Intriguing. Great different HO puzzles, graphics terrific, inanimate objects also interact when touched, liked finding the cards and morphing objects as a sideline, puzzles were very different, length of game great!

This One Is Fun!!. This will be up there with my favorites. Although, I really wish that the Guide was readily accessible in the game. But I am sure they have their reasons. Shadowland has some great puzzles, games and HOA’s. There were only a couple that I really struggled with. Although, most of them are good challenges. You won’t go wrong if you get this one. And play it again and again!

Great game!. I play a great many of Big Fish games and this by far my favorite. It has a great story, it’s nice and long and the graphics are very nice. My favorite aspect of this game is that it’s not too dark. I have trouble seeing and was able to play comfortably. Well done!

Loved it! ❤️🐭❤️. Great storyline, very creative. Although the objects were mostly some sort of key that opened a drawer or something, I did not feel that took away from it because it was so creative. Great graphics. Great characters, based loosely and amusingly on Alice in Wonderland of course. HO games were not too hard, but not dumb easy. The other type games were very visual, which is a disability of mine, but I never got too frustrated waiting for the skip button. I feel it was pretty long, as it took me about six hours. Glad I got it! Have fun!

Top-notch game. An interesting take on the Alice-in-Wonderland characters, the game is filled with beautiful graphics, with many objects throughout that respond to touch just for fun, collectibles that you can actually find, and interesting games. The use of magic is appropriate to the story without being hackneyed. Highly recommended.

Still works, buy. This one actually still works on ipad. The first two in the series don’t as of right now.

Alice needs more help. Enjoyed the game and graphics. I've never had to use the HINT so much in any game I've played. Maybe I should have done the hookah thing before I started playing! HOS were different but after the first two I understood how to better go about finding things. I should have used the map more than I did. It would have cut the use of the HINT significantly.

Great game. I just finished the main game and I loved the length of it and the variety of the HOP's. Also enjoyed the special touches like flowers and flames that change colors when you touch them, or objects that move or make sounds when touched. Granted those little extras aren't necessary to the story/game play, but I think they are signs of a quality game. If the developer takes the time to add these extras, it seems likely they would also put great care into the game itself. Looking forward to the bonus game.

Very Good. Not much to say as everything was very good. I agree with another reviewer that the ending was abrupt and didn't cover how everything was worked out. After great explanations throughout the game and an engaging storyline, this was a let down. The puzzles were varied and fun, and the bonus game was a good prequel.

Spectacular Graphics and Mini Games. Big Fish's interpretation of the 'dupe' Alice is highly engaging. The HOP contains exquisite graphic design, some novel and complex mini games, and decent length considering average standard in the market. Personally I adore how the GM worked hard to create an alternative world and to reinterpret the some what cliché Alice tale with a modern, hopelessly romantic twist. Plus the bonus chapter adds a great addition to the story line. Minus one star for the game's anti-climatic resolution, to not spoil too much I'll refrain to suggest it simply seems too rush an ending, especially after all the built-ups. Plus the control mechanism and smoothness of coordination is just around average(e.g. compare to newer versions in Big Fish's catalogue such as te Grim Tale and the most recent PuppetShow). Nonetheless Alice overall is a great experience, definitely worth the price during sales. Maybe try the advance mode for more fun.

Whimsy Inc!. I've never purchased a game without having read all my BF senior reviewers! I bought this one sight unseen and I'm so sorry I'm not able to do a stellar job outlining the game and noteworthy events within the game. That said, I love this flight of whimsy and I'm happy I did...thank you to those of you who take reviewing seriously and who's judgement I trust completely!

Shadowland is the bomb! Better find Alice. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The graphics were colorful and quirky. Lots of HOP and a lot of new kind of puzzle that were not too hard but challenging. I used the skip by accident and was bummed I didn't get to solve it. On the whole I would recommend this game to who likes a back story and explains it as you go along. It is Alice in Wonderland with all the characters. I very sad it's over I really would love to play another light hearted game. I really enjoyed this game. I don't write reviews often, but had to for this one. Now I'm on to the bonus ,hope it long! LindaL

Different sort of game. There were definitely new features in this game. That took a little getting used to - but they were a refreshing change from the same old stuff. HOS were better than average and there weren't too many of them. Most mini-games were challenging yet do-able. It all adds up to a nice package!

