Stolen account. When you hear about someone’s account being stolen or altered, a lot of times you blame the person or think it wouldn’t happen to you. But , one day I was in my account , sharing and what not (mind you in the middle of the $10 referrals promo). Then my account knocks me out and I can’t log back in. So, November 4-5th I contact the company , not working . By the 13th, I contact the company via Facebook & they tell me to submit another ticket. I did . It’s December 3rd and no reply so I contact them via fb again. Finally the 4th I get a reply basically saying it’s nothing they can do. They said that my account is registered to another number , with a card linked , but the number on the account is not and never was mine. The only way to verify is if I verify my card info that is linked to my account . But , my thing is , why would I give a company more info , if you can’t even protect my account. No telling we had my account & the number used is disconnected . (Yes they gave me the full number) so if I was someone else asking for account info , it wouldn’t take much to get out of them. So the money available in my account will be forfeited in order for me to make a new account . I won’t be making a new account but I will be deleting the one they have now .

DO NOT USE DOSH! - Inactivity Maintenance Fees. Dosh charges $4.99 a month from your earned cash back credit on your account after 365 days of inactivity. So say you saved $20 in cash back credit on your account. After 365 days + 4 months that $20 that was yours is now Dosh’s $20. They will take your cash back credit on your account from you that you had earned yourself if you don’t interact with the app. This should be illegal. It was your earned cash back reward, why are you charging fees for an account being inactive for a year? Literally no other cash back websites or apps charge maintenance fees on inactive accounts. Stay away from Dosh at all costs for their shady business practices that are borderline illegal. They will take the cash back you earned away from you. Try Rakuten or literally any other cash back website/app if you want cash back on your purchases. Dosh is a thief!

Confusion. This App is a great opportunity to earn extra income. I have currently profited over $600 plus from this app. However since it has went viral complications seems to arise. At first I would get every notification for my referrals and I was able to get my money within 2 Days and it transferred to my Paypal instantly. Now my referrals aren’t showing. My cash-back amount has went from $444 to $1298 as my new referrals continue to download my link and I haven’t been paid in about two weeks. I have no idea how to contact customer service because when I emailed them they sent me a ticket and automatic response. I am grateful for my earnings. But I feel like they should keep their word. I don’t believe I have been compensated for all my referrals and there isn’t a way to tell so it’s easy for people to be cheated out of their money. I hope the company fixes these hiccups.

I don’t trust this app anymore. At first, it was great. It was nice seeing all the little cash back offers add up with our regular purchases with linked cards. But not one offer has been added to my account since 4/18, and we’ve eaten at one restaurant- listed as a 10 percent cash back option- at least three times. We’ve shopped at sams club, also a Dosh participant, weekly, and again, nothing. We have $21 in our account just sitting there abs cannot withdraw it because the minimum is 25. I’d like to just drop dosh and look into other cash back programs, but don’t want to just leave the money we DID get back behind. We are owed a decent chunk of change (no one goes into dams club for “just the little things”), but I have no idea how to get it. Because the app was working fine for so long, I haven’t kept receipts, and the help/support tab on the app is useless. I’m not happy and won’t be unless dosh developers figure out what’s wrong, fix it, and give an “oops we messed up” cash back bonus to app users who have been shafted. I would not recommend this app to anyone at this time.

It’s fine... or seems so, at least. It kind of depends what’s in you area for the in-store offers. Like when I first joined, there were oil change places, thrift stores and restaurants. Now there’s only a majority of restaurants, which again, is fine, and def a perk when you travel. It would be nice if you partnered with some gas stations or something. Now the online offers, that’s where I’m taking away stars. 1) there is no “pending” section of cash back earned. Considering the wait time of 60 (per the offer page under a specific site) to 90 days (per the support section), I think that a pending section would really clear up the mystery. 2) why do online offers with target and Walmart but not in-store? I just think it would make better sense to offer both since you are partnering with them already... But as I said, it’s fine. It’s not anything crazy amazing, but it’s nice if you’re hunting for a deal.

Did not work at all. I downloaded in December 2018, received my $5 sign on bonus and cancelled my account at the beginning of March. The app NEVER worked for me. No notifications from any transactions, no history other than the $5 which Dosh can keep, nothing! I contacted customer service several times asking for help but got nowhere and finally I had to get rude and demand for my account to closed. Then someone emailed me back, “oh just send us receipts and your bank statements!” What’s the point?? There were months and months transactions to go through and no receipts kept. This app was so disappointing and I didn’t get even get a chance to really enjoy it. Update:Dosh I explained through one of my emails that going through 3-4 months of transactions was useless because at one point I stopped using my debit card as credit and that I had no receipts to turn in. Not everyone keeps receipts. Plus would it really be worth it to get a dollar here, .50cents there and have a total of maybe $20?? No, not worth my time digging for long lost receipts or sending copies of my bank statements. After looking at other reviews, I’m not the only person upset and/or disappointed. So Instead of addressing my particular review, you guys apparently need to go back to the drawing board and rework your system so that everyone is happy. So farewell and good luck cuz I’m not downloading this app again.

Dosh works. Great app - really as easy as they say. Spend at the right merchant, cash comes in truly automatically. Not going to get rich on Dosh BUT - I did (for example) just get back from an out of town vacation, found three Dosh places giving 6% in my hotel area. Great spots, and I got like $35 bucks back for my dinners was going to eat anyway. Just transferred $58 bucks to my paypal account today. Only been at it a couple months, and I could probably do even better if I tried harder. People have complained about referral bonuses, and I did have trouble with two of three, one of the two eventually did come in, but I never got the third. Not that big a deal, but mildly annoying. I think it’s just growing pains at Dosh. There is no reason not to do this!

Beware when booking travel through Dosh!. The other day I booked a hotel through Dosh. There was nothing about a cancellation policy indicated when I booked a room for July . As soon as I received the confirmation, low and behold in big print it said no cancellations. I called them immediately to see if I could change my mind (Groupon gives you a 24 hr grace period to cancel purchases). The number I called was the third party Travel Services. Was told that the hotel itself allows cancellations without penalty up to day before but agent said I needed to call Dosh.. they are the ones that say no cancellation(but after the fact). I called and left message... they claimed they tried to call me back... they didn’t.. emailed them and got a big sorry but too bad email. I asked if I could chat with an supervisor for an appeal.. no rely. Today I see an update to clarify hotel booking policies... site as heck wished I had this update prior to when I booked. WILL not use them ever again! Bad business and bad customer service. Beware!

Simple and quick. Started using Dosh a friend referred me. I started using the app and was pleased to receive extra cash back on purchases I normally made anyway. I referred two people when they had the $15 promotion going on and they’ve enjoyed the app as well. I personally haven’t had any issues with cashing out as other reviewers have. I put in my PayPal info and Dosh deposited money into my account WITHIN TWO HOURS! The only time I’ve transferred money any quicker between two sources is using Cash App for a fee. My only complaint with the app is that the cash back options are limited. The retailers are constantly rotating so a place you received cash back at yesterday might not be listed tomorrow. It’s also much harder to find places if you’re in a smaller city. Other than that, I recommend Dosh!

Bad app, worse customer service!. Hello all. I downloaded this app in hopes of saving a little bit of money every time I Purchased from one of their providers. I linked all my credit cards thinking that this would allow me to save even more money no matter what card I used. As of today I have been a member for three weeks. I have made seven purchases from providers on their list and still have not received any credit. I have submitted two separate tickets to support and have not received any type of communication back. As far as I’m aware there is no way to check the status of the tickets that you submit. My wife is also a member and is currently in the same situation that I’m in. I personally feel that this company has overdone it off with the previous referral reward offers. I don’t think they have the capital to pay off all the promised rewards thar they have lent out so the are keeping the profits to themselves. My honest opinion would be to stay away from this company. My wife and I have decided to give them one more week to fix their current issues. After that we will be closing our accounts with them in contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Greatest. Greatest money laundering scam Judging by theses reviews I definitely will not be downloading this app, was excited at first but definitely not gonna deal with the drama I’m hearing about because if I earn money and they don’t pay me I will find out where there Headquarters are and it’s gonna be a problem. I’ve notice all the developers response to these reviews are saying DM them on Facebook and everything will be resolved. That sound like there embarrassed for being put on blast. I think if this company is not doing good then this app should be pulled, also sounds like their running a money scam think their waiting for people to add up money so they can close accounts and transfer it into their account, im sure they get a cut for all the places they promote. A mess P.S. developers I don’t need to hear your response thanks because I’m not gonna waste my time.

