Decent, but not worth the $4.99 upgrade. I paid for the “quick draw” feature and after fighting with the apps inability to figure out portrait vs landscape, I found after first shots that the app only picks up 50% of the time at best. I’ve adjusted distance, lighting and sensitivity to no avail. As soon as I think I have it dialed in, it misses the first shot, and sometimes the first 5 shots! Really would like to have my $5 bucks back, but maybe they will use it to improve. This is a 2-star app but I have it 3 because the free version is good for being free. Do not pay for anything they offer.

Makes dry fire practice more fun. As a police officer and shooter l dry fire pretty regularly. My dad got me this for Christmas today and I had it dialed in within ten minutes, easy to use. My dad had a single/double action beretta which makes it a little more fun because then you don’t have to rack the slide every shot. But for real practicing drawing my duty Glock from the holster and picking up the sights and seeing where I’m hitting is awesome! Also he got the 223 insert was fun as well.

Good deal •Beginner or Advanced. I’m in a condo 20x40 so with a long hallway I can set my target at a tape measured 30 ft / Works perfect after a little setting / 1st thing that helped me tremendously was my led lighting with a dimmer as I could adjust lighting perfect / had it for 2 days and my arms are killing me / SO SO much fun and you learn at the same time / I put 1873 rounds on target /Its helping my finger control 100% /only negative is they should have made the Target double sided with the silhouette and offered it as and option /

Excellent system!. This system allowed me to become a better shooter for sure. It doesn’t simulate live fire and the way you react to recoil but it helps in other ways that are essential to better shooting in my opinion. 1. Improved my hand eye coordination 2. Improved my aiming 3. Improved my shot grouping 4. Taught me good trigger pull and hand control because I would always see how much the laser jolted every time I pulled the trigger 5. Taught me fast target acquisition using the “quick draw” mode. 6. Saved me bullets at the range practicing techniques I didn’t need to use live ammunition for. Anyway just want to show my support for this app/system and I’d like to see the developer continue to make improvements to the app. Couple of constructive suggestions I’d like to see implemented in future updates: 1. In quick draw, highlight the bullet hole that corresponds to shot # taken. 2. Be able to change the shape and/or size of the bullet mark when a shot is registered.

Great app. Would benefit from a PAR timer.. I like this app, and use it most frequently on my iPad. When using the native iPhone version on the iPad mounted horizontally, it's important to lock the screen in a vertical orientation before using. Otherwise the camera image gets all wonky. Also, this app could really benefit from a PAR timer. Seems to be the only thing missing.

Works better than expected. I bought this system to let me practice from home without cost of ammo. Wasn’t sure what I was expecting but this met my expectations and more. Easy to set up. Worked perfectly out of the box. Printed extra targets. I now practice daily along with a monthly trip to the gun range. Highly recommend

Excellent way to practice. Iphone 7. Had some issues getting used to how it is set up, but once I figured it out it works great. Seeing some negative comments/reviews here I could say the only one which I would sympathize with is making the holes less "ragged", and smaller, perhaps, but that would not be enough to downgrade to 4 stars. Friend has a Laserlyte system he paid almost 3x as much for, and it doesn't give you a record of how you performed. If you are considering a laser system, get this one -- the whole system costs less than the Laserlyte Bullet. Sometimes you pay less and get more.

Works really well. So I just got the set up yesterday and messed around with it for an hour. I started in the living room with relatively low light since my wife was watching tv. No real issues with false readings. Main issue with accuracy was due to movement on my part when depressing the trigger. It actually was nice to visually see how much movement I had when firing. After a few shots I was seeing less and less movement of the laser and more accurate readings. After a few minutes my wife wanted to try it out but she wanted more light on so she could see the target rings more clearly. I turned on the overhead fan light and started getting false readings from the reflection on the target. After maybe 2 min tops of adjustments, it was working perfectly again. Only issue then was after I pushed the start button my shadow went over the target and I got a false reading. I just needed to watch where my shadow was as I backed away. Having a 5 sec starter delay for you to get into position would solve that issue. Overall I give it 5 stars. It was fun, informative, and easy to troubleshoot when the lighting changed and false readings showed up. An app like this will require some fine tuning on the user end before it works perfectly so I would recommend this system to everyone. Thanks.