Ready to go to Shadowland!. Such a Very, Creative adventure. Storyline is most enjoyable, with lots to see & do. Love this take on the famous classic tale of Alice in Wonderland. Beautifully balanced with variety of hidden object scenes, puzzles and collectibles. Loved the pull out tab - letting you know if there were more that you needed to find in the scene. Characters were outstanding! I have been so mesmerized & intrigued with this game, that I have been trying to play it slowly, as to take everything in and in addition to make this game last! This is a Very Well thought out game with logical tasks & moves. You are however, provided a teleporting map which is always a plus. Highly, recommend this entertaining gem of a game. What a treat - 2 awesome games in a row. Buy it and take a trip to Shadowland!!!! Love it!. This is a great game - lots of different, interesting HOPs, & the games are unusual too. It really captures the weirdness of the original story, "Alice in Wonderland" but changes the story enough to be really fun! The graphics are really pretty throughout the game, and the voices are great! Nice storyline, and even though there is a bit of back & forth, (I've yet to find a game that doesn't have that) the transport map makes it easy. It marks when there's an active situation, and whisks you there. You collect cards & morphs in each scene, & the "easy" game has a pull-out "menu" on the left side (it's the heart) that lets you know how many of each are in the current scene. I really enjoyed this one, and I highly recommend buying it!

My Kind of Game. I enjoyed this game and its nuances. I enjoyed the Dana Knightstone series and was sad when I couldn’t keep playing them. Hopefully, this series of gams won’t go anywhere anytime soon. My only complaint would be the music choices. Got really repetitive and annoying, but turning it off makes for a dull experience. I’d choose a different soundtrack.

I Love This Game!. I’m giving it a 5 star because it’s been a long time since I found a game like this with interesting puzzles and taking me into different scenes to keep from getting bored. Alice in wonderland fell into the Mad Hatters head and came out spectacularly!. Oh My! Where to start? Artwork- gorgeous! Transporting indicated map- yes and with collectable indicators and smooth transition! No diary but I'll forgive that. Custom difficulty, creative hop and mini games, amazing storyline! Your name is Alice - they got that part right - but you are not the Alice foretold in the prophecy. Nevertheless you are kidnaped by a shadow and brought to wonderland where the princess of hearts is a tyrant and mechanical monsters steal shadows to turn into slaves. Can't say more without giving up plot twists but let me say WOW!!! If we had 6 stars I would have given it as a rating! Verdict: BUY!

Seems okay. No glitches, but too many gimmicks for my taste. Using the watch to locate items to see the past is boring. Climbing up a damaged rope ladder is boring. The HO scenes were okay. The map was good and allowed teleporting. It just didn't grab my interest.

Bridge to another world. Game is fun. Graphics are lovely and colorful. It's easy but not so much that it is not challenging. Filled a lot of hours, but you are not so tied to it, that you cannot come back and step right back to wonderland....

Pretty Good. The storyline dragged a bit in the beginning, but then felt extremely rushed at the end. However, for the most part, it was captivating and fun. Very interesting take on the classic characters. The puzzles were plentiful, and sometimes, a few too many little puzzles that slowed the plot. Plus, I felt like they were too easy to solve. I'll be playing a more challenging setting, and see how it plays out then, and write an update. Beautiful game, and interesting animations! Happy Solving Everyone!

Fun game!. I very seldom rate games, but this one was quite enjoyable! Usually the mini-games are annoyingly too hard to crack, but these mini-games were much easier to solve but not stupidly easy.

Good game. Terrible pop ups to rate game.. This horrible practice of pop up box after pop up box to review the game is awful. The first one hits barely 15 minutes into the game. Seriously? I wish Apple would ban this practice because big fish is one of the worst publishers when it comes to this nonsense. A friendly reminder at the end is enough. This is infuriating.

