compete with Walmart, if TJ MAXX could be convinced to move and they could buy up that space then now we’re talking change there’s just not enough room to to keep the product that people buy on a daily basis, plus they don’t do substitutions on items you order from home that they don’t have in stock, so you get nothing I grew up eating food from Shoprite @ the Newton NJ Shoprite and they had the liquor store attached in a separate building, always fond memories of going with my mom food shopping every week when I was young, nothing bad to say about that store but if you go 30 years back there was Shoprite,Weis and Acme In Newton! The Shoprite in montague NJ is STRUGGLING big time, and it’s always been a 24hr store, there’s no reason why they had to follow the leader, and take the 24hour shopping away just because every other store was doing it at the time because of COVID!

Awful search engine and takes your slot away. The search engine is awful on this site. You get search results that have any of the terms you use so it’s too broad. For instance if you put cream cheese with chives you’ll get pages of every cream cheese flavor they have, and also any other item in the store that has the words “cream”, “cheese” or “chives” in it. There is no way to narrow down by department. So it takes forever to do a full shopping list. The other big problem is that if you leave the app even for a second, it will take your time away from you that you have reserved. It’s supposed to reserve your slot for 90 minutes, and after shopping for an hour, I had to stop and look at my email to see what my mother wanted me to get for her. Attack all of five seconds, but when I went back to the app and continued shopping I found that it took my reserved slot away because I was away from the app even for that five seconds. It’s ridiculous, 90 minutes should be 90 minutes whether you’re on the app the entire time or not. Things come up in real life while you’re in the middle of doing one thing you have to do something else but this app punishes you for it.

Not pleased. I placed a ShopRite from home order the night before for pick up on the next day in the evening. Upon arriving to pick up my order which is 30 minutes from my house I text the number that I am there to which they text back “oh sorry your pick up time got moved to an hour later”. A nice lady came out and said that our order would be ready in a few minutes. 20+ minutes later I get a text saying half the stuff in my cart wasn’t available and there were no substitutions. At this point my 6 month old is losing it in the back seat and I’m just ready to be done. I call the help desk and the girl says she’ll be right out. Needless to say next time I’ll be going to another grocery store for my pick up needs. This was supposed to be a more convenient option and it turned out to be more work. Also you should invest in some rain coats for your employees, the poor girl was coming out to other people’s cars with no jacket, she shouldn’t have to be soaking wet and cold like I was loading my own groceries. Really disappointed.

Close but not quite. It’s hard to overstate the difficult of cramming as many skus into an app as this one tries. Add in the complexity of managing multiple stores, each of which may or may not deliver to a home, and where the stock is ever shifting, and the whole project becomes daunting. The app has some features that are helpful, such as the ability to remove items from the cart without going to the cart, shopping from the circular, and digital coupons. Still, the User Experience is difficult. Product descriptions, ingredients, and nutritional info is missing. Meat, produce, and the like is of varying quality. Searches pick up unrelated items. (Searching on the keyword Onions brings up dozens of products, only a few of which are onions. The filter button that lets one choose “produce” requires a practiced eye). Shopping by aisle is kludgey. Some items are mis-categorized. Trying to pay by Apple Pay left me thinking that I had checked out. I hadn’t. Trying to get delivery required that I switch stores, which lost items from my basket. Which items? How many? It didn’t say. Just that “some” were lost. And then, even after I’ve placed my order I may find that 10-20% of the items are unavailable, even when ordered days in advance. I want to support my local ShopRite. I find that this app and the shopping experience could be significantly better.

Convenient with some annoying issues. Of course online shopping is great especially with the pandemic. It’s unfortunate the app (and the Shoprite online site in general) has some annoying issues. It won’t save the credit card - every time one must put ALL the info in again, when I merge an order to add to a previously paid for but not processed ordered it never actually merges my orders. I have to cancel one order or I’ll have 2 pending. Most recently I forgot to cancel and was charged bc the store shopped almost 2 identical orders for the same time slot. Even the person I spoke to at SR said someone should have called me. I guess the manager didn’t feel that way so the extra restocking fee was charged anyway. Like I said it’s a great convenience but if I didn’t have to use it I probably wouldn’t because of some annoying issues.

What the heck happened to this app and the website?. This used to be a great little app. User friendly easy to access digital coupons, search for items but this update has killed it. What did you guys do, hire a consultant who insisted your needed to change your app? Perhaps you should have spoken to consumers first. The digital coupons? Sometimes they’re there other times not. The search function? I was doing a search for a particular brand of American cheese. When the brand didn’t come up I did a search for cheese. Just that. Cheese. What was the result? “No products.” Really? The shop by aisle feature doesn’t work either. If I were you I’d fire the brain trust that convinced you this was a good idea. Terrible terrible app. I would give it zero stars if it Let me.

