Bonus Chapter Explains All. This game has a unique way of presenting the storyline, told as a story from the character you play. I thought this was creative and captured my interest in the game itself. The bonus chapter helps explain the unanswered question from the main story, while from another character's viewpoint who also played a part in the main story. I loved this! It relates so well, while really having a satisfying finality to the game. The HOP puzzles were okay, and I did have issues tapping on items in the HOPs as well as the game itself. Other puzzles get harder as the game progresses, many of them similar to logic puzzles. Sometimes they can be confusing until you study them and unlock the thinking of the creators of the puzzle. I love having a challenge and being able to figure it out while having to use my brain instead of mindless matching games or puzzles that do not take much thought. Great job on this to Big Fish/Elephant Games! Happy with this buy!

Don’t buy this game. As it turned out, I had already purchased this game some time ago, but had to purchase it again after not heeding the warnings in the review. After I paid for it, it went dark just as some of the reviews said. Tita Waste of money and time on my part.

Wont load. Tried over and over again with Wi-Fi and without. It will not load and I have the latest version of iPhone and it still won’t load.

Great game. Very well-made game, good story and bonus game. Game play might be a little short but other than that, pretty enjoyable over all.

Program fails to load. I have played the Jeronimo game about halfway through. Each time I stopped I quit properly but today for no reason it fails to load. I deleted the program, reinstalled, same issue. The newly d/l program loads to the point where your only choices are to browse more games in the App Store, or you can click resume game. I click resume game, then a black screen. I unload the game and try again. Black screen. ACK!

It's a keeper 🤗. Love it all too many to mention. Sigh..,what can I say? Except I'm going back in 😜

Short but fun. Too short, in my opinion. Only 26 scenes including the bonus chapter. Puzzles were easy to medium in difficulty. There are 16 hops for those who love them, and they were list, silhouette, uncover the pairs, and storybook based. Graphics were bright, which I appreciate. Also, a really good story for once! You collect morphing objects in every scene, 12 collectible cards scattered throughout, which you can then use to get your fortune told! You also collect 40 coins found in close-ups, which you use to buy food for various forest critters. Really fun to play!

Unplayable!. Crashed twice and I reinstalled but at about halfway thru both times when I would open it the screen was black-verdict=unplayable and frustrating

Love it. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out to see the continuation of Jeronimo and Valeria’s story

Almost there.. Very rich and realistic graphics. Don't like the anachronistic items in the hidden object scenes like the plane. Also some minigames way to easy like marking the areas to put the objects in the gargoyle spot-the-differences mini game. Maybe a 5 yr- old would need this.

Fantastic!. Finally! Now this game is my favorite for all the time for hidden object games! Because of unique puzzle and hidden objects. All I can say is Fantastic! I'm so happy to see a high quality of movies. YES! I give 5 stars for this game. Now I am forward looking for a new game which will be similar to this style game.

Fun. Fun game. Challenging but not too hard, wish the bonus chapter showed a reunion

Interesting until it crashed. Storyline was pretty interesting and some of the games creative, although puzzles were simple. Made it to the last chapter of the main game when game failed to load. So, disappointed that I cannot properly finish the game or unlock the bonus chapter.

So far I was enjoying it. So far I was enjoying it until it would not load. At first it starts and asks you to resume game once you resume game the screen goes blank and it doesn't load I already tried to restart my device and it still doesn't load the game. Please fix this issue I would like to continue to play and complete this game.

Very Intriguing!. Loved the storyline, graphics, voiceovers. It also has some interactive hidden object scenes as well as lists and silhouettes. Puzzles were fun. Warning - some 4 legged rodents in this game! Always, a joy to play elephant head games. Sorry to see it come to an end. Really gets you involved in the plot - not predictable which is a huge plus in my opinion. Thanks to the developers and Big Fish for this very entertaining game. KdBoots

Was Enjoying It Until..... All I got was a black screen when I tried to play! And I was almost half way through the game.