Excellent tool for practicing dry fire. Their are a lot of benefits to dry firing, but the immediate feedback can be lacking. This tool along with the app has provided immediate feedback and assisted either trigger control. Just like with all dry firing, there is no kick; however, for practice with your own weapon, this is an excellent tool. I also recommend the quick fire addition to the app as it provides a timed tool when drawing from concealment. I highly recommend this app along with the iTargt Pro sled.

Suggestion. Overall I like the iTarget system but I wish there was a way to make the size of the score larger. I like to practice from 15’ to 20’ away and from that distance I can’t see my last shot’s score.

Fun and practical. I'm having fun with both my 45 ACP and my AR 15. On a serious note I had a red dot that was way out as it was delivered. Last trip to the range I went through 2 clips and still it was not correct. Set up in my garage with your product and 11 shots later I put the next six in the #10. So its very practical as well. If you could only give some kick back you might put the ammo folks out of business 😁

Works Great just need to properly set up.. I was actually having the same issues when I first got it a lot post on here.. shots not registering, issues with lighting conditions, ghost shots registering. This is the response I received and if you follow these steps you will have no issues. Main thing being to zoom in on target so the only thing in the picture is the target! From Developer - 1) Make sure the phone camera is not seeing off of the target plate and is only seeing the target image. Anything in the background could be interfering with the shot detection. 2) Make sure the light on the target plate is an even light. No bright areas and shadows on the target plate at the same time. Make sure the room has normal lighting and is not too dark. Don't use it directly under overhead lights. 3) Make sure there is no reddish light illuminating the target. The app responds to the color red. 4) Press the wrench image to go to settings. This is the main screen for adjusting the sensitivity. If you see any white showing up here, that area is being detected as a hit and your laser won't be. Raise or lower the sensitivity to eliminate any white. Ideally, you want to raise the sensitivity as much as possible without introducing the white noise. Take the laser in your hand and shine it at the target plate. The laser should show up as a white hit and everything else should be black. After I adjusted these things, zero issues.

Super easy!. I’m just a regular gal who wants to be protected. Single mom, demanding job- so very little opportunity to go to the shooting range to practice. This seemed like a great idea! It took me 10 minutes to set up, adjust sensitivity and light, and away we go. The only issue I had was with the phone cradle. It slips a little as the phone needed a slight tilt forward. Otherwise, this set up is great! I love that o can practice at home when I have time. I don’t have to spend money on ammo. Thank you for this!!!!

Back porch training! Perfect!. I have a 8-shot 357 so it was an expensive investment to buy 7 additional laser cartridges but now my whole family can practice between range visits on the back porch with ease. I have mine setup on a camera tripod so I can practice on different height perps. I am thinking about getting multiple sleds and phones so that I can set up a “course” with multiple perps in the back yard. With this system, I’ve reduced my draw-fire-bullseye down to under 2 seconds. Much improved over my initial times. Highly recommend!

Bill from Spartanburg. Ordered this product and it arrived in mere days. Set up was super easy and worked flawlessly with iPhone 8. Spent the extra $4.99 for the QuickDraw shot timer. It works great too. Notice the number of positive reviews vs. negative. I’m not denying some folks may have been disappointed but the greater number of responses are positive and rightly so. Terrific product especially for the price point. Have used on my Sig Sauer 225A1 as well as my Sig P365. Might even give it a go with a Ruger PC9 Carbine outdoors just to see what happens. I’ll post result later. Hope I do as well when next at the range as I did using iTarget Dryfire System👍 -B

A fantastic dry fire training tool!. Before iTargetPro my live fire groupings were 2-3 inches (essentially tactical accuracy) at 24 feet. Two months of dry fire training with iTargetPro and now my live fire groupings are one inch or less at 24 feet. I've gained experience on trigger control, proper grip of my firearm, acquiring a sight picture, understand flash sight picture, firing from close range, acquiring sight picture with both eyes opened, and so much more. A total of 4,383 rounds of laser fire over a two month dry fire training period saved me $1739 dollars of live fire .45ACP ammunition cost. Bottom line, could I have done the same with live fire training? Yes, but it would have cost me $1739 dollars to gain the same experience. Highly recommended product for anyone wanting to improve his or her firearm training.