Legit FREE $$ plus cash back!. I was skeptical at first just because they ask for your card info for that purpose I use the prepaid debit card once I did so and received my money for adding my debit card I then link my PayPal account and started getting the word out to friends and family and to successfully transferred the money from the Dosh app to my PayPal for the first time and no funny business at all I completely recommend this app not only because you can get free money for referring friends and family. But also you do receive your cash back when you use the card registered with the Dosh app at the participating stores the Dodge has listed. It’s a very simple and easy to use app I highly recommend at least this time with.

Convenient Cash Back. By linking your credit and debit cards to Dosh, you automatically receive cash back when you use those cards at participating locations without having to first logon to their website or activate the app. This makes it extremely convenient but there are caveats. You have to swipe your debit card as credit or you don’t get the cash back and if you have an app to one of the restaurants, for example, where you accumulate loyalty points/rewards, you don’t get Dosh cash back if you pay through that app and, conversely, you don’t get the loyalty points/rewards if forego the app and pay with your card. So you have to choose. Other than that, transferring your cash to your bank account once you have enough accumulated is painless but is not immediate and will take a few days to show up, which is par for the course with other types of online transfers. My only desire is to see more participating locations, which will vary depending upon where you are and not always the same. I travel a lot between DC and New England and while most Dunkin’ locations in New England participate, not all in the DC area do, so you have to check the app. But wherever you are in the country, assuming you allow the app to know your location, it’ll show you participating merchants at your current location.

Not a Scam. I downloaded this app during a $10 promotional period using the referral link of an individual that I follow on Instagram. I looked up information about the Dosh app beforehand to make sure it wasn’t a scam. It didn’t seem to be, so I downloaded it. I got my $5 for signing up and linking my card. Over a year later, I can assure and skeptics out there that this app is NOT a scam. It’s just like Ebates, a more popular cash back app. It’s really hard to refer people to this app and get the money benefit because people are so skeptical. I’ve only had three referrals in over a year using this app. Two were family members and the other was my significant other, who was also very skeptical to download the app. The whole reason your card is linked is so that you can get cash back on your purchases-I get cash back from qualifying purchases all of the time using my linked card. I wish people weren’t so skeptical to give this app a try.

Sigh. Please read.. If you’re looking for an app that changes their terms more than they actually pay their customers, look no further. This is for you. If you’re looking for an app that has employees who give you the run around for months and feed you lies, yet again, this is for you. If this app didn’t run a promotion for free money I guarantee you it would not have as many stars. Don’t get me wrong, I made easy money on here also. But that’s until they suspended my account without warning and fed me lies. I signed up with a texting app, their terms changed months later stating you couldn’t do that, and well you guessed it, they locked me out of my account. Almost $300 in there I worked to get, I earned, I took my valuable time to do. They told me via emails for months they’d change my mobile number, great, I was happy. Then I received an email today saying I won’t be able to have my account back. Cool, Dosh, pick one thing and stick to it. Give people warnings before you go changing things. Should have had it all figured out before even running this app. Not happy whatsoever. Oh and hey everyone, they blocked me on Facebook AND Twitter because I asked numerous times why I can’t access my account or funds. Please keep in mind, I was polite and kind. I fully understand they’re busy but to treat a customer this way is absolutely absurd.

Disappointing. I downloaded the app with minimal expectations; if I get a few bucks back here & there then cool, I’m shopping at these places regardless so it’s free money back-love the idea. One thing that I noticed when I first signed up and would check to see which restaurants or companies in my area were participating was that there were hardly any places on the list. I thought maybe it was because the app was relatively new or just hadn’t been made known in this city yet (Buffalo’s not that small of a city but it is what it is) but figured it’d gain popularity and more choices would pop up eventually. Online offers seemed to have a decent list of participating retailers so I figured local places would catch on too. Boy was I wrong. There are even less places on my nearby list for offers and the online retailers have dwindled to about 8 lol (from previously having a couple pages to scroll down). The big one for me is Sephora, both online and in-store. The app started out decent but seems like the marketplace for apps like this has been saturated. Ibotta and ebates have probably three times as many places to shop and the offers are much higher.

Slow or even "No" to pay. I was excited at first as I joined on during the January 2018 promotional bonus period during which $15 bonuses per referral were supposed to be paid after the referral downloaded, registered and linked a credit/debit card to the app. Most of my friends and acquaintances were skeptical. I signed up during the small remaining period left of the promo so I had little time to recruit people. I managed to recruit two; one for which I was paid the due $15 but I still remain unpaid a month later for the second one. (I was paid only $5 of the $15 bonus.) All the requirements and deadlines were met and I have screenshots to prove them. I have contacted Dosh several times via its support and help link after awaiting an answer and not receiving one. Finally, one rep from Dosh sent me a reply that they had corrected all overdue payments and were no longer accepting "tickets" for inquiries regarding them. This is crap! They owe me $10. Not a huge amount but I earned it and met their requirements. This is a huge disappointment. I am no longer trying to recruit people to Dosh due to this. Also, it took around a month for them to correct an alleged system glitch or error that prevented certain consumer promotions/offers/rebates from being paid. I do not recommend Dosh to anyone. I will continue to use it for its deals and offers but will not be the cause for someone to go through the frustration I have trying to collect my pay.

Giving bank info. I signed up and linked my card months ago earned enough to cash out. Was going to cash out and realized my card was updated from the time due to a damaged card. Now trying to update my card and it wants my bank log in information. I have several accounts on there I am not giving that information. I want to add only my card and it will not let me. Customer service was no help. I should receive a check for the referrals and cash back I earned. It’s not fair I lose it. There is no reason you need my bank log in. Be careful giving your info out to people. I have two stars cause you can earn money if your willing to give them to me very personal information. I lost my money I earned but I guess some of my info can not be bought. Deleting this app I have no use for it. And will not recommend this to anyone.

Used to be a great app.... Everything worked great up until about a year ago. I mostly used Dosh for cash back for my purchases at Sam’s Club. They stopped giving cash back for in store purchases at Sam’s Club, but I kept on earning a little cash back for a few other merchants here and there. Wasn’t happy about it, but it is what it is. A few months ago they started mobile offers for Sams and I thought great. Since I started taking advantage of these mobile offers for Sam’s Club I’ve racked up a small chunk of cash back...unfortunately, all of those transactions are still pending. They have been pending for months now. Every other transaction has been processed in a timely manner. Contacted customer service, but they aren’t responding. Customer service has never been even a little bit responsive. I’d like to cash out and delete the app altogether, but I don’t meet the threshold to transfer money because most of my transactions are still pending. So frustrating!!! I just hope this isn’t an issue for lots of other merchants. A small amount of cash back just isn’t worth the hassle. I gave 2 stars because it seems to work ok for other merchants I purchase from.

False advertisement or doesn’t work properly. There are establishments that are advertised in the app that don’t pay up. I’ve visited multiple places that the app claims would give back 7% and mother is ever returned. I contacted customer support and they claim they don’t have a deal with the establishment (even though the app led me there). Not sure if it’s a scam or just a badly run business. Update, in response to the developers inquiry: I have used this app to find specific locations. This has happened multiple times where the app directs me to an exact restaurant, I use the exact card linked with my Dosh account and nothing happens. I’ve gone back and forth for other 6 weeks with technical support and they keep coming up with reasons why I’m at fault when I’ve followed every protocol set up by dosh. I wouldn’t have spent money at these places in the first place if it wasn’t for this app. I’m convinced your service is glitchy or your app falsely advertises the incorrect locations. I’ve stopped using it as there hasn’t been any resolution to this problem.

Misrouted My Earnings. So I signed up for this after reading referrals from a website. Money began adding up in no time as I’m a regular customer for one of the stores advertised on Dosh. Finally earned enough cash to do the transfer and gave them the info for my savings acct. Double checked everything to ensure all my acct info (routing, etc) was correct. Hit the submit button on Oct 26th. Gave them 5 business days per their site. My bank acct still has nothing. I go log into Dosh, go check the history and it shows the transfer was made.......to a TOTALLY DIFFERENT ACCOUNT. Even the name didn’t match up.....I bank with one of the larger banks in the US. The name of the bank in my history is some small bank in FL that I never heard of (I do not live in FL). Went back and checked my Dosh to ensure that I didn’t make a mistake. Nope my info from my big bank is still there and shows the correct name. Why is my money being routed to a bank acct that I don’t own? In FL where I don’t live?? Sent message to support on the matter. Going on 2 weeks and I’ve heard nothing. Be very wary of dealing with these people. 1 Dec 18 - Noticed a developer commented on my review. STILL don’t have money in my bank account nor was it returned to my Dosh profile. Last time I heard from Dosh Support was on 18 Nov and it was just a message from a lady stating they were still backed up and would get to me soon. Been over a month since I did the transfer and nothing.