Stopped running, can’t reactivate. I purchased this game last December. It stopped running, so following a support article from BFG, I uninstalled it. When I reinstalled it, it wouldn’t reactivate. BFG referred me to Apple support, because it was obviously something wrong with the iStore. Apple confirmed my purchase, and said it was a bug in the app. I pinged BFG again and... crickets. I doubt I’ll ever buy another iPad app from this developer.

Awesome game. Really enjoying this one. Dragons, witches, werewolf, enchantments. Great puzzles and hops. No glitches so far.

I thought it rocked!. The main game ended a little abruptly, so maybe that why some people thought this was a short game. But, it was seriously fun!

Midnight Calling - Jeronimo - dive in and enjoy!. Elephant Games did a great job on this one! Gorgeous artwork, interesting storyline and varied HOG and mini games. Game is fairly long and you get awesome helpers! Transporting indicated map, morphing collectables, taro cards and coins. A few vermin but chased away by your helpers. This is a love story wrapped in an adventure. Verdict:buy and enjoy!

Chapter 2. This game was super fun...a tad short for my liking but I am looking forward to the next one

Too short. Took me less than an hour to beat the game and the bonus. Story was cool, just wish I wouldn’t have bought the game.

Jeronimo. Finally, another game that I enjoy playing. I hope it won't be too short. Graphics are great. I love it.

Keeps crashing. I did all of the troubleshooting hints. I have an iPad Pro with plenty of memory. About every 4 or 5 moves I have to close the app and restart it. I have shut down my iPad, removed and reinstalled the game, losing all of my progress, closed any other running apps. Nothing helps. Wish I had not purchased and will probably not get more BF apps on my iPad. I play all of the time on PC and no problems

Solid. Good puzzles, a lot of variety in the HOAs. Plus you get a little pal in the lower left corner to help you out - I'm a sucker for those. I

Stuck!. The game is refusing to give me a hint beyond telling me which room to be in, after escaping the locked cell in the jail. I have exhausted what I know to do there, so I am wondering if there is a bug? Loved it up to this point.

So mad!. I was in the middle of playing this game which I enjoyed, until the screen went totally black and I could not in any way to recovery it. I waited a few days, and it still did not recover. So, I had to erase the entire game even though I paid for it. I don't usually have trouble with big fish games, so this was a real disappointment.

Disappointed can’t finish game. Been playing game for awhile now when I open it it says continue game so I push it and screen goes blank. I want my money back. I really like the game a lot but want to finish it. Please fix this problem. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix it I would like to know. I am playing on my iPad. Falls short. The graphics are smooth and the animation is enjoyable to watch. Of the hundreds of games out there, this game is one of the shortest. The mini games are not very challenging although there was a good variety of them. What disappoints most is the inability to pick up missed items after the games is completed, such as collectibles or morphing items. Without those features, it just mediocre coding. But, this attitude seems prevalent in many similar games, these days.

Midnight Calling: Jeronimo. Halfway through playing, the game freezes up; the screen turns black, and then it fails to install. Have tried several times, to no avail. This is highway robbery, and the game needs to be fixed. Big Fish bears full responsibility for games that they sell, and cannot be played. Refunds should be provided to anyone who encounters and reports such problems, and done automatically.

Loved It!. I am another person who does not write many reviews, unless a game is really horrible or really good. This is the latter. I really liked the story, the puzzles and HO scenes were fun and interesting, and the game ran without a glitch. If only they weren't always this good.

Crashes on 10.2 and does NOT Recover. I've contacted Big Fish and I'm waiting for info. Game crashes using iOS 10.2 on iPad. When you try to restart game you get black screen and it hangs. Hard reboot doesn't work. I had to delete game, reinstall and start over and data is lost. It's a shame because it's a fun game and I'm enjoying the puzzles and graphics. Makes me Leary of other BF games if not well tested and optimized.