Worst app ever. This is the worst app ever but perhaps it is the entire corporation because the website has its share of issues also. Can’t shop on either because I consistently get error messages. The app tells me it can’t add to the cart and when I review my cart it is there. If I don’t catch it I have double of some items when I get my food. Not sure why ShopRite can’t get this right? I have zero issues with Weiss and Target! In fact, someone from ShopRite should contact Tagrget because their entire shop from home process is a dream from ordering to picking up! It is clear no one at ShopRite/Wakefern takes the comments seriously as they make updates to the app and now have even more issues. There is this thing called “testing” and it seems to be lost on this company and whoever is your app developer. Also, the scan feature doesn’t work. By the time I finish an order from home on the app, I could have probably go to the store in the same amount of time.

Please make it simple!!. We have been using ShopRite for our grocery needs since 1973 for the quality, selection of brands and the price of items. I love the digital coupons and used them in the beginning. Each new update for downloading Snarky has been more frustrating than the previous one. I deleted my account at the suggestion of a SR employee and started over twice now. It worked well for several weeks. Then more updates, more frustration. I am repeatedly being asked to sign in. I have been using paper coupons but they don’t always include all of the digital ones. It’s crazy. All I want to do is load the coupons and shop. It would be nice to have that option. I don’t want to have someone else shop for me, don’t want a printout, don’t want to see what I bought last year, month, week. Don’t need an account. You have added too many options. One more thing. You have changed the procedure for looking up the digital offer so that each time that you look at the product and go back to the list, it starts at the top-listing the first coupon. So now you need to scroll down to where you were. This week has 133 digital coupons, I believe. Please return to the easier process. And update the “keep me signed in” button to actually keep me signed in. Thank you P. S. Your staff is very friendly and very helpful. One star for digital coupons and five stars for the store and staff.

Need to pay attention. The customer has a place for notes. I every time add item notes as well as an overall note that states not to stack my cheese and meats and to slice it thin. I get my cold cuts sliced super thick and Stacked. READ THE NOTES DONT IGNORE THE PAYING CUSTOMERS!! Also your cold cut station workers need to wear there gloves and if they touch their faces or the counter/ door handles tell them to change their gloves it’s nasty. This ShopRite allows their workers to touch people’s food with contaminated gloves. I have seen with my own eyes. It’s awful do better!!! These workers also have half a mask on and they think that is helping? It doesn’t help to wear the mask incorrectly. Wearing a face mask while touching prepared food and cold cuts should be a permanent requirement bc some of these works don’t care and touch your food breathe all over it and it isn’t ok. It’s is not safe for someone with cancer DO BETTER!!!

"Online service" versus "In Store". I decided to give the online service a try for the first time; and it was an excellent experience. The workers handling the online shop to store pick up are very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and perform their job well. I had no issues with my online order and my transaction went perfect. The five stars is pertaining to the "online service crew only". I forgot a few items and decided to go into the store and pick up a few things on my own...unfortunately my "in store experience" did not go very well. For starters, the cashier did not know how to complete my transaction... really? All cashiers should be trained to handle "all types" of transactions. The front end manager/ CSR was called over to assist the cashier; who was extremely rude and obnoxious to me as if "I" was the problem. I defused the issue because I needed to leave the supermarket for another scheduled appointment ; but will be returning there on Saturday to file a formal complaint. Horrible in "store service",... and wouldn't give even one star.

Superior Service with a “hitch”. I love ShopRite and I appreciate the app and the delivery service by Clyde the driver is always above the 10⭐️However, DO NOT save your card for check out! I’ve been using the app for 3 years and I’ve experienced a problem when I saved my card. I would get the email order confirmation and thought all was well. Not true. I would get a call from the store manager saying they couldn’t process my order after the cashier rang up my order. So, this time I deleted the card and entered it manually and all is well!!! I appreciate the kindness of the shopper and the ease of my shopping online. Bravo to Clyde from the delivery service and Bravo to the shoppers at the store! You have made the “pandemic” so much easier to shop!

Great but missing important features. App makes shopping from home and building shopping lists in advance very convenient. Unfortunately on both the shoprite website and the app, it is missing the ability to save payment information into the account, making you have to input all payment information manually each time. They recently integrated Apple Pay but I do not use that feature. The app also does not have the ability to insert expected product sizing on the “request an item” note feature or even request the quantity of items from that note section. Item request note details must be done on the website if you are to be able to write how many ounces the products are and how many you would want. Not to mention requested item notes cannot be edited; you would have to just delete the note altogether and create a new one to make any changes.