Much better after update. LOVE this app! Safe and fun way to dry fire at home! Would give five stars, but I’d say the app only registers about 95% of my shots. Not bad, but hard to keep accurate data when shots don’t show up. GREAT alternative to going to a gun range, especially with ammo being so scarce.

Big Improvements. The developers have made some big improvements and feature upgrades over that last few months, making the app much more useful for effective dry fire practice. The Quick Draw and High Score in-app purchases are also great and add even more challenge to practice sessions.

Great tool for practice. This will pay for itself the first few times you use it. Easy to setup. Accurate recording of where shots hit. Laser cartridge is actually very durable and well made. That was my concern ‘in a kit’ but I am glad I got the whole package. Its definitely better made than the cartridge I had. Not thru all capabilities yet but impressed so far. Nicely done. Would give it 5 stars if the phone wasn’t a bit in the way of target without standing off to the side but a minor nit.

Excellent. I have been working on the penny and pencil drills which didn't provide great feedback and weren't fun. The iTarget is great! Using a Glock 19/9mm, indoor practice, and the setup was really quick with no hassles. Excellent experience. Will update review as I try different environments and distances. Updated 9/28 - excellent still!

Spinning Wheel. Super excited for this version to release! Download & installed just fine... spinning wheel on "purchase now". Back to the first version till the bugs are fixed. -- Was able to purchase!!

Don’t waste the $$$. Set up doesn’t seem to get easier with this. Have to constantly fiddle with the adjustments and it still never sets up right on my iPhone X. The target is always a little skewed as I have to angle my phone to get close to a proper picture of the target. And I’ve watched the video and spent time trying to adjust everything. I’ve used in varying degrees of light with different settings and it constantly just starts showing rounds impacting on the target without me “shooting!” The sound works intermittently and I’ve deleted and reloaded the app to see if that would work to no avail. Not sure why that is. At $80 for the whole setup I’d expect a little better. When it gets close to working properly it’s fun for dryfire training.

Decent training aid, but needs work. Bought the setup a couple of months ago and by and large it works pretty well. It registers the hits and you get instant feedback, which is positive. On the negative side, trying to stop false hits is a challenge at best. Often I have to place the target holder in a dark corner of the room. Have a adjusted the sensitivity settings numerous ways with moderate success. Just when I think I have it set, false shots start to register. Finally, there is a feature that allows you to save the target image to your photos. This only works about half of the time. That is a pain because you lose a target and you cannot analyze you shots. That said, the app is free and the expectation should be commensurate.

Yeah I tried everything but the app doesn’t register shots.. The app doesn’t work with iPhones, been shooting and seeing the laser hit the target but the app doesn’t start or register the shots weather I enable shoot to start and double tap the screen. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and watched the videos. This is a good idea but it seems no one has looked into keeping the app up to date with the latest phones and hardware.

Great practice!. I have really enjoyed this app and target system. It takes a bit to set up properly but once set up it is accurate. I also bought the quick draw in app game and can’t wait til they release the third game!

Decent, needs a lot of work. When it works it’s great. Unfortunately it glitches way to often. If your using it indoors it takes about 10-20 min to get the lighting just right in your house to get it to work without glitching. If your using it when the sun is out good luck. Best used inside at night with no natural light coming in. If they fine tune the camera I’d use this everyday. It’s just to frustrating to use the more often. I’ll change my review to 5 stars when fixed.

Nice system. I have used my system several times now. The laser cartridge works perfectly, the sled/base only needing a phone holder with more adjustment to be perfect as well. My 8+ fits without its case but not with, I actually have a phone (selfie) holder I’m using instead of the base. As for the app, it took a few minutes to get the settings where I needed, as well as the indoor lighting. Definitely don’t have it under direct light or it will start scoring based on that. So take a few mins to get it set correctly and it should be fine. But once i had the settings and surroundings set, the rest went as expected. With the high cost and low availability of ammo (and limited range access at times) this system will pay for itself soon enough. And it can be fun to get back to practicing, including being able to work on more than ranges often allow. So for now i’d give it 4 stars (close to 5), for me it was definitely worth getting.

