Support leaves much to be desired. The game is nice looking, but often enough times there are game mechanics that don’t operate as described like immunity from attacks. Also, the game has so many layers of unnecessary complexity with all of the different currencies / exchanges that have to take place. Plus, the mini games are a selling point, but they seem to stop after chapter three. If that’s a glitch, then the support hasn’t responded to my report from last week and no resolution is in sight. The game heavily weights those that are willing to pay for the upgrades, but it stinks for those disadvantaged. I find it strange that the visible metrics on which to determine ability to win battles are not as useful because I can punch above my weight based on group power rating in one area and lose based on the same metric in another area. In addition, the weapon and armor rank upgrading system seems silly to have to get the same item from one rank to the next, so does the character have to turn in these materials only to then go find them elsewhere? Weird? Plus, the ratio for obtaining items versus attempts seems to be way off as I can battle 6 times and only get one character card even though each of those battles was 12 energy, but that could just be me since I’m only giving them ad revenue instead of direct revenue.

Fun and Semi-Casual. I have been trying to find a fun game that doesn’t consume your time and money. The game does offer instant completion features, however you will have to purchase a pack to get unlimited raid tickets to do so or earn them each day in game. I have paid $1.99 to get these unlocked and that is all. Otherwise the progression is reasonable. The graphics are pretty and funny. The characters are very cartoonishly designed but still nice. I do recommend giving it a try to at least level 50 before you decide. I think the $1.99 was at least worth it to speed up grinding that would otherwise take several minutes. The basics are to gather heroes and later on titans to farm items and resources to level up further and summon more playable characters. Team synergy is very important especially in arena areas where it is on auto. I have 20+ heroes and while I do primarily use the base team I received when first starting the game, I also try to split resources to make well balanced alternates for further progression. One thing I do like about this game is the fact it shows you who needs something, where to get it, and takes you there with one click. Overall I think the worst thing I have found is the difficulty level increases abruptly, and it took me several days to get moving again due to the energy and gold limitations from trying to play as free as possible.

So Many Fun Things to Do!. I’ve played so many of these types of games, one I even compete at a very high level on, and I can say, speaking from a long history of serious experience, that this is one of the best games of its kind out there. It’s simple enough to learn without much confusion (most of it anyway, the glyphs and artifacts can take some a wee minute to get the hang of), and it offers a variety of things to do. Great thing is that I can play as little or as much as I want without any problems of missing out on things or running out of things to do. That’s no easy feat for any kind of game. I’ve been addicted to this one since I started, and, yeah, I spend some money on it, but that’s because I wanted to, not because I needed to; and only because I was impatient. There’s things you can do to prevent you from needing to spend money, so all you need is time and patience and there’s nothing I couldn’t do without spending money. I’d recommend this game for anyone that enjoys multi-faceted adventure games, as this one rises above most, if not all, games of its kind. Soooo much fun waiting for you in it!!!

Really fun game for what it is, but the ads are slightly misleading. So the game you’ve seen in the ads is and is not Hero Wars. Can you play a minigame where you do quick math to fight monsters and save scantily clad women? Yes. Can you play a minigame where you pull pins to get the lava to fall on your enemy and the gold to fall on yourself? Also yes. However, that is not really what Hero Wars is. Hero Wars is a real-time RPG where you have a team of five heroes and you watch them fight enemies while strategically periodically activating their abilities to swing the battle in your favor. There are probably about 30 levels of each of the mini games from the ads, and the rest of the game is upgrading and fighting with your heroes. Personally, I like games like this and I enjoy hero wars a lot. I’m starting to hit the plateau phase of these games where upgrading heroes becomes really difficult, but Hero Wars constantly has events that makes getting rare resources and money to buy resources easier. It’s a well made game, not one of a kind but definitely a better one of its kind. If the Hero Wars team is seeing this, you should add a button to shuffle all owned skins for a character so I can see all the different skins I’ve bought for Hero instead of always having one unless I go in and change it. Not a huge deal but it would be nice.

Well thought out and balanced. 8 hours in, this is my first time playing this kind of game, I think it’s pretty well laid out and balanced. Then the grind kicked in. 2 months in. Still good. Some new content. Starting to get a little grindy 5 months in, the grind is getting too much. 5 months in, grind grind grind. Some cool events though. Grindddd. 7 months in, still hanging on. 10 months in, it gets a little better. Whoa, one year already? Still grinding , new game modes are alright. Is it really a year now , sure, grinding for the perfect 5. A year already? Grinding for end game. What is end game? I dunno anymore. How long has it been? A year now? I lost count, I dunno anymore. Another update: I guess things are better when your guild is good. So ya, join a good guild guys. Another update , I am out of new words to describe. Update#36: what am I grinding for …update #37, ok, so Nextar does try to make the game better/feel different through out the years. Update #38: game still feel alright with new Hero’s etc. #39 : read above. #40: hope more optimization comes along. And more live improvement too. #41: QoL improvement did come along, wish there is more automation. #42 still grinding. #43 really dig the new graphics update. Can’t shake the feeling I am doing the same thing over and over again though; #44 the gui and gfx updates are nice

Fun but Potentially Could Get Expensive. My biggest gripe with this game is that the advertising that drew me in to downloading the app was completely misleading. I was under the impression that there would be puzzle-solving mini-games (as their social media ads portray), but there are none. Regardless, the game is pretty fun but has the potential to become expensive if you have no patience with leveling up and progressing slowly. Almost everything in the game can be bought with or traded with Emeralds, which translates to real-world dollars eventually. Of course you CAN earn “free” Emeralds by achieving certain tasks while playing, but it’s very easy to blow them all in one go doing basic functions in the game. They like to advertise “deals” and “specials” for buying emeralds, but these are hardly ever worth it and I’m almost ashamed to say that I have spent too much money (ANY amount is too much, really) on this game. The developers really should tweak the way characters level up to make it easier and keep players engaged. Also, what happened to the story? There was a storyline about a kingdom in peril with the first few levels but now it’s just grinding through themed areas. BORING!

It’s a scam game, false advertising, prays upon addiction in children... Pay to win, unethical and prays upon mental illness and children. You’d think Apple would know better, because they are extreme liberals and use buzzwords like “equality and inclusivity.” Oh, and they hastily deleted my first comprehensive in depth review about the severity of this NASDAQ scam app. This is a falsely advertised game and they were sued for it so as a justification for not being taken off the App Store they included those fake puzzle games but just for two “chapters.” Thought the game was all about puzzles… apple makes money from this app though, so by that double standard what they’re saying is that this app is ethical and allowed to mislead. Their customer support is a joke and do not refund the accidental purchase of their virtual currency which isn’t even trade-able, you literally can only use it yourself and in the game, it’s not real money.. this company has merged with Russians and they absolutely make nothing but excuses and will not talk directly to you. This game and all those “energy” pay to play more games need to be removed from the App Store. This is not the American way. Americans should only have fully playable games, not these manipulative class warfare games where rich people who can pay for more in game features, get to stomp all over poor people.

100% Classic Pay to Win. Don’t let the easy on-boarding fool you; this game is 100% pay-to-win, especially once you start getting into the guild/arena stuff. To the devs credit, they have created a lot of different game mechanics, but the underlying game design is centered on making you believe that you are getting a “deal” when you spend $15 on a skin that “normally” costs $75 or when you pay 5000 emeralds (their currency, 5k is about $30 irl) to upgrade a character rather than wait. Skins are almost required in the late game as they give your character an added stat bonus. The more skins a character has, the more stat bonuses. What tipped the scale for me was their recent event where, if you completed a bunch of quests in a 3-day span, you could get cool prizes. In the past, a seasoned, diligent player could complete enough quests to get some or all of the top rewards. In this case, one of the top rewards was a skin for my favorite character as well as my top DPS character. However, the only way to complete the quest was to spend 55,000 emeralds, which roughly equates to spending $200 irl. If you want to spend hundreds of dollars on a small high, then this game is for you. Otherwise, you’d be better off spending your money elsewhere.

Addicting and Endless Pay Walls if you plan to win.. Started this game thinking it would be a fun quick game to try with the full intention of not playing more than an hour or so and then I was hooked early on. Now I’ve been playing for over two years and can’t stop because I’m so invested at this point and I’m finding that it is incredibly hard to progress without paying outrageous amounts of cash. And by outrageous I mean people have paid thousands to stay on top. Real games like COD and Halo don’t even cost that much and that gives you a real 3D experience. This is just a 2D phone game with basic animations. I could see $10 for the lifetime of the game and then let peoples hard work and determination govern who is on top but putting everything behind a pay wall is ridiculous. Or better yet have servers for people who pay to win and servers for those who don’t. Personally if I were looking to start playing I wouldn’t. It is fun for a bit when you can progress quickly without paying but by the time you’ve played for a while they have trapped you it’s hard to break away.

No problem until there is a problem. Before your automated message says I’m sorry your not enjoying the game, I am enjoying the game just not how you treat players. The title says it all. Game is fine until there is a problem. Right now the top player on server 772 who I assume has spent the most money on our server had a problem with Nesters beloved TapJoy. While being disputed Nesters has all but disabled the account and we are now going on 15 days. This doesn’t only affect their account but the whole guild as this player can’t participate in guild wars or Global. They say if you’re VIP 10 and above they get to you quickly, but as you can see that just isn’t the case. Some suggestions on how to handle this situation better might be to not allow the player to take advantage of TapJoy offers while the dispute is ongoing. If you want to take it a step further do not allow them to make purchases until it is resolved. Locking most of their account seems extreme considering you are the one taking all the time here. What are you going to do when you finally determine TapJoy was wrong? “Oh sorry, please accept our apology and this 500 emeralds for your inconvenience.” I would understand if you thought the player was cheating and they were not responding to you, however the 15 days is all on your end and TapJoy not responding. Why should players be punished for your inefficiency?

Would give it 5 star if these were fixed.. Great game overall. Just a few minor things that I wish to be fixed. Definitely the tower needs to be fixed because I’ve been playing a solid 6 months, pretty close to everyday and never have I made it to the top of the tower, I honestly don’t even know how many floors of the tower there are, just should start the level one floor with an easy win instead of an 80,000 team power... Also I like being able to have a bunch of heroes that are upgraded and pretty decked out (only way you can even attempt to make it far into the tower) but it’s really hard to do once you get into the violet ranks and like level 60+ because it’s so expensive, it cost like 300k gold to get one piece to equip on your hero and you have to get all 6 before you can promote your hero and each mission gives you only like 1000 gold. So to try and keep up with even 5 heroes (full team) is extremely long. It would be better if it didn’t take as much energy to do one mission and it gave out more gold per mission. Or maybe a gold rush event type deal? Still play it pretty loyally just a few things that I think should be fixed.

Fun. The game is interesting and challenging. The only issue I have is it is constantly crashing. But I love the wars and my guild. Definitely addictive, but fun! I have met awesome people that keep this game entertaining. But wish I didn’t have to spend so much to move up. Global Championship is great so far and Yasmine is my favorite hero. Would love to be able to assign spots in Global Championship. I do like that glitches are fixed pretty efficiently. Although sometimes there’s a lot of problems with the app making proper connections to the internet. Must have strong will to not spend money. Love that we can assign attack spots in all wars. Wish changing servers didn’t cost money. The new game mode they just added is great!!! Just like the mini games that made me download the game to begin with! Love the new discounts and training mode. And the city gate! Need more levels! Hate the new hydra shop so far. I need to be able to buy more artifact coins or at least when I exchange Titan artifacts be able to directly exchange them to artifact coins instead of hydra coins. I spend enough money on emeralds. I will not spend it on this.

Extremely for pay to win players!. Everything here needs money. You can play for free but you will just end up in frustration, and punching bags for those who pay. Drop rate for free to play is also low. They always come up with things for you to pay for. Hard work, grinding, and doing all quests won’t get you far. It will take you 10 years to reach what can be accomplished in a month by those who pay. If you plan to pay just by small amounts, it still won’t work. So for this game, it’s either you go all out or stay away. Skills don’t matter here too. Just put all your money in and max all characters, you will be undefeated. No real need to plan your team synergy and strategy once you pay for everything to max. Guild dungeon is impossible to play to 150 titanites if you aren’t paying. They have also added more way to increase the strength of the Titans by paying more which greatly increases the gap for non-payers. Still a game of pay or don’t play. New things added for Titans which will further increase the gap for heavy spenders and free to play. Truly a hardcore pay to win game with only money generating income in-mind for developers. Honestly, there are a lot games out there where you can spend heavy with more in-depth game story and quests, balanced chances to play with non-spenders, grinding choice for non paying players, skill and analysis dependent games, and a lot more which is entirely dependent on your taste and playing style. I just don’t recommend this game at all.

Grind or pay. The game overall is great pretty basic very much like a lot of games out there has some fun elements great graphics my only concern is once you hit a certain level the grind is ridiculous to get specific items that when you first start you get left and right once you get your characters over that home then those items are so much harder to get for no reason seems to me like it’s all about the grind or pay to get gems to get the stuff you want. Update after 2 weeks of play. At this point the game is almost unplayable without paying money. You find yourself needing items to upgrade heroes that are say blue which means rare but not the most rarest which is purple or orange but I’m pulling purple and orange items during missions consistently but no blues and I find that these blues are the ones you really need to upgrade your heroes and there’s so many of them that you need you’ll need one to create an item that used to create another item that used to create the final item to put on your character just upgrade them and in the end you take close to 1000 action points or whatever they’re called to do this which means it takes a week to get one blue item but during that time frame I’m able to now create 15 purple items which is great to be able to use later but in the end the grind up front was bad the grind after two weeks is impossible if you got money and you want to pay I think the game is great otherwise waste of time

Feature overload. Game is fun enough to start, gives you a few heroes to level up but after awhile you realize the recurring theme is in-app purchases (a lot) to really progress past the first couple upgrades. You start with promotions (items from battle rewards), rarity/stars (which can’t be leveled up very far without in-app purchases), and skills (from gold). After a few levels, the game introduces artifacts (in-app purchases) and then skins (in-app purchases) and then skin investments to increase stats (in-app purchases), then glyph enchantments to increase stats (in-app purchases), then elemental gifts (in-app purchases)…you get the idea. Anyways, you get to lvl30 and join a guild only to find that now you have to also build a team of elemental titans that also gets unlocked and leveled up similar to the original heros (more in-app purchases). It honestly feels like the developers tried to include as many feature enhancements as possible to drive more in-app purchases. Personally I’d give the game a 1 star rating because of the obvious greed explained above but it never claimed to be a F2P game, in fact early on, you get the feeling that it’s going to take real world money to progress so I’m setting on 3 stars.