Some potential but ? the goal. Started out ok. Made 2 referrals and that worked fine. Disappointed in the places on there as most are local fast food and Hallmark. How often does someone shop in a Hallmark store, but hoped with popularity the participants would grow. No growth as yet and the one restaurant that wasn’t fast food doesn’t include the location near my home. Seems to be a big push for referrals offering incentive which would be great if it worked. Like many who have recently complained, I referred a family member who downloaded with my link but when trying to sign up got waitlisted. When he was able to sign-on there was no ‘record’ of my referral. Just got notice that they closed my query and would not further investigate or honor ‘problem’ referrals. Yet I keep getting emails about special referral incentives. They either do not have their application working properly, are going under and trying to save it or the intention is to get as many on board so they can sell to Fetch Rewards like Mobisave. There other apps that work better such as Shopkicks, Fetch and Drop.

Cash back rewards expire. Your cash back rewards can expire because they charge a 4.99 maintenance fee if you have an inactive wallet. I thought the money had to be used in the app so I was waiting until I needed something. And I don’t remember being told this fee would occur so it feels icky to realize you lost money just because of a technicality. I wish I was notified of this when it was about to happen the first time (& anytime it happens) ahead of time because I would have acted on it. **The app sends direct notifications which are helpful for grabbing attention more effectively. Everyone sends emails so there are too many to properly keep track of & respond to. If someone has notifications as well as various forms of contact information, it’s most helpful to structure these types of notifications to get through all the white noise as effectively as possible.**

Really sad saying this. I joined Dosh back in December (i was referred) and at first is was pretty awesome i was getting my money on time and everything was peachy until this second promotion. Since last Sunday I’ve gotten over 20 people to sign up and have only gotten paid for about 2 I’ve submitted tickets.(7 to be exact) Nothing but the automated emails they send everyone. Since there’s no number for this company I’m missing out on 18 referral bonuses. It’s super discouraging because I’m about integrity and I’ve referred so many people and now I’m starting to feel like this may just be a scam. Dosh. I understand your volumes are high. But if you know anything about customer service than you would know not responding to your customers in over a week and automatically canceling out tickets without even asking a customer if their problem has been resolved is totally unacceptable. I will be deactivating my account today. It was too good to be true.

The app is asking me to update and there is no update available in the App Store.. I’m basically locked out of my account and the $60+ that I’ve gotten back. Also the referral program is a complete scam, I’ve been physically standing next to people that I properly referred and the app didn’t register them as pending referrals. I emailed customer service and they confirmed that the people I referred are actively using Dosh, but would not pay me for my referral because I supposedly did not refer them correctly. I will not be surprised when a class action suit is filed against Dosh for unpaid referrals, the $10-$15 dollar referrals they fail to pay out improperly will definitely add up. I only continued to use the app because I do regularly shop and eat at two of the very limited places where Dosh has available deals. The app can make you some money back, but if it locks you out from retrieving your money (my current situation) then there is nothing you can do.

No help. So I’m traveling from Arizona to Ohio. Pulled over for the night obviously tired. Had been wanting to use DOSH for a while and I would pull up hotels on my phone in app before I finally tried it. I purchased a room to only find out that I purchased the correct hotel but the wrong address. It was the address from the previous night hotel. The hotel manager was so sweet she also called DOSH, and was also hung up on. Then she called to have the hotel transfer the price or cancel it so I could repurchase. They wouldn’t. Then we called DOSH. Long story short, we were hung up on 2x. Then finally got someone. They shut us up by saying they would call the hotel the next day and get this resolved and there was nothing I could do more. Well—— My credit card was still charged for the accidental address and for the correct address. 175$ for the night this cost me for both hotels. DOSH IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!!. I understand non refundable but they are able to transfer since I got the address wrong.

4.99 inactivity fee. By far the most lame concept I have ever witnessed from any rewards app. You are required to make a purchase once a year, or withdrawal once a year, or read an email once every 30 days, or they will charge you 4.99… absolutely insane. Why would you blame and punish the customer for your inadequacies? Surely, it may seem reasonable to you, Dosh, because you make money and add fear and punishment to your users who can’t meet the required 25 dollars to cash out, which I checked is now 15 dollars, an improvement, yes? However, you simply do not offer anything reasonable, your rewards rates are lower than most services in the industry, on top of the fact you mostly only support restaurants that may only be visited once in a blue moon, so it could literally take years to reach the 15 dollars. Your service was SO much better when you were partnered with Venmo, then the cash back was near instant and you supported fast food, coffee places, and most importantly, grocery stores, back then, Dosh was at it’s height and the only reason I considered making an account after they broke their partnership with Venmo. Personally, after all of this time since then, I can see why it happened, Dosh is just simply a mismanaged and incompetent business, unable to secure simple cash back offers that any other rewards app easily offers that Dosh simply will not. It’s sad.

Waste! Doesn’t work. Update: developer finally responded(to my complaint from back in December)and ask that i jump threw several hoops before by contacting them on Facebook and or twitter with my ticket number because me emailing them wasn’t enough. What if ur a person who doesn’t have Facebook or twitter like my mom , who i referred to use this all sadly as she’s having the same problem. I’m Not going threw all that every time im supposed to get cash back, there’s way to many other apps i can use. Delete app if u have it and save yourself the trouble!! I used to love this app for like they first few months. But then it started to be slow to pay or not at all. Walmart was offering a cash back and I went there at least six times since is directly across the street from my house and I was never paid I emailed them they said maybe you try using it as a credit instead of debit purchase I did that and still no payment. I emailed back and never heard anything back. This is a waste of space on my phone. Total gimmick do not download!

This works (I was skeptical too). If you’re reading the reviews like I did before downloading, you probably have doubts and I did too but this really works. You just register your cards with them and shop at the places it has partnerships with and within 10 seconds of your card being charged you get an update saying how much you got back into the app! It has a limit before you can withdraw funds but that’s not because it’s a scam or anything—it probably has to do with how much it costs them to do the transfer or something. At any rate, unless you are paranoid about giving out your card information(they claim to have good security and I have no complaints with 7 cards registered) then I urge you to get this and give it a try for yourself! :)

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!. The app is actually decent, but whenever you need help with anything from customer service it is anything but decent. I booked a hotel from this app, a refundable hotel mind you. Because of the coronavirus pandemic my hotel was closed so I cancelled it through DOSH almost two weeks before the actual vacation. I’m sitting here 2 months after the cancellation and still have not received a refund. I called on 3 separate occasions, before everything was shut down due to the pandemic and was waiting over an hour each time before I ultimately hung up the phone. And the latest is I have sent a few emails to customer support, which finally got back to me almost a month later, which gave me a number to call for the refund. I called that number and was told by whoever I was talking to THAT THEY WEREN’T THE PLACE TO CALL!!! They may give you a little cash back but in the end you’ll be spending more on TYLENOL and ADVIL with all the headaches you’ll have from them!

Impressed!. I recently came across Dosh through an online forum. They told me about their referral program and the $15 promo. I jumped right on it and it was very simple to register and verify my info and add my debit and credit cards. The app provided me with notifications as people joined using my referral link. The app never once crashed on me. I love its simplicity and color scheme. It was easy editing my profile and adding PayPal info to transfer my funds. Plus, the Dosh app has amazing offers! You can get cash back just by shopping at stores Dosh has listed in on their offers page. Just use the card(s) linked to your Dosh account to shop and you're good to go. I'll continue to use this app. So glad I found it!

Absolutely No Customer Service :(. I was super excited about this app because of the local deals component and not having to go through their app to receive online rebates. It seemed super easy and the first couple times I used it, it was! I got notifications regarding my cash back within minutes of paying. Awesome! However, they have the worst customer service. I’ve had two different issues (one with a referral bonus and one with not receiving cash back for an in-store purchase) that I’ve reached out to their customer service email about (no phone number available) and I only received auto-replies about them being very busy and that responses may be delayed up to a week. Apparently, a week is more like never. I have never been contacted by an actual person nor have I been able to reach an actual person for help when I’ve tried. Their auto-replies say “if you do not respond to this email, we will assume your problem is resolved” and despite replying (several times), I still never heard back from anyone. This is super disappointing - mostly bc I was really excited about DOSH and hyped it up to colleagues only to run into these problems with no support. As a result, I will not be referring anyone else to Dosh in the future and will instead suggest similar programs like Ebates that actually give you your $ and have customer service that is much easier to work with!