First Time Curbside Pick-Up. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and the outstanding organization ShopRite and their employees showed when I picked my curbside order for the first time today during this COVID-19 pandemic. I placed my order from my phone in the am, got a slot for pick-up late in the afternoon but requested an earlier pick-up if my order got processed sooner than anticipated. Two and a half hours early, got a very pleasant voice calling from ShopRite telling me that my order was ready, got there before the afternoon rush-hour started, had my small car’s trunk precisely and strategically loaded and was on my way home in 10 minutes’ time with a lovely bouquet of flowers as a first-time compliment of ShopRite. This positive experience needs to be shared with others and I just want to say: thank you. Well done Shoprite! Mrs. Ech...

Awful experience. Usually my experience is excellent Once when the store was running late on an order they texted me they are running late - no problem!!! Tonight my order was for 6pm No one came out with my order so I called customer service at 6:23 from the parking lot which I had been standing in since 6pm and was told that they are running late and to hold for curbside pickup on the phone - no one ever picked up. At 6:53 my husband went into the store to be told that there is a problem and the order won’t be ready till 9pm. He canceled our order. He told the male manager that no one let us know by text. The manager said system was not working and they are busy due to Super Bowl so no one notified curbside service. Manager sent NO ONE outside to let customers know and did not come out himself. No calls, no texts , no communication whatsoever. If my husband hadn’t gone in we would still be waiting outside (8:50pm now) in 35degrees with our car running. This is unacceptable!! ShopRite should give us a gift card for our gas and time . Train your management to have better means of communication. Thank you Christiana Kirzecky ( one- two times /week loyal curbside customer)

Hit or Miss. I love the convenience of grocery pickup, and have largely had positive experiences, and a few that were not so great. I think it is the luck of the draw - some shoppers are more conscientious than others. Recently, even though I had indicated that I would accept substitutions, many items were “unavailable”. One of those items was sliced deli American cheese. I don’t think that shopper was trying too hard to find a substitute. I called the store, and was able to have the shopper get alternate brands of the “unavailable” items, but that was a difficult process. Also, I wonder if all the items in the store show up on the app. I searched but never found shredded coconut, a common cookie ingredient, before Christmas. I can’t imagine there was none in the store. I do not want to go into the store, so even though the service isn’t always great, I will continue to use it and hope for the best.

Saturday shopping can be confusing. I love the convenience of shopping from home and having everything ready for pick up the next day. The only downside is if you shop and pay online on a Saturday, the sales you shopped likely won’t be applied to your order because the order isn’t processed until Sunday. By then, the deals have changed. You can look at the next weeks circular, but you can’t tell if you’re getting a sale until you get your receipt the next day. I only noticed because I shopped a great meat deal on a Saturday but was charged $40 more because the sale was over by the time my order processed. However, I called ShopRite and they refunded the $40 via a credit on my savings card. Now that I’m aware, I’m very careful. Overall, ShopRite is great!

HORRIBLE App. I’ve been sick with COVID-19 and can’t get to the grocery store so I use this awful app for the first and last time. Never again! It takes forever to place an order. It’s impossible to get help. The people designed it have no idea what they’re doing. The online chat is just an automated bot that doesn’t understand even basic English. I finally found the phone number to call only to be subjected to another useless voice menu. Once I thought I was going to be connected to a live person I received a message that everyone was busy and a call back later. I placed an order last night it was supposed to be delivered between 10 and 11 AM this morning. However, the app says it was delivered a lot earlier than that and yet I still don’t have the order. I have no idea where it is or if it was delivered to the wrong place. There’s no way to find out. On top of that, several items were not available; however, the app says they were delivered. What is going on!! Next time, I’ll take my business elsewhere!

Curbside Pickups. Thank you to the workers handling the curbside pickup orders at the Bound Brook ShopRite. I’ve had a couple pickups and they’ve been wonderful! I especially want to thank Lauren. She has an incredible attitude, is so sweet and helpful and actually thanks me for shopping with ShopRite! She willingly loads the groceries in my car trunk, very carefully! Amazing service. My only negative is that I only receive about 2/3 of my orders. I have plenty of food, however, so I do not want to complain! Since I don’t see the shelves inside with what is in stock, I can’t gauge product availability. I appreciate anything that I get. Thank you so much for providing the Shop from Home curbside pickup. As an over 70 person (in the higher risk group), you have no idea how much I appreciate it! Thanks for helping to keep me, and others, safe! Hats off to all the ShopRite workers doing their jobs!!!

Frustrated. Shopping at shoprite is getting more and more frustrating. I want to save money just like the next guy and I usually shop sale items, but the digital coupons are a hassle for me. It was bad enough that I had to remember to download them or I wouldn’t get the right price, but now they tell me I have to download them at least 24 hours prior or they won’t come up at the register. So now I have to find the perfect time 24 hours before I go shopping but not so early that I miss the ones that they just made available because, of course, the coupons don’t follow the weekly sales ad. I also don’t want to have to buy 4, 8, or 10 of the same item to get a sale price. One to 3, I can understand, but give me a break. Then there are the items I have been buying for a while, which you have decided to stop carrying. Please just stop all the games and give me your best price.