App works great with system, but would like to see more features. The app works pretty seamlessly with the iTarget Pro system. Very happy with the ability to dry fire train with a purpose. The 3 different modes are nice, but it would be nice to see the app expand a bit. One suggestion is to allow the ability to set up more than one user for shooting games and competitions. Very nice system as it is, though. Worth the money for the system.

Pretty good target practice.. Overall this is worth it. I would recommend to the developer. To change a few minor things. On the Quickdraw game add a countdown at the start. If I am shoot from a distance of more than 2ft I need to be able to get ready at my desired distance. Also on the score that pops up after you shoot, change the color or add a border, plain red can sometimes be hard to see against a white target. When snapping the photo of the target i can’t get the photo to turn out very well. It’s either too dark or too light and sometimes it has a green effect on it. I have tried to adjust the light conditions in the room but no dice.

Major improvement.. I have used this tool for the past few months. My ability to get on target is extremely improved. I wish I could show you my before and after pictures. My last trip to range I did what I though was impossible for my skill level. Shooting 10 shots in 10 seconds --- all but 4 in 150 shots was within 4" of center at 25 feet. I use the target and laser by sitting in my sofa at home and shooting. 10 or 20 shots a couple of times a day. The issues about the feature of the app and the multi fire problem can be solved or ignored ( shoot in darker area) Remember the goal. To improve your shooting. In that regard IT WORKS. Now I can practice shooting without my glasses, with my other hand etc. dry file is the way to go and I've found that itargetpro is the best choice.

Good but needs work. It really is a good dry fire tool. Mine is perfectly accurate (only tried up to 20 ft) with a clamped gun on a bench. 3 observations that could improve it in my opinion. It could be easier to line up the target. My iPhone 6 barely holds in place with the target in frame. It could also hold your score on the screen a little bit longer before removing it. I can barely make out what it says before it is removed. The lines on the target could also be darker because I can barely see them at 10 feet. But still a lot of fun and good for muscle memory.

Read Instructions!. I literally only have the app. I use my own laser, printed target and stand. If people would actually learn how to calibrate it and make sure their laser is bright enough to register you won't have an issue. Setup takes a little time, but once you're done it's game on. Love the timer too so I can practice draw.

It works. The app itself is pretty basic. It it works well. Only issue I've had is with the stock glossy target, if I have a light on behind me that shines on the target, the glare will register false hits. I printed out the target on regular printer paper and it's much better, I prefer the colored center anyways. The system itself is why the 5 stars. It's a great and affordable way to practice and makes dry fire practice much more fun and beneficial.

The weak link of a decent product. The iTarget device itself is pretty good. The target is a good size, can be seen well from 30 feet. This is further away than you’d probably ever have to shoot from, but does allow for good trigger squeeze practice. The app on the other hand is horrible and the weak link of an otherwise decent product. It seems like no matter what you do you get false hits. I have tried calibration, different light sources, types of light and it doesn’t matter. The app doesn’t seem to make full use of the spectacular camera on iPhone 12, the image seems slightly out of focus. The last ding is that you have to pay to get all the features of the app, this is after paying $100 for the product.

Needs attention, borderline unusable.. I’ve had this system about a year. The shot detection is borderline unusable. Most light conditions will set it off in a frenzy recording shots that never happened and/or completely ignoring the ones that did (yes I’ve adjusted the sensitivity). The laser bullet you buy is great, but this app needs to be completely overhauled. I use other apps with the laser bullet I bought from iTarget. None of the apps are exactly what I’m looking for though. There is a hole in this market to be filled if anyone is willing.

Works grate if you buy the Phone/target mounting slide.. This system works very well if you buy the phone/target sled. The system works very well with iTarget training laser in your fire arm. I would think a training laser of a different brand would work just fine. I just bought the whole kit from target pro. I am looking forward to additional options in future versions. Best quality dry fire laser training for the money in my opinion.

iTarget Pro. Got to play with my iTarget Pro today. Very impressed! I used it inside and it worked perfectly with default settings. At the price, it’s just a little more than one trip to the range, and no cleanup afterwards! I like that you can practice from different positions and real world environments that you can’t do at the range. Great for practicing accuracy and trigger control. It will also be useful for introducing the basics of handling a firearm (aiming/using sights, trigger control, etc.) to new shooters prior to taking them to a range for live fire. Additional lasers are a bit pricey though.