Truly Love this app. It is exactly what it says it is, cash back app real easy to use and automatic so you don’t have to do anything, their referral system is lovely because you get to become your own business by advertising the app and getting paid for it depending on their payout rate at the time. Aside from everything else my only concern was the pending cash back before being able to transfer from your wallet but it all worked out just like it should. If you’re experiencing some type of payment issue or you think it’s not legit or not patient when waiting for actual funds to show in your bank/accounts let me be the first to tell you it will get to you in due time just be patient because they are usually PRETTY fast with everything. All and all 5/5 star this gets because it has helped me in way I could never repay them but I’ll forever be loyal to dosh and continue to enjoy this cash back!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS

Unable to generate referral link.. At first the DOSH app was awesome. I was getting cash back rewards for going to some of my favorite businesses. When I downloaded the Dosh App, initially the app would turn off when I tried to get my referral link. I wrote a ticket to have it fixed and I finally received a referral link. I watched several people use my new referral link and even add a credit card but I never received my referral bonus. Now my downloaded app will not even generate a referral link. I haven’t been able to refer anyone new and the DOSH app stopped generating a referral link the week before January 21st the day the 15 dollar referrals expired. I just want the same opportunity as everyone else who has been using the app.

Nice idea. I use other cash back apps for online shopping and liked the idea of this one. However, the number of locations near me that participate is shockingly low. I have $19 in cash back sitting there that I can’t do anything with because I don’t meet the $25 minimum. Most of that is from the sign up bonus but it’s still annoying. I have the app linked to all my cards and I just don’t live near enough participating shops. I got excited with the online shopping addition, thought I could get up to $25 and withdraw the money and then just let it gather whatever pennies it does on my rare Dunkin trip, but I pretty much always use PayPal. I found out AFTER I shopped through Dosh that they aren’t able to provide the cash back if you use PayPal. I wasn’t anticipating this because I’m able to do that through Rakuten with zero issues getting the cash back. So I’m glad it works for the people finding success, but I wish I had known how few options I had when I signed up.

Please explain, I’m confused. Î am concerned with the paragraph in the terms and conditions about fees, it states that, the app is currently free but if, in the future, fees are required, that it y’all will notify me by email and phone(or “electronically, i think.) but I’m really concerned about that fact that my consent isn’t required to continue using this app, i mean, if y’all randomly start charging for this service, I would want to be notified AND BE REQUIRED TO either continue use and pay any future fees associated your services OR have the option to Opt Out of continuing to use your app without paying any hidden fees. Bc in the paragraph about how you share my data in the Privacy policy it says: “ to our third-party service providers that provide services to support the Services, such as payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting, order fulfillment, infrastructure, network storage, customer service, technical support, and promotional services and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep Personal Information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them ”

Worth it. I was referred to download Dosh and felt skeptical about it, but I’m glad I did. It’s easy cash back without having to think about it! They don’t have amazing options but I get cash back at places I didn’t even realize I would. I went shopping and purchased clothes at forever 21 and long behold, I had a notification from dosh saying I got cash back! I did run into an issue that they did not give me cash back at a restaurant I went to, but my boyfriend received his portion. I contacted customer service and they claimed they didn’t have a deal with the establishment, but I was persistent and sent them screen shots (turned out the address was incorrect on the app) then they eventually gave me my cash back offer. Alright it was a hassle to go back and forth with them over email, they’re customer service was A+ and they are very friendly. Would recommend to my friends.

Great app, great customer service. I discovered this app when I was looking at the cash back deals offered by Venmo. I don’t like using debit cards, so I was happy to find that using Dosh directly (instead of using their deals through Venmo) allowed you to link and use credit cards to earn cash back. I like that the in-store offers don’t require any activation to use, unlike in-store cash back offers that are on the Rakuten app. It’s always a nice surprise when you unexpectedly earn some cash back on a purchase :) Sometimes earning cash back can be a little finicky if you shop online and your transaction gets split into multiple transactions due to items shipping separately, but Dosh has great customer service and will help apply your cash back if you contact them. I’ve had a super pleasant experience with customer service :) Overall, I like the app - it has a nice UI, is easy to use, and the deals rotate/change every now and then which is nice.

Works great just learn how it works. I have received every penny earned so far. It seems many people don’t understand when the cash is earned. Referral payments occur only once your referral links their credit card. Once that happens...boom!...you get your referral bonus. When I gas up at Exxon...boom! it’s in my account before I leave the station. Definitely miss the Hotel feature. I earned $305 on an 11 night stay...as soon as I checked out and the booking was final...boom!...it was in my account. I also ordered online merchandise and once the return period expires I will earn the cash back on that purchase. Again all you 1 stars and 2 stars need to understand the terms regarding when cash is earned.

NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Customer service is nonexistent. I’ve submitted multiple tickets and haven’t received any support. All I get is automated email replies saying there’s a delay in response time. Well how long does it take? I read reviews after I submitted the second ticket and realized that majority of reviews are complaining about the same issue happening with not receiving cash back or being able to transfer funds after a transaction. I uploaded my receipt both times and still nothing. I’ve referred so many ppl to this app and it’s a bad look when they ask you for your personal opinion on the app, I’ve been using the app for about 3 weeks and the only thing positive was the signing up and earning money from referrals but can’t even access the money. I reached out on Twitter and Facebook and no help. Facebook page responded and said they don’t assist with customer support and I need to submit a ticket..WHICH IVE ALREADY DONE. SUPER MISLEADING AND FRUSTRATING. Update: so they reached back out and are now trying to say that the card was not linked at the time of purchase which it actually was and then removed out of the app after the transaction did not show in the history. With today’s technology there is no reason why they can’t see when a card was added and removed from their database. They claim they use bank level technology/security, that’s false too because a bank would be able to see this information.

Utterly disappointing. I’d had a problem with not receiving my $10 and only received $5. Following there antisocial system I was restricted to only being able to submit my concerns via help center. The next day or so. I was basically told everything was done according to the promotion. After being unsatisfied with their false statements. I proposed the concerns differently. I’m sure you know what they did yet again. So, I wanted to just leave the site alone only to find out that there was not a visible option to remove my cards' personal info off. But it gets dirtier. As I said before I’d was initially upset for only receiving five dollars out $10. So by doing the math what do I have left? Yes!🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 5 bulks. And imagine my surprise when I cannot transfer my only $5 to my real wallet. But I can donate no problem. This was utterly disappointing and a huge let down. If you have this app tell no one else. And if you need this app I urge you to use cash out. It probably doesn’t offer cash back but it’s doesn’t offer hidden Agendas either. Good luck ppl.

RIP OFF! Bull$hit app. First off I sign up with the another person(Jaycole) the link didn’t work(so I assumed it was another paid promo but decided to still try) never got my sign up bound but I got one for linking my card(go figure cause its money involved then) well as I post my link to get other to use it on IG, I get a email my account will be closed it if prompt my link again(don’t the referral require you to share link!) couple of weeks later(this week) I swipe my card at Walmart BOOM no cash back call customer service the volume is high summit a ticket and they’ll get back next week. Look threw the q&a it say they wont give cash back if you use debit or enter your pin( RIP OFF AGAIN) so the next four store I use credit I BET YOU CAN GUESS YOUR BOTTOM DOLLER I STILL GOT NO CASH BACK LOL. I give up and have removed my card and will alert my friends who has already used the link to go back to CASH APP/EBATES CAUSE THIS A RIP OFF and they don’t even care! Removed my card please email on how to close my account also. 👌🏾

Doesn’t Always Work. I made a purchase specifically because of the good rebate amount they were offering. I went to the location on my map too, used the card registered on the app, and nothing. Sent an email with a picture of the receipt as proof, and an automated response said they would get back to me within a week. It’s been 3 weeks. Sent another email today and got the same automated email response. Very disappointed, I really wanted to like this app. And I know it works (when it wants to) because I’ve gotten money back from other places instantaneously. Looks like it only works within a 2 mile radius of my house. At least a follow up response saying something like “we’re still working on your issue”, acknowledging my problem. But sadly no. I’m sure there are other rebate apps that work better, even if I have to scan my receipt.

It’s not worth the few dollars. Update: kudos for a prompt response from the developer (I had a ticket in just two days ago) but I’ve gone back and forth about this for six months. The response ranges from « this is the merchant’s policy to we can’t find it.” I’ve lost about $20 in this so you can keep the $23 already there because it will take 4 months to get the last $2 for transfer. Like I said, it was great until it wasn’t and I rarely write bad reviews but I’m tired of the stock response and nothing earned but frustration Original: I used to like this app s lot. Now its not worth it; its not only painfully long to get a little cash back, but like walmart, if your total shrinks or expands based your need, if it doesn't match dash’s total, youre out of luck. After 30 days or 90 days, to get a dollar or $3 back (if it does that) is nutty. I wouldhave redeemed much more if it worked better and it used to do that quickly and efficiently. Not anymore; now its just awful.

