I really like this news but…. I think there might be a glitch because every time I tap on the news notifications it never leads me to the article I want to see. Instead it just takes me to the homepage. Please fix this, thanks.

Search option is missing. This is a NEWS App and Search feature is missing. How does one find a particular item? Keeping on scrolling and looking for the needed news is painful. The Feedback window is unusable as the keyboard covers it and one cannot see what is being typed on screen on iPhone-13 Pro. Screen rotation doesn’t work. NEWS is biased. It’s WION - World is One but appears to be propaganda to bash developed countries and project developing countries particularly India in favorable terms. Nothing wrong in it, every country has propaganda organs! It’s time India had one and WION’s lady does it pretty blatantly!

Information Laden and Quick Access. Timely information and quick accessibility to current notable events weather and sports.

Another view on world affairs.. As with western media (which leaves out details of interest - like race of victims and perpetrators) WION leaves off details like the religions of victims and perpetrators ( Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Sikh). In the vibrant and violent world of the world’s largest democracy, these details help keep your western readers/watchers aware of “Truth” and political realities in India. We WANT to know…. please inform us with the whole story. Thanks!! I enjoy watching and reading WION news even if I don’t agree with them. India is too important to ignore the opinions of hundreds of millions of its citizens. Thanks for sharing your stories with the world.

Consumes lot of data with ads and news video clips. Auto start of ads and news clips while running in cellular data mode is not desirable. Not everybody has unlimited data plan. You can start ad if user wants to play the news clip.

Awesome news coverage by WION. The coverage of news relevant to Indian diaspora is commendable. There is also news for everyone here that is hard to find in mainstream US news channels

Does what I expect. It brings me news updates . If I see a notification of a new article I want to read, I can easily get to it .

App experience needs improvement. The iOS app that I’m using has issues with images not getting displayed in articles. Also when there is the more than one embedded Twitter link the content being that gets truncated due to overlapping ads. I understand the objective being ads for the channel. However, it shouldn’t make user experience annoying. The above issues have made me use the app lesser though it has good content. Further, please provide a way to control notifications which are too many at times

Needs to offer more user control.. Having the ability to control text size is a nice touch, but users can already modify that on their phone. However, that’s where it ends with WION—you have no other controls. This app’s biggest downfall is not including a “dark mode” setting or at least coding the app so it mimics your own phone’s live brightness setting (dark mode on, in my case). It’s your bog-standard news app otherwise, but I do certainly give them credit for a better class of reporting and being a more trustworthy news source—there’s definitely more integrity and less of a sideshow atmosphere with WION. I just hope they improve this lackluster app. They can do better. I know they can.

Text is super small. The text is super small and the setting to make it bigger does not work, you can toggle the option to a bigger text and everything stays the same no changes to the font size.

Live service in US discontinued?. I used to watch WION love for the past year or so but am not getting live streaming since the last week or two. Has it been discontinued?

WION could easily be better if it didn’t suffer from lies!. Palki S Upadhyay is reporter at WION who hypersensationlizes stories. She is more fiction then fact. Her reports have very false narratives on USA, a country where I live and I know for sure what happens. In an effort to boost her own ratings on WION she fabricates the truth and gives a very biased opinion most of the times, this opinion is puppetized and echoed off other fake media news outlets from America. Sadly I don’t find other reporters as bad as Palki S Upadhyay. She is the downfall for this News Outlet. Also they are so much unrecognized because they don’t even have a Apple TV App or presence. It’s a shame they don’t strive to be unbiased and fact driven. That is what News is really about!

End of Democracy in the Philippines. This is not right 1.) CBS-NBC had a lot of Violations . There was a hearing in the Congress that is why the were closed . Love the app and the content. I think this is probably the best news content out there period. Palki is one the best news anchor. Only complain I have is make your app more user friendly. I think the font is too small and very hard to read. Ignore the haters who don’t like the content and the news anchor. They don’t like knowing the truth. They prefer the Fake news.

World News and Analysis. WION is my go to App for news from around the world, it is sad that I can’t get real news from America’s News Channels, trust is a big factor in searching outside of the USA. I appreciate WION reporting. Thank you.

Perfect app. Very underrated news provider, it’s actually really reliable, if you want to know more news around the not just in The US it’s perfect

Fonts & dark mode. The font size don’t change even after you adjust both the phone and app settings. Irrespective of the dark or light mode, the app stays in the light mode. From a accessibility standpoint, it’s not that great. You have a fantastic news content & am happy to give you 5 stars for that. The app is not that great.

Many bugs in the app. I love the content but the app is really in a bad state. Tabs with names such as sports or ipl doesn’t contains news related to them. On clicking the notifications on my iphone it won’t take me the news notification that I clicked on.

Very good channel and authentic but poor app. The UI of App is not really nice especially on mobile try sending feedback. The feedback form caused so much confusion. Very disappointed that after I wrote a long suggestion to improve I had to delete the suggestion.