Great tool for dry fore practice. I started using the free app with a laser I already owned and mounted my iPhone on a homemade stand. I was so impressed that I purchased the second version when it was available and then one of the iTarget laser billets in another caliber. It does take some effort to adjust the sensitivity for varying light conditions but it has never failed to work once I got the adjustment correct. A lot of benefit for very little cost.

Love it!. I’ve had the iTarget Pro system for a couple weeks now and I’m loving it so far. As far as I know, this is the best training system of its kind. I’m already able to see an improvement in my trigger control, accuracy and confidence in my EDC. Setting the proper light sensitivity is crucial for accurate scoring but even slight lighting changes caused by moving shadows and other factors can cause false hits. Adjusting sensitivity, however, is very easy and is a non-issue. I opted to upgrade to the paid version for the Quick Draw feature. I love this! I enjoy challenging myself to get faster and more accurate. After each shot set, the app displays your cumulative score, but one feature that’s missing is an average time for each shot. Please consider adding this feature on the next update. Looking forward to seeing the High Score feature implemented as well.

Amazing system. A great training tool especially with ammo shortage and pricing Really fun my wife is even enjoying it as well as myself training with my conceal carry pistol Thanks for making a good product

Great App. I’ve been using the app for couple of years now. It took couple of tries to get the right calibration/setting but soon as I got it, works perfect. Have tried other apps but for me, this one works the best. Hopefully in the next update I’ll be able to enter notes. 👍🏼😎🤟🏼

Great system. It’s not perfect, I’ve had some false hits and some times when a hit looked different than how it was registered in the app. My iPhone 6+ in an Otter Box style case is as big as will fit in the cradle but it does fit and work. The price is great compared to other training systems, you’re learning on your own firearm, no reloading mags, no cost of ammo (I’ve already dry fired well over the cost of the iTarget system.), and no cleaning after a session with the iTarget. I had an issue that needed support and got a great response! Thanks to iTarget my groups have gotten much better.

Was great but useless now. With volume of my phone being completely up there is no sound and I looked in program for new update but there has not been for over a year… kinda takes away from the fun of using such equipment… when I first purchased it it worked flawlessly but now it has a bug in it in the program that prevents you from utilizing the system making it now obsolete…. I would rate it 5 stars at first but I now rate it a 3.

I’m hated it, before I loved it. When I first set up itargetpro I was getting false ghost shots. It would just go off. I tried everything but couldn’t get it to stop ghost shooting. I assumed it was just another crappy product. I then reinstalled the app and it worked and continues to work perfectly. I have zeroed in all my green lasers at 20’. Dead on!! It would have took me forever and been such a hassle at the range but it was so easy with this tool. I love this product.

Not Bad, Needs Work. Not a bad app. It works as advertised. The sled platform seems a little flimsy and the target is a little difficult to see unless it’s under a good light. I tried to purchase an additional target (quick draw) but nothing happens... with a few key updates this app could easily be a five star app.

Great Training App. I saw this talk about on an internet site. I looked for reviews and found most very good. I purchased the iTarget Pro and the add on purchase then downloaded the app. After viewing the instruction video and a little practice I got it set-up. I love it!! It has helped my grip to control the gun, my trigger pull and my site picture. Outstanding value and the company was right back to me to answer my question. Thanks for a great and fun product!!

Great system for the money. I heard about this system on a podcast so I checked it out. Looked like it would work and was substantially less expensive than the high end trainers. Got it today and spent a few hours with it. Although it’s not perfect, I doubt it can be beat for the cost which is why I’m giving it 5 stars. In my living room, there are 6 can lights and the target reflects those pretty easily so I had a few tries to get the settings right to stop the fake hits, however, I was able to adjust it out and spent an hour or so working with it. My groups weren’t bad to start but in that short time, I was able to really separate trigger movement from barrel movement and improve. I moved it to a few rooms with other types of lights and had no fake hit problems, so I’m fairly certain the bright spot directly under one of the can lights was the reason for my initial adjustment needs and would likely be a worst case scenario. The adjustments for my iPhone 6 in the cradle were also not perfect but did work with a little fine tuning. Also, with a little tinkering to get the wires to get to the phone, I think I can hook my phone via HDMI and put the screen up on the TV so that I can see the display from far away. This will make a great training tool for the off season and I like it so much I just bought one for my father for Christmas.