Very disappointed. I was very excited about this app. I have posts on FB and encouraged people to use it. Not anymore. I have to make sure I take pics of my receipts because apparently I have to track all my stuff to make sure I get the money back. I joined because Walmart was one of the places you got cash back from. It was 6% when it started and then I think it dropped to 3% but now it isn’t even on there. Neither is Chevron. Both places I was using for this app. When I realized I wasn’t getting my money back I sent a support ticket. That was Dec 16th. I got a response Feb 19th finally and was told not to use debit but use credit. Well first of all, you didn’t say that when I signed up and second...2 months to respond??? In the mean time I have been to Walmart 20 and have not gotten my cash back from any of those visits either but I gave up because I don’t have time to track all this myself. I might add that since the December ticket I have used credit at Walmart and still not gotten cash back so it seems regardless of debit or credit you don’t get it unless you track it and send a ticket and send photos of your receipts. I have recommended this app to friends and family and posted on FB but I don’t feel confident at this point. It has actually been a major pain to use it. Very poor customer service! You are pushing people to use your app and then don’t take care of the ones who do. Very, very poor customer service.

Didn’t pay like they said on promos. They ran a promotion for $15 per referral. My referrals kept trying to sign up and dosh kept blocking them and throwing up errors saying their system was overloaded due to promo popularity. My friends kept on trying to get through. The minute the promo was over and referral bonus went back down to $5 each, they went right through. I submitted problem “tickets”, wrote emails and sent proof with pictures that had dates on them, and wrote comments on their Facebook page to no avail and no solution. Of course they don’t have a help contact Phone number. Also, we are not in a major metropolitan area. So the offers available to us are very slim and the ones available we hardly use.

Not Useful. I’ve had this app since near its very conception and was intrigued by the idea that I could get cash back whenever I spend. However, since that time, Dosh has not only continually raised the amount of cash back you needed to have to transfer, but they also started charging “Maintenance Fees” which, as far as I can tell, no other cash back option I used charged. It’s like they’re constantly finding ways to keep you from accruing enough cash back to transfer. These fees were charged when I’d moved away from places that were accepting credit instead of debit, and I didn’t understand why I was essentially being punished for that. I feel like unless you’re the type of person to be obsessed with spending aimlessly, this app isn’t going to be useful. And when you’re spending more than you really need to, is the measly amount of cash back you earn (that in no way makes up for what you spent) actually helpful? It’s just another way to promote the businesses that they’ve partnered with. It’s not there to actually benefit you as a consumer.

Poor Customer Service. ***UPDATE*** It’s now been 23 days and 4 tickets later and still no response from customer service. The Facebook messenger bot gives me the standard please submit ticket if not answered within 1 week. I have reopened the original ticket and the second one I placed. Just opened another today. They were quick to open a ticket, suspend my account, and close their ticket but I can’t even get a response from “customer support” or lack there of. Guess the waiting game will continue. I LOVED the app. It was fun to try new places get cash back and share for an added bonus. Then out of the blue I’m locked out and cannot transfer my earnings. So frustrating! All I get is an error. Saying there appears to be possible fraudulent activity. What does that mean?!?! I don’t know please submit a ticket and our customer support will get back to you in 2 business days. That was 2 weeks ago. So have fun while you can because it looks like eventually everybody gets their account suspended after reading the reviews. If you want more stars REPLY to your customers!

It’s a confused mess, and perhaps dishonest. I successfully linked a dozen or so credit cards (not debit) and used them... and used them. Not one transaction was detected by Dosh (or perhaps Dosh collected my monetizable buying activity and just pretended it didn’t so it wouldn’t have to credit my account), and I waited over 30 days – Dosh says maximum waiting time for account credit is 10 days. Additionally, the cash-out threshold of $20 is high, hard to obtain, and Dosh also requires that you spend money with one of their current partners before you can cash out. Their partner offers are limited, often silly, and probably not anything most people want to waste money on anyway. So you can see how it’s a way to trick you into giving up financial/purchase details and funnel money to their partners. While I was able to get a reply (no resolution, as customer support is pretty powerless) via email, Dosh prefers to conduct communications via – wait for it – Facebook! Who uses Facebook, and how shady is that? The app is also rife with grammatical errors that will make you cringe.

Didn’t get cash back on MasterCard.. The app works very well in theory all one has to do is type the credit/debit card in the Dosh account and you can receive cash back instantly. I have received all my refer cash back. However what made me not give this app a 5 star. Was the fact that I have used my Master card HSBC credit twice on eligible sams club items one for 35 dollars and the other for 13 dollars and the total amount of cash back I received for both transactions was 4 cents. That’s ridiculous!!! The cash back for eligible items on those transaction should have way more than 4 cents. I have contacted Dosh support several times about this issue and they only answer me once and that was almost 3 months ago!! They have yet to fix this issue which is getting me frustrated and second guessing about this app! Hopefully no has the problem that I have been dealing with.

Not worth it in my area apparently. I heard that Dosh was this amazing app that alerted you when you got cash back and quickly added the money to your account. All I got from different influential bloggers and YouTuber’s was that Dosh was a “set up and go” app and it did all the work with, what sounded like, an exponential amount of participating stores. However, according to their map of available participants, in my area (Tulsa, Oklahoma) there is hardly ANYONE that participates in Dosh. I went to Ron’s hamburger and got $0.68 immediately for my meal and that’s it. There are a very limited amount of choices through Dosh in my area. Also, this app recently started complaining that my card wasn’t linked to my account. But every time I try to link it, it says that my card is already associated with my account..... I don’t have time for Dosh. You can keep the small amount of money That you’ve “rewarded” me. It’s not worth the hassle.

Poor service. Use Yelp cash back instead. I was drawn in by the $15 referral promotion they had and followed all the steps but never got my bonus. When I submitted a ticket they automatically closed it because it was answered in the FAQ (how could it be! I waited the required 2 days and my bonus did not show up...) So seems like a scam. You're much better off doing Yelp cash back - it gives you the same amount at the same stores but doesn't require you to wait until you can cash out. They just pay you every month. Update: after talking with support, they have told me my referral is invalid even though I shared the referral link directly from the app and followed all of their instructions. Definitely not an app I want to use - they will just claim my bonus payouts are invalid too... totally a scam.

Works but slow to pay cash back. The app is fun to use but if you take advantage of an offer don't expect to get the cash back immediately some offers take weeks apparently others are immediate cash back. Also one business we visited that we found by using DOSH was already out of business so that happens too. If you shop at Sam's Club beware yes you get 2% cash back but apparently some times they don't offer it all the time. **I made an in store purchase and it took months for it to show in my account. I did not make an online purchase.

Money added up...then gone SCAM. I had a good bit of money going, almost enough to transfer. One day, poof, gone, mere pennies left. No reason. We didn’t return the items/purchases on which the cash was earned. I sent an email to their customer service department. This was 3 weeks ago! Not a word of response. We’re done here. So not worth the frustration. DELETE! UPDATE: got a response. Awful. They told me they credited me twice so the “engineers” took the credit back. I responded that they should have only taken the duplicate credit back. The response to that was they credited me 3x and took back 2. She then sent me a screenshot supposedly proving this. All it proved was that they took back ALL of the credit, the cs rep was too dense to understand this. First she changes her story from double credit to triple credit, THEN proves herself wrong and STILL WON’T provide my missing credit. It makes me want to scream. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Can’t check out on most apps. I love the idea and that I got $5 for linking one card. But i have been trying to use the Barnes and Noble‘s website through your app so I can buy my books and every time I go to check out it freezes up and doesn’t let me I have been trying now since last week I went on today and try to again because I thought maybe there was just a problem last week when I tried so I gave it another shot today and look what happened it did the same thing and gave me the same problems I’m really disappointed because I wanted to get my cashback one by my books and now I can’t! This app is an as great as everyone makes it out to be in my opinion

Support never responds. I downloaded the app through a friends recommendation because of a Christmas referral program! It was a good way of promoting the app for good discounts in our area. I told numerous friends and family.. and had a few family and friends sign up. I received the referral bonus for them and continued to tell others about the promotion. They all downloaded the app and linked cards, but I never received the referral bonus or notifications from any of them. I submitted 3 support tickets and still haven’t been credited or contacted by anyone! I understand they are behind because of this promo, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m ever going to get the referral bonus.. hmm! I’ll continue to tell all, in hopes eventually I’ll get rewarded.. patiently waiting!