Enjoyable Game. I’ve been playing Hero Wars for several months, and overall I find it to be an enjoyable game. The graphics are well done and there are a number of different areas in the game. What first attracted me to the app were the mini-games, which are only available with the first several mission areas. After that… no more mini-games. I also quickly got to the point where it became extremely difficult to make forward progress in the game without making in app purchases. As your characters increase in level, it takes more and more stuff ( e.g., gold, artifacts, soul stones, experience points, etc.) to level them up. It would really be nice if the amount of these kinds of things that you can obtain as part of the normal game play also increased proportionally ( I.e., no in-app purchase required, and preferably minimal advertisements to slog through). The developers will probably tell you that you can play the game without in-app purchases, and you can; however, the very slowed progress you will experience will become frustrating.

I’m hooked. I’m hooked. I play constantly—with friends online. Still great. Fun. Guild play is great too. Progress is steady but very slow if you don’t pay large amounts of money. I’m amazed at how much you pay for things that are relatively minor overall after all. One thing costs $160 to get!!! It’s a quick sugar hit but overall advancement remains very slow unless you keep paying more money. I suppose I should be thankful since the game wouldn’t be here at all if wealthy people weren’t paying for steady advancement. Oh yes, the ads. You are forced to watch them to advance in the game (same as many other games so there’s that), so you end up watching hundreds, perhaps thousands over time. At the end of the ads you have to be punished more by clicking on tiny, sometimes hidden links, then a timer runs and you have to click again somewhere else and if your finger is not thin enough and perfectly aimed you have to do this multiple times to get out of the ads. I have no idea why they torture people this way or allow advertisers to do this. The ads themselves involve killing people, sometimes hundreds or more at a time. Play Hero Wars and the ads will show you hundreds of thousands of people being slaughtered over the time you play this game. Just nonstop mass murder. I think all games are like this, however. Okay, after years I’m finally quitting the game. Fun causes huge time investment, I just don’t have time anymore!!! Other things to do!

Hero Wars review. Okay, it’s a gattaca game, if you don’t like those we’ll take a hard pass. Okay so you like gattaca games? Then this one is pretty entertaining. By far the deepest character progression of any of these games I’ve played, layers and layers of things to improve your characters. Quite a few games modes and different characters shine in different roles, a good sign. So with any of these games is it pay to win? So I did very well without paying anything but it is obvious that if I were “competing” with someone money could push one of us ahead easily, so you can have fun free to play but money is going to make moving up way easier. They have a vip system and vip rank 1 is the one that really matters, it gives unlimited instant auto battles, very nice. You can get this by spending $2 so not bad.. I bought a $10 gem pack when they were on a x4 special, this was hugely helpful and I don’t see spending anymore on the game. I don’t see anywhere in the game where a lack of spending will stop me, it will just slow me down but I don’t mind that at all, these games are a fun diversion for me, I don’t need to be a “top ten” player on a mobile game… All in all I say if your a gattaca fan try it out, it plays fast and will have a few features you wish the devs of other gattaca games would take notice of(hey raid their take on a hydra boss isn’t rocket science…).

2 stars because. The game is fun. The minigames you saw in other apps last for three chapters then disappear. It seems like every week something is going amiss, and the dungeonmasters are handing out free (x, y, z) to compensate (which is thanked). My issue is with the campaign getting difficult. I feel like this game (was going to just say campaign) is strategy based, but when you attempt to strategized based off of the enemies shown - and then get into the level and find 4-5 heroes NOT SHOWN, and then get stuck on level 9-6 for two weeks (the example), you begin to get the feeling the dungeonmasters ...are in it for the money given the costs of purchasing heroes way/etc... the tower is also messed up but that's another issue. I'm miffed about all this and still play- but when the dungeonmasters are busy 'livestreaming' character fixes (like artemis) and the games core levels (because it seems the games money making is within guilds/events and such which I CAN RESPECT) are broken- and when they are showing adds from games like Kings Throne which displays NSFW and suggestive content and Hero Wars markets as a 12+ game...makes me want to quit. Monster (not hero) bios and details on what and how they are attacking would be LOVELY- maybe i'm missing that somewhere within the game? 'Hex' creature makes me want to slap the darn candle off its head. Looking forward to some resolve on this. Thank you for your time.

Oddly addicting. I installed this game based on the promo showing the little warrior ascending the tower. Caveat emptor - that little mini game does not exist. The game that you are installing is instead a weirdly addicting ‘rpg like’ game that is more about gaining levels and experience for your cadre of heroes. There isn’t much skill involved. The game seems to be more about colleting the little bonuses and maxing out your daily opportunities (eg 3 hydra fights, 5 arena matches, launching expeditions, etc) than anything. I enjoy the chance to keep incrementally updating my units and watching them grow stronger. There are various events as well that allow you to grow your forces faster. There are at least a dozen forms of in-game currency. You dont have to spend actual money to play but in reaity you’ll want to spend a few bucks at least once to unlock instant raids. I have tried to do some real world activities to earn in game ‘emeralds’ but have never been able to… that feature seems a bit scammish… again caveat emptor. Instead, work your way up the arena so that you can claim more daily emeralds.

Hero Wars. Interesting game. Enjoyed playing. The limitations are frustrating. I’m off and on anymore. While there are some interesting twists and events, the rest of the game isn’t as much fun as it first was. Artwork and graphics are still top notch. I’ve gotten VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY unhappy. I level up characters, but the game makes the levels even harder. It always seems that just when I can play with ease, your game wratches up the boss levels to just beyond my character limits. The tower for example, at one point I would as able to clear all the levels, then suddenly, the levels doubled in difficulty. Now I can’t get much more than halfway, if even. I have quit playing the Tower. Also, I still have an issue with the two arenas. I can’t keep up with the big money spenders (or your beta testers that have the best stuff). There is always a core group that is always ahead of the main game, and us mundane players can’t hope to beat them. I understand you want to make money. But like all of these games, you sacrifice game play for max profit. Sorry. I’m not enjoying some of the game, and it won’t be long before I’ll have to drop it as well. I don’t mind being challenged, but hey! The game should be fun too. I am close to deleting the game. And I have spent a few hundred Dollar$ on this game. With nothing to show for it. I hope you are happy with your creative endeavors. It’ll be all you can have.

NOT FOR CASUAL OR F2P PLAYERS. The game itself is somewhat Ok, but if you don’t pay money, your Heroes and Titans won’t be competitive with other players for long. If you don’t have $100 or more to spend EVERY MONTH you are going to have a very hard time playing this game. This game also takes up A LOT of your time and energy. If you do not want to be dedicated to this game for YEARS, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. Don’t ever become a Guild Master or get roped into being a General, it’s WAY TOO MUCH WORK! Like seriously, it’s a second job that will lead to BURNOUT. It is very possible to play without buying too much as long as you are in a good Guild. If you’re in a Guild with good people this game will be moderately OK, but otherwise, please do not play this game. This game can be extremely repetitive and boring. Every mode in this game is basically the same type of boring battle. I will say, however, that the developers are trying to make the game more interesting. They have been adding unique mini games with different gameplay. These new mini games also look like the previous fake ads which are more fun than the actual gameplay. That said… Save your time and hard earned money and play another, more fun, game.

My Hero Wars Experience. The game is entertaining for an idle game. The management gets a tad silly fairly quickly. You’ll spend money to get anywhere fast. Ads for daily grabs are worthless and a waste of time. A 30 second ad to get 10 energy, which won’t even get you two tries at most campaign levels, is the type of typical tomfoolery of these types of games, and this one is no different. I’ll never understand why, with the monetization that these apps get for these ads, never get you more than a couple pieces of pixel candy. I joined a guild on my server and then discovered that aside from the GM, I was the only active player. I quit that guild to look for a more active one, and none of the guilds had more than two actives. Some of the guild activities benefit from having many mates attempting the event (killing the hydra heads, for example). You are always getting new characters, but beware, you’ll overload yourself with trying to level them all up too useful levels. My biggest complaint is the PvP ranking system. You’ll advance to a certain spot and then never get past it because the “random” opponents that you can choose from will be significantly higher levels/power rankings. I haven’t won an arena battle in weeks because I never see opponents that are even close to me. It’s fun but keep it casual.

Super cute. It tricked me with that match the hero in the tower to the enemy. Whatever. I was looking forward to that kind of garbage game but I was really surprised when it became this game. This is similar to a Disney game. Gist you send your heroes to fight enemies to increases levels. Same as Disney game of name I can’t remember. But both are super cute. I like this game for its graphics and cutie heroes. It’s mostly afk which is also good since I’m lazy. You can buy a lot of upgrades in this game. I’m poor so I can’t but if you have extra money there’s so much cosmetic upgrades to your heroes which are really good looking. Obv the mechanics of the game are simple you can put it on auto and let them fight. Like I said mostly afk. There is a website which oddly enough lets you play on the computer the same version of the game. I signed up for a second account not on purpose but whatever I started again online. There are some differences to the website vs app. You get different heroes to begin with and different events online. Also there’s a skill level up for both app and web but the web gives you 20 while app gives you 10. Im not mad bc the game in and of itself is fun so when one game runs out of energy I play the other. Yeah it’s time consuming but it’s fun for now. I give it 5/5. The game gives lots of freebies to both accounts so it’s engaging and keeps you coming back for more.

Great game. This game is great (though not perfect) it is possible to progress through to the end game without spending money, but it will be at a much slower pace than those that do spend money. (So pretty much pay to win at a faster rate-a large portion of our guild members do not spend money and we are still in the top 3 guilds on our server). The guild wars are set up in a way that emphasizes communication and coordination between members(which is something I like). All of the hero’s have their own feel to them and do not feel bland. I like the titan system, but a few new titans wouldn’t be a bad thing to have a little more choice in viable teams. The one thing here that needs work in my opinion is the chat system. When trying to chat, it is very easy to send incomplete messages and many people do so often. Also there is no private message feature(which in my opinion would be helpful in preparing who you want to use for the guild wars, and for reminding them that they have an attack left. Or for just getting in touch with people in general because messages get lost in the chat system easily. All in all the game is great(and I have no issues with the in app purchases because the company has to make money for the games constant upkeep) but I would appreciate an updated chat system!

I spent 500$. This is not a free to play game. The puzzles are to make you download the game they don’t continue. Gems, gold, artifacts for hero’s and titans, equipment, skills, skins and gift of elements all cost money. All are necessary. (Grey) (green,1) (blue,1,2) (violet, 1,2,3) (gold,1,2,3,4)

Pay to win and the ADS are fake. Great game to start off with. It is extremely well balanced with the way the characters and teams work but like the title says it’s “pay to win” meaning if you don’t spend money this game is going to be extremely difficult to keep up with and if you can’t handle it then people in your server will stomp all over you with their super high level characters and it will be even harder to get anywhere then because you won’t get “guild wars” rewards because no good guild will want you (your too low level due to not spending money) while the ones who do spend money will get into those good guilds and get a massive amount of rewards. Another thing to note like I said in the title “the advertising is fake” not a single ad they show has anything to do with the game. If anyone who works for this company is reading this then I highly suggest changing your ads because when I got the game I almost immediately changed my mind due to the ads and the game not matching (it’s usually a good sign the game is a terrible game and is just trying to deceive people into playing a game they know is bad). With all this said, I will say it again, this game is very enjoyable.

Good game. This game is addictive. There is so much to learn. The Guild portion is team oriented, which I didn’t catch on to for several weeks. You can play without putting any money in which is great. The key to the Guild is having team mates that participate in 4 key areas, Guild War, Hydra, the Dungeon and activity. If they don’t, they need to be released. The chat session could be improved. It would help to have a split window that translates to another language. We have guild mates from multiple countries such as Japan, Italy, Turkey, Spain, USA and France. One window would have the chatters language and the other the language of the user. If someone leaves the Guild, but comes back within two days, their guild info should flow back in, I.e. champion status, guild war lineups. Another needed improvement is showing which champions fought each day. Need more Guild activity reports. However, the game management is money hungry. They just adjusted the pricing higher saying it is for currency exchange adjustments. They create new features and at first offer them for sell. There are multiple advertisements that they are getting paid for already. In summary great game, but pricey.

Stealing Money through broken platform. The App has been broken for iPhone since it’s last update. About 20-30 times a day the app will glitch and force a restart. In the middle of a campaign battle it will force a loss. This loss carries a penalty of 2 energy. I have paid for energy potions and emeralds which both pay for energy. I have reached out to the Hero wars zendesk email help and they have responded with AWFUL customer service. I’ve never dealt with a company before that has basically told me to go F myself over like a $5 reimbursement. It has become a huge issue for me, not because of the money...I have spent hundreds in the game and can simply get Apple to refund my money for their theft. It is an issue because no one should be allowed to handle a customer this way. 1st the techs lied to me saying this wasn’t happening. Then I provide them with proof, oh yeah this is happening, we don’t reimburse this. I don’t care if you normally reimburse something. If your mistake costs me money, you pay for it, not me. They refused to let me speak to a manager, saying uhhh we don’t have a manager....HA! These guys are insane with how they think they can treat people. Mine isn’t the only story like this, but what would you expect from a game that started off of a bait and switch campaign.

Worth every penny. And yes I do spend a bit of coin on the game. Hey, even game programmers need to get paid every now and then, and I have enjoyed this game for quite awhile now. I usually just get Valkyrie favor, as that seems to provide the best bang for the buck. I do sometimes spend on soul stone packages, especially the super titan packs when they come up. Yes, at times it can be a grind, especially when working to create the gear needed to promote your heroes. But even then the game is still enjoyable and I have spent many hours over the last year playing it. I have finally reached the max level of 120, but my hero’s and titans still need more work. They introduce new hero’s into the game from time to time, just to shake things up a bit and keep it interesting. This game carries the Official Grandpa Seal of Approval. Yes I am a grandpa twice over :) And they open up new servers on a regular basis. The last time that I checked, and it has been awhile, there were over 400 active servers. To give you a rough idea, I am playing on server 116, and my brother started playing, but he is on something like server 450 or thereabouts, so you don’t have to worry about trying to compete against players that have been building their hero’s for over a year. So, what are you waiting on? Come on and join the fun.