WAY too short. I bought it on sale, after trying the trial game. The trial was over quickly, and I THOUGHT it MIGHT mean the game was short, too. It was. I finished the entire game and bonus within a few hours, while watching TV! Duh! So, for me, not worth the $3.99 I paid for it. It has all the bells and whistles, but there are problems, too. Sometimes you can't place an item because the game won't allow it at that time. Sometimes trying to place or pick up an item is iffy and takes several tries to get it just right enough for the game to accept it. Some puzzles had very poor instructions. Some were WAY too simple. Others were boring. And some so confusing I had to skip them, like the third puzzle in opening a bunch of locks on a safe. All in all I was very disappointed. It could be a good game, but.....

Beautiful and Most Enjoyable to Play. This is a fabulous, fun-to-play game with a lot of variety and challenge in the scenes. The appealing cute helpers add some whimsy and pleasure in playing the game. I recommend it wholeheartedly for all lovers of this genre of game.

'Freezes. The game is quite good but it freezes every few minutes so you have to exit out of it then go back in again. It becomes very frustrating and takes twice as long to play the game!

Gran. Liked this game played and bought the game then started the bonus game . I played for about 20 min then had to go out. When I tried to get back into the game it won't let me, all I get is a black screen. This is the second game that has done this so what's going on? Not happy since I paid for this game!,,looks like in the reviews no one has had this problem, I can't even reload it from purchases, any ideas out there? **Gran re.lax** Suggestion. First You should have a memory cleaner when playing a lot of games. I use Battery Doctor and its free. Its an excellent app thats been around for sometime now. (You can trust it and dont be scared of the pop up warnings. Just Press done). If cleaning up after that doesn't help maybe just maybe its time for a format. AND I was just wondering what OS are you on and what iPad your using. (Newer games use a lot of memory etc.) Hope this helped you. Ive seen you around for years now. Good luck 👵🏻 P.S. I am pleasantly surprised, love the game. It's an elephant game with all of the things you would expect from them. Collectables, morphing objects etc. So far so good👍🏼 ..... Finished the game and WOW, this was one of my favourites! The storey is easy to follow as it is being told as you go. There are so many things to do, so much packed into every scene. Lots of different puzzles, awesome graphics and a few helpers that actually made sense. I can not recommend this game enough!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good!. Good length. Just the right level of difficulty. The only reason I deducted a star is that the "secret room" section of the extras is only a chance to replay all the HOS and minigames, nothing new at all.

Hey, Jeronimo! Call "Me" at Midnight! Your lots of Fun!. This is a supernatural fantasy, which takes place during medieval times; and it contains essences of dark magic and intrigue. As the story advances through the narrative perspective of Jeronimo, you explore a dire and ill-boding environment as you pass through desolate forests with wild, growling beasts and a run-down, abandoned witch's lair; discover occult-like symbolism, such as the offerings of skeletal remains and witch's amulets; and fight off the ghastly apparitions of tortured victims. The graphics are adequate enough in that they are fairly clear; however, they could use some fine-tuning in order to enhance their sharpness. The color scheme is overwrought with a monotonous, tenacious shade of purplish-blue, which has become a prosaic earmark in almost every horror-themed game. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and puzzle-like; items require assembly. The teleport map enables speedy transport to desired locations; it functions in an all-in-one capacity since it confines some of the other components to one general area. You are also gifted with a journal to chronicle the story as you continue. The HOS are varied and creative in structure; I love the one where you find symbols from the alchemist-oriented cabinet inside the witch's lair. The puzzles are interesting in their simplicity; at times, you can choose between modes of difficulty. Transition between scenes is brisk; no delays. The collectibles are well blended into the background; you collect some within the close-ups as well. Your journey is not that vast in terms of locations to navigate through; however, there are a multitude of tasks to effectuate within each one. To sum it up, this one contained all of the favorable features that we expect nowadays, including some nice variety. Unfortunately, I deducted a star because I find the touch sensitivity to be somewhat unresponsive regarding the collection of inventory items. Otherwise, it's a worthy purchase and a fine way to spend some time.