Great fun and variety but too abrupt of an ending. There are some stellar moments and good originality in this eerie riff of Alice in Wonderland. Great minigames and puzzles. Fundamentals are all really good, really long playing time and the story was one you could lose yourself in...and I did. Which is why I'm deducting an entire star for the goofy, discombobulated ending that made absolutely no sense. After buying into the five star reviews for the entire game, the devs really let me down at the end. Still, definitely worth buying. A fairy tale classic retold brilliantly. Don't miss this 5 star game!. This is Alice in wonderland the next generation meets awesome character development with a sprinkle of challenging but fun puzzle games. It should please everyone from the novice gamer all the way to the fairy tale diehards. The scenery is beautiful, the story is compelling, and the navigation nearly flawless. What more do you want from a game? Highly and eagerly recommended.

BEWARE OF SALE PRICE VS REGULAR PRICE. Here’s the thing. I am disabled and was fortunate enough for family to buy me a iPad for Xmas. So when I saw this game on sale for $2.99 it was something I could afford. Well they charged me FULL price of $6.99, I know for most people that is nothing, however it’s a prescription for me. When you call the number that is listed from bank charge, some recorded message that does not allow you to talk or options to resolve this issue. In the past I had Big Fish membership for over 5 years. So disappointed that I feel customers are being taken advantage of. I’m sure they won’t read this or care, therefore I will NEVER purchase a Big Fish game again. It’s a shame because I really liked the game. I would have given 5 stars. Buyer Beware.

Bridge to shadowland. Really enjoyed all the references to Alice in Wonderland. Lots of unique puzzles. Lots of different places to investigate. This is the first review I have ever written after playing hundreds of these types of games. Really enjoyed this one.

Music, Music, Music. I had just finished a Grimm game and really enjoyed it. I opened Alice in Shadowland on my iPad and it wouldn't go any further. I always read reviews and someone said shut it down completely and reinstall. I did that and had no problems the whole game. Not only was the scenery gorgeous, the story line was easy to follow, but the Music got me. I recognized some of the songs and sang while playing. I have to say that this is my first review, but with a game with so many different things to keep you enthralled I had to give a review. The only thing I didn't care for was the ending, no spoilers here so I can't say why. Thanks so much for a truly enjoyable game.

Beautiful but klunky. Absolutely gorgeous artwork fallen prey to clumsy, if not inept game planning. A few times a minigame neglects to inform you of your challenge (spider catching), or repeats a quest when you've accomplished it (finding the whistle). Pieces go missing (spell-casting man trapped in a bottle helps you but disappears from your inventory after only 2 of his 8 puzzle pieces are retrieved --then he shows up again?) You find a bell clapper, put it in place, but the game tells you it's missing, which is irrelevant to solving that puzzle. I can see it guys! You collect an oiled cloth well before you get to use it, but using it is not at all intuitive. You get a lighter that disappears from inventory before you use it. The artist(s) need to find a developer worthy of their talent.

Such a great game. I really liked that even items that were just part of the scene changed if you touched it this game was really nicely done.

Alice in Shadowland. I really enjoyed this game, but I think it could've been a bit longer. I'm either playing these games too fast or they aren't long enough. Lol! I do enjoy playing them. This game gave me everything I could ask for in a game. I'm on to my next search for another game to play on my iPad mini 2.

Incomplete Story. The game and the music are wonderful. The story really draws you in. But once you get to the end it just stops without really resolving anything. There is also a bonus chapter that fills a tiny bit of a huge pre-story plot hole, but still leaves the most critical information out. It's super frustrating, so I can't recommend that anyone buy this game.

Sorry This One Just Couldn’t Keep My Interest!. I guess I’m the odd woman out here but I didn’t find the storyline kept my interest, there wasn’t much of a variety of HOP’s & the mini-games weren’t very unique or exciting. There was also only 2 extra items to search for throughout the game. This one just couldn’t keep my interest!

On a good note, nice to see most of those delusional DTE posts by certain members are gone from several of the latest games, and the AppStore reviews of late are as intended..on point and much appreciated!

My favorite hidden object game!. I have bought dozens of Big Fish games, and have enjoyed them. The translations are sometimes confusing, and plots can be repetitive or silly, but I love the puzzles. Alice is different! The plot keeps you interested and the voices are very well done. I found myself loving the story line and really getting involved, just like a good book. Thank you for such a well-crafted game.

Love it. Four Friends is always a winner. This is an updated take on Alice in Wonderland-sinister version. The graphics are impressive with loads of detail. Morphing objects and collectibles. Games are fun. Lots of talk but not oppressive. Map, levels of difficulty. This game has it all and I am enjoying it very much.