Excellent training tool. I’ve had this for about a year and so far it works great. There are times that you have to tweak the settings and adjust the sensitivity so false hits don’t register but that’s not that difficult. I do place a piece of cardboard behind the target and this cut down the false hits by 95%. If your looking to train at home this might be what your looking for.

Please fix! Don’t need to hear the gunshots. I love this app, and have gotten into the habit of practicing my dry-firing all day whenever I have a spare moment. My only complaint is that you can’t disable the sound! I don’t need to hear a gunshot, I’m practicing dry firing. What I really want is to be able to listen to my music and use the app at the same time, but if I have music running the app pauses the music to mimic a gunshot sound. If this can be fixed I’ll amend my rating to 5 stars!

Great app so far!!. Tried this app for the first time today and all I can say is it works great, for free you can’t beat this. Here is what I found out. First watch the little video on how to set it up once you do that it works as advertised. I can see I’m going to get the holder and try the Quick Draw.

Great app!. Other reviews claiming this app is inaccurate have either not calibrated the target zone properly, or are firing the laser in a well-lit area (both of which drastically affect the shot recording accuracy). I use this app indoors with a 9mm CZ Shadow 2 for IPSC training and it's invaluable. Once set up correctly, this app will help you record accurate shots and time your draw speed. To the app developers: is there any possibility of adding UPSA/IPSC targets? Overall, very pleased with this app and highly recommend it for people who dry fire.

Does NOT work ON Iphone 11.. Have purchased and will not work on New Iphone 11 Pro. Works on older phones but that is NO help. Waste of money.

Poor. So inaccurate and poorly designed

Great App.. App works very well indoors in different lighting conditions. Still waiting on my training 9mm laser cartridge but have been testing feedback with a digital laser thermometer with great results. Read the other review saying that screenshots are not recorded. I just live capture/video my session and pick out of this what I prefer. Cheers

Awesome!. This app is great!!!

Laser bullet won’t fit.. Waste of time and money. The bullet had to be sanded down to fit and chamber. They would not rectify the problem. Since the app was updated they are now trying to charge for the other features that I already paid for. Good luck talking to someone in customer service as it does not exist. Buyer beware.

App doesn’t work. Got for a Christmas present because ammo prices are so high. But the app doesn’t work, it doesn’t keep track or score nothing. And there are no instructions so you have to figure it out for yourself. The “play” button started the recording ONE time but has never worked otherwise.

Love it but... Bullseye, ballistic offset, silhouette target all great. Just doesn't seem to want to download the in app purchase for QuickDraw. Just shows the in progress wheel but nothing happens...

iTarget pro is garbage. This app. Is junk, I set everything up as directed. As soon as I hit start it starts registering hits and I haven’t even pulled the slide or the trigger. Over charged the light, adjusted the size, moved closer, further back. Nothing works. Most worthless pile of junk. Waste of money.

No support for green lasers. The app only supports red lasers and does not work with any other color. I contacted the company and they explained that they make money by selling the lasers and they only sell red so they do not intend to spend time or money developing the app to support any other color laser.

Bring back old version. At least it worked!

Love it. Had mine for 4 years and still use it. Been waiting for high score app for 3years Hurry up already

New update not working. New app update doesn’t work. Used the old app daily and loved it cannot get this new update to work. PLEASE downgrade the app so it’s useable it’s rendering your platform which has been great useless.

App is Terrible. I just received my target/sled and laser bullet. After “calibrating” and setting everything up, the app is your current TERRIBLE downfall. It is off by a few inches. Like I said, even having calibrated it. I took video of the laser hitting the target with another phone and what the app catches is not even remotely close. This is an awesome idea for a product, just has some tweaks.

Horrible App. The app does not work at all. After downloading the app, the app started showing shots on the screen that had never been fired. When I attempted to shoot the gun, the laser did not work. This is a horrible waste of money!!!!!

New version is a blast. Wow guys, The new version is soooo much better. No more manual adjustment! Everything is settling up by software. I like delayed score. Stars are better too. Good job. Saved tons of money on ammo by dry fire practice. Especially working from home this is a huge bonus. 5 stars.