Shoprite cashier at Cinnaminson, NJ. Early January I had Teresa, a cashier who was kind, polite, went out of her way to get what I needed, and most of all, her patience with an elderly senior. Honestly, this woman should receive an award for excellence in customer service. She is a stellar employee. Then about 2 weeks ago at the same store I had young cashier who I thought wasn’t feeling well or had something on her mind. I was next in line, getting my customer card out and she said to me, “you could of put your stuff on here”, meaning the conveyor belt. I mentioned that I was getting my Shoprite card out. After the cashier scanned my items, she looked at me and said, “do you want me to bag?” instead of taking the initiative to start bagging my groceries. There were others in line waiting to check out, too. I was disappointed in her attitude. Maybe she could use more training.

All items in circular should be on app. I love the service provided by ShopRite from home, it saves me so much time. The shoppers are always great and accommodating. What is incredibly irritating is when items that are sold in the store are not found on the app, particularly items that are featured in the circular. For example, JP O’Reilly’s corned beef was in the circular and on sale, but I couldn’t click on it on the app or find it in the list of corned beef items. My shopper apparently missed it even though I put it in as a “note” so now I need to go to the store to buy it before the sale ends and it defeats the entire convenience of shopping from home. So PLEASE- if something is featured on sale in the circular, make sure it’s available on the app. It would make the lives of your customers and your employees much easier!

Best thing that happened to my Saturday!. SaturdayMorning was always the same routine get up drink coffee get the kids dressed have a light breakfast go food shopping which in our house is a huge production We buy a lot of heavy stuff gallons of milk, gallons of juice, cases of water, 30 pounds of dog food, Each item I had to pick up Put in cart Take out of cart Pack in bag Put bags in cart Wheel out to car Put them in the car Take them out of the car Bring them into kitchen Put them away I was exhausted before lunch! And honestly, I impulse shopped a lot, if I saw something interesting I would change the menu in the spot. I usually over spent too The ShopRite app gave me back my Saturday. Thank You! I order Thurs or Friday night. I can usually get Sat afternoon delivery and magically my groceries appear on my doorstep. Just bring them in and put them away! I think the service charge in my area is $5 WELL worth every penny! If I'm home I try and tip the driver I now stick to my budget, I'm not exhausted and have Saturday mornings back with my kids having fun or if they sleep in I can get some me time in! Oh and that $5 service charge is usually negated by the digital coupons which are listed next to the items. Sweet! Huge fan!

Dissatisfied. The app was great before. Today I was forced to use a new version. My existing shopping list was gone. I was able to add back some items recently purchased within the past few months only. Gone is the sorting by aisle when I look at my list. It is hard to see detail to know what variety (mild versus sharp cheese or flavor of salad dressing) I am adding to my list through the ad. I had been telling my friends how easy it was to use the ShopRite app, but not now. I had been maintaining a very long list of items in the app, and I will have to try to remember what they were. I am very disappointed that this change to a completely different version was made with no warning. I can’t see where in the store items are located. Digital coupons are not listed next to the items. Sale prices are not shown. The app had lots of good features which were important to me which are now gone. I am also having to sign in every time although keep me signed in is checked.

Curbside Pickup and Online Ordering. I love the flexibility that curbside offers. Especially with a bad foot. However Flanders has some learning to do compared to other stores in the area that have been doing this a while. I’ve had to resort to doing half online and half in store self shopping on my bad foot because none of my produce orders have been satisfactory. The shoppers are so nice but they do NOT pick the freshest produce by all means. I have received vegetables that I’ve thrown away directly after getting home!! So not so reliable unless you tell them exactly what you need. It will be a while before I trust that they can pick my produce and fresh ingredients. I’m even reluctant about ordering meats. We will see if things improve and how fast.

Can’t Get Any Worse. Impossible to view lists of any kind. The digital coupon section is horribly designed with big blocks of space filled with tiny photos and text impossible to read on a mobile device. The app is completely worthless except for checking off selected digital coupons but since you can’t access your list it’s fairly useless as well. After you use the digital coupon in store it remains on the app so you can’t keep track of what you used. Nothing useful about this “redesigned “ app. Hello ShopRite?! Update: Even after multiple updates this is still the worst grocery store shopping app out there. There is no way to shop from the current circular easily and quickly. Who has the time to click through endless categories and subcategories to find the item from the circular and add it to a shopping list? You can’t print your digital coupon list when you are finally able to it and they remain until they expire even if it has been used. There is nothing useful about this app except for loading digital coupons. I dare the person who designed it to use it! Second Update: Despite consistent “improvements” the app remains clunky and still needs to be streamlined. Nothing about it is intuitive and simple things like being able to print a concise shopping or coupon list without photos doesn’t exist. I hardly use the app except to clip digital coupons.