Addictive game requires $$ to fully appreciate.. Not sure that’s a bad comment or good comment, depends on your financial status. I’ve been playing for about two months. I have about 100$ into the game and am a top 50 player (top 25%) of players on my server. I started a guild and we are second place on our but tour guilds power will be determined by how active your guild of 30 players abre and how much money they are putting in the game. It’s mostly a game where you fight other players in arena or join a guild and fight them for points to buy more stuff for your hero’s. The better hero’s are hard to level up. The longer you play the harder it is to have a decent team of hero’s as everything gets more expensive to level up your hero’s if your not laying out real money to make it easier. They have ways of getting in game cash called emeralds, watching infomercials and buying third party items thru app called Tapjoy. But your still using real money to enjoy the game. To have a party of hero’s fully powered up I’m guessing it’s probably near $1k to get 10 of 50 available hero’s at full power. Download if you have money to spend otherwise pass.

Good game. It’s definitely pay to win but has some great competition and distraction from all the crap in the world Should be able reset skins and artifacts like you can gift of the elements because you do a lot of dumb things before you understand but overall a fun game. Nice game definitely an escape from reality from this crazy world Need to be able to transfer skins and artifacts from one hero to another Need to be able to use gold to buy skin stones Merry Christmas Happy New Year get down get down and pull your panties down all I want to do is get my huh huh into you merry Christmas Need an Andvari skin with a beer mug drinking with knockout smash Need to reset all items on any hero at anytime Max testing for Mobile would be appreciated I Am We Tall Did Vip should include Valkyrie favor Our current vip points should count for these events that make you earn vip points Should be able to trade in vip points for emeralds skin stones artifacts coins fairy dust for titans You are valuable and important to me Let us trade in excess vip points for emeralds, skin stones, artifact coins, etc. I am we talk did Yes good Omg need an emerald sale now please the best 1234 get yourself on the floor

confused to continue playing. Over the last few months I've spent nearly $1000 too be competitive for my guild. Most of which was spent in just the last few days to take advantage of the artifact event. Some how, despite this fact, I am in worse standings after my reward hour battles in arena and grand arena. I blame hero wars completely. There is no way to test teams at the higher level on mobile! How's is this possible? Why is this the reality?! That's a lot of money to just"blow" on a team that I tested using precious emeralds at the lower levels and was good against meta teams, internet teams, all the popular teams! That is soooooo much money I spent that could have been spent on other heros had I known that those teams change at the top. Level differently, play differently! Another dumb feature you guys have where you can't see the leader board and even SEE the teams at the top off your server let alone prepare for them!! Compounding the original problem exponentially! Damnit I'm so mad with you! Where is the compromise here to where you take care of a loyal customer, who, to this point has been a whale spender and big supporter of your game? Give me one good reason why I should stay or I'm taking my money and daily play to Albion or raid legends! Sincerely one disappointed customer Scott

Fun, but could use some tweaks. Overall, the game is good but as with everything in life, there is always room for improvement. Some of those include: 1. The need to spend gold on almost everything compared to the ability to earn in game is off-balanced. You can spend emeralds to get more gold though. 2. If you aren’t going to spend any money on this or watch a million videos, this isn’t the game for you. As with most free games, you’re either paying with money or time to get anywhere, nothing in life is free. 3. The Grand Arena could use some work. Having three teams is great, but without being able to see your competitor’s team, it’s hard to make a good strategy for it. 4. More titans. Just, add more titans to the game. 5. As a note to 4, there needs to be a way to heal the titans like you can heal heroes in the tower. 6. Last note: overall clarity of how guild wars works and maybe a character role indicator on the main character page would be helpful. I go into free games knowing they aren’t free so I take that aspect out of it when leaving reviews for them. For a mobile free game though, there are a lot of different game mechanics and if you aren’t good at one, you’re probably going to find one you are good at. Give it a shot, grind experience, and you’ll have a good time.

Money Pit. Ok so the graphics are good, it is a decent action/adventure game and lots of characters. You are going to get through to level 50 with at least 15 characters accumulated in less than a week. Then suddenly you’ll be lucky if you can promote 1 character within 4-5 days time. Everything starts going at a snails pace with minimal progress unless you start pushing out cash. And I mean the big bucks because whatever you buy will be spent within minutes and it will have only accelerated your advancement by a couple days (but then it slows right back down). And finally the events that look cool but are anything but! Take the current Nightmare Alley for instance how can you be nearly a level 75 but can’t beat the very first battle??? Like tried it and just waste all my entries and I’ll get no rewards because beating level 1 is impossible! Then when you report anything and wait for the tickets to be responded to, you’ll generally just get an oops sorry you’re unhappy with the game please leave feedback on our resolution. Ummmm saying sorry but not actually doing anything is NOT a resolution. Needless to say I spend thousands on certain games that I’ve played for years but I won’t spend that kind of money on games that do the stuff above. Good luck and happy gaming!

Somewhat disappointing. Ads show mini games (puzzles) - even in the ap store. Really is a war game. Progress is easy initially, but the higher you go, you can make very little progress without spending money. The only mini games I’ve seen were the first couple of days. I have no problem spending money on a game I enjoy, but it is disappointing to be forced to spend money to make a decent amount of progress. You need items to level up your heroes. When you need 5-10 of an item (on multiple heroes) and you do 20 quests and only get 1 maybe 2 of the item, that is sort of pathetic. Regarding the grand arena, the only battles offered to you are against players with 10-40k power advantage over you. It is no wonder guilds have so many inactive players. Apparently, folks get tired of it between level 30 and 50. If you don’t care about advancing and are just out to kill time, the game is okay. *EDIT* - after play for nearly 2 years, I have found I enjoy the game. If you have patience on upgrading, you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars. I spend about $10 per month. There are constantly events to help you grow - you just have to grind. Still, a lot of lopsidedness in match ups for arenas and wars.

Not what is advertised, WAY better! come see!. This game is amazing. I absolutely love it. It has kept my attention longer than most mobile games which is a pretty impressive task. Building strategy and working as a team is what makes this game the most fun. It isn’t about just going in and pushing buttons. However, if you plan on starting this game, be prepared to spend some cash. Maybe even A LOT of cash. When I first started playing it was manageable as free to play and there were little ways to try to keep up without breaking the bank. The longer I’ve played I’ve noticed the events changing more and more to force paying to win. It makes players grumpy and changes the whole attitude of the game. People no longer play for fun, they have more invested so it becomes serious. It’s a tragic turn of events. I’ve seen so many good PEOPLE stop playing because things just aren’t fun anymore. I really wish this game would go back to being about fun instead of just making money. I understand devs have to make money to work, but there’s a point where it’s overboard and changes the dynamic of everything.

Good game… some issues with the ads though. Not overly heavy with ads, but if you choose to view them and have your time viewing it counted, the payoff is worth it. The problem is when you do choose to view them, you’re not guaranteed to get the reward for viewing it. I also have noticed that ads will run in the background. There has been a handful of times, where l’ll hear the music for the ad, playing over the sound of the game. It’s not every time. But it’s enough where I stopped going for the daily bonuses all together because of it. I mean, i know it’s only a 30 second ad, but when you compile them and you’re adding 10 minutes of your day just watch advertisements, the reward doesn’t match the effort put in to get. I get the feeling that the company is still collecting the as revenue for all of those attempts that go no where, so nobody’s too bothered to fix it. The Hero and Titan building is an easy enough process and you can absolutely level someone completely without spending a dime. It’ll just take a bit longer. But as your grinding for endgame level characters, the satisfaction of getting there without spending anything, is so much nicer. It’s not a perfect game, but it’s a god time burner until something else comes along.

Devoted Player. When I first joined the game, I just added it to pass some free time. This was probably around three years ago. I paid some money to level up my titans so I could join in on the war. Once I found my guild, they took me in like family and I met some interesting people from all walks of life from around the world. From that point on, I felt a part of a bigger team and strived to remain among the top of the rated players on the server. Later the game was restructured and merged a few servers. This dropped me down from top 20 to over 100, but my dedication to my team and our synergy kept me coming back. Fast forward to now, the game is challenging to win wars. You needs dedicated players on your team. We have some players that don’t pay to play, but it takes strategy. For those who have money to spare, you could spend thousands to be competitive, especially later in the game, but there is still potential to just grind and build the best teams, particularly with Heros. I have spent more than I would like to admit, but the comoderatery of the team I am with has kept me here. Whether paying to play or playing for free, the game still has potential. It is all up to your dedication.

Eats your money. I really love how this game gets everyone spending lots of money. It advertises as free to play and then it uses all sorts of psychological manipulations to get people to spend money. Gambling. Scheduled rewards. Social pressure. Frustration from not being able to win. Some people have spent 10s of thousands of dollars just to make the game fun and competitive. And what is really enjoyable is that even though I tell people this they still continue to spend tons of money. Everyone who doesn’t spend money gets to do nothing during the guild wars because no matter how strong their skills are they cannot win a single battle because their overspending opponents who don’t know anything about the game can easily vanquish them. So bust out your wallet if you really want to enjoy this game because you are going to need a double mortgage. They are always coming out with new content to make you spend more to keep up with everyone else. If you are smart you will stick with subscription based games which are reliant on user contentment and will make adjustments to the game better. You will only find they make adjustments to the game to get you to spend more.

Fun if you’re willing to spend big money. So when I first started the game over a year ago I thought it was great. As I progressed and the game evolved, now it is okay if you don’t want to invest a fortune, but to be able to truly enjoy some aspects of the game will require a substantial financial investment or your team won’t last 10 seconds against a team with a few of the heroes the game has made practically invincible for those willing to invest big money. Most of the high quality teams at the time I write this have a power range of 350k to 400k. The team I battled today had one hero deal 496k in damage 7 seconds into the battle. Sadly, they ruined a once great game.***update- another year or so into the game, have increased my team power, but still extremely overpowered by the teams investing money, but with patience and tenacity the game has become more enjoyable. Joining an active Alliance on helps with building your heroes faster. But the guys spending money know that there are 3 or 4 certain heroes that you can build up and make your team invincible. Would be interesting to see 2 comparable teams battle, or completely boring due to no one really receiving any damage, or having it healed nearly immediately. I’m guessing most end up in a draw, so if you are the team doing the attacking you take a loss, as in the game you either win or lose. The other team doesn’t actually have to beat you, just not allow you to beat them.

Fun, challenging and not complicated. I have enjoyed playing this game and started looking for free to play game. This game could be played without spending much but it would be a very hard to have enough gold end resources to be competitive. You would end up a very high level weak player. There are nice free daily bonuses for energy and great free rewards in the campaign if you check the Facebook page to find out where the bonus is located. I will keep playing and try to keep spending down. The skins are great for a bonus to hero but too expensive in my opinion and for a free player , 5000 skin stone cost for just one skin unlock is way too much! Thank you for the events and for making a great game! I just wanted to update my previous post and drop my review from 5 stars to 3 because I have been billed incorrect amounts for I game purchases 4 different times!!! I am considering dropping it to 1 star... I keep getting automated canned responses that just state the Terms of Service and that the company doesn’t issue refunds. I will take it with my card service provider and Apple to get refund but it’s sad that they don’t take care of their players better.

Good Game, But You’ll Spend Money. The game itself is really cool. Lots of variety, good graphics, and there are (at first) ample opportunities to gather items, emeralds, and coins. I will warn new players though: you can get to Level 40 fairly easily/quickly spending about $20-30, but after that, you will be stuck on Chapter 7 and it will then start becoming much more expensive to level up and progress. If you are looking to continually progress and become competitive without waiting months, expect to spend hundreds of dollars. The blockages occur first with emeralds (mostly) and energy (to a lesser extent) - you need energy to play/raid levels for items to level up characters, and you need emeralds to pay for the key things that allow you to level up your characters more strongly. Emeralds in particular are the main currency here - and as you continue in the game, the number of things that ultimately require emeralds grows quickly. Gold is also required, but is not constrained as much as energy and emeralds. I’ve been having a lovely time with the game overall, but at the moment I know I’m stuck unless I start shelling out more money. I’m not saying it’s bad to pay for things you enjoy, and I don’t think the game is bad for this reason, but I do feel emeralds get to be a bit expensive. I would play this game more voraciously if the cost of emeralds was lowered. As of now, without spending hundreds of dollars, I’m probably going to be logging in and playing more passively.

Great Game. I have been very pleased with the structure of the game and the overall playability. The frequent in-game events keep things fresh and the free daily gifts help you upgrade Heros and Titans. The Hero Wars online community is welcoming, informative and fun. Once you can join a guild, things can be hit or miss depending on your guildmates, but there is always the option to leave and join a new guild. Some reviews make it sound like you need to spend a lot a money to advance, but this is simply not true. Sure it will speed up the process, but it is totally possible to be a F2P player. You will need to play regularly and focus on completing daily tasks, but getting to level 120 didn’t take that long in my opinion. The changes I’ve seen to the game have been for the better thus, and makes me believe that player feedback is taken seriously. I have played for a couple years now and still find plenty to do on a daily basis. Whether you are a F2P or P2P player, the mobile version of this game is great.

Fun but has tons of bugs. This game is a lot of fun to play, but the bugs I have to deal with makes it almost unbearable to play. The game crashes daily (multiple times) usually when I’m doing dungeon. It’s most frustrating when it happens during guild war as you cannot replay an attack. When I first reached out to support they told me I had to delete and reinstall the app to fix the problem. Did that and it never fixed it. I have the same issue on two devices. I even went the nuke route to completely wipe my device and I made sure no data from this game was saved in my backup, yet the problem continued. Now, today the game wont even load on any device and when I sent a request to support on their website I was sent an automated response to submit the request in game. How do you do that when the game won’t load??? For someone who has spent hundreds of dollars on this game this might be the last straw for me. I’m going on 5 hours now with no ability to connect even when I switch my phone from WiFi to cellular and did all basic troubleshooting for resolving such issues. I’m beyond frustrated with the problems. I never had to deal with these persistent issues on other games I’ve played.