Great until iPhone update. Worked great until the latest iPhone update. No longer works and I lost the quick draw purchase when I attempted to reload the app. Emailed developer... any fixes???

Quick draw option not available. I really enjoy the bullseye training but was really interested in the quick draw option. But you can’t purchase it in the app.

Gimmick, cheap and does not work.... The app is terrible... It constantly scores shots when the trigger has not been squeezed and the overall quality of the set up is cheap. Only reason I got it because it was a gift via a Gift Card or I would not have wasted my money on this gimmick.

Good Practice Tool. Key seems to be getting lighting conditions right for best and most consistent performance. Be patient and the software works well. Hundreds of fires and laser bullet still working fine.

Doesn’t Work. I put the phone in the sled. The iTarget doesn’t seem to recognize the paper target in the sled. It doesn’t center on the paper bullseye, and I can’t move the target on the app to center on the paper target. It just plain doesn’t work. Do not purchase.

Too many problems. Laser cartridges didn’t fire; cartridge fired but didn’t score repeatedly. Of three new cartridges, one didn’t work with the batteries from those that did. May be an excellent tool, but it isn’t right now.

Great system. Great system and with costs of shooting going up this is a must have. I’m only giving it a 3 star cause I wish I could use my Sirt trainer on this but it doesn’t recognize the green laser. I wish the developer could update the app to see both green and red!

Not accurate. We tried multiple different phones and had the same problem, it would randomly count shots even if no one was shooting or moving so we tried different lighting and no one would move but the same thing happened

ITarget App.. My favorite app by far for draw/shoot practice indoors. Just wish you could shoot one of the triangles to restart the target training session.

Great. Just got my Itarget today and ripped it open and started using it. And trust me with in time this will improve your shooting. My mom won't let me shoot I guess I gotta buy another one. I wish they had more target design.

Terrible. Waited years for an update and now that it’s here, it broke the app! It will not register ANY shots at all! At this point it’s a useless (but expensive) hunk of crap! It’s also messed up that it’s 80+ dollars for the equipment and then they charge you 5 dollars for each additional mode!

Works fine but need to update. Sound used to work. Doesn’t anymore. Shots register fine. Very accurate sensing. Even still, it’s useful for drawing and dry due practice.

Ragged holes. Great dry firing system. Using a rifle with a proportional 200 yard cmp target. The holes are so ragged it is hard to tell what ring you are in. Bullets do not make ragged holes, they are pretty round. Fix it!!!!!

Round hits, please.. This was given to me as a great Fathers Day gift. With a full understanding of the set-up I had it working is short order and it’s proving to be a solid dry fire tool. My only complaint is: ragged target holes. Real bullets almost always make round holes in paper targets. The only exception to this may be when there are overlapping hits or when a bullet tumbles (which is an entirely different problem). Please consider changing the hole image. Thanks Bill

Value for the money. With the frigid temperatures we have been experiencing, it is a real boon to be able to get some practical handgun training in without leaving the comfort of home. Was able to use this training aid for both my handguns and handgun caliber carbine.

Four years since last update? Cmon man. And this product is still being actively sold as one that depends on a functional and usable mobile app? Sorry, you’ve got to do better than that. There is a functioning product here but so many ways to make it really useful to a shooter. Great concept but four years since you’ve fixed a bug or added a feature is insane. UPDATE: adding back a star because a new version has finally been released. It appears the User experience has been completely redesigned. I’m a UX designer by trade and will be happy to share my unbiased feedback after using it.

Garbage app. Concept is cool and when the app works it is cool. Every time I launch the app and try to use it the screen on my phone has a green tint and the shot counter goes off on its own and I have to delete and reinstall the app to be able to use it. It is very annoying. Fix the app and you would have 3 or 4 stars from me. Still outdated. Last update was more than a year ago.

Glitchy. App no longer recognizes the target in automatic mode, then it will start a phantom session scoring hits not shot! Have reloaded the program will no better results.

unfortunate. the concept is great…the application is NOT. i’ve the latest ifone, and it works rather poorly, is not straight-forward to use and given the user experience, makes the whole apparatus OVERPRICED. i should hope that updates shall soon improve the system.