Horrible Service by ShopRite. I shopped for almost an hour online then when I picked a time for pick-up or delivery there were no times available in the next 6 days. The calendar did not go out any farther! Why should it? We might starve to death by the time the items were ready. I get the corona virus disruption, but how hard would it be to update the Website to say there are no pick up or delivery services available for the foreseeable future before you start. I tried to use this service once before well before the corona virus. It was useless back then too! The ShopRite in Parsippany happens to be a geat store, but their pick up and delivery service is worse than any I have ever attempted to use! What a waste of time! In trying to cover up for the failed pick up and delivery system, ShopRite fails to acknowledge in their response that they misleadingly allow its logo to be used by a very bad vendor called Instacart. I would never recommend using the home shopping service because the people doing the shopping do not work for ShopRite.

Paragon Village Resident. I have an independent living apartment at Paragon. I am unable to physically shop in your store. The ability to shop online is a great benefit. Your drivers are always courteous and helpful. I especially like it when Mark is the driver. I have known him ever since I lived in Newtonian Gardens before I moved here. He always brings a smile to my face. Regarding your merchandise….fresh foods are always FRESH and packaged well. Refrigerated and frozen items are always packaged separately, which makes unloading and storing in freezer or refrigerator very easy. Bread is packaged carefully to avoid smashing it. As you can tell, I am very happy with your services and merchandise. The only thing that would make me happier is the price of food. I do the best I can and use your coupons and special deals. Wishing you all a Blessed Day.

Great Stores but...... I’ve shopped at several ShopRite stores and it’s my favorite grocery store BUT I live near and frequent the Howard Park location. I’ve noticed some HUGE differences in the stores. Fruits and veggies aren’t as fresh at Howard Park. I’ve gotten rotten berries and melons from time to time. Also, shelves aren’t stocked with sale items most times. Worst of all, there are always long lines of car parked outside in the fire lanes. I regularly have to squeeze my cart out between parked cars. Drivers race through the lot and squeezing by parked cars is dangerous for families. I’ve reported it to management SEVERAL times but it’s still the same safety hazard every time I visit Howard Park so I stopped shopping there as much. The staff are friendly and helpful so I appreciate that but the Timonium store has better veggies and a safer lot but a SUCKY coupon policy. It’s a struggle so sometimes I go to Giants to avoid the crap. Just thought you should know!!!

Bad app - don’t get it. As others have mentioned, there were problems in registering the account. Finally did through internet rather than app and after several attempts managed to log in. But then couldn’t add anything to the grocery list. It kept failing. I tried to set up lists. That would work either. I then looked at the ratings / reviews others left (should have done that before I got the app) and saw that many other people were having the same problems. Looks like tech replies to the comments but it doesn’t look like anything actually gets fixed. You know what does work? Wegmans App! I’m going back to that it’s a nicer store anyway. Just a little farther away. Update: I finally got feedback from the developer today, September 19. Although I’m appreciative that they did reply, it took quite a while. So long in fact that I had to go back and look at what I wrote here months ago. The response from the developer was to update the app as the new version may have fixed the bugs. I’m not really interested at this point. I deleted it after my original review post.

Not bad. Could be better. There are several features that could be improved that are needed on this application. The most basic one is that you can’t change the font size to be larger so older shoppers find it very difficult to read what’s on the screen. You should be able to boost that in settings. Also like many people I have a watchlist in my mind of products that I often buy when they go on sale so we should be able to have a list of products that when they do go on sale we get some sort of prompter notification even if it’s only when we’ve launched the application. This would be especially helpful for young parents who have to buy things like diapers. There are many other small tweaks but if you’ve employed a user interface or user experience person you probably are already aware of them.

App is constantly not working. Honestly this is the most frustrating app. There are a lot of technical issues that I have had since I first downloaded this app a couple years ago. For example products are constantly not loading. It’s impossible that you don’t have any tomato products in the store at all. It will say unable to load or there are no products. Today nothing is loading at all. Not even if a I press shop in aisles. Typically it’s just the favorites section that is down and or past purchases, but today it’s everything. It’s extremely frustrating for people who have conditions that prevent them from shopping in the actual stores. When you rely on this and it is having a ton of the same technical difficulties for two years now it make’s you want to go else where. Also my app is currently up to date and I have closed it out completely several times to see if that would fix it and it does not.

Why waste time shop online. Shopping online and picking up is one beauty of todays technology. Why waste time grocery shopping if you have an organized grocery list & someone can do it for you for about $5. Worth it to me. I’ve used this for a few years and rarely have any issues. Of course sometimes product isn’t available but that happens when I go. I love the app and the convenience of keeping my favorites list, simply scanning an item for a quick search to add on list, & if I do go in store going into search to find item by store and what isle it is in. Another thing to think about is in the end you’re saving money sticking to a list of what you need rather than going in a spending so much more money on things you don’t really need.