Eh.. The app was very simple to use and explain to others in the beginning. I referred several people and got my credit two days after and shortly later, I got my first money transfer to the bank. But....I realized they didn’t pay me out for my last 4 referrals. Its been over a week now and 3 days since I submitted a complaint to customer service. I refuse to refer any more people until it is solved. If I’m doing the work promoting for them, I think they should at least respond in a timely matter. Now I regret telling so many people about it. It already takes 3-5 days to go to your bank account so I’m clearly going to have to wait two weeks or until they decide to respond to even get credited for my last four on the app. 😑 Either hire more people or stop the $15 referrals because now people aren’t being paid out for their work and your promise.

Useless app. I’ve been registered with this app for over 6 months and have NEVER received a cash back reward for several purchases. I’ve submitted tickets to notify them of not receiving anything and basically get told by their customer support that I can’t have debit transactions included in the rewards option and that credit card transactions are the only qualifying purchases considered (so I have to encourage going in debt to save money with this app... 🤔). Although I find that the most greedy and inconsiderate way for a company to get my business, I tried anyway and logged my credit card to my account and made repeated purchases to places like Denny’s and Pizza Hut and STILL have nothing but $5 in my wallet. Don’t give this terrible excuse for an app access to sensitive information and giving you nothing in return.

Works but automatic cashback for Apple Pay purchases would be nice. Currently the app doesn’t provide a way to add a user’s device account number (used instead of the card number when paying with Apple Pay) to their Dosh acct so purchases made via Apple Pay don’t automatically show up on Dosh. Allowing users to add the last 4 digits of their device account number for a card linked to Dosh and added to Apple Pay should allow Dosh to handle cashback for these purchases automatically. For now, I appreciate that Dosh gives the cashback when I manually contact them, but the above option would be ideal if possible.

Inconsistency should be their name. Can’t remember how I came across this app, but I was thrilled when I did. I was able to add all my cards, including my debit card so long as I used it as credit, and they would automatically check deals with participating vendors and I’d earn cash back. Well, it didn’t last long. After a while the vendors kept changing, which was fine with me, but my purchases weren’t being tracked. So despite making a purchase at a participating vendor, I wasn’t getting the cash back. I tried deleting and re-adding the cards and still nothing. So I ended up terminating my account. Great idea, but has to have follow through at all times, not just some times.

It’s legit don’t listen to the one stars. You can make money thru this app I’ve already made $180. It’s hard to withdraw your money thru the bank bc it doesn’t send to all the banks a person could have. Save yourself the time and just get a PayPal. I get all my money automatically within seconds when I withdraw. Everyone who gave it a low rating just doesn’t know how to use technology. Yes there is sometimes missing referral rewards but at the end of the day it’s virtually free money, and you can tel them about it and they’ll fix it after a couple days or weeks. Don’t miss out

STEALING MY MONEYYYY. I worked HARD to get $200 worth of referrals and I entered my bank info and cashed out, I was wondering why it was taking so long to transfer and when I clicked transfer it showed a COMPLETELY different account number than what I put in!!! I even took pictures to make sure I wasn’t going crazy but the bank numbers aren’t even similar !!! So I did that same step 5 times in a row and every time the account number changed to something different when I got ready to transfer funds!! I even screen recorded myself typing in my bank info, it accepted it and let me select either my checking or savings account which shows exactly how much I had in my accounts AND AGAIN it switched to a different bank STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE DOSH!! This app won’t last long with this BS !! If I could give 0 stars I would

works. but not every time.. when it says it’ll add money for using this app, it has worked when it has linked some cards. it has worked when i ordered restaurant food for pick-up through DOSH. it has worked when i booked my first hotel with them & got $25 back plus the normal cash back you’d get for booking a hotel through them. but.... i made a purchase at walmart well over $50 a few months ago & was directed to walmart’s website per DOSH’s app & still have YET to receive the cash back for that. that’s not okay to me. i could have used another app & got cash back guaranteed. i am tempted to delete this app especially after the last experience with them. i’m waiting until i cash out my money. it’s skeptical. & when you call customer service you can’t understand the people who answer the phone. it’s like expedia. not organized what so ever.

Won’t Work For Everyone. This app promotes in theory a great concept of earning cash back. But reality you might sign up and not receive anything at all. A friend referred me to the app and all the qualifying places we used our cards, he earned every time and I earned nothing. I emailed three times to customer support and didn’t hear anything over weeks. Finally last attempt they closed my tickets stating how to link a card which I had already done obviously and that they were closing the ticket. So customer services is absolutely non existent and not helpful. Upon my own detective work, another friends slash Dosh user was using his Chase Sapphire card like I and not getting anything. He started using another card and it worked. Apparently dosh doesn’t know who they support so beware when signing up and spending at a participating location. BTW- customer service is horrible. Just wanted to reiterate.

Great App & Great Referral Program!. This app is extremely seamless and literally works to put money back in your pocket without you having to even think about it. I’m not one to leave many reviews, but I had to share about this one. Even more, their referral campaign that just ended was genius, especially right before holiday season kicks off. Companies like this make me believe in them because they’re willing to pay customers to refer their app. That’s how much they believe in their product and that’s why I believe in them even more! Side note: I knew about the $10 referral campaign sooner. Lol. I still made some money though!

They don’t understand “no”. I stopped using the account due to difficulty linking my cards to Dosh. My account has been inactive for quite some time, and I decided it was time to deactivate my account. Went to the site, found the form to get the account cancelled... It had me send an email to customer service, who tried to convince me to stay. After telling them no, I really did want to cancel my account because I am literally not using it, they immediately sent me an automated email saying my request for a service ticket was denied. If I still had an issue, I would need to follow a link to create a new ticket request—the link sent me right back to where I had started, another form to email customer service. I don’t want to keep getting a runaround from a company I am not using and have no intention of using again. If this is their way of getting me to stay, it’s not working.

Worst Customer Service EVER!. I booked a hotel through this app for the first time and when I got to the hotel the rooms were literally INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES! Even when I moved to a different room in a totally different building of the hotel, MORE ROACHES! The first time I called DOSH, they said it would help get me a refund for the room but then when I called back to get it, NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE FOR OVER AN HOUR! And this is the second time I’ve called them and had this happen. Now they say they can’t get me a refund because no one is answering at the hotel’s front desk (big surprise!) and they want me to call back YET AGAIN tomorrow. I just want a refund because I had to go pay again for a different hotel to stay in. HOPEFULLY THAT HAPPENS! I won’t use this app for booking a hotel again and I don’t recommend that you do either! Instead use a company that will be there to support their customers.

Works sometimes. The reason for the 3 stars is because this only works part of the time for me. So all the cash I could have received back since I started this, it just now started working. I did send a message to support and was told to delete the app and re-download it. I did do this with still no luck. I basically just wrote this off to a scheme. Then all these months later it has finally started working some. I will update with a higher rating if it continues and works on a regular basis as it is supposed to. On a positive, I will say that any extra cash is always a plus, correct?

Slow or no pay. I followed all the steps to for setup and attaching my card etc. to the account. I went through the app for online offers for target and hobby lobby, and used in store offers for my local CVS. I never received any cash back, even after the 45-60 day return period they mention for online offers. I emailed their customer support and received an auto reply, which stated it would be a week or two before they could even address my request for customer support. My friend who referred me to the app said she gets cash back for online offers instantly, but I have the same $5 balance I started with. I also tried to reset my password to log in to ask for customer support and they still haven’t sent me a password reset email. Checked my spam, trash, but no email. This app is complete garbage and a waste of time and energy.

My Experience -_-. So my friend signed me up during the $10 referral period. At first I was skeptical but the I saw the reviews. Long story short I made $90 ( with referrals/ totally great full for) in 3 days. Yay! That's great for a college student. MY ISSUE: I'm missing 3 VALID referrals. Referrals where I was right next to my friends when they did Each step. They all did it correctly. So the first time I put in a ticket I got an automatic response.. Saying that their working on it (3 -5). In that another went missing and another. I decided to make a ticket with all 3. Now its been like 2 weeks since any response from them. This morning they sent an email saying "As of now missing referrals have been paid out.." so I rushed to the app to see and my referrals were still missing. No lie I would low key still recommend this app but this is very discouraging. Because I'm being accused of not having valid referrals and that's completely unfair. Nobly kept in touch and then they hit me with that email today. That's very faulty. They need to fix this issue because that's very faulty and there is something going on their end but instead they say your referral isn't valid.

Not as awesome as it used to be but still good considering. I’ll be honest...this app is a heck of a lot easier to use than other cash back apps, like Ebates and Ibotta, since you don’t have to upload a receipt to get your money back. However, it is not as great as it used to be. I remember they offered cash back for hotel bookings, which was amazing and got me to book hotels through this app instead of Orbitz. And now they no longer offer cash back for Sam’s Club and Sephora. So disappointed. :( I hope they add at least Sam’s Club back...I even switched from BJ’s to Sam’s Club because of it! Now I’m tempted to cancel me membership there and go back to BJ’s since it’s closer.

