Its ok...the thing that makes me so mad is the adds on top of adds that keep playing while another add is already on and then my show keeps playing. To make it worse the adds will freeze and you cant play them or even touch the screen idk if its a glitch but it doesn’t even let me buy the premium version so i can get rid of adds.
Just like Crunchyroll this app just does not function with Apple devices save your money and seek out other services for anime in the web! I can not understand why Apple allows non functional apps in the App Store!
Ok,I really like the amount of Variation of anime’s but THE ADS! I feel like right when something good is going to happen There’s an ad.
Website offers more convenience because it allows PiP.
The shows are great, the app works great. Only complaint is that there is no multitasking support, and no PIP.
It never seems to connect to Vrv even though I’m a premium member it always tells me to go to offline mode even though I have 4G internet or I’m on WiFi it never seems to connect and it lags been going on like this for 2 months now and haven’t seen any changes done to it yet. Seems pointless to keep paying every month for this service if it’s never connecting me to VRV. So I’ll be unsubscribing to this service till they fix the problem
In my opinion best app but some bugs 5star for me
The new Watchlist is completely useless. Trying to find the certain show you are looking for by a thumbnail followed by just a season and episode number is absolutely ridiculous. Bring this back or you are sure to lose quite a bit of business as all over Reddit there are massive amounts of complaints about this one thing and threats to leave the service.
The app works fine but it has WAYYYYY to many adds! There are more adds than anime!
VRV is a subscription service for subscription services, surreptitiously reinventing the wheel with normal television. I find myself not hating what is essentially pay-per-channel TV, then hating myself for not hating what is essentially pay-per-channel TV. I believe the platform has the right model and is clearly a candidate for kicking off what will likely be the next chapter of video media... If they can stop the app from crashing LITTERALLY(as in the textbook definition of the term) every other minute. Otherwise they would have my full support. Cheers
I don’t know why the change happened to the “My Lists” section happened but it is throwing me through a loop. I guess I just prefer to look for the anime cover when searching for it.
I’m glad to see the full screen of the new iPad Pro is supported finally, but now my subscription seems to be offering ads on an inconsistent basis. I’ve been a customer of VRV nearly since the launch, but now I’m thinking of unsubscribing. I’ll watch on my iPad and get ads on Crunchyroll, but then log into the VRV website and get no ads on the same episode. This has also happened in reverse. I don’t like paying a Premium for the Ad-Free experience then getting ads like it’s a free account for Crunchyroll. The UI and offering has vastly improved over the past few months, but now I feel like the service is testing ads and that’s pretty lame.
for some reason, it’s saying that it’s not in my region anymore and it was just working fine yesterday.
I like it. It’s a good app but there’s one flaw... the ads I noticed that it’s the same ads over and over
the actual app is fine but the service could be worked on, don’t expect a lot from vrv
I have been using VRV as a premium user for quite a while now and I am a fan of the service in general. I like the small additions you have made along the way, such as the 10s forward/rewind, the skip to next episode, and so on. Sometimes I run into some small inconveniences, like not being recognized as premium occasionally or the trickiness when I have to re log in. However the most recent update (1.20.0) changed the “My lists” section from a list of my queued shows to most recently watched episodes. I honestly can’t stand this; I prefer having the option to search through shows as opposed to episodes. With this new feature, it is harder for me to check for new episodes and I personally find it messier than usual. If you could please add this option back, perhaps with a filtering option for the my shows list, that would be a much more enjoyable experience. I don’t mind seeing what episodes are new or what I’ve just watched, but I like sorting through the list of shows.
It’s a nice app with a variety of things to watch. However there are some bugs within’ it.
Sometimes when I get an ad during an episode of something, the ad won’t play, so I’m just staring at a black screen. I can still watch the show, but I won’t be able to see it, I’ll still be staring at a black screen with audio.
ADS. So mostly people are mad because of the ads and I can see why.I recommend lowering how many ADS are in a Episode by |2| which will equal to a total of |8| ADS instead of 16.I see it as a great balance if people can’t afford or don’t want to get premium. Premium. With premium you can watch exclusive anime, shows, series, and movies/more anime. And you can also download anime, Shows etc.. for offline viewing which Is pretty good. And if you don’t want ADS and get higher Quality with HD then I DEFINITELY recommend this option. My Experience/option. I use premium and it is the best thing ever, I get a great experience and amazing anime and quality.Well done.
So i happen to notice that while i was going to go back to my favorite dubbed anime i realize that its gone completely because it belonged to funimation. Then i checked the channels tab and its gone!!!!! Am i late to knowing this and anyone else know why?