Fantastic game!. I do enjoy playing this game! I love collecting the heroes and the many different ways you can level them up! Sometimes the battle system seems a bit unbalanced, especially in the tower battles! They should get progressively harder as you advance up the floors of the tower, but instead they’re just completely random! I might battle a full team of level 50, purple rank heroes on floor 1, and then a team of level 47, blue rank heroes on floor 2! Seems a little backwards! I also think that instead of skipping “floors” based on the number of wins you have, you should be able to skip “battles” based on the number of wins you have! For example... winning 2 battles in the tower should get me to floor 5; skipping the battles on floors 1 and 3, and claiming the prizes on floors 2 and 4! Instead of winning 2 battles only getting me to floor 3! I’ve also noticed that some of the battles in the special events have been severely unbalanced as well! But besides all of that! This is a very enjoyable game! I’ve always enjoyed these grindy kind of games! It makes the leveling up worth the work! 😄

Titans. Need to be able to trade or use potions Have about 1.5 million of them that can’t do anything with. Anything that is used in game for level up or anything else for that Matter needs to be able to trade in for something else. Artifacts as well! Still like the game just needs a few tweaks! Still like the game! But have lots of items still can’t do anything with like some low level artifacts need to be able to trade them not just sell them for very small amounts of gold Also need to be able to exchange artifacts for other stuff Same thing! Stuff cost to much Lots of items can’t be sold traded or turned into something else It would be great if their was some kind of trading or gifting to others in your guild Still like playing! Still need a way to trade or exchange stuff I’m maxed out on and can not use. Still have lots of lower level artifact metal essence and the other that can’t be sold or traded and only one hero to use over 20,000 Just sitting there Still need to be able to trade lower level artifacts in on different things Lower level artifact stuff! Need to be able to sell or trade for other stuff

Review. Overall good game. One issue is with prices to buy stuff. If they were a lot cheaper I would purchase more and be able to play longer which is good for the game but as is I run out of energy, diamonds, and especially gold very quickly each day and have to stop playing. Again really like the game just wish I could play more for long stretches and not have to wait to get gold. Wish as you leveled up that you could get bigger prizes like more gold, ruins, skin stones, etc. seems a lot of days now I don’t do much. The glitches have been fixed so thank you but I have never received anything for all the issues I dealt with over those several months. Can something please be done. The new titan artifacts are ridiculous. How can there be people with max teams all ready, you really screwed the pooch on this one. I will never spend another dime on this game unless this is fixed. Artifacts should be burned not white little small events would be OK but you shouldn’t have to spend several thousand dollars to match or titans. I would rather buy a house with my money. Other then screwing up the game with Titan artifacts you also made them cost way to much gold. You really need to lower price to upgrade or make it easier to farm gold. It’s getting crazy and you will keep losing players.

General. IWhile the game gets easier, It seems your left with very little to do, other than competition in arenas. Still takes way too long to get energy to play longer. Even the FREE ENERGY given during time frames isn’t enough. It doesn’t seem great, it’s way too little, and it isn’t even enough to play without a cost. I spent more money of dollars on it as well as emeralds and still it wasn’t enough to get all my hero’s to the top level fast enough. So all- n -all the cost is still way too high! Although there have been changes. There should be more giveaways! Especially for the ones like myself that spent paychecks on this game. The whole 4x emerald deal is a joke! ( due to the Violations on privacy!!! ) and still not enough given even still! There have been some changes since my last response on the cost, with some reasonable things changed, but still not enough! My hero’s aren’t as high as I believe they should be at this point. The amount of money I’ve spent so far, should be offset since I’ve spent over or dam near 10,000 dollars by now!

Hero wars is the best app based game I have ever played. I have been playing this game for several years now there are several things that are phenomenal about this game for starters you can literally play for years without sinking a dime into the game and have very phenomenal characters very strong defending titans attack in titans which is another key point of the game that is is great the fact that there are two totally different areas with two very different types of gameplay there’s events that happen if you do have a little bit of money to sink into the Game you can progress a lot faster but it’s not necessary over the years I’ve put a little bit in but during large gaps of time where I don’t it’s still loads of fun and you can play throughout the day most games there are limiters put on where you’re no longer able to play unless you sync money in and it will literally take playing for like an hour or more before it hits that point every day and this game gives you excellent exercise in patience as well there is no instant gratification and while you can play literally all day it is set up in such a way that like you kind of almost have to walk away for a little bit and then pick it back up in order to continue doing some of the stuff which is good because it makes you take a break but I’m rambling a little bit here all in all try this game give it a shot I guarantee you will love it

Fun and addictive. - Great game to play a little everyday. - Need to make a small purchase to make the speed of levelling up hero’s bearable. - Lots of tasks to do, community and storyline so you can never get bored. I love playing the game aiming to develop the best hero team. To speed up your progress, I highly recommend purchasing something in-game. However if you have amazing patience, you can still make the same progress in the game while not paying a penny which is good. It would be even more awesome of a game if drop chances for items to level up hero’s was more frequent, especially for those above level 50/60. Also, getting soul stones for hero’s is a slow process unless you have lots of gems during a special event. I guess all these slow processes are good for making the game last a long time and/or persuading people to make in-game purchases, however without making things happen more frequently people can get frustrated with the lack of improvement and hence stop playing the game. Overall, the game provides fantastic, long-lasting entertainment. I would definitely recommend playing the game and seeing how far you can get without having to pay anything or commit yourself to the game. Oh and also, the mini-games they promote advertisements aren’t actually in the game at all, only on social media pages.

Great but need some improvements. I have spent more than 1 weeks to play and feel really addicted. The content is great. However, I suggest that the resources in game like energy, gold and emeralds could change a bit to increase players’ interactions. For instance, we could have some relics that can boost the time that refill the energy ( eg from 6 mins to 3 mins depending on the level of the relics) which can be upgraded by arena coins or whatever coins. Also, it could have other relic that generates the emerald slowly like 1 emerald every 6 or 8 hours. And the gold, of course, please increase the amount of gold for each campaign. It’s like nothing compare to the amount players spend on heroes and other stuff. You should balance from earning money for company and game’s interactions. Don’t force people to use emerald on too many stuffs. There are many games that don’t force users to pay much in games and still succeed such as Summoners War etc. Cheers. Hope to see some updates soon.

Great game!. Nice game, it is def a pay to win game since everyone is doing it or just the day 1 players have gotten too strong to reach but aside from that it is a pretty cool game love the overall game play it offers to keep the user looking for things to do also the strategic approach needed to win guild wars but I gotta say the most important thing about this game is “team work” inactive guild members (freeloader) and not meeting daily targets to achieve better rewards meaning if no progress your def choosing the slowest way up. Find a good guild that suits you, build some good chem with the players and help out with the daily tasks to become number #1 Thanks for the free skin! Lol :P

Good game but.... The game is pretty entertaining and has some cool gameplay styles to keep me playing for a while but it gets very pay to progress which is the major downfall with this game, towards some of the higher levels 50+ you don’t earn anywhere near enough gold to upgrade anything prompting you to either buy gems to be able to purchase gold or wait till the next day so you can start to progress the only negatives with this game is the total energy limit making it hard to get the items I need to upgrade and how expensive upgrading becomes for how little you earn, I get that since there’s no ads it’s how they earn money but maybe a little balancing so they can still earn money but make it playable for those who don’t wish to spend

Addictive Gaming!. Battle it out within the game, and against other players to upgrade your favourite characters and build your team to become a force to be reckoned with. Join a Guild and join forces to beat other Guilds. Easy to understand gameplay along with stylish graphics make this game really addictive. I'm hooked!

Great!...BUT. Great game you get what you get it’s basically as advertised which is amazing honestly BUT after a certain level leveling up becomes a nightmare and most things like the main campaign fall the way side and tasks that done do much are now requested to even get enough coins to be able to progress the game, gems get harder to find and obtain and it becomes a “do I wait for TOMORROW or do I pay to get some resources” sort of game so on that side it’s not good I don’t want to play a game where I have to pay to progress. I’ve been doing pretty fine with only having to make 2-3 purchases to even get a perk or doing a raid which I though was a bit bogus but it’s a fun game. If you have the money you’ll do amazing. If you don’t then haha good luck! I’d like if the game gave you more perks or something so you’re not trapped into buying anything but who am I kidding that’ll never happen

Dishonest and misrepresented. The game advertised as a puzzle but in reality, there are just two puzzles at the beginning and then it is absolutely nothing like the ads. The game requires large purchases to progress quickly. Okay if you are patient and only have 5 minutes to spare each day but frustrating if you want to immerse yourself. They also give you a chance to earn in game currency by completing surveys (which all ask way too much personal information) but the reward offered by completing the survey comes through as a much lower figure in game (if at all)!

NERF GINGER!. I’d just like to start by saying it’s a really fun and addictive game. But the problem is when I play arena I have over 28,000 power and I go up against someone with 24,000 and my team is fully level 38’s and their team has a mix of level 20’s and 30’ and one level 40. Tell me how I lost and the final result for their team was that they still had ALL 5 of their heroes ALIVE! And the hero that did all the killing was Ginger using ONLY HER special attack! Again, I love this game but please nerf Ginger’s special attack.

Good game. The graphics and animation is great but the game set up is not , you can’t play daily without spending cash so if you not a serious gamer with a deep wallet the games not for you Chat in game is very limited and old you can not talk to your peers in private thus the guild leader cannot say in private to his/her selected leaders, The game is very poor quality for free to play if you were to do this you wouldn’t be able to play more than once a month the games expense is ok but they the make it very hard to obtain the goods to play without paying There is no in help game feature you have to leave the game to find out info of what things are and how they need to be done So if you don’t mind paying the game is great if you don’t have deep pockets the game is not for you .

Enjoyable and fun. I constantly saw this game through ads on another game and thought I’d give it a go. I was hoping it would be predominantly the puzzled that you see in the ads, but it’s not. It is however enjoyable and it isn’t littered with ads, which is great. The concept is simple and the gameplay is fun. Everything can be earned with time/luck from what I can see at the moment but of course, cash will speed things up.

Solid game. A fun game, easy to get the hang of, good community battles; would have been nice to have a section for the puzzles they promote in the ads, you actually only get like 2 which doesn’t form part of the game. It’s a grind above level 50 if you don’t want to pay, but the deals are reasonable compared to games like Last Shelter and if you’re patient enough you can do it with the in-game daily allowances over time.

Keeps me coming back every day.. Started because of the puzzles, which quickly fizzled out. But the slow progress of building characters keeps me interested. Many of the same battles become boring. Keeps getting better. Buy Celeste early, a great hero, and you get instant raids forever which really speeds things up. Get in a good guild as soon as you can. Initially takes a long time to do all the daily tasks, but eventually you get raids for nearly everything. You need a lot of patience. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Get advice from guild mates about best use of rare, precious resources. Enjoy, it’s addictive.

Frustrating. There are many pay gated elements. This in itself isn’t the problem, company has to make money to pay staff and continue development however having raids being locked behind paying is super frustrating. Id honestly be fine with watching an add for 10 minutes of free raids if nothing else and I’m sure others who would also can’t afford to pay money would also agree watching an add would be fine so the company still makes some sort of profit

Long game but really fun. I really love this game. It’s a massive time sink but worth it. I’ve been playing for over a month and slowly getting through it as you start to build up your team to take on the campaign, other players, the tower or the dungeon. There is a limit to how much you can do each day and paying money will speed things up buts it’s definite achievable for free. Would recommend, pretty fun

Cutting out a lot. While I do enjoy the game I can’t play it for periods of time longer then five minutes and I know that it is not my phone and at this moment I can’t purchase things if it keeps happening I am getting be more and more frustrated at this game because I can’t do many challenges or anything like that because before I complete even half of anything it cuts out and the videos for the tickets only work 50% to 75% of the time which also very annoying

Interesting game but hard to progress without paying. This is an interesting combat and strategy game with a lot of layers and complexities. There are so many things to keep track of, but you get used to it. The only drawback is that in order to progress through the game as you become more involved, you need to start paying for items. You can still progress without payment, but very slowly after adventure section 7

Interesting game with many avenues to keep you busy.. Not a cash player and can see this becoming an issue as you progress through the levels as this game like many are structured for cash returns as you progress through the ranks. Still enjoying the game at this stage however can see slow down of progress as you move up the ranks. Still will continue to play for the interim and see if the enjoyment lasts.

Cool! Maybe a couple of fix’s up. Hey so I downloaded the game about a week ago and it’s pretty cool, I’ve seen a lot of adds for it and the adds describe it very well. Now I think the game is very new she graphics aren’t the best and you don’t really do much stuff when they are fighting which is kinda boring, but when you unlock new hero’s their design are really cool and you can see so much details in them! I just have one idea for the hero maybe make a background for them? It would be really cool have a story to go through understand the characters a little more. Anyway really cool game.

Web based is better. I really enjoy the app version but it has way less content unlike its counter part on the web. I know the web based version exists longer than the mobile but it should not be to hard for the developers to copy from the web based version and implement into the mobile. Yeah it is payed to win … the faster you want to progress the more $$$ you need to spent … but this is all up to the individual and how they want to progress. If you can’t spend the money simply don’t play … or just grind for years but don’t complain. I give this game 4 stars only because it can be way better like it’s big brother. Ah and one more thing. Can we get on mobile better daily rewards and more energy rewards. Mobile does not gives you little to none energy for leveling up.

Misleading, boring nonsense. I downloaded this because I thought it involved the styles of game and puzzles in the Hero Wars pop up ads in other games, but these end after the first couple of campaign levels. Thereafter it’s just endless days of tiny incremental upgrades to a whole bunch of silly make-believe and poorly integrated power ups and character levels, all of which progress at mind-numingly slow rates unless you’re prepared to stump up serious amounts of cash! So, I came, I saw, I did not like and I deleted (thankfully without spending a cent)

Standard grind or pay game. This is a standard monotonous grind game requiring energy to play, that replenishes painfully slowly over time. You can of course buy the items you need instead of grinding slowly towards getting them. It wouldn’t be so bad if there was actually something useful to do while waiting for the energy to come back. The graphics are also mediocre, probably would have been considered good 15 years ago, but these days are barely acceptable. Any of the games that artificially slow the player down by making them wait to be able to continue the gameplay are pretty lame. Let people play rather than making them wait, look for another game to play while waiting, and then not bothering to come back. There are lots of games out there that can be played for many hours at a time each day rather than waiting on energy to come back.

Good fun with an alliance. I play this game daily because I am in a friendly alliance that is active. This keeps the game interesting and interactive. Combat and development is cool. However, the reason for todays review is to point out that they offer free in game currency (Emeralds) for doing surveys. THIS IS A SCAM. The surveys try to collect a lot of personal details. I did a few surveys and offered good feedback and I still have not received any Emeralds. I was happy to pay a small monthly fee to get extra but now I’m debating my decision after wasting an hour on invasive surveys.

Was Apprehensive Before Trying.. Now HOOKED!. I know, I was late to the game… I did definitely have my reservations about Hero Wars because of all the typical FB ads but I took a little leap of faith and decided to try it. I have NOT been disappointed. Yes, there are aspects you can (voluntarily) pay to speed up the process but if your on the patient side, then I’m sure it can be achieved also. I am of the mind that if you enjoy a game, support the developers by making purchases. So long as they’re well within reason of your financial situation. The only 1 gripe I have with the game, is that it makes it difficult to play using the same account over different devices.. I haven’t figured it out quite yet, or if it can even be done.. But keep that in mind, if you start on one device make it the one you want to play on. 9/10 for enjoyment factor Awesome app game Happy (only lvl 67 so far) customer. Keep up the good work devs!