Loved the old app, the new one is buggy. Recently ShopRite updated their perfectly functional app and replaced it with one that looks a little better on the surface but underneath makes me want the old one back. The primary reason? The app no longer shows my card to be scanned. It has an icon that pretends that it will show a card, but it just displays a blank screen. The old app would show a barcode that could be quickly scanned, now I have to go to the trouble of inputting my phone number all the time at the register. The app has been supposedly updated a few times but this crucial feature still doesn't work. I've even deleted and reinstalled it, but that didn't help. And to think that they forced us all to update our passwords just to use this buggy app with less functionality than before. Grrrr....

Need to update some features.. Adding items to an existing online order should be much easier. Take a look at Walmart’s app for advice.. they have a MUCH easier process and the app overall is more user friendly. Plus, I can place an order on Walmart’s app if I get on early enough that can be picked up later that day. Maybe it’s just my location, but Shoprite seems to cut off the current day from being an option. I also get bad produce, and I mean clearly bad obviously NOT edible stuff, sometimes. Just about every 3rd or 4th order has something ready to go bad if not already bad. Quality control could be a bit better, and that’s probably a location issue… but one that I’ve only experienced using Shoprite online ordering. The app is ok, I moved and Shoprite is now my closest grocery store, otherwise, I would have stuck with Walmart. And that surprises me and anyone else I tell.

Great service - some suggestions. This has been a great service especially during Covid times I like that the shoppers or people that are in the store on a regular basis and that you get the same price that the store offers the general public. One improvement to the app is that I would like to be able to make instructions to the driver which I only seem to be able to do on my computer not on my phone app. Also it is not clear if I pick substitutions can be done if I still can approve before they are purchased. Although I must say that the shoppers are making some suggestions for alternatives for my approval. I would like to be able to add a last minute item without changing my time slot but before the shopper starts shopping or be able to communicate with the shopper like I can do with Insta cart. Thanks for considering

Home shopping. About a month ago I placed an order for home delivery. When it was delivered the women did not have a mask or gloves on. She left My order on the bottom of 4 steps. I use A walker I had to call my daughter to come bring my groceries in along with my order I had ordered diet soda when it was on sale and they were four gmaof 9 refrigerated case is also left at the bottom of the steps it started raining before my daughter could come needless to say we’re trying to pick up the cardboard cases they fell apart and the soda went rolling around the sidewalk i’m not allowed to order anymore and I’m very disappointed as I miss my independence I know nothing can be done now but I thought it should be known. I have been ordering since before the virus started because of my disability

Terrible. You pay for convenience. I pay the extra money to have someone shop for me because I have a new born baby who is very hard to shop with. I was available before my selected time and called to see if I could pick my order up sooner. I get there at my new time and text to check in. 25 minutes goes by and still nothing. People are coming after me and getting their order before me. One hour after sitting there (30 minutes past my original time) my order is still not ready. I call and speak to a woman who said she tried to call me to tell me they were behind but no one answered. No one ever called me. She then proceeded to tell me they are very behind schedule and I should go home for about 45 minutes and then come back. I was frustrated but I left. I pull into my drive way and Shoprite calls and said they were in the parking lot with my order and couldn’t find me. So I left for no reason. If I had the time to sit there and wait for over a hour I would’ve shopped myself. I paid for convenience. Very unprofessional.

Store review. So many of the products I usually purchase disappear from your store. I find I have to shop elsewhere to get the products I like. It seems that the whole store is becoming Paperbird and Bowl and Basket, not a fan of those products. I want to buy Scotties tissues but Shoprite replaced them with Paperbird and they are awful. I have to go to Weis to get napkins because Shoprite stopped selling Marcal. The store in Flanders is small so I understand it cannot carry as much as a larger store but then why on earth is it taking up an aisle with sheets! Who needs to buy sheets in a grocery store? I liked the Wholesome Pantry line but that too seems to be disappearing. And, as I always mention when I write a review, Shoprite’s produce is not the nicest looking. Sometimes the old broccoli and string beans in my fridge look better than what is put out at the store! I usually shop elsewhere for my produce when I can. Right now I am trying to avoid shopping in several stores so I have been buying produce at Shoprite.

Sort by aisle still not working. **Update I contacted the mobile support email, and they responded in less than 24 hours. It turns out that there was a quick fix. I must’ve had items in my basket before the update was applied. They told me to empty my cart, and then re-add the items. this worked immediately. I am revising my review to four stars, and complement their support crew for a very quick response. ——-/—— Despite the fact that the version summary claims that this problem has been fixed, the sort by aisle is still not working. It still just says other. I tried deleting the app completely, restarting my phone, and then re-installing. It still doesn’t work. Unfortunately, this was the most useful feature of the app when shopping in person. A really big timesaver. Hopefully they can fix it soon.