My only problem. My promotional offers came so no problem there. However, I am not always able to login. This happens everyday until very late in the evening then I’m able to login to my account. I usually just keep trying throughout the day then by night, I'm able to login. A message pops up saying “sorry we were unable to log you in”. Plus I want to add I make sure my phone number and password are correct, just in case that may have been one of your explanations to the cause. However, I would like to know why does this happen?

Seems shady. I’m updating my review because I received a developers response to trust them and their automatic system with my BANK login credentials. I WILL NOT. That’s just asking for trouble! Linking a card is one thing but trusting a service to log in to your account is another. If that changes I would consider using this app but until then I’ll just use another cash back app. Still disappointed I just downloaded this app because I saw that you got a $5 bonus for linking a card. So I downloaded for first time and it’s only $1. What got me really upset though is when I try to link card it asks for bank log in info! I will never give that information out. Linking a card is one thing but giving your bank credentials out is asking for trouble. No thank you Dosh. Sad and disappointed

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!. A friend of mine sent me a referral to download Dosh because she knows how much I shop and dine out and wanted me to be able to get some money back. WORST idea ever! I immediately linked all of my cards and started shopping and dining. I noticed I was not getting my cash back and reported the issue. Dosh asked me to provide proof by taking pictures of my receipts. First of all, why should I have to do that when I linked the cards I used and made sure the places I shopped were participants? I obliged though and immediately sent the receipts. This was over a month ago and I keep getting generic emails of how they are looking into it and to be patient. I have been beyond patient and still have received no cash back. The app does NOT work and the customer service is awful. Don’t waste your time downloading this app. I give them no stars and only clicked one because I couldn’t post this review without doing that.

Could be better!. Not all promised offers will get you rewards as the transactions you make on qualifying purchases never show up in your Dosh App as if they never happened. Emailed Dosh support several times saying they would look into the issue and they would let me know what they find out in order to fix the bug and haven’t heard back for several weeks and now transactions that were going through previously are not now so the issue seems to be getting worse. Not so sure for the little rewards you may earn with the inconsistency of the app is worth the risk of sharing your bank information with Dosh and third party company’s.

Never gives money back. I’ve used my linked credit card 3 separate times at Pizza Hut which is one of Dosh’s offers on its app. I’ve never once been credited with the 3% cash back reward. I’ve even emailed Dosh about it thinking it’s a glitch they may need to fix, but not once have they gotten back to me, nor credited my account. The exact same thing happened to my daughter and my friend (both of whom are my referrals to Dosh) when they used their Dosh-linked credit cards at Pizza Hut AND Sephora... neither of them were given the offered reward back on their Dosh app, so I’m not sure this app is very legit.

Great concept and overall great app. To this day, I’ve had no real issues with this app. Why lie, payments do take a while to process but ir regardless, DOSH always pays out. I haven’t made over 1,000 dollars in cash back like many have but I’m so close! I’m so grateful for this app! Yes, you have to file this when it comes to your income but this app is truly helping a college student out. I’m majoring in nursing, so getting paid just to refer people is a great idea to earn some quick cash on the side. This money will be going to my college tuition. 👩🏻‍⚕️ Thank you DOSH for helping people out. You’re making a girls dream come true. ♥️

Really good!. When trying to add my bank account I couldn’t pick my birthdate, it would scroll down enough for that. Other than that I love this app Edit: Thank you for responding to my review! I was very skeptical about this, just like many people are. I linked two cards finally when a trusted friend told me she received over $60. I did it, and after only 2 days, I earned $81. It did take 3-4 days to show up. And then when I transferred the funds, it took another 3-4 days to go into my account. BUT I spent zero dollars for this money. And BRAVO to you all for doing this promo, super smart to quickly get the word out for your service! It reminds me of how smart Uber was!

Impossible to earn cash back. This app requires a minimum amount to receive your cash out. I have had this app installed for almost 2 years and still haven’t been able to reach the minimum threshold. I had a pending cash back offer from a purchase I made directly through the app. Without notice the pending amount disappeared. I contacted customer service and they said it took to long to process my amount which caused the amount to disappear. They said I could send them a full copy of my credit card statement to prove no reversal or return happened and they might be able to get me my credit. No way I’ll giving you full access to my credit statement just to earn a $4 credit... Very disappointed with this app and how impossible it is to actually earn.

Terrible customer service!!. I accidentally pressed the wrong date when booking one of my hotels and I called them immediately, they refused to give me my money back claiming it was the hotel! Called the hotel to see if I can get my money back they told me they don’t even have the reservation yet and they can’t give money back because they don’t have it but they would if they could the third party company has my money and they say that so they don’t have to give money back and they try and charge the hotel 35 dollars if someone wants there money! I called them again to see if there was anything they could do even just give me a credit and they still refused!! They are terrible terrible company who doesn’t care about customer loyalty just about quick cash that they stole from me! Be careful when working with them! I will never use again and would never recommend!

Referral & cash back. I started using Dosh last week , earned $5 just for signing up , then I started referring my friends and family , I made 140$ in just one week. The con with this app is , I had about 3 to 4 friends/family who signed up with my help and I actually watched them link a card , but I got no notification of them signing up with my link and it’s been 5 days and I haven’t received any referral bonus at all , I have contacted support plenty of times , & all I get is a email stating my ticket has been created. I’m not sure why some referrals come through and others ones don’t. & I have yet to receive a response from the actual dosh customer service. I feel like the app does owe me for the few referrals that weren’t logged for whatever reason , other than that I love the app.

Will not add my bank no response from support. I followed all directions and got $96 in rewards. I go to transfer the funds into my bank. My bank wasn’t on the list so I had to enter manually. It will NOT add my bank. I know for a fact the account number and the routing number is correct. It gives me an error screen every time I try and add my bank. I contacted support via email and ZERO response going on 48 hours. When it’s dealing with money they need to be quicker to respond. Also I helped a friend sign up and add a card and I didn’t get nothing for it. Didn’t even show where she registered with my link. So the links are glitchy but the main problem is bank transfer. I can not transfer to a PayPal account because I have no PayPal account. Not gonna get one either.

DON’T Refer your friends to this USELESS app!. Sure, I got my referral incentive money but that’s just about it! Nothing is useful in this app. Neither “nearby” or “online” stores, unless you purchase flowers online, often. Not even a Sam’sClub member will benefit from this app! I’m not a member but I feel for them since they can’t receive any cash back for shopping there. Only those who love Pizza Hut can order as much as they desire, so they may love this app. I’m not a fan of Pizza Hut so I don’t bother using this app for that. There’s nothing I really can use. Unfortunately, Target was removed from the list of merchants. If you shop online, there’s literally only a handful-maybe about 5 or 6, tops-of where you can shop. Quite a pathetic list. But thanks for the $50 in referrals, it’s a shame that my referrals can’t get anything out of this app.

Two Thumbs Down, Don’t Waste Your Time. Hands down the absolute worst customer service of any modern app/service. You can ONLY contact them via submitting a support ticket— no email, no phone, no chat. I have submitted 3 support tickets for one missing cash back; two replies were from the same agent who flippantly says “Looks like there was no offer for that merchant, have a great day!” Completely ignoring the screenshots and matching receipt of the offer on the app, which has been available for over a month now and lists the location I went to as participating. My 3rd ticket got zero response. I feel like it’s just a bot with a form reply. So basically, you MIGHT get cash back, but if you don’t, don’t bother submitting a ticket because every time I have (this isn’t even my first issue) they will just tell you there’s no offer, despite any evidence to the contrary.

Can’t sign up. I’ve tried all day yesterday and today to sign up. My name is in waiting list. Which I’ll receive a text or email. After midnight last night. I was able to sign up. Only made to where I had to put in my phone. I can’t sign up because someone is using my phone number!!! I’ve never signed up before. So therefore my number shouldn’t be used. I only rated one star because someone is using my number and preventing me to sign up. Plus I haven’t received any emails. Can’t receive a text because someone is using it!!! Fix the problem and I’ll rate more stars. I Facebook messenger you guys. Only get a reply of uninstall and install again. That’s it!!! I’ve done numerous times. No Luck!! Just now tried it again. STILL CANT!!’ When does some up when you put the on a waiting list? Especially when someone is using my phone?? WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!!

Love it!. I found Dosh through Facebook, probably just like everyone else lol. I started it and at first was like okay sure you get free money. So I had my hubby sign up under me and I link 2 cards. So I got $21 in my wallet and was like okay it's just a little money, I'm gonna try to cash out, so I did. Little that I knew that $21 help fill my gas tank when I had barely any money. So I got a little more serious. But not TOO serious about it. Now I've made a total of $156. Which I'm gonna try to save it all for when I struggle for money again. Thank you Dosh for making my life a little bit easier this month!