Frustrating. Good graphics and game play but to progress you either need to pay money OR watch video adds - the problem with this is that the video adds fail to play on a regular basis. Rewards are given for each video watched but when the videos fail you can not access these rewards. There is not an easy way to report when these videos fail and this is frustrating. I would recommend playing the game as a temporary activity until they fix the problem with the video adds.

Mr. The game is endless which is starting to make it a bit of a grind and frustrating. Same things over and over. Will probably stop soon. Still have not stopped but. Third time I’ve added a review and I’m still playing? Fourth review now and the game is still frustrating but yes I still enjoy it. Fifth review still playing but in tournaments now and have spent some money to get ahead. Sixth review have now found a good guild and am enjoying the game better.

Great game but I fear the long term $$. This game has beautiful graphics and somewhat interesting gameplay. The downside is that the game does encourage prolific spending. There is very little in terms of recommendations or strategy building and experience and memory play a huge part in discovery of what are great characters to level-up. It does become frustrating when you have built up a character only to find them to be average at best, but I guess that is where the reward of playing pays off.

I love it. I love this game There’s not much to it I just play this pretty much every day, it is it’s just one of the best mobile battle games that I could possibly come across it’s so good I don’t think there’s another game they could match this it’s just 5 out of 5 star rating I definitely think you should download this game I would like to know how long it took the creators of the game that long it took them to make it because it was a bit a lot of time it is one of the best games ever

Good fun. This game is pretty good because there are quite a few different things to do so you are not just stuck doing only the campaign. I find myself able to spend an hour or two each day playing without getting bored. There are lots of different characters to make your own unique team.

Hero Wars. Hero Wars is an enjoyable game. You acquire heroes, raid dungeons and duel other players. It has a lot of material to keep anyone who enjoys Fantasy RPG’s entertained for hours. However, It is heavily controlled by people who pay to win. To progress faster and unlock the heroes / equipment you desire you must be willing to pay the $$$. They bombard you with special events and gifts enticing you to purchase more and more in order to continue your quest to be the best. All in all it’s a good game, just don’t expect it to be a game where you can climb up the ladder with only time.

Great game no money needed. I have been playing this game and enjoy it so far I have not needed to spend a cent. If you play all of the game the way it is meant to be then you are able to level up quite quickly. If you are a gemmer then you have that option and I assume that it’s quicker. I personally am happy with my progress and the speed of leveling up without spending money. Great game Thank you

Great “little” game!. I started playing as a way to fill 5 minutes here and there. And it’s now gotten to the point where I’ll spend half hour or so over a coffee chasing my feats in hero’s way or making sure I’ve done everything I can for the day. Really enjoyable and I get sense of Accomplishment when I hit my goals for a hero or for my team.

Fun game to pass time. Good concept and easy to break into short stints with many areas to keep game interesting. If you are not patient you would need to invest in gems to keep progressing and upgrading quickly over lever 55. Daily rewards really help if you are happy to log in each day and video for rewards and tickets are great to keep building without paying. It is good that there are so many skill trees for hero’s that you can easily change gameplay by swapping hero’s and really try matching best skills. Arenas and towers are fun and short to play adding to the quick format or you can do everything and kill hours.

U need a lot of cash to play this game. Don’t get me wrong it is a fun game and I really enjoy it however you are only greatly rewarded if u can spend the cash. When u start it’s a real whirlwind and it seems u can go up the ranks really quick, alas this comes to an abrupt end. Unlike other games u don’t gain energy over time u must login at certain times which is the downside and makes it hard to play the quests. You also run out of in game currency really quick so again u need to pay with the bought crystals u keep having to buy. It also has a vip for how much u spend on it, compared to the money u have to spend it’s really little reward. Put all this aside and its a pretty cool game to play

Impressive but boringly basic. The visuals are relatively stock standard the designs are also pretty basic ,it’s all alright but not too stunning, the villain designs are far more engaging then the hero’s which the default hero is as generic as they come. All of this would still make the game a 4 star game but sadly the gameplay is the really boring part of the game l. Combat is handle for you which means the combat allows for no tactics or real gameplay other then pay money level up hero’s and continue. The puzzles are the single redeeming aspect of the game and should be the game in it’s entirety as the fighting and combat are serviceable at best and mind numbing at worst.

Got sucked in by the bait and switch, but Pretty fun. So all the adverts that present a merge style puzzle game are very misleading after the first 3 levels of the quests, there was no more puzzles. But the team building, hero collecting, tower ascent and myriad of different daily activities are pretty fun. The titans seem a little redundant but sure I’ll play that too

Great game, but Tower unfair. I really enjoy playing this daily. But, if for 1 day you forget to play tower, you drop down to level 1, fine. PLEASE make the tower fair by seeding the levels to individual player’s team abilities. I currently have 46 warriors, all at around lvl 60, all at pink promotion, 3-6stars, yet I could not get past the first floor!!! RIDICULOUS!! My opponents at first floor were all 70+, pink 3-4 stars and defeated all of my 9 teams meaning I couldn’t progress for the day - this is by far the most unrealistic and unfair part of this game 😡😡🤬

Very addictive game. Love the game. Only been playing several months, and while I don’t consider myself a pay to win player, I have spent a bit of cash just to feel competitive. Wish there were more campaigns tho, coz I’ve finished that part of the game and now it seems only aspect is fighting other people in guild wars or arena battles, and when you keep coming up against the ‘supers’, those who are mega strong, it gets frustrating. Especially if you don’t want to keep shelling out cash. But, still loving the game, and camaraderie amongst my guild members, those that chat anyway, is great. I’ll keep plugging away at levelling up my teams, hopefully I’ll reach ‘super’ stage at some point. Until then, great game. Loving it.

My review. Hi the game is fantastic very enjoyable team is good too the cost of gems is way to high and sometimes out of my reach not that financial lol I’ve tried free gems but most of the time not suited to their survey out of luck all round the game keeps dropping out and you don’t seem to be doing much to fix it the titan upgrade was good can you make it a little little cheaper the reason so many people drop out is they can’t afford to keep paying your high prices costs are way too HIGH not impressed with the last upgrade took to long to fix your problem not enough compensation for your outages Maybe we can start calling this game war bugs hero lol your doing good it would be nice if I could afford to buy more stuff thanks just wish I could afford more to be up there with the other players still getting way to many bugs

Best game of this genre. It’s not pay to win, u can pay to get certain hero’s faster than free to play players, but ultimately, if you’re not learning the characters and managing ur resources properly, you’ll just waste money and hate this game. Take your time, u literally get stronger every day. I’m top 100 on my server and I love the community!

Enjoyable, but you have to pay to compete. The game is fun to play, engaging, lots of different things to do. It doesn't update chat and mail very well, you have to restart a lot for it to update certain things. It is also very much play to win. If you wish to compete you will need to pay a significant amount of money, and to be on top you are looking at a thousands of dollars regularly to be competitive. You can play casually though, which can be fun.

Give it a shot. Absolutely love this game, you have to give it a shot. Play through the tutorial and check out the huge variety of gameplays that are available. This game keeps me entertained for hours. One recommendation is to fix up your advertisement. The game your advertising here is hardly any of what hero wars is about and frankly it’s probably why not many people are playing. Overall keep it up

Enjoyable. I’m enjoying the game. Because I won’t spend $$ on it, it’s taking a very long time to build powerful characters. I recommend concentrating on 1 favourite at a time. You can’t begrudge the developers for offering special concessions to in app purchasers, but it would be nice if there was a “wild card” once in a while for tight people like myself. I’m still playing the game after many months. It’s still fun.

Victory. I little girl walking around she sees a stone she wants to touch it but it starts to glow but she touches it and gets knocked out by a guy behind she wakes up in a cabin The guy told her you should not touch the stone now you have the strongest powers in the world you now have the powers to take victory over the villains she had blonde hair and gold and blue metal close she had Blue eyes she was beautiful and as a crown she had a blue diamond in the metal golden blue crown she had all different coloured powers she had Alfie is but her powerful list powers were purple and two years later she had victory she was crowned the queen of victory. THE END

Great Graphics and Gameplay HOWEVER. Its really a great little time waster game and got really addicted at the start, but soon realized that it would need more money if you want to get anywhere with it. Already spend over $90 and only at VIP level 7. The game does not allow to progress without putting in some real money. There is no way to harvest energy or cash that does not take more than a day. As i said i have already put more in than i should have, but I refuse to put in more and my interest is waning due to the time it takes to farm for Gold and Energy to be able to upgrade anything. If you not willing to put in some huge $, don’t bother.

Hero Wars. Great game. Not exactly pay to win. But the option is there but definitely not necessary to enjoy or beat the game. I do recommend purchasing something that gives you unlimited raids because it saves so much time. I don’t usually play mobile games and definitely not of this genre but I’m hooked. Can be a little clunky and slow at sometimes but still worth the time.

Very frustrating if you are not rich. Have given this only 3 stars as even though I really enjoy this game and the variety of games you can play, it very soon becomes apparent that after about level 48-50 you have to pay money if you want to progress at all. By that stage the developers probably hope you are addicted enough to cough up. I did pay small amounts but soon found that even with that investment progress was virtually impossible. You need energy and coins to progress and because items need more and more energy to collect you use your free energy up in no time flat. And even if you do collect the items, it costs increasing amounts of coins to pay to level up. The campaigns quickly ramp up to a level where you need ridiculously high level heroes to beat the opponents so you can’t earn any money like that. It just becomes impossible to move ahead without paying a lot and this has left me seriously considering deleting the whole app in despair and frustration. I can understand that developers need an income but this amount is a disincentive. Please try to make this playable for those of us who only have modest access to funds....

Some crashes. Really enjoying the game so far. But been having a few problems with freezing every now and then. Eg: one freeze was I got, was I lvl’d at the end of the fight, so it froze the game and couldn’t progress without refreshing the game. If this gets fixed, I’ll be more than happy to change my review to a five star. *Updating my review. Game issues have been fixed and I have changed my review to reflect this, by giving the game 5*

Fun to play. Fun to play and build up your hero’s. Not for the impatient player unless you want to spend real money though, takes time to build your hero’s levels up. Lots to do, don’t sit around waiting for things to refill so I can do something like other games. Very easy to waste diamonds by hitting the wrong button as there’s no confirmation before spending and diamonds are hard to build up unless you spend real money

Money Sucking. The game divided into too many limited resources for players in order to play ( energy, soul stones, battle availability, valor, seasonal pass… etc). The purpose of this is trying to narrow the accessibility and the progression of players playing the game without paying with real money here and there. Should have kept it simple with just coins and emeralds or at least less restricted playing flexibility. The game is literally the definition of pay to win, with skills base for players to develop is next to zero. It’s quite a shame because the game’s concepts is not bad and very enjoyable to play on your downtime or when you’re commuting on public transport, lunch break. But its hard to keep the excitement going with the slow progress causing by the finite resources. If you’re an F2P, it will take you months to years to actually unlock all the funs that the devs are trying to provide.

Not the game in the ad, it’s better!!!. Best idle RPG I’ve played on iOS in years. Regular events and updates keep the game fresh and fun. Can be played completely free, or watch 5-30 second ads for extra rewards. Keen players can buy small to large rewards and character upgrades to speed up their progress, but you can still do really well with good tactics while playing for free. AAA+++

Complete different gameplay. For those who was attracted by the ads, don’t download it. It is true that they have similar puzzles, but those are just PARTIAL and require you to complete very boring battles in a complete different mode, then you basically have to unlock heroes, level up them, and clear up dungeons. This definitely out of my expectations but I see no point asserting that they’re scam because it’s true you do get little gameplay like what in the ads.

P2W game. Garbage P2W game where even if you spend on the highest package in the game, the day after they offer everyone 4x the gems for the same package you just bought. They won’t refund you a thing and apple won’t help. Negative 10 stars.

Cash Grab. Please do not download this game. People have to spend over $50,000usd to get anywhere near the top

Fun game but have been increasingly expensive. I have played for over a year and enjoy the game and friendships. I started as a F2P (free to play) and then eventually dipped into P2P (pay to play) to accelerate the process. It seems game mechanics have driven people to P2P and the prices have definitely increased. I would not mind but we are dealing with digital assets and not real items that would warrant pricing increases.

Nice. Good game. Fast and auto fighting

False advertisement. This game is continuously falsely advertising the game as the levels that are showcased in the AppStore are either playable at a very high level or very limited in number. Don’t download this application.

STOP FALSE ADVERTISING YOUR GAME!. The game itself is good, but not like you’ll see in any Ads. so if you’re here because of an ad, give the game a shot but you’ll be disappointed that it’s not as good as the Ad makes it out to be.

Puzzles in ads are 0.00005% of the game. If you are installing the game because of puzzles you saw in ads, don’t waste your time. I’ve played for hours and puzzles showed up 5 times max

Wasn’t anything like the ads on social media. It’s wasn’t anything like the ads on social media and the story line was about rescuing a damsel in distress which is so old and traditional. Girls and Women do not need men to save them. I was not a fan.

Terrible. Such a pointless game. Nothing like the ad for it. Should have read the reviews. The upsetting thing is they reply to each review over and over about the same thing: the game isn’t fun and the marketing is just a way to get you to download it. Sucks I fell for it.

Theif. They take all your data and send it to third party websites

Good. Giod fame

Misogyny Ads, sexualized women. Fix your ads, it’s disturbing when I’m playing other games and had to watch one like this.

Click bait. In the ads for this game (Ads within other games) it shows completely different game play that is not even found IN THE GAME once I downloaded it!?! It shows it as some puzzle game when all it is really is and auto pilot RPG. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! How is this even allowed?

Vraiment mauvais.... Très décevant comme jeu

Terrible support. They have this wonderful portal that tempts you to make accounts with other games an play things like PokerStars or DraftKings for a in game kickback. After putting your hard earned money into these false promises the support team will send you a heartfelt apology that they cannot validate what you have done at your loss. Thank you for making my experience joyful.

False Advertising. The puzzle game you see in the ADs only occurs after so many levels and is not the main aspect of this game, very disappointing.