Fun! I like it!. I bought the game on sale but it would be worth it to pay full price. Its good and long, I wasn’t taking my time with it at all and it still gave many hours of fun. The story is a cool twist on Alice in Wonderland and the main character is witty, I liked being her. The voice acting is good and not stupid, the cut scenes were enjoyable, and the puzzles were challenging but didn’t frustrate me to the point of wanting to skip anything. Good music and the HOs were lovely and really detailed (you can zoom in) and changed things up frequently too, sometimes lists words or by silhouette, by association, or have to combine stuff in the scene to reveal an object, etc. I liked the customizable difficulty settings and the map was useful. Nothing was glitchy. Lots of “hmm” and “oh good! I know what to do with this!” And “gasp! Oh no! I’ll save you!” There’s a little pull-menu to tell you how many morphing objects/cards are left to find in a scene and at the end of the game you can travel back to anywhere you missed something. The tasks were varied so nothing felt repetitive. My only complaint is the story ending was a bit unsatisfying, but the bonus chapter kind of made up for it. Overall I had a lot of fun with this game. Would recommend.

Go, Go Alice. I am so happily surprised that this is a great game. Being a play on Alice in Wonderland where instead of a queen of hearts it’s a king of hearts. This could have been a real bad game quickly but it’s a fun wonderful game to play. The graphics and colors are so beautiful. Plenty of HOS & mini-games that keep you interested plus a storyline that is easily followable. Sometimes the story of some of these games is so convoluted I end up not paying attention to the story after a while. Thanks for a fun and entertaining game!

Great fun. The story is a fun twist on Alice in Wonderland. Relatively easy, great HOPs and mini games. I loved the collectibles counter at each scene. A good buy.

Bridge to Another World: Alice in Shadowland by LynxMinx. This was a total winner! BigFish, why do we not get more from this developer, 4Friends? It seems like we get all the "E" developers (EIPIX, ERS, Elephant and even Elefun) on a more regular basis. But then developers such as Domini, Mariaglorum, 4Friends, Sunward, and BOOLAT, all of whom create games we rate between 4 and 5 stars, are rare! Yet you torment us with Daily Magic (and their leaping inventory) instead of looking to these other fantastic developers. Note to Minipaws: thank you for the heads-up, and I will even admit that the mouse was adorable. Keep up your great reviews and if people don't like them, no one is holding guns to their heads and forcing them to read the reviews. Just be your wonderful, lovable self 🐩💋❤️🤙🏻! On to the game. This was a twisted take on Alice in Wonderland, and the developer paid homage to its author, Lewis Carroll, by naming the baby after him, and spelling it Carroll rather than Carol. I didn't know if anyone noticed but I just wanted to point it out. You could customize settings. The storyline was a wild ride and so much fun! The graphics were exquisite and colorful. The game was definitely lengthy with the bonus adventure, although it seemed shorter because I didn't want to finish it. There were many locations to unlock, and at each you have morphing objects and playing cards to collect, and the map will indicate if there are any left to find, as well as an on-screen indicator. The teleport map was marked with available actions, and provided smooth transport to other locations. Loading was not quite instantaneous between locations, but it was still very quick and fluid. Within the map you could also view your objectives, notes and achievements. Although there wasn't really a cohesive journal, objectives were regularly updated. Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. You get magical items like a compass and clock to use, but I won't do any spoiler alerts for those who like surprises! The HO scenes didn't have a ton of variation; they also revisited the scenes and normally I remove stars but these were so much fun to do that I didn't mind for a change. There were various puzzles/games, and a lot were rotational, but once again I loved the game so I didn't deduct a star for lack of originality. The gameplay was smooth and I didn't encounter any glitches. 4Friends gave us a fabulous, magical experience in this little gem. Tap on everything; even elements that have nothing to do with actual gameplay might do something surprising. Once again, I won't go into details because I want every gamer to enjoy this experience as much as I did! My review will stand at a full 5 stars. Top notch and long. Loved this as I love Alice in Wonderland (political illustration of monarchies). Gave 5 for playability and games and absolutely superb and original games and puzzles.