Racism on western media…... Why hasn’t India been fighting for Ukraine. If these people as you say are brown like Indians. Then why aren’t you taking up arms to fight? Didn’t the white people send more supplies than People of your own race ? I have American Indian Native American blood in my DNA . If the truth comes out no one wants Russia pointing a nuke at their country. India hides with its tail between its legs . Concerning your own brown skin I’m color blind in 3 different ways . Problem with opening the App. Enjoy the news service which provides honest review of the news with MUCH less bias than other services. However, I cannot give the App 5 stars because of a problem while using with my iPhone 13 Pro Max. When I connect to the App, a message appears telling me “a new version of this app is available. Please install to continue.” Unfortunately, when connecting to the App Store, there is no need to update the WION App and I am directed to open the app. This mechanism is extremely annoying.

Tiny Font. Great app but the font is so tiny it is extremely difficult to read. Please consider something where a person can enlarge the article so it can be read. Maybe like when you can spread your fingers on a picture in order to see it better. Also to many articles on sports & not enough on world news.

Visual media. I have been watching ur chnl for the last one year that ur media is one of the best in coverage in entire world countries news from politics to sports. But at times couldn’t watch news thro the app properly. Sometimes the chnl is buffering & stopped . Which pls note .

Writer. A number of years ago I began watching the woman who reported the news on WION. I don’t remember her name. She was outstanding in covering world news. After I found her, she was my “go to” website for news. No bias; just news!

Can’t open account. Tried to set up. Gave Name, email address, choose a password, clicked my acknowledgment of terms & conditions. A response pops up on bottom of screen. It’s literally there for less than 1 second, then disappears. I was able in less than 1 second to read following words; email, region, cell. Not necessarily in that order. Tried 6 or 7 times. Nowhere on the site is ANY information on how to get help. So I guess I can just use Apps for news outlets you then show.

My opinion about WION news. Unlike most news portals in India, WION news extensively covers international news apart from national news. The coverage is unbiased and balanced. Wherever opinion is expressed, it does not appear to be guided by an ideology or by a sponsoring corporate house. I thoroughly enjoy reading WION news and watching WION tv.

Hoping for Landscape..... Vertical view only; great for those tiny little phones. Hoping for Landscape view for my iPad. I keep the app on my iPad to show my support for WION, but i can’t use it because it’s sideways on the screen. So I keep viewing in browser. Go Palki!!

Not Ready For Use. The app shows every story as being classified as “General Elections 2019.” Regardless of the subject matter or date of reporting, everything is placed into that category. The app is also unstable…50 percent of the time it shuts down when clicking on a headline for details. The app undermines the credibility of your news network.

Eliminate URL requirement !!. I want to write for WION , have tried to join but cannot due to LinkedIn URL demand , drop the demand so I can write !! There was one lady condemning pro life groups for being against abortion and She was Wrong!! Report the news, stay out of opinion unless it’s commentary side of show !! Many people are against abortion, me being one of them ! This woman was vitriolic against those standing it seemed very personal for her, as if she was talking for the whole agency of WION . Be Neutral , much better Look !!

Error. I love your paper only you need to fix the coding so that when I change screen position it will rotate! As it is I have to rotate my computer to display It on my iPad.

Worthy. It’s an awesome news app definitely worth it and I also recommend it to my friends and family.

This news outlet seems biased when it comes to BJP and modi. This app is fine with most articles, but when it comes to BJP and PM Modi, news outlet seems to be biased and tries to promote BJP and Modi, instead of dealing BJP just like any other party. This is my observation, and i do not to open any article on BJP or Modi from this outlet.

Decent user interface, could be better. But it does the job.. Decent UI in the app, news content is good and to the point.

Video later play automatically. Videos shouldn’t be playing automatically while trying to read through the page. And there’s no option to turn this auto play off

Neutralized Clean Journalism.. After long gap, WION has appeared with above mootto. It’s presentations style, language and speech all are entitled for appreciations. Viewers would prefer to watch facts news with neutral viewpoint. I can just hope WION will not run after “Nirma” or “Ghadi” to degrade its presentation as we have many so called Big News channel but with fighting hosts and quarreling participants. I like all the hosts so far seen, specifically Palki, all of whose selective words with selective subject matter and attractive speech makes each of the show knowledgeable and attractive. Keep it up and thank you, Ram Akwal Yadav, Kathmandu.

Readability. The headlines font has been updated so it is easy to read. However the main news content font is very small, just like this email font. Need to update (increase) the font size for details as well.

Had potential 😢. When I first started watching was good because it gave you news from both sides. But now it’s all for western side only. They don’t give you the whole truth it’s now one sided. And it’s sad because I would like to know both sides of the story not just what the USA 🇺🇸 wants you to know or hear . Bring back morpitia if I’m pronouncing her name the rite way. She saw things from both sides.

Issue with zoom. I’m not score to zoom in while reading the article and the page zoom seems to be fixed size, making it difficult to read

Different perspectives. Refreshing to read news from a different perspective. American news sources do not usually cover Asia even though more than half the world’s population lives there.