Not what I expected. I really wanted to play the game in the ad. That was just clickbait

Misleading ads. Game is nothing like the ads. Hardly any puzzles - especially at higher levels. Random rewards are horribly stacked against you. Combat system is very uninvolving. And the cost to upgrade is frustrating- especially considering the NPCs can frequently decimate your party despite being several levels lower. Overall, not a rewarding or fun experience. Better off playing Genshin or Honkai.

The worst. The AdRoll different thing on the gameplay when I put the game I thought it was gonna be a puzzle game but in reality isn’t an action RPG, which is really boring not a good game. Do not recommend do not download.

Puzzles. Hi-where can I find the towers as shown in the promo! I’ve downloaded the game, but would like the one shown in the promo video

False advertising. People be aware... This game is advertised as a puzzle game all over the social media platforms and it is not. The developer introduced the puzzle mechanic that you can play once or twice only and that’s all. The problem, there is no legislation that force mobile game developers to advertise their game on what they are really and these kind of developers will use any shady tactics to attract new players who will spend their precious money for in games transactions.

Bait and switch. Watch the ad and thought I would give it a try, totally not the puzzle game show. The game pretty much plays itself and you just touch the screen occasionally. Not fun and not involving.

Ads are misleading, this is not a puzzle game. Only downloaded because the ad said it was a merge units puzzle game. Straight up lie. So annoyed I'm going to find out who to report this false advertising to.

Ad are misleading. If you are looking for the interesting games from the ads.... not here! Just click bait

Fun game, deceptive ads. The game itself is not bad, but unfortunately the ads do not accurately depict the actual gameplay. The developer response to this is "Hello! In our ads we aim to capture the spirit of our game in a flashy and concise manner. We are thrilled to see you were engaged by it! Hope you'll stick around to see if our game is worth your attention." ... missing the point.

Another false advertisement. Always the same, you see a video of a game that look interesting, after trying the game it’s completely different and boring. Those game deserve nothing more than 1 star for false advertisement

Not what is advertised. No puzzles like the adds. If any you will maybe get one eventually…

Bugs need fixing. Hey I really enjoy this game but it won’t let me play the game unless I have wifi. It opens and works but says no connectivity in the middle of the screen then will kick me out of the game saying I need to move around and find an internet connection... I have LTE.. makes no sense If they fix it. It’s a fun game tho.... shame tho..

2024 update….. Don’t think they changed much. Game play still isn’t as they advertised. Being playing for 2 weeks now and still no site of the puzzles they advertised. Game is fun. But gets pretty grindy.

Bad don’t download this false advertising. It shows it has a puzzle game in the ads but it’s really just a garbage RPG.

Makes you share info to 3rd parties.. Game automatically sneaks in a non optional check on “i agree to share my info with 3rd parties” for a split second when you click agree to their terms and conditions, instant delete. This game also does not follow its portrayal in the ads and is extremely disappointing and all in all a waste of a download.

Dumbest game ever. What a waste of time

DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS!!. Would give ZERO stars if I could. Game looks nothing like the ad (surprise, surprise from this developer). Still upsetting that Apple allows this to continue. Developer response is a canned cut and paste. Don’t bother downloading this!

Expensive but fun. Fun game but you don’t get much for you $$$

Miss leading and should be fined. Unlawful misrepresentation of a product. You guys are crooks. I only downloaded the game to give it a poor review.

Click bait. The makers of mobile games are some of the least ethical people on the planet. The ad is not what you get obviously and this is just another scam gotcha game.

Trash. This game is complete garbage, the developers are just looking to get your money, way to many bugs and fixes, some players get crazy deals in a day that would normally take more then a year to accomplish for others, drop rates are ridiculous, by far the most unfair and trashy pay to play game I’ve ever seen!!!

Bad game. The adds you see are lies and the games is bad with or without adds

Deceiving Ad. if everyone one likes the ad more than the game why you don’t make the real game in the ad. The worst experience ever

Mal ll. Don't like the ad

The ad on YouTube. Your ad on YouTube make me embarrass when it pop up all the sudden in public. Why you need to add so many sexual scenes on the ad????

Why are the heroes so ugly?. K’arth is so ugly.

awesome. the ads are pretty misleading, but ive had a lot of fun playing this game, there are always events and theyre really good with providing you with gems and coins and resourcesin general. overall, its a great game, i just wish the ads they put out werent as misleading as they are.

A scam. This game is unlike its ads. In game you have no fun but daily grind. Lastly those free emeralds videos or surveys are bigger scam than this game’s adds

Don’t be fooled. Bait and switch app!!. The social media videos shows all these awesome side games you can play on this app. But don’t be fooled! The side games are only available on the early levels. After level 4, the side games stop and you are left with a side-scrolling turn based adventure game which prompts for money every opportunity. If you are looking for a puzzle game, this isn’t it.

Fun way to pass the time. Great game to kill time

It’s alright. I’m very disappointed that the fun looking puzzle game you see on social media is not actually a part of the game!

Clickbait - Stay Away!!!. False advertising - not what u saw on the advertisement.

Pointless. No a lot of point in even clicking on a star rating here, the action of this game is all in hitting “ok” at the end of each sequence, no skill, thought or coordination required, a dead gerbil could play this. If your looking for mindless with action music then download this.

Hero Wars is very p2w but still fun f2p. This game is a race to building up your heroes and titans as fast as possible. The players that buy emeralds and other bundles will get there faster and there are constant pay to win opportunities every week. Unfortunately Nexter (the company that develops hero wars) is using those events to make players feel like they need to spend A LOT of money in order to keep up with other players. There are tons of events and special rewards and the game developers are constantly trying to make new game content for everyone. However that can bring a lot of glitches and in-game bugs that can get annoying at times but they always try to fix it and keep the game healthy and fresh. Still, the game is a grindy pay to win game but it’s still pretty fun and does require strategy and understanding of game mechanics/synergy to beat other players. You must have long term vision for developing your heroes and must be very patient. Overall it’s fun, but it can feel like a chore some days.

Fun game, will need to spend. Kind of a typical play for a bit a day and that’s that - unless you spend. There’s a few low-dollar options that are ok, but to get the level heroes way up in any expedient manner, it’s just about necessary to spend. There’s different ways to get almost all items that don’t require money - just patience. If you join a guild you can fight with titans, get different upgrades, and if you are active, get rewarded. Luckily there’s many aspects to keep you busy between expeditions (which you don’t actually play), arena(s), the tower, and the campaign. While the campaign is always open, other aspects are unlocked when you reach certain levels of power or experience. Overall fun, but wish some of the events didn’t make emerald spend levels so high, and I wish it gave better value if you spend money because pets be honest, this is nothing tangible. Not sure why something that not tangible would cost so much.

Frustrating. Love the game, but you’re extremely limited unless you “pay-2-play” so to speak. The developers are very crafty selling “special events” & “discounts” to pry more money out of your wallet. No matter what you spend it’s never enough & you won’t be competitive unless you spend at least $100. Not even then will you be as competitive as you’d like to be. You may ”just be passing the time,” but you’re limited and again - they know how to market their product well. You’d think they’d be more empathetic to job loss during this Covid-19 pandemic, but they’re capitalizing on it and making money hand over first. How do I know? Most of my guild has spent $50+ minimum, several have spent $100+, and the top 5 won’t admit how much they’ve spent. It’s fun, but the game is a competition and you can’t compete unless you spend money. The down side is, you’ll have no idea what I’m talking about until you reach that point. Also, once you make a purchase, THAT DISCOUNT DECREASES - THEN GOES AWAY COMPLETELY! Again, fun game, but they want your money and are very good at getting into your head & your wallet.

Fun, engaging time sink. The variety of heroes in the game and different teams to make are amazing and create a cool experience. I’ve spent some money on this game and am still nowhere near half as powerful as the top guys on the server. It’s not skill based whatsoever, it’s based off of which guilds have the most money. With that said I still enjoy the game, I’m in a Japanese guild where I’m one of 2 English speakers and it makes for some pretty cool interactions learning each other’s cultures. We are a silver guild and I find it quite unfair that we had to make it to silver to be able to get special skins for heroes and stones for some of the best heroes in the game. Gold gets even more perks. It literally just helps the strongest guilds stay stronger. More rewards are deserved but not those that give you such a huge advantage in the game. I do wish there was more variety in titans. Out of the 12 there are, maybe 6 of them are actually useful, possibly 7 depending on the type of attacker you are. Another negative is that if you have an iPad, the game is borderline unplayable. Can’t see most of the screen because it’s made for iPhone. I can still get battles done and do basic things but the aspect ratio is incorrect for iPad. So yeah if you’re ready to spend money(no I don’t mean 50 bucks, I’m talking hundreds to thousands) then you will have a great time. Otherwise it will take yearsssss to be a champion in a competitive guild

Fantastic game!. I started playing video games when the Atari 2600 came out. Went through Nintendo and then passed the love of video games to my children and took a long break. Well, now nearly 60 years old, I am back at it again Hero Wars combines so many awesome elements into an easy to learn and play game. All the items are tied together, gold, emeralds, runes, skins, potion. Some days you have to decide which to use or buy because it’s hard to do it all. Once you join a guild, it becomes easier and cheaper because the whole guild works together. Choosing which characters to “build” then team up is fun. Competing against other guilds in daily battles is the best part. Wondering if your team of characters can beat theirs. Then you press the button and find out. I know this is very long winded. But, I can’t stop talking and writing about the game. Give it a try, you will love it!

Best ad game on the market. If you like ads and spending money this is the game for you! If you got this game because of ads, are you in for a surprise. Because fortunately, the Hero ads have nothing to do with the game, so if you downloaded the games because you hated the game play shown, you will have nothing to worry about. Getting back to the regular ads, be prepared to spend at least half of your gaming time to include watching ads. And not just regular ads, but extra long ads that have tiny buttons to close the ads which don't work the first 1-3 times of hitting the tiny quit icon and for pretty small "prizes". The rest of the game is essentialy building up your collection of characters to grind daily tasks in order to slowly make your team stronger. Or you can purchase the items to build up your team with real money which is much faster, and they provide plenty of options to spend your real money.

Pretty Fun Game!! But.... Pretty good game. You can work hard to upgrade your players and stats or pay $$$ and get there years quicker. Sometimes it can be difficult to upgrade characters when there is no way of getting more “runes” for that specific character. I also thought there would be more puzzles like I seen in the ad that made me want to get this game, but there are not as many as I hoped. I do believe they are working on adding more though. One thing that bothers me is the difficulty of the Tower. Unlike the dungeon, it’s not very progressive. The first battle you fight in can have enemies with power levels higher than your strongest character (unless you’ve maxed out your characters…which I haven’t…yet), thus wiping out over half of your characters and making it very difficult to even reach a tower level with double digits. Nonetheless, there’s a lot to do and earn on a daily basis which can make the game “addictive,” so don’t get lost in it.

Fun challenging!. Great game, fun and challenging. It will cost you a lot of money if you want to speed progress. Play the events and enjoy the game! Very competitive. Love the artwork and animations! Maybe can we get a team total on the summary page from a battle? Also maybe in training be able to see the summary [i] and the play back button. I was also thinking if we could have a training button to attack our teammates champions on the map for training. Thanks! I was also wondering about the training section, if after your first attack if you could get a pop up to attack a second time if you lost. Choose another team and attack the same hero’s without them fully healed. Another option which might be easier is to not reset the training team until it is beat. That would also allow team attack tests. This would be helpful to prepare fight against harder opponents. It would also be nice to be able to attack back teams in training! Also like the global wars.

The support team is horrible. The game can be good. But it due to how it plays and its constant changes and events involving money, a good support team is extremely important and that is where this game fails really bad to the point I can’t recommend it. You need to spend quite a lot of money to get direct access to the support team to begin with which shouldn’t be required because support for a constantly changing game that uses money is really important. When you do get access they will still ignore your questions and when they do respond they appear to lack any customer service skills and focus on things that are irrelevant to your questions. They also show no empathy and even attack you for asking something they cannot fix and act like it is wrong to ask it in the first place and you are stupid and entitled to think otherwise. This is pathetic. They should encourage people asking questions not deter them. I also am not a fan of the digital only customer service. I prefer being able to communicate verbally which appears to not be an option and my guess is because it is easier to ignore digital complaints. Until this is fixed I can’t recommend this game at all.

Time or Money. This is a decently fun and addictive game to play. There is a whole lot to do in it and a long list of things to level to make your characters better and more competitive. However, you really must choose to spend a lot of time or a lot of money, or both to get very far. My biggest criticism at this point is that you will be forever short on coins unless you spend gems and money to get more. The game is not generous at all with coins no matter what level you are or how many characters you have to level. I would suggest either increasing the amount of coins you get for completing each campaign level based on the Team Level, or increasing it based on the total power level of all the unlocked characters combined. The more characters you have the more coins is required to keep them all useful. There are so many other things that bottleneck development of the characters or tempt players to spend money in game, giving better coin rewards would go a long way to help.

Fun for a week for most. I like the mini game puzzles. There is only a handful of them at the start of the campaign. Gameplay moves fairly quickly at first. The rate of 1 unit of energy every 5min is fine at first. Once you get into the higher levels and character ranks (over 40 and Violet rank) it starts to really slow. When you have to do 160 raids (@8 units of energy per raid= 1,280 Energy)to gain 20 of one item, and your character is going to need 3 of those items to level up (3,840 Energy, =19,200minutes, or 320hours, or 13days), and 4 more of your characters are also going to need that item… It would take months if you didn’t pay $$$$ to gain energy or just have a character bumped up to the next tier. Certain characters are OP. Invest in those characters and you’ll make it to the top 30. Join a strong guild and you’ll get tons of free stuff to help you level up. I’ve been playing for 6months now, and there have been many improvements. I’m still quitting the game as of today.

Good game but hate purchases (that are like scam). I REALLY like this game, but the purchases are very scam-similar. PRO: Sure one can just play auto to push through the fights without necessary interaction (in cases when needing to focus on other tasks at hand), but the player can do better when personally interacting throughout the fights. CON: 1. I don’t think I can link my PlayStore with my AppleStore account so I can continue on with my advanced progress and all my purchases. I would have really liked the option to sign on with an email outside of what is associated with whatever OS stores; like a site where I could have logged on with my computer/PC and shared the access with my various smartphones or tablets. It’s almost like a scam (…unless they can show me otherwise. I’ve already spent a lot of money throughout my progress and refuse to spend anymore on a different OS). This game would have been 100% better if there was a one time purchase option without advertising nor future purchase; a merit based paid game. 2. PURCHASES. It is nearly impossible to progress through the game without purchasing items (with real money), otherwise you’ll wait days to get enough requirements stored/prepared to continue on. Sometimes (later in the game) it appears the game will cause a failure spot until you have enough specific requirements prepared or MADE A purchase.