Not even close. Registers shots when there are none, and after spending some quality time adjusting all of the settings etc I've discovered there's no way that the hits it registers are even close to the shots made. Great concept, just flat doesn't work.

Used to be great, until they broke it.. 1.61 was fantastic. Easy to use, streamlined, every feature that you’d ever actually need. The 2.0 update broke the basic functionality of the app. It no longer registers the laser unless in near complete darkness, anything brighter in the room gets registered as a hit. Only high sensitivity comes anywhere close to working. Garbage.

Waste of money. I received the iTarget sled, laser bullet, and target for about $100 shipped to my door. I was super excited to train and dry fire my CCW. However, after fighting with the cheap sled and iPhone setup this app is junk. Once everything is setup it just goes off like you are shooting (even though you aren’t). It will go on and on not allowing you to shoot or train. Do not buy this product! Such a disappointment!

False shots detected.. Pretty much the same issues as other users. Picking up false shots when you physically move around or not registering the shots fired. The cradle purchased to set up your phone with the targets was NOT inexpensive but purchased to assist logging accuracy. Will experiment in other area of the house/lighting.

App stopped working. Great for the first hour, then the app would not show or allow to adjust target. (The red calibration zone) Laser bullet works great. The app is great when it works

Changing companies. The app is terrible. I purchased a new shooting format and can’t even use it. Also the laser does not register as a shot so many times it becomes stressful. Worst experience

Okay. Would give it 5 stars if the target would fit correctly on the screen.

App Doesn’t Work on iPhone. Just received iTarget. Bullet works fine but app does not. I downloaded it twice, but when selected, the app opens up, I select Bullseye and the app immediately closes. I downloaded the LaserHIT app, and everything works well. Very expensive for a $10 laser, paper target and some plastic holders.

Not thrilled with the latest update. I liked this system until the update. It’s harder to navigate the app. I find the app starts shooting by itself now, where it didn’t before. Unfortunately I may have to find something else to use.

Meh. Recently purchased this as it was listed as one of the best dry firing training app. The hit detection is spotty and the sled feels cheap. The app detects so many false shots even when attempting to adjust sensitivity. The sounds don’t even work when I fire the laser. Overall I have to rate this as meh. It’s ok, but I’m sure there are better out there.

iTarget System. After a short break in time and learning for me, I find that iTarget is excellent for at home dry fire practice, improves my stability, trigger pull and my accuracy. I know with time I will become a much better action pistol shooter! Rjo

Simply doesn’t work. As soon as you activate it the app starts recording rapid shot impacts randomly across the entire field of view of the camera.

Good but. Works well but after paying 100 bucks for the equipment we shouldn’t have to pay another 5 bucks for the app upgrade. Should be free

In App Purchases are overpriced!. After spending money on an overpriced piece of plastic that isn’t going to last long to hold the phone and target, the laser bullet, and getting the “free” app, you will find out that the other two practice modes cost $5 each as an add on. Very disappointing after the money the system costs.

Could be great. Love the function and the feed back. However the app won't take the picture of the screen and the add ons cost more more.

Poor. It’s cheaply made and barely works. App is buggy. Doesn’t register laser shots very well. I played around with the sensitivity and even all the way up, it wouldn’t register a single shot. iPhone plus barely fits in stand. Nice idea, poorly and cheaply executed.

Derp. Downloaded this, the app opens, but as soon as i try to make it function by clicking continue it shuts down.... had not enabled camera, derp derp

Not happy app will not work. I downloaded the app and won’t load up. I get to the screen after confirmation of safe live weapons check and it closes. Very disappointing was very happy to have but then a MAJOR let down. Update the app and get the bugs out.

I love this app. What a great app there are times I can’t get to the range so I use itarget probably one the best apps on my phone!! My question is when are you coming out with the bullseye portion? Hopefully soon!

Pretty fun!. The app isn’t great, but once you get the sensitivity set it’s pretty fun. I have an IPhone 8 with Otterbox case and the phone fits in the sled just fine.

Update please. I bought this thinking i would have all access to everything offered, I have been waiting for over six months. There are some bugs that need to be worked out, hopefully iTarget will have their developer fix these issues soon...this could be awesome