Got cold feet.... I downloaded the App, but couldn’t bring myself to using it because of many concerns. Yes, my credit cards are secure (so they say), but wouldn’t all their transaction histories be shared with third parties (sold to add and other companies)? DOSH would know all about my shopping profile: what I buy, where I shop, how much I’m willing to pay for stuff, how frequently I use my cards, etc. My phone number and bank account are there as well, adding to security risk. That’s a treasure trove of data from thousand of users. Many companies would pay a fortune for that aggregate, location specific data. And yet users will gladly give them a continuously growing pile of very personal data. Just for an handful of dollars... I still have it two stars because I got tempted by the idea.

Wont pay referral bonus. After signing up I also had a couple people sign up. This was in January when you received a 15 dollar referral bonus. The last day of sign ups for that bonus I had two other people sign up and they both received an email that sign ups were full and they would get an email once it became open again. They received the email within a week and it stayed to still use the link so that the person referring received their referral credit and that it would be paid the first week of February. I have never received credit for either person and tried contacting customer service and the response they gave was we have already paid out all referrals already to people saying they haven't received one. Even though that is not true because I haven't received mine.

Promptly Resolved Issues Re: Inactivity. I had left a review earlier regarding my disappointment in being charged a maintenance fee for the account while I have been unable to make purchases and eat out at places I used to as a result of the pandemic and my own financial instability. I want to acknowledge that Dosh has been very helpful in resolving this matter and instead, they do deserve 5 stars for promptly resolving the issue. My suggestion is to add more staple stores like grocery stores or pharmacies; it’s a little tone deaf to push places of leisure more than the essentials at this time.

Thinking of leaving. Went to just add my Apple credit card and they have moved to some account linking thing so you can’t just add your card number anymore. Not cool. One I’m not comfortable giving you my bank login no matter what you or anyone says. Two with the Apple Card there isn’t one so how are you going to log into an account that isn’t a thing? Also I know I was late to the game with Dosh but it seems that a lot of the retailers that were on here at first are jumping ship. So that’s saying something isn’t sitting right with this service. O well at least I made enough one time to cash out. Was a cool concept but I think I’m out now that I can’t just add new cards when I get them and need to enter in my bank info. Really not cool and I’m not sure why you thought that would be ok with most people. Change your ways and I might come back.

Nice and convenient!. I’ve had trouble a few times getting cash back from Sam’s purchases. I haven’t tried it anywhere else so I can’t review anything other than Sam’s purchases. It’s hit or miss, whether you use the Scan and Go App or the check out lane! I love seeing the Dosh alert immediately after completing transaction, just wish it happened EVERY time!! The referral program is awesome!! I referred a friend and as soon as she used it at Sam’s we BOTH got money back!! Love getting paid to shop, let’s just get more consistent and I’ll refer Dosh to many more people. Actually the three times I didn’t get cash back I went through the check out lanes and said credit. When I did the scan and go I got money back so like I said it’s hit or miss.

50 bucks back!. This is great for Christmas time if there is a gift you buy from one of their qualified vendors. Getting 50 bucks back from restaurants and Christmas purchases! Make sure you pay attention….a lot of these vendors you need to actually click on through the app and make the purchase by connecting through the app otherwise, you won’t get your qualified funds. Definitely make sure you connect all of the cards you use prior to using so you are guaranteed to get your money! Always fun to see random funds pop up from a restaurant that you didn’t even know qualified.

Dishonest Company. I liked this product at first so I referred it to a friend. I didn’t get paid my referral bonus, so I emailed them about it. They said that my friend probably didn’t follow the link to create an account properly, and that was why it didn’t show up in their system. Then I emailed back saying that I know he did because I watched him do it. They replied saying they were aware that there was an error and that some people’s referral bonuses didn’t get paid out during that period of time, but that they had already paid out all the bonuses they were going to pay and weren’t giving any more people the money they promised them. After this exchange, I no longer wanted to do business with this company. There’s no way to delete your account from the app so I sent multiple emails requesting that my account be deleted, which were all ignored. I do not recommend getting involved with this app.

They have all my financial info but no way to cancel!. Seemed like a good idea so I signed up. Gave them all my bank and credit card info then realized that my everyday purchases didn’t get me anything back. Decided to cancel and couldn’t find any way to do it through the app. Used the “help” section of the app to submit a cancellation request and they don’t seem motivated to answer. It’s a scary thought to hand over so much financial info without a way to cancel their services. I wouldn’t recommend this app for this reason! Edit: I now see several developer responses to similar reviews telling people to submit requests on social media. Seems like a desperate ploy for more exposure on social media....just respond to your own apps direct messages!

Awesome to disappointed. This app was awesome when I first signed up, had great cash back from stores I shop in store quite often. Sam’s was my first in-store earning and I didn’t even know I had earned money from my visit until I opened my app a few weeks later! I had actually forgotten about it but I had earned almost $17 from one sams shopping trip! A few trips to other stores and earned money a few times, but like the other apps the offers from stores you frequent disappear, I keep checking Sam’s and I get the “this store doesn’t offer in-store cash back”...well sadly it did when I signed up apparently. Some people still like to shop in the stores sometimes like wal-mart and Sam’s instead of online every time. Ibotta is still the app that gets me my most cash back.

Is this app a scam?. Recently, social media has been flooded with getting people to download this app by referring them. Each time a person refers someone, they get money. People have been racking up hundreds and thousands of dollars of “free money” just by referring people in your name. Someone said that you have to pay this back in taxes and some other rumors. The main thing is that this money that u get from referrals is not your money in the end and it’s a catch. I have not participated in it yet besides actually getting legit cash back from going to actually stores and restaurants-the main purpose of the app. I will not be participating in that unless I know it is legit. Other than that, pretty good app!!

Good Review with a bit of confusion/dissatisfaction. Hey I love the app & all that it has to offer. But as soon as I start collecting the cash in and keep it there. Sooner or later imma want to take it out... earlier this morning I tried to see if I could take the dosh cash I’ve earned and transfer it to my account. Now while answering my security questions I got to the third question and it just kept repeating the same question. Over,over & over & over again... and I had went to my online banking account refreshed all my answers went back to the app & still wouldn’t let me get my cash and transfer it to my personal account.. why does it do that and how can I get a hope to the money I have.?!

No app support!. Dosh app support is pathetic. I, first, reported this issue on February 20th after trying to figure it out on my own and I have yet to receive any response. The issue is that I’ve tried linking my state employees credit union NC bank account several times and have been annoyingly unsuccessful. I put in my login credentials and it keeps asking me the same security question over and over and over. I, ALSO, tried entering the information manually and when I put in my account and routing number, that I’ve checked for accuracy, it gives me an error message stating “no positive or negative information has been reported on the account”! I’ve closed the app, reopened it, uninstalled and installed again and guess what? Nothing has changed. Guess who can’t cash out their earned cash back and referral money? Me! Guess who cares? Not Dosh :(

Deceptive. I was reading through the reviews, trying to make up my mind whether I wanted to try Dosh or not. Just looking at the amount of 5 star reviews shown on the graph, I was hopeful, but I noticed that the great majority of those so called 5 star reviews are actually one star bcz their comments are 100% negative. Also what made up my mind to bypass this app, was bcz the Developer’s response is either blaming everyone else for their shortcomings, or they’re telling people how busy their staff is trying to respond to everyone’s written concerns and that’s why you get no response from customer service for months, if you even get one at all. My tip for the Developers- Realize that good customer service is what will make your business a success in the long run, so stop being greedy and HIRE MORE PEOPLE And stop blaming others for your mistakes and bad service. Nobody is falling for that.

Not legit...not listed in App Store! Daily subscriber limits!. Try to find this in the App Store… It doesn't exist. Check your downloaded list for apps… It doesn't exist. Why is it that Apple does not allow it in the App Store? What is wrong with this app that makes Apple not want to touch it? I discovered this oddity when I got the "daily subscriber limit" screen when I try to join... and wanted to base my review on that bogus item… And I had a hard time tracking this down again so I could leave this review...I had to return to the original link and pretend to download it again in order to get to this location. Wants my mobile phone number to let me know when I can join. I dont have a mobile phone number...I use an iPad on wireless. Believe it or not, there are people who do not own telephones but do have mobile devices. It also wants you to login based on Farcebook or Google...neither of which I use as well. Discrimination is unbecoming. Allow us to use simply our email address, not a phone number, And not tied to some other sites login profile. I do not consider this to be a legitimate app if apple does not allow it in their store, and if we can't login via simply an email address without using another site profile.