Mostly a great game, a couple suggested improvements. This has been a surprisingly fun game to play and accumulate characters for battling. Multiple formats to play in. Two things I’d like to suggest they tweak: 1. Lengthen the time guild wars are active. In the US, the guild war starts in the wee hours of the morning and finishes early in the afternoon. Makes it hard for US players who work to consistently participate unless they catch it in the morning before work. Even 2-3 hours more would help a lot. 2. Improve the chat feature to be able to include emojis, translate in real time (some other apps have this with the ability for players to submit corrections to the translation), and be able to message members of the guild individually. All in all been fun playing the last 3 months. EDIT: There is still no progress on improving the chat features requested in #2. This really should be fixed for a game that just increased prices across the board.

You can spend to win. Pay a little bit of money get ahead and dominate. But on a positive note play long enough and keep you will your question you will get caught up in time. Ya next thing I would like to add is some people have better luck then other.. I have personally had crappy luck. Months in to the game and my luck hasn’t change but I am money deep -.-. Hint one focus on one team. This game blesses consistency so 1 skin first 1 glyph. At a time max it then move to the next. Ya maxing takes forever. Hmm the game still cost to much. I wish the game would be more fair. To people like would be great if we would all be dealt similar hands. .Some people.. got to pay more to keep up…cost way to much don’t play while you can. If you haven’t spent money stop now.. I am to far deep and can’t turn around. I am to vested to stop playing 😂

Hero Wars. I really like the game. However, Like many mobile games it gets expensive. To be competitive you can expect to spend hundreds of dollars and spend a lot of time waiting for resources, years! Would I be better off passing on mobile games all together and buying a new console with several games? I’d save money that way! I was lured into this game by the puzzle ads and became quickly consumed by the desire to be competitive with the guild and then server and then cross server battles. Hundreds spent and I’m still a small fish. The developers set it up to give minimal energy which is the driving force of the game. Without it you sit and wait until you have 6-24 to start a mission which will give a random reward when you are after a very particular item. The odds are against you at every turn forcing you to quit or spend another $20-$60-$100 to remain relevant or progress a little bit. The higher lvl you are the more resources/energy will be required, which ultimately = money, money, money. If the developers of these games found a way to make money grow from trees! I’m in the wrong business!

Training suggestion. So the game is gated by many in game currencies so leveling and upgrading takes exponentially longer then if you pay money for upgrades. One of the funnest things I found in the game were the trainings where you can just practice battle your comps. I would literally play the game just for trainings if they allowed you to access every character at maxed out stats and you can choose your skins. Just to test out different comps or just find interesting tricks with all the characters. I’d be much more excited knowing I’m making an informed decision that I will fully enjoy. If you make a comp and put all your upgrades into it and realize later you don’t like it you wasted all those upgrades and it takes a very very long time to boost up a different comp. I also want to add the Halloween event is really cool and interesting. There’s tons of things to enjoy for everyone.

Hero Wars. So far I’m about two weeks into the game. *Disclaimer I have spent money on this game* So far I find everything to be fairly well balanced, there’s a huge amount of effective team combos and it’s very fun mixing and matching heroes finding the best synergies and abilities. There’s so much content, on the edge of being overwhelming, but over the course of playing a few minutes here and there throughout the day I find it pretty easy to get through most everything every day. I will say even with spending some money I’m starting to notice the slowdown, which I’m sure would’ve hit far earlier without the cash boost. I can see this starting to get very expensive or very long and tedious to start advancing my team to higher and higher levels. So far 4.5/5, love all the gameplay just worried about it turning into a soul sucking money pit in about a week or so.

Fun game. Overall this is a pretty cool game. There is lots to do and well it is a grind type of game, it doesn’t feel unbearable. At least it hasn’t yet. I feel like I can make good progress every day, just by completing the tasks that the game presents you with. Which by the way there are plenty. There is a steady flow of in game challenges given to you that can be completed by doing normal things like spending energy or participating in a certain game mode. These challenges often provide petty good rewards and are varied enough to keep it interesting. Don’t get me wrong you can definitely get sucked into spending a ton of money to keep up with all of the different elements that you can upgrade, but it’s not a must. There is some control in battle but not a lot. Most of the skill comes from figuring out which heroes work well together and creating the best teams. Brute force doesn’t always get it done here. You have to pay attention to team synergy. Only four stars because there isn’t a whole lot of player control in battles and it is a bit grindy.

Fun and amazing game. I really get competitive about this game and they do about two events a week that keep the game interesting. It’s really hard to get far without spending money tho but there’s not much I hate about this game. I would like to add that the game developers are really good about mini events, and I know it takes time, but some new characters and chapters on story mode would be amazing. As well as, say, some air titans😉😉. They continually update and keep the game fun! New titans would rejuvenate the game for the original people who started it awhile back all in all amazing game! I think I finally unlocked a lot of the late game things but it definitely takes some time and patience. They finally added something for gold late game with this newest update, you can purchase skin stones from the vip shop using gold which is abundant late game.

A slow game. The game is slow in terms of change and set up only been playing this game a month or so+ and I’m bored for the fact it doesn’t explain what would be a good team set up because the strongest isn’t always the best, certain characters get the Sh@# beat out of them so easily no matter how much you up their skills, money is harder to earn than is to spend, and tower/dungeon is just plain dumb because the levels instead of upping each round like a latter tournament is supposed to go(each round having a designated team and strength) it upgrades daily so level 20 could’ve been cake last week but this week you’re facing all violet ranked and you lose out making it harder and harder daily to get to the previous spot and same thing goes for dungeon lvl 155 used to be level 17 but now every time I upgrade they upgrade and are lvl 23 making it faster to lose. This is getting annoying and why does it have to be 5000 coins to unlock a new skin there should be other methods

Enjoy the journey. If you play this game as if there is a destination or end point you will go crazy...and possibly broke. ENJOY THE JOURNEY. The journey is the game. The game is the journey. The game kinda falls into two parts. There are daily tasks that will become exceedingly boring and button pushing and then there is the teams of heroes you need to invest in and assemble...and battle other player’s teams. The possibilities are endless. The designers keep periodically adding new characters or updating old ones which can get kind of frustrating as you have invested characters and now must adjust to take into account the new players, skills, updates and combinations If I could have one wish I would hope they could come up with more quick fun puzzles and collaboration. My suggestion runs something along the lines of grabbing three players and allowing them to build a grand arena team based upon their 5 weakest heroes. Then pit them against other player combos. I think this would be a boost for the developers because people would invest in a broader range of characters and it would be some fun interactive quick tournaments. Maybe you can enter the arena up to five times and win a bigger chest if you win, a lesser chance if you lose. Much like Outlands. It would also be nice if the “quest” continued on to some meaningful conclusion. Wishful thinking on my part See you in Dominion

I need help because I am obsessed. Me personally I’m obsessed with this game a gorgeous graphics. Awesome. Everything please download please please please please love this game you get a battle you get to unlock new characters and here’s the best part. You don’t have to pay well unless you want to buy them bundles but other than that it’s awesome perfect. Just wait until you have to battle the huge dragon. It’s awesome. It’s so much fun but make sure you practice before you try and battle the dragon OK and you can also play a game inside of a game it’s where you have to move your character into a box and kill other animals that are on the dark side anyway so you guys will unlock Aurora Aurora is very pretty. She is really really strong. I’m on level 12 right now. Yeah I recommend downloading the game. It’s super easy and I’ve only been playing for 20 minutes. I love love this game please download see you next time byeeeeeee!!!

Fun game. I’ve been playing for about 6 months now. It’s a fairly generous game for F2P but I would still recommend spending at least $2 to get unlimited raids, which are critical for long term enjoyment in this game. Finding the right guild is also critical. If you are comfortable with a little spend, Valkyries Favor is a cheap way to get a little bit more out of the game. Watching ads is voluntary in this game but, if you are F2P, spend the 10 minutes a day to watch all the available ads. It’s worth it. A note to the devs: You should provide honest discount statements on Treasure of Dominion. The exact same deal, offered twice, less than a week apart, for two different prices are not both “80% off” as the app claims. Nor is your valuation model of the components in a deal consistent across multiple offers. Saying all of the deals are 80% off is false advertising. Be honest with the people supporting you. UPDATE: I have had this in my last 3 reviews and nothing has changed. The 80% is a lie.

Patience or pay to play. This is a great game with some really cool battle mechanics the further you go. If you have patience and only 20 mins or so to dedicate to playing per day, you’ll never need gems. The game gives you a great deal through special events and regular quests. If you’re looking for more action per day though, you’ll have to purchase gems or special resource packs. Compared to similar games, the packs are pretty expensive. I don’t mind spending some cash but even $100 won’t get you far after you’ve purchased the first few packs. Overall, it’s a really fun game with a lot of different play modes. I advise looking up some player guides for more in depth knowledge on units and teams to get the most out of your battle attempts because if you spend resources on every unit you get, you’ll run out quickly. You need to pick a good attack and def team out of your available units and focus on those. Give the game a shot!

The advertising does not reflect the game at all.. This game lures you in with the puzzles that are non existent once you begin playing. It kills the replay value of the game. To be competitive you have to spend a considerable amount of money. The only reason I’ve stuck with the game is the friends I’ve made through the guilds. The power balances are completely off on the hero’s there’s the investment powering them up doesn’t reflect the payoff. Just when you think you’ve maxed a hero out they release a new skin for them and it’s back to spending and grinding which eliminates any possibility reaching a “finish line” without spending money. Nexters make this interesting. If a hero is used on an expedition then they should NOT be available to fight in the arena or grand arena. Give us the option of opening all the chests in the tower when we reach the top. It get frustrating given the astronomical amount of money we spend the game that we STILL have to pay for Valkyrie’s favor every couple of days. Any in game purchase should automatically extend Valkyries favor!!!!

A nice game. Fun game, has its challenges and a few packs or special offers. Plenty to do to keep busy with and ways of restoring coins and energy. Keep the fun rollin’! Lots of seasonal updates as well. Could use more ways of getting energy, gems and gold. Another problem I have is the missions with keys, advertised with this game and many others. Please remove the ads that have nothing to do with any gameplay Hero Wars provides. I’ve done several “Key” missions and after a certain chapter in the campaigns for my mobile account there aren’t anymore. Not sure why. I enjoyed these and it would be nice to see more of them all the way through the campaign on my smartphone. My friend has the game on his laptop and every chapter has the key missions. More key missions, more fun. My friend also mentioned something about pets. Yeah, don’t have those on mobile account either. That’s all for now.

Hero Wars. Excellent game, the grind is what makes it last. It's enjoyable for the time you put in daily. If you like ftp and enjoy hopping on periodically to enjoy gaming here and there throughout your day... this is an excellent addition. Don't expect to go fast and own face, instead enjoy all the intricate features and realize this is something that unfolds before you over several months. Still playing and love it. There is well over a year + worth of content here so get ready to have this game around. Still going... great game!! Update Mar '23'- it's worth saving the resources you earn in game to level your characters. Do research and watch lots of players videos/read posts... then once you've chosen who you want to level.. then spend the resources. A really fun time! It's great there are always events and new characters. I play everyday. There's even more ways to connect with the game via discord and live streams! Happy anniversary Dominion!

Emerald rework and story update.. This game is the best one I’ve played in a while. BUT I have an idea for a new system for emeralds by using coins, energy, or watching videos to receive various amounts of emeralds. The range is up to the devs. It’s just a thought I wanted to mention. Also, I have an idea for the games campaign. You see, once you beat it, there really is nothing else to do. So I have an idea for there to be an option reset the campaign but NOT your hero’s and to expand the campaign for a bit more content, and to add some features from the desktop and laptop versions. If you can do it, please do! P.S update broke a few things: the Outland bosses appear HUGE and the shop won’t automatically refresh its stock. I have to physically close the game and reopen in to show the items AND I had this issue since the summer sale: I’m not able to buy ANY of the special offers. So please devs, if you’re reading this, please take this into account.

Cool game. I haven’t put this game down since I started. Still playing everyday.. Who else plays nonstop. Amazing game to play to past the time. This is a top 50 game. You have to utilize strategies throughout. I’ve mentioned this game to others and they enjoy it as well. Wonderful game! Check it out. Awesome game! I just reached top 1000 ranked. I’m moving up the boards. I’ve been playing for a while now. I’m moving up the charts. 👍🏾👍🏾 great game to play. Got to find a great pair to play with though. Great for Microsoft as well. I’m at it again. Been at this game for over a year now. Really cool game! Still playing after a year. Join Hero Wars on Facebook. Win prizes. Love the game. And follow them on Facebook for prizes. Take the time and play this game. Very addictive. Also, great game community. It’s still exciting to play, with all the others involved. Going on my 3rd year playing, so far I got to say I play every day. The game has some little network down but it’s ok. A lot of in game purchase.

Variety is the spice!. Appreciate the variety. No one all powerful team nor one guaranteed option. The variety makes finding unique combinations fun! It is easy to slip down the hole of spending to catch up or keep up, but keep a focus on 5-7 heroes and they will suit you will. One damage dealer, one improving the damage dealer, one tank, one healer, and one you can rotate out here and there to further improve healing, control, or damage. It will take you to the end game more often than having the “perfect combination”. Also keep in mind there Magic and Physical attack types. Keep like together. Look at weapon artifacts to understand how each hero helps his team. Armor, Magic Defense, Magic Attack, Armor Penetration, etc. Those temporary buffs enhance the whole team and can make a huge difference in battles! One last thing. If you are just starting, it is best to start on the highest number servers you can.

Cool game but expensive if you want to excel.. Fun for 30 minutes a day for month after month unless you’re willing to spend some cash. F2P players get left behind at a certain point. Really love the competition between guilds and camaraderie in my guilds. Start researching your teams and building your preferred teams early. I think there needs to be some streamlining of the titan dungeon features for long time players, as playing the levels day after day gets tedious, even with auto fights. It’s about time to expand the levels for this game’s scenario play tho! Soul stones have gratefully become easier to get by artifacts is still a super pain. UPDATE: thanks to the impossibility of acquiring key talismans without spending a lot of money and price increases seemingly masked as currency conversions, I will no longer be purchasing gems or anything other than the Valkyrie artifact bonus. It really makes no point to spend money on this game as developers change the formulas and introduce strictly profiteer tactics.