Substitutions for online orders need to be more flexible.. The app itself is fine and does the job well, but I have a major problem with how it handles your order when something is not available. As an example, today I went to order four 2 liters of Pepsi products. I had a coupon for 4/$5. Two of the products were not available, and instead of offering other Pepsi products it asked me if I wanted Coke products. Because I can’t add Pepsi products I ended up paying almost the same price for only 2 bottles because the coupon couldn’t be used. On the same order, I used the “spend $15 of products from this brand and get $5 {order fee} off the order. One of the products was not available and the product offered as a replacement was not part of the promotion. Not to mention one of the products was needed to prepare another product from the group. This brought that subtotal to under $15, so I ended up paying not getting the offer, plus I had products that I couldn’t prepare without going to another store at this point. Because of this flaw, I ended up paying more than I had to for less product. When an item is not available, you need to allow us to tell you exactly what we want to replace it with. Not the other way around, where you tell us what we want. That’s not how it works in store and it’s not how it should be with online orders.

ShopRite—Lake Ronkonkoma. The people in this store are amazing! No matter what item you ask about, they know exactly where I can find it. You can actually find employees on the floor to ask! Even if they are busy, they make you feel like you’re more important. The cashiers are so pleasant and they make you feel as though you’re their friend. There are always sufficient cashiers so that you’re not on line for an indefinite amount of time. And, when you wonder how you’ll get the packages in your car, out of nowhere comes a gentleman I believe Is Ricky. I really hope I have the correct name. He just unloads the cart, fills the car, and is always happy to do so! I’m 80+, do you have any idea how wonderful it is to have him appear and see how willingly he completes this? Bottom line?—-Love the people and the store. ALMOST makes food shopping enjoyable! Thank you. ARLENE Maggio

Always EXPIRED. I’ve now done ShopRite from home, in store pick up, about 4 times. EACH time I’ve received expired creamer. Twice I physically had to drive 20 minutes back to the store to exchange it and the other two times I was so mad I tossed them and drove to Acme to pick up a new bottle. So I had to make sure to make an “item note” specifically telling them to check the date moving forward. Should I even have to do that?? I ordered apples and I received ALL bright yellow in color when you would think I’d get a red one...nope... gave them all to the chickens and didn’t eat one. Sliced mozzarella ordered on 12/6...expires 12/9... didn’t find that one out until I went to go eat it today and put expired cheese on a plate. I also bought Fairlife milk... expired in 5 days of purchase.. the list can go on (not even joking)... so frustrating. I personally, now, think the ShopRite from home is a way for the store to sell their expiring products... guess this leisure is now non existent because of this... completely annoyed.

Search engine needs revamp. Newer app is better in some ways but…search engine is still absolutely terrible …..and the online promo options formerly used to show “totals of promo items” in cart ..now customer has to add to see if they reached required amount for promo Past….. I’ve been shopping at ShopRite for over 40 years and overall I’m very pleased with this experience. However, there is one thing that is in desperate need of revamping. While I know you carry a wide variety of products, I often find the search engine when trying to order online is extremely frustrating. Often times I cannot find an item that I know you have. And far too frequently when doing a search for a simple thing it pulls up thousands of other items.

Poor policy at Shop Rite in Passaic. This is the only ShopRite that I have been required to sign for an online order for curbside pick up. I have shopped at several other Shop Rite locations and never had to sign. Having a customer sign puts your employee at risk since the customer may not be wearing a mask and touching a pen that multiple people have used. The employee then said for me to load the car. I have been harassed by phone from the Passaic employees even calling me 10:30 at night and 9:00 am the next morning and several times in between. I told them the reason is because of the pandemic and the whole purpose of my shopping online is no contact. I also said I will no longer use the Passaic Shop Rite so they shouldn’t worry about it. Stop the harassment!!!!

Disgusted!!. I’m in shock by the way this business handled the Hepatitis scare.. my boyfriend found out through an automated message that the deli meat he bought may be contaminated.. he was at work and panicked. I called Shoprite immediately and was given an attitude and told to call a number. I called and it was ANOTHER automated message. When I called back and asked what they were going to do to make this better they said you can come PAY to get vaccinated here . I said pay??? Your employee may have infected hundreds and you aren’t not giving vaccinations? Not offering to help pay copays?? Not even $20?? I was told we are only helping our employees. They did not even offer a gift card. I guess they want to go out of business or declare bankruptcy because everyone I know and i mean everyone involved is livid and DONE shopping here.. the owner really messed up with this one . Everyone I spoke to in town waiting at pharmacies is amazed that it was handled soooo poorly.. needless to say don’t shop here .. not even bad customer service NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Blackwood Clementon Rd. Customer service training is in dire need in this store. Their rep would rather argue with a customer, than try and be a customer service associate. She took her good old time getting to the poor cashier & never bothered to come up to us, instead yelling from 3 lanes away. I spent 25 years in retail management & not one of my people would have ever gotten away with blatant ignorance. Going to have to transfer my prescriptions over to Chews Landing as I will never set foot in Laurel Hill again. I know it’s still Zallie’s but she needs an attitude adjustment. I have always respected the retail employees but will not tolerate belligerent behavior over a coupon that never scans from an Excedrin bottle. Actually, Ravitz is right down Laurel Rd and they are fine, also. Thanks for the horrible taste in my mouth for your Laurel Hill store, all because she was not happy and wanted to yell to try and prove her point.