Integrity. You appear to have rock solid integrity. CNN, NY Times, WP, Reuters, China Daily. Epoch Times etc. do not for they are more or less propaganda outlets for politicians, governments etc. Don’t squander your reputation because you will never ever get it back.

Great app but..... No complaints on content and news whatsoever... If WION can improve GUI, it’ll be so much better. Dark mode/Night mode is a must these days. Margins and font should be improved. ‘Card’ type news placement will make it wonderful. Otherwise, hands down best news app ever!!

Won’t open articles. I am using an iPad. I have the latest WION app. None of the articles will open! When I tap an item the app automatically closes down to my Home Screen

While other media outlets try to be biased and show news based on their opinions, WION always shows the facts and research evidence before making a point. App is poorly built. The WION app is poorly built for both iOS and Apple TV. Constant crashes or failed streams. The numerous times I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall only to be met with a different error baffles me. Please rebuild your core ground up for both iOS as well as Apple TV OS. It’s clearly not working be it on my device or the other Apple devices that I have tested this app on. **My 1 star rating has nothing to do with the content and is purely reflective on the app itself. The news channel itself is a good source of news, the app however has a lot to be desired.

Chinese news content not available. You can see China related news feeds title on scroll page but when you try to open the news content to read, it shows something went wrong. Are you trying to cover the China related news content??

Donald Trump Case. The way the news was presented was detailed and unbiased about the ex President of the USA. Other media outlets report in a very prejudiced manner and do not elucidate the issue being reported.

Exactly what Indian citizens need.. Indian media has been spreading lot of negativity about India and highlighting great things about western culture. Every policy that govt comes up with has a big backlash due to spreading wrong stories from media. Indian can not grow like this. We are going backwards. WION and gravitas is exactly what everyone should listen to. Unbiased and fact based. Keep it up. What is missing from this app is ability to listen to the gravitas videos with phone locked. I would like to listen while driving or travelling without watching the video. I can’t do that at the moment on my iPhone. It would be good to have audio only live news. I would pay for that feature if I have to.

Gravitas is biased. Sad to see an otherwise great effort being undermined by the Gravitas anchor Palki. She is biased in her reporting and views when it comes to news from within India. Tried to ignore her part, but deleting the app because couldn’t tolerate her non sense commentary anymore.

Presentation. English language is a foreign language. Use of the language requires extra skills from presenters especially when presented for international consumption. The written text could be slightly larger. Sometimes assuming a very high moral tone in the presentation can turn off audiences. Thank you for listening.

Notification toggles are a disaster. Fix the notification toggles so that I can set it to breaking news only. I thought I had it set properly (even though the toggles/buttons barely work). And after seeing a bunch of irrelevant non breaking news notifications I discovered all the notif were turned on again. Make this a priority because I will delete this app if you keep spamming unnecessary news. Update: shut off all notifications and got another dumb notification. Deleting this app

I’m in Canada and enjoy your very informative app, when i get your news topic notifications on the home screen of my iphone, i love how i just press on the topic and it opens the app directly “to” that topic within in the app, but lately, there have been certain topics not there when it actually opens up the app for me, the topic i was interested to read is nowhere to be found? Is that caused by our “Canadian Government censorship? Or, is it that WION has possibly “recanted or removed” the article that previously was posted? I’m very curious of the reason why this is happening, as it has never happened until last 2 months? Thanks, Scott M.

Tini Tiny Fonts. The fonts in the news articles on the app are so small you cannot read them clearly. There is an adjustment to increase the size of the phones which I tried, but does not work.

No viewing controls on app. Rating the app, not the content. The font is next to impossible to read on an iPhone. Washed out text on white with no ability to increase text size, no support for reverse video. Seriously the app is a total let down for the excellent content from Wion. Please fix asap!

WION covers important topics unavailable in US media. My title says it all. Objective analysis in depth is what I expect and receive whenever a topic is accessed. Excellent reporting.

Meh. I don’t think they’ve improved the app for some time. Can’t even increase the font, which is too small. And the content also appears to be a copy paste of the usual suspects with the same political slants. Will be removing the app.

Stable app. There still seems to be a slight glitch scrolling. It feels like it lacks smoothness while scrolling. The video rendering also needs to improve.

Reading WION news. I enjoy reading the news in WION, it’s only news no nonsense like others, who present it as they want it not as it is, information is Very terse and concise, I love it

The only real news platform. It is difficult to serve the honesty, especially in media industry. Please keep the ethical movement on and slap the fake media on daily basis.

App hangs a lot. Disappointed with the app. Fails to load videos and articles randomly, and recently it’s sending me notifications even after turning it off in settings.

Finally!. This would be a game-changer to counter fake news and manipulative reporting of world events by some of the world’s top mainstream left & right media.

Font size too small. The font size of the news text is too small. It’s almost impossible to read. Please make it bigger or allow app users to zoom out the page content.

Font size doesnt change.. Overall app looks good except for font size changed doesn’t get reflected when increased or decreased. Hope WION tema fixes it soon.

Video later play automatically. Videos shouldn’t be playing automatically while trying to read through the page. And there’s no option to turn this auto play off
