This app is amazing. I have had a professional bike fit on my Tri bike, and then I bought a road bike and just kind of “winged it” visually. After my first ride I hurt all over. I decided to get this app and WOW was my first attempt all wrong. After using this app for about 15 minutes I had my bike feeling much better. Just the fact that you can get all of the angles so easily and accurately is worth it, never mind the ability to make moves and see the resulting adjustments AND the visual range “guide”. This won’t replace a bike fit if you want a “perfect, personalized fit” but for 95% of us this will do the trick. I am an age grouper triathlete. Not particularly competitive but I am probably one tier up from weekend recreational cyclist, so take my opinion for whatever you think it’s worth.

Fixed my front alignment!. Very helpful app. I have been going by feel for 6 months and made some headway but issues were still present. For $20 the app took me the rest of the way. Thanks!

Doesn't work. It doesn't work at all. It has you place dots on your joints and the dots are supposed to show you your body angles as you spin for a few seconds. However, these dots don't stay on their assigned body parts. After several attempts using several videos with clear white back drops, it still think that my body parts are flying all over the screen. Absolutely worthless... Edit: Developers left a response to my review. Clearly they didn't read my review because their advice was to tell me to do something that I had clearly stated that I had done. No wonder the app doesn't work...

Good, but you are on your own!. I downloaded the EZ version and the Elite version. I have a few technical questions but gave up on trying to reach support. They don’t answer emails!!! One of my issues was that I created several files on the EZ version and wanted to open them in the Elite version but t this doesn’t work— the instructions say it does! A 5 start app normally has great tech support!

Worth way more!. There is no doubt that what this app does is very very impressive. Time will tell if I like the bike fit that I have given myself using the guidelines in this app but it is such a powerful tool! Very smooth and polished and I highly recommend it.

Just keeps getting better!. This app has been amazing, and it just keeps getting better. They” new auto-locate feature to find reference points is superb and shockingly accurate. While BFF Elite won’t replace the knowledge of professional bike-fitter, it will substantially increase your comfort and efficiency on the bike. Not everyone needs an expensive professional fit anyway, but almost everyone can benefit from the app. Highly recommended!

Gets really complicated to setup. Its a good app to check over your own fit. I did a fit with the app and i wasn’t too far off from my own fit that i’ve done through various videos (i.e. GCN, Cam Nicholls, Francis Cade). Improvements: -A way to use the front cam, some people are fitting themselves and don’t have the luxury of someone else helping them so it would help to have the front cam as well be utilized. -Marker placements need to be more in depth on the app. I could not find where to place the markers when the camera was facing the front of the bike -For some reason in already good lighting, the camera on the app seems to be way darker than it should. -On the different positions of the crank, the dots did not line up that well with the physical markers Overall its an okay app, just needs more improvement

Huge improvement over free version, VERY useful. I used to use the free version and it was interesting but almost useless in determining how to adjust the bike. The Elite version are $10 well spent. The automatic detection of the dots and the dynamic measurement are amazing. The report comparing measurements between different settings is extremely useful. Mist of all, the feature to see the effect of adjusting specific settings (e.g. seat height, front/rear position) is truly amazing! Fantastic tool, highly recommended!!

Perfect,. RTFM! Works like a charm! Reading the manual and getting some decals that give contrast with the rider will do the trick. Wearing all black is favourable. We use it at our triathlon club level to dail in fit with perfect results. Well worth the money

Cool. This was my first time using a bike fitting app. I figured I could save some money and gain some knowledge in the process. It wasn’t too difficult to set up and pretty easy to use. The only issue I had was the placement of a few of the markers (stickers). I wish there was A little better explanation on where they go with maybe a few better pictures showing placement. I discovered that a simple inaccurate placement of a sticker or two could throw off all the measurements. The upper leg placement and the shoulder ones seem tough to get accurate. Other than that I’m pleased with the app

Crap. Will not track parts of body. Not even close. Do not waste your money. Worst app ever!!

Really needs apple watch companion.. I love just about everything about this up, except that I still need help from my wife when fitting myself. The 30s delay is not enough for me to run to my bike, clip and start pedaling. Being able to start video from Apple Watch would be great.

Great!. I’m new to riding and with Corona I couldn’t get fit at local bike shop. This help me see pertinent metrics to be able to dial in my bike (road and Triathalon) myself.

Awesome app. I love this app. I used some fluorescent green stickers on my key body points, dialed in the bike with the camera, set 30 second timer, shot the video, and then easily identified the stickers in the video with the app and it tracked perfectly. I was able to download the video and take snapshots of various positions and angles.

Only able to take a single video. EDIT: I am updating my review from 2 starts to 5 stars. After emailing the developer they responded the same day and managed to solve my issue. Although it is not documented, you CAN NOT use the session that the application ships with. You must create a new session to start your bike fit and the application works perfectly. The amount of information that you get from a $15 application is incredible. Application- 5 stars Support (email) - 5 stars Highly recommend this application now!! ORIGINAL: First impressions of the app were incredible! The baseline numbers showed that I needed to move my seat back and up. After making these changes I Tried to record a second video to compare the changes and I was presented with an error: A file with the name “recording.mov” already exists. No additional recordings can be made. Not working with endurance geometry. ATTENTION !! This app is not working with endurance geometry bike. impossible to get in the green range with normal position.

Not sure. Anyone having any luck using spot location to get angles? Not sure what the point is because when I run the analysis the dots drift way off their location. I wish I could just advance the video to where I want, add spots and get some measurements. Once the spots are added there doesn’t seem to be a way to go back to the original video either. Suggestions?