Stay away from this game at all cost... delete. This game starts out by having false ads for what the game might be... then you think ‘heck why not ?’ - from there you will fine the game interesting because they’ve done a solid job on creating a game that has logic and development. The sad part is, just like every other game, they are about making millions and millions off of their players. It’s an addicting game that honestly should be sued for false advertising and manipulation of game odds to generate profit. I have seen dozens of times when you need that last ‘X’ and the only way to get it is to spend money. There is zero chance to be competitive unless you spend hundreds ... multiple hundreds of dollars to win. I also had the bad luck that I let my nephew play for a very short window and did not realize my giving him access to my phone would also allow him to spend money. I requested a refund for that very specific time frame ... after stop spending well over $1000 in other times and it was denied. Just run now...

Actually enjoyable. Nice to have a strategy game that’s fun and doesn’t drown you with ads. I like how they don’t corner you into a requirement of spending money or watching ads to continue playing, however it’s a very very slow progress once you get to a higher level if you don’t spend money. Off the bat I didn’t think I would like it much, but once you get through the basics and understand how it plays it’s pretty addictive. If you do spend some money, the VIP level perks you gain are only good for the first few levels. Then it’s just a pointless system that only unlocks the ability to spend more emeralds (aka, money). Not actually rewarding you for your purchase with useful bonuses. That’s my biggest complaint. The VIP system needs an overhaul. It’s garbage. Some hero’s are impossible to evolve unless you purchase a random offer for soul stones, and it is like $30 to get enough for one evolution. It’s 6 evolutions to max out, and I’m sorry, but I’m not paying like $120 or whatever to peak a little virtual fighter on my phone. To summary, great game, no ads (unless you choose to watch them for rewards which is nice), but once you get to higher levels you screech to a hault in progress unless there’s a really nice event (which they DO do often), or you spend a good chunk of money.

Extremely fun to start! Extremely expensive to keep the fun going.. The game has very cool aspects. Strategy is simple and fun. Plenty of activity to keep you entertained. Leveling is fun and leaves you wondering how it will progress. It progresses into a wide range of activities that kept my interest. I started enjoying it more and more and decided to purchase some things to support the game. Sadly I started seeing that midgame and endgame is largely pay to win. I’m not talking a few bucks either. After a few $1, $2, and $3 purchases I started to $19 purchase packs all the way up to $100 and think yeah right. Single character skins for $15. Your team grows to 30+ characters. You don’t have to buy anything but you’ll reach a point we’re you have to make a choice to spend some big money or slow your progress to a snails pace. After spending a lot of time it gets frustrating that progression becomes less unique and more and more cost dependent. I rated it a 4 because it starts great.

An addicting game that is built around a pay wall.. You have successfully built a game where the player gets addicted and pays RL money to even progress in the at a satisfying level. It is engaging, with cool characters, it has WAY to much to do that gives you the illusion that there is tons of stuff to do within the game. So you shouldn't have to “feel” like paying RL money, but when you dig deeper, everything is set behind the “pay wall” (gems) Its a typical phone game where you pay to win. If this company actually wanted to create a mature game instead of focusing on just making money, which they never will because I'm sure they are making millions off this game, they should obviously get rid of the “pay wall” (gems). I would call this game (and the developers) a modern crack dealer. Congratulations to the developers, you got me hooked, i hope u enjoy every penny i shamefully give to you.

Pretty good game. Waiting for gameplay improvements.. The game is a lot of fun with plenty of different activities to do, from the Tower, City Gates, Outland, Highway Men, and 13 chapters worth of levels. The only problem is when you finish each of the activities. The current event, Magic Tree Sapling, is enjoyable, but when will there be new levels? I know the PC version has ranks beyond Orange+4 and hero levels beyond 120. When will those updates arrive? Other than that, I enjoy it. Another note: during certain special events, the quests available are “win in the Arena/Grand Arena with x number of heroes.” Could we do more special events that just give credit to different battles in the Arenas, regardless of what heroes are involved? Update: Really enjoying the talismans event. I wish we didn’t have to spend money to get some of the talismans, but I’m really enjoying the customization options. Is it possible to reroll individual slots instead of all of them at once?

Getting boring. It is a pay to win game. This game can be played for free, but you will not get very far. Nearly all advantages in the game require payment. When you decide you have had enough and stop paying, you realize how slow and boring the game is, regardless of your VIP level. You want faster gameplay? $5 every two weeks. May not sound like a lot, but it is $130 per year. There are many events that occur. All are free, but limited. Want better/more rewards. Payment required. Payment makes it fun. Free emeralds require putting up with the possibility of spam to your email, or phishing. I would advise against it. This game caters to high level players and players that pay. If you’re not willing to spend hundreds of dollars per month, I would be cautious and probably go for another game. If you are here because of the ads featuring the mini-games, turn around. There are only a few of them. New ones are never added. I haven’t seen a mini-game since my second week of playing in the summer of 2020.

Review. I really enjoy this game. A few things I would change. I can’t always watch all the videos to get my daily bonuses. I usually only get to watch 2 before they start freezing. Have to fight way too many battles to get what I need to promote my heroes now that I’m at level 50. I might have to fight 30 battles just to get a couple of parts that I need. I think that is a little ridiculous. The rewards for about everything need to be way better. Especially for the higher ranking people. Some of the rewards I get literally barely help out at all. Another thing that needs to improve is the chest. I keep spending really money to buy emeralds and Favor. I keep opening chest and opening chest and opening chest and many times I get 1 player card. That is terrible. I have been playing for months now and I still can’t get Cleaver or any of the 3 Heroic Titans. I also never can hit anything big in the Money wheel. Maybe I’m just the unluckiest player in the World. I do enjoy the game but sometimes it seems the game really is here just to try to take your money.

Great Game but not Perfect. Love the game but it has issue on the upper levels. I’ve invested a good sum of money to keep my characters on top and strong. Trying to advance my characters out of the violet into the yellow has been more of the challenge than what the game plays out. With every character that needs the Book of Fate to advance, I’ve lost my items when I press the create button. I thought it was me at first, but after invest a LOT of emeralds to achieve the item needed, it occurred to me that there is a glitched in the game and it keeps taking my money. I found a way around, by buy even more emeralds (spending real money) and advancing my characters through a Merchant Special Offer. I’ve complained and put in a ticket but I have not heard anything back and it has been about two weeks. I have begun to start to loose interest in the game because of these issues since I’m in a level of the game where it’s getting very hard to advance and with the glitch, I really don’t want to invest any more money just so I have to figure out ways to advance in the game.

Fun but cash grab. I really enjoy this game, however this game is the embodiment of a pay to win game. From the multiple in game currencies, there are nine at least, to the VIP only events and actions. Want a new skin to upgrade one of the MANY heroes, pay money or you can save up 5000 of an item that you might be able to get 200 a day of, but are more likely to get 50, and after you get that skin, you are not done yet because you still need 30,000 to 50,000 more skin stones to max it’s power. Now do that 2-5 times PER hero. Definitely a pay to win scheme. That said the mechanics and graphics are nice, the list of heroes is diverse and multiple battle strategies are valid. Player interaction is minimal, even being in a guild doesn’t really improve the social side. Take a pass on this one, unless you have a few hundred USD to burn every month or don’t mind playing a game where you will need several years of collecting rewards from in game events to even qualify for a top tier guild, which is required for certain skins and game features.

Hero Wars after 13 campaigns. The game is pretty cool. It’s not at all what I had in mind. I thought I was downloading a puzzle app. The type of game where you have to pull the pins in a specific order in order to set the hero free... kinda like the way the game is advertised. Much to my disappointment there was only one puzzle stage at first, and now I’ve discovered maybe two more. I continued playing the game in hopes of unlocking more puzzle stages. The game started to grow on me. I then became determined to complete all of the campaigns. This leads me to my ultimate disappointment with this game. After completing the final campaign, there was absolutely nothing. No messages, no congratulations, nothing! There’s just simply no more campaigns left to play. What a bummer. Now I’m left to compete in the arenas and battles in the dungeon. Wish there were more. Or maybe I’m missing something...🤔🤔 Overall though, I’ll say I enjoy it.

Great. Never gets old, always entertaining. Awesome game. Still hooked Update... still great Addiitive Some bumps with the updates, but still good Still playing 1.5 years Great events Still going strong Great community Still great Still playing 2 years Awesome Game became more pay to win with last update. Still not wild about latest hydra update Server merge...not sure why Server merge made game more competative. Still more pay-to-win with the addition of hydras. Still taking my money! Trying to cut back. Still playing..yes. Not looking forward to the new “floating ship thingy”. Still no ship thingy… well, ship thingy happened during an event. Was universally hated and Hasn’t been seen since. Update Thankfully, the flying ships haven’t returned. New gameplay mode is pretty cool. Gave me zelda vibes. Still no flying ships…happy. Still playing….update…not wild about the new talismans. Talismans seem to have little effect on battle outcomes.

Does not look like the previews. I saw the previews or commercials during other games. This is not what I expected. I thought it might be a fun math game for my son, though I worried about the violence. Nope! I am addicted to this game!! Just as compelling as ever! Still playing! I really like the new characters. They introduce them every now and then and give you the ability to bring them up to speed, see who works well with them and who their main competitors are. It’s an evolving game. It isn’t stagnant. They keep adding new stuff! New adventures! New levels! New characters to play! New ways to advance characters! Most extras can be played without paying extra! And all new incentives to play! New game features unlocked! I go away sometimes when life gets too busy. But I am always able to step back into the game, like nothing happened! The events? They are pretty regular! Holiday events, mini events, motivation to keep playing! And lots of fun! Prices have dropped for buying extras!

Something wrong!. Please fix the game something wrong every time I log in it turn off the game. Please fix the game I can’t log in! Is been three days I can’t log in fixed the game. What going on to this game is been three days I can’t log in it frost what going to happen to my gems. I spend so much money on this game. And you guys can’t fixed it this is a getting boring! The end of the game…😡😡😡this games is getting boring and waste of money i spend too much here and there's no new level. This game is freaking boring I waste so much and then that last level. Boring boring boring again and again....that's all you guys have new skin no new level. Wow is boring... Wow! Only 13 chapter us getting boring. Why you guys can't put the chapter that's all only 13- chapter. Is getting boring! I believe I'm going stop playing this game. So wasting money for no good game! You guys don't put any new chapter. Im going to start my old game hero charge at least they have new chapter every time not likes this game boring.

Alright so far. Not the best monetization model I’ve seen for a free to play gatcha game, but certainly not the worst either. Plenty of stuff to do each day to keep you fairly busy, though sometimes it can be a bit more tedious and annoying than enjoyable. I think the most egregious form of monetization in this game is locking the “speed up” function of battles behind a money wall. It’s not even a one-time unlock, it looks like you have to pay every 15 days for something called “Valkyrie’s favor” to keep it. Considering how long battles can take even when you’re one-shotting enemies, and my previous complaint about the tedium of optimizing each day so that you can progress at a decent clip in the game, this feels pretty predatory. Other, similar games like AFK Arena have you unlocking features like this for free during the course of normal gameplay progression. I do actually pay money into games that I like and that I feel are fair and generous with their monetization models, but stuff like this makes me actively *not* want to spend any money on the game.

Spenders beware. This is a super fun game initially. Beautiful graphics and complex enough to require solid strategizing. After a week or two of free play you will need to start spending money to advance. However, spending money will only sloooowly improve attributes. As a result, I spent several hundred dollars expecting character improvements to accelerate, but several thousand dollars later that materialized agonizingly slowly. Eventually you will dominate if you have deep pockets and guild mates who teach you efficiencies. This is the last pay to play game I will download (famous last words). What happened to the days of games costing a fixed amount? How about multimillion to billion dollar profits by dumping single fee to purchase games in favor of pay to progress games. Smart business sense but I’m sure it impoverishes people with addictive personalities. Hopefully the creators are donating generously to recovery centers. 😻

Pretty cool game. There is a nice fast startup right out of the gate. The graphics are very good, and the animation is done well. The characters have an artistic flair that is missing in many games. This is a build game, so some spending will greatly increase your pleasure in the game. The characters all have several aspects to build so the rate of build is pretty decent. You feel like, and actually are making progress in a month or two if you focus on one character. You don’t need to have a large number of heroes leveled up to have fun and score wins. The heroes have a wide variety of strengths so there is not one dominant hero that you can’t pull or have shell out for, so the interest in playing with different combos stays high. I’ve been playing HW for two years and still enjoy it. Time commitment is very manageable while still having success.

Review. Early in game but I can tell I like this and will play it. Most games I try within thirty minutes I can tell I won’t enjoy it but this one has that feel of just easy enough to keep you moving along and enough detail and uniqueness to keep your attention. The system along with loot and character development is really smooth and I enjoy spending time playing. Little goals I set and enjoy achieving such as new level ups or obtaining a new character. All in all it’s idle enough to not be work but still so much detail AB’s thought in to the actual playing that it feels like a true RPG. Truly a Gem in its genre I’d say easily one of if not the best game like this. Which says alot as the field is flooded with this type of Lay-out and approach. Yet at the same time I feel it’s wrong to put it in the mix with those other type games as this one just feels done so Right that all the others are just Wrong. Would not have known this until I played this game. SHINING! Yahtzee I say!!

Entertaining game with potential. The game in itself is entertaining, once you complete the first few chapters, you can play mini games and enjoy a progressive team effort game. After this it is considered that you like the game and the game starts to be come really hard as levelling up heroes becomes more and more time consuming. So from chapter four in the campaign onwards, you really need to pay to keep moving forward without getting frustrated. For some reason they stop doing all the mini games too and the image in the game icon of Galahad holding an avid tube, did not make any sense so far. If they would make a little more effort to make the it more interesting by adding a hero story instead of just grinding to level up with no other goal than becoming stronger and stronger, the game would get much more value. In a nutshell the beginning of the game is interesting, but difficulty and progress becomes much slower after chapter three at which point to be able to continue without frustration, you’ll have to give a contribution.

Mostly as advertised but a little all over the place. So this game is more true to its ads than most games I’ve seen, but at times the content looks like it was developed by different teams and feels like it’s almost part of a different game/replicates stuff other games have. However, it also has even more that was advertised and I’m loving it. It’s mindlessly fun and people say you need to spend money to enjoy it and I’ve only spent $2 just because I could, but it wouldn’t have made it any less accessible. You get so many little rewards just for doing stuff as you progress without having to go out of your way. We love a game that encourages and rewards you for playing it! Couldn’t give 5 stars only because there’s so much that’s not woven together very well/you have to check 10 different things to claim rewards and it gets to be a little tedious even though it’s exciting to collect said rewards.