Almost great. The ShopRite from home staff has always been outstanding. They always do a great job. The reason why it’s almost great is because 9 times out of 10 they are out many items on my list. You do not get any notification when your ordering the item that you won’t be getting it. This week it was almost every meat item I ordered. Other times they don’t have a bread, or other common items. This results in me having to do a second trip to the store and this what I was trying to avoid when I placed my online order. ShopRite please keep your shopping website up to date with what you actually have. I understand some popular things might sell out but every time I get at least 5 items that are unavailable or maybe more. I’m sue I’m not alone in this dilemma.

Best Supermarket in Town. The Bottino’s family truly showcased their success with their Landis Avenue store. This location has everything I need to provide a great meal for my love ones. I love their ethnicity and fresh produce area. The store is always clean and beautifully organized. All seasoned staff members are great and friendly. Especially Arlene from the deli and a few ladies from the cash register area. Area for improvement, service skills from the newer team members on the cash registers. They seem to be more interested on talking between themselves vs servicing clients. I visit this store during different times of the day and this seems more frequent in the evening hours. Oh, and the seasoned lady overseen the first self checkout area is great, she is been working there for years and she is super helpful!

Rude from the worker and the manager. After ordering from shop from home for years i would never order from them again they are the rudest people i have ever dealt with, then i asked for a Manager and his attitude was no better and i got not one apology from the employee or the manager, they substitute your food usually with different brands not different flavors, i ordered aunt jemima syrup that was $1.99 and substitute it with a $6.00 bottle of sugar free stevia small bottle of syrup really and they call that a substitution, ordered cream cheese frosting and they give me green funfetti frosting, order shake and bake for pork and i get chicken, ordered white cannelloni beans and they give me red kidney beans then a rotten head of lettuce but this is all ok with the manager because of the covid19, so they don’t take the food back witch i understand but give me my money back over $30 in mistakes and they offer me $20 and take the $10 on the chin plus still made me pay the charge to pick the order, And I’m wrong well u just lost a customer. This is the 3rd and Oregon location.

Shoprite pick up. Love the fact I can place an order and pick it up. It’s great avoiding the crowds. A little disappointed in the fact that there are no designated parking spots (getting snide remarks from shoppers because your in the fire lane), the phone number to call when your there is in one place so if you aren’t close enough to read it you have to hunt the store number on the internet and the kids leave the cart for you to load. Half the time your leaving the door to your car open and walking a car length away because once they see you if you can hear them to respond to your name that’s as close to the car they will get. I’ve been doing this from Walmart for years they put it in your car and now stop and shop is doing the same.

More worthless this app or check yourself lines at the store?. This app is so buggy, it constantly freezes and sometimes your card doesn’t scan at the register! The worst part about shoprite is the check yourself registers, none take coupons and some don’t take cash! Its like 1980 at shoprite, I am surprised dollar coins don’t dispense as change. If your a high up person at shoprite here is what you do, are you ready? Go to stop and shop, and bring a technician with you, and several colleagues to watch how the store operates , copy everything they do (besides the higher prices), then come back to your second rate store and mimic the changes. 8/20 additional complaint - had to wait in line because check yourself doesn’t take coupons (as mentioned above). Handed guy my phone to scan my card from app but he says he can’t scan them! He had to manually type the numbers one by one as I could hear the loud huffs and puffs by the people waiting in line behind me! Update 5/14 can no longer look for item and know what aisle its in. Best feature gone!

Love Berlin ShopRite. I have been going to this ShopRite for years. I love one of the cashier in particular her name is Maureen she has been there for several years she is so nice always great a big smile and so sweet. Another beautiful experience I had was on my husband 50 th birthday . He is now 53 years old. He had a stroke at 49. I went to get him a birthday cake and the manager ( nice guy is a-shame I don’t know his name) but he asked what kind of cake you are looking for . I explain about my husband stroke and he said the best cake is strawberry Chantelle cake. Till this day that is the cake I buy for all our birthday. The beautiful thing he went to service desk and said this cake Is for her as a gift. I will never forget that. I always say hi to him . I go to ShopRite like 4 times ax week they always have great prices. The store is very clean , stocked and is very nice all great service. Keep up the good work . Your loyal customer ritzy .
